Restaurant
Sea Captain's House is a renowned seafood restaurant located in a charming 1930s cottage overlooking the ocean. It has received numerous awards and accolades, including being named the Best Seafood Restaurant by various publications. With over 50 years of tradition, this oceanfront establishment offers some of the freshest seafood in Myrtle Beach, accompanied by stunning views of the Atlantic.
What an awesome experience. The service was amazing. My wife and I visited for dinner. We order the Crab cakes and She Crab soup for appetizers. They bring hush puppies with honey butter as well. All three were delightful. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass and I ordered the Pecan Crusted Grouper. The meal was prepared well and delicious. We highly recommend visiting.

Stopped by this American seafood restaurant for dinner and had a solid experience overall. While the prices were definitely on the higher end, the quality of the food and service helped justify the cost. The atmosphere was one of the highlights—relaxed, inviting, and tastefully decorated with coastal vibes that made it perfect for a seafood night out. Whether you’re on a date or dining with friends, it sets the right mood. Service was excellent—friendly, prompt, and attentive without being overbearing. Staff made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal, and the timing between courses was just right. The food itself was good—not mind-blowing, but well-cooked and fresh. If you don’t mind spending a little extra for a nice night out with great ambiance and service, this place is worth a visit.

Such a great view outside! Comfortable atmosphere and great refreshing food! Blew my expectations away!! Got the crab dip wich was amazing- and whipped which was a first. Also for the salmon and avacado wrap- very refreshing. Hummingbird cake for dessert was also delicious and made in house!

This is like stepping back into the 1950’s in terms of the decor, the menu, and the general atmosphere. The prices are not from the ‘50s though - think mid range steakhouse. There were three to five people standing around at all points in time but the service was slow and inattentive. The food was fresh, but not something I would want to eat again. Generally I would recommend against choosing this restaurant. There are better places to spend your money. Goodness, I just looked at the prices again - what a joke!

Food was delicious. Environment was very nice and enjoyable. Ocean view with beautiful sunset. Musician entertainment was great. Service was struggling, the bartender was stuck trying to tend the bar as well as wait tables and he was stretched too thin. I felt bad for him. Our Margherita's were really sour and we mentioned it to him when we ordered another one and it was still way too sour.

I have been going to Sea Captains’s House for years! The food just keeps getting better. The seafood is so fresh. The batter on the fried seafood is so light! The selection for no seafood lovers is good. A must for everyone’s Myrtle vacation!

Food and atmosphere were great. We enjoyed some wine and fresh seafood. A great choice if you’re looking for a nice view. Our waitress Cassandra was attentive and friendly. We’ll be back if in SC again.
Joyce O — Google review
Location is perfect. Waitress was very attentive. Food is good but a bit pricey. Filet was cooked perfect. Crab dip was the best thing on the menu. The baked potato is cooked already cut open. By the time it comes out the top is very hard, crunchy and there's barely any edible potato. $100+ for one person 1 appetizer, a cocktail, dinner meal and dessert. Its good, but take your wallet and be prepared. Oh and the live music was a definite bonus. I will add the waitress asked the bartender to help take a table. She refused. Made a comment to her 3 customers sitting at the outdoor bar that she wasn't doing that and taking a big party (there was no big party at that time). That was not the time or place. That should've been figured out before you get in front of your customers.

This seafood restaurant features an extensive buffet with a variety of seafood items to choose from. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is welcoming. It's perfect for families who want to indulge in some good food without spending too much money.
The perfect experience! Visiting here with my grandparents and it was a delight. The service from Christian and Brian were so kind and attentive. The buffet had a million options everything from crab, mussels, oysters, shrimp, fish tacos, soup, salad, steak, brisket, chicken anything you could imagine they had! The dessert bar was fabulous as well lots of cakes and pudding and ice cream. Come before 4:30pm and it’s $3 off! Well worth the $49.99 price tag. Come hungry!

Wow, the best buffet I've ever went to. Food was full of flavor, hot and fresh. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were nice and attentive. My waitresses were Sophie and her brother, they are the best!!! Super kind and kept checking on my table to ensure a positive experience. If you are a fan of oysters- you have to try the oyster Rockefeller here! 20 out of 10 for everything....I also enjoyed the hush puppies, shrimp, and the spicy butter sauce options with the crab legs, so yummy!! If you are deciding what seafood buffet to visit, here's your answer!!

LISTEN UP AND HEAR ME WELL, THIS IS THE BEST BUFFET I HAVE EVER SEEN OR BEEN TO THAT WASNT IN LAS VEGAS! This place is a seafood lovers dream!!! All you can eat crab legs, mussels clams, shrimp, brisket, ribs, wings fried chicken, salads and on and on etc!!!! And they have multiple stations of crab legs so your not fighting with people at one spot. The food just kept coming out hot and ready! They even have a small sports bar area for those that wanna eat some shrimp and watch the games. It's is SUPER clean and very well organized from the entry to the seating and the waiters don't miss a beat!!!! I couldn't believe how big this place is either. Whomever owns this place definitely understands their customer market. I have 0 complaints and we are actually picky about eating buffets after COVID but this Captain George's place i would visit on repeat anytime we visit here. Don't be afraid of the line when you see it packed because they have a process to seat on party size, it's really good and our wait time from getting out the car to seating on Saturday Labor Day weekend at 7pm, was only 18 minutes.

Sunday is $5 off buffet meal per person so it is 45$ instead of $50 basically. We usually get an all you can eat crab legs dinner when we visit the beach and it's $50 or more per person with only corn, hush puppies or sausage, The buffet is worth it for sure! The buffet was fully stocked with dozens of choices and fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Jim was out waitor and he was extremely nice and fun. My mother and I went for crab legs and had our fill, as well as so many other great options from the buffet. I got a drink from the bar, bartender was very nice and made me a great Moscow mule. He had a eagles jersey on so of course I loved that! Everything was really great for us and the dessert bar is huge compared to other local eateries. I do wish it was acceptable to take a dessert home with you after. We were so full from crab legs and other foods from the buffet that we didn't get much dessert. It may be an available option to take a piece of cake or something to go. I will remember that for next time to ask. All in all, great meal and dinning experience.

I visited on a Thursday night for dinner. It was 49.99 + 3.99 for a drink. You'd think for that price your drink would be included. Small variety of food. I'm rating it a 2 because some of the food was good. Crab was super salty. It's not worth the money and I wont be coming back or recommending. The staff did an awesome job. It was clean and a beautiful establishment.
Amanda P — Google review
My friend and I visited Myrtle Beach last week and stayed just for a day. For dinner, we decided to try some seafood, and this restaurant immediately caught our attention. It turned out to be such a great choice! The buffet had an amazing variety of delicious options, and the staff were incredibly friendly and respectful. We truly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be coming back. In fact, right after dinner, I called my friends to recommend this place in case they ever visit Myrtle Beach—it’s worth it!
Julia M — Google review
I thought I was going to the place I visited two years ago, but it turned out to be a different location. The food was overall pretty good. My favorite crab legs were a bit too salty, which was a little disappointing, but having three crab leg stations meant I didn’t have to wait long, which was really convenient. Also a very friendly server! 8/31/2025 Sun. 재방문의사는 없음. 다른 뷔페가기!

This might be the coolest buffet I've ever been! On my way here, I was awestruck at the size of the restaurant itself. It's like a mansion from the outside. There's plenty of free parking spots all around the building. There are two lines - the right side entrance is for parties under four; the left side entrance is for larger parties. I see that families like to come here. Adults are $49.99 for dinner. They close at 9 PM. Soft drinks are an additional $3.99 charge per person. I got water, and they were pretty attentive to having it refilled. As I entered, I immediately noticed the ship that served the food. It was so cool. I saw a family taking pictures in front of it. Then I realized there were two more ships behind it. You get plates from the bottom shelf and self-serve food on the counters. Lines form on either side. It's a buffet! Y'all can't expect fine dining quality here. The food here is good for a buffet. Having unlimited crab legs is a plus. Fried chicken, fried shrimp, bang bang shrimp, fried oysters, and fried scallops were notable to me. Oh, and also the dinner rolls. I like that the restaurant strategically placed crab legs in all stations to spread out the lines. Then there was a whole dessert section in the back of the restaurant. There were two soft serve dispensers, and they have cones too. The ice cream was actually really good. At each table, they have a big bowl to throw away crab legs (and other food). This place is huge; there are so many rooms. So naturally there are so many servers. There's just a lot of people walking around. The bathroom is closer to the front by the T-shirt store. I saw an ATM machine there too. I didn't try other seafood buffets in town (there are so many), but I'm glad I got to visit Captain George's!

Restaurant
Hook & Barrel is a trendy seafood restaurant located in Myrtle Beach, offering a chic nautical ambiance and an extensive selection of local seafood paired with fine wines and spirits. Situated in the exclusive Dunes section of town, this upscale eatery places a strong emphasis on fresh seafood as the star of its menu. Guests can indulge in the Harvest of the Sea special, allowing them to select their preferred fresh catch, preparation style, and house-made sauce.
We visited while on vacation and had a truly wonderful experience! I had the blackened salmon, and my partner got the braised beef short ribs—both were absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. We also got drinks and shared the fish bites, which were amazing. The complimentary pimento cheese was a fun and tasty surprise! Our server, Shelby, was super friendly and attentive. We didn’t have a reservation but were seated right away around 4 PM (though it was getting busy when we left, so reservations are probably a good idea). We were sat in the wine room, which was quiet and cozy, and the overall atmosphere was so unique. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and amazing food! We had she crab soup, fish bites and the seafood tower. Everything was very fresh and delicious! We were in the mood for a seafood tower and found the perfect place! They even gave us a free dessert for our anniversary!
Nicole O — Google review
This was a very pleasant experience for our group. We made reservations for a group of ten. When we arrived, we were seated promptly. Our server was on top of everything and very knowledgeable of the menu items. She took our drink order and brought them out quickly, along with Pimento Cheese and Crackers. There are great options for starters. Our table shared Shrimp Ceviche, BLT Sliders, Flatbread, Bomber Shrimp, Cheese and Charcuterie, and Fish Bites…all of which were good. The main courses we chose were all delicious. My personal choice were the Crab Cakes, with garlic mashed potatoes and amazing brussel sprouts, while my wife got the Crab-stuffed Flounder. I highly recommend the flounder. Others in our group had dishes of Roasted Chicken Breast, Coastal Ribeye, and Crab Lump soup. All reports were positive, with the exception of the macaroni and cheese side dish, which lacked flavor. I tasted it and agree it was bland. When it came time for desserts, we were really in for a treat…pun intended. The Pumpkin Cheesecake was my favorite. I love cheesecake and had never had that flavor. The Pineapple Bread Pudding was also excellent, but I also love pineapple. The Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet were both a hit with our group, as well. Overall, everyone was satisfied with the service and food, leaving very happy. The atmosphere was very nice, and we were very comfortable. It feels like an upscale restaurant and the experience we had matches that. Great service and great food!

We had such a wonderful dinner at Hook & Barrel! We started with the house lavash bread and pimento cheese — they even brought out a special gluten-free toast for me, which I really appreciated. The gluten-free fish bites were baked and perfectly seasoned, paired with a creamy mustard dipping sauce that was addicting. The garlic white wine mussels were steamed to perfection! Preston ordered the ginger pear martini — very sweet and easy to drink. For entrées, the fresh catch of the day was a whole rainbow trout, beautifully filleted and served over a rich cashew cream sauce. I added a side of saffron and date rice, which was full of flavor and complemented the fish perfectly. Preston got the crab cakes with Brussels sprouts and creamed cauliflower — the crab cake was gluten-free (a rare and delightful treat for me!) and absolutely delicious. I also loved that the menu clearly marked which dishes could be made gluten-free — it made ordering so easy and stress-free. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Joe, Saddona, and Adam took amazing care of us and made the whole experience feel special. We’ll definitely be back!

This place was recommend to us for a must try while down in Myrtle Beach and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. Service was exceptional and all the staff was polite and helpful. We each started off with salads and they were great. They give you a complimentary pimento cheese and cracker board, which was excellent. I did the stuffed flounder with crab and it was delicious. If you’re in the area I highly recommend it as well.

Today my husband took me to Hook & Barrel for my Birthday. We live in Brunswick County NC but have passed by and have always wanted to try this place. OMG it was absolutely amazing!! It is such an upscale restaurant. Our server Tiannamarie was awesome. She was so helpful and was so attentive. The food was so delicious and totally high end. I can't wait to go back. If you haven't gone yet you have to go immediately. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
Sue T — Google review
First, make a reservation! Monday night was slam-packed-full! But reservation was perfect, right on time, and seating was less than a minute after checking in. Despite the sheer volume of guests dining, the service was quick, efficient, and attentive. Starters were fish bites and Oysters Heidi. The fish was done nicely and the dipping sauce was perfect with just the right amount of spice. Oysters were very good and ended our starting round pleasantly. A tray with a type of Pimento cheese and seasoned crackers bridged the gap between start and entrée while encouraging community and communication. Entrées were the seafood pasta and the seared scallops. Pasta was plentiful and full enough of seafood that you didn't feel you were missing anything. The scallops were good... but flavor didn't seem to be as developed as others I have had. Maybe the sear was just off? Still a great dish, obviously, when that's the only thing you can say felt different for others! We declined dessert, and yet there appeared a small celebration cake! Apparently someone had told them there was a birthday... Our next visit to Myrtle Beach will certainly include a dinner here again!

Steak house
Restaurant
Fire & Smoke is a popular gastropub located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Since its opening in 2014, it has gained a strong following for its handcrafted cocktails and upscale American cuisine. The menu features a variety of enticing options, including Wild Boar Meatloaf, Chophouse Truffle Burger, Seafood Jambalaya, Mountain River Elk Chops, and Prime Lamb Chops.
I have dined here a few times with my friend had a great time sitting at the bar and meeting new friends. Food presentation is gorgeous and it tastes just as good. Carrot curry soup had a great flavor profile and I am still thinking about it. The pork belly just melts in your mouth. I got to full for the chicken but had to try some and it has a great flavor to it.

My best friend and I had a wonderful dinner at Fire and Smoke. She had the lamb chops and said they were delicious. My filet was and cooked to perfection. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. Only complaint was the cake it was a bit to dry for us but other than that it we had a great time.

We ate here on a recommendation for a nice place with good steak for our daughter’s birthday. It was outstanding - our daughter said it was the best filet she has ever had. I enjoyed the Long Island Strip steak - the charred flavor is unique and so tasty. We also liked our appetizers which were also delicious. We were tempted to return even though we were only in Myrtle Beach for 3 nights, it was that good. Would definitely return.
Brian L — Google review
Food is incredible and consistent as this was my 7th or 8th time dining there over the past 3 years - always a must go to when I am in Myrtle Beach. Food portions are appropriate for the course and beautifully presented. Enjoy sitting at the bar as the locals and Alex (bartender) are great to talk to. Many specialty cocktails offered - never have had a bad one as I like to try different cocktails each visit. They care about their customers as the owners/chef will often visit to make sure everything is okay and that you are happy. Going back again next week before leaving town.

What a great dinner. All of the food was prepared perfectly. I started with the scallop appetizer. Perfectly cleaned and cooked. Best scallops I've had in years. The beet carpaccio was fantastic and the smoked sea salt to finish it was an excellent addition to the dish. I had the elk chops for my entree. I am now an elk chop lover. The chops were tender and cooked to my request at medium rare. I highly recommend eating here. It is definitely worth the price.
Louis B — Google review
This was our first time at this restaurant. I chose it for my birthday dinner. I reserved the table 2 weeks prior to our going. We were sat all the way in the back by the kitchen and bathrooms (strike 1) no the restaurant wasn’t full and other tables WERE available. It took about 15-20 mins for our server to come greet us (strike 2). No lamb chops were available (strike 3) so we orders 2 medium (temperature) plates of the elk chops. The server asked if we were sharing a plate we both said NO. Only 1 plate was bought out to the table. We both looked at each other and asked where the other plate was. He said oh I assumed you were going to share a plate. We asked for it to be packed and we paid the check and left. We had more than enough to pay that check plus the rest of the restaurants. But to assume we couldn’t was a slap in the face. Then he packed the meal without the glaze on the chops. That was the highlight of the meal. And for strikes 4-10 they gave us burned food! They will never see another penny of my money. And all of that I still left the server a $25 tip! Needless to say my birthday meal was not how I would’ve wanted it to go.
Artrina R — Google review
We were a party of 4 with no one else in the restaurant, and Took 45 min to get our food. Steak was looking so raw we asked waiter (who was very nice) to take it back and correct it. Between me and my wife, 2 plates , 2 drinks and Tip… our meal was $212!!!! The steak when corrected was ok. The ambiance and visuals inside is very boring and plain, and super humid inside. Experience is no where near that $ amount at all. Highly disappointed

If you don't research the food places in this area, you are bunch to miss this gem. We called all over town trying to find an upscale eatery to celebrate our honeymoon. As soon as the host answered the phone we knew this was the place. Amazing food! I had the Elk (house special) and the Mrs has Lobster escargot. For drinks I had the smokey glass bourbon. Then...the dessert...I mean WOW. 12 layer caramel delishiousness and a house made Nutella dish. 10/10 absolutely recommended for a upscale experience.

Seafood restaurant
This Myrtle Beach seafood restaurant provides straightforward fish dishes on paper plates for lunch and dinner. The market features local and seasonal catches, making it a great option for seafood lovers. The restaurant is casual, but the kitchen manages to produce some of the best seafood around.
Great find! We aren’t buffet fans and this was the perfect place to get seafood! Staff greeted us right away, service was excellent, food was delicious, portion sizes on point, and prices fair. We loved it!

My son & I ate Mrs. Fish with some friends while we were on vacation. they found it online, it was nearby & is seafood on a budget. The restaurant was in a strip mall with diagonal parking spots out front. It's easy to miss. There were 4-5 homeless people sitting around outside while we were there. Inside is kinda run down. The other ladies got haddock, but i had grilled chicken. It was extremely dry & bland. They don't have pickles or mustard. Nasty fries are served with every meal. The kids didn't like the burgers, chicken or fries. & they charged 20% on bill for parties of 5+

Delicious seafood! Fresh haddock, salmon and shrimp were a hit! Good price, generous portions. Hot, freshly cooked. Handcut fries. Hushpuppies and Cole slaw were great too. Very friendly staff. A pleasant surprise to find! Thank you Beth and Greg for introducing us to "Mrs. Fish".

First time visiting! I was Googling lunch places and found Mrs Fish. It wasn't far from the hotel And was near another place I wanted to try. I was flabbergasted that I'd never heard of the place and had ridden by over the years! I'm so glad I went because it was Delicious 😋! I wanted to try the scallops but they were sold out 😔. The calamari was the backup but they they did NOT disappoint!! The seasoning on the fries was chef's kiss too. The server, Brittany (if I remember correctly), was a joy as well. I had her laughing and we talked about music and the artwork in the restaurant. It was a really good time and I can't wait to go back.

My husband and I ate here for lunch and had the grilled grouper and shrimp. The food was fantastic, loved the fries. It's not fancy, but the food was better than an expensive restaurant we ate at earlier in the week. Will definitely be coming back here on our yearly trip. The waitress was sweet and helpful, running the dining room by herself but very efficient.

WOW!! The crab here is spectacular! The batter they use to fry the food here is immaculately seasoned all the way through. Would 100% come here again, and I plan on ordering double the amount I did!!!

5/5 Stars: Mrs. Fish is the REAL Deal! Unbeatable Value & Flavor! Forget the fancy seafood spots—Mrs. Fish is where it's at if you want freshness, quality, and genuinely low prices. This place is no-frills, and that's exactly why it shines. They focus 100% on the food, and it shows. The fish meal I had was spectacular—perfectly cooked, flaky, and tasted like it just came off the boat. You simply cannot beat the quality of the fish here for the price point. But let's talk sides, because they are just as impressive. The fresh sides were delicious and clearly prepared with care. And the hand-cut fries? Seriously, they are cooked perfectly; crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. If you're looking for a delicious, fresh seafood meal that won't empty your wallet, Mrs. Fish is a must-try. This is my new go-to.

A cozy, quiet, local fresh seafood restaurant. Two can eat here for what it costs one to eat at most of the other seafood restaurants here. The service is great and friendly!

The buffet at Simply Southern Smokehouse includes delicious items like Carolina-style BBQ, fried chicken, barbecue chicken, chicken bog, chicken and dumplings, sweet potatoes, corn, green beans, collards, biscuits, pickled okra and more.
My husband and I stopped here earlier today. The food and service were amazing. I absolutely loved the singing performed by one of the waitresses. I’m not sure of her name but her voice was so heavenly and soulful! The food was amazing especially the fish, baked beans, greens, and tartar sauce!! We will definitely be back!

We arrived around 12:30 on Tuesday. We walked in right before a baseball team! 🙌🏾 The price was about $15 pp including the drinks. Very affordable for all you can eat! We went straight to the buffet where they had a nice selection. Most of the food was very good! I really enjoyed the cabbage (best thing I ate!), chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. The tea was very good and very sweet! We would definitely go back on a future visit to Myrtle Beach! *While we were there, there was a baseball team eating as well. One of the men who worked there definitely livened it up by singing a couple of songs with them!*

Two of my sons came down last week and found this place. They were Adamant that we HAD to eat here. It is Simply Southern soul food at its finest. The service was great and Ms. Teresa would sing every once in a while and her voice is amazing!! (I’ve included a video. You’re welcome! 😁) The sweet tea was delicious, my Friends. 12/10 I will be back!

Wow, what an amazing experience! Every bite was bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The place was spotless with plenty of seating, which made it so inviting. While exploring the area, I struggled to find some good home-cooked food until I stumbled upon this gem, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I indulged in just about everything at the buffet. My eyes definitely got bigger than my stomach! If you're a fan of mouth-watering fried chicken, this is the spot for you. Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable considering the wide array of options. It’s an absolute must-try if you’re in town!!!

Such a great place. Best place we have ate at on our whole trip. The atmosphere is what I would expect, cozy inviting and welcoming. A place to take your family without worrying about noise kiddos will make. The food was the best part. So many southern dishes that are authentic and delicious. The price was amazing! Licked the plates clean!

This is a buffet you serve yourself. Too noisy. Had an employee talking and laughing with people very loudly. He was friendly with everyone but just too loud and very disturbing. The food was not very tasty. The cabbage was overcooked and too salty, and the corn was bland, and the peach cobbler did not taste like peaches it tasted like nutmeg, way too much, but the fried chicken was delicious some of the best I've had in a long time. I tried several other things and was not pleased with them either. Just remember folks I'm just one person and everyone has their own taste but I was raised in SC and I know good Ole southern cooking and this isn't it, except for the chicken.

My FAVORITE please in MB! We come down from PA sometimes just to eat here lol. The food is always fresh and delicious. The mac and cheese is just like my mom makes. The sweet potatoes and coblers are to die for. Best fried chicken around. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Don't skip the sweet tea!

Big Mike's Soul Food is a beloved spot in Myrtle Beach, known for its authentic Southern comfort food and warm hospitality. Named after owner and city councilman Mike Chestnut, this place offers classic Southern dishes at affordable prices. The menu includes options like fried chicken, meatloaf, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese.
Everything at Big Mike’s Soul Food was absolutely delicious! I was especially excited to try the chicken bog, and it did not disappoint — seasoned to perfection, so good that even the bones almost tasted like food. The chicken was juicy, and the chicken and waffles were incredible …the waffles were so sweet they didn’t even need syrup. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and always checking in to see if I needed anything. True Southern hospitality, amazing food, and even better people. Big Mike’s is a must-try!

I got take out here, so I was only able to get a quick glance at their menu. There wasn't much parking, but they have an additional lot. It was a Monday, so I got a side of ribs $6.50. I also ordered $23.50 shrimp boil and $11.75 Little Mike's. I chose fried porkchop, and it came with cornbread and two sides: mac n cheese and rice&gravy. I think the best thing was the shrimp boil. There was plenty of shrimp (but you have to peel them) and potatoes. I like corn, so I wish they gave more of that too. Instead of fried porkchop, maybe fried chicken would have been better. The ribs were ok. The mac n cheese was actually not bad. Service was good. They gave me utensils and hot sauce packets.
Shmiley C — Google review
The food was amazing! I don't know how they made my grandma's potato salad, but the first bite took me back 20 years! The fish was perfect, the cabbage was delicious. The cobbler and the cheesecake! We have no words! The best food we had in Myrtle Beach!
Chris B — Google review
I ordered a fish plate with 3 sides. The food was great but for the price the 2 pieces of fish should have been the whole piece not cut lengthwise. It was good just not worth the price. My party also got the chicken bog which was a little dry and full of bones, some whole some cooked until they were powdered, very unpleasant on the palate. My party also got the fried chicken which was a hit!! The best thing I got from here was the sweet tea and the croissant beignets, OMG so delicious. Service was great, food was good and I would try it again with a different entree.

Visiting South Carolina for tbe first time and had the pleasure of trying Big Mike's for soul food. We were initially hesitant because we saw some mixed reviews but the place did not disappoint. I had the smothered turkey wing with collards greens, candied yam and mac and cheese. It was really good. The mac and cheese is baked. The turkey wings were tender and full of flavor. I tried the greens and cabbage, both were good. I preferred the cabbage. They also have mustard greens and field peas. The Arnold Palmer, Kool-aid and peach cobbler were excellent 👌🏾 Overall it was a good experience and the prices were very reasonable (about $15 for meat and 3 sides). I would definitely eat here again.

I come to the area once a year for work and definitely stopping by Big Mike’s each time. Never disappoints! Feels like I’m at Big Mama and PaPa house. Excellent food and service at a very good price! You can get a full course meal for under $30

Oh man this is good. This is a southern grandma style cookin place. The chicken tenders are huge! I loved it all - green beans, Mac n cheese, hush puppies, corn bread, fries, and banana pudding! I’m in trouble because I’ll be ordering this a lot. I even had it delivered and by the time I got it the food was still warm and good.

I really enjoyed Blueberry Grill. We sat outside and the weather was really nice. They provided small spinners for bugs which was great and they kept the flies away. The food was delicious and service was quick. I feel it was a bit over priced but overall it was delicious. I think they should provide more options such as turkey bacon or turkey sausage but other than that we tried the chicken sausage and it was ok. The water was so fresh and the fruit was so sweet and refreshing. Overall 9/10

I came to Blueberry Grill for the first time and I was really impressed with the quality of food. I order the Monte Cristo with Pancakes and it was delicious and very flavorful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the cups so much that I had to buy one to bring home. Definitely recommend Blueberry Grill and will return. I recommend adding yourself to the wait list using yelp before you get there so the wait won’t be long it tends to get very busy.

The ambiance of the inside is comfort. You could lose yourself in conversation with friends, family or a client. The food is a whole other story. We began with delicious blueberry hushpuppies that came with a delicious blueberry syrup to dip them in. (We ate them so fast I forgot to snap a photo). I ordered the Blueberry Creme Brulee French Toast which surprisingly was so decadent and the blueberry custard on top was phenomenal, silky smooth and delicious. And the surprise of the "creme brulee" drizzle that added just that right amount of crunch....almost like I dipped my French toast into an actual creme brulee. My daughter ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast which was actual cinnamon rolls made as French toast, drizzled with blueberry sauce. If you've never had a blueberry cinnamon roll, trust me you will love this dish. I ordered the Sweet Potato pancakes for my Granny and they tasted so much like a sweet potato casserole, makes me want to rethink my Thanksgiving dish. The brown sugar icing to drizzle over was absolutely delicious and the pecan halves within the pancakes and on top was just the right touch. All in all, the food, the atmosphere and the staff were great. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Lay-Lay contributed to the wonderful experience we enjoyed at the N. Kings Hwy location. The kitchen staff was on point with punctuality, courtesy, and friendliness at delivery. We all like to think we have exquisite taste and know when we are eating food uniquely created... we were no different while dining at Blueberry's Grill. We ate there twice over a four-night stay. The menu is packed with excellent selections. Recommend you start with the Blueberry hush-puppies. Pictures posted for your viewing. BTW - The North Myrtle Beach location is most inviting.

Blueberry Grill is a wonderful place to eat. The food is always great. We visit the one in NC every time we are there. This was the first trip to the Myrtle Beach, SC location. Still fantastic. Highly recommend!! All 6 of us were very happy with meal and service.

Best breakfast we had in Myrtle Beach. Locals kept recommending it, so we finally went, and it delivered. Even on a packed Saturday, our server was attentive. We made a reservation about 10 minutes before arriving and were seated right away. Food was delicious and came out impressively fast. We’ll definitely be back.
Diana K — Google review
Brunch at Blueberry Grill is a love letter to indulgence. We ordered two dishes, one sweet, one savory and both were unforgettable. The French toast was pure comfort: golden, pillowy, and kissed with cinnamon. It tasted like a cinnamon roll that grew up and got a little fancy soft inside, crisp at the edges, and just the right amount of sweet to make you close your eyes and smile. Then came “Live and Give,” a savory-sweet surprise that defies description. Eggs and bread formed the top layer, but the magic was in the mix: bacon, sautéed peppers and mushrooms, creamy sauce, and sausage, banana peppers It was bold, balanced, and totally addictive. We ordered both. We’d do it again. The coffee was smooth and satisfying, grounding the meal with just enough richness to round it all out. Blueberry Grill doesn’t just serve brunch it serves joy.

Absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and every little detail was clearly taken care of with love. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish we ordered was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. What truly impressed me was how well they treated the children. They brought out the kids’ meals first, which shows they really care about making families feel comfortable and prioritized. It meant a lot to see that the little ones mattered too! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. This place has definitely become one of my favorites. I’ll be coming back soon, and I highly recommend it to anyone — especially families!

Wow! Was a little worried about the prices but they have some great combo deals that made it a great value for your money. The food was Fantastic, and we're very picky when it comes to surf & turf. The fried flounder was excellent 👌. Lightly flaky and crispy batter with a flaky meat. Grilled shrimp was great and their home made tarter sauce was one of the best if not the best I've had! The steak and crab legs were delicious 😋 but omg their asparagus was perfect! We even came an hour before close and was worried we'd get thrown together food but nope the kitchen ensured our meals were excellent. Cheese loaded fries with shrimp on the side was excellent as well. Will definitely be back! The hostesses was so nice and friendly too!

We were seated promptly upon arrival for our reservation, which set a great tone for the evening. The food was excellent across the board. The scallop appetizer was outstanding, and the cheddar biscuit was delicious. The lobster and crab were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The highlight of the evening was the apple martini — absolutely amazing! Overall, a wonderful dining experience. I would definitely return.

My husband and I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp with fries, and we both felt the catfish needed more cooking time so it wasn't good, but the shrimp was. My daughter ordered the shrimp and chicken stripe and they were really good (that's what I should have ordered). We all had the tea and although it was very good it was a bit on the sweet side. My only complaint was it was hot there that day, the AC couldn't have been working, some people even walked in got seated and left without ordering due it being warm/hot in the restaurant. Our waiter was awesome!

Our wait person was Ismail and he was absolutely the best. The food was so good and they gave us so much. The tea was great as well. Our waiter had a huge party and he was still able to make sure all of our needs were met. We will definitely come back here on our next trip and I encourage you to come as well. Come to the Surfside area of the beach and enjoy this dinning experience It was the best!!! Thank you so much Ismail!!!

This is the third or fourth time that I’ve been to this restaurant and I have to say that it is becoming my favorite in Myrtle Beach. Alina was our server tonight and she is from Romania. Very nice girl so if you are here, ask for Alina. The steaks are good here but you should always come here for the seafood I’ve had the flaming lobster before which is my favorite but the crab legs and shrimp are also very tasty. You really can’t go wrong here whether it’s surf or it’s turf and the food is very reasonably priced .

Clearwater Oyster Bar & Grill is a newly opened restaurant located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach. This establishment offers a wide selection of fresh oysters sourced from various regions, alongside delectable fried oyster appetizers. The dining experience at Clearwater Oyster Bar & Grill is truly unique, providing customers with an opportunity to savor delicious dishes such as the seafood combo pasta featuring pan-seared scallops.
We visit the North Myrtle Beach area every year. We have enjoyed dinner here on several occasions now since they've opened it is beautiful to sit out on the deck looking over the intercoastal. You can have dinner at the restaurant or order carry out. We have done both, It's all wonderful. Gabby is great. She remembers who we are and helped us out with a situation completely. Our server this year in restaurant was Hannah. Both are amazing and I highly recommend! My son got the combo boil #3, and my daughter and I both got surf & turf with scallops, loaded mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad . Spicy Bloody Mary Oyster Shooter also delicious. What a delicious way to spend our last evening in Myrtle Beach! we look forward to next year! Thanks so much😊

The food was delicious, and the deck’s view of the Intracoastal Waterway made the meal even better. Prices were average, the drinks were well made, and the house wine was good. Happy hour is worth catching if you arrive in time. I’ll definitely be back.

Abysmal service! Thought it was seat-yourself because no wait staff! Finally, asked kid staffing oyster bar and he told us to wait. Boy, did we wait! Waited to be seated, waited for drink order, waited for our orders to be taken, waited for check. But with only a single waitress workin, easy to see why. Only redeeming factor was the seafood. Cooked perfectly. I got the seafood platter. Whitefish = cod. Hubs tried to order loaded fries, no steak?? No soup, chowder or otherwise. Killer live music on back deck and fully staffed bar. Would not return.

The oysters are amazing. Had 4 dozen and the gator bites were it. Old fashion on point. Plate presentation got the wow of me. Had a very strong server. She was dropping off oysters and then a storm was coming so she carried all the outside umbrellas in so they wouldn’t blow away. All the while keeping our waters filled to the rim. Would highly recommend. I’d do it again. 10/10 will be back.

Try the peel and eat shrimp or the Oyster Boil. You will not be sorry! Happy Hour menu is also a must (4-8) and today (Sunday), there’s a band called The Purpose. 2 stars is not fair, it's better than that. 3 stars is too much, it's not that good. If it were a 10 star scale, it would be 3 out of 10. Went on a Friday night in mid Sept. The waitress was anything but good. I asked for beer options, she told me about 4 or 5 domestics. I said "do you have an IPA" she said no. When she left I went and got one from the bar... An IPA. She forgot my water and then when I asked for my water, she said I must have asked someone else and not her. She did at least apologize, but she wouldn't take responsibility. She disappeared for long stretches, numerous times. THE FOOD: The food was a mixed bag. Im rating the place 3 stars because it's not ALL bad. The fish and chips, the slaw, and the calamari were SUPER delicious! But the Oysters Rockefeller was laughably poor. Stay far far away from this item. It's an insult to the recipe. They put a tiny sliver of spinach on it, then a mound of Parmesan cheese. They bake it or broil it in the salamander (name for cooking equipment). So when the cheese cools down, it just peels off the top. It's hardened and difficult to eat. The entire thing just tastes like Parmesan cheese. It is easily the worst Rockefellers recipe I've ever had, and I get it every restaurant I go to. I could name 10 places in Myrtle that are better for this recipe. OVERALL: The environment is stunning. A gorgeous back deck overlooking the river, especially on a beautiful Grand Strand day, is hard to beat. The service is lacking. The food is mixed. The calamari is some of the best I've ever had though. Not saying "NO, DONT GO" - But with all the options in Myrtle, I'm not convinced it's worth the night out.

This seafood buffet is known for its Calabash style cooking, offering a variety of fresh local seafood, a made-to-order pasta station, a carving station, crab legs bar, and in-house bakery for freshly made desserts.
This was our first time at the restaurant, and we were warmly greeted by the kind staff right away. Our waitress was excellent—very attentive and made sure all our needs were met. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. While we initially weren’t sure what to expect, we ended up really loving the flavors and quality of everything we ordered. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great service and food.

Came at 4pm, left at 6pm. Food was hot, lots of variety, and crabbb legggssss!! I pretty much went for crab legs and ate sooooo much. They kept it stocked and had no issues keeping up with the crowds. Restaurant is quite large and very creative and unique dining rolls. The calabash (fried) seafood was quite tasty and some of the sides like Mac and cheese, crab something, and green beans were yummy. The tuna and salmon were not great. But the crab legs and fried shrimp were on point so I was happy! Felt like a Vegas buffet. $50 for unlimited crab legs was worth it!
David M — Google review
This place is simply wow! The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The buffet offers an impressive variety of dishes, from seafood classics to hearty sides. The décor is spectacular – the whole interior is designed like the inside of a grand ship, with detailed nautical touches everywhere. There are ship models throughout, including an impressive Titanic replica, and even the servers are dressed in captain-style uniforms, which really adds to the atmosphere. As soon as you arrive, a doorman greets you and opens the door, making you feel like a special guest. There are plenty of tables, so it’s comfortable even when busy. It is on the expensive side – with tips, dinner for three came to $195 – but the quality, unique setting, and overall experience made it well worth it.

We were giving the main dinner room seating and the ambiance was perfect with the ship and fish tanks. The food was hot and well prepared. We went during the week and off season so we had no wait. Sat immediately with no wait for crab legs. Children are allowed here and they were all pretty well behaved. Pasta chef was awesome. After I added my seafood, it made the perfect dish. The server was fast and brought fresh steak knives and drinks when needed. Would go back again without hesitation.

We had a fantastic experience with Lily being our waitress. She was simply amazing and always there even before we needed her. The food was spectacular as always, we simply love this place. They offer the most crab you can ever eat in one setting. Not to count the ribeye steaks are phenomenal, and also part of the buffet. Everybody there has a smile and very professional, but also very homely. It’s one of the few places that is still family owned.
Sam — Google review
This place is very good for a buffet the quality and standards they have are above what a typical buffet would offer. The atmosphere was great there was a lot of different artifacts and things to look at. The food was great quality as well as they kept it fully stocked so you don’t have to worry about missing out on trying anything. The overall price is higher than typical buffets but you get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we did not have to wait long at all to get in. The only issue I had with the buffet is the over crowding. There are way to many people in the building so it feels very cluttered when you get your food. I do not recommend for anyone with social anxiety. Overall this place was a great experience and we really enjoyed it!

The oysters were shocked perfectly and they were delightful. Husband got the fish fry with grouper, shrimp and scallops. Everything was great except for the grouper lacked seasoning. The scallops were our favorite on the fried platter. Bimini has a store next-door, we went in to look for fish, but the market was closed for the season. The young lady that worked in there was super sweet! Did not catch her name, but she had brown hair and dimples and probably one of the nicest Persons we met in Myrtle Beach. She is definitely a keeper :-)

We only had a couple of nights in town and chose this as our restaurant to eat seafood, our serve Luigi was great! He was very personable and knowledgeable in the menu and seafood options. We got calamari as a starter, it was my kids first time trying it and all 3 loved it my husband said it was great as well! The hush puppies were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had almost every place in Calabash, these are now my new favorite! The fried fish was great, but my fried shrimp was very overcooked and didn’t taste super fresh. I would definitely return!

Three words: seafood, happy hour Thanks to Yelp, I found Bimini's on a search for happy hour deals. There was limited parking spots in their parking lot because it was so full. Thankfully I found one. There was a host near their outdoor patio seating area. It seemed like there is usually a line, but our party of two was seated right away. Our server gave us time to look through all the menus and came back with waters. She was excellent, and she def had experience under her belt to serve her customers well. She didn't know the price of the beer (it wasn't on the menu either), so she actually went to check and came back! [We had an experience with a GenZ server prior to this who gave us the wrong information. iykyk.] I only got to try the raw oysters and fried shrimp on the happy hour menu. I ordered a dozen oysters to share. One of the twelve was actually bad! I was surprised. The shrimp was great. They have an extensive drink list. I'd come back!

Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great customer service, laid back ambiance & delicious fresh seafood!!! Our server Carley was super friendly & attentive the entire night! The restaurant was pretty full and our wait time was only 20 minutes. It was worth every bit of the wait!! Everything from the oysters, seafood/shrimp kabobs, crab crake and crab legs was SUPERB!!! It was truly some of the best and freshest seafood I have ever had at ANY restaurant!! This was such an amazing experience for my first time trying this restaurant especially it being my birthday weekend! I will definitely be coming back!!! Hats off to the entire staff for making this a very memorable and special birthday dinner date night!!

Food was delicious. We had the famous fried fish (grouper), shrimp tacos, and shrimp kabob as an appetizer. We were told 45 minutes for the wait and then we were told 30 minutes after waiting the initial 45 minutes. The bathrooms are a bit small. Cherry mule was excellent.

We absolutely loved finding this place! Full of locals and the bartenders were AMAZING! We had so much fun! We ordered the sampler (oysters, clams, mussels), 2 crab clusters, & 1/4lb of shrimp. The hush puppies were so good!!!

We waited over an hour to be seated, and the food overall was good. The service was good for the number of people she had to tended to it was an extremely busy night. Overall, it's a good local spot with food food. Be prepared to wait.

Came back. Ordered appetizers and drinks. Came at 4 to avoid the rush. Sweetwater Hazy IPA - meh seems flat. South Island Brewing IPA full flavored, tastes like an American Beer. Bambino Breeze - Patty Island Therapy - Good Boys - steam pot Jess - steak and fries Pat - seafood kabobs Me - blackened tuna steak. Excellent but should be cooked medium. Service check back about 15-20 minutes in. —————— Super great place to eat seafood. We enjoyed everything.

The Chesapeake House is a beloved family-friendly waterfront restaurant that has been serving up the flavors of Maryland and the South Carolina Lowcountry for over 40 years. This locally owned establishment offers a diverse menu featuring fresh local seafood, including crab legs, deviled crab, and their house special Lobster Pie. Guests can also savor the catch of the day prepared to their liking and Calabash-style shrimp.
The cinnamon rolls and hush puppies make this place unique and worthwhile. We were instantly seated on a Sunday evening. There are cool fish tanks within a nice atmosphere. I got the Pesto Salmon, which I thought was relatively good. It’s something that I believe I could make myself, and I am not a hardcore cook. However, I do like that it comes with fish soup and a salad—each of which were pretty good. I think I would get something else next time.

A Myrtle Beach must do. From food to service to atmosphere the Chesapeake House is SUPERB. This family-owned restaurant has been open for fifty-five years. They perfected hush puppies. Don't eat too many before the meal arrives. The catch of the day was Grouper. Both the fried and broiled were amazing melt-in-your-mouth dishes. So happy we accidentally stopped by. You will enjoy every ounce of the $50 plate. We'll worth it.

Decent food. Free cinnamon rolls and good hush puppies. Also free fish stew. They have pagers and you can check out the gators around the back while you wait. Giving 3 stars for food because it wasn’t fried as crispy as I like and they put sliced almonds on my wife’s salmon when she requested it without.

First time was excellent. Hushpuppies and cinnamon rolls were so good, as was everything else. Great portions. Love the early bird menu and senior menu. Alligators in the pond outside our table were a unique sight. Wonderful service, definitely will be back.
ASHLEY B — Google review
You must visit this restaurant in Myrtle Beach! It is located on the water where you will see turtles and gators from the dining area. Their food is excellent, not to mention their freshly served cinnamon rolls and hushpuppies which are given to your table upon arrival. They also give everyone a sample of their homemade fishermen stew, provided you are a lover of fish in your soup. Their fried green tomatoes were the best I have ever had. Their tarter sauce is also the best I have had. I am usually not a fan of gator but it was more tender than a chicken nugget and very flavorful. All of our meals were great and we had the best server who was very attentive. You can also purchase a bag of their secret hushpuppy recipe mix. Additionally, they had a wonderful coconut salt scrub in the bathroom that we sampled and ended up purchasing a mason jar of it as it left our hands super soft and smelled delightful!

Phenomenal. Came at 6:00 on a Friday, sat immediately. Food was fast, fresh and extremely tasty. Fairly priced and good quality. Great service. Left a tourist trap up the road and found the holy grail, plus a water view! Been my favorite for over 20 years.

This is a hidden gem .. we went here for my son's birthday and he loved the alligator bites.. everyone's food was really yummy hubby 's steak and lobster tail was huge.. he said both were slightly over cooked but still good... littles loved the spaghetti i would have had different sides for them instead of fries because portion was huge maybe a cookie option or bread but still very good .. views here if u sit by the water are wonderful but we had a view of the parking lot.. love call ahead seating option... very pricey but everything was good ..service was exceptional would go back..

Food was good. Server was terrific ...but having a roach crawl out from under the table and run across the table at the end of dinner kind of ruined the entire experience.

CAPTAIN BENJAMIN'S CALABASH SEAFOOD BUFFET ~ My family really enjoyed this buffet. This is the CLEANEST buffet we've ever been to. The staff kept all of the selections full, and our server kept our drinks full. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and colorful. The food is very good. My favorites were the clam chowder, mussels, ribs, olive medley, and chicken tenders. This buffet is a bit pricey, but if you love seafood, it's worth it. I recommend this restaurant ✅️

We had an amazing dining experience at Captain Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood Buffet! The variety of seafood was incredible—crab legs, shrimp, scallops, different kind of fish and so much more, all fresh and delicious. The buffet was well-stocked and clean, and the hot food stayed hot. Lot of sweets, fruits and other desserts. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our drinks were full and plates cleared promptly. It’s a great spot for seafood lovers, and we’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Myrtle Beach! It’s worth every penny and highly recommended.

OMG I’m so impressed over my visit here. My friend kept bragging about it so I had high expectations and they did not disappoint!! Everything was perfect. I ate about 4 rounds which I have never done before at a buffet. I had about 8 clusters of crab legs. Desserts looked amazing I was so full had to retire for the night. Go early so you don’t have to wait in line like the club. My waiter was Awesome too. Keller handed his business so I tipped him well!! It’s hard to run a business like this it takes everyone to be on board so great job to everyone!! I can’t wait to go back🥰🥰💕💕🥳🥳😉😉

She wasn't our waitress, but when our autistic son was crying and we were just about to pack our food to go and leave she stopped by our table to let us know she understands and asked if she could offer anything to help. She even let us know she would happily take our son around the restaurant with her if she could. Because of Brandy, we will absolutely will be back next year during our vacation. THANK YOU ❤️❤️

Joe’s Crab Shack offers a lively, family-friendly atmosphere perfect for a casual night out. The décor is fun and welcoming, making it a great spot for both adults and kids. The highlight of my visit was the seafood boil—it was flavorful, well-seasoned, and served fresh. While the taste did not disappoint, I found the portions a bit small for the price, which slightly took away from the value. The drinks were decent, with a good selection to choose from, though nothing particularly standout. Service was decent as well—our server was polite and attentive, but the pacing between courses could have been smoother. Overall, Joe’s Crab Shack delivers a solid seafood experience with a laid-back vibe. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy tasty seafood in a casual setting, it’s worth a visit, though you might wish for just a bit more on the plate for the cost.

Fantastic evening celebrating my birthday. Our first visit here did NOT disappoint. The service, food and ambiance was amazing. I definitely recommend the Tiramisu martini for your dessert. It will close out the perfect evening. Precious, our server, was amazing. Makes all the difference.

So minus a slight mishap of a nut allergy from an appetizer I must say the food was very well flavored and our server was very nice. Once the person I was with had his reaction I will say i am a little disappointed on the fact that no manager came out to make sure things were okay and all they did was take of the app that created the issue. Even though we mentioned to the server of the nut allergy as we ordered the berry salad and got the nuts on the side as one of us could eat them. So we ordered the octopus app( that caused the issue) and as the fact of an allergic reaction happening, I feel as though the restaurant should have done more than just remove the app as he ended up being sick because of it. I would probably go again but I guess just make sure before ordering anything! I will say for us getting our food Togo it was very well packaged. No hard feelings to our server either as she did a great job at checking in asking if we needed anything
Matthew K — Google review
We started with the grilled octopus and pork belly — the perfect balance of savory, salty, and umami. The roasted beet salad was a standout, with fresh goat cheese, sweet candied pecans, and generous slices of orange supremes. Warm gluten-free flatbread and a fresh baguette arrived next, paired with sweet cream butter and an assortment of salts — sriracha, rosemary, and Thai ginger. Easily the best butter in Myrtle Beach. For entrées, the pan-seared sea bass was oven-finished to perfection and paired with charred broccolini and ginger-scented basmati rice, all brought together by a delicate lemon beurre blanc. The six-bone lamb was grilled to a perfect medium-rare, served with creamy mashed potatoes and wilted spinach, and finished with a rich bordelaise shallot au jus. Cocktails were equally impressive — from the perfectly dry Kettle martini with blue cheese–stuffed olives, shaken vigorously, to the “Perfect Skate Martini.” The apple cider moonshine–based Barrel Aged Orchard Old Fashioned featured Woodford Reserve, lemon bitters, and toasted cinnamon notes, garnished with a dehydrated honeycrisp slice. Matea’s Campfire mixed Woodford bourbon, cocoa bitters, barrel-aged Vermont maple syrup, and a toasted marshmallow for a cozy, smoky finish. And finally, the Paper Plane — Woodford, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and fresh-squeezed lemon juice — a smoky, bourbon-forward yet citrusy martini that perfectly closed the evening. We ended the night with an espresso enhanced with vanilla Frangelico and Baileys — the perfect smooth, sweet finish to an unforgettable meal.

Wow! I'm usually not as impressed with a restaurant like I am with this one. The service and server have done their homework. And the food was outstanding. The house salad had just the right combination of ingredients. Then the shrimp platter had the perfect French Fries. The hamburger steak was also impressive sitting on top of the mashed potatoes with onions and shoestring rings. It was all presented hot and fresh. Enjoy the fun,

Hubby was looking for a restaurant to take me for my birthday. He randomly picked Carolina Seafood & Steak. He couldn't have made a better choice. We had the early bird NY strip, absolutely amazing. Their house salad was in a cucumber bowl which was so unique & their Mac & cheese with bacon was to die for. The atmosphere was is very nice, cozy. The employees are very nice also. We will definitely be back. Our anniversary is in 2 weeks & guess where we're going for dinner! There's a water way in the back, chairs & table & a bench swing to relax a bit after eating, which is a nice added touch.

Food and service was great. It all tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back again. Pictures is house salad that came with meal. One meal is salmon Rockefeller and other is the Carolina grouper. There was a NY strip ordered that is not pictured but every bite was eaten by a picky eater and said it was the best steak they have had since moving here a few years ago.

Beautiful place, great drinks. Great service but we were there at the end of the evening, the chicken tasted bad, & so did the steak. Like the grill was dirty. Other than that it was great.

Intended to go eat in Conway, but when I saw on my traffic app all the delays going into Conway, I reconsidered. I looked for something closer to where we were staying. I chose Carolina Seafood & Steak, and I am so glad I did. I loved the decor of the restaurant as they salvaged many remnants and fixtures from Myrtle Beach’s first hotel. Loving history as I do, I thought that was a great way to preserve some of the area's past while adding some really cool items to the restaurant. We started off with their pan seared scallops and they were delicious! We then got their salad and I was amazed at how the salad was presented. It's worth ordering their salad just to see it! For entrees, I ordered the shrimp and grits and my wife ordered the Carolina Grouper. We tried both and they were excellent! While I would have loved to have tried their dessert, neither one of us had any room for more food. The restaurant also had a jazz band playing while we were eating. My wife loves that old jazz style, so that was a nice bonus. Thank God for traffic!

This place was AWESOME! It was definitely pricey, however, the portions were large and the food was extremely DELICIOUS! Our server was really good and attentive. They have a piano player on site. The atmosphere was really laid back and the ambiance was really nice. I got the surf n turf. The filet was very tender. The lobster meat was delicious. This was probably by far the biggest lobster tail I have ever had. The surf n turf comes with a side salad, mashed potatoes (they were freaking DELICIOUS!), and asparagus. The side salad was really good. The lettuce and all the toppings were enclosed by two cucumber slices all atop a plate. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a special occasion place or if you love seafood and/or steak. The menu has a variety to choose from.

Fair enough, but in my opinion: This place was excellent.. the people were friendly... the food was great.. the service was great..the atmosphere was great. When you are hosting a party for many people you always want to make sure everyone sees the value in your restaurant selection. Mission accomplished. If you come here you won't regret it! We love our regular visits to Tupelo Honey. The Mountain Morning Bowl is the perfect combination of all things yummy. We add the biscuits with blueberry compote and they are so good. On this visit we met Julia, a server who has been there about 10 years. Almost since they opened. How we have never met her I don’t know but I can say she was the best server we have ever had. Loved the food, drinks and service at Tupelo. We were a party of six. The menu is fun and interesting. Fabulous bar! Comfortable, stylish, and clean restaurant. Market Common is a great area with shops and restaurants and fabulous scenery. The only negative is that one of my cousins said that they wished that the cheese sauce for the macaroni and cheese was thicker. That's very minor and everyone has different taste. For the rest of us from the salmon to the fried chicken and waffles to the meatloaf to the onion rings and more; everyone was more than satisfied.

Let me say that the staff could not have been more wonderful and accommodating! I would dine here again because of that. Food was just ok. The group loved the fried green tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, and fried okra. Fried pickles were a bit too salty and meatloaf was just ok. Grilled cheese was not very good at all unfortunately. Banana pudding and chocolate cake were average. We loved the doggie menu though! Atmosphere is lovely. Its worth a try! Some dishes just better than others.

First timer here, small menu. Brussel sprouts appetizer was overly salty! Omg I think my blood pressure went up after first bite. The spicy/sweet chicken sandwich was wonderful! So yummy. Onion rings were better than the fries. Fries were soggy vs crispy. Service was great though.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Dining Experience! Nov 2024 while visiting the area, we had an outstanding experience thanks to Julia who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. She was exceptionally attentive, polite, and courteous throughout the morning. She anticipated our needs without being intrusive and offered thoughtful food recommendations perfectly suited to our appetite. We were so impressed by her genuine hospitality that we returned just a week ago with the entire family—including my in-laws—and the service with Anastassia was just as impeccable. It’s rare to find such consistency and care. Julia and Anastasia truly elevate the dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

I got the fried green tomato BLT and my daughter got the crab melt. The BLT was great! The fries are fries they are ok. The crab melt was new for us, we are not big crab eaters so it was ok for us. If you like crab and cheese it’s the way to go. Over all it was a good experience. We will be back.

Came in for a big family lunch on a Friday and had a lovely time! They seated our party of 8 right away and our server was quick, kind and personable, always keeping our drinks full. The atmosphere is just lovely: both clean and relaxing! The food was very flavorful and came out hot. I recommend the fried okra appetizer, the sauce it comes with is just perfection. My favorite things we ordered were the Shrimp and Grits (which also has sausage mixed in) and the Jerk Chicken Sandwhich (which came with grilled pineapple) they were both *chef’s kiss*! Would definitely visit again whether for date night, lunch with the girls, or family get together. Seems ADA friendly with lots of space between tables and a ground level entry way, also seems very kid friendly.

Very good breakfast experience. I had eggs Benedict over top of crabcakes. Very unique that's a first for me. Very well done I do recommend them. My son-in-law had that giant chicken biscuit! It's enough for two people. The server was a young man entering his junior year college He was a real pleasure to talk with and definitely has his head on straight. He will be a great success one day.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolute blast at LuLu’s! We arrived by boat which made the whole experience even more fun. The girls loved playing in the sand while we relaxed, enjoyed some great food, and had a few drinks. The atmosphere was lively, colorful, and family-friendly — the perfect mix of laid-back and upbeat. Service was excellent, and everything came out fresh and tasty.

LuLu is the sister of Jimmy Buffet! Fun Fact given to us by our amazing waitress Darla :) This was such a cool place with an amazing menu that was so diverse it was hard to make 1 choice. I decided to get the Crab Melt, which was amazing! My husband got the new Pot Roast sandwich, and my daughter loved the grilled shrimp (Came with 8 large shrimp), and my son loved the chicken and hushpuppies!! Everything was truly excellent. Darla was amazing, so friendly, and very attentive. I would definitely go to this location again. We were in North Myrtle at Barefoot Landing.

We came to Lu Lu’s for lunch and arrived when they first opened. We browsed the gift shop which had a wide assortment of merchandise. We requested to sit by the water and they were more than happy to accommodate us. We got the salsa and queso for our appetizer. It was very good and had a decent portion for 2-3 people. We then ordered the Jerk chicken sandwich with a side of fries and the key west bowl with grilled chicken for our entrees. The chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection and was not dry, the pineapple and bacon complimented it well. The fries were crispy but did not have a greasy taste which was a nice add on. The key west bowl was very good, the mix of ingredients blended well and the wow sauce complimented the dish very nicely. The sauces are on the side they do not come on the meal. Overall our experience was very pleasant and I would definitely eat here again!

We heard the live music as we were walking by and decided to pop in for a couple drinks this evening. We found a couple seats at the bar and we knew right away that it was going to be a blast! The environment is open and welcoming and there was a perfect breeze blowing through. The staff all seemed happy, they were welcoming, friendly and helpful. But the star of the show by far was definitely DREW! Not only did he ensure that we never had empty cups but he was an amazing conversationalist as well! We laughed together and he even gave a few recommendations of places nearby and in Murrell's Inlet also for us to check out. A huge thanks to him and hope we run into him again!

River City Cafe is a laid-back eatery located at Barefoot Landing, offering a casual dining experience where families can enjoy American fare and burgers made from beef, turkey, chicken, or veggies. The restaurant encourages kids to have fun by providing free peanuts and allowing them to throw the shells on the floor. Additionally, visitors can explore various accommodation options in Myrtle Beach suitable for different budgets and family sizes, ranging from campgrounds and vacation condos to beachfront hotels with ocean views.
Very cool place. I have been here 4 times, and I love it. The waitress Jessica. was very nice. Awesome. This place has the best burgers in Myrtle Beach. This place is definitely worth the visit. The prices are really good here too. I would 100% recommend trying this place out. It has good prices and good burgers.
Caleb K — Google review
The food was good. I ordered the house cheeseburger which was okay. They have a great variety of options on their kid menu. My only knock on the service is that my wife just finished her first bite on her sandwich and the waitress came by soon afterwards and asked us if we needed boxes. It’s not like they were super busy. There were plenty of open tables.
E R — Google review
So we stopped at River City Café while hanging around Barefoot Landing and honestly, it’s one of those spots that feels like the definition of vacation food. The vibe is super laid back — like, you walk in and it’s not fancy at all, but that’s what makes it cool. Kinda like your buddy’s beach house but with way better burgers. The menu is stacked with burger options, and they’re huge. I got one that was literally bigger than my face (not complaining). Fries were on point too — crispy, salty, exactly what you want after walking around in the heat all day. They also bring peanuts to the table and you just throw the shells on the floor, which is fun in a messy, “my mom would hate this” kinda way. Service was chill — not over the top, but friendly. Prices weren’t bad either, especially since the portions are massive. Definitely more of a place you go in a swimsuit and flip flops than a dinner date spot, but that’s the whole charm. If you’re at Barefoot Landing and want something easy, filling, and actually really good, this is the move. 10/10 would go again, mostly for the burgers and the “I don’t care what my hair looks like right now” atmosphere.
Brian S — Google review
Great food, great table service and casual dining. Could use lots of improvement on the front of the house and initial contact with customers. Several of us, customers, noted that there was a long wait to be acknowledged as you enter the restaurant. The interaction was much less than professional and made customers feel as though they were a burden to the establishment and employee at the station. While waiting outside many customers discussed the disappointment but assured others that the food was worth the insult. Next time we will try Joe’s Hamburgers which is located across the intersection. Folks say Joe’s has their act together, especially when they are busy. All this from waiting customers discussing frustration over poor interaction with initial customer contact.
Eddie B — Google review
I got the dilly o burger, def recommend if you’re a pickle lover! (just ask for extra pickles there was only 3 on mine). Downside you can only have fries and slaw for a side, and you CAN’T sub the slaw. Another thing they put RAISINS in the slaw, who does that? And more than just a few. The onion rings are HUGE! 10/10 recommendation them. Great view! I don’t feel like our waitress came around enough and we never got the complimentary peanuts.
Kiana C — Google review
We came here because it looked like a variety of food to fit the adults and kids. We got cheeseburgers, Texas BBQ burger, and the child got the grilled cheese. Their onion rings were onion ring bracelets, so they were HUGE and could literally fit around your wrists. They had hand cut fries, which were good. Our waiter was great and kept our waters filled and was friendly.
Kasey H — Google review
They calculate the tip total here after including taxes. Since when do we have to tip on taxes and do they give the irs their tips? The banana pepper and cheese curds were really good. The fries very undercooked and the chili was not good. The chicken sandwich was really good, the chicken was cooked perfectly, but the whole sandwich was kinda dry. They were out of the blooming onion.
H — Google review
Initially we wanted to dine in and catch a couple of football games. When we walked in the place was a bit congested which was not a problem so we ordered the food to go. It didn’t take us long to figure out what we wanted from the various items on the menu. Every item on the menu sounded good. We waited about 5 minutes for the waitress to take our order. They appeared to be short on staff, everyone seemed to be overwhelmed. As I sat there waiting for my order, there were other patrons who had been waiting a while for their orders. We heard the waitress call out a particular order but no one came forward to say that was their order. Maybe about 3-4 minutes later a staff member asked a patron if she was waiting for an order. She politely said yes, named the items she ordered and come to find out the order she had been waiting on was the order the waitress called out. It was pretty loud in the restaurant, more than likely the reason the patron didn’t hear the waitress the first time. With all the busyness, I noticed much of the staff were not taking sanitary measures when going back and forth between tables, making drinks etc. I only saw one person wash their hands. I saw no one wipe down the bar after 2 patrons left and 2 people immediately take their spot. The food wasn’t bad. The burgers were huge and seasoned well and I couldn’t believe how big the onion rings were! There were 2 of them that probably equaled a medium sized portion at BK. The Cole slaw wasn’t that great, bland and I never had Cole slaw with raisins in it. If it wasn’t for the fact that the restaurant felt a bit unclean to me, I probably would go back for the peanut butter creme pie

Delicious! The interior is pretty, the terrace seating is great, and the food isn’t too salty—everything tastes amazing. The banana French toast wasn’t too sweet and tasted good. Had a lovely time at Croissants!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced despite aesthetically being an upscale cafe. The fried green tomato and pimento cheese grilled cheese was great (I added bacon, very worth it) and you should definitely pair it with their tomato soup! My fiance got the chicken and waffles and was very delighted, I swear it disappeared after looking away for two seconds haha. I also had early grey tea and they serve it in a very cute setup with a drawstring tea bag for the loose leaves. Our server, Sharon A, was also an absolute sweetheart!! She had asked if we were celebrating anything and we actually just got recently engaged (like literally a day ago) and so we got a little celebratory cupcake 🥺❤️ Highly recommend coming here to enjoy a yummy meal and cute date!

Extremely well done breakfast spot a little up the road from main Myrtle beach but 💯 worth it!! Atmosphere was upscale and very clean and the service was top notch. Highly recommend

The food was great and the service was excellent! They also have a nice selection of dessert items to pick from at a separate counter at the entrance which is nice touch and a bit different from other restaurants in the area. We will definitely stop by for both next year.

We stopped in for breakfast after being told the wait would be about 15 minutes — it ended up being closer to 35. Once we were finally seated, it also took quite a while before a waiter came over to take our order. The food itself was fine, and the complimentary mini pumpkin muffins were a nice touch, but the long wait and slow service definitely took away from the experience. Hopefully they can improve their timing because the place has potential.

I'm here for oysters and all of them are so good , fresh and tasty much try when you visit Myself Beach. Clam chowder is also delicious. They also have outdoor seating. Great place to enjoy food and drink. Service is great. Love this place.

My family and I recently visited Original Shuckers Oyster Bar. While the food was good, it's important to note that the restaurant is quite small with more of a bar feel, and it can get pretty noisy. This wasn't quite the atmosphere we were looking for, but we certainly enjoyed the delicious food! We ordered the shrimp boil and added some tasty crab legs – everything was fresh and flavorful. My mother also enjoyed her seafood sampler appetizer. The food was genuinely good, hitting all the right notes for a seafood craving. If you're looking for excellent seafood in a lively, smaller, and boisterous bar setting, Original Shuckers is a good option. Come for the great food, and be prepared for a fun, energetic (and noisy!) atmosphere!

This was not our first choice, but it definitely should have been! We were waiting a few building down for our reservation which took 45 mins so we left and found this place. It was quiet and not very busy, but when we sat down our waitress was very kind and helpful. She had a good attitude and gave us plenty of time to order. The food came quick, and it was hot. I got the 1/2 dozen raw oysters and they were great, and my husband had the crab legs and said they were the best restaurant crab legs he’s had. My nephew got the steam pot and ate the entire thing. I also got the fried fish platter and it was phenomenal. I loved that the atmosphere was laid back and quiet. We even got a free beer. First and foremost, this is a dive bar. If you are looking for a bright family experience, this place is not for you. It's also a dive bar with some of the best seafood to value you will find. The raw oysters are clean and the cocktail sauce has the perfect amount of horseradish. I got the sautee blackened platter with grouper. The fish was like butter! Hands down, best grouper I've ever had. The crab cake was meaty and moist, the shrimp was yummy, the broccoli was perfect (I could eat it every day), and the hush puppies were solid. If you are looking for a place that the local flock to, a place for great seafood at an amazing value, AND parking, this is the place for you. *As a note, this place stops seating an hour before close. *

We came for happy hour a couple times and plan on going back there again tomorrow it is that good and reasonable! The staff was on top of things with regards to our orders and they had a great sense of humor. The atmosphere was wonderful. Everybody seemed very nice. It’s like a local bar and restaurant in the middle of a tourist area. A must go for dollar oysters. The muscles and the wings are also wonderful.

This place is great! It’s a little hole-in-the-wall bar/restaurant, and everything we had was excellent. We got a variety of seafood and it was all fresh: raw, fried, and baked Parmesan oysters, clam chowder, and the tuna steak sandwich. They cooked the tuna perfectly med rare, and all of the oysters were great. Their cocktails were delicious as well, the key-lime pietini really tasted like it! We went around 2 so it wasn’t super busy, but staff was all super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend if you like fresh seafood and reasonable prices :)

A must-try place if you're in Myrtle Beach! The students prepared delicious high quality food which makes the price unbeatable. We were served a 3 course meal with our bistro lunch reservation. I had a chilled corn soup, crispy pork belly, and peach cobbler. All were delicious, well crafted, and had a variety of textures and flavors to enjoy throughout each dish. The timing of the service of dishes was perfect and I left extremely full (though that didn't stop me from grabbing some treats to go at the bakery counter next door). The tables were safely distanced, the staff is masked, and customers are also required masks before arriving at their table. Wish we made a second reservation during our stay!

While on vacation, we noticed this cute colorful place and decided to give it a try. Sarah our server I adored because she has a blunt and snarky attitude yet very sweet and helpful at the same time. My boyfriend got that OMG giant burger thing and it really is insanely huge! And for the price, you can’t beat it. I tried some and it was very delicious. I had coastal pizza burger which was really tasty as well. Of course we had to get some Dirty Myrtle’s while we are here and Sarah suggested a “panty ripper” drink which is likely to become my next go to. My partners grape cocktail as delicious as well. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It has a very fun and unique atmosphere along with great food, friendly service and tasty drinks. I will be recommending to anyone I know who’s coming to the area. Thank you.

Went on a Friday afternoon after a beach day. Was looking forward to a good meal but instead got soggy, cold fries. My boyfriend even had a pale, thawed fry in his batch. Once we got our food, we weren't check on until our check was brought over. My boyfriend explained the situation and told our waiter about the fries. The waiter took off the charge for them and the coleslaw. If they're gonna serve fries like that, they better be complimentary with the burger. The burger wasn't bad but nothing to rave about. The coleslaw was decent although a little off putting with the raisins added. I don't understand how this place is rated so high. Not worth the hype.

Great burgers. Love the onion rings. This place is small in size but big in taste. Never knew it was here till today. I’ll definitely be back. It’s like finding gold where no one else is looking. Love the atmosphere and all the state licenses plates as decor. Never went inside. It was too nice out so we sat on the porch. Picnic tables with umbrellas. Perfect setting. I got the colonial burger with fried egg. That’s my type of burger. They’ve got a lot to choose from besides burgers. The appetizer was like a garlic cheese curd with marinara sauce. Wish I’d ate here more. Especially since it was walking distance from our room. Don’t hesitate just go. You won’t be disappointed. Our waitress was Kelly. Great server.

We stopped by River City Café and loved it! There’s a huge outdoor seating area with a fun beach vibe … and don’t forget to bring sharpie because you can write on the deck!. The staff was so friendly and attentive, gave great menu suggestions, and kept our drinks refilled the whole time. We ordered the cheese puffs (not pictured because we were too excited and dug in right away - SO good!), the Buffalo Chicken Burger, the Smashburger, and the Shoestring Burger. The portions are enormous and everything was delicious. For how much food you get, the prices are incredibly reasonable. We’ll definitely be back!

The pricing is fair. The service is excellent. Raven is an amazing server. She accommodated our request when ordering which was extremely thoughtful of her. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jennifer M — Google review
The restaurant itself was colorful and unique. It was a relaxed yet upbeat atmosphere. However, if you like a restaurant to be clean and tidy, this is not the place for you at all. There is coloring (with actual crayons) everywhere on the outside. You can sit outside on picnic tables, that will bother your knees, if you have knee problems. If you are tall, don’t sit at the picnic tables, your knees will be at chest level. Our waitress was very attentive and offered suggestions. She was at the table right after we were seated to take our drink order. When she got back with our drinks she took our appetizer order and we ordered our dinner as well. We ordered onion rings and cheese pops (in Wisconsin we call them cheese curds). The onion rings were not as expected. They were also not what we’re used to. The onions were cut thick and when fried they didn’t get tender. The outer breading was nice and crunchy. The onion rings are very large and are served with a beer-based sauce. We didn’t care for them, only because we don’t like thick onion rings. The cheese curds were ok. The seasoning was kind of bland though. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger platter with fries. He ordered it with provolone cheese, no tomatoes, or pickles. His platter was cold when he got it. He said it was like it was an oops order that they put provolone on and served to him. He also said that the burger was flavorless. He wasn’t impressed. Our two oldest ordered a cheeseburger platter with American cheese and fries and a cheeseburger platter with cheddar cheese and fries. They both said that the cheeseburger was ok, not very flavorful. The fries were your average fries, not crunchy, but fried to their liking. They didn’t season the fries so they needed salt and ketchup. One of our little ones ordered cheese fries and the other one ordered a crispy chicken sandwich platter with only lettuce and mayonnaise and fries. Our second to youngest said that the cheese fries were really good. They were cheesy and served with ranch and came in a small tray. The chicken sandwich was very crispy and flavorful. The chicken was still juicy and didn’t dry out as it sometimes will when fried. My husband wanted to try some because he was upset that his wasn’t good. He said he wished he had ordered the crispy chicken sandwich platter instead of the bacon cheeseburger. I ordered the cheese fries with Texas chili. The fries were served in a small try, were covered in chili and cheese, but the flavor wasn’t there. The Texas chili wasn’t authentic, not spicy and bland. I was hoping for a more authentic Texas chili with a little more zing. To summarize our experience at River City Cafe, the atmosphere was unique, and the staff was friendly. We were treated well and the waitress offered suggestions when we were indecisive. The price was fair, but the food was just ok. A big downfall is that they do not offer a kid’s menu. I wish I would have checked on that before we chose to eat there. I hate paying adult prices for food the little ones will only eat part of.

We decided to go to this particular calabash because it’s either this one or the original Benjamin’s calabash. We chose this one because it was closer to where we were staying, he simply wanted crab legs and I simply wanted hush puppies. The other location mentioned does have a much bigger food selection but this one covers different food types for everyone as well in a smaller capacity. We were seated quickly and the service was really nice, the woman was super friendly. The food was good and they do refresh the food often so we were very happy about that. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would return.

The food here was fresh and delicious! The bar had so many things to choose from, there was something for everyone. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcomed. Melissa in particular was awesome! I'll be back!

I try hard not to say anything negative when I review so, I will keep this to a minimum. If you are gonna spend this much money for dinner - go somewhere else. Disappointing to say the least. For me and my 2 children (with coupons from the Monster books applied) it was $105.00. Then tip. I'm still upset I spent that much money on such bad food.

I had high expectations for the place from all the reviews I’ve read but I’m here to give the most honest review possible. First of all, Dave was our server and he was the best server I’ve ever encountered. Dave made sure we were taken care of, and backed up his great service with a little comedy show. Crab had great flavor, prime rib was cooked well and tender, desert was decent, and everything else was either ok, or not good. You’d definitely get your moneys worth from the sea food though.

This was great! I have eaten at many of the calabash buffets here in Myrtle Beach. Hadn’t been to Bennett’s for quite a few years as we weren’t happy the last couple of times. Well, turns out two of them were sold to others. But the one on 2900 North Kings highway is operated by the previous owners of all 3. It was great. Not a gigantic selection but more than enough to choose from. No big piles of soggy crab legs. Service was great. Portions (especially desserts) were made so you could sample all of them without waste. We were there in October. Will have to try this coming summer to see how it is when busy. Oh, and price beat everybody. With early bird coupon only $38 or $39.

Our server Dave was absolutely amazing. His humor and charm made the experience absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend giving this place a try. The food was great, atmosphere was wonderful, and Dave was quite entertaining. If you spend any time in Myrtle Beach, I recommend stopping in at least one time for dinner.

First time visiting from Ohio. Our server Dave was awesome! Best service/hospitality I’ve ever received anywhere. We get service and a comedy show with him. Seafood had lots of flavor and was very good. Prime rib was great. Other dishes are questionable.

My five friends wanted all-you-can-eat crab legs and Bennett's has always been a favorite stop when in MB. The service was better than good and the food was fine. I don't eat the crab legs so I ended up choosing a lot of the fried seafood options and a fair amount of fish. The hush puppies are tasty and the clam strips are my favorite. We'll be back.

We were visiting from Charlotte on our beach trip, and this place was such a great find! We got seated immediately around 8:30, and the food came out super fast. Nick was our waiter and he was excellent very respectful, friendly, and quick with everything. The food was delicious with big, filling portions. The French toast looked amazing! While the food is a bit on the expensive side, it’s definitely worth it for the quality and the atmosphere. The space has tall ceilings and soft lighting that makes it feel cozy and inviting. The front desk staff was just okay, but overall we loved the food, service, and vibe. Definitely a spot we’d come back to!

Tonya was excellent coming only when needed and the food was delicious. Biscuit and pancakes melted in our mouth. It was busy for 11am but got seated right away. Indoor and outdoor seating available even when it's raining. They know what they're doing here. Best neighborhood gem I've been to in a while,in Barefoot Landing area and not too far from everything.

We got lucky our Uber driver told us to go to this location instead of our other choice! Sunday August 10 we had a fantastic early morning with our server Irini. We started with a mimosa for me and a bloody mary for my wife! Diana chose the Chicken sausage & Avocado harissa hummus toast, the sausage was phenomenal with blueberry's cooked right in the sausage the flavor was fantastic. I chose the Jungle island skillet, corned beef hash mushrooms, jalapenos, with home fries scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce. Delicious meal. Somewhere in all the flavor another server danced by full of personality! Alex was a treat to talk with and made the whole trip worthwhile! People you must try this location, there are other Blueberry Grills but this is where you want to be!

This place was very popular when I visited. I waited about an hour to be seated but it was worth waiting! I got Southerner skillet and it was really delicious!! If you want to try everything, this is for you. It has ham bacon different vegetables home fries scrambled eggs and toast. It is really worth!!

This has got to be one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. These blueberry buttermilk pancakes are so darn good. Probably the best I’ve ever had. They made me an americano which was mid - but I’m picky about coffee stuff. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant is great too. I came when they just had opened so it wasn’t too busy. I imagine in peak season it is hard to get a seat - I understand they have a waiting list and I can that it’s needed. The service here was tops too. People were kind asking me how everything was and on point in noticing when I needed a refill. I would recommend. 10/10

Wow, the best breakfast ever! The grilled blueberry muffins were delicious. Eggs were cooked to perfection, fruit fresh too! Service was perfection with Trista and the rapid cooking team. Breakfast served with staff wearing gloves too. Beautiful atmosphere. Entire staff seemed upbeat, positive and professional.

We were on vacation to North Myrtle when we discovered this gem. My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. No complaints...the food was delicious, I got the shrimp and grits and she got the cinnamon roll French toast. The lattes were perfect as well. We will be back!

Delicious! Highly recommend reserving prior to arriving (especially for bigger groups) as it is packed with people. My friend and I went on Sunday morning and had to wait about 15minutes. The food was heavenly and it will be our breakfast/brunch spot next time we come back to Myrtle Beach. Highly recommend
