Located in a fantastic waterfront location, Salty Pelican Bar & Grill is an open-air seafood restaurant that offers stunning views of the Amelia River. Established in 2012 by experienced individuals from the island's hospitality industry, it has become a convivial gathering place known for its delicious and reasonably priced food. The menu includes a variety of dishes such as spicy pelican wings and tuna tacos. Visitors can also enjoy live music and Sunday brunch at this popular spot.
The wife and I go out every weekend to eat. We looked on google maps to find a good seafood restaurant. We found the Salty Pelican. The wife had the shrimp plate with pasta salad and cherry limeade,I had the surf and turf with fries and a beer, our sever Natalie she was excellent. All the food was delicious. We recommend this restaurant for a weekend day.

My wife and I enjoyed the food that we ordered. We got the chicken wings with mild sauce. The best wings we had in awhile. Of course, the onion rings were great and homemade. Also, the shrimp poboy. The shrimp was so fresh that I could taste the salt from the ocean on it. The Cuban sandwich with bacon jam was so good. I can't wait to go back. The ambiance and the atmosphere of the Salty Pelican is delightful.

This is a very fun restaurant with Key West vibes. We were seated on the lower level and immediately greeted by our waiter. All the food was fresh and tasty. I had the fried oyster and shrimp platter with vegetables- it was very good. My wife had the shrimp tacos and liked them very much. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but it was Friday night so that may have been a part of that. It is free, however.

Not sure why I’ve never checked this place out being that I don’t live far at all, but we finally decided to check it out and it was AMAZING. The food was so good, and our waitress Reeze absolutely deserves to be recognized! She was so nice, and attentive. We ordered fried green tomatoes (fried to perfection) and Philly Egg Rolls (sooo good) for our appetizers. For our meals, my wife ordered the Lobster Roll, our son got the cheeseburger with Mac and cheese, and I ordered steak with shrimp. It was all so good! They were busy (but it is tourist season) however our wait wasn’t too awful long. The inside of the restaurant was clean. We will 100% be back.
Robert R — Google review
Enjoyed the Thursday special of 'Prime Rib Night' with my Mom while visiting the island. The potatoes pair really nicely with the juicy prime rib. The drinks were also very good and made with fresh berries, mint, and lime. All of the waitresses/waiters were attentive and friendly. We sat in the outdoor eating area and enjoyed the view of the water. Inside was a bit hard to hear because it was quite lively, so if you prefer to have a more low-key experience, I would recommend sitting outside
Lillie M — Google review
We had the best dinner here while watching the sunset directly in front of us. Sitting upstairs was key for this experience. Large portions so consider sharing. We all had different fish and it was sooo good.
Mel G — Google review
10/10 experience! 1:30 pm on a Sunday and only a 10 minute wait, very prompt service and they do text conformations so you know you’re in line and when your table is ready. Service was great and the server was knowledgeable on the food, catch of the day was red drum and it was amazing! Appetizer of choice was Brussel Sprouts - perfect!!! Drinks were a great price and food came out quickly even though the place was packed. We will be back soon!!
Sarah S — Google review
Beautiful place for sunset views! If available, sit upstairs, clear view of the marina and west. As expected/required, excellent seafood options, particularly the crab cakes.

Seafood restaurant
Timoti's Seafood Shak is a popular spot on Amelia Island known for its fresh, wild-caught seafood and casual outdoor patio. Located in historic Fernandina, this simple shack offers a variety of sea-source fare including crab burgers, fish tacos, fried shrimp, and poke. Families will appreciate the on-site playground while enjoying their meals.
Quick and easy! No frills, walk up and look at the menu, then order. I had the T’s Wrap with blackened shrimp was great, that could be a daily eat! Also, I ordered the fired oyster basket (it’s my thing growing up in South Louisiana) and they were cook to perfection (not dry and too crispy)! The better half had the Tuna Poke and she was pleased. One teen had the Chopped Salad box and the other fried chicken fingers. Great job and we will be back. !
Christian D — Google review
Lunch was great! Fresh ingredients and large portions. We had the rice box with cauliflower rice and grilled fish and the chopped salad with grilled fish. My wife and I both thought our meals were very good! The dog friendly patio is what drew us in as we were traveling with our dog. Highly recommend!
Mike J — Google review
This is a great casual place to get delicious and simple seafood favorites. I'm in town with my wife and stepdaughter for the half marathon. We chose Timoti's based on some Google research. The only seating it outside, but there is cover in the event of rain. We all loved their hush puppies, cucumber salad and soup. Our sandwiches and plates were hearty and filling. I highly recommend trying this local spot if you're in the area.

We visit the island often from Maryland - we eat here several times each visit! Great food and service. The shrimp tacos are amazing & so are the fried green tomatoes. Casual friendly atmosphere that welcomes all including dogs & kiddos.
Christine A — Google review
Found Timotis on the internet, reviews sounded good liked the pictures. We were sadly disappointed. Lobster roll was the absolutely worst I have had, I am not sure it was even lobster. Wife had grilled/blackened shrimp, just ok. I have to say the beer was COLD, which is good.
Edward W — Google review
This is THE place on Amelia for fried shrimp, amazing hush puppies. Poke Tuna is fantastic. Can get crowded but worth the wait.
Todd J — Google review
We came about 15 minutes before closing because friends were there and wanted us to come. It was very cold out and I didn’t want to be “that person” taking too long to order right before closing, so I asked how the New England clam chowder was, and I was told “very good” by the girl behind the counter, so I went for a bowl. My husband ordered the fried shrimp basket. I was disappointed they put my soup in a paper cup and put it on the tray while my husband’s food was cooking. I also didn’t realize it was outside seating only. My disappointment continued when I took off the lid of my now cooling soup and could see visually it was not remotely New England style clam chowder, but didn’t even have a chowder consistency. I just decided to just eat it anyway and was shocked how tasty it was! I ate every last drop enjoying every bite! No, it didn’t taste like New England clam chowder either, but there was a lot of fresh clam in it and none were chewy. It was an extremely tasty clam soup, for sure! My husband’s shrimp basket looked liked really nice sized shrimp, perfectly done. I didn’t try them, but he said they were fresh and delicious. The fries were possibly fresh cut fries, but good regardless. The staff were very friendly still checking on us even though it was after they were closed. I would definitely come back.
Dawn W — Google review
My family and I visited this place on August 22, 2024. We ordered the Shrimp Basket - Grilled, Poke Bowl, Rice Box - with Fried Fish, and Chicken Strips Basket. The food was excellent, the Ahi Tuna being my favorite as it was very buttery in texture and fresh. The service was also terrific! And it didn't take more than maybe 6 minutes for the food to come out. Really enjoyed this restaurant and would love to come back in the future!

T-Rays Burger Station is a unique dining spot located in Amelia Island, housed in a historic building that used to be a Standard Oil full-service fueling station. This funky diner is renowned for its down-home breakfasts and lunches, particularly its juicy and perfectly made burgers. The restaurant's quirky mismatched decor adds to its charm. T-Rays has gained recognition as one of the best burger joints in America and continues to attract both tourists and locals.
We came down for a short weekend, trip on memorial day weekend 2024 found this place on TikTok and Google. The customer service service is absolutely 10 out of 10. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the environment and atmosphere was amazing. Everything was super clean. the food is absolutely to die for my wife and I had a absolutely wonderful breakfast Hats off to the owners we wish and prosper business. Thanks for the memories.

We've eaten here several times since moving to the area. It was recommended by a local while walking on the beach. The food is delicious. The ladies and staff are super sweet. We love eating outside. If we want lunch we have learned to come in around 11a. They take your name and invite you to a drink while you wait. For those who are complaining, this is island time. Chill out. Relax and slow down. This isn't the drive thru at a fast food joint. This is our go to. Today, the fish sandwich was delish as well as the salad with grilled Mahi. Hubby had the hot dogs. We've also had breakfast and equally delicious. Try it out.

Repurposed gas station that makes some of the best black eyed peas I have ever eaten (and I have lived all over the south). Many places don’t know how to make good collards. OMG delicious here! I don’t know where to start with the fried chicken. You get a choice between white or dark meat. I prefer dark because it’s more flavorful and usually moist. Home run at T-Rays! The rest of the table had white and all enjoyed it. The broccoli salad was perfect as was the slaw. Small container but definitely delicious. I almost forgot the delicious biscuits!!! Recommend this place to everyone. Don’t let the exterior put you off. The dive exterior belays the Gastro delight inside. I want to go back and try the shrimp. I overheard a client talking about the delicious hush puppies.

Great service, delicious burger. Sweet tea was good too. Line was long when I walked in but I didn't wait more than 7 minutes or so. My food was brought to my table in 10 minutes you
Michelle R — Google review
This is by far the best place to get a hamburger, as well as fried clams, and many other specials. We always enjoy going there. They have outdoor seating, which is great. If you have a puppy dog. The lines can get long, so you can always order ahead.
Bill C — Google review
Googled places to eat in Fernadina Beach, and this one came up. The concept of it being an old gas station appealed to us, so we stopped. We were not disappointed. Old station with picnic tables outside. I thought parking was going to be an issue, but it wasn't. Yes, as we entered, we saw the long line, but as others have stated, it goes quick. You could tell there were many locals there, so that's always a good sign. The food was really good and at reasonable prices. I saw food on plates that I didn't see on the menu, so it looks like I missed looking at the daily specials. Overall, nice little spot. Would definitely stop again, when in the area, to try different menu items.
Bethzaida C — Google review
I went to this restaurant over 10 years ago and was wondering if it was still open. We still talk about this place. This was the best burger I've ever eaten and it's yet to be topped. Not surprised to see that it's still open. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a burger.
Edgardo C — Google review
Very good! This place is so cute and I love how they made the food business out of a old gas station! The kids meal is a pretty good price for only 6$. We got chicken tenders, fries, and a drink on the kids meal. Then, I got the little T burger combo which was a normal size burger and I was very surprised. It was 3$ less than the other bigger burger and it had 2 burger patties. Overall, this place was very creative and delicious! I recommend this place for people who are traveling and want to grab some sit down food that you will enjoy.

The Patio at 5th and Ash is a charming restaurant in Fernandina Beach that offers a relaxed atmosphere and delicious casual American cuisine.
One of the best restaurants on the island. The live music was great and the atmosphere was super cool. Eating under the oaks with the twinkling lights is amazing. I got the goat cheese burger with fries and it’s easily the best burger I’ve had on Amelia island. Truly one of one. My only complaint is that we ordered a pretzel appetizer and it never came out. But our main courses were big enough so we didn’t go hungry. Overall I’d recommend a visit for sure
Grant W — Google review
This restaurant is a casual and cozy spot with great lunch and dinner entrees, including a great cocktail list, appetizers and desserts. We arrived between 3 and 6PM, when most appetizers, wines and beers are half price. A must to try is their drunken cheesy bread and tomato bisque soup. Our grouper sandwiches ( blackened) were large and tasty while the crab cakes had plenty of crab and little breading. The berry and beet salads were top notch. This is a popular spot in Amelia Island so don't pass it up when in town.
Charles C — Google review
My husband and I came here based on reviews, and were very happy we did. We arrived just before opening at 11am, and were seated promptly. Our waitress (Kim) immediately gave us her recommendations and we chose one, the CBR flatbread. I was going to choose something else but went with it, and Im so glad I did, becuase it was so delicious. It wasnt greasy and had so much flavor. My husband chose the French Dip, and he was very pleased with his choice. The meatball sharables were very good as well, and again so much flavor! We will definitely be coming back to try the dinner menu! We were very much satisfied with our food, and service!
Lyia B — Google review
We will not be back. We had the most confusing experience at this restaurant. Our waitress got our check wrong 4 times. She didn’t know the specials or the prices. When asked if the pesto had tree nuts in it she replied with “no real nuts”. Someone dumped dog water in a plant behind my father and it splashed on him. The crab cakes were subpar at best. The roll with the chicken salad was hard and stale. The meatball sandwich was the only decent meal there. We saw pizza boxes going out constantly with no pizza on the menu. A ladies dog obnoxiously barked at the table next to us for 10 minutes. It was not great.
Adam S — Google review
My husband and I decided to have lunch here based on the online reviews and were so glad that we did! I got the wedge and it was huge with way more toppings than your usual wedge but absolutely delicious! My husband got the garlic muscles and loved them! We sat outside by request and the outdoor area has lots of shade. Would definitely go back!
Amy H — Google review
Top tier choice on Amelia Island. Absolutely lovely outdoor seating (it’s in the name), relaxed & welcoming vibe. Food was terrific, servers couldn’t have been more hospitable. Waits for a table can be long, but it’s popular for good reason.
Todd J — Google review
This place was absolutely amazing, my husband and I went out with some friends to catch up. For a party of 6 on a Saturday night we only waited about 35 minutes for our table. Service was phenomenal and the food was so yummy. I ordered the reddish and my husband got the pork chop. We will definitely be back!

It was still warm outdoors, yet we had dinner with out Black Lab laying down beside us. Had the Cheesy Bread, wife had the Delmonico with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli. I had the Blackened Redfish over Cheese Grits and a Cajun Sauce. Excellent service and fantastic food.

Spanish restaurant
España Restaurant & Tapas is a charming eatery located in Fernandina Beach's historic downtown area. The restaurant offers a cozy dining experience with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Specializing in traditional Spanish cuisine, the menu features an array of regional specialties such as expertly crafted paellas made with imported ingredients and following authentic recipes.
Enjoyed authentic Spanish tapas on our first visit here. The menu has plenty of interesting offerings. The fried calamari was perfect. Nice ambiance and the service was excellent. Outdoor dining is available -- there seemed to be more outdoor tables than indoor. Reservations recommended.

We are for the first time here for my birthday dinner out of town from Ocala. Michael was our server who’s worked there for 12 years. His service was exceptional! He was so knowledgeable and down to earth. We truly enjoyed him he completed the entire España experience!!!! We will come back just to enjoy this and him again!! You must try this wonderful gem!
Stacy T — Google review
This is the ONLY MUST on Amelia Island. Everything we had was impeccable. The Portuguese Fisherman's Stew is heavenly. The Tapas are excellent. The service, the best we have experienced on the island. The price is reasonable for a vacation spot and the price is fantastic for the quality of food. The presentation is also exemplary as is evidenced in the pictures. If you are on Amelia Island and do not come here, you have missed one of, if not the best restaurant on the island.

Great variety of food ( see menu) . We had some tapas and the Paella Marinera. Better than the paella we had in Lisbon on a food tour!! Perfect portion for two. Everything was fresh and service was timely. The restaurant seems to go out of their way to accommodate special food requests . ( overheard at nearby table) q Our waiter Eddie was delightful and did not over sell or rush us . Lovely indoor and outdoor seating. We made reservations day of on a holiday weekend but for 4pm. Great mid day meal!

Such amazing service our waiter Eddie was so friendly and had a great personality and his recommendations were superb. The food was amazing you can tell the chef has passion and everything was freshly made. The outdoor patio area was perfect and welcoming such a wonderful way to end a beautiful Saturday.

We had the pleasure of having dinner here and it was amazing! Michael was our server and he was so nice and attentive, the food was amazing. Visiting from Georgia and Texas for our yearly family reunion and Georgia vs Florida game. Thank you for a wonderful evening and highly recommend them, Go Dawgs!

First, be patient for parking, parking is a premium in all of downtown. Our servers were Ashley our waitresses and Casey who was part of the bus staff. Drinks were always full and clean plates cleared without being requested. I know some restaurants reward their employees when they get mentioned in a review and I hope Espaná does and if not, maybe they should consider it. Ambiance was nice, with both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside as we had been out in the sun all day and wanted a cool place to sit. But you want to know about the food: Wine/beer/drinks - wine, beer, soft drinks, teas and house made Sangria. Scallops Ole - my favorite fish of the night, Panko covered scallops in a phenomenal sauce. Order bread with it do you can get all of the sauce. They cut the scallops in half, so you only get two full scallops and four total bites. Ceviche - fantastic, my wife’s favorite of the night. Stew - hmm, filled with clams, mussels, octopus, shrimp and a host of veggies. Loved the ingredients but it was very salty, not so salty you cannot eat it, but on the verge. Probably would not order this dish again. No room for dessert. Again wonderful service, great wine and beer menu, and the food is incredible.

Seafood restaurant
Salt Life Food Shack is a vibrant and lively spot with a surf-themed atmosphere, offering an assorted menu featuring seafood, sushi, tacos, and burgers. For an exquisite dining experience, Salt Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island presents seasonal New American cuisine in an award-winning setting. Overlooking the Atlantic ocean, Salt Life provides a diverse selection of specialty dishes such as poke bowls with unique flavors.
Salt Life Food Shack draws you in with its colorful and unique exterior by the water. Inside the restaurant, there is seating with a full bar. Well designed and just as beautiful. If you're looking for a casual date night or family night out, this is a fun place to dine. There is live entertainment which changes daily. We sat indoors, which was nicely air conditioned, and first level outdoors, which was a bit loud but fun. I visited this restaurant two times while vacationing in the area. Reservations are not permitted. You join a wait list inside the restaurant unless you become a VIP, which gives you certain privileges. We waited 30 minutes and five the next visit. The girls who manage the seating are really worker bees! Good job, girls! The team here works well together. 🏆 Food seems to be consistent, and both the fish and steak tacos are extremely delicious. I loved the guacamole. Taco salad needs improvement as I found it to be lacking in flavor. My teen loved the crab spinach dip with chips, and the seafood boil was good. It just needed a touch more seaoning. The warm cookie with ice cream was shared, and very tasty. All meals are platted so nicely. Drinks are tasty and arrive quickly.😋 A 2 minute walk from the beach, or there is plenty of parking. While you're there, check out the beautiful fish tank featured on Tanked. 🐟🐠 🎶

Great location! Excellent views, good drink selection and excellent food menu! What more could one want in a seaside 2 story restaurant with ocean views? Live music? Yep! Plenty of parking? Yessir! Friendly staff? Absolutely! Great breeze from the outside second floor deck? For sure! Enjoyed the food, the ambiance, tge views, the friendly service, and the decor! Told them it was my birthday and the put me in the best seat with awesome views!!

Food, service and ambience were all great. My son and hubby shared the seafood boil, and I had the smoked salmon. Both were delicious and quite filling. Mark ordered a whiskey sour and I decided to go with a beer - Stella, while our son had a Shirley temple. The wind from the ocean chilled us some as we sat upstairs, but they lit the lanterns for warmth. Incredible view of the sea, great seating on the roof top terrance, and our server was such a delightful young lady. Overall, a great experience.

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant is just perfect. The seating area inside has stylish and comfortable seating options. The upper balcony offers excellent views of the ocean. I'm still sitting at the restaurant writing this review because my food was so delicious. I got the chili lime mahi with roasted vegetables.

By far my favorite place for food, service, and atmosphere in Fernandina. Love eating by the beach. Their sushi and mahi tacos are always my go to but it was my birthday and I decided to do my favorite food crab legs so I went with the crab boil and it didn’t disappoint! Our server was great & he grabbed the whole team to wish me a birthday! Can’t forget the live bands always adding to the vibes. Keep up the good work!

Love this place so much. Exceptional service and food is incredible. We came in tonight with a very large group (four families with 3+ kids each) and although they were hesitant to seat us - one of the servers got us seated right away and had such a sweet way of taking orders and treated our kids well. Thank you unnamed server, you know who you are!!! God bless 🫶

Absolutely amazing experience here. Mom and I had the filet mignon, and split the crème brûlée. The food was SO good, filet was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. Loved the little extra touches to the meal like the baby macaroons after, and the bread and little hors d'oeuvre. And our server Gina was so lovely!! They followed our dietary guidelines perfectly, which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely fantastic—every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. We highly recommend trying the scallops; they were a highlight of the meal! Overall, a wonderful evening and we’ll definitely be returning soon. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

We went for happy hour. Cocktails were phenomenal. The Amelia Martini was the favorite of the table. We ordered the ceviche of the day (tuna), two salads, risotto, and oxtail pappardelle. This was a great experience for a discounted happy hour price - will be back.

Had a wonderful experience celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary last evening. The food was delicious, the service was efficient, and the atmosphere was very well done. We had the ceviche (wish the portion was larger), gnocchi with an oxtail ragu, and dover sole (it was butter). Javier in the bar was very friendly and professional. All in all, it could not have been much better.

The atmosphere at David’s was warm, private, and romantic — the perfect setting for our first anniversary dinner. The softly lit dining room created an intimate, elegant feel, while still being relaxed enough to make the evening feel personal and comfortable. If meals are served in heaven, the Chilean sea bass at David’s Restaurant will definitely be on the menu. The presentation alone was stunning — a perfectly seared filet with a golden caramelized glaze. The first bite revealed a crisp, delicate exterior that gave way to buttery, melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Paired with silky truffle Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, vibrant grilled asparagus, and a bright, velvety lemon beurre blanc, every component on the plate worked together in perfect harmony. Once that perfect blend of flavors hits your palate, you find yourself wanting it to linger for as long as possible. The filet mignon was equally remarkable. Served with a rich, earthy risotto, the tenderloin was cooked flawlessly — perfectly seared on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The creamy risotto soaked up the flavor of the meat and sauce, creating a decadent, luxurious bite every time. The plating was as elegant as the taste — a picture-perfect dish that was almost too beautiful to eat. The staff was amazing and to make the evening even more special, David — the chef and owner — personally stepped out of the kitchen to congratulate us on our anniversary. That warm, thoughtful gesture turned an already exceptional dining experience into a truly unforgettable memory. If you are looking for an intimate, elevated dining experience with extraordinary flavors and heartfelt service, David’s is a must-visit. We will absolutely be back.

David’s is one of the nicer, fine dining locations in Fernandina Beach. If you are vacationing on the South End of the island, David’s is worth the drive into town for a farewell vacation dinner or special night out. Our table was fortunate to order a menu special, and be served by chef David Echeverri in-person. You can tell the love and passion chef Echeverri puts into his dishes. The table was also served with a delicious, hand-crafted amuse-bouche. The cocktails were well-crafted and you could tell the passion the bartender put into his drinks. Be forewarned, however, David’s trends on the pricer side, but if you are looking for a lovely date night or private party location (David’s has some intimate private party rooms) David’s is the worth the trip, no matter where you are on the island. I would recommend reservations as it can fill-up quite quickly.

David’s is an oasis of refined elegance, where every dish feels like a culinary masterpiece. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by crisp white linens and a sense of anticipation for what’s to come. We kicked off our journey with the melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and the perfectly charred Grilled Octopus, both of which set the bar high. Paired with Caesar salads that had just the right amount of tang and freshly baked breads, it was clear that attention to detail is at the heart of this kitchen. For the main event, one of us chose the luxurious King Crab special, while the rest of us dove into the decadent Filet Oscar—each bite more satisfying than the last. We wrapped up this unforgettable meal with velvety Creme Brûlée and smooth lattes, a sweet finish to a perfect evening. Every dish felt like it was crafted with a creative touch and a sense of culinary adventure. David’s isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to savor.

Great service and great food! King crab is not on the menu, but when we asked the waitress she then asked the chef and came back with a positive answer! Good that we asked, it was great!

Hola Cuban Cafe is a vibrant Cuban restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for a satisfying breakfast or a flavorful lunch, this eatery has you covered. Indulge in their breakfast empanadas and fluffy scrambled eggs paired with a steaming cup of coffee to kickstart your day. For lunch, savor authentic Cuban sandwiches and pastries made with fresh, slow-roasted meats cooked in-house.
Authentic Cuban fare by a Cuban service team. 5 stars for the warm welcome, for the delicious hot food as well as coffee, and especially for the ambiance. It is a small establishment with both indoor and outdoor seating. Well decorated interior with boho vibes. I absolutely love empanadas; I ordered 3, one of chicken, beef and spinach. My son was excited about the Cuban sandwich. Both were served piping hot as expected. We were given free desert, which was incredibly delicious We tried the Cuban soda and coffee, my husband and I gave the service lady a thumbs up.

Staff were very friendly here. Indoor seating is very limited. The outdoor seating is more plentiful. Everyone enjoyed their meal. A couple of us had pressed cuban sandwiches. They were definitely very good, but not necessarily the best I have ever had. Drinks are basically cans or bottles unless you get a custom drink. Would recommend as it was authentic Cuban food. The black beans were stated to be a family recipe.

This place is a hidden gem in Fernandina Beach! The pork is super tasty, black beans are a family recipe, and itshowed. The cuban sandwich was super tasty. We also ordered the tostones & matures (plantains) Very happy about the family owned & local vibe this cafe offers. Will be back next time I'm in town.

Stopped by after a long morning event when their sign out front caught my eye. I decided to try the Cuban sandwich, and it did not disappoint—absolutely delicious. The woman at the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great stop and one I’d definitely recommend!

The coffee, food, & service was fantastic! We were immediately greeted by a very friendly employee, and our order was brought out quickly. The coffee was amazing, as was the food (churros, black beans & rice). My only (minor) complaint is that the coffee was served in styrofoam cups. Otherwise, well worth the visit!

A classic Cuban cafe! The barista was very nice and welcoming. The cafe con leche had the right blend of sweet and bitter and the empanadas hit the spot. The music was on point as well. Check out this cozy spot!

Located in Fernandina Beach, Down Under Restaurant is a beloved spot for seafood and Southern comfort food. Situated by the marina, diners can enjoy indoor-outdoor seating with views of local wildlife like birds, alligators, and sea turtles. The relaxed atmosphere under the bridge to Amelia Island makes it perfect for casual dining, sunset watching, and live music on the deck.
I love this place. It's always fantastic. We live a little over an hour away, so we've only ever gone when I have doc appointments down there, but I think we're going to just start going! That's how good it is. I don't like driving 20 minutes to go to the store! But I'll drive an hour+ for that seafood platter, that crab cake, and those down under oysters!! 😋

A great atmosphere with “old Florida” fish camp charm on the Amelia River. The food is good with a simple menu. The appetizer Wings and their homemade sauce blew us away with the perfect balance of sweet and spicy with a hint of smoke. The live music was fun and the sets were a win. Shout out to the band for loaning their bug spray, hint hint. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful even when stretched thin, this place is very popular.

We arrived late, 9:00; they close at 10:00 but, we were greeted with open arms. The fried shrimp was so fresh and plump. Crab dip was very good; personally I prefer toast points over the homemade chips. My husband loved the oysters Rockefeller, decent size. The manager checked in with us; everyone was very pleasant, especially our server, Trudy. They made you feel appreciated. The salt water aquarium was amazing and very entertaining. We're from Georgia and we love Fernandina. Down Under is our new favorite seafood restaurant!!
Kathy W — Google review
Service was good, prompt and friendly but the food was nothing to write home about. The food came out like luke warm to cold. The fried oysters were cold and the fried breading was soggy. The “heaping seafood platter for 2 was less than heaping, cold, as lack luster a seafood dinner as I have ever had. Not worth the money or time for a nice dinner out. A frozen seafood dinner would have been better. The baked potato and sweet potato side dishes were the stars of the meal and they came out too cold to melt the butter they put on top. Look elsewhere if you don’t want to be disappointed.

Absolutely phenomenal food. Some of the best seafood I've ever had. The fried oysters are good, but the fried scallops are incredible. Catch of the day when I visited was cariba, a sea bass. I got it grilled with lemon butter, and it was honestly unbelievably good.

We ordered the seafood platter for 2. Fried oysters were cold and soggy. Grilled shrimp were ok. Fish was dry and barely warm. Scallops tasted odd and barely warm. Even the hush puppies were overcooked. On a positive note, our server was attentive, but we would not return

Love this place - waterfront location under the bridge makes you feel like you found a private club! very atmospheric waterfront seating indoors and outside! wait staff so helpful and friendly! menu with all types of seafood delights! best of all - the She Crab Soup, full of crab meat, well seasoned, none of that gloppy floury mess that so many places serve. We also had salads that were well made and large - ended up taking some home.
Laura — Google review
A great place to eat, a little difficult to navigate to as it's under the bridge but worth the trip. We had fish and chips and the crab cake dinner. Both dishes were hot and tasty. I heard someone say the crab cakes were the best she ever tasted. Fish and chips were both crispy, excellent! I got a side of cheese grits, I'm not going to say they were also great but I did lick the bowl clean... Bring your appetite and relax, live band was playing on the dock.

Nestled along the picturesque intracoastal waterway of Amelia Island, Shucker's Oyster Bar & Grill is a vibrant eatery that seafood lovers simply cannot overlook. Renowned for its fresh oysters, this lively restaurant also boasts an impressive menu featuring a variety of seafood dishes, including their delectable catch of the day available grilled, fried, or blackened. A standout favorite is their Shrimp & Grits, which delivers a delightful kick reminiscent of Southern cuisine.
This restaurant is truly incredible! Our fishing charter captain from AC Charters recommended it, mentioning that they would cook our freshly caught fish for a very small fee. George and his staff prepared it to perfection, taking great pride in the finished product . We even had enough to share with the staff since there was more than we could eat! Located right on the water, the restaurant offers stunning views that make the experience even better. Sadly, we’re heading out in a couple of days, but we’ll definitely be back the next time we visit beautiful Amelia Island!

We stopped in for lunch and were for the most part very pleased. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The owner even took the time to ask us if we were enjoying ourselves. My husband ordered the burger that was typical for this type of restaurant. He was asked how he would like it cooked and medium was his answer. It was definitely well done and a little dry. The mayo and mustard packets were placed on top of the open faced burger which turned us off a little thinking about how many hands had touched those packets prior. I ordered the sesame crusted tuna salad. The portion was of good size. The tuna should have been seared longer as there was no white showing at all. The tuna was also sliced very thick. I would have been happy with half the tuna that was provided sliced a lot thinner. The garlic parmesan oysters were phenomenal!!

Shuckers is a must-try! We visited on a Saturday night around 6:30, and while parking was a bit of a challenge on the side road, it was understandable given the time. We were seated outside immediately with live music, which created a great vibe. For our meals, my dad and I both got the combo. I opted for blackened oysters, fish nuggets, and shrimp, while he had the fried version. Everything was amazing, but the blackened oysters were the standout – even better than the fried! It's a shame you can only choose one style for the combo, as I would have loved a mix. Our sides included mac n cheese, sweet potato fries, cheese grits, and coleslaw. All were tasty, though my dad noted that the coleslaw was on the sweeter side, which might not be for everyone. Other members of our party enjoyed the fried shrimp, catch of the day (flounder) sandwich, apple feta salad, and gumbo, and everyone seemed very satisfied. The only downside was a bit of a wait for silverware (around 5 minutes), which meant our food started to cool down slightly. However, our server was clearly very busy and seemed to be working without much help, so it wasn't his fault. Overall, the delicious food and lively atmosphere more than made up for the minor issue. We'll definitely be back!

This was our first time eating here and I guess we made it in before the lunch crowd. At 11:30 am the parking lot was so empty we thought they were closed, by the time we came out at 12:30, the place was packed. Nice clean place with a beautiful view if you sit outside and friendly staff. Who we assumed to be the owner was in attendance and as he made his way through the now crowded restaurant he stopped at almost every table to ask if they were enjoying themselves which was a nice touch. Our issues with the food were minor. Condiment packets placed on top of my open faced burger and her seared tuna salad was a bit under seared and the slices were very thick. Other than those things, this was a nice place to stop for lunch and we will probably stop back again.

We loved it here! The views are incredible, there was even live music. Our server was Julieta, and she was fantastic and so friendly and helpful. Very attentive and checked in often. We got raw oysters, crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, hush puppies, mashed potatoes, fried okra and key lime pie. Every single thing we ate tasted amazing. I love oysters, but these ones were certainly the best. Generally, I do not like shrimp, but I tried these and I have changed my mind. We almost ordered more! I’m not for sure, but all around the restaurant there are oyster beds. I’d assume that’s where they harvest, which is pretty cool.

For the seafood lovers of the region who want a relaxing and delicious meal you simply need to make time to enjoy Shuckers! My travels led me to the area and I had always wanted to visit but this time I did. The first contact was with a beautiful lady who greeted me with a smile and allowed me to pick a seat. I chose outside in the shade with an amazing view of the water. It was low tide so you could see the oyster beds. It’s gorgeous here. Then Rob began by welcoming me to his place and telling me of the special of the day but as great as it sounded, I had OYSTER on my mind. Lol. He quickly brought me to the pinochle of my journey with a dozen raw chilled fresh large oysters 🦪. Followed by a Mango Daiquiri. Awesome! As I was leaving town I unfortunately couldn’t really get out of hand with the food so I ordered the Poke bowl and two dozen to go. I was the Hero when I got home and my wife who loves oysters like me enjoyed the treasures from the sea. She’s also part mermaid 🧜‍♀️ so I had that going for me Big shout out to my buddy Rob and the whole crew for a great lunch and super memorable day. We will be back soon! Arrrgggg😉🏴‍☠️

Brent is an absolute legend as a server! He went above and beyond to explain the menu to us and made sure to answer every question we had! Every dish he recommended was absolutely amazing! The out door seating and live music was such an amazing option to have! The outdoor playground for the kids is a plus! My daughter played on the playground the whole time we were there before and after eating her meal. If I could give this establishment 10 stars I would! 5 would be for our server Brent and the other 5 would be for the establishment and food!

Sliders Seaside Grill is a charming 2-story restaurant located at 1998 South Fletcher Ave. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with stunning views of Fernandina Beach, making it a popular spot since the 1940s. The menu features delectable dishes such as crab cakes, seared ahi tuna, fresh oysters, and shrimp scampi. Guests can also enjoy happy hour drink specials at one of the three lively tiki bars from Monday to Thursday.
So it's our first time here and the 4 for service is only due to it taking 15minutes after we where seated for someone to come over. Aside from that our waitress was incredible. The food was really good I ordered crab cakes and I will say these are probably some of the best I've eaten filled with crab meat not like many places where they sre 90% filler 10% crab meat, and the lobster bisque was on point. Will definitely return.

Had an excellent breakfast and lunch here on our first visits. The Oyster Po-Boy was delicious with fresh bread and an abundance of fried oysters. Service was excellent. The location is great, being on the beach. And, it was nice dining on the covered balcony with a nice view of the ocean.

The best experience on our trip to the area. The food was phenomenal. My creole flounder topped with a crab cake over potatoes and andouille sausage was amazing. A great value anywhere at $26, yet alone an oceanfront restaurant. The fried shrimp, fried chicken tenders, and hush puppies are exactly what a true north Floridian would want. It’s as true to southern seafood as it gets anywhere in the south. The owners recipe for the pineapple cream cheese side is out of this world. Our server Erin was awesome. She was attentive and made us feel right at home. Every recommendation she made was spot on. Most importantly, she made sure our daughter’s allergies were avoided while still having a great experience. This place is a true gem. The kids had a blast on the playground and we enjoyed the live music even more. My only regret is I wish we had more time to stay.

Touristy spot (complete with all sorts of souvenir drink cups). Location and views cannot be beat, true oceanfront location. Some tasty food options, crab cakes and just puppies. Service while generally efficient, isn’t always that friendly, a little over stretched.

The crispy and well-seasoned fries are a crowd favorite. Additionally, the restaurant features fresh local seafood options and supports local fishermen and farmers.

We recently hosted a large (24 people), casual group dinner at Tasty's and it was amazing. The food came out all at about the same time. Everyone's orders were correct, and the staff was so hospitable, accommodating, and friendly. I called Tristan, the manager, and he allowed me to put in everyone's orders earlier in the day, which made everything so much easier when it was time to arrive/reserve tables, and EAT! Cannot recommend enough!

They're doing some beautiful things back there! We stopped here for lunch during a short visit to Amelia Island. It was absolutely delicious! I appreciate using potato rolls for the buns. The burgers are great, but those fries were perfect. All hand-cut and fried to perfection. The tots were great too. I loved the combination of cheese sauce, a good chili, and jalapeños! It hit the spot. Next time, we'll be sure to try the shakes. Prices were super reasonable, atmosphere was nice & causal, space was clean, and workers were kind. Looking forward to our next visit! Thank you so much!

The food at Tasty’s is consistently great. I’ve enjoyed it many times and usually leave happy. Unfortunately, this visit was a letdown due to poor service. I spent nearly $60 (including tip) for to-go dinner and dessert for two, but the experience didn’t match the price. My shake was forgotten, and I waited while watching one of the staff make and hand out a free shake to her friend. Meanwhile, my to-go food sat getting cold, and the onion rings and fries turned soggy. Eventually, another employee asked if I was still waiting on something. I said yes, the shake, and she quietly informed the original staff member, who looked embarrassed and then handed me a premade shake from the freezer. It was fine but didn’t taste super fresh. I also ordered two cookies at $3 each, only to discover once I got home that they were prepared on August 29 and labeled to be used by September 1. It was September 6, five days past their recommended date. They were rock hard and completely inedible. I’m a regular at Tasty’s, so this was disappointing. Great food, but this visit didn’t reflect the usual standard, and certainly not worth $60.

The Tavern by AIBC, formerly known as Amelia Tavern Restaurant & Brewpub, is a popular spot in Historic Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. It's the first fully operational craft brewery in the area and offers a range of house-brewed beers alongside elevated pub food like shrimp po' boys and truffle fries.
We ordered the brussel sprouts and shrimp chowder to start. And wow. Such delicious dishes, would highly recommend. I also got the beet salad with grilled chicken. It was good, i would suggest asking for the dressing on the side tho if you’re like me and don’t like a ton of dressing. Only complaint was that the fries we got as sides were quite salty. But I was able to brush most of the salt off to my liking. Good service, our server Kaylee was wonderful. Overall great experience, would come back!

Last minute plans for dinner with my son. Ordered the fish & chips plus the chicken tender kids' meal. I didn't care for the fries, but the fish with the tartar sauce is good once you get past the breading portion. Also, I did not care for the taste of the alcohol drinks I ordered. Tried the French 318 wasn't something I'll get again, so I ordered a strawberry margarita, I didn't like the alcohol used. Anyhow, it was nice to try a place in town and have a dinner date with my son.

I’m rounding down due to issues with entrees but feel it’s 3.5. Originally got Mahi Fish tacos, it was basically fish jerky. Informed our waitress, Jessica, and she corrected it even taking the plate back to the chef. She was appalled that it was served. Jessica was very attentive and corrected the issue with the tacos without missing a beat. It’s probably the only thing in my life I’ve sent back. The replacement tasted good. The Cuban was a bit dry, Ok flavor, Felt muted a bit. The kids chicken tender basket was actually the best thing. Chicken was moist, hot, juicy, flavorful. Even the fries were crispy and nicely salted. I really enjoyed the coleslaw. They need to mix in some red cabbage or onion to give it some color. Looks bland and basic but tastes like a house made sauce. Cucumber salad was Cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, onions in an Italian or vinaigrette sauce. The sauce looked thick but was light on the tongue and was enjoyable. Service was great, good beer selection, no hazy’s. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. Great atmosphere and location. Just some issues with entrees. I’d give it another shot.

Fantastic and attentive service! Food came out at a reasonable time. Drinks were very generous and cost effective without being overly and disturbingly strong. I was very pleased (and relieved) that there were inherently vegetarian options on the menu and that I didn’t have to order something with meat just to remove the meat and pay the same price. I had the pleasure of having Hayden and my server and she was phenomenal! I would become a regular if I weren’t here on a business trip.

This place was wonderful! The fried shrimp meal was absolutely delicious. They had tasty hush puppies, with good appetizer and soup selections as well. The portion sizes were more than enough, with fair prices. There's great outdoor seating options near the beach, with a lovely view included. The service was fast, and everyone was super kind. In addition, they were more than happy to move us when we requested a table change as well. Finally, our server Matthew was very attentive. As someone who has worked in the food service industry, I would highly recommend this place. My family and I will definitely be back! Thanks everyone!

Lots of deep fried foods. My son ordered fish and chips while my husband chicken wings and chips. I stayed with cocktails; well a martini. They have a decent cocktail list and beers. Nothing fancy. Sports bar with sports TVs at different angles. Service was good, ambience was sport on, right on the beach with the sound of the sea waves. college football was on and fans like my husband had a great evening I did not like my cocktail served in a plastic cup. But that's just me.

What a cool place to eat right on the beach! We wanted a pet friendly place because we had our dog with us. They treated our dog just as good as us. They brought her fresh water and dog treats in whip cream. The service was 12 out of 10, the food was 12 out of 10, and we couldn't have had a better dining experience. We had pizza, a shirp platter, and a chicken sandwich enough for four and still had leftovers! We had a cocktail, and it was really good as well! We will probably end up there again!

This place is cool and on the beach. The food is delicious! I had the candied pecan and apple salad. It was amazing, I wish I got the full salad. Unfortunately, I was directed to get the half. The waiter was kind of snooty. Silly me, when I told him I wanted the salad,.but not sure what size I wanted, he snidley said "half". I naively thought he was hinting it was big...but here he was treating me as if that's what was affordable for me. Grr. The "half" WAS TINY! It was SO good, I would have ate a full salad. We were just getting something to hold us over until our supper time. My.partner got the nachos. I guess we seemed cheap or something. He barely waited on us, and we felt rushed, until we were actually ready to go. Granted this is a tourist type restaurant, the prices are ridiculous, but again, what we got was delicious! The waiter,.not so great.

Enjoyed a wonderful late birthday lunch with my husband and couldn’t have asked for a better venue with fantastic beach and water views. Laura was our server and she was both welcoming and attentive. Our celebration consisted of calamari, fish and chips, and grilled Shrimp platter. My husband mentioned it’s my birthday today and not only was our raspberry cheesecake on the house but I was serenaded by the staff too! Fun place.

I love the view from the outside covered patio. Feeling the ocean breeze while I have dinner is amazing! The food is consistently good here, aside from some overcooked and cold hush puppies at times. It happens. I had the coconut shrimp and a blackened grouper sandwich today, which was delicious. Denise was my server and she was attentive and helpful. They have live music in the afternoon from the beach, which is something I enjoy. I’ll be back!

Came late on Sunday night with a table of four so glad we had our waitress Cheyenne because you never would have known the restaurant was as busy as it was-We had great service! We got a margarita, pizza, nachos, fish, and chips and the coconut shrimp. We were surprised on the portion of the fish and chips and the coconut shrimp. It was quite meager for the price.

The Surf Restaurant & Bar, a long-standing establishment in Fernandina Beach, Florida, has been serving up delicious meals and good times since 1957. Whether you're in the mood for light beach fare or a full-course meal with ocean views, this casual beachfront eatery has something for everyone. From their signature Unagi-tossed tuna to blackened mahi with crab sauce, the menu offers a variety of options including steaks, fresh fish, and nightly specials.
Great atmosphere! Love they have a band, outside seating and nice and breezy since across from the beach. The food was delicious!! Can’t wait to go back! Love this place. The only thing is their ice cream isn’t of great quality… I ordered the brownie with ice cream….. the brownie was delicious but not the ice cream. I had their special an entire main lobster and it was delicious! The best sweet potato fries. And their beer sauce yum! Chrissy was our waitress and she was awesome!! I want to make sure we get her again next time. Thank you!

My wife and her son and I came only to eat here. Ava was our server and she did a great job. The food was good and we enjoyed the experience. We were fortunate to speak with Ellie, the manager on duty, and felt she had a good crew with her. All the staff seemed friendly, even the bartender who thanked us for coming. We had the good fortune to be there when the air conditioner was getting service and we could enjoy eating with cooler temperatures as the temperature outside was into the mid-90s. I want to send appreciated kudos to the owners for having ketchup available with NO high fructose corn syrup. Thank you so much! The whole meal for the three of us average came to $30 each. There seemed to be ample parking spots directly in front of the restaurant. I hope more restaurants follow your lead. Until next time!

Our waitress was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fresh, but it wasnt proportional to the price. The atmosphere was amazing. I would've given it a 5 star. However, the pricing on the menu was different that what we were charged. For instance, fish tacos state $11 on the menu. We were charged $18. I do understand prices change on occasion. For that drastic, it shouldve been made known. I felt like it was false advertising. Other than this, our experience was great.

We had a party of 4 that went in a little after 7pm on a weeknight. We chose to be seated inside due to the heat/humidity. They cleaned off a table for us but it didn't feel clean as napkins were still sticking to the table top and there were dirty napkins on the floor under the table. It took a while for a server to take our drink order but the drinks came out fairly quickly. We placed our order for an appetizer and 4 entrees. Thirty minutes later and still no appetizer; every time our server walked by the table she avoided making eye contact with us. Finally got the appetizer after 45-ish minutes, we asked how much longer for the meals and she told us there was one order ahead of us and it would be 2-3 minutes. We finally got our entrees an hour after we ordered. I had the salmon with rice pilaf and mixed veggies; while the salmon was hot, the veggies were not and the rice had hard/crunchy pieces in it. The 2 people who had fried baskets said none of the food (fish, shrimp and fries) was hot. We definitely felt that our server was avoiding us. When they brought the bill, they had given us 10% off the check, which was a complete insult after waiting an hour for cold food. We ended up getting the bill refunded after speaking to the manager but we will definitely not be going back.

This is a great place and the love music is very entertaining. They have a small hotel attached and we didnt stay there but we have had friends that have, based on them I give it 4 stars. They do get busy, staff seem to get overwhelmed and you may not see your waitress for 15 minutes, but I can look past that seeing how busy it was. We have eaten here no less than 20 times. This trip, the food was good, not great. The salmon was disappointing. Being on the beach you expect good seafood, the Salmon was as thin as a flank steak cooked on a cedar "plank" that was about so thin that it curled under heat, maybe as thick as pop top lid to open a beer. But, it was good, the environment is always good, there's shade and cold drinks

Jackie our waitress was the best. She was sat 3 tables at once and everyone had drinks and food in a timely manner. I don't understand why this place has a 4.1 rating? Good location, house salad with housemade dressings, awesome blackened redfish sandwich with hot crispy fries. Happy hour started at 2pm so we lucked out! $3 yuenglings!! We are so happy we stopped, because we almost passed it by. Restrooms were spotless as well.

The Lobby Bar @ The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island is a cozy and exclusive spot known for its small list of spirits and custom infusions. It offers a classic lounge experience with specialty drinks, live music, dancing, and sushi service until 10 p.m. The upscale bar inside the prestigious Ritz Carlton Amelia Island provides elevated service, food, and atmosphere.
Great spot for drinks and a lite bite. Food is pretty much limited to (very good) sushi. None of your typical bar fair like burgers. Have to walk down the hall to Tidewater Grill which is their take on a sports bar for that. Expect to pay $20 a drink. Not cheap but nothing at the Ritz is. Service was top notch as always.
Erik C — Google review
We’ve been coming to the lobby bar for sushi inside the Ritz-Carlton at Amelia Island for the past four years, visiting around the same time each year. Unfortunately, this visit left us deeply disappointed. The quality has noticeably declined compared to previous years. The rice-to-fish ratio in the rolls was off, with far too much rice overwhelming the fish. Additionally, the texture of the rice was mush, rather than sticky rice. The shrimp was overly chewy and lacked the fresh, tender texture we’ve come to expect from a high-end establishment like this. The bao buns were dry and we had to request additional honey hoisin sauce. The drinks and service were average—not bad, but nothing special either, which was surprising given the Ritz-Carlton’s usual standards. On a positive note, the tuna was fresh and flavorful, but it was one of the few highlights of the meal. It’s disappointing to see such a drop in standards, especially at a place we’ve consistently loved. We truly hope they address these issues, as this was far from the exceptional experience we’ve come to associate with the Ritz-Carlton brand.

I have always heard that The Lobby Bar has the best sushi in town. So when my mom and I had a spa day on Mother’s Day, I decided to stop in and finally try some sushi. Firstly, we were given some excellent complimentary snacks of mixed Japanese-inspired snacks, pretzels, and nuts, cheese crisps, and mixed olives and gherkins. We ordered Fernandina Roll, Creamy Crab Roll, and Sashimi Platter. I don’t mind paying top dollars for excellent food, but the sushi was pretty average. The sashimi, on the other hand, tasted pretty clean and fresh. My favorite amongst them was the Hamachi, which was rich, fatty, silky, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. I can probably eat a whole platter of those! I wanted to love this place, but there are so many others to try. Loved the servers’ friendliness and attentiveness!

Needed a night cap while staying at The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island and didn’t feel like going off property at 10 PM. The Lobby Bar was the perfect spot for a late night drink with a relaxed ambiance and great service. I had the Luxardo Margarita and it was an excellent choice. The drink was flavorful and strong and I’d highly recommend it. During my next visit I’ll come hungry to give feedback on the food selection.

We always come for the sushi at the Lobby bar , hubby’s fave if the nigiri platter and I come for the Fernandina roll or the Amelia roll. This is the local favorite. Locally sourced and fresh always . The atmosphere is very relaxing as it is facing the ocean. They have live music playing in the evenings. Our server Jamie is the best . We come for her I should say because she is very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu, very accurate in taking orders and efficient in delivering our meal . I would ask for her . The manager Kristina is the best ! She stays busy making sure all the guests are in their best comfort and orders are on point . She is very friendly as well and makes you feel right at home . Ambience is amazing from sunrise to sunset as the bar is oceanfront .

Upscale bar inside the Lobby of the prestigious Ritz Carlton Amelia Island! Prices are elevated to Ritz Carlton level prices but the service, food, and atmosphere are elevated as well. From the beautifully elegant lobby, the super friendly service, the amazing drinks, and good sushi...this is an excellent place to start your vacation at the Ritz or meet friends and enjoy some sushi and drinks. Every time we visit family and friends staying at the Ritz or visit friends at Carlton Dunes, it's always nice to just walk over, grab some drinks and sushi and relax in the upscale casual atmosphere!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Fernandina Beach, Garden Street Bistro is a delightful gem that offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for any meal of the day. This charming bistro boasts a European-inspired menu that shines during brunch, featuring dishes crafted with fresh herbs and top-quality ingredients. The ambiance is bright and airy, making it an ideal spot to unwind over afternoon tea or enjoy breakfast favorites like their delectable French toast and chocolate chip pancakes.
This pizza is so good we drive 40 minutes here for lunch. We were able to sit outside which is a great little dining area. Service was great, drinks were cold and the pizza (with cup & char pepperoni) was well worth the drive. Highly recommend!

Very cute restaurant tucked away from the main tourist strip. Very friendly service staff and great food preparation. I had to make a custom omelette, which was perfect for me. With a side of potatoes, which were real fresh potatoes cooked in seasoned! I absolutely love that. No pre-fabricated food here. Definitely a place that I would eat again on a scale of one to 10 I give them a 10.!

We came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Honestly, I was prepared to not be impressed, but I was wrong! This was an excellent meal. The garlic knots were so amazing! It came served with cloves of roasted garlic. And my husband loved the pizza. I had the portobello sandwich which was delicious and topped with fresh avocado. Service was great. We loved it.

Went on a Friday with my friends to celebrate his birthday. Had such an amazing time and the food was beyond our expectations. The restaurant was having a BOGO cocktails and bottomless mimosas. The guacamole was one of the best I’ve had and the pizza was so good! Wish I had taken more pics of the food before we got our hands on it. But this is place is definitely one of the best place to get food on the island. Not only is the food great but our server Mario and Elli were also amazing!

A beautiful building from S 3rd street. Basically a house turned into a restaurant. Parking can be tricky if you don't get here before 10am so plan accordingly. Especially with street parking scarce. Arrived Sat morning about 9:30. We were asked if we had reservations which this was our first visit and didn't realize they took reservations. May be advisable if arriving after 10am. The menu is rather extensive so I looked over pictures to influence my decision. Settled for the classic but was torn between the French toast / Pancakes or a biscuit with sausage gravy. So the server suggested instead of getting the toast get a biscuit with a side of the sausage gravy. Also the meat on most of the meals are extra. Settled for Bacon In conclusion the breakfast was pretty good. The bacon was crispy like I like it, eggs scrambled nicely. The cheese grits were okay, I’m just used to plain well seasoned grits and mix it with my eggs. The biscuit pretty big, however I didn’t like that they cut the biscuit in half and toasted it. When putting sausage gravy on a biscuit I like the biscuit to be moist and fluffy when I open it so the gravy will soften the biscuit easily. The toasted sides didn’t allow the gravy to soak well. So it was just okay. My wife got the French toast with strawberries. She liked it very much, however when I tried it, I thought it was rather dry. The toast was a huge thick piece of bread so I like mine soaked through with the egg wash. It was lightly dipped. So for me I wouldn’t order it if I came here again. I know this review seems rather picky but I wanted to give it a thorough review so you can decide for yourself. My honest opinion they nickel and dime you for every thing on the menu. Everything costs extra. The total bill for two people was like $61 That’s just too much for breakfast. I will more than likely not return due to the price. To each his own.

This was one of our go to spots for breakfast/brunch during our trip to Amelia Island. Great breakfast and delicious coffee drinks! My husband really enjoyed the french toast! Also just a super cute spot.

This is a cute little place for breakfast in downtown Fernandina... especially if the weather is nice. We love sitting outside enjoying the breeze while sipping coffee and enjoying a satisfying breakfast. The Hawaiian Omelet was more delicious than I expected and our favorite. The potatoes had a nice flavor but were a little hard/raw. If they were cut into smaller pieces maybe they would cook through more thoroughly. Otherwise, this is a place we will have lots of breakfast at in the future.

The Crab Trap is a popular seafood restaurant situated in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Housed in a converted Victorian era warehouse, this family-owned establishment offers a rustic dining experience. Known for its fresh crab dishes and steamed oysters, The Crab Trap showcases Florida's love for quality seafood. With an extensive menu featuring shrimp & grits, fish sandwiches, and steak, it caters to various tastes.
We had an amazing experience at The Crab Trap! We came for the Saturday All You Can Eat Snow Crab special at $65 per person and it was worth every penny. One of us had fries, the other had hush puppies both were great sides to the star of the show: the crab. The snow crab was absolutely incredible. It didn’t seem like the frozen kind you usually find elsewhere it was steamy hot, fresh, and the meat came out in beautiful, perfect chunks. No frustrating fights with the shell like at most places. The crab meat was tender, sweet, and clean none of that green stuff or fishy, soggy taste you sometimes get. We also tried the Orange Sunset Cake, and it was delightful! Super moist with a bright, refreshing orange flavor a perfect end to the meal. The service was just as impressive. Our waitress was handling 7 or 8 tables plus bartending, and she still made sure everyone was taken care of with a great attitude. She was quick, friendly, and on top of everything. The atmosphere inside was cozy and pleasant, with dark wood decor and even a piano, giving it a nice, classic feel. We would absolutely go back highly recommend The Crab Trap if you love good crab and a welcoming atmosphere!

Stopped here for a late lunch. Food was fantastic and the wait staff worked their butts off. Super chill atmosphere and very family friendly. Menu is what you expect from a coastal seafood place. (In a good way) With a section of the drinks menu called “Boat Drinks” and a Yacht Rock playlist they are definitely chasing a vibe and it works for them. The Smoked Gouda Fish Fondue was amazing and so were the house made chips. We also enjoyed fried shrimp, great French fries, the lobster bisque, and the bang bang shrimp. I had the Shrimp Po’boy and it was A+. It was a great experience.

Took a while to get seated. Food was delicious and atmosphere was great, seating so I could watch the sunset over the water. Amazing! Had the Seafood Tower, which was delicious. However for $156.00 I would strongly recommend including some potatoes and/or corn for a complete meal offering.

We were lucky enough to visit this fabulous establishment while a piano man was there. He was a lot of fun. We had fishbowl drinks with cute gummy fish at the bottom of our glasses, shrimp cocktail, and fish dip. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to return.

One of the few places open late here. Maybe because we got there 1 hour before closing but the food was not that good. The fish & chips had more batter than fish & the fries were coated which should be extra crispy but came to the table limp. The crab cake sandwich was less than desirable and was so mushy it would make mashed potato blush. The she crab soup & lobster bisque had neither crab or lobster.

Restaurant
The Green Turtle Tavern is a laid-back and popular spot in the historic downtown of Fernandina Beach, Florida. It's frequented by both locals and visitors, offering a relaxed atmosphere where you can rub shoulders with an eclectic mix of people, including shrimp boat captains, authors, and even the occasional celebrity or dog. The tavern is known for its live entertainment on weekends and boasts one of the best bourbon selections on the island.
The Green Turtle Tavern is one of those places that just feels like the heartbeat of Fernandina Beach. It’s laid-back, fun, and always welcoming whether you’re a local or just passing through. Cold drinks, live music, and a crowd that feels like family — this is what a neighborhood tavern should be. But what really makes it shine is the service, especially from Esmeralda behind the bar. She’s got a reputation around town for being one of the friendliest and most skilled bartenders you’ll ever meet. Esmeralda knows every drink you can think of — and probably a few you’ve never even heard of — and she makes it look effortless. Beyond the talent, though, it’s her personality that keeps people coming back. She’s quick with a smile, remembers names, and somehow manages to make everyone feel like a regular. It’s no surprise that Esmeralda has a local following; she’s part of what makes the Green Turtle so special. Add in the great live music, the relaxed outdoor vibe, and the fact that half the town seems to stop by at some point during the week, and you’ve got one of the best hangouts on Amelia Island.

Came here on a Friday night. Prices are reasonable, $4 for a Coors Light and there were 3 other beers available for $3. There's limited bar seating, only 2 seats total, which is strange however there is plenty of outdoor seating at picnic tables and such so on a nice night seating isnt an issue. Bathrooms are unisex, there are at least 3, 2 of which are outside. Staff was generally friendly although 1 bartender didn't like to give customers back their change. Overall, preferred this to Palace Saloon.

Fun place to hang out and listen to live music in the evening. People really filled the outside patio, dancing and drinking. Lots of energy. Not a lot of seating so most of the time we were standing. Wasn't a problem for us but could be for you, if you can't stand a long time. They do have some picnic tables so come a little early to grab one. The band was really great, and the people were friendly. It is hard to miss because the house/business is painted a dark green! 😁 They serve food and drinks, but we had already eaten so we didn't order anything. Good Vibes!!

Step into the historic Palace Saloon, an iconic bar established in 1903 that proudly holds the title of Florida's oldest bar. This institution has a rich history, having served as a speakeasy during Prohibition by offering gasoline, ice cream, and 3% 'near-beer.' The bar features vintage murals and mosaic floors and hosts live music most nights. Try their famous Pirate's Punch while soaking in the old-world charm.
A very cool place to come after dinner for drinks and music. Known as the oldest in FL, it’s not as five “bar-ry” as it could be … modern, clean and hip in all the right ways for a bar. The night we were there it also had really great music.
Alicia W — Google review
Visited the Palace Saloon, known as the oldest bar in Florida, and while the historic, woody atmosphere and live music were definitely charming, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. We sat at the bar and asked the bartender for their signature cocktail — hoping to try the best of what they offer. Unfortunately, the drink was disappointing and overpriced. It lacked flavor and balance, especially for a place with so much history and reputation. Cool vibe and worth a quick look if you’re into history, but we won’t be coming back. There are better spots on the island for cocktails and overall experience.

Fun little place with a cool atmosphere and live music that seems to be the place in downtown Fernandina that stays open latest. I'd say it's divey in the sense that it's not pretentious, but the decor is very unique and historic, not "divey" in that sense at all.

I have to admit. I meant to leave this Google Review in 1992 but I got busy and forgot. I'm only delayed by THIRTY THREE YEARS! :-) Better late than never right??? It was a Tuesday morning in the fall 1992. 3rd Section was assuming the guard for the ship in Kings Bay and there were no “movements” scheduled, so us 2nd Section slackers had a couple days off. George xxxxxx looks at me and says, “Hey - let’s get some of the guys and do a little “bar hopping campaign” in Fernandina Beach tonight.” Get it? Instead of island hopping campaign… 🤣 Anywho… I respond, “Sure but we have all hands MARDET PT tomorrow morning so I don’t wanna be out late. Famous last words! Turns out the FOURTH establishment of the evening… THE PALACE SALOON in downtown Fernandina… was the charm. Several old retired jarheads we met there were keeping us well hydrated at their expense. We had done some of our best DURAN DURAN and U2 karaoke performances to please the patrons. The only survivors of our initial group were me, George, and Chris xxxxxx. Sometime WAY AFTER the place would normally have closed… I think those old retired jarheads and some other occupants of the building were funding them keeping the doors open a little longer for us 🤣… we decided the time for a tactical regroup had arrived. I made the phone call. It was raining and a WELL PREGNANT Mrs Richard Davis made the early morning 45 minute drive to retrieve us. 😬 FREAKIN NAVY WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. Can’t ever find a taxi when you need one. We made it to the Wednesday all hands MARDET PT session… a softball game… with PLENTY of minutes to spare. Get there and it turns out EVERYBODY had enjoyed that random previous Tuesday evening. When Capt Christopher xxxx of Shreveport LA gave up his previous evening’s meal in center field, he gave Gunnery Sgt Cleocie xxxx of Milledgeville GA a wave and called the game a draw. WHY DOES ANY OF THIS RESURFACE ON A RANDOM FALL WEDNESDAY IN 2025 YOU ASK?? Last night… my son… a midshipman in the JAX area..: sent me a text with a pic. He said they were out roaming around downtown Fernandina… in the background of the pic… THE FREAKIN PALACE SALOON!!! 😂😂😂 I wonder if anyone there still remembers a random Tuesday night in the fall of 1992? 🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣 SEMPER FI and Happy 250th FREAKIN BIRTHDAY Jarheads!!!

Restaurant
Joe's 2nd Street Bistro is a charming and intimate New American spot located in Fernandina Beach, FL. The restaurant offers a romantic courtyard where guests can enjoy classic dishes like crab cakes and filet mignon. With a blend of continental European cuisine and American staples, the bistro provides an eclectic dining experience.
Once again another return visit. This time Maryland crab cakes, Shrimp & Grits and salmon sandwich. Every meal we had has been excellent. My favorite was shrimp & grits. Great service also. Reservations are needed.

We had the rib eye and shrimp and grits. The rib eye was one of the best I've ever had. The shrimp and grits were very good. One meal was ordered off of the menu that included an appetizer, entre, dessert, and coffee. I had a salad for the appetizer. It was good, but only about 1/2 the size of the salads on the regular menu. The water does not taste like regular Florida water, it was very drinkable.

This started out as a solid 5 but went south within 10 minutes. The outdoor seating is awesome, The menu looks great. Promptly seated. Quickly greeted. The Manhattan was served fast. The house bread and salad were great and brought out soon. Placed an order for the Filet Mignon. Then...... Then 2 more tables showed up and the server was no more. 30 minutes passed with no contact or food. I requested my check. Credit to the manager for cancelling all charges since they know they messed up.

What a find! First time here, the food was excellent! They made their own ketchup! Delicious! So my fiancée has the Bistro Salad while I went to the fresh catch of day sandwich... both our lunches were excellent! Everything appeared & visually felt as it was freshly prepared... the fries, fish was cooked perfectly, not overly done not under just perfect! We had a zero wait time when walked in and the atmosphere was very pleasant! Very relaxing place, the colors on the walls ceiling was calming and fit this place oh-so-swell! 👍👍👍

There were five families in our group. We have a reservation and the entire experience was really smooth and pleasant. To begin, we were promptly seated when we arrived at our reserved time. Our waitress was very friendly and well trained. Our water glass were never empty. If you're looking for a great sit down dinner service, this place fits the bill. Our food did not disappoint as they were well seasoned, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Being the weekend, I was able to order the prime rib that sits on grilled summer vegetables and mashed potatoes. Some of us had the Risotto Milanese (the shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly), rack of lamb, and grilled salmon. I did not hear one word of complain about our food. The fact that we had five families paying for their own meals did not faze our waitress. The bill came back correctly. I understand that this is a tourist town and things are going to be pricey but a three course meal at this restaurant will set you back $50. If you order a drink or two with it, be prepared to spend $80 per person. Word of caution, if you order the Caesar Salad and is asked with anchovies or not, go with no or you're going to end up with extra anchovies and an upcharge of $2. I recommend the Risotto Milanese. They achieve perfect consistency for the risotto and the cheese was of good quality.

Wonderful start to finish. Excellent flavors. We tried: chicken and andouille sausage wonton, crab stuffed shrimp, pork chop, linguini, and their three desserts. The cinnamon roll bread pudding was the absolute best of the three desserts.
Casey G — Google review
Absolutely the best service we've had in a while. Our waters were refilled the minute they were low, and we had everything we needed the moment we needed it. Food was absolutely perfect. Pictured is the Chicken Penne, and the seasoning was just enough to enjoy it and not enough to be overwhelming. Nice and light but filling. The only downside is how warm the restaurant is. It was already hot outside already so going from 97-100 degrees outside to basically the same temperature with no breeze was rough. Though as the sun went down it did get cooler and was manageable.

We really enjoyed dinner at Joe’s 2nd Street Bistro tonight. The service was excellent and all of the food was fresh and well prepared. We had the crab stuffed shrimp as a starter. It was delicious even though I wish the portion was just a little larger. For dinner, my husband had the grilled ribeye with three sauces and I had one of the specials, which was a coffee rubbed New York strip steak with jalapeño cheddar grits. We will definitely come back to Joe’s again when we make our next visit to Fernandina Beach.

Restaurant
Cafe Karibo is a chill and friendly bistro located on Third Street in Fernandina Beach, offering standard New American fare with many vegan-friendly options. The restaurant is known for its pet-friendly environment and features garden patios as well as a historic building for indoor dining. Guests can enjoy sandwiches, salads, wraps, seafood specialties, homemade desserts, and Southern comfort dishes for lunch and dinner. Additionally, the owners also opened Timotis to provide fresh seafood options in the historic district.
The food was great I had the veggie burger it was seasoned all the way through I added cheese. It was delicious. The potato salad was great too. I just wish I had more of the potatoes salad....Umm delicious.😁 My mother had their Fish sandwich she also like. The fish sandwich was so big with fruit and mixed greens on top and a little spice. This is a great place to eat and great service we'll definitely go back I'm from out of town and I'm still thinking about it. A+

I took a star for not honoring Combat Veterans with a 10% discount. The service and food are excellent off the main street. The hamburger is a great choice here and ask for the mixed fries (sweet and regular). I had the house salad with blackened scallop add-on and that was delicious. Their chili feels very home cooked ( great flavor with natural ingredients). I imagine with a full crowd indoor would be loud.

Great food and great service. I had the mahi sandwich which is super flavorful. The potato salad and Cole slaw are also top notch. Definitely will be returning.

2025 update: Unfortunately, the owner is on the city council and has chosen to support paid parking for all of downtown. He owns multiple downtown restaurants (Duck Pinz, Baba’s, the Irish Pub, Gregor MacGregor's mini golf, Karibo, and others) and while the food and atmosphere is great, it is difficult to support establishments owned by a person actively working against the interests of his voters. --- When out-of-towners ask me for a food recommendation, Karibo is my #1 recommendation. Karibo focuses on a tight, dedicated menu, but still has a little something for everyone. Dinner options are well-plated, well-seasoned, and contain fresh ingredients. If you aren’t in the mood for a larger dinner like grouper, scallops, or Korean BBQ Ribs, try a fresh salad, or sandwich options like, a Brie’zy Day (Honey Ham, Brie, Cranberry Relish) or a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. A table favorite is the Spicy Thai Noodles (served cold, and perfect for the hot weather!)

This is one of our absolute favorite places to eat!! Whether you dine outside or inside the atmosphere is fun & lively but not so loud that you can't enjoy your company. We always order the Mahi sandwich. I recommend half sweet potato, half regular fries & a side of watermelon. They also make an amazing strawberry margarita. It's not always on the menu, but you can ask for them to make it. The food, atmosphere & service are always wonderful. You can't go wrong if you're looking for a delicious place to eat, that's always clean with great service!

Wow!! Amazing food and great service. I’ll preface this review by saying I wish I would’ve gotten more pictures of the food. But it looked so good we had to dig in. 😂 I got the Philly and my husband got the calypso chicken. Let me tell you, so good! Also—I don’t know her name but our server was very attentive and wonderful. The overall vibe here is very chill and relaxed. This is a popular place so we did have to wait around 20 minutes or so but that seemed to fly by. Very much enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Verandah is a hotel seafood and Southern-food eatery with rustic decor, offering views of an oak tree and tennis complex. The restaurant provides an elevated dining experience with fresh seafood and homemade pastas sourced from the resort's sustainable greenhouse. Guests can enjoy cocktails made with honeycomb from the beehives or classic caesar salad with hand-harvested romaine lettuce.
Wait...a rare 5 Star?? Indeed, took 11 guests out to try this place. Restaurant is very nice setting modern with some elegance. Once we were seated we were greeted by Philip, our waiter, and offered drinks. He suggested blue crab dip as appetizers and man was at a hit... We all cleaned out the bowls of that delicious concoction. As we all ordered our entrees we had our choice of soup or salads, I got their Caesar which was presented in a most unique way and was delicious. Some got the soup and it must have been very good because their bowls were licked clean: - ) as far as the entrees most of us got their Grouper, this is a delicious fish that I have only found available in Florida. The rest of the party had steak or scallops. I can tell you the grouper was without a doubt the absolute best I've ever eaten! One of my guests gets to eat grouper all the time he too made the same comment best ever... Turns out it's been on their menu for 30 years in a row now I know why. Those that had steak said they were fabulous with a delicious crusting and the others who had scallops said they were absolutely perfect. Naturally we all decided to have desserts and their selection was vast and again everybody cleaned their plate. Unfortunately, no one ordered a pasta dish something I believe they're known for as they make their pasta homemade fresh as needed daily right there. So that will have to be another trip and if it's anything like what we ate it will be fabulous. I should mention the level of service we had... Our water glasses were constantly topped off and the silverware and plates were constantly switched out between each course and any refresh on cocktails or wine or ass before a glass got empty. Everything came out and an excellent casual pace And I can assure you that in the kitchen they have a true chef... Not a cook! This was a true dining experience in the way they handled such a large crowd as ours was flawless. Well worth every single penny and more. Well I'm not a Forbes or Michelin rater, if I was, this place would certainly be extremely high on their recommendation chart and as far as me as I rarely issue a five-star across the board... This one has earned it from me
Jim R — Google review
Our meal at Verandah was amazing! Our waiter was so nice and walked us through their menu and things he would recommend. For our anniversary they made sure it was special! We were offered a cocktail on them, and also got to pick out an appetizer on them as well. We got the crab dip and it was amazing! They also brought out the octopus which we were a little hesitant about, but it was so good with all the different flavors! For dinner I got the scallops and my husband got the steak and both were cooked very well. Some of the best scallops I’ve ever had. Our son who is 2 was also with us, and the wait staff was so catering to him which was very nice. We also enjoyed the amaretto olive oil cake which was amazing and some espresso martinis to end the night. Overall, we loved our experience and would recommend Verandah to anyone!
Allie S — Google review
Excellent seafood - don’t miss the scallops or the grouper. Both were outstanding and the service was pleasant and professional. I’d have given five stars, but the restaurant smelled like a locker room. They need some serious dehumidifiers, new carpet, and water filters while they’re at it. The smell was bad enough that it interfered with the experience.

My girlfriend and I both had the pleasure of dining here last week and I am pleased to say we will absolutely returning. We ordered the Swordfish Skewers, Local Grouper, and the beef tenderloin all three were just right. So delicious! Service was excellent as well. I look forward to dining here again in the future.

Fine dining is dying art, so it's such a treat when you find a place like the Verandah. Highly trained, attentive and knowledgeable, the staff will take care of your every need. My meal was more than delicious. It was high art of taste and beauty. Bricked red snapper over gnocchi. Like most art, the price of admission isn't cheap.
Robert R — Google review
Verandah deserves every bit of its 5-star rating! From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. The noise level was perfect, allowing for easy conversation throughout the evening. Our waiter, Michael, truly took our dining experience to the next level. He was professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and incredibly friendly. His recommendations were spot-on, and his attentiveness made us feel like valued guests. Speaking of the menu, it was unlike anything we'd seen before - unique and absolutely perfect. My scallops were cooked to perfection, and my wife's swordfish was equally delicious. The flavors were incredible, and the presentation was beautiful.

Crazy price for the quality- I would compare it to nice food at a wedding. For example the grouper dish sounds great but is less than appetizing. Not a horrible meal, but personally wouldn’t want to spend even half of what we spent for the quality

We are vacationing on Amelia Island at the Ritz Carlton. My husband booked Verandah for my birthday. Walker our waitress was very sweet. I am gluten-free I started with the hummus and requested veggies in place of the pita bread. The hummus was tasteless my husband had the Octopus also said it had zero flavor. For our entrees I had the grouper it was just okay hubby had the tenderloin said it was very good. I was hoping to have had a better dinner based on the prior reviews. Needless to say I was very disappointed.

Marché Burette is a delightful market and deli cafe located within the Amelia Village circle of the Omni Resort in Fernandina Beach, FL. It offers a casual walk-up atmosphere and serves up excellent food, making it the perfect spot for a hearty breakfast or weekend brunch. The venue also features a charming old-fashioned grocery store, boutique baked goods, and an impressive selection of gourmet products from various brands.
This was our first time visiting Amelia Island, and this place was amazing! Loved the old "country store" vibe, made me feel right at home.🥰 The customer service was wonderful, displaying kindness that was contagious. Soooooo many desserts!! And very unique and tasty food. I would absolutely recommend the curry chicken salad wrap!🥰 I will definitely be coming back.

We went to the special steak night they have off season on the weekends and it was delish! Our server Seymour was fantastic. We both agreed it was relatively inexpensive for the size and quality of steaks we got, as where we are from it’s normally 10x the price. 10/10 will be back when we are in the area again.

Steak Out - Great dinner option on weekends (in season, check the website). Small menu, but perfectly cooked steaks, friendly service and perfect atmosphere . Typically some live music as well. Excellent options for brunch/ lunch as well, year round. A regular stop for years, wouldn’t miss it.
Todd J — Google review
This is a wonderful place to eat with, good food, top-notch staff and cute atmosphere (but everything is for sale - it's a little store with specialty items). I think it is a little over-rated or over-priced. It is geared toward the resort tourists. Tourists/seasonal folks (and locals recommending a place on that side of town) rave about it, but I think that might be because options are so limited around the Omni property. Head into historical downtown Fernandina and there are lovely places around there, too. The recommendations for Marche Burette aren't wrong...the food is tasty, well presented, the staff are polite, the store and atmosphere are cute. But it feels a little hyped for the well-traveled. Certainly, still an enjoyable time.

It’s just off the resort so priced accordingly, however the portions are huge. Most dishes can be split between two guests. Food is good as well as the service. So good we ate here multiple times during our stay.
Brian S — Google review
I came into the place because my phone died and I was lost on the island. Paige, one of the managers, stepped right up to help me and gave me a table to charge my phone while recommending something on the menu…btw she was right, I got the egg, ham,Swiss, croissant and it’s soooo good!! She also made sure I was okay, and coming into a place lost made me feel very safe that someone was concerned for me more beyond my money. Alicia was my server and was so nice and cute!! Service took no time at all and out of all the places to get lost, I’m happy it was this one. She was also mindful when the manger was talking to me and didn’t interrupt, which I appreciate. So I thank all the staff for being friendly and understanding❤️ I hope they see this :)

I ordered the bacon biscuit and replaced it with an English muffin. Waited over 15 minutes. So I started watching the kitchen to see when it’d be ready and noticed the heavyset black girl was chewing as she was packing up my order. Didn’t say anything because I didn’t see her take food from my plate to put it in her mouth, but seriously why would you eat as you’re packing an order (check your cameras if you don’t believe me). Then I get my order and notice it’s not a sandwich. The white girl with the ponytail was kind the whole time and offered to remake it as a different black girl told me I “just put the other piece of bread on top to make it a sandwich”. With scrambled eggs? And then I get home and realize the raspberry pastry I asked for is a cheese pastry. Honestly frustrating spending $47 on breakfast and getting this??? Used to love this place but this is the 2nd time in a row I’ve gotten sloppy food.

Stopped here for lunch during the stay at the Omni. Here are my thoughts: Things I liked: - Super casual - Food is very tasty - Lots of different breakfast and lunch options for various tastes and needs. - cute market with tasty treats for all ages including a great wine selection - soup was fantastic! - service staff was very friendly and helpful. - large patio area for outside dining - first come first serve dining - Fresh bakery items to purchase at the counter and looked absolutely incredible! Things I would change: - there are so many places where you could come in to the dining areas which made it really difficult to actually get a spot to sit instead of having a queue for people to line up in. - just a few heaters out on the covered portion of the dining patio would make a huge difference on cold mornings or foggy days.

Cedar River Seafood is a popular, laid-back eatery that has been serving up generous portions of fresh seafood for over 40 years at its six family-owned beach locations. The restaurant offers a variety of seafood dishes, including jumbo snow crab legs, fried gator tail, shrimp, scallops, and clam strips. In addition to seafood, they also serve grilled chicken and steaks. Customers can enjoy no-fuss dining with large portions of delicious food in a casual setting.
Very good! We visited at the end of a long travel day. Just looking for a comfortable, casual place with good food, and Cedar River was a great choice. Food was uncomplicated, tasty, abundant, and reasonably priced for the quality. Service was excellent start to finish.

Had a couple of nice seafood dinners here for our first visits. Both times we had the daily specials, which were delicious, great values and with generous portions...Sunday was $10 Shrimp and Grits, and Monday was buy one Shrimp Dinner, get a 2nd for half off. Service both evenings was excellent. Casual dining with not much ambiance but you can have a nice meal at a reasonable price.

Small portions for high prices. Entrees only come with one side. Fried okra was not made in house - frozen over-breaded lumps. Food quality was sub-par but service was good. Sadly it's nowhere near as good as the Cedar River restaurant it recently replaced.

Well, my kids have a new favorite Mac n cheese. Everything else was really good, especially for the price. It was very clean! Clean floors, clean tables and all of the lighting worked. The AC diffusers were dust free, clean restrooms and friendly staff. I am not sure who the manager is, but he/she needs a raise! We will definitely be back.

This used to be Cedar River Restaurant and wonderful a couple years back. We used to enjoy coming to this place, but left very disappointed. They were out of local shrimp and flounder. Food was terrible, service was great. Will not come back here again as we all have upset stomachs leaving.

I'm from Washington D.C., and a few weeks ago, after an incredibly challenging road trip, which included one tire blowout, getting that one replaced, and then another tire blowout nearly instantly, I slapped the spare on, and my family and I gave up hope of enjoying the rest of the day. We got a hotel, and decided to get seafood. Atlantic Seafood Restaurant was suggested to us. We entered the establishment and were greeted by a very nice woman; she showed us to our seat. Then, we met our server, Wendy. I cannot begin to express how grateful we are to have had her as our server. Her fun and sweet attitude was, honestly, exactly what we needed. She was funny, very knowledgeable about the menu, and very knowledgeable about the area, and even gave us a map to help us find our way around. She was an absolute delight, and a breath of fresh air, considering the bad luck we had been having on this trip. She was wonderful. We had ordered gator nuggets, and we had some fried fish. The food was outstanding. I gotta be honest, I think her positive and friendly attitude really turned things around for us, because after our incredible experience at Atlantic Seafood on Sadler, everything really changed for the better. It's amazing how one person's courteous and friendly nature can change the atmosphere, which was exactly what we needed after a long and stressful day; but she did, and we are grateful. We joked on the way home about her needing to be cloned. Anyway, thank you, Wendy, and Atlantic Seafood Restaurant, for really pulling through for us when the rest of the world seemed to be against us. I will definitely be returning next time we are in the area. Excellent food, and Wendy is an outstanding server. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The special this evening was a shrimp or chicken quesadilla, and since I didn't need a huge meal I went for the chicken option. It didn't disappoint. Blackened (or fried, or grilled) chicken served with plenty of cheese on tortillas that were cooked perfectly. The pico de gallo was made fresh that day with vegetables from the farmers market in town, and it was flavorful with some heat from the jalapenos. My side of fried okra was also cooked perfectly. And yes, two hush puppies were on the plate! Half the meal came home to enjoy again since there was plenty for a small appetite. My husband enjoyed fried shrimp with a side of mac and cheese. He's picky about mac and cheese, and this exceeded his expectations with flavor and creaminess. Everything was hot and served promptly. Service was excellent as well, with our server letting me know the pico had some heat. If you want fine dining, go elsewhere, but for basic, well-prepared seafood dishes in a booth and table setting you can't beat this restaurant.

Dallas, our server, was very helpful, especially since it was our first visit. Bang bang shrimp appetizer was delicious bigger, crunchy & flavored just right. Scallops seared good, mushroom risotto creamy and paired well - would've liked more asparagus on top. NY Strip steak tender, creamy mashed potatoes, and the spinach extremely flavorful!! Unfortunately, they were out of Beignets. We will definitely visit again!

This is a great place to sit and enjoy great food, decent drinks, and amazing service. First of all, we had Tammy who was very friendly and helpful with the menu and she really made the experience enjoyable! The brussel sprouts were very delicious and were a great way to get our appetites ready for the meal. We had the Cajun Shrimp Risotto and we had the special item they were running at the time...braised short ribs. Both were very savory and satisfying to eat. The short rib was tender and juicy. The Cajun Shrimp was not too spicy with a great balance of flavors. The mixed drinks were 50/50 for the evening. The gin drink was disappointing because we couldn't taste the gin. Either there was a small amount or the gin they used lacked any botanical flavors found in gin. The jalapeno margarita was much better. It had fresh jalapenos and a good mix in it. For dessert, we highly recommend the beignets! They were the best part of the entire meal!

This is the best restaurant in Fernandina Beach, in my opinion. We had an absolutely fantastic NYE dinner here. Food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all exceptional. The food was just incredible. I had the strip steak and my wife had the salmon. We also had the octopus app and the Coffee & Donuts dessert. Wow. Everything was delicious from beginning to end.

Date: May 2025 Note: a bit upscale, so prices are high and portions are on the smaller end. Reservations are highly encouraged and there isn't a dedicated parking lot (typical for the area) 10/10! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was wonderful. Every member you walked by greeted you with a smile. Very unique flavors combined on every plate we ordered. Even the vegetarian option had a variety of flavors that somehow didn't override one another. The location is beautiful, and the outdoor seating was surprisingly bareable for Florida in a 90°F+ day. The food is on the more expensive side and the portions are a bit small in comparison to your less expensive restaurants, but the portions don't leave you hungry as they are portioned to what you should eat, you're just unlikely to have leftovers.

Our evrning at Burlingame was nothing short of AMAZING!! Michelin Star quality start to finish! A true adventure for even the most discerning of palates! Every selection was artfully presented and surprised you with flavors and textures that blended together to deliver joy with every bite. It was a foodie's paradise! The staff is delightful and works together like a well oiled machine to ensure the ultimate dining experience. They're friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu options. and make you feel like a valued guest from arrival to departure. The ambiance is perfect as well. Many thanks to Tanner for getting us in to celebrate our son's birthday and to Jillian for her outstanding service! If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Burlingame is an absolute must! How very fortunate we are to have one of the finest of restaurants in Fernandina Beach!!

Fantastic is an understatement. My wife and I have dined here several times and the food has always been stellar. We recently went to another high end Amelia restaurant and quickly realized we should have booked our New Year’s Eve dinner at burlingame. The food, service and atmosphere is always spot on. So much so, that we booked them for our wedding reception on 12.20.24. We cannot wait to return and enjoy their amazing creations.

Wonderful in every category. Was very surprised that the cost was not bad and the food was delicious. Would definitely go back because the menu changes with the seasons.

In one word, incredible. Just an amazing experience all around. The food was so great, we came back the following night as we didn’t think it would be possible to find anywhere else that would be as good. We didn’t have a reservation the second night but stopped in on the off chance that there had been a cancellation. The hostess was amazing and offered to take my number then call me when someone left the bar area. As promised, she called me 25 minutes later and we were seated. The servers are knowledgeable and the food is excellent. Fresh, clean ingredients with deep flavors. If you’re in the area, I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

This place was amazing. We had muscles and Brussel sprouts for appetizers and both were excellent. For the main course, we had shrimp and grits and the lamb pasta dish...both were amazing. I also loved the Float on mixed drink and it was awesome. Overall, this was the best dinner we have had in a long time. Great service and atmosphere. We will be back.

Breakfast restaurant
Amelia Island Coffee is a beloved coffee shop located in the heart of historic downtown Fernandina. Established in 1995, this charming café is housed in a 140-year-old exposed brick building and offers a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy expertly crafted espresso drinks, breakfast options, sandwiches, and even ice cream. The extensive menu includes an array of coffee beverages, organic teas, fruit smoothies, frappes, milkshakes, and unique Red Bull Infusions.
Open concept small coffee joint with style. Right on the main drag, this coffee shop doesn't boast, it's sits peacefully, offering space to relax with views of local culture both inside and on the patio area. Inside boasts a collection of local art for sale, a board filled with local events and things to do, small pastries and of course a wide selection of coffees and teas for you to enjoy. Simple, easy, enjoyable, and contributes to the local economy. Worth the visit.

There are 4 things that make a place great. 1. People 2. Product 3. Pricing 4. Service This place has all 4 we are regulars here and every time is great. As you can see from the photos we have have a variety of their drinks and they are always spot on. The manager is always willing to accommodate special requests and even VIP clients that we bring to town.

During a weekend trip with my Mom, we had breakfast here both days and really enjoyed it. There was a lively atmosphere and the employees worked diligently to prepare the drinks and food with care. I highly recommend the espresso frappe, it was the best drink to start my day :)

I recently visited this coffee shop, and it was an absolute delight! The place is super cute, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The cleanliness is top-notch, which makes it even more enjoyable to sit and relax with a cup of coffee. The coffee itself is excellent, with a good variety of options to choose from, catering to different tastes. Whether you prefer something strong and bold or smooth and mellow, they have something for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised by the range of choices. Another bonus is that they also offer ice cream, which is perfect for those warm days or when you're just in the mood for a sweet treat. It's a unique touch that sets this coffee shop apart from others. Overall, it's a great spot to unwind, enjoy good coffee, and treat yourself to something sweet. Highly recommended!

This is an absolute gem of a coffee shop. The staff here are so friendly and the coffee is amazing. I say this wholeheartedly because it's so hard to find cafés that make a strong Americano without charging extra for more expresso shots. Many cafes I've been to lately have missed the mark on this, or the coffee tends to be too acidic, but not here at Amelia Island coffee. They make a strong, delicious, tasting Americano right from the get-go! If I lived in this area, this would be my regular morning hangout. I can not comment on the food options as I didn't have any. However, everything looked good in presentation. If I hadn't already eaten, I so would have bought a breakfast sandwich from here without question. They are fairly busy here. However, there's plenty of seating inside and outside, and there's even a little public sitting area right beside here that is quite nice as well. Loved the laid-back tropical setting of the beautiful dropback mural displayed at the back. It's definitely a great choice for keeping the theme relative to Florida. 😊

Cute coffee shop. The iced coffee was very good! Great strong flavor but not bitter like starbucks coffee. However, it is a little pricey though but worth the splurge if you're on vacation. The banana bread was also very good. It was moist and not too sweet. Seating area was clean and spacious. Would definitely come back.

We were there this morning for Sunday brunch , our server Toni was very cheerful and pleasant , very knowledgeable about the menu and we had top notch service. We have dined there couple of times and today was exceptional , she was amazing. The weather was very gloomy and humid but her demeanor just lifted my spirits. We chatted and all I know is we left with a special gift from her. Such a sweet lady . We had the buffet breakfast and it was delicious with a wide variety of food choices from charcuterie, made to order omelet, bread and pastries, hot breakfast, fruit and fresh juices to choose from. The food is fairly priced being a prestigious hotel . Courtney was amazing as well…. She made sure we had everything we needed . We will be back!

Had our last dinner here before traveling back to NJ after spending the week in Amelia Island. The food here was extraordinary. Amazing restaurant. The service was amazing and very quick! All of the staff was super friendly. Outdoor seating has amazing views of the resort and beach. The bread is amazing. The salmon was some of the best I have ever had! The fries were a little greasy, but that is to be expected with truffle fries. Great menu and selection. Valet is free if you dine here even if you are not staying in the resort, so this is a great option even for locals.

Such a lovely atmosphere. The staff would greet you with such politeness it just made me feel very comfortable. The food was VERY delicious from breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. For salads I definitely recommend the Coast Salad as it was jumping with flavor. For breakfast the Sunrise Wrap was definitely a hit! the whole experience being with the outdoor seating and the waves crashing nearby and the food being so delightful, when I come back to Amelia Island, Coast will be the only restaurant I will be eating at. #Coast

We went there for their open buffet brunch and it was very good. I think for the selection of options that are available plus chef cooking your omelette to your order, $35/person is quite reasonable. Service was impeccable and the seating area is clean and spacious. If we go back to the hotel, we'd be back to the restaurant as well.

It’s The Ritz! I was not disappointed. The Coast is a casual, but really not casual restaurant. We went for lunch, and I was happy I wore a nice dress. The atmosphere is very nice. Relaxing and pleasant. The Staff is very nice. They make you feel welcome. My husband ordered the Swordfish sandwich. I had Ciabatta Roast Beef. We thought everything was delicious. The service was fast. This restaurant is inside of The Hotel. The Hotel is Gorgeous. If you want to do a little shopping, you can stop in one of the many shops. Highly recommend The Coast. You will love the experience. Valet parking only.

4th Street Deli & Salads in Fernandina Beach is a must-visit original sandwich shop offering classic deli sandwiches and unique salads. The menu features staples like pasta salad, signature fish salads, green beans, mushroom mixes, crab cakes, and fresh vegetables. Their Cuban sandwich is a popular choice and can be customized to your liking.
Beyond the quality and superb taste this cute local deli delivers, this morning at 6 AM on my morning walk I witnessed a woman meticulously dusting the outside of the building and cleaning in 48 degree weather! If that doesn’t tell you the level of care this local restaurant delivers I don’t know what will. The bean and avocado salad is incredible! Check them out!

Absolutely loved it. The foreign lady was a little rude and I couldn't understand her but my sub #11 Amelia Club was delicious....lots of meat great value. My husband has #2 Italian. Less meat and he was disappointed but he will definitely eat there again just order the one I had. Love the atmosphere. You can also get all kinds of different pasta salads and sandwiches. I would definitely go here.....

Clean, quiet, and great food. Mom had the gyro and couldn't even finish it! I had the shrimp salad and it was one of the best salads I've ever had. Definitely coming back!

This feels like a New York deli. The three women behind the counter were friendly and quick. The sandwich options were plentiful. My husband had the Italian on ciabatta. I had the veggie club (not a vegan or vegetarian, but it sounded fresh and refreshing after a hot and humid day). I wanted it on a sub roll, but the lady taking the order says it won’t fit on a sub roll. After I got it no wonder…BOTH sandwiches were loaded with the ingredients. My husbands had meat on top of meat. I also order a salad trio from their salad deli. Omg!! So delicious and so much food. Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. Would absolutely eat here again. Be warned only a few seats inside and three outside. But do yourself the favor and go and enjoy this place. Yum!!

Best deli I have been to! Shrimp salad on a sub roll was amazing. Wife had an egg salad that was fantastic. Older kiddos had a grilled chicken salad that wa a huge portion, the Italian on a sub roll that the oldest said was best sandwich he has ever had and youngest had a roast beef on a sub roll that he ate in 2 minutes. Great place to eat inside. Nice and cool!

I ordered a trio salad. I was almost done eating half of my trio salad and I see a dark, short, thick hair on my fork, from my black-bean mango, pepper salad and I got disgusted.Do you not wear a hair net, when prepping the food? I highly recommend you start wearing them. Last time I also ordered for two people and one side was missing (but I didn't want to drive back, again, and deal with your mistake). You need to do better, please. I really like your salads, minus the hair.

The ladies that own and work at 4th Street are extremely kind and so thoughtful and considerate. The food was amazing, my husband said his Italian sandwich was the best he’s ever had. I had the salad trio and each one was fresh and delicious. We also had the watermelon, I don’t know how they picked such a good watermelon, but it was perfect. We will definitely come back here every time we are in Amelia Island!

Nestled in the charming historic district of Fernandina Beach, Florida House Inn is a delightful Victorian inn that dates back to 1857. This enchanting bed and breakfast offers guests a taste of Southern hospitality with complimentary breakfast and an on-site restaurant, Leddy's Porch, where you can savor delicious southern cuisine while enjoying views of the garden.
Florida House Inn was a very unique place to stay. The old architecture had so much character. Our room was nice and was situated on the second floor above the back garden/patio area. The manager (owner?) was super kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The Mermaid bar and Leddy's Porch restaurant were convieniently located right downstairs which was nice for brunch. One thing to note, the Green Turtle bar next door has live music most evenings. (Nice place to hang out too.) However, they shut the music down at 11pm each night so the noise was not a problem for us.
Nick B — Google review
I really wanted to absolutely love this place… the inn was definitely historic, quaint and so cute but the rooms were in need of updates and a good deep cleaning. The mattress was the worst! It was not supportive and squeaked with every little movement. The location was fantastic BUT it is right next to the Green Turtle Bar which plays outdoor music and brings in lots of people so if you don’t want to have music playing in the background all night and feel weird about having a boatload of strangers right outside all hours then choose elsewhere! We loved it! My fave part was that right outside our room was a balcony that overlooked the bar and the stage! I feel like service at check in was minimal. But at least it was quick. Then I don’t recall seeing any staff at all the rest of our stay so luckily we are low key and low maintenance. The restaurant in the inn has great reviews but it did not leave much of an impression on me as there is so much else in Fernandina/Amelia that is must do! The courtyard was gorgeous and we had to touch the topless mermaid’s boobs on the fountain! Overall, we enjoyed our stay but mainly because we spent most of our time outside of our room. The room itself was eh. Parking was also limited and not guaranteed! Some of the spots that were there are also difficult to get into or out of especially with a large vehicle.

The closes you can get to feeling like you are a local living in the historic district! The history of this building and the location are a perfect match for a very warm and welcoming experience all the way around. The Manager was very friendly, and I really enjoyed chatting with her. We would love to come back here again! There are two balconies one on the front and one on the back, and they are large and offer the perfect view of the surrounding historic district. I wish we could go back again and stay another night tonight!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My stay at the Florida House Inn in historic Fernandina Beach was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine Southern hospitality and warm smiles. The inn is full of charm and history, perfectly located for exploring historic downtown Fernandina’s shops, restaurants, and waterfront. A huge shout out to Julie and Emily—they went above and beyond to make my stay special. Their kindness, helpfulness, and attention to detail made me feel completely at home. And I can’t forget the inn’s sweet, friendly kitty cats, who added an extra dose of warmth and charm—what a delightful touch! I truly loved every minute of my visit and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend the Florida House Inn for anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming, and unforgettable stay in Amelia Island! 🏡🐾

Location is perfect easy walking everywhere. Restaurant shopping excellent location. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The facility itself needs a facelift, rundown, overgrown bushes unkept common areas. I know it’s a old historical house, but the upkeep of the facility is lacking

For those exploring Amelia Island, The Decantery is a must-visit cocktail lounge that promises a delightful experience. Nestled next to the Palace Saloon, this sophisticated venue exudes an old Hollywood charm with its plush velvet couches and vintage mirrors. Guests can indulge in an impressive selection of rare wines, craft cocktails, and unique beers while savoring decadent desserts like beautifully layered cakes displayed at the entrance.
Friendly people with an opulent urban-chic atmosphere and a tremendous selection of wine! We recently stopped in for a coffee and quick bite for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were precooked and waiting in a small display case. If you get there later in the morning, your options are limited to what is remaining after the early morning crowd has already deleted most of the sandwiches. The coffee was delicious and prepared by a friendly person behind the counter who brought our beverages to us as we relaxed in their comfortable chairs. It was a great place to sip good coffee, enjoy a great conversation, and get our minds right before continuing our day. Plus, I'm sure if you overindulged on their mixed drinks and amazing wine selection the night before, why not come back and enjoy an Irish coffee while you recover. 😁
Toby B — Google review
Decantery Café has a relaxed vibe — a nice spot to sit and chat or get some work done. They offer an interesting selection of dessert, wines, drinks, and coffee, which makes it a unique stop in the area. I ordered a latte with oat milk, and while it was okay, it didn’t justify the $7.25 price tag. The coffee mug felt cheap, and the latte art and presentation could definitely be improved — a drink at that price should be served in a wider cup with some care. That said, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting.

As a local Amelia Island resident, I consider The Decantery one of Fernandina Beach’s true gems. It’s the perfect place to indulge in a glass of fine wine or champagne while sharing beautifully crafted desserts with a few close friends. The atmosphere is upscale yet inviting — softly lit, elegant, and ideal for relaxed conversation. Their wine list is exceptional, featuring thoughtful selections and knowledgeable staff who always offer impeccable recommendations. Every detail feels intentional, from the presentation of each dessert to the quality of the service. It’s not an inexpensive stop, nor should it be — The Decantery delivers an experience defined by refinement, warmth, and indulgence. Whether for a quiet evening out or a small gathering with friends, it remains one of the island’s most distinguished spots.

Local recommended the place. Waited 15 minutes for service. If you’re at the bar, they will give you service. If you’re out of eye sight, be prepared to wait. People walked by us 4 times before acknowledging us. People next to us had to ask for service twice. Good vibe, but service doesn’t match the vibe. Big disappointment.

Outstanding service, food, and microbrewery. Come and support a small business with love in its name and action. Huge supporter of local community events. Frequent live concerts, special attractions, and school fundraisers hosted. Indoor or outdoor seating available for great conversation and get togethers. Wings you will come back for time and again or was it the the smash burger or the service or was it the comraderie?

We loved this little brewery for its flagship product, Beer, which is the reason for our visit. Everything we tried was either very good or great. The Lily Belgian Tripel was awesome: crisp, clean tasting, and flavorful. The bartender was friendly and most informative. The space in the storefront location just off historic Centre Street is small and brings about a chill brewery vibe. We didn't try the food. The employees we talked to all seemed enthusiastic about First Love Brewing Pub. We wish much success for this business venture and will support it again upon a future visit (and try more of their beers).

Our first visit , read a food critic blog and she raved about the brewery. We are not big beer consumers, but we are pizza critics and I have to tell you , the Pizza is by far the best Pizza we have had in Nassau, Duval, Clay, and Flagler County. This will definitely be our Pizza joint...... I wish they did have tea options along with an Arnold Palmer though......

Was in the area visiting and had an exceptional time here. Staff were very friendly and had great suggestions. The brews were all great but the hoppy imperial lager Sonic Dissonance was our groups favorite. The pizza was delicious and the truffle fries got eaten almost as soon as they got put down for being so good. Great family place with outdoor picnic benches and plenty of indoor seating indoors for those rainy days. Will come back when in town again. Cheers!!

The restaurant offers simple, clean southern fare for brunch on weekends, featuring their famous buttermilk fried chicken & waffles and bottomless Bloody Marys & Mimosas for $20. In addition to their iconic dish, Leddy's Porch also serves flaky buttermilk biscuits that are highly recommended.
Really great place for a reasonably priced breakfast / brunch - quality of food and flavors are superb - portions are generous, biscuits are great and the homemade jams . . . WOW! Highly recommend making a reservation especially if planning to go on Saturday or Sunday morning

If I could give zero stars, I would. My daughter and I ate here today, and from the moment we walked in, we felt like a bother rather than valued guests. The hostess—who should be the first friendly face welcoming customers—was anything but. She was visibly annoyed by simply doing her job, spoke to us in a condescending tone, and even berated us in front of the entire dining room. A rude hostess sets the tone for the whole experience, and unfortunately, it only went downhill from there. The service was terrible, and the food was far below average. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority here. I truly hope the owners see this and reconsider who they have greeting their guests. A warm, welcoming atmosphere starts at the door—and today, that was completely missing. We won’t be back.

What a great history lesson coming here and seeing this huge mansion converted into a bed and breakfast with a restaurant that has great seating arrangements, wonderful food and Old charm feel. Menu was just what we needed, prices were great and food was delicious!

We had Brunch at Leddy's Porch on our vacation & we were very happy as we did. It was in a historic what seemed to be a Bed & Breakfast Hotel property. The courtyard was very nice. We sat outside. Becky was our server & did a wonderful job. The Bloody Mary was Tip Top. Things were winding down for Brunch as we were finishing & had a nice walk around the place. The bar was nice, well decorated inside. One could easily see the kitchen & it was very clean & tidy. The porch is nice for sitting on if you need to wait for your table to be ready. The outside courtyard table we sat at was nice & comfortable. If given the opportunity, we would dine here again & highly recommend Leddy's Porch.

Leddy's is one of our 2 go to's for breakfast. We highly recommend you sit outside. The view of the historic Florida House Inn is amazing and we love the huge tree growing next to the house. The food is great and our favorites are the fried green tomatoes and the Hoss. The Hoss is loaded...biscuits. Egg, bacon, and fried chicken covered in gravy. You will not be disappointed. They also have either a bottomless Mimosa or my favorite bottomless Bloody Mary (spicy).

Planned a small brunch here, was in contact with someone to plan, and then barely heard from anyone leading up to the event, until the morning of (one hour before) “we have everything ready here if you’re still coming!” So we went, easiest group of people to take care of, and I asked for the room reservation fee on my check. Waitress comes back and told me she just split it between everyone, after I asked her to put it on one. Then gets angry and annoyed stating that she now has to reprint them all, when she wouldn’t have, if she’d listened to me. Then they wanted to add gratuity to the bill with the room fee which had no food on it, and gratuity was already included with the other checks. Then, while we stepped into the bathroom, the server, and I’m guessing the event coordinator, who I still never met or saw, were all speaking poorly of us. So definitely won’t be recommending.

Shrimp and Grits were very flavorful! Grilled Pimento cheese and fries were great ! My husband enjoyed the Hoss. Service was good. Food was great.

Coquina is a vibrant outdoor restaurant situated at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Inspired by the Spanish heritage of the island, the menu features a variety of seafood and coastal dishes. One of its highlights is the tuna bowl, which combines mixed greens, pickled veggies, avocado, corn nuts, and sofrito aioli for a refreshing and delightful flavor.
Great spot for cocktails and food! Guac and quesadillas were perfect for poolside. Margaritas were top notch. Absolute 5 star service from Ari at the bar and Paige the pool server. Made our stay even more delightful. Thank you coquina, can’t wait to come back!

This place was a little hard to find as our GPS was confused about its location. Just drive directly to the Ritz, use their complimentary valet and walk through the building. Coquina is outside and to the left. The food was a little bland for the price but the drinks were great. The views are amazing and you're only steps away from the ocean.

Great food and Atmosphere! The queso was amazing and the chips were very fresh. Lots of nice seating options all with amazing views. The corn tacos were amazing. The chicken tacos has a BBQ flavor which was unexpected but very good. The service was very quick, but slowed down as the night went on. The churros were amazing and very fresh. You are steps away from the beach which is amazing. The valet is complimentary if you are eating here, even if you are not staying here making this a great options for locals looking to try something new!

FIVE Stars ALL the way!! The first five star goes to my server, JD. Great job, JD! You nailed every part of the job and then some. The Roasted Corn Tacos were outstanding! Restaurants at a coastal location aren't known for vegetarian options. Coquina, the roasted corn tacos were clearly not an afterthought meant to placate the vegetarian who snubs the signature catch of the day. With a plate of three tacos and a mix-and-match seafood/corn option, the roasted corn is a viable option to the most devout seafood aficionado.

Location, Location, Location!! grab a seat and enjoy the amazing views. Service is top notch. drink selection is great. $15 for chips and guacamole. I was looking for guacamole that was more interesting with tomato, onion, fresh lime. fish tacos were good not great. lots of moisture makes the tortilla soggy. flavor ok. I wouldn't order again.

We were not ready for how much we were going to love this place! My friend and I popped in for a quick snack and immediately fell in love! I loved that we came in during the slow season. We had the place all to ourselves, and we really enjoyed the ceviche and the sparkling lemonade. Plus, the food came out very quickly, and Miranda was excellent! We will certainly be back to Coquina. Thinking about doing it for a birthday dinner…🤔

Food is okay - location is beautiful! Poolside and walking distance to the ocean. Our service good and food came out quick. We ordered Nachos and added Shrimp and the fish of the day (Mahi) on a sandwich. I’d recommend if you’re poolside but no need to make a special trip to eat here.

Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls in Fernandina Beach offers a delightful selection of authentic lobster rolls, lobster bisque, lobster mac-and-cheese, and clam chowder. The restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience with friendly staff and well-spaced seating. Customers praise the delicious Connecticut roll with extra lobster and the classic roll, as well as the tasty clam chowder. The ambiance is charming with a nautical theme that adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Wow! Some of the freshest seafood I’ve had. They have hot and cold sandwiches, but definitely recommend the cold lobster roll. Portions were fairy, generous and we had plenty of lobster on our roll and in our lobster bisque. The staff was so friendly and helpful.
Alexandra G — Google review
I recently visited Mason Famous Lobster Rolls and tried the Connecticut lobster roll, crab roll, lobster bisque, and coleslaw. Overall, the experience was good, and the seafood flavors were spot on. The Connecticut lobster roll was flavorful with tender lobster meat and a buttery roll, while the crab roll was equally fresh and tasty. The lobster bisque had a rich, creamy texture, with a nice balance of lobster flavor that made it comforting and satisfying. The coleslaw was a nice side, adding a bit of crunch and freshness to the meal. However, I did find the prices to be on the expensive side, especially for the rolls. While the quality was solid, the portion sizes left me feeling like the cost didn’t entirely justify the meal. Additionally, I noticed that there were no vegetarian options on the menu, which might be a drawback for those who are looking for non-seafood choices. The atmosphere was nice and casual, making it a good spot for a quick seafood bite, but I would recommend it more for seafood lovers who don’t mind paying a bit extra for quality. All in all, it’s a good place to try if you’re craving lobster or crab, but keep the pricing in mind.

We stopped by here on our drive around the island. The lobster rolls were incredible! The workers have a great sense of humor, which was nice too. We sat on the patio outside and watched cars drive by. If you aren't familiar with lobster rolls, it will seem pricey at $20+ each but it is so worth it! Parking is also tricky as there's only street parking. As we were leaving some gals said we had to try the Connecticut lobster roll, which we were stuffed so hoping to try that one next time :)

Great lobster roll. Super fresh and tasty. The clam chowder was good, but very basic. I would appreciate a bit more clam. Overall great place. Will be back.
Kiryl M — Google review
Absolutely amazing lobster rolls! The lobster is incredibly fresh, perfectly buttered, and served on a soft, toasted roll. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you’re a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back for another!

We both had Lobster rolls, my husband got extra Lobster. They were delicious! My husband also ordered a grilled cheese and Lobster which neither of us will oder again. It wasn't horrible but for the price the cheese overwhelmed the Lobster. Definitely worth going. I like crab better so I'm going to go back & try the crab meat roll next time.

Harris Teeter is a large supermarket chain known for its deli and bakery departments, as well as health and beauty aids. The store offers the freshest and highest-quality meats, seafood, and produce. It also features a Fresh Foods Market with deli items, baked goods, and chef-prepared meals for entertaining. Some customers have noted the store's clean upscale appearance but have also mentioned issues with the hot bar food quality at certain times.
This is the only one in Florida per Google. And I love Harris teeter. I drove 2 hours to this location and I would be crazy to do it again. But I love their variations of selections. It would be great to place one in Gainesville (hint hint). Wishful thinking though! But Harris Teeter is a great grocery store. Consider it!
Jasmen P — Google review
Harris Teeter has its own unique products. I really enjoy going shopping there. I live about 30-35 miles away. I wish there was one closer to me. I enjoy there store brand products. There products are high quality products. There is a Starbucks inside the grocery store. They have a prime rib meal to take home on Thursdays for right around $20. Thursday is also senior day which can save you 5% , but you have to be a VIC member and at least 60 yrs of age. They make excellent subs and have a pizza day on Mondays. Pizza is under $10 for a big pizza pie. They have a little bar called Ale & Vine for wine and beer. Your near the beach for a picnic and a bunch of unique shops around Harris Teeter.

Harris Teeter – Gate is a fantastic store to shop at. I hadn’t visited this chain in over 20 years, but returning in 2025 was a pleasant surprise. It’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown since I last shopped there in the early 2000s. The store layout is excellent—well-organized and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience even better. I appreciated the smooth and simple checkout process, ample parking, and the wide variety of products available. I also noticed they carry many organic items under the same brand as Kroger, which was a great find. Overall, it was a much better experience than shopping at Publix.

I recently visited Harris Teeter and was really impressed by how clean and well-maintained the store was. The aisles were spotless, everything was neatly organized, and the overall atmosphere felt fresh and welcoming. It made my shopping experience so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a tidy and well-kept grocery store!

Best drink prices on Amelia island. Incredibly nice bar staff. Prime rib dinner for $17 and it is huge. Beautiful produce section and nice wine selection. All teeters need bars!!
Consuelo L — Google review
Nicer than any other Harris teeter or Kroger. This one was recently remodeled and they also carry lots of cool healthy options not available at other stores. Even late at night they had plenty of options like picked rotisserie chicken and salads. Already cooked shrimp. They were out of good culture cottage cheese just like everywhere else.

Excellent customer service. Special thanks to Manager Gary that helped me locate a special brand of dried beans! We are fortunate to have such a wonderful grocery store on the island.

If you're looking for a spine-tingling adventure, the Ghost Tours of Amelia Island offer an unforgettable experience steeped in history and mystery. These captivating walking tours take you through the island's haunted homes and eerie graveyards, revealing chilling tales from its storied past filled with piracy and paranormal activity. As night falls, you'll embark on a journey that uncovers the secrets lurking in Fernandina Beach, where ghostly encounters are not just folklore but part of the fabric of this enchanting locale.
We had a great time on our ghost tour. We go to a ghost tour in every city we visit, and this was one of the best ghost tours we have been on. The tour guide really knows her stuff and tells good stories while showing cool pictures from past tours. This was one of the most legit and spooky tours I’ve been on.
Michael H — Google review
This tour was purchased for us as part of our honeymoon, we arrived ahead of time but the Guide did not show up for the pub crawl. We saw another guide who was just finishing the regular tour and told us our guide should be there shortly. We found out after checking the website that our tour had been cancelled, zero notification from the company to us or anyone else booked on. The other 7 people booked on the tour were locals so we went on our own ghost tour that one gets a 5 star review. The official paid for tour 0/10.

Colleen was a wonderful tour guide. She is a great story teller and the entire tour was fascinating. Even if you don’t believe in ghosts, the historical knowledge she has will keep you interested the whole time. Definitely recommend!
Lindsey H — Google review
We did the bar crawl and had a blast! Colleen is a great guide and really pulls you into the local legends. She went above and beyond for the tour and you can tell she loves ghost hunting and she brought some ghost hunting equipment. Would definitely recommend. It's not just bars she does houses and bars and it's a lot more fun and you can hear. Some bar crawls they just go in bars and it's loud this one is laid out great!
Kris K — Google review
We did the haunted bar crawl on Saturday and Colleen was so fun! She really knows the stories and history. Fernandina is a scary place!
Jaylyn D — Google review
Do not book a tour with this company. We did a haunted bar crawl and per the website were supposed to visit 3 to 4 bars. When the tour started we were immediately told only 1 to 2 bar stops for the night because 3 to 4 stops would mean the tour would be 4 hours long. The tour guide's husband took us into the 1st bar and immediately marched up to order his drink. No such thing as letting the guests go first. The tour guide showed us ghost images on an iPad zooming into pictures. Just a scam
Jeanneen B — Google review
My daughter and I went on this ghost tour on 11/13/21 it was amazing I couldn’t of asked for a better night out. The tour guides where amazing very informative and just great to hang out with. Are emf readers that they give you where lighting up all over. If you are going to Amelia island I suggest to dob this tour or any of the ones she does in going to come back by myself and do to rated R tour myself I can’t wait!!!
Alicia M — Google review
Terrible Experience – Avoid This Tour! I booked the Amelia Island Haunted Pub Crawl for a fun night out on my birthday back in early July. We were promised a haunted pub crawl with stops at several bars, but our tour guide, Colleen, never showed up. Instead, we were awkwardly merged with a family-friendly ghost tour that wasn’t what we paid for. The tour guide who took over tried to do the pub crawl at the same time as the other tour, and everything was rushed. We barely had time for one drink at the first bar, which was about to close within the last 8 minutes of being open. Despite staying on the tour for over an hour and a half, we never made it to another bar. To top it off, the souvenir we were promised never happenes either. I contacted Colleen immediately after the tour, and she promised to resolve the issue. It’s been over a month and a half, and I’ve received nothing but silence. No refund, no follow-up, nothing. After checking other reviews, I’ve found that this isn’t an isolated incident—others have had similar experiences. If you’re looking for a legitimate ghost tour, look elsewhere. This company is scamming tourists out of their money. Save your time and money, and avoid this tour at all costs!
