I had the chance to visit Brahma Sarovar in January this year, and it was truly a beautiful and peaceful experience. The place holds immense historical and spiritual significance, yet it’s surprisingly less known among tourists. The energy here is something you feel the moment you step in. It’s serene, scenic, and deeply rooted in India’s legacy. I really hope more efforts are made to promote this hidden gem—India needs to know more about treasures like this!

It’s basically a pong with a temple in it. Artificial/ man made and very well maintained. Not really a tourist place.

A beautiful place and main attraction in Kurukshetra. It is surrounded by ghats and the land of Kurukshetra is considered holy as the war of Mahabharata was fought here. It’s calm, well-maintained and a really good place for a stroll. Would definitely recommend to visit if you’re in the city.

This great place present the ancient historical war science practice in modern times.. through module, painting, cinema slideshow etc. Very nice efforts made to present Live Mahabharat war battle field. A good 3D show is also available at some extra charges.. must see by everyone, specially for Students for educative purpose. Clean and compact place with full security and safety. Good maintained.. very cooperative staff and informative guide at reasonable rates available. A great unique experience.

There are many places to visit in kurukshetra but this science panorma is one of my favourite places to visit It is because of many science experiments present in the panorama which leads us to get a better understanding of the science things that happened in the world so for the purpose of learning about science you should visit panorama. Is ticket only cost 50 rupees but if you are in a group of more than 25 people that will cost 40 rupees each person. There are many science experiment present related to math history astronomy and etc.

This is one of those places where you might end up spending hours since there’re a lot of small yet fun things to do. They have their own 3D show running, have a panorama view of Kurukshetra war on the first floor, and there are dozens of science related activities inside. A really good initiative by the local government to promote tourism.

Museum is well-designed especially the presentation of the Mahabharata war on the upper floor which was truly captivating. It offers a unique blend of science and history.....

The museum has six galleries, three each in two blocks. On display are stone sculptures, bronze castings, leaf etchings, miniature paintings, clay pottery and terracotta artifacts. An extension of this museum is the Multimedia Mahabharata and Gita Gallery set up by Haryana Tourism in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Someone has put a genuine effort into collecting crafts, artworks and manuscripts that do reflect the richness of the Krishna tradition in India - as well as local archaeological efforts - unfortunately, it's barely curated and poorly captioned like every Indian museum.

Shri Devikoop Bhadrakali Shaktipeeth is a beautiful and clean temple with good amount of parking. The temple is well maintained and has many sections to explore. Usually there is rush on Saturdays and Darshan can take around an hour.

Jai mata di This haaktipeeth is so famous and fulfill wishes of devottees. If you wish for something and gets completed people often offer replica of two small horses either silver or normal.

Saturday is more crowded. There is a unique Shani temple in the premises, where Shani bhagwan is present in 4 faces form on a ling structure. There is large parking space available in premises.

It's not a just building structure of Tomb..but also a multiple structure historical monument.. great Mughal architecture of red stone.. specious corridors.. green lash sorroundings with gardens but some structure are gradually detoriating due to improper repairing work..so many parts of the premises look like ruins , except the Marble made beautiful Tomb. Cooperative staff taking care of visitors.. but lack of security. In nearby areas no canteen or stall so take some edible food alongwith, specially if children are with you.

It is stated to be the meeting point of seven sacred rivers. The sarovar, according to popular belief, contains sacred water. Bathing in the sarovar on the day of new moon day or on the day of an eclipse is believed to bestow special blessings. The sarovar has well build। embankment and path to stroll along. The path too is lined with trees on one side. There are a few temples devoted to Hindu Gods and Goddesses along the banks of the sarovar. Special pooja is also carried out over here.

Believed to be the permanent abode of Lord Vishnu, Sannihit Sarovar is situated at a distance of 3 kms. from Kurukshetra on Pehowa Road. It is supposed that entire range of Tirthas assembles here on the day of Amavasya and as per the legends, if a man performs Shradhs at the time of solar eclipse and takes bath in this tank, he acquires the fruit of 1000 Ashwamedh sacrifices. At the time of solar eclipse, pilgrims gather at this holy spot. Interestingly visitors to this place can know about their ancestors from the Purohits or locally known as Pandas, who for ages have been the record keepers of the pilgrims coming from various parts of the country. Sikh Gurus too have visited this holy place from time to time.

After the war of Mahabharat, there were loads of unclaimed dead bodies lying on the battlefield. Yudhishtir was tasked by Shree Krishen to perform the last rites of those unclaimed bodies of both the sides of the armies. Hence, this is considered to be a famous place for the pind daan for anyone, by anyone!!

It's a simple old monument. Ticket counter is outside the main gate. Great to chill and hangout with friends or close ones here. Would recommend to visit either early morning or evening being the best time.

This is located alongside Sheikh Chili Tomb. It is an Historic Sight and it was excavated by the Archeological Survey of India Department. It is a property of Indian Government. You can visit it for free. You can also spend your complete day in this park.

The harsh ka tila is A amazing place situated at the kurukshetra near shekh chilli makbara. The harsh vardhan was a king of sthaneshvar in current time known as thaneshar. The place is amazing for its natural beauty their is too much greenery in the surroundings. You must visit thr place if u are visiting to the kurukshetra. Their are many historical places near the tila. Like maa bhadarkali temple, ssthaneshwatr temple, shekh chilli ka makbara. The timing to visit shekh chilli is 9 to 5 PM. Only few animals are here. Maintenance has not been done properly, animal area is not clean, water is not clean and grasses have overgrown...zoo really needs proper maintenance.

A small zoo, ideal for spending about an hour exploring all the exhibits. The main attractions include a lion and a hippopotamus.

Pipli Mini Zoo, while not as large as some of the major zoos, offers a charming and intimate experience with a variety of animals and birds. The smaller size of the zoo makes it manageable to explore in a few hours, and the atmosphere is usually calm and educational. Many visitors appreciate the opportunity to learn about the animals and their habitats, often with informational displays or guided tours.

That's a nearest zoo to Karnal, so we use to visit there sometimes. Well there aren't much animals but still one or two tigers are center of attraction here. You'll get to see crocodile as well and few amazing birds too. That's a nice place and tickets are very cheap. I'll surely recommend this place. 5 out of 5 for sure.

A good place to visit for short picnic...just about 1 km in diameter, you can visit in about 30-60 minutes. 60 minutes are enough. Not all animals are there but tiger and lion are there. So go and watch...

Just ok place. Had many major brand showroom there like Louis Philippe,can Hussain,Zara,trends,apple,Peter England,woodland and some others brands. But no variety of products and the price much higher than the other stores I had visited. The building has 3 floors but the upper 2 are empty. There was no shops or anything. Not in a category of mall. Just a small showroom you can say it.

The Kessel mall in Kurukshetra area is a big mall, however the shops are less and the availability of food items and brands is scarce, however good place to hangout in the city but need real attention from mall management to improve mall condition and add more food joint brands so that the walkin should improve more. Parking is another problem, but according to the city’s situation the mall should have much people coming to hangout.

Not much to shop for. Found it kinda empty. But yea, Trendz had a full-fledged loaded with stuff. Nice ambience there.

Good dharamshala with beautiful garden, next to Brahma Sarovar. Not fancy but okay for a night, rates are also low. double bed rooms rates -- AC 600/-, Cooler 500/- & room with common lat/bath 200/-.

One of the original place in Kurukshetra but not much maintained. Kund was having green water. Do go for darshana.

Though it has not the charm of Jindal time, as the equipments are not working, still it is good place to walk and talk

It's good for kids. There are various swings and slides. Also there are many benches with table (made up of rock), so that you can sit and chat with your friends and have snacks. But It's not good to visit there at evening time when it get dark. There is no lighting. All Street lamps in the park doesn't work. So it may be dangerous and scary.

This place is located in Pehowa, Kurushtra, and is known for lessons delivered by Shri Krishana to Arjun before the Mahabharat fight. These lessons were later known as Geeta Updesh. This place is well maintained by the authorities and its very beautiful to be there in the late evening. Few other temples were added to this place like Mata Sarswati temple & others.

This place is calming and nice but what I didn’t like is women bathing naked in the pond. Though there were changing rooms yet these people in our country don’t understand… it was very embarrassing for us to walk around and men were standing and gazing as well. I wouldn’t recommend anyone do bathe there but you can still visit there and offer your prayers

It is a very big and beautiful place where the water keeps 3-4° cold than the outer side.

"Visited Brahm Sarovar and felt peace and spirituality. It's a beautiful place. However, the water was a bit dirty—hope the authorities can look into cleaning and maintaining it better.

Must Religious place to visit. Very beautiful temple, very neat and clean spritual place. You can visit at any time before 8.30 pm. You can feel positive vibes all around. Must attend the aarti in morning and evening time. Evening aarti at 7pm. It is more beautiful during day time.

Tirupati Balaji is a really beautiful temple situated in Kurukshetra. It gives a chance for everyone to see what Tirupati Balaji temple looks like in south. The place is beautifully maintained and managed. They maintain social distancing. The entire premise is very neat. There is ample of space for parking. One interesting thing I learnt while I went to this temple the nth time is: Right opposite to Tirupati Balaji there is Garud Ji. Garud Ji is the biggest disciple of Lord Balaji, so bending down and praying is not permitted here, as if we do that we have our feet towards Garud ji. The priest there told me about this when I was about to bow down and do mattha teko. Very peaceful and serene place.

Well built replica of Tirupati Venkatesh temple of Tirumala Hills and managed by TTD Board and donated by one London based Sethia family as per sign board installed there. Priests are from South India.

UPDATE: AARTI TIMINGS (SUMMERS) 7:00 am to 7:30 am 11:00 am to 11:30 am 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm It is only the second Tirupati Balaji Temple in India. It has been built recently and the environment has been kept the same as in the original temple. The devotees of Lord Vishnu have been visiting the temple from the day of its inauguration. The priests have been called from original temple only. The Sandhya Aarti is a beautiful time to visit the temple. It is just behind the Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra.

The temple, under the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust, Kurukshetra. It is located near the Brahma sarovar kurukshetra. The texture of the temple is really awesome. It took hard work of thousands of contractual labourers and 1,500 tonnes of graphite brought from Tamil Nadu to complete the miniature replica of Tirupati temple in Haryana," a spokesman of the state government said here. A local committee has also been constituted for managing the affairs of the temple. The temple would remain open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for pilgrims, the spokesman said.

It is a Hindu temple located near Brahm sarovar kurukshetra. This temple is dedicated to lord Venkateshwara, who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple is built with stunning architecture and intricate carvings and is similar to most of the south Indian temples. The place is quiet and you can visit this place in the evening before 9.00 PM.

The architects and the Chol king have done great work if we talk about "Vaastukala" And a very unique statue of Narayana where he has put his hands over his ears.

This temple is of lord vishnu and lakshmi. It is very old and people say that it is of Mahabharata time. There is dharmshala also where Pilgrimsbor tourists may stay. This is very near or adjacent to the sannihit sarovar. Kurukshetra panorama and vigyan kendra is adjacent to this temple. Nabha house is beside this temple.

THE WORST WORST WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I wish I could give 0 stars. I visited it in summer holidays the time when most people are supposed to visit this place and they said there's no show because projector is not working! WHAT DO YOU MEAN?? Fix it! Also the museum is outdated as if it stopped with time no upgradation on graphics no maintanence most of the things are not working. The science park is also not impressive at all plus if you wanna buy ticket you need to have loose cash also NO CANTEEN! So bring your snacks or starve.

This is a serene place enriched with knowledge....planeterium offers an excellent opportunity to gain deeper understanding of stars, satellites and planets...incharges here have a very kind and pleasant nature...

Those people who have interest in science and occult science would really love this because this is completely scientific place to understand and must come in winters because the area is completely open and flowers are show amazing the ticket cost is very minimal and no food is available inside this location. A lot to learn here.

I will not recommend to visit at this place . It's waste of money. ---- there is sign board that they accept cards and upi payments but they do not so make sure you have loose cash because they eve don't have change as well . ---- Mostly there main vedio viewing does not work so you have to see and walk through there Gellary area which is also not operational. To review on it my main focus only for those persons who come from long distance and pay extra to autos to visit at that place and this place is waist of time and Money both .

Kalpana Chawla Planetarium is situated on Kurukshetra-Pehowa Road near Jyotisar Tirth which is totally away from crowd, traffic and pollution of city. The projects shown are planets positions in zodiacs, time yantras, weight on different planets, time in different cities of world. Puzzles and Quiz on Zodiacs and Universe are also present. Biography of First Aerospace Women Engineer of PEC, Chandigarh Kalpana Chawla is also shown with images and audio & video clips which is very inspiring for young generation. The Astro - Park is the main focus of this planetarium. Various projects on light, time and universe theory are installed in the park. The planetarium is spacious and well maintained. The urinals and toilets are clean and odour free. Sufficient parking space is available in front of main gate. Staff is very cooperative and helpful. DISAPPOINTMENT - Many services like 3D film show and canteen are not open after COVID-19 outbreak even when the situation is normal now and various doses of COVID vaccines are taken by citizens of India. Its very good for younger generation to visit this place. It has very interesting gallery display about planets and memory of Kalpana Chawala.

One star is because there is no option to give less then this. Visited three times in last six months and everytime they say that planatorium will start next month but it's not functioning

Good place for a morning walk and play with kids

You'll enjoy the place if you know about the history of that particular location. Otherwise it's just an another Lake. I'm posting an image of that Lake which has reflection of clouds.

In our school days, in 90s, there was no fencing and it was not ASI asset. We used to cycle uphill to fetch bers there. It is behind NIT. You can walk through dayalpur village. Recently, after more than 20 years, I thought to drive towards that area, and I see it is all fenced and good to see that it is free from encroachments.

Historical place of Mahabharata Times , related to Raja Karan, now under control of ASI . It has a park . Aapkah , another holy tank is located close by in ruins .

It is ancient historical place. Have a harbal park and Green Grass Lawns. Situated near Farm Mirzapur.

Raja Karna ka Tilla is an archaeological mound located at the end of village Mirjapur near Kurukshetra University. Local legends associate it with Karna, the eldest son of Kunti, the tales of whose valour virility and Chivalry are sung in the epic and later classified Sanskrit literature. The mound is about 9-12 meter high. For the first time a trial trench was excavated by Mr. D.B Spoorer in the year 1922-23.
