Visited for a hen do for a kayaking experience. Communication beforehand was great, staff were absolutely lovely and friendly, and everyone had a great time paddling on the river! Would love to come back again for another experience!

After an initial hiccup with booking in my son for Summer Camp, they accommodated my child with Autism. He had a phenomenal experience and I am truly thankful for you helping him experience the great outdoors that many take for granted. Looking forward to more sessions in the future.

The staff are incredibly helpful, kind and supportive with children with special needs. We had the best time here. Thank you so much. Hope to visit again soon.
Wahida M — Google review
Lovely place for outdoor activities. The ladies were really friendly and helpful. It was our first time doing paddle boarding and she explained patiently the do's and don't. If it's near to where I live, I would definitely come more frequently.

Great place for family and group outings.. lots of activities to choose from. Free Parking! Pleasant instructors! Memorable experience 😊
Adebowale O — Google review
Had a lovely time kayaking but found it very expensive. 1 oap, 1 adult and one child nearly £75 for 2 hours on 2 kayaks. Don't think we will be going again.😪
David T — Google review
I'd very good the instructors are brilliant, we did a kids party axe throwing and then they went out on the river on a giant paddle board they all loved it . They also run a climbing club and I also dod a climbing trip to the peak district with my son it was fantastic.

Amusement park
Twinlakes Park is a family-friendly theme park located near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Spanning 70 acres of beautiful countryside, the park offers a wide range of attractions including rollercoasters, rides, falconry displays, and a water park. With over 50 rides and attractions spread across 10 themed areas designed for different age ranges, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Twinlakes Park is one of the best amusement parks in the UK that I’ve ever visited. It offers a fantastic range of attractions suitable for all ages. Highlights include a water park available during the summer months, a well-maintained animal farm with a variety of animals, an impressive birds of prey section, and a wide selection of rides and activities. The park is clean, well-organized, and provides plenty of entertainment for families, children, and adults alike. There are numerous picnic areas throughout the park, making it easy to relax and enjoy a meal outdoors. The staff are also exceptionally friendly and helpful, contributing to an overall positive and welcoming atmosphere. There are also two large indoor play areas and several soft play zones, making it a great destination even in wet weather. Lot of other activities also... Highly recommended for visitors of all ages!
Lijas J — Google review
Brilliant family day out, something for everyone here. Enough rides to suit all ages and queues were fairly short. Indoor areas are great with plenty to keep children entertained, perhaps aimed at more younger children but the dark themed slides and play area is great for all along with the rapids ride. Classics like the pirate ship and log flume for all the family to enjoy. Easy to navigate around the park. Free parking available and gift shop at the end. Purchased a family photo which can be taken upon entrance. Highly recommend for families. Great value with family pass which we purchased via offer code at half price. Bargain! 🌟
Emi L — Google review
Great park but definitely more suitable for small children. Our 9 year old wasn’t as enthused and entertained as our 6 year old. Quite a long queue for some of the rides which meant the kids were getting fizzy. Water wasn’t working either whilst we were there so had to use hand gel - provided by the park - this wasn’t the parks fault though. Good choice of food at decent prices and the place itself was kept nice and clean.
Francesca B — Google review
A great day out for kids with plenty of space to burn off energy, from rides to play zones. However, some queues are long, and one day may not be enough to do everything. Staffs were efficient but not very smiley. Still, a fun-packed visit for active families!
Hello Y — Google review
Went on a Sunday for pre-birthday fun with our daughter, well laid out park with plenty of things to do, small wait for some rides but nothing extreme. Longest wait for for the food as one poor guy was manning the BBQ shack by himself during the lunch rush, He did an amazing job tho! I saw at least 2 people litter picking, surly one would have been better supporting the cooking?
CoralAmanda — Google review
It's a good value for money with ONE big but, as long as your child is over 90cm. Otherwise there's virtually no rides they can be allowed on. They would not let you hold them on your lap and go down the water slides in the splash zone either. Animal wise it's quite poor in terms of variety. Nice picnic areas. Decent cafe and indoor playground. Car park is decent size but on the rainy day it's a bit of disaster especially if you have to go through it with a buggy.
Grzegorz B — Google review
Amazing rides for family most ages kids ,take your own pack lunch or will pay more , was a nice setting they should have a sen que other than that amazing venue. Nice gift shop nice coach trip but can be driven too .
RIZ Y — Google review
Quite good as we had free entry as grandparents on this day, although coming to end of season and windy weather not all rides were open but still good for the kids still plenty to do with the animal pens etc and Halloween themed.

Nestled in the heart of the National Forest, CONKERS is a delightful family-friendly destination that promises endless fun and exploration. This expansive center spans 120 acres of lush woodlands, serene lakes, and engaging play areas designed for all ages. Whether you're wandering through discovery zones or enjoying a performance at the amphitheater, there's something to captivate every visitor.
Not too far from me. Just under a hour A few parents decided to go here at the end of Feb. Was three groups of us all together Was muddy this time of year so deffo wear some old trainers and clothes and bring some spare to go home in In by the entrance there is a gift shop and shocked to see it stocked useful items. Such as gloves and hats (for the current season) and well priced items. Decent sized cafe and we even visited the 4D cinema which is there. Wasn’t overly impressed with this as the sound and visuals were not clear. Out side there at lots of play areas. Lots of things for the kids to do and in quite a few locations around the park. Sensory area. A small maze. Lots of slide and kid assault courses There is a payable more intense area if you wanted to go in. Looked quiet and would be worth the extra £5-10 per child The train ride was included. Takes lots of people at once so you don’t have to wait long I would think in the summer this place would be very busy BUT as it’s so big there is plenty to see and do and lots of room for everyone. Was very impressed on how clean the place was, of course there were a few litter bugs but this can’t be helped. Great place to come and visit. Even has free parking. It’s not like other places that want to rip you off or charge you the earth for coming. It’s a place that wants you to enjoy the outdoors and we did very much Keep up the great work guys
Jim — Google review
We visited today with our toddler son and had a nice day out. Despite the car park being nearly full, we didn’t have to queue to get in, which was a great start. The staff were friendly on arrival, gave us a map, and invited us to watch a short 15-minute film at the cinema — included in the entry price. We paid £24 for two adults, and our toddler got in for free. The highlight for our little one was definitely the train ride, which we used to get to the play park. The outdoor play area is spacious and well-equipped, though we felt it was more geared toward older children. There were a few bits for toddlers, but not a huge amount. We also explored the indoor play area, which again seemed better suited for slightly older kids. We enjoyed walking the nature trail, crossing the wobbly bridge, and strolling by the lake — all really lovely and peaceful. The sandpit was another fun stop for our toddler. Overall, it’s a large and reasonably priced place to visit. While we probably wouldn’t rush back with a toddler, it might be a better fit for families with children aged 5 and up. Still, it was a pleasant day out with lots of fresh air and space to explore.
Chloe B — Google review
We visited this place recently, and my son said it’s his favourite attraction so far! It truly offers something for everyone – from young kids to adults. There’s a lot of walking involved, but it’s well worth it. We enjoyed a variety of activities including a train ride, a maze, climbing areas, a 4D cinema, and several fantastic play zones. There’s so much to explore that you could easily spend the whole day there without getting bored. We had some food on-site and were pleasantly surprised by the quality – it was much better than we expected for an attraction like this. The ice creams, in particular, were excellent and a real highlight for my son. One small downside was that my son wanted to ride his bike during the visit, but unfortunately bikes are not allowed inside. It’s understandable for safety and space reasons, but worth knowing in advance. Overall, the tickets were very reasonably priced considering how many attractions are included. It felt like great value for money. We had a brilliant time and will definitely go back one day – there's still more to see and do!
Monika A — Google review
We visited with 3 kids (2,11 & 12) and there was a variety of activities and attractions to keep the whole family busy. It was a nice refreshing change from rides and electronics and was great to see the whole family out in the sun enjoying the environment. The older kids used the high ropes which was £7 a go and we think that was fantastic and very cost effective compared to other places we have been recently. Plenty of places for a packed lunch, plenty of places for the kids to be busy and adults also. Highly recommend 🙌 Indoor play area is at the waterside part of the venue which you can walk or catch the small train to. Only reason it was a 4 star and not 5 star review was due to parts of the older side of the place (waterside centre) was looking quite outdated and warn out completed to the main area and building.
Yorkshire A — Google review
Me & my 8 year old son had a great time at Conkers today! I thought it was reasonably priced for the activities that we did. Must do's when your there are: Barefoot Walk, Assault Course & The Bush Craft Session..... A massive shout out to Dave who was superb with his knowledge on survival techniques including making a fire & building a shelter! Awesome Dave!
Paul B — Google review
First time at conkers and what a good time me and the family had. You have to pay entrance fee and then further charges apply per activaty. I did the highe rops and zip line which was fun. Thers lots of other free areas to explore and kids playgrounds. You can also hitch a ride onnthe train which takes you to one ofnthe large play areas. Deffo worth a visit.
Ramzan J — Google review
CONKERS is a fantastic family attraction with fun indoor and outdoor activities. From nature trails to a 4D cinema, it offers great value and a mix of adventure and education for all ages. A perfect day out in the heart of the National Forest! It is for kids

We love the place. Like a country park with plenty nice paths to walk around but perhaps better with all the different activities for various ages. Even on a day when it may be spottier weather thanks to the brilliant interactive exhibit/softplay indoors. A bit of water play in the summer months for the little ones. The barefoot walk. The activity trail. The fairy labyrinth. The train. Several wonderful playgrounds for various ages, including zip line on the big one. Plus really affordable extra activities like high ropes, climbing wall, archery and more. Extra events during school holidays and not massive but really enchanting and fun winter wonderland in Dec/Jan. We love it there and will definitely be renewing our membership.

Super Day Out! Put on your walking biots and get ready for a great fun risky adventure playground for older people with fast zipwire! Good loos, lots of benches & picnic tables, den building area, a smaller play area for under 8's, dog friendly (lots of dog poo bins) and a warm cafe!

A quiet and nice place with a big walk path. Plan for the change in weather and pack an umbrella with you. Perfect place to take your dogs for a walk.

Nice little park to wonder around. Great little area for kids to play around. Easy and accessible car park, with charging costs (not too bad price) Overall, nice for a little stroll if you happen to be in the area!

Absolutely loved spending the afternoon here today. Children enjoyed every moment being here. From the walk, to the age appropriate play grounds to the den making area!! (I have some very creative children, they didn't want to leave!! 😆😆) The park was very clean which made our experience so much nicer. It was awesome to be out amongst nature and hear the birds through the trees. The coffee shop is usually open, but the times vary. All in all the park is perfect for every age, from the young ones to the older ones and everything in-between!! 😜😜🤣

Visiting Wollaton Park was a dream come true for me as a Batman fan. The moment I found out this was the filming location for Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises, I knew I had to see it—and standing there in front of Wollaton Hall honestly left me in awe. The building is absolutely stunning, with its towering windows and intricate stonework. For a moment, it really felt like I was stepping into Bruce Wayne’s world. The park itself is just as beautiful as the Hall. Wide green spaces, autumn leaves scattered across the grass, and peaceful paths made it feel both grand and calm at the same time. I could’ve stayed there for hours just walking around and taking it all in. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. You can tell they care about the place and its history, and they were happy to chat and answer questions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. As a Batman nerd, it felt like a pilgrimage to Wayne Manor. But even if you’re not into Batman, Wollaton Park is still an incredible spot to explore—beautiful, relaxing, and full of character.

Great place to visit. The car park is £5, I paid for this in the shop, giving them my number plate. The park is very extensive but it was fantastic to see the deer so close. The house is fascinating with all the natural history displays. This was £15 but the ticket lasts a year. The gardens were also very nice and the view down to the lake was beautiful. The cafe was ok, not the largest selection of food and the drinks were all served in cardboard drinking cups. All the staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful. The shop was nice to look around and standard prices. The toilet facilities were good and clean. There were some near the cafe and in the house. I definitely recommend a visit. On a warm summers day it would be a lovely place to bring a picnic and make a day of it.

Visited the walled gardens specifically. A wonderful, relaxing and fascinating project to restore the site. Lovely volunteers working at the site and amazing progression being made. Only open set times during the summer for tours. A warm welcome. This is a very special place.

Lovely grounds, plenty of deer and a nice walk in fresh air. There are toilets, a café and gift shop.if you need them. You need the Ringgo app to park and pay £6.10 for all day.

The park is about 500 acres. Many children at the playground, families on picnic rugs, deer wandering through acreage. Camellia House & Wollaton Hall are so different. Enjoyed every moment.

Not the best of days from a weather point of view but certainly from the number of people there. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully on the next visit go around the house. The cafe coffee and smoked bacon baguette was superb imo.

Bradgate Park is a renowned beauty spot in Leicestershire, spanning 830 acres and offering a variety of attractions. Visitors can explore footpaths, encounter peacocks and fallow deer, and enjoy the playground and stream. The park also boasts the ruins of Lady Jane Grey's childhood home. It is home to over 550 Red and Fallow deer that freely roam the area.
Lovely park, stunning backdrop with plenty of dears, you feel like you could be in the Scottish Highlands at times. Picturesque place which is great for walking, whether it's a ramble up to Old John Tower, a rummage in the woods, or a dip in the stream. Highly recommend for dog walkers and families to get out into the fresh air!!
Daniel P — Google review
Bradgate Park is truly a gem, an incredible place to unwind, take a long walk, and just breathe. It's the kind of spot where nature does all the talking. The landscape is vast and beautiful, with open spaces, ancient trees, and a peaceful atmosphere that helps you disconnect from everyday life. It used to be quieter, and while it's more popular now and can get busy, there are still those rare, quieter days when you can enjoy the serenity and really take it all in. If you're lucky enough to visit on one of those days, the peacefulness is something special. Perfect for a picnic, a long stroll, or even just some time to sit and think. Just a tip bring everything you might need, because you might find yourself staying longer than planned. It’s that kind of place.
Halal E — Google review
Bradgate Park itself is beautiful – really enjoyed walking around and especially loved seeing the deer roaming freely, which made the visit feel quite special. The scenery is lovely and it’s a great place to spend time outdoors. That said, the parking felt quite extortionate, which does take away from the experience a bit, and the men’s toilets could definitely be improved in terms of cleanliness. Overall, worth visiting for the park and wildlife, but a couple of practical things could be better managed.
Sam R — Google review
Bradgate Road leads to the stunning Bradgate Park, a truly beautiful and expansive place that’s perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. The park is filled with wildlife — from grazing deer to a variety of birds — and its natural scenery makes it ideal for both relaxation and exploration. Whether you’re after a quiet stroll, a scenic jog, or a full day out with family, the area offers something for everyone. There are designated BBQ spots, picnic areas, and clean toilet facilities that make visiting convenient and enjoyable. The walking and running tracks are well-maintained, offering routes for all fitness levels and interests. Overall, Bradgate Road and its surroundings provide a peaceful escape from the city, combining nature, history, and recreation in one truly lovely destination.
Nicholas M — Google review
The park is beautiful. What I didn't like was the amount of dogs off leads near the deers. This included a pit bull. Owners need to be wary at all times as deer are loose everywhere. Great for photographers. I parked in the south woods carpark as it is £2 all day.
T K — Google review
A beautiful park and a great place for hiking, walking, and simply relaxing. It’s always thrilling to see wildlife up close here. Toilet facilities and cafés are available both at the entrance and in the middle of the park, which makes it very convenient. You can easily spend the whole day enjoying a picnic and connecting with nature and wildlife. There’s plenty of parking available — £5 on weekdays and £6 on weekends for the full day. It’s also good to see that bins are placed throughout the park, helping to keep it clean.
S. S — Google review
What and incredible place! Visit the ruins and the gardens. Take a walk alongside the stream. Or hike up the rocky hills to take in the panoramic views and pay your respects at the war memorial. Deer and Peacocks wonder freely around the grounds. This really is a stunning part of the midlands. When you need to rest your legs you can pop into the cafe to refresh, grab a bite to eat and take bathroom break. There's something for everyone to enjoy regardless of your physical abilities. I came via public transport from Nottingham. The number 9 Kinchbus took me from West Bridgford (Notts) to Loughborough (Auberry Gap stop), and then I got the 154 Centrebus from the Auberry Gap stop to the reservoir at the Bradgate Park. The stop which takes to back to Loughborough is also right next to the reservoir wall. I believe the last bus back to Loughborough is at around 18:30, and then there are multiple late buses back to Nottingham from there

Fantastic parkland with a large expanse of green space, some striking landmarks and remarkable prehistoric rock formations. Bradgate Park dates back around 800 years, when it began life as a deer park, a role it still fulfills today with a large herd of Fallow and Red deer. It's also home to the impressive ruins of Bradgate House, one of England's oldest brick built houses, and amazing ancient oak trees, many of which date back over 500 years. The park is maintained to a very high standard and has a number of entrances, each with their own parking area (charged daily at a reasonable rate) and public toilet facilities. Tearooms are located near the reservoir and the Newtown Linford entrance. The path is crossed by a network of well maintained and clearly signposted paths, ideal for dog walks and popular with families. The Newtown Linford entrance is best for short, easy walks past the stream to the house, while the Hunts Hill entrance in the upper part of the park is best for more challenging walks to Old John Tower and the Leicestershire Yeomanry War Memorial. These high points offer expansive views over the surrounding countryside and the Leicester skyline, with rugged rocks in the foreground. We stopped here on the way to the Peak District thinking the park would be a more interesting way to break the journey than a motorway service station, and were very happy to have done so. A real suprise that exceeded all expectations.

Visitors can enjoy stunning views overlooking the lake and relax on unique seating like a swan-shaped wooden bench. Originally a wartime depot, the park now boasts an extensive playground with modern equipment for children up to 12 years old.
If they will be have a jet wash for muddy dogs that will be perfect park for my "not always golden" retriever. Very friendly park. Nice, polite people. Well-behaved dogs. Good education section. Sometimes part of the park is flooded, but the main part is accessible. Nice part with appels trees with old and local spices (very tasty;).

This park offers ample space for children and dogs, featuring designated walking paths and expansive fields with both on-leash and off-leash areas. Its extensive grounds provide numerous recreational opportunities, complemented by an adjacent skate/scooter park. Parking is affordable, and convenient refreshment options, including ice cream and beverages, are available.

We love this country park! Parking isn't easy at peak times, but you can park on the road surrounding for free. Just make sure if you park in the car park you get a ticket - I've seen tickets wardens, and it's cheap! Lovely little cafe when you enter. Then a great sensory tour in the forest, our kids always stop and play here first. Down at the main park, loads of areas to play football, sandpit and a skate park...also recently found an amazing pump track! It's unreal! If your kid likes bikes, parks it perfect

First time I've visited this park. Was very impressed with how nice it was. Lots of play areas for kids and loads of waterfowl on the lake. Really beautiful area.
Ian W — Google review
The park is one of the best parks in Leicestershire. There is plenty to do for children, such as a sensory garden, a big play area with sandpits, slides and swings, and a skate park. It's a perfect place for a family day out in the sunny weather! Car park is chargeable and a bit small, but you can park on the road in a walking distance just before you get to the park. There are Caffè shop, a couple of ice cream vans during warm days, and next to play area there are 2 food trucks. If you love to spend time outdoors, close to the nature, then this is a perfect spot! Highly recommended!

A superb Park with plenty to do and see. It is particularly excellent-and very popular-with families, as the playground and BMX tracks are substantial. If you just prefer to escape the noise, there are many walks and cycle routes. It is very easy to spend an afternoon there. Parking is also very affordable.

Beautiful park, walkways, lake with ducks & swans. Great for the whole family, children's sensory area, lovely coffee shop. Lots of seating around the lake for the elderly or just to take in the tranquility. Love our day there.

Abbey Park is a well-known Leicester park that spans 32 acres and features a river, flower displays, and the ruins of an Augustinian monastery. It offers various family-friendly attractions such as playground areas, sports fields, tennis courts, a boating lake (currently not operating), a miniature railway, a paddling pool, an oriental Chinese garden, and pets corner with friendly animals. The landscaped gardens boast seasonal colors and sensory interest.
Abbey Park in Leicester is a hidden gem where history, nature, and peace come together. Every visit leaves me feeling calm and uplifted. The beautiful gardens, serene river, and peaceful walking paths make it a perfect escape from the noise of daily life. It’s a place that truly soothes the soul.

Attended the Billy Bates Fun fair on Abbey Park (12th July - 25th Auguy) and for only £1 had a few hours of great fun. No kids, just me and my better half (kids trapped in adult bodies). The rides were reasonably priced and the most expensive was £4 per adult and half that for kids. There was plenty of unhealthy snacks and food and plenty for the kids to do. Parking was a nightmare and we had to park on Belgrave Road and walk, but it only took 5 mins, so no real problem. I highly recommend the fun fair for adults AND families!

Probably the best park in Leicester as its relatively close to the city centre making it easily accessible from the bus and train stations. There is parking but not too many spaces making if difficult to find a space during busy times. The park is set in lovely surroundings and has parts of the old Abbey there for people interested in history. Has tennis courts, well manicured flowers section, a Chinese themed garden area, a river running through with wildlife. Also has plenty of green space, miniature railway, children's playground, outdoor gym equipment, cafe and close to a artificial football pitches for hire centre. The animal corner with variety of animals is a favorite for children along with the ice cream vans dotted around the park.

Ideal place for a walk specially in summer when they go above and beyond on the flowerbeds 🌹💐🌸🌺🌷🌻🌼🪻 just a shame they haven’t got something like a drive-in cinema 🎦 I think it would be an ideal all round attraction if the money was spent on the right facility in the grounds like in the USA 🇺🇸 Thank God they have some toilet 🚻 that are open.

I went to the Leicester Food Festival at Abbey Park, it was my first time experiencing this kind of event, and I absolutely loved it! The combination of delicious food, live music, and the fun fair made it such an enjoyable day. We had so much fun and it was a wonderful outdoor experience overall.

Watermead Country Park is a charming destination known for its nature reserves, bird-watching opportunities, surfaced paths, and fishing spots. The park features the Reedbed Nature Reserve and the Birstall Nature Reserve, making it a popular area for nature studies. With a dozen lakes and an extensive network of paths, visitors can enjoy activities such as fishing, walking, cycling, and wildlife watching.
It's was such a beautiful morning again as it has been all week so far. I go with my friend and our 4 dogs. We are walking to help our own health as well as our dogs health. We meet lots of other people and dogs every day and a great incentive to increase our steps is Bada Bean Coffee Truck in the Car Park. The Coffee made by Paul is consistently perfect. I have a Caramel Latte and it's creamy and beautiful texture and flavour tantalise my taste buds every single time I have it. He does other types of coffee and teas, hot chocolate and other drinks too and a variety of delicious cakes. If you haven't tried any of his drinks you are definitely missing out on a very delicious beautiful experience. It really spurs us on to walk further and helps power my journey back to the car. It also pays to just be quiet for a few moments to hear the birds singing. We listened to a Robin today. It's song is intricate and very tuneful. And that makes my heart and soul feel so great full and happy to be there. Very calming to the mind. I have been achieving my 10,000 steps in just a couple of hours.

We visited Watermead Country Park on a very warm day (30C). It was a very nice park with plenty of walking trails, small lakes, picnic areas, benches and country birds. It was very well maintained. There are no bins available; you are asked to take your rubbish home (which we did). We struggled to find any toilets. We checked the maps on the boards. They showed no toilets. We had to cut our visit short because of this.

Beautiful park with some lovely views of the lake. It’s a peaceful and pleasant place to enjoy nature and wildlife. A good path that goes around the lake, and there is a trail that goes through the woods. Great place for a picnic. Good parking and toilets. Definitely worth a visit.

A great place to relax on vacation Although the park is not big But it offers a lot more attractions than other British parks Can bring fun and satisfaction to tourists Except for the most famous tower in the middle It also has a small lake Birds often stay in the lake to rest The scenery is very pleasant There are also many very cute squirrels walking around here There is also a Bell that has been used before Introduced the previous history here But relatively The lack of space and the overcrowded parrots seem very cruel to watch... Many parrots are constantly chewing off their feathers because they are trapped here. They have to live in this poorly lit and crowded space I really don’t recommend it... Other than that, overall this park is very comfortable.

Queens park is the main park in the centre of Loughborough. It has recently seen refurbishments and resurfacing. The new bell tower is very sleek. The museum in the corner of the park is a win for kids. There is a huge play park on the opposite side also. Parking in Granby st car park makes it a short walk. There is also an aviary and AA great cafe at the museum. There is also a band stand which sees performances in the summer and the Carillon Tower. The one downside is that the toilets are always gross and out of order. We went at the weekend and two were out of order and the other spat the money back out. Such a shame for a lovely park.

Beautiful, floral displays, lovely water features. Obviously loved & enjoyed by locals & beautifully cared for, no litter to be seen . Brilliant kids adventure playground with awsome slide. The tower is magnificent , with peal of 47 bells on Thursdays & Sundays. The cast from the biggest bell from St Paul's cathedral is on display in the park. We plan on visiting Taylors Bell foundry tomorrow which is just up the road

Nestled in Leicestershire, the Armourgeddon Military Museum is a treasure trove for military enthusiasts and families alike. With an impressive collection of over 50 military vehicles from WWII and beyond, visitors can immerse themselves in history through various interactive exhibits. The museum features a charming French street scene café and an authentic Anderson Shelter, creating a unique atmosphere that transports you back in time. For those seeking adventure, the highlight of any visit is undoubtedly the tank driving experience.
Booked for the tank driving experience, after gearing up we walked to the tank, had a little intro and then began the main event. Took it in turns to drive a lap out of hatch and a lap under hatch. Once complete move to the passenger position for a nice other point of view. Site is well organised, museum is quite well stocked with plenty of information. Friendly staff. Recommended.

I went here a few years ago and really need to revisit, sadly Google only allows me to upload 50 photos and that does not do this place justice, it is a small place but they pack in a ton of stuff. I only went for a look around the museum but they do a lot more like tank rides ect, it is well worth a visit even if you are not local.

Absolutely brilliant. A must see and do for anyone. We toured the musuem and do a tank drive around. The musuem is amazing. It is so full of intriguing bits. The only thing that would be better is the history of how the owners got each item. The drive around was really cool, albeit a very hit day. I am very claustrophobic, and the instructor was great at keeping me focused and calm. My son and I had a great time! Can't wait to go back!

Moorways Sports Village and Water Park in Derbyshire offers a fantastic water park experience with thrilling flumes, a wave-creating Wow Ball, racer slide, and a fun water play area. Visitors can also enjoy pool inflatables and two separate soft play areas. The water park can get busy during events, but the wait for attractions is usually not too long. The changing rooms are clean, and the showers are hot.
I was very impressed with the almost new look of this facility. I visited the water park and had the most fun EVER racing my brothers in the two slides. There were also mountain like sledge slide with a big drop that I went on by myself and brother which was very scary at first, but with the accompanying of the kind staff who calmed me down and assured my safety😂 then I was going on again and again! There were two water slides which were very cool and a big swimming area with ocean like waves. Great experience will definitely come again! THANKS
Ziyad M — Google review
First time playing at the water park today and I like the Atlantis inflatable, very good and exciting. However, I noticed that some parts of the facilities have sharp edges, which can be quite dangerous for children if they run into them. I got a small bruise on my leg when I went through the starting point and smashed the barrier of the top slide. Also, I see time schedules for public swimming on weekends do not offer that many time-friendly options for working individuals like me; most are family swimming after I asked the reception. Mostly, the waterpark provided a good environment for us to relax.

Been a couple of months since we've last been, but what a fantastic difference the new displays make in the pool area. The window vinyls are great. So simple but really makes a fantastic difference to the experience.

Great little waterpark and autism friendly! Sen sessions available but the mainstream sessions are never over crowded with time slots staggered for entry and exit. Lovely and clean with great facilities! Cafe on site and optional soft play for little ones too.

Great leisure centre, pools and water slides are all in new condition. Lots to do with kids (need to be over 1.2 metres to go on slides). Changing rooms are big and clean with lots of lockers. Lots of car parking on sites too
Kate M — Google review
Great place for kids to go to play in the water, several slides to go on and an obstacle course in the main pool (check when this is open as we were too late to go on). Unfortunately some parts were not working (possibly broken) but that didn't affect things much. Definitely worth a trip for something different to do.
Rob D — Google review
We like this place. It was our second visit there when we were on the way to visit our cousin's in Derby. It is worth it to go and have a bit of fun ;-)
Agnieszka K — Google review
Took my 2 kids really good fun. Floatation equipment is worn on the big inflatable meaning loads of fun even if they aren't great swimmers. Really fun slides just check height ratings to avoid disappointed little ones. Spacious changing rooms and showers. Wave pool is deeper than it looks in the still pictures so do bring arm bands for kids if needed, it's deeper than paddling height. I originally begrudged the time slots but meant it wasn't too busy which is the plus even if it was inevitably busy at times. All in all really fun experience for little ones.

A really good walk with the dogs. A great walk along a concrete path from one car park to another. It’s 8km in total and very accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Apart from the odd sheep, it’s a great place to let the dogs off as they can run around in lots of open space. There is a cafe at both ends which is always a bonus. There are lots of bikes but generally everyone is very courteous. Parking is £4 for 4 hours, and it’s cash, or contactless. The downside is lots of dog poo…so watch out if your little ones run in the grass around the car park area especially.

360 Play Leicester is a spacious and family-friendly entertainment center in Leicester, offering fun activities for both kids and adults. The venue features various play areas including indoor and outdoor spaces, messy play areas for creative activities like painting, bumper cars, and a merry-go-round. The staff are known for their warm hospitality. Additionally, the venue offers party packages such as the Build-a-Bear party which includes organized activities and ample space for children to enjoy themselves.
Myself and my girlfriend brought our baby here for his 12 month birthday. We heard a few good things about the place and we were looking forward to it. It might be more expensive than other places, however you can stay for as long as you want and prices do include unlimited carousel and bumper car rides, which operate in half hour stints. (Check the time table when you arrive). We thought that the play areas for our baby were limited as we didn't take him on the big climbing frame. We weren't bothered though, as we took him everything that he could go on a few times. We also made use of the café and had some toast for breakfast, though they did have plenty of other items available. We would like to visit again, just when our baby is a bit older.

A great place for kid if a bit on the pricy side. It cost nearly £20 for myself and my son to visit which I think is expensive in comparison to other options but I have the say the size and variety of things to do is excellent. It has both indoor and outdoor areas and it’s great that bumper cars and the carousel is included in the price. The cafe is very over priced for a soft play
Emily M — Google review
Our baby boy had a really great time here. We've been previously to another soft play venue and we were so dissapointed. But here everyone is making you feel welcomed . We've been only for 3 hours, but was enough to see that the place is really clean, had no issues whatsoever. You don't have to pay for anything extra, apart from food and drinks if you want of course. We've been to other places where we had to pay extra for car rides or other machines, which in my opinion is not right. But the most important thing is that our baby boy had his best time and we will definitely come back. Food and coffee really good also.

Been here a few times Amazing place for the kids Rides. Go karts. Themed rooms. Toys. Massive soft play area with slides. Outside area. This is a must go to place. Free parking outside Place is very clean with loads to do for all ages. Even has a smaller soft play area for little ones The outside area is big. Massive sand pit and high climbing framed areas for older kids All seems super safe too Keep up the great work

Brilliant soft play, it is pricer than others in Leicester, but the experience is 1000% more positive. The whole place is very clean and up to date, can be busy but not unbearable like some other play areas in Leicester. Good safeguarding practices like locked doors which gives you peace of mind. We were lucky to go when the weather was good and the little ones spent ages outside with the different activities and playing in the outside area.

We had our son's birthday party at the 360 Soft Play and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better! From start to finish, the whole experience was amazing. What made it extra special for us was having a dedicated party host— It meant we could actually relax and enjoy our son’s birthday instead of stressing over all the little details. A big shoutout to Amber, our party host, who was absolutely brilliant. She was organised, friendly, and had everything running smoothly the whole time. From making sure the kids were having fun to sorting out food and timings, she handled it all with a smile and such professionalism. It really made a difference and allowed us to just focus on the moment and celebrate with our son. The kids had a blast in the play area. We’re so glad we chose 360 Soft Play Centre for the party—highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun, stress-free celebration!

Booked a party here for my daughter. Much prefer the new way of booking parties. Our party host was Sophie who was super helpful and really lovely. Much better now the kids have the option to go back to play after the food as opposed to dancing games upstairs. Reasonably priced and the food was lovely.

It's a beautiful soft play area with several options; we didn't see the entire play area because it's big. My children enjoyed playing in the restaurant and also the outdoor play area. Would not visit again. The karts are falling to pieces, my picture is just one of them, all smashed up! The rest are more or less the same, tired and broke looking. One chap went into the wall, fell out of his kart and the kart was just lined up for next race. The kart was not checked over for damage despite the plastic parts not looking straight. Looks like it needs some input or care, no briefing today no waiver signed. Just in and straight out on a track we had never been on before. Shame as its so local. Get some mechanics and a lick of paint

Attended a session on Saturday 17th, 10 of us. Easy to find, ample parking, staff are great. Briefing was through an informative video. Safety equipment in fair condition.Track is fast and flowing with displays available in and around the main building. Karts are of mixed conditions and differing performance, but this is pretty standard with most tracks. Would recommend. Thanks to the staff who helped us on the day

Excellent experience at this place. Good for both adults and children. We visited as a party of 5. Great service and attention to comfort and safety. Easy to check in. The safety video is good and easy to follow, not tiresome. There was an instructor on the track with the kids, keeping an eye on them and staying out of the way at the same time. Service was with a smile. Great attention to COVID precautions and we felt secure in their hygiene methods. Would definitely visit again.

Good track and had a decent time. However, the karts were not in the greatest of condition. The overalls were poor, zips messed and Velcro out of shape. Also, the helmets were well worn and heavily scratched. No cracks, but I was not keen on this. Finally, the majority of staff were polite barring the gentleman on the reception desk who was quite rude.

Aqua Park Group offers a fantastic day out for both kids and adults. The staff is known for being incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the experience enjoyable for everyone. Visitors appreciate the variety of obstacles available at Rutland Aqua Park, although some may require a bit of strength to conquer. While the changing rooms could use more frequent attention, this doesn't detract from the overall recommendation to visit.
Great day out. Better than expected. Highly recommend. Bring a chair to watch the kids have fun! or participate if you're feeling energetic.

Great day out. Staff were super friendly and patient with us, as we were slightly older so not as agile as some of the kids there. Only issue was maybe having someone attend the changing rooms every so often, as floors were wet and dirty from people's trainers. Other than this, would deffo recommend and will be returning

We had such fun at the Rutland Aqua Park - so many obstacles to enjoy, we cannot wait to return and take it on again!! Some strength is needed to get on some obstacles but so many friendly people happy to help.

Nestled near Leicester, this experience offers a delightful mix of outdoor fun and relaxation. You can navigate through the enchanting Wistow Maze, where towering sunflowers create a whimsical atmosphere that feels like stepping into a storybook quest. Had such a wonderful relaxing time. I was really scared at first but once you get the hang of it, its not scary at all. Sophie was amazing she made us feel so comfortable. Stopped by the pub had food. Then came back. They gave us speaker aswell which made the whole experience so enjoyable. Will definitely do it again and worth the money.

Left to our own devices it was an enjoyable experience meandering around a circular route comprising of the Grand Union Canal and the River Soar. It took four hours in total, although we stopped off at the Waterfront Pub on route, for a very nice meal and a well earned pint. Only tricky bit was carrying the two person kayak over the road after the break, not because of the drink, we only had one, but because of the distance and you have to lift it over a style, but we managed it. Our guide Sophie was great. She was friendly and knowledgeable and was there at the meeting point to greet us before and after the experience. We would recommend it.

We did the guided Paddle to the pub kayak and had a fantastic time. The guide, Sophie was lovely, we got to learn some techniques and the scenery along the way was really pretty. We stopped at the pub for a delicious meal then headed back. I have already recommended it to my friends and will definitely be coming back again.

Had such a lovely time! Sophie was absolutely amazing - she was full of positive energy, guided us through our first time kayaking, and is so enthusiastic. Loved the trip too, very scenic with lots of bridges, ducks, ponds, and so much to explore. Thank you Sophie for making this so memorable xx

Booked for a friends birthday outing. Instructor was friendly and helpful. Explained how and what to do and made sure we were comfortable. We did the 2hr self guided tour in the early Sunday slot which meant it was very quiet on the river for most of our time. A really relaxing way to explore the river although there are more adventurous routes that you can take. Would recommend for a novice like myself.

Great morning. Lovely staff meet and greet Sophie really put me at ease. Perfect little experience and easy to book. Definitely would like to go back. Great communication and location was fab to spend some extra time to dine after at any of the local pubs. Kayak was comfy and felt safe.

Had no idea this place existed until I read it was burnt down. Hopefully it can overcome the fire damage so I can take the kids.
