Shangri-La Plaza is a well-maintained and cozy shopping destination in Quezon City, Manila. The mall offers a pleasant and safe environment for visitors to walk around, shop, dine, and run errands. It features various shops and dining options, making it an ideal place for both regular shoppers and passersby. Additionally, the mall provides clean comfort rooms with hand soap and tissue in every cubicle.
✨ Comfort food at its best! Pasta cooked perfectly, sauces taste fresh, and those breadsticks are always addicting 😋🍝 Cozy vibes + friendly staff = perfect spot for foodies like us. Definitely will visit again. Thanks to Ate Joyce for taking good care of us.
Lhen B — Google review
The ambience is different from the other malls I have visited - more relaxing. Though it would help if there would be a seating area where its clients can rest, especially the senior citizens, pregnant customers and PWDs. The restroom has more complete amenities, though it would be much better if the cubicles had bidets. Their atrium has a well maintained fountain for Mall goers to enjoy watching. Overall cleanliness is excellent.

Just had an amazing meal at Olive Garden Shangri-la! Everything was super tasty, the service was quick and friendly, and we left feeling totally happy. Big thanks to Ryan and Tina for taking such good care of us. Definitely recommend it!

Unli soup, salad and breadsticks at Olive Graden was worth it. Serving for the Entrees was also good and enough for solo serving. Kuddos to Dhien and Tina who assisted us. They are accommodating and attentive to our needs, and they gave me a complimentary dessert for my birthday.

Great spot if you want luxury rooms with great beds and pillows with the convenance of 3 awesome restaurants with quality food From here you can walk to the malls with eveything you need. Service is good too. Laundry a bit over the top, they must use some the best machines 😎

We had such a great dining experience at Olive Garden in Shangri-La! The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was warm and inviting — not too cold like some other branches. What made our visit extra special was our server, Apple. She was incredibly nice, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. Her friendly attitude and excellent service truly stood out. Plus, she's so pretty too! Thank you, Apple, for making our visit memorable. We’ll definitely be back! 😊🍝💚

I’d like to give a big shoutout to Kate from Olive Garden she was incredibly nice, accommodating, and polite throughout our visit. Her warm and attentive service made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was excellent too great ambiance and delicious food. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

It's a relatively high-end mall with stores from luxury brands and premium fashion boutiques. There are still stores that cater to basic goods, but generally, the Shangri-la Plaza Mall is not for the budget conscious and bargain hunter. Nevertheless, the food court at the lower ground level is a good option for diners.

SM Megamall Building A is a massive, non-air-conditioned mall located in Ortigas, bustling with crowds seeking fake brands, jewelry, and colorful artwork. It is one of the largest malls along EDSA highway sprawled across Pasig City and Mandaluyong City. The mall consists of three interconnected buildings - A & B and the Fashion Mall. Visitors can find hundreds of restaurants, fashion shops, specialty stores, and even a chapel for mass.
SM Megamall is massive! So many stores, restaurants, and fun spots under one roof. Loved the mix of local and international brands. Clean, lively, and perfect for shopping or just chilling. The ice skating rink and cinema added a cool touch to our visit!
Dr S — Google review
It's ok overall, it has a huge selection of stores, including an IMAX cinema and an Ice ring. Things that could be improved would be travelators to help with the long walks from one shop to the next. Although rental electric scooters are available at the lower floor of building A. Things I didn't like where the lack fo good air-conditioning at the top floors, we really shouldn't be sweating in the mall. Sadly several doors on levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 lead directly to the parking lot and are occasionally left open allowing lots of toxic car fumes and pollution in. On my last visit only on level 5 and higher the air felt clean, as well as at the basement near Dunkin Donuts and the Timezone area. Personally i feel it's the most polluted mall I've been to in the NCR, according to how many floors were affected, followed by the lower floors of Farmers Plaza, One side of SM Fairview and The Parking Side of SM annex which affects about 1/3 of all the floors of SM Annex North Edsa. Double doors, Air Curtains or Complete Closure of doors leading to the parking lot on several floors can really help make the indoor environment more comfortable.
Ligolas K — Google review
October 2025 One of the country's iconic and once largest mall complex. It has a very manageable layout and often is the one stop mall in the area. Now undergoing a lot of renovations. It's payday sale weekends are often popular and also causes massive traffic. Nearby malls are all walking distances.
Oliver P — Google review
SM Megamall is an incredibly spacious mall that truly lives up to its "mega" name. You'll find a massive selection of stores/merchandise and also lots of restaurants offering different cuisines. Its location is super convenient, being right by the Ortigas MRT station, and it's also act as a transport hub with terminals for fx, buses, and jeeps heading to places like Binangonan or Batangas.
Besinga, P — Google review
Liked extremely the safety for pedestrians walking and crossings, with wider footpaths, safe crossings with pedestrian refuse integrated in design apart from enforcement for vehicles on signals and pedestrian crossings.
Amar K — Google review
The side of SM Megamall close to the MRT Ortigas Station with entrance leading to the vast supermarket. The Chapel of the Eucharistic Lord is located at its 5th level. The mall has a neat, compact layout where each floor level has similar array of shops and boutiques. Megamall is among the nostalgic malls '90s kids fondly remembers and even had a name parody, Megamol, as title to the 1994 comedy flick starring rapper Andrew E. and showbiz megastar, Sharon Cuneta.
Si T — Google review
This mall almost have it all. Easy to shop and great variety of shops and restaurants to choose from.

Flea & Street Markets
The night market in Greenfield is a great place to explore affordable food options and hang out with friends. There are hundreds of stalls selling everything from street food to specialties, and it's always buzzing with activity. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is fun and festive. It's an easy place to find, even if you're not familiar with the area. Plus, it's dog-friendly!
Lively market with lots of food options and live music. Pet friendly, open late, but didn’t see any alcohol for sale, had to visit the bar across the street. 😁

Went to the two (2) foodparks inside this place and ate some foods. I loved the strawberry banana yogurt shake which cost 168 + 30 pesos for additional yogurt.

Can get super noisy. Food is ok and affordable. Lechon was great though..

Good market. I liked the vibe. Just wish there were more food options. Ordered Lechon with Rice for 160 PHP.

I am writing to provide feedback and a suggestion regarding the Weekend Night Market, which I have had the pleasure of visiting recently. I have noticed a recurring issue that I believe warrants your attention. Due to the current weather conditions in Metro Manila, which include frequent localized thunderstorms and rain, the Weekend Night Market is experiencing reduced attendance. This situation appears to be exacerbated by the limited number of umbrella tents available for market-goers. As a result, many visitors are unable to comfortably stay at the market during inclement weather, which in turn impacts the experience for both visitors and vendors. To address this issue and enhance the market experience, I would like to recommend the following: 1. Weather Forecast Monitoring: Implement a system to regularly check weather forecasts, particularly leading up to and during market days. This will help anticipate rain and allow for timely decisions regarding additional cover. 2. Increase Umbrella Tents: Consider adding more umbrella tents or alternative cover solutions to provide better shelter for visitors. This could significantly improve the comfort level of attendees and encourage them to stay longer at the market. 3. Communication with Vendors: Ensure that local sellers are kept informed about any changes in weather-related policies or additional shelter provisions. This will help them prepare accordingly and potentially mitigate any negative impacts on their sales. By taking these steps, I believe the Weekend Night Market can become more resilient to weather conditions and provide a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I hope these suggestions are helpful, and I look forward to seeing the continued success of the market. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Nestled in the vibrant Ortigas area, Duck & Buvette - Shangri-La is a delightful fusion of Filipino and French culinary traditions. This charming restaurant offers a cozy yet chic atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for post-work dinners, weekend gatherings, or special celebrations with loved ones. The menu features exquisite Provencal dishes that are beautifully crafted without being overly pretentious. A must-try is their signature duck confit, which truly shines among the offerings.
My husband and I decided to try this place while looking for something new, and we’re glad we did! We started with the French onion soup, followed by the Duck Ragu Pappardelle—both were delicious, but the Duck Ragu was especially outstanding. I highly recommend it! The service was warm and accommodating, making our dining experience even better. We also loved the restaurant’s ambiance, complemented by beautiful artwork that added to its charm. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Went here for a quick dinner. Food: We had the pizza bianca (recommended by a friend) and the duck pasta. Both very good! The pizza is creamy and not too satly. While the pasta was tangy and tomato based. The pasta noodles were amazing and cooked nicely. Service: very quick service and our food was served within a 15 minutes. Atmosphere: clean and relaxed. A nice place to stay for a while and chat with your friends.
CABS — Google review
Came here for dinner on a weekday night. There a couple of customers, the place looks pretty good after the renovation. I ate here a couple of times before the renovation so I wanted to test if it was the same after. The prices were the same as before the renovation so that was good. I ordered the angus brisket. My dish arrived in about 15mins later. The brisket itself was tender and easy to cut. It was flavorful and was quite smokey. The gravy was savory and was thick enough to coat the meat but not smother it. The mashed potatoes paired very well with the brisket. It was light and fluffy but it still had chunks in it to add some texture. All in all its all good meal in will try the other dishes some other time.
H F — Google review
Duck and Bavette has been a consistently great restaurant at Shang Mall for many years. It’s one of my go-to places whenever I’m in the area. My recommended dishes are the pappardelle duck confit, Angus meatballs, and roasted cauliflower. Since we’ve been there many times, I would love to see new dishes on the menu. I’ve tried almost everything, and I’m eager to try any new additions.
Jose A — Google review
The french onion soup was absolutely delicious. The 8 hour angus brisket could have been a little more tender, but the mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes were excellent. I'll definitely come back and try other dishes next time.
John C — Google review
Overall we had delicious food with points for improvement on some dishes. We really liked the Goat Cheese Ravioli, the filling was very rich and flavorful. It had vegetables as part of the toppings. I would come back just for the ravioli. The Crispy Potato appetizer was also good. The potatoes could be seasoned more to make it better, but the cheese on top added to the flavor. The potatoes were layered and crispy, which made it nice to eat. The Rustic Chicken salad was unique as well since the chicken was not just grilled on its own, but with spices and sauce. So this added a lot of flavor to an otherwise plain salad. Would recommend trying this as an appetizer. The Duck Confit was great. The duck was crispy on the outside, very tender on the inside. The rice was like garlic rice and paired well with the duck. But the skin, even if crispy, didn't really have much taste. So I'm not sure if there's a way to improve it, but that was the only lacking part for me on the dish, since the gravy fits well with the meat already. The 8Hr Beef Brisket was just okay. It didn't really taste that different from any other place. The beef could still be softer. But the sauce and the mashed potatoes were the best part for me of the dish. The Mushroom and Shrimp appetizer came with bread. The bread was good. But the mushroom and shrimp felt it lacked flavor as the oil didn't taste like much but overpowered everything else so it lacked flavor. Then I wouldn't recommend the Maple Bacon Pizza Bianca. This was our worst order for the night. The Bacon was so sweet and basically overpowered the whole dish. You couldn't really taste anything but sweet. This was a shame for me, because the crust was pretty good. I would suggest to order any other pizza other than this one, it might be much better.
Aud S — Google review
Got their pork belly. It was just alright, just tasted like lechon kawali with a balsamic glaze. The truffle pasta was just ok as well, lacked salt. French onion soup wasn’t bad, wish it had more bread and cheese. The beef burgundy was pretty good though. I liked the sauce, although it tasted more like gravy than what i was expecting.
John V — Google review
This is a great upscale French restaurant serving authentic French cuisine. Was not disappointed with the flavours of the dishes that we ordered. Most were commendable. We were seated outside but the space still feels cozy and private. Would try again sometime.

San Felipe Neri Parish Church in Poblacion, Mandaluyong City is a historical sanctuary amidst the city's modernity. It stands as a testament to the area's spiritual heritage and offers solace from urban hustle. Despite its location on busy streets, it remains a peaceful place of worship with a grotto devotion area for Jesus Christ near the entrance. The church is spacious, equipped with amenities like TV streaming, and has a large parking lot suitable for events like weddings.
Very spacious parish. We’’ve been attending Simbang Gabi here for two years and never all homilies by the assigned priests per mass are worth listening to.
Vince P — Google review
Nice beautiful church. The priest sermon is good too. Ventilation is ample. Choir is good as well
Geh D — Google review
Beautiful and old looking parish dedicated to Saint Philip Neri located in Mandaluyong City. While it’s not the biggest church, it is quite long. The church exterior gives off a slight gothic feel because of the 2 bell towers and the old looking walls. The interior is beautiful with art covering the walls with a beautiful central altar. The church has a good sound system. The mass service was amazing. Recommend visiting if you’re in Mandaluyong.
Ramcel C — Google review
The oldest church in Mandaluyong established by the Franciscans dating back to the 19th century. It was a witness to historic events involving Katipuneros of the Phillippine Revolution to Guerillas of WWII. The Church is ideal for weddings due to its bright interiors, painted ceilings, marble floors, colorful tile mosaics and spacious patio/parking with a century old acacia tree. The main door is made of carved wood decorated with details from San Felipe's life. When the door is closed, a small indoor space is left which is perfect for the bride's dramatic entrance since she wouldn't have to wait outdoors. Enshrined in the antique retablo are the images of Mary the Immaculate Conception, Patroness of the City as well as San Felipe Neri (Titular Patron) and San Francisco de Asis (Founder of the Franciscan Order). On the left transept is the Baptismal Font and a retablo with the first class relic of San Felipe Neri, also famously known as the Patron Saint of Joy. Here parishioners and pilgrims can pray to the Saint particularly for the grace of joy and strength in trying times. A Statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is located outside near the main entrance. Tree shaded benches are placed in front of the statue for those who want to pray outside. You can also find votive candle stands for offering prayers. Candles of different colors and flowers are available from vendors near the statue. They look organized since there are stalls built for them so they are located in just one place. There is an air-conditioned Adoration Chapel near the Church for those who want a more intimate prayer experience with God. Shoes are not allowed to be worn inside as a sign of reverence to a sacred place.
Eric P — Google review
One of the oldest Church in Mandaluyong, situated in the traffic-prone busy streets of Boni Avenue, near Aglipay St. The entrance road is a little bumpy, and may easily crowded even weekdays. There is a grotto devotion area for Jesus Christ situated near the entrance/exit gate, where you can buy candles from the nearest vendor, and lit in the designated area of the grotto. Color candles at P4.00 each, has designated symbol of petition, provided in the peddlers. There is no problem with encashing money, since two ATMs, one is the BDO and PNB, available online. At the back of the Church is the crypt, consisting of columbaries used to store urns fron cremated remains of departed love ones.
Leandro B — Google review
Spacious church, has TV for streaming so everyone even at the back will be able to see and hear the priest. It has a huge parking lot, great for weddings. They close the doors when the Bride is about to enter. Beautiful church.

A gem in the heart of the cacophony of Shaw and the cities of Pasig and Mandaluyong, this place was once filled with warehouses and pharmaceutical institutions which has now been renewed into this delightful oasis filled with fairs, food trucks, open air markets and parks. Loving the vibe and the atmosphere.

This place used to be called Edsa Central that catered to middle class consumers. Now the place is a mixed-use development with office towers, residential condominiums, retail outlets and parks catering to more discriminating markets. The district also includes the Unilab Perimeter Walk, the interconnected sidewalks enclosing the Unilab compound. Almost a kilometer long of uninterrupted, no street crossing route suitable for runners, joggers and walkers.

I'm thrilled to see that the Christmas vibes have just started at Greenfield District! With their track record of creating a magical atmosphere, I’ve experienced the festive lights, markets, and entertainment. Greenfield District is sure to be the go-to place for a joyful and memorable holiday season.
Jahleel A — Google review
By Metro Manila’s standards, this area is fantastic because there are plenty of open spaces and food options. However, I wish there were more trees and that the sidewalks were wider or unobstructed. Also, more pedestrian crossings. In terms of safety, this area feels very safe especially since it is near a police station as well as a fire station. In terms of convenience, there are no issues too because there are nearby malls, pop-up shops, and the transport options are plenty. You may hop off the train at Boni or Shaw station, or you may ride a jeep along Shaw Boulevard.

It's nice to relax here at night; the place is spacious and cool because of the many trees. There are plenty of seating options. There's also a food bazaar for those who love food trips.

Nice little park away from the busy traffic having play ground for kids large rock garden and plenty of seating under shade of many trees If your feeling hungry there's a few cafes restaurant along the edge of the park On a weekend night they have a food hub market supposed to be very good 👍 I was there morning and they were just preparing the market

There is no longer a proper Greenpark area for both dogs and people. The sidewalks are too narrow, making it difficult to brisk walk or jog. Some parts of the sidewalks are also poorly lit, even though they are within Greenfield.
Artjohn G — Google review
One of the few green spaces in the area. Not really a big park but large compared to other green spaces in the middle of the city. Went through a period when the grass became a bare patch of dust but has been restored with the addition of a bit of concrete lattice to protect the grass. The market in the weekend is also nice.

Fort Santiago is a historic defensive fortress located in Manila, Philippines. It was originally constructed in 1590 by Spanish conquistadors on the site of a pre-Hispanic king's palace. The fortress has been restored and now serves as a museum and public park within the Intramuros district. One of its main attractions is the Rizal Shrine, dedicated to national hero José Rizal who was imprisoned there before his execution in 1896.
Fort Santiago is a wonderful historical site in Manila that’s full of stories and character. The place is well-preserved and offers a great glimpse into the country’s past, especially about José Rizal and the Spanish colonial era. Walking around the fort, you can enjoy the peaceful gardens, old walls, and beautiful views by the river. It’s clean, well-maintained, and informative, with signs that explain the history clearly. A great spot for both locals and tourists who love culture, history, and photography. Truly a must-visit landmark in Intramuros!
Michael K — Google review
A magnificent fort situated near Chinatown which is great for a day trip combining the both. We can hear during the All Saints’ Day which was great. Less crowd for us to truly immerse ourselves with the history and greenery surrounding it.
Sue G — Google review
Fort Santiago is arguably the most vital historical site within the Walled City of Intramuros. Standing sentinel at the mouth of the Pasig River, this military fortress is a captivating blend of Spanish colonial architecture and Philippine national memory. It is a must-visit for anyone seeking to understand the country's turbulent yet heroic past. The atmosphere here is truly evocative, especially as you walk through the massive stone gates and across the peaceful grounds. While beautiful and tranquil today, the Fort's historical significance is profound—it was the site of dungeons, barracks, and, most famously, the final prison of the national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, before his execution. Visitors can trace his last steps, marked by bronze footsteps embedded in the ground, an incredibly moving experience. The ruins of the barracks, the beautifully maintained gardens, and the spectacular views over the river offer a perfect balance of reflection and historical appreciation. Fort Santiago stands as an unwavering monument to the Filipino spirit, telling a powerful story of oppression, resilience, and ultimate freedom.

Fort Santiago is one of my favorite spots in Manila — peaceful, green, and full of stories from the past. You can really feel the Spanish-era atmosphere walking through the old walls and gardens. The museum inside is small but interesting, and the views by the river are lovely. I recommend going early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat...for me the weather was magical: sunny & at the same time raining. Definitely worth a visit if you love history or just want a nice quiet walk in Intramuros.
Souad Y — Google review
We enjoyed our dontskipmanila tour of Fort Santiago and surrounding historical spots. I gained more appreciation about our history and what our heroes did for our nation. I gained additional knowledge. We had our foreigner boss to tour around. I think the kids will also enjoy the tour. When I visited before with no tour, I didn't appreciate it much. When we had the tour, it was much better.

Fort Santiago is a must visit landmark in Intramuros. Built in 1593, this well preserved fortress offers a deep look into Manila’s history and features a dedication to national hero, José Rizal. A meaningful and educational stop for anyone exploring the city.

Went inside Fort Santiago and paid Php 70 for the entrance fee. This place is good for school trips too. I haven’t tried the guided tour and I heard it was great but my mom and I just DIY’d our trip. Took pictures everywhere but these were the only ones I captured that was without our faces.

Me and my partner visited Fort Santiago in Intramuros and it was one of the highlights of our Manila trip. The place is very well-preserved and full of history, especially with its strong connection to Dr. Jose Rizal. We enjoyed walking through the old stone gates, exploring the dungeons, and strolling around the gardens which gave a peaceful contrast to the historical atmosphere. The Rizal Shrine inside was very informative and allowed us to learn more about the country’s national hero. We also appreciated that the grounds were clean and organized, with plenty of spots for photos and relaxation. Visiting here truly felt like stepping back in time and gave us a deeper appreciation of Manila’s heritage. Highly recommended for anyone who loves history and culture.

Restaurant
Vikings Luxury Buffet at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong is a top-notch dining destination known for its extravagant international buffet spread. This restaurant offers an extensive selection of Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, and Western dishes including pasta and pizza. The unlimited servings and wide array of desserts make it perfect for grand celebrations with friends or family. Visitors are encouraged to arrive with a hearty appetite as the experience promises to be indulgent.
Vikings buffet SM Megamall. The favorite staple buffet of the Filipino people. I am still floored with how they are able to serve at least 1000 pax in a single lunch or dinner service. The choices are simply unbeatable. It is virtually impossible to taste all of the food in every station. The selection in this place even beats the higher priced sibling, NIU. Perhaps it is due to the economics. There is simply too many people dining here which pushes food costs lower. The key difference is they only serve the Tempura at three a piece. Its a longer queue but the quality seems the same as in NIU. The salmon sashimi is also served per platelet, and towards the end, it actually ran out. Every single food option has more variety. Even the charcuterie was a level up. They also have Coke products served now. The value simply cannot be beat in dining here. Most of what we got was actually good, except the steak rice was not as good as I remember it to be. This place proves that Filipinos really love to eat. Nothing much more to say. Five out of five.
Marvin U — Google review
For years, Vikings has been synonymous with a high-quality buffet experience, albeit with a hefty price tag. During my recent visit to Manila, I was intrigued to discover that they had lowered their prices. Eager to indulge in a variety of delectable dishes for dinner, I arrived an hour after their doors opened, expecting a feast. To my surprise, I found that most of the Asian food options were remarkably low or completely empty, with no apparent efforts to replenish them. The line for the tempura was especially long, with diners eagerly waiting for the few pieces that were available. Moving on to the other side, where American, European, and Filipino cuisine was offered, I was disappointed to see that popular items like lechon and steak had even longer lines—far exceeding that of the tempura. It was disheartening to realize that a significant portion of the food choices had been depleted, and many items were not being refilled. The overall selection of food felt limited and rather bland, as if little effort had been invested in creating dynamic flavors or diverse offerings. On a brighter note, the dessert section did feature a better variety of sweets, providing a pleasant contrast to the savory dishes. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The staff appeared disorganized, which contributed to a chaotic dining experience. The dining area itself was poorly arranged, with tables squeezed closely together, making it almost impossible to navigate without bumping into fellow diners. In summary, this experience was not worth the price. The decline in the quality of both food and service was evident, and it became quite clear why they had opted to lower their prices. Sadly, this visit did not live up to the high standards I had come to associate with Vikings, and it significantly detracted from an enjoyable dining experience.

My experience at Vikings Megamall was highly positive, particularly due to the extensive food selection and the cleanliness of the establishment. They offer a wide variety of food options, and I have always found the establishment to be exceptionally clean. I would certainly recommend their service, and the quality of the food is superb. I have been to the Alley uptown and SM north. But this one really stands out.

Located at the 4th floor of Mega Fashion Hall. We came for lunch on a weekday. We had reservation so it was smooth process when we came. So many food. You will feel overwhelmed. I tries the angus and it was a little chewy. I liked their dinuguan and binagoongan. They have halo-halo station.
Dian D — Google review
October 18, 2025 We paid 1238 each because it's weekends. Their black angus beef is tough to chew. I have to cut it in smaller pieces just to swallow it. Their red pasta is a bit sweet, I think it is like that to fit the Pinoys' taste buds. The makis are alright. Eggplant tempuras are freshly fried. The dumplings are also good because of it's thin skin. I also raved their fried mantao, it is sweet and toasted. And I also got some appetizers which also good like the mozzarela and pepper toast. I was a bit disappointed with the churros. Because even if it is hot and fresh from the pan. I don't taste the same churros that I fell in love with🥲 But I will still come back in Vikings.

Nestled in the heart of Quezon City, the Quezon Memorial Circle, also known as "Circle," is a bustling urban park that pays tribute to former Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon. This national park boasts a 66-meter mausoleum housing the Quezon Memorial Shrine, offering an observation deck with panoramic city views. Visitors can explore various museums such as Museo ni Manuel L.
Lovely calm oasis of calm in crazy Manila. There a lovely Art Deco monument dedicated to Manuel L. Quezon, which also enshrines his remains. Plenty of activities as well as a couple of museums too. The circle is really difficult to get to by foot. There seems to be only one underground passageway.

Good park but kind of hard to go to due to the traffic before you get to the underpass, if there's no enforcers on the streets cars don't prioritize pedestrians. An ok place to workout and see events by different groups like the QC adoption, bathrooms are nicer now however some are closed? They shouldn't be, there are more senior citizens that try and workout here and having no immediate access to that sucks given by how much the budget was used, also people bathe inside?? Hoping for a dedicated shower room instead, also I'll mostly post the cats and dogs I'll see in the park as the photos hehe

Quezon Memorial Circle is a national park located in the heart of Quezon City, built to honor the legacy of the first President of the Philippines, Manuel L. Quezon. At the center of the park stands the Quezon Memorial Shrine, a 66-meter-tall monument designed to represent Quezon’s age at the time of his death. At the top of the tower are three mourning angels, each symbolizing the three major island groups of the Philippines—Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—representing the unity of the nation. Within the park grounds, you’ll also find the mausoleum of President Quezon and his wife, Aurora Quezon, a history museum, a small amusement park, botanical gardens, local markets, and cafés. Tonkatsu restaurant
Nestled in the bustling SM Megamall, Yabu: House of Katsu has carved out a niche for itself as one of Metro Manila's premier destinations for katsu since its inception in 2011. This beloved homegrown eatery is renowned for its exceptional customer service and consistently high-quality dishes. While their signature katsu—Japanese-style breaded cutlets—is a must-try, adventurous diners can also indulge in delightful options like Gyudon and Salmon Donburi.
Excellent food. Efficient service and nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The portions were humongous! If you're eating dinner here, I suggest just sharing 1 set for you and your partner. You can't really complain because the food was delicious!

Food at Yabu Megamall has always been excellent—perfectly cooked katsu, generous portions, and fair pricing. You can always count on them to get it right. But what truly sets this branch apart is the outstanding service. From the duty managers and supervisors to the entire staff, everyone was genuinely attentive. They consistently checked in, ensured we knew which items were refillable, asked how our food was, and were always ready to assist—often before we even needed to ask. They greeted diners warmly and made the whole experience feel personal. I was actually planning to speak to the supervisor before leaving to commend the team. But just as we were about to pay, Supervisor Ron came over to personally ask for feedback—a perfect opportunity to praise the team for their impeccable service. Keep it up, Yabu Megamall team—you make dining here a true pleasure!

Tried Yabu here at Megamall, and as expected—just like in their other branches—the place was packed. Fortunately, we didn’t have to wait too long to get seated. We ordered the regular katsu and curry katsu sets. The serving time was a bit longer than usual, but manageable. In terms of taste, I found the curry to be a bit too spicy for my preference, even though I only chose the regular spice level. That said, the service was great—the staff were very attentive to our requests and made sure we were taken care of.

What could possibly make the perfect Yabu tonkatsu and katsudon we’ve adored since 2011 even more perfect? Enter the crunchy, juicy tonkatsu that comes with not one, but two irresistible pairings with generous, perfectly moist, golden scrambled eggs: the Crispy Katsudon and Tornado Omelette Curry. They’re both winners. But the real winner? Us, the lucky eaters.

Huge thanks to the staff at Yabu Megamall for helping me find my lost mini fan and mini umbrella. I left them last July 18 and only asked about them on August 1—but they still kept them safe. Love my experience here, food was also great! The long wait to get called and the preparation of order is a bit too long for me, hoping they can add more chairs to address the influx of people and they can speed up a little bit the processing and delivering the food customers ordered.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Yabu, and I must say, their katsu dish exceeded my expectations! The tender meat was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were incredibly authentic. What impressed me most was the value for money. The price was reasonable considering the high-quality ingredients and generous serving size. If you're a fan of Japanese cuisine, Yabu is a must-try. The katsu is a standout dish that's sure to please even the pickiest eaters. Don't hesitate to give it a try – you won't be disappointed! # Highlights: - Tender and juicy meat - Authentic Japanese flavors - Generous portion size - Crispy and light breading - Excellent value for money - Friendly and attentive service # Recommended for: - Japanese food enthusiasts - Katsu lovers - Those seeking authentic Asian cuisine - Value-conscious diners

This sleek shopping center has recently undergone expansion, enhancing its spaciousness and making it a delightful destination for both retail therapy and culinary adventures. My first time to visit The Podium after it was renovated. I was in this mall way before the pandemic. I was really curious to see it again after it was upgraded. True enough, I was so impressed with the new look of the mall. The interior architecture was amazing. It exuded a futuristic vibe. It is so much more elegant than I could remember. The scent as you enter the mall reminded me of high end malls I've visited in other countries. Went through some of the stores. Indeed, this mall is for the upper market.

It's a high end mall, but for some reason I don't feel intimidated as a low income individual, and it feels like home. The mall smells really good, not too crowded, comfort rooms are maintained at high standards, and has a variety of mid to high-end retails. They have a food court that prolly serves for all masses. It is mid-sized, but I don't get bored wandering around many times. Def one of the best malls on top around the Metro.

The Podium – Don’t go for the shopping, Go for the Ambiance, food, and coffee The Podium is a small to medium sized mall with a limited selection of shops. But what it lacks in shopping diversity, it makes up for the great selection of fine restaurants and fine coffee shops. The ambiance is also remarkable; the moment I entered it I felt relaxed!! and it is located in a very nice area. If shopping is your main concern, just visit this place to have a meal and then a nice walk in a nice place, then buy a cup of coffee and just go outside the mall and take a VERY short walk to SM Mega Mall for your shopping needs. The Good: - The ambiance is very relaxing and the mall is not crowded. - A fine selection of places to eat and to drink coffee or have dessert. - Just a short walk from SM Mega Mall. The (Not So) Bad: - Small compared to other malls in the area, but just try it and you will like it. .Peace.

Malacañan Palace, located in San Miguel on Mendiola Street, is a significant historical site in the Philippines. It served as the residence of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos for two decades until they were ousted during the People Power demonstration in 1986. Originally built by a Spanish aristocrat, it was later expanded and renovated by the Marcoses. The palace has undergone various transformations throughout history, including an exorcism performed when Aquino came to power.
Most excellent guides - was here as only one on the malacang heritage tour - free / nice on hot day. Anyone can book online up to a three business days in advance. Lovely museums. They still take tour even with one person.

有些人說這地方似乎不能參觀了請注意! Wanted to come here but I can’t find the way in, instead I was directed to Bahay Ugnayan, which I think it’s a misunderstanding. I don’t understand Philippine English, and it’s hard to communicate with the guard. Road entry is guarded around here so please be aware that by taxi you need to come to the right exit 😞

The museum is open and you can discover the evolution of the Philippines democracy and government.. all the presidents.. and surprised many women were presidents... Not like in France... We should take an example from them It's a very small museum but as all museums the presentation it's really well done and clear One thing at the entrance you have the president in activity

I brought my Polish date here. And oh boy, it did not disappoint. He had fun. We were only 5 in a group and the tour guide is very knowledgeable of the historical background of the items in display in the museum. IF YOU HAVE FOREIGN VISITORS, BRING THEM HERE. You just have to email the palace museum and tours coordinator your desired day and time to visit. Entrance is for free. Foreign nationals must affix a scanned copy of the face of their passport with the request to visit. Enjoy!

It was time well spent along with my student leaders before heading back to Davao even though we were not able to tour the Palace. The experience was a rewarding one as we appreciated together the wisdom of our nation's leaders through the tour and being allowed to enter and be in the premises where history happened was truly memorable.

First of all if you want to go to the museum you have to schedule an appointment first at the gate. So, I learned new things that I didn't know about the place which they don't write in historical books. It just takes you back in time with the items that the Philippine presidents used throughout the course of history from their campaigns, decorations, and much more. There is the sense of awe to think that you're standing at the same spot where the presidents held their meetings, conferences. I think it is a nice place to learn some part of the philippine history by knowing some facts of the men and women that lead the nation

The Archdiocesan Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, commonly referred to as the EDSA Shrine, is a significant Catholic landmark located at the bustling intersection of EDSA and Ortigas Avenue in Manila. Established in 1989, this shrine serves as a tribute to the People Power Revolution that peacefully ended Ferdinand Marcos' dictatorship in 1986. The site features a striking bronze grotto of the Virgin Mary atop its structure, symbolizing peace and hope.
The EDSA Shrine, also known as the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, is not just a place of worship but also a historical landmark that played a key role in the 1986 People Power Revolution. This shrine stands as a symbol of peace and unity, commemorating the millions of Filipinos who gathered along EDSA to peacefully overthrow a dictatorship and restore democracy in the country. Built in 1989, the shrine was dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the title Queen of Peace, as many believe that her intercession helped keep the revolution bloodless. The large bronze image of Mary atop the shrine, with her outstretched hands, is an iconic sight along EDSA, reminding Filipinos of the power of faith and nonviolent resistance. Despite being located along one of Metro Manila’s busiest highways, the church offers a peaceful atmosphere for prayer and reflection. The architecture is simple yet solemn, and the interior is well-maintained. Regular masses are held, and many people come here to light candles and offer prayers, especially during significant national events. If you’re visiting or passing by Ortigas, the EDSA Shrine is worth a stop—not just for its religious significance but also for its historical importance in shaping the country’s democracy.
Eugine P — Google review
Appointed a jubilee 2025 pilgrim church, under the archdiocese of Manila, this shrine is a testament to the Filipino peoples love of peace as it is at the very location of this shrine that has seen the peaceful overthrow of 2 presidents. The location itself is located at the crossroads of two major thoroughfares in Metro Manila and right smack in front of the entrance of Robinson’s Galleria Mall. The church itself is not big but beautifully designed to incorporate modern architecture with traditional Philippine touches in many areas specially seen in the many capiz shells used in decoration. Although compact, this little church has everything, a baptistery, an adoration chapel, parish office, votive candles lit in a minute open air garden. The cross centerpiece is a modern lighted rendition and quite unusual. Mass schedules are attached in the pictures here

September 2025 Historic shrine and church at EDSA that stands as a testament to the people power movements that marked significant events in Philippine history. Beautiful architecture and is a central religious and moral venue for public protest
Oliver P — Google review
Mañosa's expertise in architecture is displayed with the seamless integration of Our Lady of EDSA's monument and the shrine below. The glass doors are both functional and aesthetic—as it is fully air-conditioned inside and at the same time evoking an "open" space for people in all walks of life. The bells also have that distinct melody which admittedly is what called me back to the faith. The adoration chapel is located at the left side of the shrine, and a parking lot is located at the right side of the shrine. There are stations of the cross above, and a beautiful mural is placed around the shrine which makes the Filipino people remember that the EDSA revolution is not just solely political but also divine intervention.

The EDSA Shrine (also known as the Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace) is indeed considered a solemn place of worship, holding significant religious and historical importance in the Philippines as a commemoration of the People Power Revolution.

One of my childhood churches when I attend Sunday mass with my family. It has continued to be a living sign of faith that moves people to be instruments of peace and justice. It is fittingly right for this place of worship to be elevated to a National Shrine in honor of Our Lady's intercession during the EDSA People Power Revolution. Never forget to pass by the adoration chapel & spend few moments of reflection before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Ang National Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, also known as Mary, Queen of Peace Shrine, Our Lady of Peace Quasi-Parish and commonly known as the EDSA Shrine, is a small church of the Archdiocese of Manila located at the intersection of Ortigas Avenue and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Barangay Ugong Norte, Quezon City, Philippines. It is a declared Important Cultural Property by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.[2] Built in 1989 on donated land to commemorate the People Power Revolution, the shrine is the site of two peaceful demonstrations that toppled Presidents Ferdinand Marcos in 1986, and Joseph Estrada (the EDSA Revolution of 2001 or EDSA II). The EDSA Shrine is the northernmost tip of the Ortigas Center, a financial and commercial district occupying large tracts of land in Quezon City, Mandaluyong, and Pasig.

The Mandaluyong City Hall is a contemporary edifice covered in blue glass and featuring a distinct roaring tiger logo on its entrance. The building boasts of strict health safety protocols, manned cashier windows to facilitate faster transactions, and an overall clean and secure environment. While there may be concerns about excessive vehicular congestion around the Municipal area, it's worth noting that the city's local government has been working hard to make improvements under the leadership of their Good Mayor.
Clean sorroundings and a disciplined community. They have fast service, my transaction took me only less than five minutes, from Assesors Office to the Cashier for the payment of my Aunt's amilyar. All government offices of the City of Mandaluyong were located inside the compound so no need to travel if you have another transactions. The police station of Mandaluyong was located here also. Kudos to all.

All staff I encountered for the health card/mayor’s permit was rude. Most of them were on tiktok and would only look at you briefly then go back to their phones. It’s as if I was interrupting something important whenever I have a transaction. Only the guards were nice. Because I had more than pea sized amount of stool, the guy asked me to remove some of it out. Saying I can just do it outside. That’s the first time I ever heard a medical professional say that. There wasn’t even an available trash can or comfort room to do it. It was so embarassing.

I had a few transactions in the new Mandaluyong City Hall which includes getting a cedula, applying business permit & arranging papers for my marriage. I can say that I am happy with the service that I received. The building is generally neat & clean. And importantly, it is comfortable because of the efficient air conditioning. Update: I have visited again, unfortunately for family members’ death certificates. Still the city hall did not disappoint.
Ryan 1 — Google review
I went to the blue building with the tiger decorations in Mandaluyong City Hall to ask where I could get my cedula. There were two older ladies at the information desk, and I approached the skinny one. When I asked for directions, she gave a quick answer that confused me, so I politely asked if it was upstairs. Instead of clarifying, she snapped back sarcastically and said, “wala akong sinabi na sa taas" in a very rude and unprofessional tone. This is unacceptable behavior from someone working in public service, where courtesy and patience should come first. Visitors come here for help, not to be talked down to. Management should address this because it gives the whole office a bad image.

The place was clean. I got the LCR Birth Certificate that I need from them in an hour. Although, it's better if you have a copy of PSA (scanned copy will do) with you so they know already the Registration Number of the certificate that you need. I only paid 50pesos to Window 2 (they said Window 1-9, but there were only 2 windows available when I went there). The Local Civil Registry also collected PhP3pesos for the printing/photocopy.

Ortigas Park is a serene oasis nestled in the bustling Ortigas business district, offering a refreshing urban nature experience. It's a popular spot for chess enthusiasts, with occasional matches between professional leagues and office-goers. Despite being surrounded by city sounds, the park provides a peaceful atmosphere with clean grounds and benches for relaxation. Nearby amenities like coffee shops and convenience stores make it an ideal escape within the concrete jungle.
The place is very nice and clean. I really enjoyed the area.

This park is in dire need of renovation. The fountain structure is sad-looking and is falling apart. It could be renovated into a larger stage where the park can earn money by holding live music, art galleries, film festivals, and etc. The grass area needs to be trimmed and changed to an area where people can sit and have picnics or watch the aforementioned entertainment. While I was here this afternoon, around 2pm, I saw a man run from Emerald to pee behind the fountain. This was all witnessed by the park's security guard, who did nothing to stop it. That's the kind of place this park has become--a public restroom for disgusting people. It could be so much more lucrative if only it were renovated.
Paolo S — Google review
A small green space in the middle of the busy business district, offering a quick escape from the city’s hustle. It’s a nice spot to sit, relax, or take a short break, but it definitely needs a full renovation. The benches and pathways are worn out, and the overall maintenance could be better. Some areas feel neglected, and more greenery or improvements would make it a much better public space. It’s still a decent place for a quiet moment, but with some upgrades, it could be a much more inviting and refreshing spot in Ortigas.
Eugine P — Google review
Don't let the word "park" fool you. I had come out to this area in the hopes of buying a hop-on hop-off bus ticket, but they were closed. So I started looking for nature-y things to do around there and came across this on Google. When I first arrived, I thought I was maybe in the wrong place because there was nothing there but a few metal murals. Then I was realized that was it...that was the "park". The murals were really cool, but I was expecting, ya know, a park.
Julie J — Google review
Place is clean. Coffee shops nearby, and the entire Garnet st. is closed to vehicles to encourage ppl to walk. Nice move of Pasig LGU. Street sweepers maintain the cleanliness of the place. The park itself is not very spacious though.

Probably the smallest park in the Philippines. You can get from one end to the other in 42 seconds. With that said, it's still a nice quaint place to enjoy the sunshine. It's an oasis of green in the sea of grey. A large CBTL can be found here, as well as a small convenience store. Cats lay around here, and there are food bowls and toys a passerby like you and me can use to interact with them.

Nestled in the heart of Makati, the Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Church stands as a testament to the rich history and architectural beauty of colonial-era churches. Established in 1620, this remarkable structure features a classic single-nave design that includes an apse and sacristy, embodying the essence of mission-style architecture. The church's facade is adorned with a striking three-tiered papal tiara and keys, symbolizing its patron saints—St. Peter and St.
a church with more than 400 years of history and it’s still standing proudly and serving its followers. it has been well taken care of, just go in and look at the interior, everything seems to be sparkling! just be respectful when you are in as a guest.

Lovely, lovely place. If one would be very busy and in a hurry always, you might miss this church which looks small of the outside due to the immense buildings in the area and also the chaplain's house. But once inside, the grandiosity of the church reminds you of the old grandeur of Intramuros and the beauty of European churches. One should not miss this place. It is a place of comfort, renewal and long-lasting traditions. It is a place that one should go back to. Always.

A Peaceful Sanctuary in Makati: My Experience at Saints Peter and Paul Parish I recently had the pleasure of attending mass at Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Poblacion, Makati City on June 23rd, 2024. The celebrant, Dr. Rev. Joselito Martin, officiated a solemn mass that resonated deeply with me. His sermon was both clear and impactful, delivering a meaningful message in a straightforward way. The church itself was a sight to behold. The beautiful decorations, particularly around the altar area, created a truly serene atmosphere. It was a place that fostered a sense of peace and belongingness, a welcome respite from the usual hustle and bustle of Makati. Overall, my experience at Saints Peter and Paul Parish was uplifting. The combination of a thoughtful sermon, a beautifully adorned church, and a peaceful ambiance made it a truly special mass. I highly recommend this parish to anyone seeking a spiritual sanctuary in the heart of Makati.

One of the oldest and most historic churches in Metro Manila. It is quite hidden, located along a narrow street. The facade can already tell you how old and historic this church is. The inside is stunning, with art covering the walls and the ceiling, and maybe the most stunning of all, the grand tall altar. The church is very solemn and comfortable because of the Air-conditioning. I recommend visiting this old and beautiful church.

Nestled in the chic neighborhood of Bel-Air, Makati City, the Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish Church stands as a testament to modern architecture. Designed by renowned Filipino architect and National Artist Leandro Locsin, this striking church features an unconventional silhouette that captivates visitors. Completed in 1968, its unique butterfly floor plan culminates in an X-shaped cross, symbolizing St. Andrew's crucifixion and setting it apart from traditional steeple designs.
I went here with my colleagues to offer a short prayer and I was genuinely surprised by how good the church looks inside and outside. It was a humbling and amazing experience. For everyone near Makati I think this is a go to church because of how big and great it is.

A relatively small and modern church located in Makati. The church is located next to a large cemetary. The interior is quite unique, with unique seating, altar, and design. The church has air conditioning but it is definitely more powerful in certain areas. The seating wasn't that comfortable for me personally. The mass I attended was a mass for children I believe so I can't really say if the normal masses are more liturgical or traditional. It's quite a convenient church so I recommend having mass if you’re just passing by.

Seven Last Words I enjoy visiting churches from time to time even tho I’m not religious. Each and every church is beautiful in their own unique ways indeed. Some context…it’s Holy Week in the Philippines, most establishments are closed and the streets are basically deserted. Very uncommon sight for the rest of the year! Yesterday I actually joined family on this Good Friday special speaking event of the “Seven Last Words”. While this was about 3 hours long and a little tiring to sit and hear people speak for that long…I really enjoyed it and even got a bit emotional from the personal life stories that were told in line with each portion of the last words as they were divided up. Wow! This location has a unique outside design indeed and when you enter it’s basically a circle with the roof meeting high up to a point like a teepee/tent. Lots of seating indeed and while the first half of the ceremony was about half full…nearing 230pm before the next service on Good Friday…this place was packed! Standing room only left over so I suggest to arrive somewhat early especially if you have elders with you or accessible needs with seating or wheelchairs. Plenty of screens to read from. The Air Conditioning was in full effect with some spots even being too cold to sit…Many people were fetching jackets from outside (almost 40°C ). So ironic. One thing I’ll say is that depending on who’s speaking, it can be quite hard to hear clearly what is being said. The speakers hang from the slanted ceiling making the acoustics quite odd in some spots…especially if someone talks fast. Some of the doors were being used constantly and they weren’t well oiled let’s just say…So if you sit near one then be aware. Also the foot traffic in and out can be little intrusive during mass or services. I’ve reported many photos and videos that were attached to this location as they did not make sense or do it any justice…Hope you enjoy some of what I captured and hope many others add some also. Have a fruitful blessed Holy Week and a Happy Easter.

Small yet comfortable church. Air-conditioned and not too crowded. The circular layout of altar and benches feel spacious and not cramped leg room. The benches have a designated space for bags in front of you. Nifty!

We usually go here since I was a kid. This Parish is still well-maintained and very peaceful ever since. You will able to focus on praying. The parking slot is limited, every Sunday they occupy the street of Kalayaan Avenue. Structure is good from the inside to outside. And the priests inside are lively that you will be able to listen to the Homily. The start of the mass is every 1 and a half hour to give way to people who are coming and leaving. This is one of my favorite go-to places for praying!

I super miss this place. Lot of changes for the past years. We went to the food park and were happy to know that my favorite food stalls are still there. Super happy to be able to visit GF Pavilion again. Good for family bonding, friends, eat out while watching live bands with good music. Definitely a good place to go near the metro.

Sunday is a great place to unwind and enjoy a laid-back weekend. The Greenfield Weekend Market is the highlight, with a wide variety of food stalls offering everything from local favorites to international dishes. The open-air setup, live music, and relaxed vibe make it a perfect spot for hanging out with family or friends. There’s plenty of space to walk around, and the atmosphere is lively but not too crowded. You can find unique handmade goods, vintage items, and even plants from local vendors. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but it’s worth it for the experience. If you’re looking for a chill Sunday night with good food, music, and a great ambiance, Greenfield District is definitely worth visiting!

The Catholic Church's National Shrine of Our Lady of the Abandoned is an old and attractive Baroque-style church that is well-known for its long history and associations with American soldiers during the Philippine-American War of 1899.
This is one of the 3 churches within Manila that was spared total damage from WW2 bombings. I went here on a walking tour with Renacimiento Manila and learned about Sta. Ana Manila's rich history. The church is well preserved and has beautiful stained glass windows.

Nice beautiful church. Heritage style
Geh D — Google review
This shrine is rich in artistry, both in its interior and exterior design. During my visit, some areas were undergoing reconstruction, but it didn’t take away from the church’s historical charm. The facade especially caught my attention, with moss and small plants starting to grow, adding to its aged, almost sacred feel. Inside, it’s serene and solemn, with elements that speak of deep-rooted faith and long-standing tradition. Even with the renovations, you can still sense the quiet dignity and historical weight the shrine holds.

A treasured heritage site. I love the spanish times old water well where I pray to Our Lady of the Well. 🙏🏼 The church also has a columbarium, where my father-in-law rests.
Haspe N — Google review
One of the oldest church in Manila. I like the choirs angelic voices. Very accessible from my place if I need to talk to God solemnly. Prayers are not always answered the way you want it. His plans for you are always the best and He will make ways to fulfil it in your life. TALK TO GOD. READ THE BIBLE.
Cristian A — Google review
Very beautiful centuries old church located in the heart of Sta. Ana. The preserved retablo is always a sight to behold. When you go up the camarin, one will be transported back to the time because of the well preserved ceiling and where one can always find inner peace while praying. My favourite church. I got married in this church years ago. From the first time i entered this church in 1979 I made a promise to Our Lady that I'll get married here which i did in 1983. And from then on every first Saturday i always come and visit.

The EDSA People Power Monument, created by Eduardo Castrillo, stands as a significant landmark commemorating the 1986 People Power Revolution. Situated near Tomas Morato and Timog Avenue, the area offers various entertainment options such as stand-up comedy venues like Punchline, Zirkoh, and Laffline, as well as KTV places like Music 21. This huge assembly area beside EDSA and White Plains Road can accommodate up to 1,000 people for peaceful gatherings.
#MarcosNoHero. Around 20,000 people gathered and protested on November 30, 2016 against the sneaky burial of former dictator, President Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr., at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani.

Makati Park and Garden is a spacious urban park located along the Pasig River, offering a serene escape from the bustling city. It features various attractions such as a bird sanctuary, plant nursery, small lake, fountains, and an artificial waterfall. The park also boasts a floating gazebo and an events pavilion known as the Artist Pavilion, which is popular for hosting weddings and birthdays.
Great place to chill, hang out, jog, exercise and play badminton. Though it is located just along the main road, you cannot really hear the noise of the vehicles. It's open from 6am to 8pm, entrance and parking are free! You can join the zumba session in the morning. Many people jog here but it never feels crowded because of the huge and open space.

One of the very few greenery in the city that must be treasured especially because it is free to the public. Wonder if the authority has fund from government to convert the amphitheatre into some kind of sky garden so that the space and infrastructure are put to better use. Also hope for the fountain to be repaired... May be could reduce the size of the pond... and extend the park to meet the bank of Pasig River with some steps and railings ...

The Archdiocesan Shrine of the Divine Mercy is a serene place for worship and reflection. The church, located on the second floor, offers masses and features a mortuary and office on the first floor. While some areas may need maintenance, the priests' sermons are well-received by attendees. Despite limited parking, visitors find it accessible and comfortable with air conditioning. The shrine also houses an image of Saint Faustina with a relic, making it a special place for spiritual experiences.
Beautiful church, solemn place, Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila, airconditioned, religious store, regular mass schedule MASS SCHEDULE (Updated as of July 2, 2023) SUNDAY MASS ✔️Public: 7 AM, 8:30 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 4:30 PM, 6 PM ✔️Online: 7 AM and 3 PM WEEKDAY MASS ✔️Public: 6 AM (Mon - Sat), 12 PM (Mon - Sat), 6 PM (Mon-Fri and Sat, Anticipated Sunday Mass)
Francis S — Google review
All the masses are conducted at the second floor. What you can find at the first floor are the mortuary and the office. There are comfort rooms which are not so clean. The church needs upkeep. The chairs need to be repainted. Many church goers attend the masses so their donations could be used to finance the maintenance. The commentators lack energy and sound sleepy. Good thing the priests' sermons are pleasing. Very insufficient parking. You can park along the highway. I still gave it 4 stars because it is air-conditioned and solemn. You can still pray at peace despite the fact that it is located in the middle of a busy street.
Evita D — Google review
It is a small church but quite beautiful. It is cozy and comfortable as the place is air conditioned. Because of its size, the atmosphere is solemn and peaceful. Seats are limited and so it is best to come much earlier than the time of your preferred Mass schedule. Parking may be a problem especially during mid-morning Masses on Sundays.
N8s O — Google review
The last time I heard mass here, the Shrine had no air conditioning yet so probably that had been years ago. I do like places of worship that are air conned not for vain reasons but it is much solemn to pray and meditate than in humid and hot conditions. And maybe what made the celebration here more special was Rev Fr Wilmur celebrating his 25th year as a man if God. The Shrine is very accessible. After mass, wander around and discover a lot of places to have your meal.

SM Bowling Center in Quezon City is a fantastic spot for a day of bowling with your loved ones. It's family-friendly, offering bowling lessons for kids and billiards for the adults. The center frequently runs promotions to ensure an enjoyable time at great value. Located on the fourth floor of Megamall's Fashion Hall building in Mandaluyong City, it boasts 12 lanes and maintains a mostly clean environment.
SM Bowling Center is Megamall's bowling alley. This mall is located in Mandaluyong City. The bowling alley is located in the fourth floor of the Fashion Hall building. You can easily spot it because of the big sign. We went here with friends on a holiday so it was very crowded. We had to put our names on the waiting list and leave. We roamed around the mall, bought a snack at Mos Burger and stayed there for about an hour. Then, we returned to the Bowling Center and got our chance to play after 15 to 20 minutes. I would say it was a bit expensive but it was not too bad. Our experience was very good and we enjoyed it. The price of one game per person is about 225 pesos. In addition, you will pay 50 pesos for the shoes rental. The shoes looked a bit old though. Still, the establishment was well maintained and very clean. You can buy and enjoy drinks and foods but you are not allowed to bring outside food or drinks. I would still recommend this place and be sure to bring family or friends.
Adrielle O — Google review
Bowling Center but may billiards din and many others. Good for bonding of friends. But practicing for tournament, its a big NO. Maingay ang place kasi walang harang between each kind of sports. BUT nakakaenjoy♡ and may foods na rin and waiting area.
Jeyn K — Google review
Went here to play bowling with the family. The lane assigned to us (#14) seems problematic. Pins will accidentally fall for no reason, it takes a while to reload the full set of pins, and a lot of hassle with the machine. We have to call in technical support for more than 6 times to assist us. All in all, we had a great time. Though it takes a lot of our patience.
AJ C — Google review
For casual bowling for family, friends or company events. Also have billiard tables, table tennis, mini soft gel gun range, arcade hoops, massage chairs.
Maurice A — Google review
There’s a lot of activities to choose from. I really thought they were only offering bowling because of their name. We planned on bowling but it was too expensive (225 pesos per person) so we just changed and used their KTV Room (300 pesos for an hour). The KTV room is not that spacious (only good for 3-4 people as advertised). The song selection is up to date. Time flies fast inside so I think you can also extend the number of hours if you decide to.
Fredric J — Google review
Decent sized bowling alley with 12 bowling lanes. The place is mostly clean. You can just walk in and book the lanes but you might have to wait as it is mostly full. Price per game is peso 185 plus 50 peso for shoes rental. You can also try metrodeal coupons which offers discounted games. Avoid going on Friday evening as all the lanes are reserved for tournaments every Friday 5.30pm to 10pm. The receptionist was not very friendly and accommodative. But overall we had a good experience.
Lalit J — Google review
No serious bowler would want to bowl here. Although the lanes have been "upgraded" for look, the lanes remain sub-par in quality. Scoring in lanes 10/11 must be watched because spares aren't recorded properly. Lanes 13/14 stucks up and even conked out on us mid-game. We had to switch lanes! The ballboys also have a habit of disappearing when the lanes are full; and you will most likely need them to spot the pins because the lanes are not good. However, the place is more than just a bowling center. The management spruced it up to add table tennis tables and karaoke place. There are also billiard tables and arcade basketball. So, if you get frustrated with the bowling, you will still find options to entertain yourselves. And last, they serve better food here now. I would've rated the place higher if only for these except that I came to bowl.
Jalli R — Google review
made a reservation for a corporate event, and yet our lane was only vacted 30 minutes after the schedule we booked - staff didn't care when we complained that there were still people na tumatambay sa lane na nareserve namin (tapos na yung game nila 20 minutes pa), wala naman sanang problema if we were informed ahead

Jabez B — Google review
I had high expectations for Mystery Manila, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The concept of an escape room is exciting, but the execution here left a lot to be desired. First, the puzzles felt poorly designed. The room was filled with locks, which is understandable, but the codes to open them made no logical sense. There was no real connection between the clues and the theme of the room, making the experience frustrating rather than enjoyable. Instead of feeling like we were solving a well-thought-out mystery, it felt more like we were randomly guessing answers with no clear reasoning. Additionally, there were elements in the room that seemed completely unnecessary or even misleading. For example, I couldn’t understand why there was a poster with capitalized adjectives—it didn’t fit into the game at all and only added to the confusion. Small details like this made it seem as if the room was put together without much thought. I was really looking forward to this experience, expecting an immersive and challenging escape room, but it did not live up to the hype. Instead of feeling engaged and excited, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. If you’re looking for a well-designed, thematic escape room with clever puzzles, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

It was our first time here in Mystery Manila but we have tried different escape rooms in the past. We booked online for the schedule and chose the School of Sorcery. We were able to complete the mission but asked for clues from the staff. 😁 Their staff are very approachable and full of energy! We loved the experience and looking forward to trying the other rooms. 😊 This is definitely a great team building activity!

Really liked the heating pad style... however, I also ordered drinks.... Gave 3 stars because of the shakes. For 170 PHP each, I was at least expecting quality....like, bits of fruits, then pack the drinks with some ice so the customer could feel a bit coldness from the drinks... The food was good, the drinks were terrible.

As someone who used to pass this place everyday - I remember the church being under renovation for the longest time ever. It’s much better now but whenever there is a wake I pity the folks living right by the area due to the crowd and the very late night events going on.
