Asian restaurant
MyLahore is a popular South Asian cafe-bar with four chic floors offering a fusion of Indian and British cuisine. The restaurant, inspired by the cuisine of Lahore in Pakistan, serves classic curries alongside British staples like sponge cakes. It's a modern and colorful space where young people enjoy unique pairings like lassis with burgers or seekh kebabs with jam roly poly pudding.
Nice place for dine in, taste is good. A variety of dishes available. Service is good. Well decorated place but ambience is not that great. Sitting is too congested. Little bit pricey. Overall we enjoyed the food.

I loved my meal! I’m a late convert to South Asian food but when I come across a place like this I wonder what took me so long to appreciate such flavourful cuisine. Loved it! And the portions were soooo generous. I did well. It was a bit naughty to finish it all but I wasn’t sure I could take my leftovers home. I’m pretty sure it would have been possible in retrospect but it was too good to leave any behind … ! Our server was really friendly and not too pushy and the family vibe was relaxing and I was so comfortable I could have stayed … This is a great asset to the community and to the city!

Popped in just for dessert because of the parking and seating—huge plus! The manager and staff were lovely, and the desserts hit the spot. Ps, The chocolate sponge was a little skimpy for the price.
Yasin L — Google review
The lamb chops were nice, as was the dynamite chicken (that was a bit different). The issue we had, was the lamb shank was room temperature and sauce with it lukewarm. The flavour and spice level was fine. I don't expect them to cook it from scratch, but it should be warm as a standard (plus it isn't a cheap dish). The other issue was the mild dum chicken biryani, that was way hotter than my lamb dish with visible chillies. Was fine for me, but that was no mild heat and too hot for my mother. It didn't say it was hot on the menu and we did say mild, as was shown on the receipt. Could just be what we chose or how it was cooked today. I know it's popular spot, because they do curries and other cuisines to suit the city. Sure it'll be good on another day. Service was fine and seating available.

My lahore is a wonderful place i frequently visit this place due to its immense flavourful and delightful food. The food is highly diverse and amazing. The person to serve me was navjeet she is kind and considerate. I had a pleasant experience with My Lahore and will visit again in the future and recommend this place !!!

Great visit! The curry ordered was full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and the service was flawless (especially from Shahid who went above and beyond to make us all out feel at home). The portions were generous, prices reasonable, and the whole place had a warm, inviting atmosphere. We was working locally and without doubt, would highly recommend grabbing food here. - from Batfast.

Great service from Ali. The food was delicious in generous portions at a reasonable prize. We didn't have to wait long as it was quiet early but it got busy quickly for the lunch time even on a Monday so I suggest booking a table. They also have a prayer room available. The child in our party was given some colouring to keep them busy and also lollipops when we left. We would def go back to try more dishes from the menu which offers both asian and british food.

This is an amazing restaurant. The food is excellent, the portion sizes very generous and the service absolutely wonderful. Iqra was our server and she could not have been more helpful, friendly or attentive. The four of us all highly recommend this restaurant. It is great!

Indian restaurant
International Restaurant Bradford is a well-established dining spot offering a wide range of Indian cuisine in a cozy setting. Visitors have praised the delectable dishes such as channa murgh and the inviting ambiance. The restaurant is conveniently located near various shopping destinations, making it an ideal stop for a satisfying meal after a day of retail therapy in Bradford.
Food was amazing but gave 4 stars for the atmosphere due to a crowd of people forming near the door at peak times. It doesn't seem to be handled well at all, resulting in a lot of people (who are waiting for tables) to just stand around the tables near the entrance, staring at people eating their meals. Other than that amazing place. Been a few times now and has become the new regular place to visit for a curry in Bradford - travelled over from other side of manchester.

International Curry Restaurant Bradford - A Must-Visit! I recently had the pleasure of dining at International Curry Restaurant in Bradford and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment we walked in, the aroma of spices promised an authentic experience, and it certainly delivered. We tried a variety of dishes, both of which were incredibly flavorful and perfectly spiced. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food received. The service was excellent Adam looked after us. The restaurant itself had a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it ideal for both a casual meal and a special occasion. If you're in Bradford and craving a delicious and authentic curry, I highly recommend International Curry Restaurant. It's a true gem!

Can not fault International. The team were so accommodating, friendly and service was excellent. The food was by far the best I have ever had. Perfect level of spice, condiments with the poppadoms were also delicious

One of top places in the uk for curry’s or Asian food in general. The place is very well looked after, the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The service is second to none. Have been going here for years and will continue to 👍🏽

Very nice atmosphere and excellent waiting staff and good service. The food was not bad. It was nice but nothing special. Defo worth going at least once to check out. Iv been told the flagship restaurant is better. Will try that one next.

Had such a great experience here! The vibes were amazing, really relaxed but still lively. The food was honestly 10/10, everything tasted incredible. The staff were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Our server, Ehsaan, was especially lovely and so accommodating throughout the night. Junaid was also great, really funny, friendly, and just added to the good vibes of the night.Couldn’t have asked for better service. Definitely coming back!

South Asian restaurant
Prashad is a vibrant and intimate restaurant that offers South Indian and Gujarati vegetarian cuisine. It has been serving superbly spiced dishes since 1992, with flavors that are precise yet lively and portions that are generous. The restaurant is known for its Michelin-approved Indian vegetarian food and is located in a converted pub between Bradford and Leeds. Prashad's menu features an intricate mix of traditional and new Gujarati dishes, all made with the very best local ingredients.
This place has so many accolades for a reason, it is simply impressive. The pani puri was amazing and slightly reminded me of what you would get on the streets of Amedabad. The Kofta was amazing along with the roti! (Not to mention the ginger old fashion that’s not so Gujarati :) ) Come to this place if you love Indian food! Perhaps they will prepare something Jain for you if asked :) )

What a gorgeous place. The staff were lovely and attentive, answering our questions about the food and offering recommendations. The food is just beautiful, both in taste and visually.

Had a really great time at Prashad with my colleagues. The starters were great! Its impressive- the innovation of food with veg ingredients. We had Kopra pethis (which seemed a great innovation), chat is really fabulous, and also Paneer Gulla. For mains we had Renghan Wattan (Aubergine curry)- which was really different but tasty varient of aubergine curry. Paneer and Chatta Biryani And also the fixed price menu- which had kanda bhaji and thali with variety of tasty items (paneer, tadka dal, Palak mushroom, boondi, etc) and masala dosa Overall a really great experience 😊👍🏼
Ananya D — Google review
Visited the restaurant as it was highly recommended. Made reservations for a Friday night and the place wasn’t very busy. We ordered the Maharani Thali, while the food was good but nothing really stood out. Also surprisingly the people in the group were served different ‘currys and starters’ which seemed a bit odd! I suppose this would be great for sharing! Overall, I would rate it as good, and can visit, it not necessarily the 1st or 2nd option when choosing a restaurant.

Disappointing Experience Due to Hidden Service Charge I recently visited Prashad with a tasting menu voucher for two, and while the evening began well, the experience declined quickly. The first four courses were flavorful, though portions were overly large, leaving us full too soon. The dishes were also too spicy at times, with chunky herbs that detracted from the meal. By the time we reached the final three courses, including an underwhelming dessert, the quality had noticeably dropped. The menu itself was tasty for the first four courses—flavours were fresh and very aromatic. However, portions were much too big and we were full by the 4th course. My partner felt that the dishes were a bit too spicy at times and the herbs and aromatics could be quite chunky and need spitting out. Does not make for a romantic dinner date! The last three courses, including the dessert, were quite underwhelming. Service felt rushed, with plates whisked away too quickly. We felt that this was overwhelming and rushed the pacing of the meal. When it came to getting the attention of the waitstaff for other things, it felt like it took forever to get their attention. Service was slow and inattentive once the dishes were on the table, which diminished the experience. The atmosphere wasn’t great either, for a ‘fine dining Indian restaurant’ it felt more like a family style restaurant. Disappointing as we were expecting a more refined experience. We had to move seats as we were sat in the corner table initially, which was extremely cramped. Tables were so crowded together you could hear every conversation happening at once. This also made it difficult to hear the descriptions of the tasting menu- which were not delivered with the most enthusiasm… this would’ve been resolved if we were provided a tasting menu list on the table to follow, which is standard for such experiences. The real issue, though, was the unexpected compulsory service charge. Despite being labeled as “discretionary,” we were told it was mandatory for the tasting menu. This was especially frustrating as it was a gifted experience, and we didn’t expect to pay extra on a prepaid voucher. While I don’t mind paying service charge on drinks or extras, it feels unfair to impose it on the portion of the gifted meal. It would’ve been better if they had simply factored it into the overall price. We ordered £12.75 worth of drinks but with the service charge we were expected to pay over £24! They removed the service charge on the drinks after we told them to but they refused to remove the £8 service charge on the tasting menu! While the first few courses were excellent, the poor service and forced service charge ruined the evening. It’s a shame, as I otherwise might have recommended Prashad, but this hidden cost and lack of refinement mean I won’t be returning. Don’t expect Michelin-level dining here.
T C — Google review
I love that the menu here is 100% vegetarian—it makes choosing so easy. The mixed starter is incredible, and after three visits I can honestly say this is a fantastic curry house. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

We had the set meal for 2 and were delighted with what was provided! The food was very good, but they also focus on the presentation of the food which is really well done!
Adrian ( — Google review
I live in northern France and have eaten very good to superb meals here, including a stack of starred restaurants. I travel throughout Europe for food vacations and love the meals I've had. My wife and I ate here on Sunday and had the most enjoyable meal of the last three years! It wasn't the best meal I've eaten, but clearly the most enjoyable. Thoughtful, complex composed courses with flavor profiles and combinations I've never had or thought of. If we lived in Bradford, we would eat there all the time. We don't, so sadly this may be the only time or one of two times we get to be treated to such special tastes. And the chef is a doll. We spoke at the end of our meal and she's as interesting and passionate as her food and restaurant. I am proud to have dined here and strongly urge those of you who read this to go out of your way to do so also. Truly stunning food.

Tharavadu is a renowned Keralan restaurant located in Leeds, offering a modern dining experience with traditional Indian cuisine. The restaurant has been recommended by the Michelin guide for three consecutive years and is known for its authentic Keralan dishes. The menu features a variety of options including meat, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes. With floor-to-ceiling windows and polished wood floors, the venue provides a contemporary setting to enjoy South Indian flavors.
Fantastic food, flavours i've never experienced before. Excellent service. Upstairs can be a bit loud with large groups dining, conversation was difficult at times but didn't spoil our enjoyment of a wonderful meal. Next time i'll request a quieter table downstairs though.

What an amazing experience. I loved the food so much, some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten! The vegan options are really good- their take on poppadoms are so tasty and the fried lentil rings are unlike anything I’ve ever had before. Can’t wait to go back!

We went here for the first time after contemplating for long but oh my, the food was top level👌👌 We ordered two Kerala parathas, Meen Kootan, Kozhi Kurumulog(Chef’s Special) and it was more than enough for three people. I personally loved Chef’s special more than Meen Kootan but my friends really loved Meen Kootan. We also ordered mango lassi and Pranaya Rasam(strawberries with lime) and I really loved the fresh strawberries taste in it instead of having some syrupy taste to it. Service was so good, the people over there are so smiling, very sweet, and a person named Roni served us and he was so friendly and very attentive. Would recommend going again as well. Thank you.
PREETHIKA S — Google review
Came here on a friends recommendation and no regrets! The service was friendly and prompt, even seating is earlier than we had booked due to heavy rain outside which was nice! The food was excellent, every mouthful just made me smile, I had the seafood curry and it was spot on. Certainly be back! My only quibble was the seating we had was near the toilets and the washroom for pots, quite noisy and busy with staff moving in and out.

Amazing staff! Even though the place was packed with customers, everyone was attended to with such genuine smiles and great energy. As for the food , I don’t even need to say much! The crowd spoke for itself. truly lived up to the hype. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy real, delicious Kerala cuisine served with warmth and hospitality!

Visited on a bustling Monday, and it’s easy to see why it was packed! The authentic Kerala cuisine was absolutely phenomenal, with a spice blend that brought incredible depth and flavour to every dish. While it’s not the cheapest, the quality makes it worth every penny. Highly recommend for a true taste of Kerala, definitely different from the mainstream.

Absolutely superb! The food was fantastic, beautifully presented and totally delicious - The Keralan flavours, decor and music made for a unique and memorable experience. The staff were also superb - friendly, helpful and clearly very proud of their cuisine and culture

tharavadu in leeds is a south indian restaurant specialising in dishes from kerala. it’s a great spot if you’re looking for something different from the usual north indian or pakistani/punjabi style cuisine you normally find in the uk. we tried chilli paneer, kerala kozhi curry, kozhi kurumulag, vazhuthananga curry, and paper masala dosa. overall, it was great. i really enjoyed trying proper kerala dishes. the curries were delicious though i felt there wasn’t a huge amount of variation between them, all with a similar coconut taste. the cocktails and drinks were very good, and the service was excellent, with staff who were friendly and helpful. coined the “best restaurant in leeds”. a very grand statement to make, especially as leeds is full of amazing spots. however i do believe that tharavadu is definitely up there with the greats of leeds. i really recommend you go and see for yourself.

Bar & grill

Spanish restaurant
Tapas restaurant
Qubana is a spacious grill-restaurant located in the heart of Wakefield, housed in the former Barclays bank building. It offers innovative cuisine with a combination of Spanish and South American flavors, featuring tapas and small plates. The restaurant provides live entertainment, including tribute acts, adding to its vibrant atmosphere. With a focus on locally sourced ingredients, Qubana recreates the Latin flair of Cuba and Spain in its menu offerings.
Having ignored this place for a few years for no particular reason I finally gave the place a try on my latest visit home. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. In the space of a week I came here four times, for drinks and food.A Cuban themed restaurant and bar looking very smart and hitting way above anything else Wakefield has to offer. The drinks, of which I had several margaritas over the different visits, were the best in Wakefield. The food was absolutely gorgeous (great choice of varied dishes). Service was friendly, helpful and professional. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality. I imagine at peak times the place would get very busy so for meals it might be best to book in advance. They also have a terrace bar and also a private dining room in the old vault which doesn't cost any extra but booking advised. They also have live music in the evenings occasionally.I really can't fault this place, it really is one of the best restaurant/bars in Wakefield. Fourth visit... Everything still amazing apart from the margarita I had, not sure the bar person knew how to make it, another member of staff gave her a quick run through but it didn't taste the greatest and the presentation wasn't as good as previous visits. No doubt I'll be back to try again in the future. Fingers crossed. Fifth visit... Food still amazing, service still brilliant (lady with piercings, she was amazing, friendly, helpful and welcoming),the manager still makes a great margarita. Cheers.

Joined our friends for a meal and drinks in the 'Vault' in Qubana tonight to celebrate their anniversary. What a wonderful experience, and enjoyed by all. We got to be in the actual Vault as a private party. The food. The staff and the overall experience was excellent. I personally had the lamb to start. Followed by the Flat Iron steak as a main. It was absolutely perfect. Fantastic food. ALL the staff, and l mean ALL. Were fantastic. Very attentive. Very helpful. Spoke to a lady who l assume was the manager. We all passed on our delight at the food and staff. Thank you for listening. Sorry, we didn't get your name. Or the names of your staff. But you're all appreciated. Whoever cooked our food. A big thank you to you, too. It was divine. Kind regards Ian & Sarah

It was on my bucket list to visit since it opened. I had to call to book a table. During the call I stated I would need access for my walking frame and they said it would be fine. When arrived there were a few stairs up to reception and when I was being directed to my table there were a few more stairs. They could see my rollator which is my walking frame and they didn’t give me any other options. My Dad had to help me up the stairs and down again when we had finished. So whether there is any wheelchair access at all or not, I don’t know. I certainly wasn’t offered any. They also add a 10% tip to your bill, so please check for this before you pay. We hadn’t realised it until we got home but we had paid over £8 with this tip, which is more than we would tip normally. The place in general is different from the norm. It has a nice atmosphere and tasty food, but because I use a mobility aid I doubt I will be able to visit this place again because of the stairs.

Wedding party- 9th August. Finally getting around to writing our review but what a fab time we had! Everything leading up to the day was perfect, strong communication, all decisions led by us and a real excitement was shown from all the team to hold our event. Nothing was too much and we genuinely can’t thank everybody enough. We are so grateful to all the staff that were a part of our day, especially Kai, Johnny, Sophie and Louise for making it absolutely perfect. They were so professional throughout but were still so friendly and had a laugh with us all, making it feel that they genuinely cared to be a part of it. A big thank you also to the owners. You have a beautiful venue and a fantastic team. Qubana has always been one of our favourite places and now it holds even more importance and memories for us. 💕

Really impressive setting that contains your classic Mediterranean-inspired British restaurant... It's a really nice vibe. However, sadly, the food is less impressive. For the price you should be wowed, but the standard of the food is totally unremarkable. It's just.... Fine. What did leave an impression was the tiny portion sizes. Want to feel full? Don't order from the tapas menu. This place epitomises the jokes about "small plates" being a way of extracting every penny from you whilst ensuring you are never really full. Desserts were delicious, however. The staff are friendly but forgot items ordered and it was difficult getting the bill. All told, it promises much in a cool building with nice decor and a good menu. However, we felt the food didn't deliver and the small portion sizes, when considered alongside the cost, left us feeling hungry and in need of snacks back home - we would have run out of cash before we ran out of space for food!

Located in the heart of Leeds at the Victoria Quarter Arcades, The Ivy Victoria Quarter is a two-story restaurant known for its vibrant decor and British menu offerings. The restaurant's traditional green and gold Art Deco stylings create a stylish and elegant atmosphere, with outdoor seating available for sunny days. Renowned for its delectable afternoon tea, the venue features an art deco interior with gold leaf ceilings and a twenties-style bar.
We didn’t book, but decided to call in here to have a light bite and a glass of Prosecco in the outdoor dining area. The waiter, Jack, came straight over and offered us water. We chatted a little and he asked whether we were celebrating anything, and we told him that it was my birthday and that was our reason for being in Leeds. We explained we are only having a small plate because we have a meal booked later in the day. The food we had was amazing, I highly recommend the crab starter, it’s definitely a special dish. We finished our food and asked for the bill. Next, Jack walks over with a desert with a candle in it And it had a little chocolate saying happy birthday on it. I was over the moon and it made my day. I want to thank you so much for your kindness and amazing service. Jack is a credit to the Restaurant (which is absolutely stunning). A Service like this Is memorable for all the right reasons and I will probably never forget his kindness 🩷🩷🩷

We visited The Ivy, Leeds on July 16, 2025, to celebrate my daughter’s university graduation and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is beautiful, perfect for a special occasion. I had the prix fixe menu with duck salad, sea bass, side of mashed potatoes and crème brûlée — all delicious. One of my daughters had the same but chose the chocolate bombe, which was amazing too. Service was top-notch, our server was lovely and super attentive. Even the bathrooms were pretty! Highly recommend!

Wow..... Food is incredible and amazing service. My steak was so good, cooked to medium and the hake was so well presented. The wine was beautiful but the port was served at the perfect temperature, along with the cheese!

All of the staff were friendly. The restaurant was bright and welcoming. Our waiter was very attentive, explained that the gift voucher value I had for a cream tea could be used on the main menu instead. We had the cream tea. It was lovely. We got a large pot of tea each and 3 fresh, warm scones with cream & jam each. We were offered an extra tea bag each as we like strong tea! As it was my birthday, the waiter brought me a giant profiterole with a candle in it. A lovely touch.

We were at the Ivy having Sunday lunch this weekend What a lovely Sunday lunch it was 🙂 The service from the staff was very attentive and helpful not to mention how friendly they all were also We had three courses and a nice bottle of Malbec 🍷 😋 We’ll be back again soon for sure 💯

The place it self is fabulous it looks very classy, it just the service isn’t up to par with what it is. We ordered a desert the chocolate bomb, which was ok but not a wow. Portion wasn’t big either, repo ally the ice cream scoop. We also ordered morning and afternoon tea which were very light which was disappointing as the presentation was nice. Overall wouldn’t go again disappointing especially for being over 25 pounds and with 12% service charge.

Beer hall
Bundobust Leeds is a casual craft beer bar that offers a menu of Indian street food in a laid-back setting with bare brick walls and wooden benches. The venue, a collaboration between the owner of Bradford's The Sparrow and the chef from West Yorkshire's Gujarati restaurant Prashad, boasts a street-food vibe, DIY decor, and an impressive selection of craft beers.
The food was really excellent. We got a sharing-meal for three or four people. Can’t remember exactly but there was plenty of food and lots of variety in the dishes. Would probably visit Leeds again just to go here! The tables could be a bit bigger considering so many people get sharing meals!

I really enjoyed the flavors and creativity in the dishes, everything was tasty and well-prepared. However, I found the portion sizes a bit on the smaller side, and the seasoning was slightly heavy, especially the salt and MSG. With a few adjustments, it could be even better. Still, a unique and enjoyable dining experience overall.

Great experience, slightly out of the ordinary with sharing platter snad street food. Shared the vegan platter and paneer, good beer on tap as well. Would definitely recommend

“Shall we pop in here or get the next train?” Wow did we make the right choice were head No off to India in a couple of months so I joked it would be good practice. It’s actually a culinadelight of mini street food style dishes that blow ur mind. I’m a presidential member of the carnivore society but I reckon I could be very easily turned if.i lived near establishments like this. Oh yeah, cracking beers to boot 10/10.

I really wished we lived in Leeds so we could visit more often! Every time we are in town Budobust is always top of the list of our places to visit. All the food is amazing. My favourite is the panneer tikka and my wife's is the bundo chaat. This visit was just a quick pit stop on our way for the train so just a quick snack but we will definitely be back soon!

This place is absolutely brilliant. We moved to Leeds about six months ago, and pretty much everyone we met told us we had to try Bundobust. After finally going, we now feel a bit foolish for waiting so long!— It’s not your typical Indian restaurant. The vibe is relaxed and informal, and the food is something else — creative, exciting, and packed with flavours we’d never tried before. It’s all vegetarian (with loads of vegan options too), but trust me, you won’t miss the meat. Dishes like the Palak Koftas and Mung Bean Chatpata were total standouts. One of the best parts is that everything is designed to share, so we were able to try loads of different dishes between the three of us. The whole experience felt and different, not your standard curry night out. And if you're into beer, you're in luck — Bundobust also doubles as a great little beer spot. There’s a solid range, from crisp lagers to punchy IPAs, and even a proper bitter. My partner loved their twist on a radler — a shandy made with spiced Indian lemonade. Oh, and did I mention the value? Three of us absolutely stuffed ourselves (with drinks!) for £20 a head. Can’t argue with that. Bottom line: if you’re in Leeds and haven’t been to Bundobust yet, don’t wait like we did — just go.

This is a find for me First time visitor to Leeds and was recommended this is nice and cheap So walked in and basically jt js branded as street food but I don’t think I have been to any part of india where some of there are sold as steeet food You pick a table and walk in and order and some food is cheap and place is full of students so I felt out The food tasted ok and I like the atmosphere Maybe as a place to try and whilst this is a vegetarian place it is ok I may not go again there

Absolute garbage food. But then again I am not a vegan. If you are and this is what you eat, bless you. We went as a group so wasn't bothered about the food, I was there for the chats, we did order but it was horrible food. Very pricey too, you'd think that the price would be for the value

Mediterranean restaurant
If you're looking to spice up your culinary adventures in Bradford, Classic Persian Restaurant is a must-visit destination. Nestled just outside the city center, this charming eatery captures the essence of Iranian hospitality and culture. The menu is a delightful journey through Persian flavors, featuring an array of dishes that highlight fresh herbs, succulent meats, and vibrant fruits like plums and pomegranates.
Went here on a Sunday night with a reservation and it wasn't very busy. We were seated upstairs and the service was a lot slower here compared to when we are seated downstairs - it took us a while to be able to flag someone down to get water to the table (midway through the meal). Our starters and mains arrived very quickly and the food was good. Starters were good although the meatballs were a little bland. The lamb kubideh was juicy and delicious and the chicken was very good as well. Overall it was a nice meal for a good price.

The Classic Persian was recommended to us by friends, booked a table for 4 people online which was simple enough to sort (confirmation via email and the Dojo app) for 6.30pm Saturday night, table ready a few minutes after arriving which gave us time to watch food cooking on the grill (it looked and smelt good) It's a "bring your own" for alcohol also so we were ready! Ordered starters and mains each plus the girls managed to fit in a shared pud (of course they did!!) Food was excellent 2 meat dishes & 2 fish dishes choice of rice or chips Lacked a little for vegetarians on the mains menu but other than that we loved it We'll be back

Had a lovely tasty mixed grill here today, and the staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Harry and Hattie. There was a problem with the till and they both handled flustered customers with much grace and remained really calm and professional under pressure. Such a wonderful trait to see in the younger generation. You'll both go far! X

Came here for the carvery on Sunday and I was disappointed the mash used was instant mash and the swede and carrots mashed were like sloppy baby food. Not the best and my partner had what was supposed to be katsu curry with chips she received scabby chips with Chinese curry sauce and a bit of breaded chicken with spring onions and chilli as garnish. I won't be returning as the food was poor.

Went for Mother's Day all you can eat breakfast with most my family. A great time had, food very good but could taste better as a little bland in parts. Sadly though, don't like the idea of staff taking plates whilst still eating. Nor telling us to go before 11.15am, when we booked at 9.30am didn't get all our food sorted until after 10am and spent good money there. We ended up leaving at 11.30am, so a bit disappointed with what they said. Otherwise, it's a great place, accessible for disabled and has a disabled loo too. And there's a sloping road down to play area, where kids can play whilst watching boats or ducks on canal adjacent to restaurant.

Stayed at premier inn and went to the Brewers Fayre next door for breakfast. £10.99 for unlimited cooked breakfast which also gave the option to also have the unlimited continental breakfast which is £8.99. There were lots of choices, pastries, jams and spreads, cereal and fruit. Cooked breakfast was ordered and had everything on offer that you wpuld expect on a full english. There was fruit juices and tea and coffee tp help yourself to. Absolute bargain for the price if you have a good appetite and not watching your weight 😋

Left most of the food. We will not be returning. The furniture is all ripped on the bench seating areas. very run down, for the price of the food the place should be welcoming and comfortable.

Rustico is a classic Italian restaurant located in central Wakefield, offering a bright and comfortable atmosphere for diners. The family-run venue prides itself on serving authentic Italian cuisine, including traditional pizzas and pastas made with fresh ingredients and cooked using time-honored methods. In addition to classic dishes, the menu also features a variety of vegetarian options. Guests can expect reasonably priced meals that go beyond the typical Italian fare, such as fresh seafood and steaks.
We ordered the lobster pasta from the daily special menu. The lobster was incredibly fresh, and the portion size was generous, especially for the price. We also tried the Mariana risotto, which was a must-order. It was rich, creamy, and not too heavy. Overall, the prices were reasonable, and the quality of the food made it well worth it. It is also our third time dining here already!

Feb 2025 update. Still excellent value for money and great tasting. First time dining here today. We didn't book a table and came here around 2.30pm on a Sunday. Menu is very value for money and I got a little confused with the bill if i'm honest. We got seated straight away, and from here to getting served the service was slow. We could see they were busy and waited patiently. When we caught the attention of the staff twice... They said they'll get someone to take our order. We ordered one set lunch... I did ask for it with the pizza and prawn cocktail combo, a carbonara from the lunch menu, mussels and the over from the specials... The reason being this combo worked out the cheapest... Never the less the end bill was very cheap! Carbonara... Very good! Salami pizza very good, they use a high quality salami which you can definitely taste the difference. Prawn cocktail, again very good. Mussels, cooked nicely. Liver, I'm not sure what I expected... I expected pan fried liver served with veg...I got exactly that... But I had a sauce that came on top which I didnt expect... My fault for not asking in detail... But this is why it's a 4* and not a 5* review. Whilst we had our meal we were checked on a few times. Overall a excellent value for money restaurant. I would come back and I do recommend

This restaurant was recommended to me. It appears popular with many locals. (I was a tourist.) The menu is good with an additional specials menu. The food was very good and portion sizes were also good. For me, the wine list needs attention. Very limited Italian options at a moderate price did not match the quality of the food. I went here on a Wednesday evening. Whilst quiet, the restaurant was busier than others in the vicinity. I had: Complimentary bread with a red pepper relish 4☆ Mozzarella in Carrozza 5☆ Vitello Verbena 5☆ Chilean Merlot 2☆ Complimentary Limoncello was served warm. (I believe it is best freezer cold.)

Great high quality food. Very tasty curries and lovely soft Naans. The prices are actually reasonable because of both the quality and the quality. One main can easily serve two people. A lot of free parking in their own private carpark. It's also possible to buy jars of their curry sauces, so you can cook at home. Very original. Clean and good facilities for children and adults. Would happily return.

Great ambience & yummy fresh food. Mr Mumtaz ensured that all the guest were taken care. He did check on all guests/tables personally visiting them and getting feedback. Very rare these days, were most of the restaurants are business oriented and lack hospitality. Food was delicious, freshly prepared. Restaurant itself is cozy and has ample parking behind. Better to reserve before visit. Highly recommended

Mumtaz isn't just about incredible curries; their breakfast is a hidden gem! I recently tried their breakfast menu, and it was a delightful surprise. The first bite of French toast was a revelation. The soft, pillowy bread. The raspberries burst with a tangy sweetness that cut through the richness, and the sauce added a layer of pure indulgence. It was a symphony of textures and flavors, a perfect little moment of pure bliss that made me wonder why I hadn't tried it sooner. What stood out was the quality of ingredients. Everything tasted fresh, and perfectly balanced, giving a comforting warmth to the meal. The service was also top-notch – attentive and quick, making the morning experience even better. If you're looking for a hearty and flavorful start to your day, Mumtaz is definitely worth a visit. It's a great spot whether you're craving something familiar or want to explore Pakistani/English breakfast dishes.

My first visit to Mumtaz bradford. The decor is great, the service is great. Unfortunately the food wasn't up to my expectations. We ordered the mixed grill platter which was ok. The lamb baryani was not so good. The lamb karahi was deceient. I feel Mumtaz didn't live up to the hype that surrounds it. I have had better food in places which look ordinary. Sometimes it's not about the decorations, it's all about the food.

Located on Church Row, Lamb And Flag is a charming pub housed in a renovated 19th-century building. The establishment offers a locally-sourced menu and an array of ales, including Leeds Brewery's finest beers. The interior features exposed brick walls and large open windows that create a cozy atmosphere. Additionally, the pub boasts an impressive courtyard beer garden with great views of Leeds Minster from the first-floor balcony.
We had dinner here after the joust at the Leeds Royal Armories. It was nice to dry off and warm up in a pleasing atmosphere. I got the steak and ale pie with roasted veg and chips which was really wonderful. It's become my go-to dinner at least once whenever I visit the UK as it is not common in the States. Very good, would highly recommend.

What a great place to build bolds and create memories. Firstly for a few drinks, but not secondly, for a bite after the night before. The chef is a ‘kiss’, spoiling us with his delights and this is not a place to skip if you ever come to Leeds. With a magnificent view of the church and the breeze blowing through the trees, enjoy the great atmosphere Lamb & Flag had to offer. I had my first ever scotched egg and it was delicious, the rest of the party had a burger and chips… recommended!

I had lived in Leeds for 4 years about 15 years ago. I still come back and visit my friends there. Previously, I had only been here at night to have a few pints with my mates, but having come back to visit Leeds after a number of years, I decided to have a Sunday roast before heading back to Manchester Airport. I made a reservation (good idea, as the place really fills up) after seeing they did a roast on Google. I cannot imagine a better Sunday roast. This was an absolute stunner! I'm bringing my Leeds-born son back next year, and we're already planning on visiting Lamb And Flag for a Sunday roast. Do yourself a favour and get yourself over to Lamb and Flag. It also doesn't hurt that it's next door to the rather picturesque Leeds Minster. I can also say that the prices aren't bad at all. Considering I had earlier spent 8 quid on two ice creams from an ice cream van, 32 pounds for a pint, a full Sunday roast, and dessert seemed like quite the deal.
Houstoncreed — Google review
Visited Lamb and Flag for a Sunday roast today and overall had a pleasant experience, though it was a bit of a mixed bag. To start, I had the burrata with confit tomatoes, basil oil and rosemary and sea salt focaccia croutons. The burrata itself was quite plain and I couldn’t really taste the basil or anything else on it, but the croutons were delicious and added a nice texture. The chorizo and paprika croquettes were very good. Really moorish and everything on the plate worked well together. The butternut purée and chive oil paired beautifully with the croquettes. I would happily order these again. For the main, I chose the roasted pork loin with crispy crackling. The pork was a little on the tough side but still had a nice flavour. The vegetables were fairly standard, though the spiced red cabbage was lovely and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were unfortunately far too hard and overly crisp, to the point that they were difficult to cut with the knives provided. A serrated blade would have helped. The Yorkshire pudding followed the current Leeds trend of being massive, which sadly meant one side was very burnt while the rest was decent. The burnt side actually irritated my throat a bit. I do wish we could go back to the smaller, more evenly cooked Yorkshire puddings of the past. To finish, I had the sticky toffee pudding which was absolutely spot on. Soft and spongy with a rich toffee sauce and smooth vanilla ice cream. A perfect end to the meal and easily the highlight. Some parts of the meal were excellent, others could use a bit of improvement, but there is definitely promise here.

Went for an early dinner to the bar to order and was told there was table service. Waited almost 15 minutes then went to bar to order. It wasn't busy but repeatedly had to go to the bar where staff were huddled and chatting. Great food though, enjoyed the pies.

Nestled in the charming suburb of Meanwood, Zucco is a contemporary Italian restaurant and bar that has quickly become a local favorite. This inviting eatery, run by brothers Rosario and Michael Leggiero, boasts an aesthetic that combines black and white floor tiles with sleek subway wall tiles and a rustic tin ceiling.
We came to Zucco on their winter tasting night. We’ve been a few times and have always been impressed with the tasty food and the friendly staff. Tonight the highlights were the breaded artichoke, bean and whipped ricotta salad and the strawberry sorbet! Every course was really flavourful and there were a couple of treats thrown in! Can’t recommend this place enough

This was our first visit to this small italian restaurant in the centre of Meanwood. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient assisting with the nuances of the menu. The concept is one of sharing your dishes similar to Spanish tapes, so that's what we did. The food was unusual and delicious with good-sized portions. An all round great evening and I will certainly be going back.

Zucco isn't just the best restaurant in Leeds, it's arguably one of the best in the country. Great food, attentive (but not over-attentive) service and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Starting with the food, we had several plates shared across the table and each was mouth-wateringly delicious. A special mention for the arancini which are world-class! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the decor in the restaurant is beautiful. A real gem of a restaurant that deserves every accolade it has received. A big thank you to all the staff from all of us.

Planned to go to Hana Matsuri across the road but they were closed. Spotted Zucco because I happened to have parked in front of it. Having seen that the place was packed - following a quick google (to check the rating) decided to walk in, in my running attire. Was definitely the most casually dressed but was welcomed very warmly regardless. I’ve been trying a new restaurant in Leeds every Friday, it’s become a sort of tradition. Zucco exceeded my expectations (perhaps sometimes it really is best not to overthink where to eat and just walk in to a place on a whim). The things I loved about Zucco: 1. The food was really very good: especially the ‘Pan fried king scallops, prawns, squid and saffron risotto’, I could smell the saffron and the scallops were cooked perfectly - the entire dish was just plate licking worthy. I think it was the best risotto I have ever had. 2. I loved the attention to detail: such as the fact that they provide a steak knife instead of a regular butter knife as part of their normal table set up 🍴, the fact that they always ask you if you’re sharing a dish when taking your order so that they can provide you with adequate extra plates and the fact that they print out up to date menus every day to reflect seasonal/fresh produce they have on the day etc. 3. All the staff are so friendly and efficient: I even witnessed the bar tender changing roles briefly to welcome some diners and act as the host/waitress - he did it seamlessly and with a smile on his face. This was so lovely to witness because customer service has really suffered since Covid and has never really recovered in so many other eateries across the UK. Special mention to my waitress Julia - she was genuinely lovely and made me feel so welcome at Zucco that I will no doubt be back very soon to try the rest of the menu! 4. They do not add an “optional service charge” to your bill: which is so rare these days and just amazing to see because it makes you want to tip appropriately for the wonderful food and service received instead of feeling obligated to pay an arbitrary service charge that you might not feel adequately reflects your experience. 5. The loos were well designed and always clean: which is particularly impressive given how busy they were.

Authentic, tasty and friendly restaurant in the heart of meanwood. All the staff were incredibly hospitable, attentive and polite, and every meal we had tasted fresh, very very authentic and was of great portion size. Pricing was very fair given the high quality and good portion sizes. Lots of options of starters, mains ( including meat, fish, and vegetarian options) and desserts ! We loved the beef parpadelle, mussel pasta and Arancini ! We absolutely loved this place and will be recommending to all our friends and family ! Ideal for a date night or cosy pasta / Italian night with friends!

Nestled in the heart of Bradford City Centre, Mamma Mia is a beloved family-run Italian restaurant that has been delighting locals since 1984. This charming eatery offers a delightful array of seasonal specials, pizzas, and classic Italian dishes that have become staples for generations. The Massimo family’s warm hospitality creates an inviting atmosphere where diners can enjoy authentic flavors crafted with care.
We've come here everytime we visit Bradford. Most recently, we ordered 1 Aperitiv, 2 Starters (Pasta and Bruschetta) and 1 Pasta main. Everything was delicious, brilliant service, very nice ambience as well. Highly recommended.

Ace place. We arrived without a booking, 9 of us, and they made space for us right away. All the staff were really good, friendly and helpful. Food was great - lota of pizzas among the group plus some pasta dishes. Nice atmosphere - "bustling" i would say, a fun place to be. Would love to come back if we were in Bradford again. A great find.

We enjoy coming here alot, and the things that stood out for us were the staff they were so kind and generous, the music to listen to Italian music while eating is a comfort like any other and lastly the food, Is absolutely amazing, great variety and portion sizes can vary as well so it's perfect for adults and children. If you can go to mamamias you won't regret it!

We came in before going to see SIX at the Alhambra. We didn't have a reservation but we're acoomodated by them pushing 2 tables together. Everything we ordered was absolutely lovely. Italian Carbonara, Lasagne,Lobster ravioli and the tagliatelle. Would definitely be going again. We've already said as a family, for any future shows this will be the first place we try and book.

This is a great, family run restaurant! Five of us went on Saturday evening and had a fantastic time. There was a busy atmosphere, lots of laughter and amazing food. The pizza starters were tasty, and the main meals and deserts were all beautifully cooked and presented. We can recommend the Menabrae lager too! We were pleasantly surprised by the bill too. Coupled with excellent customer service, this is a must-go destination.

Modern British restaurant
Ox Club is an award-winning restaurant located in Leeds city center, known for its grill cooking and elevated comfort food. The menu features a mix of à la carte, prix fixe, and brunch options with bold and creative dishes such as English asparagus with smoked lamb bacon and cornish sardines with vine leaves.
Heard about the steak and fries offer for £16 so thought we’d check it out. Steak is done perfectly to my requested liking, generous portion of chips and their in house made butter complements the meal perfectly. We also got it with peppercorn sauce which was well made and perfectly seasoned. Service is good too. First time I came for this and would come again for this deal and possibly to try other things on the menu! Very naturalistic interior and chilled atmosphere too.

Best British food I’ve ever had! I love all the sauces, seasoning was on point! Their menu changes too. Didn’t have to prebook if you come 6pm, I guess it’s early dinner, plenty seats. Great service, waiter gave good recommendations and very friendly, enjoyed our time there very much. My favourite was the ox heart with oyster sauce, it was an interesting texture that almost didn’t taste like heart (I’ve had chicken heart before) and the oyster sauce was creamy with a hint of oyster, I really enjoy the natural flavour of the ingredients, they were paired and chosen well. The mutton kofta itself was a bit tough and salty and in my opinion would’ve been better medium rare. The cherry tomatoes came with it were the best I’ve had, juicy and good balance of sweet and sour. The medium rare steak with pepper sauce was great too, we ordered fries on the side. Again the pepper sauce was excellent, it had a spicy kick to it, I’d buy all of their sauces. Steak was done well too. The basque cheesecake was ok, standard good cake, not too sweet.

Came for a special occasion, was great to go to Headrow house for some drinks before hand. Waiters gave good recommendations for food and made it feel really special. The steak and chips deal was delicious, it was clear that despite being one of the cheapest dishes this did not have an impact on the quality. Would definitely recommend.

Elevated British cuisine ⭐ The portions are not massive but the food is absolutely delicious! Such a treat. Perfect service, attentive but not overbearing. Absolutely loved it!
Aniela A — Google review
Really cool vibe in the restaurant. The menu is pretty limited and for £90 I don’t think we received enough steak for our money. The bread is insanely good and everything was tasty. Service was average and they do make a good negroni but I don’t think this warranted a £20 service charge.
Emily E — Google review
Delicious hidden gem in centre of Leeds. The service is outstanding, food is perfect, love the bbq concept. Highly recommended.
Simeon R — Google review
Not sure where this 4.7 rating came from, must be paid ads or something. The food was seriously average. I was actually shocked at how badly they managed to do the most famous Spanish dish, the padrón peppers. The skin wasn’t even cooked through, seasoning was way too salty. Took one bite and sent it back. When the waiter asked what was wrong, we told her this just isn’t how it’s supposed to be done. She shrugged and said “well, that’s padrón peppers.” We were speechless. Look, I’m no chef, but I’ve had them in Spain and this was nothing alike. As for the steak, which I assume is meant to be their signature, it wasn’t anywhere near as tender or high quality as I expected. I’ve seen their Instagram photos and I’ll give credit, whoever took those pictures is seriously talented, because the real thing is miles off. The vibe inside is decent, I’ll admit, good for a date spot, but the food was honestly poor. If you think this is the best you’ve had, maybe you just haven’t had proper food before. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but that’s the truth. And when we left, not even a goodbye from the staff. Guess they just can’t handle criticism.😅 And let’s be real, if you’re charging that kind of money, the dishes need to live up to the price tag. They absolutely didn’t. Terrible experience, won’t be coming back. Oh, and to make it worse, this was me and my partner’s two-year anniversary dinner. Couldn’t have been more disappointing.

So good that we travel from our home in Leicester for Sunday roast here. Also went to the recent 10 course tasting menu, both meals were, as ever, outstanding. The service also matches the quality of the food. Cannot speak highly enough of either. Thanks to all at the Ox Club for treating us so well.

Came across this place by accident whilst having a drink elsewhere. The menu looked interesting so we went inside. Greeted by a friendly man. Saw Indian people eating there so took that as a good sign. Had a variety of dishes that are very different from a typical Indian restaurant. We really enjoyed our food and my spicy cocktail was delicious. The only negative was that there were chickpeas in a dish and they weren't included in the ingredients on the menu otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. However I managed to pick them out and give them to my husband. Great environment and friendly and attentive staff. I would recommend.

This was my very first time trying authentic Indian food, and wow, it was truly Indian, especially with that signature spiciness. From the starters to the mains and even the desserts, everything tasted so rich and genuinely Indian. I absolutely loved it! A big highlight was the warm and attentive service from my friend Ayesha/Esha, which made the whole experience even better and makes me want to come back for more. Hey Ayesha/Esha, keep smiling. Indian food might be spicy, but it was incredibly delicious. I would definitely be back next time. Honestly, it was so good I feel like bringing my whole extended family here! 😄 Highly recommended if you’re looking for real Indian food in Leeds!

My experience at the Indian Tiffin Room was truly delightful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring a warm atmosphere from the moment we entered. The decor is vibrant and beautifully designed, transporting you to a lively Indian setting. The food was delicious, though some dishes were slightly spicier than expected. However, this added to the authentic Indian flavors that each meal presented. The variety of dishes offered something for everyone, and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, the Indian Tiffin Room is a great choice for those seeking authentic Indian street food in a lively and inviting environment. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

We had dinner here on a recent visit to Leeds. The decor, atmosphere and staff are absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed the evening. The street food (Chaats) aren’t the best that I have had but on par with others. For any red wine enthusiasts, do try the Cabernet Shiraz from India. It was excellent.

We visited the Indian Tiffin Room on a recommendation from a friend and we weren't disappointed. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. Sunish was very informative about the dishes that would suit our preferences and plesent. Would highly recommend for people wanting an authentic Indian meal. Will definitely return on our next visit to Leeds.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I genuinely can’t say enough good things about Indian Tiffin Room in Leeds – this place is a must visit! The staff were incredible, especially Sunish, who was absolutely lovely and made the whole experience even better. Now, the food… wow. Why have I never been here before?! The okra fries are a new favourite of mine – so moreish – and the chaat bombs are exactly what the name promises: explosive flavour in every bite. The mains were outstanding too. The lamb dish in particular is an absolute must-order – tender, rich, and perfectly spiced. Even the non-alcoholic cocktails were a highlight. Fresh, vibrant, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. If you’re in Leeds and love bold, exciting Indian street food with top-notch service, you need to book a table here. I’ll definitely be back!

Nestled in the New Line Retail Park of Apperley Bridge, Bradford, "Bhajis & Beer" is a delightful family-run restaurant that serves up authentic Indian cuisine. This hidden gem is renowned for its mouthwatering curries and customizable spice levels, allowing diners to tailor their meals to their taste preferences. Guests rave about the butter chicken tikka and the impressive poppadom tray, which are said to be among the best they've encountered—even by those who have traveled extensively through India.
Authentic and relaxed atmosphere with tables full of laughter. The waitress couldn't be anymore helpful and quite clearly enjoyed being there, working there and making others happy. Food wise, what can I say, portions are an incredible size for the price especially the naans. All dishes can be catered to your personal spice level and they hit the nail on the head for a group of 10 friends & I. Fantastic night with starters, poppadoms, naans mains and sides with a drink all round averaging about £25 per person which is phenomenal. The one side note I would say is around 6 of us had a diet coke and they were all equally flat but, it was a minor issue in the scope of things so was not mentioned as everything was just exceptional

This small family run restaurant was a delight. Only small point letting down 5 star food rate, pickle tray. For me missing, imagination and fire found in many pickle tray. After that all was great. Starter packed with spices. Main garlic butter Karhai with fish, swimming in flavour, heat and spice, a delight. Will return.

An excellent place to enjoy authentic curry and a large choice of beers, lagers and ciders. They also have alcohol free options for the designated drivers. These guys will also explain in depth anything you need to know off the menu and if you are still struggling, can produce an off menu dish for you. Been here a few times now and food is always hot, fresh and tasty. Pickle tray is more like a pickle afternoon tea with two levels of sauces and accompaniments for your poppadoms. The mixed sizzling starter for two is a great way to get a taste of everything this place has to offer for starters and I always go back to the garlic butter karahi for mains, plenty of sauce and meat of your choice great with either rice or breads. Might try the Achari next time on recommendation. Thank you Daud from Emma and family!

The waitresses are really helpful. The menu is very open-ended. You can pretty much order what you like. The food was served piping hot, cooked to order, and was very tasty. Really excellent decor. Distinctly Asian but with a modern twist. Trendy lighting with some beautiful Indian artwork on the walls. All was clean and tidy. The view is pretty good from the first floor location. There is a lift off you cannot manage the stairs. It's our local Indian restaurant and what a great one to have up the road from us.

On arrival made to feel welcome a clean space and the atmosphere was nice . They were attentive Food was good one of the best panipuris I had in Leeds ! The curries were also lovely and could taste the different spices ! Not the typical rice and curry so finally nice to get some different flavours . We shared our food and thought the portion sizes were reasonable - we were very full by the end of the meal so didn’t have space for deserts. I liked the beetroot and pomegranate rhytha as well - something new :) I will definitely revisit Thank you to the lovely staff for making us feel welcome.

We returned for another visit whilst in Leeds for the cricket. Just close to Headingley stadium. Delicious flavoursome starters were a change from poppadoms. We had ‘Aamchi Mumbai’ Sev Puri and Calcutta Aloo Tilla Chaat. Rich spices in both with a kick of chilli. Went really well with our Kirkstall Virtuous beers. Other IPAs and beers on pump too. Mains were Prawn Cardin and De Baga House chicken curry with pulao rice. Prompt and efficient service . Lovely to have appropriate quantities of superb tasty food rather than piles of forgettable ‘could be anywhere’ food. Lovely vibrant atmosphere. Well done!

Water Lane Boathouse is a bi-level pub located by the canal, offering stunning waterside views and a relaxed environment. The menu features wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, and sharing platters, along with a variety of refreshing beverages. With deals like free chips and soft drink with any sandwich on weekdays, discounted pizzas on Sundays, and special cocktail offers every day, it's a must-visit spot in Leeds.
Enjoyed an excellent lunch at Water Lane Boathouse! Arrived around 12:30pm on a very cold Sunday in January to find plenty of free tables, although there were quite a few reserved and it did fill up quite a bit later on so it might be advisable to book for larger parties. On Sundays there is a 50% off pizza deal and Amstell is only £3.50 per pint, so 2 pizzas and 2 pints only came to £18.95. Amazing value! The pizzas were both absolutely delicious. It was a difficult choice as there were lots of good options, but in the end, we opted for the spicy chicken and the meatball with caramelised onions. We were impressed that they arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. We were lucky to secure a window seat and had a lovely view of the dock (the water was iced over!) whilst we enjoyed our lunch.

Big pub/bar set in nice location on the canal. Loads of seating inside and outside. Open kitchen on the upper level serving fresh cooked pizza, sandwiches, burgers etc . Its a shame this place does NOT accept cash. But still worth a visit.

We went to Water Lane Boathouse for a friend’s birthday meal and drinks. There was indoor and outdoor seating; we sat inside. The atmosphere was vibey, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of drinks, and the 50% off pizzas on Sundays between 5-8pm was a great. The long, bench-style tables were perfect for talking and socialising (however, not ideal for buggies). The pizzas were delicious! Ours were great, although one of our friends received a pizza with a crust that was quite heavily charred.

Great dog friendly spot, just a little bit tricky visiting solo with my mutt as by the time we'd gone inside to order, someone had swiped our outside table. Luckily they were up for sharing with a dog as I'd ordered some food to that table number! Staff brought my dog a water bowl and a treat too so he gives it 5 stars! Think it might have been easier if the outside bar had been open while we were there but we'd definitely go back as it has a nice atmosphere.

Seen this place a thousand times on my walk to work and finally managed to visit on a Sunday evening to find that pizzas were half price. Stuzzi is a fantastic value for money small plates Italian right in the middle of Leeds. You can tell that a lot of effort has been put into the menu and quality ingredients are used. The larger pasta dishes are the stars of the show, perfectly cooked pasta that you just want more of. The cocktails are also great, some fantastic combinations you wouldn't think of! The price is also really reasonable for a small plates concept. Would definitely recommend.

If you wear Carhartt jackets and Solomon’s, this is one for you (or let’s be real, your instagram story). Booked this for an anniversary meal, having been recommended by a friend. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly, but the food didn’t live up to the expectations. I ordered 3 small plates and two mains, none of which had flavour - the mains were also incredibly salty. I’ve found Leeds is home to much tastier and better priced Italian restaurants.

Easily my favourite restaurant in Leeds. Whenever I have friends visiting Leeds for the first time I always take them to Stuzzi, simply the best. I go there with the highest expectations every time and they still somehow manage to impress me. Thank you team for all the amazing food I’ve had with you over the years! They always have great wine selection and recommendations, always great service and such a nice and relaxed atmosphere.
S — Google review
Fantastic service levels and an interesting and varied menu with dishes ranging in size from "amusingly tiny plate" to "that's a decent portion", some care is needed when sharing, note the "each" on some menu items, especially for the bite-sized crostini. Ingredients are clearly top level and they're combined to create some really great dishes. The cavolfiore (unexpected olive stone aside) and artichoke insulata were stand-out and the sampler pudding assortment was a real treat, at a substantial price. The sardine "fritti" was possibly the most fishy thing I've ever encountered in my life, I expected "fishy" as it's sardines but this was turned up to 11 and then some, I couldn't eat it and could taste the bite I did manage the next day. At £112 for 2, including the 12.35% service charge (worth every penny, they're top notch) and the £1.23 for a "gift tree", it felt a bit expensive for what it was but I'm so pleased to have finally experienced Stuzzi. I'd recommend it to anyone to try at least once.

Chicken was tasty but the price for a kids meal and what we got was poor. We paid 4.75 for each child's chicken strip meal and got 2 strips, some chips and small bit of beans/peas. The peas were tasteless and hard. The chicken was fresh and tasted good which is the reason I gave 2 stars. They told me 10min but I waited 20mins and there was only 2 or 3 customers. Overall I'd go again but I'll be sure to check what I'm getting for my money. I would have been happy to pay a little more vs complaining children. Mine are both under 10 years old

Really big menu, great tasting food and amazing prices. I thought it was going to be just a basic cafe but I ordered a salad and it was one of the nicest salads I have had. Family friendly. I will definitely go again!

A first-time visit to Create Café, and was very impressed. It's a bright, airy, colourful space. The menu is extensive, and good value for for money. The food is all freshly cooked to order, and tasty. The overall ethos is "Where good food and people matter". The café aims to help disadvantaged people by giving them working experience. Kudos to the co-founders/co-owners Shaun and James for this admirable venture which deserves every success.

A great cafe serving delicious food and drinks at low prices. Great value for money. Fast and friendly service. The menu has a large selection including a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The ingredients are locally sourced and all food is home-made.

I arrived for my pre ordered breakfast and paid for it but it came out in a takeaway box which I was a little surprised by as I wanted to sit in and eat. So the breakfast was brought out plated and I was charged £7.20 which was not the price on the website menu, it was priced at £5.50. I was refunded the difference and followed my breakfast to table 29. The food was well presented but the sausages were tough and difficult to cut through and looked like they'd just been warmed up, the toast was tough too, it seemed stale and like it was reheated, I did not get the top notch breakfast described in other reviews, nowhere near

Really nice cafe. I have been here twice and have always been happy with the food and the service. We really enjoyed the butternut squash with feta and pomegranate seeds and the onion rings were delicious if a tad greasy. The soya latte I had was very good with a shot of hazelnut syrup. A very small complaint would be the price which was a smidgen on the expensive side for Wakefield though I couldn't argue with the quality.
Samantha S — Google review
Very impressed. Called in for a bit of hangover food recently. Breakfast was gorgeous and well presented. I don't generally care what my breakfast looks like but serving it in a little frying pan is a bit cool. The cappuccino was very nice too. The decor is very Ikea-esque and it's just a nice place to be in general. Prices are on par with Wetherspoons, maybe 50p more expensive for the breakfast but this is a nicer place to sit and eat than any of the Wetherpoon pubs in this region.

SakkuSamba, located in the bustling Broadway Shopping Centre of Bradford, is a remarkable culinary gem that beautifully marries Japanese sushi with Brazilian grill traditions. This innovative restaurant has quickly become a highlight of the local dining scene since its opening earlier this year. Known for its lively bottomless brunches and exceptional VIP dining experiences, SakkuSamba also caters to large events with personalized services that reflect both cultures' vibrant flavors.
Amazing experience and really great food, we did the option where you can order 4 dishes each every 12 minutes for two hours which is a great way to try lots of different dishes. You get to order your food on a tablet on your table which is really good. The service was great. It was fairly quiet while we were there but it was early as we went before a theatre trip and the England game was also on at the time. It's such a lovely different place for bradford so I hope it keeps going.

Visited this restaurant recently. This was my second visit. I wasn't enthralled the first time, they had a special offer on so thought I'd give it another try. The menu was OK and had changed slightly since my first visit. Considering it's a buffet I feel the menu is quite sparse, not enough variety esp when compared to a popular similar restaurant in Leeds, their menu has so much more, you can't get through it. The food was cooked nicely and presented well. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Would I visit again? Yes, but not in a hurry.

Incredible food and incredible service!! Staff were really welcoming and courteous, attending to all requests. The atmosphere was also beautiful, lovely decor and lighting, and the seating was super comfortable also! The steaks were cooked to perfection and every dish ordered left a lasting impression. Sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and offered some unique takes on traditional sushi which was a welcome change. Also great range of vegetarian and vegan food 😋 Definitely recommend trying the cocktails too! I ordered a flaming zombie and a bubblegum daiquiri and both were incredible 🙌 Will be coming back for sure!
Abigail L — Google review
The food and service was great. There is a good range of food on offer - just enough to keep the palate interested while not so much that quality deteriorates. The all-you-can-eat service is easy to use and well-explained by staff. Ash provided excellent service, with a smile, and answered all questions and attended to requests. I went mid-week and it was nice and quiet, with booths providing sufficient privacy and reasonable buffer from other conversations. I imagine it may get louder and busier at the weekend. The interior is well-decorated and photo friendly. The atmosphere and vibe suits the decor. The comfort extends to the rest rooms, which are clean, where the mirrors have adjustable lighting (warm or cool) and there is hand lotion available, by the hand wash. Parking is convenient using the Broadway parking or on street parking, if you don't mind a little walk. A short walk back to the car might not be such a bad idea after getting full on amazing food.
Hajera M — Google review
The food was acceptable but warm dishes were a cold. The herbs such as parsley and spring onion wasn't a fresh. The food is very expensive. For two person we paid more than 150 pounds. The atmosphere is beatiful. In the bathroom is mirror with three types of the light, perfect for selfie. Also fan and strength iron there for correction and drying hair.
Jevgenija M — Google review
First time at Sakkusamba and wasn't disappointed. Food was amazing, never tried sushi before but loved it. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the firecracker chicken was the best thing I had from the menu. Will definitely be taking my daughter there.

Beautiful setting, service, food and cocktails! Amazing to have Sakkusamba in Bradford! Beautiful setting, amazing service & the food & cocktails were out of this world. We went for our anniversary lunch and had the tapas menu. Each person could order 4 dishes every 12 minutes on the tablet for 2 hours for under £35 per person! We will definitely be visiting again. The varied food choice is amazing, the cocktails are top notch and you forget you are actually in Bradford town centre!
Becci D — Google review
The best dining experience I've had in Bradford. The food was amazing as were the mocktails. Service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor just blew me away. I can't wait to go again. The service charge is optional and down to the customers discretion. It states this on the website. It also shows the charge on your receipt before you pay. My argument is why would you not pay the service charge? Everything about this place is awesome. I couldn't fault it.

Estabulo Rodizio Bar & Grill in Leeds, located at The Light, offers a tantalizing Brazilian BBQ experience. At lunch, diners can indulge in 10 cuts of meat while the evening service boasts 17 options. Both services include access to a superb salad bar and unlimited sides. The restaurant honors the traditional Gaucho method of cooking by skewering and grilling flavorful meats over open flames.
Absolutely love this place, have always loved it, always been a place to go for special occasions and events, however the latest time I went was just a dinner with the boys, As silly as it sounds it’s a place that makes you feel like you’re doing well in life being able to eat their. Although the price is quite hefty (£180 for 3 of us) it’s 100% worth every penny, the service was top notch and premium, we frequently had waiters coming over checking we were satisfied and asking if we needed anything, even upon arrival we were talked through the process e.g, whenever we were ready we were to grab a plate and help ourselves to the starters / appetisers. Then when we wanted some of the meats we would flip our cards over to green and then someone would come round every couple of minutes and serve the food. Was there a solid hour if not more just stuffing our faces with real food and left extremely satisfied.
Will H — Google review
A brilliant place, all 15 cuts of meat were very delicious, succulent and well seasoned, the chicken cuts were unforgettable since it was the most tender piece of chicken I’ve ever had in my life. The salad bar is also good and the interior is nicely decorated. They also accommodate well to parties too and even sing happy birthday and give cake and candles to celebrate. The service was welcoming and accommodating, especially from lovely Vicky.
Tanya F — Google review
Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. Estabulo is more than just a meal; it's an event. The concept is brilliant: you help yourself to an incredible fresh salad and hot buffet (the roasted pineapple is a must-try!), and then the real show begins. The passadors (gaucho chefs) continuously come to your table with a stunning variety of succulent, fire-grilled meats. From perfectly seasoned picanha and flavourful lamb leg to juicy chicken and surprisingly delicious black pudding, every single cut was cooked to perfection. The rump steak was a particular highlight – melt-in-the-mouth good. The staff were incredibly attentive, the atmosphere was vibrant but not overwhelming, and the value for money is outstanding. We left utterly stuffed and already planning our next visit. An essential Leeds dining experience!

I got the salmon option as I do not eat meat. The serving was huge and I had a fillet of salmon to take home. The salad bar is really nice and fresh. The service was wonderful and the garlic bread is phenomenal! Even though I am not a meat eater, I will be back!

Fantastic experience at Estabulo, Leeds. The meats—especially the steaks—were absolutely divine, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The salad bar was fresh, varied, and high quality, making a perfect complement to the main courses. Service was attentive and friendly throughout, which really added to the overall atmosphere. The draught beer was exceptional and paired perfectly with the meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.

Lovely service and food, Vicky was an excellent server! A wide range of meats and an excellent selection on the salad bar. I always have a great experience when I come here :))

I celebrated my birthday here — and it was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was cozy and festive, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. What touched me most was that they didn’t overlook my special day — they congratulated me, which made the evening even warmer. A special thank you for the meat — it was amazing! Juicy, flavorful, cooked to perfection, it literally melted in my mouth. Every dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Thank you to the restaurant for an unforgettable evening! I left with a huge smile and the warm feeling that my birthday was a 100% success. I will definitely be back!

Nestled in the heart of Halifax, The Victorian Craft Beer Café is a haven for beer enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike. Since its opening in 2014, this vibrant spot has played a pivotal role in elevating the local cultural scene. With an inviting atmosphere characterized by dark wood accents and various cozy nooks—including an upstairs minstrels gallery—visitors can enjoy a diverse selection of craft beers, cask ales, and ciders from around the globe.
The cosiest pub ever! We came for the first time on mad Friday with the intention of having one and moving on and stayed all night. It has the loveliest atmosphere, the drinks selection is great and the staff were all super friendly! One of my new favourite places to visit for drinks.
Charlotte S — Google review
Lovely pub with lots of seating areas including cozy nooks and bright tables by the windows. Lots of beer options on tap, it was hard to choose! The bitter and stout were delicious. During the weekend there were parking spots outside the pub on the street.
Charlotte H — Google review
Can't rate the food as they only do pork pies, no use to a vegetearian! Other than that I can't rate this place highly enough, the staff are always knowledgeable and helpful and there's always a great range of beers. Especially good for me when the Back in Black dark beer festival arrives in December.
Howard Y — Google review
Fabulous beer and great atmosphere. Really good selection too. Food is bar snacks but really good pork pies.

Craft beer bar with lots of cosy little nooks & crannies. Plenty of choice of beer , good music & pork pies . Nice place to spend an hour on a wet Saturday afternoon.

We called into Halifax on our way home from a coach trip to Scarborough. Only had an hour and a half and didn't want to look round so decided to go for a drink. Fortunately we found a superb pub with an excellent range of cask and keg beers. The guys behind the bar were really friendly and the beers we chose were excellent. Before we left we had a look round and were amazed by the wonderful charm of the decor and labyrinth of small rooms in extensions on different floors, I've never seen anything like it before. We are already planning on another trip to Halifax and when we are ready for refreshments this is the place we will be heading for. An absolute must place to visit in Halifax.

Fantastic beer range that is also equalled by the bar itself. A labyrinth of rooms and nooks. A must visit when in Halifax....
Keith C — Google review
This for me is one of, if not the best pub I've ever been in, this place had it all. The cask beer was simply sublime and the glass when finished was etched with beautiful lacing. The beer choice of cask and keg was very large, something for everyone and the building itself was amazing. 🥇Gold medal winner.

Fantastic pub in Yorkshire. Great atmosphere. Irish folk music playing with I was there. Good selection of cask beer. Worth the walk from the main center of town

Great selection of real ales at a good price , It’s a community pub owned by about 300 people according to the very friendly girl behind the bar We sat out the back in the tiered beer garden in the sun ( wish were able to stay tonight for the live music )
RobertsRoamers — Google review
Dropped by during one of our hikes. Great range of drinks (including non alcoholic) at great prices. Friendly staff. Dogs are welcome and the pub has a terrace area. We sat inside though, and liked the chilled atmosphere. Definitely not a rowdy pub - you can have a proper conversation here. Didn't order food so can't comment on that aspect yet.

The Miners Bar & Kitchen is a great place to go for a drink and some food. The atmosphere is good and the service is friendly. However, the burgers are dry and the portion of pulled pork is minimal. But the fish fingers are delicious!
Compliments to the chef! Great Sunday roast. Meat perfectly cooked. Lovely fresh veg - amazing gravy - roast and mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pud, stuffing and cauliflower cheese all delicious. Friendly service and really good value for money 😁
Paul C — Google review
The biggest letdown with this pub..and always has been is the staff or should I lack of staff. Saturday night... Great band on...1 maybe 2 serving. Sometimes it's packed..the staff have no idea who's next to serve. 1 night, we stood 20 minutes waiting... Needless to say, we left. Get your staffing levels right, and maybe your takings would be higher.

Food was good, service was cheery, can't complain about the prices. My only gripe is that the toilets could do with a good scrub!

I invited my elderly parents for Sunday dinner yesterday the 20th of November and it was absolutely delicious, it was served quickly and professionally by cheerful happy staff. Our plates went back to the kitchen clean, compliments to the chef and friendly staff. It is pet friendly and in the summer they have a nice sundeck to the back of the pub with a kiddies play area. Thank you for an awesome Sunday. We will be back!!!!

Called in a couple of times for a quick pint after going out for an evening meal so can't say anything about food. Nice clean well kept pub Cask ale was good but it was very quiet , on two occasions I've been recently I've asked about live music and when next bands on only to be told they had no idea when band is on or who is playing ???? I love live music and have been to this venue in the past with friends. If staff don't know if bands on or who's playing it's an opportunity missed for the owners .
