Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores is a breezy waterfront eatery that specializes in seafood and offers bar bites, beers, and live music. It's one of the popular businesses in the area, known for its allergy-friendly dishes and Hot Fun Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding. With locations in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan, it's easily accessible for visitors to the area.
Went to Tacky Jacks for lunch on a Thursday afternoon this past week. We were greeted and seated right away (table of 4). Our server Abbey was great, she gave drink and food recommendations that were delicious. Our daughter who is extremely picky even ate her meal! We enjoyed the fun atmosphere and great food. Service was quick and prices were good. Whenever we are back in the area we will definitely be back.

The best restaurant we ate at in gulf shores! We found parking really easily however we went around 4pm. Environment was super colorful and the place was decorated with duct tape. Immediately got seated and food came out quickly. Our waitress, Katie, was super nice and we joked around and got to meet “manager in charge of the day” Bryan! Staff was super sweet and nice. I got the steamed crab legs and it was super good as well as the butter, corn, and potatoes!!!!!! The rest of my party loved what they got as well! We will always remember this place and will be back next time we visit.
Katherine — Google review
Such a good place! Our server, Abbey, was so sweet to us and is an amazing server overall!! The food, like the Jack stack and Jack Benny were top notch! I highly recommend this place to anybody staying or visiting Gulf Shores. P. S. They have a gift shop and a piece of tape to tape anywhere in the restaurant!
Kayy — Google review
Nice waterfront breakfast. I went here on Monday for breakfast. They weren't busy, got seated and drink order taken immediately. Very friendly staff. I ordered the Shrimp Omelette. It was really good, the seasoning on the shrimp was excellent. I also got a Bloody Mary, which was good, but I really enjoyed the pickled green beans that were in it. If you want to have a nice, relaxed, waterfront breakfast this is the place. Would highly recommend for locals or visitors.
Jason G — Google review
Every worker we came in contact with was friendly. Our waitress did a good job. Food was reasonably priced, delicious and came out in a timely manner. Save room for the salted caramel cheesecake
C M — Google review
This restaurant is an amazing place to eat, and I highly recommend it! I ordered the wangs, and they did not disappoint! Our server, Abbey, was an absolute delight. The atmosphere was amazing, I felt like a friend the entire time! The tape lining the walls of past happy customers is an amazing touch. Tacky Jacks is an amazing restaurant for anyone in the area! Five stars!
Thomas R — Google review
We just had breakfast at Tacky Jack's. it eas our first time ever trying this restaurant, but after passing by the Gulf Shore's location and seeing the cool appearance and vibe, I was intrested in trying it. The food was great. Our server Josh was amazing. He was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We will return for dinner sometime when we are back in town.
Amber H — Google review
We should have known when we were given the “side eye” as we walked up… The first hostesses we saw acted like we were interrupting them, though the restaurant was not busy AT ALL. Our server, Michael, was amazing! Friendly and on top of things. The food was “ok”. My husband and I both got fish and it was not hot, just kinda room temp/warm. He ended up with food poisoning. We got fried pickles as an appetizer, and they were good. Nothing to write home about. Probably will not go back. It could have just been an off night, but other than our server, it was not a good experience.

Pizza restaurant
Bar
Italian restaurant
Papa Rocco's is a well-known spot in Gulf Shores, serving a variety of American casual eats such as pizza and oysters since 1985. Despite their humorous self-designation as the 'home of warm beer and lousy pizza,' the restaurant has gained popularity for its local charm and tasty food. They offer daily lunch specials, happy hour, and live music every night.
Great food. We ate here twice on our trip to Gulf Shores. The pizza is good . A small pizza was enough for two adults to share or for one teenager. I had the meatball sub on our second visit and it was very good. The staff was very friendly both times we went.
Jacob F — Google review
The service was good, but unfortunately, the dining experience was marred by a couple of issues. The area where we ate didn't have the best smell, which affected my appetite. The pizza was overly salty, the shrimp was not shrimping and the frozen drinks tasted like they were made with lower-end tequila – definitely not our favorite.
Neka N — Google review
I had high hopes based on hearing locals love this place. Tried to order take out at 7:15 pm on a Thursday and no one answered the phone. Drove there, parked in the last spot and ordered at the bar. It was crowded, loud and all the staff looked exhausted. Must have been a crazy day. Food was good, not great. Prices were decent. I guess I was underwhelmed. Chicken Parmesan, spaghetti with sausage and Italian salad is what we ordered.
Angie Z — Google review
This was a fun place! It is basically a sports bar that serves great food. I had the manicotti with Alfredo sauce and my husband had the All Meat pizza. Both were excellent, as was our appetizer, the stuffed mushrooms. Though they were technically stuffed, they were really more like 'filled' (think gooey pizza topping - really good!). The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was wonderful, and they even had live entertainment that night. As we were leaving, we saw the sign to 'Feed the Fish' for 50 cents in their pond out back. How cool! Definitely taking some quarters next time, because we will be back.
Robin S — Google review
It was so loud the waitress could not hear our orders. The Dr Pepper tasted funny, never got a new one. The waitress said she knew it would take awhile to fix it and offered a different drink. The food… wow, it was quite the let down. Based on the reviews I was surprised by how bland it was. It took a solid 45 minutes to get our order. My son’s wings came out cold. Between the waitresses not acknowledging ANYONE nor the other staff it took longer to explain that the food was cold. For the 1.5 hours there we saw two other tables send their food back because it was cold. Fortunately, this is our last night in Alabama.
Lynnette F — Google review
Visiting from Indiana and our kids wanted spaghetti for dinner. That being said if we lived here we'd probably eat her 2x a week. It was our favorite place visting gulf shores. Literally perfect for our family. Pizza, pasta, burgers, seafood. I mean where else can I get my oysters rockefeller & Alfredo. We loved this place. Food was perfect and service was even better. We will 100% be back
Kyle N — Google review
Such a fun place with music and great service. Awesome Happy hour prices probably the best in town. Ordered food To-go. It didn’t disappoint. Recommend the Lasagna, spinach Alfredo pizza, and the stuffed mushrooms!!! Check them out!
Donna A — Google review
We had an excellent dinner at Papa Rocco’s! The pizza was hot and fresh and the spaghetti was a hit with the kids. Great oyster selection too. Our server was very attentive and checked on us frequently to keep us updated on our food. It did take a while to get the food, but everything was hot and fresh when it came out and we expected to be waiting a bit as they were quite busy. Would definitely be a place we would return to and would recommend!

Cosmo's Restaurant & Bar in Orange Beach, Alabama is a vibrant and art-filled dining spot that offers a blend of modern Southern and global cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Situated away from the bustling main streets, the restaurant exudes a welcoming ambiance akin to approaching a friendly home. The establishment is part of a renowned restaurant group known for providing consistent kids' options across their venues.
Jennifer, (I hope I remembered the name correctly) you are amazing! The service was great and the recommendations were even better. We ended up here on accident but it was such a happy one. I loved the strawberry white chocolate bread pudding. I could eat it everyday. We had the tequila and the beer flight. We loved them both and plan to come back when we visit Orange Beach again. Also, I love the dog theme. It was super cute and gave me all the feels. This place is a gem!

Came in today for the $10 Lunch Specials! Words cannot describe all the flavor you get for the price! Great service from Chelsey our server. The Fried Rice with grilled chicken was amazing. Also Happy Hour for 3-5pm Monday-Friday!
William W — Google review
Best place we ate during this vacation by far! The live music was good. The waitress took her time with my parents who are older and hard of hearing. The cute little shops were a nice touch. The clothing boutique was very proud of their items and they were way too expensive, so we didn't buy anything, but the stuff was cute. The food was fresh, delivers quickly, cooked well, and delicious!
Tina C — Google review
Oh my goodness! For starters what an eventful establishment. All kinds of Stores and beautiful covered patio. We had dinner on a Tuesday night and they were packed. Lee was top notch in hospitality. She was working so many tables and still delivered great service. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. I feel like these pictures lack the wonderful balanced flavors. The seafood was so fresh and the steak as tender as they get. Get the fire cracker shrimp!!!!!!
Marialexandraa O — Google review
Chef Ramsey quality risotto! Wow. Absolutely amazing food. The scallops melted in your mouth and chutney was absolutely phenomenal. Steak was done perfectly and the shrimp was so fresh and delicious. We randomly stopped here and glad we did!
DT D — Google review
Very good food. Got a few appetizers. Crab cakes and fried crab claws. Both tasted great, and the waitress even stood on a chair to get a group picture of all 9 of us. Super good place to eat. HIGHLY recommend.
Norman H — Google review
Service fast and good, was hopeful but food was just fair and did not justify the cost. Firecracker shrimp was enjoyed ( not pictured)
Ruth C — Google review
Nice setting. Tried to get a drink while waiting for our table but gave up - bar service was SLOW and bar tender was very rude. Looked under staffed considering it was a holiday weekend. Food was good, not great- I had the special which was snapper with a caramelized onion risotto. The onions were red onions?? Which don’t really caramelize well and gave it an odd flavor. The crab cake appetizer however was excellent.

Seafood restaurant
Wolf Bay Restaurant at Orange Beach is a bustling stop known for its local seafood, sandwiches, and salad bar. It's a long-running venture that offers the highest quality ingredients with a charming historic ambiance. The restaurant is hosting special culinary delights for Mother's Day Weekend, featuring dishes like Herb Crusted Prime Rib and Strawberry Shortcake Bushwacker to celebrate all mothers. With fresh seafood and local flavors served for generations, it's the perfect place to gather with loved ones and enjoy dishes like gumbo.
The service was top tier! The food was excellent! The Salad Bar is nothing like the restaurant in Foley but it's still very good. It just doesn't have the Broccoli Salad, Shrimp Salad and other extras or the Bacon. The meal we ordered was excellent. The food was delicious and seemed fresh. The Restaurant was extremely clean too. I highly recommend giving this location a visit. We each had the Small Mix with a Loaded Baked Potato and salad bar. The Small Mix is Oysters and Shrimp.
Lori J — Google review
Service and atmosphere are great. We sat on the covered patio. The salad bar is good. I would just watch your head for the overhead cover. No light, pretty dark to see what to grab. Lobster roll wasn't what my kiddo thought was mixed in with different things, and served open face on sub roll. Catfish and coconut shrimp were really good. Hubs had the platter. Kids pizza is a frozen pizza, food could use some more spices.

Our first time visiting Orange Beach,we tried two different seafood restaurants and the third seafood restaurant was Wolf Bay, the food was awesome,we liked it so much we came back the next day also. I have seen people post reviews about being expensive, if you are looking to spend under $30 for two people you need to go to Long John Silver or Captain D's fastfood...this is genuine good seafood and good seafood cost $$..1st day we spent $100 plus tip , 2nd day $80 + tip. The service was top notch👍..we had more food than we could finish. This will be our Seafood choice when we come to Orange beach. It was a great experience both times.
Don R — Google review
Wolf Bay is a Baldwin County restaurant rite of passage. I was a regular there with my family throughout the 80s and 90s, back when they served green beans with every meal. 🍤 Their Orange Beach location is on the faux water, a small lake on Perdido Beach Blvd, right across the Highway from the Gulf. Wolf Bay has made some nice upgrades to this establishment through the years. The outdoor seating area and bar has soft lighting with a view of the condos across the street. The inside is colored in soft blue tones with a salad bar parked across from an actual bar. Covid erased many salad bars from the restaurant landscape, but this one still has it going on. Just as great as ever- their salad dressings are wonderful. 🍤 There’s two stars of the show here. Star One is the fried food. I literally dream about their fried Gulf Shrimp, and it’s been fried the exact way probably since they opened the doors in ‘73. Star Two is the tartar sauce. The perfect compliment for any of their fried dishes, it has totally been the gold standard of sauces for me since I was 13-years-old. Still tastes amazing. The sweet potato fries were really nice on our most recent visit. And so was our server, Chris, who hustled around the restaurant while entertaining everyone with conversation. 🍤 Over dinner, we reminisced about how much my dad loved Wolf Bay. With a friend visiting the area who had moved away from Fairhope, they once drove 45 minutes one way to dine there five nights in a row. Great old memories and a fantastic meal in the Orange Beach location, this shrimp’s for you, Pop! Wolf Bay Lodge is just as excellent as it has been all these years. It’s most definitely a must do.
Amanda M — Google review
This was our second time going and we really enjoyed it. I’m not from around here so finding good places to eat at while here is always fun! We started out with the fried green tomato’s and they were delicious, however the cheese sauce served with them felt like cheesy soup. We’d recommend getting the sauce on the side! He got the pork chop dinner with mash potatoes and he really liked it. I did the pick two platter with the whitefish and coconut shrimp and it was really good. I got the parm truffle fries as my side and it was okay I probably wouldn’t get it again though. We wanted to try the Chocolate Buttercream Cake for dessert, but they were out which is okay!! (We understand) Overall, we had a great time and our server was amazing. I don’t remember her name, but she was very short and sweet and always had a smile on her face!! We recommend this place for sure!!
Juliana_banana — Google review
Clean, bright, fresh decor and quick, friendly service set the stage for a great meal! We enjoyed fresh oysters, salad bar and tasty entrees. The three of us all had something different--each was pleased with our choices. Service with Tayiah was fantastic! We did not feel rushed, but she hustled from table to table giving big smiles and great service. We will be back!
Joye H — Google review
Atmosphere and service were great. My wife LOVES the Shrimp and Grits - this is our second time to Wolf Bay (first to this location) and both times it was incredible. I had the Mahi sandwich but it was a little overdone and dry (tasted like chicken). I also had a bowl of gumbo - it was okay, but nothing to write home about.
Stephen — Google review
A pretty good restaurant. I visited for the first time this month while in town for work and vacation. I followed signs to the outside patio and waited for a hostess to seat me. I had to flag someone down to be seated, which wasn’t a good impression. I was finally seated and greeted by the server after a while. I wanted a drink from the menu that was no longer available, so that was a bummer. But the cha cha dip was very good. The crab stuff flounder was ok. The flounder is filled with bones, so fair warning. The truffle parmesan fries are simply delicious. The mac and cheese was good; just needed a little salt and pepper. The lemonade was gross. I don’t think the high prices match the quality of food and service and atmosphere. It’s more of a casual restaurant in my opinion, but because it’s near the beach that may be the reason. Some places are great for solo diners…this one isn’t so much in my experience. A couple who arrived just before me was assisted by a host. Whereas my service was average as I was ignored for a while until I was proactive in getting a table. Very nice view of the beach condos with great weather around dinner time in the offseason, if you’re eating outside. I loved that. For the view and scenery, I would go back…just with a guest because I might receive better service.

The Pink Pony Pub in Gulf Shores is a popular late-night spot known for its beachfront location, casual atmosphere, and delicious seafood and pub food. The restaurant's pink exterior with a pony painted outside adds to its charm. Whether you're looking to enjoy the air conditioning indoors or soak up the sun on the wooden deck overlooking the surf, this beachfront establishment offers a delightful experience.
We stopped here while spending time at the Gulf Shores beach. Cute pink building close by to the beach, with a nice view. The staff was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. My group and I all really liked our food. They got fried gulf shrimp and blackened gulf shrimp. The hush puppies were delicious. The best any of us have had anytime recently. The fries were seasoned and perfectly crispy. I ordered the blackened fish basket and it was as delicious as I could’ve hoped for.
Rachel B — Google review
I’ve been coming to the Pink Pony since I was a kid, and it’s always held a special place in my heart. So naturally, when I came home to visit, I was excited to stop by and relive those memories. Walking in, I was thrilled to see that the place still looks the same—there’s a charm and familiarity that makes it feel like home. That said, I do wish a bit more care was put into the food and drinks. Respectfully, the Bushwacker I had was almost undrinkable, and the oysters I ordered weren’t properly shucked—there were shells in nearly every bite. No house-made ranch, and the overall menu felt uninspired, almost as if it was put together without much thought. The location is unbeatable, and the vibe has all the potential in the world. But it feels like the quality of the experience, especially when it comes to the menu and service, hasn’t caught up. Our server wasn’t particularly friendly either, which added to the sense that things have slipped. Despite that, I’ll always come back—this place is part of my history. I just really hope to see it taken to the next level someday. It truly deserves that.

Located right on the beach!! The food was really good!! My husband got the crab cakes and said they were to die for!!!! I was a little surprised about the crab claw basket when we got the receipt since it didn’t have the price on the menu. $45 for a crab claw basket seemed a bit pricey but my niece enjoyed it. The service was not great since it was a very busy place. It took a long time to get good, or to get refills. Make sure you go a little early so u can get on their wait list to get in too.
Tricia T — Google review
Great place! The drinks are AMAZING!!! Highly recommend the Bob Marley and key lime colada! The burger of the month was a pimento cheese burger with fried green tomato and I loved it! The grilled fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly! Not to mention the best fried pickles I’ve had in a long time! Not too salty but very tasty!!! Staff was mostly friendly and happy to answer questions. The food took about 40 minutes to come out but the place was packed and the drinks and appetizer came quick. The patio is amazing and has a beautiful view of the pier
Libby B — Google review
My husband and I stopped in here for a drink and loved the atmosphere. Our server Matt was so friendly and he made the best strawberry daiquiri I’ve ever had! Super reasonable prices as well. Definitely recommend!!
Kali O — Google review
We came across this place when looking for somewhere to eat on the beach. Before being seated the hostess informed us they were out of about a third of the menu items. We decided to stay since there wasn’t a wait. The food, service, and indoor atmosphere was ok. The outdoor atmosphere was better because of the view of the beach and ocean. The seating indoors was plastic folding chairs and tables, outdoors was wooden picnic tables. They were not the most comfortable but I guess that is the look they were going for. The location right on the beach is pretty much what this place has going for it.

Waited in line for a minute or two but they were slammed busy. service was great, fast enough, came with a smile.i ordered a frozen drink,it had 4 different liquors in it, "A Jamaican Type frozen drink and it was worth the $12 i paid for it!! Busy but great

We came for the Nachos, and they were out of cheese? So we stayed and got burgers, they were good when they finally came out. Although when our app came out, no one every gave us napkins, utensils, and our waiter disappeared for about 20 minutes... we noticed we were not the only table awkwardly waiting. Other tables, with other waiters went up to the bar to ask for drinks etc.. location is cool, theme is cool, but a bit run-down overall with foldup tables/chairs on the inside. It took a really long time to get our food and the place wasn't super busy. Parking is in a small paid lot in between them and Hangout. We were rather dissapointed. I think if it wasn't "famous" and on the beach, there's no real reason to go.

Brick & Spoon in Orange Beach is a stylish and contemporary chain that offers a delightful Cajun-Creole breakfast experience. The menu features colorful and affordable dishes with a Louisiana twist, such as baked brie bruschetta, chorizo and scrambled eggs breakfast tacos, eggs Benedict with grilled chicken and creamed spinach, soft shell crab BLT, and handmade cheeseburger with house aioli.
The host Robby (ie?) was a doll. So very sweet. Our server, Emily C. was a gem, as well. Very sweet and was efficiently managing several tables. We had a mimosa flight and spiked lemonade flight and wheeeeeewwwww! We got every penny worth! The restaurant was a little slower than expected, but our service, drinks, and meals were so good that we didn’t mind. We ate the honey mustard chicken wrap and breakfast tacos. We drove from Pensacola and overall, had a great experience. The atmosphere was fresh with good vibes. The music was great and not too loud. Highly recommend trying this place out!
Brittany W — Google review
The ratings on this place got us excited thinking we were about to have a great breakfast. Unfortunately the reviews were much higher than deserved based on our meal. Our food was bland and boring. I got the blackened shrimp eggs benedict and my wife got an omelette. There was a total of five small shrimp and they were not blackened and had very little spice. The omelette was good but basic. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to have conversation this is not the spot. The main dining area was extremely noisy. It sounded like a high school cafeteria the day before Spring Break. Our search for a great breakfast spot in Orange Beach continues. I will say the one redeeming quality was our server. She was attentive and very sweet.

We enjoyed a late breakfast/early brunch arriving at 9 am. There was plenty of parking available. We had no trouble getting seated although there were many others dining on Sunday morning. Our party of three was seated quickly. We tried the western scrambler and Caribbean scrambler with the fire roasted grits. Both dishes were tasty but the fire roasted cheese grits stole the show! They were creamy, cheesy with a hint of smoky. The thing we liked best was the addition of corn to the grits which was a yummy surprise! The coffee was delicious as well. The brunch menu looked tempting. We were all happy with our food and the price. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely go back!
Tina B — Google review
The food was fantastic. The restaurant was great but what really impressed us was the server. We were on our way out of alabama and got here at opening hour. About 4 other groups walked in and she absolutely killed it. Nikki needs a raise. We got outstanding service and the food and drinks were a bonus! Make this stop if you're ever in town!

Brick & Spoon in Orange Beach absolutely lived up to the hype, family that lives in the area recommended that we checked it out and we know why. The deviled eggs were next level; creamy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely a must order starter. I had the Bama Chick sandwich and it was incredible, crispy chicken, just the right amount of kick, and packed with flavor. The eggs Benedict options were equally impressive, perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and generous portions. And of course, the mimosa flights were a fun (and tasty) bonus. Great variety of flavors, all super refreshing and well balanced, perfect for sharing or just sampling a little of everything. Service was friendly and fast, and the whole experience was a standout. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Brick & Spoon is a must for brunch in Orange Beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice brunch spot. Served everything from mini beignet's to loaded burgers. I had the Cali burger (I think that's what it's called) with double patties, cheese, bacon and avocado. Very good! The fries were good, too.

What a great menu. Absolutely love the food and will be traveling back here from Pensacola for another delicious meal. A+ for not leaving the tails on the shrimp in my shrimp and grits.

Our server Lex was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I have never had a server be so attentive and kind. She was the cherry on top because the food was GREAT! We had the fried green tomatoes, beignets, and I had Creole Benny and can’t wait to try other items on the menu. Thanks again Lex for making my dining experience top tier! If Lex is at work try to be seated in her section! Oh and make sure to get a screwmosa!!!

Ginny Lane Bar and Grill is a charming restaurant located at The Wharf in Orange Beach, AL. It offers a delightful dining experience with its polished indoor space and outdoor patio overlooking the water. Whether you're there for lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch, Ginny Lane Bar and Grill has something for everyone.
Me and my mother stopped by here after taking a delightful dolphin tour which gave us a discount on our food. I only checked menus, not reviews, before entering, so it’s sad to see that this lovely restaurant is getting a couple bad reviews. It was very slow when we went, and we had an incredible time. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air, and ordered the blue crap dip (which is delightful!!), the raspberry lemonade (absolutely my favorite drink ever. I would come here again and again to order that!), and two entrees. Everything was absolutely amazing in taste, and the food was fresh. I am a server myself, so I understand it can be hard to figure out when to check on your tables. Our server was good at coming around, but I can understand how it might’ve been not enough for others, especially if you had something to say or ask. We had no problems with her, however, and loved when she came around! Would 100% come back. Absolutely amazing food, and you cant beat the beautiful view you get, too!

We had a quick lunch here on our way to the airport. We came in just moments after they opened. The host was super accommodating! We had a few luggage bags and they offered to keep them up front so we could enjoy our lunches. Very tasty! Lovely area and great atmosphere.

We asked around with the locals for a bloody Mary and found this spot. Very pretty view of the water and Huge boats. The patio is very spacious and so is inside. They do have a few activities including 2 pool tables. Our server Eric was fantastic and never left us wanting. We did have to teach everyone the importance of not one tripping him but he was a good sport about it. I had the lunch special and chose the Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and cinnamon apples. Everything was cooked great, the apples were a little thin for my liking but still solid. Everyone's bloody Mary was perfect so shout out to the bartender. We only stopped for a quick bite but this place has found it on our list of swing back through.

We had a wonderful experience! My husband and his dad went fishing this morning on the pier and caught a cooler full of Red Drum, but we had no way to clean and cook it. GL has a "hook and cook" service so we called ahead and spoke to Clint. He was super helpful and told us to bring them in and they would clean and cook them for us. From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was so friendly and kind. Clint scooped up our cooler and took the fish to the back to clean and prep them himself. We started with raw oysters on the halfshell and cocktails The fish were served fried, blackened and grilled with 3 family style sides. We opted for the gouda mashed potatoes, mushroom risotto and green beans. What an amazing meal! Everything was wonderful and we could not have asked for better service. We will definitely be back again! Thanks Clint! You really took care of us today!

GREAT HAPPY HOUR MENU from 11-6pm Shrimp special today: $20 all you can eat and comes with Cole slaw, hush puppies, and fries. Oysters were $1/apiece. They were small but had good flavor. Justin was a great waiter and we tipped him accordingly, but the bar service was unbelievably slow considering the staff to patron ratio was at least 2:1. Great view of the ICW and yachts on the wharf. This was not our first time here, and we were surprised at how run down it seemed. With so many dining options in this area, they need to freshen up the place and motivate their staff. No complaints about Justin. Staff looked bored and uninterested.

Italian restaurant
Bar & grill
Nestled in The Wharf entertainment complex, Villaggio Grille is a vibrant eatery offering a delightful blend of Italian and American cuisine. With a year-round outdoor patio, this Mediterranean Italian fusion restaurant provides an inviting atmosphere to savor its delectable dishes. From wood-fired oysters and fresh salads to entrees like grilled beef fillet mignon and chicken scaloppini, there's something for everyone.
At Villaggio Grille, the Truffle Oil and Sausage Pizza is a standout. The truffle oil gives the pizza a rich, earthy flavor, and the sausage adds a nice, savory kick. The salmon is cooked perfectly—tender and flavorful—and the risotto is creamy and delicious. The short rib bruschetta with carrot is a great combination of flavors; the sweet carrot and savory short rib blend together really well. Overall, the meal was fantastic, with each dish offering something unique and tasty. Definitely worth trying!

Villaggio Grille was a decent stop on our trip to the Gulf Shores area. Unfortunately, while service started off great for our meal, we were left alone with no service for far too long by the end. The majority of our group ended up getting up to explore the shopping center while a few stayed behind to pay. Food was okay, but would not come back based on this experience.

We had our wedding reception dinner here. I wasn't excepting to have the private room so that was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. The waiter and waitress we had were really nice and accommodating. We appreciate being able to order from the kids menu for the children present. The adults really enjoyed their entrees as well. Thanks for allowing separate checks. We love the Wharf area and will be back to visit soon.

This was our first visit to the Gulf Shores area so all of our restaurant picks have been based on reviews. I’m here to offer a review that I don’t see listed. This place is ok. If you’re in the area of the Wharf then sure, it works. But next time I won’t go out of my way to visit this restaurant or the Wharf. None of it seems to be managed well. We sat outside because it was a nice night. Everything seemed dirty and loud. The guys cleaning off tables pushed around a cart with dirty dishes that was exceptionally loud bouncing on the cobblestone ground. And they were cleaning the tables with a rag that was extremely dirty. The food wasn’t bad. We started with a house salad that was really good and a Caesar salad that was very lacking (it didn’t even have croutons). My husband got the pork chop that was overcooked and dry but the sides were delicious (Mac and cheese and broccolini). My girls had a wood fired pizza that didn’t look like it was baked in a HOT wood fired oven. My oysters were very flavorful but they were tiny! All in all it didn’t have the ambiance or quality that we were expecting.

I dined alone last night at Villaggio Grill and had a pretty disappointing experience. I started with a blueberry coconut mojito, which was very good. I ordered the burrata caprese appetizer and then the seared scallop entree, which I was really excited to try. After about 45 minutes, my server came to tell me that the reason my entree was taking so long is because my scallops were “frozen solid”. I appreciate the honest communication, but I would rather not have known my seafood was frozen, though I do understand that is a common occurrence in most restaurants. At this point, I still had not received my appetizer, so I politely asked for that in the meantime. My entree arrived a few minutes later and I was immediately disappointed with the portion for the price I was paying. The four scallops were rather small, but they were cooked pretty well. The risotto was extremely bland and there was no vegetable side included with the dinner. After I completed my entree, my appetizer finally arrived and it was the shining star of my entire meal. As a restaurant manager myself, I would want to know this information, so I did give this feedback to the manager on duty. She was apologetic and offered to remove the appetizer from my meal, which I did not expect but do appreciate. Overall, the experience was disappointing, but I can see how others may enjoy this establishment.

I live in Gulf Shores. Villaggio is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is great. Usually, I sit at a table, and my service is also exceptional. Today, I was with a group, and we wanted to watch football games so we sat outside at the bar. Here’s a piece of advice: If your bar tender at Villaggio, is Monica, here are the choices: 1. Ask for another bar tender. Keith is a great option. 2. Move to a different section of the bar because the bar tenders other than Monica seemed to be excellent. 3. Leave. Go to another bar. Monica is rude. Monica doesn’t pay attention to her customers. Monica rolls her eyes when someone needs something. Monica serves you one drink and never comes back to see if you need another. When someone tries to get Monica’s attention, sometimes she pretends she doesn’t hear the person and sometimes she says, “I know, I know,” and then turns around and walks away. Obviously, she doesn’t know. Monica projects a poor image for such an amazing establishment. With years of restaurant experience, If I had hired Monica, I would remove Monica from my payroll. Thanks, Villaggio, for great food and atmosphere. Please, at the very least, have a chat with Monica.

My first time in Orange Beach, Alabama and this is the first restaurant I go to. Beyond my expectations! Such a cool place to eat! There is an incredible amount of seating here; Indoor and outdoor. There’s a bar you can sit at. There was live music. It sits on the water and you can walk out on a long floating pier. The food was incredible! My server did leave me sitting there wanting something once or twice, but they were very, very busy and he was very kind and respectful.

Our first place we visited on this trip. Mind blown!! Kenny was our server and we took all his recommendations and he was spot on. Great service and he was great advice on what was great dining. Views and ambiance were perfect. All the employees knew their role on the team and they were feeding a lot of people great food. 3 days later I am still craving those Empanadas again. Ordered those!!! I had the blackened catch of the day which was Swordfish and Parmesan Grits. Dessert we ordered two - Deep fried Coconut Cream Pie and the Chocolate Bread Pudding with whiskey sauce. Drinks were great too. We left there thinking how are we ever going to top this night. Outstanding place to dine, relax and know that you are going to be treated well and that your business will be earned at GTs.

This is a fun place for dinner. They were on a 40 minute wait so we opted for faster service at the bar. They were very busy and the service was a bit slow, however appetizers came out almost immediately which was nice. The pork chop is amazing and I definitely recommend. The bourbon glaze is phenomenal. I opted for mashed Yukon potatoes over the sweet potatoes and they did not disappoint. I also loved the Cajun empanadas. My sister got the crab legs and they came out like warm and were hard to crack/eat because of it. They were also pretty small in size. They have a large patio that leads out to the dock which was beautiful at sunset. There was live music on the patio as well.

The food and service are first rate. GT's is part of a group of restaurants that feature great food and service! This doesn't happen by accident, and their operation isn't hit and miss. I had collard greens, smashed Yukon potatoes and the Yellowfin tuna. My goodness gracious it was good! My friend had the Seared Atlantic Salmon Salad. We each ordered a craft draft beer because it was Happy Hour. Both beers were good! We traded "tastes" of our entrees, and my friend's salmon was excellent! We didn't have room for dessert, but maybe next time. We dined alfresco because of the lovely weather. The view of the bay is beautiful! There is a large aquarium inside with a few large saltwater fish. There is a large outdoor playground for children. There was entertainment this evening. A guitarist/singer who sang very well. I highly recommend GT's!
Doug ( — Google review
GT’s sit overlooking Wolf Bay off of Canal Road deep in the heart of Orange Beach. As a wide assortment menu and they have a stone hearth pizza oven and a small salad bar. With a heavy Cajun influence, if you keep a Levitical, Kosher or Halal diet, you will have a hard time finding enough selections at GT’s. Order carefully as many of their offerings have items embedded in them that do not fit with those diets. The appetizer portions are minimal. It’s a big loud restaurant with a gift shop at the entrance, a fish pond in the middle, a big open deck with musical entertainment, bar and a big sandbox with a pirate ship for the children. All this with the background of a lovely view to the bay. A suggestion is to look at the menu before you venture out and make sure there is enough items that fit within your diet. If you don’t partake in pork and shellfish, you will have to settle on something you can get anywhere else. Come on GT’s be inclusive, review and update your menu.

We sat outside by the bay for lunch. It was comfortable even though it is warm. The service was fast and friendly. The lunch specials were excellent food and large servings for the money! Took a walk to the end of the peir and sat in the large chair!

If you are looking for great food at a good value with nice atmosphere, this is the place. We ate here twice for lunch while on vacation in Orange Beach. The GT Special Shrimp Salad, Salmon Salad, and Sunday Brunch Special- Blacked Salmon Benedict were all awesome dishes. The patio area was covered in the last year or so giving it a much more comfortable temperature while viewing the wild life and boat traffic on the bay. Friendly but busy staff. If I'm not mistaken they also have a $10 non seafood lunch menu. At certain times they have live music, we generally prefer to listen to the ocean breeze.

I mean, you stand in line to order your food....which is a bit disappointing, especially when they ask for a tip ( really????). Except that everything else was great!!!! Tasty food, nice variety to choose from. The boba tea was a bit blend. All tastes just tasted the same. There is no milk in the tea, so it was kinda weird.

Love the atmosphere and subdued modern beach aesthetic! You order at the bar and choose your own seat. They have a well rounded menu & excellent flavor. We had the taco sampler and all 3 were delicious! My fav was the Mahi Mahi with shrimp in 2nd and chicken a close 3rd. The chips & salsa were giving a Chili’s vibe which is my all time favorite!! Only thing I would change is the amount of salsa with the meal. It was too little for how delicious it is 💕💕

Super cute, beachy place for some yummy drinks (alcoholic and non). There’s picnic tables on the porch and a couple swings with a kid area, more picnic tables down below the deck covered with umbrellas, and also plenty seating inside. Large variety of drinks, i tried one of the lemonade teas which was delicious and also one of the popping boba teas. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The dunked wedge with chicken tasted as expected, and the chicken was juicy. Unfortunately, the Mediterranean bowl didn’t met expectations. There was a lot in the bowl but the flavors didn’t mesh well together and the fish was dry. The servers were very friendly. Overall, it was a good experience but there’s room for improvement in flavor combos.

We visited this past August. This was our first time in the area and we wanted to try something local with a view. The food was good. I had the calamari and a grouper sandwich. Mom had the fried Gulf shrimp basket. We thought all three tasted great and were fresh. I hope you like steps, because there's plenty of them to go inside. Once inside, they have no customer service. You have to order at the counter and pick up your food when your order is done. For the prices they charge, you expect some kind of service, but forget about it, serve yourself. I just found this to be ridiculous. At least I didn't feel the need to tip anyone but myself, and I'm a good tipper. The view was okay from that height, but all you can really see are other businesses.

We didn't have reservations, but they found seats for my wife and I. We were pleased to hear a singer softly playing guitar & singing. Shelly quickly arrived and offered the special of the day. We deferred: wife ordered grilled shrimp and pasta...more than she could eat! She said it was delicious. I ordered Ribeye, medium. It turned out to be one of the best ribeyes I have ever eaten! Easily in the top 5, maybe top 3! Not cheap, but no complaints. We both ordered a house margarita and it was fabulous! Shelly was attentive, but not invasive...perfect service for a delightful meal makes for a memorable experience. ( $125 including tip)

We enjoyed live music, $3 pours, and scrumptious food, not to mention great service. It's not fancy, but it's warm and quaint and was a great spot to celebrate. Somebody recommended that we go to the Cork room before we went to the play at the community center, I was very impressed with the atmosphere and a great bartender. I thought it was really mediocre for the price. Shrimp scampi Was good but nothing to brag about, my friend got the cheese ravioli. There was no bread service. That was very disappointing !! Sorry but Walmarts Is two blocks away,. I know it’s Walmart but at least they have fresh baked bread. It’s better than none. it didn’t seem like she was too surprised (The bartender ) there was no bread service,,, once again bar service was great and very knowledgeable helpful my friends enjoyed half-price glasses of wine. I got the strawberry shortcake as a dessert. And it was good. Definitely plenty of heavy whipping cream . Not the typical white whipped cream but I did enjoy it

We tried this place for lunch recently and it was pretty good. We had our 3 year old with us. There’s not much to pick from for kids, but she enjoyed the chicken bite appetizer. Great portion for the price. The stuffed avocado with tuna was excellent. The spicy shrimp wrap had great flavor. The sweet potato fries were tasty. After looking around for a place to eat and jumping to three different restaurants behind another family I found the cove and recommend it to them as we walked out of the last place we waited at for service. A local at the previous restaurant said great things ab it, ran into another local in the parking lot as the other family came up we all walked in and seemed to have enjoyed everything. There was live music, darts, a couple pool tables, outside seating and clean restrooms. I tried their speciality hurricane which was great, the stuffed avocado which everyone recommended. My husband had the burger, I took a bite and the char was great, and it tasted like it was cooked on a clean grill, IYKYK. Outside seating, friendly and attentive staff for only being three of them, fast service and a really cool hole in the wall environment. It was a great time. We ended up staying a lot longer than anticipated and watched a line form at the door and watched them just as expeditiously take care of it. 10/10 Recommend, we'll definitely be back.

I dined alone tonight on the marina. I ordered the Patron Tower and 2 drunk men walking past on the marina sat down at my table and said I looked like I needed company. Diane and my waiter, Devin, came out and Diane let the gentlemen know I was dining alone and they needed to pay for the 2 margaritas they drank off my tower. Thank you so much for making me feel safe, Diane. I didn’t know if anyone was looking or paying attention. Devin was so friendly, attentive, and words cannot express how much I appreciate them. Additionally, the jerk chicken quesadilla was delicious, as were the drinks. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Veronica G — Google review
The food was delicious, wait staff goes above and beyond. They work together, coordinating perfectly. We sat on back patio waterway. Beautiful view.
Kyleen S — Google review
For a quick bite, this place was sufficient. The rum punch was lacking rum, so we ended up ordering a separate shot for our drink. The tacos were pretty good. Fried grouper was delish, the firecracker shrimp was way too sweet and the steak was too chewy. All and all we had a good view and good service with decent food.
Tiffany B — Google review
We had 10 adults and 6 young children... every server's worst nightmare. Devin was the most gracious server, food was great, prices were fair, games and boats outside for the kids while we waited for entrees (and you could walk around with your cocktail). Managers pleasantly checked on us twice. Honestly, the best dining experience a large group could hope for.
Grace C — Google review
Fun place to hang out and great food and drinks. While my companions went for the cheaper "happy hour" drinks, I had the Pain Eraser. It was so delicious I decided to have two. Might have even went for three but they're pretty pricey. No I'm not a drinker but they were just that good! Word of advice. If you're feeling very hungry, don't order the Mexican pizza (regular size) for just you. It will serve several people. If it's happy hour, ordered a smaller one unless you're sharing it. The brisket queso was okay but I was expecting shredded brisket instead of large chunks of brisket which would have made it better. I was the only one who had a complaint about that, everybody else at the table thought it was amazing. The Firecracker shrimp taco was heavenly. I wish I had ordered 3 of them. I had the peanut ginger tacos which were great but no comparison to the Firecracker shrimp tacos. My friend had the tuna poke bowl and said it was delish! I would definitely eat here again if I'm ever in the area.

The absolute most bland, dry, & over cooked food I've ever had. Ordered the Honey Lime Chicken Burrito, the "sauce" on top was dry, not even considered a "sauce", literally looked & tasted like the burrito was made yesterday. Chicken was dry & overcooked. Had to chew it to death. There was only 1 customer dining in when I was there, no reason the food should be overpriced & not good. Spent $43 to be sorely disappointed. Do NOT recommend.

The menu features delectable dishes such as Beef Tenderloin Bites and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, which are highly recommended by visitors. The restaurant offers great happy hour deals and an inviting outdoor seating area. Guests praise the attentive service and delightful food, including the shrimp and grits and roasted oysters.
Stopped for lunch on 6/22/25. We were quickly seated and immediately served fresh bread right out of the oven. For the main course, I had the “Fish of the Day” (grilled grouper). It was cooked to absolute savory perfection! Sides of smashed potatoes & green beans were also delicious. Delicious food, fast and friendly service! Highly recommended!

This was the best meal we had while staying in Orange Beach. The seafood pasta was insane! Amazing key lime pie and great cocktails. We also had the calamari and Grouper and both were top notch! Our server Charlie was amazing as well!
Kristin K — Google review
Calamari was good, not steaks as listed in the menu but normal circles. Raw oysters were good and shucked properly. Tortellini and house salad were good as well. Service was slow and not great but the food got there. Nice views. Very convenient to hotel and the wharf, would return.
Kayne P — Google review
They have a GREAT happy hour! The server was superrr nice but I think he was new so he didn't know a ton of info but the deals were fantastic. The oysters were $1, the shrimp scampi pasta was only $12 and so good. The view was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely come back if in town!
Taylor E — Google review
Nice small waterfront restaurant. We had the raw oysters, a rum runner, loaded tots and both had the lasagna special. The special was $14.99 and came with a large piece of lasagna, salad, bread and choice of wine or draft beer. The loaded tots were $12 and a very small portion for an appetizer. The rum runner was $18 and not that great. The lasagna special was great. And our waitress was awesome. Food came quickly. I highly recommend the Wednesday lasagna special.
Dana B — Google review
Great experience and awesome food. We came early for dinner-around 430/5. They have an amazing special - $1 oysters. They were great- nice and big! Everything we got was wonderful. We tried the calamari which was very good. Then for dinner we had the salmon, pineapple mahi, burger, and the ponchartrain - everything was amazing!!!! Service was great. One of us gets a burger everywhere- and this was by far the best one this vacation. Would highly recommend this place.
Penny Y — Google review
Very quaint restaurant with very good food, great views and convenient to the tours for the area. The interior seating is a bit loud; however, the patio seating has both covered and uncovered with great waterfront views.
Wallace F — Google review
We were able to sit outside facing the boats and water. All three of us had a drink, Cosmo, Sunset Martini, and a glass of wine. My sister in law and I had the Mahi which was delicious with the risotto. My husband had the surf and turf which was filet mingon and a crab cake. We all really enjoyed our food. We split the Key Lime Pie for dessert. Our waitress was fantastic and checked on us numerous times. I could not take any more fried seafood which seemed to be mostly on every restaurants menu. We all couldn't have been happier with our choice.

My husband and I absolutely loved everything about our visit to The Galway! The food was out of this world! We loved everything we ordered but the St. Patty melt was our favorite by far. So much flavor and a great portion size. Also, the atmosphere and service were spot on.

Amazing experience! Food was very delicious. Some of the best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had. All of our meals were very good. One of my top recommendations in the area now for those who want a switch up from seafood.

Come on my Irish peeps. Season your food more and it would be PERFECT! Such a cool Irish pub. Probably the coolest and most legit one I’ve been to other than McGuires. They actually season their food! Their menu is firee with lots of options and the Irish classics! Great and friendly service! Manager hisself checked on us and welcomed us in. Live music outside seating with patio and a view!

Wow! What a diamond in the rough….Excellent Irish Pub with a great atmosphere and food and service that match. Live Dublin feed playing while you dine. The staff was very welcoming and informative. The food was over the top! We had loaded potato skins, Chicken Killarney sandwich, St PattyMelt and Guinness Mac and Cheese Everything made from scratch and the beer cheese sauce was authentic. I am an executive chef and hard to please and usually find something sub par. Not here! Everything was perfectly prepared and the portions very generous. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served. Patrick provided excellent service. Definitely one of my favorite hidden gem restaurants that I will frequent often Well done Galway Irish Pub !
Lance B — Google review
The Galway makes the true definition of an Irish pub, the perfect one for my family's vacation in Orange Beach last month. I was fascinated by the "living room" that their website clearly states they are for locals. They had a "living room" with a fireplace in the back. That's not something seen in the Irish-American pub restaurant Dublin's Pass in Springfield, Missouri, where I live. Nevertheless, The Galway is truly similar to Dublin's Pass, for both are wonderful Irish pub restaurants. I traditionally order two appetizers whenever I dine alone at Dublin's Pass, and I followed that tradition here in Gulf Shores. I ordered their Scotch egg and Boxtys, a traditional Irish dish that Dublin's Pass does not have. If I ever go back to Baldwin County, Alabama, then I will undoubtedly want to visit this restaurant again. In fact, if I were to live in Gulf Shores, then I would visit this place for dinner again and again.
Brady M — Google review
Scotch egg was one of the best I have ever had. Perfect cook and great flavors. Also had the fish sandwich and chips; and large pretzel. Car bomb was delicious also. Service was beyond great. Hidden gem in Orange Beach.
Wayne S — Google review
Great to have an Irish pub in biking distance from the Gulf State Park! Proper pint of Guinness, roasted brussel sprouts and some wings. Their take on an espresso martini was tasty!
Bert N — Google review
From the moment we walked into Galloway Irish Pub, we felt like honored guests, thanks in large part to Dean, our exceptional waiter. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, Dean made our evening feel like a celebration. He knew just when to check in, offered great recommendations, and brought a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. The fish and chips were everything you hope for in a classic pub dish; golden, crispy batter encasing flaky fish, paired with perfectly seasoned fries and a tangy house-made tartar sauce. Comfort food at its finest. Then came the shepherd’s pie, a rich and savory masterpiece. The filling was robust and flavorful, topped with creamy mashed potatoes that were lightly crisped on top... the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes and savor every bite. Galloway Irish Pub nails the balance between cozy atmosphere, authentic flavors, and top-tier service. If you’re lucky enough to be served by Dean, you’re in for a treat.

In addition to locally crafted coffees and infused teas, they also serve house-baked breakfast goods and light lunch offerings.
Great place to watch the sunrise. Beach access with wash stations on both decks. I got the fox squirrel every morning for a week. Great coffee and service. I will be going back next year's vacation.
James P — Google review
This coffeeshop is located in the lobby of the Gulf Shores Lodge, which is honestly a really nice spot. You can drink your coffee by the fireplace or by the dunes with a lovely ocean view. We also had excellent service. BUT, for coffee afficionados - the espresso machine is automatic and therefore doesn't make the best brew, especially for the premium price.
Corinne F — Google review
The view of the ocean from this coffee shop is remarkable!! The service was fantastic. Coffee is OK. It wasn’t my favorite, but the view makes up for it
Heather B — Google review
5/5 for atmosphere and views. 4/5 on the coffee. It's not a specialty coffee spot (there aren't any of those in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach), so the coffee itself can't hit that 5/5 rating. But that said: the coffee drinks and pastries are both very tasty and very enjoyable here. Grab a mocha and drink it while sitting in a comfortable chair watching the waves roll in and the clouds drift past. And they have Guinness and Glenlivet, so that's a win too :)
Dustin M — Google review
Cute coffee shop a part of a hotel/resort. Coffee was good and the guy that served us was sweet. The seating and the atmosphere was the best part! Outdoor and indoor seating, very personal and cozy area to sit and chat/sip.

Got a coffee and then sat outside to welcome the day. The views are amazing! We aren’t staying at the hotel so we feel like this is a brilliant vacation hack! Definitely come get a coffee and sit out on the back deck. 10/10!

The coffee shop is inside the hotel lobby so it is not a stand alone shop. The selection was limited however the quality was great! The beach view is a plus and perfect for a rainy day in Gulf Shores.

The waterfront spot also serves delicious food such as juicy burgers, smothered chimichangas, and spicy boudin balls while patrons can catch their favorite team on the screens. Visitors have praised the menu for its variety and freshly prepared dishes.
Absolutely! Here’s a concise, engaging Google review based on your feedback: --- We’ve visited Ice House Taproom three times and always had a great experience. The view of the sunset over the bay is beautiful, and we even spotted an alligator one evening! The food is consistently good—especially the pork wings, chicken wings, burgers, and Mexican salad. Prices are reasonable and not touristy, and the atmosphere feels local and welcoming. We enjoyed some live music during dinner, and the owner/manager Anthony always greeted us warmly. My only suggestion is for the bartenders to be a bit more attentive, as we often had to go to the bar ourselves. Overall, a fantastic spot off the beaten path with great food and views. We’ll definitely be back! Sources

Drinks were good but food was pretty lame. Burger was tasty but it came with literally 10 fries. My egg-roll/s was MEGA SPICY, not even my husband could finish it. Light brown hair bartender was very nice and quick. Good atmosphere, but a bit too loud (almost club level). Definitely not a place to sit down and eat like we did. Just have drinks.
Carmen T — Google review
My finance and I came in for a meal and a few drinks. Being promptly greeted by Cassie with drink and food orders was a big plus. The touch tunes juke box is our fave and we were taking full advantage with some St. Paul. Emma came in shortly after and also fulfilled drink orders for us. Both ladies were exceptional with customer interaction and personality! But oh let me tell you, I’m not a picky eater. I’ve eaten a lot of good food In the south. But tonight I found something that TOPPED everything I’ve had in Gulf Shores.. and that’s the Boudin balls. The flavor of these will grab you by your shoulders and shake you. I’ve never been down to Louisiana but I’d like to think these gave me a prefect glimpse of what to expect. It’s the perfect dive for a kid-less couple seeking a great environment for dinner. This place will be on the TOP of our list for our yearly visit to the Gulf.

Came in today for Happy Hour. Which is AMAZING BTW! Was immediately greeted by the bartender Frank and he recommended the Happy Hour Food Specials! They come with a Busch Light! Tom’s of options to choose from. Really want to try the Mexican. They have live music and are located mins from the beach with a Lake behind. The food is delicious and has Island vibes FOREAL! Highly recommend you come here for a quick snack and a beer with some amazing views!😭😎

This is our go to bar! From the incredible bartenders who always take care of us to the fun vibes. We love it here. The food never disappoints either. There is live music daily, which is awesome. If you're there when the sun is setting, you get a gorgeous view. They have an outside bar that has all the same taps like the inside bar. During football season, they have college and NFL. This is such a great place if you want to go by yourself, your SO, or a group of friends. 10 out of 10 recommend!
Natashia L — Google review
Upbeat atmosphere… ladies hit the button in the bathroom for sure! Frank just made me an amazing Bullet Rye old fashion. The beer tap collection is unrivaled in the city. Try the Blue Steel on tap. Lastly, make sure you order food. The Boudin queso dip is phenomenal.

Nolan's Restaurant & Lounge is a long-standing favorite in Gulf Shores, offering award-winning steaks and seafood in an upscale setting with serene bayou views. The restaurant features live dance music every night, including performances by the popular house band, Midnight Confessions. Known for its mature customer base, Nolan's provides a classy dining experience with excellent service and a menu that includes Greek-style fare.
My husband and I went here for a date night while we were on vacation. I enjoy going to the old school steak restaurants, so I picked Nolan's because of their Instagram posts. I'm glad I did. We had a great experience and it was exactly the type of restaurant I was looking for. Service was great. We ordered the steer butt and the Cajun grilled prime rib, both were excellent. The meat was cooked perfect, baked potato and salad were good. It is typical prices for a nicer steak house, so don't expect a cheap dinner. We enjoyed the live music and old school vibe.
Lauren B — Google review
Probably the best food on the island. Everything is good. Steaks are excellent. Very good selection of wines. Live music and dancing almost every night. Very experienced help. Opens at 5:00PM. You should hurry... rumors abound that they might close and relocate in Dec. 2017. UPDATE: (Jan. 2019) The finest place to eat in Gulf Shores is gone! So sad!😞
Alden C — Google review
Nolans is a great fine dining restaurant. We had no wait when we went at about 7:30, the service was exceptional. They do not seat people who come in looking like they just woke up from bed, you do have dress nice. The food was great, had the New York Strip steak, grilled to perfection. Prices are high, but with the food as good as it is and the wait staff being on point, price doesn't matter.
Russell S — Google review
We love this place!! We booked their private room for my son-in law and daughter's wedding reception back in June 2014 without visiting the restaurant. I have to admit I was a little worried since we are from Texas and not having any idea what the food would be like or what the restaurant would look like but to my wonderful surprise it was all fabulous!! Most of our guest had steak and it was perfect and plenty. The staff was very professional and kind, whatever we needed they supplied. We had almost 50 guest and plenty of room to visit. We were also allowed to come earlier than scheduled to decorate. I would say an absolute thumbs up for this place!! When we come back for vacation we will visit again. Thanks so much to our new Alabama friends for such a great experience! Bret and Gay Shafer Kevin and Tiffany Forsyth

We were there in Jan 2014, I had the chef's special for the night, red snapper with crab, shrimp and a lobster mushroom sauce, it was one of the BEST fish dishes I have ever had. My also enjoyed her meal. The service was great and the drinks were also every good. I would recommend Nolan's to anyone going to Gulf Shores.
Dick R — Google review
New Years Eve was a off night for Nolan's. Was seated at 8 and was not served main coarse until after 11. Slow drink service made the night even longer! Food was good when we finally got it but had to alter choice after turning in order an hour earlier. Totally disappointed with the lack of value for supposibly a special evening!

My wife and I had a great time. Dinner was tasty but took a while to be served. After dinner we went to the lounge and the music and atmosphere was great. Would definitely come back next time we are in town.

I give very few 5 star reviews but this is one. It is pricey, but I do not mind that if they deliver...and this place does. Service is top notch. Visitors praise the generous portions, friendly staff, and affordable beers at this family-friendly sports bar. Additionally, it's a popular choice for watching sports on TV and hosting trivia nights.
This place was so great! Everywhere else was so packed & our kids were starving! We asked the parking attendant @ Lulu's where he likes to go & he recommended Rafters to us. We told him we'd plan better & see him tomorrow back at Lulu's. The food was so good. We had burgers ( it was a 1/2 lb for $10) salads & some pulled pork BBQ. We had their "frickles" fried pickles for a starter. Awesome! Huge portions, friendly staff, cheap beers & excellent selection too, family friendly sports bar. Food and drinks were good- Service was awful- Hostess was totally annoyed by our arrival- server seemed like she was just having a rough time so the service was mediocre at best- the only redeeming factor was the quality of the food and drink. That alone will not save this business- we were one of two tables at the restaurant ... Best wishes to the owner but i would advise hiring more friendly staff as priority one.
