This is, without a doubt, one of the best science museums I've ever visited. It perfectly blends education with pure, hands-on fun. We spent over four hours and could have easily stayed longer. The highlights are endless: the thrilling 3D science show, the planetarium that made us feel like we were traveling through space, and the vast collection of interactive exhibits on physics, energy, and technology. The "Fun Science" gallery had both kids and adults laughing while learning.

Dropped in at Sardar Patel Museum today. Artefacts are well preserved, and the atmosphere inside is peaceful. The planetarium show was informative; narration clear. Lighting is good, displays labelled properly. Staff courteous. The only small downside: some maps could use updates. Worth spending an hour or two here if you like history

4 weeks ago A great and well maintained place to visit. Now run as a museum, learned a lot about Sardar Patel life depicted with help of dioramas and different exhibits. There's also a vast library with books written in different languages on the ground floor.A must visit place in surat

It’s next to the Science centre and the ticket is included with the science centre’s. It’s all about biology stuff in the museum. It was great!

One of the peaceful place to visit here. Place is good. Don’t litter. Authority should inspect here as saw few wrong activity as few were indulged in drugs consumption during late night.

The Dutch Garden in Surat is truly a beautiful and historic place. This garden is famous for its ancient heritage and peaceful atmosphere. The experience in this garden was superb , specially the toy train was amazing to ride , also to sit by the lake side which gives u natural quite feelings , the rides which we used to have in the fair , overall the experience was too good.

Old dutch garden have best view of river and city, but due to no maintenance and care it becomes worse, major drawbacks is no parking space, and no security guard, due to no security beggars, and lukkhas are rome in the garden, don't go with kids and family's.

Had an amazing and truly rewarding experience at Surat Fort! The restoration is done beautifully and the place is full of Surat’s history — from stories of trade with Europeans in the 1600s to fascinating artifacts. I was surprised to learn that the fortifications actually started in the late 1300s. What made my visit even more special was meeting Mr. Sumesh Modi, the historian-architect researched the fort and led its restoration. Listening to him talk about the history and the behind-the-scenes restoration process made the visit unforgettable. Highly recommend spending 2–3 hours here. It’s a perfect way to explore Surat’s rich heritage and admire its stunning architecture.

This reconstructed fort is in good condition. Entry fee is rs100/-per person. Open at 10am close at 5pm. Very nice fort to see with family and friends. There is various types of musiums in the fort ie canons pistols coins sculptures ancient War things wardrobes etc. Though this fort is in guirat sultan time it get value in English reign. They reboot strong fort here. This is first English factory in India. Price worthy place to visit.

The restoration work was massive. The place is like a museum itself with many artifacts. But you cannot roam freely as you wish even if you want a picture you don't have time as oftenly they force you to continue the visit. There are many restricted areas in outside places whereby only outside front view of the fort is allowed. It was good as a museum visit but I wanted to see the core structure of a 5 century old castle and fort which they denied access for security issues as some parts are still under renovation which I can understand but for restricted outer space I think it mainly because they don't want you to see the small slum behind the fort or garbages. Overall good experience but can still improve.

I went to the fort without any expectations as it looked small compared to forts in Rajasthan or Maharashtra. There is an entry ticket of 100INR. The Govt. has done a fabulous job of renovating and maintaining the fort. Once you enter the fort, follow the instructions of the security guard and visit each room in that order. The fort has beautiful collections of coins, stamps, ivory, furniture, jewellery, etc. in the different rooms. The history of the fort is shown in a video at the start as well as a display with information and pictures.

One point I didn't like was the location of the main temple, it is on the first floor. So it becomes nightmare for old or handicapped people who cannot climb the stairs. A ramp should be installed for that reason.

Located in the middle of city. So anyone from surat can visit it. Amazing sites for fun. But it is very busy place. There is lot of traffic in and outside here. But overall it is a good place.

The design and craftsmanship are noteworthy, showing the effort and skill of the architects in creating such a landmark. However, during my visit, the place felt eerily empty, giving off a slightly haunted vibe. There were hardly any other groups or visitors exploring the area, which made the experience feel quiet and somewhat lonely. While the site itself has great potential as a tourist attraction, it seems that management has not been able to attract enough footfall to bring the place to life.

Went to Gopi Talav this evening. Fountains are working, nicely lit, people walking around enjoying the view. Food stalls around are small but serve decent snacks. The lake area is cleaner than before, though some corners still need attention. Seating available; nice place for couples or families to spend time after sunset

One and only zoo in Surat city. Not that much big and maintained. But ticket price are also Affordable 30.Rs for adults and 20 for children. Good for Childers to see animals like Tiger,Lion,Hippo,Deer,crocodile, Bear etc. Need some improvement in cleanness and maintenance. Most disappointing thing i saw that People are Giving food to animals. This should be strictly prohibited. Overall experience was average.

I recently visited Sarthana Nature Park, also known as Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherji Zoological Garden and had an amazing experience. It’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Surat, surrounded by greenery and full of life. The moment I entered, I felt like I had stepped into a calm, natural retreat away from the city noise.The park is quite large, so it’s perfect for people who enjoy walking and exploring. I saw a variety of animals — lions, tigers, deer, crocodiles, Bear and many colorful birds. The animals seemed healthy and active, and the enclosures were clean and spacious. The butterfly garden was a nice touch, offering a quiet space to enjoy nature up close. For those who prefer not to walk the entire park, the electric cart ride is a great and affordable option.I was impressed by how well-maintained the park is. The walking paths are shaded by tall trees, making it comfortable even during the hotter parts of the day. Entry tickets are very reasonable price. Whether you visit with family, friends, or just for some personal quiet time, it’s a place worth spending a few hours in. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Surat for a refreshing break in nature.

Kids will enjoy, but needs major improvements The zoo is extremely crowded with poor cleanliness and no proper guides or facilities. While kids may enjoy seeing the animals, the overall experience needs better management.

Visited Sarthana Nature park with my young kids after a long long time. Entrance, Exterior is very promising. Inside, disappointed with the care & maintenance for animals, cages , facilities etc. Cart person said Rs.500/- for 50 min ride as there were no other ready to hire. Cages needs renovation, Hygeine improvements, Cleanliness, Signboard needs colour, looked like Animals sp wild r not fed adequately. No drinking water, no canteen. Main Attractions were: Lion, Leopard,Tigers, Black Bear, Hippo, Crocodile,Deers, Peacock. A Good place needs better maintenance for sure. Worth visiting once for kids.

I visited this Aquarium as part of my Surat sightseeing during Christmas vacations of 2024. The place wasn't too crowded. I felt that the entry fees is relatively high. The aquarium is operational and hosts a variety of fishes including some sharks. A really large variety of fishes in all sizes and shapes and colors can be seen here, spread across 2 floors. The place is quite well maintained on the inside but I'd say if some renovation is done on the outside too, especially at the entrance stairs then this would be a good place to spend some time.

On a Thursday afternoon, there were hardly any visitors. The ticket charges (₹ 100 per person) appear prohibitive. There are several sections in the aquarium. Many types of fish in different Glass tubs. Mostly, this is like all other aquariums. Some sections appear to be closed to the public view. Best thing is that the whole complex is nicely air conditioned. Very comfortable when outside weather is quite hot.

Musium is very beautiful and is entertaining place for children as well as adult. A Must-Visit Spot in Surat for Families and Kids! Visited Jagdishchandra Bose Municipal Aquarium on a weekday with kids and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. Located right within Surat city, the place is well-maintained, clean, and fully air-conditioned — a perfect retreat on a warm day. Entry tickets are reasonably priced at ₹100 per person, and there’s ample parking space too. The aquarium itself is quite spacious and offers a rich variety of sea life. Tanks are clean, well-lit, and neatly labelled. Kids and adults alike were fascinated by popular attractions like the shark, sea snake, stingray, and turtles. What really caught everyone's eye were the rare, colorful fish species — many of which kids were excited to recognize from their school lessons! The highlight, though, is the life-sized whale skeleton, beautifully preserved and displayed. It’s incredible to learn that this whale had swum up to Dumas Beach before it passed away, and the authorities have done a remarkable job preserving it for educational purposes. . Would have given full 5 Star, but the maintenance is not acceptable - the facilities are available. . The Whale skeleton kept outside is not photographically optimum. . Most of the operational water chambers are clean and good for the camera. . Better to use high speed shutter for fast moving fishes (1/400 to 800) - then edit a bit . ❌ Toilet is very badly maintained. . A few chambers are kept empty. . Recently I Visited Sneh Rashmi Botanical Garden in Surat is a large and peaceful green space located on Ugat–Bhesan Road, along the banks of the Tapi River. It was inaugurated in 2011 and is maintained by the Surat Municipal Corporation. the garden features over 1,000 types of plants, including ornamental, medicinal, and tropical varieties. There’s also a cactus greenhouse, lake, and themed zones like Herbal Forest, Nakshatra Van, and Bamboo Woods. Families enjoy attractions such as the toy train, hot air balloon ride, and small amusement rides like Columbus and Crazy Jump.The garden also has clean walking paths, picnic areas, and kids’ play zones. In short, Sneh Rashmi Botanical Garden is Surat’s favorite nature escape—perfect for walks, family outings, kids’ rides, and peaceful relaxation in a lush environment.

The park is named after Kavi Jhinabhai Ratanji Desai  (1903–1991), who was a Gujarati language author and Indian independence activist. He was popularly known by his pen name Sneh Rashmi. Very big park. There is a water body in the middle of Park. The water is dirty and full of algae, it's green in colour. The children amusement park including toy train are not functional. The condition of train track is bad and may be not used for over a couple of years. Even in October, the Sun is very bright and hot. Most of the benches in shaded areas were taken by boys and girls enjoying themselves. Good for them. Entry ticket ₹23. Luck Fastfood is actually a small Stall selling some food items. The park has several well defined areas like " Medicinal plants". The Cactus and bonsai plants appeared not being taken care of. Park is past its glorious years and needs large scale maintenance. This has great potential.

Beautiful Botanical park with in the city of Surat, Gujarat. Entry fee is Rs.23 which is seems to be relevant aa far as this Park size & activities inside are concerned. Entrance is beautiful & Park size area wise is huge. Toy train is there but is not in operation. Medium size Kids Park is available with in this Park. Huge Green coloured pond is there & it could have been better, if there is boating service available. Several points have been available but looks like not properly watered them & trees or plants are almost dried. Still, this is good place for outing, picnic with family & friends.

It is an amazing secret kinda green biosphere in the outskirt of Surat city towards Surat Airport, on the Silent zone road. Densely forested, natural huge pound with many birds and butterflies. And even snakes, so be careful while walking across! One has to visit it in early morning to explore this natural treasure trove. Had a great experience, saw many interesting science stuffs and space things.

One of the worst museums I've been to. 1) The building itself isn't designed as a museum, it is a brutalist style building with raw finishes that houses a few exhibits. 2) Poor amenities on site, including dirty toilets. 3) Food and drinks were not allowed on site, so we were hungry and thirsty for the 2+ hours we were there. 4) Exhibits were poorly oriented and displayed, seemed like an after thought. 5) Many of the video rooms and screens were shut. Dust accumulating on the exhibits. 6) Hardly any seating, we stood for hours inside. Suggest not to go, instead read about whatever interests you online.

We visited this on a sunday evening & had no waiting at all. The staff is good. Prices are 400 per head based on height for unlimited time. You cannot go back in if you come out for anything. So better is to complete your washroom visit first before visiting this. Additionally, people hardly stay inside this for 30mins, beyond this its hardly enjoyable, because its -5 degress & damm chilled. The place is good for one time experience, after 15 mins, almost everything feels very cold. They change the lighting, music, turn on disco lights so its fun experience overall.

One small room having snow. They have managed to to show the snow man, slide , igno and lots of snow on floor to make you feel like you are at place where snow fall was happen. More over you can’t stay more than half n hour. They will provide gloves, jacket, woolen cap, gum boots. Don’t remove any cloth inside as there is temperature near below 5 degree. This is one amazing place you must visit in Surat. The Fort is recently restored and is now open for visitors. The fort is maintained very well. There are volunteers inside the fort to guide you. You will find museums with ancient artefacts inside the fort. The fort is built with Portuguese architecture. Enjoy great views from the top. The entry ticket is approximately Rs. 100/-. I suggest to visit in the morning, so that you have ample time to see the fort. The closing time is 4 in the evening. It takes approximately 2 hours to explore the fort. Plan your trip accordingly.

Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) is a socio-spiritual Hindu faith with its roots in the Vedas. I visited the Temple at about 6.15 PM in October 2024 and the main lock of the Temple was closed. But i liked the experience. There was a notice board telling, in Gujarati, the timing of door opening. Translated version is also given in photos added. The Temple complex is quite big. Looks like they have arrangements for staying in rooms. Restrooms are available. There is also a shop selling religious items.

My visit to Kisna Nature Park was an amazing experience! The place is full of greenery, calm vibes, and a close connection with nature. I got to see a variety of animals and birds — especially holding an iguana and interacting with the beautiful parrots was the best part! 🦎🦜 The staff was very friendly and helpful, explaining about the animals with patience and care. One of the oldest park in the Surat city. In past when there were only few Park at the time it was only beautiful garden in the City. But now it is found occupied by Muslim community all the time. Every time whenever I have visited in each corner you are going to find Muslim community most of the belonging to all surrounding areas. All the playing equipment as well small places to play or set occupied by them. Moreover garden not much clean.

Place is good but the security guard is so rude. He was forcing to pay 20₹ even I was not visiting this place. I just park my bike beside the road (not main road near Dahimanagar that is not inside the pay & park) & he start talking for ticket even though he is not the SMC allocated vehicle security.& he don’t have any booklet for parking bill.

Toy train and boating is major attraction. Not very well maintained. Could have been better in terms of cleanliness. Outside it is written that outside eatables not allowed, but actually most people coming in groups carrying food and eating inside loitering the place.

Simply one of the most beautiful and well maintained garden in Surat. Walking and running track is very nice and there is lots of sitting space. There is lots of greenery and parking is also spacious. I will rate it as the best garden of Surat as it is having the most wonderful mud running track which is not available in any other park of Surat.

The park is well designed and mainly suited for elderly people. There’s a small play area with a slide, see-saw, etc., for younger kids. But for early teens or older children, there’s nothing much to do. Playing games like badminton or even light football is not allowed, as per the security staff. So in a way, the park doesn’t really serve its full purpose for all age groups.

This is the best garden we’ve visited in Surat—it’s beautifully developed and very well maintained. The plants are in great condition, and the space is thoughtfully divided into different sections for everyone. I think this is the best garden in Surat. The plantation is beautiful and very well maintained. The walking track is made of red soil, which is much better for walking and running than tiles or concrete. The atmosphere is also really peaceful and pleasant.

Must visit park in Adajan area. After redevelopment, it is one of the greenest park with lots of different types of plants and trees. Ample amount of seating space for group, family and couples! Proper maintenance is being taken care by park maintenance team. Neat and clean toilets. Parking area is good for two wheelers, but not for four wheelers when busy.

It's a marvelous garden in Adajan near to surbhi dairy .have a nice seating arrangement and also walk way is nice and u got lots of type plants who can give a good oxygen. As started they put water and also sprinkle water at walk way and now at summer season they are not maintained anything even they not pouring water in plants and tree also. Even walk way is so dirty ... Most of the tree leaves are become yellow and fell down but nobody can clear that. It's not even this place everywhere is dirty. I've been a member since a long time now and I have to say that is the most perfect library you'll find in Surat. There's a huge space for students to study and work too. It's really hard to find food anywhere at this time due to local government rule. But if you are hungry there is no any place than this as it's ultimate n non comparable.

The whole environment, including the temple and compound were very cleanly maintained. . The idols and rituals are very different when compared to Sound Indian Temples, though the system is the same. . We spent some time and the atmosphere was very devine.

recently visited the beach and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the sound of the waves was very relaxing. The sand was soft and clean, perfect for walking barefoot. The water was clear and refreshing, great for swimming. There were also a few food stalls nearby offering delicious snacks and cold drinks....

Enjoyed a lot, however the management of rides were very poor. People were pulling and pushing, it was taking lot of time and discipline was not there among the staff. Worst of things was post the enjoyment, got a viral infection from the water, the treatment should be improved. The rides are great, thrilling and very enjoyable. The most enjoyable one was the cobra.. for a budget friendly place, this is a thrill to go to.

The average waiting time for all rides was just 15 minutes, which is impressive. The rides themselves were fantastic; however, the food was disappointing. At those prices, I expect a much better taste and quality. Make sure to bring your own clothes, as there are no rental options available inside. You will need to purchase any items from their souvenir shop.

The best water park in South gujarat. Also it has a variety of rides which covers every age group. Also the management is very nice. The food is decent but expensive. Nice place to enjoy with your friends/family in summers. Overall experience was good. I visited on Wednesday still it was crowded maybe because of wat-a-wednesday. A variety of rides are there including the thrill and family rides. But that dropping ride is closed since long time which was disappointing. Aqua imagicaa water park surat Hi my name is md Asad I went to the water park on 15th August. Buy one get one free was going on. I was checking the ticket online and it was showing for rs.899 and when I went there you took rs.1061 rupees from me. Cotton clothes don't work here, pants jeans shirt don't work here, only linen slim clothes work here. If you don't buy this thing then you will have to buy something else from there . All the rides here are fine, it is fun here. You have to wait for 15 to 20 minutes for the ride. The food here starts from Rs.250 which seemed a bit too much to me. If you visit, do visit during some festival.

One and only zoo in Surat city. Not that much big and maintained. But ticket price are also Affordable 30.Rs for adults and 20 for children. I recently visited Sarthana Nature Park, also known as Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherji Zoological Garden and had an amazing experience. It’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Surat, surrounded by greenery and full of life. The moment I entered, I felt like I had stepped into a calm, natural retreat away from the city noise.The park is quite large, so it’s perfect for people who enjoy walking and exploring. I saw a variety of animals — lions, tigers, deer, crocodiles, Bear and many colorful birds. The animals seemed healthy and active, and the enclosures were clean and spacious. The butterfly garden was a nice touch, offering a quiet space to enjoy nature up close. For those who prefer not to walk the entire park, the electric cart ride is a great and affordable option.I was impressed by how well-maintained the park is. The walking paths are shaded by tall trees, making it comfortable even during the hotter parts of the day. Entry tickets are very reasonable price. Whether you visit with family, friends, or just for some personal quiet time, it’s a place worth spending a few hours in. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Surat for a refreshing break in nature.

Kids will enjoy, but needs major improvements The zoo is extremely crowded with poor cleanliness and no proper guides or facilities. While kids may enjoy seeing the animals, the overall experience needs better management.

I visited tapi river front but it is having one problem that it is not like sabarmati riverfront here you can not find water of the river....It's really management less work...It's just like the walkway nothing else still you can visit here hope municipal corporation will see this issue and try to solve it...

We recently hosted an event at the Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium in Surat, and overall, the venue has its merits. The stadium offers convenient facilities, including ample parking and water coolers, which made logistics and guest comfort easier to manage. However, there are several strict mandates that need to be followed to hold an event here. These include: 1. Three layers of carpeting across the entire area. 2. Acquiring various licenses and NOCs from relevant authorities. 3. A music license, among other regulatory requirements. While we ensured that all these rules were followed to the letter, we encountered some challenges with the stadium management. Despite adhering to the mandates, the stadium authority, Mr. Jani, seemed dissatisfied throughout the process. There were ongoing issues with the staff, and at one point, we were even asked to lower the volume of the music, seemingly due to personal concerns from Mr. Jani. While the venue offers a solid infrastructure for events, the Mr.Jani attitude and the excessive scrutiny make it a less-than-ideal choice for large-scale gatherings. It’s important to be prepared for the hurdles and potential friction with the authority if you decide to host an event here.

Stadium maintainance is an issue fully air conditioned and good venue to host events.

Recently(23-05-2025) have been there with family. Had a great fun as always. But have some complains. 1) Water was not that clear and was muddy in some of the rides which were located at 3rd and 4th floor!!(specially because it was opened after brief period of maintenance, I was expecting a more clear and hygienic water.) 2) We had entered the water park as soon as it was opened but still some of the rides were not started yet. I've asked the on-spot personal to start all the rides but was not received well and it was opened nearly after an hour.(Slides located at 3rd and 4th floor) 3) Food was ok ok. Chinese food was good while regular Chole puri and pav bhaji was not in good in taste. Overall had good time with Family. Park management should work better on the quality of water and food as well.

I visited Chab Chaba Chab Water Park, but at that time the entire park was empty. The park was open, but there were no people inside. We were only two visitors. When we saw that there was no one and the staff informed us that a few activities were even closed, I didn’t feel like going inside and left the park. Therefore, I cannot share my experience of the park from the inside. However, the condition of the park at that time did not seem very good. Even though it was October, and Surat usually experiences considerable heat, the entire water park was empty. I cannot provide more information because I didn’t get to go inside.

Also known as Chab Chaba Chab Water Park, Water Fun Park is situated in Hazira Road Surat. The park boasts of several fun filled rides and roller coasters. One of the most famous parks in Surat, it has lockers, changing rooms, parking and a food court. Personally I don't like costumes and locker service. My Favourite Thing to do here is enjoying the wave pool. And They Don't have a lift to enjoy the 3rd or 4th floor ride so I'm a little disappointed and also in some rides they also don't have proper air tubes 😔 so we want to wait a lot for enjoy every rides. Also in ₹800 Ticket you get a limited lunch like pav bhaji fried rice Veg Biriyani manchurian noodles Puri bhaji And some local cold drinks here.

Very enjoyable place. Water park is awesome there lots of different types of water rides, but many of them are looking older. Canteen facility is also fine. Staff members in Water park are little slow. Fun Funta Fun is very unique place there are many modern and unique rides

Along with water park, lots of rides are there open at 4 pm till 7 pm. Food was awsome. Some kids rides were not running. Apart from that experience was awsome.

We visited it today only. It was an amazing experience. Place is cool and reasonable! Rides are not that boasting and mesmerising like Aqua Imagica but you will surely enjoy... Good exposure and discount for groups. Staff is supportive and cooperative! We had good experience at least. Restaurant food is good in taste and quality. Unlimited lunch, good brunch and high tea is served in a package and you have options also to choose. You require cash card to buy initially only otherwise inside no cash is allowed at any shop.

Park has ample amount of greenery by the walkway. Good Children play area and benches. Although, no dedicated parking space. Garden lake is not maintained well enough. Lots of Illegal encroachment at the main gate road.

While passing through this park, I could not see the lake. The location shown on the map was same. There were two tracks running parallel to each other.

It’s really very well maintained and very polite people roam around ! Very beautifully designed the garden with all the benches and walk way path ! Pal Lake Garden is situated in Adajan in Surat. The garden has a jogging track to facilitate morning and evening walks. In addition to that it has umpteen shady trees, stone benches, play area for kids etc. Many people Come With For enjoying &Chill out Here.

I love this Garden! Today is my first visit at this place nd it's give me goosebumps. in this winter morning the lake is filled with Fog🤩. Atmosphere is clean and Energetic. People walk, run, Doing exercises and Yoga in this garden. Bridge is set middle of the lake. SMC Toilets Placed at near entrance of garden.
