Health food restaurant
New American restaurant
Organic restaurant
Great Full Gardens, located in Midtown Reno, offers a focus on fresh and organic vegetables, providing a variety of vegetarian dishes from around the world, including delicious Indian options. The restaurant's emphasis on healthy and tasty plant-based food makes it an ideal choice for those looking for a satisfying meal. In addition to their diverse menu, Great Full Gardens also features 'Gino the Soup Man' soups, with offerings like the rotating soup of the day and Totally Tomato soup.
"Walked into a packed house, but was pleasantly surprised to get a table and order quickly. Allen handled my **Seared Ahi** order flawlessly and made sure everything was perfect. The staff truly shines, being **super friendly and very helpful** even when overwhelmed. A great experience overall!"

I am visiting this state and was referred to this restaurant as I was looking for a healthier place for lunch. The Teriyaki Bowl I ordered looked great and tasted acceptable. I did not mind as I did not know what to expect. The only negative aspect is that when ordering a bowl, they do not make it clear that the cost of the meat is an additional $8-$10. However, the service was exceptional, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is also very cool, with a unique setup and decoration. I might consider returning to try a different dish if I am ever back in the area.

Tucked into the bustling Sparks Outlets, Great Full Gardens lives up to its name with a cheerful atmosphere, warm service, and food that hits all the right notes. Our group of four stopped in on a slow afternoon and were greeted with a space that was not only welcoming but refreshingly bright and spacious—ideal for a relaxed lunch. The calmness of the day gave us a chance to really enjoy the vibe, chat without raising our voices, and take in the thoughtful design of the space. The service was genuinely spot on. Friendly without being overbearing, attentive without hovering—the kind of balanced hospitality that makes you feel looked after without being fussed over. And the food? Absolutely delectable. From the first bite to the last sip, everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. There’s a clear emphasis on quality ingredients and a menu designed to please a variety of palates. Impressed by our first visit, we returned on a different day just for coffee—and the contrast was striking. The space was now buzzing, completely filled with patrons, a true testament to the restaurant's popularity. Still, despite the crowd, the service didn’t skip a beat. Our coffees were just as enjoyable as our meals had been, crafted with care and perfect for a mid-day pause. Great Full Gardens has a way of making you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time through the door. It’s the kind of place you walk away from feeling better than when you arrived—not just full, but genuinely grateful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fresh, vibrant spot with top-notch service and consistently delicious offerings.

Stopped here for a snack and drink to cool off after a morning of shopping. The staff were kind and friendly, and the food was delicious! I had a strawberry lemonade and one liege waffle, while my companion had a cucumber lemonade and a vegan desert cup (cappuccino flavored). Everything was so good! It was noisy inside so we chose to sit outside on the patio under an umbrella. It was hot but much quieter. Very happy with my experience!

Ordered the reuben. For $18, I was expecting more. Tasted average. Sauerkraut was good. Came with a pickle. And cold quinoa. Again, average. Also ordered the vetata. Didn't really like it. It was like soup with chucks of tofu. Lacked flavor.

Nice restaurant with good choice of not fat food(they do have that too), I took a burger with side dish nice green salad instead of fattening potatoes. Good beer options and good service. Too bad there aint more of these restaurants. Only bad thing was only 2 toilets compare restaurant size.

Thanksgiving Sammy went straight to his hips 💅 but he enjoyed it Ahi seared tuna for happy hour for only 10 bucks?! And massively tasty

I can always expect the best flavors and quality ingredients. I got the Pesto Caprese Melt (- tomoatoes, + grilled chicken). And a Pressecco cocktail. Price came out to about $40 (before tip), which was high imo for lunch and a happy hour cocktail, but I have never been disappointed.

Steak house
American restaurant
Restaurant
Charlie Palmer Steak Reno is a contemporary steakhouse located in Reno, NV, known for its modern industrial-chic space and new renditions of classic steakhouse favorites. As part of the Charlie Palmer Group, this fine dining restaurant offers expertly prepared American cuisine using the finest ingredients. The restaurant's open layout and modern decor create an inviting atmosphere that makes fine dining accessible to all guests.
My husband and I had come to Charlie Palmer‘s steakhouse to enjoy a date night. Little did we know we would have the best night of our lives on a Tuesday. Our waiter Albert was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was exquisite and when we got hot towels towards the end of our experience, I was sold that that would be our very favorite place. We really enjoyed this amazing restaurant inside of the grand Sierra. We will definitely be back thank you.😊

This evening my table had a phenomenal four course meal. Presentation was spectacular. Timing of serving different courses was on point. Exceptional service by our waiter Forest, who went above and beyond to see we had a pleasant evening. He deserves a raise! Best service we had in a while. You could sincerely tell that he has passion and pride in his work. We especially appreciated the chef coming out to our table to spend a brief moment asking our thoughts of the meal. Fully pleased with our experience. Only one small recommendation was the TV just to the side of our table with the sports game on , it was a small distraction from the rest of the lovely dining atmosphere.

All around a really good dining experience. I walked in with jeans, t-shirt, and tennis shoes and felt under dressed. But, the staff was fantastic and very helpful. They waited on me very well and kept the drinks filled. In the restaurant row of the Grand Sierra Resort, it’s worth the trip into this casino to eat here. The aesthetic of the place is calm and a good place to relax, eat with a friend/loved one, or even a classy business meet up. They have a great selection of food. I chose the 21-day aged ribeye. Delicious and perfectly cooked. The creamy Yukon mashed potatoes were also amazing and complimented the steak every well. I would definitely come back and eat here again.

We had a fantastic birthday dinner celebration at Charlie Palmer Steak! The cocktail list was impressive, especially the Poire d'Or, which I absolutely loved, and the service was top-notch. The ambiance is elegant, and every member of the staff was professional and attentive. Our server Landon was super fun and felt like the perfect fit for the vibe here. We loved his service and he treated us so well! We started with the classic Caesar salad, followed by the New York strip with peppercorn sauce, a half lobster tail, and a side of mashed potatoes. Everything was perfect and I loved the lobster tail. For dessert, we enjoyed a flawless creme brulee, and to top it off, they brought out a complimentary pineapple cake with birthday candles. Like, so thoughtful. The beer list was also very European and well-curated. My fiancee had a German beer. I'd highly recommend Charlie Palmer for a fun and memorable night out!

Food was amazing, atmosphere was great. But the service we received from Forest our waiter was the best. Thanks for the great experience and delicious food. We will definitely be back

Had a really nice mezcal and chartreuse cocktail. The steak was perfect, as was the fois gras. Lobster M n C to comfort the pallet. Dessert was ok, can’t remember what it was but pic provided. I would have preferred the cheesecake or something with chocolate

Forrest was our server and he was just amazing! It was our first time coming here to Charlie Palmers and always wanted to try the happy hour. Forrest was so attentive and service was just all around fantastic! And food was amazing! Everything amazing! Wow!

Our server Blair was unmatched professionally! His attention to detail and his warm manner was a very nice touch! Not to mention the food was amazing!! We had several appetizers and a couple of entrees and everything had a unique flavor but not overdone. Yes a bit pricey but it was a very nice experience!

Californian restaurant
Bistro
Bistro Napa is an upscale restaurant located in the Atlantis resort, offering a focus on California cuisine and an extensive wine selection. The dining room features a bright and energetic atmosphere with an open kitchen and sky-colored rotundas. Additionally, the restaurant offers a variety of small plates during social hour, including options like lamb kebabs, baked brie, and tuna tartare tower paired with selections from their vast wine collection or cocktail menu.
Lively but classy atmosphere and environment. Our service was impeccable thanks to Eddie and Vito. There were large groups of people sitting near and around the four of us, but our service never dropped below 5 Stars! Having an exposed kitchen is always desirable, so you can watch the chefs in action if you choose to and to see the cleanliness of the establishment. Our appetizers, entrees and dessert were artfully presented and all were delicious. When the Service AND Food are this good, it is easy to state that this was an excellent dining experience. I highly recommend Bistro Napa!

Napa Bistro during Happy Hour is one of our favorite spots. The restaurant is always clean, the service is great, and the food is both delicious and affordable. If you want a table during happy hour, make sure to get there early—otherwise, you might have to wait, but it’s definitely worth it. They’re always adding new dishes to the menu, but my go-to favorites are the steamed Manila clams and the prime rib sliders. So good!
Juliene — Google review
This review id for the Bistro Napa Social Hour that goes from just 4:30 to 6:30 pm everyday. There's a rush to get in so get here early to get a seat. The food is all half off the listed prices as well as the wines ... even the good stuff! I had a Rombauer Merlot reg it was $24 a glass! That's the good stuff! I got it for just$12 a glass ... I had two! And get this they do 8 oz. pours here, that's way bigger than most bars! The food here is wonderful and the service is super fast, they got that down here! We had the BBQ pork ribs, 5 stars, the steamed clams with the amazing broth ... I wanted to drink it! The flat bread are all good. Check this happy hour out!
J P — Google review
Went here with some friends. The service was great from the moment we got seated until we left. We went on a Friday evening and it was too busy, pretty chill atmosphere while we were there. The food was great, no complaints at all. I had a mock tail. I forgot the name of the drink but found it really refreshing and tasty. I ordered “sexy fries” and they are good French fries but they’re just French fries lol! For dinner I ordered a bistro burger and let me tell you…it’s a pretty hefty burger. It’s good but afterwords I was stuffed. No dessert for me. We were giving cotton candy and a brownie as we left. That was also great tasting. I would recommend this for anyone for any occasion
Jeodude — Google review
The service could have been better since I got the happy hour 🍻 seats 💺. I think the boa bun being fried crispy is what took so long. The food 🍱 here is great. 😊 I really want to try the calamari next time. I got the Asian ribs, boa bun , & prime rib sliders. 🍔. All was very yummy. I also got a virgin drink 🍹 that was very tasty. I would recommend reserving a table ahead of time to avoid the wait.
Jami B — Google review
I've been coming to the social hour for over 10 years. The line length is hit or miss but Ive always found a table. Hosts are kind and knowledgeable, food is always delicious, and drinks are the best happy hour deal in Reno. Steamed class are everyone's favorite. Try the Jalamango cocktail and whiskey on the rocks for half price.
Michele C — Google review
Lovely place. Great food. Was here for a 18 person retirement party. Oysters, wedge salad, pork belly, filet and salmon. Such great food. Atmosphere was away from the smoke and smell of the casino which was wonderful. Great service for a party our size. Great wine selection and cocktails.
Jennifer R — Google review
The food was excellent. We ordered two different types of steak to compare, and a full size lobster tail ($100). everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert (baked Alaska, a gift for my wife's birthday). Almost too much service and attention, but it was friendly and not awkward.

Basque restaurant
Banquet hall
Family restaurant
Louis' Basque Corner is a historic restaurant in the American West, originally opened by Basque immigrants Louis and Lorraine Erreguible in 1967. Today, it continues to uphold Basque traditions with hearty family-style meals served around communal tables. The menu features traditional specialties such as paella, tongue, oxtails, steak, lamb, sweetbreads and organ meats served with vegetables and sauce.
Worth every penny! The wait staff was so friendly and attentive, they offered great suggestions when I wasnt sure what to order. The food was amazing! A 7 course dinner for under $50 (before tip) is a steal! I had so much food left over.
Bridget M — Google review
This place serves up excellent traditional style Basque food. I had the lamb chops and they were excellent. The meal came with delicious sides including soup, rice and chicken, salad, beans, French fries and red wine, along with your choice of dessert. I had cheese and grapes, washed down with a little bit of wine. The sides were outstanding—fries were warm and cut from fresh potatoes. The ambiance was fun—the place was packed. Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. Service was great.
Robert L — Google review
It is with a heavy heart that I leave a less than stellar review, 35 years in the making. *sigh* This restaurant in my family pre-dates my existence. We are Basque and the only time I've had Basque food is in the little town my family is from, Markina-Xemein. My aunt had her wedding reception here years ago and its been a regular post in my extended families Reno trips ever since. When I moved to Reno, I immediately became the envy of the family because I'd be close enough to have this delicious cuisine at my whim. Wanting my first time to be special, I waited 6 months until my father was able to make the trip to Reno. I locked in our reservations ahead of time. This is a family style restaurant in the most traditional sense, meaning that you are seated with strangers at the same table where you pass plates of food to one another. Great ambiance, great concept, loved it. The first course featured bread and a brightly flavored vegetable barley soup. My grandmother would have loved this soup! The second course was a tangy dressed simple salad alongside some bacon and leek beans as well as the spanish chicken with rice. The salad was much like the ones that are served at my aunt's house, the beans were so delicious and had such a wonderful depth in flavor. Ill discuss the chicken at the end of this review because I want to solely focus on the positive for now. Stay with me. We were also served some of the best French fries I have ever had! My dad had the rack of lamb which was to die for! The texture was perfect, the rosemary flavor was all through the meat, melted in your mouth. I cannot stress the mouthfeel, it can be really difficult to get lamb right. My fiance and I ordered the ox tails. Another amazing dish worth going back for, we joked about drinking the Bourgeois sauce it was served on. Dessert is optional which we did not indulge in so I have nothing to write about that. The reason I am rating the service two stars is because me and my fiance were served bloody chicken. When I quietly and kindly showed the waitress, the only thing she could ask was if it was ok to take our plates away. ....Uh, you don't need to be culinary trained and serve safe certified, like myself, to know you shouldn't eat off of a plate with raw chicken blood on it. Sorely disappointing in how she handled it though we still tipped a loving $45 in cash. What I would have liked to hear from her was an apology and offering a small discount. But no, she couldn't admit fault, she had no sense of customer satisfaction at all. Instead of going home and ruthlessly posting this review in anger, I reached out to the restaurant via their website hoping to discuss further before I posted photos of the bloody chicken they served us but here goes...after a week with no response... Desperately wanting to fall in love with this place as generations of my family have, I will give this place another shot sometime but we won't be having our wedding reception here.
Allison T — Google review
Imagine walking into a restaurant that feels more like a joyful family gathering than a formal dining experience. You’re seated with other guests at a long table, and soon you’re sharing laughter, stories, and, of course, an impressive spread of delicious food. Here, there’s no such thing as a ‘stranger’ – just friends you haven’t met yet. The meal starts with warm bread and butter, a crisp vinegar salad, and a comforting chicken rice dish that’s rich, buttery, and full of flavor from the marinated chicken. The chicken itself is tender and moist, falling right off the bone. Then comes a bowl of hearty soup with rice, carrots, and tender meat, bringing all the flavors of home. For my entrée, I chose the oxtail, and wow! It was something special – cooked to perfection with a balance of lean meat and luscious fat, all bathed in a savory broth that felt like a warm hug in every bite. To top it all off, dessert options were pure indulgence. I went for vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle, a simple but satisfying end to the meal. But if you want to go all out, they offer a blueberry cheesecake that’s light, creamy, and layered with a sweet-tart berry sauce that’s like fireworks in your mouth. And all this – every bite, every laugh, every shared smile – comes at the price of your chosen entrée. It’s an incredible deal, and an experience you won’t find anywhere else. This is a must-visit, 100% recommend!
Hanny P — Google review
The meal was pretty terrible. Basic food that may or may not have been cooked on site. The meat was pretty basic and not worth the price. The fries were decent, and we had good service, but I would not recommend this place
Ben W — Google review
Good things first! Service - quite attentive and kind. Pincon punch - first sip was a bit much. But after a minute or two (and adding some extra ice), it mellowed and opened allowing flavors to shine. Unique and a must try. Oxtail - slightly over-cooked in my opinion. But that's probably just me being fussy. I think most would enjoy the "fall off the bone" meat. Also, the sauce was wonderful. Great, rich flavor. Chef's kiss. Not so good things.. Wine - complimentary, which is a nice touch. Sadly, it was bad wine. :-/ Over oxidized, probably. But possibly cooked. It didn't smell right and poured an odd color. Flavor was definitely off. Disappointing, but it was free - so can't really complain. Beans - ever wondered what frontier-style beans were like? Yeah, like the ones in the old western movies. That was this. Not sure if that's necessarily a good thing. Fries - unseasoned and basic - likely purchased frozen in a big pack and then, for some reason, left unseasoned. If these are made here, big disappointment. Salad - past it's prime and fairly basic American style. A little off-color. I probably wouldn't have served this to guests, but.. yeah. Bread - basic American. I hope this isn't made here. If it is, another swing and a miss. Rabbit - cooked perfectly but the sauce didn't quite come together. There just wasn't any harmony here. Clean-up efforts - a little on the pushy side. Yeahh.. that's an understatement. Easily the most pushy I've experienced in my life. Efforts oscillated between somewhat annoying and incredibly aggravating. One person in particular - he was way too much. Way too aggressive with trying to move people along. Cheesecake - fruit compote topping was overly sweet and kinda garbagey. It seemed an afterthought. And I humbly suggest offering this as an option instead of serving it as the default. Frankly, the compote ought to come with a warning. I think it ruined the cheesecake 😕 Similarly, the ice cream was good quality. But why smother it in chocolate syrup? Sometimes simple and pure is the way to go.
Vox P — Google review
Delicious entrees. Too much food - kids got a doggy bag. Foods are served family style at long tables. Refills keep coming of food and wine. Very loud. Staff had to yell to explain how to order. Difficult to chat with my dinner companions. Apparently, the next room (near the restroom) was much quieter than our table in the big room.
Sanne K — Google review
Wife and I ordered the no entree dinner for two, which came with bread, soup, salad, braised chicken, fries, dessert, and house red wine. The soup and the chicken were tasty but the rest of the items were average. The service was good and the family style dining was great for meeting and conversing with the other diners at the same table. We lucked out with some nice and interesting people.

Nestled in the heart of Reno, Bricks Restaurant is a charming and intimate eatery that beautifully marries classic American cuisine with a modern twist. With its unique decor featuring exposed brick walls and an inviting atmosphere, it’s no wonder this spot has become a favorite for special nights out. The quirky design includes a retail area and even a garage-style entrance that adds to its character.
The entrance to Bricks is a little tucked away off South Virginia, which makes it feel instantly inviting and full of charm. We kicked things off with the crab cakes—phenomenal! Crispy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The Caesar and wedge salads were fresh and delicious. The Manhattans were a delight—a good one can be hard to find, but they nailed it! For entrées, we had the lobster and scallop risotto and the seafood pasta, both rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and Jen made sure everything flowed perfectly. Between the food, the cocktails, the atmosphere, and the service, Bricks delivers a truly memorable dining experience. Already planning my next visit!

I took my friend here while I was in town visiting for her birthday. It was during the week, so I'm assuming it was a little slower than usual, but the service was absolutely amazing—attentive and friendly from start to finish. The food was pretty good, I’d give it an 8/10. The dishes were flavorful, but nothing that completely wowed us. The drinks, however, definitely hit the spot, I’d rate them a 9/10—they were well-crafted and refreshing. As for the ambiance, it provided a nice atmosphere, with a cozy yet trendy vibe. However, there was something about the crowd that felt a little off. While we were enjoying the evening, we couldn’t help but notice the lack of diversity in the people around us. Maybe it was just the night we were there, but as our meal went on, we started to feel a bit out of place. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it did leave us feeling somewhat uncomfortable by the end.
Ravyn W — Google review
We had high hopes for Bricks — it looks like a five-star spot, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the impression. We came later in the evening around 8pm, and the salads were underwhelming: sparse, tired-looking, and definitely not worth the price. The main dishes were rich but lacked balance and clean flavor. While that might appeal to some, it wasn’t quite what we were hoping for. The overall experience was just okay — nothing that made us eager to return. That said, the service was friendly and the atmosphere is clearly a draw for many. It seems to be a local classic, and if you’re after hearty food with solid service, it might hit the mark. But if you’re looking for a meal that feels fresh, flavorful, and leaves you feeling good afterward, this may not be the place.

We have been blindly driving by for years. This is a MUST for an elegant dinner. Warmest ambience with secluded booths on multiple levels. Excellent wine list with reasonable prices. We started with the Spinach salad with Port soaked dark Cherries. Yum. The dinner menu has numerous options. My husband went with Yellow Curry and Coconut Halibut served with spinach on vermicelli rice noodles. The pleasant aroma hit as they were setting the plate down. He said it was one of the best halibut dishes ever. My choice next time. I selected a Mushroom Ravioli with cream sauce. Again a wow. Don't skip the dessert menu. Dinner Menu prices are NOT up to date.

We came here once 12 years ago for our 2nd wedding anniversary. We went again for our 14th anniversary recently, and they are just as consistent and amazing in their execution as they were more than a decade ago. Food and cocktails were on point. Cocktails were artfully crafted and were not overly sweet. The ingredients spoke for themselves and were not overpowered by syrups or artificial flavors. The food was so good, beautifully plated, and perfectly balanced. It's been too long between our first and second visit here and we will not wait so long for our next visit.

Bricks Delivers Flavor Beyond Compare! Just had an absolutely phenomenal meal at Bricks! I ordered the Steak Oscar mix, and let me tell you, the flavors were out of this world. Seriously, pictures (even from @foodpheens just don't do it justice. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy, and the Oscar topping – with its rich seafood blend and creamy sauce – elevated every bite. It was a true symphony of flavors that left me completely satisfied. The atmosphere was great, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience where the food truly speaks for itself, Bricks is the place to go. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The atmosphere is cozy, rustic, and romantic. The service is attentive and sharply dressed. The coconut prawns were massive, but we a little light on the flavor. The sauce was sweet, but the dish could've used a bit more seasoning or more coconut flavor. The onion soup was phenomenal, creamy, and the onions simply dissolve in the mouth. The seafood thermidor tasted excellent. However, the lobster was as tough as a tire. The scallops and shrimp were perfectly cooked and very tender and the sauce was very rich and creamy. The dessert. We ordered the key lime pie, cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, and the creme brulee. They were all great, the creme brulee bring the crown jewel among them. It was so silky smooth, I can say it was the best creme brulee I've ever had. The cocktails were nothing to write home about, they did the job and at a price most people would expect at a restaurant like this ($14). For two people with tax and tip, two cocktails each, an appetizer, two soups, two entrees, and four desserts, it bill came out to $300. I loved the experience and would recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice dinner date location. Best part? Private parking lot. A big one. What a treat!

The establishment prides itself on its innovative New American cuisine, featuring dishes like double elk chops with cherry demi-glace, rock candy short rib poutine, and tempura tiger prawns.
One of the best local restaurants! WPH has great food and is always highlighting fun and new entrees. We recently tried Camel and it was amazing. From walking into the door, to finishing up, every part is designed to provide exceptional customer experience.

Place has a good vibe , great service and good option for drinks. I had the short rib poutine and it was tasty but needed more heat...even the gravy was quite sweet. It needed some heat 🌶️ all in all this place was great and would go again.

Outstanding food and service! Interesting dishes, all well-made and absolutely delicious. Their short ribs (in several dishes) are meltingly tender. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes soon.

Friendly service. They asked if we had a reservation when we walked in. Even though we didn't, they were able to seat us. So... you may want to call in advance. Bar available. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with no bun and brussel sprouts. Very good. My husband had the boar schnitzel, and he said it was delicious.

Disappointed by the Experience While the food presentation was visually appealing, unfortunately, the flavor didn’t live up to the look. We ordered several items, including the Washoe burger, which was extremely dry and overwhelmed by mustard seeds it really overpowered the entire dish. The mac and cheese was the one bright spot and the only item we’d consider ordering again out of the six we tried. Service-wise, it wasn’t terrible, but we were told the manager would be upset if our kids played near the picnic bench. As a parent who values respectful behavior, I found the warning unnecessary and a bit off-putting especially when it was absolutely dead on a Sunday at 6pm. Lastly, while we were eating, a couple walking their dogs mentioned the restaurant might be under new ownership and that dogs are no longer allowed on the patio. I’m not sure if that’s true, but it added to the overall vibe of being overly strict. If a restaurant is going to be this particular about policies, I would hope the food and hospitality would shine. Sadly, that wasn’t our experience. Also there is no kids menu. Not that that’s a big deal.

We had a medium sized group that ate here for lunch a couple weeks back. I had high hopes because their menu was very unique and there were several things I wanted to try. I ended up getting the Venison Patty Melt. It was good (not great), but didn't taste different than a normal burger. My wife got the Washoe Burger and it came out well done, looked kinda hard. So, I would say for what we ordered, pretty average. From a service perspective, just ok. Not the friendliest host or server. Did their jobs without much fanfare. A couple of our orders didn't come out as ordered or expected (cheese when none was requested, well done burger for medium). I think we got one refill of water, but no iced tea refill. Again, I would say their biggest draw is their menu. Definitely had some interesting dinner items and I would actually come back just to try some. Who knows, maybe it was just an off day for the restaurant.

Best Grilled Cheese of my life! Had the opportunity to come here for lunch this past weekend and could not be more pleased! Service was excellent and timely, the food was melt in your mouth good, and the overall vibe and aesthetic of the restaurant was on point! Order up the Tiger Prawns and the Rock Candy Short Rib Grilled Cheese, you will not be disappointed! Will definitely be coming back hungry for more.

Neat little spot. Food was tasty. LARGE portions. We ordered appetizers (Irish fries with pork belly) Pork belly egg rolls, The tempura prawns for appetizers. And the venison patty melt ( can not use my opinion I do not eat gamey meat. He said it was good.) And the Rock Candy Ribs grilled cheese. The house salad was a bed of mixed greens, spectacular strawberries and thin sliced almonds with their lemon vinegarette. Very very good. And we brought home a lot of leftovers! Service was great also. They have happy hour cocktail prices and small plates of some menu items as well. Recommended for sure. Sorry about the melt and grilled cheese pics. Realized we had not taken a photo after we were enjoying the meal 😬

DOPO Pizza & Pasta is a vibrant and laid-back restaurant in Reno, known for its delicious pizza, waffles, homemade ice cream, and margaritas. As an offshoot of Coffeebar, it offers a diverse menu featuring tantalizing appetizers, house-made pasta dishes, craft pizzas, and iconic desserts. Guests can complement their meals with Italian-inspired cocktails, wine selections or cold craft beers.
It is hard to put into words…ate more than we should have and it was absolutely worth it! Went to the midtown location for the first time last week for a date with my husband. It was Sunday night which typically isn’t a super busy time for Midtown and we were lucky to snag the last two open seats by the bar. Loved it so much we bought 3 gift cards for friends (was particularly impressed and surprised by the number of vegan options on the menu) and ordered a pizza today at the RPM location. Just go for yourself and see why everyone is talking about it.

Great service, was told about some of the happy hour specials by the host when we were sat, knowledgeable! Didn’t get anything happy hour but the deals were good. We got the Panna Fresca and added the spicy sausage along with the Marg pizza. The sausage in the pasta was good, seemed quality!! However the pasta to sausage ratio was a bit off, LOTS of sausage for the amount of noodles. For fresh handmade noodles, they were definitely tasty, but not the best I’ve had. Always better than boxed! The pizza was phenomenal, nice crispy crust, perfect amount of cheese and I loved the sliced fresh basil on top. Our server was attentive and when we told her we hadn’t been before we got a little tour of the menu which I love. Overall cute place!! Healed the part of me craving pasta.

My new favorite spot downtown. Perfect flavor Neapolitan style pizza. (Fig + Pig). We also had dessert and espresso "thank you for using a real espresso machine." We sat outside, lounge atmosphere, sunshades ,and lots of greenery. Service was top notch. You can tell the staff loves what they do. They really did a great job designing what was once there before them. P.s thanks for being open for the 4th of July

We've been going to Dopo for years and it's always been one of our favorite spots. This was our first time at their new location. It was so busy, which was great to see! We chose to hang out at the bar until they had an available table. Everyone was so attentive and kind - manager, bartender, servers - wonderful all around. Food, dessert, and drinks were delicious as always. We'll be back for sure!

Don't sleep on one of Reno's best pizza joints in town. Their pizza selections are both familiar and bold. The Fig and Pig is not to be missed. The cocktails are hand crafted and made to order; quite delicious. What also really shines is the stellar service; how refreshing to have such friendly, down to earth service in Midtown. Highly recommend. Grab one of the outdoor tables for a nice warm evening with a breeze.

I made an online order and got the spaghetti meatballs, and I have to admit that for $24, I was expecting a much larger portion than what I picked up, which was a small cardboard container that seemed especially small relative to what you would get for a similar price at other locally owned Italian restaurants in the area. The food itself was okay, although the meatball was a little tough and the pasta was slightly bland. I probably won’t be back, but it seems like a lot of people clearly love this place.

I love this steakhouse! It is a nice, fine dining atmosphere. The host is always very welcoming & friendly. The servers are extremely nice & helpful also. The food has been top notch every time I have gone (about 10 times now). My favorite things are the beet salad & the king crab legs. Everything I've tried has been delicious though! Absolutely incredible dining experience! The peppercorn-crusted New York steak was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The manager was exceptionally helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and that we found the ideal wine pairing. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere — highly recommend!

Just ok. My wife and I used to frequent 5 star Restaurants in Scottsdale, Arizona frequently… we were hoping for similar experience, but not even close. The Wagyu Filet wasn’t any more special that a Filet at any other local Steakhouse. It was the Australian cut. Our stay here was a month ago, and none of the other food was memorable. The drink we ordered was delicious. But only good for a few swallows and an empty glass of ice. We loved the Casino, but learned a valuable lesson and will eat at local restraints elsewhere when we visit.

Omg!! This place was exactly what I needed when I needed it. After a 2 year deployment I missed a delicious old fashioned. If you know anything about old fashioned you know it can be hard to find someone who makes them well. Mo made mine and it did not disappoint. Thank you for making my first drink post deployment an excellent one. Lisandra and Eric were my servers and they were so kind and attentive. They didn't judge my attire or unkempt appearance at all...simply served me with smiles and kindness. I really appreciate you guys! I will most definitely be back. Cheers!

Brunch Vibes at Squeeze In – Reno 🥓🍳🥪☕️ Just had an awesome brunch at Squeeze In and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were charmed by the quirky, colorful decor—everything from firefighter helmets to Batman & Superman flying across the ceiling! 🦸‍♂️🚒 JR was our server and let me tell you—this guy was fantastic! Super friendly, knew the menu like a pro, and checked in with us to make sure we were loving everything (which we were). Service with a big smile goes a long way! She had the BLT Truckee—classic and delicious. I went for the Chipotle Eggs Benedict, which was amazing—those freshly poached eggs were totally worth the wait! They even brought us free cinnamon rolls to thank us for being patient (now that’s hospitality). I sipped on an Arnold Palmer iced tea and soaked in the good vibes. This place really gets brunch right. Highly recommend you stop in and say hey to JR if you’re in Reno. We’ll definitely be back! #SqueezeIn #RenoBrunch #EggsBenedict #SupportLocal #GreatService #FoodieFinds I just wanna add that the Eggs Benedict were masterly done definitely way worth waiting for.. So I went back to the kitchen to ask who made the eggs and this guy Caesar comes out. I just had to give him props on it cause they were perfectly poached eggs and that is something hard to do.

Oh wow. This was a really bad visit. Well the staff were great but the food was inedible. Please see picture for reference. The toast was beyond burnt. How do you serve that?! And I think they’ve switched to an egg product. You can see the scrambled eggs and the omelet were not normal eggs. You can see how crumbly the scrambled eggs are. Kid wouldn’t eat it even with ketchup. Paid $30+ for an omelet and a kids meal. Both were unfortunately inedible. Well the bacon inside the Racy Tracy were fine.
Bentley P — Google review
First, we had to have gotten the best table. The resin decorations fit with Squeeze it's general esthetic. The atmosphere was loud, but the place was packed for veterans day. We got the racy Tracy omelet, and as you can see, the avocado was easily the size of the omelet. That's not to saw the omelet was small (its only a 3 egg), but the avocado was massive. The potatoes had added cheese and onions (I could have done without the onions as they were diced and fried, adding little flavor and only more grease), so much cheese that every bite had strings of cheese hanging off them. It was delicious, the mushrooms and avocado were fresh, and the meal was filling. Definitely check this place out if you like breakfast food. They even accommodate food alternatives and allergies.

We went two separate occasions with a group. We all loved the Reno Squeeze In. It has a down-to-earth homey feel, service was great, & the food and drink awesome. All the Mimosas are fabulous I'm sure. A few of us tried the Island Rum...it was Rum-alischous! For those that want to be creative and leave their mark, ask for their markers. We donated a very special sign and plan to re-visit as much as we can. Thank you...we had fun!!

The Rim Asian Bistro is a distinctive eatery that offers a variety of traditional Asian dishes, ranging from wonton and hot and sour soup to Mongolian beef, honey-glazed walnut prawns, kung pao chicken, chow mein, and more. Moreover, they boast an extensive sushi menu that can be enjoyed either at your table or at the Rim bar. Located within the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, this restaurant presents a unique fusion of flavors from various Asian cuisines.
We eat here for the first time. The restaurant was crowded so we opted to sit at the sushi bar instead. Out server was very attentive. She keeps coming by to ask if we needed anything else. The sashimi are very fresh and tasty. We had a good time! Don't forget to get the ice cream. It's fantastic!

I used the GSR App to book a table at The Rim through Open Table. I was seated promptly and greeted by Fernando Lemel who helped me find what I wanted. I enjoyed the pot stickers and the Golden Gate roll which was new to the menu. I wanted some hot saki and Fernando suggested a lechee one that was floral and delicious. I’ll be making a return trip soon, so good. Fast friendly and helpful service.

So 'not the worst' is the nicest thing I can say. This place used to be good, but times have changed. After a few bites in, the food seemed to loose its flavor. I will say the Sweet and Sour Chicken held its own. The Dragon Roll Sushi is supposed to be a cooked roll, but it was not cooked inside and tbh , a little gross. The Mussels were sad, don't order those. The busser was very kind and efficient. The manager was friendly checked on us often. The hostess was not the most friendly, but we only had to interact with her in the beginning. The server (Clay) was kind and friendly, albeit rather slow. I wouldn't want to be here on a busy night.
Corrina S — Google review
Original I tried Rim on 10/12 and tried the general chicken with the crab rangoons. The food was decent. However I went back on 10/14 with a group of friends and I got the hot and sour soup and the rangoons again. Immediately after having a few bites of the soup it tasted fishy and I started to get nauseous. I barely made it to my room spending the evening with food poisoning. I tried to talk to staff next day and no luck with talking with the manager. As for service it was just okay and slow to order. As for atmosphere it's a casino so average with a hint of cigarette smoke. Overall I would not go back again after spending the night in the bathroom.
Moi M — Google review
We ate at Rim twice during our stay. The first night we sat at the sushi bar due to the lack of available tables...it was just busy. The all you can eat sushi is a great deal when it's available. The sushi chef will custom make you anything on the menu. I had the sea bass and it was fantastic. The second night, I ordered the kung pao chicken and it was just ok. My daughter had the orange chicken and she gave it a thumbs up. I wish I would have ordered the sushi instead. Service was pretty good given that we were seated in the extra dining room across from the entrance. We'll probably be back for the sushi.
Jon L — Google review
I was excited for my sushi. Even though I had previously had subpar experiences at this place, I had been told this place had changed its ways and was decent. And then our main food came, and it was worse than the starters. If you’re going to serve frozen fish, perhaps thaw it out first. The food is awful. There is no other way to say it. That said, it does have good service in a nice atmosphere.
Churchill V — Google review
Slow service plan accordingly. Food is good with large portions. Our server was great however our order came out wrong a few times, not entirely sure if it was the servers fault or not. They made this right and compensated for issues by clearing charges for those items. I would go again, but most likely would not go when they are busy or if I were pressed for time.
Donovan L — Google review
To preface; I don't like sushi, so i can't review how it was, but appearance wise (you can see for yourself in the pictures) was great. I am a simple eater, tend to find something i like on a menu and stick to it. For asian cuisines i am a fried rice person, but will branch out on occasion. Additionally, the plates were share sized which was always my favorite way to eat, so kuddos on that. Starting the meal off with a few appetizers we chose the edamame and potstickers. Not being a fan of edamame i have to assume they were good as both the missus and my son devoured them speaking nothing but praise. The pot stickers were flavorful and packed with filling, fried to a nice crisp served with a sauce i could not identify, and did not use as they needed no sauce. The dish I selected was called Rim Fried Rice, a combo fried rice including shrimp, chicken, beef and pork. The rice was cooked well, the veggies crisp, and the shrimp cook perfectly, but the flavors seemed to just be a melody of one flavor, it all tasted the same. Texturally i got the shrimp and the tender meat, but flavor wise it felt bland. My son elected for the broccoli beef; hes the smart one. I've eaten my fair share of broccoli beef in my day, and i avoid it usually because of the texture of the broccoli itself. However this broccoli was crisp, and yet cooked and hot. I loved the snap it made biting into it, which contrasted the tenderness of the beef which virtually melted in your mouth. The sauce had just a hair of backside heat (as a coward to spicy food, i loved it) which made the whole thing come together amazingly. My only wish was more of that amazing sauce, i would buy that stuff by the bottle. Our server Kristina (name dropping because she deserves the recognition) was outstanding. Casino restaurants are busy, and some patrons can be... demanding. She was on point, I watched her weave between her tables ensuring drinks were filled and needs were met. When our food arrived she was attentative to anything more we needed before starting, then gave us a decent amount of time to begin enjoying our food without interuption before checking on us. The other tables being served by other staff were being taken care of as well, so i can only say the staff there was amazing. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and for the price, most definantly worth it. If it wasnt for my rice this could of easily earned my 5th star. Lastly, they offer military discount which is more rare than you think, so i thank them for supporting the men and women of our armed forces.

Beaujolais Bistro is a charming French restaurant located in the Arts District of downtown Reno. The bistro offers a daily changing menu of refined French dishes, complemented by an impressive selection of wine and beer. The warm and inviting atmosphere features white tablecloths, brick walls, and intimate seating, creating the perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. The attentive staff are knowledgeable about the food and wine offerings, ensuring exceptional service.
An absolute gem. Loved everything! This is a beautiful and very clean establishment. It feels upscale, yet also home-y and welcoming. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass. The menu rotates, here's what we had: - Marinated calvestrano olives which were served warm. They were so delicious we took an extra order to go. These might be the best olives I've ever had! - Onion soup gratin. Comfort food! Slightly sweet, very savory, and the right balance of cheese to add flavor without being too much. - Scallops with artichoke heart and beurre blanc. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. - Hanger steak with fries. The steak was beautifully cooked and sliced, the red wine sauce was rich and flavorful. I didn't love the fries but let's be honest, I did not go there for great fries. - Orange creme brulee. Wow. Wow. Wow. The crust was excellent and charred (in a good way) in a few spots. It came with very fresh berries that were surprisingly packed with flavor despite it being winter. I rated the service a 4 because our drink refills were slow despite the restaurant not being very busy that we could tell.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Beaujolais Bistro. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and every member of the team went out of their way to ensure our evening was special. The manager stopped by our table to check in, which was a nice personal touch that really stood out. It showed a genuine care for the guest experience, and it was clear that the whole team takes pride in what they do. The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Combined with the warm and inviting atmosphere, it made for an unforgettable dining experience. Beaujolais Bistro is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food, outstanding service, and a place where the staff and management genuinely value their guests.

We sat out on the front porch for three hours and LOVED every minute of it. Our server and wait staff were elegant and engaging. The duck was done to perfection- not a flaw. The French onion soup was rich and warm...just what we needed as the weather turned colder outside. Highly rexommend.

As always, our dining experience was excellent.  The food, the wine, the service, and the ambiance are all top notch.  Sure, prices have gone up, as they have anywhere that serves quality cuisine, but it's worth it every time at Beaujolais.  We particularly like the Liberty Duck dishes, the fish (any of them) and the steak, and the four desserts we ordered were all better than the last. And Rosalyn, our server, was the best we've had at Beaujolais and the best we've had in a long time at any restaurant.  She is super friendly and knowledgeable and shows the perfect level of attention.  She never bothered us but also never left us looking for her.  I'm sure she had other tables, but it felt like we were her only table and she was watching us all along to make sure we never wanted for anything.

Came on a double date on Valentine’s day. Menu was set but had decent options. I’ve never really had French food so I don’t have a taste for it but everything was beautifully plated and service was great. I didn’t much care for some of the early courses (escargot, fois gras, caviar) but the truffle filet mignon for the main course was 🔥🔥🔥. Made the entire dinner worth it. Lots of truffle shavings and the steak was cooked perfectly. If you like French food or want a nice new culinary experience, this spot won’t disappoint. L

I've been twice now and had roughly the same experience both times. The atmosphere is charming and intimate although the split space of the restaurant seems like it leaves the servers harried and gives the impression they are barging into their own dining rooms. The service itself is attentive, polite, and professional enough. However, both times I've been here, the wait between ordering and dining has been significant and accompanied only by appeasing refills of bread (which was appreciated) and nervous glances at the table by the servers with no communication to address it (which would have been more appreciated). So was it worth the wait? Yes and no. On both visits, I found the drinks and diverse offerings of appetizers to be tasty and timely. The same can't be said for the entrees. The meat never seems to be cooked just properly and the meals have come out cold. I suspect this is related to those aforementioned wait times. Even this is forgivable, but more concerningly, whether it was duck, steak, or lamb, I found the meat tough (It would have been a mercy for them to provide a SAWZALL for my most recent meal) and downright flavorless. This was only highlighted by the humble entree accoutrements which were very flavorful but didn't seem to be working in balance with as much as attempting to mask an underwhelming main dish. On dessert, I have to frankly say that between the high price points and the wait, by the time it was offered there wasn't enough good faith on the table to indulge. Beaujolais Bistro could be in consideration as a nice spot for a refreshment or light dining, but it's a tough sell to recommend a full experience here. I can't help but feel there is a disconnect at Beaujolais. I'm not sure if it is something physical; a small kitchen struggling to keep up with two dining rooms, or maybe the strain of a menu that I was told shifts daily, but I think there is a change that could be made at this bistro for the better. It sincerely was surprising to me that my experiences were not only consistent between my two visits, but that my specific detractions seem be consistent with other diners over time after reading similar (and generous) reviews.

Beaujolais has set a new bar for me in regards to dining and service that every restaurant I attend will be compared to in the future. Located on Riverside drive, the area is alive and quaint. There's a lovely view of the river, and the people walking by makes the area feel very alive. We dined outside, but the inside of Beaujolais was beautiful and home-y. The menu was diverse and was delicious. For an appetizer my partner and I shared the duck and mushroom cigars which were moist, crunchy, and served over a bed of one of the most delicious sauces I've ever had. For entrees we opted for steak fritz and rack of lamb. The fry sauce was shockingly good, and the lamb was one of the most tender pieces of meat I've eaten. We finished with creme brulee and a surprise from the serving staff, as I had noted it was my partner and I's anniversary, to which they helped us celebrate with a candle on the creme brulee and celebrations from the staff. Our server Lee was truly the best I've ever experienced in a restaurant, keeping a watchful eye over our experience and carrying himself with an air of professionalism and pride I've never had anywhere else. This was a special experience for me, I left happy and most importantly my partner left happy. Special thanks to the staff, this will be my go-to for any occasion of meaning in the future.

Nestled in the vibrant Midtown area of Reno, Brasserie Saint James is a must-visit destination for food and craft beer enthusiasts. This casual eatery, located within the Crystal Springs building, boasts a charming brick decor that adds to its inviting ambiance. Guests can enjoy an array of comfort foods inspired by both European and American cuisines while sipping on handcrafted brews made from top-quality ingredients.
We got the bone marrow canoes. I've never had bone marrow like this. It's was tasty. So buttery and warm and with the sweet bacon. It was delicious. We tried both soups. The French onion was so cheesy. The tomatoe soup was perfect with the toast. The ribeye was cooked to perfect medium. Overall very great experience.

I’ve been going to the Brasserie for 13 years now, menu and business have seen changes through these many years. Some fort the good and some for the bad. The food is still good but the menu is limited. I’m happy to see the addition of Mocktails and that the burger can be further modified with the side. The portobello fries were not too par during the most recent occasion. The atmosphere seemed a bit dull for a Thursday night when people are typically out. The lace still looks great though. I do recommend eating here.

Under new management, this rustic brasserie is a must-visit destination for food lovers and craft beer enthusiasts alike. Recently renovated, the space now features a stunning rooftop patio — perfect for enjoying their impressive micro brew selection while taking in the fresh air and views. Inside, old-world European comfort dishes and American classics are given new life, prepared with the same reverence as their beer. The warm, inviting ambiance and attentive service make it a standout choice for casual nights out or special gatherings. We sampled an incredible spread, starting with bone marrow canoes that were silky, savory perfection, followed by crispy wings, golden fries, and artisan pizza fresh from the oven. The tacos were bursting with flavor, but the highlight was the Southern Flame board — tender picaña, rich Argentinian steak, and smoky blood sausage paired with fried yuca, bright chimichurri, and fiery llajua sauce. With every bite complemented by one of their expertly crafted micro brews, this brasserie proves that its blend of rustic soul and culinary artistry makes it a must-visit destination in town.

My husband and I just wanted to thank the new owners our good friend Selim Scs and Ana Cordova Salas for our beautiful sunset, rooftop, candle light dinner they had for us last night. It was truly magical. The service was great the food was to dye for. The champagne and the views.... Amazing! Thank you for making our 25th anniversary unforgettable.

When we first moved to Reno, Brasserie Saint James was one of the first nice meals we ate and was consistently very good on later visits. We knew about the ownership change, but after a recent meal we have had to write them off for good. The menu has been dumbed down to the point that it's indistinguishable from any other fast casual restaurant. It was unique in the area; now it has pizza and tacos. What was, in my opinion, one of the best burgers in Reno could now be from literally any burger place. A $29 "steak salad" was an under-seasoned somewhat tough steak with an undressed, uninteresting side salad. The Albright Sandwich, once a reliable standby, was also underseasoned and overly bready. The dessert list was straight from US Foods/Sysco. It's still a great space and I hope they can turn the food around.

This is a great restaurant for both beer and food! The ambiance is wonderful, on the rustic side and with a really nice outdoor eating area. Our waitress was very charming and gave excellent recommendations! I really enjoyed the pork with kraut on mashed potatoes. The seafood jambalaya was excellent too! We will definitely go back! Back again and it was great! The Argentine Flank Steak was truly amazing!!

I love this place. Busy Sunday morning, the smells walking in just comfort you. We have come here for over 35 years. We are on the fourth generation asking to go here. We had a short wait and then yum. I ordered a salad, and my granddaughter had the kids pancake plate. We colored their kids' coloring page while waiting. Our breakfast did not disappoint. Their salads are so big. I ate yet when I was full, and I still had a full box to take home. My granddaughter enjoys the honey butter cornbread. We added a take-home order on our meal to finish. Everything was ready to go at the same time. It was fun to watch the different sporting games from our table. It was a very busy restaurant but I felt we had enough to ourselves. Yes, I will keep coming back for another 35 years. 😊🥰

I just moved down the street and was super excited to try this place, unfortunately it was not up to par despite the good reviews I saw online. I went in and ordered to go, took just under 40mins so not the quickest and when I got home to eat I was disappointed in what I saw, the taste was just as disappointing. I ordered the chicken friend steak it had a weird corn meal like textured breading and was overcooked/dry and my potatoes were so over cooked when I took a bite it tasted burnt and some were so bad it was like biting into a crouton. The gravy was gelatinous and the texture was off. I got about 1/4 of the way through and it honestly upset my stomach. The gravy didn't even taste like gravy either, it was spicy and was like eating red chili flake jello. I would not recommend for the pricing because it is far too expensive for the quality by far.
Levi — Google review
The restaurant is a good vibe but the biscuits and gravy look better than they taste. The potatoes were not fully cooked unfortunately. But they definitely got the eggs cooked correctly. It's just my honest opinion that the chicken fried steak was not good. Quite tough. I would go there again though I just know what I would order from there. The corned beef hash with substitute for the potatoes. I would still try lunch and dinner.

The menu features a wide range of classic Thai dishes, with the red roasted pork being a standout favorite. The head chef skillfully combines traditional family recipes with modern twists to deliver an authentic and flavorful dining experience. In addition to the delicious food, Moo Dang also boasts an extensive selection of over 20 craft beers.
An awesome Thai place!!! Went looking for a good thai place while I am in Reno and had this spot recommended to me by a local and the Google reviews looked the best. This place was even better than advertised. I brought my good friend who had spent time living in Thailand and he said this was best thai food he's had in the states. Their thai coffee was legitimately perfect. Nothing, i would say, could be improved. I had the Pad See Ew for my entree and it was delicious. Had a really deep flavor without feeling too heavy or wearing over time. It tasted amazing from the first bite to the last. I'm also glad they didn't give me white people spicy and gave me some legit heat within this dish. My friend had a northern thailand style curry and he loved it as well. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and had everything out in a super timely manner. They could not be better as well!! Awesome place i will be going back to and if you're looking for thai in the area, you won't be disappointed going here!!

Bad customer service didn't make me feel welcome here. It's very hard to get the attention of a waitress after they deliver your initial order. The food is either too spicy or too bland on taste, and they don't give or ask if you want any sort of extra sauce/dip for appetizers. The place is cute, with movie posters all around, in Thai. I don't get why the restaurant has a Spanish name at door.

I’ve always enjoyed Thai food, and Moo Dang has been one of my favorite restaurants in town for a long time. However, during my recent visit, I had an uncomfortable experience. The waitress insisted that I leave a tip, mentioning that “it’s culture here,” which made me feel pressured. In my opinion, tipping should come from genuine appreciation for great service, not from obligation. It’s meant to acknowledge someone’s extra effort or skill, not to be treated as a mandatory practice. Personally, I’d rather show gratitude in other ways, such as offering someone a meal, than being told what I should give. Having worked part-time myself, I understand what it means to earn fairly and take pride in one’s work without expecting more from customers. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively. Thank you!!

Moo Dang is by far the best Thai restaurant in Reno. The food is amazing, full off flavor and love. The staff is super friendly and the place has a unique ambiance. I love their Green Papya Salad, E-san style! Their curries are so amazing. Lots of fresh veggies and a lovely beer selection. The establishment is always clean. Grab a Tshirt! Heartbroken. I get this graze board every Aug 1st. And this is what it is now for $35. It's 1/3 the size of last year and $10 more. I know inflation is a thing but this is insane. 2 pieces of mango, 4 pieces of salami, 2 pieces of prosciutto, mustard, jam, sime old grapes, 3 cheeses with 12 pieces total, and some nuts. I am so sad. This was my annual ritual.

I grew up in Long Beach California and this is the best Baja fish Taco I have had in years bar none. I was treated graciously by the staff while I waited for my dining companion and they even offered me a beer in a fast food joint. It's a fresh air open environment with lots of sun and patio dining regardless of your party size. The taco was crisp not greasy full of flavor and and a "daddy size portion" if you know what I mean. The best part is the prices you get your money's worth on everything.

I had a really good experience. My fish taco was well made, chips were warm and the salsa flavor was great. The place was very slow when I was there so service was good as expected. I'm going back in the future at dinner, hopefully they can keep the same quality of food and service. If they do, then I bump this up to 5 stars.

The Coconut Crunchy Tofu is excellent; my husband loves the burritos. The orange sauce is just delightful with it. The Vegan Street Tacos are also a really great small-bite option that feels a bit lighter. The only thing I wish for was a vegetable or side salad/coleslaw option to add to the plates for a lighter option. But everything is delicious, the location is great, and you can access the beautiful Caulin Ranch park from the driveway. Also, they have patio seating available.

Here is the hidden gem. Add this to your list of good old Reno restaurants that have withstood the test of time!! 25 years since I first discovered it, and still just as good as ever. This place is about customer service and quality fresh food, rather than maximizing corporate profits. That's a hard find these days! Upon walking in I was instantly greeted. The front line worker covered the difference so I wouldn't have to dig for coins in my purse, which was unexpected. Above and beyond. Huge selection. Great variety. Great drinks and craft selection. Fresh quality food and it was served in a timely fashion. 👌 Fair prices. Not one single complaint.

The place is very nice and so are the people that work there but the food is very bland the salsa was watery no flavor at all. It just was not worth what I paid for it 50$ for three tacos four piece of shrimp and some chicken tenders. You get four piece of shrimp for 11$ I thought that was just crazy all in all the shrimp was the best thing I order and that was only because of the sauce it came with because in my opinion they were overcooked. disappointed with the food and the price. Just wasn’t worth it and the fish tacos were dry. At least I know not to go back.

Nestled in the vibrant Midtown District of Reno, Calafuria is a charming Italian restaurant that captures the essence of Tuscany with its delightful menu. Housed in a historic brick building, this cozy eatery offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by a lovely backyard space. The culinary creations here are crafted using locally sourced ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality in every bite.
Came for dinner with a group of friends. We were sat on the side patio a little before sunset. There were supposed to be lights that automatically turn on at dusk, but for some reason didn't, so the end of our meal was mostly dark. Thankfully staff brought some lamps to have on our table. Service was very good throughout dinner. Overall the food was very good, and the portions were just right. The Ceasar was good, though could have used a little more dressing as it was a little dry. An offer of fresh cracked pepper would have been appreciated, but I was able to use some preground that was on the table. My wife ordered the ribeye and it was cooked, as she asked, to the perfect rare temperature. The carbonara was made well. I'd been wanting to come here for a while and finally did, and I was every bit as happy and impressed as I thought I would be. I'll definitely be returning to try some other dishes I was eyeing.

This is a great experience in midtown Reno. Tucked away off S. Virginia, this house turned restaurant is worth it. My wife had a perfectly cooked salmon. Light fluffy and medium well done. I had beef dish that was on special. It was delicious. It didn’t have the “wow” factor that the salmon did, but the flavor was great. We also had the olives and the bruschetta for starters. Both really good. I think next time we’ll try a few more starters, split a pasta (which looked amazing on other people’s tables), and a main. Then save room for dessert, which we didn’t have, but also looked worth the effort. All in all, a great place with wonderful staff, solid food offerings, and a cozy home vibe.
Matthew K — Google review
Tucked inside a lovingly preserved 1920s home on a quiet street in downtown Reno, Calafuria is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to linger until the chairs go up and the busboys start sweeping around your feet. From the moment my wife and I stepped through the door, we felt like we were walking into a friend’s house—a friend who just happened to have converted the back half of their home into a full-size, open kitchen. We were intrigued by the chef’s backstory: an American, classically trained in Italy, who staged at the world-famous Noma in Copenhagen, opened a restaurant in Calafuria, Italy, and then returned home to Reno to share the wealth of his culinary travels. We started light with the Caprese salad—a bit of a surprise to see cherry tomatoes where I would have expected beefsteak or San Marzano. But their sweetness perfectly balanced the mini mozzarella balls and basil chiffonnade, all drizzled with just enough balsamic and EVOO to remind you that restraint is its own art form. For our main course, we shared the Fettuccine Carbonara (homemade fettuccine, naturally) and the Ribeye with house smashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Here’s where the quality truly came through. The ribeye was perfectly cooked—arguably the most tender cut of meat I’ve had in recent memory. A simple pepper sauce paired beautifully with the carbonara’s creamy, peppery flavors. And to be clear, this was real carbonara—no cream here. Just the luxurious silkiness of egg yolks binding pecorino, guanciale, and pasta into an unforgettable bite. The roasted bell pepper, zucchini, and Vidalia onion medley added another layer of sweetness, tying the primi and secondi together like a Tuscan sunset. Service was impeccable: warm, attentive, and never intrusive. Our server guided us through the menu with the ease of someone who clearly loves the food as much as the chef does. Calafuria isn’t just dinner—it’s transportive. A place where you can almost hear the waves of the Tyrrhenian coast in one bite and feel the discipline of a Noma kitchen in the next. Perhaps that’s the magic of this place: a quiet meritage of two culinary worlds, where French Laundry meets Noma, in the most unexpected corner of Reno.

Pretty disappointed with our service last night. Our waitress seemed annoyed from the second we walked in. Im happy to wait for good food but to be waiting on a server to even get our order on a relatively slow night in a very small restaurant is frustrating. After waiting for hours for dinner service to be complete, our server again disappeared when we were ready for the check. Food & drinks were great though as always.

I am so mightily impressed with Calafuria, I felt compelled to write this review. I had the pleasure of meeting a member of the staff, twice, and after my discussions with her, my wife and I decided to try out Calafuria for a weekend dinner date. WOW. HOLY WOW. I think this may have been the best dining experience we have had since we moved here in 2018. The bottled water was a GREAT, European, first sensation and experience. The food selection was absolutely perfect, and since Calafuria is a Coastal Region in Italy, we were both fine with the seafood-centric collection. We ordered, and drank a Tuscan Red just because, while we waited for the courses to come out. First up was the Caprese salad. FRESH Mozzarella, imported daily from Italy, along with REAL Italian olive oil, which had that just-opened effervescence and light, light taste. We literally licked the plate clean. Then came the pasta. We ordered the squid ink, and it was freakin' divine. My wife had never tasted sauce with squid ink, and she's not overly adventurous, but again - we split the dish and ate every morsel. Finally? My scallops and shrimp. Again - spiced JUST RIGHT, cooked JUST RIGHT, and the scallops literally melted in your mouth. I have to say - the entire concept of the restaurant is cool. The kitchen is accessible, the indoor-outdoor table count is just right for the staff, and you all focused on putting us in the shade, to offset the July heat. Furthermore, I LOVE the vines around the fence and up the front of the building. It keeps things private, but allows you to see the world passing by. It felt VERY authentic, and it was a wonderful experience. I collected some 3x5's from the front to pass around to friends; We were that impressed. We'll be bringing family and friends with us in future visits, for sure. OH - and the 'not every night' thing? Honestly, I wish there were MORE restaurants like that. It keeps staff from going crazy, and puts the Restauratuer in charge of quality and presentation. So thank you - our 11th anniversary couldn't have gone better. Y'all have something unique and magical, and I can't wait for some of your classes and the speakeasy to kick in so we can learn as you share a bit of your magic.

I've been here several times. The first time I went by myself, excited by the prospect of fresh handmade pasta in town. The subsequent times, I had to be dragged against my will by friends. The amount of arrogance and pretension going on in this building is off the charts. Like others, I have been served dishes at Califuria that were absolutely disgusting - so salty it burns the mouth, pasta so undercooked it crunches in the teeth - only to be told to go pound sand when we sent it back. This feels like a 20-something chef watched a YouTube tutorial on how to make pasta and then grew an enormous ego, despite the fact that he never actually learned how to make it correctly. Anything beyond the pasta, which I have found to be consistently poorly made, is Sysco and US Foods slop with prices hiked up into the stratosphere to convince undiscerning boomers that they're not eating trash. They are, though. Califuria is trash.

Batch Cupcakery is a strip-mall bakery that specializes in selling organic cupcakes. They offer a variety of flavors, including options that are vegan, gluten-free, and paleo. This means that everyone can find a cupcake to suit their dietary preferences. Some unique flavors they offer include chocolate chip cookie dough, marshmallow cream frosting, and pistachio. Conveniently located next to Great Full Gardens, this non-GMO bakery also sells vegan goods like cookies and brownies.
I had the gluten free chocolate cupcake with dairy free chocolate ganache, and it was the best I've ever had! Moist but not too sweet, the cupcake held together beautifully with each bite! My husband said he really enjoyed his regular chocolate cupcake with cherry filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. It was moist and not too sweet. The staff that answered the phone, I called ahead to make sure there were still gluten free cupcakes available, and the staff at the counter were friendly and very helpful. Batch is my new place to go for a gluten free dairy free treat!

The pastries are hit and miss. The cupcakes are flavorless while the cookies are good. We bought some other goodies from the buckets that were either great or okay. Seeing as how it's a cupcakery, their cakes should be on point. But the flavor is missing. You should be able to tell the difference between a vanilla cupcake and a strawberry one, but they taste the same. The chocolate cake is alright.

This is a great place for sweet treats for everyone! I took a variety of gluten free cupcakes to the office and told no one they were gluten free. The cupcakes and cookies were well received and gobbled up. People were shocked when I told them afterwards they were GF! I highly recommend the gluten free peanut butter cookie. AMAZING!

If you need to eat gluten free… this is the place to be. The texture of the gluten free cupcakes is so moist and they’re so flavorful, drastically different than any other gluten free baked good I’ve tried post-gluten intolerance! 12/10 since I walked in with company assuming I couldn’t get anything, and didn’t even have to pay an extra fee per usual.
Pearl P — Google review
The cupcake was pretty good, yummy and moist. But not a big selection for gluten free, only four different kinds. And this is how much I had in my latte cup BEFORE drinking it. UPDATE: You can order gluten free cupcakes ahead of time and I am excited to do so. The ones I had were delicious.

Incredible local bakery. I’ve always enjoyed whatever I’ve had from Batch but since my son’s recent diagnosis of a gluten sensitivity I’ve come to appreciate their unique offerings even more. If you or someone you love is gluten-free, paleo or vegan, you really should check out Batch and try like everything! 😊

Tea house

If you're a tea enthusiast or just someone looking for a cozy spot to unwind, Too Soul Tea Co. in Reno is an absolute gem! Tucked away at 542 1/2 Plumas St, this charming teahouse offers an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. With over 100 varieties of specialty teas and herbal blends, including unique options like Matcha and Yerba Mate, there's something for everyone.
This place is my new favorite. Right out of the gate, Morgan took the time to explain the menu and answer my many (and probably annoying, let's be real) questions. They have an incredible selection of all sorts of teas. I'm a fan of oolongs, and she hooked me up with the Magnolia Oolong. Phenomenal. If you order a pot, they include a re-steep, which is great as someone who usually does multiple steeps at home. They are highly knowledgeable and take great care in their brewing times and temperatures. They offer loose leaf teas for sale and offer refillable tins. Discounts for bringing your own mug and for UNR students! They also offer many house blends and fruity offerings, which I have not yet had the pleasure of trying. If you are on the lookout for high-quality loose leaf teas, for a great price, brewed by people who give a damn, then you have to check out Too Soul!

Great place to get freshly brewed tea. The ladies running the shop was very knowledgeable in teas and help select a flavor for us to try. They brewed them quickly and we were drinking fresh teas within a couple minutes. We will stop by again next time we are visiting Reno.
Doua M — Google review
The tea was actually surprisingly well brewed at the right temperature. The only problem I had was with the price. for two small/medium regular ice teas it came to over $13 . No bells or whistles just regular tea. Other than that they have a nice selection.
Rosa L — Google review
This lil shop never fails. They have amazing service even when busy. And the best tea selection in town. You can even buy a selection of tea to take home with you. As well as some locally made goods and treat. Y'all rock <3
Jessika M — Google review
My favorite shop ever. Im OBSESSED. My only complaint is I worry their prices are too low and they’ll go out of business. So GIVE THEM ALL YOUR MONEY I want them to stay open forever. Looseaf teas are cheaper than you’ll find anywhere else and in a broader selection, barristas (?) are super knowledgeable and helpful in selection, and their hot/cold drinks are to die for.
Elizabeth N — Google review
I freakin' love Too Soul Tea! They are my comfort spot in all of Reno and brew the tastiest teas for real! Every time I visit, the employees are kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They have great quality loose leaf teas and so much variety on the menu that I still haven't tried them all! Growing up, I had Teavana to turn to for teas like this, but I feel so much better contributing to a local business that really does put "soul" into their product over a Starbucks subsidiary. I even buy a tin of my new favorite to brew at home every year on my birthday. They also have mother of macros treats and a stamp card that after 10 purchases, your next tea is free! I recommend: Creme Brulee Black, Vanilla Roobios, Spiced Chai, Santa's Sugar Cookies, and Strawberry Colada.
CrimsonLove187 — Google review
First of all, walking into this place smells divine. I'm not a huge tea person but have always loved a good matcha latte. After coming here I realized I should probably be finding more fresh tea leaves rather than tea bags - this place smells that good. I got a coconut matcha latte and it is delicious. Fragrant and subtle notes of coconut with the matcha with the perfect amount of sweetness. My new favorite matcha place in town. Mmm.

Fantastic food and super friendly staff! Fresh food stand outside, dunno if they are connected but that was cool.

They have expanded since I was last here. They still have great bread and baked goods. We had a cinnamon roll and a breakfast sandwich. It was a good amount to share for two. The biscuit was a little dry but everything else made up for it. It's always worth a trip here and the quiches look phenomenal. We have to come back for those

This place is awesome. It has amazing homemade pastries and bread. It also has homemade sandwiches, soups, and salads. I decided to get a Caesars salad with a cappuccino. The Caesars was covered with chicken and a perfect blend of Parmesan cheese dressing and homemade croutons. I will definitely be back.

This was my first visit to this cute Bakery. They had so many options for a morning snack that my daughter and I didn't know what to get. We asked jokingly if they had a sample platter. The extremely helpful and most positively happy lady working the counter offered us samples of pumpkin bread and herb bread, the pumpkin was so soft and had nice pumpkin and spice flavors, I declined the herb bread as I feared I would fill up on samples. We kept looking and my daughter found her Nutella cinnamon roll, I opted for a breakfast sandwich on jalapeño cheese bread. But, before we got our orders we were talking with both ladies that were working and they insisted I try the fresh sourdough bread. Now, if you are looking for a store bought flavor you are in the wrong place. This bread was soft and so obviously freshly baked and absolutely delicious. My sandwich was huge and also delicious. We loved this experience. Not only was everything we tried amazing so were the lovely ladies that worked there. They were so upbeat and exuded positive energy. They were informative and attentive to everyone in the store. Outstanding customer service, that's something you don't see a lot these days. And outstanding products. 10 out of 10! Thank you!!!
Jennifer S — Google review
I found House of Bread to be a bit of a quandary. It is a bakery/sandwich shop but there were very few baked goods on display and not all of the sandwiches were advertised on the menu board. There were maybe 8 to 10 pastries displayed not many cookies and very few loaves of bread. I had to asked if they had breakfast sandwiches. The baked goods were good to very good. The breakfast croissant was very good but a little light on ham and too heavy on the cheese.
Bradley N — Google review
I asked about coffee choices and availability, and 3 different employees blew me off. I got the berry oatmeal bar (delicious and not too sweet) and a canned coke. If it wasn't for the fact it was the second place I'd tried to sit and have a convo with a friend (the first the ac was broken and hotter inside than out) i would have moved on.
Violet H — Google review
Cute shop where everything is made fresh daily. Verry tasty pastries! Large selection. Was very hard to choose! Ample seating inside and outside. Was cordially welcomed as we entered and was given explanations of pastries and even samples!
Lacreta C — Google review
We were not greeted on the way in, and it was unclear how or where to order. When I said I'd never been there before and didn't know where to order they told me I could order at the counter and they would bring it out to us at a table. The lady who was taking our order seemed irritated when I asked her about some of the ingredients. When the coffees finally came out, after we had already received our food, they were lukewarm at best. I'm really surprised after such good reviews that we had such a bad experience.

Mexcal is a vibrant restaurant in Midtown that offers a relaxed atmosphere and serves up an array of tacos, tostadas, along with an impressive selection of beer and margaritas. The establishment has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Their specialty margaritas, such as the pineapple jalapeno margarita, are particularly popular for their unique sweet and spicy flavors.
Amazing and delicious tacos! I love their new spicy lamb taco. This has a great spicy kick to it. They aren't joking when they say it is SPICY! But I enjoy the spice. The Lengua Taco is a must every time now. They cook it so perfectly l, it is tender and full of flavor! Their quesabirria taco is also pretty dang good. You can't really go wrong . Their portion sizes are great for the prices you're paying. Service can vary. Sometimes they are super quick sometimes they seem to take a bit longer to take your order. It's definitely a must try. Their Pineapple Jalapeno margarita is also very delicious!

Really enjoyed their crispy chicken tacos. It’s a generous size. José was super attentive and high energy. Love that they have an outdoor patio here. It’s one of my past time to enjoy chips and salsa outdoors really robust menu for cocktails. I ordered the guava cocktail and while it was a little sweet in my opinion was still very delicious. Highly recommend this placefor your Tex-Mex authentic high-end fix will be back.

Recommended by friends who live in the area. Stopped to have dinner while on the road from California to Reno to South Lake Tahoe. The server was professional and provided suggestions. Ordered asada tacos, which were prepared with veggies and a generous heaping of protein. Salsa was delicious. Ordered the jalapeño margarita that provided a kick of spice and was well prepared. I would recommend this eatery to others and will definitely visit again when I'm in the Reno area.

First of all…service was amazingly phenomenal! Jose was kind, fun and efficient with the timing. My favorite cocktail was the coconut one..if you like coconut. It’s cold, refreshing and has pieces of coconut around the rim and in the drink. Jose brought out chips with guacamole and salsa. The chips were fresh and crispy and the dips were delicious! I had to asked for more chips. Their quesabirria was the hit of the night! The taco shell is so flavorful in the beef stew. Inside was filled with cheese and shredded beef. I have had quesabirria but this…it is out of the world!!!! Pair it with their dipping sauce…mmmmmm sooo freaking good! The duck taco was different. It was my first time. Has pepper and a little dry for me but drizzle the birria sauce over to add nice flavors. I also had lengua (beef tongue) tacos. This was very very good. The meat is tender and so rich in flavorful. Gotta fair it was spicy salsa and birria sauce. I was dancing in my chair with these tacos! Can’t finish the night without dessert. Their churros were served warm alongside melted gooey dark chocolate and whipped cream. The crust is crispy and sweet sugary cinnamon taste. Inside is so soft and warm. The tres leches was moist and delicious (not too sweet). This restaurant has a cute patio and they play good music too!

Fusion restaurant
Asian fusion restaurant
Cocktail bar
Nestled in the vibrant Midtown area of Reno, Arario Midtown is a delightful eatery that beautifully marries traditional Korean flavors with innovative fusion cuisine. The name "Arario," which translates to "great heavenly energy" in Korean, truly reflects the culinary magic that unfolds within its warmly-lit space. Since its inception as a food truck by owners TJ and Hani Cho in 2016, this restaurant has blossomed into a beloved destination for both locals and visitors alike.
We were in town on a girls trip when we saw a YouTube video recommending this place so we thought we might try it out. It was the best decision we made the entire weekend!! We tried to edamame with garlic and Parmesan and also the Kimchi fries. DELICIOUS! We also had drinks recommended by our server that were phenomenal, saketini and dragon punch. It was such a cute space and the service was excellent. If you’re in the area give it a try. You won’t regret it.
Teleasa M — Google review
The staff are friendly, service was great. The lady who served me was very bubbly and friendly. Love that so much. Atmosphere was ok, restaurant is a little crammed in a tight space. I have always been skeptical of modernized or fusion dishes of Asian food, I grew up eating my family’s and friend’s dishes which were made traditionally and good. If it ain’t broken don’t change it. I’ve had restaurants who have opened up my idea and taste buds on fusion foods and modernized Asian food. The dishes served to me at Arario didn’t quite make me more delighted to try more fusion Asian dishes. If anything it’s made me want to make my own bulgogi at home after eating what I ate. I had ordered bulgogi pasta and it tasted like water bland beef pasta. In theory I thought this would be perfect since I love pasta and bulgogi, the blend of the two just doesn’t work well together at all. The poke salad, was just what I should’ve suspected greens and poke. Dessert and cocktails were probably the BEST thing I ate there. I don’t think I’ve been to a restaurant where I said the dessert and cocktails were my favorite. Fusion has been used a sloppy word in culinary and has been used to describe a chef who opens a restaurant and hasn’t mastered culinary skills in both. I didn’t like the Korean or American aspect of any dish served to me today.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday today and had such a wonderful experience! The server was friendly and quick, the food was delicious, and the place was spotless. They even sang a birthday song for my husband, which made the day extra special. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Juliene — Google review
We came here because of the good reviews even though I'm generally not a fan of Asian fusion (grew up in and travel extensively to Asia), and I was very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the beef bulgogi fusion and the classic hot pot beef bulgogi, and I really liked both. The fusion was very well done -- it wasn't trying to taste like the original version, but added a good, complimentary twist to it. The hot pot bowl was also really nice, comforting, and authentic. We'll definitely come back to try the other dishes next time. The only thing that could be improved was the service - we must've asked for our drinks (sodas) 3 times, and utensils the same - the server seemed very frazzled and absent minded despite the place being pretty empty at the time we went.

One of THE BEST Korean fusion restaurants we have ever experienced!! We had their Edamame, Sweet & Spicy K Sauce Chicken Wings, Gambas Al Ajillo & the Beef Bulgogi Bowl... absolutely INCREDIBLE flavors, heat & foodie fun with great prices!!! Thanks so much for making my 2-week work + fun stay so memorable! We'll be back the next time we're in Reno!!
Jeff M — Google review
Our experience at Arario was great! I'm glad that we made a reservation for Friday night because the restaurant was very full. We got seated right away, which was nice. Parking is an issue in the area because you have to find street parking so make sure to get there with enough time to make your reservation. The server was nice and friendly. The ambiance is chic casual so whether you are dressed for a night out or in hiking clothes (like we were), you won't be out of place. We ordered a Sapporo and a German Reisling for drinks. They have cocktails but I thought they were a tiny bit overpriced for cocktails. For food, we ordered the fried mackerel as an appetizer and the Ikaika bowl and the traditional beef bulgogi. The food came out pretty quickly and the portions are big. The mackerel was different and interesting. It was fried but the meat was still soft. There were small bones but easy to eat. I liked the crunch skin but my husband thought it was bitter. At times, it got tough after chewing a bit, so I'd say it wasn't perfect. The dressing that came with it was soy based and added a layer of sweetness. If you're in the mood to try something different, I'd give this a go. The Ikaika bowl was our favorite. They say it their version of a loco moco. It was very very good! The beef patty was medium well and came with a fried egg (sunny side up), black bean gravy, crunchy veggies, pita chips on a bed of rice. I should've asked for the egg to be scrambled because I hate runny yolk. But despite that, this dish was yummy. I think it needed a little more seasoning (salt) than it had. Once mixed, the gravy, the veggies, the chips and the meat really added texture to the rice. Since the portion was huge, we ended making a brunch out of the leftovers the next day. The traditional bulgogi was decent. They gave the rice separately. The beef itself was good but the rest of the dish needed a wow factor for seasoning. The portion was also quite big and we ended up adding this to our brunch the next day with the ikaika. The table accompaniments - Mac and cheese, sweet black beans, pickled cucumbers, kimchi were very Americanized. The kimchi was not as zingy as we would like. I hated that the black beans were sweet, because a savory flavor would've added a new taste texture to our food overall. I think for the portions, the prices are ok, but this restaurant is a little on the pricier side. It is worth a try for sure!
Pranjali S — Google review
There’s no words to describe the food and service but to give 💯 the food is amazing delicious and I can visualize as if I was in Korea. The seasoning is just right and I just love everything about the flavors. Pair it with a refreshing ice drink while sitting on the patio and vibing is a plus. The waitress is very kind, friendly and genuine.

Bighorn should be on your list to visit. I'm so glad my friend brought me there. The place is fun, lively, with friendly and attentive waitstaff. I asked for a fruity beverage with pineapple and coconut, and they came out with a delicious pretty drink that I wished I took a photo to show you. I had the quinoa salad, which was a delightful surprise with tasty tiny cubes of sweet potato. I did not add the protein options because I ordered the pork street tacos. It was so tasty I'd order it again. I enjoyed my dining experience so much I tried them for breakfast the next day and had the Bighorn with bacon (sausage is available) and an English muffin. Overall the food is delicious, the service is great, and the price is very reasonable. It's not the typical place I'd go so I'm glad I had someone to hip me on to this place.

I ordered onions and a pulled pork sandwich which came with fries. The onion rings were beer battered. However, the batter was like a cake donut. The fries advertised as fresh cut were fried once, not twice. When frying fresh cut potatoes they need to be fried once to cook the potatoes and a second time to crisp them. These fries were sad and were served with a sizable chunk of burnt onion ring batter. The pulled pork tasted great, though the bun was so soft to the touch, I couldn't hold it without dough sticking to my fingers. Throughout my experience, my waiter was overwhelmed and never gave me a set-up (fork & knife). Bighorn won't get a second chance.

Great food, lots of TVs for sports, and friendly service. I don't often see scotch egg on a menu, and it was decent although not the traditional preparation of fried whole with a soft yolk, but rather cut in half prior to frying. The burgers were really good - sizable patty with nice beef flavor, and plenty of fresh toppings. Fries are good, nice and crispy, and the vinaigrette on my salad was quite tasty. I can see why this is a popular locals spot, and it's a great choice to grab some grub while watching a game.

It's a favorite local spot for catching games, with plenty of TVs and casual seating. The menu features burgers, sandwiches, wings, and comfort-food classics, all served in generous portions. Staff are welcoming, and service is generally fast. Great for laid-back dining, happy hour, or meeting friends for drinks.

Service was amazing, the strawberry margaritas were delicious. But the food wasn't as good as i hoped...my burger was so bland it had no flavor, the housemade pickles still tasted like cucumbers, the garlic parmeasan fries were so oily they were practically wet, and the beer batter on my onion rings was so thick and the flavor tasted like they fried them in the same oil as fish.. the buffalo wings were very good though, I loved those.

Disappointing Experience -- Won't Be Back. Three of us stopped by Bighorn Tavern on Lakeside Drive to enjoy what we thought would be a nice happy hour and dinner. We arrived before 6:00 PM and were seated promptly. Our server, Emily, came to take our order at 5:57 PM -- still clearly within the advertised happy hour window of 3:00 to 6:00 PM. To our surprise, Emily informed us that she would not honor happy hour prices, even though it was clearly before 6:00 PM. All three of us were frustrated by her dismissive attitude. Rather than argue over principle, we simply got up and left -- and we're glad we did. We ended up going to the Texas Roadhouse, where we were warmly welcomed, enjoyed delicious food, excellent service, and drinks without any drama. We spent $98.00 there and happily tipped our attentive server $20. As for Bighorn Tavern -- poor Emily lost out. A simple gesture of honoring your own posted hours would have made the difference between gaining loyal customers and earning this one-star review. If your staff can't honor your own promotions, you're going to keep losing business from locals. Won't be back.

Tucked away with the unassuming charm of a well-kept secret, Belleville Wine Bar is a gem of quiet sophistication. Its cozy, intimate ambiance invites guests to linger, glass in hand, as if they’ve stumbled upon a favorite Parisian haunt, only closer to home. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, expansive without being overwhelming, and pairs exquisitely with an impressive selection of charcuterie. But it’s the menu’s unexpected indulgences that elevate the experience: fresh lobster rolls, a refined smoked salmon tartine, king crab legs, and oysters on the half shell, all prepared with an attention to detail that speaks volumes of the kitchen’s quiet artistry. Service is as warm and attentive as the setting, striking that rare balance between graciousness and ease. In short, Belleville Wine Bar is not merely recommended. It’s a place to return to, again and again.

I accidentally found this place. We were looking for a restaurant nearby and happen to walk in the door. Dustin greeted us and kindly directed us to our actual destination. But the delightful atmosphere had drawn us back. We had only intended on a glass of wine and leave. But we were pulled in by the great staff and selection. Dustin, Dave and James all were so personable and knowledgeable. We ended up staying for about 3 hours sampling wine and left with 2 bottles. Date night was made so perfect due to the amazing experience we got to have.

Ahh what a special place in Reno. I was visiting from the bayarea and it blew my socks off. The wine selection is superb and has many appetizers and entrees that are delightful. I ordered the anchovy, salmon, and lobster roll. The anchovy was smooth creamy and melted in your mouth. Hardly any saltiness to it. Magnificent. We had foie gras which was excellent. We had a French triple cream and a hard italian cheese. Paired wonderful with our Kir Royale and wine selection. It is so refreshing to see such an array of wine selections in Reno by the glass outside of the US. It was 💯 percent memorable. Don't miss out on this gem. And for the love of food and wine, Reno, don't let this place close! A votre sante!

Wow. What a great find. We didn't have food as we ate next door but we had a good time. Seriously one of the best experiences I've had at a wine bar. If it wasn't for the staff we were only planning on having a single glass of wine. The staff really blew us away and we stayed for over 3 hours. The drinks, wow again. The staff will point you in the right direction and give you wine you will enjoy. We will be back. Thank you Dustin, Dave, and James.

Best wine bar in Reno!!! Food and wines are all top notch and makes you feel like your in Provence. Nico is such a wonderful host and makes you feel so welcome. His knowledge of food and wines are amazing. Definitely try all the imported treats he brings in from France to take home with you.

Lunch restaurant
Peg’s Glorified Ham N Eggs is a family-owned diner that has been serving American breakfast and lunch since 1999. With multiple locations in Northern Nevada and California, it has been named the Best Breakfast in Reno for 12 years. The menu features a variety of hearty dishes including eight types of eggs benedicts, pancakes, sandwiches, and other tasty items.
Bestest breakfast ever! It was like Peg made it herself just for me. We ordered a few items not realizing each would be large portion. Ham and cheese omelette with hash browns and sourdough toast, biscuit and gravy, side of bacon, and a pancake. Each had a distinctly delicious flavor! Not like the other places where all the dishes taste the same as each other. The biscuit was so fluffy that I had to take a picture of the inside. We had a cozy two seat table with hot chocolate and fresh steaming coffee. Our server was nice and attentive, returning to the table multiple times to check on us. People were still coming in just before closing time on a weekday. I love the food and can’t wait to go back for the seasonal pumpkin pancakes. Peg’s is by far an exceptional restaurant. Sufficient parking, more close by in the next lot, same shopping plaza.

We love to gobto Pegs when in town. This one is our favorite location. The staff are always friendly(actually every location the Pegs staff is friendly.) Thee place is always clean and the food is always always amazing. We never have any complaints. We walked in and someone was ready to seat us.

Great ambience place to come and it's close to all the hospitals so you can have some breakfast, lunch. It it sure beats hospital food

Peg's Glorified Ham & Eggs in South Reno is a must-visit for anyone craving a classic American breakfast. With its friendly service and delicious food, it's no wonder this spot has been a local favorite for years. I've been a regular at Peg's for quite some time, and I always leave satisfied. The Denver omelette, minus the onions and with a side of avocado, is my go-to. It's always cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, so be prepared to leave feeling full. While parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, it's usually manageable. The overall atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. If you're in South Reno, be sure to stop by Peg's Glorified Ham & Eggs. You won't be disappointed!

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. One standout feature of Peg’s is its menu variety, catering to all breakfast lovers. A personal favorite is the “Build Your Own Omelette” option. This customizable dish allows diners to choose from an array of fresh ingredients, resulting in an omelette tailored to your exact taste. Paired with their crispy and golden hashbrowns, it’s a dish that never disappoints. For those with a sweet tooth, the French toast and pancakes are exceptional choices, offering a perfect balance of fluffiness and flavor. The biscuits and gravy, another crowd favorite, are rich, hearty, and simply irresistible. Beyond the food, the environment at Peg’s is warm and inviting. The staff are consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to providing top-notch service. Their hospitality enhances the dining experience and makes every visit feel like a treat. After a 27 min wait (were told 15), we were seated at a table with remnants of dried jam from previous diners. We ordered a standard 2 eggs/bacon(extra crispy) breakfast with toast, and French toast with a side of 2 eggs and bacon (extra crispy). After about 20-25 minutes, our food arrived, and had obviously been sitting on the pass for awhile. All of the eggs were cooked properly but were cold. The side of bacon I ordered with my french toast consisted of 1 whole piece (slightly crispy) and 1 half piece of mediocre room-temperature bacon. I asked the waitress for the other half of my piece of bacon and she seemed to take it as a personal offense. She brought me another piece of cold rubbery bacon and then ignored our table for the rest of our meal, other than to bring the check. My french toast had been cooling on the pass and tasted like it had been cooked earlier and reheated, and had a rubbery feel. The single piece of sour dough bread was stale and not suitable as toast (maybe it's the old sandwich bread they're trying to use up). The 4 pieces of bacon my dining partner ordered spanned the spectrum of rubbery and limp to crunchy. Zero seasoning on the eggs and the food was not even good enough to finish, so we each left about half of our meal. I went to pay at the front counter and was simply told the amount. The hostess did not ask how our meal was, did not thank us for our business, and did not offer pleasantries of any kind, she only asked if I wanted a receipt copy. This is the third time I have eaten here, and each time has been progressively worse, this time definitely being a dismal showing. We won't be back to spend $40 on a simple breakfast worth less than half the price. I've had better service and food at a Waffle House or Denny's. The name is perfect, as "Glorified" is defined as "something that has been made glorious, honored, or praised excessively, often to a degree that exaggerates its true importance or splendor"...a fitting name for this overrated Reno eatery

Had breakfast here. Peglet omelet was very good. They don’t tell you but it’s at least 3 eggs. Lots of cheese and ham. Unlimited toast is a nice add but I couldn’t finish the main anyway. My wife had the French toast. Also excellent

Pignic Pub & Patio is a unique grill restaurant and sports bar located in Downtown Reno. The concept revolves around the idea of bringing your own meat or veggies to grill on the outdoor community grill-yard patio and deck, creating a relaxed and communal atmosphere reminiscent of backyard gatherings with friends and family.
A bar that welcomes dogs has a great drink selection, including seasonal cocktails, beer on tap, welcoming (dog-friendly) staff, and food!

In town for the Strange Brewfest and wanted to load up on food before arriving. Unfortunately we arrived at noon and the kitchen didn’t open until til 2. Not sure if this is the normal kitchen times for a Saturday or if it was due to a sick call. Had a beer before leaving for a nearby bbq restaurant. I had heard great things about their menu, so I was disappointed. But there will be other trips to Reno and other opportunities to try Pignic. They do have an amazing variety of oddball smoothie sours in cans. Outdoor patio area is nice. Inside is not your normal restaurant vibe, which really adds to the personality and charm. Staff was super friendly.

Perfect stop for a chill afternoon drink! The patio was shaded and the fans lightly misted to keep you cool. There was a great selection of draft beers and friendly staff greet you when you walk in to what almost appears to be someone’s home converted into a bar. So eclectic and fun!

Great place to chill. We were visiting from out of town, but wanted a local place that wasn’t a casino. Ended up here, watched some college football, had great food and a decent selection of draft craft beers! Highly recommend!

Great lively bar. Came here after a bad experience at nearby bar brewers cabinet. This placed rocked. The servers were friendly and helpful. We all had a great time here. Drinks were delicious. I like that you can bring your own meat to grill here. There is also a food truck on site if you get hungry. Will definitely come back here.

Really enjoyed the food here. The flavors are quite pleasing the millions of salivating taste buds. The beer selection is not bad...too many flavor beers for me, but I still was able to find one I wanted to try. We sat outside under the protection of the umbrella on a warm Fall day. Dogs were plentiful...even ours found a friend to sniff. All in all it was delectable.

The bar also offers a delicious food menu, with their specialty being the mouthwatering Royce cheeseburger. You can also indulge in perfectly toasted grilled cheese sandwiches or snacks from the neighboring Old Granite Street Eatery.

Really good smash burger with properly crispy edges- the green chili burger. I upgraded to the superbly seasoned fries and fry sauce. With a draft Mexican lager, a great experience. Sitting outside was nice this evening. I waited about a half hour to get my food, and it was entirely worth it!

Walked in with friends. Easy to find a seat. You have to order at the bar. Sometimes there is a long wait for your food. We had drinks while we waited. The food was delicious! Only thing is, the patties are a little small. Overall, a great experience!

Such a great burger place! Their burgers are variable cooked, creatively flavored. Their fries are shoestring fries which are deliciously seasoned. They have a fantastic selection of liquor and their old fashioned is very yummy. Dog-friendly, outdoor seating, great patio with some shade.

Royce has the vibes that modern dive bars think they have, burgers that bring joy, and bar staff that wrap the whole thing together with a bow and beer. It's a bar with crazy good burgers and I think that's all you need to know.
Owen L — Google review
So I searched for the best burger in Reno. This is one of the locations that came up. Since I have never tried it, I thought I would give it a shot. The burger was okay. The fries pretty good. However the service was not very good. They have no table service and i'm not sure what I tipped for since I had a bus my own table.
William B — Google review
Hey, I realized after I left that I hadn't closed out, and we just left. How can I make sure you guys got what was owed? Anyways, on to my review: The atmosphere of the place is what draws you in. I was thinking about how to describe it, and it's just cool! Small, focus on the bar on the inside. Comfortable stool-seated patio seating, too, which we chose. The music playing was awesome, too. Not your usual "hit of every year" playing, but a unique soundtrack of lesser-known r&b. Friendly staff and great food & prices. My wife had the royce burger, and I had the bbq burger. Both had two patties each and tasted just great. Well seasoned and very juicy burgers. Fries are really amazing. Try them, you must. . We also got the rib appetizers. They're pork belly and really...REALLY awesome. My wife had a drink called the Royce Refresher. I don't drink, but she said it too was really....REALLY awesome. Anyways, thanks for the great experience for us out-of-towners!

We went here pretty late at night and was one of the options still open in Reno City. The food was good and a bit spicy. We ordered one of Tofu rice which was on the dry side having rice and tofu with no gravy to accompany but a sauce instead with some salad. TomYum noodles instead had gravy in the dish and was tasty and spicy. We ended up mixing rice with it. Good service and polite staff eager to help the customers.

The interior is definitely very cute and modern. Even though it’s our first time here, we could tell there were quite a couple of regulars in the restaurant. We liked what we have ordered overall. I really enjoyed the garlic sauce for the chicken rice I ordered. The only thing I like a bit less would definitely be the takeaway boxes they use even though we were dining in…

Went for the hot pots on Wednesday night and had an awesome time. In our group of four I was the only vegetarian, but it worked nice because they can split the pot so you can cook different things/do different broth. I loved it because it’s more of a novel dining experience and very much family style/social. Happy to see Reno is finally getting some more experience based dining. The spicy broth had a pretty solid kick to it and was very tasty. Overall we all had an amazing time and would definitely be back, and super want to do their tea time on Sundays!

Definitely the best dimsum I’ve had in town! We used to have to go all the way to sacramento for dimsum so I’m so glad they start doing dimsum here. The set high tea menu is actually kinda fun and comes with a nice variety of dimsum items. My favorite is probably the Siumai and the porridge that come with Chinese fried dough. The first time I ever had mimosa with dimsum but surely won’t be the last. Totally would recommend, we actually are coming back for hotpot later next week.

Perapol is a wonderful human with the kindest soul. He is passionate about his cooking and style, which is so rare to find for any locally owned restaurant nowadays. He truly puts his heart and soul into everything - the food, atmosphere, service, and community. His staff are also very kind and attentive. I went to July's tasting menu and Sunday brunch (Asian style breakfast) and dim sum. The food was phenomenal with every bite and detail. Sadly, I did not take pictures at the tasting as I wanted to enjoy the experience and be present. If you follow him on IG @riceboxkitchennv you'll see the menu from this month's tasting menu on there. He does a different theme/twist each month. Next month, Saturday, 8/24 is BBQ so mark your calendars as it will be a collaboration with one of his good friends that specializes in BBQ! I highly recommend this spot for delicious, authentic, and quality food. No matter what you order, you won't be disappointed. Will be continuing to visit as often as possible and will update with more photos as able.(:

Had a chance to visit tonight for a work dinner with two other colleagues. One of which was a local who recommended the place. When I arrived the downstairs bartender sent me to the Rooftop where I gladly enjoyed the beautiful weather. It was absolutely superb on this beautiful June night. I was promptly greeted by the server, but when I asked for the tap list, I was told they only had three home taps on the rooftop along with three piss water guest taps. That was rather disappointing. Hey brewery that doesn't offer all of their own taps is kind of weird. They didn't bother offering to deliver beer from downstairs. Other than that, the food was excellent, the beer was well above average. I had both the hazy IPA and the cold IPA. The wedge salad was fresh and well appointed, however $20 is a lot to spend on some lettuce. The margherita pie with pepperoni added, and the blueberry pie were both excellent. The wings had great flavor, however they must be baked because the skin was soggy instead of crispy. I would go back a hundred times for that pizza though! It was perfect. All in all I definitely recommend a visit … first for the pizza then the incredible rooftop views if you have agreeable weather.

Great little pub amongst the brewing "neighborhood". My first time. Make sure if you're going for the brews, get it before you head upstairs. They do not have the same selection up on the patio. Great vibe. Great service. I only came for a beer so I cannot give advise on the food except everything I saw, looked pretty delicious. The pizza menu will be visited bext tine but Bailey said the french dip was top tier. It's Saturday the 5th of July @ 1730. I hade the "cold IPA". Basic west coast IPA and that's what I like. Enjoy and drink responsibly. Bailey was my server. Give her some love.

I don’t even know where to begin. I had last-minute RSVPs for a surprise birthday party for my husband, and I called Tahoe AleWorx and Jason was so professional and accommodating. He was able to put together part of the patio for our friends and family and everyone’s kids with a 3-hr notice. I just can’t thank them enough. A huge shout out and thank you to the wait staff, the bartenders being able to tolerate all of the kids & the size of our party. I sincerely apologize for some of the running around! Some of our friends had never been to Tahoe AleWorx before & they loved the food & atmosphere. Definitely returning customers! Not only did I meet Jason & others from the wait staff, but I also got to meet the owner, Luca (sorry if I spelled that wrong!). Very nice, excellent customer service, & the prices for booking a space & food/drinks was very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant/venue & they have a forever customer 💜.

I’ve been to the Tahoe AleworX near Stateline a few times, and their pizza’s are way above average in size with a chewy crust, the beers are pretty quaffable as well. So when I saw they had one in Reno, on 4th where Record St. Brewing was, I rushed over there to partake. The woodsy interior ambience is awesome, and our waitress was very congenial. The wall of beers are still good, and they have plenty of choices. The pizza seemed a little smaller and the crust was not quite as good (maybe it’s the Tahoe water?) I had a Shrimp Ceviche, which should have been called Ceviche with a hint of Shrimp. My daughter had a sandwich, and didn’t like the bread and described it as underwhelming. The upside is, overall it’s a good choice during happy hour and as long as you don’t mind the un-housed walking by the front windows, it a great go to in the Brewery District.

Went for lunch at Nothing To It today at 1PM. Had never been to their restaurant before, just their store in front. They seated myself & 3 friends promptly at 1PM, as we had a reservation. They not only have a compact menu page that doesn't take you an hour to get through, but they have either hand made sandwiches on their great tasting focacchia bread, unexpected, but welcomed side salads, or full-on salads, full of goodies & bits that will fill you up, & delight your tongue...along with several different teas, either cold or hot, & other unexpected & refreshing drinks. Kelley was our server, & did a great job serving & making sure we were happy with our selections & well taken care of. You can either choose the airy outside seating or open feeling dining area, & for a pittance of what you would pay elsewhere. Well worth the trip from both; Cold Springs & the Spanish Springs area! Already looking forward to another luncheon out because...there's Nothing To It! One of us celebrated their birthday, & they never rushed us out. Oh yeah...we'll be back...birthday or not! My burrito today is what I expected from Greatfull Gardens, fresh, healthy and clean food.

The Kitchen is one of my go-to spots for my lunch breaks. I like to place an order online to save time, and my food is always ready when I come to pick it up 10-15 minutes later. The food is delicious and healthy, and the employees are very friendly! I especially recommend the soba noodle salad and the great full burrito.

The Stone House Café is a charming eatery located in a converted early-1900s Craftsman-style bungalow made of river rock. This family-owned café offers a diverse menu of New American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Diners can enjoy their meals indoors surrounded by retro rock posters or outdoors on the patio adorned with lush greenery. The café has won multiple awards and is known for its romantic ambiance and fascinating history.
We had a lovely evening for dinner on the last day of school June 6. Outdoor seating was so beautiful in terms of the decor and beautiful plants and flowers. Serena and her staff are always polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Three out of the five of us had the scallops, crab and shrimp pasta. It smelled divine! (I am allergic to shellfish so no tastes for me! Pasta and seafood were plentiful and yet...no leftovers! :) For appetizers, we had the calamari which was so light and tender, the classic escargo and the garlic butter sauce required to servings of bread to go with it, and I had the Gazpacho- which is my fav thing to eat this time of year. My husband had the seafood Louie and...there was nothing left of the enormous dish! I had the salmon Cesar and it was definitely medium and so grateful they did not overcooked it. It had a lovely sear and was a great compliment to the handmade dressing. No one had enough room for dessert...but if they would have...I would choose the bread pudding! Yum!

Found on Yelp! Staying at Silver Legacy, Reno, NV. Wanting to get out of town. Found this cute restaurant! Tried their hash brown, loved their crepes and spinach eggs benedicts.. Servers were right on! Will be back in 4 months!!

The food is always good, tamales are made there and lattes and french toast are always good too. Sometimes you need to park on the street because parking can be tight and they get busy and stay busy so I recommend getting a reservation during peak times. Indoor and outdoor seating is nice and the service is always polite, though can sometimes be understandably delayed during really busy times.

Food is good. Fresh. Service is good. Responsive. If there's one thing this restaurant could improve on, it's the dreadful music that plays in an incessant loop. Try Spotify, would ya?

This place is a must try! I don't say this often, but I am doing it now. Trifecta! 1- Amazing service, fun staff and very knowledgeable. 2- Absolutely beautiful outdoor patio. We did not go inside so can't say about that. 3- Delicious food at a great price and large portions. That is what I call a perfect trifecta!! We met some.friends for brunch so we had breakfast items. I am not sure what they ordered so I can't say but there dishes looked amazing and they we very happy. I ordered the Biscuit Diablo and was so happy with it. Not real spicy, just the right amount. Delicious house made biscuits! This place has such a wide variety of food that there truly is something here for everybody. Come check it out you won't be disappointed!

Hadn’t been there in over a year. We were initially seated in a ‘hallway’ near the kitchen. Dingy and very unattractive! Asked to move to the porch as the outdoor seating was closed. Heaters were blasting so we asked to have them turned down. Food was very average and quite pricey. ‘Homemade’ corn chip appetizer was fried corn tortilla chips and hardly homemade. The pomegranate sauce on my lamb was too thick and overly sweet. Medium well was definitely well done. My daughter’s Thai style sauce on her salmon was ridiculously sweet and had to be scraped off. Fish and chips was good. Needless to say, we won’t be returning anytime soon. Their attempt at fine dining misses the mark with heavy sauces that do nothing but detract from the main protein. Tasteless side vegetables certainly could be stepped up. A complete waste of money and a disappointing experience. We won’t be back.

We had been wanting to experience dining at the stone house cafe for a while, but every time we attempted to go they were packed with people. That told is it had to be good food. We were not disappointed with our dining here. The wait staff were excellent, the food was very very good, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We will definitely go again.
Adam V — Google review
Food was excellent, but the Hostess ignored myself and others waiting to put name on waitlist. Told 30 minutes which was fine on a busy Sunday. 1 hour goes by and we see people come in with no reservations and get seated. Go inside to inquire and ignored by hostess again. Finally we are told we are next after waiting for hostess to acknowledge us. Hostess calls our name and says to take table by front door to left which we did. Server comes to table and rudely asks if we are seating ourselves since there is a waitlist. Place is cute but come on, be courteous and attentive to the paying customer whether you're busy or not. There are plenty of good places to eat with better customer service!

The Twisted Fork, located in South Reno, offers a contemporary dining experience with a blend of European and American flavors. The restaurant's decor is inspired by France, while the menu features farm-fresh cuisine with a twist. Diners can enjoy small plates like Kurobuta Pork Tacos and Tiger Shrimp Tamal for lunch or dinner.
The food here was truly outstanding. Also had lovely staff and great service. We were the last ones left in the restaurant at closing time and they were very gracious and not only let us take our time but then boxed up our leftovers themselves. The meatballs are a great appetizer, and we really enjoyed the fish and chips. Large portions so be prepared to take some home with you.

Came to Twisted Fork with my work and sat in the back. It was a Friday afternoon so it was pretty quiet back here. Had scorpion teriyaki chicken wings and meatballs to start. The meatballs are a reasonable size and were seasoned very well. If you're going with a group, you'll probably need two servings. The chicken wings were cooked as close to perfect as they could have been. The meat fell perfectly off the bone. For the main course I had the short rib grilled cheese. Its more grilled cheese lite and closer to a melt. Regardless, it was quite tasty. The fries weren't seasoned super well, but after adding some salt, they were great.

We stayed in a hotel nearby and were super glad we found this place! All the small plates were incredibly delicious!!!! I love love love every dish. Our server was so knowledgeable and recommended the combination of 4 different dishes perfectly. I am fully blasted tonight.

Absolutely loved this place for happy hour. My friend and I sat in a booth in the bar area. The bar tenders were friendly and personable. The cauliflower karaage delicious, bursting with flavor and could easily be shared between 2-3 people. My friend had the roasted artichokes and she was not disappointed. The beer was cold and the dirty martinis on point. I’d go back here in a heartbeat if I lived in the area. Didn’t get pics of the food but loved the words of advice on the wall!

My husband & I stopped for lunch while traveling through Reno. I had the Turkey melt sandwich with homemade fries and my husband had the pulled pork with French fries. Both were huge and tasted amazing! Our server Kara was very friendly and prompt. The restaurant was busy but our food took no time to arrive at our table. The restaurant is very large with booths, tables and a bar. There is a room for private parties as well.

The twisted fork is a good place to go if you’re looking for a casual but semi-fancy place for dinner. Their food is super tasty. They have good drinks. It is a quick easy place to go. That’s better than BJ’s or Olive Garden or any of your typical spots, but isn’t at the highest end either. You can dress nice. It’s perfect for birthdays or work dinners. Solid food! Good service.

We just discovered this gem! First off the service is excellent. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations. We got two appetizers to try. The hummus is excellent and the artichokes were perfect! The steak salad I got for my entree was absolutely amazing! My husband got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was incredible, and our son got a burger that he loved! Our little girl got the grilled cheese and was very pleased! This place has everything we were hoping for! Atmosphere, kid friendly, excellent food, and amazing staff!

I ordered the "special" corn beef and hash. Potatoes were good as well as my eggs. However, $25 for canned hash was distasteful. Lesson learned. The husband ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich with fries. He did not like his sandwich. However, mom and I loved it! and thought it was very good! Mom ordered the veggie omelet and enjoyed her meal. The hostess was amazing and very attentive and we enjoyed the environment. The food was unfortunately over price for the quality though.

Two Chicks is a trendy restaurant located in the revitalized neighborhood near downtown Reno. Owned by best friends Haley and Jessie, this industrial-chic eatery specializes in local, seasonal American breakfasts, sandwich melts, and salads. The menu focuses on brunch with offerings like mimosas and fresh coffee. Opened in 2014, Two Chicks serves elevated comfort food for breakfast and lunch, including omelets, Benedicts, quality breakfast meats, and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches.
This is one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time! I loved the white, sweet potato, with bell pepper and onions, my bacon was cooked exactly like I asked a little crispy. They have different flavored mimosas and breakfast drinks ! Service was fast, the waiters and waitresses continue to check on me and make sure my meal was good. They were very attentive! There was a little bit of a wait for a table, so I just set up at the bar, which was fabulous! I got to watch the cooks cook and I was amazed with one cook was so good. I definitely recommend breakfast here at two chicks.!

Two Chicks was a perfect stop for brunch on me and my girlfriend’s road trip. The staff were quite friendly, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. They had some really unique food and beverage options that were really good. Definitely be sure to ask the server about some of their menu options that they’d recommend. If you want a hearty brunch in Reno, this spot is a great option.

Two Chicks is a fun place to stop and grab either breakfast or lunch in Reno. They have a good selection of food to choose from. However they are particular in what they offer and you simply just eat it their way, which is odd. It’s hard to get anything customized the way you want it. The staff was quite friendly and did a great job of waiting on my table. Be warned the DO NOT HAVE RANCH or FRY SAUCE here. Haha. There is outdoor seating in the warmer months.

Went there on a Sunday. It seemed busy but they got us in right away and sat us at the bar rail. The bartender was super nice & very helpful. I ordered a mimosa which was delicious. I also ordered a caprese sandwich with Parmesan garlic fries and both were so amazing! I would go back tomorrow if it were close by but we are 2.5 hours away. Service was super fast. The manager was even walking around helping fill waters. Everything was great!
Summer S — Google review
This place was very busy when we arrived, but we were able to sit at the bar area, and we got right in. The food was good. The over-medium eggs were definitely a little on a runny side and the sweet potatoes home fries were really good, but there were about 40% onions in the potatoes. The service was really good. I would absolutely go back and order the home fries with no onions, if that is an option. We will definitely go back here on our next trip to Reno.
Justin G — Google review
I did some research after waking up in the morning for a good breakfast spot nearby me and this place popped up, I told myself I have to give it a try and to see is it good or just hype. Upon arrival, there were a few people ahead of me, but that does not bother me since I am a very patient person. I then got seated and was greeted by their friendly staffs. They have a drink menu that consists of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Their main menu includes breakfast, skillets, omelettes, benedicts, sandwiches, salads, a kid’s menu and much more. I just went with the breakfast since I was craving for it. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where it made my visit a pleasant one. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent breakfast/brunch spot, if you are looking to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I will be back to tryout the other options they have to offer.

A great place for brunch in Reno. The best poutine I've ever had outside of Canada. There's a wait to get seated for brunch, but it's worth it and they have a bar outside for you to grab a drink while you wait. The chilaquiles are just ok though.

We had an early dinner here with another couple last Sunday. The bar and dining room were almost empty when we arrived at 5:30. We chose to eat on the patio, which we had to ourselves, to enjoy the lovely day. We shared a pitcher of margaritas, our server offered to add a shot of mango flavor to my wife’s glass. The chips and salsa were excellent, thick and crunchy with a perfect level of heat to the salsa. I ordered the Patriot Plate (chicken enchiladas) with green sauce and whole beans, and I loved every bite. My wife thought the senior quesadilla plate was a bit dry,but it had plenty of chicken, and our friends were happy with their choices. Serving sizes were ample but not excessive. When we left an hour later (we’d been up since 4 AM for the balloon races) the dining room and bar were packed, it looked like a couple of large groups had arrived while we ate. I picked Bertha’s based mostly on the good reviews and attractive photos on Maps (and the fact that it’s open on Sundays), and it lived up to my expectations. The decor is homey and interesting without feeling overdone. Our server was helpful and friendly. Best of all, I loved my food.

This is the best authentic Mexican I have ever had! They have chips salsa and waters waiting for you at the table before you even sit down. Now that’s service! I got the flautas (2 chicken and 2 beef) and they were the best ever- they were so good we came back for a second night in a row (our last night on our vacation in Reno) and I got the SAME MEAL- yes it’s that good! The Mojito was also they best - mint muddled perfectly throughout and so FRESH! Don’t miss this hidden gem right across from the national automobile museum which is also worth a visit!

I came here on Labor Day and came back again today . I got the viva Mexico with chicken for both the enchilada and the taco . My boyfriend had the hat and it was also amazing. The steak taquitos were so goood I had to order my own today , I wasn’t that hungry but definitely wanted to bring the whole restaurant with me because I’m not from the area . The cola was delicious. A BIG FAN of the greeen salsa and chips . I knew the food was gonna be good once I had the chips and salsa , they’re not playing around !!!!! Will come back here every time I’m out here .

Great Basin Brewing Company in Reno is a part of a small chain that offers craft beers, cocktails, and pub grub in a laid-back setting. It's known for its popular Icky IPA and delicious pub food. The brewery opened in 1993 and is the oldest in Nevada, boasting a wide selection of high-quality craft beers ranging from light lagers to rich stouts.
The service and atmosphere was great! Plenty of outdoor seating and very attentive staff. The Nashville hot crispy chicken sandwich was delicious! I'm not a big beer drinker personally so I tried their cider and it was so refreshing. I would absolutely come here again.

Great ambiance and amazing service (best service I've had in a long time). Their food wasn't anything exciting. I got their Hef beer and salmon mango tacos, with an upgrade for sweet potato fries (which were so salty). The tacos needed more mangos and more toppings. Wished I ordered something different, oh well.

Good food and a nice selection of beer all served with a laid-back, casual vibe. Service was excellent, prices were very reasonable, and there was plenty of parking. The outdoor seating area has lots of traffic noise, but it didn't hamper our table conversation. We're from out -of-town and this was our favorite dining experience in Reno so far!

Local craft brew house offering a variety of craft beers and a good selection of food. The menue has some unique items along with the standard American fair. The burgers and pizzas are well made and loaded with flavor The atmosphere is typical brewery with lots of hustle and bustle. This is the only complaint as the service was slow to get good out. The staff was friendly and helpful and apologies for the slow food service.

Their beers are always the main reason to be here. The food is quite typical brew pub grub. I heard that a chef bought Great Basin, if thats true, then they really need to upgrade their food game. The nachos I had were a good value for 10 bucks, but honestly you can make ones at home that are on par with theirs.

Great food and beer, I really enjoy this location due to the selection of the menu. I like that they use local meat from park ranch and that they have a bigger selection of actual dinner entrees. We will definitely be back to this location.

Ordered fish and chips. Food was cold and overcooked in old grease. Barely any fish in the basket ; it was mainly breading that was chewy. Coleslaw was room temperature and not cold. Also ordered chicken wings, had heavy smoke seasoning on it! Food came out way too fast which tells me it’s all sitting in the kitchen ready to serve. Ate here years ago and decided to try again but won’t make that mistake again. Do not recommend; will never eat here again.

We eat here somewhat infrequently but always enjoy it. Tonight was extra special. We dropped in before the theatre. Amazing meal, I had the barramundi. El-Marie had the curry salmon. Both excellent. The barramundi was slightly crispy without being overly cooked. The salmon had a slight glaze that was also wonderful. Great meal.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch on Boxing Day. The restaurant was very busy so I sat at the bar. I liked the atmosphere in this rather small place and the service was good. I ordered the breakfast burger with coleslaw and both items were delicious. The burger was served with a generous amount of perfectly cooked bacon and a lovely, runny-yoke fried egg. The burger was rather greasy but the flavour was excellent. I think this place is popular with the locals as a few people came by to pick up take out orders and a server seemed to be well acquainted with them... A good selection of wines and craft beer. Would definitely like to return and try more selections from their menu.

Granite Street Eatery provided a truly delightful and memorable dining experience. Nestled in a charming part of town, this local gem offers a welcoming ambiance that effortlessly balances casual comfort with thoughtful service. One of the standout features for me was their dog-friendly patio—an absolute bonus for pet lovers. I brought both my mother and my beloved rescue dog, Daisy, and we were all made to feel right at home. The staff was exceptionally courteous and professional, displaying genuine warmth and attentiveness throughout our visit. It’s not often you find service that feels both efficient and personal, but Granite Street Eatery manages to strike that rare balance. We began our meal with the shishito pepper appetizer, which I cannot recommend highly enough. Perfectly blistered and seasoned, the peppers had just the right amount of heat and depth of flavor to whet the appetite. It was a simple dish executed with care and finesse—evidence of a kitchen that takes pride in both quality and presentation. Equally impressive were the menu prices, which were remarkably reasonable given the quality of the ingredients and the overall dining experience. It’s refreshing to discover a place where value and flavor coexist so harmoniously. Granite Street Eatery has certainly earned a spot on my list of favorite local spots, and I look forward to returning many times in the future—hopefully with Daisy in tow. Whether you're looking for a relaxed lunch, a charming evening out, or a pet-friendly place to enjoy a meal with family, this eatery delivers on every front.

Great little pub style restaurant. Nice vibe. The bison burger was perfectly cooked and flavored. They didn't hide the flavor by trying to do too much. The coleslaw was light and fresh with just the right amount of sweetness. The fish and chips were beautifully done. The batter wasn't heavy and the fish stood up to being dipped into the tarter sauce which was creamy and not too sweet. The chips (fries) had a wonderful crispy outer shell, not greasy, and flavorful. We started with the naan and hummus plate. The naan was to die for. Great, friendly service. And the bring your bill in a cute book that you can write a note in.

By far the best food I’ve had in Reno. The only downside are the bacon chips, they’re just not special. The caramel martini gave me life, and I hate sweet drinks. The espresso one was ok, but not the caramel. My friend and I both had burgers that were out of this world and she had a dessert (seasonal ice cream) that she couldn’t believe was real. By far the best food in Reno Nevada. Definitely go here. Update, I came back and had a fantastic Italian sandwich and espresso martini a year later. Still a go to spot in Reno.

Thai Lotus is a family-owned restaurant located in South Reno, offering a delectable selection of Thai dishes. The lunch specials present an array of curry and noodle options served in charming bowls, while the dinner menu features traditional Pad Thai and Pad Sew Eew alongside noodle soups and rice dishes. Despite its unassuming appearance, this hidden gem draws crowds with its flavorful offerings.
I came here for lunch and had the Pad Thai. I know standard dish, but it's actually very good here. Lunch comes with the noodles in a med bowl and served with of all things white rice. Why steamed rice with rice noodles? I dunno! The flavor of the noodles is very good, but the price has gone up to $16.00 for the lunch special. Just be aware no cheap lunch anymore. Service is very professional.

We have dined at this restaurant twice now, and each visit has been an excellent experience. The food is consistently outstanding—especially the curry dishes and the Pad Thai, which I would highly recommend to anyone. They also offer a wonderful selection of Boba flavors, making it easy to find something for everyone. What truly stood out, in addition to the food, was the service. On both occasions, our servers were attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer my questions about the different curries and made the experience feel very welcoming. Overall, this restaurant combines delicious food with genuine hospitality, and I look forward to returning again soon.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Reno. Their lunch specials are reasonable and the food is really good! They can make anything as mild or as spicy as you want; I usually prefer things spicy and a #10 spice is fantastic (and super super hot)! My wife doesn't like spice too much so a #2 spice is usually what she gets and enjoys it. We've been coming to Thai Lotus for about 15 years and it's been consistently good.

I could give the dude at the Enterprise counter at the Reno-Tahoe airport a huge hug for recommending Thai Lotus! It makes sense why him and his wife come here all the time as the food is nothing short of amazing! I decided to do an online order the day before I left as due to the time that they open I wouldn't have made my flight. I got the vegetable with oyster sauce and added chicken. It came with white rice and I decided to also order a bottled chai tea. Unfortunately due to work I wasn't able to enjoy my food right away. But, even after a few hours the food was still so good. The rice was super fluffy and light, not crunchy or hard at all. There was a great balance of vegetables and chicken. Overall it wasn't too salty, or heavy, and full of flavor! I went with the medium spice and it was just enough! I so wish I lived in this area as good Thai food is difficult to come by and Thai Lotus checks all the flavor buttons for me. Thai Lotus is a must!

Pretty decent Thai restaurant for being centrally located. It gets crowded in here even during the week for lunch, so I guess a lot of people like it. I had the standard Pad Thai, dinner portion. It was probably the second best Pad Thai I've had in Reno. It was plated very nice , I'll give it that. The flavor was good too, properly done. My friend had the panang Salmon for about $20. Expensive, but he liked it. Service was fine and no communication probs at all. Very professional.

This is the BEST indian restaurant in Town!!! Been going for years! For newbies~ try the Chicken Tikka Masala and Shahi Navratan Korma! Worth every penny! They also have a lunch buffet with all sorts of dishes. Some is too exotic for me~ but those two dishes I mention are literally my favorite restaurant dishes in entire city! (Reno) Pictures are takeout.

My experience at Indian Kabab and Curry was nothing short of exceptional, a true hidden gem in every sense. The food was indescribably delicious, with vibrant flavors that danced on the palate, showcasing the rich depth of Indian cuisine. The service was impeccable, attentive, warm, and effortlessly professional. Making me feel genuinely welcomed from the moment I stepped in. I opted for takeout, and my order was ready in a lightning-fast 10-15 minutes, a testament to their efficiency. The restaurant’s ambiance was luxurious yet unpretentious, with beautifully set tables that invited you to linger, though I didn’t dine in. While waiting, I sat at the bar, a stylish and comfortable spot, and was treated to a complimentary glass of cold, refreshing water served in a stunning blue wine glass. A thoughtful touch that elevated the brief wait. Indian Kabab and Curry is a treasure worth discovering, blending exquisite food, stellar service, and a refined atmosphere without missing a beat.

Always enjoy the AYCE Indian buffet here. The service has also always been very good. The menu and buffet selection offers a nice mix of traditional dishes with some variety. Everything we’ve tried has been flavorful and consistent — enough to keep us coming back again and again.

I really enjoyed the food here! It's super underrated. Everything is extremely flavorful and they give you big portion sizes. It's definitely worth coming

One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited in a long time. The service was fast, and everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended!

I loved my experience here from the very beginning! The most important part of any experience for me is the customer service and the customer experience. I entered with my mom and we were seated immediately and taken care of. We had two people assisting us directly and while the lady seemed shy (still friendly), the man that assisted us wasn't so. He joked around and made the experience more lively. The food was great also. I tried a few different things and everything I tried was great! His personality though...

Had the lunch buffet, the garlic naan that came with it was a big hit, and the chicken tikka masala sauce was also really good, though the chicken seemed a bit rubbery. Those were my highlights, the rest was not too memorable. The lunch buffet goes from 11am-3pm and is about 17$ per person after tax. Free parking behind the building.

Truly a gem for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. The flavors were spot-on, and the presentation was beautiful. Highly recommend!

Midtown Eats is a trendy and eclectic restaurant that features fresh, made-to-order food. The menu includes salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers and tacos during lunchtime and meatier fare such as steak and fries or duck confit at dinner. Their Sunday brunch offers brioche French toast, eggs benedict, a classic bacon lettuce tomato sandwich, fresh squeezed juice or mimosa service with coffee from their own Hub Coffee Roasters down the street.
First time here, I’ve been wanting to go for a some time now. The place is pretty cool, the ambiance is pretty chill. My boyfriend and I both ordered their strongest Ale and it did in fact hit us half way. We were both hungry and ordered a burger 🍔 and oh my goodness, this was a good burger, a lot of meat and very delicious.(keep in mind I’m not a meat lover) the burger came with a side of fries and they are not stingy at all with their 🍟 fries. Our server was really good and loved how I asked for a side of chipotle aioli and my boyfriend asked for ranch for both of us and she brought us both of each. I really appreciate when servers are kind like that😊 Our check was over $50 but that’s because the 🍺 was $12 each and that’s okay that was a strong one Overall great place, loved it will definitely go again, specially when we get the munchies.

Good food at decent prices. The Portabello mushroom burger was good and has a flavorful sauce. I also ordered the mushroom soup which was good but came with a bit of oil on the top, a little too much for my liking but otherwise very good. I highly recommend their sodas, both the vanilla orange and the strawberry sodas were very good with lots of flavor and hardly any sugar. I wish I could buy it at a store. Check this place out if you get a chance, not bad.

First time here I what are the duck confit it was wonderful. I came back about a year later passing through the area and they no longer have the duck confit they ordered a similar chicken dish. The inside is beautiful to have more whiskeys than you can count

**update** So I’m back in Reno and had to come back to Midtown Eats and I’m glad I did. The first time was great but the second time was even better. That steak and frites I had this time was KILLER! So if you haven’t been you need to come because the service, food and drinks are great! *original post* First time in Reno and Midtown Eats did not disappoint. My steak and potatoes were 👌🏾 If you have time also try there sister bar, Death and Taxes, were the libations are Truly (😉😂) amazing!

Wow, one of the spiciest margaritas (Ode to Tommy's) that i've ever had, and it was delicious. Heard a lot about this place as a newcomer to town, but with a name like midtown eats, i wasn't expecting much - blown away though by the flavor. Really good shishito peppers, my favorite green bean dish (buttered brown sugar), and some good (not excellent) ribs. Meat was a bit tough, but still a great dish.
Sean R — Google review
It is neat that Reno has hip restaurants. However...the dinner food menu here was so small, the choices are bare minimum. Seeing what the salads looked like - unappetizing and laughable. $18 for a really unappealing veggie bowl. The prices are outrageous.

Excellent food quality, love the brunch there. Can be hard to find parking but it's worth the trouble.

They're not kidding around! Their lamb burger and portobello burger were both killer awesome. Honest ingredient worthy of every penny! I'll echo every other review about the sweet potato fries-- delicious!

Bistro 7 is a delicious and trendy bistro located in the heart of Reno. The food is fantastic and the cocktails are creative, making it the perfect place to enjoy a date night or an evening with friends. The staff is friendly and efficient, always cleaning up after themselves and keeping guests entertained. The bistro has an exposed ceiling and beautiful decor which makes it a must-visit place for anyone visiting Reno.
I had a nice time at Bistro 7. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. I had the steak frites, and my friend had the lollipop lamb. Both were tasty. The lamb is more so and would get it next time. The accompanying fries were cold and did not add to the entree. The hot chocolate specialty drink was delicious.

Creative dinner menu that consistently delivers, with interesting specials. Decent cocktail and wine menu. Bistro 7 has a good atmosphere, especially in the bar area. The dining room could be a little cold for some.

So to start off with, we had a giant party, about 30 of us, for an engagement dinner. I truly wish I got the name of the server because he was honestly fantastic. It honestly did not feel long at all for anything, not to sit, not to get drinks, not for our food either. The other staff and management were also super helpful. Originally we reserved for a party of 20 and they closed off the patio for us, once people started arriving the number kept going up and we no longer fit. They were super accommodating and got us more space. I’m not too sure how others felt so I can only speak about my experience but overall this was an excellent dining experience. My portion of the party got a spinach dip, 2 pizzas, a steak, and a surf & turf sushi. All of our meals came out quickly and in great quality. The only slight slight issue was there was no steak sauce :( but other than that, the steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. The sushi was honestly a 10/10, we wished we had ordered another one, it was the first thing to be finished. The spinach dip was also another 10/10, serving it with bread was quite new to me, however it made such a great addition. The pizzas were nice and crispy, do wish it had a bit more sauce but overall yum! I highly recommend this place… trust me get the sushi.

It took me WAY too long to write this review but here it is :) We arrived about 10 minutes early on our reservation but they seated us right away. Our server, Megan, was incredible: always attentive but never ever overwhelming or intruding. Food was delightful: the brie potstickers were really good but the calamari were outstanding... careful though: they are really filling so consider that when ordering. Salmon and steak frites were perfect and dessert... was HUGE! Incredibly good but huge: Megan was able to figure out a way for us to take it home even though there was the ice cream!!

Fabulous wine selections, appetizers and entrees. Happy hour appears to allow full menu options with 20% off!. 04/29/2025 update: thanks to recommendation from wonderful server Andrea, we tried the bison Bolognese preceded by a shared Cobb salad. Both were delicious! Have never had a bad meal here!
Roberta T — Google review
We just left after dining here for the first time and it's absolutely my favorite place in Reno so far. The cocktails were perfectly mixed and all the food was delicious, but what really impressed me was the service. Dirty plates were cleared and water glasses filled within a minute. We were celebrating closing on a house (as well as my husband's birthday) and the staff seemed like they were genuinely celebrating with us. It was an all around pleasant experience and I can't wait to recommend this restaurant to my friends and family!
Heather B — Google review
We were so excited to try this restaurant are seeing all the reviews. The service and appetizers were great, the main dishes were a terrible disappointment. The comments in the last few months were spot on with soot covered food and poor flavors. We started with the calamari and seared tuna. They both had great flavor and were prepared very well. I ordered the salmon. Our waitress informed me that it will come out medium rare unless I would like it different. When it arrived, it was medium well. It was still acceptable, but not what was expected. The salmon had a pesto sauce on top that was delicious. Unfortunately the pesto was the only flavor coming from the fish. It was disappointing how little flavor the fish actually had. It was prepared on a cedar plank that was charred heavily and smeared the plate with soot and oils. I had to be sure I kept my mashed potatoes away from it. The mashed potatoes were a good consistency with some clumps but again, lacking any real flavor. It felts as if the kids food was an after thought. The chicken tenders were saturated in oil as if the oil temperature was too cold when they were dropped. The kids burger was an over sized bun with a skinny piece of beef inside. The fries were good though! The real disappointment was our broccoli. It was barely cooked and was COVERED in soot. It tasted like they rolled it around in the coals for a second and served it. Throughout our entire meal the dining area was filled with smoke from their fire oven. It felt as if the cooks couldn't get it under control. Raw smoke ruins the flavor of food. I let our waitress know that the food was disappointing and she simply said that she would let the cooks know. For the pricing and menu items listed at this restaurant, you would assume they would have everything figured out. $200 later I felt it was necessary to warn everyone else.

On 4/30 I was here celebrating my grandma birthday with family it’s my first time dining here. It was a decent dinner we ordered the steak frite, ribeye, and filet mignon the sauce for was very salty but temperature was cooked perfectly medium. The steamed clams came with bread which was soft and nice with the sauce. We had Rachel (server) she didn’t check on us once during our dinner it wasn’t even busy we were checked on by the busser (tall and white male can’t remember his name), the server assistant (hispanic male with glasses can’t remember his name), and manager even check on us once when food came at first. Unfortunately, the only time Rachel came is when we had to pay for the check. In my opinion, I believe she knew she would get 20% for tips ($42.87 in this situation) because we were a party of 5 and if she gave good service or not, it wouldn’t matter she got $42.87 out of us. But I do find it odd how it’s 5 people for auto gratuity usually it’s 6 people for auto gratuity anywhere else dining at a restaurant. The busser and server assistant was really kind said happy birthday even got us a complementary cake for my grandma. Rachel didn’t ever acknowledge that it was my grandma birthday when she first came to serve us.

Archie's Giant Hamburgers & Breakfast is a popular 24-hour pub located near the University of Nevada Reno, making it a favorite spot for students and faculty. With a tradition spanning 27 years, this restaurant offers American basics and specialty burgers in a relaxed setting with a deck. The breakfast menu features an array of options including hotcakes, omelettes, giant breakfast burritos, and the famous breakfast burger.
A great list of food and drinks, beer on tap too. I would say the burgers are phenomenal, but the service and the atmosphere that I felt here unfortunately do not follow it. Oh well, I’d like to review solely for the food that they serve, 5-star period. One another thing, there is no access to the parking from N Sierra St.

I’m pretty picky when it comes to diner-type food, but it’s clear why this place is a local favorite! The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Four stars because the veggies in the omelet were chopped a bit too large for my liking and the hash browns weren’t seasoned well enough, but to each their own. Better than over-seasoned, that’s for sure. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was TOP-NOTCH. If you’re looking to get away from downtown, but not too far, Archie’s is a great choice!

Stop in after a long drive. Looked at the reviews and it got us Curious. We came to check it out for ourselves. Absolutely phenomenal. Hands down my go to spot when I drive through Reno. Burger super filling. Super full of flavor and the house sauce, a little spicy for me. but super tasty. Only downside is the burgers are so filling we couldn’t eat our sides.

Definitely geared towards the college crowd but at 930am on a Monday, nary a college student and filled with locals. Ordered a breakfast burger which was HUGE! Came with a fried egg and pineapple slice. Hand formed patty and a nice soft (likely potato) bun. Fries are epic! Fresh oil or tallow or whatever they fry them in these days. Next to campus and according to the menu, great happy hour and other specials for UNR students. I liked that they offer a 5% discount for cash buyers but they also offer a Scan2Pay option so you can use your mobile wallet. Reputation is well deserved.
Elise J — Google review
I came in curious about the hype and left wondering why I waited so long to try this place. Archie’s is known for their burgers, but their breakfast deserves just as much love. Let’s talk about those Potatoes Ole. Crispy, cheesy, topped with fresh pico… they stole the whole show. I’d come back just for them. I also had the strawberry French toast, bacon, eggs, and a mimosa made with their fresh-squeezed orange juice. Fun fact: they squeeze both their orange and grapefruit juices daily, and it makes a real difference. The only thing I’d tweak? The eggs came as a scrambled mix which is totally fine, but next time I’ll ask for them fried. The staff was so welcoming, the vibe is family-friendly, and they serve breakfast until 2PM which is a win for late risers.
LaDonna M — Google review
I went to enjoy a takeout burger, a garlic burger however, when I arrived, there was no garlic burger. It was instead of breakfast burger, or some other burger and politely asked for them to make the garlic burger, which they kindly agreed. Then quickly arrived my new garlic burger, and then I when I went home to enjoy it. It was like a turkey patty. I didn’t Even get the burger it was just a turkey patty not a half pound delicious beef patty so I’m very disappointed and heartbroken and I couldn’t even finish it kind of gross. Bruhhhhhhh
Carlton H — Google review
Warning, check your order before you leave. I ordered the not so big burger, the garlic fries and a Dr Pepper. I was charged $16.33 but didn't get a receipt to see if I got the 5% discount for paying cash. Upon arriving at home, I found out that I got regular fries not the garlic fries I ordered. I have no idea what I paid for and I didn't get what I ordered. Don't worry about it, I'm not recommending this place or coming back. Just thought you should know Thank you.

My daughter brought us to this incredible restaurant full of flavorful dishes made from fresh ingredients. I loved the decor and the food was too notch. I even enjoyed the PB&J smoothie! (I just HAD to try it). Huge amount of vegetarian/vegan options and of course plenty of meat dishes as well. Strongly recommend!

Laughing Planet is a fun and quirky restaurant to get some good vegetarian food. The service was fine, but as you order from a counter you don't really interact much with the staff. It's a bit like a cafeteria, but a much cooler one than you had at school, and with much better food. The interior was really fun and I enjoyed its off-beat decor. I had the Korean bowl which the baked tofu. Keep in mind that it is much more Korean inspired than actually truly authentically Korean. It would really benefit with the addition of some kimchi. The baked tofu was bog standard but the fresh veggies in the cilantro lime slaw with the broccoli and the quick pickled cucumbers were delicious. The heat level from the Korean BBQ sauce was decently good. It was a nice meal but not necessarily memorable.
Kristin K — Google review
It was hard to find parking that you didn't have to walk a block for. It's an order at the counter. There are no servers. I had a banhi mi salad that was served as each separate items on the plate with two big wedges of tofu and the peanut sauce that came in a dish that sat on top of my rice. I didn't finish it because it was a little to spicy for me.

This spot is a must-visit every time for me! The food is super tasty, the staff is warm and welcoming, and everything is spotless. We were visiting from California, and I needed a place that worked for both my plant-based diet and my husband's all-you-can-eat style, and this place nailed it. I had the soup and salad, and he went big with a chicken burrito that left him stuffed. We kicked it off with some amazing chips and salsa, and left full and happy!
Amanda M — Google review
Honestly, this place has gone so down hill. It used to be amazing and now every time I go there something is wrong with my order or the quality is just not what it used to be. Also, they are chronically understaffed so it takes forever to get your food when there are more than two people ordering. Ex: Thai burrito they didn’t add the tofu that comes with it Bollywood bowl, they legit hadn’t cooked the broccoli and there was hardly any sauce or chicken on it Korean BBQ bowl, they didn’t put the slaw on it
Courtney D — Google review
The food was pretty good and they have a decent variety of options for regular and plant based diets. If you want more flavor add avocado and use their salsas. The prices are pretty much in line with other restaurants that have similar menus.

This is one of my favorite places to eat vegan foods. They usually have a very interesting special going on and you can always ask for vegan substitutes if needed. I like the laid-back and creative atmosphere. This is the first review where I am including a photo of the unisex bathroom. I think I will do that more in the future since it kind of matters to some folks. At this restaurant you are expected to bus your own table and the drinks are self-serve. I enjoy that just fine. My go-to staple is the Tempe Royale with vegan cheese. At only $11.50, I can completely fill my belly for the rest of the afternoon. My wife and a friend both enjoyed a chomp on the burrito and agreed with me how very tasty it is.

The food and the service were quick, and my burger came out the way I asked. Has a lot of strange decor in this place probably could use some wiping off a lot of dust and cob webs floating around our table from all the hanging decor. Might wanna clean it up a bit. Overall, the food was good.

My daughter and I got there before the men did. We were ignored for over 15 minutes and finally a waitress named Josie came to take our drink order. Came back a few minutes later to get our food order. Within minutes of the men coming in who say at our table, she was right there. She asked if they were ready to order their drinks or food twice in 5 minutes! Obviously, she is one of those that don't want competition from an old woman and the wife of one of the men. Food and drinks were good tho but service really sucked

For the second time now, my veggie sandwich has contained pieces of meat. Inside and mushed into bread on the bottom of the sandwich. Two different meats might I add. Lunch today in Reno, NV Yosh’s Unique Deli. My wife and I follow a Food Network tv show "Diners,Drive Ins and Dives, so we are in town and decided to hit this spot. Have to say, this place is not for us. Wife ordered am Italian chopped salad, and was good. She also ordered a cup Asian Vegetable soup, it was so salty neither of us could eat it. I got the Meatloaf sandwich as seen on tv, pretty bad, about a slab maybe 3/8” thick, grilled on a flat top, charred so there is no moisture left and no flavor at all! Worst DDD we have been to.

Cool deli with outdoor seating! I got the pulled pork sandwich, and everything- the coleslaw, the bread the sauce was amazing and I could tell time and effort went into making each item extra good! I also tied the unique potato salad and it lived up to its name. They were able to make some plain chicken for my dog and I was able to sit outside with him! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Reno!!!

Delicious food and kind people working there. The French dip is SO good. Crowded seating, but that's because so many people want to be there. There is some seating available outside if the weather is nice. I confused the cashier and was overcharged, but we mentioned it to our waiter and a manager (possibly owner?) came out and quickly and took care of it. I'm looking forward to going again

So they closed because of a pipe breaking and we are paying that bill! I asked for a smoked tri tip and paid for double meat. The grilled onions were more consistent than the meat! WHERES THE BEEF you ask? In the pipe renovation bill! You don’t get what you pay for! It’s really gone downhill!

Cozy, amazing restaurant with some of the best Asian dishes I've ever eaten. Really impressive quality all around. Prices range from $22-37 dollars for entrees with the bulk floating around $25. We had made reservations a few weeks in advance, and that was good because there would have been no indoor seating otherwise. The interior space is small, but perfectly suited to the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. We ordered 4 dishes: 1) Spicy Pork Tenderloin -- 10/10 -- perfect dish -- the most tender, large slices of pork with chunks of fresh jalapeno 2) Pan Fried Noodles with Pork -- 8/10 -- Pork was tender, but came up short compared to the spicy tenderloin. Still quite delicious. The noodles are very crispy and crunchy which provides a contrast of texture. 3) Sezchuan Lamb -- 9/10 -- amazing, just like the tenderloin, a little less spicy but still has a kick and very tender but not as tender as the tenderloin. Sorry to compare everything to the tenderloin! 4) Ginger noodles with Shrimp 🦐 -- 6/10 -- the least impressive, and most expensive entree that we ordered -- the shrimp were big and very delicious and there were plenty of them, but it just didn't compare to the other three less expensive entrees. We also had green tea 10/10, half a roast duck 🦆 with tortilla, sweet buns, and hoisin sauce for $45 which everyone enjoyed, and finally a bottle of Sake 🍶 for $52 that was chilled and complimented the meal perfectly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to pay a fair price for amazing food.

Kwok's just may be our favorite Chinese restaurant in the world! The service is great (thanks Winnie, Brian, and Danny), and although small, we love the feel of the place, and food is simply amazing. (And they have a great wine and beer list with things you won't see anywhere else, so definitely give it a look and try something new.) I am not going to go I to all the dishes we had because that would take forever, especially because we loved our July 2025 visit so much that we returned two days later to try some more. (We had visited them a couple times a couple years ago and loved it then too...but don't remember it being THIS good!) However, here are just some of the many excellent dishes that immediately come to mind... Egg rolls Pot stickers Crab ragoon Oysters Mushrooms XO green beans Duck stir fry Crab fried rice Spicy beef Szechuan eggplant Roasted duck I recommend just picking whatever looks good, whatever is on special, and whatever they recommend and you'll have an amazing meal. (We always order a ton, figuring we'll take the extra home but it ends up being so good that we eat it all there.) And rest assured, the food is top quality. It is always fresh and light and no matter how much we eat, we never feel heavy or hungover the next day. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but the place isn't very big so I highly recommend making reservations. We travel to Renoux regularly and now our whole visit revolves around the question, "...when are we going to Kwok's, and can we fit in two visits while we're there for the weekend?"

Oh my God, I'm so glad I found this gem of a restaurant. I was in town for work and I wanted some good food, and from the suggestion from a local friend I made my way to Kwoks. Now initially the place looked unassuming but when I got inside I was greeted and taken care of by their lovely staff. Now I got in on a Thursday afternoon (5pm) right before you needed a reservation so keep that in mind if you are wanting to go. Now to the food. I ordered the XO green beans and the salted fish fried rice and omg did they not disappoint at all. Great flavors that weren't heavy and perfectly balanced. Hats off to the chef (who actually came out to greet and interact with his customers!). Any time I'm in Reno I will be paying Kwoks a visit for sure. 10/10

The absolute best service and food I’ve had in a long time. The ambiance was great and the staff really take pride in what they do! The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. I cannot wait to go back! They deserve more than 5 stars, highly recommend.

Best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, I eat there often, even had the Chinese new years prefix dinner and it was worth every penny, just go here and love it like I do.

What an incredible experience, through and through! We didn't have reservations but they managed to squeeze us in and made us feel so welcome. The food is devine!!! I honestly can't rave enough about it. It was so good that we went back the next day to get our fix before heading out of town. The restaurant is small but they don't put in too many tables to make you feel crowded. They leave a good amount of space for their patrons to enjoy their meals. I HIGHLY recommend eating here. Try to get a reservation if you can. If you can't, order take out. You don't want to miss this place!

Went with a group of 6 for a business dinner. This was my first time being able to enjoy Kwok’s dining experience. We all ordered an entree and shared. Appetizers: chicken wings and shu-mai-both phenomenal. Entrees: Chicken w fresh shiitake mushroom Generals chicken Beef and broccoli Ginger noodles with shrimp Stir fried Eggplant Honey shrimp Stir fried asparagus. Combination fried rice The service is phenomenal. It’s a small restaurant and is by reservation only. While the Chinese food scene in Reno is greatly lacking, taking that into consideration, this is the best Chinese food I’ve had since moving here 3.5 years ago. All of the above food we ordered was amazing. I have zero complaints from this establishment. Grab your girl and take her to Kwok’s! You won’t regret it!!

Minato Sushi & Bar is a Japanese restaurant with an all-you-can-eat sushi and ramen menu. The service is good and the food is fresh and delicious. The Ayce sushi rolls are especially good, and the fried leg crabs are also very tasty.
We have came to this place twice and it was totally worth it. $30.99 for all u can eat sushi and today I decided to try the Ramen & it was delicious. We had some friends that are gluten free & diary free and the staff was super friendly about preparing roles to accommodate their dietary needs.

The food was delicious! Sasha was really nice and friendly and she made amazing recommendations on the menu! I'll definitely go back because the food and the service !! I'm changing my review today 08/05. I placed my order at 7:40 to go, they made me wait for 45 minutes. There. wasn't a line or anything. Just ignoring me for that long. Updated in September; I talked to Jamie in person and he provided an excellent customer service. Their poke bowl 🥣 is the best.

Excellent sushi!! 90 % of what we tried was delicious. The fried salmon skin roll was just okay. Great selection. They also serve noodle dishes...we will try that next time. A really helpful and kind wait staff.

This place is great. The sushi was fresh and very well prepared. Together we ate seven rolls and everyone of them was delicious. The calamari and mussel appetizers were an outstanding choice to start this food experience. The bake spicy scallops dish melted in my mouth. Wow! Can't wait to come back and try the Udon seafood noodle bowl.

Love this sushi and ramen spot. The ramen is spot on with flavor and can be very spicy! Lots of add-ons for ramen. Sushi options are a la carte or AYCE. All items are very tasty. Tried their protein roll for first time and was very pleasantly surprised.

Absolutely one of the best coffee shops in Reno! Artisanal Coffee rocks. Avocado Toast is one of the best u will ever have. And seating outside in the beautiful Springtime Sun is just delightful 😎

Visited here from out of town. Located in local neighbor neighborhood streets. Basic coffee selection, eco friendly cups, freshly made pastries. I’m an almond croissant fanatic and found myself really liking their almond croissant (thick filling).

This super chill coffee shop has a great atmosphere and wildly creative drinks that will make you feel better any time of day! We enjoyed the cucumber mint matcha and ube latte before an afternoon hike - both highly recommended!

Great coffee and tea! Fun atmosphere. Great customer service. Food is homemade and delicious! It's always busy here. Hard to pop in for a quick coffee. Always a 10 minute + wait. Worth it.
Shannon S — Google review
I always enjoy the coffee here, but I’m disappointed to see the shop allowing political messaging. It doesn’t build community — it divides it. This should be a place where people from all walks of life can feel welcome, not somewhere that pushes one side or the other. I hope you’ll consider focusing on what truly brings people together: great coffee, friendly service, and a space everyone can enjoy.
Clay S — Google review
My favorite spot in Reno to enjoy my espresso and breakfast, they have a great variety of pastries and sandwiches!
Walid A — Google review
Coffee is great and reasonably priced. You can even bring your own thermo for $1 discount. The only downside is that it’s so popular that it tends to be crowded.

Terrible service! Too expensive! I ordered 2 small almond milk hot chocolates and a small chi latte To Go. $17.50. I tipped $4 When they called my name I went to the counter to see three of the smallest cups I've ever seen! No to go container or lids. I told the kid... I ordered to go. He replied those are to go cups. He pointed to lids and stack of to go trays! I proceeded to put the lids on overflowing with liquid tiny cups! Overflowing liquid! Then tried to pull a to go tray that were all stuck together. Left in disgust! I will never go back to that dump! And will tell everyone!

Mediterranean restaurant

Estella is a lively and modern Mexican cantina located at The Jesse hotel in downtown Reno. Co-owned by Piper Stremmel, the taqueria offers a buzzy outdoor patio where patrons can enjoy mezcal margaritas and beer-battered lobster tail tacos. The restaurant prides itself on using local, seasonal ingredients to create upscale Mexican street tacos served on fresh-pressed corn tortillas.
Great food, super friendly service, beautiful courtyard, and some amazing hand crafted cocktails. I tried two of the bartender's spontaneous creations and both drinks were delicious. Definitely looking forward to going back.
Joseph H — Google review
The food was delicious. This was the most interesting Gyro I have ever had in a platter. I went here because of the review and recommendation for good Mexican food. But April 2025 the Estella’s had closed.
Arshak K — Google review
I dined at the hotel restaurant at 4 PM, seated outdoors. My order was taken at the front desk, but after waiting 30 minutes, I realized my order hadn't been received. There was no service during the meal, and I had to bring my own water and high chairs. When I checked, I was asked for a 20% tip, which I ultimately didn't pay, and the bartender was irritated. The food was decent, but the bartender’s her attitude was poor. I'll tip for good service, but I absolutely don't support asking for a tip after poor service. It is really weird!

Really great spot in Reno for high end tacos and Mexican food. The ingredients are all great quality, the tortillas are amazing, soft and the salsas are delicious and well paired with the different types of taco. The Al pastor was delicious as was the beef brisket taco. Great for a sunny day out on the patio, we rocked up at 5:30pm on a Friday and got a table without a reservation.
Bennis D — Google review
estella is currently closed and changed to a restaurant called jessy, we only found out when we arrive haha still, this place serves quite good greek food with amazing level cocktail! the kofta is very juicy ❤️ price is quite reasonable, interior is classy with lush tropical plant strongly recommend ❤️

Estella is now Estella at the Jesse - Mediterranean. They no longer offer Mexican food. We visited for a late lunch, and received overpriced bar food with the absolute bare minimum service for a not-restaurant. The deli meat on my gyro platter came out charred bacon-bits crispy. My wife's Mediterranean Bowl had greasy dark chicken with lots of fat. This was our second and last visit.
Olin C — Google review
I have to begin by expressing my discontent that Estella changed ownership and no longer serves Mexican food. The tacos here were awesome and I really can’t understand why new ownership decided to change the concept completely while operating under the same name. It was certainly confusing to sit down and see that the menu was now Mediterranean. I understand that everything is change, but this one just didn’t make sense. Furthermore, it’s weird to me that they changed the food menu completely, but kept the bar menu the same, maintaining focus on margaritas and other Mexican style drinks. A side note on service…I’m kinda over this type of concept where you come into a place and are unsure if you are getting table service or have to order for yourself at the bar. They mention on the menu very small at the bottom that a server will come, but no one in the room really makes that clear…it would be nice if some one would warmly greet you, show you to a table, and explain how the service works. In my opinion, this is even more important since you changed the whole concept and regular customers may be unfamiliar with the new operation. After not receiving much attention and unsure of how to proceed, I went up to the bar to place my order only to be told that someone would come to the table. The server came over promptly after that and was cordial, but really they need to commit more clearly to table service or not…especially since a tip reflective of proper service is expected. Also, if this is the case then why do I need to get my own water for the table. Then when the food comes out and we don’t have cutleries I have to get up again to ask because clearly no one is paying attention to these basic elements of proper service. Then the food…which honestly was mid. The dolmas were not good…rice under cooked and grape leaves too hard and tough to chew. The rest of the food was serviceable, but nothing special really. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and exacerbated by the fact that this establishment used to be one of our favorite places in town for bomb taco and super heady cocktails in a nice atmosphere.
LloydMan — Google review
I was disappointed. As a date night treat, I suggested the Estella because my husband enjoys Mediterranean food. I ordered the Mediterranean bowl with chicken. The meat was dark meat, which I wasn't expecting. My husband's lamb was strangely crispy. The service was not bad but not great.

Nestled along the Reno-Carson Highway, The Gas Lamp Restaurant & Bar is a must-visit for anyone seeking a relaxed dining experience away from the bustling casinos. This charming spot offers an enticing menu that ranges from hearty American classics like juicy steaks and burgers to delightful homemade ice cream. Their spicy garlic fries are a crowd favorite, sure to awaken your taste buds! The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it perfect for any occasion.
This is a great restaurant with some old school charm and a top notch kitchen. Great for a small group or a quiet date, and ofen a live 🎹 pianist is playing. This restaurant has been doing mid-town before mid-town was a thing...

We came for an early Sunday dinner. The staff is very friendly and the food was truly amazing! For apps we had the blue cheese garlic bread and the clams. Both were great. Ice cube salad was next and it was refreshing. I really enjoyed the candied pecans. We ordered the pork chop, the salmon, and the avocado chicken. Each was very good. The pork chop is huge and could not have been cooked better. I ate almost the whole thing. The salmon was tender and flaky with beautiful fruit flavors. The chicken tasted rich and juicy. The avocado cream was delightful. No room for dessert. Loved it. Can't wait to come back and try something else.

I went here for the first time recently and was taken off guard by how absolutely lovely it was on the inside. I came in in a crop top and the older woman greeting me treated me like I was in a ball gown. Staff were personable and genuine. Drinks were great but the food was phenomenal. Check out their happy hour and definitely get the tuna thing. There are several parking spaces off-street also.
Lauren P — Google review
The food was above average....and they weren't jerks about making me a vegan option despite it being a more meat and potatoes type of place... Which was nice. Very neutral atmosphere and not super loud which I'm also digging. Prices average. Drinks strong.
Jamie S — Google review
It has been 2 years since I first came here with my wife for our first Anniversary. Let's just say that it has been too long in between visits. Yes some of the menu items have changed but the quality has not dipped at all. They have consistently cooked delicious food each time I've come to their establishment. I try to order something different but each time I keep coming to the same old meal. When you get a 14 oz pork chop cooked to perfection though it's hard not to go back. I will be coming here as long as they are open. Great job everyone at the Gas Lamp!
Sam S — Google review
I now live out of town, but have been here in the past. Decided to bring my daughter (who is a foodie) for her first time. We really enjoyed our meal. Food has such delicious glavors. The service was the best part. Our waiter Oscar was outstanding, great personality and very sweet!! The owner presented us with the best home made almond roca ice cream, wow! We really like the atmosphere, sultry old fashioned flare.
Dana D — Google review
Hot August nights means everything close to the casino are booked full. So we tried something off the strip and to our delight found The Gas Lamp. While our waiter was new he made up for it in effort. The special was Braised spareribs and mashers with asparagus. Live piano from an older gentleman was appreciated. We even stayed for dessert and coffees, felt so comfortable. Well worth the money.
Amber — Google review
This is for happy hour only. We have been to The Gas Lamp multiple times to take advantage of their terrific Happy Hour menu. The food isn't the traditional pub food, so if that is what you are looking for, I would not come here. If you are looking for something different, then this is the place. We have tried most of the items that they offer, but we always get the steamed clams, and blue cheese garlic bread. The prices on alcohol is on par with most other happy hour deals. Come early, seating is very limited, as this is a restaurant, that has a bar.
