Qbara Restaurant Lounge & Bar is a chic Arabic dining destination located in the heart of the UAE, specifically in Oudh Mehta. This spacious venue boasts an opulent decor featuring rich reds and golds, creating a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. As you step inside, you're greeted by an eclectic ambiance that transforms into a lively club after 10 PM, complete with psychedelic wall art behind the bar. The culinary offerings at Qbara are nothing short of extraordinary.
One of my favorite spots when visiting Dubai. Usually my first dinner on a weekend trip on my way from the airport before reaching the hotel. The Sayadeyah is legendary!
Ahmed Z — Google review
This place has been on my list for quite some time. The cooler, windy weather forced us indoors for an evening and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try this very trendy, all-indoor venue. The restaurant turns into a club after 10pm and this is very obvious in its decor. It's sophisticated and the wall behind the bar borders on psychedelic! The menu matched the trendy decor with its unique twist on a few arabic favourites. We tried the grilled eggplant, chicken livers and lobster kibbeh to start. All of these were wonderful. Who knew that chicken livers could be made so pallatable? We also shared the mixed grill. This was a sophisticated spin on the classic dish and so it included duck, rib-eye, chicken with pomegranate mollases, cherry sausage and lamb chops. All cuts were cooked to perfection with the duck being a standout. The sausage was a little cold, which was a disappointment and the only reason I'm denying Qbara a perfect score. I'll be back. There are far too many amazing small dishes to try in just one visit! @ TRACY

Persian restaurant
Middle Eastern restaurant
Shabestan Restaurant is a popular spot known for its Iranian cuisine, stunning views of Dubai Creek, and live traditional Persian music. The restaurant's interior is filled with exotic spices, creating a sensory experience that complements its traditional Persian menu. Using fresh fruits in their dishes enhances the flavors, offering unique and unforgettable recipes like the Persepolis platter. With a comfortable dining space overlooking Dubai Creek, Shabestan provides an authentic and homey atmosphere perfect for celebrating life's milestones.
Wow. The standard of Persian food here is amazing. Flavour extraction from the vegetable sides is masterful and the leaner cuts of meat such as the chicken breast kebab dish are sooo tender and flavourful. Staff are fast and friendly. Great for a special dinner as the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend. Will be back for sure.
Andrew M — Google review
I had a wonderful evening at Shabestan Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly grilled kebabs, fragrant saffron rice, and refreshing yogurt with cucumber. Everything was served with attention to detail and presented beautifully. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, with traditional Persian decor that adds to the cultural charm. I really appreciated the live music and cozy ambiance — it made the dinner feel extra special. Their tea and dessert platter at the end were the perfect finish to the meal. Service was excellent from start to finish — polite, welcoming, and attentive. Definitely worth the Michelin recognition proudly displayed at the entrance. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience high-quality Persian cuisine in a relaxing, refined setting.
MaYeD — Google review
Absolutely beautiful experience! The food is authentic Iranian, masterfully made by chef Shiraz (third generation running the restaurant!). The view of the Creek and Old Dubai is incomparable. The restaurant different sections both open and closed that allow you to have a unique experience for different occasions and the decor is elegant and traditional. The food is great and here is a good indication for that: besides us, every customer in the restaurant was local! And to close with a flourish delicious Iranian sweets and tea! A big round of applause for the live musician who also helped to make it an unforgettable evening! Five stars to manager Sahar and chef Shiraz for their thoughtful preparation and friendly welcome and interaction with my guests!

Best Persian food in Dubai, if you looking for authentic Iranian cuisine here is your destination. The ingredients are top notch, recommended dish are Ash-Reshteh, Kebab-fillet, and Bagli polo - mahichi.

I was invited to a business dinner here and can tell that the service here is top-notch! The location of the restaurant is amazing as well! I can’t comment much about price/quality but the food could be a bit better, especially the mixed grill.
İlhan M — Google review
It is a must visit, family friendly restaurant for authentic, rich and flavourful persian food, with amazing service and beautiful live music. Absolutely delicious food we want to go back again for. this 40 year old restaurant has the most comforting vibes with their staff that put you at ease instantly and some of the staff have been there since almost the opening. Anis, Emily and Kareem were amazing. And we got to chat with the musician as well. Its like visting a friend’s home and having amazing authentic food. We had khubideh which was my favorite, lambchops, barge morg and khase bademjan. For dessert we had the faloodeh and persian icecream. We cannot wait to visit again .
Deepika ( — Google review
Shabestan is one of the best & oldest Iranian restaurants in Dubai! I personally love this branch more than the other one (mostly because of the beautiful view🌊) It is our go-to spot for cozy family dinners. The service is always great, and I especially love how their bread is served fresh and crispy & the fact that they keep replacing it whenever it cools down (a critical part in enjoying iranian breads) Anis, one of the longest-serving waiters there, is incredibly respectful and accommodating! I highly recommend visiting with a big group & ordering the mixed grill; it’s the best way to try a bit of everything and enjoy the full experience! ALSO, don’t miss out on their black tea with mint; its the perfect way to end the meal 🤰☕️
Hessa K — Google review
This Iranian restaurant, located inside Radisson Blu Hotel by Dubai Creek, offers an elegant dining experience with a stunning view 🌊🏨. The food is authentic and flavorful, with saffron-infused desserts served as a lovely complimentary treat 🍮✨ The table setup is beautiful 🍽️, and the service is top-notch 🤝. Highly recommended for a refined Persian meal in Dubai ⭐️🇦🇪.

Lebanese restaurant

Breakfast restaurant
Al Hallab Restaurant & Sweets is a lavish establishment featuring a sweet counter and an upstairs restaurant offering Lebanese and global cuisine. Renowned for its delectable shawarma and spicy potato sandwiches, this Lebanese gem provides an exceptional dining experience. The spacious two-floor venue in the Garhoud area offers ample parking and consistently delivers outstanding taste, quality, and service.
Al Hallab has been my go-to Lebanese restaurant in Dubai for over 20 years, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and incredibly generous — a true taste of Lebanese hospitality. What I truly appreciate is their remarkable consistency over the years, something many restaurants struggle to maintain. Perfect for family outings and gatherings with friends, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. Highly recommended.
Hassan G — Google review
Had an amazing experience at Al Hallab – probably the best Lebanese food I’ve had in Dubai so far. I honestly don’t remember the exact names of the dishes (should’ve taken notes 😅), but there was this one with meat, mushrooms, and onions… absolutely out of this world. I also had a dish with eggplant and yogurt – surprisingly simple but super delicious. Their kababs were amazing – juicy, well-seasoned, and grilled to perfection. The sweets? Just perfect. Traditional Lebanese desserts done exactly how they should be. The ambiance was also really good – warm, welcoming, and perfect for enjoying a proper meal with family or friends. Price-wise, yeah, it’s a little on the higher side, but honestly worth every dirham for the quality, flavor, and overall experience. Highly recommend if you’re after authentic Lebanese cuisine in Dubai. P.S- I know my photography skills aren’t the best 😅 so just bare with the pics for now!
Adnan K — Google review
I was looking a place where we can have something sweet with tea with a friend and we ended up entering because a very nice staff opened the door and welcomed us. We were really happy about the service that was absolutely amazing. The sweet dessert was delicious, also, as well for the Moroccan tea, served with a lot of professionalism. And it was a lovely experience so we cannot wait to come back for lunch or dinner maybe- Also it’s a huge restaurant and you have a lot of choices when it comes to the menu so it can please anyone- Ps: the music played there is so beautiful. So it creates a very loving atmosphere.

Quiet and romantic both for business and family gatherings. Very clean and organised. Food quality is not open for criticism. Juices are also up to the expectations. The staff is friendly and professional. Though it was Friday, we easily found a parking. The prices are affordable.
Fathi G — Google review
One of the best authentic Lebanese restaurants ever. Of course the best on the menu are the mix grill and raw meat. Dessert is on another level too. Moroccan tea is very nice as well ❤️‍🔥
Hassan A — Google review
I was really looking forward to this shawarma, but it was a huge disappointment. The chicken was dry and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The seasoning was bland, and instead of the juicy, flavorful bite I expected, it felt chewy and greasy at the same time. On top of that, the sauce was watery and barely had any flavor, so the whole thing was just a mess. Definitely not worth it. I won’t be ordering from here again.
Hadeel T — Google review
Amazing food and outstanding service! Look for Mr. Paul — he truly goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. You’ll never be disappointed. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bilal M — Google review
The food here is really delicious, especially the Arabic dishes — full of authentic flavor and great presentation. However, the dining space could be better. For such a big restaurant located in the main area, I expected a more comfortable and well-organized seating arrangement. Still, the taste definitely makes it worth a visit! 🍽️

Located in the heart of a traditional souk within Wafi Mall, Khan Murjan is a restaurant that draws inspiration from an ancient subterranean souk in Baghdad. The restaurant features influences from Egyptian, Syrian, Turkish and Moroccan architectural styles and offers traditional Middle Eastern dishes. The marble courtyard with Umawi architecture serves as a stunning backdrop for diners to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.
What an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors and beautifully served. The hospitality was outstanding; the staff were welcoming and very attentive. I loved the strawberry juice, it was so fresh and tasty! The design of the place is stunning, with a traditional, magical atmosphere. Ventilation was also perfect, making the whole dining experience even more comfortable. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of Dubai’s original Lebanese restaurants, offering authentic flavors and one of the most beautiful seating areas in the city. The kabab kushkash, hummus, and vine leaves are all exceptional and full of Levantine character. Perfect for a long, relaxed dinner in a truly unique eastern-style setting. Located inside Wafi Mall with easy parking available. Featured in my Dubai Food List — check my Maps profile for more local favorites.

Younes was an excellent host and the restaurant food quality is amazing. Ali made us a very nice sugar cane drink !
G J — Google review
My fav. Spot in Dubai. You feel really local and relax in open air. Kids friendly, located in Wafi Mall. It is an oldie but a goldie one. I recommend the restaurant inside.
Bitirme P — Google review
Overpriced and Underwhelming Tried Khan Murjan recently, and while the ambiance is nice, the value just isn’t there. The appetizers were okay—spicy potatoes were the standout—but the mains? Outrageous. The Mixed Grill was AED 114 for a couple of meat pieces, one lamb chop, and a skewer. The Sultani Kebab (Irani mix) was AED 145, which is honestly a crime. Portions are small, and the flavor, while fine, doesn’t justify those prices. This place is clearly aimed at tourists who don’t know better. Locals or residents know you can get more food—and better—for way less at plenty of great Lebanese or Persian spots around Dubai. You’re paying for the location, not the food. I won’t be back.
L — Google review
Unique dining experience in a prime location facility with high standards of service. The interior design is a state of the art. The atmosphere is snoozing with a modern & traditional mix that is convenient for all tastes. The food quality is high, the portions quantity is good value for money. The staff are very welcoming, friendly & professional. You would order more & more just to extend your stay in this lovely environment.

The menu features delectable Levantine cuisine including hot and cold mezzes, grilled meats, shawarmas, and kebabs. Delicious Syrian cuisine. Flavours are enriched & juicy. Visited late night at 2AM, but food was prepared & served with same standard. Everything was served fresh. Freshly baked khubus and falafel. Highly recommended. Free parking behind restaurant. Excellent customer service 👏

Had dinner here yesterday and it was a great experience overall! ✅ Highlights: ✅ Spacious and calm atmosphere, spread over two floors plenty of seating. ✅ Very friendly and attentive staff. ✅ Food was delicious we ordered Mix Grill, rice, French fries, fresh orange juice, and fresh strawberry juice. ✅ Warm, fresh bread that was absolutely amazing. ⚠️ Room for improvement: Vegetables were cut into large pieces smaller cuts would make them easier to enjoy. 💰 Price: 156 AED for two people without deserts, which is fair for the quality and portion size. Would definitely come back for the food and the welcoming environment!
Ariana — Google review
Overall good restaurant. They have a large variety on the menu, but are known for their shawarma. It’s in central Deira, so a very vibrant location. Parking is a bit difficult. We went for the boneless chicken, lambchops, and different kind of appartizers like; hommos, olive salade, garlic with spice, french fries. As a drink we took fruit juice. Would recommend it for families, price/quality is good. Spend 210 aed for two aduls and two children.

This establishment offers exceptional Lebanese-style Arabic cuisine, particularly noteworthy for its outstanding barbecue. The quality of the food was so exceptional that photography was momentarily forgotten. However, accompanying images showcase the appetizing appetizers. I highly recommend repeat visits.

I tried the shawarma roll and falafel — both were really tasty and freshly made. The shawarma was flavorful with good filling, and the falafel was crispy outside and soft inside. Clean place and quick service. Just a little room for improvement in presentation or portion size, but overall a great experience
Hashik A — Google review
"We had a terrible experience at this super expensive restaurant! The taste wasn't suited for Indian palates, and the staff was unfriendly. We paid 770 AED for 7 people, and what really got us was the soft drink charges - they were triple the amount we expected! They served salads, which we thought were complimentary, but surprise, surprise, we had to pay for them too! It was supposed to be a treat for my family, but nobody enjoyed the food, and it didn't even fill us up. Honestly, not worth it. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone."

Restaurant
Mama’esh Sharjah Beach House ممائيش بيت شاطئ الشارقة, located in Al Manara, offers an authentic Palestinian culinary experience with a focus on using fresh halal meats and organic flour for their bread. The restaurant prides itself on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like home, paying attention to every detail from the decor to the service. Guests have praised the friendly and helpful staff who provide excellent hospitality.
We had a wonderful breakfast experience at Mama’esh Arabic Restaurant in Sharjah, where the traditional cozy ambiance, friendly service, and authentic Palestinian flavors truly stood out. We tried the Shakshuka eggs, which were perfectly cooked in a rich, flavorful tomato sauce and served with warm, freshly baked brown bread—absolutely delicious. The menu offers a great variety of traditional Arabic dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the prices are reasonable for the generous portions. Mama’esh is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a satisfying and authentic Arabic meal in a relaxed environment.

Update: different staff, different level of service. Forgot to bring Karak chai and flies have entered the restaurant. No fly swatter and no candles to deal with flies. Bread was overdone, yaffawi was a bit thicker than normal. Training should be consistent to have consistent level of service and cooking. The most beautiful branch of Mama’esh I have visited. A gem of Palestinian food and retail. We had the egg and sujuk pan and the shakshuka pan as well. Both done well but I personally would prefer a bit more sauce or condiments. I order chili paste which is extra cost. Black tea was too hot for me and I had to add water to cool it down. Karak was good temperature and taste. Overall Avg AED45/person with clean toilets and seating upstairs and downstairs. I like the restoration of an old villa into a family friendly restaurant. ☺️

One of the highly recommended places for breakfast in Sharjah. The atmosphere is very cozy you feel like you are in your home having delicious dishes with your family. The best service and the best food!! Definitely try the kofta in Tahini and their rolled kunafe and many more authentic palestinian dishes. The whole restaurant setup is so cozy with a prayer room and ample hosting area. The restaurant is all about giving back to the community and hospitality.

Not sure how i should rate this place. Went for dinner the 1st time and was amazed by the service, food taste atmosphere and we all just fell in love with the place.. the fatayers and appetisers were just too good. OLIVES and the oil was aromatic, served with different breads. Having this experience we decided to celebrate our anniversary here and just in 5 days we went back last evening, which was not so great.. all of sudden we felt the place changed… the south asian male server seemed uninterested in taking our order, didn’t give us options of the different breads, neither served the regular salads and pickles, when asked the reply was its served only if asked! Lol… the food too was okiesh.. will still give it one more try latter on to come to a final conclusion.. Ya i feel the ladies who serve do a better job here then their counterparts..

They also serve sandwich falafel, scrumptious fouls, and fatteh meals in various flavors. To complete your meal, you can order them with either french fries or hummus.
We went for light dinner and loved the food. We ordered Fattah, Hummus, Falafel and Cheese Meat Manakish. All the items were good specially their tahina sauce which comes with Falafel. They have seperate seating area which is outdoor but covered, which was enjoyable because of the weather. Overall experience was very good and will surely visit again to try other items.

Just ask for him and you are good. We ordered: • Falafel plate. • Hummus • Tomato plate with meat. • Scrambled eggs. Very recommended and to try

One of the best restaurants of oriental Jordanian & Palestinian food. The food quality is good the prices within the average prices across the other brands. It’s recommended for breakfast and dinner. They have a big hole for dine in inside the restaurant and the outside tent

Authentic Palestinian food. Freshly baked bread . Service can be a little bit slow at busy times. Dining hall a bit noisy and AC can be improved

This is not our trying area, but we eat regularly from here. One of the best and falafel and falafel sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Food quality was really great!!

All dishes are excellent and worth trying. Definitely high chances of visiting again
Mohsin K — Google review
I stumbled upon this place through Google and surely it was worth it. They have another branch in Sharjah (where I went couple of years back, without realizing this is part of the same place. They surely have some of the best Falafel Sandwiches. Everything inside was fresh and prices are very pocket friendly. I have tried their Normal Falafel Sandwiche, Hummus Falafel Sandwich and Cheese Zattar Manakesh. All are totally worth it. Staff is friendly and courteous. Reason for 4 star is because they don't have the same quality during peak hours 😁
DarshDXB — Google review
One of the best Syrian restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining at. The falafel is crispy perfection, and they have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Their Manakish selection is impressive, with many mouth-watering options to try. The sandwiches are also good. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a night out or a casual meal.

I placed an order and after 30 mins of that they message saying that they will not deliver as it falls below their minimum order value. Should have mentioned that at the time of placing an order and not after 30 mins of the order being placed. PATHETIC SERVICE !!!

Al-Safadi Grilling is a beloved culinary gem that has been delighting diners in Dubai since the early 2000s, showcasing the rich flavors of Lebanese cuisine. When you step into Al-Safadi, you're not just enjoying a meal; you're embarking on a delightful journey through Lebanon's vibrant food culture. The menu features an impressive selection of traditional dishes, including Grilled Halloumi and Falafel Plate, alongside unique offerings like Eggs with Meat and Cheese Majouka.
Safadi is a pretty good neighbourhood cafeteria, very affordable menu prices. This is their Chicken Biryani only for 12, very decent serving. They also deliver. I recommend dining in rather than asking for delivery if you are near the area. Their restaurant serving is better than delivery.
D’req Q — Google review
Had green chilli charcoal and BBQ charcoal. Spicy and delicious for the winter
Priya L — Google review
-Tasty Grilled Chicken! Safadi grill cafeteria is a old gem of Q-Town, i have been eating their grill since i was 14, easily my first choice when i want ti eat grilled chicken, the chicken is cooked perfectly, its not rubbery, not very spicy and has nice flavor to it.. order half or full charcoal grill + Oreo milkshake and you will feel like your in heaven. I prefer you sit upstairs its always quieter, and their burgers are pretty good too. But dont ask for delivery they will come pretty late.
Siddharth V — Google review
They have the best green chilli charcoal, fast home delivery to nearby places.
Shaheen M — Google review
Arrogant behaviour and delivering food they have rather than our choices. They don't even know how to prepare what's printed on their menu.
Ajoe C — Google review
One of the worst restaurants you can try, the food is always left over from the day before, rice is rock-hard, beef cannot be cut even with a knife, they always get the order wrong and are late, they also lie about the price of the order.
Abdu W — Google review
I had ordered for veg hot and sour soup and asked them to bring the card machine they said inorder to use the card machine the bill has to above 10 dirhams since I don't have at the moment I ordered omlet which they charged for 3 dirhams .but after that omlet even giving 1 dirham is more .so small and tiny omlet .This cheating is at very high level.

Foul wa Falafel is a beloved gem in Sharjah, renowned for its delicious and budget-friendly offerings. This charming eatery features two delightful falafel sandwich options: the classic version and one packed with fresh vegetables. Beyond falafel, guests can indulge in an array of shawarma varieties and rich, flavorful hummus that perfectly complements their meals. Many patrons have been returning for years, drawn by the consistently crunchy falafel and aromatic mutton shawarma that never disappoints.
Owner is welcoming and always at service. Perfectly grilled shawarmas too.

Tasty Falafel and Foul was average. Arabic shawarma was good. Falafel taste was just like the one i had in Jordan. Ideal for takeaways. Rate 3/5 Taste 4/5 Ambiance 2/5

We have been coming to this restaurant for the past few years. The food is amazing and cheap. We have tried many places but their Falafel is crunchy and the mutton shawarma does not smell. Mix veg shawarma is also very good. It's a simple place but cheap for a big family
