The Yiros Shop is a result of a quest for the authentic recipe for a genuine Yiros, which led to the creation of this establishment. Offering mouthwatering yiros filled with options like chicken, pork, lamb, halloumi, or veggies complemented by tzatziki and crispy chips at an affordable price. With multiple locations across Brisbane including Fortitude Valley, Newmarket, Cannon Hill, South Brisbane and Capalaba.
Love the $5 hash Sandy’s Went to pop into Maccas but saw the special sign at the traffic lights so we went in to check it out and boy did they provide, we went back for breakfast the following day too🤭

Usually swear by the Chicken Yiros with extra chicken for a filling protein laden meal but today I opted for the lamb. Paid $5 for extra lamb and the photo is the resulting product lmaooooooooooo. What was the manager staring down the line cooks soul when he was making my Yiros? Lovely service behind the counter though.
Osama ا — Google review
Usually really enjoy the Yiros Shop, but we recently got takeaway and received a “snack box” without any cheese or sauce. It was cold, dry and inedible :(
Alexandria B — Google review
Ordered lamb and received chicken - store was empty so being too busy wasn’t an issue. And the portion size was well below expectations. Terrible value $15.90!
Justin D — Google review
My partner and I came for breakfast. We love Yiros shop brekky, but this morning the quality was next level. The guy with the piercings is a legend and really went above and beyond with our food and my coffee. We could taste the level of care that he put into our food. We are very happy customers, and I hope we catch this guy on the grill again soon.
Jasmine N — Google review
More deceptive than Macca‘s! The breakfast box photo advertises streaky bacon and sunny-side-up eggs—what actually arrives is fully cooked fried eggs and the tiniest sprinkle of diced bacon bits. Sprinkled Bacon BITS. Blatant false advertising. Even when I’ve paid extra for meat, I barely receive any. Orders are frequently wrong, and it’s become a recurring issue. For a business that puts so much energy into social media to stay relevant, they might want to invest some of that effort into actually delivering what they advertise. Plenty of locals are better off heading to Zeus Greek Street at Windsor instead.
Chantal — Google review
I should have started documenting the amount of times I have come in and my order is incorrect. Something needs to be done about this. I’m paying for a service. I shouldn’t have to check every individual item seeing what they get paid to screw up. If you’re too incompetent to do the bare minimum job you get paid for then shut the place down. 10+ times I’ve been in and it goes as far as giving me the wrong meat or the entire wrong order.

Greek restaurant
Little Greek Taverna is a family-run restaurant located in West End, offering a bright and airy space to enjoy classic Greek dishes like spanakopita, souvla, moussaka, and pita wraps. The Parmaklis family brings regional flavors from Makedonia in the country's north to their menu. With a prime location at a busy intersection, diners can indulge in homely Greek plates while enjoying views of the bustling street scene.
The Standard delivers on both flavor and value, with generously filled daytime wraps priced at just $12. The lamb, in particular, stood out—tender, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. A simple but satisfying option that overperforms for its price point.
The M — Google review
Little Greek Taverna reaches for greatness but isn't quite able to grasp it. At least for me and my friends. What we loved: Servers were very kind and warm. Price was quite reasonable for value ($12 for a wrap is unheard of). Wraps were very tasty and filling. Food came quickly. I personally loved the baklava, and thought it great value for $8. What we didn't love: Chips were oily (tasted like old oil that needed replacing) and too salty. Halloumi was very oily and very salty. Food comes with napkin, so napkin comes half drenched in oil (amateur hour). I show this in the photo as it was given to me. Getting to the bathroom is not only complicated and hard, but it's situated in an area which can only be described as a crack den.
Pedro G — Google review
The baby octopuses were tasty but probably not worth the 45-minute wait. The prawns were a bit under-seasoned but fresh and nicely cooked. Staff were friendly, just seemed a bit rushed. Loved sitting under the mini sprinkler, it was a fun touch!
H W — Google review
Not sure if we ordered wrong dishes. The grilled octopus is $24 dollars for 3 tiny octopus tentacles… bbq prawns is passable but not much difference than I cooked at home…
Leon Z — Google review
It's going to be hard to top this lunch special I think. $12 for a pita bread is actually mind blowing. Added a side of chips to it and had enough food for the day I reckon easily. While we were in we also tried out some of the Saganaki cheese and it was unbelievable. Going to have to revisit and try out the rest of the menu considering the quality of the dishes I tried. Cheers
Luke S — Google review
Loved this little Greek restaurant. Reasonably valued food. Very fresh and tasty. I had the moussaka and my boyfriend had the gyros. Good portions. The wine was delicious! A good spot in the west end.

4 adults. We ate dinner ordering the Aegean Seafood Platter for 4. Excellent overall consisting of a good variety of seafood including 2 choice of dips, garlic prawns, prawns saganaki, chargrilled calamari/octopus and fish, greek salad, pita bread. Fuss free and a robust/cosy environment yet comfortable. Will earmark this place
TC K — Google review
We went here for my birthday dinner on a Sunday evening and absolutely loved it. I was with my family, and everything we tried was outstanding — both the starters and the mains. For starters, we ordered the tzatziki, eggplant dip, and fried cheese. The goat cheese was so delicious we had to order it twice. We also tried the sheftalies, which were quite tasty, and the baby calamari, which was tender and full of flavour. For mains, we shared the souvla and lamb chops — both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. Portions were generous, prices were very reasonable, and the overall quality exceeded our expectations. The only small downside was the limited drink options. Still, 5 out of 5 from us ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience in Brisbane, look no further than GRECA. This charming taverna is perfectly situated along the picturesque Howard Smith Wharves, offering stunning river views that enhance your meal. With a menu that celebrates contemporary Greek cuisine, you can indulge in dishes like moussaka and souvlaki while enjoying the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.
There's a high end attention to detail at Greca not only in the quality food but in the interior design of the restaurant. This is one of those restaurants you'll love to visit regularly. The views of the story bridge and Brisbane river is a perfect backdrop for any celebration. Thank you to the lovely staff that took note and great care with all of our dietary requirements and giving us the best service. Can't wait to come back!

We came here for a team dinner and it was pretty amazing. We had the $68 banquet. And I dont normally like Greek food but I was very impressed. The food was amazing and the service was excellent! The wait staff were really friendly and attentive. Im not sure if it was part of the service when you order a banquet but they cleared dirty plates and cutlery after the prawns dish and the main chicken dish, if there was mess or spills on the table they would clean that up too. Definitely felt like high end dining. We ordered the Full Greek banquet $68pp. King prawn saganaki, trahana and feta was delicious, the sauce it was in was delicious almost tasted abit like a curry, went really well with the pita bread. The chicken souvlakia was amazing, well seasoned, really tender and juicy, the potatoes with garlic and parsely were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with a slight hint of garlic - personally i think the potatoes could have been slightly smashed and it would be been even more amazing. Now im not usually a dessert person but the katoumari which was smashed filo with walnuts and cream was a perfect way to end the dinner. It was so light and tasty, the filo melts in your mouth with a perfect amount of sweetness. This was probably my favourite dessert.
Tina T — Google review
Food was excellent and big servings! Need to book so you can choose your seat. We ordered FULL GREEK which is 65PP! However, I am lactose intolerant and needed to be gluten free. The restaurant has adjusted some of the food for me which I really appreciate! There has been some delays with the servers which maybe due to a lot of customers dining in. That’s why I rated 4. Which I must say can be improved. Atmosphere is also 4 coz the seats are too close to each other and its difficult when you stand up without bothering other people. It’s just feedback that can still be improved. Overall, the food is great and we enjoyed a lot. Hope to be back here soon!

Wonderful dinner at Greca tonight. Location and service both delightful, with lovely river views and warm, attentive staff. The food was excellent across the starters, sides, mains and desserts and the cocktail menu was varied and well enjoyed. The standout dish was the avgolemono pie for dessert, the lemon curd crumble and marshmallow meringue was a 10/10. Another great restaurant from the Apollo group!

What a fantastic night out! The location, staff & food are all great. Amazing location on the water, under the bridge w the bustle and energy of the ward precinct all around you. Great value for money too, so much food! We had a range of fresh seafood, bead & dips, lamb w potatoes & salad.
Gabriel L — Google review
Me and my friends had the loveliest dinner at Greca during our stay in Brisbane. Food was tasty, fresh and worth the price. The fava dip with the pita bread is a must! Desserts were also good. But the best part was our waiter Jayden! He was super nice, giving us good recommendations and making our night x10 times better with how cheerful he was ✨
Sara G — Google review
Beautiful restaurant & great service which makes up for the food. It’s delicious & cooked well, I just feel I’ve had better Greek food. That being said I’ve been twice and would come again because the vibe is nice and the staff are friendly.
Natalie S — Google review
Mixed review for Greca; food was yum and flavourful, with generous portions - we got the feast to share between 5, the lamb was tender and broke apart seamlessly. Special mention goes to the tartare which was beautifully tasty. 1 of our company got some liquid spilled on her from a plate that was being cleared, there was a dismissive apology, no napkins or offers to clean the spill were proffered. Our water glasses stopped getting refilled after awhile, and we struggled to get a server's attention.

Nestled in the heart of West End, Lefkas Taverna is a charming eatery that invites you to indulge in classic Greek cuisine within its inviting blue-and-white decor, complete with exposed brick walls and a stunning mosaic bar. Since opening its doors in 1994, this beloved establishment has become a staple for locals seeking authentic flavors.
A great venue with lovely food and friendly staff. Our group visit was a party of 12, with an additional 2 people showing up at the last minute, which they accommodated. The staff was friendly from welcoming, seating, and attentive ordering, even though they were quite busy on a Saturday night. The food: Spanacopita: Like good spring rolls at a chinese restaurant, Spanacopita is a must for Greek, especially at Lefkas Taverna. While the pastry looked a little over cooked in my photo, the taste was fantastic. Note: it is filling and comes with 3 pieces. Htapoi (Grilled Baby Octopus): This is not only one of my must try dishes in Australia, but also internationally. This makes my current top 5 venues for grilled octopus. Cooked to perfection with all the right flavours. A must try! Fasolakia (green beans and potatoes): This dish had all the elements for good flavours and was cooked nicely. However, it was missing a little salt or punch in the tomato base. The decor of the restaurant is quite lovely, unfortunately, the far left interior dining room was very loud for the number of people due to the concrete walls, as sound bounces. This is something that could be dampened by some large greek canvas prints and wall plants. Overall, our group was fairly happy with the food. Only two agreed comments were the acoustics in that dining room, and some of the pricing in the upper $30 range was a little expensive for some dishes. A definite must visit around Brisbane if you're after Greek cuisine. A good 4.5 with only a few improvements needed. Congrats to the Chef's, FOH staff and owners, keep up the good work.

OMG this was a mind blowing restaurant, the food was Devine. The lemon potato's were heavenly. Service was great. Going back soon
Evan B — Google review
We had booked for 12:30 on a Saturday, but a traffic accident that slowed our journey meant a last minute change to 1:00, which was happily accommodated. There were some tables available when we arrived. We elected to sit outside, which was pleasant and comfortable, but moved inside as the sun moved across the table. The menu was very broad, with fabulous vegetarian, seafood and meat options. There were 4 of us and we ordered 3 entrees and 3 main meals. We also had desserts. This was about right. The drinks menu was also excellent, with cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic offerings. We had cocktails and they were amazing. The food arrived very quickly and was fresh and delicious. My beautiful wife rated the halloumi as the best ever, including her trips to Europe. The fish, chicken and lamb were all first rate. Each meat dish was cooked to perfection and the salad and vegetables were firm, with precisely the right amount of dressing. The whipped potato was a fabulous surprise. The staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem. The pricing was surprisingly fair, making this dining experience very good value. This was a superb experience.

Fantastic Greek restaurant with lovely lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great service and most importantly delicious food. We had the Lamb Yiros, Moussaka and a dip starter. The portions were generous and filling. The lamb was so soft and flavourful. The pita tasted very fresh. Overall an absolutely lovely experience and looking forward to come back and try more on the menu.

A great place with delicious food served quickly and a nice atmosphere featuring live music.

I celebrated my birthday here with a group of nearly 20 people. The booking process was smooth, and the staff accommodated a few modifications I requested. I appreciate the attentive service and the quality of the food. The servers were very accommodating and friendly, which made our experience more enjoyable. We enjoyed the banquet 2, which was quite filling, and the cocktails were very refreshing. We were seated in a nearly secluded area of the restaurant, which was pleasant. When we encountered a minor misunderstanding, the staff responded promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent customer service.
Cess — Google review
Had high exceptations for this Greek restaurant with the reviews and looking at the menu but unfortunately, some of the worst service we have encountered in years due to not enough staff to provide a good level of service. Waited 10-15 mins to get a seat even though we had booked, then almost 45 minutes for a starter of Saganaki which we found lacking in taste and seemed like it had been left for a while before been served. After advising the waiter we had waited sometime, the response was to blame the kitchen staff and say it was nothing to do with them, quite an interesting answer. Not long afterwards, a signature platter for 2 with Chicken & lamb souvlaki, octopus, calamari, haloumi, tzatziki, pita was served. Octopus was way over cooked, making it almost inedible and the calamari had no virtually no seasoning. Only saving grace was the Lamb skewers, tzatziki and pita but still a little on the tough side and a little fatty. We were sat by an open window outside but could not hear the music inside as the noise level pretty much matched the Gabba. Not an enjoyable experience and no plans to return, not with the quality of a lot of other Greek restaurants been so high in Brisbane.

Is there anything better than your family experiencing a great night out together, being well looked after by people who know what they are doing? You cannot go wrong at Lefkas Taverna, West End. My family were so warmly welcomed and taken care of. No small feat when there were 26 of us in attendance one busy Saturday night. John, Maria & all the staff were an absolute delight. The food was mouthwatering! Every single dish lived up to expectations and my family were very impressed with Banquet number 2. The dishes covered a range of tastes, and the portions were generous in size. Food intolerances and allergies were patiently observed, so kindly too, with no hint it was a bother. Dining in Brisbane on a Saturday night can be hit or miss. Sometimes the food or service provided can disappoint. BUT Lefkas was a bullseye for both! Big shout out to the Kitchen! We see you! Keep up the great work! Well done, Lefkas!

Nestled in South Brisbane, Nostimo Restaurant Bar, also known as The Greek Club, has been a beloved destination for authentic Greek cuisine since 1975. This iconic venue underwent a stunning renovation in 2018 and continues to charm visitors with its warm atmosphere and inviting decor that evokes the essence of Greece.
Wonderful place to get some delicious Greek food. My family and I had a birthday celebration here, and the food was well portioned, presented beautifully, and tasty. The drinks were refreshing, and the staff were kind and prompt. I loved the traditional family feel of the place, and the beautiful view.

The food was absolutely delicious and authentically Greek truly a treat for the taste buds! A well-deserved 5 stars for the talented chefs, especially Chef Chiara, who kindly recommended us. Every dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and brought me right back to the beautiful streets of Greece. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with décor that truly transported us. The service was also excellent friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic Greek dining experience!

We ordered the 8 course banquet for our group. The servings for each course were more than enough and delicious. From the dips, salads, main and dessert. The service was great too. Sydney and Khauleen who served us were always attentive and courteous! We had a great night- enjoyed the food and service!

Was so disappointed in the service as we waited an hour + to be served our mains which were rather tasteless. The saganaki was absolutely divine and almost made up for it. We were given complimentary desserts and tea/coffee with the desserts delicious which were appreciated but we still had to wait a long time to order them and again, to pay the bill. They weren’t overly busy at all so it was disappointing as the view is great & parts of the meal delicious.

Had a beautiful Greek lunch and it was suburb! The beef was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The calamari fresh, light and zesty. The Greek salad was traditional and very generous with the feta. Great music and atmosphere.

Best experience and the best Greek food in Brisbane. The staff are amazing and the chefs are engaging and knowledgeable. Everyone included you as if it was family. We can’t wait to go back.

We had 15 people for lunch and did the Apollo banquet (+chicken). Amazing value for money, so much food and it was all delicious. Staff were very accommodating. We had 2 gluten allergies and they were served delicious substitutes for every plate that wasn’t gluten free. No problems splitting the bill for 15 people. Sat on the balcony - great view/atmosphere and good in winter because they have very warm heaters. I have nothing bad to say - what a great venue!

Finally found somewhere to eat after taking an evening stroll. Great choice and tasty feed after 1.5km walk. Greek Street food was perfect. Had pita wraps and a chicken bowl and zuchinni fries and haloumi fries, oh and Greek donut balls with Nutella. Definitely recommend. Atmosphere was average, but ok. Service ok, had to asked to get the table wiped. Ordered from Qr code on table. Family of 4 that travels, eats and reviews . Lamb pita very nice

Incredible 10/10. We had the Zeus Banquet today for lunch and the food matches the service. We were served by Aisa who was an absolute highlight for us - so attentive and professional, she really made the experience very memorable and even brought us a special birthday dessert. The Calamari was divine, the pita bread and Tzatziki were also bang on - so fresh and excellent quality. Very nice restaurant setting, beautiful atmosphere. Thank you Aisa.

First time at Zeus. I'm a pretty picky meat lover and their Zeus pita was excellent. Food came really quick as well. An observation - Grace was very on the ball and great hospitality staff. She knew what to do next and was always working. Seriously the ideal hospitality staff. I hope she's recognized

Very expensive at $29 for lamb spartan without any veg (add veg would cost extra) as compared to the ZSG on Ann Street Fortitude Valley. Lamb didn't taste anything special so were the pita bread. Would rather go to the Ann St where theirs has veg at only $20.50

Looking for somewhere reasonably quick to have dinner before our evening at the theatre, we tried Zeus Street Greek. From ordering on the app while seated at our table, to delivery of drinks and food, everything was timely and efficient, with friendly service. We ordered the Halloumi Spartan Bowls and Tzinger Pita Wrap, all of which were delicious. Zeus Street Greek is well located within the dining precinct along Little Stanley Street. We look forward to dining here again when we're at South Bank.

Just had dinner there a couple of hours ago. Pretty cool place to go to with outdoor dining area. Staff were somewhat attentive to customers and very friendly. Pricing is reasonable for what you get and location. I did ask for a few extra bits and pieces to be added to my pita and after taking a couple of bites of my meal it wasn't correct. They made me a new one and not just add more ingredients into the one I sent back, very impressed. Just the perfect attitude a restaurant should have. Great job manager!
Merina D — Google review
I dined at Zeus with my family last night and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. I ordered the Spartan Bowl, but the coleslaw was extremely salty and inedible. The tzatziki dip, which was supposed to be included, was missing, and the chicken was very dry. These issues made it difficult to enjoy the meal. I’ve enjoyed Zeus in the past, so this was disappointing.

Yamas Greek & Drink is a popular spot for those seeking a great Greek dining experience. The restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying cocktails and share plates with friends. Dishes like halloumi fries and lamb souvla are highly recommended, and the rice is particularly noteworthy. Additionally, the restaurant accepts gift vouchers that can also be used at its sister venues. Despite being busy, Yamas accommodated a group of four on a Sunday night without much wait.
I had a wonderful experience at Yamas! The food was really nice—flavourful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The whole place has such a charming and inviting layout, which makes the atmosphere feel both relaxed and lively. It’s definitely a popular spot, so I highly recommend booking in advance, as it’s almost always packed. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

Loved the decor and overall look of this place. Celebrated back-to-back birthdays and ordered the Zeus Banquet for lunch. Everything was delicious. The lamb tender, moist and perfectly cooked, along with the chicken. The calamari was also nicely done. Struggled to finish the main dishes and ended up taking them home. The wait staff are friendly and the service is quick. Received a nice surprise for our birthdays at the end of our epic meal. Thank you team Yamas. It was a lovely gesture and we shall return.

We had such a great time at Yamas West End! The whole experience felt like a little escape to Greece — beautiful atmosphere, amazing service, and food that’s full of flavour and freshness. Every plate that came out was spot-on — from the seafood to the dips and the lamb, everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly, easygoing, and really made us feel welcome. You can tell the team here loves what they do. It’s the kind of place you want to come back to again and again — whether it’s for a relaxed dinner with friends or something a bit special. Definitely one of the best spots in West End.

Yamas is a great spot for modern Greek dining with beautiful presentation and bold flavours. The pita with dip was fresh and tasty, while the octopus and lamb dishes were the highlights of the night. Portions were generous and perfect for sharing, and everything was cooked perfectly. The cocktails also looked very popular and beautifully presented – will definitely try them next time. A lovely place to enjoy dinner out with my wife.

Best food in Brisbane in my eyes , we did the Spartan banquet for our wedding anniversary and all meals were a 10/10. I also told them I am pregnant and they kindly changed some dips and sauces so it was safe for my baby. AMAZING place!

We had such an amazing experience at Yamas. The ambience was gorgeous and our seating was so comfortable. We had the Zeus banquet and the food was absolutely delicious and such good value for money. Service was also 10/10 and the timing of the courses was perfect. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to all of my friends!
Summer G — Google review
I was unfortunately at least 30 minutes late to my reservation this evening due to travelling to the wrong venue. Yamas staff were kind enough to not only allow us to keep our reservation- but still catered for the set menu and dietary requirements initially made. The food was honestly amazing and the service was incredible. The calamari was the best we have had. Thank you and we will definitely be back.

We’ve been here a lot and always get the same Olympian banquet. It was delicious as always and the portions are really big! They have amazing gluten free pita bread, I was so excited that they had this option! They also changed a dessert for me to be gluten free!

Lemoni Greek Cuzina is a top-notch restaurant that specializes in authentic Greek cuisine. The walls are adorned with murals of Greek gods, and there's live belly dancing on certain nights. All of the food is made from high-quality ingredients, and you can enjoy classic home-style recipes at this establishment.
I came here for my birthday dinner and felt welcomed and special from the moment I arrived. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. I ordered the grilled swordfish, sour cherry sparkling mineral water, and chocolate mousse for dessert—each dish was served promptly despite the restaurant being busy. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Finally went to Lemoni after walking past for years. Booking is required as it’s a popular restaurant-I can see why! Owner was very accommodating of seating preferences-great ambiance with live music. Meals were delicious-particulars favourite were the octopus entree, chocolate mousse and Turkish delight ice cream. Drinks were also good. Traditional Greek experience with a personal touch-very much reminded us of our time in Melbourne. Highly recommend for a special evening out.

Everything was amazing from start to finish. Every bite was magical, the best is the lamb which I keep coming back for! The host was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Everything came out very quickly and was super delicious. Highly recommend!!

What a lovely dinner last night! The food was fresh, tasty, and full of that homemade Greek soul. 👌🏽 The moussaka was delicious, and the grilled meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned. What made the experience even more special was the warm and personal treatment, specially from the gentleman who looked after us with fun friendly vibes. It really felt like we were being welcomed into a family table. (We miss that vibe, and Lemoni made us feel it again) We’ll come back 🫶🏽

We cancelled our reservation at another restaurant to swoop in and get the last table available for the evening, and we were absolutely blown away! Amazing service, fantastic food and drinks, fabulous music and atmosphere. Could not have been a more fantastic night! Thank you to the whole team ❤️🇬🇷

The food at Lemoni Greek Cuzina was tasty and full of flavor, though a bit too fatty for my taste. I also tried a dessert—it was decent, but nothing special. Overall, a solid meal, just not quite at that 5-star level for me.

What a wonderful cute greek restaurant. The live music on a Saturday night was a fantastic bonus. We walked-in, but everyone else seemed to have a booking. We had the Lemoni Souvlaki Mixed as well as the squid, and both dishes were truly spectacular. The service is immaculate, would recommend any day!

Cannot recommend this place enough. The staff were all extremely accomodating and went above and beyond. The food was absolutely phenomenal and definitely have the best dolmathes I’ve had! The taramosalata was so good we ordered a second serving. Thank you all for a fantastic night and for being so accomodating with our newborn - it was my birthday dinner and my first night out since having the baby and it was incredible!

The restaurant boasts a beautiful setting with live music, creating a fantastic atmosphere for guests. The food is exceptional, featuring generous portions of authentic Greek dishes made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Visitors highly recommend the trio of dips with pita, mousakka, and lamb souvlaki. Additionally, the wine selection includes genuine wines from Santorini, adding to the authenticity of the experience.
Always great food and even better service every time we dine there. George and his beautiful family looks after us so well. The food is phenomenal and just so delicious. We brought our closest family and friends to help celebrate my husband’s birthday and they impressed everyone. From the wine, to entrees, mains and desserts. Just the best! Thank you!

I've visited a few times now (always on a Wednesday night) and have really enjoyed the friendly, attentive service and the amazing food! Prices are a little on the higher side, but I think it's worth it as re portions are great and the food incredibly tasty. Both times the owner has come by to our table to say hello and ask how everything is... What great service! Definitely coming back, this will be a regular on our dining out list! Thank you!

Went here for a wedding on the weekend would highly recommend. The service was impeccable the owner was a beautiful man. Was trying his utmost to find a wine we liked, offered blankets because it was raining and cold. Put heaters on. Joined in with the party. Food was amazing service was constant clearing tables offering drinks. Dinner or functions I would highly recommend

Awesome discover for us, we wanted authentic Mediterranean food and that’s what we got. To start, prawn salad with feta and an amazing dip with pita bread to share, but we couldn’t miss the goat milk cheese pan fried. Spectacular! The cheese was soft and crunchy at the same time, without being as salty as halloumi. It’s really a must if you like grilled cheese. For the mains, I’ll recommend sharing as the portions are quite big. After following the recommendations from our nice waiter, we ordered the slow cooked lamb with veggies and cheese. Epic! It is enough to fill two hungry people. Service was nice and considerate with recommendations and patiences when we were deciding. It is a good spot near gasworks and the restaurant makes you feel in the middle of Santorini. So charming

Was amazing! From arriving and being seated very quickly, our waitstaff were amazing with really great suggestions! Appetisers were brought out very quickly and was very yummy and fresh. We ordered the trio of dips, Grilled octopus (Htapodi) and the grilled mushrooms (Manitaria Gemista) Fair warning though, the service sizes are generous, and very yummy, I couldn't stop eating my lamb pasta (Youvetsi) as it's the best I've ever had! The calamari and chips (Tiganito Kalamari) had some amazing seasoning on it and was really really good! Very happy couple and will be back!

I live right around the corner and have done so for years, but only paid my first visit to this absolute gem of Newstead, last night! The service was top quality, the vibrance of the place was Greek to a tee, the food was the best Greek in Brisbane! To top it all off, the cost was more than reasonable for the whole menu! I will 100% be back!

Had an amazing first time experience here, celebrating my dad's birthday. First thing he said was 'Fantastic, they know how to cook with salt!'. Super friendly and attentive staff, genuine authentic greek food with great music and ambience. Thank you. We will be back.

Had lunch here with my girlfriend. The waitress/cashier was excellent. Very friendly and attentive and has a bubbly and fun personality. The food was amazing. Trio dips to start and for mains my girlfriend had a chicken gyros and I had the meatballs with salad and rice and chips. The atmosphere is great with nice Greek music and decorations. Cant wait to go back!

Good menu and very enjoyable food at a reasonable price. We shared some appetizers. The triple dip was very good. Also had two hot ones, spanakopita and a stuffed eggplant. Both were great. Then for mains I had the fried calamari. Was also excellent. My father in law had the prawns in a tomato uzo sauce. Was great too. I recommend this restaurant for a good meal and nice change from pub food.

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere. We had a meat platter and a vegetarian moussaka as well as the obligatory haloumi and it was all excellent. Dessert was also delicious, near baklava I've ever had. Will definitely be coming back again and recommending to friends.

Great time had by all ! Great food ! Service excellent, although not helped by our inability to speak Greek, or hilariously, even remember much of the description in English. The staff were patient and only amused by our lack of helpfulness. Huge portions. I fell in love with haloumi - which is a type of cheese that seems to be grilled. Loved it !!
Lea B — Google review
We ordered from Uber Eats, having never tried this restaurant before. The food was all absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh. The tzatziki was really robust and nicely garlicky. The hot dishes had cooled down a bit but heated up well in the microwave. The only thing that didn't travel particularly well was the chips but we actually didn't need them with the rest of the delicious food. Will definitely order again.
