Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Aquariums
The National Zoo of Malaysia, established by the Malaysian Zoological Society in 1963, is a sprawling 110-acre open-concept zoo that houses over 5,000 animals from more than 450 different species. The zoo features a wide range of domestic and exotic animals, with over 90% of them living in spacious exhibits designed to reflect their natural habitats. Visitors can explore the diverse collection of mammals, birds, and reptiles while enjoying the opportunity to feed the animals during special occasions.
A very good and enjoyable experience after many years have not been there. Took almost 4 hrs to finish all the areas. It was a good exercises to walk all the way around. Must wear good walking shoes. Stop at the cafe inside the area to rest and have lunch. The foods served were quite good with reasonable prices. Recommended to bring family at least once in a lifetime 🤩

Zoo Negara is still offering birthday month complimentary ticket! Redemption is hassle free. Just fill up a Google form and show your IC at the counter for your wristband. Nothing short of our national zoo. I’m glad to see the animals are well fed as they are no longer skinny and look healthy, clean and well looked after. Some areas are closed for maintenance but that’s just a few of the whole big zoo. The live show is also amazing. Truly impressed by the caliber the zoo is showcasing. Plenty of benches for you to rest throughout the whole area. Although the panda exhibit is no longer available (pandas have been returned), but happy to see the zoo is making good use of the space. Please note that zoo parking is RM15 per entry. A bit pricey but it is well coordinated so it’s a seamless entry. Hope the parking fees go to the zoo for management of the place as well.

Went here on Friday. It took me around 2-3 hours to finished walking and watching all animals here. I literally watch every single animals that were available that day. Sadly there was no animals show on friday. The staffs were attentive enough to help me claim the birthday treat free ticket. The crowd on that day was okay. Not too packed. So i get to take my time to look at each animals a lil longer. Advisable to follow the map route so you won't miss any animals. I started from the left side of entrace A and finished on the right side of the same entrace. Shuttle service was provided but i think it only reach at certain places. I used the toilet behind a souvenir store near entrace A and it was clean. Overall, really satisfied with my experience here.

Had a great time at Zoo Negara! So many animals to see — giraffes, tigers, penguins, tapir, birds, reptiles, everything! The siamang was super loud and funny 😂 The zoo is clean, easy to walk around, and the animal show was really cute. I came solo and still enjoyed it a lot. Worth the visit! 💛
Hehet S — Google review
We visited Zoo Negara with our family on a weekday. Since we didn’t purchase tickets in advance, we had to wait in line for quite a while. As expected, foreign visitors had to pay a higher ticket price compared to locals. That said, the zoo itself was worth the visit ,there were plenty of animals to see and spacious areas to explore. The kids especially had a lot of fun, and there were also things that adults could enjoy. Overall, it was a fun and memorable family outing.🤩

-Got free pass for the birthday promo(thank you) -Start the tour by visiting the animal show, quite fun to see it live, some show got skip due to animal flee, its normal anyway -the aquatic enclosure doesnt have much except for the penguin but hard to see due to water density -hypo is fine, just chilling, -monkey chilling around -capybara and oyen cute as always -sunbear looks healthy -wallabi deer kancil and family all relaxing -snake is beautiful -kokodile is kokodile -big cat most of them are sleeping -apoh the black panther really fat -have a chance to see playful act at mini savana -camel sleep -sad no panda, panda auntie sller said maybe next year new panda arrive. -bird are playful, love the enclosure where merak chicken n turkey? roaming free -orangutan cover his head with sack(its rainining lightly) -most snack and beverage are about 2 -4 times pricier than outside -Parking last year rm10, now rm15 per entry

Spending 3–4 hours in zoo negara is no a big problem — watching the animals is very chill too. Animals are well feed, big compound. Perhaps some animals is only one, perhaps look a bit lonely. They also offer a free birthday ticket within 30 days after your birthday, which is great. Although the pandas were under quarantine during my visit, I’ll definitely go again soon.
Wan C — Google review
Redeeming free birthday ticket was so easy. Just scan the QR, register and proceed to counter 4 with your IC to get wristband. The place is big. For those didn't want to walk, tram service available for you. A place to eat, toilet, souvenir shop and surau also available. So much animal to explore, read the informative sign, and good for you and your family knowledge and watch live animals. Ticket price (M'sian) = adult RM48 Parking per entry = RM15 Will repeat again when Panda conservatory is open to public.

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Aquaria KLCC is a sprawling aquarium that offers an immersive underwater experience with over 5,000 exhibits showcasing marine and land creatures. Visitors can stroll through a clear tunnel as fish swim overhead, witness feeding shows, and interact with sea cucumbers and starfish at Gene Pool. The aquarium features more than 150 species of marine life including tiger sharks, sea snakes, rays, coral fish, and seahorses.
Last week we visited Aquaria KLCC with the kids and it was such a wonderful experience for the whole family. The kids were really excited and enjoyed every moment. Inside, we could see so many different kinds of sea creatures — from sharks, turtles, big stingrays, and seahorses, to many unique types of fish. The aquarium is well maintained, clean, and the display tanks are very impressive. The staff were also friendly and helpful, making the visit even more comfortable. It was not only fun for the children but also educational, because they could learn about marine life while watching it up close. Overall, it was a happy and memorable trip for us. Definitely a recommended place to visit in KL, especially for families with kids.
Fahmee A — Google review
This place has been around since I was in primary school, and now that I already have a kid, it’s still the same. Honestly, nothing much has changed. Price 💵💳 Ticket price is RM48 on weekends and RM44 on weekdays. You can buy tickets online, and they also have a combo ticket for 2 parents and 1 child. The entrance line can be long whether you buy online or walk in, you’ll still queue in the same lane. For online tickets, you’ll need to show proof with your MyKad and MyKid. Babies under 2 years old enter for free. Environment 🪼 The place isn’t very spacious, but there are plenty of fish to see. Facilities are okay, but they could really use some improvement because nothing seems to have changed in decades. Parking🚗🚕🚙 For parking, you can park at Suria KLCC and walk through the connecting link between Suria KLCC and Traders Hotel. If you’re at Suria, find the Maybank inside n next to it, there’s a passage that connects directly to Aquaria. Alternative Parking🚗🚕🚙 Alternatively, you can park at the Traders building itself and go up to Level C, or at UOA Open Parking which is about a 5-minute walk away. It’s easy to spot, and parking there costs RM10 per day.

We visited Aquaria KLCC on 29 October, myself, my mom, siblings, and their kids. We had a great time overall! The kids were really entertained, and we truly enjoyed the exhibits and the entire walkthrough. Just to share some feedback for future visitors, I noticed on the website it says the elevator is under maintenance until further notice. Since Im not too familiar with the layout, I thought it referred to the escalator near the entrance. We purchased our tickets online through Klook as planned, but upon arrival, the staff kindly explained that the elevator issue meant we would need to use the stairs between floors. Unfortunately, we had strollers with us, and there were no lockers to keep them, so we had to carry them by hand. Not really a big problem, but it would be super helpful if the website announcement included a photo or a short note explaining which elevator is affected, that way, parents or elderly visitors can plan ahead. Also, a huge thank you to the team for their kindness! Especially the lady near the escalator and Danial at the entrance, they were both incredibly helpful and understanding when I accidentally scanned one extra ticket (for my dad who didnt join the trip). They handled it very professionally and made the whole experience smooth. Despite the small inconvenience, we loved our visit and will definitely come back again for the in adventure!
Fitri N — Google review
The aquarium is well organised and clean, with a good flow from one zone to another. The underwater tunnel was the highlight, walking through it while sharks and stingrays glide above is an amazing sight. The staff were friendly and helpful. The environment is fully air-conditioned, which makes it a comfortable stop in the city. It’s also stroller and wheelchair-friendly and easy to access from Suria KLCC or the Convention Centre. It can get a bit crowded during weekends, but visiting early in the day helps. Overall, it’s a great place to learn about marine life and spend about one to two hours in Kuala Lumpur. Definitely worth visiting!
ZHENG C — Google review
Had a wonderful time at Aquaria KLCC! The entire place is beautifully maintained and gives you a magical underwater experience. From colourful fishes to sharks, stingrays, jellyfish and many unique species, every section is truly fascinating. The 90-meter tunnel walkway was the highlight — it really feels like walking under the ocean! The ambience is calm, the exhibits are well-organised, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a perfect spot to visit with family, friends, or your partner, and you can easily spend 1–2 hours exploring everything. What I didn’t like: The food court outside didn’t have good vegetarian options, which was a little disappointing. Also, the photos they click inside are quite expensive, so keep that in mind before purchasing. Overall, it’s still a must-visit attraction in Kuala Lumpur if you love marine life and want a relaxing, fun experience. Worth visiting at least once!
Priyanka G — Google review
The experience was truly worthwhile and will definitely be coming back again! To those who are interested, I recommend going when you or multiple of your family members are celebrating your birthday on that month to get FREE ENTRY. Not just recommended for tourists, but also for locals. The place is undescribable and you'll definitely want to come again after your first visit. Also, best to visit during weekdays because it's always a full house here for sure, especially on the weekends.
Emcee B — Google review
My recent visit to the aquarium was a short but incredibly positive experience, providing a much-needed break from the everyday hustle. The highlight was standing in front of the massive ocean tunnel tank. For a few minutes, everything else melted away. The deep, calming blue of the water and the graceful, silent movement of the stingrays gliding by felt truly meditative.
Mr H — Google review
The aquarium in the center of Twinter has many uniquely shaped and bold tanks that really caught my attention. You can see impressive fish like Biracle and Villania from various angles, making the whole experience feel like a little adventure. It’s a fun and exciting place, and I truly recommend visiting it.

Science museum
Museums
Petrosains, The Discovery Centre is a modern museum that offers an in-depth look into the science and technology of the energy industry. It features interactive exhibits and activities designed to engage visitors, particularly children, in STEM-related learning experiences. The museum also includes a cafe and gift shop for visitors to enjoy. While some displays may not be fully operational, there are plenty of attractions to keep guests entertained, including thrilling spinning rides suitable for older children.
This discovery centre is so well put together! It’s fully air-conditioned, so maybe bring a jumper for the little ones. It wasn’t overcrowded during our visit — we booked tickets in advance, but even the queue for buying tickets was minimal (probably because we visited outside the Malaysian holidays). There’s so much to see and do here, so be prepared for a full day — it really keeps the kids interested and engaged. My personal favourite part was right at the end: the dinosaurs! 🦖 Definitely a great family outing, and the ticket price is very reasonable for what you get.
Inzy A — Google review
We didn’t buy in advance as we are unsure what time we can really make it so we bought on the spot when we reach there. I didn’t validate this but the staff told another customer that both online and physical ticket price are the same. We spent almost a good 3 hours inside and really well managed queue system compared to Aquaria. Due to the birthday free promo, although I can get a free ticket, I chose to not take it reason for the bad queue management and having two children, it’s not great to queue long unnecessarily. Best 3 hours spent on a public hols.
Yee L — Google review
Visited during the school holidays with my kids and it was such a fun experience! We bought the tickets online which was very convenient. There are so many interesting places for children to explore and learn, plus a nice café to relax. The 3D show was really amazing and entertaining. Highly recommended to visit and enjoy every corner and activity there!
Madam S — Google review
This place can get crowded especially in the afternoon so do buy tickets online in advance, we always do and don't have to queue. We've been here twice and enjoyed our time. There are a lot of exhibits and interactive games, beautiful interior, and interesting information to learn. Recommended to ride the capsule to learn about how energy was developed and go into the 3D viewing for environmental awareness. Tickets are affordable. My son especially enjoyed the dinosaur exhibition. My daughter loved the mini excavator part. Recommended to go, enjoyable and educational.
Anis H — Google review
Our visit to Petrosains in August 2025 was absolutely amazing — easily one of the most informative and entertaining experiences we’ve had in Kuala Lumpur. This science discovery centre is a brilliant mix of facts, hands-on experiences, and science gamification that keeps both kids and adults fully engaged. We spent almost 4 hours exploring, and the kids were as impressed as they were fascinated — they simply didn’t want to leave! They loved learning about space, the fascinating dinosaurs area, Formula 1 technology, the gas and oil industry, and vertical agriculture. The mind control experiments, earthquake simulations, and 3D movie were huge hits too. Every section is designed to spark curiosity, making science both fun and unforgettable. It’s the kind of place where you leave with your head buzzing with new knowledge and your heart happy from all the fun. Tip: Plan at least half a day here — there’s so much to see and do, and you won’t want to rush.
Purple K — Google review
Had a great time at Petrosains KLCC! Super fun and educational for both kids and adults. Lots of hands-on exhibits, interactive science zones, and friendly staff who explain things clearly. Perfect spot for families or anyone curious about science and technology!

A haven of discovery, this place is an adventure like no other! Young and old are welcome here to learn fun facts about the world around us, there is something for everyone for sure! Buying tickets in advance is highly recommended and the add-on Energy Capsule ride (sold separately from main ticket) was an eye-opening experience. Truly had an amazing time at the Petrosains Discovery Centre, thank you for the experience!

Had an amazing experience here! Fantastic value for money, with several hours of fun and learning involved. There really is something for all ages and its very well built and maintained. My partner and I are in our 20's and we loved it. The science, the scenery, the fun activities as well as the stations that they have to teach you about the interesting subject matters that they have chosen. I hope this review isnt to vague as I didnt want to give to much away as you really should experience it for yourself. My favourite was the motorbike simulator ;) Overall a well deserved 5/5

Theme park
Water & Amusement Parks
Amusement park
Berjaya Times Square Theme Park is a massive indoor theme park located in Malaysia, spanning across two floors within the Berjaya Time Square Kuala Lumpur. The park offers a diverse range of attractions suitable for both thrill-seekers and young children. With its Fantasy Garden catering to little kids and Galaxy Station designed for adrenaline junkies, the park promises an exciting experience for all visitors. From thrilling rides to interactive games and virtual entertainment, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
A Thrilling Escape in the Heart of KL: My Visit to Berjaya Times Square Theme Park 5/5 Stars Visited Berjaya Times Square Theme Park on a rainy afternoon in November 2025, and it turned out to be the perfect indoor adventure to beat Kuala Lumpur's unpredictable weather. Nestled right inside the massive Berjaya Times Square shopping mall on Levels 5 and 7, this spot is a game-changer for families or anyone craving some adrenaline without stepping outside. As Malaysia's largest indoor theme park, spanning a whopping 133,000 square feet, it delivers non-stop fun across two zones: the high-octane Galaxy Station for thrill-seekers and the whimsical Fantasy Garden for the little ones. We kicked things off with the Supersonic Odyssey Roller Coaster – a twisting, looping beast that had us screaming in the best way possible. It's compact but packs a punch, and at just RM 14.80 for entry tickets (booked online via Trip.com for a smooth 20% discount), the value is unbeatable. The park's 13 rides, like the Robo Crash bumper cars and the dizzying Spinning Orbit, kept us bouncing between laughter and heart-pounding excitement for over three hours. For kids, the Fantasy Labyrinth – Malaysia's first crochet playground – was a highlight; it's colorful, interactive, and surprisingly therapeutic after the faster rides. What I loved most was how seamless it all felt. No long queues (even on a weekend), friendly staff guiding us through safety checks, and easy access from the MRT (just a 7-minute walk from Pudu station). The air-conditioned mall vibe means you can grab a quick bite – think nuggets, waffles, and ice cream from nearby stalls for around RM 40-60 – without missing a beat. Pro tip: Opt for the combo ticket if you're eyeing the extra VR rides or 4D cinema; they're worth the upcharge for that immersive wow factor. Sure, the park shows a bit of its age in spots (some rides feel like they could use a fresh coat of paint), but that doesn't detract from the joy. It's not Sunway Lagoon's scale, but for an urban quick-hit of entertainment, it's spot-on. If you're in KL with kids or just need a fun break from shopping, this is your go-to. Can't wait to return – next time, we're tackling the Haunted House! Highly recommended for all ages. 🎢
Manish T — Google review
I was quite disappointed with this theme park. The selection of rides for kids was not very attractive, and the height restrictions were higher compared to other theme parks I’ve visited around the world. This further limited the options for children, especially those between the ages of 8 to 13. Most rides seemed to be either for very small kids or adults, leaving little in between. While some adult rides like the roller coaster were decent, other attractions such as the Go-Kart were closed for a private event. This was frustrating, especially considering we had paid full price for entry — it’s simply not fair to block access to rides that are included in the ticket. Several other rides were also closed, which only added to the disappointment. What’s more, even if you're just accompanying your children and not planning to go on any rides, you still have to pay around RM80, which I find unreasonable. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this theme park. It’s overpriced and lacks value, especially for families with kids in the 8–13 age group. Definitely not worth it in my opinion.
Junaid T — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Berjaya Times Square is a huge shopping mall with a great mix of stores, restaurants, and entertainment options — even an indoor theme park! It’s a fun place to spend the day and you can find almost anything here. However, the layout can feel a bit confusing at times and some areas could use a refresh. Overall, a lively spot in the heart of Kuala Lumpur worth visiting.
Nafis F — Google review
Fun and excitement right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur! 🎢🎠 Berjaya Times Square Theme Park is a must-visit attraction if you’re in KL — especially if you’re looking for an indoor adventure where fun meets convenience. Located on the 5th and 7th floors of Berjaya Times Square Mall, this is Malaysia’s largest indoor theme park, and it truly lives up to its reputation. The park is divided into two main zones — Galaxy Station (for thrill seekers) and Fantasy Garden (for families and younger kids). Galaxy Station features the iconic Supersonic Odyssey roller coaster, a full-loop indoor coaster that’s both thrilling and smooth. Other exciting rides include Spinning Orbit, DNA Mixer, and Ooorts Express, all perfect for adrenaline lovers. Fantasy Garden is colorful and cheerful, filled with kid-friendly rides like Buddy Go Round, Molly-Cool’s Swing, and Honey Bump bumper cars. There’s even a small arcade area and snack stalls throughout the park. 💰 Ticket prices: Adults (13–54 years): Around RM 70–80 Children (3–12 years): Around RM 60–70 Seniors (55+): Around RM 35–40 Children under 3 enter free. (Prices may vary slightly depending on promotions or public holidays.) The park is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s fully air-conditioned, making it an excellent escape from the city’s heat or rain. Food options are easily accessible since the theme park is inside the Berjaya Times Square Mall — you’ll find everything from fast food to local restaurants just outside the park entrance. 🎟️ Tips: Try visiting on weekdays to avoid long queues, especially for the roller coaster. You can re-enter the park on the same day, so feel free to take breaks for lunch or shopping. Perfect for family outings, birthday parties, or just a fun afternoon with friends.

I only explored the outside. Don't go inside. But I can say that this place is in the middle of the city.. I recommend you to stay in the areas close to here. I stayed near here for three days. The food options are great. I also recommend Bar Street, which is a 10-minute walk away.

Very good shopping mole. They got all kinds of shopping items. Easy to access. Good service. Prices are usually little bit higher buy in some stoles we can bargain and buy for cheeper prices.
Punsisi K — Google review
This is a remarkably large place! It seems to have a wide variety of shops, excellent bargains, and appealing food choices. The layout appears well-organized for walking, and I would suggest beginning at the upper levels and working your way down, as I observed some more affordable options there.
Muaaz A — Google review
Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s bustling Bukit Bintang area, Berjaya Times Square is a massive and vibrant mall complex offering over 1,000 retail outlets across its multiple floors . It’s a magnet for both bargain seekers and budget-conscious visitors. Fashion lovers will appreciate the abundance of affordable clothing stores. Many stalls offer women’s apparel from RM 10 to RM 50—about US$2.50 to US$12.50—perfect for the savvy fashionista watching her wallet . Add to that outlet-style shops and small technology kiosks, and you’ve got a one-stop shop for great deals . Food-wise, the mall doesn’t disappoint. With more than 60 dining options, including casual food court fare on the 10th floor and international cafés like Sushi King and Dôme, you can refuel without breaking the bank . For entertainment, the indoor theme park—home to Asia’s longest indoor roller coaster—and family-friendly attractions add fun to your shopping trip, offering good value for money too . Though it’s not a luxury destination, Berjaya Times Square shines in its diversity, affordability, and lively atmosphere. Whether you’re in it for budget fashion finds, electronic bargains, or a full day of fun, it offers excellent bang-for-buck value. Ideal for families, teens, and anyone exploring KL on a shoestring.

The Garage KL is a unique urban commercial outlet made entirely of shipping containers, offering a variety of specialty stores, a salon, and a motor workshop. The highlight is its own cafe which serves Western and Asian cuisine, children's menu, and delectable desserts. Located in Ampang, Malaysia, it features an eco-green concept with recycled materials.
Ordered beef wraps. The wraps were well seasoned and it was well cooked. Nice presentation though. A must try is the premium nectar drink or a.k.a carbonated nira. It was so good. The atmosphere and environment for this place is great as well. Spacious, proper lighting made all the differences here.

Great place to hangout. Simple decorated place but very style and cool. Many delicious foods to try. Many choices of western foods. The foods are delicious. Well cooked and yummy. The service just average. For me, the price is quiet pricey, not really suitable with the portion. Overall, everything is okay, not bad.

Kemensah Valley, a small recreational area close to Kuala Lumpur, offers an ideal getaway from the urban environment. This tranquil valley provides a vibrant green oasis where visitors can enjoy fresh air and natural beauty. It is recommended for families seeking a camping experience. However, some suggest that additional toilets and bathrooms would enhance the facilities. Despite this limitation, Kemensah Valley Recreation and Chalet remains a pleasant destination for nature lovers looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle.

Spent two days one night for a school camp trip. The site has good basic facilities; tents, cottages, toilets, Muslim prayer room, and a shop. It is surrounded by jungle and flowing rivers. Parking areas are available just outside the campsite. The operator offers team building activities. They are friendly and knowledgeable about outdoor activities. The meals provided by the site are delicious. All activities are conducted outdoors. It would be difficult when it rains as there is no big hall to cater to the campers for indoor activities.

The children loved it and we loved it too. I wanted to give 4 stars because there’s only 1 toilet & 1 bathroom to be shared. Maybe the other side of the campsite has another 1 toilet & bathroom but still I think they can add more. Overall, it’s a nice place to camp & perfect for family. Just prepare yourself with the limited toilet & shower.

Nice place. Quite clean. The river is not too deep and the current is moderate. Safe for bringing small children. Need to pay 5 ringgit for the parking and also pay for entry as well. They do provide tent rental if you need some privacy there. Can overnight there with some charges. Better to book if you want to go there.

Very good and calm place for a day out.. kids will enjoy a lot playing in river. Prefer to take your own food.. you can get few snacks here.

You must pay to rent a site along the river and parking fees. The water is not too deep and suitable for children. You can have barbeque here. Best for family picnic and events. I visit here with my friends and really have a good time. Highly recommended and you will not regret it.

Get closer to the nature smartest way. Located deep inside Kemensah Hill, Ampang. Its a small route and driving around here need some consideration and awareness. The place have nice location with wonderful river along its property. People can choose or rent some of the place whether a small camping spot, or 1 room chalet. Always depend on what kind of activities you and your group prefered. Well organized and strategic along the river bank. You can also rent out their cooking equipment or even asked for an extra air matress for your tent. But, the downside is their public toilet or restroom. This place simply neglected this basic necessity for the people. Unhygienic toilet, lack of water, cramp restroom, dirty and smelly toilet. Same goes with their chalet. Its not very well maintain and some of the chalet equipment is out of order or in a very poor state. Totally unfair with their price and condition. Should do much more better work on this issue.
Hafiz H — Google review
The parking is very small. Bathrooms are wet and dirty. The tents are very new and clean. The wooden platforms next to the river are old and dusty, not very comfortable. Kids had a great time playing in the river though.

Bukit Batu Chondong offers a challenging yet satisfying hiking experience, with a steep and at times technical climb to the top. The 30-45 minute hike is recommended for nature lovers and hikers, featuring ropes for support along the way. The trail leads to three different viewpoints, with the main rock offering an exceptional panoramic view.
Although just a short trail of hiking (around 30 to 45 minutes depends upon your fitness)…it does test your endurance as it’s ascending from the very beginning to the peak. The trail quite slippery and you have to be very careful as you walk through the bushes of bamboos… mind your head because you have to bend down as well as you walk through it. Oh 1st of all you’ve got to get a permit to enter here. And way up to the peak is quite steep and tricky because you need to rock climbing so please be extra careful. View is 360 degrees. Very nice view they had up there and you can see Genting from here too.

Rented carpark for Kamensah ttail hiking at rm5 per entrance. With toilet facility. Ok, convenient. Climb the steep hill to enter Bukit Condong trail and Batu Asah Waterfall. Needs permit to enter, or else rent ATV service which include permit package.

Start hike at 6:30 am. Good time for sunrise view is around 7:15 am. Hike and climbing apx 30-40mins to the the peak. Many dogs here. 3 options to the peak, you can choose the easier trail if you don't like to climb a tree.
A T — Google review
The road leading up to the trail head is narrow, and need to do tight maneuver when there's on coming traffic. As shared by others, there's a comfortable parking space just slightly after the trailhead, but it's private land, so it charges RM5 per car (at time of writing this review). The trail is indeed slippery and steep, so need proper shoes with good traction, especially towards the top where it's rocky. At the peak, there's a path around the rock to reach the top (magnificent view), if you're not confident to scale the almost vertical rock with ropes.
Ben G — Google review
First time went there and find out it’s kinda difficult at the end of the route. When you want to climb up to see the sunset or sunrise it’s kinda hard to climb up. So far we make it and get to enjoy the view! Very peaceful and beautiful! Love this place!

For all the hikers and nature lover, this place will be so satisfying. Lets start with short hike around 30 to 45 minutes. The hike will be challenging and there is rope attach aside for support. The mainframe will be the top view of Bukit Batu Chondong. Totally there is 3 place where can get the view and make sure check all this three for greater experience. The main rock where there is signboars of the height of the place will get best ever feeling. Damn much recommended for all the people. Enjoy the greater view of the Malaysia. Add info , there is small waterfall but we are unable to sibce its the day was raining and tired. Those wish can give try as welll.

The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, were once the tallest buildings in the world and remain an iconic symbol of the city. These modern Islamic-designed towers stand at 88 stories high and offer a visitor skybridge for breathtaking views. Guided tours are available for visitors to explore the towers, including the Observation Deck on the 86th floor with stunning panoramic views.
Ear popping experience you will not regret. Buying tickets in advance online recommended. Takes less than an hour and the staff are all very helpful and guide you thru every stop to the skybridge and top on the 86th floor observation deck. Great gift shops on top floor and ground as you exit. They even let you mail your postcards right there! Put this short but memorable stop on your list in KL!

Visited this place recently and I must say I found this building quite charming compared to other high towers. We went during twilight and could see the sound and light show as well. People were very well organised and there is a lot of place to sit around too. Loved the vibes of this place and could be amazing to spend the evening here.
Radhika S — Google review
Petronas twin towers, more commonly known as the twin towers, is one of the most iconic landmarks in the whole of Malaysia. This architectural masterpiece is truly stunning, mesmerizing, breath taking. It's extremely beautiful, and is massively tall. It almost feels like the top of the tower fades away into the sky. The twin towers used to be the tallest building in Malaysia, but the less known Merdeka 108 is actually taller. Regardless, no one can deny the twin towers beauty. It is the first place we visited after arriving in Malaysia, and we truly had a whale of a time here. I've never seen anything like this in any of rhe other places I've visited in the past. The inside of the twin towers is paid. But the Suria KLCC mall in the first few floors, in the base of the towers are free. We find visit there, the prices are a bit astronomical for my taste. However, for the wealthy travellers, almost every luxury/high end brand we couldn't afford is here! One interesting I must note is the toilets in the ground floor are 2RM (rather expensive) to use. But if you go to the second floor, (or first perhaps), the toilets are free. So save yourself and your family 2RM and go to the second floor and use the toilet for free. It's not that nice though, most other malls had nicer toilets. Regardless, toilets aside, this is truly one of the best views I've ever seen.

The Petronas Twin Towers are not just the tallest twin towers in the world, they’re the glittering heart of modern KL. By day or night, they’re a jaw-dropping sight, especially when lit up against the city skyline. Start your visit inside Suria KLCC at the base of the towers—a huge and elegant shopping mall with everything from high-end luxury brands to local favourites. You’ll also find an excellent mix of restaurants, food courts, and cafes—perfect for everything from a quick bite to a fancy dinner. But don’t stop there—take a stroll through KLCC Park behind the towers. It’s beautifully landscaped with fountains, shaded paths, and a huge man-made lake. You’ll get amazing photos from different angles of the towers, especially during golden hour or when the towers light up at night. There’s even a free light and fountain show every evening! Fun fact: The towers were once the tallest buildings in the world (1998–2004) and still hold the record for tallest twin towers globally. They stand at 452 metres and are joined by the famous Skybridge on levels 41 and 42—which you can actually visit! If you’re in KL, this place is an absolute must—whether for shopping, dining, photography, or just soaking in the vibe of one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic landmarks.

The Petronas Twin Towers are truly magnificent, an architectural marvel that leaves you in awe the moment you lay eyes on them. It’s almost unbelievable that such a masterpiece was conceived and constructed nearly four decades ago. The design is both futuristic and timeless, perfectly blending modern engineering with Malaysian cultural elements. Whether you’re admiring them from the ground, walking the skybridge, or standing at the observation deck, the Petronas Towers offer a perspective that reminds you of human creativity and ambition at its finest. A must-visit landmark that truly defines Kuala Lumpur’s skyline.
Jayashree A — Google review
Amazing experience!🤩 I absolutely loved the night view — the KLCC Twin Towers look breathtaking when they light up after dark. The atmosphere is calm, the surroundings are vibrant, and the whole place feels magical. • Tickets not really recommended 🎫— you can enjoy most of the beauty from outside. • Easily accessible via KLCC Metro Station 🚇, just a short walk away. • Don’t miss the water fountain show 🌊— it usually happens between 8 PM to 9 PM, and it’s stunning to watch at night. A must-visit spot in Kuala Lumpur, especially at night!
Rahool — Google review
The Petronas Twin Towers are impressive from every angle, and during my visit they were lit in bright Diwali colours - an Indian celebration marking the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil. It made the night view especially striking. The skybridge and observation deck are worth the ticket cost, offering clear, expansive views of the city. The architecture carries real meaning too: the towers are based on an eight-pointed Islamic geometric pattern, reflecting Malaysia’s Muslim heritage, and their 1990s construction involved unusually deep foundations and high-strength concrete. Also worth mentioning the beautiful intergration and coexistence of cultures and ethnicities alongside each other that becomes clear as soon as you enter Malaysia. Chinese, Malaysian and Indian ethnicities can be observed having very minimal segregation and it’s amazing to see just how much they embrace one another’s culture and allow time and space for all to celebrate their religious traditions. I’m only dropping one star because of the people at the intersection out front who aggressively try to sell photo services. It slightly disrupts an otherwise excellent visit.

Batu Caves, located in Kuala Lumpur, is a must-see destination with its ancient limestone caves and Hindu temples. The 400-million-year-old mystical caves are nestled within a massive limestone cliff and have been an important religious site for Hindus. In 2018, the entire complex was renovated, including the iconic rainbow-colored staircase that has made it a popular spot for Instagram-worthy photos.
Currently the tall statue is under repairing Batu Caves is a very famous Hindu temple and tourist spot in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Simple explanation: ⛰️ It is a limestone hill with a huge cave temple inside. 🪔 The entrance has a big golden statue of Lord Murugan (one of the tallest in the world). 🪜 You must climb 272 colourful steps to reach the main cave. 🕉️ It’s an important religious place for Hindus and also a popular sightseeing location. People visit for prayers, photography, and the amazing cave view.
Sujatha I — Google review
A very beautiful and airy place on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur city. The base of these caves is a famous Hindu temple with a historical significance. There’re coffee shops and food joints for visitors to savour before and after visiting the place. There’re two temples on both sides of the compound and more than 100 colourful stairs to the cave entrance. The caves are very old but maintained nicely. There’re small temples in the caves as well. Ample parking space for the place and a very relaxing yet enjoyable scenery from the place. The brass golden statue of the lord is the biggest attraction point of this spot.
Sagar K — Google review
Unfortunately the Murugan statue is under restoration work and wrapped up in scaffolding, but still the vibe at this beautiful temple complex around and inside if the impressive Batu cave is worth the visit. Goosebump feeling when slowly ascending on the steep stairs, feeling like back in India. Fantastic. Breathtaking when entering the cave at first and stunned by this huge dimensions.
Marcel C — Google review
Visited Batu Caves during my trip to Malaysia, and it was an absolutely fascinating experience that beautifully blends nature, culture, and spirituality. The iconic golden statue of Lord Murugan standing tall at the entrance is truly awe-inspiring and sets the tone for the entire visit. The steep flight of colorful steps leading up to the main cave temple is both challenging and rewarding, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings as you climb. Each step feels like a journey through devotion and history. Inside the main cave, the vast limestone formations combined with the serenity of the temple create a sacred and peaceful atmosphere. The area is well-maintained with proper amenities, and even though there are monkeys around, the management ensures cleanliness and visitor safety. The nearby smaller caves and art galleries further add depth to the cultural experience, showcasing the roots of Hindu traditions in Malaysia. The staff and devotees are kind and respectful, always willing to guide visitors. It’s easily accessible by train or taxi from Kuala Lumpur, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the city. Batu Caves is not just a tourist attraction—it’s a spiritual landmark that leaves you with a sense of calm, admiration, and deep cultural appreciation.
Niskarsha S — Google review
Beautiful by day, but extremely hot especially when you have to walk up the several million steps. Gorgeous by night, especially when the crowds have died down after 8pm, the temples start wrapping up and shut at 9, but the area stays open to take pictures till 10pm. Word of warning though, Grab cars can only be booked to the Exit 3 (in the back?), but that exit closes then the temples do, so it's better to head out of the main exit before booking yourself a Grab out - the signage does a terrible job of communicating this.
Ivy S — Google review
Batu Caves is undoubtedly one of Malaysia’s most iconic cultural and religious landmarks, and our visit to this impressive site was both fascinating and insightful. Located just outside Kuala Lumpur, the attraction is easily accessible and offers a blend of spirituality, history, nature, and adventure. Although our experience was overall positive, there were a few aspects—particularly the maintenance work on the Lord Murugan statue—that slightly affected the visit. Upon arriving, the sheer size and beauty of the Batu Caves complex immediately stood out. The long flight of 272 colorful steps leading to the main Temple Cave is a defining feature and provides a vibrant welcome. The steps themselves are beautifully painted and make for an eye-catching view, especially when combined with the energetic presence of monkeys and the constant movement of visitors. Climbing them was a mix of fun and challenge, but definitely manageable with short breaks and hydration.
Namrata S — Google review
Entry is free. Before you enter itself, You see Lord Kartikeya standing tall and One has to climb 272 steps to reach the top where the Sanctum sanctorum of the God is there. The first level upstairs has set of small temples and we can get offerings to provide. Then there is one more level. Even though it can get hot downstairs, It feels cool once you enter upstairs inside the cave. Beautiful and amazing temple. Monkeys are a menace. Don't keep anything in hand while climbing up esp food. Must visit if you are in KL.
Priyadharshini V — Google review
Clean, spacious and colorful; with newly built souvenir shops and spacious parking lot inside...surprisingly the parking fee for car is very cheap, just rm3 per entry. And theres no entrance fee for individual. But u need to wear proper clothing, otherwise need to wear covered skirt for a fee.. Recommended to bring small fan, drinks, and hat. Its streinuous trek up the stair, but then theres cute monkeys to look at and u will be greeted with cool breeze and big cave when reaching the top. Definitely one of the recommended activity to do

It is part of the Perdana Botanical Gardens and offers various attractions such as the Orchid Garden, Deer Park, Butterfly Park, and Islamic Art Museum.
It was such a nice experience being here. For those with kids, I really recommend bringing them along, they’ll have lots of fun activities to do and get to see so many different bird species. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit tricky if you arrive after 10 am. The staff are super friendly and helpful 👍🏼 and there are two gift shops, one at the entrance and another inside the bird park 👍🏼

It's one of the world biggest aviary as per their claim. Having a good variety of species. Flamingos and peacocks are the major attractions. Nothing like a magnificent spot that you should not miss. If you are visiting KL with Kids you can consider spending 1 hour here. It is difficult to walk through the park during summer in KL due to extreme hot weather.
Ebin J — Google review
We visited the bird park on a weekend and encountered very moderate crowds. The park is spacious enough to accommodate a lot of visitors, so I’d come back on a weekend as well. Please note that you’re not allowed to bring food into the park. Anything larger than a small bag pack may trigger a conversation with the security guard at the entrance gate as well. After a brief discussion, we were asked to bring the water we just bought at the kiosk at the entrance into the park. Please note that these restrictions are in place to protect the wildlife in the park. In the past, too many morons have fed them things that made birds severely sick or even killed them. The park is very well walkable with a stroller, with a few steps that may force you to take a detour. Please note that there are inclines, though. So if you’re pushing a wheelchair better have a good breakfast… The bird show at 10:30 am and 15:00 pm is worth watching. Very entertaining, not too long, and with some nice tricks to be shown. There are other events scheduled every day, so please check their latest event time table to not miss out on interesting events.

My mum and I are visiting from Australia, and since she absolutely loves birds, I had to bring her to KL Bird Park and we’re so glad we came! We both loved it. It was quite a hot day during our visit, and there isn’t much shade around, so we took a few breaks to sit down and rest, but that didn’t take away from the experience. There are so many incredible birds to see here, you could easily spend around 3 hours exploring. You can watch my POV experience video below, see @bhav.xo for more Our favourite part was definitely the parrot area! We both dressed in bright, colourful outfits, which I highly recommend doing, it makes the experience even more fun when the parrots fly over to you. Feeding them was such a highlight; they sit on your arms, shoulders, and even your head! It’s completely safe, and their claws didn’t damage our clothes at all. The entire park is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were all so kind and welcoming. It also wasn’t as crowded as I expected, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I honestly wish more people would visit, it’s such a beautiful, peaceful, and interactive place to connect with nature. Overall, KL Bird Park is a must-visit in Kuala Lumpur, especially if you love animals or want a unique, wholesome experience to share with family.

Visiting Birb Park feels like stepping into a living orchestra of birds. As soon as i enter, i’re greeted by the sound of soft coos, bright tweets, and the occasional squawk from a bold parrot. The park’s paths wind through shaded trees and open ponds, where ducks glide lazily across the water and tiny finches dart between branches. People stroll quietly, some with cameras, others just sitting on benches watching the “birds” go about their day. There’s a sense of calm connection — a reminder that nature’s beauty is often small, fast-moving, and full of personality.
Gobi N — Google review
Had a 3 hours visiting the bird park. It is very spacious and has a big open area for most birds like pheasants, doves and pidgeons. There are little shops for refreshment within the park and clean toilets. It’s only 4 stars since some of the cages for certain birds are really small and in my opinion not really big enough or fit for the birds living in them. Also there was an eagle but it was bound to a pole and basically couldn’t move or fly at all which is quite sad.

The market features distinct sections representing Malay, Indian, and Chinese heritage where visitors can find local products like souvenirs and arts and crafts. Additionally, the upper floor houses a food court offering local delicacies. Outside the market, visitors can enjoy street performances and musical shows.

Central Market is a well-known cultural landmark in Kuala Lumpur, offering a glimpse into Malaysia's rich heritage. The building itself is charming, with its Art Deco architecture and air-conditioned interior, making it a comfortable stop during a city tour. Inside, you'll find a variety of shops selling local crafts, souvenirs, and traditional attire. It's a good place to pick up unique gifts or support local artisans. The atmosphere is relaxed compared to other busy markets, providing a more laid-back shopping experience. However, the market can feel a bit commercialized, with many stalls offering similar items. Some visitors might find the selection repetitive or geared more towards tourists. Additionally, the food court, while convenient, doesn't stand out in terms of variety or quality. In summary, Central Market is worth a visit if you're interested in Malaysian culture and crafts, but it might not offer the authentic market experience some travelers are seeking.

Ok this is a tourist trap but not bad value. Use the food court on the first floor but beware the restaurants will charge service fee 10%. Shopping is good and the food stalls outside sell a nice variety. DO NOT take a taxi from here it will be expensive, worst case use grab, the pickup area is marked.

A must visit place for all the tourists. I loved it. The newly touched look is awsome. Existing since 1888. Central Market (known locally as Pasar Seni) is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most successful architectural "glow-ups." It transformed from a gritty, functional wet market into an Art Deco cultural jewel. Today, it is considered a Heritage Site, loved not just for its history, but for being a "Insta-worthy" pastel landmark in a city of grey concrete.

Such a beautiful place to go to learn a little about Malaysia's pewter history and see all the beautiful trinkets they have for sale and on display. They have a wide variety of things made of pewter, as well as gold and silver jewelry. There's truly something for everyone here. I especially loved the music boxes. Alternatively, you can get an audio guide. I spent around 1 to 1.5 hs there. Particularly the craft demonstrations are very interesting. I was told that you can ask for for a craft session in one of the workshops but you need to book it in advance through the workshop. Thank you very much!

Worth every minute of my time. No entrance fee. Some staffs has been working here for more than 40 years. Provide free guide for tour. Guide will explain the historical facts about Selangor Pewter. Can learn how Selangor pewter items are made. One and only pewter factory in the world. Have a cafe inside the building.

Booked on Klook for School of Hard Knocks + Foundry with complimentary museum tour on a weekday. Museum tour was done on a constant basis and did not have to wait for long. Ting was an awesome tour guide who brought us around the museum, helped us to take photos with the famous 'twin tower' made from pewter containers, explained the unique 'long service award' wall of handprints and gave great insights on the handmade items during the factory tour. At the workshops, Hafiz gave very detailed instructions and ensured our safety during the knocking, pouring, molding, and freestyle creations. His experience also gave us assurance that we will not 'fail' and that everything we made is unique and something to be proud of! His guidance made the experience a truly unique and memorable one at Royal Selangor!!

Visited the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre over the weekend — admission is free. We booked the “School of Hard Knocks” workshop for around RM80 per person, and you get to bring home the pewter bowl you make. The kids really enjoyed the hands-on experience of shaping a piece of pewter into a bowl. The visit started with a free introduction to the history of Royal Selangor, and we learned that every piece is handmade. It was impressive to hear that some of their craftsmen have been with the company for over 40 years. After the workshop, we chilled at their café. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed both the tour and the class!

Guided Tour: 5 Stars The centre provided free guided tour. The receptionists at the entrance counter were young, energetic and friendly. The guide explained in a thorough and informative manner, and the tour though short was quite insightful. Welcome drink was also provided to the guests. Environment: 5 Stars Whole place was fully air-conditioned and clean, and easy to walk around. There was a cafe at the ground floor providing local and western cuisine at standard market prices. Parking: 5 Stars Plenty of free parking within the compound of the centre. Location: 2 Stars The centre was situated at quite an obscure place. For new comers it may be difficult to find. Price: 2 Stars The products seemed to be meant for tourists. Prices were hefty for the locals. Overall: 4 Stars

Royal Selangor Visitor Centre is a fascinating & educational place to go to when in KL. A short guided tour on the history, the factory and finally the shop. A bit far from Wangsa Maju LRT Station so we took a taxi to the Centre and after that had to call for Grab as the nearest bus stand is nearly 2km either way. *Google search mentioned to "Contact the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre beforehand to arrange their free shuttle service". This statement is NOT TRUE. Free shuttle only from certain hotels. But they do have a free shuttle to klcc.
EL K — Google review
Quite easily one of the best family activity or for visiting guests conveniently situated a mere 20mins from KL city center. Ample free parkings for cars, vans and tour buses. Do expect to spend 2-3 hrs for a comfortable leisurely visit. Entry is free and each group of visitors are assigned a docent throughout the nicely curated showcase on the history of Malaysian Pewter and the humble beginning of Royal Selangor Pewter. The live demonstrations helped us appreciate the meticulous hand crafted items even more than before. Kids and adults will enjoy the simple yet fun School of Hard Knocks with the opportunity to try crafting simple pewter bowl. This is chargeable but, at RM80 per person, it’s a steal bcoz you get to keep the bowl, Royal Selangor Pewter branded apron, and certificate. It’s cheaper if U buy from 3rd parties’ app but we choose to support local. There’s a huge retail arcade at the end and the cafe serves some nice wholesome meals and cakes. Special thanks to our docent YL for the hospitality!

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a massive, high-end shopping destination located in the heart of the trendy Bukit Bintang district. This sprawling 1.37 million square feet complex houses luxury and mainstream retailers as well as numerous global dining options. The mall, which opened in September 2007, is a prominent feature of the city center and includes a retail mall, an office block, and two residential towers. It's surrounded by upscale hotels and is known for its vibrant atmosphere.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur – A World-Class Shopping Experience Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is truly one of the most impressive malls in Malaysia — a perfect blend of luxury, lifestyle, and local culture. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by elegant interiors, spacious walkways, and an incredible variety of stores ranging from high-end international brands to trendy local boutiques. Everything is beautifully organized, making it a pleasure to explore. The mall’s dining options are just as amazing — whether you’re in the mood for fine dining, casual cafes, or authentic Malaysian street food, Pavilion has it all. The Connection precinct and Tokyo Street are particularly worth visiting, offering unique vibes and great photo spots. The decorations during festive seasons are always spectacular — from Christmas to Chinese New Year, every corner becomes Instagram-worthy. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable — right in the heart of Bukit Bintang with easy access to major hotels, public transport, and even a direct link to the MRT and Fahrenheit 88. The service and cleanliness throughout the mall are excellent, and the overall ambiance feels safe and welcoming. Pavilion KL isn’t just a shopping mall — it’s an experience. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, it’s a must-visit destination that perfectly captures the vibrant spirit of Kuala Lumpur.

Visited last friday, sthe place is huge and really lively! One of the most luxurious malls in KL, with lots of high end brands and popular international stores. The vibe is super nice, always crowded with people and tourists from everywhere. Definitely a must visit spot if you’re in Kuala Lumpur!

Honestly take a few days to explore pavilion and the surrounding malls/area. Heck Pavillion alone is a great place to explore and shop. Be sure to get your tourist card when you are there by showing your passport to the concierge. You get discounts and stuff from some stores through it. Also download the Pavilion app, its very handy for keeping track of the stores you want to visit and has a nice map feature to help you from getting lost.

Pavilion Mall in Kuala Lumpur is an absolute delight for shoppers and tourists! From high-end international brands to trendy local shops, it has everything under one roof. The mall is beautifully designed, very clean, and gives a luxurious feel. The food court and restaurants offer a wide variety of delicious options from all around the world. It’s centrally located in Bukit Bintang and perfect for spending a full day — shopping, dining, and even just relaxing. The festive decorations and events are always amazing too. Highly recommended for anyone visiting KL!

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a premier shopping destination located in the heart of Bukit Bintang. It features a mix of luxury brands, trendy boutiques, and a wide range of dining options. The mall’s elegant design and lively atmosphere make it a favorite spot for both locals and tourists. Perfect for shopping, dining, and experiencing the vibrant city lifestyle.
Mohammad H — Google review
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a polished, upscale mall packed with luxury brands and global eateries. If you’re into designer fashion and high-end dining, you’ll love it. If you prefer practicality, tech shops, or value-driven retail, it’s less compelling. A beautiful mall, but not for everyone. Full Review: Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is often marketed as a premier destination—an expansive, upscale mall stocked with luxury labels, global eateries, and sleek architecture that proudly broadcasts its ambition. And in many ways, it succeeds. The polished floors, gleaming storefronts, and constant flow of fashion-conscious shoppers make it clear that this is a temple of high-end retail. That said, for visitors like me—someone who couldn’t care less about Louis Vuitton, Prada, or the procession of designer boutiques—Pavilion’s appeal narrows considerably. This is a mall built for people who enjoy aspirational shopping, want to immerse themselves in a lifestyle of luxury (real or imagined), or simply feel at home in a place where the price tags are treated as part of the aesthetic. If that’s your lane, Pavilion is a playground. But if you’re a more practical shopper, someone who values tech brands or everyday essentials, the mall’s offerings feel thin. The only stores that truly piqued my interest were Samsung and Sony, and beyond those, there wasn’t much else that catered to my tastes. The emphasis is unmistakably on upscale fashion and elevated dining, with only a handful of exceptions breaking that mold. The eateries, while decent, tend to skew expensive, which fits the mall’s demographic but limits its broader accessibility. The atmosphere is undeniably impressive, but also undeniably not for me. Pavilion caters to a specific crowd—those who enjoy opulence, luxury branding, and the thrill of spending (or pretending to spend) big. In the end, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a well-designed mall with a clear identity. It’s just not one that aligns with my shopping habits, interests, or preferences. Final Score: 3/5. Objectively attractive and well-curated, but the emphasis on luxury limits its appeal for visitors seeking practicality or variety outside the world of designer fashion.

My wife and I are currently visiting KL and our hotel is just next to this huge and very popular mall in Bukit Bintang. We last visited this mall in 2017 and we are happy to see that it is still going strong with retail and food and beverage shops aplenty - from the expensive ones to the affordable ones, and from the global branded ones to the local branded ones to the independent ones. And we are impressed that it also houses 2 big food courts therein - Food Republic and Food Place. And there is even a Tokyo Street for many many things Japanese. This mall is certainly THE place to shop and dine at in KL.

The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, located in Kuala Lumpur, is a contemporary museum that celebrates the official religion of Malaysia. It is the largest museum of its kind in Southeast Asia and offers spacious galleries showcasing artifacts and examples of Muslim patterns in various forms such as print, jewelry, armor, coins, ceramics, and architecture.
Where culture and religion beautifully intertwine - the Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur is truly a gem! If you're into history, art, or just love soaking up new cultures, this place is a must-visit. The museum itself is a work of art - the domes inside are absolutely mesmerizing ✨. I found myself just standing there, eyes glued to the ceiling, taking it all in. Every exhibit tells a story, and reading about the rich history behind each piece was both fascinating and inspiring. Don’t skip the souvenir shop on your way out! From elegant silk items to unique postcards, beautiful stationery, and dazzling jewelry - there's something for every kind of collector or gift hunter. Definitely a highlight for anyone wanting to explore the artistic and spiritual heritage of the Islamic world, right in the heart of KL! 🇲🇾

The museum is welcoming to all, with a peaceful ambiance and air-conditioned comfort, perfect for a relaxing visit. The Moza Restaurant serves delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, and the gift shop is a treasure trove of unique crafts. Admission is reasonable at RM20, and the location near the National Mosque and Perdana Botanical Gardens makes it a must-visit. I spent about 1.5 hours here and left inspired by the artistry and history. Highly recommend for anyone interested in culture, history, or simply a beautiful museum experience. The displays are well-organized across 12 galleries, making it easy to explore the rich heritage of the Islamic world, with highlights from Malaysia, China, India, and beyond.

As a Muslim, it would be an excellent starting point for a holiday. The museum is typically quiet in the morning, and all facilities are well-maintained and clean. The history and the way the stories are presented truly immerse you in the past. Highlight were to see the old Kiswah from 1969 and old qurans from all over the world.

A very big and beautiful place. There’s a lift available. Adult ticket: RM20 | Child: Free (not sure from what age they start counting as adult). There are a few parking spots near the building, but more are available across the road. I felt amazed by the history of how Islam spread across the world — how art, culture, and technology blended with Islam and created so many beautiful forms of architecture, tools, and artifacts. It shows that Islam is not just a religion, but a way of life that expresses beauty in many aspects of society. Proud to be a Muslim. How wonderful it would be to see the Islamic civilization rise again. Truly a beautiful and inspiring place.

A very impressive and underrated museum set in one of central KL’s few green hilltop spaces. This modern museum houses an array of objects from all over the Islamic world, including extensive collections of Mughal miniatures, textiles, jewellery, and decorative arts. At present there’s an excellent exhibit on Tipu Sultan, who successfully defied British rule in India in the 18th century.

This museum is a true hidden gem in Kuala Lumpur. Located just a short walk from the National Mosque, the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia offers a calm and elegant space to explore Islamic culture, history, and art from around the world. The architecture is beautiful and filled with natural light, and the exhibits are incredibly well-curated. From intricately decorated Qur’ans and ancient manuscripts to stunning weapons, jewelry, and architectural models, every piece tells a story. The dome ceiling is a masterpiece in itself, and the entire museum feels peaceful and inspiring. Staff are helpful, and photography is allowed in most areas. Whether you’re interested in history, design, or spirituality, this museum is a must-visit. One of the best cultural experiences in KL.

Merdeka Square, the main square in Kuala Lumpur, holds historical significance as the site where Malaya declared independence from colonial rule in 1957. The square features a 95m flagpole marking the spot of the first Malayan flag-raising and is now home to the national day parade held annually at the end of August. The area includes the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and a large field, offering a picturesque setting for visitors to stroll and take photos.
PARKING TIPS: I visited Merdeka Square during the Merdeka Night Festival and it was an unforgettable experience. Parking is normally affordable in the one level basement directly under the square and you can climb the stairs up easily. During the festival, only vendors were allowed to park there, so I left my car at Rumah Tangsi next to Bank Rakyat. It was very convenient and only a short walking distance to the square on event days. The square is well maintained with a large open field that many Malaysian families use for picnics, games with children and enjoying the outdoors. It is also a popular spot for tourists, so expect it to be more packed on weekend evenings. The food during the event was excellent, served from food trucks with many different choices. Portions were satisfying and the variety made it enjoyable for everyone. On most weekends there are events or activities happening here, so there is often something special to try. The atmosphere at night is lively, with bright lights, music and people creating a festive mood. Entry is free and that makes it even better. Crowds and traffic are heavier on weekends, but it adds to the city experience. Merdeka Square is open all day and night. PARKING INFO ADDED The best time to visit is in the evening when the surrounding heritage buildings, especially the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, are beautifully lit up. Tip for visitors: bring a picnic mat so you can sit comfortably on the grass and enjoy the view.
Ferdi H — Google review
Best time to visit: early morning or evening. Don't go here when the sun is up because you will get sunburned. Filipinos say, it is hot in the Philippines but in Malaysia, it is burning/scorching hot, like the sun rays are pricking through your skin, it hurts. What you can see here: There's a fountain at one end where the Merdaka signange is. On the other end is their flag. Right in the middle is a big open space with grass, yes just grass. When you are at the end where the flag is, you get to see the Petronas Towers and KL tower in one frame. However, the view is not great at the time we were there (26 Sept 2025) because there's construction/repairs being done to the building with clock (I think, not sure though, it was the train station). There's an Anglican church at one side. We were not able roam around because it is really hot, the umbrella didn't help. How to get there: Grab. Rates can be low or twice even thrice as high when there's surge. Is this a must visit: if you only have the time to visit ONE place in Malaysia, go visit the Petronas Towers at night, go to the side of Suria KLCC/Mandarin Hotel, where the fountains are, they have fountain light/music show at night.

It's an open area with a central field surrounded by many old architectural buildings. Malaysian flag posts are placed all around. There are paid parking facilities and public restrooms available. The spot offers plenty of photo opportunities, with benches and lawns where you can sit and relax. It's also surrounded by many skyscrapers, creating a striking contrast. A great place to visit in the morning or evening. There’s no entry fee, and it’s open at all times.

Merdeka Square is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic and historically important landmarks. This is the exact spot where Malaysia declared its independence in 1957, and you can still feel the weight of history when standing on its vast open field. The square is surrounded by beautiful colonial-era buildings, the most famous being the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Currently, it’s worth noting that the Sultan Abdul Samad Building is undergoing renovation, so parts of its facade are covered and may not look as photogenic as usual. Still, its impressive architecture is visible, and the area remains a key highlight of the square. The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon. Mornings are perfect for avoiding crowds and capturing clean, wide shots. In the evening, the surrounding buildings light up beautifully, and the square feels more lively. Keep in mind there’s little shade, so bring sunscreen or a hat, as the midday heat can be intense. Nearby attractions include the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery (great for a quick history lesson and photo ops), the River of Life (just a short walk away and especially beautiful at night), and Masjid Jamek, one of the city’s oldest mosques. Tips for visitors: • Visit early in the morning for the best photo opportunities without people. • Bring water and sun protection — shade is limited. • Check out the River of Life and City Gallery while you’re here. • If you’re interested in history, reading about Malaysian independence before visiting makes the experience richer.

Dataran Merdeka Square is a wonderful place to visit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It’s a spacious open area with a large central field surrounded by many beautiful and historic architectural buildings that reflect the city’s colonial past. It is also regarded as one of Kuala Lumpur’s most significant historical landmarks, where Malaysia’s independence was first declared. The area feels vibrant yet peaceful, making it a perfect spot to stroll around, take photos, and admire the surrounding architecture. I visited with my family, and we truly enjoyed our time exploring this iconic square and learning about its rich history. It’s definitely a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to Kuala Lumpur!

Here’s a polished English translation of your passage, keeping both the poetic tone and cultural depth intact: At the very heart of the Malay Peninsula, where the Klang and Gombak rivers converge, stands a city once bestowed with the name “Kuala Lumpur,” meaning muddy river mouth in Malay. Today, it flourishes in dazzling brilliance as one of Southeast Asia’s most exhilarating cosmopolitan capitals. Lifting your gaze, the Petronas Twin Towers pierce the tropical skies with their commanding height and striking Islamic geometric design—an unmistakable icon and the shining face of Kuala Lumpur. At their feet lies the bustling Golden Triangle, where international brands and the latest trends converge, a stage for the city’s modernity and vibrant energy. Yet Kuala Lumpur’s allure extends far beyond its towering skyline. Step into the winding streets of the old quarter, and the whispers of history replace the roar of skyscrapers. At Merdeka Square, a lush green lawn still echoes with the exhilaration of that pivotal moment in 1957, when the Union Jack was lowered and Malaysia’s flag rose proudly for the first time. The Moorish-style Sultan Abdul Samad Building and the stately Masjid Jamek mosque stand as elegant reminders of the colonial era, gazing across the river at modern structures and creating a captivating dialogue between past and present. What makes Kuala Lumpur most enchanting is its vibrant multicultural soul. Malays, Chinese, and Indians—alongside dozens of other ethnic groups—blend like vivid strokes of color on a vast canvas, coexisting and thriving together in this city of endless diversity.

A very spacious garden, neatly maintained and perfect for a refreshing escape in the middle of the city. Many people come here to jog or exercise, with long tracks available for walking or running. This park is a fantastic place to get active and recharge. This was my second visit, and I learned my lesson: ditch the office clothes and wear something light, comfortable, and ready for a good sweat! The park is huge, so even with hundreds of people jogging and walking, it never feels crowded. I highly recommend going early in the morning. The weather is much friendlier before the sun gets too high, making your workout more enjoyable. There are tons of paths to explore, from wide-open walkways to more secluded trails where you can find a bit of solitude. I was also surprised to discover a concert hall within the park, which adds to its unique charm. The park is beautiful and incredibly well-maintained. The people are also very disciplined, which makes for a peaceful and respectful atmosphere. Whether you're looking for an intense workout or a quiet place to unwind and clear your head after a long week, this park is a perfect spot to reconnect with nature and recharge.

Whether you're a nature lover, photographer, or just looking for a quiet retreat, this garden is a must-visit. Highly recommended for a refreshing break from the city buzz! 🌺🌞💧

Located behind the National Museum (and MRT station) this truly beautiful park with big lake will make you feel you've escaped from the concrete jungle. Gorgeously landscaped, housing tree species from around the world, a child's dream of a playground, numerous thoughtfully designed shelters, and even it's own version of Niagara Falls, it's hard not to give this green oasis ten out of ten. The only downside I found with it, not a big deal imo, was that there weren't any cafes or restaurants. It would have been the icing on the cake had I been able to chill with an ice latte with a view of the lake.

The botanical gardens are such a beautiful break from the city. It’s calm, green, and surprisingly peaceful for somewhere right in the middle of Kuala Lumpur. You can easily spend a few hours just walking around, sitting under the trees, or watching the fish in the ponds - it’s that kind of place that slows you down in the best way. There’s so much to see: from tropical plants to spice gardens, little art details, and open green spaces perfect for a picnic or a quiet read. It’s clean, well kept, and free to enter, which makes it even better. If you’re visiting KL and want a breather from the malls and traffic, this is the spot. Bring some water, comfortable shoes, and maybe snacks, you’ll end up staying longer than you planned

Our visit to the Perdana Botanical Garden in Kuala Lumpur was truly memorable. We were absolutely marveled by the breathtaking variety of trees and flowers — from towering tropical palms to vibrant blossoms in every shade imaginable. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to slow down and soak in the beauty of nature. After exploring the gardens, the children had a fantastic time at the Fantasy Playground. It was a joyful, colorful space where they could run, climb, and let their imaginations roam freely. This combination of serene nature and lively play made it a perfect family outing. We left with our hearts full, our cameras packed with photos, and the feeling that this is a must-visit spot for anyone coming to Kuala Lumpur.

We had such a wonderful experience at Perdana Botanical Garden! It’s one of those rare places in Kuala Lumpur where you can really slow down and enjoy nature in the middle of a bustling city. The garden is beautifully maintained, with wide paths, clean facilities, and lots of open green spaces for kids to run freely. As a family with young children, we truly appreciated the calm atmosphere. There were plenty of shaded areas, beautiful landscapes, and even mini waterfalls and bridges that the kids found exciting. My children especially loved watching the ducks and turtles by the lake and exploring the various themed gardens — the Sunken Garden, Orchid Garden, and the Bamboo House were highlights! It’s also very stroller- and picnic-friendly. We brought some light snacks, found a quiet spot under the trees, and had a simple yet memorable picnic. The air felt fresh, the crowd wasn’t too heavy, and we felt safe letting the kids play and explore. For anyone visiting KL, or even locals looking for a break from the malls and traffic, this place is a perfect weekend escape. Whether you’re jogging, cycling, taking family photos, or just enjoying nature — Perdana Botanical Garden is definitely worth the visit.

Me and my dad visits Muzium Negara on early October when they held an event of Temasya Riuh Sekampung. Buying ticket process and entering the main entrance was smooth. The interior design of the building are quite fascinating. There are 2 floor level. Each floor consist two gallery. The artifcats shown about the early age of human until what Malaysia had today. Some parts are interactive which makes it quite interesting. For example, there are certain artifacts shown provided with QR code and when you scan them it will lead you to an AR (Augmented Reality) version. Before going back home, we take a look at some booth participating in the event. It became more lively after 2PM and above. There are demos, performances and also craft/food selling. Just a few minus points of this visits, in my opinion, the air-conditioner is not cool enough because I sweat a lot while touring the whole building. I think it would be nice if there is toilet in the same building, not separated.

I went to Muzium Negara with my kid last Saturday. There was some kind of carnival going on around the area — not sure what it was about, and honestly, I didn’t bother much. The entrance fee was RM2 for adults, while kids below 12 get in for free. It’s been more than 20 years since I last visited this place, so I was quite curious to see what has changed — and thought it’d be a good little tour for my kid too. Overall, the experience was slightly below what I expected for a “Muzium Negara” level. It’s still informative and interesting, but maybe I shouldn’t compare it too much with other museums, especially Muzium Selangor, which feels more organized and engaging. That said, it was still a nice bonding time with my kid. Hopefully, Muzium Negara can improve a few aspects — especially how the information and artifacts are arranged. With better curation, it could really shine as our national museum.

The Pameran Fabrik ASEAN exhibition is worth a visit, especially since admission is free. The exhibition explores the cultural tapestry of the region under the theme of “different but similar,” a highly apt description for the member countries of ASEAN. A highlight is the engaging interactive photo booth. Visitors can select a specific country and background to generate a digital portrait featuring them in a traditional costume, offering a fun, digital preview of how the beautiful fabrics/attires look when worn. These generated images are also available for download. The exhibition is located in Gallery 2 (iinm), which can be found to the left of the main museum exit.

In a short walking distance from the KL central station. 4 sections of department tells a history of war, people and culture in Malaysia. It was a good place to stop by, tour around and learn a history. Quiet, short trip and ticket purchasing required.

Very positive experience. The Audioguide just gave us an overview of the most important parts without spending too much time on details. I definitely learned a lot during the visit. Please be aware, that the museum closes early in the afternoon. It is easy to reach via metro. The gift shop has some nice items. The recommended audio app did not really work, but the web version did a good job.

There are a total of 4 exhibition galleries split into 2 levels. Gallery A was great, showcasing the prehistoric era, however, same cannot be said for the subsequent galleries. Even though the exhibits were interesting, the lack of air-conditioning was ruining it. It was not condusive to enjoy the displays and ended up rushing to finish viewing. The rest room / toilet is not convenient as you have to exit the museum to access it. During my visit on a Saturday, there are many school tour groups within the museum too. It got rowdy and made it totally not condusive.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Negara Museum. The place is beautiful and calm, and the traditional architecture adds a special charm. The staff at the reception were super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. Inside, there are many interesting things to see about Malaysia’s history and culture. I loved how everything was well-organized and informative. It’s definitely a great place to learn something new and spend some peaceful time!

Night market
Jalan Alor Food Street in Kuala Lumpur is a must-visit destination, especially after 5:00pm when it comes alive with an array of hawker stalls offering delicious Malay and Chinese cuisine. The street becomes packed with locals and tourists alike, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Whether you're looking for food-on-the-go or prefer to sit at plastic tables enjoying heaping platters, there's something for everyone.
Absolutely love this road! Visited in 2017, and 2018, and in 2025 same as it was before! The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by incredible smells from every direction. What a foodie heaven! The street is lively yet well organised, with plenty of tables set up, great lighting that makes it feel magical at night, and even rain protection so you can enjoy it no matter the weather. A must-visit spot for anyone who wants to experience the true taste and atmosphere of Kuala Lumpur!

Jalan Alor in Kuala Lumpur is a must-visit for food lovers thanks to its incredible variety of street food selections. The area becomes vibrant in the evening, filled with countless stalls and open-air dining spaces offering everything from grilled chicken wings, satay, seafood, noodles, Thai and Chinese dishes to sweet treats like mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream. No matter your preference, you’ll find something tasty to try, and sampling a bit of everything is part of the fun. It’s crowded and lively, making for an unforgettable, authentic local experience—just be sure to come hungry!

Jalan Alor is a must-visit for its vibrant and bustling energy! The street offers a huge variety of food stalls with incredibly diverse and rich cuisine—you'll definitely need more than one night to try everything. However, be prepared: I found that many Malaysian dishes here tend to be quite oily and use less fresh green vegetables compared to Vietnamese food. Also, a quick heads-up: the prices at this night market are quite high! Overall, it's a great experience for atmosphere, but prepare your wallet and perhaps bring some wet wipes! 😉

Jalan Alor is the place to be in Kuala Lumpur to truly experience the city’s crowd, chaos, and energy and, of course, to satisfy your taste buds. The stretch leading from Bukit Bintang, with its mix of street stalls, local vendors, and branded stores, makes the entire area even more interesting to explore. Being a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised ONE , I actually got to try some delicious food here, unlike in many other countries. TWO, though the place was packed with people and eateries, there wasn’t a single piece of trash lying around. Each stall seemed to manage its own waste responsibly, proving that even in a bustling food street, cleanliness is possible. THREE, despite being street food, the quality and presentation were of remarkably high standard. And FOUR, what amazed me most was the absence of any unpleasant smell — even with so much seafood and meat being cooked all around, the air remained surprisingly fresh. The colorful variety of fruits and desserts here can easily keep anyone happy. Jalan Alor truly offers a sensory feast — vibrant, organized, and full of flavor.

The real happiness and also joy of life is here.I visit this place in different time and days to unlock the movement and pick hours. Morning time it’s look like a cold forest or cemetery. But when afternoon come, the whole place got a touch of life. and evening! it cannot be describe in words. Food stall and Juice are there. Raw food and fruits, Sea food items. some huge Crabs and also Octopus and squids there for process. you can order there and sit, they are very fast at work. But main things is Durian! the famous fruit is there in almost every shop and it’s high price. If you wanna buy Durian then buy from little outside. don’t buy from centre of the market, they'll ask 65-70 MYR but outside You'll get cheaper price. Fruit mix cut 5 MYR, Coconut water(whole) 6 outside/starting point can be 8-10MYR in Middle of the market, people from different countries and destinations come here and enjoy night life. full of joy and happiness. A must visit placw in KL

A must-visit place in Malaysia — a heaven for food lovers! Jalan Alor is full of life, lights, and delicious street food aromas. You can find everything here — from grilled satay to seafood and local desserts. The satay and shells are a must-try, full of authentic Malaysian flavor! Just a small tip — try not to sit at the tables placed near the street edge. Since it’s a very busy tourist spot, sometimes beggars ask for food or money and people passing by might peek at your plate, which can be a little distracting. Other than that, it’s an amazing experience to explore local Malaysian flavors and atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting at least once! 🍢🇲🇾

22 Nov 2025 If you expect yourself to go to a night market (Pasar Malam), this would be a complete twist. It’s basically a normal alley with restaurant / zi-char stores on both slides and some push-carts stores. Not exactly Malaysian food. Many restaurants have been replaced by China food, Thai food, Vietnamese food etc. Satays, chicken wings, black hokkein mee are just normal food you can get from anywhere in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Not necessarily to be here at tourist price, small portion and awful taste. Since it was a well-known tourist spot and everyone thought they should be here. The street was very crowded but moved quickly. It’s interesting to notice many non-Asians would eat at the expensive stores at the front and the asians would eat at the last store. We weren’t hungry and opted for simple food instead of seafood. RM86.50 for 2 pax. The portions were very small from usual. Quite salty. The fruit juice opposite attracted me and we bought 2 fruit juices from the friendly lady. I had the colour fruit blend with purple dragon fruit, mango and avocado for RM10 and we ordered another avocado for RM10. Probably the cheapest in that alley. We saw some were selling RM15.

Very crowded street food area and one of the most famous in KL and even in Asia. There’s a wide variety of food options, mostly Asian such as Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Malaysian local dishes. Some shops are reasonably priced while others can be a bit higher. It’s a good place to visit and experience like a local, and the sellers are very friendly. Nice place to come! 07/11/2025

Sweetree Restaurant is a halal-certified establishment in Kuala Lumpur, offering an array of authentic Korean dishes at affordable prices. The dining area is divided into ala carte and Korean BBQ sections, catering to different preferences. Popular menu items include Dolsot Bibimbap, Cheese Chicken, and Cha Dol Bak Ee. Situated in Ampang, the restaurant provides a cozy ambiance suitable for casual outings or special occasions.
Authentic Korean Cuisine. This place has that cosy vibe. There are two levels. You need to climb stairs to get to the higher level. The food was amazing and scrumptious. No complaints at all. Even the owner himself is attentive and friendly. He goes from a table to another table, asking the customers nicely with a huge smile whether they are satisfied with their food or not. Such a great customer service provided by the owner. It makes the customers feel welcome and appreciated.

Highly recommended! oh, they also provide free side dish too!! ❤️

Cheese topokki paling sedap pernah rasa. If i go here again, i will surely order this again. Fried mandu are also nice. Dolsot bibimbap pun sedap. They give a bottle of the gochujang sauce yg kena gaul dgn nasi so you can put as much as you want. Fried chicken pun sedap. Tak ingat apa nama dia. I like the spiciness and flavor. Kim mari is also good but not my fav. Tteok kko chi is also not realy my fav. But i think other flavors maybe sedap. This cheese sprinkles are not as good as i expected tho. Hotteok dia sedap gilaaaa! Really love it. Will repeat this one too. They also give free salad and banchan. For ala carte menu, you can only refill twice. And as for bbq, you can refill once. They also have good ambience and environment. The prices are slightly higher but i don't regret spending my money here since the food is good.

The orders came up to about MYR85 no drinks. It prides itself as premium dining, and portions are big if you are a small eater. Side dishes are not free flow, which is a letdown, but I think this also avoids food wastage. Fried kimmari was large, and not really 바삭바삭 crispy, and seafood pancake is eggy with chopped up pieces of squid and prawns. Dipping sauces for both were watered down 고추장 and 간장 respectively which was just 그냥. The star dish was rabokki coz the rice cake and noodles were쫄깃졸깃 but only half an egg. Come promptly when they open to get designated parking just outside the shop. Otherwise, parking is extremely limited. Might come again to try the recommended items instead. Staff keyed in the wrong bill and did not let me check prebilling before paying. I only noticed after and paid the difference coz friendly 사장님 kept me busy in conversation.

I went here 3 years ago, the food and service were both good before. Now everything was mediocre. The quality and portion for the food weren’t worth your money spent (280+ yet the beef slices were THAT little) The staffs did their chores as if the customers did sth wrong, from the very beginning until the end. No smile at all, VERY RUDE AND EVEN LIED. So we had bbq set 1, and ordered some ala carte dishes along with bingsu. When we were almost done with our food, we asked for bingsu to be served. 10 minutes later, a female and male staffs came to our table, WITHOUT SAYING ANY WORDS, they cleaned our table, taking alll our plates, jjajangmyeon which had yet been finished, along with other dishes. Mind that I was picking on cheesy corns with my chopsticks (currently eating). We’re stunned, even my younger brother beside me had to finish his food quickly to hand them his plates. The foods were served around 8.15pm, and it was only 9.07, why the push? Your regulation is a 2-hour dining limit. I asked for their manager wanting to complain about the rude behaviour, but the very female staff (a specky) who cleaned our table before, came and asked “is everything okay?” And there, I questioned her “did you ask for our permission to clean our table? Did we say yes?” She lied through her teeth, saying “oh I did ask”. No one on the table heard her, and I sit right beside where she stood, impossible for me not to hear her (I wore a satin silk scarf without inner scarf, hence I could hear crystal clear). She went defensive and said “I’m sorry, maybe because my voice is slow”. No, do not lie. Does she even listen to herself? She spoke to me just fine, her voice was in a normal volume. And she dared to point at my brother-in-law, saying that he said yes. He was UTTERLY SHOCKED when all he ever said to staff was “can we have our bingsu now?” That’s all. The least she can do is ASK FIRST BEFORE CLEANING CUSTOMER’S TABLE. Imagine you were eating, and people bluntly took your plates right when you were still holding your chopsticks. That’s rude. Verily. She even went blaming her colleague, saying that it was her colleague who told her to clean our table. EVEN IF there was miscommunication on your side, you still need to ask for permission right? For instance, “boleh kami ambil pinggan ke?” “Cik/puan ada minta bersihkan meja ke?” “Kami bersihkan meja dulu ye” I know f&b is tiring, but do not project your tiredness on customers who were eating just fine, we didn’t even make hassles there. Not just the staff, even the owner is problematic. I went here wearing simple clothes since it’s just a dinner with family, not some family gathering. I wore a black jubah and purple satin silk scarf. I was holding my niece when I saw the owner greeted EVERY SINGLE TABLE, even shot ‘saranghae’ gesture, and said chagiya to male customers. YET HE SKIPPED our table. I was standing, he saw me, not once but twice. Maybe he mistook me as a maid/nanny, but think again. Even if I was a maid/nanny, am I not your customer? Don’t you think you’re being racist? I thought I was the only one who thought too much, but my brother-in-law even saw that. Saya pun bukanlah hamak sangat nak SARANGHAE tu, but it was too obvious. I will never come here again after being ridiculed by their owner and staffs. Do I have to wear expensive clothes and handbag, just then you would treat me better? If we don’t have money, would we walk into your restaurant?

The food was great, as usual. Sweetree has been our family’s gathering restaurant since it was a small outlet in 2017 and I am happy to watch it grow after almost 10 years. The owner is always friendly and kind, and also came to say Hi as usual. However, I was disappointed today that I was told by the second floor female staff that we were unable to change our seatings to an empty table “because it will confuse the system”. I came here with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday today but we had to sit at the ivy table next to the stairs. I never had this issue in any other restaurants so I am quite disappointed that Sweetree does not allow its customers to move their orders to another empty table. Hope to see some improvements in the future. Image is the usual interaction we had with the friendly owner, back in 2018, really recommended to visit.

TREC Kuala Lumpur, also known as TREC KL, is a sprawling entertainment and dining destination that boasts over 50 venues. It's the largest of its kind in Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur. The complex offers an array of restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs, and more to cater to diverse culinary preferences and entertainment desires. Visitors can enjoy a seamless experience by starting with drinks at the bar before moving on to restaurants for delectable meals or grills.
This mall is absolutely stunning, luxurious, and incredibly well-designed. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with an elegant and vibrant atmosphere that exudes sophistication. While the mall spans only three floors, with the ground floor entirely dedicated to dining options, it still offers a highly enjoyable experience for visitors. One of the mall’s standout features is the impressive variety of restaurants and dining options available. Whether you’re in the mood for international cuisine, quick bites, or fine dining, the choices are abundant and cater to all tastes. The food court and standalone restaurants are beautifully arranged, making it easy to find something delicious to suit your cravings. What truly impressed me, however, was the unique design of each store and brand within the mall. Every shop has its own distinct style and layout, creatively reflecting the essence and identity of the brand. This attention to detail adds an artistic touch to the shopping experience, making each visit to a store feel like stepping into a carefully curated world. In my opinion, this mall is among the best in the world. It combines luxury, variety, and an unmatched shopping ambiance. If you’re looking for a place that offers more than just shopping—an experience that is both relaxing and inspiring—this mall should definitely be on your list.

Not much to say since most reviews have already said the same thing. Was here just to walk thru the millennials clubbing scene. 🤷🏻‍♂️🥸 From a gen x point of view🫩😂, this place is a huge evolution compared to all other yesteryears club neighborhood s like Bangsar Telawi 3 or even Jalan P Ramlee. ( Just as an observer who passed the road on regular basis from work😬). The place is built as an enclave of night clubs. There are more than 8 clubs 🫣 located side by side with each club having amazing huge entrance displays of light shows enticing patrons to come in. Here, the night clubs entrance are no longer static wooden/ glass entrance like the old school Hard Rock cafe but a more dynamic hi tech display of light n sound. ( I was passing by on the way to an arab restaurant there so just decided to walk thru the walk path of KL night entertainment).😂 I was there on a weeknight so the crowd wasnt overwhelming as the weekends ( standard preference for old people 😂). U wana know how each club is ,that i cant help la😂🤷🏻‍♂️. This review is just to notice the KL club scene. As KL-ites , at least we ought to know the existence of this "God forsaken" area...😂 Ok ok...just some light anecdote . No offense gais ...altho technically true 😂..ok ok ..enuf of this😂. 👋👋

Pretty subpar; the music was okay with a few decent songs, but the vibe was not it. It doesn't help that there's no dance floor, so you are just dancing at a table. Wouldn't come here again. 100RM for two people which includes two drinks. Service was good I guess.

This place is a must visit on a weekend as it’s open till late with plenty of options like coffee, food and clubs. The whole area is nice and buzzing. May not be a good place to visit during the rain but highlight of the place is the French coffee shop (serving delicious croissant etc.) and iron fairies for some amazing food and music (the band stage is super cool).

Once the dancefloor deity of KL nightlife, now just a haunted disco ball with abandonment issues At its peak, Zouk Club KL roared like a nightclub leviathan, five thousand sweaty bodies pulsing to international DJs, overpriced vodka sodas, and more strobe lights than a Marvel movie seizure warning. You didn’t go to Zouk, you survived it Fast forward to now, and TREC feels like an awkward high school reunion for clubs that peaked too early. Zouk closed in 2024, taking the soul of the precinct with it. The rest of the tenants fled like rats from a rave ship, leaving behind the occasional sad shisha bar, unlicensed massage promo, and one guy in sunglasses at 2 AM still trying to order bottle service for himself Footfall down 70 percent Tenant mortality rate over 50 percent Energy level, somewhere between abandoned carpark and forgotten wedding venue To be fair, it still boasts a prime location near TRX and you do get a pretty nice skyline view, especially when you’re trying to remember why you came in the first place Sure, you can still visit, if you enjoy the soft whisper of tumbleweeds and reminiscing about the time you blacked out here in 2017. Spark Club tries to spark something post Zouk, but let’s be honest, it’s like rebooting a dead relationship with cheaper lighting Good for, ghosts of parties past, urban exploration, and accidental existential dread. Not for, actual fun

I visited your bar yesterday and had a very unpleasant experience. One of your staff members accidentally burned my neck with his cigarette. This caused me both pain and distress, especially considering that my total bill was close to RM800 that night. I’m extremely disappointed that such an incident occurred, and I hope your management will take this matter seriously. You may also check the CCTV footage — we left the bar shortly after the incident happened. I would appreciate it if you could investigate the matter and inform me of the actions being taken to ensure this does not happen again to any customer. Royal Hadramawt Restaurant stands out as a premier destination for Yemeni and Middle Eastern cuisine in Kuala Lumpur. Nestled within the Flamingo Hotel, this eatery offers an enticing array of dishes that include everything from Nasi Arab to succulent kebabs and fresh seafood, complemented by refreshing Arab-style beverages. Diners can indulge in hearty main courses like Lamb Maqluba with Rice, Chicken Madghout with Rice, and flavorful BBQ platters featuring tender meats served over fluffy basmati rice.
Highly recommended: grilled fish, mixed appetizer, mulawwah (included with fish and mixed appetizer) We ordered two dishes and both of it were delicious. For reference, the size of our mixed appetizer was regular. Service was also good and prompt. The sophisticated hotspot features high ceilings, designer furniture, and a central swimming pool. Guests can unwind in cozy cabana booths while enjoying creative cocktails and smooth beats from resident DJs. I was finding a bar that allows a good night view of the twin towers as a tourist! Was looking on the map and found this place. Absolutely stunning view, great live band, food was great and def worth it even with the min spending to sit at the pool side.

The Sky Bar on the 33rd floor of Traders Hotel was absolutely amazing! A bar with a superb view of the Petronas Twin Towers at night. We were lucky enough to catch the Deepavali-themed colors of the Twin Towers, which were stunning! Although there was a minimum spend of RM100 per person (Shangri-La members get a 10% discount), we had dinner at the our hotel’s lounge before coming, so we were pretty full, but the salmon quinoa salad we ordered was incredibly delicious, and the desserts were also very tasty. The only downside was the cocktails, which were just average. Considering the view and the food, I think it was well worth it.

Had an amazing evening at SkyBar, Traders Hotel. The KLCC view is honestly one of the best views I’ve ever seen, perfect for a dinner date or a chill night out. I ordered the Meera Avila, Salted Egg Chicken Boxing, and Tempura Shrimps. The drink was refreshing and both dishes were delicious. The salted egg chicken was crispy and flavourful, while the tempura shrimps were light and perfectly fried. The live band added such a nice touch to the whole experience. Lovely ambience, great food, and an incredible view, definitely a place worth visiting in KL.

Brought here on a work function and wow. You don't get anything like this in Australia. Amazing views of the Petronas towers. The atmosphere at night was electric. Excellent live band. No idea how much this place costs but id say a lot... very upmarket and would be worth every rupee.

Such a nice dining experience! ❤️ The restaurant at Traders Hotel offers a perfect view of the KLCC towers — it looks stunning especially at night. The food was tasty, service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Great spot for couples or gatherings. I’ll definitely come back again!

I found a great dinner spot with an amazing KLCC view at Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur! 🌃 The food was delicious and the price was quite affordable considering the view. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic — perfect for birthday celebrations or dinner dates. Definitely worth checking out if you want a nice meal with a beautiful city view. Highly recommended! 👍

Visited SkyBar for dinner and absolutely loved the atmosphere. The KLCC view is unreal, probably the coolest one I’ve had while dining in KL. I had the Smash SkyBar Wagyu Beef Burger and the Litchi Zero. The burger was juicy and flavourful, and the portion was quite generous. The drink was refreshing and paired nicely with the meal. The live band performance really elevated the whole night. Great vibes, friendly service, and an unbeatable view.

I came on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty. Service was really good. Cocktails were strong. Food was also good (potato skins, pizza and tempura shrimp). Stayed for a few hours before we were asked to leave as they were having a private party.

KL Hop-On Hop-Off is a convenient way to explore Kuala Lumpur's popular attractions at your own pace. With 27 stops and over 60 attractions, you can hop on and off at any stop while listening to English audio commentary. The night tour offers a stunning view of the city's illuminated landmarks, making it a recommended experience for visitors and locals alike.
This is my second time taking the Hop On Hop Off from Sungai Wang Plaza, and overall it’s still a fun and unique way to explore the city. I love the chance to enjoy the sights from a different perspective. Just a few small things I hope can be improved: when the conductor goes downstairs, some passengers tend to take outside seats freely, so maybe this part can be monitored better to keep it fair for everyone. The bus windows could also be cleaned more regularly so photos and videos from inside come out clearer. Lastly, I noticed some foreign visitors walking or standing while the bus was moving and it might be helpful if a conductor stayed upstairs to remind them. Other than that, it’s still a nice experience and I look forward to riding again!
Filza I — Google review
Very Disappointed. The Seating Policy Ruined the Experience. I had a very bad experience and feel I wasted my money. The entire purpose of a hop-on-hop-off bus is to see the city from the open-air deck. I was assigned a seat in the enclosed indoor section, and my view was completely obstructed. For future travelers: I highly recommend buying tickets directly at the counter instead of on Klook, so you can specifically ask for an open-air seat. If you can't get one, it's honestly not worth the money. To the service provider: You need to fix this. You should have clear, separate pricing tiers for the premium open-top seats versus the indoor seats. It's unfair to charge everyone the same price for such a drastically different (and poor) experience.
Đoàn H — Google review
This was one of the worst tourist bus experiences I've ever had. It's a real shame because the lack of proper headphones and commentary made the tour feel completely anonymous and uninteresting. The explanations were not only inaudible but also sporadic, making it impossible to learn anything about the city. This completely defeats the purpose of a sightseeing tour. It's a huge disappointment and a wasted opportunity.
M. B — Google review
The Hop-On Hop-Off bus was a nice and convenient way to go around the city quickly, allowing me to see a lot in a short time. However, one improvement would be adding a clear timetable of bus passage at each stop, as it would make planning and waiting much easier for passengers. Also beware there 2 way: garden or city tour. Overall, still a good experience!
Carmen ( — Google review
The ride was not good because of the attitude of the bus driver. Smoking infront bus during pitstop Sunway Putra Hotel. The door was open so the smoke comes inside the bus. The smell was not good and i bring my son together so this thing should not happen. Please take actoon on this. I hope this thing will not happen again. Will give bad assumption from tourist to Malaysia.

Was a great experience to see the city and garden routes of Kuala Lumpur. Some busses are in need of some tlc but the modern ones with AI guides were a great feature.

I am pregnant tourist from Brunei and had a very disappointing experience with this company. The bus i boarded had a strong, horrible smell similar to something rotten. Within minutes, i felt dizzy and nauseous and i became worried for my pregnancy and health. I had no choice but to get off the bus for my safety. What a shocked me even more is that staff, Ms Natasha told me she had already reported the issues to management but no action was taken. This is unaccaptable. Poor working conditions for the staff and definitely unsafe for customers. For a tourism company, hygiene and safety should be the top priority. I hope the management seriously fixes this problem so no other customer especially pregnant women, elederly or children has to go through this again. Very disappointed with this experience. Not recommended unless they improve
Asma H — Google review
The rudest employee and the worst tourism company we encountered during our Malaysian trip. When I tried to pay by credit card, the employee snapped at me and rudely told me to wait for the next bus. When I gave her a few ringgit to avoid waiting, the attendant grumbled and yelled at us, saying, "If you have cash, why don't you give it to me?" At some stops, the bus waits for 15 minutes for no reason. There are no headphones on the bus, and the announcements are made with an incomprehensible, staticky voice. I'm currently on this tour, but I deeply regret joining it. PS: Thank you for your response. However, there was no misunderstanding between the lady in charge and me. She understood us perfectly, and we understood her perfectly. This problem arose because she was a very rude person. Please accept that.

The Giant Panda Conservation Centre is a symbolic representation of the diplomatic relationship between China and Malaysia, housing two pandas, Liang Liang and Xing Xing. The conservation center is located within Zoo Negara and requires visitors to line up before entry. Once inside, guests have limited time to observe the pandas with restrictions on food, drinks, and photography guidelines in place.
A must-visit for panda lovers! 🥰 At Zoo Negara’s Giant Panda Conservation Centre, you’ll get up close with adorable pandas in a cool, peaceful environment. ❄️🌿 🔥 Highlights: 🐼 Meet Malaysia’s famous pandas! Panda conservation was very interesting. Once or twice in a lifetime to be up close to a beautiful animal and it wasn't crowded. It was quite amazing to have taken a few marvelous shots.

The place is good and comfortable. But there should be more personnel inside to have visitors to move and not to overstay the 5 minutes time. Problems I saw was: 1. Only have personnel to ask to leave bottle outside, but none inside. 2. There is no control to have batches to move in and out. It will be more organised 3. Visitors do not want to move causing a backlog to a point some that came in just left because visitors blocking the place and also using their camera/ iPad/ tablet to further block more.
Mahendaran S — Google review
It is quite crowded to visit on a public holiday. Visitors are only allowed a 5-minute visit and must be quiet during their visits. The centre is fully air-conditioned. There were three pandas during my visit. When you exit, you will see a souvenir shop where you can purchase panda merchandise. However, it creates congestion and makes it difficult for other visitors to leave the centre, as many people are blocking the exits or pathways.

Wanna see that cute chubby face? Come to Giant Panda Conservation. But not sure if the place is still running in 2025 because according to their staff, they'll send both the pandas back to China.

fu wa & feng yi are sooo cute! the place is nice and cold but their cafe are quite small for the crowd at that time. toilets are ok. the panda centre is quite far from other animals so wear suitable shoes. their feeding time is 11.30 (if im not mistaken) & 2.30 pm and they are active at that time. avoid coming after their makan time as they usually sleep and rest at that time 🐼🤍
Atika O — Google review
It was a popular spot in Zoo Negara. You can go early if you just want to see the pandas. It is located quite far from entrance A. When you arrive at the conservation you need to line up first. No food and drinks allowed. Your phone needs to put on a silent mode.11.30am is Panda's feeding time. At the end of the route in the conservation there are Panda merchandise shops and cafeterias for visitors to have a short break.

The center also features restaurants and green spaces for visitors to enjoy. It's a great place to catch talented actors in action, with simple yet effective stage setups and comfortable seating providing a good view of the performances.
A beautiful space with restored heritage buildings. Perfect for a sunday stroll in the park to feed the terrapins, carp and catfish in the lake. Also, lookout for orchestra events to make a weekend out extra memorable.

If you’re unsure of what to do in your free time and are bored of just going to malls in KL, why not support our local performing arts scene by watching some local plays instead? It’s an amazing experience and I highly recommend checking it out at KLPAC - the venue itself is beautiful (there is also a scenic park) and plenty of parking available. I watched anak-anak Malik and really enjoyed it. All the actors were so amazing and I was so immersed that I didn’t even feel the time go by. The theatre itself is also comfortable , well maintained and had good acoustics. Will definitely be back!

Plan to pamper myself with foot & shoulder treatment last Friday. Booking thru call their hotline number, very easy, fast respond, plenty slot available. Last minute change slot depends on availability. The waiting area very calm and cozy. The receptionist very helpful. So I decided to change my treatment to Head, back, shoulder and foot treatment for 1 hour with affordable price. Add on balm for foot just RM12. The treatment comes with therapy oil, you can choose 1 of different types. I chose lemongrass oil, very calm and good! The staff brought to wash my foot and going upstairs, women only area. Overall the staff doing very good! Very worth it for an hour. They served hot tea after the treatment. Will cone again soon👍🏻

I booked the Headspa Combo B, which included both a massage and a headspa. I really enjoyed the oil massage – it was soothing and tailored to my needs. The therapist paid attention to the fact that I’m easily ticklish and adjusted the pressure to be soft, which I appreciated. I felt relaxed and renewed after this part of the treatment. However, the headspa experience was not as relaxing as I had hoped. There was a lot of noise from banging and tossing of items, and it seemed like the therapist wasn’t very confident with the equipment. She also appeared to have difficulty managing the water pressure and temperature, which took up quite a bit of the session time. The hair washing itself felt more like scratching, especially with her long nails, which was uncomfortable and painful at times. On top of that, her hair-drying skills were not very good, which made the ending feel a bit rushed and less polished. For me, hair washing technique is the most important part of a headspa, and because of the lack of expertise in this area, the session was not very enjoyable or relaxing. That said, I did like the minty refreshing sensation during one of the washing steps, as well as the short massages included in the headspa. Overall, I loved the massage portion, but I think the headspa section could benefit from more training and refinement so the experience feels smoother, more professional, and truly relaxing.

Im always so choosy about my massage therapist. But this time I think I found my favourite person atr526,I feel so much better and relaxed after 2 hours of body massage with her. Her kungfu is good. I can tell she is very experienced. I will come back again for her.

Booked a 90-minute foot and shoulder massage through their website and enjoyed a 10% discount. The place is easy to find, with a pleasant and friendly atmosphere inside. My slot was on a Saturday, 4pm, 11 out of 12 slots were occupied - recommend to book beforehand. My masseuse was no. 876. ☺️ She was professional and patient, even though I have very sensitive feet and reacted a few times. She kept checking if the pressure was comfortable, which I really appreciated.

Hiking area
Bukit Kembara Trailhead is a popular hiking spot with both easy and steep tracks, attracting many visitors during the weekends. The trail offers a challenging yet fun experience, with steep climbs and rewarding views of Empangan Tasik Hijau. Hikers can expect to encounter some steep stairs and may need to take breaks along the way. The path is surrounded by trees, providing shade from the heat.
Lesser known trail. Gives a good hike. Return and around the dam takes 2.5 hours. A moderate climb. Parking is limited. There's no public toilet so please ease yourself before hiking. I find this a peaceful hike. Worth it. Bring walking sticks during rainy season. Roads are rugged with ropes to climb.
Wil C — Google review
Of course! Here is the trail review, restructured and injected with a healthy dose of humor. --- Forget the overhyped trails where you hike in a conga line of tourists. This one’s for those who like their nature with a side of mild suffering and a payoff that’s totally worth it. The Vitals: · Time: A solid 2.5 hours if you stop to question your life choices at least twice. · Difficulty: They call it "moderate." Your legs will call it "a betrayal." It starts with a "why am I doing this?" steep climb before it remembers to be nice and flattens out. · Parking: Let's just say if you see an empty spot, it’s probably a mirage. Or a motorcycle spot. Carpool or prepare to walk before your walk. · Facilities: There is no public toilet. The trees are your friends. Please do your "pre-flight checks" elsewhere. This is not the place for a surprise. The Trail Deets: The path is rugged, charmingly uneven, and features these cool ropes that make you feel like a legit mountain climber instead of someone who just escaped their desk. Highly recommend walking sticks, especially if it's rained—the steps get slicker than a politician's promise. Once you survive the initial calf-burner climb (about 10 minutes of pure regret), the trail chills out a bit. Then you hit the dam, and oh man. It’s this serene, gorgeous, old-school reservoir that makes you forget you were silently cursing the incline just moments ago. It’s the universe’s reward for not giving up. We even witnessed a full-on "Nature is Metal" moment—the circle of life in action! (No spoilers, but it was awesome). Final Verdict: A peaceful,not-crowded, in-and-out trail that’s absolutely worth the effort. Just maybe don't go right after a storm unless you're keen on testing the slipperiness of mud with your own body.
Karim A — Google review
Came here twice. First time went all the way to the stesen hujan, it take about 2 hours. Second time was looping the dam in and out take about 1 hour plus. Many mosquitoes need to bring repellent spray. The lake/dam quite beautiful during sunset.
BT L — Google review
Good place to hike, the view of the lake definitely worth the hike. But be careful as the trails are not maintained.
Ampuan A — Google review
This is a great 5k out and back (with a loop around a lake mixed in). This is not an easy hike. There are quite steep parts and ropes are needed for assistance at times. Very dynamic scenery and wildlife.
Brian H — Google review
For beginner, this trail is quite challenging. Long and steep steps await. Got canes to borrow at the start, just make sure to return it back. There are ropes provided that can help you go up. I think it is around 1.5km to the lake, 3km return or so.. We didn't reach the top as it is too demanding for the kids. Be mindful when going down as it is quite slippery. We'll come back again to conquer it! 💪🏼
Tengku R — Google review
The entrance is fairly easy to find. Trails can be challenging depending in your fitness level. Lots of incline and decline. Nice small waterfalls along the way. Lovely ferns and mushrooms along the trail.

We stopped here on a public holiday to catch the sunset, and it was truly worth it. Parking is mostly by the roadside, so it’s easier if you come on a motorcycle. There aren’t any proper facilities at the moment, as the roadside stalls that used to be here have been removed. However, rubbish bins are provided to help keep the area clean. The highlight is definitely the view – absolutely breathtaking, subhanallah beautiful. It’s a simple spot, but perfect if you just want to pause, take in the scenery, and enjoy a peaceful moment with nature. Most importantly they're free

ATV Adventure Park Kuala Lumpur offers an exhilarating experience for thrill-seekers. Visitors can ride all-terrain vehicles through off-road trails, encountering stunning natural scenery and attractions like the monkey spring, durian orchard, and ginger plantation along the way. The adventure is not for the faint of heart, especially during rainy days when the trails can get muddy and slippery. A professional guide ensures safety throughout the experience.
I went for an ATV ride yesterday—my second experience after 10 years—and it was definitely worth the time! I didn’t expect such an extreme ride, especially since they said it was for beginners. But to me, it felt far from beginner-friendly. The route was quite steep with lots of bumpy roads, which made it even more challenging. I was really scared to ride on my own and ended up getting assistance from the ATV guide. Luckily, he was incredibly kind and patient. He understood my concerns and drove the entire journey carefully, slowing down whenever possible. He even kept chatting with me to help ease my fear. Now, don’t ask me why I went in the first place—because I was totally scammed by a colleague! Haha. But in the end, it turned out to be a wonderful experience. It's definitely a must-try place, so do check it out! We went in the afternoon for a two-hour ride from 12:30 to 2:30 PM, and it was an amazing experience. Make sure to bring extra clothes because there's a waterfall along the way. Also, don’t forget to bring cold drinks or 100+ to stay hydrated!

Thank you very much for this super experience ! 🤩 We had a friendly welcome + a very nice guide Surie, he gave us confidence and helped us whenever we struggled. We took the Che mah Orchard circuit for the viewpoint over KL, the path was quite muddy and not very relaxing, not easy for beginners, we took an easier path for the return haha! The view was so beautiful, with the coconut juice it was perfect. And to finish, a swim in their pool, with the fresh water from the waterfalls, it was soo coooll ! There is lockers, toilet, shower and tables to eat. All this for 300RM for two = 60€, during 1-1/2 hours We recommend it 1000% Thank you agaiiinn ✨️ For more adventure : lauriegin_travel on Instagram 😋

This one is tricky. Loved the experience as a onroad motorcycle rider with very little offroad and quad experience it was a hand full to drive. Would not recommend for people without proper driving skills. Staff was very friendly we did the B+ 2,5 hour ride. The old red quads on the picture were not used anymore. More recent quads are used. If you like an adventure this is the place. But remember you need some skill or you will hurt yourself!

Changat is a very lively and vibrant place in Bukit Bintang, notable for its never ending exciting night life. This is basically a street lined up with numerous bars and clubs, that wakes up late in the evening and stays awake till 3 am or later in the morning. You can find lots of people flocking to these clubs and the street mostly tourists/travelers. The street is so crowded even at 2.30am that one may find it a task tomorrow through it. Anyways, if you are a guy who loves night life the Changat is for you

The Relax Oasis Signature Massage is located on the 3rd floor of NU Central mall, offering a clean and hygienic environment with excellent ambience. The facility provides foot massages outside and body massages inside, including options like Traditional Thai massage. Customers have praised the effective pain relief from the treatments. While some feel that staff could be more welcoming, others have had positive experiences with skilled therapists who provide attentive and thorough massages.
Booked 1 hour session for my wife and myself post her birthday. Took foot therapy package, 45min for and 15 head and shoulders. Went for morning session as it will be fresh and start of the day. For mine attended by therapist Deon, she is very professional and skillful. Able to spot of the pain source and massage gently to relief the pain. The pressure was just right, and she even ask if need to add or minus the pressure for courtesy. The ambience was great with nice lean chair (could not snap the pic). I almost slept as the massage was so gentle. After the massage, feel like just came back from 'heaven'. Yes, that's the feeling I had. Definitely will come back again to try other therapy method. Receptionist was very attentive as well. Kudos !

If you're looking for a cheap spa and just want to walk in for a foot or back massage, 1 Target Body is okay. But if you’re planning to get a full body massage, I wouldn’t recommend it because the rooms are only separated by curtains,so you can hear everything when others are getting their massage. However, when I went, I asked for a therapist with a lot of experience, and I really liked it. My body felt so much better, and I even recovered from a fever after two days.
Putri B — Google review
Massage therapist had no idea what she was doing, worst massage I have had in my life, if you could even call it a massage. Obviously zero training. Establishment did not deal with the problematic staff member, never going there again and would recommend everyone stay away. I highly doubt they will reach out or comment here either. Would give minus 5 if I could.
Ólafur H — Google review
My therapist Dewi was very skillfull as she was able to pick up which parts was hurting when I didn't even tell her. She also was gentle (not too hard not too soft) which was perfect. I will definitely book with her again. In terms of the environment, I wouldn't say its the best as it is too noisy. The place is small so you'll be able to here other therapists chattering and conversations from the front desk with customers. So if you're looking for a zen & relaxing place and time, this won't be the place for you. But if you're looking for a quick fix to ease your soreness, then I'd definitely recommend!

Not worth RM90 for the combo leg, shoulder, and neck massage. The masseuse seemed inexperienced, especially with upper body stretching and massaging. Management, please ensure your staff receive proper training.

Pros : Perfect location on the 3rd floor of NU Central mall. Very clean and hygienic place . Excellent ambience . Very relaxing . Foot massage on the outside and body massage on the inside of chambers. Customers would like it more . Tried the Traditional Thai massage -60 mins . So good to bring out all the pain from body. 99 MYR. Okay for the place and location. Cons : Staffs are okay. Could be more welcoming and sweet. Should give discounts to first time customers.

The massage therapist not experienced at all, Un happy, no communication.i have used their service 3 years ago which I gave 5 star But not anymore. Worst was the massage therapist used hand Glove, from relaxing to unrelaxing so please Avoid this place, look around for others.

I paid for a 2 hour oil massage. They only massage about 10cm above the knee, so you don't get a massage on your quads or hamstring. Nothing on the glutes either. Just way too much time on the arms and calf muscles. For me an absolute waste of money and I left after the 1st hour.

The KL Forest Eco Park Campsite is a serene escape nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, offering a lush green oasis for visitors to explore. As one of Malaysia's oldest forest reserves, it stands as a testament to the city's natural heritage. With free entry, guests can wander through well-maintained walking trails, elevated walkways, and the forest canopy without spending a dime.
Fun walking trails. The sky walk bridges are very cool and go a long ways. Some outskirts of the park are a little dilapidated and out of use. But over all totally worth a visit.

I have traveled to nearly 40 countries, this is the first time I see such a fraud method. Two people gave rm80. Worse, we stayed inside! They sold us tickets at the last minute and ran away! Most importantly, we spent 10 minutes inside and finished! There's nothing inside! There is a small walking route, you finish in 10 minutes!!!
Møntko — Google review
I don’t quite understand the negative reviews. You can’t force the animals to show up :) The park is beautiful, with long and well-maintained tree walks. We even got lucky and saw some monkeys! Of course it’s humid and there are insects – it’s like a little jungle in the middle of the city, so bring repellent. Great views of Merdeka and the KL Tower from the park as well.
Michaela K — Google review
Located just next to KL Tower. It is a nice place to visit for a short duration. You have to buy the entry pass at the entrance gate. Inside greenery everywhere along with some wild small animals like cats and birds. Man made sky bridge is the main attraction here.
Avnish C — Google review
It’s nice! As long as you pair it with going up the tower
Fahad A — Google review
Quite expensive for what it is (RM40 for tourists). Signs are not very clear it’s easy to start walking down a “trail” then it leads to nothing and you have to go back in yourself. A park map would be useful. The only thing that is okay is the canopy walk but again the signs pointing to it aren’t clear that it actually starts right behind the main ticket office. Be aware there’s a lot of incline if you walk down to walk back up again. There is another entrance at the bottom of the park so you don’t need to climb all the way back up.

Great spot to get fresh air & ground for walking activity. Appreciate the label/tag to the flora. Good location to brings kids and expose them to the nature.

Bukit Dinding Hiking Trail (Kazumi) is a popular hiking destination in northern Malaysia, suitable for hikers of varying experience levels. The trail offers multiple entrances, including a tarmac and cemented road for hikers and a wide forest trail for downhill bikers. It's considered a moderate fitness level hike, with the AllTrails app recommended to avoid getting lost.
I'm surprised by how the trail being maintained. All the trails are welly maintained (the path, direction, cleanliness) and the view is pretty. Just one comment: Kazumi Santai is super slippery after rain, the rest of the trail is still fine. 3 of us slipped at this trail and is kind of dangerous, please be careful. My trip: #Going up 1. Kazumi Otai: steep and need rope climbing a lot and you will reach the first klcc view point 2. Kl see see: just walking and enjoy the view (2nd pic) and reach the peak (4th pic) #Going down 3. Pandan: steep becareful 4. Lookout: steep becareful 5. Kazumi Santai: Not that steep, but is muddy and slippery especially after rain also need to be careful Overall: 8.6km 4hours Difficulty: 3.5 (moderate high)

for a person who never hikes this trail really push you to the limit 🥲 but it was worth it. big crowd on weekends. helpful when you come in a group especially someone who has been there to guide. fun if you are not rushing with time. each route has a stop where you enjoy the view or buy food and drinks. the food and drinks they offer is also appetizing💕🤤 a group of kids in primary school came just to explore new route. guess it is kids friendly if they are 10 and above. good training ground. the route I didn't explore was only mini gunung tahan.
Amirah Z — Google review
We hiked the Kazumi Trail at Bukit Dinding and it turned out to be a really good experience. For me, the trail was pretty easy but for one of my friends it was a bit more challenging. Another friend even brought his two kids along. Despite that, all of us managed to finish the hike together in about 3 hours. It was a nice mix of exercise, fresh air, and spending time with friends. If you're looking for a trail that is not too extreme but still gives you a decent workout, this one is worth trying.
Hairul ( — Google review
The entrance to the Kazumi trail is unassuming. You can see the park signboard but that's it. There is no gate or clear passage way in. You just plunge yourself to the thicket. But don't worry. Once under the foliage you'll find that trails are clearly marked. The first point of interest should be the small waterfall and a creek. Then after that you will start to see why this place got called 'Bukit Dinding' (Wall Hill). Most of the climbs were almost vertical. Luckily they fix sturdy guide ropes. Best to bring climbing gloves to prevent blistering hands. But it's not going to be vertical all the way to the top. There are stretches where you can stroll. Go for Check Point 2 where there is rendevous point for all the trails before the peak. From there, the peak is just a brisk hike away. If you just want to enjoy the view you can use vehicles to about two thirds of the way. Take the other entrance from Bukit Dinding Bistro and drive all the way to Check Point 2. Once you are at the peak, take some pictures. Greet the other hikers you meet up there. Pet the local stray. But don't stop there. Continue your to the two lookout points. The two lookout points were very rewarding. One side looking out to downtown Kuala Lumpur, the other side looking out to Wangsa Maju area where you can see where the urban area meets Titiwangsa Massif. Once you rest, soaked up the view, limber your sore feet, you can start the hike down. Expect the hike down to be as challenging as up.
Barkah Y — Google review
Hiked Bukit Dinding recently, it’s an easy to moderate trail, great for building stamina with lots of uphill sections. You can go up and down using different routes, which keeps things interesting. No permit is needed and it’s beginner-friendly too. There are several trails for both hiking and biking, as shown on the trail map. However, one downside is that the 291m peak isn’t at a scenic lookout point like many other Bukits, so don’t expect a rewarding view at the top. Still, it’s a good spot for a solid workout and a nature escape close to the city!
Vicky T — Google review
Trail Route: We followed a well-marked path — started with orange and pink trails up, then returned via green, red, and blue trails. Duration: 3 hours total, including a 30-minute break. Difficulty Level: Beginner to Moderate – Suitable for most hikers with basic fitness. Highlights: The trail markings were clear and easy to follow. Met Santan, Horlick, and Milo — three adorable dogs who even followed us for a short stretch. They made the hike extra memorable! Getting There: Accessible via LRT Sri Sampai — convenient for those using public transport. Amenities: There's a food court and mall nearby, perfect for a post-hike meal or refreshments.

Bukit Dinding Hiking Trail Review Bukit Dinding in is a great spot for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The trail offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, with a peaceful forest atmosphere and plenty of fresh air. It’s a well-maintained area with multiple routes to explore, making it suitable for both casual hikers and more experienced trekkers. One of the best things about Bukit Dingin is the variety of trails available. Whether you're looking for a short nature walk or a longer, more challenging hike, there’s something for everyone. The forest trails are surrounded by lush greenery and occasional glimpses of local wildlife. You’ll also find some steep inclines and rocky paths that provide a good workout. For mountain bikers, there are dedicated MTB trails with exciting slopes and turns. These biking paths are clearly marked and offer a thrilling ride through the woods. It's a popular spot on weekends, but it still maintains a calm and relaxing vibe. Overall, Bukit Dingin is a beautiful and well-rounded hiking destination. Whether you’re hiking, biking, or just enjoying a walk in nature, it’s definitely worth a visit.

“Bukit Dinding is a hidden gem for a quick cardio hike in Kuala Lumpur. The trail is basically a steep tarmac road, so be prepared for a solid leg workout. It took me about 50 minutes to reach the top, and the view of KL city was absolutely worth it, especially at sunrise. The place feels safe since many locals hike here daily, but parking can be tricky and the climb is quite intense. Overall, it’s a great spot for fitness enthusiasts looking for a convenient hike near the city.”

The hike begins at an ATV trail near Zoo Negara and leads to rolling hills with fruit orchards. Over the weekend, I joined my company’s hiking event at Bukit Pau, Kemensah. The trail was just nice, not too extreme but there were definitely some steep uphill parts that made us break a sweat! 😅, Awal2 jee bukit tu dh mencanak2 ye 🤣.. At first, we got a little confused between Dusun Lee Cafe and Kebun Che Mah, and accidentally went to the wrong one. So, gais make sure you double check the location before going! From what I saw, Kebun Che Mah looks more relaxing with a nicer view. Maybe it just wasn’t our rezeki this time, but it’s okay still had a great time overall 💕

This is a nice easy hike up an ATV trail. The road leading to the trailhead passes right by Zoo Negara and gets progressively narrower closer to the trailhead. Please drive in a small car - you can thank me later. There is paid parking right near the trailhead. The trail leads straight up into rolling hills with fruit orchards. While there's no specific signage directing you to the peak of Bukit Pau just follow signs for Tok Lee's and that will get you to the right place. If you go early, you'll be rewarded with a "sea of clouds in the hills" panorama. On a clear day, you can see Genting Highlands from Bukit Pau. You can also see Bukit Tabur which is part of Klang Gate Quartz Ridge. There are nice doggos around the area who will appreciate doggie snacks and some water. Definitely will come back.

Led by Batik artist Emilia Tan, guests can create their own Batik art using block stamping or free-hand techniques. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, Emilia provides all the necessary materials and guidance with patience and friendly conversation. The workshop also features a coffee shop and sells clothing and gifts. It's an essential activity for those seeking an authentic Malaysian experience.
I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a batik craft cooperation event, and it was truly an eye-opening and enriching experience. From learning the history of batik to trying the actual wax-resist dyeing technique, every step felt deeply rooted in tradition and creativity. Working alongside skilled local artisans gave me a new appreciation for the effort, detail, and passion that goes into every piece. It was more than just an art workshop—it was a connection to heritage, community, and sustainable craftsmanship. What stood out most was the spirit of cooperation—how local communities, social enterprises, and participants came together to preserve and promote this beautiful art form while also creating economic opportunities. I left the event not only with a beautiful, hand-dyed piece I made myself, but also with a renewed respect for Malaysia’s cultural richness. Highly recommended for anyone who values creativity with purpose.
