A good place to enjoy serenity of nature on a river bank. It has a huge 35 acres area, and has various activities being offered for children and grown ups. As of now, some construction is still going on and internal train lines are being built. But I believe it’ll finish soon, and would definitely recommend to check the place out.

Good place but Road from main road to parking is bit cramp and sometimes its hard to give pass to upcoming vehicles, rest all is good so far, as a note , google location sometimes is wrong and confusing. Thx

It was a very good experience. There are different activities for kids to do. There also have train to visit the park. Boating can also be done. There are various aquariums containing different kinds of fish. Overall it was very good.

Saurabh Kalia “Saurabh Van Vihar” Spans 35 Acres of park nestled against majestic Dhauladar Range in Palampur. Its a nice place to visit with kids. Plenty of options for kids. Boating is also Available. Worst part is the way to the parking and no one to Manage the single lane parking. Even one has to Find the spot on thr own. Dont know what are they charging parking fees for?

The visit to tea gardens was wonderful. We got a tour of tea processing facility which belonged to Himalayan Brew and also undertook tea tasting there.

This is not a correct pin . There is a small private tea garden with Dak Bunglow and one small one called Bundela tea estate.. There is no tourist Palampur tea garden per se.where one can experience tea making process etc. We kept looking for a gate or ticket entry and realized that all the touristy experiential social media posts about palampur tea gardens are at Wah Tea Estate which is 20 mins away from this point

The overall experience was good. The path was clean to walk around and watch animals, lush with greenery, there is a small park for kids to play and hangout with families and dustbins were everywhere to collect garabage. However i felt that there should be some trees around bear enclosure to keep him cool during hot summer days. There were no trees around his enclosure, even the position of the shed is such that there will be sunlight in most of the day time. I hope this suggestion add any value and help these beautiful creatures to sustain.

From Jakhni Mata Temple Birni Mata Trek is 3 hours far maximum...... The trek is a bit hard due to its height. However its worth to trek as you able to seen in these pics about the natural view that one can witness actually here.... Don't go alone....always go on a group bcause you may find wild creatures on top....

Good short hiking trail near palampur. You can start it either from Jakhni Mata temple or approx 1-2 km before temple (eatery shop at corner). We parked our vehicles here and started hiking towards Birni mata temple. After crossing a village, there is steep ascend to top of hill and there is dhaba at top where you can eat, rest. It's like halfway of the trail. From here you will get glimpse of temple, continue toward second half of trail through dense forest. Approx one way distance 3.5-4 km and time 2 hrs.

This cafe has 4 room set cozy stay options as well adjacent to cafe itself. It’s very kids friendly and has a very small stream of river where kids enjoy boating and rafting. This is well maintained , beautiful and peaceful property. It has a small Bar House also. Open area dinning options is also available here and alcohol can be served at your table. One can enjoy variety of veg and non veg food items here. Famous Trout fish can be served on advance order here. Food is fresh and delicious. Weekend is mostly full here so plan accordingly as guests and well as local visitors visits this for lunch and dinning. Staff is very polite and quick in servicing. Plenty of free parking space is available.

We stopped here for a breakfast, the pratha was bitter as it was not cooked properly, the overall experience was below average. They really need to improve the taste and quality of the food otherwise no one will come here.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I visited Nugal Café Palampur today, 16th July. I ordered chaat papdi, dosa, and masala papad with green chutney. To my shock and disgust, I found a cockroach🪳🤮 in my food. 😱 seriously This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the café’s hygiene and cleanliness standards. What’s even more disappointing is that something like this could happen in a place known for its ambiance and food quality. No matter how popular a café may be, customer safety and hygiene must always be the top priority. I hope the management takes immediate steps to thoroughly clean the kitchen, train the staff, and conduct regular pest control to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I won’t be visiting again🤮

We ordered masala dosa, spaghetti and mushroom sandwich. Quiet satisfactory but I think their hot chocolate stole the heart for sure. Parking is available in basement of building and cafe is located at 1st floor.

The ambience , the food and the service is top notch. Ordered several things such as a masala dosa , French fries, Chicken burger, white sauce pasta and cold coffee and peach ice tea.. everything was on point , special mention to the chicken dimsums, will definitely visit again ✅

We ordered a mezze platter, cheese podi dosa and chicken tikka pizza. We also ordered filter coffee and tres leches in dessert. Each one of those was absolutely delicious. Mezze platter and tres leches was definitely my favourite. I haven't had a better meal in Palampur. 10/10 for the ambience. There was IPL screening too.

Cliffy is one of my best fine dine cafe,atmosphere is amazing,food is amazing. Proper hygienic food quality and well maintained kitchen area,staff behaviour is fabulous which makes cliffy one of the best in palampur area. Iced coffee with hazelnut syrup was really amazing,southindian food was too good. Thanks team cliffy for making our dinner so good. A view from tea plantaions from palampur is very beautiful. We can walk around tea plantations and take pictures. It is very calm place. We can buy the original different flavoured tea powder as well. The view includes snowy montains far away plus the green tea plantation are very eye catching

Really a good place to be at with your friends n family, located in the outskirts of Palampur 'city' and actually is the property of Hotel Fresco which gives you the luxury to stay at one of the finest n affordable properties in the vicinity of Palampur. Lastly I must say this that the staff was really co-operative to show me around the property and I personally found it to be a very neat n clean, well managed. And a lovely place to spend a day or two in this clean n green environment.

The setup of the cafe is pretty nice. The outdoor ambience is amazing. I loved it. A good place for breakfast or brunch. The staff was humble and polite. The food was average. I really liked their omelet and ABC juice (carrot and bettroot). The taco and burrito were okay. That particular day service was slightly slow but I think that's the case at most places in Himachal Pradesh. If you to Palampur then you should visit the place.

BEKAAR! service is very good hence the 3 stars. We reached the place around lunch time to find it totally empty except for one family. We started off by ordering two cold coffees which were absolutely bland ,tasteless and watery. The waiter was sweet to take it back and up it up a notch! We then ordered cheese and bacon sandwich, club sandwich, tuna sandwich and a salsizaa or something weirdly named pizza. Along with 3 brownies. We spent around ₹2250 odd. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY. EVEN THOUGH WE WERE FAMISHED WE COULDNT EAT THE food so just imagine. The STAFF is EXCELLENT. THATS IT. FOOD IS VERY VERY MEDIOCRE. I paid ₹270 by gpay for the brownies but was given only 2,the number given on their page doesn’t work. I will for sure not reco this place!!!!!

Quality of food, attention to detail, customer satisfaction and quiet unwind mood to it, make this cafe worth stopping by. They've done a great job with the caffeine options and the menu and the kitchen boast of several other expertly prepared dishes. We ordered 4 things, out of which 1 was not to our liking. The staff not only tried to correct it to our liking, but also did not charge for the dish. The cafe is under a management of Nishant who is friendly and boy he knows everything there is to know about coffee. food was tasty. service was good. we went there for a dinner on our trip. the restaurant revolves too slow for someone to notice it. We stayed there for around 2 hours but it didn’t even completed half the round. Rates are moderate. seating arrangement was good. staff was polite and helpful. I think visiting this place at day time would be more valuable than nighttime. We visited in winters, so no humidity was felt indoors.

We came here for lunch. The food was good. Service was pleasant. Staff is friendly and polite. It took almost 15 mins fo serve order and the food was tasty and quality was enough. Went there without much expectations. Surprisingly it turned out to be really good. Delicious food with heartwarming hospitality. Felt like one of the best places in the city for good food. Only con I felt was the lack of an open sitting area which considering the weather in that city is a must.

Visited for lunch with infant baby. Firstly Steward took wrong order and got us excessive dishes more than what was ordered (double main course). Secondly the order consisted of rajasthani lal maas which was not even remotely like the original dish. Mutton was uncooked and when the staff was informed about it they blatantly refused to accept the sub standard cooking. When the main chef was called he remorselessly told that the dish was always prepared this way and there was nothing wrong with the meat. My wife is a chef herself and any guy could have seen an uncooked Mutton. Attitude of staff is pathetic. Charges are overpriced, Ambience and infrastructure is good. Parking is available with difficulty. Food is not upto the mark. Better to avoid and visit any better restaurant in vicinity without making a hole in your pocket.

Vindhyavasini temple situated in Palampur Himachal Pradesh. Basically old Vindhyavasini temple is located in the dhauladhar range. It's around 9-10km from main Palampur market. You will easily able to do day trip to this temple. The road to all the way to temple is very secenic. This temple is highly recommended

A peaceful, clean and small temple of Goddess Durga, which is highly revered by the locals. The temple complex is medium in size and simple in looks and houses 3 temples, including the main Maa Vindhyavaasini temple. The priest there was very humble and kind to give us Prasad and Mata ki Chunri. Photography is not allowed. This place used to be a good family outing place in past but now it is dirty and not good at all. Don’t waste your time by going here. I didn’t even feel to take even a single picture of this place.

This is one of the most iconic and famous place in Palampur. One can enjoy trekking, river and mountains at this single place. The original bridge is hanging bridge and is actually known as Neugal Bridge.Negual is the name of the river.This bridge is no more operational now but there is a new bridge constructed and operational adjacent to hanging one. Shreshah movie had some shots shooted here. Just at the entrance to parking there is a small cafe hosted on a car named as BABA JI. I really liked the Maggie and the Kadak Tea. One should try it for sure if you are Maggi and tea combo lover. Hard to find the same taste.

Excellent place to spend evenings… soul-soothing experience. Saurabh vanvihar is also there to enjoy. But I loved the river, riverbank and zoolta pool the most.

This place is few kms from Palampur city. Good scenic view of weather and river on the bridge. You can also get Zip line there and have fun experience. The place is called Neugal Khad Bridge and easy name of Location is Saurav Van Vihar.

You can check this factory to see how tea powder is made from tea leaves. Google maps points to the back but the entrance is on the main road. The door is closed and you need to look for the security guard who will show you in. You can take a 10 min quick tour and then buy tea powder outside in the discount shop.

Right on the main highway, this fantastic tea factory is a must visit. There is a store upfront on the road where you can buy tea. Note that the same Kangra tea that is sold on multiple roadside stalls is a bit cheaper at the factory outlet. A trip inside the factory seeing the machines at work, creating what we consider every morning a magic in a cup was a great experience. The staff is courteous and the place is hustling and bustling with activity of hundreds of workers.

Set amidst the quiet town of Palampur, right on the main road, the Co-operative tea factory is where one of the finest and natural tea is made. Famously known as the Kangra tea. I had personally visited the factory in 2013 and witnessed the complete procedure of making the tea to it's packaging and distribution. Outside the factory there is a little shop from where you can buy tea packets. As of 2017, the factory structure has changed a bit! The shop from where you can buy Kangra tea packets, has now been included within the factory premises for your convenience.

Great landscapes of tea gardens. Nice place. You get a nice feeling. I had heard that the local tea has a unique taste. Got the taste of hand picked local tea taste at a shop. Did not find any thing special.

Location is 500 meters off the road and one has to walk through a CREMATION GROUND to reach the guest house, which is in its close vicinity. There is no path reaching the guest house so the elderly and medically impaired be warned. The Guest Rooms are not well maintained and there is no shower facility in the toilets. Very basic. The only plus point is the view and the serenity of the area.

If you want to relaxe for few days then this is good experience.Away from city pollution and crowd just stay in the lap of nature and walk on the paths and enjoy the location, hear the peaceful sound of stream, sit on rocks and chill. It's actually a once in a life time experience

I have been visiting here from 2016 and have almost gone 7 times till now. Staffs are very cooperative, food is awesome, and specially the view is something that relates to heaven. Keep it up guys.

1st thing its not connected to any road 2nd if you are with kids dont go, in emergency its very difficult to reach palmpur, because road almost 4 to 500 meter . 3rd night time not safe, ur welcome to this place first u will see shamshaan ghaat in entrence. 4th according rooms rent very high, starting from 4 to 5000, rooms like govt rest houses, if rent is 2 to 2500 than very good place for only friends circle or if ur kids are young more than 13 above. Views are awesome.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the river and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, It felt like a private beach, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at the best place of #palampur. Our stay at the hotel was just for two days two night. In short the stay was comfortable,enjoyable and we had a great time as well as Excellent hospitality.

10 August 2025 It is a good temple. You can hire cab approx 1k rupees from kangra bus stand. It is a huge, clean and beautiful temple. There is a kund in between where there is boating for amusement. Boating price 50 per person. Photographs to Chamunda Devi is prohibited. There is one more temple "Nandikeswar". Although, temple is as usual as the other temples but inside there is below a huge Rock. There are many shops for prashad but for eating the good dhaba near main road gate.

The Temple is undergoing renovation, you have facility for keeping sandals outside. There is ample car parking. Great vibes

Awesome palace out of city noise

Very pleasant and serene place to be with nature. Shiva temple just outside the premises and langha mata temple inside the premises. Swami Vigyanananda Giri look after the place. Swamiji initiates sincere seekers into kriya yoga, who wish tread on the path. No facilities are available for stay here. Trekking to this place is moderate, takes around 1-2 hours. Fresh air and water are in abundance. Place is cleanly maintained. Visitors be responsibly maintain the same. Let mata keep showering her blessings on us. Jai Mata Di.

The trail from Chandpur-Holta road near Palampur to this temple is amazing. The surrounding of the temple was a bit disappointing though, was expecting beautiful views of the Dhauladhar peaks up close from this temple area, but wasn't good enough as Birni Temple view point. The trail is nicely laid though, much better than the Birni Devi Temple trail and the forest through which one passes through is mind blowing as well. Easy hike 😌
