Cocktail bar
Parliament is a renowned cocktail lounge located in Uptown Dallas, known for its extensive menu of over 100 craft cocktails. The plush and dimly lit space offers a laid-back vibe and is famous for its legendary bartender Lucky Campbell. The bar's menu features innovative twists on traditional Golden Age cocktails as well as prohibition-style classics. One of the must-try drinks is the Ramos Gin Fizz, an early take on the Gin Fizz from an 1893 Roosevelt Hotel cocktail menu.
As I grow older, I've come to appreciate high-end cocktail bars more and more — they truly are the move! The staff is incredibly friendly, making every visit feel welcoming. The drinks are nothing short of amazing, carefully crafted with the finest ingredients. The atmosphere is sophisticated and classy, providing the perfect setting for a night out. Come for a top-notch drink, and stay for the friendships and unforgettable experiences you'll find along the way.
Mario — Google review
What a great place for happy hour! We've been about 4-5 times now. Worth getting here between 5-530pm to get bar seating. Happy hour is very reasonable between 5p-8p.
Billie H — Google review
Super cool place. We came in from out of town and wanted a laid back place to have some drinks. George and Ya-Ya helped us out during our visit and made our experience truly memorable. Definitely would recommend the Namaste and the coolest daiquiri lantern. A must in Dallas if you’re looking for a chill night out.
Sarah S — Google review
Huge cocktail selection, super impressive bartenders, and an environment that has yet to be matched. Thankful for the hospitality, the AGM made sure we felt appreciated and service was amazing!!
Noah R — Google review
Very swanky cocktail bar with a unique menu, great service, and some gimmicks. They have a nice patio with outdoor tables. High end vibe and prices. Good date spot.
Julia E — Google review
Cool vibe, but the experience didn’t match the hype. Drinks took forever, and when they finally came, they were fine but not worth the price. Staff felt distracted, and the place gets overcrowded fast. They also tack on an automatic 20% gratuity, which would be fine if the service matched it. Stylish spot, weak execution.
Axel — Google review
Vibes were amazing, the place is very dimmed lowkey. A little tight when it's busy but the drinks were great and the bartenders are extremely attentive and laidback to help you find the perfect drink. Coming out of town, and will definitely recommend this place to others
Brian B — Google review
Not really sure what I was expecting when I walked into this bar with a group of friends. Not very busy on a Tuesday night but still lively, parliament has a very spunky vibe with lavish decor. We approached the bar wanting to order a drink, however as soon as we walked up, a girl pushed my friend out of the way to order a drink. My friend then looked at said girl and commented that she didn’t have to push her, she could’ve said excuse me. The bartender then proceeded to tell my friend “you didn’t have to do all of that” with an attitude. Needless to say we left immediately without ordering drinks at all. An unfortunate first impression.

Brunch restaurant
Hudson House is a popular dining spot in Addison, TX, offering a diverse menu that includes Neapolitan pizza and Mexican cuisine. The restaurant is known for its variety of tacos filled with options like slow-roasted brisket, carne asada, and chicken al pastor. Additionally, the Capricciosa pizza topped with ham, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, and olives is a local favorite.
Always a good time at Hudson House. Shrimp dynamite is a MUST 👍 My boyfriend and I love the French Chicken and the burger! So delicious. We also love the drinks there (fav was the lemon drop). It is a bit pricey but we don’t mind it because of the amazing service and great food.
Lydia L — Google review
I came here on a Thursday at 5pm and the place was packed! Highly recommend a reservation. The outside patio was completely shaded and had fans going but was still on the hot side. 3 stars for atmosphere because something inside smelled and I couldn't ignore it. The food was delicious and the portions were spot on! They out so much thought into their dishes to the point of putting covers on the lemons so seeds don't get in your food. All in all, very good and I would go again.
Misty W — Google review
Hudson House is the quintessential bougie seafood restaurant you find in any more well-off part of a city. The food was great, very much in line with the prices. I went for an early dinner and got to experience both the sunlit lunch ambience and the dimmer dinner ambience. It’s very pretty inside and the service is fantastic as you’d expect from a restaurant at this price point. The oysters in the seafood bouquet are only a single variety, but the ones I got were great.

Five-Star Dining Experience at Hudson House – Dallas, TX From the moment we walked in, Hudson House delivered an outstanding experience. We were seated promptly, and the service throughout the evening was attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was exceptional—the taste of high-quality ingredients was unmistakable in every bite. Each dish was well-prepared, arrived in a timely manner, and exceeded expectations. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance of upscale sophistication and comfort. While the prices are on the higher end, they match the quality of the food, service, and ambiance, making it well worth it. All around, a five-star experience. Hudson House has earned a top spot on our list of favorite Dallas restaurants.
Lou J — Google review
Tonight, before Kaboom Town, I stopped in again. My server Ruth was warm and welcoming, and then came the showstopper: the chocolate French silk pie. I forgot to take a picture—that’s how good it was. It came with a huge mound of fresh whipped cream, and the crust had espresso in it. Rich, creamy, and a generous portion. Honestly, it was life-changing. Don’t sleep on the rest of the menu either—their French fries are awesome, the double cheeseburger is amazing, and my buddy had the redfish and loved it. If you’re visiting Addison, do yourself a favor and go to Hudson House. Even if it’s just for the pie. Trust me.
Chef L — Google review
Went to Hudson House in Addison with friends and really enjoyed it. I had the lobster roll which was super tasty, and my friend got the chicken that was really juicy and well done. The fries were also solid. The ambience was nice and made for a great spot to hang out and eat. Would definitely come back!
Nina H — Google review
Drinks and oysters? Fantastic. Atmosphere? Great. But the chicken parm really missed the mark. You advertise it with vodka sauce — which is phenomenal — yet it comes smothered in a pretty mediocre marinara, with vodka sauce just on the side. Two sauces don’t make sense, and the better one is barely used. If the chicken parm came fully in vodka sauce, this would be an easy 5-star spot for me. Until then, it’s a 3/5.
Nicolas S — Google review
This was my first time here and the service was AMAZING! Nate was the bartender that served me and he was so good. Even though it eas pack during happy hour Nate had everything under control. I had the $10 happy hour burger, truffle fries and side salad and everything was delicious! The burger was a bit salty but i would def get it again.

Restaurant
Bowen House is a charming Victorian-style bar located in the historic Ahab Bowen home in Uptown Dallas. The bar offers a variety of craft cocktails and a meat-heavy menu. The mixologists are known for their expertise and can create unique drinks tailored to your preferences. The venue's upscale drink menu includes a classy wine list, draft beers, bottled beers, and canned beers. Bowen House provides an opportunity to experience local history while enjoying delicious drinks in a vintage setting.
Visited this cute spot to celebrate a birthday! It’s a house that’s been converted into restaurant. The ambiance was on point and we celebrated in a private room in the back. The decor is beautiful, the low lighting is sexy, and the private room has clouds painted on the ceiling. It was perfect for the number of guests(10-12) and we were all able to converse without competing with everyone else in the restaurant’s conversations. The food was great as well and you should check out the Tuna Tacos. They’re an excellent choice! It’s a great spot for date night or gathering with friends.
Gina M — Google review
I LOVED Bowen House! I came here for a peaceful night after work to read for a bit and check out such a unique, historical spot! I LOVED IT! The cocktails were delicious and unique — I loved the London-themed cocktail (served in a teacup)! The wine selection was also great! I had the ahi tacos (my first time ever trying anything like them) and after that, I started eating them more often because Bowen House’s was so good! The employees were very friendly and helpful, and fun to chat with! The ambience both inside and outside was lovely and unique. I say and enjoyed the late summer night outdoors, but the inside almost won me over! Highly recommend for a nice night out!
Katelyn M — Google review
We just had an amazing experience tonight! We sat outside and the weather was perfect. It is so beautiful out front covered with big trees. We loved so much about our experience but to start off the cocktails are to die for. Every drink we had was a 10. The food was also delicious. I had the burger and it did not disappoint. Overall this was a perfect restaurant experience and feels like a local secret.
Chris B — Google review
My favorite place in Dallas since I’ve moved here, whether it’s HH at 5 or a stop on a night out. Service is on point, food is fantastic. I haven’t had a drink on their, ever-changing, menu that I haven’t truly enjoyed. Get the cheeseburger and sit with Lorenzo.
E D — Google review
Summary: Fantastic Bowen house is one of Dallas's best restaurants... no question. Atmosphere: Super chill and vibey inside. It's small and intimate so it's perfect for a party of 2-4. Food: Super impressed. The first time we went, we had to try as much as we could: the tartare, escargot, and mushroom toast were all super solid. For mains, we both got the cheeseburger. Let me tell you, this might be the best cheeseburger I’ve had in Dallas. It’s definitely up there. We came back three separate times just to get the cheeseburger, and the place is open until 2 a.m., so it hits perfectly after a night out. 10/10 food. (Note: last time we were there, they had off-menu chicken tenders that were insane.) Cocktails: Awesome. nothing more to be said
Ayron M — Google review
Located in a beautiful historic building Bowen House serves both food and drinks. I only went for a cocktail though. I got there around 730pm on weekday night and the place was packed so if you plan to visit Bowen House better book a table. I only managed to get a standing spot. Service was quick but as it was very busy the barmen didn't have time for chitchat. The cocktail list has something for everybody. Was a bit hard to read the menu as the place is quite dim. I opted for The Senator. The drink was very fragrant and had more bitterish flavours....I liked it. Bowen House is a place to go when you want to go out with friends and are looking for vibrant place for drinks and dinner.
Aksel G — Google review
Always love visiting Bowen house for a drink. The cocktails are top notch and the food is excellent too. Worth the wait any day of the week!
Evan P — Google review
Our waiter at The Finch recommended Bowen House and it did not disappoint! It was extremely loud and busy when we went, but we were immediately put on the waiting list and were seated before our drinks came out. The cocktails were excellent - espresso martini was heavier on the espresso flavor which was great but the bitter lemon soda was SO refreshing. Lorenzo was our primary bartender and he was levelheaded and organized despite the chaos and some *slightly* impatient customers. The drinks were a bit more expensive than I’m used to but it was such a cool location and great quality that I think it was worth it

HG Sply Co. is a rustic-chic restaurant that offers American meals, craft beers, and cocktails in a laid-back setting with a rooftop patio. The establishment focuses on serving healthy, sustainably sourced food with minimal manipulation to promote a long and happy life. Their menu features delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as carefully selected chicken, meat, and fish options.
I can’t say enough good things about HG Sply Co in Dallas! This spot checks all the boxes, great food, inviting atmosphere, and an impressive selection of gluten-free options that never feel like an afterthought. The menu is fresh, flavorful, and clearly designed with intention. Whether you're fully gluten-free or just health-conscious, you’ll find delicious choices without sacrificing taste or variety. The cauliflower rice bowl and bison burger (on a GF bun!) were standouts, and the staff was knowledgeable & incredibly accommodating about dietary needs. The rooftop view is the cherry on top, perfect for brunch, dinner, or a casual hangout with friends. HG Sply Co has definitely earned a spot on my go-to list in Dallas. Highly recommend!
Rickie L — Google review
Omg!!! I took a break from eating out so much, and had not been here in like a year. Today I decided to walk in and order my normal dish, but all the dishes people were having were things I hadn’t saw before. So I ordered the Charred Campfire Chicken and it came with the most amazing coleslaw! You guys this dish hit out of the ballpark! Don’t everybody go all at once because I’ll be back, and I don’t want it to be packed when I get there!
Chavella S — Google review
This spot is a winner! The food here is genuinely tasty, which is a huge commendation, especially for a menu that contains little meat options. Whether you're a devout vegan or a meat-eater, this restaurant is great for all food eaters. If you're looking for the best place to eat clean and healthy, look no further. A highlight was the beet juice drink, which was described as both interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

HG Sply Co. is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is lively, the rooftop patio offers amazing views, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. One of my favorite dishes is the yellow curry—perfectly spiced, rich, and packed with fresh ingredients. If you're looking for something healthy yet satisfying, this is the spot. The drinks are just as impressive, with well-crafted cocktails that pair perfectly with the food. The service is always friendly and attentive, even when it’s busy. Whether you're coming for brunch, happy hour, or dinner, you’re in for a great experience.
Shanèe F — Google review
HG Sply Co. needs to be on your rotation. The ingredients they use feel healthy and taste great. If you’re into tracking your macros, the menu provides the data so you don’t have to fudge your numbers. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor seating options. We sat out front on a warm evening with a gentle breeze and relatively low humidity. It was great to see people out enjoying themselves. Our server was friendly and took care of us. The food felt a bit slow in coming, but it didn’t matter. It allowed us to relax a bit longer and enjoy our time on lower Greenville.
Grish240 — Google review
I really enjoyed HG Supply! The avocado deviled eggs were delicious, and the fries were great. My chicken sandwich was a bit underdone, and the service could’ve been a little more attentive, but overall it was a decent experience and a nice alternative spot to dine.
Allena S — Google review
Alec was such a great server! Helped me select a fab meal. And the bar staff was able to turn the TV to F1 quali so I got to enjoy that too. If you need GF food, there are nice choices here.

Tiny Victories is a small but charming cocktail bar located in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas. Despite its size, it offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere with a 40-seat capacity. The bar features an industrial decor and a small patio with a tiki hut for outdoor enjoyment. Known for its expertly mixed cocktails, Tiny Victories offers cleverly named drinks at affordable prices, starting at just $7.
Wow! Visiting Dallas from Nashville and stumbled upon this place. Literally stumbled because it’s hidden. So glad we did! We had the female bar tender brunette with bangs and was very sweet and attentive. The drinks are absolutely insane the way they taste and presentation. Love this place! I’m not sure of all of the one star vibes but it looks like some drunk girl got all of her friends to write the same review for her. Edit: bartender’s name is Laney and she is phenomenal! Love her!

Not to be confused with Small Victory. Very good selection of spirits for straight pours and solid cocktail skills among the staff. Lets you bring in outside food. DJ on the weekend don’t can get a little loud. Great neighborhood spot.

The atmosphere was cool, music was great and food was good, BUT WHATS MAKES A GREAT BAR???... The bartender!!! The bartender SUCKED. His attitude was horrible, he could not recommend a drink for me to try, he had no specialty drinks that are popular to that bar. I had a Applebee's experience in a niche bar space. If management replaces this poor representation of their investment, I can quickly see this place becoming a FAN FAVORITE!!! *** NEW PATRONS or Curious Drinkers BEWARE***
Darrick F — Google review
Such a nice and chill spot for drinks or a date. We tried maybe 10+ different drinks and loved everyone. The 2 Baristas were fantastic, exceptional service and atmosphere all around.
Frankie F — Google review
What a delightful location for cocktails whilst visiting Oak Cliff! The waitstaff was super attentive and the drinks are very good too. Want extra olives in your martini? No problem- the bartender is happy to accommodate your request. The outdoor seating is sparse- a couple of tables in front and a lounge off to the side. The lounge would have been more comfortable than the table on Tyler, but their were smokers in the lounge - which made it uncomfortable for those of us who choose not to smoke. Inside, the music was loud. Really loud. My husband and I wanted a quiet post meal cocktail and drinking and taking inside Tiny Victories was not possible. So 4 stars because it is good- but not excellent. And why the neon TYPO sign on top? The bold, bright letters in this vintage area looked like a mistake on the part of the building owner. But TV was good - so Cheers!!!

Leela's Wine Bar - Uptown is a charming spot located in the McKinney street area, offering a great selection of wines and thin-crust pizzas. The restaurant features ample outdoor seating and is conveniently situated near other dining options and a parking garage. It's an ideal place for a casual lunch or after-work drink, with excellent salads and a tropical ambiance. The brunch menu may be somewhat limited, but they offer a fantastic mimosa special.
This was the perfect spot for date night! Ilse, our server, truly made the evening unforgettable. She was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and made us feel so well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, but it was Ilse’s outstanding service that really elevated the experience. Highly recommend this place—ask for Ilse if you can!

So lovely! Expertly decorated for the season with some standout menu items to match. We spilt the seasonal pizza options and also tried some of the limited drinks - all around wonderful! Affordable, cute, delicious. What more could you ask for?

Leela’s went ABOVE AND BEYOND!! They comped our drinks after waiting (not even very long… and we didn’t ask for that at all) they said they strive for excellence and we waited longer than we should have. They also gave us warm chocolate chip cookies for our anniversary. Drinks are phenomenal. *espresso martinis are SUPERB* Customer service is fantastic. We will definitely be back!!!

First time here. Loved the interior and the vibe. All the employees were so nice and amazing. A nice gentleman brought us water when he saw we were sitting at the bar waiting to be served. Juan was our server and he was just so fantastic. He was very busy but he didn’t act stressed at all. So pleasant and wonderful to talk to. A kind young lady made me another drink while Juan was handling a huge party. It was a fabulous experience. We will be back!

I was highly disappointed with my first experience at Leela's Wine Bar in Uptown on 10/29/25. I was in Dallas for a few days on business and thought that this would be the perfect place to unwind after a long day of meetings. This place has a very cozy and charming aesthetic that was impressive. I was greeted by the friendly host, seated, and given a glass of water. I sat there for over 20 minutes as the wait staff walked past my table multiple times to service other patrons. I ended up just walking out because I had already had a long day. I waisted my time and also spent $25 for parking.

I wish I could give this place zero out of five stars. I have never, had a worse experience. I went to this restaurant with my friend to celebrate her new promotion, she recommended the place because she had been there before and had a great time. We were sat pretty quickly by the bartender, the restaurant was calm, only four tables in the restaurant already serviced. After being sat, we were blatantly ignored, the same bartender checked on the other tables and did not say a word to us. After about 20 mins a table of three walked in whom the bartender quickly serviced and helped them get set up with plastic cups so they could sit in the lawn area across from them. At this point we go up to the bar to order, it takes the bartender even longer to find the items on her toast. We go back outside because she said she would bring us our stuff to the table, that did not happen. Our appetizer was brought out before we had silverware, waters or even plates. The red head who brought our food was uninterested in talking to our table or making sure we were okay. We continued to watch the bartender clean the bar, while the other 4 tables in the restaurant were fully serviced besides ours and the red head eat food before either of them decided to bring out our wine. The wine comes for the bartender to complain to us that “trump shut down there system so they are unable to get paid correctly and they have to keep all of their receipts”. Though I can empathize with that issue, I’m more confused that neither her or the woman who brought out our food had no concern for us not being taken care of. The wine was sour and unenjoyable. She continues to check on other tables and ignoring ours. She finally came back to check on us and we let her know we did not like the wine, she basically told us that didn’t make sense took the bottle back and then came back and asked if we wanted to split our check or not. No replacement or suggestion for another wine, no remorse for not communicating with us, and no acknowledgement of the very clear energy shift since we walked through the door. We said we would split it and I noticed the price was high for splitting it in half and she assured me it was, I pay out for her to recognize in fact was not split, another show of her not knowing how to use her toast. I have never been so frustrated at a restaurant and their service.

We had such a great experience at Leela’s in Uptown! Destiny, our server, was amazing — so sweet, intentional, and patient with us while we took our time deciding what to eat (and later, which dessert to get — the lemon bar or chocolate chip cookie… we loved both!). She made the experience feel great. 10/10! Mikayla, the manager, was also great — she checked in to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel really welcomed.

Dined in on Monday night. I ordered the Margherita pizza and it had the perfect crisp with just the right amount of olive oil drizzle that did not make you me feel it was too greasy and heavy. I also ordered an espresso martini that was recommended by bartender Jaime and was quite impressed at how good it was as I don’t really like coffee. I will say the aesthetic was very pleasing and clean.

Whether you're sipping on a Mint Julep or exploring their impressive selection of wines and craft beers, The Standard Pour ensures every drink is made with quality ingredients.
I enjoyed the vibe in this place. They have an extensive selection of spirits. The happy hour deals are pretty great. The old fashions were exactly what I was needing. The chicken tenders with their signature house sauce certainly does not disappoint. It's a huge helping and it was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

The restaurant looks nice and British from outside, so we went for a meal. We saw some dishes we liked in Google's photo album, but they were no longer on the menu as they were from a year ago. So we ordered their recommended Blue cheese chicken sandwich and salmon, which were a bit salty. The Blue Moon beer was good though.

We came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago looking for a new cocktail bar and have since become regular customers. The bartenders, Kyle & Jacob, took care of us, made beautiful cocktails, and answered our questions with so much respect. We cannot recommend them more! The food is phenomenal whether you opt for the chicken tenders or go all out with the lobster ravioli or steak frites!

This place is an absolute gem. We had a party of five on a Sunday during brunch time and we enjoyed the drinks and food. The cinnamon rolls and Belgian waffles were delectable and fresh. I particularly appreciate the portions of their food and drinks. Prices were very reasonable, especially for uptown Dallas. We look forward to coming again!

Happy Hour drinks range from $4-$7 and were delicious! Wait staff were quick & attentive. I don't think the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers were worth the Happy Hour price though... ($11) very underwhelming

The menu boasts dishes like Fried Green Tomatoes, Swedish Meatballs, Three Mushroom Fettuccine, house-made Corned Beef Reuben, and Bone-In Pork Milanese. This restaurant is the perfect spot for brunch! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious, each dish bursting with flavor. Whether you're there for a casual bite or a more refined brunch experience, the menu has something for everyone. I highly recommend this place for a girls' brunch or a family gathering. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between casual and upscale, making it great for dressing up a little. They even have a small indoor balcony that’s ideal for a cozy, intimate setting. Whether you’re sharing secrets with a close friend or enjoying a romantic date with your significant other, it provides a wonderful ambiance. The drinks were refreshing and flavorful, perfectly complementing the appetizers, which were the ideal starter to get the meal going. The main dishes were just as impressive, living up to the high expectations set by the appetizers. Whether you're enjoying a classic brunch dish or something a little more unique, you won’t be disappointed by the quality or taste. Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic place to enjoy great food, a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere, and delicious drinks. It's an excellent choice for any brunch occasion!

The Ramble Room is a solid choice if you’re in the SMU area and looking for a place with good food, comfortable seating, and an energetic vibe. The service is friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s one of those places that isn’t my first choice of a place for dinner but I’m satisfied when I do go.

Discovered this restaurant recently through UberEats. Ordered delivery twice and first experience with food was overall better than the second. Salmon was cooked well and flavorful. I had an issue with the drinks that came with my order. ETA: I reached out to the manager on duty and I do appreciate their response and what sounded like sincerity in making sure my next experience would be better. I'm now entirely pleased with my experience and thankful for the staff going above and beyond with my delivery order.

Checked out Ramble Room on Friday evening. The place was packed. Definitely make reservations. We were seated in the upstairs balcony with a view of the entire restaurant, which was nice. There are a variety of items on the menu to satisfy any taste. The service was great. Items came out hot and quick. I chose The Plaza Burger, and it was delicious. The Fried Green Tomatoes did not disappoint either. Definitely get the Caesar Brussels! From the bar: I started with The Blackberry Bramble. Definitely got me right. Shoutout to the bartender. After dinner, I had The Cosmo. The Tito's is on tap, and it was nice and cold. It was a great evening. I'm looking forward to returning.

This new American concept from the Imperial Fizz group occupies a great location in Snider Plaza in the ground level of the Hilltop building. The space really is beautiful, exuding that old-school, clubby vibe. The menu has a broad selection of classics, including salads, burgers, pasta, fish and steak. All of the food items we tried I would categorize as "good". They met our expectations, but nothing was outstanding. My only complaint would be the portion size on the Calamari starter was too small. Service is a little clunky, being great at times and then confused or inattentive at others, but decent overall. The restaurant isn't quite as good as similar offerings, but it may very well be the best restaurant in Snider Plaza, so it's worth a stop if you are nearby.

This was a really cozy and peaceful brunch experience. I brought a friend from out of town here and we enjoyed everything we had (salmon, rigatoni, & mushroom soup). The server was attentive as well. I came back the following day for take-out and didn’t find it as good as the experience of dining in (salmon was a much smaller portion size and was cooked harder than the prior day—I ordered and prefer medium). But I will definitely return to dine-in. It is a nice experience and the energy is great inside. They seem to really care about quality and it shows!

Enjoyed our first brunch. Great selection of drinks (38+ beers), cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. I had the mother and child reunion and my husband had the fajita omelette. He had the milky punch and i had a beer. One of my favorite parts of our experience was that the manager pointed out that my long dress was caught under the chair next to me so that i would not tear my dress when i got up -- such a mark of great customer service. Our waitress was very attentive. Loved the valet parking. Will return.

We ate here for dinner, they have a different menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I can't wait to try their breakfast! We got... Deviled eggs, duck wings, bone marrow, risotto tots, shrimp and grits, ribeye, caramel pumpkin bread pudding, and cheesecake. The only thing I don't recommend is the steak. It was cooked well, but it lacked flavor and for that price I would just get something else. Great service all the way around. Parking is valet, dress was business casual to casual. Great for a date night.

Beautiful spot with fantastic fresh flavors. Everything we tried was wonderfully tasty. From the sweet rolls to the waffles, it was all presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. We had the cinnamon rolls, waffles, avacado toast with eggs and the homemade cheesecake. They have a wonderful beer selection. I would love to go back and try more. It was delicious. I'm hoping they decide to reopen elsewhere at the end of the month. They are so much better than a lot of places.

What a lovely casual dining experience. Per the website, they’re closing soon, so I’m glad I got to try it out. Came for brunch & had the Donut Sandwich 🤯 absolutely delicious! The combination of sweet & savory was a pleasant delight. Also tried the Bacon Waffle—the caramelized apples are sweet perfection. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. Restaurant is a such a gem, hate to see it close.

My wife and I went to this place for date night and it did not disappoint. It's a bar, but not loud like most sports bars. It had a very calm atmosphere. The service was impeccable; however the star of the show was the food. We only ordered small plates, but they do have entrees. We started with the chicken skins, Belgium Mussels, and duck wings. The chicken skins were crispy, hot, and well seasoned. They came with a spicy sesame sauce that balanced the fattiness of the skins. The duck wings were our personal favorite. They were plump, juicy, and the sauce was addictive. They were not greasy nor gamey. With every bite the meat came clean off the bone. The mussels were amazing as well. You could drink the broth; it was that good; however, not to offend, I recommend just asking for extra bread. We also had the truffle fries, which were hot, crispy, and not over seasoned. We had the fried shrimp as well. They had good flavor. Again, they were crispy and not greasy. The seasoning was good as well. The brussel sprouts were our least favorite. They were overcooked and really didn't taste like anything. Please see the attached pictures. Overall, I would recommend this place for dates or just going out with friends. Give it a try.

Had dinner here with 14 other people and had a great time. We shared a lot of plates and most of the food was fantastic. They have a great beer selection, with 40 on tap! The service was good. We liked the short rib, sirloin on crispy rice, Brussels sprouts and Dr pepper ribs. All delicious!

First time visitor with my family, did my research, and it WAS EVERYTHING as advertised. Beautiful place with its on chic-retro vibe, clean, excellent customer service, and THE FOOD was TOP NOTCH-both in quality, taste and presentation, and was not overpriced like some places based on what you “actually get”. I got Dr. Pepper ribs and the Mr. got braised ribs. They were Amazing! It was hard to choose entrees because the entire menu is full of excellent choices; there’s something for EVERYONE-no matter your food preference or diet type. I will visit again…..and again!

TL;DR: A beer nerd’s dream with food way better than it needed to be, perfect vibes, and staff that felt like friends. RIP, legend. Not much to say… except this place absolutely slapped. Meddlesome Moth had one of the best draft beer selections in the city (basically a hoppy encyclopedia), food that went way beyond “bar food,” and a staff that made you feel like a regular even if it was your first visit. The interior? Sexy without trying. The patio? Cottagecore meets craft beer. Every visit felt like a warm hug with a cold pint. Gone too soon—but never forgotten. Cheers to the memories.

I've been here many times with friends & family throughout the years. Slammed packed busy days to slow days. I always forgot to leave a review. For dine in, they have always been consistent across the board. The only little downside was tonight with a over cooked deep-fried hush-puppy (still delicious) and not having their Mac & cheese anymore (my daughter's favorite).

This was our first time coming to this restaurant, and I have to say it was super cute! We started off with a bowl of clam chowder, and also the lobster dip, which was a suggestion from our server. Both were absolutely delicious! For our entrées, we got the Tuna poke bowl and the Fish tacos. Both were very fresh, delicious, and a good value for the price. They were a little short staffed today, but our server really took great care of us. We would definitely return
Ryan R — Google review
The staff and service was impeccable, however the ambiance was slightly detracted because of the slight smell of fish inside the restaurant. For this reason I opted for the patio, however the location is in a strip mall so it's not optimal. I had the market price lobster roll which is fairly big and I think decent value and quite tasty. There is some cleaning that needs to be done around the tables as there is some candy and wrappers under the table. A few little tweaks would bring the overall experience up a notch, but like I said the staff was on point and engaging while still professional and very fast.

This place is really good, can’t wait to try other menu items. By far best dish is the fish and chips. I tried the hot lava shrimp stater it was very delicious. Spicy noodles very filling. I came back and I got the lobster roll, it’s not the best thing on the menu. Mashed potatoes were OK but they were warm not fresh in my opinion. The lemons they give you with the roll is great. Will be back Little pricey but food is worth most of the time. Molten lava cake was too sweet ice cream was good. Ice cold water refilled when needed by attentive servers.

Have been a customer since 2009, have had many different dishes, most very good and some just okay, but tonight I had the worst.. the lobster roll is imo a loss for me! The roll was nothing but a butter soaked mess, a mere 3 pieces of lobster meat, and cold chips 🤔 I could hardly wait for my wife to finish her meal so we could go and just get the plate out of my view… I should have taken the persons hint when I asked how hers was and she said just so so, and she was a regular as well, o well maybe the next visit will be better(it better be)! And I have noticed that the indoor volume level just keeps increasing, I just don’t understand why people have to yell at each other while dining, it makes my decision to visit an easy one over a more quiet respectful indoor environment!!!
Devil D — Google review
Came back again a few weeks after my first visit and really enjoyed it! The shrimp tacos are phenomenal. I enjoyed the Caesar salad with smoked salmon (salmon def the star of the dish) but my friend got the house salad and asked for both of the dressings (wasabi and champagne) and wow…amazing, i want to go back just for that! My first time here and can’t wait to go back! Really enjoyed my visit. They’ve been around for 34 years now and Jon the owner, told us all about what they’re doing to really revamp TJ’s and you can see it, feel it and taste it! They have a little market in the front for you to grab and go. They have fish/seafood deliveries daily! So the selection (and where it’s coming from) constantly changes. Everything was so fresh (never frozen) and perfectly cooked. You could taste how fresh everything was. The lobster in the lobster roll was just wow…no hiding cheap or frozen lobster there - lightly dressed in butter and it was all about the lobster (and a great bun from a local bakery). Got to try a little bit of everything (it was an invited dinner but you could tell from everything I heard and saw, that the quality is good consistently, not just this one time) and I am grateful for it! A few dishes I would’ve never thought to order on my own but thoroughly enjoyed and want to go back for again especially the sea bass enchiladas … wow, amazing. They have a handful of dishes that they’ve had around forever because their locals / consistent clientele come back again and again for certain things but they also refresh parts of the menu from time to time (which they just did) and I think they do a great job of keeping what’s popular while also bringing in some fresh new things. The smoked salmon Caesar salad was unbelievably good. If I lived around the corner I’d literally be there once a week just for that, right up my alley. I really enjoyed everything. The tacos were great, you can get them a few different ways (on corn, flour or lettuce wrap; fried or grilled). The dips (cold spread trio) were really delicious. Excellent shrimp cocktail and the coconut shrimp was good but I could’ve used more coconut (and bigger shreds of it…tasted more like fried shrimp than coconut shrimp). The bacon aioli sauce for the hush puppies was awesome. The salmon over creamed corn and broccolini was really nice. The whole menu sounds amazing, and great to have an excellent option for seafood in an area that’s predominantly bbq and meat focused. Desserts were also really nice, made in house there. The key lime cheesecake was my favorite. The chocolate pie was great. The bananas foster was their own spin with angel food cake I think? A nice lighter option for dessert. But the cheesecake won out for sure. Highly recommend!

The restaurant/bar is nicely decorated. The first floor is for a more formal experience and the rooftop is casual of course. Good music but a little loud. There was only one person serving all the tables of the rooftop for dinner on a Thursday evening. Of course not a good idea since he needed help. The food was good. Good vibes in general.

We have tried this place several times for brunch. Recently, we sat outside on the covered patio and had a good time. We started with the spicy tuna sticky rice. It had great flavor and was a nice portion to share. I had the bacon and egg breakfast tacos (3). My wife had the chicken schnitzel with eggs and grits. The portion sizes match the decent prices. The bar area inside looked nice and there is a roof top we haven’t checked out yet. We will be back for more brunch menu items and/or a happy hour sometime. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

This place was okay. There were a few flies around my food since the place is open door 🥴. The server brought a flycatcher that didn’t do much. I ate all my food, the staff had avg service, and the popcorn and drinks were fine. It wasn’t horrible, but I probably won’t go back. Average experience. Not exceptional good but nothing horrible happened. I think it’s still a good place to go in the area.

Haven't ever tried the food here but it's a great place for drinks. Absolutely the BEST water. And I know that sounds crazy, but it's the best. They also have a really fun and inventive cocktail list, plus some of your old standards. My only gripe is they put freaking cinnamon in an old fashioned. Cinnamon has no place in that drink lol

The restaurant was beautiful, clean, and well organized. Me and 2 friends went there for dinner, and reservations were strongly recommended, but we walked in and got seated immediately! Of course it wasn't busy, but our waiters and hostesses were kind and made sure we got what we wanted; I almost forgot to put cheese on a burger, so he asked if I wanted that or no, which was just really nice. The later in the night it got, the noiser/ busier it got, but we could still hear and clearly understand each other. There is a bar, and the booths are massive, so you could easily fit a party of 10 at one table. There is a rooftop option, but when I went it was closed for a private event- but cool to note that they have one! The burger I got was amazing, and my friend got a Miss Dallas drink which was pretty strong but tasty. The food tasted excelent, and service was good!

Las Palmas Tex-Mex is a vibrant restaurant housed in a bright pink building, offering creative south-of-the-border cocktails and Tex-Mex combination plates. The establishment hosts a generous happy hour from 2 to 6 pm with discounted draft beers, Ranch Waters, Old Fashioneds, and Margaritas alongside affordable Tex-Mex plates like crispy tacos, burritos, tamales, and nacho fries.
We had an incredible experience at Las Palmas Tex-Mex in Dallas — it completely lived up to the buzz and then some. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance hit all the right notes: relaxed yet elevated, with warm lighting, welcoming service, and a beautiful patio setting that felt unmistakably Texan. We started with their creamy queso, which came loaded with jalapeños and melty cheese — rich, comforting, and clearly made for sharing. The chips and salsa were outstanding: you get both a verde and a red salsa, and both had deep flavor with just the right amount of heat. Fresh toppings like chopped onions and cilantro elevated each bite. For mains, I ordered the brisket birria tacos, and they were spot-on — juicy, flavorful, and wrapped in lightly crisped tortillas that held together beautifully. The portion was generous and deeply satisfying. My wife had the fajita combo, which was served sizzling and then drizzled with bone marrow juice at the table — easily one of the most flavorful fajita presentations we’ve had anywhere. Every element was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Service was excellent — attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly — and the portions were hearty without being overwhelming. Las Palmas strikes a great balance between modern flair and traditional Tex-Mex comfort, making it a perfect choice whether you’re visiting Dallas or live here. Pro tip: come hungry and try the bone marrow fajita — it’s a standout. Verdict: 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back.

Wow! Great food, great atmosphere and great service! 30 minute wait - yet sat at the bar. There’s two bars within the restaurant. House margaritas weren’t strong but weren’t weak - perfect. Chips and salsa was plentiful for just one diner (just me). Salsas were very good! Chips tasted homemade! Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! My wife and I stopped in for lunch for our very first visit, and it won’t be our last! The cozy atmosphere and background music made it feel warm and inviting. The chips and salsa were amazing, and the queso was creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor. At the owner’s suggestion, we shared the ½ order of ribs, perfectly seasoned, served over a bed of fries with charro beans on the side. We finished with sopapilla cheesecake à la mode. Perfectly baked and absolutely delicious. Everything about this meal was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back and will be telling others!

Friend and I went on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and it was amazing! The food was great and the service was amazing- but I really want to shout out whoever was bartender and made our classic frozen margaritas. I don’t usually order alcohol but I am so happy I did when I was there! Overall, great place and definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful experience at Las Palmas! The staff was extremely courteous and attentive from start to finish. When my daughter ordered queso, we quickly realized it was far too spicy for her to enjoy. Without hesitation, the team kindly comped the dish—even though my son was practically licking the bowl clean because he loved it so much. Many of their dishes do lean on the spicier side, but I found them to be absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The ambience is hip, stylish, and fun—perfect for a night out. I’m already looking forward to patio weather so I can come back and sip on a margarita while soaking it all in!

Service is amazing every time we come in, food is good. I prefer the inside seating, but the patio is alright. I get the deluxe plate.the enchiladas suizas are a must too! Ask for the habanero salsa if you want something spicier. The frozen margs are super yummy and you only need one!

The food is amazing and service EVEN BETTER!!!! From the time you walk In you're greeted with friendly faces. Abraham was our server and he was absolutely amazing by the time we fished our drinks he was walking by refilling our cups. The fajita fiesta is 10/10!!!!!!

Nestled in the heart of Chicago, D.L. Mack’s is a charming eatery that embodies the spirit of a classic tavern while offering an upscale dining experience. Known for its exceptional thin-crust tavern-style pizza, this spot has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The pizza, available in one size only, boasts the perfect balance of ingredients and features a delightful crispy crust that truly captures the essence of Chicago's culinary scene. D.L.
Fantastic dining option from the Vandelay group. The ambiance is super warm in here and can be great for many occasions including date night or getting together with friends. We enjoyed a regular martini and espresso martini which were part of a great happy hour. We then split a salad and pizza (Bill Murray Special) which were also amazing. This was one of the more enjoyable dining experiences we have had recently and plan on coming back.

Other than an initial issue with drinks which our server quickly rectified, our group enjoyed our time at DL Macks on Hillcrest. I ordered a non-alcoholic beverage, but they brought me the drink with alcohol in it. They placed “nonalcoholic” in parentheses on their menu, which I feel causes confusion. Overall, we liked our dining experience at the restaurant. Fun atmosphere with old Chicago decor. Delicious food, especially the pizza! Good service. Make reservations because it gets busy! No valet, but you can park in the lot or the nearby garage with its public entrance on the other side. You can also park on the neighborhood street. Pay attention to signs.

Cute neighbor spot! We came for lunch and no wait time. We ordered: Deviled eggs - solid Smoked Salmon - nice sauce Chinese Chicken Salad (I would prefer them to just name it Asian, not sure what made it specifically Chinese) - good flavors though Next time, I want to try their pizzas! Overall, not bad spot. Really vibey, seems like it would be busier on dinner nights.

Great atmosphere and vibe. It was very lively on a Saturday night. Simple, and very tasty menu. The spicy Mexican drink is excellent. If you like a little heat, the spicy rigatoni is phenomenal - add the Italian sausage. Very quick service. Get the desert!

So good!! Big fan of Hudson House so I knew this place was going to be great when I found out they’re sister restaurants. Everything was amazing! My favorite appetizer was the spinach dip. I wish they’d bring back the matchbooks though.

Loved this place! The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. Our server Alex was amazing! The kitchen accidentally messed up my friends order and he immediate got it taken care of! I had the chicken parm with the pesto on the side and it was so good! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Was very bummed as an avid regular at both DL Mack locations in Dallas. We love the DL Mack’s Happy Hour, especially on Friday nights. I made a reservation at 5:30 pm on the patio to get our typical happy hour pizzas and cocktails. We were running a few minutes late so we called the location to let them know and they said “no worries.” When we arrived, we waited 25 minutes for our table reservation. When we sat down inside (not on the patio like I made the reservation), we asked to receive Happy Hour pricing since we made our reservation for 5:30 pm. Our waiter told us no we could not. This was a big bummer as we weren’t seated were we made the reservation, and 25 minutes late. As a loyal customer to both locations, this is highly disappointing. I might be having to find a new spot and take my Happy Hour spot elsewhere. I hope that isn’t the case because we do love DL Mack’s so much!

Anchor Sushi Bar is the latest hotspot in Preston Hollow, Dallas, offering a stunning sushi concept that's highly sought after. The restaurant provides an amazing ambiance and attentive staff. Guests can start their dining experience with a lychee martini and indulge in delectable rolls like the Lala roll, featuring cucumber-wrapped salmon, crab, tuna, Hamachi, and avocado.
If you enjoy sushi, Anchor Sushi Bar is a fantastic spot!! The restaurant is clean, well designed and the staff is very helpful and friendly! Jose helped my wife and I at the bar with cocktails and apps + signature sushi rolls and wine. The specialty rolls are unique and have great taste with lots of different flavors, using very fresh seafood and ingredients. Definitely try their Anchor Roll if you like citrus and cilantro. The Best Roll - is also excellent! If you're in the mood for some spice, the Spicy Sinatra Roll is great!! No matter what you order, you will be happy here. Can't wait to go back again!

This was my first time coming here, when I tell you this is definitely worth the drive. We came all the way from South Carolina. This is by far the best sushi, seafood and drinks I’ve had in a very long time. I will definitely be back! Everything was definitely cooked to perfection, with the right amount of seasoning. Thank you Micheal for making our experience great, our serve was so sweet as well.

I can’t think of a better lunch than fresh Sushi on a hot day☀️ As you can see, when I visited at 1pm in the afternoon on a weekday it was empty. After enjoying this delicious meal I’m confused why! Trust me, it’s worth braving the heat of the rolls and service here at Anchor. Also, what an adorable name! I definitely felt the marine aesthetic

Great area and kind staff. This was a great location walkable to many other sites. The Brussels sprouts were divine, the sushi was good but I was really hoping for a bit more when it came to flavor, variety, and creativity of rolls. Overall it’s a great place and the food was quality.

Goldie's Dallas is a fantastic addition to the Lake Highlands area, offering amazing food, great drinks, and excellent service. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it a wonderful new find for locals and visitors alike. Guests rave about the incredible guava chicken, which is tender and flavorful. While the main dining room can be a bit loud, the overall experience at Goldie's Dallas is highly praised for its top-notch service and delicious offerings.
I recently had a wonderful date night with my boyfriend at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and promptly seated. Our waiter, Jacy, was amazing and helped us choose our cocktails while explaining everything on the menu in detail. When our food arrived, it was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had such a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place!

Loved coming across this beautiful place. From their exterior you could tell the design was going to be good and it did not disappoint. Their drinks are phenomenal and although I only had appetizers they did not disappoint. Our server was great and host was very attentive. This is the beauty behind an intimate restaurant.

Wife and I did a date night here and had an overall good experience. Fairly small dining area, unique interior design to the place, vibey, cool ambiance. Pretty loud inside, we’re 33 and 30, so not being super picky here but having a conversation across the table wasn’t easy. Service was 12/10, our server was knowledgeable, had banter and provided great service. Had a spicy marg and wine, which we were both happy with. Started off with the bone marrow bruschetta, solid appetizer here, the toast points were grilled to perfection and had a great crisp, plentiful bone marrow on each one. I got the crispy cod, served with what I believe was fried green onion and a slaw on the side, along with a secret sauce. The batter on the fish, perfection, crispy, flavorful, seasoned well. Wish it was served with fries or something a bit more filling for $26, but we did order a side of fries and they were great. Good experience, would come back.

I’ve been twice now and I’m already excited for the next time I get to go back! The cocktails are so fun (get the espresso martini!) and taste great, the food is amazing - you can’t go wrong with anything you get but highly recommend the tuna appetizer, chicken thighs, fries AND the dessert - the service is like you’re at a high end steakhouse, they don’t mess around and want you to have a great time!! Highly recommend for a date night, night with your girls or a little happy hour after work. So happy this little gem is in our neighborhood.

Over priced and ok. We sat at the bar and it was a little loud. We had no clue there was anither seating area on the other side. The milanese lamb ($38) was not my cup of tea and the Hot Mess ($22) tasted like regular spaghetti with basil. I got one of their cocktails and it was about 3 sips for $15. Great atmosphere and ambiance but not impressed due to pricing and quality.
Heather S — Google review
Fun neighborhood spot! Very intimate main room, side room as well with cool red velvet booths. Only 8 barstools so don’t count on grabbing a drink here. Got Bab’s Bicicletta, interesting take on an aperol spritz! Skinniest glass ever. (Apps between $15-26, entres between $19-36, great wine list $52-100/bottle.) My bartender Stacy was delightful and recommended the Magic Chicken Thighs, amazing!! Just a kick of spice, it was so full of flavor. Serving size was incredible for the price. The mashed yams almost stole the show. it. Sweet, spicy, wow! 11/10 Dessert is the host’s own cake which won 2nd place at the state fair, however, I didn’t enjoy it unfortunately. The host Christopher seems to have personal relationships with many regulars, very hospitable and warm. They were fully covered on a Saturday night and didn’t squeeze in walk ins that would mess with reservations which I always appreciate. Something is disorganized with the host stand. Single host was frequently not there and then multiple other people would greet guests but not attend them. I sat at bar ungreeted for a while as well. Lots of beef tallow/kefir on the menu, gonna have to go back and try those fries! Overall, excited we have something with this upscale tone in Lake Highlands.

Exactly what Lake Highlands needed! We've visited Goldie's twice since they opened and the food and service have been incredible! Great spot for date night and very accommodating for babies. My wife and I celebrated our 11th anniversary here, and it was unforgettable! The shrimp & grits were amazing, and my wife loved the Lazy Susan sampler (perfect even without meat). Our server Kristian was fantastic, and the atmosphere was spot on. The highlight was Janie, the night manager, such a ball of joy! She made us feel so special, even surprising us with a thoughtful anniversary gift as we left. Truly above and beyond service. Ida Claire gave us not just a meal, but a memory we’ll never forget. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Love this place! Their brunch is unlike any other. Love the shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, honey cinnamon latte, and drip coffee. The location is so cute with so much charm and whimsy! Service is great as well! We came on a Sunday morning and the place was busy but we didn’t have a long wait at all for a small group.

Came by for lunch after an appointment and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this spot turned out to be. It was quite busy, so we were seated on the patio, but with the beautiful weather, it actually worked out perfectly. The staff was attentive and very helpful with recommendations since it was our first visit. We started with the fried green tomatoes and biscuits, both of which were delicious. Our drinks were excellent as well, and I appreciated that they offered some great mocktail options. For the main course, I ordered the chicken and waffles, the coffee-infused syrup gave it a unique and flavorful twist that I really enjoyed. The blackened salmon, however, was a bit underwhelming. That said, dessert completely redeemed the meal. The “Vice Cake” (a stout cake layered with coffee buttercream, tobacco syrup, chocolate ganache, candied bacon, hemp seeds, and sea salt) was incredible, and it paired perfectly with the macchiato. I finished off with an iced lavender latte made with local coffee from Richardson, which had amazing depth and flavor, the perfect way to end our lunch.

Came here to have Brunch with my sister! Food was pretty good! I had to return my first order (Shrimp and Grits)and replaced it with the Chicken and Waffles. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Our waitress was professional and very attentive! I would come back with the hopes of a 5 star experience!

Had a great lunch outing with the family at Ida Claire! The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for relaxing and catching up. I had the burger and fries with a margarita — everything hit the spot. The burger was juicy, the fries perfectly crisp, and the margarita balanced just right. Definitely one of those meals that reminds you why dining out is worth it. We’ll be back for sure.

I am in disbelief that I have not left a review of Ida Claire! This is always a hit. The biscuits, the gravy, the candied maple bacon, the chorizo sausage patties, the FRENCH TOAST (Seriously, you are not going to finish this no matter how hard you try), incredible. Even when it is busy, which... it's is usually always busy. Such a great place. Our server was awesome and on top of things. Drinks are spot. You have to book at least by Tuesday or Wednesday if you want a good brunch time spot. If it is a holiday, plan way ahead. Mother's Day, Easter, you gotta get them weeks in advance for a prime spot, but worth it!
Sidney G — Google review
Ida Claire was one of those meals you don’t even stop to photograph. It was that good. The only pic I managed to take was of my mimosa, made just right with a splash of OJ and the rest champagne. I ordered the fried chicken with lobster mac and cheese, and every bite was worth it. My server was excellent, attentive, helpful and made great suggestions without hovering. I’ll definitely be back.
Deira C — Google review
We enjoyed the ambiance and decor. We decided to sit at the bar due to the wait (a good choice). I ordered the lobster mac & cheese, and while I enjoyed the dish it lacked flavor. I was unsure if this was deliberate to ensure the lobster popped or due to the busyness. I sampled the VICE cake, intrigued by the tobacco syrup in the description on the menu. The balance of sweet and salty was superb. The cake was a tad dry but overall pretty good! I would love to try the brunch and breakfast menu!

Uchi Dallas is a sleek and modern Japanese restaurant located in Uptown. Since its opening in 2015, it has gained a reputation for its impressive menu and polished service. The sushi menu features a variety of fish flown in from Japan's Toyosu Market, offering classic favorites like salmon and tuna as well as unique options such as bluenose trevally and sea robin.
Had such a great time at the restaurant! The food was absolutely divine—every dish had so much flavor, and you can really tell that Chef David puts a lot of heart into what he does. Big compliments to the kitchen! The service was also top notch. LA and Patrick were both amazing—friendly and helpful. Uchi Dallas is one of those places that somehow lives up to the hype—every single time. The food is always incredible, with flavors that are unexpected in the best way. It’s the kind of spot that works just as well for a business dinner as it does for a night out with friends. The food is next level, the drinks are spot-on, and the whole vibe is modern but still welcoming. You can also eat upstairs at their other concept, and honestly, both are amazing. Highly recommend if you’re into food that surprises you—in a really good way. EVERYTHING is REALLY good.

I usually don't write reviews for restaurants, and I never expected to find such a great sushi place in Dallas! This place has very high quality sushi. It was one of the best sushi I've ever tasted including all the sushi place I've ever been to in NYC, Japan, and Korea included. My server, Dani, was super knowledgeable and was genuinely a nice person. The dessert was also very interesting as well. I would definitely visit again if I'm in Dallas!

After having tried both Uchiko and Uchibā (Uchi sister restaurants) in Austin, we had to try Uchi in Dallas. It did not disappoint. We had the “somakase” which is a cool little option they have if you want to try multiple things but are worried that the chef’s tasting may be too little or too much food but also don’t really want to make decisions. Essentially the way it works is that your server will choose dishes for you based on your hunger level, budget, and preferences. You can do as many or as few as you’d like and if there is something you really like you can just ask for more of it. The service at the Uchi restaurants is always top notch and we love how everyone works together as one cohesive unit marking the service appear seamless from the delivery of the dishes to the clearing of plates and ensuring your beverages are always full. The food is timed perfectly so that the wait between courses is neither too long or too short. Empty plates are taken immediately after you have finished so that they are not sitting on the table for long periods of time. Service is smooth, efficient, and friendly and never seems cold or rushed. The food makes this one of our favorite restaurants to dine in as we always thoroughly enjoy our meals here. The food is based in Japanese cuisine with interesting twists and flavor combinations. Overall an excellent experience. One of the best fine dining places in Dallas. Cocktail list is small but very good. Highly recommend the Lychee Martini. They have a separate vegetarian menu. Uchi salad was very flavorful. Also recommend the crispy tofu maki, spicy crunchy and shag. Mango tapioca was great as well.

I love Uchi and go a couple times a year since it’s close to home and always a reliable choice. The construction around it has been going on forever, so the area’s kind of a mess, but the food makes up for it. They keep a pretty high standard and most of what I’ve had is great. We did the omakase once and it was definitely creative, but a little too out there for me. One of the dishes was literally called “pond water,” which was a bit much. I’d rather do omakase at Shoyo or Tatsu. That said, Uchi’s great for fun bites like the Hama Chili, and their cocktails are always really good. Overall, it’s a fun spot for sushi!

Malai Kitchen is a vibrant bistro that brings the flavors of Thailand and Vietnam to life in a stylish setting, complete with an inviting patio. For over ten years, this culinary gem has delighted diners not only with its delectable dishes but also with its unique nano brewery. Here, you can savor specialty beers crafted from kitchen ingredients, such as the refreshing Bia Hoi lager or adventurous brews like Peach Tea Wheat and Thai PA—infused with aromatic herbs and spices.
I recently visited Malai Kitchen in Dallas with a friend, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, especially if you love spicy flavors — just ask for extra spicy if that's your preference! One standout was their refreshing sugarcane juice; I highly recommend trying it, as the flavor is truly delightful. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered and found everything to be flavorful and well-prepared. The atmosphere is nice for hanging out with friends, and they also have a good selection of drinks to complement your meal. The only challenge is parking around the restaurant, so plan accordingly. Overall, a great spot for flavorful food and good company!

Very authentic. The Coconut Soup is the closest dish to Tom Yum Soup. It's quite sour, and goes really well with rice. Then we ordered Pad Thai. Also, the Vietnamese Pho and curry lamb we had were all very delicious. Only the Pad Thai was a bit too salty; everything else was great. The serving was a bit slow, but the restaurant environment was nice.

I had bookmarked Malai Kitchen and was thrilled to finally dine there. The restaurant was bustling that evening, but we were seated right away upon arrival. The service was exceptional from start to finish. They offer a full bar with a solid selection of beer, wine, sake, spirits, and cocktails. I enjoyed their house IPA and highly recommend it. We were served complimentary sticky rice with sauce while we decided on our starter and main course. The shrimp spring rolls made for a tasty appetizer, and the Bangkok Street Fried Rice and Glass Noodles were outstanding entrees. The flavors were vibrant, and the spice levels were perfectly tailored to our request. The restaurant’s ambiance is warm and modern. Parking is available at the mall or on the street. Pricing: Moderately high, but well worth it for the quality.

Delicious Asian fusion dishes! We tried the Malai favorites sampler - which was surprisingly tasty for every item on the dish, especially the chicken satay! Our table tried the chicken pad Thai, pad see ew, pineapple fried rice, and panang curry bowl. Everything was great and the spice level was moderate for our group. Their drink menu was also fun to try including the sugar cane juice and ginger refresher! This location is inside a shopping area and it may be difficult to finding parking. We ended up doing street parking and walking a bit to the restaurant. Thankfully no wait for us and the staff was very kind and patient with our large group, offering fan favorites and recommendations.

Staff members were kind and attentive – shoutout to our waitress Vy who made our first time dining here great. We ordered the Malai Favorites Sampler, Thai Chicken Wings, North Atlantic Artic Char, Drunken Noodles and the Beef Tenderloin Panang Curry Bowl. For dessert, we had Tiramisu (we were told it’s a limited time/specialty dessert item). We came hungry and Malai Kitchen did not disappoint. Beyond the food, the restaurant is cute with a warm, cozy environment – perfect place for date night or family dinner. Definitely one of the best places of its kind in the area – we will be returning!

First time visit this restaurant several weeks ago with coworkers for birthday celebration. The atmosphere, the environment and the servers are great and amazing. However, the foods were not authentic or good. I had their Thursday lunch special and it tasted differently, even though it was a curry noddle soup, I could barely taste any curry or anything that could stand out. I was quite disappointed. I chatted with my other coworkers and they said their dishes of pad Thai, fried rice and others were okay, not that’s great. Since two of my coworkers had their birthday, the server was amazing to bring out the ice cream and I had to say that was the best things we had that day. Foods were not as great, but service and the atmosphere was outstanding.

I recently visited Malai Kitchen restaurant in Dallas and it was absolutely amazing experience! All stuff are very nice and attentive. I would love to say a Special BIG THANK YOU to the server ETHAN! He was the best! He was very friendly, professional, nice and kind. Manager Melony was wonderful and very kind and friendly! Food was amazing, very very very delicious. Atmosphere was fantastic! Restaurant is very beautiful and has a modern style. I can’t wait to go back there! I definitely recommend Malai Kitchen! 10/10!!!

Ordered the drunken noodles which were delicious, the appetizer sampler which I probably wouldn't order a second time, but was nice to try, and lastly the mango coconut sticky rice dessert which was amazing. Service was great, and I would definitely come back. There is free parking close the restaurant

Bar
The Libertine Bar is a laid-back yet sophisticated gastropub located in a vintage building on Lower Greenville. It has been at the forefront of the craft beer trend for over 10 years, offering an extensive selection of beers and spirits. The bar also serves high-quality bar food and cocktails, with generous happy hours including Friday afternoons. In 2017, they added a street-side patio with great views of Greenville Avenue, making it a popular spot for Sunday brunch.
Okay obsessed with this place! Loved the vibes! Came in for some food and was very surprised! All flavorful and reasonably priced! Staff was friendly and their patio seating and the indoor seating made me feel at home! It was a little bit on the quiet side but enjoyed being away from the craziness of lower Greenville! The only thing I wanted after leaving was a shirt or a hat!!!! Thank you so much Gina the bartender, Beto the server, and their barback Rogelio for a great time! Will be coming back! FOOD: Pork Chop $16 so yummy and such a great price The Cuban Sandwich $16 fries to die for Nachos w/ Carnitas $12 throw some jalapeños on that bad boy and you’re good to go!

We love the Libertine! It's a great local bar that has great food and a fun vibe. We even take the kids to dinner here on the outside patio. They have good happy hour specials and do fun trivia games on certain nights too. I tell all of my real estate clients about this spot in our neighborhood!
Kasey P — Google review
Bar is nice and bartenders are attentive. My complaint is that their chalkboard menu has happy hour beers as "$5 dollar drafts" however once I questioned why the bill had $8 drafts, I was told "sorry only select drafts are $5". Seems easy enough to add that clarification so that customers know to ask which beers are $5. I felt like this was unnecessarily deceptive. Im giving one star because the menu is intentionally set up to deceive customers.

Checked out this place on a busy Friday for happy hour. The good thing is that happy hour runs from 4-7 PM, a tad later than most places in the neighborhood. So if you’re looking for a decent drink at a modest price, this could be a choice. A plus is the outside area which is great for hanging and people watching the Greenville area. (We sat inside since it was a tad chilly) For drinks, we tried the frozen margarita and an IPA on draft. They serve about 5-6 more cocktails on the HH menu which seemed like solid choices. Now, the food was a different story. We ordered the queso, pretzel, popcorn chicken and double cheeseburger. The queso had a decent taste except that it was literally runny and couldn’t scoop it with the chips! The pretzel was flat out cold and hard. Popcorn chicken was not bad honestly, minus the hair we found on the last piece. The cheeseburger in our opinion was the only item that we would order again if we came back. The server that helped us was kind and attentive. Our recommendation is to stop by only for the drinks and skip the food!

Came for Wednesday happy hour and trivia. Food is so so affordable, delicious, and trivia was so much fun. Cannot wait to come back!!

So basically the food and drinks were fine, it was the bartender that sincerely disappointed us. I don’t remember his name (I’m 99% sure he didn’t tell us his actual name), but he was extremely inhospitable. He did exactly what you don’t want: made us feel super unwelcome. Again, no direct memory of his name but we were there Tuesday, 9/30 between around 6pm-7:30pm. Anytime we needed his attention, it felt like an inconvenience. As service industry people ourselves, it was very disappointing. Just made us feel annoying. Might I add, we were one of the only people there, it was otherwise dead. Wonder why ?

I've been here a few times now and I gotta be honest...I love their happy hour. It goes until 7pm, has both food and good drinks. Has light music so it's not too loud. Easy parking across the street (behind the gelato spot). Honestly, one of my top happy hour spots in Greenville. 5/5 would recommend and WILL go again. Asian fusion restaurant
Asian restaurant
Loro Dallas is a contemporary smokehouse and bar with a covered terrace that offers a fusion of Asian-inspired meals and cocktails. The collaboration between Uchi and Franklin Barbecue has resulted in a menu that combines Asian influences like Karaage chicken and char siew pork belly with traditional barbecue hits such as succulent brisket and smoked turkey breast. The restaurant's broad wraparound patio provides an ideal setting to enjoy a variety of dishes, including smoked meats, rice bowls, sandwiches, and fresh salads.
Loro is a lively place with both outdoor and indoor seating. Hubby ordered Smoked Beef Brisket, and I ordered Crispy Thai Pork ribs. Our sides were Crunchy Sweet Corn Fritters and Coconut Scented Rice. The portion sizes were decent. I absolutely loved my ribs. They were flavorful and tender. Hubby loved his brisket.

The design seamlessly blends the rustic charm of a Texas smokehouse with the vibrant feel of an Asian restaurant, creating a truly distinctive ambiance that sets the stage for a great dining experience. The wood tables, bench seating, and ample indoor and outdoor spaces contribute to a comfortable and engaging environment. Okay ready, the food – it's truly a revelation! Loro masterfully marries the smoky richness of Texas BBQ with the bold and exciting flavors. Crispy Thai Pork Ribs!! These are highly recommended, with a beautiful, subtle smokiness and a touch of sauce to enhance the flavor. Brisket is wonderful. The flavor is something truly unique and rad!
Jason — Google review
We went to Loro to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The atmosphere at Loro is fun and great for a large group birthday celebration. We were able to get in without a reservation and have a table large enough for all of us. Service for the most part was good; however, there was a small error or two in the drinks. The food was generally of good quality. I tried the pork belly, pork ribs, and broccoli and thought all of it was pretty good but not excellent. Overall, I am glad I have been to Loro and think it is a unique concept but I think there would be other restaurants in a similar category that I pick before Loro.
Alan R — Google review
Everything was so flavorful & delicious. Our server was so generous and knowledgeable of the menu. I don't usually like pork, but our server convinced us to try some pork ribs and they were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere of this place is excellent and I can't wait to come back for a happy hour one day.

Returning to Loro a few years later…hmmm, some interesting menu changes. We were only 3 people but ordered enough for 7! 🤭 For starters, we tried the Smoked Shishito Queso w/ Brisket, it came with tostadas; also got their Chicken Karaage. Have to say the queso did not disappoint, was not spicy, flavors went great with pretty much everything we dipped into it. Chicken Karaage (which we order at every Japanese or fusion resto that has it) was surprisingly crispy, not oily, did not need the sauce it came with since we also dipped it in the queso. 😆 These came in the middle of the meal though. They started bringing the Sesame Rice noodles and Seaweed salad first. Noodles had a nice flavor, can’t say the same for the seaweed…to reminiscent of tropical summers when the tide was low and seaweed by the shore was roasting in the sun. Not the best aroma. The salads arrived, and we shared a Chilled Ginger Noodle Salad, I expected rice noodles so that was a bit disappointing, but still flavorful and topped with curry shrimp. Then the Char Siew Pork Belly in Lettuce wraps came, was ok, tasted better when I added the radish from another dish and topped it with queso (I’m telling you it’s great on anything). We also tried the Oak Smoked Grilled Steak rice bowl, which had the thin sliced radishes that went on the Lettuce wraps. What can I say, we like to complicate our food ☺️ Some of the sides we tried were the Coconut rice and Charred Broccoli. The coconut rice was m’kay, but was already full from all the veg, but the broccoli was nicely done, also great with queso. In a nutshell, the food had definite winners, and some flavors are an acquired taste. The service was also good, we also came at a less busy time, so we got our orders pretty quickly. Thank you also for the Piña Horchata and Mango Rodeo samples. They were gone pretty quickly. ❤️ FYI, they gave us a 20% discount as Healthcare workers. Yes! Better than the $15 Target gift card we got every Christmas LOL

This place was recommended to me and was told to exceed expectations... Let's find out. The design sets a new standard for a dining experience, harmoniously blending the rustic allure of a Texas smokehouse with the dynamic spirit of an Asian restaurant. This unique fusion creates an atmosphere that’s both comforting and exciting. The deliberate use of wood tables, communal bench seating, and abundant indoor and outdoor spaces encourages a relaxed and engaging environment where guests feel right at home. The staff was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu items and the pairings with drinks. Parking wasn't too bad, I was able to find parking the free parking lot which there were quite a few spots available. Drinks... I ordered the slushee flight (Trying Any 3 Boozy Slushes). I chose the Mango Sake Slushee, Spicy Watermelon Margarita, and Killer Colada. Food... For an Appetizer, I chose the Chicken Karaage and for main course I selected the Smoked Beef Brisket paired with the Charred Broccoli. Dinner Summary... The Boozy Slushees were a great refreshing start to the dining experience here at Loro. The Chicken Karaage was a bit crispier than I would have liked, but the dish was seasoned well and the Chili Aioli was the perfect sauce to add to the crispy chicken. The smoked beef brisket was INCREDIBLE. The thickness of the cut was on the thinner side, but easy to cut and I couldnt get enough of the chili gastrique with the brisket it was *chefs kiss* awesome. But I must say the best part of the meal was the charred broccoli. The broccoli was cooked perfectly with crispy char on each piece and the spicy ponzu, chili crunch, and lemon zest make it an absolute stand out. Overall, it was an absolutely delicious and unique dining experience. I will be back soon to try more options on the menu. 10/10 Highly Recommend.

Steak house
Drake's Hollywood is a swanky steakhouse with an Old Hollywood ambiance, offering a sophisticated and intimate dining experience. The restaurant exudes a speakeasy vibe with its red leather booths, oversized plants, and red lighting, creating a sense of privacy for diners. Despite its glamorous atmosphere, Drake's is known for its large pizzas and 24-layer strawberry cake. Whether you're looking for a romantic evening or a lively bar scene, this spot offers the perfect setting.
We recently hosted a private event at Drake’s Hollywood, and it was phenomenal from start to finish. The staff was incredibly fast, professional, and made the entire experience seamless. Whether you’re planning an event or just enjoying a night out, this place knows how to deliver. Let’s talk food—come ready to share! The portion sizes are massive—definitely made for two (or more). We highly recommend ordering several dishes and passing them around the table. Some standout highlights: • Cauliflower Dynamite – Lightly fried and tossed in the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Absolutely addictive. • Vin Scully Fries – Loaded with smoked cheddar, jalapeños, bacon, chives, and ranch. Easily serves 3–4 people. • The Crab Rangoon – Creamy, crispy bites with cream cheese, scallions, and sweet chili sauce. We got 8–9 pieces—great for sharing. • Classic Caesar Salad – A unique twist on the original, fresh and flavorful. • Calamari – Light, crispy, and packed with flavor—one of the best we’ve had. • Pizzas – Generous portions, similar to a traditional large pizza. Great to split among the group. • Crab Cake – Huge and packed with crab—not filler. Worth every bite. • Desserts – Super tasty and indulgent. Each one can easily satisfy 3–4 people. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations—huge portions, incredible flavor, and top-notch service. We’ll absolutely be back. If you’re in the area or looking for a spot for a private event, Drake’s Hollywood is a must. Great taste, great service, and a great time.

Early dinner on a Monday night and it was great timing, not crowded and got to really see the place. Was there for the food and it didn't disappoint. We had sushi, shrimp, bread with zero complaints, very good quality seafood. For the main meal we all had something different. I personally had the ginger marinade ribeye cooked medium and it was delicious. After sampling a filet and pasta I would recommend any of them. Atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed.

If you’re looking for upscale vibes, classic elegance, and comfort food with a luxury twist, Drake’s Holiday in Dallas is a must-visit. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance gave old Hollywood glam mixed with modern charm. Dim lighting, plush booths, and a cozy-yet-refined setting made it perfect for a date night or a classy dinner with friends. The cocktails were just as impressive. The yellow-orange citrus cocktail (possibly a sidecar or daiquiri variant) was bright and refreshing, while the martini had that perfect smooth chill — definitely crafted with intention. Highly recommended

Definitely a place for a special occasion, ambience and vibe of the place is pretty good. Service was great, server explained how things worked very well. Food was pretty good, Ozzy pizza was amazing, the sushi with the tuna on top was pretty good, a little spicy but good. Dessert was the only thing I thought could have been better. I feel if someone likes dessert there here for the sweetness of it, I got the 24 layer strawberry cake, it wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be. Drinks were good. Overall definitely a place to try!

Our reservation was for 7:45, but we weren’t seated until 8:30, despite booking two weeks in advance. Having to wait was not the best start to our experience at Drakes. On the positive side, our waiter was friendly and attentive, checking in regularly to make sure everything was okay. The atmosphere is romantic with a fun, lively vibe, and the restaurant itself was clean, from the seating to the utensils. For food, I tried the glazed honey chicken, but it was dry and lacked flavor for a $45 plate—definitely not what I expected. The highlight of the night was the sausage pizza; it was delicious and worth coming back for. The Mexican margarita cocktail was very good as well. Overall, while the wait and my entrée were disappointing, the pizza, cocktail, and attentive service made for some redeeming moments. I would return specifically for the pizza.

First time at Drake’s Hollywood for my birthday and it was unforgettable! 🎉 Our server Joey was fantastic, the martinis 🍸 were spot on, and the classic filet cooked medium rare was melt-in-your-mouth delicious 🥩. The lobster mac & cheese, creamed spinach, and lobster escargot were all incredible. Add in live music 🎶 and a great vibe—this is definitely my new go-to for special nights out! 🙌

Went celebrating with my husband on what was supposed to a very special and romantic date. The food was good and had amazing service by Josh our server. However, we felt rushed by the floor manager constantly walking around and trying to see if she can get us out right away to turn the table and this wasn't just for our table she was doing this to all tables. Just because of this I won't return to Drakes. I've never felt rushed in any restaurant and it wasn't a good feeling at all! Specially if we.are spending good money there, this place is not inexpensive. I expect to be treated in the same high standards they showcase. One last thing, the strawberry cake 🍰 doesn't really taste like strawberry and is not sweet at all, then they pour a red colored water that should be more of a culis instead of just kool-aid which makes your cake soggy. Very nice looking cake but left a lot to be desired.

Chelsea Corner is a lively gastropub that offers an elevated dining experience, featuring a diverse menu and creative cocktails. Established in 1974 and recently renovated, it has become a beloved neighborhood spot with two spacious patios. The brunch menu is particularly popular, showcasing inventive dishes like Crab Cake & Lobster Benedict and Bourbon Pecan French Toast.
This was my second time at Chelsea’s! First time I visited we were indoors, this time around we sat in he patio and it’s so cute back there. Lots of shade and very nice seating. Their food is pretty good. I like the range they offer. The first time I tried the slider trip and that was pretty good. This time I got the cobbler and that was a very nice portion salad. I got it as is with the lemon pepper chicken and it was very filling. We got the buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer and it was very tasty as well. I’ll def recommend and be back. My only constructive feedback regarding the service, our waitress took a while to check on us after being seated, but once we ordered and checked in she made her best effort to check on us more regularly.

10/10 on everything. We ate outside in 90+ degree weather, with a nice breeze, and the experience was pleasant. The benets and bacon wrapped jalapeños started us off and we finished with five meals and drinks in between. All of which I tasted and nobody had any complaints. Drinks can be a bit pricey but we enjoyed them. Amazing staff. This a brunch spot I recommend and will return. What a gem!!!

We went to Chelsea Corner on a weekend with since they had a dog-friendly patio and it was near the Katy Trail. It was very cool and the most amazing vibe! The patio is all covered in case it rains or is too hot. Party lights were strung up and tvs were all around to see the games. The drinks were good and food was great! The service was a little slow since there were a TON of people on the patio. It certainly wasn’t worth complaining about, though. We’ll be back soon!

Pet-friendly place which has a decent Sunday brunch vibe. I had a smash burger and it was standard fare, nothing blowing me away. My wife had a traditional egg Benedict that she said was cooked well (nice runny yolk) but only tasted alright. The non-alcoholic michelada I had was delicious though (made with heneiken 0.0).

Have to give a huge shoutout to Miquela, she went above and beyond with helping with getting every one’s drink orders and then helping us clean up after, so sweet! Planning the event with Brynna the event director at Chelsea corner was easy and seamless. Will definitely be back to do another event in the future.

Overall we really enjoyed our experience at Chelsea Corner! We started with a lil brunch pitched drink, some sort of sangria, which was really good! I got the chicken Caesar wrap with fries for the meal which I would definitely recommend! My friends got a variety of other dishes and everyone seemed to really like their food! We did have a bit of a strange experience with our waiter doing some strange accents that led into strange comments and quips and it was just kind of awkward.

This place is perfect for any type of gathering. It offers several dining areas, including a bar and an open patio with plenty of seating. We visited for a Saturday brunch, and we're seated immediately, despite the restaurant being fairly busy. The menu offers a wide variety of food and drinks to satisfy any taste. The only downside for me was the slow service that day. Although water was served promptly, no one offered us a menu - either a printed version or a QR code. After waiting for a while, we ended up searching for a menu online through Google. Additionally, the servers didn't seem to follow the "first come, first served" rule when taking orders. Despite the service issues, it was an overall enjoyable experience.

Uchibā Dallas, located at 2817 Maple Ave Floor 2, is a cocktail lounge with Japanese-style bites and sushi offerings. It's an offshoot of the well-regarded Uchi restaurant group from Austin. The happy hour from 5 - 6:30 pm offers great deals on beer, sake, cocktails, and choice nigiri starting at just $2. The menu includes bao buns, dumplings, and other small bites perfect for sharing.
Very good but quite pricey. Did the somakase where we selected a budget and let the chefs choose our food. I’d say most of the items were good but some were not. They didn’t charge us for the ones we werent crazy about but overall for $350 I think the sushi was just good not mind blowing. Next time we will opt for happy hour which I’ve heard is a better deal. Did appreciate the complimentary valet, and service was excellent!!

My friends and I came late night to have some desserts. We ordered the mango tapioca as well as the fried milk dessert. Both desserts were underwhelming in their own ways. The fried milk balls were pretty eggy in taste and soggy, we didn’t enjoy it. We thought it would be like a fried ice cream but with custard filling but the dessert was really a chocolate cake with a few small balls. The mango tapioca was very unique. I don’t think it was bad but it’s definitely different. The mango was delicious but the foamy coconut with the powder did throw us off a bit. I still liked it better than the fried milk dessert. Our waiter was super friendly and the place has a nice interior.

I try to tell anyone and everyone about Uchi restaurants. I've had a lot of sushi in my life but have never enjoyed sushi more than at an Uchi restaurant. We've been to Uchiko and Uchi in Austin and we've been to Uchiba in Dallas. We are blown away every single time we eat there. The freshest fish we've ever had and combined with amazing ingredients. The entire dinner is like theatre. It is not an inexpensive experience but it is worthy every penny. The service is top notch and they all want to make sure your experience is 5 stars. One of our favorite restaurants in Dallas. Every bite is incredible. The service is always top notch it's obvious a lot of time and care goes into training. The sushi is perfect with fun and unique twists. The salmon, sardine, and tuna loin were standouts tonight. The hama chili crudo and zero sen hamachi roll are both fantastic. They have really great hot items, too, like the portobello dumplings and the buns. On this visit, we had a katsu chicken bun with curry cole-slaw that was incredible. Simple things like their brussel sprouts are so good. Leave room for dessert. The fried milk and tapioca are not to be missed. They have a great happy-hour menu, too. We didn't get pics of everything we had, but you can see that everything is beautifully presented and made with such care. We truly love Uchiba!

Quarter Bar is a part of Bread Winners Cafe and offers a vintage atmosphere with an outdoor patio. The bar serves a variety of bar food and drinks, including enticing specials on weekdays. The French Quarter-inspired cocktails and dining options are provided by the adjacent Bread Winners Cafe. The scene at Quarter Bar tends to be younger, especially on weekend nights when it's bustling with twenty-somethings enjoying the rooftop patio and vintage interior decor.

DO NOT COME TO QUARTER BAR. THE PARKING LOT IS EXTREMELY PREDATORY. There’s nowhere else to park. I parked, walked to say hi to my friend, walked back to pay for my parking literally THREE minutes later, and they already booted my car and demanded I pay $128. I told them I walked back to pay for my parking spot and they refused to be reasonable. I will NEVER come to Quarter Bar ever again because of this predatory parking. They are literally vultures just waiting to squeeze a bunch of money out of you.

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming Oak Cliff neighborhood, Restaurant Beatrice is a delightful new addition to the culinary scene, brought to life by Zen Sushi chef Michelle Carpenter in honor of her grandmother. This eatery celebrates contemporary Cajun cuisine that pays tribute to Louisiana's rich cultural heritage. Under the guidance of executive chef Terance Jenkins, a New Orleans native, diners can indulge in an array of mouthwatering dishes like duck & Andouille gumbo and fried chicken paired with pepper jelly.
Dig the concept/idea. Hard to find good Cajun and creole food in Texas. Their gumbo being more city focused is cool as you don’t see gumbo like that often. Would like to see it expanded on. Slightly pricey tho, fried chicken should come with a side for sure. Will be back!

This is a lovely little spot. I love the story behind the food and the sustainability aspect. While I can’t find the exact name of the menu item now because it is a seasonal menu and I dined here in December 2024, I had what a recall to be a poached pear salad that was out of this world. So so good. I also really enjoyed the bread basket. I would like to return to try more menu items.

I took my wife here as a surprise after a work trip to get her away from the kids for a night. The restaurant is on the smaller side which felt cozy and the decor was tasteful. The menu was concise but touched on something for everyone. We started with a sazerac and Hurricane which were both outstanding. We did the Beatrice buttermilk salad and were very pleased. Salad was dressed perfectly in a creole ranch dressing and all the topping played well together. the fried okra was a welcome innovation that really gave this salad character visually. We also did the charbroiled oysters and highly recommend as a starter. For mains my wife did the Catfish Atchafalaya. The fried fish and crawfish étouffée balanced each other well. I did the fresh catch which supports a fishing family in Galveston (who have been able to purchase a 2nd boat due to this partnership) It was blackened and served over a bed of mashed potatoes and veggies. This dish has soooooo much flavor. It got a little salty in some thicker areas but overall would absolutely order this again. We finished with the praline bread pudding with praline ice cream. YOU MUST leave room for this specifically. It’s made to order but as the menu states - very much worth the wait. This is a restaurant that gets programming right in all areas. The restrooms were the one low point needing some attention. The service was great with the GM personally checking in at the end of the meal and sharing a bit about the restaurant. The culinary philosophy is well intentioned and hits the mark in taste, temp, and presentation. We will be back!!

Will not return. I really wanted to like this place. I took my daughter for a quick birthday dinner and the food was unseasoned and cold. Ordered the fried chicken, which was hot but near flavorless. Several pieces were completely bloody, which we pointed out to the (very nice) server, with no response. Also ordered the mushroom gumbo- which had no flavor- the very dry and cold red beans and average creamed greens. I had planned to order dessert, but decided to give up after two disappointing courses. We were the only two patrons, which I understand after tonight’s meal. Nice atmosphere and service. Extremely disappointing food. I could not connect any items to Cajun cuisine. $140 for the meal and one cocktail. Not concerned about the price but expected more flavor and execution based on the reviews.

Third times the charm? We are back and had the pleasure of spending New Year’s Eve dinner at restaurant Beatrice in Dallas Texas. Met with Southern cuisine and fine dining paired with a lieu of cocktails that will have you rethinking that New Year’s resolution. However, at some points the service felt a little rushed, and the kitchen seemed to be channeling some extra New Year's energy, resulting in a slight appetizer adventure. We're definitely coming back for round two – we're calling it our "Beatrice: The Remix" tour. Sidenote: “Do you want your cornbread?? Why yes for $140, what’s an extra 4 or 5? We would have love some especially with how great their gumbo is! Troux!!!! Until next time Beatrice. 🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️

Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess wasn't that friendly. The drinks, oysters, and egrolls were amazing. The catfish and dirty rice: rice was dry and catfish had zero seasoning. Totally disappointed. Shrimp and grits: I was expecting more on flavor. The red beans and cornbread dish: like the concept but...no. The servers were nice. Those oysters were the best I've had hands down. I'd only return for that and the drinks.

Definitely a must try! Food was excellent, very FRESH everything made in house. NOTE: condiments like hot sauce or honey for biscuits is an upcharge. We were not notified of that and did not know until we got the bill.
The W — Google review
Cute concept. But the food is absolutely 💯 horrible. How do you mess up fried catfish or chicken? No one in my party of 4 could eat any of the food that was ordered. You couldn't even fix it if you took it home and doctored it . The only edible item was the lemonade, which was just ok. I don't know how these people are still in business. Horrible service, but it seems as if they already knew the food was horrible and was like, why try to help or serve you. Try at your own risk. You have been warned.

American restaurant
Nestled in a charming setting, The Rustic is a delightful venue that embodies the spirit of community and music. With its focus on locally sourced American cuisine and an impressive selection of Texas brews, this restaurant offers more than just great food; it’s a hub for live entertainment. The outdoor patio creates an inviting atmosphere where guests can savor their meals while enjoying performances under the stars.
Me and my husband went last night, it was our first time here. Our waiter was Mac he was so nice and always checking in making sure we were good and if we needed anything. We had the onion rings as an appetizer and hands down the best onion rings I have ever had. I had a dish that mac recommended off the menu the Cedar plank salmon which was DELICIOUS! The dish was perfect and so full of flavor. I also had a drink that the bartender recommended which was the pineapple smoke and it was also delicious! I didnt get the bartenders name but I'd like to thank both the waiter and the bartender for giving us an amazing experience. We will be returning again.

My friend and I popped into The Rustic in Dallas this past Saturday, and while the place was absolutely packed—a good sign, really—we were pleasantly surprised to snag a table for two right away, even without a reservation! The atmosphere was buzzing, set by some really fantastic live music that made the whole experience feel energetic and fun. We both went for the brunch special, which at $21 per person was incredibly affordable. It was a great deal, offering more than enough food to fill us up. We also ordered two mimosas, which were decent but nothing spectacular. The food itself was good, not necessarily "blow-you-away amazing," but certainly satisfying. My personal favorite part of the plate was the little slices of French toast—they were delicious! Overall, the ambience is what really makes The Rustic shine. It's a lively spot with good vibes, affordable prices, and great music. I'd definitely come back to try something different from their regular menu next time!

What a night!!! We chose The Rustic in Dallas to host a gathering of French guests, and it was an absolute success! Everyone had a fantastic time, charmed by the friendly atmosphere, live music, and the warm, welcoming setting. The efficiency of the staff also played a big part in making the evening run smoothly. A special mention to our waiter Blake, who did an excellent job despite a few unexpected circumstances. Always smiling, responsive and professional. Thank you Blake, and thank you to the whole team at The Rustic! We'll definitely come back!

The Rustic offers an awesome ambience with live music that creates a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. The food quality and taste are truly amazing. I tried the cactus fries, wild grilled portobello, jalapeño cornbread, and the iced box s’mores dessert — all of which were absolutely delicious. Overall, it's an outstanding restaurant that I would highly recommend.

We were looking for a pet friendly spot to have dinner and we found a great one. Really nice restaurant with a great vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating options but in the outdoor area you can listen to live music as the stage is set outdoors. menu was good, would like a little more variety as it leans heavier to spicy food but we were able to find stuff we liked. If we are in Dallas we will definitely visit again! Service, atmosphere, food and drinks were great.

Very nice open atmosphere !!! 1st time here celebrating my birthday today. The waiter Adrian was great, professional & attentive. Let me tell you I've never laid my eyes on ONION RINGS like these & they are COLOSSAL fried 2 perfection ‼️served w/a spicy dipping sauce. I had The Rustic Burger well done & it was one of those burgers thatvyou have 2 finish because it's that good !! 💯 The house margarita 10/10 Great experience here !!! Thank you for making my day worthwhile Best regards I will return soon 🤩🤩🤩

Came in for Sunday lunch and was promptly sat and then greeted by our server. The menu was delicious and I decided on the salmon burger. The drink menu was extensive and I chose a thc infused canned drink, not worth $13 by any means but I should have just tried a cocktail 😔 will do so next time because I would love to come back!
Abby K — Google review
The Rustic truly has one of the best happy hours in town! The atmosphere is exactly what you want after a long day — laid-back but buzzing, with plenty of space to kick back on the patio while enjoying live music. The food did not disappoint either. The meatballs were hearty and full of flavor, and the smoky queso had just the right balance of creamy and bold — perfect for sharing. But the real surprise star of the night? The kids’ chicken quesadilla! Cheesy, golden, and so delicious that the adults at the table couldn’t help but steal a few bites. Pair it all with their craft cocktails (which are just as good as they look) and the unbeatable vibe of live tunes under the Texas sky, and you’ve got yourself the recipe for a perfect night out.

Southern Italian restaurant
Kenny's Italian Kitchen is a classic Italian restaurant located near Highway 75 in Addison, Texas. The eatery offers a cozy and traditional atmosphere with its checkered tablecloths and dark wood furniture. The menu features authentic Southern Italian-American cuisine, including seafood, veal, pasta dishes like spaghetti and meatballs, as well as linguine. Additionally, the restaurant provides a family-friendly environment with a special menu for kids.
Y’all. We just found the most amazing Italian restaurant in Dallas—and nearly everything can be made gluten-free! 😭🍝 We were out on a date night and happened to drive past @kennysitaliankitchen—I had it on my list because I’d heard they had gluten-free options. So glad we stopped! Our waitress told us that almost the entire menu can be made gluten-free—and it’s celiac-safe, prepped in a separate part of the kitchen. That alone made my night! Even better? They had vegetarian options too. I ordered the eggplant parmesan, and let me tell you… it was next-level good. Perfectly crunchy (not soggy like it usually is), with a rich, flavorful sauce. You can literally see the crispy texture in the dish—absolutely beautiful and delicious. And yes—they have gluten-free bread! Soft, warm, fluffy little pillows of joy. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat at Italian restaurants watching everyone else eat bread while I sip water. Not this time. 🥹 The vibe? Classic and cozy—checkered tablecloths, soft candlelight, family photos on the walls, and Italian music floating through the air. Total old-school charm. They can also make regular (non-GF) versions of dishes, so everyone in your group will be happy. Honestly, everything was incredible. This place is an absolute gem, and I already know I’ll be back very soon!

Kenny’s Italian Kitchen will delight you. Each time that I have visited it has been absolutely devine. The servers are friendly and welcoming. The food will leave a lasting impression . I am in love with their Shrimp Scampi. First of all, you better bring your appetite, because the portions are hearty. I love that Kenny’s doesn’t skimp on the food. 😉 The scampi was packed full of flavor . The pasta was cooked perfectly . The Chicken Parm knocked my socks off. I will be having that on my next visit. If you are looking for delicious Italian food with a lot of value, please check out Kenny’s Italian Kitchen. 💜

Had reservations, for a party of four. Got there a little early, and the hostess asked if we would like drinks from the bar while we were waiting for our table which was super nice. Drinks were delicious. When we were seated service was fantastic. They also let you split entrees or do half and half entrees which was great especially for me because I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted. This was my first visit but it definitely won't be my last. I mean just look at the pictures of the food. It tasted better than it looked even.

Kenny’s seems like an old Italian institution for Dallas. The entire vibe of the restaurant showcase lot of old classic recipes. The server was quick and responsive she walked us through various options. Every dish we ordered was amazing and had lot of flavor it definitely does leave you heavy with cream or cheese it’s light and perfect. I really enjoyed all the dishes I had the chicken special was spot on, the calamari was amazing. Each sauce had different flavor profile shows they have amazing flavors and recipes. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to try authentic Italian cuisine to give Kenny’s a go.

Food was pretty good, service was great. We were here for the 1st time to celebrate our anniversary & the waiter suggested the half & half plates option and we loved the choice. Ordered (Fettucine Alfredo + Gnocchi Asiago substituted with Whole Wheat Penne) & (April Special Shrimp Florentine + Chicken Scaloppini) Alfredo was great, Asiago was amazing with the basil pesto sauce, Florentine was okay… had better tasting Florentine elsewhere, sauce could have been a little yummier & Scaloppini was also pretty good. Only Major complaint was we were seated at one of the corner tables & my wife was getting bitten by mosquitoes, hope this can be handled for a pleasant experience for future customers.

It has been a very long time since I’ve reviewed this restaurant. It definitely deserves another mention. We’ve been eating at Kenny’s for many years now and it never disappoints. SO Good! Tonight our waiter was Cedric who did a superb job. We both ordered Sicilian shrimp fettuccine. One plate also has gnocchi, the other has chicken piccata. Delicious! Thank you!

Nestled in the heart of Dallas, S&D Oyster Company has been a beloved destination for seafood lovers since its establishment in 1976. This charming eatery brings the flavors of New Orleans to Texas with its mouthwatering offerings of fried shrimp, fresh oysters, and delectable po'boys—locally known as "loafs."
S&D Oyster never disappoints. Their food is delicious, the staff super friendly and location is prime. I always gravitate to the same dish while I'm here... because it never lets me down. If you want something fresh and full of flavor, I highly recommend the New Orleans BBQ shrimp.

I had such a pleasant experience here as a solo date. This place was recommended to me by a financial representative of mine & this place did not disappoint. They happened to forget spinach, but the lively atmosphere made up for that & the most attentive & kind staff made sure I was well taken care of. I will be returning, I also had a chance to meet Mr. David, who showed me the correct parking lot which will be helpful, due to the gps bringing to me to the incorrect location. I love the shrimp & oysters & stay here for roughly an hour. The music, dim lighting, & overall layout really did it for me!

I am so sick. I don't think they've changed the oil in the deep fryer in a long time. It both smelled and tasted horrid. I never should have ate it. I'm really disappointed. This is not like them at all. Something has happened. When it costs $40+ per person for a lunch, you know they can afford to change the nasty oil occasionally. I hope this just a one time incident. If your food smells and tastes like a grease trap, don't eat it! This is not a good experience.
Billy K — Google review
Went two days in a row bc I loved it so much! Sat at the bar mid afternoon to get some laptop work done while I had a dozen with some happy hour Prosecco. Jose the bartender is a whole vibe. Lovely exposure to the patio without being fully outdoors. A side of fries + a dozen gulf oysters + 3 glasses of Prosecco (don’t judge me it’s Friday) + 20% tip ran me just over $60.
Baby S — Google review
Food was mediocre at best, product was good quality but the cooking/preparation brought the taste down considerably. Weird breading flavor on shrimp, the fries had been cooked in old grease, hush puppies had no seasoning or flavor, oysters were not memorable. Even though our waiter was standing next to us he did not check on us until we were done eating. Get that the building is supposed to be historic but the tables and chairs were falling apart, back of mine was actually loose. Not worth the price of the meal

Frankie's Downtown is a popular bi-level sports bar and restaurant located in the heart of the historic district. It offers a traditional American breakfast and brunch, making it a convenient spot for locals and visitors alike. The establishment boasts an extensive menu featuring upmarket pub grub such as flatbreads, salads, wings, sandwiches, burgers, and shareable plates like jalapeno poppers and kettle chips.
The atmosphere is laid back, casual. Food is exceptional with a full bar and great food options even veggie pizza! The staff were cordial and timely. I had a young gentleman box up my pizza! Service oriented people! Highly recommend this place. Thank you staff!

The food for the most part is decent, but I wasn’t really thrilled about the pizza. I felt like it was “okay” and not all that satisfying. I thought it was more cheesy than anything,I barely tasted the ingredients outside of the red peppers I sprinkled on top. I love the ambiance of this restaurant though,it is fairly large for a bar. I might go back to try out other things but not in the rush. Good customer service, the waiter was very attentive.

We did happy hour on the patio. Service wasn’t great. Waited about 30 minutes, twice between check ups. Had to wave over other waiters and put orders in. Drinks were good and food was good. Fairly priced too.

The go to sports bar in Dallas. The food is amazing with multiple options to choose from. This bar has multiple televisions for sports. The staff are friendly and upbeat. I love most is the fact that this is a veteran owned business. I highly recommend Frankie’s Downtown when in Dallas.

The cheesesteak and club sandwich were both good, sweet potato fries had a little kick to them. Service was mediocre. Our appetizer came out after we had already received our sandwiches. Something that stood out was my wife asked to make a couple changes to the sandwich, in which the server responded “we discourage that, I don’t know how the chef will feel about that.” After explaining that she just wanted to remove two items, the server said she will be able to do that. I get some places are strict when it comes to modifying meals, never experienced this with bar food.
K P — Google review
I love this spot—Frankie’s feels like your favorite neighborhood hangout elevated: dim lighting, sleek rustic touches, and a two-level layout that’s perfect for catching a game or slipping into the speakeasy-style Underground . Their everything-made-from-scratch menu, from flatbreads to that legendary Frankie’s Burger, is seriously tasty and full of character . Whether you’re there for happy hour drinks (hello $4 margs) or cheering on the Mavs with one of the 44 HD TVs, the energy is always on point . What stands out most is how friendly and attentive the staff are—felt like meeting friends rather than servers . Downtown’s best sports bar by far—great eats, killer cocktails, and that perfect blend of laid-back comfort and lively energy.
Brooks — Google review
This is the place to be if you want to watch afternoon football! There’s plenty of seating at the bar and pub tables, and the atmosphere is lively. They have multiple TVs showing different games, so you won’t miss any of the action. It was quite busy, so the staff were a bit slow at times, but they handled the crowd well. The food was great, the beer was reasonably priced, and overall it was a really good experience.

Happiest Hour is a trendy bar and restaurant located in the bustling Harwood District, just a short walk from the American Airlines Center. It boasts Dallas' largest rooftop terrace with stunning skyline views. The venue offers a wide range of food and drinks, including nacho towers, artisan sandwiches, flatbreads, steaks, crab mac & cheese, family-style cocktails, wines on tap, and over fifty beer selections.
We tried this place recently for a happy hour and had a good experience. The place is massive with seating inside, outside on the patio, and on the rooftop. It was 90+ degrees, so we sat in the bar area at a table. They have great happy hour specials with half-off appetizers and cocktails. We tried the dip trio as an appetizer. Great portions of dip for the price. My wife tried the Berries from the West and I tried the Game Time old fashioned. Both had great flavor. Our service was great. We will definitely be back.

I was visiting from out of town and stopped by the Happiest Hour for drinks and lunch. The staff was fine, but they seemed more engaged in their own conversation when I arrived, which may have distracted them from attending to me right away. I ordered my food at the bar and chose to sit outside on the rooftop patio, where I was welcome to seat myself. I ordered brisket nachos, which were brought to me, but I didn't receive any utensils or napkins. The view was pleasant, but overall, the food and service were mediocre.

I almost don't want to put this review because I don't want to disturb the ecosystem they have going on but here it is. This Spot is a rare find. Amazing vibe and interior setup with fabulous rooftop patio surrounded by the gorgeous downtown lights and skyscrapers. The staff is engaging and friendly and there were lots of beautiful patrons. Bottle service upstairs. Come and enjoy yourself but don't disturb the ratio. That's part of what makes this place so special.

We truly cannot thank the Happiest Hour team enough for hosting our welcome party! It was an INCREDIBLE evening and us and all of our guests had the best time. They have an amazing coordinator named Lauren, who is fantastic to work with - she made the welcome party the easiest part of our entire wedding weekend to plan! The process was smooth, efficient, professional, and incredibly uncomplicated, which is rare when planning an event for 200. The services and elements included (between spaces, staffing, AV, menu, set up/tear down, additional tables, etc) were exactly what we needed, making us able to easily customize everything exactly how we wanted. Lauren was highly responsive and helpful with her recommendations as well regarding food quantities, space reservations, and layout! The night of, the staff was beyond kind, helpful and accommodating the entire time! Arnold and Megan led the evening and they were so proactive making sure us and our guests were taken care of the entire time. The team helped us make last minute set up adjustments, pass out welcome bags, and helped clean up, really allowing us to be guests at our own event. Could not have asked for a better team across the board!! Lastly, many of our guests went out of their way to give us amazing feedback on the quality of the food!! Between he buffet and the passed apps, everything was delicious. Overall we had such a positive experience, and definitely recommend hosting events with the Harwood team!

Whether it's for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, this spot has you covered with delectable options such as steak tartare, moule frites, lobster rolls, and coq au vin. The bistro also boasts an impressive wine selection by the glass or bottle and a concise list of beer and cocktails.
First time I had dinner here. Usually lunch for the Brie sandwich. We enjoyed cocktails and a very good bottle of Grenache. Fried artichoke, Japanese peppers and steak au poivre. Only complaint is that I’d prefer more sauce with my streak. Beautiful location as well.

Came here for brunch with some friends! The pastry basket was amazing! The charcuterie board was whatever. My French onion soup was very good. The quiche Lorraine while huge was kind of mediocre. My avocado toast was probably the best version I’ve had to date the egg was perfect.

From the moment we came upon the breezeway…my wife, daughter, and I were given the VIP treatment even though we didn’t have so much as a reservation. Donna greeted us and not only found us a table during the Sunday brunch rush but even went as far as to ensure our three year old’s food was being prepared by the chef himself (since there aren’t specific kid options they went off menu for her!) Our server Don was impeccably hospitable and professional giving special attention to our daughter and even being graceful as he cleaned up the cranberry juice she dropped! Mercat Bistro is an absolutely adorable French spot that feels like a sweet escape to Paris. I stopped in for a lunch and was delighted by how quaint the ambiance was — perfect for a slow afternoon or dinner. I tried the tomato soup, and oh my — it was excellent! Rich, comforting, and clearly made fresh with quality ingredients. For dessert, I indulged in their crème brûlée, which was beautifully torched and silky smooth. Paired with a well-crafted flat white, it was the ideal finish to a delicious little escape.

First time at this bistro, which is a fairly authentic reproduction of a high end French Bistro. (We live in France) We arrived at 5pm on a Wednesday and were able to park on the road outside the restaurant, however there is a valet service available. There were plenty of available tables at that time. Our waiter, Timothy, was excellent. Very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. All the food was good quality, well prepared and presented and had great flavour. The moules frites warrant particular mention…succulent soft perfectly cooked mussels served with garlic toast to mop up the tasty ‘soup’ The restaurant has an impressive wine list. Overall, one of the best meals we’ve had on our visit to Dallas.

Irish pub
The Old Monk is a cozy pub in Dallas known for its extensive beer list, American fare, and lively patio. Despite being more of a traditional pub than a cocktail bar, it stands out for serving top-notch Old Fashioneds and boasting the most comprehensive whiskey selection in town. The friendly atmosphere on the patio offers a perfect setting to enjoy the featured cocktail of the month alongside addictive frites with bourbon mayo.
Sit wherever you want. It’s nice out on the patio when the weather is good. The fish was crispy and tasty with the side tartar sauce, not fishy tasting. The fries were seasoned great and I think you could ask for the skinny fries if you prefer those. Free drink samples on beer if you are unsure which you would prefer!

This is a lovely brunch spot in a trendy neighborhood. Their mimosas are good and the fish and chips were delicious. They provided malt vinegar on the table. This is a great place to relax on a Sunday and people-watch; plus our server was very pleasant and attentive.

We used to come here all the time before we moved from the area. We came back today it was great as usual. I typically get the chicken strips because they might be my favorite in Dallas. Today I went with the chicken, biscuits, and gravy on the brunch menu. While I thought it was good, I regretted not getting the chicken strips. They are too good! The rest of the group got a salad and eggs Benedict and said it was great (pictured). A dog friendly patio is a plus and the staff immediately brought us a dog bowl. Highly recommend if you want a casual bite with good drinks!

Place looks cool, couldn't find parking didn't want to pay for valet, I'll keep trying. Crazy long line for the pizza place across the street definitely wanna try that place out also.

I love coming here every weekend. Not only is the French Onion soup fantastic, but so is our server, Bella! She always gives me the best drink recs based on what I described my pallet to have an affinity to. Always makes my day!

We were so excited to visit the Old Monk. The food didn’t disappoint. Huge portions and full of flavor. Our server was good, but she had a lot of tables, so she was super busy. The only downside was the music. The music was so incredibly loud you had to yell to hear each other, and this was on the patio. It was punk rock music, which is great for jamming, but blaring full blast in a crowded restaurant. Overall disappointed in our visit.

Atmosphere: clean, laid back and casual. Fish and chips: Amazing! Service: excellent I love a good plate of fish and chips so I decided to try this place. They have an expansive outdoor seating area that is warm and inviting with wooden tables and plants. Most of the area is covered and they can enclose it by lowering the side curtains if the weather is bad. The fish and chips were excellent. Perfectly battered, crisp and juicy. The home made tartar sauce had capers in it and it was good as well. The service was excellent. I got my food approx. 10 min after ordering. The wait staff was attentive. There is also an attached parking lot with dedicated parking which is a big plus. Overall great experience. I will return.

I really enjoy this place. Very laid back pub environment. Lots of beer selection, the service has been good both times I've been. It's hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had. The sliders we had were really flavorful and the pretzel was beyond yummy!! Easy parking as well!!

El Bolero Cocina Mexicana is a vibrant and colorful eatery located in the heart of Oak Lawn, offering regional Mexican cuisine and an extensive selection of margaritas. The restaurant features a spacious patio and authentic Mexican-inspired design, providing the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy their signature margaritas. El Bolero's menu includes tantalizing options such as the Cotton Candy Margarita and the Oilman Margarita, both crafted with unique flavors and garnishes.
Food was excellent. We had empanadas, gazpacho, chicken enchiladas and shrimp tacos. Our server was new but evidently well trained. Our glasses and our chips were never empty. The chef absolutely takes the time to marry wonderful flavors and it shows in the quality of the food. And that cilantro rice rocks!

The food was amazing. We came here with our picky toddler and the manager was so accommodating. He put together a special meal for our toddler that only loves meat, beans and rice. That was not the best part. We started with empanadas— amazing. I ordered the Cochinita Pibil and about died when I took the first bite. The pork was so tender and the habanero sauce was on point. My husband ordered the Barbacoa tacos — so flavorful. Even our most picky teens enjoyed the crispy tacos and the burrito grande. Not only did the food taste delicious but it looked amazing. We finished our meal with the churros and the tres leches cake. All so good! We will definitely be coming back again!

Great atmosphere. Cocktails are outstanding Food was hit or miss. Queso fondito and nachos platter was delicious. However the veggie enchiladas were not cooked properly and had chewy parts.

Literally my favorite restaurant! Jaimé was our amazing waiter! I had the lobster tacos with a ranch water! Right now, I am finishing off with a “Sun in my Eyes” cocktail that is the perfect amount of spice 🌶️! Great for a Friday night!

Have the corporate card or an out of town guest to wow? Take them here! Higher than average prices for food you can get nearby at half the cost. That said the atmosphere is pretty organized and great. The drinks are too sweet for my liking. Was disappointed on the “best margarita in dallas” (oil man), tasted like terry blacks frozen black margarita, both not my favorite due to sweetness. The best thing to get here was the squash soup. The empanadas are also a decent appetizer tonight accompany the meal. I would suggest skipping on the green michelada unless you really love green dipping salsa on everything.
John V — Google review
We went for cinco de mayo and this place was excellent! The food has all of the color but without the spice. The salsa has flavor but zero spice. I ordered the tacos con nopales and they were very good! The drinks are really good. The oil man was one that stood out- its very pretty and unique but it had to water down a little for me to enjoy the flavor. The guava margarita was very good and I personally loved the cotton candy drink which seemed like it had a lower alcohol content. The prices are on the higher side but the service was good considering how busy it was. We had one drink that got forgotten but the waiter admitted his mistake and comped the drink. We sat out on the patio which was really nice, the decor inside is really nice so don't miss that either!
Ashlie D — Google review
Great salsa and everything was well-priced for the area. Our waiter, Kevin, was amiable and accommodating, as we were first-timers! Will be back! - recommend the steak and eggs and omelets!

Very authentic Mexican cuisine, as you may be able to tell from the photos. I walked in here starving and was barely able to walk out. HOWEVER, being the picky person I am, I feel like it should be 3 stars rather than 4. I understand restaurants thrive on these reviews and so I rated this four stars because I love this place. The food is great but nothing super special. Now… the reason why I put 4 stars is really because of their drink list. BEST MARGARITAS in Dallas for sure. You also have you choices of spicy, sweet, tart and whatever else you can possibly think of. Also one of the very few places in Dallas that serves mock tails.

This place is delicious. The mole was so good as were the drinks! The service was excellent and the manager Jessica went above and beyond and how she treated each table was so welcoming! We will definitely be back (I forgot to save the pic of the mole oops) but definitely well Worth it! A must try!

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is absolutely delicious. The margaritas and soup were standout items. It's on the pricy side, though. My friend ordered the carne asada, which was $45, but the portion was quite small. The ambiance is charming, and the presentation of the dishes is impressive. However, the waiter was really pushy on selling.

Exceptional authentic Mexican restaurant in uptown Dallas!! We had a large group of 18 people and everyone loved the food (except the guy who ordered a Caesar salad!) 😂. He regretted that decision and had tremendous food envy after seeing others’ meals. The service was outstanding as well. Our waiter was a lot of fun and really engaged the entire table when recommending options on the menu and taking orders. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Dallas and would highly recommend if for anyone visiting.

Second time here, very good place, with good atmosphere and great service from our server. Our friends and I had several different plates, I had the scallops, which were great, they went very well with sweet potato puree and a mole that were very flavorful. We also had short ribs, which I've had before, also very good; shrimp al mojo, and since we were there during Restaurant Week, my wife had the fixed menu. You will certainly have a good experience and enjoy the food. It's a little pricey, and portions a tad small, the cocktails are good but not that great for their price.

Jaliso Norte is a nice place to have a group outting, lunch or dinner. My group enjoyed their queso, chips, sauces, flautaus as appetizers. The queso fundido was awesome. I had a margarita swirl, it was ok but the drink was on the salty side without tasting the rim of the glass. For dinner I the Salmon dish, it was a bit over cooked but the veggies were great. My colleague had the short ribs and raved about them. My other colleague had shrimp and thought they were huge and tasted great.she wasn't very happy with the menu flexibility. She made a number of requests to try to meet her diet and preferences to no avail ex. change the seafood enchiladas to a shrimp enchilada. Before going make sure you find a dish you like or contact them to see if they can accommodate any dietary or preferred food prep desires.

All staff members were really nice and our waitress recommended us the best drinks! Beautiful ambience, and I love the earthy decor. Our waitress was also kind enough to let us taste-test the molé sauce to see if we would like it before we ordered. We got the fish tacos and the brisket enchiladas! Would definitely suggest this spot for a tasty Tex Mex meal!
Sandy B — Google review
We stopped in today for lunch and really enjoyed everything we tried. Lunch today was a flauta appetizer, fresh margaritas, and a main course each. I tried the scallops today and it was incredible. The flavors and the variety of textures made this dish one of the best I’ve had in a long time. It was interesting and each element complimented one another. We’d definitely recommend trying this place out.

Beautiful restaurant! Drinks were good - tried the skinny margarita and michelada. Guac was well seasoned. Chips and salsa were really good. I wouldn’t suggest the tamales - they are under whelming and overall pretty heavy. Greens salad was awesome - I had steak on it which was cooked perfectly medium rare. Tacos were good! Highly recommend this new spot!

Rex's Seafood Market is a casual seafood spot serving fresh catches from around the world at the Dallas Farmers Market. The eatery is brightly lit and casual and offers reasonable prices for decent food. The open, airy space is perfect for catching a bite before shopping at the market or after exploring nearby attractions.
This is a hidden gem. It had close to 20 types of oysters from all around the country. They are flown in every two days to Lufkin airport. They are so fresh. I had to taste them all. I would not dress them up with condiments. If you don't like oysters, cool. The TUNA NACHOS are a masterpiece of creativity. My wife had the fish chips. The white cod was incredibly tender. The servers knew about the food origins and so much patience. 11/10

Will return. The French Open is on their four tv monitor (the last match of the day - well past 10 pm in Paris: Džumhur v Alcaraz), so we stopped for a drink. Counter service by a few energetic young people, professional and proficient. They grind their own horseradish, which is great - it tastes so so good. Three kinds of oyster we tried: Great White of MA: light Birch Point of ME: flavorful - our favored Irish Point of PEI: they’re good (Prince Edward Island) We’d have more but can’t - have an Italian dinner at 6, and we’ve to go. Does the increasing efficient shipping service makes it possible for anyone to realize their dream business - Dallas, and Texas in that matter is a landlocked region. But what do I know. … Alcaraz won in four, on his second match point, near 5pm Dallas time. I’d think Friday evening is a hopping time in the city but it feels dead, the mall is pretty empty. Where’s everyone? Or it’s too early for everybody -:) - my first full day in Dallas. Wishing everyone with a desire to succeed in a biz the best of luck.

Came here for lunch while visiting the farmer's market. I was really surprised how good the fish and chips was. But the fish was really tender and tasty. Oyster were tasty and they give you a mix from different locations. I also liked the redfish and sweet potato fries. Not a lot of seating as the place was very busy but the servers do come bring the food to your table even if you are eating outside. Seating area is shared with other restaurants and and is in the walk through area between other stores.

So surprised how bad this location of Rex is. We had dinner at the uptown location once (during the pandemic) and we loved their food. This location is on a totally different level (underground level). We got the salmon burger. The patty tasted like blended and fried mussels..... I could only take one bite and had to throw it away. The fries I got with it were just okay. The ceviche was at least edible but Mediocre.
S K — Google review
Rex’s Seafood and Market was a little disappointing. I may need to stick to the other location on NW Hwy. I had a better experience there. The stand is located near an entry/exit door. Therefore, it gets a little warm sitting there to eat at the picnic style tables. This review covers two separate visits. The first visit, I went during happy hour. I had the Ceviche and a Frose. Keep in mind that I eat Ceviche often. I feel like I have a good grasp of what good ceviche looks and tastes like. Their version did not measure up. I’m used to it arriving tableside looking picturesque. That was not the case. I didn’t taste much lime. The Siracha sauce was over powering the other flavors. The shrimp were small also. The frose was hard to drink. I usually like it but it was kind of bitter. My second visit I had the Lobster Roll. Again, I’ve tried a few, and this one was decent. It seemed to have a piece of claw meat on top and the rest was shredded. I wanted Connecticut style but they didn’t ask me. The lobster was tender and the bread was soft. Not bad , but not great. The fries were super salty. Overall, I rate the sandwich a 3 but the restaurant a 2. If you want a quick Lobster Roll while at the Farmers Market, check out Rex’s Seafood & Market.

I ordered the sushi grade Ahi Tuna with spinach and mixed vegetables. I gotta say, for 20$ this was well worth it!! The tuna was seared perfectly and the vegetables were seasoned really good too! I liked the spinach a lot, I personally think I might have had a bit too much lemon, but it was also topped with Parmesan, and made garlic too!

Stopped by here on a recommendation from hotel staff near by- it was very lively on a Thursday evening but also big enough location that we were able to be seated in the back since we had small kids with us. We got the appetizer sampler which was good. The taquitos & quesadilla was really good. The chips & salsa were really good as well. Shrimp tacos are a must! I didn’t catch the server or managers name but they both were phenomenal! Coming from the restaurant industry- they were prime example of good service! Oh and the margaritas were amazing as well!

Came to eat for lunch and had the “Pollo su crema” it was okay, a little dry and barely any beans but the rice with it was good and the sauce on top of the chicken was good too. Vidorra in Dallas, Deep Ellum location did not disappoint! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with big smiles by the host and the manager, I believe his name was Jose. Since I was by myself I just asked to sit at the bar. Not only my bartender but my server Stephanie was very helpful with the menu. She recommended the sirloin burrito. The steak in the burrito was juicy tender and delicious! Generous amount of food and an endless chips and salsa. Stephanie also recommended the churros for desert and that was a great choice. Not to soft, a little bit of a crunch completed with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and strawberries. It was perfect! I loved that I always had a full glass of ice cold water for the my thirst. Very attentive! Even as I paid my bill and left I was greeted out with all smiles by all the staff. When it comes to Hospitality I’d say the managers/trainers are teaching well. My overall experience at Vidorra was definitely a 10/10! Food was great and Service was definitely great!

There’s only a few really special spots in Richardson and this is one of them. My Italian girlfriend whose father is from Naples absolutely loved this restaurant. We live down the street and were mad we didn’t visit sooner. Can’t wait to go back and also try the Downtown Dallas location! Sea bass was amazing Make reservations if possible if going on Friday or Saturday night. Everything was stupendous from start to finish. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Service and atmosphere doesn’t get any better. Generous portions too! As first timers, our waitress was more than happy to help us pick accommodating our palates. We ordered the Fritto misto for an appetizer, chop salad Napoli Centrale and Sea Bass For drinks, try the Godfather or something from the dessert drink menu, you won’t be disappointed. We regret not ordering a dessert. Affogato or tiramisu will be ordered next time.

Everything was good, and it wasn't crazy overpriced. The Montanara pizza was really interesting. It has a subtle sweetness that reminded me of pastry. Was delicious fresh but didn't reheat too well in the oven at home, so I'd suggest to finish it at the restaurant.

Delicious! We had the Calebrese pizza and the calzone, along with a cider and amber lager. We were blown away. Everything was absolutely delicious. I asked for a small bit of extra honey to dip my crust in. You can tell all the ingredients were quality and the food was hand made. We did go on a Tuesday during dinner time and were surprised how packed it was. Might be worth making a reservation if you have a group. We were just two so were happy to sit at the bar.

This place came highly recommended so I had to check it out. We started out with a bang but then it sizzled out. We started with the burrata and brussel sprouts (5/5) and meatballs (4/5). While the burrata and brussels were delicious and offset each other in a melodic way, the meatballs were marinated but the marinara was just okay. The pan seared sea bass was out of this world. The accompanying broth does a good job bringing out the taste and crispness of the bass (6/5). However, the meta di Sorrento was not good (2/5). The crust had great texture, but it was extremely bland. I had to request salt to give it any kind of seasoning. The alcohol drinks were good, but the Italian soda (1/5) was way too sweet. I thought I would go into diabetic shock from it. I was wrong. The limencello (dessert) is what would have sent me over. One spoon was enough for me to end my meal. It was so sweet that my teeth hurt after (0/5). Overall it was hit and miss.

Seafood restaurant
Dive Coastal Cuisine is a bright and contemporary seafood spot in Dallas, offering health-conscious fare that's far from your typical dive. The fast-casual restaurant prides itself on using organic produce, seasonal seafood, and non-GMO, grass-fed, hormone-free ingredients whenever possible. Their menu features a variety of dishes infused with flavors of the ocean, including salads, sandwiches, and tacos made with choices like crispy cod and grilled mahi.
I ordered the grilled chicken wrap, which comes with the plantain chips, and had an unsweetened iced tea. The wrap was out of this world good, and definitely something I would want to eat again. The plantain chips, while slightly less healthy, were also a lot of fun, especially with salt. The tea was okay; it was a bit weak and could be stronger, but fine. Overall though, I would recommend this place for lunch, and try to come a bit early, because it can get busy there.

I recently visited Dive Coastal with a friend, looking for a place with fresh options and good variety — and we definitely found it. I ordered the kids’ meal with salmon and veggies along with a side of mini dish and chips, and everything was light, flavorful, and satisfying. We happened to stumble in during happy hour, which was a great bonus! We also tried the ahi tuna and the stuffed avocado, both of which were incredibly fresh and well-prepared. Overall, the atmosphere was relaxed, the ingredients were high-quality, and the menu had a lot of choices depending on what you’re craving. A perfect spot if you’re looking for something casual but still want food that feels clean and thoughtfully made. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

The grilled grouper and artichokes with several dipping sauces were delicious. The seafood tartare came with crunchy plantain chips. The asparagus side was steamed to perfection, still crisp and green. The black beans were tasty. We were lucky with parking arriving at 2:00 on Saturday. The clean interior was cool and seating was comfortable. The one TV had no sound so we enjoyed conversation.

This place is so so yummy! I would pay attention when you’re ordering because I ordered one crab sandwich, a drink and two sides and it was $44 😆not including tip. It’s not a grab and go <$25 lunch kind of menu and to me, it was scrumptious so fresh and worth it! I see the reviews with people complaining about the price but that’s on the orderer not the venue. I love seeing local thrive! In any case, if you’re going to go for the crab sandwich like I did that’s what you can expect to pay. I loved it! Next time I would order the tuna wrap, and the crabcakes and get to expand my taste buds. A little bit more. The mushroom side also looked amazing! Here are the pictures I took. Thank you!

Tapas restaurant
Wine bar
Barcelona Wine Bar is a charming spot tucked away on a side street off Henderson Avenue in Dallas, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The covered patio with heaters provides a cozy atmosphere for enjoying Spanish-style tapas, entrees, and desserts. The extensive wine menu features Spanish-influenced selections, complemented by craft cocktails, sangria, and beer. This location is known for its romantic ambiance with hanging lights and vintage decor that creates an escape to Spain.
I had the pleasure of dining at Barcelona Wine Bar last night. I was so excited to try it while on vacation in Dallas. It definitely did not disappoint. Although loud, the restaurant vibe was fabulous. They also have a lovely outdoor patio. The attentive staff went above and beyond checking in on how the meal was going. They could not have been nicer. Although we were only two of us, we tried as many dishes as possible. Everything was outstanding. Please come to Michigan. Thank you for a fabulous experience

Food was great and the ambience was lovely! Pretty loud in there from everyone's conversations and chatter, but that makes the restaurant so much more lively. I went here for a girls night and we had loads of fun. The food was delicious. My favorite plates were the shrimp, pork belly, empanada, and paella. The service was fast and our waitress was lovely. They had free valet at the front of the restaurant, and the location was easy to find. I would recommend this restaurant as a dinner for families, date nights, girls nights, etc!

We had a nice time at Barcelona Wine Bar and would definitely come back. It was quite busy in there and we were happy we got a reservation a couple of weeks in advance. I tried one of their tempranillos and enjoyed the recommendation. Overall, the tapas were fantastic. We got the heirloom tomatoes, empanadas, patatas bravas, bacon wrapped dates, and croquettes. I recommend every single one of these but my favorites were the patatas bravas and the empanadas. They also bring by a delicious bread that I enjoyed eating with the meal. I felt that this meal was well sized, extremely well made, and reasonably priced for what you got. I would definitely come back here and am excited to try more of their tapas. Note- they have valet.

Nice place, ideal for wine night with a bite. Service was pretty slow and items took a while to come out. Aged wagyu and cheese options were pretty good. So were the potatoes and chicken but nothing out of the ordinary.

We had dinner at Barcelona for the first time today. I booked our reservation through their website via Tock, got two confirmation emails and even a text — but when we arrived at 4:30 p.m., no one could find it. I had to show the hostess the emails just to prove we actually had a reservation. Our server, Mario, was great — super attentive and tried his best to make up for a few menu items that weren’t available, including Estrella, a classic “Barcelona” beer. We started with the steamed mussels and pork belly. The mussels were really good, especially the broth, but the pork belly didn’t impress us — it wasn’t crispy and came out kind of cool. For our main dish, we had the Paella Salvaje. It had nice flavor, though not much socarrat (that crispy rice layer), and most of the meat was sausage. We finished with the flan, which was small but delicious. Overall, I’d give the experience a 7/10. They’ve got potential, but they definitely need to work on their reservation system, food temperature, and keeping key items in stock.

We visited Barcelona Wine Bar later in the evening and everything about it was exceptional. The vibe was relaxed and intimate with dim lighting and beautifully curated decor. It felt cozy and effortlessly cool all at once. Our server Bowser who also manages the place was outstanding. He had this perfect mix of humor professionalism and genuine warmth that made the night feel personal and memorable. Even though we came in close to closing we never felt rushed. He made us feel right at home. I ordered the chicken pimientos and I’m still thinking about it. Easily one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had. Rich flavorful and perfectly cooked. My partner ordered a couple of tapas and every bite was just as impressive. I usually stick to Napa Valley wines but Bowser chose a Spanish wine that completely won me over. It was smooth delicious and surprisingly affordable. He even gifted it to us in honor of our anniversary which was such a kind and unexpected gesture. We didn’t get to try the paella this time around but it’s at the top of our list for the next visit. Honestly I’m half tempted to move back to Dallas just to be closer to this place or hope that something like it opens in Fort Worth. If you are considering going just do it. The food the wine and the people are all amazing.

We booked a reservation for Saturday at 6:30 pm, and I’m glad we did because this place was packed. We waited about 15 minutes at the bar before being seated at our table. I had been craving Spanish food for a while, and after seeing all the glowing reviews, I thought it was worth a try. We ordered several popular Spanish dishes, and while I didn’t expect them to be exactly like what you’d find in Spain, I did hope they’d be somewhat close. Overall, the dishes tasted lovely, but authentic? Not really. When I ordered the pulpo gallego, I was expecting the traditional style: sliced potatoes layered at the bottom with pieces of octopus drizzled in olive oil and paprika. Instead, the octopus came out whole with just two potatoes on the plate. The chorizo, however, was excellent, and the patatas bravas were really good too. The salads, like the burrata and watermelon, were very small and nothing memorable. The bacon-wrapped dates came with a Valdeón mousse, which I personally think could be swapped for something else. I’ve had dates stuffed with chorizo at another Spanish spot, and those were truly chef’s kiss! The olive oil cake, though, was absolutely delicious—I would order that again and again. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor seating area, perfect for cooler evenings when you just want to enjoy a glass of wine with a few bites. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which really added to the experience. Would this be my first choice whenever I’m craving authentic Spanish food? Probably not. But if you want to get a taste of some Spanish flavors, it’s worth checking out. Having tried so many restaurants in Spain, it’s hard not to compare, but overall, this is a solid option in Dallas. Bonus: they offer free valet parking for diners, which is always a plus.

My husband and I came here for a date night. It was a nice place to try, but not a place we would come back to. The paella was bland and small and I did not like having to spit out the seeds from the olive small plate I ordered, especially on a date night. It was kind of disgusting having to spit in front of my husband while I'm talking. We asked for pepper and our waitress forgot and had to ask her 3 times for it after 15 minutes of waiting she came back and said they didn't have any. How does a restaurant not have pepper?! We would have enjoyed sitting outside on the patio since it was a nice evening, but we were way too close to other tables that we didn't feel comfortable talking bc we felt we were too loud for the other tables and we felt like we had no privacy.

The modern decor and rustic details create an inviting ambiance for lunch, dinner, or brunch. The menu features contemporary American dishes such as flatbreads, jalapeno double-cut pork chops, short rib melt, blackened Texas redfish, and fried chicken cobb salad.
We absolutely loved this place. Looking for a bite to eat in someplace nice and comfortable at the same time. We found it! We stopped during happy hour some drinks(including mocktails), appetizers, and some flatbreads were half price. Not to mention our servers "D" and "Ton-ay" were absolutely outstanding! Thanks guys~ you made it with it! Keep it up guys 💚 thank you for a great time ! Oh btw.. the volcano Rick shrimp was definitely on point!

Food wise, some dishes were pretty worth it (like the Texan - portion was HUGE and the chicken steak with gravy was delicious) while others fell short of flavor n taste (ex - short hash rib was extremely salty and just didn’t look that appealing). The mimosa also fell short of worthiness but still fun to split amongst friends Service wise, they were nice n accommodating in helping us reserve a table for 11. Our server was patient with the order and id say the food came out at a reasonable time. Decor wise, I wish the place was a little bit brighter and more aesthetically pleasing. But overall, was fine though I will warn about the traffic/parking issues. Make sure you plan ahead for that

This was our first time visiting, and we were both really satisfied with the overall experience. The staff were friendly, the wait times were not long at all, and the food was awesome as there were a lot of brunch options that were available. I had the chicken fried steak, and my wife got the banana pancakes. Great first time experience, will be back again.

We stumbled upon Stirr while bar-hopping, and it turned out to be an amazing find! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a great night. Our waiter was exceptionally helpful, recommending some fantastic options. We ordered a pitcher of their house cocktail along with several appetizers, and everything was delicious. The standout for me? The fried tacos—crispy, flavorful, and an absolute must-try! I highly recommend them. The ambiance was lively yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot for both casual hangouts and special occasions. Unfortunately, the rooftop was closed during our visit, but I’ve heard great things and will definitely check it out next time. Another plus: Parking was a breeze! There’s a paid lot right in front of the restaurant, making it super convenient. Overall, Stirr exceeded our expectations with its friendly service, tasty food, and inviting atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

ADDITION: Our server was so sweet. We were prepared to leave a large tip, then we noticed we were charged the 20% gratuity that's for 8 parties or more. It was pretty shady, we were surprised. When we asked about it, we were told it's automatic F,S,Su. If that's the case, please update the notice on menus (-: ORIGINAL REVIEW: Service and atmosphere 10/10. Food? You may as well go to Walmart and get a TV dinner, I guarantee it'll taste better. Came for my birthday, got the shrimp and grits, hubby got the chicken and waffles. It was under seasoned, wrong textures, and just, not good at all. I'm convinced people have terrible tastebuds these days in DFW. I'm over the lying reviews :/. $83 wasted. If you just wanna vibe and have drinks, maybe, but eat before you come!

Absolutely loved our visit! The waiter was incredibly sweet, polite, and informative. The appetizer was nice and cheesy, and the little candle with the string lights gave the whole evening a romantic touch. Our pizza came out fast, looked amazing, and tasted even better. Service was attentive and quick, overall a wonderful dining experience!

Great staff and good food. The pizza was flavorful and everything else tasted great. My biggest gripe is that the pizzas got soggy really fast. You basically have to eat your pizza with a fork here. It does not hold together whatsoever.

Got the Chicken Tikka pizza takeout. Flavor was good. After the first few pieces it seemed to droop between my fingers more than most pizza. It seemed the crust was underdone. Was too hungry to notice at first. It did come out really fast, but no one was there either. My first time. Will try Frisco. From reviews seems like a one off.

Brian was our server yesterday. He was fast, efficient and also running the entire establishment yesterday. There were 3 servers on staff during lunch. He managed to be the food expeditor while also providing us exceptional service. My friend and I came in and ordered the Lunch Combo. What a great deal as you can choose between the pepperoni, sausage or margherita pizza with a side or salad or tater tots. The pizza was fresh and delicious. The tater tots were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Don't forget to order a side of their amazing ranch to dip!

Cane Rosso is just the best! Food is artfully crafted, service is exactly what one would expect and atmosphere is adaptable to the time of day and the present crowd. I ordered the prosciutto and arugula pizza, beau ordered pasta of the month for June— mushroom gnocchi + add on chicken. Flavors are immaculate!

This Cane Rosso has a nice date night vibe to its atmosphere. My friend and I wanted to grab something to eat and decided on cane rosso because the service is fast for a brick oven pizza. The pizza did take a few to arrive but because we ordered a ceaser salad we weren’t in a rush for the pizza. Everything was hot, amazing and fresh! The best hint of spices to the pizza that kept me wanting more and the doughy crust was splendid. The service was good but could be better. I was first sat right next to a party when there was more tables available around the room. I asked to be moved and the process was seamless but it did feel weird to be sat next to a large group. We also didn’t get a refill on water till we had to ask when signing our check but other than that a nice place to get pizza.

I’ve been dining here for 3 years now, and overall, it is amazing. I recommend chicken fajita tacos they are very delicious. And the fries, don’t get me started with the fries. They are so crispy and magnificent, best out of all restaurants in the state of Texas. I definitely would recommend eating here.

Great waitstaff; however, Ordered the chicken strips from the child’s menu for granddaughter and she immediately didn’t like them which is unusual. I tasted one and realized they had old burnt oil taste. The children’s menu is just as important as the adults menu. I’ve added a picture to show the coloring. They were very bland as well. Disappointed.

We ordered takeout through Uber Eats. The food upon arrival was not the best looking, presentation wise but that’s to be expected with food moving around. Nonetheless the food was very tasty and everything was well worth it. For maximum experience and quality, I understand going in for the dine in experience is recommended. The meat was perfectly cooked to our liking, the fries were crispy, and the Brussels were so delicious.

Came here twice in the last few weeks - mostly to watch football - and I have enjoyed this restaurant on both occasions. The first time we came was most memorable because we sat at the bar and the bartender was so nice, we chatted the whole time (in-between plays!) and was super funny, attentive, and made amazing cocktails like the dirty martini my counterpart wanted. The food we had were the HG Caesar Salad and the Cheese Sticks as appetizers. The Caesar salad was made with kale and it was a wonderful twist on the original because it was the perfect consistency and moderately dressed - the kale not too crunchy or too soft. The cheese sticks were also really good - they have this special ranch they make and it has become one of my favorites! For mains we shared the Crispy Fried Chicken the first time around and the Fish & Chips the second time we came. Both were really good, especially the fish and chips. The only faux pas I feel they made was the chicken, I felt it was just a tad dry and it made us ask for a little more gravy. Other than that I had a great time each time I came. The restaurant is really nice and a great place for watching sports because they have a big screen outside, everyone is super nice, and the bathrooms are clean. Based on both experiences, I will definitely come back again!

Different meetup groups have talked about this place so this has been a restaurant I've noticed more than once. I tried their beef stroganoff which was quite excellent. The sauce was creamy and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the meal. They have a nice open space including places for games outside. They also have a bar area if you're interested in that kind of thing. Everything looks clean and the staff was very personable. Overall I would not mind coming back, I also heard compliments about the Patty melt.

Bowl & Barrel is a stylish bowling alley in Dallas that offers a great spot to gather with friends, family, or colleagues. While enjoying a game of bowling, guests can indulge in craft cocktails, beer, wine, and delicious bites such as Crab Hushpuppies and Ribeye Steak Sandwich. The venue also features a solid happy hour with drinks and snacks. It's recommended for a fun date night idea in Dallas too! The place is known for its clean lanes and seating area.
I came here on a Wednesday afternoon to take advantage of the $10/hr special (Mon-Fri before 4:00pm - price includes shoes; normally $40). Parked in the free garage across the street. Walked in and was immediately assisted with getting a lane. I loved the unique ambiance inside this alley - rustic yet upscale feel. Very clean. Great music. Comfortable seating. It wasn't crowded but there were other bowlers there. I really appreciated that bowlers were spaced out and not assigned side-by-side lanes. I didn't get any food/beverages but there was a server nearby that was friendly and accessible had I needed anything. There's also a large bar in an adjacent room.

Great spot for a fun night out! The atmosphere is stylish and relaxed, and the bowling lanes are well-maintained. The food and drinks were good, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Sitting at the bar as I write this review. I saw the place on tik tok. I walked in, no greeting. Sat at the bar. Bartenders relaxed and no one greeted me. I was there 7 minutes before being acknowledged. And the acknowledgement was setting a napkin down without any words. I literally asked the bartender how he was doing and was he having an okay day. I told him it’s my first time and are there recommendations he said “there’s the food and drink menu”. Asked me if I wanted water and mind you no recommendations. Very uninviting. I’m leaving and hope you all learn better service.

Live music venue
Pub
Double Wide Bar is a welcoming neighborhood spot located on the far-eastern edge of the area. It has a renegade spirit and offers inventive frozen cocktails like the YooHoo YeeHaw. The bar hosts local and regional bands playing punk, metal, and country music multiple nights a week. Despite its quirky mobile home decor, it promises to be a memorable nightspot in Dallas with its unique style and charm.
There’s something beautifully, defiantly wrong about a dive bar called Double Wide serving vegan Mexican food. It’s the kind of cognitive dissonance that makes perfect sense only in Texas, where contradictions don’t just coexist but slow dance together under neon beer signs. Every third Wednesday, this East Dallas institution transforms into something unexpected. Chef Daddy rolls up with a mission that would make your abuela either weep or throw chanclas: plant based Mexican food that somehow doesn’t feel like punishment. The Crunchwrap arrives like a beautiful lie wrapped in a tortilla, crispy and substantial enough to make you forget you’re not committing culinary sins. The elote, corn kernels bathed in vegan mayo and chili powder, tastes like summer nights and questionable decisions, which is exactly what you want. The taco plate is honest food, the kind that doesn’t apologize for being different. Each bite carries the weight of tradition bent but not broken, like a mariachi song played on an electric guitar. It works because it doesn’t try too hard to be anything other than what it is: damn good food that happens to be vegan. But here’s the real genius of this place: those five dollar frozen Yoo hoos during happy hour. In a city where craft cocktails cost more than minimum wage and everyone’s chasing the next Instagram worthy rooftop experience, Double Wide offers something genuinely subversive: a chocolate milk cocktail that tastes like childhood and costs less than a fancy coffee. This isn’t just one of the best happy hour deals in Dallas; it’s a middle finger to pretension, served ice cold in a plastic cup. Sometimes the most revolutionary act is keeping things simple, affordable, and real. Double Wide gets it. Oh, and last but certainly not least, GiGi is an ANGEL!

The Grapevine Bar is a laid-back and inclusive neighborhood haunt in Dallas, known for its mismatched furnishings and diverse crowd. My 2nd trip. I've experienced the inside and outside stages. It's OK to dance! So, come as you are. It's an inclusive spot, and you'll find no fighting here. Parkland is visible. It's not residential, so live music can go to midnight and beyond. Easy access to I-35 or I-30 via Hampton south to head back to Tarrant County.

Cool, local (semi-dive) bar in Dallas. Had a pretty good beer selection and chill atmosphere. Lots of couches and comfortable chairs. Prices weren't exorbitant, just pretty average. Glad it was close and we stopped in.

Having moved back to Dallas from living in Austin for many years, I had always missed going to a quirky, cozy divey-feeling bar. The moment we walked in the decor really catches your eye and there is a small stage on the right. The bar has cute light fixtures over it and there are coin pool tables with pink and purple felt. The seating varies from sofas to chairs to bar stools inside. Outside they have a patio that extends beyond what you might expect. In other words it is massive! There is also another stage out there and the ambience is very cool. It almost feels like a brewery with tons of picnic table seating and open air for the smokers who want to smoke and socialize. The service was great, the drink selection was good, and the inside/outside hang out space was really just the best. The only downside that I can think of for this place is maybe that they don't have that much parking space? I mean that's me trying hard to come up with some flaw about this place! Come check them out, period. You won't regret it!

Joe’s has some of the best chicken tortilla soup in town. I like how it’s creamy texture instead of all broth. It’s always my go to the staff are always friendly. The only concern I had is that they did not have Sprite from the The fountain and we’re selling cans. After we purchased it, we were told that it’s $3.25 a can and there are no free refills. The manager did take it off of our bill. But that’s still an outrageous price.

I had a really good time at Joe Leo! The service was really good. Our server made sure my family and I were taken care of, even though they were closing soon. The food was very fresh and flavorful, and the margarita wasn’t too bad neither! I recommend this place to anyone ! Also, if you have time, try out their happy hour! It’s amazing, also!

Our waiter Marcos and Edgar were absolutely amazing! They were attentive, friendly, and really made our experience memorable. The food was pretty good as well, but there was a small issue with the silverware. I had to ask them to replace it because it was dirty, and the shot glasses were the same. Other than that, everything else was great, and we truly enjoyed our time!

Knox Henderson vibe without the traffic and crowds and only a couple of blocks away! It’s a Thursday and we sat on the patio. Despite being rather hot outside, it was rather pleasant on the patio because of the fans. The atmosphere was great as well. Had a Mexican Martini to start and it was delicious, also had a Rosarita that was quite nice. Fajitas were delicious and the beans and tortillas were of particular note. Brooklyn really took care of us and all of the waitstaff were very nice and helpful. Did see a few dishes that passed by to other tables that I had to make note of to order next time. Overall this felt like a hidden gem despite being practically in the middle of a busy intersection.

The ambiance was exciting, the service was amazing and the food was delicious! Edgar provided a whole class experience, he was an awesome server!

I came in on a Friday night and was lucky enough to have Keya as my bartender. She gave us absolutely excellent customer service—the kind of service you just don’t find much nowadays. Keya went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and she did it all with such a wonderful attitude. You can really tell she takes pride in her work. Outstanding job, and I’ll definitely be coming back because of her!

My mother had a big work call but was able to take up space in the patio located on the extremity of the venue! Safe to say we WILL be back. A home away from home and an oasis for the thirsty! Joe Leo you could get it ;)

The venue features a garden patio, live music on weekends, and a laid-back atmosphere that's both trendy and welcoming. Guests can enjoy delicious menu items like jalapeno poppers and Cubano Eggrolls. The establishment offers great photo opportunities with its cute decor and clear restrooms.
Didn't know this place existed but went here with some friends before the concert on Saturday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was super friendly and helpful made sure my drink was never empty. They have lots of variety on the menu with foods and drink. I went with the chicken fried chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. Those in my group order different wraps handhelds and drinks. Everyone enjoyed it! Definitely would go back!

Went here this past Saturday and I can't wait to go back. We started off with an appetizer. I haven't had toasted ravioli in years and was so excited to see it on the menu. Not many places offer this. The two ladies taking care of us were on top of it... always checking on us and our glass was never half empty. Ambiance, playlist, food & drinks were great. I will definitely recommend this place if you haven't been.

Nice local brunch spot with relaxing garden vibes. Good prices and good portions as well as an excellent drink menu - every drink we got was delicious. By far the best dish was the egg rolls Cubano 😋 would definitely come back!
Lexie N — Google review
My new go to brunch spot. First visit today, definitely not my last. My friends were so impressed they were planning future events to have here. Love the location, ample parking. The staff was friendly, and attentive. The food and drinks were incredible, as well as reasonably priced. I had the breakfast tacos and purple belini. Soo yummy! I loved the vibe. The music, the decor, so classy and IG worthy. There's also a patio option, which is perfect for people watching!

The food tasted amazing, however, we almost walked out prior to ordering. We arrived for brunch (party of two) and I walked in to place our name on the waiting list and was told that we could immediately sit at the bar if we didn't mind. As we proceed to the bar, the hostess stops us and says you can't sit at the bar, after explaining what we're were just told by the front of the house, she reluctantly tells us to sit at the end of the bar. We sit and watch 4 couples get waited on AFTER we were sat and they were sat AFTER us, the bartender nor hostess tended to us or greeted us for a good 10 minutes. When we were finally acknowledged by the bartender we order and our food came out quickly. The food was great and so were the drinks, service, not so much. Its nice and quaint but easy to miss if you aren't familiar with Deep Ellum. Not sure I'll return. 😕

This place is a vibe. Located in downtown Dallas. The photo ops are endless, the restaurant was cute, the restrooms where clear. And the food was amazing. I didn't care for the fried meatballs, however, the fried ravioli, the stuffed jalapeños, and stuff chicken breast was amazing. I accompanied mines with a side of angel hair pasta and a side salad..... Amazing! My girls both had the chicken fried chicken and they really enjoyed it. We came in after midnight and the food was still on point. The prices was average. The drink menu is limited. I gave this place 4 stars ONLY because there was only one server for the entire restaurant. He was doing the best he could to keep up with all the tables. The bar tender came from behind the bar assist which was a plus! 97% would recommend this restaurant and I will be coming back for their brunch!
Sharlene B — Google review
Ambiance and decor was the best part of this restaurant! The cocktails were beautiful and delicious. We ordered a cheese tray as well that had a great selection of items to snack on while enjoying the cocktails. The biggest issue that made it almost unbearable to stay here were the gnats. There were so many! Once they brought our drinks I noticed a few around our table, but once they brought the food that was it. They immediately started landing in the relish and hummus making them inedible. It was a bit overwhelming. If the bugs weren't a factor this would've been a 5-star review... Easily.
Ashley S — Google review
Had a wonderful experience! Came here on a weekend during brunch. Food were amazing! $35 for a bottle of champagne...PERFECT! Great music and vibe. First come, first serve. So, expect to wait 2hrs for a table. We asked for the bar because there wasn't a wait. Located in Deep Ellum. Therefore, parking was chaotic.

Stan's Blue Note is a lively sports bar with a divey atmosphere and adorned with memorabilia. Established in 1952, it remains a popular neighborhood haunt offering daily drink specials and hosting various events such as game watching parties, trivia nights, and karaoke. With an extensive selection of over 100 types of bottled beer and more than 50 options on tap, it's the perfect place to enjoy cold drinks while cheering for your favorite sports team on TV.
This is a great sports bar. Atmosphere is younger college crowd but all is welcome. The owner even makes the rounds and makes sure everyone is having fun! I will definitely be back. And it’s a perfect place to watch the game!

What a fun place for drinks and socializing. I went for a Chili Cookoff fundraiser for a Suicide Prevention non-profit charity. Stan's became the spot to taste nearly 30 competitor chili recipes while enjoying Stan's well provisioned beer and spirit selection. They had my brand to. That earns a thumbs up!!! I had an awesome time and Ill certainly return again. This business supports critical charity. That counts to me.

Went to an F1 event here, got tickets in advance, and when we got there had to squeeze in at other people’s table, where ONE waitress was serving the whole section (probably over 100 people). We never even got offered any kind of service, it was impossible to order food or drinks at the bar. The entire bar should have been opened up to F1 fans seeing as how many people showed for that section. The ambiance and crowd was awesome and energetic, but for sure would never come back here for an F1 race. Super disappointed in this event. This establishment was zero percent prepared for any kind of crowd or to host any kind of event like this.

This is one of the coolest places in Dallas, no, Texas! It's the epitome of a dive bar, but the food is awesome, and there is an incredible selection of beers on tap. TVs are everywhere, and they're very accommodating on finding what you want to watch. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to spot. I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

This place is awesome 👏🏽!! It gets BUSY in here and the bartenders keep it cool and fun while getting your drinks to you at a reasonable time. We will come back here again and again! Thank you 😎

Great divey bar with a decent menu of bar food.

Stan’s Blue Note is the rare entertainment dive bar that gets a flat out five star rating. Staff was truly wonderful, welcoming, kind, and hilarious. The prices were reasonable. The AC was kicking and it was very comfortable. They had plenty of bar games, shuffleboard, and a lot of space to spread out. Both front and back patios were comfortable.
