The 39 best spots for fried oysters in New Orleans

After coming in late to New Orleans I was able to secure a late night reservation for me and my cousin for dinner. I had heard so much about the chargrilled oysters I was really excited about them. The restaurant is busy and moving with plenty of staff delivering food to tables. However with our experience it took quite a while for the food to come to my table. I ordered a dozen of the charred oysters. They do take a bit of time to prepare and I was okay with that. However mine came out and my table to the right of me came out piping hot. My oysters were warm and had looked like they had been sitting and it was only a half a dozen. I brought it up to the server and she said they had not been sitting. But the lack of bubbles would say something different my cousin ordered a Caesar salad that took quite a bit of time to come out. When the salad came out all of the lettuce was wilted. She then ordered a fish taco with the toppings on the side. They did not come out the way she ordered. The mahi-mahi was topped with everything and nothing was on the side. I ordered fried pickles which came out on another bed of wilted lettuce. Overall I was highly unhappy with my service. Hopefully this is something that could be attributed to the lateness of the night but this restaurant came highly recommended and I don't see that the recommendation fits the service and food quality that I received tonight

My sister and I had the best food! We got the char grilled oysters, crawfish étouffée, and brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious! Our server Marcelle was amazing. The restaurant is right off bourbon street! There was even a guy at the bar making us feel uncomfortable so Marcelle offered to and escorted us out. The manager Kenny gave us two free drinks to-go! They were both so kind and the food was amazing! Can’t recommend Felix’s enough! 10/10!!

I am so happy that we happened onto this place! The food was superb 👌 😋 from the crab dip ( full of crab) to the oysters, shrimp, fish, asparagus and then to top it off the amazing bread pudding dessert. All perfectly cooked and seasoned. Most appreciated was our wonderful server Heaven!! She was so kind and helpful. I wish all severs were like her.

Our server, Madison, was such a delight. We had a fantastic meal and lucked out with a balcony seat and it was AMAZING. Really enjoyed the jambalaya pasta and the etouffe. Had the chargrilled oysters and we all liked them, even me who isn’t a seafood fan. Thank you for the best night!

Wow! Great food, fun atmoshere and Heaven was an excellent server. When in New Orleans, definitely eat at Felix Seafood. My 1/2 poBoy was perfect, the jambalaya is so tasty and my partner had oysters on half shell, he said it was perfect too! This is on my list of go-to food places.

We enjoyed Felix’s so much that we went twice in one weekend! I think I would have rated the food higher, but I got the same dish and the second time around wasn’t the same - still good but inconsistent. What I think we enjoyed most was our server Al. He was so kind, knowledgeable and took great care of us. We enjoyed chatting with him about the history of the restaurant and New Orleans. If we’re ever back on Bourbon St we’ll definitely stop at Felix’s!

The food was mediocre I ordered an oyster po boy which was $27 dollars which would be no problem if there were more than 7 small oysters on the whole sandwich. They also sat us the the bar adjacent to a serving station which when the servers came up they were bumping into my wife. I said something but they acted like I was the problem. On the bright side the fresh oysters were good but its hard to mess those up.

It’s a divey type of place in the best way possible. The service was impeccable, we were treated like family and nothing was left for want. The food is top notch. We loved the fried crawfish po boy and their roast beef is utterly delicious. We ordered hush puppies and they were probably the best we’d had in Louisiana. I would absolutely return, order even more and just eat myself to death here.

Visited Acme Oyster House during my trip to New Orleans and it did not disappoint. From the moment we stepped in, the vibe was lively and authentic — buzzing with local energy in the heart of the French Quarter. What stood out: The char-grilled oysters were outstanding — rich garlic-butter flavour with a hint of Parmesan, and perfectly cooked. The raw oysters on the half-shell were fresh, briny and served with knowledgeable shuckers visible behind the bar (a fun part of the experience). Beyond oysters, the seafood specialities (jambalaya, étouffée, po-boys) were generous and well-prepared — good for sharing. Service was friendly and fast, despite a busy dining room. We had a queue to get in (worth it!) but once seated things moved smoothly. Atmosphere: casual, lively, full of character — exactly what I hoped for in New Orleans. Things to note: It’s busy — expect a wait during peak hours. While the food is excellent, some items can be a bit pricey (especially oysters at market price) so keep an eye on the menu. If you’re not an oyster fan, no worries — there are plenty of other solid options. Overall: Highly recommended if you’re looking for a fun, full-flavour New Orleans seafood experience. I’ll definitely go back on my next visit.

Very good oysters, although I will say that they basically just taste like pizza. I tasted zero oyster. And that is the best I'm not a huge fan of oysters but still. But still they tasted amazing... Just mainly garlic and butter like crazy. The red beans and rice were also good but I did not like the potato salad

I first came here back in 2019 after seeing a line going all the way down the street. I figured it had to be good, so I jumped in line — and wow, I’m glad I did! The chargrilled oysters were absolutely amazing and totally worth the wait. Fast forward to 2025 for my birthday trip, and of course I had to go back. Those oysters were just as good as I remembered — so good that I ended up eating here three times during my short stay. The food and vibes are still top-notch after all these years. If you go, definitely get the oysters!

The location is great. Very easy to find the resturant. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable of the menu . The shrimp was delicious!! The gator bites were very good. The hushpuppies were not that great. It was a very nice experience. We would definitely eat here again.

We came here around 3PM on a holiday weekend and there was still a line! We waited for around 25 minutes. Got the charbroiled oysters, soft shell crab plate and jambalaya. The fries are good. The oysters are very buttery and tasty but a little too salty in my opinion. Bread is not good but good to dip with the extra butter. Service is just okay. Waiter wasn’t very descriptive when we asked about the menu. Didn’t clear the stacked plates on our table. We added an extra order of oysters and he just assumed we wanted 6 instead of 12 but we didn’t want to wait any longer for our food.

Turns out I'm not a big fan of barbecued oysters but the regular oysters were decent. The class of the match was the red beans and rice and the jambalaya. The etouffee and the gumbo were both solid. What really made this great occasion was our server, Michael S., who set us up the right way with the best deals and who is very friendly and incredibly attentive in a touristy area where the waiters are sometimes just a few steps above grifters, which I appreciate in the old New Orleans way to some degree without enjoying it, Michael is a true gent and an extraordinary mesero.

Yo… My girl has been going on and on about this place ever since she came here a year ago with her mom so naturally we came on our first day down here. There has not been a culinary experience I’ve experienced that has consistently impressed me quite like this one. We started with the famous char-broiled oysters and the hurricane drink… absolutely spectacular. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better, the BBQ shrimp shows up. The BOMB of flavor that we experienced was OTHERWORLDLY. Then the BREAD PUDDING? Yo… the bread pudding. 😍🤤 nuff said. Best believe we will be back. This is the first restaurant I’m trying here and certainly not the last. The precedent that’s been set has me excited to try what else New Orleans has to offer!

Just STELLAR food. Charbroiled oysters are a must. Gator tacos are phenomenal. Sweet potato fries hit. Absolutely amazing seafood. The restaurant does get really busy, so the service is mid. It is an upscale restaurant though, so it is a nice environment for dinner. Would definitely come back!

Great Experience at Drago’s in New Orleans Stopped in at Drago’s while in town for the GSX trade show — the place was absolutely packed, but the energy was great. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was impressed by how fast and friendly the service was, even with the crowd. Started with their famous grilled oysters, and they definitely lived up to the hype — smoky, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. Followed that with a steamed lobster, which was cooked just right and full of flavor. And the bread pudding. Wow, what can I say. Overall, a fantastic experience — great food, lively atmosphere, and top-notch service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in NOLA!

Waiter was Coral he was amazing, asked him for suggestions, I ordered the Pink Starburst drink, the Mac Daddy Trio and my had the bone in ribeye with sides. We shared a dozen charboiled oysters!! Great experience from start to finish!!

Superior Seafood has been a long time favorite of mine. I went with my boyfriend for his birthday recently, and we were so excited, but we weren’t overly impressed. Our server was inattentive and absent most of the night. I’m not sure if they had tables elsewhere or a large party. I made a reservation for 2 and specified it was a birthday celebration. We didn’t order dessert, so maybe that’s why nothing about a birthday was mentioned. The food was great though as always! The fresh bread is always a plus. The mains came with a side salad. We also ordered a half dozen oysters. The oysters were great too! For the price point, I will be going somewhere else in the future.

We had a very large group with reservations (30+) and we were sat in the outdoor/indoor patio. The service was great and the food was delicious, fresh and clean. The only problem was it smelled like gas most of the time in one section. They weren’t sure if it was from the heater or the gas lamps outside. But it really detracted from our experience. When I am in the area I will visit again because the food was delicious.

We were in New Orleans for a few days and this restaurant was one of the highlights to our trip! Amazing food! Everything we tried was so delicious. Our server was so great! He had great recommendations and made our dining experience so much better. My only complaint is we can't go back whenever we want since we live so far! Parking is right off the street or somewhere in the neighborhood if you're lucky. We were seated pretty quickly and our server for the night was attentive and made a really good reccomendation. The food was top notch so the reputation for this place seems well earned. The oysters were fresh and served perfectly. The gumbo had a smoky/nutty taste so maybe the roux may have been slightly burned,but it worked. The fish was fresh as well as the crab toppings. They have a great selection of mixed drinks and wine. Ask the server for the whiskey list and if they have any allocated items in house. This place really has a very old school vibe to it,but it was still a laid back casual enviorment. There is a streetcar stop across the street and a city bus stop right at the entrance so those are also options.

Great food and great service! We heard about Mr Ed's from a friend and it was a great experience. We tried the char broiled oysters, fish po boy, jambalaya pasta. All were delicious! The oyster came with awesome bread dressed in garlic which you can dip in the oyster oils. Yum! Also special mention to our waiter Leroy, he was super helpful in recommending food choices and he was bang on. Super friendly and personable and made us feel welcome. Will definitely visit again next time in the Big Easy

Mr. Ed's was pretty good. Didn't like the jambalaya, it had a weird wet texture. Red fish was good. Not sure about the stuffing. It was a bit mushy. Nachos were number 1. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. My sister had gumbo that she loved.

This is the place to go if you're looking for that combination of dive bar, seafood spot with some of the best crawfish in town in my opinion. We ate here later on in the evening since we got in town a bit later than planned, after we arrived in town and wanted to walk around looking for a spot we decided this was the spot. The drinks were awesome and fair priced, the oysters were fresh and delicious, the crawfish were seasoned to perfection, so good I ordered more since I was in the mood to keep drinking. This is the spot if you are staying anywhere close to get your belly full of delicious food.

The staff was very nice. The establishment was clean and it had 2 floors. The food was very good. If i would have eaten there on the first day, then I would have eaten there everyday and tried something different on the menu for the rest of the trip.

My stuffed redfish was good, but a touch overcooked so I can't really give it 5 stars. Came with a serving of jambalaya and veggies... Almost all zucchini and yellow squash. I normally don't like squash so I was very surprised to find that this was tasty and not overcooked to the point of being mushy like most places. My Old Fashioned was also tasty.

This place… I swear, I’m on a roll with these reviews. Of the three restaurants my girl and I have tried while here, this is by far and away our favorite. First off, the food. This was my first time trying alligator, as they have gator bites here. I didn’t know what to expect… and my expectations were SHATTERED. They weren’t just tasty… they were divine. Then we had fried catfish w/fries and redfish w/jambalaya… absolute flavor bombs. Just perfect. We’re 3 for 3 for restaurants we’ve tried in New Orleans so far. The hurricane drink I had was also very good. Our server, Brittany, was amazing. Super attentive, efficient and a whole vibe. Whatever y’all paying her… double it. Keep being great, you guys.

AMAZINGLY delicious seafood gumbo, bienville/rockefeller oysters, and banana fosters cream pie. OMG good! Service was also OUTSTANDING. Free dessert for our birthday man. Our meal for 3 was worth every penny spent.

Boquerones. Get the Boquerones. They’re crunchy, savory, then the acidity hits you and the green goddess dressing is light and bright. This is the work of a gifted chef. They also have very good oysters and cocktails. The interior ambiance is like a fancy submarine lounge. This place hits all the notes, but I think it matters what you order, and also the pace. Have an experience. I also hate to detract from the seafood here but the burger is also noticeably better than most of what NOLA offers in this department.

Sat at bar and had a wonderful experience. Great service and food. Boquerones were life changing and oysters were great. We actually left and realized our boquerones didnt come out (some computer glitch in house), so we went back and not only did we get the food but we were served a pair of free drinks. Came here by myself after landing in NOLA. Quiet but the food is fresh and good. Tried small plates, sweet and the wine. Like the name, the restaurant smell a little fishy. Not something negative, everything is fresh! Would come here again. Such a hidden gem. If you are a foodie and want a quiet place to enjoy. This is the place to go!

Just an outstanding experience all around. I was lucky enough to arrive in the nick of time to secure a dozen mixed oysters at happy hour prices (1/2 price!). All delicious. I also ordered the Seaworthy Roll which is comprised of boiled crawfish, chow chow and crawfish boil aioli on a toasted potato roll (much like a lobster roll). Absolute winner! The space within the restaurant has an interesting weathered quality with fireplaces and roughly whitewashed & cracked walls. A warm inviting place as though dining in someone’s home. I strongly encourage a visit. You’ll be glad you did!

My favorite oyster bar in NOLA. We’ve been here many times before. The oyster descriptions used to be so elaborate, but they are less detailed now. The options of west coast, east coast, or gulf oysters are awesome! We love their shucker’s choices of oysters. They also have a ton of specials nearly every day of the week! The frosé was delicious 😋😋

From 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday every week the Sidecar has half price oysters by the dozen. It is a special plate of selected oysters from around the country. They are the best I've ever had and I go each time I'm in New Orleans .

I absolutely loved my visit here. The atmosphere was welcoming, upbeat, and perfect to visit with friends. Love the oyster selection. Thrilled to find such quality and variety here. Take out was also great. Ordered the Manchego burger, which was incredible. Will definitely be back and looking forward to their Happy Hour Oyster selection. :)

Visited NO for the first time and this little spot became a favorite of mine very quickly. We stopped by to try the charbroiled oysters that we’ve heard so much about, and we were surprised to see they had 1/2 oyster special where we were able to get 6 random and 6 reef candy oysters for $17 a phenomenal deal. This restaurant also rewards Mastercard holders by rewarding them with a $10 coupon every time you spend $10 or more which is another amazing deal that adds up very quickly. We were so impressed that we even came back the next day to participate in trivia and we ended up taking 1st place and we won $50 free drink tab from the bar. Anytime I’m in NO I will be coming back!

The east coast oysters are great! Chicken sandwich was also very good. It's a beautiful patio with fans and AC.

We went to Sidecar for Brunch and the outside patio is really nice! Should you want to sit on the patio, ask to sit in the direction of one of the fans, otherwise it’ll be unbearably hot. The food was fine. It wasn’t life changing but I feel for the price point. They do have a selection of oysters from different waters around the country, but be ready with your wallet, they’re pricey. They were priced high enough that the people at our table who originally wanted oysters opted for other things. Ordering is done via scanning a QR code with your cell phone, and that’s when you both pay, and tip. I do not think there’s an option to pay with cash. The “server” is really a food runner. They don’t take your food order and you have to go to the bar yourself if you want a drink. They didn’t ask if we needed refills or other food- it’s up to you to handle that one your own. The tipping suggestions started at 20%, which I found to be high, considering. The side salad was really great. It may have been the culinary highlight of the meal. The decor is really lush and beautiful.

I give 3 stars because my alligator and crawfish pasta was super good. My husband order a burger he said that it was just ok. My daughter got the honey chicken sandwich her bread was burn. The chicken was over crispy in the outside. The fries in both orders were cold. Pork belly appetizer was good and tender. They did remake my daughter bun and change her fries for fresh ones. Price was Almost $90. We were the firsts ones to get there then other people arrive after us and everyone one got there food before us

The ambiance and atmosphere are really nice. The restaurant has tons of bourbon on display hahaha hence Bourbon House but gives it that classic steak and seafood house vibe. However, the main downside was the lack of service, and I can see why some reviews are low. The food was just okay—nothing special. We came here with a bachelorette party on our last evening in town, planning to splurge a bit. Unfortunately, the service was pretty much non-existent. The maître d’ was nowhere to be found; I saw her vaping in the bathroom while changing the toilet paper because there was none at all. Our server was friendly and quick to introduce herself but never returned to check on us or take our order properly. I even asked for bread, and she never brought it. It took a while to get drinks, and overall, the food was mediocre. Despite the disappointing service, my group of gals made the experience much better with their fun energy. Honestly, I’d probably pass on this spot next time. It has a nice vibe, but the service and food didn’t live up to expectations

Loved the vibe of this restaurant and it right on Bourbon Street! Ordered the boudin balls, shrimp & grits and shared oysters with crab. Boudin appetizer was good, shrimp & grits were one of the best I've had so far in NOLA and oysters were really good. I would definitely come back again. We sat at the bar and had laughs with people... it was a nice vibe.

Fabulous oyster bar!! Fresh raw oysters here are top notch, I was walking in and seated at the bar area by myself as a first come first served basis at the bar. Everything was amazing I would recommend to everyone, hands down.

What a fabulous restaurant. Our beautiful and polite waitress Ezzie was so helpfully and assisted us in ordering a delicious lunch. The Corn Chowder with crab meat was delicious, as well as, the Gumbo. The Charbroiled Oysters were outstanding. I would definitely recommend you coming here. Walked in tonight (randomly) for a pre-dinner drink + appetizer and sat at the oyster bar. I'm just gonna say if you make it on a night that Chad is shucking oysters, you are set. With so many different options, it’s perfect for when you want to try a little bit of everything. We ordered the falafel platter to-go, and it was fantastic — the falafel was crispy and flavorful, and the tzatziki dip was creamy, cool, and refreshing. Overall, this is a solid spot for drinks and dinner when you're looking for a relaxed, enjoyable night out.

A bevy of different food choices. The Asian selections were very tasty. It was not too busy when we were there, so it was pleasant. I could see it being a little loud with a lot of people in there.

My husband and I recently visited the St. Roch Market and absolutely fell in love with both the food and the amazing staff! We highly recommend trying the Dubai Cookie from Olive, Cheese & Crackers it was absolutely delicious, and the owner was such a delight to chat with. We also suggest grabbing some oysters from Miles at The Salted Pearl, they were fantastic!

Lovely establishment with several different food options from Thai, Jamaican, Cuban, Sushi, Oysters. A great inexpensive place where you can sample from a variety!

We absolutely loved St. Roch Market. We ate at Lin’s sushi and the Burmese food place right beside it. It was amazing. We can’t wait to go back. Next time we’ll hit up happy hour for $1 oysters, and for sure try Junkanoo Bahamian food. So many great options in a nice atmosphere. Service is incredible with many warm people. Love the St. Roch district and this market is one of the highlights.

Off the beaten path in New Orleans. But if you wind up in here you can get everything you are looking for. Parking, good food and AC. You need the AC if you are in New Orleans. Make sure to stop in here if you are in New Orleans.

We had a large group so this was perfect with a variety of vendors to choose from. The Bau was amazing with chicken. The Pho with roast beef was so good. The whole crab po boy was too salty. The fries with white sauce were the best thing EVER!!! Get them! You won't be sorry. Yummy!

This place was so nice and cute! The food tasted so good, above expectations. Everything on the menu sounded good, I had limited time to eat though. Blue crab pasta here is the best I ever had and the stuffed flounder. Never had flounder before but this is definitely worth coming back for. The place was pretty clean especially for the end of the day and the servers were super friendly and helpful. We got there close to closing time but the kitche was still open so they let us order and we quickly ate to not hold them back for too long. All the food was perfectly cooked, we took home leftovers and finished them too. It is such a cool restaurant by the river too, there is a nice view of the river from inside and also outdoor sitting. 100/10 would recommend

For starters, the Char grilled oysters and fried onions rings were absolutely right perfect. My oyster poboy was good and my cheese grits were excellent. I think they used some type of cheddar that made them tangy. but tasty. It took a while for the food to come out, but it was worth the wait. The hostess, waitress and scenery was absolutely awesome. I will be back!

I only suggest this place for their happy hour and during sailing season when they have races on Wednesdays. Everything tastes the same imo and they use wild oysters which are dredged. But it’s a novelty spot when someone’s in town and wants to see the lake.

Go for the Happy Hour specials!!! So much good food at a cheap price! Get the Blue Crab Dip, raw and charbroiled oysters, the calamari, and fried pickles. Atmosphere is wonderful and our server Peter was awesome!!!

Absolutely outstanding experience! This place has made my must eat list for whenever I’m in New Orleans. Was greeted warmly and seated immediately. It’s right on the river so nice views of the water and the boats. Started with the steamed crab claws and the fried crab claws. We liked both because they were so flavorful and they gave much larger portions than most restaurants give. The crab cakes were good, but not our favorite. The chargrilled blue crabs were amazing!!!! Absolutely loved! Full of flavor, cheese butter and garlic. The best thing of all were the boiled blue crabs!!! Lord whatever they boiled them in needs to sold. It was a perfect blend of seasonings and spices and the crabs were large, delicious and full of meat. Every bite was bursting with juices. Of course they have a full bar and wine selection. Our server, Ashley A was amazing. She made sure a drink didn’t get low or a tad of trash built up. She was on it and made us feel really welcome. They had live music when we were on the way out and had we had more time that would have been fun. I would definitely recommend and return.

Great event space. All the food was on point and a betrer version of the Louisiana fare we desired for our event. Derrick made everything easy and a great experience for our group.

Look, this isn't 5-star dining. I'll give you that. But it has so much charm and history that it more than makes up for it. I love oysters especially after a really hot and humid St. Patty's parade in Metairie. Between our group of four, we had no complaints and those that had never been loved the atmosphere and feel the place gives. Cozy and comfortable. Real people and real food. We had tons oysters, fried calamari, gumbo, garlic bread, and spaghetti. A couple things: 1. You pay in cash only, but it's okay because they do have an ATM. 2. The bathroom is in the back past the kitchens. It's not a big deal, just walk on past. The chefs are friendly.

Casamento's is literally a step back in time, a rare gem that was established in 1919 by two Italian immigrant brothers, a tradition carried forward by the 4 family generations that followed. The brilliant foresight of the original Casamento brothers in using Italian tile for the decor, floor to ceiling, which remains intact over 100 years later. Wonderfully simple, but most excellent menu with very tasty grilled oysters the Loaf sandwiches cut by hand from the loaf, hence the name. The fried seafood, oysters, soft shell crabs, catfish, shrimp, etc. is lightly breaded, always my preference. You really feel like part of the family here even if its your first ever visit. Come often as its literally an original.

Old School New Orleans as I remember it, from my first visit back in the early nineties. I returned for the oysters and spaghetti, yeah I left completely enamored with the oyster stew and one of the best cup of coffee in New Orleans and that saying something. As magazine Street turns into an open-air mall of expensive clothing boutiques, this is a reminder that New Orleans was once the funkiest of American cities we're the best inexpensive food.

This place is incredible. Classic hole in the wall local NOLA joint and it’s amazing! Staff is incredibly kind, gluten free fried seafood and it’s amazing. The chargrilled oysters were so good we had to order another plate. Crab and calamari were so good as well. Fresh horseradish was the perfect sauce mixed with the hot vinegar. Can’t wait to return here.

Definitely a popular restaurant. When we arrived on a Friday evening around 6 pm we were met with a small line of folks ahead of us. The speed of the line went fairly slower than expected. The small, old fashioned and almost antique feeling cafeteria-like restaurant had each table filled. It's a small, divey joint that transports you back to the early days. Subway tiles cover the walls in a classic style and are rumored to be imported from Italy. I love dive bars and divey restaurants. This place had just a touch too much of that for my taste. The restaurant was moving from divey, to dirty, and almost, unkept. I am a huge fan charbroiled oysters and had to try Casamento's restaurant as one of the more popular and famous places for oysters in NOLA. We ordered two dozen charbroiled ($24.75 ea) (one for each of us), two beers and a side of coleslaw ($2 for a 2 oz serving). Our server was friendly and our order came out promptly. These oysters didn't have any charbroiled taste. They lacked greatly in flavor. The cheese wasn't melted, the oysters were warm, not hot. Overall, they were quite disappointing from a place that are "known" for their oysters. These oysters were more like baked oysters that came from an under-heated oven rather than charbroiled over flames. The coleslaw was simple and tasted as expected but in a smaller than expected portion for the price. Overall, Casamento's may have a place in the history books of serving oysters in NOLA and maybe they serve up a decent order of raw oysters on the half shell. However, as far as charbroiled oysters, there are many other establishments in the local area that serve up a much tastier plate.

To me, there is nothing quite as cool as a great family-owned restaurant that has been running for generations. New Orleans has quite a few, and tiny Casamento’s on Magazine at Napoleon is one. Founded in 1919, the original Casamento couple lived upstairs, as did a few later generations. You can easily meet members of the 4th generation working there now, and the 5th generation is coming up now. Casamento’s has a small menu of delicious fried seafood. We had the trout and the shrimp, and both were fabulous. Their French fries are properly fresh-cut, and the coleslaw is the creamy sweet variety - delicious. I don’t know who originated the charbroiled oysters dish, and lots of folks swear by the ones at Drago’s in the riverfront Hilton. My money is on Casamento’s. Large, plump, fantastic. The staff is warm and welcoming and loyal. I’d go there all the time if I lived in NOLA!

Best just admire this place from the outside. It ain’t happening anymore. From the outside you think you’ve found a treasure from 60 years ago and indeed this place might have been good 35 years ago. I remember simple family places that served the Best food. But this was not good none of it . overcooked grilled oysters, the fried oysters of no particular flavor and the awful spaghetti and meatballs. The meatball was ok but the sauce onion and sugar hardly cooked. Atmosphere - besides the old worn out tables and chairs - two tv’s one in each little room. - so no escaping them. But at least it wasn’t too loud. The oyster soup tasted good but was watery and had maybe three oysters in it. So I gave two stars. And Cash only? Hmmm. Why would that be?

Oysters, crab beignets, and salad. Can’t go wrong! Our server was super sweet and gave our pup some water on this hot and steamy May evening. Will be back for 75 cent oysters on Monday nights.

Everything we ordered was executed perfectly. I had the BBQ shrimp and cheese grits and it was the star of a great group of dishes. If you eat one place in New Orleans, which shouldn't be the case, I would recommend you eat here.

Great Monday oyster special - one of the best deals in Nola. Focused but excellent and interesting menu. Got raw and chargrilled oysters, the coconut crusted snapper w/ crawfish étouffée (must get), the jambalaya and the fried oyster Caesar salad. The salad was a bit too salty, but everything else was perfectly seasoned. The snapper dish was a perfect New Orleans combo. Super friendly service in a relaxed informal space. Will def be back!

One of the best places to have food in NOLA. We went on a Monday and had the 75c deal on oysters. We ended up having more than two dozens. The crawfish pupusas are a must try as well.

Great restaurant. Ditto to all the other five-star reviews. Not too many times I've eaten at the same restaurant twice in the same day but that's what happened today. .75 oysters all day on Monday and a great happy hour. Blake does a great job running this place and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Bobby and his energy when I called yesterday to find out about the place. Bekah was awesome this afternoon. World class mocktail and nice as can be. Do yourself a favor and get here any day of the week. Worth the drive.

Wow- those Blue Crab Beignets were out of this world! Easily the best thing we ate while at NOLA. This place was recommended by Derek from Cajun Encounters, and we knew we had to stop by after our tour. We were not disappointed. The bottomless mimosas were great- served in separate pitchers so you can pour it just how you like it. The service was excellent. Amazing experience!

We had a dozen grilled oysters that were incredible, the coconut crusted red snapper and the beef short ribs with grits. Everything was amazing. Our waitress, Nicole, was amazing and couldn’t have been nicer. Everything was served quickly. We never waited for a drink. We’re from Oklahoma, but if we lived here, we would be here all the time

Definitely not what I expected for a $300 meal. The food was very good, I have zero complaints on the quality, but I could have gotten the same thing for less at several other restaurants in New Orleans. It was not a $86 filet IMO. $15 for four stalks of asparagus was a little much. The staff was very personable and attentive, and easy to talk to. Multiple staff asked if we had allergies or dietary restrictions, which I highly appreciate. My reason for less than five stars is the fact that we were offered a glass of complimentary champagne for our anniversary celebration, then was charged $28 for said "complimentary" champagne. My biggest complaint is the atmosphere. For the Four Seasons, I expected a fine dining experience. I looked online where it stated the dress code was business casual, so that is what we went with. When I walked in I felt so overdressed. Every single other patron was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, with the exception of one gentleman wearing a tank top. It just wasn't the atmosphere I was expecting. If I do return, I'll be sure to break out my dress flip flops, and not accept anything "complimentary."

Went there for a farewell and birthday dinner. Everything was amazing, The food is amazing, i like the crawfish Gratin. And especially our server, she’s amazing and generous. Handling a party of 10 must be challenging but she lit that night! ❤️ Thanks Pam!

Fabulous staff and hospitality, fabulous food. The burger is just my favorite. The environment is a great relaxing and chill. The feta and honey dip is a fave and the crème brûlée is the best presentation in the area.

We traveled to NOLA for our Anniversary and made reservations (last minute/day of but was able to get a reservation for 2 at 745pm). At first it was a little confusing locating the restaurant (it’s in the Four Seasons) as well as the correct elevator lol. However the view and atmosphere was superb. The food was delicious… our waiter (i forgot her name) but she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She accommodated my request (i mainly like juice in gumbo with very little meat), as well as something sweet and special for our Anniversary. Well, She knocked it out of the park with my requests. Food: My husband has the salmon and it melted in his mouth, very well seasoned (it’s the best salmon we ever had). He also enjoyed the Juliet Old Fashion. I enjoyed a well seasoned ribeye steak with a twice baked potato. The spinach with garlic was average. This was our first time but it won’t be the last time… 5 Stars.

I expected more! This place is amazing, beautiful location, very fancy and great service. But I wasn’t impressed with the dishes I tried, basically there were no seasoning and no flavor. Especially for New Orleans standards! The appetizers and the desserts 🍮 were very good. I’m planning to go again to try other dishes. The view of this place is amazing and the bar downstairs is also worth the visit!

We love staying at the Four Seasons and Chemin never disappoints. The oysters are fresh and delicious. Cocktails are well made. Randall and Renee behind the bar are stellar. Food is outstanding!

From the Le Labo soap in the bathroom to the artwork on the walls, I knew this would be a great stop on my trip. The service wasn’t quite as warm as I’d expected given the southern hospitality reputation, but they were efficient. Cocktails and mocktails were fantastic, and the oysters and beef tartare completely stole the show. Finished with an espresso crème brûlée that was the perfect ending. I’ll definitely be back!

I just love this place. Been many times on multiple trips. Bartenders are always so engaging and very much about keeping you company and telling you about their drinks and oysters. On this trip, a bartender with pig tails and a cap made my time so special by telling me the back story on the gin and the oysters. Fun, smiley, knowledgeable, and just welcoming. This will always be a stop for me on my New Orleans trips. And happy hour on Mon-Thu 3-6pm has great prices and fun stuff.

We stopped into this small raw bar tucked inside Jackson Square, not really knowing what to expect — and wow, were we blown away. It turned out to be one of the best oyster bars we’ve ever been to. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. The oysters were fantastic and the cocktails were on point… but the real star of the show? Their Little Gem Salad. My fiancée has not stopped talking about it since — she said if she were ever on death row, that would be her final meal request. It’s that unforgettable. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and go. This place is a hidden gem with flavors you’ll be raving about long after you leave.

This is a special place, if you’re lucky enough to find this! Beautiful surf and turf plates, highlight New Orleans with a touch of New England. Order some sparkling wine and oysters and follow up with the lobster roll and the bone marrow bc why not?

Anna Lee is a real one! I stumbled across this restaurant randomly just walking around looking for Cafe Du Monde. Drinks are soooo good here and the food is equally on point. Service was excellent, highly recommended!

Great little place in DT new orleans. Giving it a 5 cause the oyster guy was great and hooked us up real good. Quite small but watching the man shuck the oysters is a full experience and you get a little lesson about the oysters too. Drinks were good and staff was great. Only issue was the beef tartar was lemony or maybe poppie seed which i personally don’t like.

We went in for some cocktails and loved all the ones we tried. The bartenders are fantastic. Lovely atmosphere and high quality drinks.

Seriously impressed. The food was delicious, but the service was what really blew us away. Our waiter had an incredible memory, perfectly recalling our entire order despite all our questions and special requests—all without a notepad! This place was amazing. John the bartender was very welcoming and social. He made sure everyone at his bar was a conversation. The food was phenomenal. Had the blackened steak with rice and greens. Chefs kiss. And the bread pudding with the side of ice cream was heaven. The couple next to me ordered the craziest crab drink lol thank you for letting me take a picture!

Our visit was 6 Oct, party of three for dinner. We ate upstairs. Our waiter was a delight, helpful, professional. All the staff encountered was a pleasure. Our food was very well cooked & tasty. Pictures attached. Would come back again. Place was recommended by Bluegreen Vacations staff & Mardi Gras museum that we had visited before eating.

The food was absolutely fantastic, but Damon our waiter was even better. He recommended the special and it was absolutely delicious. All the waiters had to try it before it went on the menu so they could tell you how good it was, and he wasn’t lying! If you’re coming here for a birthday: ask to be sat at Damon’s table. He was so lovely and kind. The southern hospitality is unmatched and Damon is a perfect shining example of that ❤️

Oceana Grill quickly became one of my favorite spots in New Orleans. The food was absolutely delicious — I had the sampler plate with gumbo, red beans and rice, jambalaya, and the crawfish étouffée, and everything was bursting with flavor. You can tell locals come here too because it was packed, yet the service was still fast, friendly, and on point. The prices were very reasonable for being just off Bourbon Street, and the atmosphere was lively without feeling chaotic. One of the best meals I’ve had in the city — highly recommend!

We were referred to come to this particular restaurant by The HideOut. Very clean and a great atmosphere. Our server Cherika J., was extremely helpful and courteous. She is an example of excellent customer service. She suggested food items from the menu. Which, we ordered Fried Fish Platter and Blackened Salmon on House Salad. The food was served heat hot. What she suggested, the food was delicious with lots of flavor. I did order the Charbroiled Oysters as an appetizer which we had to inquire about. The server immediately went to the kitchen to serve it. However, the manager came to the table to ask why I was returning the Charbroiled oysters. I stated that first and foremost it was not the servers error because I would have sent it back even if I received prior to my entree, because there was too much butter floating on them. Also, it was not the servers fault. She was extremely professional and an asset to the business due to suggestive selling and providing excellent customer service. We will be back when we're back in town

This is a busy restaurant close yo Bourbon street but the food is very tasty. Attentive service too! I really enjoyed the fried gator bites with remoulade sauce, first time trying this dish and it was great! The ribs were also very tasty. Prices were reasonable considering the touristy location.

Deanie’s Seafood is a true New Orleans classic. From the moment we walked in, the lively atmosphere and friendly Southern hospitality make us feel right at home. The food is the real star here. The seafood is fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The fried platters are golden and crispy without being greasy, I had the shrimp platter and I couldn't finish all the shrimp! So needless to say the portions are generous enough to satisfy any appetite. Whether you’re grabbing lunch with friends or settling in for a hearty dinner, Deanie’s consistently delivers a satisfying New Orleans dining experience.

Christina was our server and did an excellent job answering our questions about the menu and the complimentary white potatoes served since we had never experienced that before. She was very attentive. The meals we selected were delicious!!! Totally understand the restaurant's popularity. It was well worth the 20 minutes we waited for a table to become available. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Receiving complementary potatoes at the table instead of bread is a unique and great idea. Those little spicy potatoes are delicious. I wanted to try basically everything on the menu and would have done so, had the waiter not seemed impatient. He was polite, but you could tell very busy, and not the most accommodating. Anyway, the food was great, as were the drinks.

All I have to say is that I fell in love with the barbecue shrimp. I ended up going with the half order and some crawfish etouffee. This is all I needed. I did try the fish as well. A strong drink was also ordered 👌🏻. The cheeseburger and hamburger also looked and smelled great. The ambience is right in the middle of the French Quarter. We went during the Saints vs Patriots game and the area was packed. I'm definitely coming back here again.

Jitu truly made my visit to Deanie’s Seafood unforgettable! From the moment I sat down, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was incredible — especially the seafood gumbo and BBQ shrimp — absolutely delicious! Thank you, Jitu, for your kindness and for creating such a warm, memorable dining experience. I wasn’t really impressed with this place. The food was just okay—not bad, but nothing that I’d rave about. The prices felt way too high for what you get, and the service was on the rushed side, which didn't help the experience at all. Honestly, there wasn’t anything that really stood out to make me want to come back. The vibe of the place is nice and spacious, but that’s about the only highlight. I did enjoy the complimentary potatoes, though—they were actually pretty good! But overall, it just didn’t do it for me.

Jojo our waitress was amazing! Great friendly vibes and quick service. We are from Texas and asked a local where to go for dinner, in which they said Deanie’s and we are so glad we came here. The food was quick, fresh, and delicious!! The margarita was also a really good one. Super happy with our choice to dine here. Ask for Jojo the next time you stop by!

We came in around 4 and we were the only customers in the restaurant. The service was amazing, from the host to the waiter. Most of the food was great, but we did feel that the fried oysters were extremely lackluster. However, the rest of the food was good! Just needed a little bit more seasoning here and there!

We had a nice experience at Red Fish Grill. The food was good, though not amazing. The gumbo was absolutely delicious, but the alligator boudin balls were a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was kind and professional but on the slower side. We went for an early dinner and were seated right away, but there were several large parties, which probably affected the speed. The location was perfect by being right in the heart of all the famous NOLA action, making it an easy and fun stop while exploring the city. Overall, a solid spot with good flavors and a welcoming atmosphere.

Red Fish Grill in New Orleans is an absolute gem in the heart of the French Quarter. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt both elegant and welcoming, perfectly blending the lively energy of Bourbon Street with an upscale dining experience. We started with appetizers that set the tone for the entire meal. The Honey-Crystal Shrimp—a dozen Gulf shrimp flash-fried to perfection and tossed in their signature Crystal hot sauce honey BBQ—were unforgettable, especially paired with the housemade blue cheese dressing and crumbles. Equally impressive were the Alligator Boudin Balls, a true Louisiana treat, complemented by a tangy 3-mustard sauce and seasonal pepper jelly. Both starters were bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. For entrées, every dish was a standout. The Wood Grilled Redfish with Louisiana Crabmeat, cooked over oak wood, was rich and flavorful, perfectly balanced by sautéed tasso ham, roasted mushrooms, English peas, and crispy Pontalba potatoes, all tied together with a silky lemon butter sauce and topped generously with fresh crabmeat. The Pasta Jambalaya delivered that classic New Orleans comfort, packed with andouille sausage, grilled chicken, and fresh vegetables tossed in a spicy roasted tomato cream sauce. For something hearty and indulgent, the Bacon Jam Burger was a winner—juicy, smoky, and perfectly complemented by the sweet-savory bacon jam, served on a soft brioche bun with the crunch of Zapp’s potato chips. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the entire evening even more enjoyable. Red Fish Grill manages to capture the spirit of New Orleans cuisine with a modern touch, and every bite showcased fresh, local ingredients. If you’re visiting the French Quarter, Red Fish Grill is a must-visit. Delicious food, warm service, and an atmosphere that feels both celebratory and refined, it doesn’t get much better than this.

We were in a group of 10 and had a great time here. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was good. The shrimp Gumbo was very good and several recommend the double chocolate bread pudding. The place also has a back door to the Hyatt and the Hard Rock Cafe.

Me and a women’s group dined at this establishment this past weekend and I must say, as we waited to get our food, other patrons were being served expeditiously fast. The hub was fast paced. Yet, we still sat there, enjoying conversations for over an hour before the manager saw my perplexed face and came over to see what was the matter. He quickly retrieved some bread and refreshed our water. He informed us our meal would be out shortly. When the meal arrived, some of the orders were wrong and the food was cold. Let’s say, when we were finally served, most of all of the patrons had eaten, paid and left. I wish establishments wouldn’t show such bias in their patrons as this establishment did this past weekend.

The food here is absolutely delicious and worth the visit. I had the Red Fish, and it was cooked perfectly—flavorful, fresh, and downright amazing. My wife had the Gulf Fish, which was equally outstanding. Our server, Ike, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, his assistant struggled with basic tasks, which caused a few minor service hiccups. One big caution: check your bill carefully. We noticed charges for extras we didn’t order. For example, the menu listed a pour of bourbon at $11, but I was charged $17 simply because I wanted it neat. They also tacked on a charge for ice cream with my dessert, even though it wasn’t requested. Speaking of dessert, I was very disappointed in the Double Chocolate Bread Pudding. Despite the hype, it was dry and bland. The ice cream on top seemed more like a fix for the dryness than a true pairing. Save your money and skip this dessert—it’s not worth the price. In short: Fantastic seafood entrées, great main server, but watch your bill and skip the bread pudding

During our recent long weekend to New Orleans my wife and I had time for one sit down dinner. Based on menu and location we chose the Red Fish Grill. We felt safe that it was a Brennan family restaurant. We arrived early and were told we’d have to wait and were directed to the bar. Based on other reviews we had seen we knew this was their standard tourist move. When hostesses switched we reproached and were immediate seated. For appetizers we shared their famous BBQ oysters which are dressed in bbq sauce and melted blue cheese. For me this was the highlight of the meal. For the main course wife had the smoked redfish with crawfish which she loved. I made the mistake of ordering a fried “seafood platter”. It was greasy and the breading didn’t stick well to the food. This was on me as I should have ordered a fresh catch. I enjoyed a bottled beer and the wife had a nice cocktail. We were interesting in the chocolate bread pudding for dessert, but we had been eating all day and were too full to try it. Overall, nice place, good service, but the food is hit or miss and relatively expensive.

We had 2 servers, thinking we would get great service. No ma’am. Service was slow and staff wasn’t on point. The suggested items was not to my liking. I asked for an alternative. Management asked if I put some seasoning on it offered before granting my request. Absurd. They reused the happy birthday decor for the bread pudding while celebrating birthdays. Don’t get me wrong the bread pudding was good. I wasn’t really impressed by the service to make me want to come back. My friends enjoyed their food. We asked for separate checks and that was an ordeal. I wouldn’t suggest this restaurant unless you get different service.

I ordered the fried fish meal with greens and finished with their bread pudding, and let me tell you everything was really good. The fish was perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection, the greens were flavorful and tender, and that bread pudding……. Out of this world. Sweet and rich. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making the whole experience even better. You could feel the southern hospitality in every interaction. If you’re in New Orleans and want an authentic taste of the city paired with great service and a fun Bourbon Street vibe, this is the spot

Went it for a quick bite while it was raining. The Shrimp Pasta Alfredo was worth it especially when the shrimp was blackened. I had a couple drinks the hurricane & I believe their new drink. To top it off I got the Kentucky Bourbon pecan pie. This restaurant wasn't on my list but I'm glad I walked by & gave it a chance. Definitely will be coming back soon for that bread pudding & redfish cookery.

This was such a wonderful find! It is a simple atmosphere with friendly staff and a quaint atmosphere. The food was really, really delicious! The jambalaya was by far the best I've ever had. Super flavorful and not overly spicy. The gumbo and the etouffee we're both good as well. We will certainly be back!

Right on Bourbon Street, service was fairly quick for a holiday weekend. We ordered the crab cakes, taste of New Orleans trio and the bread pudding. The bread pudding so yummy we cam back a different night to just get bread pudding for dessert!

*12 October 2025* Visiting from Atlanta. My Shrimp Creole was sooooo good! My oh my. Seasoned to perfection. It hit the spot. It was warm and savory and made me ready for the bed! Lol. The bread that came with it was soft and warm, too. I would totally come here again next time I'm in NOLA. Our server was kind. But I will say that when we were ready to pay, it took a good while to flag her down. I didn't order any cocktails, but next time I will.

I came for the crab cakes, which are amazing. No fillers at all, which is a plus to me. I order the cajun fries with blackened alligator, 10/10. Watermelon margarita nice and strong! Will definitely be coming back the next time I am in Nola! This place did not disappoint. Not to mention the friendly host that not only welcomed me but other customers in with a nice warm welcoming. My server was amazing with her warm welcoming and fast delivery of service.

I think the worst frustration for a customer when going to a restaurant is not getting the service they requested and, more than that, being surprised when it's time to pay the bill. I went into this restaurant because I wanted to try the signature dish Chicken and Andouille Gumbo. That's what caught my attention on the menu outside. The server greeted me warmly but couldn't give me clear explanations about the menu. In fact, the menu at my table was different from the one at the restaurant door. I wanted Chicken and Andouille Gumbo, but I didn't see it on the menu at my table. Even so, the attendant said she understood what I wanted, but she didn't seem to know the menu because she said she wanted a salad and there were no options on the menu.The dish was well presented but had no beans and sausage, you could count how many there were. It was more like a thin soup, but the flavor was okay. I ordered a Caesar salad and it was one of the worst I've ever had, no dressing, no grated cheese, and the croutons looked old. It seemed like it was made in a hurry and without any desire. When the bill came, it described a dish I never ordered, which was something like a "Gumbo Bowl" or something like that. As I said, it's bad to have surprises. I've never ordered this dish, and the price was different from what I saw on the menu outside. I definitely wouldn't go back to this place.

I ordered the crispy fried oyster BLT po-boy. It was delicious and I loved the bread from the local bakery it was served on. The fries were well cooked too. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We ate upstairs and enjoyed the view and hearing the street performers below. Our server was very kind and did a great job.

Great experience! The Seafood Pescatore was insanely good!!! Our friends got the tortellini and they said they really enjoyed it. My wife got the fried oysters and she didn’t care for it much. Super impressed. Would return!

Delicious food, wonderful service, great atmosphere! We had the new orleans sampler and the blue crab appetizer. Do NOT pass up the blue crab appetizer, it was so good. Great broth and tons of crab claws (already de-shelled) easy to eat and delicious. The location is cool and the place is beautiful. Stopped by for lunch or dinner, portions were large.

I stopped in for a mimosa here and it was excellent! Brene was my server and she was very attentive. I didn't catch the man's name at the front door but he was a ray of sunshine! Such a nice man! Before I even decided to come inside, he saw that I was so hot and trying to cool off, he said "come in and cool down" that was so kind, as I was not use to the humidity. If I hadn't just had a meal I would have definitely eaten there, as the food that was coming out looked fantastic! Highly recommend this great little place.

Spinach and Artichoke dip, Crawfish Etouffe on the New Orleans Sampler and the Oyster Platter was delicious! Our server John was amazingly pleasant as well! I wish I had of known that the Etouffe was that delicious I would have gotten more!

We went to Royal House for dinner and had an amazing dinning. Started with Chargrilled Oysters topped with Parmesan butter cheese amazing! Then had Grilled with a butter garlic sauce, served with garlic French Fries it was a tad salty but delicious. Also had Blackened Redfish Served with vegetables and cajun jambalaya. We highly recommend going!

Made reservations on a Monday night , the place was pretty busy. Had a waiter that named Paul that initially gave me an attitude when I asked to have a drink made a certain way which is the reason for the loss of a star. We had the brussel sprouts, bread , pork belly , and some oysters. Plus dessert. The food was all very good. The bread was just a loaf of very plain bread but the brussel sprouts were amazing and so was the pork belly. My fiance loved the oysters and the desserts, which was basically a s'mores cake. She absolutely loved it. Also the drinks did come out pretty good. I would say this is a place you should visit if your around.

Had a variety of oysters, the Leidenheimer loaf, the smoked trout dip, blue corn and crab bisque, and the pork schnitzel. All of the food was good, but I felt the value was all over the board. The oysters were fairly priced, as was the trout dip which was a generous portion. Service was adequate. I expect more attention to detail when dining in this type of restaurant. When we run out of accoutrements before the dish has been finished, we should be offered more. I do not mind team service, however, I think too much was overlooked because of it. The ambience is loud. Unfortunately, we were seated near the kitchen, and when it's a full house, it's challenging to hear each other.

OMG - EVERYTHING on this menu is amazing! The folks who work there Are so helpful, kind and knowledgeable! Menu and drink selections recommendations every thing you could possibly ask them they are wonderfully helpful helpful. I understand why because they work in a great place and the food in the atmosphere and the camaraderie among the staff is amazing. I would work there. Thank you!

I came here with two friends during my first trip to New Orleans. Our waiter was wonderful — such a kind, polite young man who made us feel welcome right away. I ordered a cup of gumbo, and it was delicious. The flavor was rich and seasoned perfectly, and I was impressed by how much meat was in it. Unfortunately, that’s where the good part ended. My friends ordered the BBQ oysters, and they were honestly not good at all. When we first sat down, we asked the host if they had chargrilled oysters — you know, the kind that come out sizzling with butter, garlic, and parmesan on top. He said their oysters were amazing, so we decided to try them. When the plate came out, there were only four oysters, and no one mentioned how many came in an order. That was surprising and a bit disappointing. But the real issue was the taste — the topping had a strange, smoky, burnt barbecue flavor mixed with breadcrumbs that just didn’t work. It was overpowering and completely took away from the taste of the oyster itself. Overall, the service and gumbo were great, but the oysters were a total miss. Maybe some people like that flavor, but it just wasn’t for us. An honest deuces

Escargot and bone marrow, oysters, duck for the main. All were excellent. Bread pudding for dessert... highly recommend you just copy this order. Papa Doc was a great cocktail too. Our dual servers had some issues with keeping drink orders correct and forgot a few too, but that was really the only downside. Beautiful spot, lively atmosphere. Will return when I return to NOLA!

Came by for lunch since it was across our hotel. Ordered the Beet salad with added blue crab, gumbo and shrimp and grits. Presentation and taste was ok but forgettable. Price was on the high side for the quality of food. Plates could have been warmer…

The atmosphere is cool the service was attentive without hovering over you. The food is okay. I only had dozen oysters they were good but nothing to write home about... My buddy got a burger said it was over cooked and dry his exact words were what a boring burger...I have to tip my hat to acme they have fresher oysters and they are litter on the pockets.

The service is beyond excellent. The food is amazing, every bite is a true awakening of senses. We left so full... We ordered the fish of the day, the gumbo, hush puppies and brussel sprouts... Those brussel sprouts are to die for... I also had a cocktail, can't remember the name of it, but it was intriguing on paper, with the Dill... It did not disappoint. Don't hesitate, go... Go hungry.

We went to Pêche on a Wednesday night with a reservation at 5:30 PM. Based on our research, this is considered one of the best restaurants in NOLA. While we appreciated our visit, we believe there are many other restaurants in the city offering a similar experience. We started with two half-dozens of oysters. One variety was excellent, but the other wasn’t quite to our taste. Next, we ordered the steak tartare and the smoked tuna dip. The steak tartare was good, but the smoked tuna dip was far too salty. It was served with a pile of salted crackers — which felt a bit underwhelming, especially given the restaurant’s price point. We expected something a bit more refined. We then had the seafood gumbo and the jumbo shrimp. We highly recommend the jumbo shrimp dish — it was excellent. For dessert, we shared the carrot sticky toffee pudding, which was also fantastic. Overall, we found the meal to be quite pricey for what we got. The service, however, was great. While Pêche is a solid option, we wouldn’t say it’s a must-visit when in New Orleans.

Peche Seafood Grill in New Orleans has a relatively spacious and comfortable layout. We were lucky to get a booth in the corner by the kitchen, which made the experience very private and quiet. I think sitting closer to other tables might make the experience feel less enjoyable, given how busy the restaurant can get. Our waiter was excellent — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food overall was good, with a few standout dishes. The steak tartare was my favorite — easily the best I’ve ever had — and the dessert was also excellent. The pasta dish was very memorable and flavorful as well. Some other dishes, however, didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The fried oyster salad and the crab fried rice didn’t match my palate, and the fish sticks were overly greasy, with too much breading and oil, which made them difficult to enjoy after a few bites. Overall, Peche offers some truly standout dishes and a nice dining atmosphere, but not everything will appeal to everyone. If you get a quiet corner booth and pick the right dishes, it’s a very enjoyable experience.

Came here for brunch and was completely blown away by how good everything was. The service was excellent from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Our server made sure coffee mugs were always full (mine was refilled three times without even asking), and every dish arrived perfectly timed and beautifully plated. We started with the Brightside oysters, which were fresh, briny, and served with a clean, balanced mignonette that complemented rather than overpowered their flavor. The seafood gumbo soup followed and was outstanding—rich, layered, and comforting, with just enough spice to warm the palate without overwhelming it. The Brussels sprouts with chili vinegar were a surprise favorite: crispy on the outside, tender inside, and coated in a tangy heat that made them addictive. The spicy ground shrimp and noodles delivered a great punch of flavor, perfectly seasoned and full of texture. The brown rice congee with chili oil and fried garlic was another standout—simple but deeply satisfying, with a silky consistency and bursts of flavor from the garlic and spice. Every dish felt thoughtful and well-balanced, and the atmosphere matched the quality of the food: relaxed, welcoming, and lively. This is the kind of place that makes brunch feel special. Highly recommend coming here—you’ll leave impressed, full, and already planning your next visit.

My experience at Peche in New Orleans was absolutely fantastic! We started off our evening with some delicious cocktails at the bar while we waited for our table. The old fashioned and Manhattan were expertly crafted and set the tone for the rest of the meal. For appetizers, we tried the tuna crudo and seafood gumbo, both of which were bursting with flavor and left us wanting more. The baked drum with sticky rice was a definite highlight, with the perfect balance of textures and tastes. While the chocolate peanut pie was good, it wasn't my favorite dish of the night. However, the overall quality of the food more than made up for it. The service was attentive and friendly, although they did forget to ask about any food allergies. Despite this small hiccup, our overall dining experience was top-notch. I highly recommend Peche for a wonderful meal in New Orleans and will definitely be returning in the future.

Pêche is in the Warehouse District in New Orleans. This restaurant is amazing! My wife and I started off with a few drinks at the bar and were well taken care of by Amanda and Sam. The place was packed and we were offered a seat at the oyster bar when they also had five empty tables so we decided just to stay at the bar where we felt welcome by these two lovely people. We were pleased to meet Jonathan , the Mayor of Pêche. He was kind enough to guide us through the menu and suggested all of the things we chose to eat, except for our dessert. He recommended Keylime pie, but we decided not to have that. However, the folks next to us did order it and said it was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed all of the dishes that we had, including a couple of different crab dishes, some shrimp dishes, and incredible fish sticks. The menu here is very fun and creative. This place is a real treat. We just walked by and saw it. It was packed late on a Sunday night, so we figured it must be good. It was excellent. We may well go back for dinner tomorrow.

Arrived with the reservation, got on the list and was texted our reservation was ready. Our waiter was knowledgeable and funny, his name is Max. We had the snapper off the specials and it was fantastic. The gumbo, was definitely legit and cooked with care. The potatoes and fried bread both very good. The atmosphere was bustling and a bit noisy but overall a great experience. The fish we saw on the two tables next to us looked perfectly cooked.

Service was better during the day. We ate here 3 times. It is my husband's favorite place to eat Char Grilled oysters and they are GOOD. In the evening the waitress forgot to refill our water, most of the meal, even when asked she would walk away and forget. I'm from the PNW and the heat/humitity in Louisiana takes some getting used to. She did her job but didn't seem all that happy to be there. The place wasn't very busy on all 3 occasions. I'd say 1/3 capacity. They charge you a service charge in the evening. We assume that's for the drunk folk who forget to tip. Could be wrong. The cheese grits were gross. Very dry and had clumps. Loved the wedge salad with blue cheese. The drinks were okay. Pretty glasses but a small amount for the price. I felt spoiled by the big hurricane drink I got at Obrien's The gentlemen who cooked our oysters was very funny and personable. He came over and told us how some oysters were small, so he gave us some extra, but we had to fight over the big ones. He seemed to be loved by others too. We witnessed a lady come to the door after they were closed, asked for him by name and gave him a big hug. All in all, we loved the place. Will visit again in the future.

I ordered the “Bayou Benedict” & my other half ordered the “Desire’s Famous Cajun Benedict” along side with some applewood bacon & a couple of mimosas to wash it down. After sampling both breakfast entrées, I would recommend trying the “Desire’s Famous Cajun Benedict” over the “Bayou” just because I feel like the fried oysters could have had a little seasoning all in all service was fair

We stopped here to eat dinner because they had oysters and peel and eat shrimp on the menu. I really liked the look of the inside as it reminded me of vintage hotel restaurants with the art deco vibe. When we came to the restaurant, it wasn't busy at all. The lady who sat us was friendly, but our waitress was less than stellar. She came and took our order, brought out waters to drink and we only saw her twice more during the duration of our meal. We only got 1 refill on drinks (which was water, but still...). She seemed uninterested in her job. The peel and eat shrimp were ginormous. They were decent size prawns, with the head and legs still attached. From what it said on the menu, they were supposed to have creole flavoring on them/with them... something. These were just steamed and didn't have any flavor outside of normal plain shrimp flavor. I would have liked to have some drawn butter, but staff was nonexistent. My husband liked the oysters he had but said that the ones he had at Acme were far better. I made a trip to the restroom so that I could wash the shrimp juice off of my hands (no wet wipes were offered). The bathroom wasn't very clean. The paper towel dispensers did not work, and the hand dryer was absolutely filthy. The lighting was dim, but it looked like either rust or mold/mildew at the bottom of it and I didn't want to put my hands near that, so I opted to wipe my hands on my pants instead. If we make it back to NOLA, we'll admire the decor from the outside but will probably seek other places to eat instead.

I ate breakfast here because it was connected to my hotel and I had a breakfast voucher. The voucher is good for $24 per person I believe. The food was fine, but not really great. The pancakes were dry. The prices are a bit high, especially considering you have to add everything. Nothing really comes as a meal. I added my grits, added cheese to that. Added whip cream for my pancakes. So for an order of French toast, pancakes, cheese grits, whipped cream (side), and 1 drink was like $50. I understand the price because of the location (on bourbon). But I wouldn't come back for the food. The service was good. Maybe lunch is better.

4adults: sat at the bar with Kentrell ….. Great experience. He was sociable, talented, and companionate. We watched him chuckle and cook oysters at the same time attend to our orders. Wow is he great 😍I highly recommend coming to see him!

We were told by the host that we couldn’t go upstairs because “it was separate and he didn’t know what went on up there”. Little did we know, it was a beautiful balcony. We felt jipped. Food was good but the alligator bites were very fried/mostly bread.

I have been visiting this restaurant since 1996 and all I can say is great things get better with time. The staff is very friendly. The food is always on point and the bloody Mary’s oh my God if you’re in New Orleans, I suggest you visit Desire!

Place was great. We had lunch there. Food and beer were yummy 😋 . Our server Tina F was awesome. I was going to leave her extra tips, but she was too pushy promting me through the steps on the portable credit card charge terminal. She picked for herself 20% and I decided to leave this top for her.

Very chill, relaxed vibe. The service was really great! Danny was really on top of service and such helpful recommendations. We were a group of 5. We had the Red beans and Rice, the Sampler lunch main, the roast beef Po Boy, Oysters (raw), Creole cheesecake, and the bread pudding. Highlights: the grits are incredible! The cheesecake was the best we had ever had. Legitimately, better than Juniors and other highly rated places. Overall, it was all very tasty. The only misses were the fries were soggy and like 1 oyster had not been shucked "perfectly".

The food was amazing. I went to get steak because I heard it is good but it’s not on the lunch menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I tired the jambalaya, oyster and shrimp and they were all really really good. I was skeptical at first but was mind blown as I took my first bite.

While waiting to meet some friends and catch the first game of the World Series this spot caught our eye. After speaking with the host and asking if we could sit at the bar we were welcomed and sat immediately. The place was poppin but still able to easily have a conversation which is both rare, and welcome. The bartender was very quick and attentive to everyone’s needs and orders. We decided on the mushroom pasta, shrimp po-boy, alligator bites a tall fall ale and mimosa. The fall ale was perfect and the mimosa was refreshing. The alligator bites were delicious according to my wife, the shrimp po-boy came loaded with shrimp on a bed of more shrimp but came without remoulade and was somewhat dry (be prepared to dress it up yourself). The mushroom pasta….. Lord have mercy!! That dish was in a category of its own, and was absolutely delicious!!! I cannot recommend that one enough. All in all we truly enjoyed this spot and you should give them a try.

Table for 2 for Lunch I had this place in mind for our 1st stop in New Orleans, so we took a quick 15-minute walk over from our hotel. We entered without a reservation, and were able to get a table for two for lunch. When asked if we preferred indoor or outdoor seating, we chose inside, it was a little too warm for Wifey this time around. 😁 They led us to a perfect high-top table just behind the bar, and our server, Kristen T, greeted us right away with menus. All the beers offered are brewed in house. I ordered a flight, while Wifey went with the Weiss. The beers arrived quickly, and we decided to add a couple of appetizers; I opted for the hot wings and Wifey ordered the bang bang shrimp. The wings came with a sweet and spicy sauce that Kristen told me was not that hot, it ended up being a good choice. Kristen mentioned she was new, but we couldn’t tell. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of. The flight was excellent, and my surprise favorite was a Vienna-style pilsner called the Red Stallion. From where we sat, I only noticed one small TV, so it’s probably not the spot to catch a game. There’s also an upstairs area, which our server said is often booked for parties. She also pointed out that the space almost doubles as a museum, with artwork displayed on the walls and most of it available for purchase. While we were there, a live band started playing, which added another highlight to the experience. I went upstairs to check it out and found a huge interior dining area and a balcony overlooking Decatur Street. That’s definitely where I’ll plan to sit next time. Overall, it was such a great setup that I found myself thinking, I could have stayed there all day.

The cheesecake is one of the best we have ever had! Oops . . I need to back up and start at the beginning. Off on the wrong foot as there was a mix-up as to who had our table. Of course I had the 6 beer flight with some real winners and a couple that were just OK. Wife had the shrimp and grits, not as BBQ as expected but very good. I had the trio & the shrimp and grits was my favorite of the three. To top it off we had the cheesecake and it was tremendous. They use a different cream cheese here in NOLA and it was special.

I visited on a whim after I got checked my hotel. I was starving but was greeted by smiles and was sat in Perry’s section. They had some nice live jazz music going and all the NOLA vibes were there. Perry was very sweet and offered up some nice suggestions. I went with a salad , just so I had room for the crème brûlée. The salad was great and chicken very flavorful… but the star of the show was the crème brûlée. Everything was great, and the staff all greeted me with smiles and even made small talk (I’m traveling alone). Definitely give this place a try!

We enjoyed all the food. The crab cakes are a whole nother level. The jalapeno coleslaw is amazing with them. I had shrimp Creole and it did not disappoint. Husband had the shrimp platter

This was a great find. Close to my hotel and they have a Happy hour Monday to Friday 3-6. The happy hour menu includes $1.50 oysters, so i had to be there! I love oysters!!! And they have so many options to close from, 6 ways too be exact. All very good. I loved chargrilled, must try. Of course the raw is a classic. I sat at the bar so i got to see the action, they chuck them right there! The staff was great, very friendly. I had a dirty martini, not great but it was ok. Their blackberry brumble was great. I also had Boudin boulettes, a must try, they were great. And for dinner i had their jambalaya pasta, which was great but it was not as hot as i would've liked. It really wasn't hot at all which is why they lost a star. It was a busy night, food took a while so it should've been hot. That was disappointing but it was still very good.

This was our first trip to the New Orleans downtown scene and made this our first restaurant stop. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. The service was excellent and we had a great time. I had the jambalaya with the chicken wings and they were fried to perfection. Will certainly go back again

I had the blackened chicken & shrimp jambalaya. It was very dry. Others in the party had po-boys and fries. The bread was hard, but the fries were good. The adult beverages though were really good and made the more enjoyable. Our sever, Jade was good too.

Amazing tasting food, a especially friendly service and a nice surroundings, that's what you want for enjoying your time i a Restaurant. Everything you will find here. The Kambalaya tastes amazing, the Duck and Andullie was good but the best was the Crawfish Étouffée. So i can really recommend this if you want good and tasty food.

The customer service was excellent! I wish I could remember our severs name. I think it was Matthew, but I am probably completely wrong. The chicken was delicious. Was waffle could use a little work. Overall, it was a good experience.

Let me first say, the atmosphere and the taste of the food was so amazing!! I was really excited to try the crab claws after reading so many reviews about them online. The sauce was TO DIE FOR. My only disappointment was that I only got five tiny claws in a $20 dish. Because I thought this was a mistake, I asked my server and she said it was correct ‘because it’s based on the weight’. Many photos online show anywhere from 15-20 claws, which is why I felt mine was a fluke. Either way, the taste was out of this world, so maybe I’m just upset I didn’t have more! lol My sister ordered the shrimp po-boy and it was OVERLOADED with shrimp. So so good!!

Large group dinner, lots of fun, decent food, service lacking. It is spacious, there's plenty of seating without being on top of one another, yet, all servers aren't able to handle large groups. The cornbread and oysters were the best thing smoking!!!

The food was wonderful as was most of the staff, except our Elonda L (our server). She was condescending from the start, sent stuff we didn't order, and didn't send things we did order. I guess because the 20% gratuity is automatic doesn't matter. Everyone else and the food made up for her so I still round up 4.5 to 5. The Grand Isle oyster soup was a delightful spin on oyster stew. I know another establishmemt is known for their charbroiled oysters but G.I. surpasses them in flavor and preparation (imo). The grilled ceasar salad was perfect, good smoky grilled taste, slightly charred.

The food we ordered was excellent, the "Pimms Cup" I ordered wasn't so great. We had a fried chicken sandwich with an order of shrimp and grits. But that Pimms cup didn't need the maraschino cherry and bitters added to it. Im from Louisiana, and that's not a good "New Orleans" style Pimms Cup, it also costs like 25$ for that beverage.

We waited at least 5 min before some one came to greet us. Our server Jolanda was really nice and gave honest reviews on items to order. The food was just mid. ( not great and not bad) If you order catfish, chicken sandwich it is not seasoned.👎🏽 Very Bland! The jambalaya was spicy with no flavor.👎🏽 I had fried shrimp and it was pretty good and the chargrilled oysters were good! Keep in mind a 20% gratuity is automatically charged to your check! Besides the service the food for the price isn't worth it. Disappointed! Never Again!

Grand. Great. Absolutely grateful we found this fine, Big Easy establishment. While we did already partake in more touristy NOLA - not that there’s anything wrong with that - you can only go right with Grand Isle. And I’ll mention our orders were from some alternate food dimension that can only be crafted by their chef. The menu makes it clear: “No Refunds” ‘cause that’s how CONFIDENT they are with what they serve and clearly the labor of love that goes into their grand grub. We got a Caesar Salad, which is a rather basic choice. But here they baste 2 large uncut romaines with a dreamy dressing. Do make sure to have the Icebox Lemon 🍋 Pie, that’s key-lime-esque but lemony fresh with a fruit compote. Do not eat this dessert. Rather let it slowly seep into your tastebuds. My dish of fish was fan-freakin’-tasty. The corn grits are a hit (even as someone who normally despises grits). Make sure to talk to the staff - The servers, hosts, and bartenders are food-fluent and insightful. And whether you’re a foodie or not, your trip to Grand Isle is an investment beyond worthwhile!

Maybe we got unlucky! The food was disappointing. Had better oysters elsewhere, both pasta wear a soggy mess, the egg rolls had no flavour outside of the dip. I truly don't understand how it get such great reviews. There are way better restaurants near for the same price or cheaper.

Great oysters and gumbo. The chargrilled oysters were our favorite, served with toasted baguette. The kitchen closes at 930, but the bar will stay open a bit longer. The happy hour deals looked good.

I’m about to move to NOLA, and I’m excited to become a regular at this place! Incredibly fresh and delicious bread and shrimp, great portions, extremely nice staff and fast service, could not have asked for better. And pretty cheap for the amount of food you get! Highly recommend sitting on the patio as well, the fans cool it down very well.

We were looking for something authentic to New Orleans, outside the commercialized, mass produced foods and the French Quarters. Mahoney’s is a neighborhood bar/grill offering their own twist to local favorites. The shrimp po-boy with sweet glazed bacon and melted cheese was fabulous. We loved the onion rings (just beware of the dipping sauce, it has a KICK!), mushroom boudin balls, rice and beans, and fried green tomatoes. All unique and full of flavor. Our server, Tim, had excellent meal suggestions and was so fun to talk with. Don’t expect a fancy dining experience or shiny decor, Mahoney’s is the classic “hole-in-wall” with excellent food and companionship.

We stopped here because my Wife wanted a po-boy and this was a quick walk from our hotel. We were greeted by the most welcoming staff! They had the best suggestions for food and per their recommendation we had the BEST po-boy! The root beer glazed ham po-boy is permanently burned into my brain. We will be back!!

I got to say the appetizers were pretty on point. Got the muffaletta egg rolls which were fantastic and the red beans and rice which was also really good. Then ordered the shrimp and sausage Po boy..... Which was at least stuffed. It was good, but meh. Seems to be lacking flavor or something. Mind you it was still better than some of the places where we get like 4 little shrimp and that's it. But missing that bam pow I was looking for in a good shrimp poboy. I posted the pic of the Cubano poboy, but I didn't get to try it, so I don't know how that one was. Looked good though. Service was excellent and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Added an extra star for that.

I came here 13 years ago and it was epic. It’s definitely not the same. Good service, but pivots aren’t what they were. Bread was hard and seemed day old. Shrimp were small, though plentiful. Very salty

Luizza's by the Track has incredible food with bold flavors that really hit the spot. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the service was solid. I’d give it 4 stars—not a perfect experience, but definitely worth a visit for the food alone.

Small place but was able to easily walk in and sit at a table on a Friday evening. Food came so quick and was SO GOOD would highly suggest the sweet potato fries. Vibes are all there, jeopardy was on and all the tables were into it and guessing answers - it was a great place to have dinner!

Got a bowl of gumbo and the fried green tomatoes. The fried green tomatoes were amazing!!! Would highly recommend those. The gumbo was OK as well, not my favorite — was a bit on the thinner side. The service was great! It’s a small place and the tables do tend to fill up quickly, so might have a little bit of a wait.

There is a reason why this place is famous. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is 10/10. We loved the waitress, Kaysee. She told us that the gumbo here has been made by the same man for 30 years. I got the BBQ shrimp po’boy that was more like a sweet BBQ po’boy. It’s a little oily but worth it! The apple crisp with a la mode which was AMAZING!! Definitely recommend the oyster po’boy, the gumbo, and the Ruben corned beef and the fried green tomatoes also.

One of the best gumbo I’ve ever tried. My only regret was ordering a cup instead of a bowl, but I had to leave some room for my shrimp po’boy, which was excellent. This was my first time trying it. Also, the beer being ice cold made things more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I visited for a New Orleans style meal during my trip! I waited a little, but they were kind enough to guide me and the food was delicious! The signature shrimp po-boy was a little salty and the fried oyster po-boy came out with oyster shells, but I enjoyed it!

The BBQ Shrimp sauce is amazing. We also had the bisque that was on the specials board and the shrimp remoulade.

Will I come back? Yes. Is there room for improvement? Yes. The food was absolutely delicious. No two ways about it. The atmosphere was classic New Orleans. Scratched all the itches. It was raining on arrival and the entrance was tough for my walker toting mom to get in. The bathroom was flooded out and I had to pick between company in the bathroom stalls, earthworm swimming in one and the unofficial mascot of New Orleans, the roach, in the other. The server got the order right but seemed to hate her job. Food there is ultimately the game cincher. If the food had been average, I probably would not return.

My family and I wandered in to find what I think is probably a neighborhood jewel. It had the feel of a pub and the food was good. We had the charbroiled oysters and a cup of the gumbo. The children had chicken and grilled cheese. The artichoke appetizer wasn't for us, but the staff removed it from my ticket no problem. The staff was also friendly with my children. Everyone was full and happy.

We were recommended to visit for some delicious food and we were not steered wrong! Tried a few delicious things, shrimp po boy, gumbo, red beans and rice with grilled chicken, the spinach and artichoke dip to name a few. It was all made with love. Absolutely delicious. The servers were kind, even went out of their way to give my daughter a book and all of my kids stuffed animals.

Frankie & Johnny’s was the first restaurant I tried when I visited New Orleans. I had the charred oysters and the Po-boy. They both had a lot of flavor and I definitely wanna have the charred oysters again. Definitely check this restaurant out!

This place was so casual and fun! I loved the atmosphere, and the restaurant was surprisingly big inside. They were playing Halloween music, and the staff were in costumes. Our waitress was an absolute doll, so friendly and easy to talk to. We ordered the fried onion and peppers, and LET ME TELL YOU!! The fried peppers were so dang good!! As was the red beans and rice. I can't recommend this place enough.

Sweet little Baby Jesus all snug in his manager! The Abita on tap is so fresh and fantastic! I had the Purple Haze and Strawberry. The beer selection as a whole is supreme. I jumped off and then back on the St Charles streetcar easily to visit Cooter Brown's. Chowed down on some great gravy cheese fries and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Yesterday we went there by the recommendation of a friend. We had a wonderful time. The Catfish Po Boy was nice and fresh, the fries were some of the best fries that I have had. The fried pickles were also the best fried pickles that I have ever had. The bartender was an incredible mixologist and made perfect mocktails. They also know how to properly pour a draft. Everything came out in a timely fashion and there is lots of cool and quaint decor. The bathrooms were actually super clean and the food came out quickly. My only complaint was that the oysters served at the bar were too big and should have been used for sandwiches only. I don't like having to chew them in multiple bites. They were fresh though and the toppings for them were divine. If I come again I won't get the oysters but everything else we had was beyond exceptional and the oysters were not even bad, they were just too big for my preference but other people may find that very appealing. Very affordable prices and large portions. We were very happy with our experience.

An absolutely wonderful out of the way joint. If you wanna get out of the downtown or the French Quarter, take the Saint Charles trolley and come check this place out if you will not be disappointed. Great food great drinks.

It's been a long time since I've been to Cooter Brown's. They used to have hundreds of beers on tap. It has changed. Po boys used to be packed with shrimp and oysters but not anymore. Also half the size and $10 dollars more. I know inflation hits everyone but man, the po-boy in the pic was $25 before tax and tip by the way.

Great food. My wife's favorite place in all of the US for raw Oysters. The Poboys and fried pickles were awesome. And the girls had their first ever Oyster Shooter.

I love this dark old school sports bar ! The drinks are responsible 🍹the food is definitely good for a 🍔hangover or a base depending on the time of day you are visiting! I have taken many of my out of town friends here as a stop on a street car bar crawl or to watch their favorite team on one of the many tvs . While I am not a fan of oysters, they do have them fresh and very inexpensive which is also a fan favorite of my friends that visit NOLA .

The entire experience, from prompt seating upon arrival to the captivating ambiance of Landry's, was exceptionally delightful. The attentive service, provided by the host, bar tender and the waiter, was nothing short of commendable. Furthermore, the culinary offerings were both delicious and promptly served. We have only positive feedback regarding this visit.

I wanted some fish so decided on Landry's. Was seated right away, upstairs overlooking Jackson Square. Great for people watching. Waiter was great! Took my order, brought out bread and butter. Not even 10 minutes passed and he was already delivering my fish plate. It was all good, fish, fries and onion strings. Even left with a Hurricane.

Our server Jerick was fantastic. Great recommendations and professionalism. Unfortunately, the General Manager, Paul started the evening off poorly. We had a few groups with reservations wanting to eat together and he seemed overwhelmed with the Hallowe'en parade and activity outside. Paul gave off the vibe that he really didn't want us there and reluctantly got us to our seats. The restaurant was bit at capacity and there was a large room in the back that could have accommodated all of us. Other than the initial "welcome", it was a great experience and the rest of the staff were attentive and courteous.

Tried alligator for the first time. It was not distinctive but not bad. Tasted a lot as fried chicken. Crab cake was okay. Gumbo too salty. Nice view of the river

We came here for our family reunion lunch on Saturday, July 19th,2025. We all had a great time. It was a lot of us and the service was phenomenal. The food was delicious. It was buffet style. We had dirty rice, fried shrimp, green beans, fried bass, and fried tilapia. For dessert, we had mango cheesecake. I would recommend this restaurant for family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation parties, and other events.

Seanda, our server, was warm and inviting and very attentive to our needs. Her service was prompt and professional, in good Southern tradition. We always enjoy dining at this location and the food and service are always top tier. Thanks Seanda for an excellent lunch experience.

A nice standard seafood boil spot. Upon entering I was excited to see they had a lobster claw machine, but I was let down to see it was empty and out of order. We were given the option to sit outdoors which we accepted. The outdoor seating was on the second floor so we were able to experience all the streets had to offer, including the exhaust fumes of all the cars passing below. Overall it was still a fun outdoor experience. Our server was Gabe, and he was super chill and allowed us to take our time to figure out what we wanted. He also took the time to share some other cool spots to check out down the street as well as in the greater area. We ordered the hurricane cocktail, chargrilled oysters, shrimp, blue crab, corn, sausage, split with two sauces, Boil House and Caribbean. Boil House sauce was great, but felt like it was too similar to a lot of other seafood boil spots. The Caribbean sauce was very unique and just hit differently. Overall the food was pretty good, but didn’t really stand out to us compared to other seafood boil spots. The chargrilled oysters were great, just as most of these spots are. We would return for more of the chargrilled oysters.

This has been some of the best food since arriving in New Orleans. If you’re looking for quality food, do not stay in the central business district; venture out. We found this in the Garden District, tucked off on Magazine Street. The staff was very friendly and navigated through the menu very well. The food was exceptional. Great flavors. Calamari was crispy and well-seasoned. The gumbo was like no other; it had a traditional feel. The child oysters made me a believer, as I usually eat mine raw. And lastly, the seafood boil was something to rave about. Flavor in every bite, tender, juicy. A definite recommendation and a return visit.

If you trot upstairs, a friendly server will fling open the floor-to-ceiling windows for you, so that you can sit outside on the upper balcony. We had shrimp and potatoes in their own seasoning blend at medium heat, which were plenty spicy and were essentially what are called bbq shrimp around here. So good. Two pounds head-off was a generous portion for two people and would probably have worked for three. Crab cakes were excellent also. Super fun place. Our server Katie was fabulous - welcoming and helpful!

She took the time to walk us through the menu, patiently answered all of our questions, and even put on gloves to show us exactly how to eat crawfish. Her warm, welcoming personality made us feel right at home. Out of all the restaurants we visited on our trip, Jackie was by far the most outstanding waitress we had. If you’re looking for delicious food and exceptional service, go see Jackie at The Boil House—you won’t regret it!

Overall 4! Good experience! Line outside, however it went fast. We waited 15-20 mins. Gumbo soup was tasty. We got two boil bags. Dry rub and Cajun flavor both hot. It was too hot for me & perfect for my husband. The food wasn’t hot and we only had one shell cracker which made it hard. We asked for butter, they never told us it was a charge for it. My waitress was great and so friendly!

Sean was amazing! Wonderful service. Good food. The happy hour is only like $1 off drinks, so felt a little slighted on that. Could've been better happy hour deals. That's why 3 stars and not 4. I recommend the oysters! Thank you for the good food & great, caring hospitality!

Quick and friendly service, Jonathan did a great job of explaining the menu and bucket selections. We tried Charbroiled Oysters for the first time, they were awesome! The Classic and The House buckets were both very delicious and seasoned just right! This was on on must try list when we came to town, it will be on our list to eat at forever.

This was my 1st visit, and the food was great. I was with a party of 9, and everyone was extremely happy with their entrée. There are lovely views of the golf course. The only reason they didn't get a 5 star rating for the atmosphere is that there were flies inside the restaurant that were hovering on the large windows. As soon as they bought our food to the table, they started flying near our food and one flew in my drink, so I had to get another, and cover it with a napkin in between sips. We also had to fan the flies away as we were eating. We made the best of it and still had a great time. I certainly hope they do what's needed to make the dining experience 100.

We went to The Munch Factory for lunch today and the food was delicious, delicious, delicious!! The service was A+++! And the view could not be beat! Our table faced huge windows overlooking a pristine golf course with beautiful oak trees and well kept grounds. Our severs name was Shy and he knew exactly when to get our orders in and fill our drinks! He had fantastic suggestions for starters which we opted for and were not let down! Everything was perfect! Just perfectly perfect. I’d recommend this spot if you’re in NOLA and want a memorable and enjoyable eating experience. Thank you everyone who works here!!! I’ll be back for sure!

This place doesn't look like much from the outside as is inside a Golf Course Building. But the food... the food my friends. Delicious seafood gumbo, where all the ingredients were expertly cooked (nothing overcooked or gummy) and thr broth was a sumptuous mouthful. The salmon and oyster appetizers were delicious and perfectly cooked and seasoned. And they have the best Key lime pie outside of Key West. The service was friendly and attentive. Just great people. Lexy was fenomenal. Do not hesitate and go. My experience was simply great.

A co-worker recommended your restaurant to me. So this past Friday, my day off from work we decided to have brunch at your restaurant. I must say that once we got in the restaurant we thought it was very cute and we love it. Looking out onto the golf course was very pleasant, but I really can't say the same for my meal. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. It was beautifully presented but the sauce over the Shrimp and Grits was very, very salty, I mean too salty where I couldn't finish the meal. After eating 3 Shrimps with the sauce, I was done. The salt taste lit my palate like a ton of bricks. When I let our server know, she said that she would let the Chef know and she then asked me if I wanted her to remake it for me but it was going to be the same sauce. Now that didn't make any sense because it was still going to be the same salty sauce, nothing different. Since I couldn't finish my meal because it was way too salty, I think she should've taken it off my bill. I was/am very disappointed 😞.

Excellent! The blackened fish had excellent flavor, was cooked perfectly, and served hot with a crunchy-on-the-outside, creamy-on-the-inside grit cake The baby back ribs were also excellent - hot with great flavor mix and meat to bite into. Filling portions. Great value. Best food we've had in new Orleans.

Edit: new location on the edge of a golf course in Gentilly inside of a golf shop– not a bad place to get during normal busy times because it's not too crowded because it's out of the way in a residential neighborhood. Food is good and decently priced salads are uninspiring but other items are good Unassuming place and name. Creative takes on a lot of standard bar fare and local comfort food. Some items are great, some are meh. Salads, Mac and cheese, bisque was good. Shrimp n grits and tuna tacos not so much.

I was a little surprised that they didn’t have any crawfish, but it’s totally understandable because they’re out of season. I’m not local to New Orleans, so I thought they’d be available year round. Not the restaurant’s fault at all btw, I just wanted to point out why I came here in the first place :) I ordered the charbroiled oysters and I was a little disappointed by how salty it was. The cheese was so overpowering and plentiful that it drowned the small oyster meat in a bad way. The bread and butter that they used was really good though! While the food was kind of a let down, service was great 👍 Super kind and friendly staff! The guy who took our order was really accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere was very casual, but the place was kind of small and tight, so if you’re coming be prepared if you are bringing a large crowd. They have outdoor dining as well. I wish I had the chance to have gotten one of their delicious sounding drinks. They seemed really interesting!

We went to Clesi's for some crawfish. I was very grateful that their crawfish and shrimp weren't too spicy. Their outdoor atmosphere was relaxed and felt like we were on a picnic. Their service was fast and the staff were courteous. We had a fun time!

Core memory unlocked. Outside of a short stop on Bourbon St last night, our 2200 mile trip to NOLA started with one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever been a part of. After finding some highly rated reviews on Reddit, we made our way to Clesi’s and were blown away with our time there. Chance took care of us and delivered the highest quality service experience I’ve received in many years. Not only helping guide us through the menu with recommendations, but also giving us a very intentional idea of what we should check off our New Orleans list while in town. The boil was everything we hoped for and more. As much as it would have been nice to have them, big respects on skipping out stocking out-of-season crawfish. Everything they put on that plate was really fresh and well sized. The burger and po boy the rest of our party was fantastic as well. Gold star for the candied jalapeño and bacon charred oysters! New Orleans quickly became one of our favorite destinations we’ve been to and Clesi’s helped ensure we’ll be lifelong travellers based on the hospitality alone. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!

Today I took Mom to eat here and met another Golden Eagles fan. The owner, Carlo was so kind to talk with Mom and tell his love for the Eagles and speak bout his restaurant. Now let’s get to food! I can’t say how delicious our lunch was. The oysters were some of the biggest I’ve had this year. Of course you could smell the crawfish a boiling for the first boil of the day. Yep, we got us some and it was done just right and tasty. The outdoor seating is on many different levels and was nice to sit outside and enjoy our lunch. To end my review and this will say volumes about Carlo and staff. My mom had dementia and it’s obvious. Carlos came back to our table and share a contact for services to help since Mom will be moving close to me. That’s just good people! Great seafood boil! Unfortunately it wasn’t crawfish season- but the crab and shrimp were great. The seasoning was just right- adding flavor but didn’t overpower the shellfish ( it was also gluten free). Everything was very fresh and the shrimp were large . We sat on the patio at a picnic table . The bartender/ server was extremely nice and even showed us how to get the meat out of the crab. The corn and sausage were also really good.

Nice place, the happy hour specials seem good. The oysters here were huge, ate like a meal. Definitely get the cracklings, they were quite good, esp with crystal hot sauce. The seafood boil was good the jumbo crawfish the highlight, shrimp a little overcooked. Great sausage. Oh and don't forget to ask for the garlic!

Chase was awesome! He took really good care of us and made excellent food and drink suggestions. We stumbled upon this place by accident and we are so glad we did. This is our second trip to New Orleans but we plan to visit every year or so. This place will definitely be on our list of places we have to stop when we are in town. Best jambalaya I’ve ever had. Beat the rush by coming for a late lunch. You won’t be sorry.

First time to this eatery. Was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area. This restaurant did not disappoint. We had a part of 6 adults and with about 45-50 minutes on a busy Friday night. Plenty of other groups there especially for graduation gatherings. Food was great. Service was great. Hostess was good. Food may have came out a bit slow but to be expected in a busy night. Ambiance is a bit noisy but to be expected for this type of eatery.

Fancy but casual seafood restaurant that was recommended by a local. This was the first place we ate at for his long awaited return to New Orleans. Disappointed he only ordered the shrimp poboy, but he got what he wanted and enjoyed it. I didn't think he'd be able to eat it all, it's pretty big with Lots of shrimp. I had redfish Pontchartrain, which was superior to previous versions I've had. Really flavorful, but somehow lighter. The redfish itself was maybe the best I've ever had. Had the onion ring appetizer, which were also really light, crispy and delicious. No rez, we got there early and cought a table before it filled up on a Friday evening. Service was prompt and friendly.

We love New Orleans. Every time we visit, we eat at different places. This time, we tried New Orleans Food & Spirits. The atmosphere is bright, airy, and friendly. The staff were so sweet! Everything on the menu sounded delicious. In the end, we ordered the crayfish stew, corn and crayfish soup, and hush puppies. All were yummy!!

The wait time is not what was quoted. Was told it would be an hour but it was an hour and a half. It’s been a while since we visited but overall the experience was a 4/5 for us. The food remains good. I did have to send back my voodoo egg rolls because half of the order had nothing but cheese in it lol, no ma’am for the cost. The second time it arrived fresh and fine. Great drinks from the bar.

The restaurant was very busy and had a 1.5 hour wait for a table so I opted to sit at the bar. The drinks were amazing and our bartender Bobby was awesome! The oysters were delicious, I ordered the Cargrilled and Florentine and both were good. Florentine was my favorite. I also had their VooDoo crawfish rolls and it was a hit. Will definitely go back to try more!

Took my dad hear for lunch. The food was delicious. I had the crawfish pasta with a crab cake on top and it was perfect. My dad had the stuffed fish and he enjoyed his also. There was only one choice for desert and it was bread pudding that was just average. Will definitely eat here again.

This place came recommended by some locals so we checked it out! The char grilled oyster was hands down the best!!!! You can taste the charcoal smoke on them!!! Don't leave without getting those! Other things we ordered, gumbo (alright), Stuffed Catfish 2 fillets that had crab cake between the two and some pasta with an Alfredo like sauce atop the pasta w/Shrimp. The stuffed catfish meal was great! And those oysters with the bread was Amazing! 😍 We also ordered the voodoo rolls and those were good too! A little too much cheese, but they were good with the dipping sauce. The sauce reminded me of a honey mustard. It was a bit noisy, but it was busy! No wait though for a Monday night.

From the French 75 bar room (formerly the Grill Room) with its safari and tropical motif, the cocktails are courtesy of experienced mixologists. Erik was an attentive server, and knowledgeable about the offerings. For Dinner, we moved to the main dining room. The service was provided by particularly caring staff, expressive in their descriptions of dishes, listening to taste options while enticing guests toward specialty dishes. The turtle soup was spectacular. The Pompano, offered several different ways, were wonderful options. Wine through to dessert were enjoyable, as well.

The steaks and service was amazing. It is a high end restaurant with a decent selection of foods period one of the issues we had.You can see circled in one of the pictures was that the fish dish had this piece of what looked like a staple attached to it or something.I'm not sure what it was, but it was definitely not a part of the fish or it didn't belong there. They did offer to replace the fish dish. But it was towards the middle. So everyone else was already done. Eating by the time it was found. And it was taking off the bill, but I feel like being a party of 6 with a $600 bill. It should have been a little bit more of something done besides just taking a meal off that wasn't eaten . The banana foster's was a nice presentation, but by the time it was served to me.The ice cream was all melted and it was more like vanilla milkshake, with pieces of banana. The Tres leches cake was very dry it was nothing like i've ever had before and I'm hispanic so I know a hood tres leches. I was not a huge fan of it.

This was our second visit to Arnaud’s. Last year we dined in the Jazz Bistro. Once again a lovely dinner and evening. The food was wonderful! Presentation, service, everything first class. Your staff was superb. I recognized the woman who has been promoted to Captain from the bistro. I showed her our picture from last year and we had the same waiter! I manage a restaurant in a resort town and I enjoy experiencing and observing the operations of other restaurants.

Just had a fabulous dinner. Food, service, everything was 5 stars. Our server, Jasper, was amazing. Attentive, entertaining, all around great guy. The food was incredible- I only wish I had two stomachs. The oysters on the half shell and the baked variety were both excellent. The shrimp bisque was amazing- just wish it was served in a bread bowl of their delicious homemade bread. The duck with blueberry sauce was great combo of flavors and the duck was cooked perfectly. I also tried the filet (excellent) and the lightly fried fish with a flavorful brown gravy. Bananas foster for dessert was the perfect ending .

Great historic place. Food was good. The band played well. They walked to each table and played for them. I am not a fan of this. It feels creepy when they stand there while I'm trying to eat. Our appetizers were not great, but the meal was perfect. The fish were prepared perfectly and flavorful. Everything was reasonably priced. The room was loud, even when the band wasn't playing. Overall, it is worth going and experiencing.

Words cannot express how amazing our experience was at Arnaud’s!!! The crew there really went out of their way to make our time special and I would HIGHLY recommend them for a celebration. We went on May 25th for the Sunday jazz brunch, in case of a long wait we called and made a reservation ahead of time. It was for my bachelorette so my friends told the crew about it, the host and our waiter Aaron were incredibly nice and attentive the whole time, and every server did their best to explain the dishes and gave us recommendations for jazz clubs. The food was incredible, but the jazz band was just FANTASTIC!! They take ur request at the table, and after learning it was for my bachelorette and how much both my fiancé and I love jazz, they performed an extra song for me! Near the end of our brunch we were approached by the private host Justin and he offered to show us the museum upstairs (the museum itself is open to public but not greatly advertised). I won’t go into the details but they made a girl feel EXTREMELY SPECIAL and I would describe it as a once in a lifetime type of experience! 100/10 recommend Arnaud’s, will definitely be back next time we visit NOLA!!!

This was the first upscale dining experience in New Orleans for my fiance' and I, and it was everything we hoped for. Our service team of Justin, Sudeep, and Captain Sara were superb. Attentive but not smothering. Never too far and always available if needed. The perfect shining example of white glove service (without the actual white gloves). Now on to the food. In a word... perfection. We started by sharing the Chicken and Andouille Gumbo and it was fantastic. The perfect blend of spice and flavor. Everything we were looking for in a traditional gumbo. A wonderful start to the meal. For our entrees, after some wonderful discussion and guidance from Sara, my fiance had the Pompano David (a skin-on fish dish) and I had the Meuniere (a traditional French fish dish with a brown butter sauce). Both were exquisite and anyone who knows me and my love for a good steak should know that I ate every last bite of that fish. It was soooooo good! Amber loved hers as well. Oh, I almost forgot! As a side, we shared the souffle potatos. Ill just say.... we should have gotten our own orders. And you need to get them as well. Trust me! Desert followed of course and we shared a Chocolate Tahini Caramel Doberge as well as a personal Baked Alaska. The presentation of both was top notch but the flavors... another home run. Go here. Dont question it, make your reservation and enjoy the experience. You will be glad you did.

Got the Red snapper, soft shell crab with regular crab meat on top 🦀, and the Kale salad with goat cheese, so good! 😊 Place definitely is unique for Louisiana and they tell you where everything was sourced from locally. The sauces on the dishes are not heavy like a lot of places in Louisiana do, they’re perfectly cooked and very light so you feel good after you eat here! 👍🏼😋

Vibrant spot on the lake in the Former II Tony's location. Under new ownership by a growing local restaurant group. The staff is the most welcoming and engaging group of hospitality folks you will. ever find. Food is great local style preparations with fish being focal. Set's itself apart from the other spots on this restaurant strip along the lake by offering more pan saute and grill options and less fried. Prices are fair and modest for what ya get. Wine list and options need work. Overall a great spot on the water that will get more of my biz.

Great dining experience. Fried oysters were excellent. Blackened Drum was so, so good and you have to the bread pudding for dessert! Great local establishment, amazing food and service you'd expect in a gem like this.

Station 6 in Metairie is an absolute gem. The fried softshell crab topped with jumbo lump crab meat is one of the best dishes in the city — perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Their bread pudding is also unmatched, easily the best I’ve had anywhere. Great food, great service, and a place I always look forward to visiting.

This place is great with the only compliant being how small it is and that tends to make it loud especially inside. The food is wonderful every time we go and extremely consistent. The pork chop is always my go to but really recommend the crab on crab if it is available on your visit and chocolate peanut butter cake is worth the calories. I don’t think I’ve heard anyone not enjoy their meal and we’ve gone with several different groups.

Walking in, the sight of glistening fish on ice set high expectations—and Porgy’s delivered. Nancylee and I started with a dozen raw oysters, plucked straight from local waters. Each one was a briny, silky delight, with a clean, oceanic zing that paired perfectly with a squeeze of lemon. The freshness was undeniable. Next up, the fried flounder stole the show. The golden crusted fillet was crispy outside, flaky and tender within, with a subtle sweetness that screamed fresh catch. It was perfectly seasoned and dipped in a little tartar sauce. The hush puppies were a highlight—crisp, golden orbs with a slightly sweet, corny interior that crumbled just right. They paired beautifully with the tangy, creamy coleslaw, which balanced crunchy cabbage with a zesty dressing that cut through the richness of the fried dishes. The potato salad was magical, having a hint of mustard to round out the flavor. The Gulf shrimp, ordered grilled, were plump and juicy, with a smoky char and a hint of garlic butter that let their natural sweetness shine. At $20 for a generous portion, they felt like a steal. The service was warm, with staff happy to chat about their favorite preparations. For $91 lunch for three people (including beer), Porgy’s offered great value for such fresh seafood. It’s a must-visit for oyster fans and anyone craving a taste of the Gulf. I’ll be back for more flounder and those addictive hush puppies. 5/5 stars.

The food is delicious! We had the blackened sandwich, bbq shrimp and a Cesar salad. Also had a cute section of seasonings and other items to pick up. Staff was kind and incredibly knowledgeable. I love this addition to our neighborhood.

By FAR the best meal we had in New Orleans! So fresh, flavorful, and creative. Crawfish were delicious, fresh and perfectly spicy. Ceviche was great. Oysters were perfectly shucked and tasty. Sashimi -omg…. Amazing. Excellent service, fair prices and great drinks too. Go there. You won’t be sorry.

I am a huge fan. My friend and I shared a few plates, and I will have to visit again soon. I loved the muffuletta and crawfish roll. One of their current specials, the cajun tuna tataki really blew me away with the touch of citrus. The gumbo wasn’t my favorite, but the oysters inside of them were really big and flavorful. I can’t wait to return.

This stop was just what we needed! We were looking for fresh seafood to put in our cooler for the ride back home and got exactly what we needed. They were so patient and knowledgeable. I stayed to enjoy my raw oysters and they were delicious 😋 I'll be back!

They some selection but depends on how you order food. Oyster is good. Fried food is OK but grilled fish os not their area at all. Limited seating area.

Excellent food and service in a lovely atmosphere. I loved the shrimp toast appetizer and the Tuesday night special "lobster roll" with house made chips. Interesting, varied menu besides.

Came here from out of town and the food and service was terrific! Sal, the manager, was very nice and even brought us extra bread, which is so warm and tasty. Our drinks were delicious and there was a great selection of wine, whiskey and beer. I had the heirloom tomato salad which was to die for. My friends got oysters and the short ribs. Will definitely be back here next time I'm in town!!

Kenton's is located on a quiet corner of Magazine Street near Audubon Park. The outdoor tables are a pleasant location for a leisurely NOLA lunch on a warm afternoon. The menu for lunch is limited but has something for everyone. Needless to say the waiter was very accommodating and had the chef prepare a special salad request for our party. I especially loved the District 3 oysters from St Bernards Parish which were full bodied and delicious. Hamburgers and salads were delicious too.

Very romantic spot for dinner. We really enjoyed the wood fired oysters. Add it your itinerary.

I have visited the bar...twice. Great service. Awesome burger with fries. The crispy grits appetizer is a must.

Had such a great time here with my family. We pretty much stuffed ourselves because we just couldn't stop eating all of the delicious food. Their oysters are killer and every drink was crazy delicious. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dinner! PS: it's very reasonably priced for the quality, atmosphere and service.

GREAT food. TERRIBLE pours. don't order straight alcohol unless you want to be pissed off haha. the food is really good though. I had: - The oysters with the jalapeno--amazing! - The shrimp entree--delicious! - I tasted a vegan dish that my mom requested, and it was KILLER! seems vegan friendly to me! sorry, I can't remember the exact name of these dishes. everything was great though.
