This restaurant has incredible views of Lake Como — truly the highlight of the experience. We ordered the Tigella, Bruschetta e Maritozzo, the ceviche, and one other dish. The food was decent but nothing memorable; you’re definitely paying for the view rather than the food. That said, the setting is beautiful and worth visiting if you’re looking for a scenic spot. Be sure to make a reservation — they turned away a couple ahead of us who didn’t have one, and it gets noticeably busier in the evenings.

The service was exceptional, quick and the staff was very polite. The food and drinks were all value for money. Would totally recommend the experience.

Terrazza was not only an incredible restaurant with amazing views and amazing food, it had incredible staff. We were served by our waiter, Luca, who made my wife and I's final night in Italy for our Honeymoon incredibly special. His knwodlege of wine pairings is spot on. On top of that, the truffle mushroom risotto and the veal we got made for one of the best meals we had throughout all of Italy on our two week trip. I cannot recommend the restaurant enough, but also make sure you ask for Luca. He made the dinner that much more special.

Overpriced and Inedible The restaurant was just as disappointing as the hotel. The food and cocktails were shockingly bad — bland, poorly prepared, and far from fresh. Despite the ridiculous prices, not a single dish was worth the money. Avoid it entirely — you’re better off eating anywhere else.

We stayed one night at the wonderful Hilton Lake Como. We were ending our trip in Continental Europe and after a hectic a few days in Rome, it was the perfect location to chill. The hotel view is just amazing, and the hotel itself is simply wonderful. We had lunch dinner, and breakfast at their Terrazza 241, and had the most amazing experience. The staff treated us with a lot of respect, and ensured the experience would be perfect. Dinner was a special early birthday celebration and it was simply unforgettable.

Came for the view and an evening drink. Enjoyed tasty tidbits and the atmosphere. Bartenders attended to our needs swiftly and with a smile. The hostess was lovely, friendly and accommodating. The drinks and tasty treats offered were top-notch. The cost was reasonable. The views...outstanding. Loved it here and would return again for dinner another time.

If you are staying multiple nights in Varena, then La Vista should be on your list as the view at sunset is unparalleled! Like most nice restaurants in Italy, make sure you have a reservation for dinner no matter what day of the week it is. The service here was slow and they seemed to continually assist other tables over our own. We sat with not even wine or bread for almost 30 minutes. The food was hit or miss for us. The risotto was by far the most tasty dish and all of us enjoyed the main courses; however, the desserts all fell short. The tiramisu was dry in the middle and the crème brûlée had split. All in all, we would still go back for the breathtaking view of Lake Como!

We showed up at the perfect time as someone was just leaving and so we were seated within a few minutes for dinner without a reservation. We were seated right by the window and enjoyed a beautiful view for a few minutes while the sun set. I got the risotto special which was perfectly cooked and incredible flavor. My husband got the mushroom ravioli which he really liked. I also got the dessert special of the day which was caramelized peaches with a cream and crumble and it was amazing!! My husband got the chocolate mousse which he said was so chocolatey and paired perfectly with the raspberry sauce they give you.

We loved having Lo Scalo as our neighbourhood bar, just around the corner from us, even if we were just in the area for a couple of days. Brilliant and inventive cocktails - our favourite was the Bugiallo - and beers from the Milanese brewery Vedra. We enjoyed the range of dishes to have with our aperitivi, the perfect lakeside location and the very friendly welcome.

Every year I try to visit this place. The cocktails are really nice and creative. The place is beautiful and the service is really good. See you again in June!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was wonderful (corner terrace suite), and service at the main restaurant and pool restaurant was good. I docked two stars because the service at the lobby outside bar was absolutely horrible. We experienced this two nights in a row, and then did not attempt to go back after that. Also the spa was great in terms of facilities, however we were not offered towels, robes, or a locker which we felt was very odd. Unfortunately overall the service was a miss for us. When paying this much for a hotel you want to feel like a valued guest.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable experience. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a Suite as it was our honeymoon. The concierge team warmly welcomed us, and when we opened our room door, they had our wedding song playing, accompanied by champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, sweets, a framed picture of us, and hand-written notes. It was the most thoughtful gesture. The staff goes ABOVE and BEYOND every moment the stay and it is truly extraordinary. Every minute we spent at the hotel was heaven. The suite, view, amenities, pools, spa, gardens, etc were absolutely stunning, luxe, and we couldn't get enough. Everything was personalized and we felt extremely well cared for. We had an OUTSTANDING dinner (tip: get the risotto and beef wellington!) and the most incredible breakfast buffet we had ever seen. Our server, Diogo, blew us away with his elegance, knowledge and care - he made our dining experiences magical. We had an amazing time visiting Grand Hotel Tremezzo. We watched sunset from the bar and enjoyed delicious cocktails before heading to dinner at La Terazza. It was a very elegant experience. My husband and I shared the beef wellington which was perfect! The saffron risotto was also exceptional. We will be back!

If you make one stop to drink and eat while in Bellagio, let this be it! Was recommended by our local host and the experience was so good we returned multiple times during our stay in Bellagio. Incredible selection of wines and very friendly and knowledgeable staff (special shoutout to Matteo!). They will ship wines all over the world as well for reasonable prices so a great opportunity to get your hands on some Italian wines from small producers that you will not find in the States.

The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—special thanks to Norberto, who made our experience even more enjoyable with his warm hospitality and great wine recommendations. The wine menu is fantastic, with a well-curated selection to suit any palate. It’s the perfect spot for meats, cheeses, and a light lunch. A hole in the wall wine bar with some of the nicest, most hospitable staff we’ve had the pleasure of encountering. Due to the rain, seating was limited so we were invited to the bar while we waited where we were given tasters of different products, both meats and wines, while we waited for a table to be ready. All the staff were so kind to us, and were chatting along even though they were busy. The staff is all clearly passionate, and they put out super high quality products. I couldn’t recommend it more.

A Hidden Gem in Bellagio Bellagio in Lake Como is filled with seemingly nice restaurants—some are tourist traps, while others are the real deal. Enoteca is tucked away on one of the tiny, winding uphill streets of Bellagio, and it truly is a hidden gem. The food is simple yet very tasty, and the service was good as well. I highly recommend trying the cold fish dish, which is the local version of lox—absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for an authentic experience away from the crowds, Enoteca is definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful spot. Delicious wine and I was obsessed with the honey (almost bought some) that came with the cold cuts platter. Olives were fantastic, too.

We had a fabulous wine tasting and lunch here. They had incredible charcuterie boards that were gluten free and fresh (you could watch them shave the meats) The wine collection was INCREDIBLE. Off the beaten path and def recommend!

Came here thinking there would be live music, and was disappointed there was not. However, the place was inviting, the atmosphere was very nice and dimmed down, and the service was nice. The food and drinks were spot on, and made me glad to have stayed. I'd suggest it for a sexy date place with a great selection of Jazz music playing in the background. Enjoy!!!

Lovely place, highly recommend. The location is just amazing, very pretty area of Como. We sat in a more intimate place away from the large seating area, our preference. There is also indoor seating. Menu was good, food was tasty. Didn’t like the desserts as much as I wanted to, they just seemed “shop bought” and put on a plate. Waitress was great even though she ended her shift part way through our meal, she made a point of saying goodbye. Prices were acceptable

Unforgettable night at Vintage Jazz and Wine in Como! Amazing ambience, friendly staff, and top-notch live jazz. We stopped for a drink outside in the early evening, had a couple, then stayed for dinner. Good, varied menu, reasonably priced for Como, but the highlight was the staff, who couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive. Definitely 5⭐️. Would love to come back when there’s a jazz band playing.

Really great first impressions, cocktails were absolutely fantastic and the live music was very enjoyable! However, we ordered the angus steak, which was chewy, extremely undercooked (raw, after specifying that it should be medium rare) and tough. The filet, which was asked to be medium, was medium rare but well cooked and tender. The portions are also a bit small. Overall an okay place to eat, drinks are great but food isn’t the best we’ve had in Como, especially for the price.

What an exceptional cocktail bar. The owner pours his heart onto each creation. Lots of personal touches from his own garden. The selection of spirits are incredible. We even got to enjoy a sweet homemade treat after our beverages. Highly recommended must stop.

If I could rate this 10/5 I would. It was an incredible experience. We were greeted with small, homemade desserts. There are no menus, which at first I was leery of, but I ended up having the best Negroni of my life. I'm typically not a Negroni fan - this changed my opinion completely. Everything is homemade and so incredibly thoughtful. I cannot recommend this enough - it's a must stop on your trip to Como.

Outstanding cocktail bar. Great vibe, attentive and helpful, friendly bar staff. Best cocktail bar I've been to in my life (from a long list...) and delicious cocktails too! They were happy to let me try a bit of one to help make up my mind of what to buy. Excellent atmosphere too - cosy but classy. They had menus (which seems to have been a complaint of older reviews). Nico who was our waiter was exceptional, and the other bar staff checked in and were friendly (before it got busy later in the evening). If you're thinking of going, do it!

The gent serving me was more than helpful and clued up when it came to the best cocktails. All bartenders were polite and I would definitely go again if I was in and around the area. The bar was a lovely intimate setting with a great atmosphere and soothing music.

We came in to find a bottle of Italicus, none there, but came out more than happy. We had a warming and welcoming experience. There was a great selction (orange vermouth from Sicily, was outstanding) of vermouths and other liqours and a great cocktail list. One of the best negronis I have ever had. As a bartender I apprceited the service; attention to detail and generosity were exceeding all expectations. Thank you for letting us try the bottles we bought! And your camomile amaro was outstanding!

A smaller café in Bellagio at the lake Cuomo. The shakerato was average, the cappuccino quite delicious. Service was average, the atmosphere okay.

A notable breakfast place in Lake Como. Plenty of seats outside so you can have coffee with a nice view! Ours had cars blocking it so that’s a minus-1 haha. But cornetto and coffee were good, pancakes- nothing special😊 Overall a great place to start before a whole day of getting around Como.

The place is nice but the waiters are very rude and not helpful at all. The chocolate croissant was a fraud and they were not ready to listen to our opinion. I do not recommend coming here.

Found this place while driving around the lake… beautiful lakeside setting. A small parking is adjacent so it made for an easy place to visit, fortunately not too crowded when we arrived. Seating right on the lake in addition to tables just outside the butcher shop. Food and drinks were great, and service friendly. A brief 20 minute wait for a table, but it’s a nice place to hang in the meantime. 😎

They have a very limited number of dishes to choose from, and you have to choose and pay for the side dish separately. The plating of the dishes is very good for sharing. The food itself was pretty good, the chickens was so soft and coated with delicious olive oil. The meatballs were a little surprising, they had a very strong meat flavour but no sauce or anything like that. The staff was extremely polite and friendly.

A very memorable dining experience in Italy from Da Luciano. The weather was perfect when we visited so the view added to the great experience. Food is tasty, not the best but worth to try. They served warm, soft bread, yummy cheese and meat. We ordered the rabbit: flavor is good but the meat was not as tender as expected. They also serve good coffee and wine. Highly recommended place in the Como area.

Such a beautiful view! Great small bites, drinks, and amazing gelato! Not really a restaurant per se but if you want something f heavier the steak was excellent as was green salad. Ridiculously good value as well. Expect a 20-30min wait at minimum.

Location are good, Staffs are great even communicate with us in English. Meat n Cheese platter was good too. Meat ball, Chicken leg and steak was soso.

Most places that have an amazing view usually have lackluster food but this restaurant is the exception. The food was phenomenal! We shared the T-bone steak, Caprese salad, Hugo Spritz, Strawberry and Lemon gelato and an espresso and we somehow only paid €60. They also give you a meat and cheese board complimentary. Highly recommend this restaurant!

This is a must visit bar in Laglio. Amazing food, super friendly and beautiful lakeside views. A real gem! Excellent "small plate" menu. Everything is excellent. My personal favourite is the Meatballs. Family owned and run and, you can tell how good it is as it is frequented by locals! Reservations are not taken but worth the wait as turnover of tables is quite quick.

Nice cafe in the city center. Friendly stuff and fast service. Coke 0,33l 5€ (quite expensive) but the coffee was cheap. Good place to have a break, I would recommend it ⭐️

It was an amazing cocktail, and it was very charming bar. Having complimentary food was also a great addition to the bar. The only reason for 4 stars is the lack of personality from staff, and the barman was slightly rude to the waitress, which impacted the atmosphere.

The elegant vibe of Brothers is perfect for outdoor seating, a date night or even a fun yet upscale dining experience. We had the Salmon Salad which was massive and fresh with great vegetables. The best Risotto fungi with small discs of beef tartar that was so very well made that I will actually miss it. I cannot wait to return and enjoy a bottle of Chianti and this exact dish again. The Waitress was very unfriendly. At first, she waited like half an hour to take our order. In that time she saw us waving and pretended that she didn‘t saw us. She was on her phone and went Smoking. After we got our food, she didn‘t Even ask if the food was okay, she didn’t Said a thing. And the Best thing was, when we wanted to pay, the other waitress did that. Then my friend saw, that she gave herself a 4€ tip, although he Said Nothing for tip… That was very disappointed… the food was okay

Nice place to try many different croissants and grab a coffee. Interior has very nice photos and details that you wanna check out. Came back to this place after 20:00. It was a bar then. The cocktails are really good and they have a lot of different kinds that aren't on menu Also with cocktails they brought plate of snacks

Cute little bar with some decent Pinsas! Also the prices are reasonable, especially for the location directly at a beautiful Piazza. Service is either amazing or horrible. There were two girls around- one welcoming and friendly and the other one obviously hating to be there/hating humans. Don’t take it personally if you are doomed to have her for service 😂✌🏼

The food, drinks, and service were just perfect. There is a reason for the high rating. It is a small place on a small street, but it was great.

Rude guy serving us acted like he owns the world with attitude I have not seen around lake Como where they want to serve and be nice to their customers. Pretty place but because of this one particular server we left before ordering.

To my fellow Americans- beware. The people in this small village all know each other and do not seem to appreciate Americans being around. My family and I were glared at, and ignored on 2 separate occasions trying to get some food to eat. Both times we were told “no food” only to then watch as Italians were served food right in front of us with smiles. My family and I did not feel safe in this area since it seemed like it was occupied by some religious cult. The only other place to get food nearby requires a reservation and is only open on very limited hours. My advice to you my American friends is to stay in downtown Bellagio and avoid this area altogether. I only hope that someday I can return the favor to these people.

We stopped in the area to walk around. We had the special of the day which was a sausage and sauerkraut sandwich. It had dijon mustard and the bread was amazing. I had a cappuccino and a croissant. The croissant was superb and so was the sandwich. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. Nestled in the narrow streets, it was very charming and full of ambiance.

Lovely little bar, quite out of the way and just up a back street but would definitely recommend a visit. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine and they also passed through a small tray of pizza and garlic bites.

My only complaint is all the tables are for smokers and there were a few who were constantly smoking, though I understand this is the standard in Italy…

We had a truly pleasant experience at this restaurant sitting in the coctail part. Our waiter was extremely professional and friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. The wine was beautifully presented, adding a touch of elegance to the evening. We brought our dog along and without even having to ask, he offered water, a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. As an extra treat, we received some deliciously prepared snacks served in a creative and original way. The background music was tasteful and stylish, perfectly complementing the atmosphere and giving the place a unique character. Highly recommended for both food and ambiance.

As a local been to Terrazza Olmo quite a few times after approximately a half year absence it was shocking to see how rapidly has this restaurant deteriorated. The food is barely edible (by Italian standards) and the service although courteous has a makeshift feel to it. Was is really concerning is the food, what used to be a reasonably upscale place where they offered gourmet pizzas and an overall rich menu became a shadow of itself. Prices seem to have increased, service worsened and the food is frankly terrible. Not sure what happened, but management needs to rectify this asap…otherwise it will be yet another failed restaurant venture adjacent to Villa Olmo and that’s a crying shame!

Highly recommended at near Lake Como😄 We visited there for lunch and restaurant manager told us that we were the first customer after they re-opened the restaurant. All though service was excellent and food was good. This restaurant is located just by lake and it is worth just visiting👍 overall everything was perfect and became one of the memorable lunch during our trip in Italy. Terrace area is fully covered with sealed and we could have table there even it was raining.

Overall a good restaurant. Food was good, though no Pizza was possible. Hard to understand why, but ok. Quality of the pasta we took was high. Would have been 5 stars if we could buy a pizza. Service was ok. We couldn't sit near the lake side because it was 'reserved'... The entire lake side seats were empty up untill we left (we were there for almost 2 hours). Besides that the service was friendly and good. Atmosphere was excellent, great view of the lake and great looking restaurant.

What a hidden gem at Como. I passed it many times as I think this is way too pricey. Until now - we went for lunch and of course, we paid more, but hey - that is Como. The taste of the food was absolutely irresistible, you do need salt or pepper, all the flavours are bursting in your mouth. Incredibly well balanced taste. Service was impeccable, we are quite demanding customers, but were very happy with everything. And yes, the view was incredible bonus.

The cooking style is fine and extraordinary tasty. All is decorated nicely. If you want only a drink a special Bar area is available. Sure its definitely not low cost, but compared with the offered over all quality its valid each Euro. 101% recommendation for this superb Restaurant. Definitely must see!!

Unfortunately my only good thing to talk about was the food and the staff. The rooms, mainly the Pavillion is directly next to a massive construction project that NO ONE mentioned. Every morning at 6:50am we were rattled by jackhammering - it was like it was coming through the walls! One of our guests staying in another villa experienced zero air conditioning for their entire 3 day stay. The property management didn't seem to care, or shall i say they didn't care at all - not about the absurd amount of construction and the no air. In fact, the front desk lied and never had anyone contact us or offer any adjustments to our final bill. I would highly recommend to whoever reads this to NOT STAY at Villa Lario unless they have the construction completed. It looks like a 5 year build to me - make sure you ask, or you will regret it when you try and get some sleep on a beautiful Lake Como vacation! The food was amazing! The servers were amazing! That's all that was good and unfortunately didn't outweigh the entire experience that was ruined by construction and guests that were not attended to appropriately.

My partner and I stayed at this beautiful hotel at the end of July and we had the most amazing experience. Everything about this hotel is so picturesque, we stayed in the corner suite which had many windows overlooking the beautiful lake aswell as a balcony. Staff were very lovely and helpful, food and drinks were amazing. It was truly the best stay, would highly recommend

My husband and I just stayed here for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! The service was fantastic (we asked for a couple more bottles of water and within 2 mins we had 6 bottles of water delivered to our room) and the staff were so kind! They did an outstanding job making sure we were taken care of and felt at home. It was also one of the most stunning places we have ever stayed and you can tell it is kept up very well. We had a hard time leaving and will definitely be back!

Great place to stay, I was there for a few nights on my honeymoon! The view from the rooms are absolutely spectacular and that alone could give it 5 stars. The staff were very accommodating, professional and kind. The cocktails were amazing and we loved having after dinner drinks by the fire! It was a great end to the evening. Villa Lario is a vibe and I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights. During the process of moving my luggage, my tablet PC was completely destroyed—it no longer turns on—and a cherished bottle of wine, which was a gift from a close friend, was broken. As a result, my clothes and bag were also damaged. However, I have yet to receive any response or offer of compensation from the hotel. The hotel is composed of multiple buildings connected by elevators, making luggage transport quite difficult. Despite this, only one staff member was assigned to handle all of my belongings—unacceptable for a long-term traveler carrying multiple bags. This likely increases the risk of damage, and yet the hotel seems completely indifferent to such incidents. In addition, compared to other hotels in the same price range, this hotel appears to be severely understaffed. At the restaurant, it took an unreasonably long time just to place an order, and the staff were clearly overwhelmed throughout the entire mealtime, making it impossible to enjoy a relaxed dining experience. To make matters worse, when we ordered the same pasta dish we had enjoyed the night before, it arrived tasting completely different—so much so that all four of us at the table were genuinely shocked.

We had a dinner reservation at Villa Bianca restaurant a few days ago (21/4), and the food was great, the atmosphere was very nice, the view was exceptional, and the staff were very helpful and very kind. It was our first time in Como, so it was also our first time in your restaurant, but we will definitely make a new reservation not just for the restaurant but for the hotel as well, when we visit again!

Villa Lario and their team was amazing. Incredibly accommodative to requests, wonderful setting, great food, staff with personality, and more. Not to mention the dock and chairs were a great place to take it all in.

Stayed at the hotel and ate here for dinner. Wait staff is slow and not very responsive. The atmosphere here is awesome with a great view of the lake. Everyone loved their food and tasted great. Not a huge selection of food. Pizzas are very small (just a warning).

Take me back!!! One of the greatest bars in Lake Como with such great vibes. Really great staff, if you’re lucky to experience the Dj, it just takes the place to a whole next level. If you’re in Lake Como please give this a try, even if it’s just one drink, you’ll thank me later! (I love how they have specific ice cubes for each drink/ glass. That attention to detail is what keeps you going back)

Although looked like a tourist trap kind of bar at first look, I was very pleased with the quality of the cocktails and the service. Nice atmosphere and very friendly service. My cocktails were delicious. Gin basil cocktail was great. I would go back and highly recommend.

Such a charming spot right by the water! Garden Bar Ceccato in Lake Como was the perfect place to relax with a drink and take in the stunning views. The atmosphere is laid-back but elegant, with a beautiful garden setting and the lake just steps away. We enjoyed aperitifs and light bites — everything was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe made it one of our favorite stops during our time in Como. Highly recommend for a peaceful drink with a view!

Our visit to Vineria Vitani in Como's old town was a charming experience. The highlight was trying two different types of bubbly, each with its own unique and delightful taste. The selection of wines available was impressive, showcasing a variety of choices for different palates. The ambiance of the place, nestled in the picturesque old town, added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. However, it's worth noting that the prices for wine by the glass were on the higher side. Despite this, Vineria Vitani remains a great spot for wine enthusiasts looking for quality and variety in a beautiful setting.

Awesome place with massive selection of wines. Jonathon knows his wine and can explain them all! He selected a wine for us to sample, we finished the bottle! A few nice snacks with delicious wine in a comfortable location and a great host. Coming back.

This place is amazing! The selection of wines is inspiring and the staff are incredible, they can’t help you enough. Andrea was brilliant both times we visited on our trip to Como, we can’t wait to return next year!

The service, atmosphere, venue, selection of wine and snacks on offer was amazing. Andrea the sommelier who looked after us was fantastic. His recommendations suited us perfectly. He didn't simply reach for the top shelf. He took time to understand what we like. He picked a bottle at circa 60 euro which to date is the best wine I have tried anywhere. He followed the Barolo with a Barbaresco of a similar value and we were amazed by how well the second bottle followed the first. I thought it was going to be a tall order to follow such a good first bottle. He nailed it. We had some local cold cuts and cheeses with local honey. We had foie gras on toast and all of the snacks were perfect accompaniments. We were so impressed we returned a couple of days later. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you to Andrew and all the staff who made us feel so welcome and took such great care of us.

Went one day for the atmosphere. Came back the next for the excellent wine and service. Highly recommended ✨

AMAZING!! My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in August. Everything about this hotel was spectacular from the moment you drive down their windy driveway to the welcome lobby which boasts incredible high ceilings with stunning views of the lake. I also can’t forget the glass of champagne offered at check in. We got there early and they let us use the spa area to change and hangout at the pool, I think it’s the best pool on the Lake. Our room was breath taking, they said they upgraded us based on availability which I thought was so kind of them. I can’t thank The Mandarin Oriental enough for such a memorable experience. Truly a dream.

This hotel is in a stratosphere of its own, paired with a stunning location in an area of outstanding natural beauty. I have been throughly spoilt and nothing else will compare now. Service was always attentive, prompt and sincere without being suffocating. Food was made with the highest quality ingredients, and cooked to remarkable perfection. A shuttle runs guests to Como Town. A perfect paradise and definitely the sort of hotel that you’d only see in movies.

My wife and I had the most amazing honeymoon. The staff was so incredible, they took great care of us. They were available for anything we needed, and very helpful with everything. The concierge gave some great recommendations for things to do in Como, and even helped book some things. They were very accommodating with setting up the hotel car or taxis for us to get around. The restaurants are all amazing, and the spa is so relaxing. Such a great experience there. I can’t say enough good things about the team working at the hotel. They truly went above and beyond. The rooms themselves are so comfortable. Very clean, modern, honestly you could lay in them all day.

Amazing hotel on lake Como! The service was incredible at the mandarin hotel on lake Como I believe this is one of the most beautiful hotels you can stay at with beautifully maintained grounds and private villa rooms it’s truly special! The food was very good as well as the service. The location is close to Como city center so only take 15 min and they have a hourly shuttle so makes it easy ! The concierge was super helpful arranging all of our activities! The spa is also top class if you’re going to Lake Como this is the place to stay .

Got a table towards the end of lunch without a reservation and it was one of the best (if not best) meals of the trip. The pasta was amazing, with the flavors of the cheese perfectly shining through. Eggplant Parmesan was incredible; everything about it felt elevated. Affogato was a delicious end to the meal. While we didn't need to put down a 100 Euro deposit for a reservation, I wouldn't hesitate to do it. This place is definitely worth it!

I was super nervous that I wouldn’t be able to get a table as they don’t accept reservations online or by phone. For dinner, you can secure a reservation for a €100+ cash deposit. I arrived at exactly noon for lunch and despite their signage stating that they were full and stanchions blocking entry, I called over the host and asked for a table for two. He sat us immediately. Despite the restaurant being rather empty, the host did cherry pick who he allowed to dine there. I couldn’t really tell what the requirements were but he seemed to choose tourists that weren’t dressed like tourists, those that greeted him, and those with small parties. If a crowd formed, he would deny everyone lined up. Despite the reviews about the host and staff, they treated us incredibly well, stopping by multiple times to check in and ensure we were enjoying our meals. The food was also good! I got the lamp chops which i’d recommend. If you can’t get in for dinner, try lunch! I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re visiting Varenna.

Sublime and spectacular. We shared the piping-hot melted tomme cheese and grilled vegetable starter. My husband devoured his gorgeous rib-eye steak while I had the sea bass. For dessert? A shared cheesecake topped with crumbled crisp meringue and perfect raspberries. We feel so well fed and cared for.

This restaurant is one of, if not the best restaurants in Varenna. The food was prepared perfectly and presentation was breathtaking. Service excellent. And very reasonably priced

The lamb chops were sooo good!! The bread they served was also fresh and delicious — I especially loved the green one, maybe it had pistachio in it. I’ll definitely visit this restaurant again if I come back to Varenna!

Beautiful patio, impeccable service, amazing food! I think you'll almost certainly need a reservation made in person a day or more before. We stopped by on Wednesday to reserve a table for Thursday, and had no trouble. But during dinner we watched everyone without a reservation get turned away! Very worth the effort.

One of the best meals we had in Italy, everything we ordered was a standout dish. Highly recommend the lake fish mains or the tasting platter which came with fish pâté, grilled fish and their smoked local speciality. We also enjoyed the lamb chops and porcini beef lasagna, which were plated wonderfully and packed full of flavour — even the sautéed veggies, potato gratin and small fruits on the side were top-notch! The pavlova and warmed peach cake with ice cream were the perfect sweet notes to end our meal. Really appreciate the service here too. The staff were so kind to seat us even though we arrived 30min before their closing time for lunch, and never rushed us through the meal even past their lunch opening hours. They remained friendly and attentive throughout! Thank you for a great meal here.

The only good thing about this place is the view of the lake. The food is pretty awful so does the drinks. I had the bolognese pasta the portion is tiny and the noodle is undercooked and there’s barely meat in the sauce. My partner had lasagna , it looks nothing like a lasagna and didn’t taste good either. There’s a very big menu of cocktails. I had the basil smash, but it’s overly sweet and artificial flavor and color added looks lime green. The outdoor space with view is limited and very tight. Service is pretty bad, can hardly get anyone’s attention.

Stopped by Varenna Café Bistrot for a quick break. The pistachio and berry tart and coffee were just okay—nothing exceptional, but still enjoyable. What really stood out were the serene views, which made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The service was a bit slow, which took away from the overall experience slightly, but the setting definitely made up for it. A nice spot to unwind by the water, just be prepared for a bit of a wait.

The ambience is unbeatable! The view of the Lake Como with the sun setting is mesmerizing. The Carbonara and tortellini was good but not amazing. The cocktails complimented the food good well. The service was courteous too..

The location by the lake is absolutely stunning. Our waiter was friendly, fun, and gave excellent recommendations for drinks—perfect if you want an authentic Italian experience. Both the main courses and desserts were delicious—simple, pure, and very satisfying. We especially enjoyed the saffron risotto and the Bolognese tortellini. Highly recommended!

Magical place for breakfast/lunch/dinner. At the foot of the Lago de Como, it is inspiring place. The coffee shop is a mix of sophistication with the town italian style that makes it truly worth to visit. The waiters are attentive and polite. I highly recommend this restaurant.

No frills- solid food at fair prices with one of the best views in town. We ordered bruschetta, which was two large thick slices of bread with very tasty toppings. They also offer regional wines that they will recommend if you ask. And if you like negronis, definitely order their green negroni! It was one of the best I’d had- still bitter and balanced but a little more herbaceous.

Varenna Caffè Bistrot became our go-to breakfast spot—and for good reason! The menu offered a delicious variety of options, from fresh pastries to hearty plates, all beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, with lovely views of the lake. Best of all, the service was consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Food was good and tasty, quick to come out as well. Didn’t wait long for a table but there were 2 hairs in my food, the waitress immediately ordered another one for me. Had to order a drink though, wouldn’t let me just order food. Atmosphere 3 due to no view. Nice menu, has wifi and toilet.

Incredible food! Lunch / dinner slots fill up fast! Food here was very good. The octopus starter was to die for. One of my favorite starters I’ve ever had. Best octopus dish. It was cooked perfect and tasted amazing. Went well with the chickpea purée underneath. So delicious. The gnocchi was delicious as well. Cooked perfect. The lamb shank was huge and great. My wife and I went to Il Cavatappi on our very first night in Italy as part of our honeymoon, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable meals we’ve ever had. We did all four courses and stayed for about two and a half hours—it was perfect. The servers were so kind, fun, and welcoming, which made the evening even more special. We arrived early without a reservation and were lucky to get a table outside, but I highly recommend making a reservation. Don’t be fooled by the line at the neighboring spot—this is where you want to eat. The food was outstanding: the creamiest, freshest burrata, incredible pasta, and perfectly cooked lamb. We shared a bottle of delicious wine from Cascina Chicco, and everything paired beautifully. The atmosphere outside in the center of Varenna was magical—great for people-watching and just soaking in the town. Il Cavatappi is truly a gem, and we can’t wait to return on our next trip to Varenna. Absolutely unforgettable.

My wife and I ate here when we stayed in Varenna this past May. We had the meat and cheese board followed by the pasta with Duck Ragu accomplices by a lovely Barolo. We were in Italy for 23 days and this one of our highlights. The food was fresh and flavourful and the location with the tables set right along the narrow street is magical. I will be chasing that Duck Ragu flavour for a while.

Me and my wife had our honeymoon meal in Il Cavatappi. We were welcomed without a reservation and the service from the moment you enter is impeccable. We decided to have the Caprese salad to start which was wonderful. The stand out of the evening however was the highly recommended lamb shank with berries. It falls off the bone and is the best meal I've had since being in Italy. My wife had the lemon ravioli which was bursting with lemon flavour and obviously skillfully made. I felt like every place I'd been to in Varenna and Belaggio up until that point was a little tourist trap, however Il Cavatappi felt different. It felt as if we were somewhere special, somewhere we'd been looking for. It really was worth the hype.

Excellent fast service in a beautiful restaurant in Como. Had lunch and dinner here, both times great. Service was welcoming, fast and attentive. Good came out quickly and tasted great. Lovely location in a quiet area in Como. Best gluten free pizza and pasta I have ever eaten 😊

I am so glad we found this gem in Como. The food is amazing, we ordered about 5 dishes and all of them were made fresh and with high quality ingredients. Bit to mention the flavors were so good! Also, the service was fantastic. The waiters were so nice and accommodating, and they treated us very well. I will definitely come back here when I’m in Como again.

We ate here twice, and both times it was spectacular! The menu had great variety and a creative flare! The pizza Cinque Terre is an example - goat cheese pesto and olives. And the pizza Frutti de Mare was loaded with fresh seafood! It’s a must try. Super friendly staff. And I even got an Italian lesson.

If you're a tourist, order your meal from the menu and don't rely on the waiter or the restaurant manager recommendation. At least check the price of each dish before paying. This way, you don't have to pay double the price, as happened to me at this restaurant, which ruined its delicious food and beautiful setting with fraud and deception.

It's a terrible place. Of all the restaurants in Como this is the worst. It takes too long to get your order, water, food. Due to my allergies, I can't eat certain foods, so I asked for a substitute and they offered to pay for the side dish, which I've never seen done before (please eat the bad-quality crackers yourself). This place doesn't have bad service, it just doesn't have any. I've never encountered anything like this. It's terrifying. And this place full of tourists, and I assume it's a standard tourist destination. This is the first and last time I'll visit it.

I had the Paccheri allo scoglio. We have just spent 2 weeks travelling around Italy and this was my favourite dish. The bar tender on learning it was our last night shared a shot with Me. 5/5

I had such a great experience here! The menu has lots of options, and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and professional, and the service was fast. The place has a really nice vibe — perfect for both a casual meal or a special night out. Definitely one of the best spots in town.

We have visited many places in Italy from the Amalfi coast to Venice to Lake Como. This gem of a find was exquisite. The food was outstanding! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. The ambience was breathtaking. The service was top notch, and the hospitality was so warm and inviting we went back more than once. The owner came out to personally check on us to ensure everything met our satisfaction. It not only met it, it exceeded it. This wonderful restaurant is a must visit on your next trip to Lake Como! My only regret is leaving this beautiful place and not being able to enjoy another meal at Momi!

Ristorante Momi in Como is the kind of place that stays in your memory long after the meal ends. Having lunch by the lake feels magical, with the water sparkling under the sun and the gentle breeze setting the perfect mood. The food is beautifully prepared, full of flavor and elegance in every bite. The service is warm and attentive, making you feel truly welcome. The owner and manager are genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch that makes the experience even more special. It’s one of those rare places where everything feels just right.

The chef/owner was very welcoming. I shows up at 8:40 with a party of 8 (kitchen closes at 9). Still we received excellent service and dessert to boot. When I left he said “I love big families”… just super friendly dude. I recommend this place for food service and view of lake. Don’t drive down in a mini van like I did - that I do not recommend.

An absolutely exceptional experience! This restaurant by Lake Como delivered on every level—breathtaking views, warm and genuine service, and simple yet incredibly delicious food. My Italian experience felt complete with the ossobuco pasta, which was truly to die for. I couldn’t be happier. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

Amazing restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and amazing staff that makes you feel at home. Definitely get an appetizer to whet your pallette and finish off with one of the wonderful desserts. Came here two nights in a row, it was that inviting. The pups make sure everyone is enjoying their meal.

Wonderful venue with a stunning View on the Lake. Food on the Other Hand was, My First experience there, Not at the Same Level. Menu is fairly Rich, with good options for Appetizers and Main courses. We were a table of 6, and tried many of the options . Appetizers (sformatino di verdure and Variation of vitel tonnee with missoltino) were good and peculiar (unfortunately octopus was already over even if we were pretty early). Main courses with up and downs: tagliolini with River Shrimps were delicious, paccheri with ragù of ossobuco were a Full disappointment -dry and tasteless-; sweets fairly good. Maybe it was a wrong day to Taste the very well known kitchen of this Place. It deserves a Next Chance, maybe in low Season with less tourists in the place . Service can be improved (Running out of Appetizers is Not an Option for such a Good Place)

The owner is friendly. Even though we arrived at 2pm, she assured us we were welcomed (as their closing time is 2:30pm). The food was delicious. We ordered beef carpaccio which is homemade. The venison ragu was excellent. Highly recommended!!!

I wish I could give this 6 stars. The family who owns this are so kind, and make the experience beyond anything we’ve experienced in Italy. If you are looking for a place that treats you like guests in their house, this is the place! Things to note, parking is behind or on the street. All the food is local, including the herbs from their own garden. With appetizers, 2 courses, and 5 bottles of wine, it came to about 100 Euro per person, which is a very fair price!

We came for lunch and our first impression was quite positive as the atmosphere is very relaxed and feels like home. For this reason, we would have expected a more friendly and proactive service. The food was fine (even if the dish that most of us wanted was actually not available and we weren’t told until we ordered) and the portions are very big.

A cozy Italian restaurant where I could relax with a range of comfort food. (Their Polenta was best for me !) Kind and friendly owner who is easy to communicate in English. They also have good bottles of wine and the chef himself is a qualified Sommelier ! Definitely recommend to visit !

What a wonderful first dinner in Como, Italy. Ivan and Nessi are awesome. Nessi was so warm and welcoming, she made us feel right at home in Italy. Her husband Ivan is an awesome chef and sommelier. He helped us pick a fabulous wine for dinner down in the cellar. Needles to save the food was fantastic. When you are in Como, make sure to visit this restaurant.

Been there two days ago after two weeks trip in Italy. I went almost every night to an Italian restaurant, and La Costa is the best one. The food is home made,fresh, spices are just perfect, and the taste..... oh the taste. Will definitely go back in my next trip. Also, the price is really affordable comparing the other restaurants. Just perfetto!!!

Was our first stop in Como: very nice quite location right near the lake Food is amazing, service is amazing too. We said that we want to share and they brought all dishes in different place for us. We tried steak, ravioli with lemon, shrimps and deserts - all was delicious, recommend. And also nice thing - how we got here. We stopped car at the Main Street and then one guy on bike was guiding us through tiny streets

One of my favorite spots on earth. Cannot recommend enough. Get the lemon ravioli! Non-negotiable. Then enjoy the trout and any of the other wonderful dishes but get the ravioli. The sample dessert is perfect as well. A taste of so many goodies. Wonderful view, perfect atmosphere, impeccable service, and the ravioli. Oh my goodness. Until we meet again…

We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. We went the day before to put a reservation in (you cannot walk in - you must have a reservation). Being right on the water is a great way to spend dinner. It was peaceful and a beautiful setting. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every bite. We were fortunate to grab a table here for 2025 Sagra di San Giovanni, the most renowned fireworks show on Lake Como. I could not imagine a more spectacular evening. The restaurant is amazing, delicious seafood, homemade ravioli, steaks, and dessert. Every night is 5 stars.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a day strolling along the lake on Varenna. The restaurant was set in a secluded area of the town where there’s not much going on. However, we had the honour to be the only table in the restaurant for lunch that afternoon sitting at the patio overlooking the lake. I can echo the other reviewer that this should be a Michelin starred restaurant quality food! We had the two course lunch ordering smoke trout and smoked duck, and lamb chop as well as pappardelle ragu for entree and finished off with a berries and gelato dessert. Everything was beyond this world delicious. Hopefully I’ll have the chance to visit again soon!

We were here in July and we had a wonderful evening. I would describe the cuisine as classic Italian but particularly high quality, all the courses were incredibly delicious. The small wine list consists almost exclusively of Italian wines, we drank a tasty Riesling from Piedmont. Particularly noteworthy is the very friendly and professional service, also in English. We would love to come back!

We stayed in the air bnb attached to this restaurant which is also awesome. The food here was great, the service was warm and attentive when needed. The quality of the food was top tier and if you’re in the area and want a nice romantic dinner in a 17th century building I would highly recommend.

Stayed across the street at a really nice Airbnb. Figured we’d give the restaurant a try. Walk up and some elderly waitress abruptly swings open the door and says they’re all booked up despite the numerous open seats outside. I then walk back up to the door to inquire about reservations and she says “use the website” and shuts the door lol They need to fire this old dingbat, it’s not a good look. Especially for a run-down place without a view. Go a bit further down the street to a place like Bar Il Molo. Friendly staff and great view. Other great places in Varenna too. No need to visit this rude establishment. Instead, I just order from Varenna and get a better view from my accommodation than this place can provide, without a rude old lady 🤣

Tranquil beach club with amenities. Lake water is easily accessible but very cold. There’s also a shallow pool for those not brave enough to get into the lake. Drinks are good. Pricey but a nice way to relax away from the crowds if you can afford it.

Wow, what a blast at Victoria Beach! We snagged two gazebos for some prime chill time under the sun. The two gals serving us were absolute rockstars—big smiles, super friendly, and always popping by to keep our vibes high. The pizza was a total win, the clam linguine was chef’s kiss, and don’t get me started on the calamari—light, crispy, and crazy fresh! If you’re looking for a fun, sunny spot to eat and relax, this place is a must-hit!

We had a fantastic day at Lido Victoria Beach in Menaggio. I’m so glad we discovered this relaxing, clean, and not overcrowded beach club with stunning views of Lake Como. Our kids had an amazing time in the pool, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the beach restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The changing rooms and restrooms were spotless, equipped with showers, lockers, and hairdryers. Make sure to reserve a few days in advance on their website so you can choose your spot — water and towels are included. We would definitely come back! We had such a relaxing day, even though the DJ played some more upbeat (and slightly less relaxing) music for a while — it didn’t bother us, and after two hours he thankfully switched back to beach-vibe tunes. This place is perfect for couples, friends, and families with kids.

We spent two days at this beach club. The place is beautifully designed, with a spectacular view, and the restrooms, changing rooms, and showers are very clean. We rented a king-size bed, but the fruit platter was quite disappointing for a venue of this standard. As expected, food and drinks are highly overpriced, which is typical for such places. However, I can only give 4 stars because on both days some facilities were unavailable—for example, the infinity pool was closed due to a wedding. We should have been informed about this at the time of booking, or at least offered a proper discount. Unfortunately, during our entire stay, we never had the chance to fully enjoy the experience.

There are beach areas, access to the lake, and a pier. The service is excellent, with discreet and unobtrusive staff. However, there were a few aspects of the experience that could be improved. Many of the staff members did not speak English, which made communication a bit difficult for international visitors. Additionally, the woman at the front desk was not very welcoming or professional when we arrived. We asked if we could look around before paying for entry, but she firmly refused and did not handle the situation politely. The venue also advertised free Wi-Fi, but it was not working during our visit. Lastly, they mentioned that a DJ would start playing at 2 PM, but despite staying until 4 PM, there was no DJ or music. Overall, Victoria Beach is a beautiful location with a lot of potential, but the management and customer service could be improved. With better organization and hospitality, it could easily become one of the top spots in Lake Como.

Best lido I’ve ever gone to. The staff were very nice and we went later in the day so it was not very busy. We were in the adult only area and it was nice having lake and pool access while being close to my stuff.

We went to the beach club and paid €30 to have a beach chair all day. Great atmosphere and relaxing environment. If you have luggage with you, you can store your bags for €5 or keep them with you next to your beach chair. There are also showers you can use. Coffee was good. Regular food and slow service. There isn’t a pool available but you can swim in the lake.

The food is straightforward. The burger-style main, featuring bacon and cheese, was decent, well-cooked, but not particularly memorable. The potatoes were fine, lightly crisped, and the salad was fresh. The bread basket was average. Prices fit the location. You pay for the view more than the plate, which is fair given the setting. A lovely spot for a relaxed meal by the lake, but not if you're seeking exceptional cuisine.

Super beautiful place, with an amazing view of the lake and the mountains. I arrived at 16:00 and I had to pay the full day to get a beach bed for a couple of hours. I was given one bed on the left side of the lido, however there is no access to the water on that side. The water access is very small for the size of the place. The restaurant and food itself is very good, good drinks and prices are fair for the view.

We were there in mid October for afternoon cocktails. Beautful view of the lake, we watch water planes take off and land. Both the espresso martini and Campari n soda were made well. While busy, it was still a relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

This was by far our favorite stays when we were in Italy. We have never been to Lake Como and it was amazing to stay here. The front desk welcomed us and shared a little but about the property, the views from the check in were incredible. We then checked into our room and had a beautiful suite right on the lake. The restaurant was amazing with delicious food and top notch service. The front desk was always accessible in helping for any of our needs. We rented a boat and just relaxed on Lake Como with the beautiful sights. We were sad to go and vowed to come back soon. We found out we had left something in our room and the manager was extremely helpful with the return of the items. He went above and beyond and we are grateful. This is a great hotel and you can book a room in the residence which is treated like a hotel room, just no room service, but all other services are provided. They have a private beach with various water activities (paddle board, kayak, floats) as well as a beach bar and restaurant and the hotel as another more formal restaurant. Staff are amazing and will help you book reservations - everything can mostly be done over Whatsapp. There is parking at 20 euros per night. The town center is also not far with restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend staying here.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 college students) stayed here in July and it exceeded our expectations! The apartment was perfect for us to all stay together. The staff was exceptional. I don't want to call out any one particular person because truly, they were all so very helpful and pleasant. They helped us book car transportation, a private boat tour, and meal reservations. The pizza here at the hotel restaurant is some of the best we had in Italy. And the location is perfect. The hotel and town of Lezzeno is quiet and just a short easy bus ferry or bus ride to Bellagio. (We recommend learning to use the bus as it stops right in front of the hotel.) We're so happy and so thankful we stayed at the Filario Hotel!

I’m genuinely confused by the high ratings this hotel receives. After staying in over 200 hotels worldwide over the past 10 years, this is the one that stands out most for how far the service and quality fall short of the pricing. First of all, the room was underwhelming: dated finishings, visible water stains in the bathroom, thin towels, and bedding that lacked any plushness or luxury feel. It matched the photos online, yes, but didn’t deliver on the comfort or quality expected at this tier. Service consistently missed the mark. Upon arrival, no one offered to help with our bags or provide a trolley, even though we had a lot of luggage. While someone walked us to the room, we were left to carry most of it ourselves. Breakfast was mediocre — limited variety, uninspired presentation, and served in a cramped, makeshift room that didn’t feel four-star. At the beach bar, we waited over 10 minutes without acknowledgment while other tables were served. Mind you it was not a busy time of day, we were one of 4 couples/families and there was a working staff of 4. We had to walk up to request menus, and then waited another 10 minutes before someone came to take our order. Our key card also failed multiple times at the gate, and instead of resolving the issue or offering to assist, the front desk staff insisted the card worked — leaving my husband to make multiple trips back and forth. None of these issues are dramatic on their own, but the pattern of inattentive service and underwhelming quality stood out — especially when you consider the price. We considered other options in the area at this same price point, such as the Mandarin Oriental, and in hindsight, would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re seeking a truly luxurious experience. There’s potential here, but until the service mindset and overall offering align with the rates being charged, this won’t deliver what discerning travelers expect at the €1000+ level. The four-star value simply isn’t there.

Kind staff, great food by the beach (grilled fish, burrata & pistachio gelato - Amazing,) delicious breakfast with enough variety, clean water & area to swim. Kids loved the pool & the scenery is unbeatable. Hospitality at its best - watermelon in the evening, umbrellas by the room if it rains. Close proximity to the ferry - def recommend taking the ferry to Bellagio from Lezzeno town. If you want more luxury, there is a boat dock & you can book a private tour - shout out to Marco with the blue boat.

We stayed at one of the apartments; a nice and spacious apartment with stunning views of the lake. Overall, the hotel is located at a good spot with relatively easy access to ferry, boat rentals, good restaurants, and short drive to Bellagio or Nesso. The rooms are clean and overall in good condition. The only problem with this hotel is its service. For example, there is no pool service and you would have to walk down the stairs to place your order with the kiosk by the beach. They also mixed up orders and the service was often slow. The breakfast buffet was just average. At this price point, you’d expect a lot more in terms of service.

We stayed one night at the wonderful Hilton Lake Como. We were ending our trip in Continental Europe and after a hectic a few days in Rome, it was the perfect location to chill. The hotel view is just amazing, and the hotel itself is simply wonderful. The town is 30 min walking, but quite frankly I didn't want to leave the hotel. We had dinner at their Terrazza 241, and had the most amazing experience. The staff treated us like we had personal recommendations from Mr. George Clooney ... No, he was not there. We will definitely return for a bit of a longer stay.

It was a very good experience. The room is nice and clean. The staffs are very hospitable and helpful. Once my wife and I were going to take the bus to the city. A staff who actually work not at the front desk (Mr. Wassim), extended a helping hand and guided us safely. The pleasant experience were felt even outside the facility.

Received a room upgrade and had champagne awaiting us in the room, which was a nice touch. The breakfast had a good mix of buffet and made to order menu items. Enjoyed multiple drinks as well as dinner at the rooftop bar. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. The hotel is located in Como which is easily accessible to the rest of the towns on lake Como. The hotel is around 10 mins walk from the central town of Como and around a 20 mins walk from the train station. Recommend taking a taxi to and from the station.

I have Diamond status at Hilton, but I've never left a bad review. The service was terrible, starting with the fact that they wanted to charge me three times the room rate, and ending with them charging me for a massage that I asked to cancel, even though I wasn't sure if I'd been booked. Overall, the hospitality was terrible, and I won't be returning. The only thing I was happy with was the staff, who kept the room spotlessly clean.

I would argue that this is one of the best hotels on the lake. We stayed in a suite facing the lake and I was pleasantly shocked. While I understand that people may want to stay at a less modern place when visiting such a historic place, it’s nice to have a modern touch then be able to venture out to the lake or town. Everything is clean, everyone is nice, and the spa + pool is incredible. I truly believe this deserves an extra star. Great value for the area.

Shared a portion of the Truffle Fettucini, probably the best I’ve ever had. Soft, creamy and very truffle-y. Can’t say much about the rest of the menu, but had a good lunch experience. Service was quick and kind.

A truly beautiful spot, and the location alone deserves five stars. The atmosphere was fantastic, setting the stage for what should have been a perfect meal. Crucially, the food was absolutely amazing and yummy. We particularly enjoyed the two dishes we ordered: the Pasta Alfredo (our primi) was rich and perfectly creamy, and the Diavola pizza (our secondi) was delicious and had a wonderful crust. However, the experience was significantly marred by the extremely long wait between our courses. After finishing our pasta, we had to wait for nearly 40 minutes for the pizza to arrive. This kind of delay between a primi and a secondi is simply too long and really broke the flow of the dinner, making the end of our meal feel anticlimactic. Overall, the quality of the food and the beautiful setting were superb and unforgettable. If the restaurant can iron out the timing of their kitchen service and ensure smoother delivery between courses, it would easily be one of the best dining experiences in Como.

We had an excellent dinner at Da Pietro. I ordered the Rigatoni Carbonara and my wife had the Truffle Fettuccine — both were among the best dishes we’ve had during our trip through Italy this November. The bruschettas we started with were also fantastic — packed with flavor and a perfect introduction to the meal. Everything that followed lived up to that great start. Highly recommend this place!

Start off with the positives: The location is picturesque, right underneath the Duomo. The staff were friendly. The pizza was nice enough! Now the negatives… and really it’s a whole culmination of one thing: My other half ordered a pasta dish of which when served was stone cold… we informed the staff and they said they would replace it, that would have been good if true. The exact same dish came back 60 seconds later as if it had just been put in a microwave. The overall taste of this dish tasted like American style cheese with very salty bacon bits on there. This could just be exactly how the dish was supposed to come but it did not seem right was not pleasant. Overall: After our experience I wouldn’t return, however if in a rush for something to eat with a nice location then it’s not the worst option. The staff were friendly and hard working as there were plenty of tables to look after. The location is fantastic and the atmosphere is excellent.

I like everything about this place. Honestly I was scared cuz of low score in google map (3.9. / 5) but I tried it and it worth every single penny. Very nice atmosphere with life music ( No noise). Food ordered and rating: Cheese burger: 5/5. Highly recommended Truffle with potato: 5/5. Highly recommended Spagetti with Borata cheese : 5/5. Highly recommended Pizza : 3/5. I did not like the fish in it although it was my choice but it was salty ( not recommended) Vergin Mojito: 2/5. I did not like the lemon taste it was strong. Also not recommended. They showed us every charming corner of the villa and were incredibly knowledgeable about all the attractions around the lake. From boat rides to seaplane tours and restaurant bookings, they arranged everything with care and professionalism. Beautiful property sitting right on the lake, short cab ride or take the nearby water taxi into town less 10 minutes either way. Mattia I cant thank enough for providing my wife, friends and I a great trip. Gave us multiple recommendations that all turned out to be great selections. When we make our next trip to Lake Como we will absolutely be staying here again. We didn't have dinner here during our stay, but their bar is fantastic.

Rented the boat from this area for about 2 hours. After coming back, decided to stop by to get a coffee and a hot chocolate. The cappuccino is the BEST I've ever had. No doubt a 5 out of 5. As for the hot chocolate, it was different from what we're used to (thicker) but definitely was delicious with lots of flavor. Would give that a 4.5 out if 5. Also, the location is right in the marina and it's very relaxing with beautiful views. Highly recommend EVERYONE to come out and visit. The prices are very reasonable.

Great food and service and great views of lake Como. Reasonably priced with great options for meat and fish. My husband and I split Parma ham and lasagne as starters I had the veal Milanese and he had the curry prawns which were exceptionally good. Cosmo and special cocktails were fantastic. Suggest a broader wine by glass list.

Visited with a large group for dinner. Had several options to choose from in a 3 course meal - one vegetarian of each available (appetizer, main, desert). Was a little skeptical at first with the vegetarian dishes especially two with tomatoes but at first taste, I was blown away! Mozzarella and Roma/cherries as well as the tomato pasta sauce each tasted so fresh, unique and divine! Loved everything about the meal.

We were very lucky to have gotten a table at Harry’s Bar because the place is always booked. Thanks to Jason, the manager, for being on the lookout and flagging us down after a cancellation so that we could enjoy one of the best meals we had while staying at the nearby Villa D’Este. Despite the name, we enjoyed an authentic Italian meal based on a menu from of local catches from Lake Como. The views of the lake are spectacular and the service is top notch. We really enjoyed our piano player as well.

I didn’t try food but it smelled delicious. So I believe it must be tasty. I couldn’t decide which cocktail I wanted so they mixed between my 2 favorites, which was nice but turned out way too sweet. Still tasty though. The view is breathtaking!

I am not sure why Harry’s reviews aren’t much higher. We took an another couple here and we all agreed that it is a must try place in Lake Como. Our favorite dish was the White Truffle Pasta!! Also enjoyed all the dishes in the picture we shared. We will be coming back to try more dishes!

Having just arrived in the region and knowing nothing about where to eat out, we walked to the small town of Cernobbio and as my husband can't walk too far, the restaurant looked very inviting in the evening with candle-lit tables, shiny glassware and well-dressed staff. We enquired after a table for two and were immediately asked if we had a reservation. We hadn't but after a few raised eyebrows were shown to a table we liked. An aperitif each was ordered as well as water. The water arrived and we chose to order an antipasti to share a main course each and a bottle of wine. The aperitif took so long to arrive that our wine arrived shortly after and although I'd only had two sips the waiter actually asked if I wanted it taken away as we now had wine! The antipasti was basic and although the main course was well cooked, to ask 15 euros for a small side salad is laughable. After we'd finished, we were going to have a dessert but we waited and waited and waited but no one came to offer a dessert menu; they were too busy schmoozing with large reserved tables of Italian diners and we were clearly forgotten. Having asked for the bill, which already included service charge, water charge, and table charge, the cost was completely outrageous in that there was not any true service and we'd had far better for so much less in Como, Garda and Verona on this trip. However, we were totally shocked when we were asked if we then wanted to add a gratuity!! We have dined in some superb restaurants across Italy over the years but never, ever have any waiting staff asked for a gratuity. Give this place a wide berth.

DINING: The food was easily among the best we’ve enjoyed across multiple trips to Italy. SERVICE throughout the property is excellent, attentive, professional, and polished. Gaia Bar is located in the resort Musa Lago Di Como. We ate here as the food is great and very delicious for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This has a great selection of cocktails and drinks. Just to be clear Gaia is separate to Roteo restaurant which is also located in the hotel. The prices are quite reasonable especially being in such a beautiful hotel and being only one of 4 hotels that has a 5 star rating. We met the owner Mitch who is an Aussie which made the experience so much better for us. Definitely made us feel right at home and relaxed. The staff in the bar where very friendly and loved to have a chat and a laugh. We ate here cause we didn't want to eat in the restaurant every night just to save some cash as our honeymoon was only at the beginning. Definitely a place to visit on the bucket list when visiting Lake Como as you won't be disappointed.

It ended up being 18 eur per what we thought would be pizza. They said the Sunday pizza price was not available now, which we accepted. Ordered a small cola can, which ended up being 9 euros.
