The club is a vibe. So many areas and spots to hangout in the club. They have a great screen where they show F1, football matches and events such as the live watch of the US elections and debate. The prices are good, the waiters are nice but can seldom take their time, the facilities are clean and the club has so many options and spaces to choose from.

The vibe and atmosphere at K1 Clubhouse were really good. The food quality was average, but they had a nice variety of alcoholic drinks. The music was also decent. Overall, if you’re looking to experience a standard yet local-style clubhouse in Nairobi, I’d recommend it.

Aluta Thursday is always on point. Good reggae, good food, good vibes. For smokers, you can do it freely. Ample space for groups and for dancing 😊🎉 K1 is always a Classic!

This is a nice spot and I have always enjoyed it when am visiting Nairobi . On Sunday November 2nd we were however turned away because apparently you have to be 35 and above to enter the space . So only one of 5 of us could qualify to get in so we all walked away. Am assuming there is a new rule that you have to be of a certain age to patronize this space so know before you go .

My friends and i were at brew bistro. We enjoyed our time there upon leaving. As we approached the lift the men started trying to hit on us. One of us said, don’t even trying hitting on these girl they are expensive. We all got into the lift. While in the lift this woman in these pictures started insulting us, and the men assaulted us. They beat us until one of us went to call security. After, security just came and did not help us at all. We demanded to see the cctv of the assault but they became so mean and did not help us at all. The boy is green beat us up very badly as the woman in black called us all sorts of degrading names. This all was because one of us refused their advances and it hurt them so much. As I type this i have marks and my knee is swollen plus my nose is broken. This whole establishment showed us that they don’t care about women who go to this building. There are cctv footages of us being assaulted but they refuse to show us and let these people go scot free. These are their pictures. Two men one woman. It's a tiny gem with an amazing atmosphere. Though it's on the smaller side, the ambiance is really nice and it's accompanied by great staff who are really friendly. I would recommend this place to beer enthusiasts as they brew their own beer but they do have a great drink menu all round for everyone in general.

The place was empty on Sunday midday. I was informed that brunch starts at 4pm. It was disappointing. The music was not good either. Suited for the older generation. I had to leave and look for brunch elsewhere.

The service was outstanding; from the security detail who guided us to the restaurant, to the greeter who welcomed us, the waiteress who waited on us, and the managers who kept checking in on us to see if we were having the best possible time. The unlimited BBQ brunch was incredible too. The Bistro could use a bigger floor space, and the outdoor area could use fans.

This was a birthday lunch date treat. At first, both of us hadn't realised that the Westlands branch was permanently closed down, so we tried our luck there, then proceeded to Marcus Garvey Rd. Since we came in later, not your usual lunch hour, the atmosphere was a bit relaxed. The waitresses were cordial and courteous as always. The food, which was the reason for the visit, was over the bar. Can't quite remember the dish name as per the menu, but you can never go wrong with this choice. The food was good, they said the fish is fresh from kisumu but i doubt that, chapati and plantains where amazing the red fish sauce on the side tasted funny The waitresses are nice and slow The food was expensive comparing with the cuisine and the atmosphere and the service.

First time at mama Oliech, service took forever, finally ordered, took another hour of wait before telling me rice will be a while. I opted to get another thing, which was another patience test waiting for. Once the food arrived it was great almost worth it. I had ugali mbuzi(goat) Good portion i couldn't finish. Made me remember the saying kill them with kindness but in this case unfortunately it was bones.

Samaki | Fish | ዓሳ | Qurxummii Great food at this famous place. The fish either dry or wet fry is delicious with ugali. They do have parking spaces but limited. As I mentioned the food is great, however I found it to be a bit expensive compared to other similar restaurants. Would definitely recommend it.

I was there for Nairobi R&B and I can’t lie it was a great night. The place was full but still breathable. I had a wonderful experience at the Ethiopian restaurant. The food was amazing, but the service was a bit pushy with upselling different items. Despite this, I still enjoyed the meal and left a tip. The restaurant was much larger than expected, with a spacious outdoor dining area. My family and I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian meal, which was full of flavor. Nice relaxed place for delicious Ethiopian food. Definitely recommend the vegetarian platter so you can try a bit of everything. It's big and great value. Service is friendly and very quick - only complaint would be that my food arrived actually too quickly - within about 2 minutes of ordering! - but took a while to get a drink and some cutlery. The atmosphere is great. It’s at the top of the One Africa building, right at the top of the dome. The food is very good, it reminds me of the show “The Bear”. It’s fine dining vibes. The drinks are also fire by the way. The staff are super nice and always available to attend to you. The main bar felt a bit far away from most areas though. The DJ was spitting, the music got us dancing for hours. It’s a great place for a date, you have to book ahead and it’s totally worth it. The prices can be spit swallowing though

Japanese / Peruvian on the 20th floor of a building. In my opinion the main courses and special cocktails are good, but don't meet the expectations that the price and location set. The expensive meat cuts have disappointed me twice: not the top quality you pay for and extremely small portions. The sushi is great though! Especially the ones with crab and tempura. The chocolate fondant is great! If you want bang for your buck here, go for sushi to share, regular cocktails (at 800 I think) and desserts. Those are definitely worth it! Reservation needed, definitely on the weekend.

Great Peruvian Nikkei place with wonderful views of the city! Some dishes were fantastic while others were ok. The Maracuya pisco sour was too sweet for instance. A nice place for a night one in Nairobi.

Fancy Feast...the food and service is impeccable. We sat by the pool on the patio. I had the seafood pasta and Caribbean mixed seafood. Which was so good. there is a lot to choose from. The ambiance of this restraunt is like no other. We visited on our last day in Nairobi Kenya, I recommend going at the beginning of your trip so that you can enjoy the ambiance and cocktails for the poolside full bar. Very upscale restaurant. We were so lucky to sit poolside right in front of live entertainment. I would recommend this restaurant for a very special date night or special occasion. I ordered the lobster Thermador and it was very exquisite.

We made a reservation for the Sunday brunch menu and upon arrival the service was amazing from the entrance....the brunch menu had 3 selection and both were bottomless seafood ,one with unlimited cocktails and the other one with unlimited sparkling wine....the portions were massive .....nice aesthetic, nice band,it was just amazing.....we began with sushi ,assorted dumplings, pasta,off the grill,crab then dessert. I really enjoyed the meals and service at mawimbi it was top notch and I'll definitely go back....

I was in Nairobi for 3 weeks, my girlfriend and I went 15 times. Honestly I haven’t had food this good for this price- yes it’s not cheap- but it’s not overpriced. We went for lunch and dinner mostly (breakfast is good but not as amazing as lunch and dinner) and honestly they never missed. But I will miss this place

I had written a positive review previously after being encouraged by the staff and because our first experience was genuinely good. Unfortunately, after our recent visit, I feel the need to update my review. The new menu for vegetarians was a huge disappointment. For a place called Harvest, one would expect healthier, fresher options. Instead, almost everything was heavy on white flour and bread. How much of that can one really eat without balance? Service was poor and extremely slow—from starters to the main course. No one checked on us during the meal, which made us feel ignored. The restaurant floor was also dirty, with food particles scattered around, showing a lack of care. Overall, the food quality, cleanliness, and service have gone down significantly. What was once a promising experience turned into a very careless and unpleasant one. Sadly, I cannot recommend the place anymore.

Was there in two different times both times nobody came to serve us, huge place but lacks the staff to run it. At one point i asked the guy in the bar counter to send someone to take our order but no one showed up. So we left and did not regret as we found better service in the food court.

Unless you know about this place you may not enter as it doesn't look like much from the outside. However it's a very good place to eat. It's super local and far from being a touristy place. There is no set menu so you get what's available but the fiid is very good and typical Kenyan food. Staff is very friendly and will answer all your questions about food. Wines are decent. I would recommend not showing too late otherwise most of the food options may be gone. It has a very quiet atmosphere but food is worth going there if you are looking to try local places. It reminded me of my local lunch time neighborhood restaurant in Brussels

This place offers great atmosphere and its a good spot to eat local foods within Nairobi CBD. Were out of foods for the day like chicken stew and wet fry fish. I you want specific delicacies be there around lunch hour for this specific location.

Athola very tasty, but no one to guide clients that its self service. I sat there almost 15minites before calling someone to ask for food, only to be told pay first then come with receipt.

Went on a Friday night and it was so loud 🔊 I thought I was gonna lose my hearing. The place was filled to capacity and there were no seats left. Nothing wrong with loud music, but this was over the top and it made impossible to have ANY conversation without the risk of loosing your voice from shouting. There was also no room to dance or move around, which was quite disappointing. The only upside was the crowd which seemed pretty cool, but what use is a good crowd if you can't talk.

Que Pasa has been a favorite of mine for years, and it never disappoints! Their wood-fired pizza paired with a refreshing draught beer is always a winning combination.

Location very good, nice place to chill with your family, friends or solo, atmosphere very good, not noisy, take a bit of waiting for food to be prepared. I was here with my family on my birthday, we had a late lunch, prices not very bad, would pay them a visit and recommend.

I've been here severally but today was the worst.I always come here mostly for pizza but today the service was bad and the crust on the pizza was so thick and the pizza wasn't tasty at all .worst part is the packaging on the take away pizza ,it was squashed in a foil .what happened to the nice carton or box packaging .when I got home it was all soggy.am very disappointed.

The food was OK. The pizza is probably your safest bet. The brownie we got was frozen and run. They replaced it and the second was just as bad as the first. The vibes are good though and they don’t rush you for the table.

Tried the pizzas and mocktails at Que Pasa Bistro & Bar – really impressed. The pizzas had a nice thin crust and was full of flavour. The mocktails were fresh and well-balanced, though the Orange Espresso Soda didn’t hit the mark for me – I’d give it a 6/10. Great ambience and friendly service. A lovely spot to relax in Karen.

One of the best places in Nairobi, value for money. Only 2 issues they missed lamb chops, Leffe and 1 dessert we order from their menu. Still we will be back becoz the food n service were excellent.

One of my favorite spots in Nairobi. A cool and vibrant place specially on weekends with an amazing latino food menu and amazing music. For me they have one of best inhouse DJs in Nairobi.

It’s very American dive bar feel. It’s exactly as it should be: 4 star. Bbq wings? Okay and on par with okay bar food. They did have onion rings and pretty good batter, light. The onion was real but thin (again this is in comparison to western palates). Nachos? 5 star. Different tortilla style but overall the pork was lid salty but good. Beer? White cap. Fine.

My second visit to Havana and I still loved it. The food is amazing and not expensive. It opens at 2pm and the bar doesn't operate till like 6pm but other than that it's a nice place to have a nice meal and catch a few drinks. Would totally recommend.

This place is popular with friends but we all agreed that it’s better for drinks and dancing in the night rather than eating food in the evening. The food can be basic, nothing amazing for the price and location. I would suggest to visit Brew Bistro across the street to eat, then come back to Havana for drinks and dancing later. The music is good and it has both upstairs and downstairs. Toilets could be cleaner but they are ok.

The service was excellent from start to finish. We had a great waiter. The atmosphere is great too. It's a fabulous place to have dinner, drinks, and any small function. For starters, we tried the chicken wings, which were really good. They were tasty and filling. We tried the squid, which was excellent. It came with 2 types of sauces. For the main course we had the braised lamb accompanied with risotto rice and greens. While the lamb was really nice, tender and well cooked, the Risotto was rather salty. The greens were very good. The bacon cheese burger was really good. Next time that's what I will order. For dessert we had creme brulee. It was good too. The bill was dear too. 😁 Sierra Brasserie is a place l would visit again!

An excellent steakhouse offering tender cuts of steak. I was quite pleased with my food which tasted great, despite ordering my steak to be cooked medium and it coming out more rare or medium-rare. Very professional service and lovely ambiance.

Fantastic food and really nice ambience. Perfect for a date. Burger - Ordered it medium rare. It was perfectly cooked and really tasty. Caesar salad - the butter poached chicken was moist and flavorful. I’ll definitely get this again next time. Pepper squid - good, nothing out of the ordinary. Cocktails were good as well, I highly recommend the gin martini. Our server was great but wasn’t as attentive as I expected because she had too many tables to cover. All in all a great evening. I’ll definitely be back.

The entire food experience was a delight. Bacon and pear croquettes, Thai chicken wings, steak full of flavour and a coffee and chocolate stout cake that hit the spot and rounded out this truly delicious meal!

Great location but not much else to offer. The service was a bit slow and the servers seem disinterested, you can feel something is off with the attitudes but wasn't sure what that was about. The food was average at best. I had grilled chicken which was nicely seasoned but tough and overcooked. The card and board games are always a nice way to socialize. Overall, the experience was a bit underwhelming but definitely has great potential especially with the vast space.

Bao Box has a beautiful environment — the setup, lighting, and overall vibe of the place are really impressive. The food itself is delicious, and the presentation looks great once it finally arrives. That said, the service here really needs improvement. We arrived around 2:40 PM, and it took nearly 20 minutes just to get someone to take our order. I even had to go ask for a drink myself to get things moving. By 4:15 PM, we still hadn’t received our main dishes. It’s unfortunate because this place has so much potential, but the slow service takes away from the whole experience. If management could improve the speed and attentiveness of their staff, Bao Box could easily be a top spot in Nairobi.

A very friendly places for your casual meetings and catchups. Its not always quiet since there are plenty to games and activities there to plan. They are a bit slow in serving but staff are friendly and helpful.

Let's say that this is my first proper meal in Kenya and if you've done some research, the locals would recommend you go here for their nyama choma (barbequed meats). Yes, it was good. But somehow I expected a bit more. It is smoky, maybe a little bit bitey and probably could have been a bit more tender than I would have liked. Still, it goes well with ugali and kachumbari. I came before actual lunchtime, but it seems to be a place that would go off at night. The locals go here, travelers would go to the upmarket Carnivore. Still, it was a memorable meal.

I only went for a coffee. The service can be painfully slow and the upstairs is quite dark. Other than that, the space is way bigger than what they had previously. The food prices are pocket friendly for the location and they have a lot of local dishes. If you are a family, downstairs is more family accommodating and I do like that separation of the different spaces. If you don't imbibe, there is plenty to choose from.

They just need to work on their service, parking is a nightmare 😕 and the music 🎶 sound . I understand it's work in progress so I will be back in a couple of months to see how it's going .

I couldn't get enough of the wet fry beef. It was so very tasty. And unlike many establishments, despite being a busy lunch hour the food was delivered promptly. No long waits. And the service was good. Can't complain. I definitely would go back there again and again

Very disappointed. Took +1 hr to get service despite being promised ready meat. The nyama Choma was extremely tough. On raising issues with the meat, solution provided was to wait even longer for the food to be cooked again. Manager was too busy to speak with us and our waiter was ignored our plea. All in all really BAD experience. Not coming back again.

It's an improved version of the former place. The music is too loud even for daytime clients who just want a meal.

The food is okay, but not anything special. Nonetheless, the environment is very "social" friendly. It's a great place to visit if you're having a meet up with friends/family. That said, because it was crowded when I visited (likely due to it being a public holiday), I was forced to sit out in the sun which greatly degraded my experience.

The G-Spot is not what you think. The Golden Spot it is. Located in Kilimani, G-Spot is quite a cool place to enjoy your meal and drink... very reasonably priced and copious. Whether with family or friends, you'll be satisfied with the G-Spot offerings. A car wash is also available for those who drive in and need some sprucing for their rides. Friendly staff and service too.

There's that traditional vegetable that only Mama knows how to make..(kunde). Then there's that beef named Anti-theft. And have you tried their Kienyeji chicken wet-fry? This is one of the last few restaurants in Nairobi where you can have a seat and savor a traditional meal. Service could be a bit faster though.

This place was a whole vibe and bumping all my jams I listen to in the states. The Sausage and chips hit the spot. They have handicap parking available for customers in need. Also have the cutest little wheel barrel as bar tables. Plenty of Picnic tables with umbrellas if wanted to sit outside. The drinks from the juice bar were extremely refreshing. Large sections to accommodate large parties inside.

Will comment on every aspect, Us we are the golden sport client since 2013, and good food service also was good. For the past few months the service is down waitress are not there, golden sport use to have good waitress kina Fred, Ruth,Nicolas and Cell just to mention few, their service was top notch. When you order something they will keep coming to see you and ask if you want something else. This new one food is cold, when they give you food utawaona tena. And Kuna uyo jama Ako section ya juice they guy doesn't value waitress kushout all the time ameeibiwa. Cutting the waitress salary left right. Last two weeks I was there and was in shock. We want good waitress and good service.

I unfortunately found a hair in my shot. It was quite unfortunate as this was my first time coming to this place after hearing about it for years. I also brought three friends with me from Nigeria, Italy and Colombia to see the place because i had heard good things. The service was otherwise good from the staff and so was the atmosphere so I want to be fair about my review - everything was quite good up until we ordered shots. My friends did not have any issues luckily, just me. The bartender was reasonable to not bill me for this shot, but I hope in future this does not occur again as I was about to invite even more people to come check the place out and will be back.

I liked their vibe....it was a 10/10 minus nothing 💯.....the dj was lit.....the customer service was very quick no delayment despite the place being full.....it was barely past 8 pm and the place was filled with a lot of good vibes and good music 🎶....it is an hidden gem in town...also the place is not so loud.....I would definitely recommend it 😀😉 this place over and over 👍🏾👍🏾👏🏾🤗.....and found a chill spot in town before I go home😅😃.......they also have food...and it's pocket friendly and delicious 😋🤤

Very lively club, with plenty of sitting place, for those who want to relax and plenty of dancing room for those who rather dance along to the wonderful music. The dj there is a showman who understands the assignment, literally playing bangers after bangers. Their cocktails are well blended and generously served. It's a nice joint to have a pleasant evening of drinks and music in the Nairobi CBD.

I've been a customer for a while now but my experience on saturday was terrible and horrible.there is no way a waiter can show us attitude and to top it all she was not even sorry,very unbothered. We had to walk out! very terrible service,asking her to call the manger she was like the manager cant help you out! we need good service to match with value for our money! too sorry to say you guys have lost a customer due to bad service and your service attendant bad attitude! its very unfortunate.

I had no idea what Number 7 had in store for me when I walked in for a cocktail. It was brought to my attention that they had stand-up collective performances on what is dubbed as Laugh Attack Tuesday. My peeps and I  had a fantastic night full of laughter and banter. I also enjoyed the cocktails.

The first impression was the restaurant is closed. Abandoned customers simply aren't a priority there. Frozen food, slow poor service. Menu prices do not reflect in the bill! Nice peaceful garden but that's about it. Will not return

I was hoping to try the tilapia, however it was not available and so I settled for dry fry goat, sautéed potatoes and a passion mojito. I waited for the food for quite awhile, despite it being one of the quickest meals recommended, so not an ideal place for a quick lunch. The cocktail was a highlight, very flavorful, I enjoyed it immensely, but I have a more reserved impression of the overall dining experience. It was a bit overpriced for the quality of the experience.

A serene place with easy access from Kilimani, Ngong Road, Lavington and even Kileleshwa. However, improve on customer service and service time. Also review some prices, simply an African tea. But your fish is dope

The fish here is out of this world! The roasted Nile Perch is huge and well marinated. The wet fry tilapia is delicious. Great ambience with very old and beautiful trees. Second time here and amazed. Edited: Unfortunately we all had tummy pains the next day.

Not a fan of seafood personally but my wife loved it and the portions were more than generous. Got treated to a surreal performance by Kidum and the grown crowd is haven't sent.

There Nile perch grill is perfection. Love the outdoor ambience. Also, each tent/seating arrangement has popular places tagged in them. So if you can take notes for your next trip from here as well. 😅

Came here to eat on a Monday evening at 9pm, the place was almost completely empty except for a few small tables. The food is good, but the service is a disaster. We waited over an hour for two meat dishes and two veg sides. I asked if the food is done and he told me “almost”. To ask a second time, i had to walk up to the kitchen window to ask if the food was done, as the waiter only floated past our table a few times all night. They mistakenly added a dish to my bill, which i requested that they remove. At least they did. I can forgive a lengthy wait if the place is busy but this was an empty Monday night. If you’re ready to spend a few hours there drinking and chatting and have no rush to eat, it’s fine, otherwise expect long waiting times and cold service.

Good food. Usual choice of nyama choma and even mutura; grilled fresh for each order so be sure plan for the cooking time. Nice spot to watch a game and well stocked bar. Bathrooms accessible and reasonably clean. Secure parking.

Terrific place for Nyama Choma. Nice bar/garden in a location with a car wash and barbershop as well if you’re so inclined. Menu is simple straightforward and meat focused as you would expect. Beef or goat, roast or dry or wet. Chicken etc. Why worry, have the goat choma. Extensive bar. Came just after midday on a weekday. Not crowded. Very nice.

The food is worth the price. The burgers are well made and the chips portions are the hugest I have seen. The outlet is a stall space and they have a few sitting spaces, which honestly are not very comfortable and not what I expected from the huge bill board advert. We preferred take away because the sitting space wasn't very comfortable. If one can order the better.

First I got lost went to the mbagathi one only to come back to roasters. Anyway the food was Soo good but the waiting time was long we waited for an hour before getting our food. But everything else was great. I'd rate it 6.5/10

They finally have a physical location around roasters @amani food court. Good sizeable sitting area, great food and fantastic service. I had the chicken and bacon burger, so delicious that it just melts in your mouth. Try them out!

I had the beef bacon loaded fries. The food was really tasty and the portion was enough, dare I say even enough for 2 people. In terms of service the staff are really nice and very professional, however the food takes a minimum of 25-30 minutes to prepare. So I would suggest ordering when you're not in a hurry. Overall, I would recommend it.

Order food from them through Uber Eats. I had a full serving of their popular Beef, Bacon & cheese loaded fries. All I can say is, tasty like lasagna 😋 😜 🙌🏾 Very fast service they've got and shout out to the friendly rider (Wallace) who delivered my order 👏🏾

No not impressed at all, it is a beautiful location and that's basically it, I may be more picky with restaurants like this, especially when paying close to €200 but I'm definitely not being unreasonable. Lovely location though, they get your coat and hang it next to your table, for it not to be handed back to you. The wine selection, just doesn't do it for the food to me, well known names but little connection. The bread is ok, I liked the sticks and the brioche that came with the second portion. The pure butter was a disappointment, some olive oil, vinaigre, herbs or even salt would have made it better. The oysters, not spectacular, badly cut and the smallest I ever had. The gravy sauce didn't do it for me. I didn't want to order steak as it is generally not the most creative dish of the chef, but there was no lamb, so I ordered a rare dry aged steak with side salad. In that case it'll have to be an amazing dish. Unfortunately not here, the steak was sliced, ok if you're unsure what you are preparing, but then just make it look good, this is sloppy. I ordered rare and half of a slice was actually rare. I've fed steak to the dogs before in Uruguay because a steak I ordered care was medium cooked and I would have done it again if there were any around this restaurant, it's a pity to let meat go to waste like this. I ordered chimichurri and got pepper sauce, I could have finished my steak 3 times before I had chimichurri. And it is not only too late, it's also the worst chimichurri I've ever had, it's pure garlic. The caramelised onion was a nice touch, but it was the hard piece of the onion, so if it can't be eaten just leave it out. I didn't like the salad, it had a strong salty dressing that was totally off. Just to make the disappointment complete, I ordered a lava cake to be able to make a point. No eruption, the cake to dry, the ice-cream didn't match. I was basically the only guest, but poured all wine, except for the last bit myself from the chiller. The waiter didn't notice my empty glass. I went to the washroom, no fixed napkin on return. You'll have to get your coat from the hanger yourself. Despite a tip that's half a wage in Kenya I guess the details of treating a guest are not known here. I only blame the owner for this. A restaurant like this is made and broken in details, and to be honest it failed heavily. A three course disappointment completely. I do love the toilet that is near the exit, I had diarrhoea.

Beautiful fine dining experience in Nairobi. The ambience was calm and elegant, with great service and attention to detail. I had the fresh oysters, beef carpaccio, and octopus — all beautifully presented and flavorful. The setting is perfect for a relaxed evening or special dinner. Would definitely return!

We had an afternoon late lunch here with a live performance from Shane which was lovely. The service from Laura was excellent and we got a tour of the restaurant since they reopened. As we both came here when we were younger, we had a feel of the change of atmosphere. The meals were okay, nothing to write home about. The risotto had been marketed as vegan risotto however we had some feta cheese on it which was a bit disappointing. However the gnocchi was super delicious We both felt that we would probably come back for dinner as the terrace felt too formal for a lunch. However if they had garden seating, that would be exciting for brunch/hightea (which is yet to return) Entertainment opts; Shane on sundays from 2 DJ Every friday at highlanders lounge 80s/90s disco night every last friday of the month at the conservatory

Well, well, well. The infamous Lord Erroll certainly lorded it over us with a delightful but, and with all due respect to them, an overpriced menu. Perhaps that explains why it was so empty. I could be wrong but maybe they should reposition their offering and bring down prices by at least 30% because everything including the wine (I double checked the prices outside the restaurant) should not have cost that much. That notwithstanding, the ambience is to die for and the food was certainly delicious.

Nice concept with the plants and colourful decoration. This is a medium to big mall with many shops. Banks, 3 telecom companies, clothing stores, African craft stores and more. There are also many places to choose amongst to eat. There is also a bowling alley but no cinema.

Village Market Nairobi is one of the best lifestyle destinations in the city. The mall has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options — from international brands to unique local stores. The food court and dining areas are excellent, with something for every taste, and the environment feels safe, clean, and family-friendly. I especially like the open, airy layout which makes it stand out compared to other malls. Parking is convenient and well organized, and staff are always helpful. Whether for shopping, dining, or just relaxing, Village Market never disappoints.

Please, please, please consider removing that useless height bar that is located right in the middle of the open air parking lot. The bar should only regarde cars going to the upper parking lot! Because of that bar I must do a huge detour whenever I'm coming from Gigiri to Rosslyn or the other way around. I go to Village Market at least 3 times a week and I have a car 2,30mts high. It's so frustrating! I beg you to please consider removing it! Photos are attached to my review.

What appears to be a mall from the outside transforms into an oasis of experiences once you step inside. Village Market is a beautiful blend of restaurants, clothing stores, markets, and open-air tranquility. We spent the evening exploring — stopping in bookstores and boutiques, picking up fresh flowers from a local market, and later meeting friends for dinner in the food court, where there was an incredible variety of cuisines to choose from. Village Market is one of those places you can visit over and over again and still discover something new each time. Truly a gem in Nairobi!

A nice place with various restaurants and shops, though price higher but the atmosphere is quite good

Recently had lunch at Mama Rocks, known for their African-inspired gourmet burgers. The food was decent, and the staff were friendly, which made for a pleasant dining experience. I was a bit disappointed to find out they no longer serve the mini burgers, as I was looking forward to sampling a variety of flavors. On the bright side, they do have a happy hour. Overall, it was an okay experience. If you're into unique burger twists, it's worth checking out!

One the best burgers 🍔 in town. You should try their signature sauce- chilli mango mayonnaise! The burgers are so delicious and the fries with 🌶️ is very tasty. Good vibe and setup with good music- can be too loud though.

We ordered delivery for 2 TIA burgers+side salad were overall unimpressed. Burgers are decent sized with good toppings. Salad didn’t seem very fresh to be honest. It is also weird that you need to order extra sauces on UberEats. Wouldn’t order delivery again nor have any interest going in person.

The Desmond Flaming Tutu burger is 💯! We had it for brunch and it slapped 🤤! Also received great service. All the waiters were attentive to anything we needed and were really friendly. The space is pretty too. Great experience overall!

I first visited Mama Rocks on a weekday evening, the guard welcomed me as all the waiters seemed to be busy. I immediately fell in love with the ambience, unfortunately I couldn’t get photos of the restaurant to respect other patrons privacy. The restaurant has a modern Afro vibe to it. A waiter brought me a menu and it took about 10 mins before they could come back for my order. I had a mango Mojito and Ribs, the counter seating is a little uncomfortable. Go early enough to get the more comfortable seats, one table is shared by two parties there. I’m not sure how that works in a time of social distancing. The waiters seemed overwhelmed and exhausted on the night I was there. The prices were a little on the higher side especially for burgers and ribs. The food was ok, I thought to give them another chance by ordering delivery. The burger was awesome as well as the brownie. Parking is available and the location is very accessible on a main road.

Mama Rocks, like it's name suggests - rocks! Hadn't had a chance to visit them at this new location off Arghwings Kodhek until last week but I left satisfied by my experience. Service is still top notch and the gourmet burgers as flavourful as ever. I also liked the simple but tasteful decor. One downside though is that a large section is exposed to the elements and when it rains - which it did while I was there - quickly becomes uncomfortable for guests and staff alike who literally need umbrellas to serve you. There's no sign on the road so be careful of to miss it but otherwise a very worthwhile experience.

I highly recommend this spot if you are visiting Diamond plaza in Parklands…. Maru Bhajjia, sugarcane juice, Ruby juice corner, Anilz, Chowpaty are all great food vendors in the food court.. whose food you should try… Don’t we alarmed when a storm of waiters with menus surround you once you take a seat… that’s their job… you remind calm & just order from whoever you want. Open air dining in the food court. A must try when visiting Nairobi…

We tried a number of dishes here. Delicious food and good prices. I would recommend visiting 3 or 4 stalls and sampling the various dishes on offer. Also sugarcane juice is a must try. If you are really hungry, get the veg thali from Giriraj. It is than $8 and you get an amazing quantity of delicious food.

If you are looking for the best bhajias, this is the place to be! The location has multiple food courts with a variety of restaurants serving delicious delicacies. It’s spacious, quiet, and the service is excellent. Perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed meal.

Simple setting but the food is delicious,had garlic naan and butter chicken from one of the stores, l'm still thinking of that butter chicken.will be back to try all the other dishes.you can find madafu there as well.

I give this place a star for location. It is in Sarit making it accessible to anyone and everyone either on foot, by car or public transport. Other than location, I do not have good things to say about this place. I have been here a total of four times. This place hasn't gotten better with time, but worse. I had the soup of the day which happened to be butternut soup. The soup was watery, overly rich and not in a good way and too sweet for my liking. Perhaps I missed something on the menu which is possible but I thought the soup would come with something else. I did not enjoy this soup at all. I wanted to have a main course afterwards, but changed my mind because the starter was not to my liking. I have also eaten here before and I always feel ripped off afterwards. I knew the soup was KES 600 but the waiter kept saying it was KES 700. When I asked for the bill and showed him the menu, he said that what harm would it be if he pocketed the extra KES100. I don't mind tipping-although with this crazy prices, this is becoming a thing of the past for me-but I have a problem when someone feels entitled to my change. I did not get a bill because the system was down the whole day according to them. I also had an issue with being told that I cannot take photos when they have signs on the wall saying that as a customer you forfeit the rights to pictures taken of you in the establishment for events or otherwise by the establishment. They also didn't have an issue with me taking food photos to review them. I mean the double standards 😒😒😒. If you feel you don't want people taking photos, that is fine. You should also give your customers the same right to privacy that you are demanding of them. This photo issue took a whole weird direction when the same waiter who felt entitled to my change calls me aside and says that I should not feel bad and that the hypocritical lady who said no photos is actually a true hypocrite because she allows other people to take photos of the place all the time😳😳😳. This was an exhausting experience. Suffice to say, I don't recommend this place. Prices are high, the food isn't great, service is wanting and clearly there is a staff management issue. There are plenty of new eateries both in Sarit and Westlands as a whole. Find those places. I did manage to take a few snaps before I was stopped. I shall post them here because if they happened to take photos or videos while I was there, they would clearly post me. Make sure you read the signs on their walls.

Went there with my husband. We loved the chicken wings & pork ribs platter! 😋 Their food is generally very delicious. We enjoyed the offer on cocktails too! I got the "Jamaica me crazy" cocktail. It's nice and fruity. Hubby got the "bull frog" cocktail. That one is quite strong lol. The vibes were giving! Will definitely be back again.

Very comfortable space with options to sit inside or outside. Great experience all in all. Loved the food .... got the chicken stir fry which I throughly enjoyed. Big prtion and very generous with the chicken. I would rate their Passion Mojito a 3.5/5.

It's okay. I was looking for breakfast and coffee, which they had. The service was great. Alex was nice to us. It has a smoking section which is good. It's generally nice.

The view from the patio is magnificent.  The cocktails are to die for. I however feel like the burgers should have been more succulent. I'd endorse it as a great place to unwind.

4 stars because the service was too slow besides the restaurant being half full, we had to make our orders from one waiter to the other who would still refer us to a third waiter. There was a very good ambience outside and they play nice slow music. The toilets were very clean and well maintained. I generally enjoyed the food and drinks we had, 10/10 would recommend the Jack Daniels Burger

Absolutely enjoyed Jakoni. It's a bit smaller than what I expected but cleverly designed in a way that opens up the place, giving it a big space feel. The staff were very friendly and their Classic Mojito was 💣👌👌👌👌 (ddnt hurt that it was buy 1 get 1 free which they run all day Fri & Sat on Cocktials). Foodwise... loved their 🍟 and the grilled chicken was very juicy and flavourfull. Looking forward to visiting again.

Just came across this space along Ngong Rd, yet to sample their kuku but the cafe latté was not bad. Funky industrial chic decor with a sports bar vibe. I was expecting a bit more in terms of flavour/spice options for the chicken but it's flame grilled which is always nice.

Tasty burgers and unique unlike the other s in town fused with good service from the wonderful and friendly wait staffs.its a good place to chill but Abit challenging during dusty days.Generally its a good place to share a meal with someone.love it.

The Burgers Rock! Amazing Patty, buns are excellent, Tried the Mango Mayo and while it wasn't an instant hit, I warmed up to it over the course of the meal. Fast, friendly, professional service. Fair - Medium upper range prices but totally worth it. The atmosphere is where perhaps struggles alil but it's a shared space with the Alchemist and all the others so, cannot fault them. Try it!

THE BURGERS!!! 👌 I only heard of them till I tasted. They lived up to their reputation. Deliciously made. Then the service by DORRIS topped it all up. Very warm and welcoming. Absolutely informative and patient. Ask for Doris once you are there. Its a place I'm definitely visiting again or ordering from.

Frankly speaking the burger was too sweet to my taste. But very original and the ambiance was nice with music and then movie night!

I had the veggie burger on the buy one get one free offer. However I found the burger Abit dry and lacking in taste. The service was good and the place itself is a good vibe with several other restaurant joints around. If you're vegetarian, I'd look elsewhere.

The food is amazing. Takes some time but comes steaming hot, fresh & tasty. I would have Charlie's 5 stars but something I recently noticed when I went there with my companion is when we entered, we saw three waitresses standing & staring, who all saw us enter. We sat and never got any service. We waited for a while and an asian man(looked wither Korean or Chinese) walked in minutes after us and before he could even arrange his bags to seat, a waitress(one of the ones who saw us enter) dashed to serve him and brought him his first drink. We eventually got served by a nice male waiter who I tipped for caring about us when no one else would. So expect profiling when you got to Charlie's Bistro at Kasuku centre, Kileleshwa🤦.

This restaurant is conveniently located near my home, which was the main reason for my visit. The most appealing aspect is the terrace seating, offering a curious view of the traffic circling the nearby roundabout. In contrast, the interior lacks ambiance and feels rather uninspired. The food was unremarkable and fairly standard.

A decent "neighbourhood bar". this place used to be my haunt when working from home. slightly slow in terms of service, but a good selection of cocktails and desserts. the food used to be pretty good when they first opened, but since the kitchen team has changed a few times over, the consistency has also gone. very friendly staff

They just call it Charlie's, apparently relating it to famous Charlie Chaplin. But the theam has nothing to do with Chaplin except one picture of him wall. Chaplin would be shamed to have his name on this place. When we arrived, there were more staff than customers. Yet they were making stories at the counter and in the kitchen. Very slow service. No attention, no caring, no smile. Servers had a horrible attitude. Each time, different server came to the table. Food arrived late. Guacamole was a disaster. Not edible. When I showed it to the server, she was shocked as how it looked, but she did nothing. Just took the remaining to the kitchen. Drinks were not made well. Off. Many items were not available in the drink or food menu. They even overcharged me in the main dish, don't know why. Just left as it very uncomfortable environment to see them just talking to each other without paying attention to a few customers. Stay away.

I could have rated higher but here we go. (With great sadness). Im based overseas and came back home for a visit. Long time friend chose this location to meet and after the research of the place I was like heck yeah! Walked in. Excellent ambience! Sat in the middle of the lower dining area and no one approached. No welcome, no service for about 10 min. A Caucasian lady walked in and sat 2 tables from me and as soon as she touched her seat, a waiter rushed over with a menu at hand and wiped the table. Only then did he stop by mine to ask if I had been served. Now, I can go deep with this, but I digress. Food presentation was amazing though. I must give you that.

Great coffee ☕️ and nice working space. The food is great as well, and the staff is very friendly. Orders might take a bit longer than usual though. Take your laptop and head to Charlie’s, if you’re bored working from home - reliable internet connection and a place where you can plug 🔌 in. I love the pili pili fries 🍟 from here - so great.

Terrible service! Had to wait for my order for almost an hour. The food came while not hot. Asked them to pack the leftovers and the waitress said it got lost. I don’t recommend.

We came last year and it was better in terms of food, ambience and service. Very disappointed in the food provided, it was below Carnivore’s standards. Also, the dessert menu provided and food given is different.

I had an amazing time at the restaurant. The staff were friendly, advised on the menu, and largely provided much needed guidance. The selection of foods is outstanding and would recommend the meats. An outstanding aspect is their freshness, which is a rare aspect in most establishments. The place is operating smoothly due to its huge size allowing for ample distancing during the pandemic.

The waiter who served us was rude. This dampened our night experience and all we had ordered were three bottles of water... The atmosphere was amazing though.

Good place to watch football

The vibe here on a rainy Tuesday evening was great. They had kizomba dancers which were lovely to watch. Music was really good, and the service was decent. Don't rush for the food though. I only got the calamari but it wasn't unless you prefer a thick crispy coating rather than the calamari itself. Drinks were average bar prices so not overly expensive. Is go back for the vibe.

Place was nice looking. The staff were friendly and welcoming I ordered the lamb kebabs and a Caesar salad. The kebabs were good, but my salad was 80% crutons. Went in on a week day looked like a lot of working girls hang out here.

One of the very few poshy places in Nairobi where you get served Ugali! My chicken curry with Ugali was just amazing. Plus the view..

Not sooo big. Paid parking is available in the building, though very squeezed. I scraped the roof of my car because the spot I chose had low ceilings. The music is good and ambience is nice. At the time it had rained heavily and unfortunately quite a huge section of the roof leaked. All the same, we enjoyed the place. Service was good and prompt.

Everyone in Nairobi knows this place, it's popular. I will omit sharing my personal view, because we all have one. Either you like it or not. But it definitely is party time..

Went for the hangover brunch on Sunday and loved it!!! Such value for money. The buffet has extensive options and the music is really good. We got to try so many cocktails and I absolutely loved them. The rooftop setting really gives the place nice ambience. Definitely recommend this experience!

The view of the park is nice. It's a small space but very well done. We got cocktails and mocktails which were all well done. The nachos are not worth the price, especially knowing the tortilla chips they are using are from a supermarket. The spring chicken was good and generous, enough for two or three people. However, the breast was really dry and stringy, we ended up eating the legs only. Service is excellent, our waiter was very helpful and polite. Also had an issue and the manager came and personally took it upon himself to get it sorted. There's sufficient parking and relatively safe as there are guards on site. I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu.

Restaurant with a lovely view of the Nairobi national park. Staff were friendly Food was Ok, could be better though. I ordered a steak, medium rare. It was served medium😩. The veggies were nice & crunchy but not hot. Fries were good. The other order with lamb chops was delicious. There is room for improvement, so I'd give it a try again :)

Great ambiance and incredible space. Was here for a concert and it didn't disappoint. The space is just about the right size for an intimate session. The live band was great, the view of the Nairobi national park was just breathtaking. Nice place for sundowners, for those who love watching golden hours while sipping some drink and listening to a live band. The food was the only thing that wasn't that exciting but still good. But am kinda hoping maybe it was due to the lots of people in the event. But then again they could have done a bit better for the price range... Had the meat platter and it was just that slightly above average. Though I'd still come here again for the views and ambiance and maybe try their food again. I totally recommend to anyone looking for tranquility and just to chill. They also have a tv room where you can chill and watch sports. The parking space was also ample.

Ambience was great, obviously the construction trucks did nothing for that view but we were able to spot a few game buffalo, ostrich, gazelle. Service was good,music was great, the cocktails too. fish was fresh and tasty but the baby ribs were the toughest rack I ever encountered

This place was a bit of a let down in some ways and it just had to do with the ambience. There was barely any music, lighting was too harsh/bright, by the time they got the music going it was then turned off very early and very uncomfortable tables and chairs. The service though is superb with very very friendly waiters.

It’s a very nice restaurant along Mombasa Road, they play very nice music and you can see great views of The National park, you can also be lucky to spot a few gazelles. I really enjoyed the great service from Gilbert, although we waited for sometime before we were shown our reserved seats. Great place to watch the sunset as you enjoy food and drinks. The food was very nice, especially the starter and dessert, I didn’t really love the lamb I had for the main course because it was too fatty, also the potato wedges were a bit weird but their cocktails are out of this world and they serve hard liquor as well. There’s a casino next to it.

Such awesome views of the national park and spectacular view of the skyline while you unwind and relax to an awesome mix of music by talented DJs or live band performances that will get you dancing along. The food is amazing too. Love this place.

Perfect for adults to gather … cold beers… very affordable … excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff. Ample parking. Where friends gather or solo. More smoky sitting outside … what’s a barbecue with no smoke ? Inside less Smokey. Very conducive to loud laughter and loud conversations… in the evening they played 90’s music … everyone knows these tracks. Burp!!

This place is set in a safe area and you can make your way there through a cab or your personal means as there is ample parking space. The location is available on Google Maps so not to worry about making your way there. Also.... Portions!!!! Loved their portions and if nyama choma is your thing then you are most likely to enjoy yourself here. The drinks are affordable. The set up is for a mature crowd and the music is mainly Rhumba so no need to worry about holding a conversation in this set up. I will be back! 😊

Our favourite in Nairobi. The dry fry chicken was finger licking good. One full portion would be good for 3 people. The open casual setting, Loved the environment here, there’s snooker by the bar. Locals love to hang out here for hours, the place has good vibes to spend a couple of hours. Apparently their grilled chicken is good but takes almost a 60 min wait.

This is a good place for off work business engagements in a casual and relaxed environment. Their roast meat (Nyama Choma) is quite mouth watering.

Quite literally the best burgers I have ever had in Nairobi. Between the delicious food, the great ambiance and the wide wine selection, there's plenty of reasons to keep going back. Highly recommend

Absolutely enjoyed the ambiance and the food was also very enjoyable. Had steak with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Would recommend it any day. And for red dry wine lovers, this is a lil heaven for us. Quite the selection to choose from. Enjoyed my visit and will definitely be going back soon.

Best burgers in Nairobi. However the portion isn't filling so don't go there if you're too hungry. Would definitely recommend anyone who loves a good juicy burger to try them out. The dessert is oh so sweet!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. After placing our order, we were informed half an hour later that one of the menu items was no longer available. We then had to wait another hour for the first dish to arrive, and the second dish came 30 minutes after that. Throughout the wait, the staff repeatedly told us “just 5 more minutes,” which unfortunately was not true. This lack of transparency and poor time management made the experience frustrating. The overall impression was that the restaurant lacks proper organization and professionalism. I felt disrespected as a customer and would not recommend this place based on my visit unless they'll change.

Like the food. However, I think they should increase the food portions(fries). The dry fry is good.😁 Good service 😌. Great place to hold a family gathering/kids parties.... The band is pretty decent especially now that they have a lady in the group! That is dope.

Very nice place to eat and spend time. The food is organic and always well done... Complements to the chef and staff. You can never go wrong with their chicken. The lawns have maintained a splendid look even during the hotter months. Woe unto the mixtape that is constantly on loop though... Nearly three years now, the soul train is still running!!!

It's a great place for nyama choma. However, I had to wait for 2 plus hours for the food to be ready.

Nice an cosy for mature folks with great live band music ...hidden in the lush surburb of kiambu...place has ample parking ...secure...next to a main road...no need for wheelchair ramps...has ample space for kids to enjoy...great for birthdays,anniversaries and time outs....meal is great...no long waits....well prepared ...served hot...waiters are good...enough screens to watch European premier league...can recommend.

Starting with its construction, I think this was the longest I've ever seen a makuti and logs structure take to complete. Was worth the wait though. The place is airy and well spread. They did not cut corners with their sitting furniture and themed tables. The kitchens are just the best. Food is always fresh and doesn't take forever to serve. Super busy but service staff really rey to cope. Hoping they sorted their drainage woes. Rain Water used to flow into the restaurant which was a nasty experience. Parking here is also a very tricky affair.

Nice atmosphere. Service is needs improvement. Food needs to be improved in the afternoons. It was not fresh. Warm food was cold and cold food was room temperature. Servings were also too small for the price.

The food was pretty good and came out really fast. It's right on Kiambu road so you can sit outside and people watch while you relax.

Very famous for 'mashakura', a local name for a mixed dish; chicken prepared with boiled maize, boiled egg, vegetables, with a thousand other condiments. It's more like an African Buffet, only now, in this type, the whole buffet comes in a single tray, well mixed!

This place is so cool. Situated along Kiambu Road, its location is ideal for meeting and catch up. They have a rich menu full of African cuisine. The price is very friendly especially for a group. The waiters are very friendly. The pic is for 'kuku mutungo' or so am told. Chicken with all sorts of things added including an egg, arrow roots and other vegetables. It is really nice and I had a good time there. I would recommend it highly.

This is a great place to go with a group of friends. The food and drinks are good . The service time is short and the staff are very efficient. They have nice music too and great offers on weekends . It’s next to a church and you might miss the staircase when heading there , there is a guard to help with directions

Amazing vibe, and service ( we were served by Consolata). My only issue was the food. My goat masala took 4 hours( I requested for it at 5 and I was being served at 9pm) and it was cold when it was brought out. My friends chicken was really really good though. Also they've updated their cocktail prices to 2500 and 3000 for whiskey. Other than that I had a really good time. The DJ for sure knew what he was doing

I took my mum out yesterday for mother's day and wow. Am just speechless. The service from Joyce Nguhi and mostly Aswan was top notch. He checked on us frequently gave us a nice spot to sit and wow just wow. I will be back soon. I am hooked 😉😊😊. The food was amazing delicious not to forget the cocktails.....

Lovely restaurant with lots of space. The cocktails are great and the staff make up for the awesomeness of the restaurant. The Swahili dishes are fresh and well prepared. It's ideal for chill time, catch up with friends and if you want a good time. The location is easy to find once you are in Hardy area.

New location for the restaurant in Karen Hardy. The food was decent. Wings were a little on the dryer side. Set menu had bottomless G&T and a vodka option. They offered mocktails as an alternative. They also serve hotdogs, sodas and juices for your cost apart from the set menu. Service was ok but timings were a little off. Took a lot longer to get food that stated. There is a jumping castle and a paid stable at the back as well as a souvenir/curio shop. The music and crowd can get a little lively. They are new at the venue so overall a decent experience.

Very nice, well hidden fish and local foods restaurant. Very clean (spotless) without the fishy smell often associated with fish hotels. The fish itself was very fresh.. You have the pleasure of choosing one yourself before it's prepared to your standards. The service was warm and welcoming though there was some confusion when they were tallying the bill for our large group order and there was an unfortunate delay on one special order, but they provide a mobile number to order ahead as well as takeaway for meals or fresh frozen fish.

A local barbecue joint with very good roast chicken. The service is good and timely. You can catch some football, while enjoying your favourite alcoholic beverage while listening to some good music. My favourite is the Carribbean Connect reggae on Sundays with Dj Its Jeffrey Jeff

Very well spaced/spacious. Covid rules and regulations well implemented and followed. The staff are well trained and mannered. The chefs should Please put a touch on the meals,they come blund and warm. Parking is in plenty and safe.

I went there specifically to experience the glass floors but in the end we were not allowed to access the glass floors. It’s a vegetarian restaurant and I had to order for super veg pizza coz it’s what I understood on the menu. I loved the pineapple toppings on the pizza. For drinks I took; Virgin French Kiss, Tropical Shake and Virgin Passion Mojito. I only loved the virgin french kiss. The service from Elvis was excellent. Ambience & aesthetics 6/7.

Food quality is very poor. Ordered a spicy bean burger and Chili garlic noodles. The noodles were tossed in tomato ketchup and the spicy bean burger had spicy from all over the world’s no food balance. The pasta full of cream no flavor.

Here's my honest review as a vegan for fellow vegans who might be reading this: I was not impressed when I visited 2 years ago, I decided to give it a shot one more time, and I'm still extremely disappointed. First, the food is just ok and there are so many other places that serve better vegan food especially for the price(check the app HappyCow). Second, the staff are STILL CONFUSED with the term vegetarian and vegan just like 2 years ago! The first server who took our order said everything from the restaurant is vegan to which I said that's not true because they serve eggs, cheese, and cow's milk. I then asked her if she knows the difference between vegan and vegetarian to which she immediately said no. The second server came to take an extra order and he also said everything from the restaurant is vegan because there's no meat involved. Not knowing the difference is one thing(it often happens in Kenya but usually not at veg restaurants), but telling the customers the menu is fully vegan is another. The staff are very friendly but are extremely under trained and misinformed. I wouldn't be surprised if there's hidden milk, butter, or eggs even when certain food from the menu sounds like vegan because the staff here are just confused. You definitely have to ask every single ingredient before you order to make sure it's vegan. Maybe one can come here for a drink if really curious about the view, but I can't particularly recommend this place to dine in for vegans unless the owner or the manager really become serious about staff training.

Scammers !! I ordered veg pie that had no vegetables in it and came broken I ordered masala poha that had no poha and got a poorly some over saucy bhel puri How can you cheat customers like this ? Shame on you . Money is hard earned by everyone .

I was excited to try out different vegan dishes and take nice pictures with the view of the city. Unfortunately the menu was mostly vegetarian and I doubt the burger had either mayonnaise or dairy in it… Apparently you cannot access the balcony and it’s closed…

Authentic traditional Kenyan food. The restaurant staff are pleasant and the best part is the variety of dishes that are served. Waiting time is about 10-20 minutes, depending on your order. Highly recommended

26th:12:2024; Kienyeji (James Gichuru branch) management cant keep riding on that *understaffed* bull all the time. How do you have 1 cook, a 2 burner and 1 waiter to serve a table of 11? And the waiter without a flinch tells you the meals ordered will be ready in 15mins 50mins later orders come in partially. Mara ugali is being made. So you're left with the stew hapo for 20mins waiting. That was the most annoying experience we've seen. And you wonder why clients disappear on you. Get your act in order. There are so many graduates who are looking for jobs.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Tilapia dipped in coconut sauce. Derrick was of great service I must say.👏 If you prefer an outdoor seating there's a nicely lit serene small garden shared amongst all the food and drink courts. Their brown is ugali, wild mushrooms and matumbo fry are quite sth too. 😋

Common seating area, shared with other restaurants 1332-1345Hrs: Attention seeking for service period: After much glancing around to get attention of their waiters, I dispacth not one but two of the waiters of nearby restaurant (I thank you) to call for me Kienyeji's waiter (by this time I am almost done with a drink from this neighbouring restaurant) 1345Hrs: Finally got a waiter. Placed order and asked how long it will take. A promise of 10mins is made 1350: Another drink order made in nearby restaurant 1430Hrs: The promised 10min order arrives. Waiter on seeing my not so amused face - " I have even checked, and I realise I have really delayed you. I think next time please pre order". I also request for fork and knife 1442Hrs: Fork and knife arrive. I am almost done with the meal having washed my hands nearby and waiter simply walks back with the fork and knife. I also needed salt, but the nearby restaurant also had to come to the rescue (I thank you again). 1450Hrs: My terrible experience comes to a quiet end. Exhausted and sad You guys can do better. Not recommended if you are in a hurry or hungry. I will be back to the nearby restaurant.
