Shopping mall
Shopping
Yumbo Centre is a popular spot for the gay community in Gran Canaria, particularly in Playa del Ingles. By day, it's a shopping center, but at night it transforms into a vibrant hub of nightlife with various LGBT-friendly bars and clubs. The area caters to different interests such as bears, leather, mature men, drag shows, and more. It's also known for hosting specialist discos and drag performances.
My hotel was 5 minutes walking from this shopping mall and we were visiting every day, sometimes even twice a day. Once in the morning for a coffee and snack and once late in the evening partying in the clubs. There are too many stores for food, cosmetics, clothes, electronics, jewelry etc. Hope to see it in the future again.
Sašo N — Google review
Visited the shopping centre during day as didn't feel appropriate to take kids in the evening reading some of the previous reviews, probably the right call! So this review solely based on going during the day and not seeing some of the 'magic' that others have mentioned! The shopping centre is like a maze of different shops with many cafes, bars and restaurants. No idea if we managed to walk round all parts of it as we was up and down different stairs. Seemed like a good place if you want to get some souvenirs or a cheap football shirt - we certainly found the place a bit different...! Wasn't particularly busy when we went either (mid afternoon).
Andrew C — Google review
Stay upstairs if your shopping. Go downstairs and see a fantastically different bit of culture. We didn't stay late. The usual load of tut shops are waiting upstairs and around the perimeter for the whole family. Get the shutters up on the closed premises, the fountain working again and this place will be extra lit Gran Can.
Max D — Google review
We visited the Yumbo 7 times mainly to eat. Saw some drag artists which was good. We went on Fetish week which we didn't realise it was that week until we got there. It was extremely busy and boy it was very different from our normal holiday. There's lots of stalls and shops so if you like shopping it's good for that. We also played mini golf.
Julie V — Google review
Absolutely brilliant experience here, me & my partner arrived here on a Sunday not to our own knowledge there was a clubbing session going on near downstairs Sparkles, it was one of the best times of my life it had the best music going. I had the time of my life. If you’re a homosexual like me try Mykonos up on the third floor? That club is immense. I went there the following day & had a brilliant dance.

Park
Parque del Sur, also known as Maspalomas Park, is a popular urban park on the island with various attractions for visitors. The park features an amphitheater for events and extensive lawns shaded by large trees, making it an ideal spot for picnics and outdoor activities. It offers entertainment for children with playgrounds, a climbing wall, and a large children's area. Additionally, there are lanes for skateboarding and cycling enthusiasts to enjoy.
Lovely place to walk round and take in the wild life. Parakeets, Egrets, island canaries, Hoopoes to name but a few. A great cafe serving freshly made food. Very friendly and helpful
Jane T — Google review
nice park, local feel, wc not at cafe but in park near canopy (no paper!) we climbed the rock in the park, don‘t underestimate it - loose holds and rusty anchor.
Andrew J — Google review
This is a really beautiful park with a large pond, toilet facilities, a music cafe bar, children's play area, and an amphitheatre. There is parking nearby and holiday world is just across the street. The pond is my favourite part. Fish, ducks, herons, turtles, dragon flies. On my last walk around I saw a duck with 12 chicks!! So cute.
Kelvin R — Google review
Beautiful park, well maintained. Sadly no dogs are allowed but understandable. Nice cafe area, climbing wall, tables for picnics and a large area that holds musical events.
ROD T — Google review
Great park to spend a quiet afternoon. Very well maintained and with plenty of space to enjoy the sun or have a quick picnic.
Stefan P — Google review
Great for doing any sort of cardio running training while on holiday. Used to be very dark down one side but they have now added lights on sensors which is a massive help
Joanne F — Google review
Nice park with green lawn, relatively clean installations. The pond has birds fishes and toads, there is a cafeteria to take a drink or grab some food, quite nice. They may need to get more oxygen into the pond though, as the green algae starting to grow a bit too much, won't happen as much if there is sufficient water turnaround, meaning more fresh oxygen in the water. But it's still clean enough and quite nice. They're a picnic area and they're are public toilets too (I didn't enter those, so no comment about their state)
Martin S — Google review
Good green zone. Playground is very old and some places lost a rubber base, which cover a concrete. I saw a moment when boy fall down on his back and probably have broken a coccyx. Getting stars off because of security reasons.

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Aqualand Maspalomas is a top destination for families seeking aquatic fun in Maspalomas. The park offers an exciting variety of water slides and attractions suitable for all ages, ensuring a day filled with laughter and adventure. From adrenaline-pumping slides to more relaxed pools, there's something for everyone. Children can splash around in the dedicated kids' area while adults soak up the Canarian sunshine or join in on the excitement.
Me and my partner went on a Tuesday in June, turned up just after 10 expecting huge queues and needing to pay extra for fast track tickets but were suprised to find the park fairly quiet. The rides were brilliant, good mix of fast and drops. Managed to get on every ride without waiting more than 10 minutes which for a peak summer time I don’t think is bad at all. Food is on the expensive side, especially if you order a meal so we just ordered chips. Food is from what we had good quality! Numerous places to order on site. If you take the bus expect to either wait until 15:00 or have to pay for a taxi back (which was really cheap back to our hotel). Not sure if it’s always like this but the buses stopped running there in the afternoon. All round a really good water park and we really enjoyed our time there!
Nathan C — Google review
We had a fab day out here - 2 adults, 1 tall 6 year old - her favourite day of the holiday. We got on all the slides within 10 mins max. We visited on Monday 1st sept. No problem filling a whole day here. We took our own food after seeing reviews on the cost and quality of food, although had coffee and a waffle from their and were perfectly fine and not to pricey. Glad we took water shoes as this makes getting around a lot easier and can be worn on all rides. We had water proof phone cases and only had to leave our phones at the bottom of the slides with the mats (which makes sense as you lay head first on your tummy, we could take them on all others. We paid for a locker for our valuables but left all our bags with our sun loungers and these were fine. Toilets and changing facilities were good and clean. Not sure why so many negative reviews, this almost put us off but really glad we visited in the end! Prices are pretty much what you expect in these tourist places. Excellent day out!
James-Debbie M — Google review
Ah good place when it’s not to crowded. Have been here before, queuing 45 min for everything, this time was close to no queuing. With older kids you’re pretty done after 4 hours when they done everything several times. Worth to know, food is a total scam, short food for high prices where they show something at pictures that they don’t serve cause adds are extra even if it’s in display pictures. On that staff acting rude in the restaurant, they only survive cause they have monopoly
Fredrik T — Google review
Decided to visit on the last day of our holiday which happened to be a Sunday. There wasn't huge crowds of people so the wait for slides and our food was minimum which was ideal. The food is pretty expensive but that's to be expected at touristy places like this and the portion sizes and food quality is decent so there's not much to complain about in that sense - you always expect to pay those prices. You can however take your own if you'd rather so again, not much to complain about. The floor is brutal to walk on barefoot (heat and texture wise) so definitely take some kind of shoe that you can get wet and keep them on if you can! There's a good selection of slides to keep you busy and we had a great day. The lockers are 7 euros and again, we expected to pay that price for a popular tourist spot. We opted to pay an additional 10 euros for a waterproof phone case which is well worth it to keep not only your phone (great opportunity for photos) but also things like your locker ticket (you get a locker ticket which has your locker number and the pin to get in the locker) so you definitely don't want to risk getting it wet! Toilets are nice & clean and spaced out well throughout the park so you never have to walk far. Overall, you expect to pay the tourist price for the tourist attraction but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend it to anyone else who wants a fun day out! Buses are very simple and cheap to get there - the bus stop is outside the water park so you can't miss it!
Bethany B — Google review
We booked our tickets online for 91€ total (2 adults + 1 child, age 3). The ticket only covers entry and access to the slides, but here’s the catch: almost every activity has long waiting lines. If you want to skip the queue, you’re pushed into buying a “fast-line” bracelet for 13.50€ per person—and even then, you’ll still wait if it’s crowded. Feels like double-charging. Most slides are only suitable for people between 1.20m–1.50m, which means younger children (like my 3-year-old) can only access a handful of attractions. Out of 18 activities, only 4 or 5 were usable for us, and most of which with an adult. Parking lot costs 5€. Once inside, prepare to pay even more: • 5€ per sun lounger (per person!)—something that should really be included in the ticket price. • 7€ per locker if you don’t want to carry your valuables around. • Food is ridiculously overpriced and very limited. Expect to pay 50–60€ for a basic lunch for a family of three. The park itself is large, with a decent kids’ area, and my 3-year-old did enjoy it, and small pool for adults. But overall, the place feels like a money trap—everything costs extra, waiting times are frustrating, and the value for money is terrible.
Abdeljabbar J — Google review
Aqualand Visited middle of August 2025 its not overly bad I wouldn't return though. €35 per person for a fast pass is extremely expensive ( €140 for my family of 4 ) after spending €190 for return coach and entry. Food is expensive roughly €80 for 3 burgers, chips and drinks, 2 portions of fries and 1 cheese bites. You could complete the park in less than 2 hours but with the ques you are spending more time queuing than you are on the rides. I've been to parks I'd happily return to but for me this is a 1 time thing
Michelle I — Google review
We visited aqualand outside school holidays and had a great day. The ride wait time was at most 5 people ahead of you but mainly the walk up the many steps. It is an expensive place to visit. Food very expensive which was expected for an attraction but lockers are 7 euros, a sun bed is 5 euros per bed to use all day and if you want a set of digital photos and one print, it's another 40 euros however many pics you get which was too much for digital files. Drinks were about 5 to 7 euros for a cola or slushie. We did have a very enjoyable day only regretting one slide that felt dangerous. You went down on your front and hurt both myself and wife in the tummy as we came down. I would recommend avoiding that one. Overall it was a good day, but the additional costs and that slide took down our rating. Good recommendation is to bring your own food and drinks.
John C — Google review
Really enjoyed our trip to Aqualand. Have been to Gran Can several times in recent years and this was our first trip here, and I was pleasantly surprised. We booked our tickets as part of the 2 park package (Palmitos Park) and got a sizeable discount rather than booking both parks separately. We didn't have to queue for longer than a couple of minutes to enter. The lockers are a bit on the small side, so be mindful when packing a bag. Also if you have a waterproof pouch, bring that with you to keepnl your locker code (which is printed on paper) safe. The food is a bit on the pricy side, so bring some snacks and then get a few things from the food stall to supplement and that'll keep you going for the day. We got the 70 bus up from Campo de Golf and it was very quick, 10 mins or so, and very reasonable price wise. The amount of rides is really impressive and kept me and both my boys entertained all day. The wave pool was a favourite, every hour on the hour. All in all, an enjoyable trip and we will go back the next time we are in GC.

Gardens
Nestled in the heart of Maspalomas, Parque Botánico is a verdant oasis that showcases an impressive collection of over 500 plant species. This botanical garden beautifully blends local flora from the Canary Islands with exotic varieties, thanks to its unique microclimate. Visitors can wander through lush pathways while enjoying the sights and sounds of vibrant birds and fluttering butterflies. Although it’s a smaller park, it offers a peaceful retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.
Not advertised in local hotels or guides, this is a hidden gem that is well worth a visit. Free entry, free clean and well maintained public toilets, a great collection of plants and bird/insect life. I have visited 3 times so far. Worth it just for the bird song and butterflies.
Paul S — Google review
A unexpectedly peaceful and beautiful botanical garden providing a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of traffic and commercial tourism. The gardens are not big, but the paths lead you on a nice tour with an interesting variation of trees and plants – plus the occasional sleeping cat. Open until 6 pm, no entrance fee and no staff. The gardens bathed in golden evening light and let us witness beautiful, huge butterflies and other interesting insects on the plants.
Vera H — Google review
Great place to have a wander around. Completely free entry, toilets on site. A nice array of beautiful flowers, plants, cacti, banana trees which are well maintained. Nice shady spots on a hot day too.
Lindsay H — Google review
This isn't a big place, but it's free to enter and a nice way to spend some quiet time just taking in the beauty. There are also quite a few shady spots where you can sit down and cool off. Some of it seemed a bit neglected, but overall, I was impressed, considering you can spend a fortune to look around gardens like this in the UK!
Catherine D — Google review
We found this fantastic garden by chance walking past it. The garden was clean with a well maintained path and plenty of interesting plants to look at. I would recommend following the route arrows for the best experience. Entry cost: Free Note: It would be worth taking hand sanitiser and a packet of tissues if you would like to use the on site toilets as soap and toilet roll did not seem to be provided. These facilities were very clean though.
Rebecca M — Google review
Interesting collection of mostly non-indigenous plants which are well maintained. It’s rather a small park than a botanical garden. 30-40 minutes are fully enough to visit it. The entrance is free of charge and no entrance tickets are required. There is a public lavatory inside the parc. Certainly worth to be visited if you are around
Andriy Z — Google review
Very nice to see all the different plants. A wide variety of cactus to see. Toilets on site. Plenty of parking spaces . Free entry which surprised us. The paths up the the waterfall and caves were a little unkempt so go careful. Shame about the dried up pond , which probably would have been a nice feature before
Charlotte R — Google review
Vey nice Hortus Botanicus with a wide variety of Canarian plants and trees. It’s nit a very big park, but you can take a nice and interesting walk of about thirty minutes. Unfortunately there us not much water in the canals or fountains, which would living the place up a bit.

Very nice beach. A bit rocky but safe for children. Not available for dogs

Not the best of beaches in the area in comparison but much quieter. Seemed to be only locals. Surrounding coastal path and railings are no where near as nice or well kept with a lot rusty and broken in places. It was however well worth a stroll along the boardwalk to visit the beach. Not sure I would have sunbathed here in comparison to nicer areas along the way.
Sue V — Google review
Could be such an amazing place. No visible effort to clean, fix or maintain anything, no toilets, no lifeguard service. Beach covered in cigarette butts, small bits and pieces of trash. Recent walkway renovations were nice except they permitted private owners to block access to much of the walkway system. Still No toilets, showers, nor even a simple foot wash station - its 2025 now (first review in 2020) on an island with a ton of tourism dollars better public infrastructure required. There are self rescue flotation devices. Graffiti is still all over the rocks and walls. If you look past these flaws it is a stunning location with a ton of potential to be better. Beach is pet friendly, lots of space at low tide very little at high tide. Worth a look to see how tourism dollars are not spent on infrastructure in more local zones and how deteriorated infrastructure is in many of the local zones in Gran Canaria. Especially to see how private people can somehow just fence off portions of public walkways to block access.

Alex at Dream Homes is simply the best, she helped us find and secure our dream Gran Canarian home 9 years ago and has helped us to sell it too. I would whole heartedly recommend her services to anyone...she is a true professional, extremely helpful and friendly.

1. In Dream Homes you find trusted, helpful and friendly people. The information they give is valid. 2. The Duplex we rented, this year, presented a case. This was chosen by us at home before coming to Gran Canary, and only upon information and photos we got by mail. The information was enough to make a decision. And, yes it was the right accommodation we looked for. 3. All the members of Dream Homes team are great, Alex, Nicola and Cate. Nicola is the one with whom we have been in contact, and she is a wonderful person of high professional characters, among others she was so patient with me in answering all my questions in details. 4. It was surprising to find that, the owner of the Duplex is also a very positive person. She is very well organised person and this is seen as well from her rented to us Duplex. But, this could be one of the criteria by which Dream Homes choose their offered accommodations.

Alexandra did an amazing job selling my mum's home. She is so kind and always helpful, she always went above and beyond, helping me sort the seemingly million things out that needed doing or that arose during the sale. She made the process easy to understand which was very complicated from abroad, She was always keeping me updated and I felt like her experience, her trustworthiness and her ability made the whole thing happen which at the start, seemed very unlikely. She was a pleasure to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend her.

Alexandra has been exceptional in all our dealings with her in buying our apartment in Playa del ingles. Her professional approach and considerable experience made the whole process enjoyable and completely hassle free She introduced and accompanied us at every step with the daunting legal process and recommended tradespeople for the renovations we needed We have never experienced such professionalism in England We do not hesitate in awarding Alexandra a five star rating being the highest possible

Dream Homes has provided excellent support in selling our home We have known Alex for over fifteen years while living and working in Gran Canaria. We have seen Dream Homes grow into a successful real estate business that effectively sells properties for clients by linking prospective buyers. We had no hesitation in selecting Dream Homes to sell our home when we returned to the UK. The property description and photos were very professional and led to serious interest from interested individuals. Alex and Nicola gave us good advice about potential buyers, and eventually we found genuine buyers. Good support for sellers and purchasers from a professional company that is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

Alex and Nicola made buying a house abroad a very smooth process guiding us throughout with such professionalism. This was our first purchase abroad which obviously comes with some hesitation and additional worry but Alex and Nicola were always on hand to reassure or help us. The legal services etc they recommended were all very professional and friendly people just like Alex and Nicola themselves. These ladies really know what they are doing and would highly recommend using Centuary 21 for an excellent and stress free purchase.
Nicky M — Google review
I cannot rate Dream Homes highly enough. When I met Alex, I was instantly struck by her wealth of knowledge of the property industry. Not only was she on the ball, but so friendly and quick to respond to any of my questions. Dream Homes dealt with the sale and purchase of my property, always in a highly professional manner. Nicola was also very prompt in handling any help I needed in a diligent manner. Once my sale/purchase was complete, the service did not end and Dream Homes were happy to continue assisting me with organising the power and water supply to my new property. They have always gone above and the service I would have expected, why would you even consider going with any other estate agents?

Canino Maspalomas Park, also known as Parque del Sur, is a free urban park that offers various amenities for visitors. It features an entertainment area for children, a climbing wall, and an esplanade for events. The park has restrooms and a small lake with water and aquatic animals like ducks and frogs. With large trees providing ample shade throughout the park, it offers natural grass areas that are irrigated daily.
(Translated by Google) The park is pretty good. It has many things for dogs to play and it is spacious. The bad thing is that it has some owner who thinks it is a place for the dog to shit without having to pick it up, and that it has trash cans. There is also less space nearby to park, if you come by car. Otherwise it is recommended, especially because it has sunny areas and shady areas under the trees. It's a little hidden, but now with the location on the map it's easier to find.

Palmitos Park is a must-visit attraction on Gran Canaria, offering a diverse range of experiences for the whole family. The park is divided into five areas: Birds, The Garden, Aquarium, Reptiles, and Mammals. Visitors can explore the Cage of Lories to see colorful birds from around the world and the House of Butterflies, which boasts being the largest in Europe.
Wonderfull place to visit. There are mostly smaller animals here to see, but at least as wonderfull is the flora, gorgeous flowers, plants and trees. They have exciting and interesting shows and you can spend at least five to six hours here in bewonderment! Step away one day from the beach and you won’t regret it!
Ray A — Google review
We visited today, had prebooked the bus with the tickets, we went from Puerto rico & public bus takes over an hour because of all the stops, obviously cheaper, but the coach we went on only took about 35- 40 mins, dropped off at aqua park first. It is quite a leg stretch to cover all the park, but so worth it, I would say if you like birds then time it to see the exotic bird display first, then stay there for birds of prey straight after, we didn't (even though we had a photo of the times) it just didn't register, because it is a fair trek up to the top of the park, the birds of prey fly right out to the mountains & fly around in the cloud, such a wonderful back drop for it. The dolphins were absolutely wonderful, all looked well cared for as do all the animals. There is a lovely little aquarium as well as birds of all sorts, butterfly house, orchid house, reptiles of all sorts, snakes, lizards, crocodile, caiman, there are armadillos. Like anywhere else this is not a cheap option for a drink or snack or cooked food, but it is what it is, you can take water or drink with you, but when it is so hot it gets warm fairly quick. You can have photos taken with the different birds, & the dolphins(€25 for 1 photo,€35 for 2) not sure on the price of the birds. Definitely recommend it for a day out for all ages.
Niki H — Google review
The staff was super professional. We didn't wait in a queue anywhere. Plenty of toilets, a place to eat and the shows they organize are worth watching. Go in the morning and plan for a full day there. There are so many animals we have never seen before and everything was clean and well taken care of.

Such a hidden gem! 🐬💙 We planned a quick visit and ended up spending almost the whole day — so much to see and do! The dolphin show was amazing, the park was super clean, and it’s so easy to find your way around. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! 🌿✨
Kasia S — Google review
We had an amazing time at Palmitos Park! The animal shows and animations were truly fantastic – engaging, well-organized, and perfect for both kids and adults. We spent a wonderful and valuable day together as a family, surrounded by nature and incredible animals. You can feel the love and care put into the place. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the photos taken during the experience – it would be great to have clearer, higher-resolution memories from such a beautiful day. Still, 100% recommend it – we’ll definitely come back!
LB — Google review
Absolutely brilliant to see animals that actually look happy in a zoo all the pens are a reasonable size and its great that you can walk through and interact with some of the animals and even feed some e.g exotic birds. The live shows were well coordinated and informative definitely recommend
Shaun E — Google review
Had a great time. Obviously the dolphins were a must see, lots of fun and very well choreographed. And the free flying bird display was very good, never got on with the idea of birds being cooped up in cages but here thay get to fly free three times a day. Seeing a flock of macaws flying around the mountain side was a beautiful experience.lots of other things to see and do and animals generally look well cared for.like all zoos food and drink over priced but can't be cheap place to run so let them off that and set in great location.
Paul R — Google review
Next level especially the dolphin show just WOW! Beautiful scenery, cactus garden and interactive shows/enclosures. We fed the Emus for €2 but I would avoid with children because they were quite sharp on the hands but hilarious experience. The birds were lovely, photo opportunity’s and little stands around to grab a snack/drink. Easy bus to get there and taxi rank with lots of taxis outside to get home easier if the bus doesn’t arrive.

Dunas de Maspalomas is a 998-acre arid coastal nature reserve featuring desert-like sand dunes. Classified as a Protected Natural Site in 1944, these golden sand mountains extend for almost six kilometers and can reach heights of almost 25 meters. Despite being a popular location, the area offers incredible scenery and tranquility. It's recommended to visit at sunrise for a quieter and peaceful experience due to its popularity among tourists.
Pretty easy access on foot, a bit of a struggle to find parking. Breathtaking views, especially at sunset. Walking barefoot is an amazing experience, and a MUST! Great ice cream near by. Good destination for a family trip or just by yourself.
Diana B — Google review
The Maspalomas Dunes are definitely a must see when visiting Gran Canaria. The landscape is unique and gives you the feeling of being in a desert right next to the ocean. Sunset is probably the best time to visit, as the light and colors over the dunes are stunning, but it is also worth experiencing during the day. Walking across the dunes down to the beach is a great activity and allows you to enjoy both the views and the natural surroundings. It’s a good idea to bring water and comfortable shoes, as the sand can get hot and the walk can be longer than expected.
Lina — Google review
One of the most unique spots on the island. Suitable for all age groups. Breathtaking sunset views from the dune ridges. Sunset (in October) was between 6 and 7 Highly recommend taking a stroll down the beach to the light house. The sun sets right behind it with spectacular views

Amazing place... Other wolrly dunes , behind a long beach.. . There's a mix of naturist and clothed visitors, but nobody seems to care and it works well.. you could wonder for hours either clothed or not.. .. the dunes themselves are quite difficult to walk through, especially when it's hot, so make sure you take plenty of water...
Jamie T — Google review
Incredibly beautiful but beware if you go w a tour. We were given just 10-15 min and that's not even enough to go to the toilet as there is only one female cubicle for the public loo. There are no souvenir shops and many ppl are illegally running around the dunes, which is irritating. Go when its overcast otherwise this is too hot and only one cafe to sit down. No parking. There is literally nothing to buy or enjoy here other than to walk the three designated routes.
L J — Google review
A challenging walk throughout the warm sandy hills. Worth walking along the beach which can be much easier and approx 3miles stretch. However, be aware as will come across a nudist section which is right in the middle of the beach. During a windy time sand is everywhere and big waves 🌊 in presence.
H A — Google review
This is a beautiful protected area. It really did surprise me how large the area is. It was a shame to see the human ‘effect’ of tampering on some of the dunes with hand written names - it did take away from the experience. There are signs that suggest you shouldn’t walk along the dune tops to preserve the dunes, from the beachside however you can access the dunes and be respectable to the areas by walking alongside the dunes rather than over them.
Danielle A — Google review
A small desert on an island — such an amazing place! There are several beaches nearby and plenty of spots to eat or grab a quick snack, something for every taste. The sunsets and sunrises are absolutely beautiful. If you go on a sunny day, especially when the sun is high, make sure to wear something on your feet so the sand doesn’t burn, cover your head, and take some water with you!

Parque Tony Gallardo is a small botanical garden in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria. It's open from 10:00 to 14:00, Tuesday to Saturday and offers free entry. The park features a variety of native plants and trees, as well as bird species, insects, frogs, and Canaria lizards. Visitors can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and learn about the different species through informative boards scattered around the garden. The park is wheelchair accessible and provides clean restroom facilities.
Lovely environment for walking through and seeing the wildlife, flora and fauna. Really peaceful and you can take as much time as you like with plenty of benches to pause during the walk around. Would recommend visiting if planning to be in the area rather than going significantly out of your way for a visit. Free entry.

We passed the park regularly on our walk to Maspalomas but it never seemed to be open. It was only later in the week that we found the entrance and realised that it closes after lunch and is only open certain days (see photos for details) Would have loved to have had look inside as I am sure it would have been very enjoyable.

It is a big park and the entrance is free. Different types of plants of this area and birds with sufficient information. It is a friendly and family environment, and if you need peace, it is the right place to relax. They have tried to make a kind of river there, the water is not very clear, but it is interesting in this dry environment.

Interesting nature reserve garden. Walking down to Maspalomas happened upon this garden. It's free to enter but only open in the mornings at the moment. We heard lots of parrots and frogs and enjoyed a walk round. Some things are labelled so you know what the plant or tree is. There are toilets here and various boards that give information about Tony Gallardo and what species are found in the garden. It's fairly level for people with reduced mobility to get around.
