Burnham Park is a sprawling urban oasis in Baguio, known as the summer capital of the Philippines. The park features a manmade lake, gardens, and a grandstand for special events. Visitors can enjoy activities such as renting boats or bikes, skating at the rink, and indulging in local treats like strawberry or ube taho. It's one of the must-visit tourist spots in Baguio along with Mines View Park, Session Road, and the Valley of Colors.
Burnham Park is the vibrant heart of Baguio, offering a lively park experience from day till night. By day, the atmosphere can be peaceful and tranquil, perfect for a relaxing escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The iconic man-made lake at the center of the park is a major draw, where visitors can enjoy leisurely boat rides in rowboats or swan-shaped paddle boats. I think most of the boats cost 200 pesos for 30 minutes. Even if you're going solo or with a group, it's fun to row around the lake. Beyond the lake, the park buzzes with life. You can rent bicycles of all kinds, from single bikes to tandem bikes, and pedal along the designated paths. The open spaces are ideal for a picnic, jogging, or simply strolling through the beautiful Rose Garden and other landscaped areas. At night, the park’s ambiance transforms. A portion of Harrison Road, adjacent to the park, closes to traffic and becomes the famous Baguio Night Market. The area fills with stalls selling a vast assortment of goods, from thrifted clothes and souvenirs to local handicrafts. It's a bustling hub for bargain hunters. The air also fills with the delicious aromas of various street foods, making the night market a must-visit for a lively culinary adventure. The park's dynamic nature ensures there's something to enjoy from morning till late evening.

It was a great place where you can just stroll or sit and admire the view. There are also various activities to do in the area such as bikes, boats, and skates. You won't have to worry about food as well since there are various stalls for different kinds of food. There is also a small cafe within the area. The good thing also is that they have a public restroom.

A place we visit regularly... the kids playground is nice for energetic little ones, while the lake and its surrounding park are great for more relaxing walks. If you have time, and the energy, rent one of the 3 person bikes (yes, my wife and 2 boys fit in the bench seat just fine).
Lee C — Google review
20251019 - huge park which is nice to walk in the cool weather. There is go kart which can be rented to cycle in a roundabout. In case it rains, there is also an indoor park that you can enjoy bumper car, pirate ship, carousel, skating rink. Good place to hangout during weekend.

CLAN McCRA APPROVED!!! We had a great time here. The swan paddle boat was so much fun. But I would recommend getting the boat with the dual paddle wheel. We lost a race to that one (it is fast) we were in a swan boat. YouTube videos @ClanMccraAdventures If you’re hungry go to Kubo Grill 2 blocks away.

Burnham Park is a must-visit spot in Baguio! 🌸 The atmosphere is relaxing, with beautiful gardens, a serene lake for boating, and plenty of space for picnics or biking. It’s perfect for families, couples, and anyone who wants to unwind and enjoy nature in the city.

Location & ambiance: The park sits right in the heart of Baguio City, making it easily accessible from hotels, restaurants and commercial areas. You’ll find a mixture of lush pine trees, open lawns and a central lake that gives the place a relaxed, “escape-city” feel.

Great place to visit, though i saw some tourists that just leaving their trash to where ever they sit even if the trash bin is just 5 steps away infront of them. Be respectful to where you visit dont bring your disrespectful or being rude from your place of origin here.

Nestled in the northern highlands, the BenCab Museum is a haven for art enthusiasts and culture aficionados alike. Showcasing an extensive collection of artworks by Benedicto Cabrera and other esteemed Filipino artists, this 12-gallery sanctuary also features indigenous exhibits from the Cordilleras. The museum's commitment to promoting arts and preserving the environment and traditions of the region is evident throughout its displays.
One of the best museums I've been to and perhaps the best museum in the Cordillera Region. The place is also trendy and usually a lot of visitors on weekends. It has a cafe at the lower ground level adjacent to a beautiful garden.
Ralph C — Google review
Great place to see art from traditional to modern visual art. I wish they would provide museum tour so I can learn more about the art. I’ll be back for the eco trail :) Not accessible for wheelchair since the elevators are not working.
Pamela A — Google review
Explored the area with young adults. I would have soaked in more at the gazebo below the museum if we had time. You can easily finish the place in a breeze. Overall, I think the ticket price is reasonable in order to maintain the museum. There’s cafe also at the basement. Would love to see this place expand since it embodies the culture of the cordillera people.

BenCab Museum is still a must visit when in Baguio after all these years ✨❤️ there is a new exhibition too which was great. All the other pieces from different Filipino artists and Bencab if course, are so incredible. It’s P200 fee to get in. Totally worth it! The outdoor area is also great and worth seeing. Wonderful and impressive art pieces by Filipino artists 😍

What an incredible experience at the BenCab Museum today! 🤩 The art, the ambiance, and especially our fantastic tour guide made it such a memorable visit. Seriously, our guide was brilliant – super knowledgeable and made the whole walk through the museum so engaging. We learned so much! It was such a chill and inspiring walk, and honestly, the perfect backdrop for some selfies. 🤳 Just a heads-up for future visitors: be prepared for some seriously erotic art that might make you blush! 😉 My camera almost did a double-take at a few pieces. 😂 All in all, a must-visit in Tuba, Cordillera Administrative Region! #BenCabMuseum #ArtReview #TourGuideGoals #PhilippineArt #MuseumAdventures #Cordillera #SelfieSpot #EroticArtAlert #BlushWorthy #TravelPH #CultureTrip #ArtLover #HighlyRecommend 🎨🚶‍♀️✨

A very interesting place to visit and see art works from BenCab himself and other artists whose imaginations are exhibited here.

Visiting BenCab Museum was one of the highlights of my Baguio trip! It’s a stunning blend of art, nature, and culture that left me truly inspired. 🎨 Top Highlights It showcases a superb collection of National Artist Benedicto Cabrera’s works, along with contemporary pieces and Cordillera indigenous art spread across multiple thematic galleries—Cordillera, Erotica, Maestro, Sepia, and more . The iconic Bulol Wall—a two-story installation of rice guardian sculptures—is unforgettable and one of the most photographed spots . The open spaces and Zen-like gardens create a peaceful, spacious atmosphere that lets you truly soak in the art and mountain views . 🌿 Farm, Garden & Cafe Sabel An eco-trail through the farm, mini-forest, and waterfalls is included (extra fee) and lets you see Igorot huts and organic crops . Cafe Sabel serves delicious, farm-fresh meals and their signature BenCab’s Brew coffee—plus stunning views of the pond and garden while you dine.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while admiring valuable plants, including special perennial trees and rare species. Additionally, the garden features multiple greenhouses filled with various delightful plants.
What a beautiful and well-maintained park 💗 We enjoyed our time here even though it was raining a lot. There are a lor of bathrooms and places to stay and eat. We enjoyed coffee by the cafe near the entrance of the park. Wear comfortable shoes since it’s also an eco trail (with pavement). I was with seniors so it took us about 2 hours to go around the park and it was raining too so we had breaks.
Pamela A — Google review
The place is enormous! Be ready to walk and slightly hike (optional). This place is best for people who are interested in flora. You can explore all you can. There is no time limit, we stayed the whole day. On top of that, you can buy food, coffee, and plants inside. 4-star because the entrance fee could still be lower. 100 pesos per head may not be affordable, especially for bigger groups.
Mary M — Google review
Our visit to Baguio Botanical Garden was a refreshing escape into nature! The moment we entered, we were greeted with the cool Baguio breeze and the calming scent of pine trees and blooming flowers. The garden has definitely improved over the years — it’s cleaner, more organized, and more scenic! There are beautiful walking paths, photo spots, and cultural displays that highlight the rich heritage of the Cordilleras. We loved the native huts and Igorot statues — very educational for the kids and a great photo opportunity for the whole family. It’s also nice that there are shaded areas to rest and clean comfort rooms available. Entrance fee is very affordable, making it a great spot for budget-friendly family bonding. Don’t forget to try the street food and souvenir stalls outside too! Overall, a must-visit when you’re in Baguio — perfect for nature lovers, families, and those looking for peaceful moments in the city of pines. 🌲💚

Worth it ang entrance fee. Sana every city or province have this beautiful garden. Prepare to walk and breathe fresh air. There are coffee stalls and food stalls inside the park. The park is clean and well maintained

We just pay 100 entrance to see their renovated comfort room and have an ice cream. Take a remake of our photo 11years ago with my not so closed friend before now my husband.

Visited this again after 14 years and it has definitely glowed up. The park has become more modern and more aesthetic and very instagrammable. It now features several mini gardens or parks such as Japanese garden and tunnel, Korean garden, Chinese garden, an Orchidarium, Succulents Garden and a lot more! Definitely add this to your Baguio itinerary. Bonus: the toilet in this park is the nicest public toilet I’ve seen in Baguio.

Perched atop Mount Mary Hill in Baguio City, the Baguio Cathedral of Our Lady of the Atonement, also known as Lady of Atonement Cathedral, is a significant religious and historical landmark. Its striking pink façade and Neo-Gothic architecture with twin spires make it an iconic symbol in the city. The cathedral offers breathtaking panoramic views of Session Road and the city below, making it a peaceful place for reflection.
Baguio’s cool air always feels like a reset—but this Sunday, standing before the Baguio Cathedral, it felt like more than that. It was church #21 out of our 52 for the year, and this one stopped us in our tracks. The twin spires rising above Session Road, the soft pink façade, and the sweeping steps leading up—it looked like a postcard. But once inside, it was the silence that got me. Amid the stained glass and hushed prayers, my wife and I watched our three girls light candles beneath the statue of Our Lady of Atonement. They didn’t speak. They just stood in stillness—rare, beautiful stillness. For a dad, moments like that linger. This cathedral wasn’t just impressive—it was calming. It reminded me that amid our noisy schedules and long drives, grace still finds us in quiet corners. Church #21 left a mark. Not just because of how it looked, but because of how it made us feel: grateful, grounded, and just a little more whole.
Ric V — Google review
Visited the Baguio Cathedral on a Sunday and it was a beautiful experience. The church was very crowded during Mass, and getting a seat wasn’t guaranteed unless you arrived early. I recommend coming as early as possible if you plan to attend Mass. If you’re just visiting to pray or appreciate the place, you can come at any time. The cathedral is peaceful, stunning, and definitely worth a visit when you’re in Baguio.
Gracia G — Google review
As a foreigner, I think this is one of the most beautiful looking church I’ve seen in philippines. Even more than those in Manila. Not only how nice it looks from the outside, but the inside too. It was quite hard to reached here from the side (the steep stairs from session road) but once I’m here, I loved it. I can understand how is this place becoming such an iconic landmark of Baguio City. And turns out, many locals are coming here by cars so not everyone had to climbing the stairs.
Fidela C — Google review
A church where you can pray and light candles. You may visit anytime, a good place to talk with God and at the same time to calm your self from all your worries. White and red candles are available. There is also a chapel. They also have a food court and near porta vaga’s entrance

Nestled on the hills at the border of Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet, Bell Church is a charming Buddhist temple that serves as a hub for cultural and religious activities of the Filipino-Chinese community. Established in 1960 by Chinese immigrants, this enchanting temple showcases Taoist architecture with towering pagodas, lotus ponds, and lion statues. Visitors are greeted by a grand archway adorned with dragons and intricate Chinese inscriptions.
This place really gives me Kung Fu Panda vibes. The Bell Church is a unique and serene religious and cultural landmark located on the border of Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet. It stands as a reminder to the blend of Chinese and Filipino cultures in Luzon. There is an entrance fee of 20 pesos for adult visitors, you also need to pay for the parking

Bell church (from the point of view of a tourist) was far from Strawberry Farm. Via google, it says it is too close but it is not. Ride a jeepney or taxi so you can conserve your energy.

Bell Church is a peaceful and culturally rich spot blending Chinese and Filipino heritage. The ornate architecture, dragon statues, and serene gardens create a spiritual vibe. Great place to reflect, take photos, and learn about Chinese beliefs and traditions in Baguio.

Just a ride away, the Bell Church offers rest and escape from the crowded strawberry farm. I had the best view of valley houses from the top.

Entrance fee is only 20 pesos each. It was fun but also tiring because we had to go upstairs to see more of it. One visit is enough here.

This was the nearest attraction near the event we attended at Magsaysay Avenue. It was a nice find that I chanced upon. I have been to Baguio several times but my first time to visit here. I paid 20 pesos for the entrance fee which was the rate per person and another 20 pesos for the parking fee. I went up flights of stairs to see the big bell, the shrines/gazebo and the pagodas. The view from the top was so nice too. The Buddhist church is well- maintained and flowers were in bloom when I was there. Met foreign tourists as well as locals and a group of students from Camarines . I had fun wandering alone.

Bell Church in Baguio is a peaceful and beautiful place with intricate Chinese-inspired architecture, stunning dragon sculptures, and a serene atmosphere. It’s a great spot to take photos and learn about Chinese-Filipino culture. The temple grounds are well-maintained, but visitors should remember to be respectful since it’s a place of worship. It’s not as crowded as other tourist spots in Baguio, which makes it a nice escape from the busy city. Worth a quick visit!

Wright Park is a lovely place for a leisurely walk among pine trees and flowers. Even on a damp, misty day, it was a delight. There are many friendly souvenir vendors at the top of the hill.
Lisa N — Google review
We visited Wright Park in Baguio and it was a fun and relaxing stop during our trip. The place is well known for horseback riding, and my kids really enjoyed the experience. The horses are well kept, and there were plenty of guides around to assist, which made it easier for first timers. The area itself is spacious with lots of greenery, so it felt refreshing to just walk around and take in the cool Baguio air. The long pool and pine trees made for nice photo spots too. It does get a little crowded, especially on weekends, but that’s expected for a popular tourist spot. What I liked most was how the park captures that classic Baguio feel, simple, family friendly, and a bit nostalgic. 🌸 Wright Park – Fun, Colorful, and Full of Baguio Charm! 🌲 Our visit to Wright Park in Baguio City was such a fun and memorable experience! 💕 Surrounded by pine trees, fresh air, and scenic views, it’s one of those spots that perfectly captures the heart of Baguio. 🎠 The Experience We had the best time walking around the park and enjoying the cool breeze. The highlight? Renting traditional costumes! 👘✨ We dressed up in colorful Igorot and Cordilleran outfits — such a fun and cultural experience! The staff were super friendly and helped us pick and style our costumes (and take pictures too 📸). 🐴 Other Attractions Wright Park is also famous for its horseback riding area — perfect for families and kids. There’s also the Pool of Pines, a beautiful pathway lined with tall trees and a reflecting pool that’s perfect for photos. 💡 Tips • Costume rentals are affordable and make for great souvenirs and photos! 📷 • Go early to avoid the crowd, especially on weekends. • Bring some cash — there are small shops and food stalls nearby with local snacks and souvenirs. ⭐ Overall Rating: 9/10 Wright Park is the perfect mix of culture, nature, and fun! Whether you’re taking a relaxing stroll, riding horses, or dressing up in traditional attire, it’s a must-visit spot when you’re in Baguio 🌿💖

As someone who enjoys being surrounded by nature, this place truly felt like a perfect escape. The trees are clearly well cared for—healthy, lush, and thoughtfully maintained. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world. If you’re looking for a spot where you can feel immersed in nature’s calm, this is definitely worth a visit. The peaceful atmosphere and greenery make it a refreshing retreat from the everyday rush.

Nestled in the hills of Baguio, Tam-awan Village is a reconstructed Cordillera village that offers a glimpse into traditional culture and art. The village features traditional huts, cultural information, and an art gallery showcasing works by local artists. Visitors can explore boutiques offering traditional woven items, textiles, woodwork, and paintings while taking in the lush surroundings.
Why come here: 1. Tam-awan Village is just nearby Stone Kingdom. Before or after visiting the Stone Kingdom which is often crowded, you can enjoy a more realistic mountain dwellers village. 2. This tourist spot showcases different types of village huts, beliefs, traditions and rituals of the mountain people. There is also a mini museum which displays paintings, figures and artifacts. 3. You can also enter one of the huts, but you have to observe the rules. A group of dancers wearing traditional Igorot clothing performs traditional dances for the tourists. The entrance fee is 100 pesos as of dec 2024 for adults it might change today. You have to climb and trek uphill to explore the village. The village is a forest itself and the steps are a bit slippery so be careful trodding uphill or downhill. You can enjoy the nature vibe while learning about the history and culture of the Igorots.

Kinda surprised ahaha I thought it was only a village but a trail also and I wasn’t expected that😅 though we didn’t pursue most of it because the trail was not totally finish especially those on the upper parts of it. But guys trust me the ethnicity vibes there is giving! I think it needs more support and advertising because it have a lot of potential and reminds us the ethic preservation. Best tip advice I suggest to drop-off here first before going down to Igorot Stone Kingdom for a 5min walk only or if you’re from ISK try here and there’s a Karendirya right beside TAM-AWAN VILLAGE serving Local food that you must really try too🫰🏻♥️🥰

Must visit in Baguio City! Immerse yourself with the local arts scene and the indigenous way of living all in one place. Plus, they have a massive garden with a short hiking trail through the mountain side filled with different artworks along the route.

Could have been a better experience if there were attendants ushering guest coming in. The place needs to be maintained more. There were unnecessary clutter in the stops. Hoping they could get more funds to fix the place up. It's a small park and it would have been nice to understand what it's all about but no one was there to explain. Visitors come there from quite a distance hoping to get an idea of the past local history and I was dismayed that I wasn't able to make my daughter learn anything from the visit. Hoping that others have a better experience. Wear mosquito repellant please. Parking: road side. Better not come on a weekend.

It was a nice experience for a 100 peso ticket entrance. A few huts while hiking to almost the top that depicts how it was back then. A glimpse into the past and a taste of culture. It was also nice to see young people dancing traditional dances.

Not a good place to bring people without good balance as stairs are covered in algae and very slippery. It's pretty much a few palm leaf roof huts from different areas, a few places for local art works (some not very appropriate), and a small cafe.

I had visited the Village about 10 years ago. Visited it last Friday. It is not well maintained. I do not recommend it for seniors as the climb is quite taxing. All the native huts were closed and locked. I do not see anything that tells me it is an artists' village.

Camp John Hay, originally known as the Hill Station, has a rich history dating back to the Philippine-American war. It was established as a military reservation for American soldiers in 1903 and served various purposes during World War II, including being an internment camp for Japanese forces.
This place is perfect for a peaceful walk and a little relaxation. It has a really calm vibe, and the best part is that there are comfort rooms nearby, which is super convenient. The weather when we visited was also great—not too hot, not too cold—making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to unwind and take in some fresh air, this place is definitely worth a visit. It’s the perfect little getaway to escape the hustle and just enjoy some peace and quiet.

I was really looking forward to my visit to Camp John Hay, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The facilities were poorly maintained, and I noticed a lot of litter around the area, which detracted from the natural beauty. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful, making it difficult to get information or assistance when needed. Additionally, the activities offered were limited and not as enjoyable as advertised. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I expected much more from such a renowned destination. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

A good place to breathe fresh air and stretch one's legs. You can go and release your stress by hiking the yellow trail (beginner friendly as there are not much up and down pathways, maybe before going to mt. Ulap, you can start hiking here to see if you can endure longer walks) There are picnic areas, activity areas and restaurants.

Every time we go to Baguio it is a must to visit the Good Shepherd to buy the ube jam. We go there on weekdays, that is one of the good decisions that we had because of less tourists. As of this writing, ube jam cost php 350 with limit of 2 bottles per person

Get your Ube jam here as this is the official outlet. Freshest stock at the lowest price compared to resellers. Although expect long lines during peak hours and it is recommended to go morning time. Parking is being actively managed/monitored by helpful guards and its mostly park-shop-and-go in around 15mins or so.

Me and family have been going to good shepherd when i was young. Now that i have a family of my own… we also go here for all of their products especially ube jam. But during weekends and holidays, there so many people… surprisingly when we went on a Monday and no holiday… the ube jam was unavailable. Oh note, compared to when i was younger, they now have a great view of the mine…

When we went here around noon, items were almost sold out Taste: good Staff: good Remarks: Lets wait for the renovation to completed and lets see if theres improvements. Many peps still choose to go in long line for thier authentic products such as ube jams. But I gotta warn you that you can only bought 3 jar (per person) due to limited stocks.

The place to buy the best ube jam in Baguio. They have other selections like Kalinga coffee, lengua de gato, peanut brittle (filled up inside, not just the outside), and so much more. The venue is actually very nice with a good view of the mine's view valley and a mini-park for the station of the cross. It's quite organized now given the number of people buying their goodies and plenty of available parking space. And btw, that's a rainbow tree by the men's CR outside for those who haven't seen one in person 😆

Baguio Night Market, located near Burnham Park along Harrison Road, is a bustling outdoor market open until 4 AM. It offers a wide range of products including clothing, crafts, and secondhand items. Visitors can also enjoy street food such as kwek-kwek and barbecue from the food stalls. The market is known for its ukay-ukay wonderland with hundreds of stalls selling various products.
We visited around 10 PM, and even at that hour, the place was already bustling with people. It was during the first week of July when we came, and the weather added a cozy atmosphere—it had been raining on and off throughout the day, and by nightfall, it was quite foggy with occasional light rain showers. Despite the weather, the area was lively and vibrant. There were plenty of food stalls offering a wide variety of options—from classic street food to local favorites—making it a great spot for late-night cravings. We also spotted several thrift stalls with interesting and affordable finds, perfect for those who love bargain hunting. The overall vibe felt festive and local, and the mix of food, shopping, and people made the experience enjoyable. Just make sure to bring an umbrella or jacket if you’re visiting during the rainy season, as the weather can be unpredictable. This place is definitely worth a visit if you want to experience Baguio’s night scene, especially if you’re up for food-tripping and a bit of shopping.

The famous night market along Harrison Road. The street was completely closed off to vehicles and packed with rows upon rows of stalls lit by bright lights. It was a shopper's paradise with stalls selling everything from shirts, shoes and bags to jeans and all kinds of ready to wear items while all prices far cheaper than the big malls. The place was so crowded with both tourists and locals that police officers were visibly present along the stretch and they calmly ensured that everyone stayed peaceful and in order. It was the perfect and lively end to an unforgettable tiring day on our first night in the city of pines last week.

20251018 - busy and crowded night market that opens at 9 pm and has many stalls that sells many varieties of food, clothes, accessories. Clothes are very cheap as mostly are 2nd hand and in some shops, you can still bargain for discounts. Bought a new short for 200 php. Worthwhile to come to experience food and shopping in the cool weather.

Jampacked from 9-midnight. It was a very great experience especially for my daughter. There were a lot of branded ukays and there were brand new too. The Baguio Museum is definitely an awesome place to go to in Baguio for sure. Not only is it close to Burnham, it's also a very informative museum about the Cordilleras. Teaches you about the origins of the areas, traditions, cultures, and life in general since the beginning of settlement. Definitely would recommend!
Regina M — Google review
I just walk my way here from Burnham Park. It's not that far. Entrance fee for an adult is 100 pesos. My visit to the Baguio Museum was an impressive experience. Its my first time seeing an authentic mummified body of a human. More of that later. While the entire museum offers a deep and fascinating look into the history and culture of the Cordillera region, what truly captivated me were the incredible dioramas. I was so impressed by the meticulous attention to detail they put into the miniature people and their surroundings. Each tiny figure was expertly crafted, bringing scenes of indigenous life, tradition, and historical moments to life in a way that was both engaging and visually stunning. It’s no exaggeration to say these are some of the best miniatures I have ever seen in a museum. The museum also features a compelling mummy exhibit. This is one of the highlights of the museum's collection, and they are very strict about its preservation. Visitors are reminded that taking photos or videos of the mummy exhibit is strictly prohibited, which helps maintain the respect and integrity of the display. This combination of detailed art and powerful history makes the Baguio Museum a truly must-visit destination.

Located at the heart of the city (near SM Baguio Mall), Baguio Museum (entrance fee: ₱100) is a small museum that makes for a good introduction to the history of Baguio, and the indigenous cultures of the Cordillera region, filled with various ethnographic artifacts, such as clothing, tools, and religious items. The most unique and interesting artifact on display is a centuries-old Ibaloi fire mummy (Visitors are NOT allowed to take photos and/or videos of the mummy, out of respect for the deceased.) On the upper floor, there are scale models on the floor showing how Baguio has grown over the century. I highly recommend visiting this museum together with Museo Kordilyera, another ethnographic museum nearby, located within the University of the Philippines Baguio campus.

We are lucky that the special exhibit from June to July happens to be Kidlat Tahimik's works featured internationally. We enjoyed the museum but we hoped that there is somebody giving a tour. The museum can get a little loud from the staff chatting happily with each other. The museum has four floors. There is no lift. i noticed a senior citizen guest who had to take a break going up to the third floor. The museum is packed with the history of Baguio City and the Cordilleran provinces. They have an actual mummy in this museum which you cannot take a photo of. This is a non-profit organization and not government-owned but for a P100 entrance fee it is a must see place when you're here in Baguio. There is limited parking in front of the museum but it is free. if there's one thing I hope they improve is the state of their gift shop. The board members and Baguio have a wealth of artists but the state of their gift shop is just disappointing. I hope they could offer at least post-cards from the old Baguio time.

It is a symbolic site for burying negativism—emotions, frustrations, attitudes, and thoughts that today we would call as "bad vibes." “Negativism is man’s greatest self imposed infliction, his most limiting factor, his heaviest burden,” a marker by the entrance eloquently explains. “No more for here is buried the world’s negativism for all time. Those who rest here have died not in vain – but for you a stern reminder. As you leave this hill remember that the rest of your life. Be More Positive.” It sets the mood and manages the expectations for the visitors. (c) #jonahandpatrick #cemeteryofnegativism #campjohnhay #baguio #baguiocity

Maybe it has already increased, I'm not sure how much is the entrance fee for kids. 3. The words written in the tombstone are funny also the figure itself. If you circle around you might find your negative behaviour. Also, the pine trees added some good vibes. 4. Not that crowded compared to other parks. 5. There is an area for picnic, good for family visitors This is a good experience as a first timer in Baguio.

It is a lighthearted and thought-provoking concept that encourages visitors to let go of negativity and adopt a more positive perspective. The village features a variety of food kiosks offering fusion cuisines from around the Philippines amidst an eclectic mix of installation artworks. The interior is adorned with mosaic tiles, sculptured glass, paintings, handwoven fabrics, and other artistic creations.
The place is really unique, an arts village created by the de Guia family it hosts lots of stores and business in it from restaurants to souvenir and handicrafts shops. All of the stores inside are primarily for the local artists of Baguio to showcase their talents. It has 3 levels the upper, lower and mid part. Each store has their own uniqueness in it with things such as the rabbit sisig and leather handicrafts to name a few. All in all it is a very unique place to showcase the local talent of Baguio and it delivers.

One of the best spots to explore in Baguio! Inside, you’ll find local handmade products, art pieces, and plenty of food stalls serving both Asian and Filipino cuisine. I love how the place feels artistic and a bit old-fashioned. It’s a nice spot to stroll around, shop for unique finds, and try local flavors. Just note that the paths are quite steep and can get slippery when it rains, so it’s not very accessible for older people, kids, pregnant women, or those with disabilities. Still, it’s a beautiful cultural stop worth experiencing! 📜

It’s not just a “place to eat” but a “place to feel” — you’ll walk in expecting one thing (maybe a quirky food stop) and leave feeling you’ve discovered a micro‑world of creativity. If you like art, architecture or immersive spaces that are more than the sum of their parts, this is one to add to your itinerary.
RFSM B — Google review
If you're into art, this place is a dream! It's incredibly whimsical and artistic, with so many cool arts and crafts to feast your eyes on. You'll also find a good selection of cafes if you're in need of a bite. The only downside was that quite a few areas were restricted during our visit. Here's what we sampled: Pesto Pasta from Cafe Cueva - 3/5 Ube Espresso Latte from Kapi Kullaaw - 3/5 Yogurt bowl from Yomichee - 5/5 (Highly recommend this!) A quick note on exploring: watch your step! The spaces can be a bit tight, and the design, with its cobblestone and narrow spiral stairs, might be tough for little ones or people with mobility challenges to get around.

Very artistic, unique, and sophisticated designs. They are so complex and the huge effort for designing the whole building takes a lot of time. I appreciate the recycling of glass bottles and many more things, I love the intricate colorful designs of marble and ceramic tiles. The shops are expensive but they are truly handcrafted and beautiful. Take some visits here for artistic and new adventures.

SM City Baguio is a popular destination in the Philippines, located about 3 hours from Manila City. It offers a unique dining experience at Dine Under the Sky, where guests can dine inside skydomes with clear views of the surrounding greenery and night sky. The area is known for its quiet atmosphere, away from typical tourist spots like Burnham Park and Camp John Hay. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions such as Pink Sisters Chapel and Mines View Observation Park.
Large mall with a mixture of western and local stores, cinema heaps of food and drink options and amazing outdoor terraces that give you a great view of Baguio City and the mountains. Air conditioning to escape the humidity and cool off.
Ricky W — Google review
Awesome place! It’s the perfect spot to relax after exploring the tourist attractions in Baguio. The air is naturally cold despite the absence of air conditioning. There are plenty of food choices, but the best place to stay is at their Sunset Terraces, where you can witness the breathtaking beauty of the setting sun.
Checkerra C — Google review
SM City Baguio is a beautiful mall! The decorations and design are great, and I really like the open-air style. It’s cool and refreshing even without air conditioning. The views around the mall are amazing too! Perfect place to shop, dine, and relax while enjoying the Baguio breeze.
Matt M — Google review
The view deck is really a good place to drink coffee because the it has a nice view either day or night. The atmosphere feels very comforting and feels different than the usual malls that I go to.

Great place to chill and just walk as I always go here after class. The atmosphere and ventilation is great also the shops varies. You can go their even if you plan to don't spend much it's still enjoyable.
Mr. B — Google review
The only SM City that I know of that gets really wet almost to the point of flooding when it pours outside. It is not conventionally roofed like other SMs as this is open-air/alfresco. So don't expect any AC even if it gets particularly warn in Baguio - except inside Starbucks. It is a small mall so don't expect a lot of the usual shops like those in Megamall. You really can't build something bigger although rumor has it they're planning to construct an extension. There are only 4 cinemas...and it's technologically outdated - the seats are old and creaky, the sound system and picture quality isn't as good as other SMs in Metro Manila. The food option is quite limited - in terms of quality that is. Only a few are worth the visit - Banana leaf, Nanyang, James Wright and Chaya to name a few. (Chaya's main branch is still better though). Others are just overpriced and underwhelming. The best thing that this mall stands above the rest is... The view of Baguio. Especially if it's foggy or when the sunsets, the view is just surreal, so spectacular.
Maikeru — Google review
A great iconic SM. Expext to spend 2 to 3 hours to explore (depends on your plans). It's an open air mall so air con is not need. There are plenty dining options at different price levels. There is a cinema and there are musicians and artists frequently. Go to the top for some nice views and pics of Baguio.

Ecological park
Nestled on Mirador Hill, the Mirador Heritage and Eco Park is a burgeoning tourist destination that seamlessly blends indigenous and Japan-inspired activities. Spanning 5 hectares, the park offers an array of attractions including the Rock Gardens, Pandemic Healing Memorial, La Storta Garden, Ifugao Houses, and Circular Seismic Chamber.
A beautiful eco trail park with Japanese inspired bamboo gardens and Peace memorial. This is highly recommended for nature lovers who enjoy a little bit of hiking. The place is situated on a hill and you will encounter a lot of trails lined with pretty flowers and at the top of the hill, the view is amazing. There are lots of instagrammable spots in this park. This is just beside the Lourdes grotto.

Dog friendly but diaper needed (actually any piece of textile around dog back is enough) One of the best places to visit in Baguio - easy hiking with a lot of steps and a lot of place to relax.
Kate S — Google review
It is a perfect place for soul searching. For meditation. For communing with nature. We got lost here, it's a vast area. We were given only 1hour to explore the whole area including , finding the Lourdes grotto. You need a strong knees to stroll the place. The bamboos oh, so perfect ❤️❤️❤️ With 100 pesos entrance fee, so worth it ♥️
Bicolanang I — Google review
We recently visited Mirador Eco Park, and it was such a nice and refreshing experience. The view from the top is amazing — you get this wide overlooking scenery that makes you appreciate the beauty of nature even more. The fog during our visit made the place feel extra calm and peaceful, almost like you’re in a different world away from the city noise. It’s definitely one of those spots where you can just breathe, relax, and take in the cool air. The park itself is well-maintained and has a lot of photo-worthy areas, perfect for those who love nature shots or just want to enjoy a quiet walk. The uphill trails can be a bit tiring, but the view at the top makes it worth it. One thing to note, though — some exits were closed when we went, and if you’re not familiar with the layout, you might end up spending quite some time finding your way out. It’s not a huge issue, but a few more signs or directions would really help visitors. Overall, it’s a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind and enjoy nature. Definitely worth visiting, especially if you love scenic views and fresh mountain air.
Keexz — Google review
It’s a peaceful place with a walking path through a Bamboo garden. The ascending layout winds around quiet spots with lots of places to sit and enjoy the breeze. Good photo spots - particularly the Peace Memorial. There is an entrance fee. You can exit at the Lourdes Grotto. Not for the elderly or those with mobility issues.
J. C — Google review
This scenic hilltop park features a poignant Japanese-style memorial as well as garden paths that lead you to quiet spots where you can enjoy the serenity of the place and the beautiful views. It’s a nice spot for birdwatching, too. While exploring the gardens, I spotted Chestnut-faced Babbler (endemic), Sulphur-billed Nuthatch (endemic), and Warbling White-eye. To avoid the crowds at this popular destination, it’s best visited early in the morning.
Edgar Y — Google review
It was the first place we climbed as a family in our tour in Baguio. It was worth the climb. The view was great. I was not able to take the picture with the bell. But nonetheless we enjoyed every moment with it. A lot of rest stops on the way. A bit difficult on finding our going up and going down. A lot of places to rest from and just the view and have a moment to ponder, I guess that was the purpose of the place. A bit packed with climbers and travellers when we get there. There is an entrance fee. The place was still developing in some areas to expand the experience.
Nelson J — Google review
It's a beautiful place to visit in Baguio but walking/trekking is expected because of how large the map is so bringing water and using the right footwear is recommended. There are many places to visit in this eco park and signages will lead you to reach those places but can also be confusing leading you to go in circles and the exit sign can be difficult to find as their are only a few signs showing it. Just remember to go back to the bamboo forest to be able to reach the exit. There is an entrance fee of 100 pesos but discounts are applied for senior citizens and children under 12 are free. Parking is also available but with a fee.

Nestled in the heart of Baguio, Igorot Stone Kingdom Inc. is a captivating new attraction that beautifully showcases the rich heritage and traditions of the Igorot people. Opened in 2021, this expansive 6,000-square-meter park features winding stone paths reminiscent of the iconic rice terraces found further north. Visitors can explore a unique blend of contemporary and traditional Igorot culture through its impressive structures, including a modern castle juxtaposed with ancient stone walls.
The Igorot Stone Kingdom in Baguio City is both a cultural and architectural attraction that highlights the artistry and traditions of the Cordilleras. Inspired by Igorot heritage and folklore, its carefully crafted stone structures resemble fortresses and terraces, symbolizing strength and resilience. Beyond its visual appeal, the site provides visitors with a deeper appreciation of indigenous culture while offering panoramic views and a serene environment.

The place is great and very cultural. The view is beautiful. We stayed for about an hour. Try to go on off-peak days or look for times when it’s less crowded. Don’t worry if you’re hungry—there are food options at the top, although getting there might be challenging for older folks. Make sure to bring a jacket and an umbrella.

✨ **Igorot Stone Kingdom Experience** ✨ A wonderful place to explore with the family! 🏰 Surrounded by stone walls, terraces, and towers inspired by Cordillera culture, it felt like stepping into a storybook. The kids enjoyed walking around the pathways and taking photos in every corner 📸, while we adults appreciated the effort and artistry behind the structures. 🌲 Fresh air, wide spaces, and breathtaking mountain views made it worth the trip. Best to wear comfy shoes since there’s a lot of walking and climbing. 🙏 Overall, a beautiful reminder of our rich heritage and a great bonding experience. Definitely a must-visit when in Baguio with family. ❤️

Prior going to this, ive read from some reviews that theres nothing igorot in this but i can say that there had been hard work, sacrifices and an established artistry in order to feature such a showcase like this. The place has been massive and you can imagine how many days and nights the workers have done this tirelessly. The only thing that i can observe is that the trees have been cut ofcourse in order to pave the way for this project. I hope they can think of something so that this can be environmentally sustainable. The entrance fee was 3.25cad (October 2025).
Cm C — Google review
I recently visited Igorot Stone Kingdom in Baguio City and I would rate it 3 stars. The place has potential and it is interesting to see something different, but there are still many things that need to improve. First, the area is not yet complete. You can see that there are ongoing works and some sections are still being built. Because of this, the experience feels a little unfinished. There are also only a few parking spaces available. Visitors sometimes have to wait or park a bit far, which can be inconvenient especially during weekends. Another thing I noticed is the lack of a medical team on standby. With a place like this where many people walk around, climb, or go up steps, it would be safer if there were medical staff ready in case of emergencies. I also saw a dog near the entrance bite someone, which really worried me. I think safety and security should be given more attention. The cultural dancers also need improvement. They just laugh and don’t seem to take their performance seriously, so it doesn’t feel very authentic. Overall, the place is nice to visit once, but I hope management improves these areas to give guests a better experience.

A magical mix of culture and creativity! This stone fortress blends Igorot heritage with fantasy vibes great for photos. Sky Ranch Baguio is a must-visit amusement park nestled in the picturesque mountain city of Baguio, Philippines. This vibrant destination offers stunning panoramic views that enhance the thrill of its diverse attractions. With rides suitable for all ages, including an impressive Ferris wheel and exciting adventures like the Sky Cruiser and Flying Bus, it promises fun for everyone. Open daily from 11 am to 8 pm, this park invites families and friends to create unforgettable memories together.
I went here alone on my solo trip to philippines, I already planned to go to this place since months but unfortunately it was raining everyday when I was in Baguio. I was happy bcs they were opened and not too crowded maybe considering the weather were not good. But I had a great time, almost no waiting line sometimes or only queue to one or two people. I bought ride all you can pass so I can go to my favorite rides more than one. Too bad some rides are limited to one time only even tho you have ride all you can pass. And they were kinda lacking staffs so we had to calling out for staff to turn on the ride.
Fidela C — Google review
Appreciate that the rides stayed open despite the rain. Kids had fun running around with no lines. But note that entrance fee doesnt cover anything. Need to pay additional 60-160p per ride. Cash only.
Amy V — Google review
Entrance fee: ₱50. The prices for each ride vary, so it’s better to get an “all-you-can-ride” ticket on Klook or StarDeals. There are also some games, like hook-a-duck. It was fun! There’s only one food stall there. Their restroom is very clean.
Via D — Google review
Loved the bird eye ride! The ticket buying procedure was a tad confusing. Some of the rides were also not working. It’s a nice spot overall, but there isn’t a whole lot to do.

Overall atmosphere is not that special. Not crowded maybe because it was a weekday. We had no rides since we were only few guests. Entrance is 50pesos and does not include the rides, you have to pay separately inside. Cool but the space was not ideal for me. Location is very strategic since it’s beside SM City Baguio.

Area is super small you can go around it in less than 5 minutes. Limited rides as well. I only get to enjoy the Baguio eye. It was a bit awkward to purchase the other rides since there weren't much people and I went solo. Wanted to try the swing though. Maybe next time. Has around 3 open concessionaires for food and a few arcade games you can play.

The Bell House, named after General J. Franklin Bell, is a well-preserved American colonial house located within the boundaries of Camp John Hay in the Philippines. Once serving as the vacation home for the Commanding General of the Philippines, it has been transformed into a modern museum showcasing old architecture and lifestyle. Visitors can explore the interior of this American-designed home, complete with original furniture from its early days. The house also offers a picturesque view of the surrounding pine forest from its balcony.
This place would bring you back to American colonial period in the Ph. You can freely roam inside Gen. Bell’s house. Please don’t trash the place and follow the rules posted inside the house.

It was a sight! Seeing a place this old, being well preserved and kept. I got a few shots here. There were so many other events going on, plus rain.

It's almost exactly like my aunt’s house in the States. The view was breathtaking, and the fog was mesmerizing, the rain only amplifying nature’s beauty. A good place to take a break and enjoy the view.
Yomi L — Google review
The house is named after General J. Franklin Bell, US official who had stayed there in the early 1900s. It was Bell who converted Camp John Hay into military resort. House was built in 1906 in American colonial style. There is not much to see inside. Just some basic furniture. It would be more interesting if there were some kind of information about the place and its residents. Building and surrounding areas were turned over to the Philippine government in 1991 and became open to the public It is still worth a visit as the structure is beautiful. Under one ticket to historic area (85 PHP per adult and 40 PHP for students) one may see The Bell House, Bell Amphitheater, Secret Garden and History Trail. Place is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
Anna K — Google review
Apart from Yellow Trail in CJH, u also have the history trail there which includes the Bell House, Bell Amphitheater, and Cemetery of Negativism. There's an 85 peso entrance fee and seeing how well managed the surrounding area is, I can say it's worth it.

No doubt, a great place to visit when in Baguio. But maybe, they can make the house more engaging to the visitors by posting any trivia about the Bell House. But still, I enjoyed my visit here.
Yahmil B — Google review
An interesting place, the house is well preserved. A little of history: Named after Gen. J. Franklin Bell, who was sent to the Philippines during the Philippine-American War, the Bell House holds historical significance. Gen. Bell played a key role in transforming Camp John Hay into a renowned military resort. Once the vacation home of the Commanding General of the Philippines, the Bell House has now been converted into a modern museum that showcases old architecture and lifestyle. Surrounded by picturesque gardens, the entire place exudes a colonial charm.

It's a lovely spot for those seeking a nature-filled escape. Lush with towering trees and pleasantly uncrowded, it offers a serene atmosphere. While there's an entrance fee, discounts are available for students, seniors, PWDs, and Baguio residents, making it accessible to a wider range of visitors.

Nestled in the heart of Baguio City, the Baguio Mansion House, also known as The Mansion, serves as the official summer residence for Philippine Presidents. This stunning structure boasts beautifully manicured lawns and gardens that are open to visitors, making it a must-see on any Baguio tour. Originally built in 1908 and later restored after wartime destruction in 1946, its architecture draws inspiration from Buckingham Palace with a touch of Spanish Colonial Revival style.
Presidential Summer House, a quick stop to check out one of classic point of interest in the city. Wright park is across the street where free parking can be located. A short walk of the fountain row has a deceptive pic view that it’s part of the Mansion.

There’s not much to do at this spot aside from picture-taking. There are only a few trees near the gate, so expect it to be very warm especially at noon. Entrance is free. Public access is inside the Presidential Museum only, though I was not able to go inside.
Checkerra C — Google review
The Mansion is one of Baguio City's most iconic landmarks, and it's definitely worth a quick stop if you're exploring the city. Located just across from Wright Park, it's a picturesque spot with a rich history and charming colonial architecture. The gate itself is the most photographed part — it’s grand and well-maintained, and gives off a very regal vibe. Unfortunately, visitors aren’t allowed to go inside the actual mansion unless there’s a special tour or event, but the view from outside is still beautiful. There’s a small museum near the gate that gives a bit of background on the property and its significance as the official summer residence of the Philippine President. My favorite spot: the fountain

While the tour is informative and does include some interesting historical information - the tour guide treated the 30 minutes walk almost like a school trip. Rote chatter with an emphasis on trivia. You are only allowed to take photos in the main reception room. The tour is free - of the 20 who booked only 5 actually turned up!!
HeatSand C — Google review
If you're here to just take a photo of the Baguio Mansion Gate or to do a tour, remember to drop by at the Baguio Mansion Visitor's Center. You can buy souvenirs that bear the seal of the Office of the President. If you're here for the tour, then the registration and orientation happens there. We booked a week before our tour visit. Booking ahead is recommended but they also accept walk-ins if there's are not many people in the tour. The tour starts from the Visitor's Center going up to the mansion. Senior citizens and people who have a hard time walking may request to use the golf cart. Tour guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes before the tour. The tour starts on time and lasts for about an hour excluding picture taking and buying of souvenirs. Photographs are allowed only at the front door and presidential hall. The tour is about the history and presidency of the 17 Philippine presidents. Some people may have differing opinions about particular presidents but the purpose of the tour is about celebrating and highlights of each president. At the end of the tour, you have an opportunity to send a letter to the incimbent president and buy more souvenirs. Our tour guide, Message, was kind enough to take pictures of guests in front of the Philippine flag and seal. This tour is barely one year old. it only started last September 2024. We have some Americans during our tour who pointed out some errors in the timelines of American presidents. Our tour guide said that they will review the inaccurate information.
Ia L — Google review
A guided tour of the Mansion is free. Max 20 persons per group. Register beforehand, online booking is 3 days. Walk-ins are allowed as well.
Paul A — Google review
The Mansion House opened to the public as a museum of presidential history in September 2024. Today my husband and I took a tour of it led by Leisley Frias, who was knowledgeable, professional, and engaging. There is a separate exhibit for each former president of the Philippines, complete with photos and artifacts. The exhibits are bright, fresh, and visually appealing. The building is beautifully maintained. I particularly enjoyed the flooring throughout. Lovely watercolor paintings of every First Lady adorn a hallway. There is, of course, a large exhibit dedicated to the current office holder, President Bongbong Marcos. Visitors are invited to write a letter to President Marcos; our tour guide indicated that all letters are delivered to him. Photos and videos are not permitted in most areas of the museum, as is standard practice in many museums we’ve visited in various countries. It would be nice to be able to purchase a book about the museum that includes photos, as a memento; I hope such a book is planned for the future.
Lisa N — Google review
The Mansion serves as the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines. Built in 1908 during the American colonial period, it was heavily damaged during World War II but later restored. Over the decades, it has hosted various official events. The Mansion is open for guided tours from Tuesday to Sunday, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. While walk-in visitors are accepted, advance reservations are recommended. Tours are conducted exclusively with a guide, last approximately 45 minutes, and are free of charge. Inside, the exhibition showcases all Philippine presidents from the country's establishment to the current leader, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who has the most extensive dedicated section.

Café by the Ruins is a beloved establishment that captures the hearts of both locals and visitors alike. Nestled amidst the remnants of a garden theater from World War II, this charming café offers an enchanting al fresco dining experience steeped in history. The rustic atmosphere complements its menu, which features traditional Filipino dishes reimagined with local ingredients.
Stepping into Café by the Ruins felt like walking into a living canvas—walls whispering stories, food plated like poetry, and coffee brewed with soul. Every bite was comfort laced with artistry, from their signature bread to bowls that carried flavors of Baguio’s roots. The ruins don’t just hold history—they hold warmth, a space where creativity, community, and cuisine sit together at the table.

Finally got to the dine on this top rated restaurant in Baguio after 3 attempts On my last 3 attempt, twice was because there was a long queu in the waiting list already, the other attempt was we were already seated but took 40-50mins. And our order is still not served so we walk away. So when i got back in Baguio we tried to go super early. There was no one outside waiting and so many empty seats inside, but we were still told to wait - a clear sign this restaurant really lacks manpower. Hope we can call out the owner for this. Recommend going here super early in the morning like 7am. Food - the reviews were very true, everything we ordered tastes good and healthy. Even the coffee was superb with classic local sweetener and not your usual commercialized white sugar. Your order also comes with fresh fruits Price - little bit pricey on the side but definitely worth it. Ambiance - very homey and laidback. Staff - courteus and helpful ** TIP - if your coming here and already hungry, eat somewhere else. Timing and patience is key. They are understaffed so bring a little more kindness to them.

Café by the Ruins used to be one of my favorite spots in Baguio, but my recent visit was a bit disappointing. The food tastes quite different compared to a year ago, and there have been a lot of menu changes even the bread isn’t the same anymore. The place still has that rustic charm, but perhaps because of the rainy weather, there was a damp smell inside.

Worth visiting for the view, atmosphere and service, though the food could be improved

It’s been a while since I last visited Baguio, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Café by the Ruins now has a branch right in the city center. The location is convenient, the space is roomy, and it gives off a laid-back, casual dining vibe. As expected, the crowd picks up during peak hours, so lining up for a table is pretty common. During my visit, I tried their suman with chocolate (which I really enjoyed!) and their champorado, which for me could use a bit more flavor. Service was on the slower side, but hopefully that improves over time. Overall, it’s still a nice spot to check out if you’re craving the Café by the Ruins experience without heading too far out.

We were 11th on the waiting list but able to get a table for 2 after 10mins wait. The area has lots of artworks! Most are for sale also. The lights are functional sculpture/art pieces also. We ordered the mountain and river salad - solo. The size is actually good enough as an appetizer for 2. 1st time to try a salad with watercress and grilled shiitake mushroom- super sulit! We had the vegetarian ravioli also. Not sure if it's a mainstay on the menu but it's also quite good. And the last one is the rice meal with bamboo shoots, ham, chicken. Tried to check the menu online but can't find it. It seems they update their menu every few months. Another reason to visit this place again.

The sanctuary provides a cozy and homey atmosphere, allowing visitors to witness butterflies up close.
We stopped in here to see some butterflies and actually had a pretty good time. It's not super exciting, but there were some pretty butterflies and they were actively flying around and a couple landed on us.
Aaron R — Google review
It was foggy when we went here so the butterflies were mostly on the flowers and not flying around. You can see butterfly eggs here and different kinds of butterflies. The place is small so expect that just 6-10 people might make it feel crowded especially if you like spacious areas. No touching of butterflies Seasons and weather could mean lesser butterflies to see Entrance fee : 80 pesos as of September 2024

I think this is a place to go if you have a toddler. For bigger kids, they would not be impressed, but for our then 4 year old, he was so interested to see the butterflies and really enjoyed seeing the different stages. You are not supposed to touch the butterflies, but if one lands on you, you can let it rest. Don't touch them because the wings are super fragile. One landed on me and my son really wanted to feel how it feels and the caretaker was nice enough and knew how to handle them enough to put som on top of his hands. It really tickled him and made his day. If you are in Camp John hay with a toddler, it's a nice small place to go into but don't expect anything fancy. It's like a small secret garden.
UnDiplomatic W — Google review
Sad to say that only one species here left as the caretaker said because there were many others before. It’s a P50 entry fee and it’s not that big of a place. We just enjoyed the few butterflies left. Not wheelchair friendly area and the restroom is just beside it for a fee also so prepare your coins and cash here.
Joel D — Google review
The sanctuary's small, around 10*12m (not accurate but close to that area). I love how homey and cozy it is especially since the butterflies are used to humans rummaging around. Sadly, I saw a visitor swat one of the butterflies and let it dying on the ground. To those who'll visit the place, please warn and control your children, and follow the rules. Not sure if some people will find the 70php entrance fee expensive, but for someone who enjoys a different view once in a while, it shouldn't be. Ages 2 and below are free.
Dexter A — Google review
The attendant and parking guard are very nice and accommodating and were very helpful. The Butterfly Sanctuary area is not that big, and is good for one small group tour at a time. I think there were 8 people inside including us and it's a little awkward to move around. There are a lot of butterflies but some of them are damaged, mejo nakakaawa panoorin na lumilipad pa rin kahit sira-sira na ang pakpak nila, but still good for little kids who want to see them upclose

Nestled in the serene suburbs of Baguio, the Maryknoll Ecological Sanctuary is a hidden gem that invites visitors to connect deeply with nature. Established by the Maryknoll Sisters after a devastating earthquake in 1990, this sanctuary pays homage to the beauty and power of our natural world. Guests can embark on a unique 'Cosmic Journey,' exploring 14 stations that illustrate the universe's creation and our interconnectedness within it.
A place to unwind and relax. A good place for couples, friends and families. Pets are allowed inside. There's a wide space for parking. There's an entrance fee and a guide where to go. Lots of views to see especially if you're a nature lover. The place will bring you to the past/ history of the world. Some of the stations show the ruins which are one of the best places. I LOVE the place. It will bring PEACE OF MIND , HOLINESS, & CALM YOUR HEART. It's really a sanctuary place.
Rhovy — Google review
It really is an underrated destination in Baguio. U can definitely commune with nature and get peace from this haven. Most of the path are paved but it's better to ensure that u have comfy footwear with good grip esp. when it's raining. There are around 14 stations, 2 of which are man made mini-caves. Highly recommending this esp. for those who prefer less crowded places.

Maryknoll is an underrated gem in Baguio City. When I visited, I felt at peace surrounded by nature's beauty, carefully crafted into stunning landscapes and unique spots. This is an ideal spot for those seeking a quiet space and embracing solitude. However, it's best to avoid visiting during rainy days as it can get slippery, and some areas like the bridge and cave may require extra care and maintenance.
Julianna T — Google review
It's a really cool and unexpected gem. If you like being surrounded by nature but still stau close to the city, then this is the place for you. The place is practically empty, so you have the entire place for yourselves. It feels like you're transported in the middle of a forest with plenty of scenic pircture spots and lots of places to rest and just feel the wind and nature. There is an entrance fee of 100php but with no time limit.

Maryknoll ecological sanctuary is about ecology education on how the world forms and why we should take care of it. There is not much to see but every station ( there are 14 stations by the way) has a big lesson to learn, if you want visual history with serenity, here is a best place.

Redzel's Baguio is a small shop located along Legarda Road that offers delicious ube halaya and strawberry preserves. The ube halaya, or purple yam jam, has gained popularity on social media due to its rich purple color and is used in various desserts. Customers can enjoy a complimentary taste before making a purchase and witness the jam and preserves being made in the kitchen on the side. The products are not overly sweet and have excellent quality.
I have been passing by Redzel everytime on the way to my Condo but it was only today that i discovered that the Ube Haleya that Baguio can be proud of is just nearby. I just ordered the smallest bottle but the day isnt over yet and its almost finished, its that Good! And the Sweetness Level is just Spot On. Definitely my Favorite Ube Haleya now! And no long lines too! Ube Haleya last only 3 days at Room Temp but it will not even last a day! Lasts 7 days in the Fridge.
Vic M — Google review
Take note: December 29, 2024 at 3:10PM We just bought total 6 bottles (2 ube flan + 4 ube). But the lady who sold to us was NOT approachable! It is disappointing! She is so much different from the previous personnel who handles the onsite selling. She exudes the aura that we owe her in buying the ube! She does not smile. Ube Flan has remaining 2 bottles but she keep asking how many bottles we will buy! When we buy 3 then she say only 2 left! Moreover, amidst buying 6 bottle, we ask for extra small ecobag and she gave us zip lock plastic! Why??

I found the place via ads just in time during my short stay in Baguio. It's a small shop just along the Legarda Road. They offered me a complimentary taste first, and I loved it. It's fresh, and you can see their kitchen on the side making the jam and preserves. It is not too sweet and the quality is excellent! This will be my new go-to place for pasalubong :)

I read a lot of positive reviews with their ube and strawberry jams! It has different taste compared the other local jams here in Baguio. Smoother and richer. Keep in mind that the shelf life is only 3 days coz it has no preservatives. If inside the fridge, 1 week.

Know before you buy Shelf life ube halaya - 3 days at room temp Starwberry honey jam - 1 week room temp 1 year in the fridge Not a strawberry preserved fan but, their jam was so good. It tastes still fresh. (Free taste when you go there) Bank tranfer, gcash and cash only (no card) I suggest you go there on your last day to keep everything else fresh

A great place to bring kids! My son enjoyed exploring the place. We paid P250.00 for 2 adults and 1 kid. Twas worth the visit! *The road going up is STEEP and it's one way. They do have a parking space but be very careful when you drive up the place. *Coffee shop is still being built as of our visit. Maybe it'll open very soon

Moving around the place is a great exercise. Climbing stairs and going around and under boulders. Visited several times so I’ve seen the newer additions to the place.

It is a hidden spot to chill. The road going here is a bit narrow but parking space is available for those who visit with their cars. Some of the animals are still being constructed/ painted but most parts of the place are available to see . It is very cute and you can step inside some of the animals mouths and pretend to be eaten. The kids enjoyed it here. They were amazed by the art and creativity that was put to this place. The air is fresh and I loved sitting at the mushroom table.
Eka M — Google review
Cement sculptures attached to the rocks. It could be attractive for the kids maybe. In the dry season (beginning of February) and most of the plants in bad shape it looked upsetting. Half an hour is enough to finish the whole trail with stops to take photos Entrance fee is 100 php.
Anna K — Google review
From town, we jogawalk going here (5.6km). It's more or less 200m away from the main road. There's an entrance fee, 100.00 for regular while senior and students are discounted. There's a parking area. I love how the place was maximized as it's not the usual wide ecopark size I expected. Rocks were made into creative stone sculptures you will surely enjoy especially if you're a fan and young at heart. There's a hanging bridge, a wall to climb, a cave to enter and more. Place is instagramable for me. They do have a snack house but with very limited options (instant coffee, soda, water, juice, biscuits and instant noodles). Hope they add more. Admins are kind and accommodating. If you go here, bring snacks and own car (dogs every kasi along the way going there from main road) Will I go back here? Yeah after sometime.
Sheena G — Google review
I had the opportunity to visit the place in 2021 and found it more enjoyable compared to the present. While there have been many improvements, the untrimmed plants vines create a congested atmosphere and may obstruct your path, especially when it rains and your clothes may get wet. Additionally, there is a section of the place that appears to be closed, possibly due to ongoing renovations. In the past, there used to be food vendors on top, which I greatly enjoyed. However, currently, there are no food vendors available. Nevertheless, you can still find a few snacks at the registration area. I hope that there will be further improvements and maintenance in the future.

I recently visited Wright Park Lake, and it’s such a peaceful spot in Baguio! The place is surrounded by tall pine trees and has this calm vibe that’s perfect for relaxing. The lake itself, also called the "Pool of Pines," isn’t really for swimming but more for admiring. The reflections of the trees on the water are just so pretty, especially early in the morning when the air feels fresh. What I really enjoyed was the horseback riding nearby! There are so many horses to choose from, and they’re all decorated with colorful saddles—it’s super cute. It’s a fun activity, especially if you’re traveling with kids or just want to try something new. The area is also great for taking a stroll. I loved walking around and just enjoying the fresh air and nature. Plus, there are local vendors selling snacks and souvenirs. If you go, make sure to try the strawberry taho—it’s a must!

I finally hiked Mt. Pulag last March 17, 2024. It was my ninth mountain so far, and this is one of the reasons why I began hiking. It's true that Mt. Pulag is incredibly beautiful in person. The feeling of witnessing the sunrise while feeling the cold simultaneously is truly unique. It's a surreal experience. I plan to hike it again, probably next year in January 2024, but this time via the Akiki trail.

I never imagined that I would be able to climb Mt. Pulag. Although it was on my bucket list, I didn’t expect that I’d get to climb it in 2025. Mt. Pulag is absolutely mesmerizing. The hike was long, but every bit of exhaustion, sweat, and hunger was worth it. Once you reach the summit, all your tiredness just disappears. Definitely worth the trip. And maybe there’ll be a revenge hike to see the Sea of Clouds.
Brigette C — Google review
We took the ambangeng trail going to mount Pulag.. luckily on that day, there was a clearing and it did not rain. Going up to the mountain has different elevations which causes different species of plants to be seen.. first one is the pine trees, then you will see the mossy forest or the rain forest. Then you will see small bamboo trees. Lastly, the grassland. Then the summit of mount Pulag. We hiked starting at 1 am. We reached the summit at 5 am. So going up and down would take 8 hours but it can also take longer or shorter depending on your speed, strength and endurance. P.S - there are many trails. The trail we took is said to be the easiest trail but it was tiring. Akiki trail takes about 10-12 hours.

Jesi ( — Google review
The place is somewhat Okay, it is really small so there is nothing much to do beside just taking one selfie and going. There is no good spot to take a picture beside the statue. The place is clean and good but there is not much in there.
Briane B — Google review
Statue that represents the Igorot tribe that originally inhabitated the Mountanious province of Luzon like in Benguet, the province of Baguio City
Cris T — Google review
It is a small people park in the heart of Baguio City. There are benches and everyone is welcome to sit. This is where you can find the Cordillera Freedom Monument which was sculpted by Toym De Leon Imao. It is less than a hundred steps away from Burnham Park, Veniz Hotel and Melvin Jones Grandstand. It is across Plaza Garden where you will need to walk at the overpass to get across the park.
Billie D — Google review
it's a great landmark! Memorable and easy to locate since it's in the middle of Baguio Centro or the 0.0 km. A good place to meet up especially it's in the middle of the city and known by the locals. it's a good staring point 👉 since it's right next to Burnham Park, Abanao Square, Majarlika Building, Baguio City Market, and Lower Session Road. It is also near jeepney stations going to Bakakeng 🚘 Don't be shy ask the locals for directions ⬆️👆, they are willing and glad to help. also, since it has a circle, sometimes cultural performances are being held there. PS. if you like/play chess, you can find good people there that you can play with
Rōnin B — Google review
Have benches you can sit around while waiting for someone. Very accessible to public transportation.
Anne P — Google review
It is well lit at night. The statue in the monument mirrors the Igorot people in the Cordillera Mountains. We took our time taking pictures and enjoying the park. South is the Burnham Park. West is the eateries of Burnham. East is the Session Road. North goes to the Baguio City Hall. North East is the Baguio Public Market.
John R — Google review
I will give it 5 stars coz this place looked the same ever since it was built. There were just statues that was added and some minor improvements. But what can you do in this place? None. LOL.

Waterfalls
Bridal Veil Falls is a stunning natural attraction located along the Kennon Road to or from Baguio City. The area offers breathtaking views of the majestic waterfall and the surrounding mountainous landscape. To get up close to the falls, visitors can cross a hanging bridge that spans 150 to 200 meters across the river. While there is no entrance fee, a voluntary donation of PHP5.00 is suggested at the bridge's entry point.
Discovered the falls by chance taking the long way home from Baguio. Very nice discovery
Thomas O — Google review
August 2, 2025 10 pesos entrance fee. I was shocked! Nobody is asking for payment. That 10 pesos is more of a donation. The caretaker explained that the 10 pesos is more on the salary of the cleaner. Please no littering. Water is clean. I smelled it and it doesn't smell like adulterated water. It came from a clean source of water. The water is not that cold. Ice water is colder 5x. It's best to visit after summer, preferably after the rainy season in order for you to enjoy the water volume. It may dry up during summer. March to May. The hanging bridge is a great experience. Pocket your phone to make sure it won't slip and fall into the ravine. There are steps created to easily access the pools of the falls. Do not try swimming into the main pool, or if you're brave or fool enough, then you can try. There are 2 accessible pools before the waters empty into the ravine. We stayed there. Rocks are all over which made the pool shallow but there are some crevaces. Be careful! The only problem here is the shed faces the main pool which made it wet all the time. There are 4 seats before the gate of the house. You can put your belongings there. People are honest, I mean the people of Tuba, so watch your belongings. If the Kenon Road is close, they get less tourist. I'm lucky enough to be with my friend. We enjoyed the place to ourselves.

The waterfall must look impressive in the rainy season. However, as we visited it in mid December it didn’t carry much water. The waterfall is pretty high. No precise information but it has more than 100 meters., The name of the waterfall comes from the fact that from afar, it looks like a very long white. For the time being, the waterfall might be admired only from the road. The hanging bridge connecting the road and a view deck on the other side of the river is closed for renovation as it was declared unsafe to cross.
Anna K — Google review
The bridal Veil Falls can be seen if you take the route Kennon road to or from Baguio City. Things that you see in the vicinity is the majestic bridal veil falls and mountainous area surrounding it. If you wish to see the falls close then you need to cross the hanging bridge across the river which is 150 to 200 meters long. There is no entrance fee however, a donation box is available at the entry of the bridge that costs php5.00. There is a rest room as well with minimal fee of php5.00. If you are hungry a cozy restaurant with a wonderful view is available along the road. Downside is limited parking space, it can only accommodate 3 to 4 vehicles.
Joely R — Google review
It was a weekday around noon. I had a stopover at this lovely spot on the way to Baguio. There was hardly anyone at the time of my visit. Entry is free, but there is a donation box at the start of the bridge, so any contribution is purely voluntary. It's pretty scary to walk through the bridge. One can see many patches of work while walking toward the other end. The waterfall is magnificent can spend some time there taking pics and taking a bath if you are good at swimming. Parking can be done at the sides of the road for motorcycles, but for cars, it's tricky.

So Pretty! Next time, will take a dip! Points for Improvement, though: Provide a clean, spacious Restroom (even if one needs to pay foe upkeep) Provide a clean spacious Changing room for swimmers. Clean up and expand the view deck Provide better seats Provide hand rails for seniors. Make steps more senior-friendly.
SHEILA R — Google review
Very beautiful. Sign at entrance was confusing. Stated not open but bridge was open and people were below the falls. We took it to mean that there was no swimming allowed below the falls.
Phoenix F — Google review
Beautiful waterfall along historic Kennon Road. Cool walk across the bridge. Don't look down!

Nature & Parks
Rizal Park is a small but charming city center park located in Baguio City, nestled between two busy streets. It features lush ferns and grass beds where locals love to relax after a stroll. At its center stands a monument of the national hero, Jose Rizal, with inscriptions about his life. The park offers clean and well-maintained seating areas for visitors to unwind and even provides restroom facilities.
Beautiful park and lots of people with cute dogs. Great for hanging out or waiting for a friend when you think the burnham park is too big and tired of walking.
Emmanuel D — Google review
It's a great place to hang out while waiting. The area is very clean and there is a pay CR which I appreciate. It is quite mediocre when it comes to aesthetics. Other than that, It is stillcaptivating and is worth the time visiting the area.
J — Google review
Very scenic and great ambiance for a park. Monumental place for our hero .. clean surroundings.
Andrew T — Google review
Just in front of the capitol and burnham entrance. Rizals monument with tall trees and beautiful landscapes. Clean and open for everyone. Though theres no chairs and designated area to sit and to standby, people love to standby here because it's clean. this becomes a popular landmark for meetups.
Jofer C — Google review
Stayed here for a moment while waiting for jeepney. It’s clean, spacious (lots of room to sit).
Luka S — Google review
Publicly-open space. Absolutely a nice recognizable place to wait for someone, like a meet-up place before heading to a transportation terminal, etc.
CABANGEN, A — Google review
