The Museum of Miniature is a unique and fascinating place to visit, featuring an array of tiny objects that are sure to captivate visitors. While it may be known for its Russian nesting dolls, the museum also showcases microscopic art on rice grains and even within needles. Visitors can marvel at the incredible level of detail in these minuscule creations, as well as painted bottles and handcrafted boxes. The museum offers a one-of-a-kind experience, making it well worth the price of admission.
A great little museum full of nesting dolls, icons, lacquer boxes, and microscopic art on rice or in needles. Many from a well known Ukrainian artist. We went in August, high tourist season but no wait. A lovely quaint town as well, a nice respite from the crowds of Andorra la Vella.
Catherine D — Google review
A bit of a random museum; miniature art combined with painted bottles, handcrafted boxes and matryoshka dolls. It is small but interesting, especially the miniature art. The lady giving me a short tour was very enthusiastic and nice.
Jeanine — Google review
Lots of stuff from the Russia/Ukraine area. Many of the items aren't miniature, but the work that went into them is particularly fine. The lady running the place doesn't speak much English, but we got by with some slow and simple French.
Emily B — Google review
A very interesting museum. The first of its kind I've every visited. It might be the only one of its kind..? Well worth the entry ticket. I found all the objects on display very fascinating. Especially the miniscule/microscopic items. They should've called it the microscopic museum, because when say 'miniature museum', I thought it was going to be a museum of miniature models of buildings or stuff like that.😬
Justine L — Google review
We went here with the car club and it isn't just Russian Dolls but also tiny engravings on pips and grains of rice etc that you look at through a microscope. The detail is truly unbelievable. There are also small bottle painted on the inside and a video to see how it is done again quite incredible. It's a unique place to visit.
Trisha K — Google review
The microminiatures are really fascinating. They have a few other exhibits with Russian dolls and a Chinese artist that paints the inside of little bottles. Cool stuff and worth the 5 euro entry just to see the microminiatures.
Raymond C — Google review
Amazing museum!!! A must go to if you are in Andorra. Also the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.
Yolanda C — Google review
Without a doubt the coolest part of the museum for me was the really miniature creations that could only really be seen through the microscope, as seen in my pictures!

TOPIC Restaurant in Ordino is a culinary gem located in the beautiful village of Arinsal in Andorra. It is part of the grand hotel Palome and offers an innovative take on classic dishes that are well planned, executed, and presented. The venue provides a nice and quiet atmosphere with professional and efficient staff. The food is excellent, beautifully done, and served in good portions. Additionally, the restaurant's location offers stunning views of the mountains and afternoon sun.
Nice café with cozy outside seating possibilities on the main centre street, really enjoyable with great weather! I can only recommend the crepes with chocolate, those are really tasty as well as the ice cream they serve :p
Isaac — Google review
Nicely located in the little town of Ordino, with views into the mountains and afternoon sun. Food was really good. Table next to us had waited for more than 1 hour. We were lucky with “only” 25 min waiting time (but we got there 15 min prior closure time).
David Z — Google review
Nice restaurant, one of the few options in Ordino, we were a big group of 10 people and felt really lucky that they managed to make a table for us without resertlvation. That is why the long wait for the food didn't bother us, especially after we liked almost everything that we tried.
Лъчезар А — Google review
At TOPIC in Ordino, their lasagna is so divine, it's got my microwave sulking in a corner, questioning its life choices. Here I am, a self-proclaimed Michelin star chef in my own kitchen, where the only stars I've seen are from burning the toast. Yet, this dish makes my culinary escapades look like child's play. And as the fake ambassador of Ordino, I've somehow convinced myself that my endorsement is what they've been waiting for. In reality, it's their flavors that have truly endorsed my taste buds for a journey I never knew they needed
Illia K — Google review
That really was awful! The salad with Foie gras was terrible. Big pieces of tasteless tomato, big pieces of kale, leaves with long stems. Don’t recommend at all. Even didn’t finish it! The pizza calzone had taste of tomato sauce and the rest of ingredients we even couldn’t taste, coz it had too much tomato sauce!
Алина Г — Google review
Ribeye steak (75€) had a strange smell. I didn’t like the taste, despite the fact that I’m a big fan of meat. The salad was old and the fries tasted like old oil.
Maria V — Google review
Really nice place. Good selection of food and drinks. Lovely seating area outside.
Alan R — Google review
At first, I thought it was just a mistake — but based on the reviews I’ve read here, it clearly wasn’t. I ordered a dish that costs €27, but they brought me one that costs €75. I believe this was done on purpose. Either way, it’s really poor service.

The Casa d'Areny-Plandolit is a museum that was constructed in 1633 and currently showcases opulent furnishings and luxury products from the 19th century. The establishment also features exhibits on local history, including landscapes of the Pirennes mountains. Despite its fascinating story, visitors cannot take pictures due to an old-fashioned policy. Nevertheless, this museum comes highly recommended for those interested in learning about the region's past.
Really interesting museum. Very informative audio guide and amazing hologram presentation. Touching family story and a lot of information about history and governance of Andorra. Well worth visiting!
Polina — Google review
I thought it was a little pricey for seven euro, but the house is huge and well worth it. It includes an audio guide too. And a movie if you wanna watch it at the end.
G M — Google review
Casa d'Areny-Plandolit is a must when visiting Andorra! It's a great way to see a traditional Andorran house, but one lived in by a historically important family. The audio guide is a great way to learn about the house, the Areny-Plandolit family and the history of Andorra! Tickets are €5 or with a PassMuseu €2.50. Highly recommend!
Matthew S — Google review
Enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It's huge, the audioguide is informative, and I learnt a lot about Andorran history.
Emily B — Google review
Before entering the village there is parking in the left so go in the first circle make U turn and u are in the parking
אביאל A — Google review
Very interesting albeit a bit rustic. Even wealthy families did not have that much in Andorra in the 19th century. Nice holographic show.
Stephane M — Google review
Interesting museum! Beautiful rooms, I especially loved the library. The audioguide is informative and not too long.
Jeanine — Google review
Very well put together museum about this prominent and influential family. Lots of original artifacts and furniture, really nicely presented. Free audio guides. Don't miss the hologram presentation! We really enjoyed our visit, we spent just over an hour here and it was enough time to see it all. €7 entry

Església de Sant Corneli i Sant Cebrià is a charming 17th-century parish church located in the picturesque town of Ordino, Andorra. The church, built on the site of an ancient medieval temple, has undergone significant renovations over the centuries. Its interior features a rectangular layout with two side chapels and a quadrangular apse, housing a Romanesque Virgin carving and five baroque altarpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Another "must" from my trip to Andorra is the small town of Ordino. You will surely find the time as the church and the old street occupy no more than 200 metres. The atmosphere is unique.
Лъчезар А — Google review
A small Gothic-style church, quiet and peaceful — we were almost the only visitors there. There’s a little garden with flowers nearby, which adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. It’s not a major landmark, but worth a quick stop if you’re in the area. You’ll only need about five minutes to look around. Entry is free.

Ordino is idyllic, quaint, and charming. I wish I had spent more time exploring smaller towns of Andorra like Ordino instead of staying in Andorra La Vella.

Pizza restaurant
Nestled along the road leading to Canillo, Restaurant-Pizzeria Coll d'Ordino is a charming spot that captures the essence of a cozy family atmosphere. The owners are known for their warm hospitality, making every visit feel like home. Their pizzas are not only massive but also crafted with high-quality local ingredients, ensuring each bite is a delight. Diners rave about the variety on offer, especially those topped with exquisite cheeses and complemented by great Priorat wine at reasonable prices.
Lovely little pizza place with a friendly host. Pizza and salad were both delicious and reasonably priced. Go there.
Eddie F — Google review
We ordered 1 pizza and a bottle of wine. The host said we MUST order 2 pizzas. Didn't realize we could have ordered a pasta instead. Pizza was thin crusted but too cheesy. The interior of the restaurant was FREEZING. Needed to eat with our coat on. Also when we tried to pay with a credit card, host said their machine was broken and we must pay cash. Luckily we had enough but seemed like a scam. If anything else is open, go there

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Mirador Roc Del Quer in Canillo offers a breathtaking experience with its suspended platform featuring glass panels on the floor, providing stunning views of mountain peaks, valleys, and villages. Accessible after a scenic hike from the parking area, this spot is worth the effort for its panoramic vistas. The hike to reach it is relatively basic but requires good fitness due to some rocky slopes and steep sections. There's also a small kiosk/cafe along the way with clean and free restroom facilities.
Stunning viewpoint!! Paranomic views! However, it's a 20+ minutes walk from the car park to the viewpoint itself but the views are totally worth it. There's an entrance fee of 6 euros. I recommend you purchase online as they only take cash at the entrance.

Great view point. A must when visiting Andorra. The drive up to it is amazing and offers a number of opportunities to stop and take a few photos. There is a small cafe and toilets at The Mirador Roc del Quer. Entrance fee is 6 euros per adult. Highly recommended for an inexpensive day out with the family.

Total disappointment. You walk 300 meters from the parking lot just to find out you have to pay 6 euros in cash to access the viewpoint. No sign or warning beforehand. Why not mention it at the parking? Paying 6 euros for a one-minute view would already be annoying — but finding out only at the end makes it worse. Terrible organization.
Максим О — Google review
Tucked into the majestic Andorran Pyrenees, the Mirador Roc del Quer delivers an exhilarating blend of natural grandeur and subtle artistry. Hovering over a 500-meter drop, it's not just a viewpoint—it’s an experience. Architectural Thrill & Scenic Majesty Built in July 2016, this 20‑meter metal walkway extends dramatically into the valley, with 12 meters protruding over the void, offering a stunning sensation of floating above the landscape . Portions of the glass floor intensify the feeling of suspension, though some visitors note the surface shows wear and limits visibility through it . The platform treats you to sweeping panoramas of the Montaup and Valira d’Orient valleys, from Soldeu through to Encamp—views that etch themselves into memory . Art Meets Altitude At the far end of the platform sits a striking bronze sculpture by Miguel Ángel González, known as "The Ponderer." The figure calmly gazes out over the abyss—its serene posture inviting visitors to pause, reflect, and absorb the vast surroundings . Practical Details Access is via CS‑240 road at km 6.5 from Canillo—there’s ample free parking, followed by a 400 m walk (down a gentle slope) to the platform entrance . During summer, a €5 admission fee is required; winter access is often free, though always best to check opening dates before you go . A small café and restrooms are conveniently located near the entrance, making for a comfortable visit . Reviewers rave that the walk up offers breathtaking glimpses even before reaching the platform, and once there, the sheer drop and panoramic vista deliver the highlight of the visit. It’s been described as “a fantastic spot… an unforgettable experience” . Some mention minor downsides: in high season, crowds can accumulate, and the glass panels occasionally appear scratched or foggy—yet the exceptional views more than compensate . Why It's a Must-Visit A unique steel walkway that extends dramatically into the valley sky, offering one of the most thrilling vantage points in the Pyrenees. Infused with artistic presence, as The Ponderer sculpture enhances the emotional resonance of the setting. Accessible yet adventurous—a short walk from the parking area transforms into an elevated spectacle that’s both safe and sensory-rich. Mirador Roc del Quer is more than a lookout—it’s a vivid encounter with altitude, art, and alpine majesty. Whether soaring above green valleys or snow-covered slopes, it offers a rare viewpoint that feels both daring and deeply serene. A perfect destination for nature lovers, photography enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a moment of sublime perspective in Andorra. Just one hour here—and the memory lingers far longer.

Beautiful ski resort with various types of ski slopes. What I was less happy about is the fact that it was not made clear online that in order to access the smaller slopes, you have to drive up farther. We weren't able to make use of these because of this.
Iwan S — Google review
Lovely place, not just for skiing. I am biased as I live a few clicks away. The snow has finally made for good skiing this year. It is the pretty ski resort with the best snow but gets busy very quickly due to its compact nature . Summer time it is one of my many motorbike blast routes as well as hiking & good fishing spots. Photos in a follow-up.

Snow is in good condition considering the weather, 80% of runs open. All runs well marked out, and closed runs obviously closed. Friendly staff. Good food and drink reasonably priced. Free parking. And amazing scenery.
Alistair W — Google review
Very bad experience. We were there for two days in 2nd week of december 2018 first day they started the snow machines for some time. But it was not enough. By noon it was only ice or rocks. On second day they didnot even run the snow machines. For beginners it was worst as it was only ice. There are long que around 40 mins wating at the low level restaurants. It is understandable that if there is no natural snow as ski resort cant do anything but atleast they can inform or give discounts on passes or warn that there is only ice and rocks. Expensive ski gear may broke in these kind of situation.
Pritesh D — Google review
Best ski and boarding resort in all Andorra Family friendly and not too busy. Good food. Good staff always willing to help. New developments over the summer of 2018 will make it even more amazing by the winter this year ❤

Great skiing area easy to get around fantastic for beginners one of our group who had never skied before did the whole mountain on the green slope a great way to build confidence. The restaurants were clean with good options the one half way up the mountain were the gondola is was pretty empty . People were sitting outside enjoying the sun the resort is the highest in Andorra so it can be cold and if the weather gets bad the site can close. We used the free shuttle from La MASSANA booked through the hotel you then close with the driver your pick up time.On the whole well worth the visit a pity I did not discover last year.

Hiking Trails
Casamanya mountain peak is a challenging yet doable hike that has a steep section but no need for climbing. It can be time-consuming, particularly if one starts from Encamp. Nevertheless, the breathtaking views at the summit make it all worthwhile, providing a real sense of accomplishment. This hike is stunning and invigorating with amazing scenery to take in along the way.
A tough but manageable hike, which gets very steep in one section but requires no climbing. A long day out, especially if you set off from Encamp. Exhilarating views once you get to the top which makes it worth while. A real sense of achievement.

It was a long journey for us. We used public transport which is bus and from there we walked from the bus station heading up and we ended the journey to Canillo. It took us 10 hours to finish the journey; our motto at this time was “slowly but surely” 😅. It was a rewarding experienced. Not easy though there’s a part in casamanya that is stiff plus the wind. Needed to have stick for better climb. The way down to canillo was a bit challenging if you already walked far. 😬

(Translated by Google) I climbed it with my wife about 15 years ago. This year, after a temporary lumbar fusion due to an accident, I climbed it again with her, with only two and a half months' recovery time after the procedure. She put me to the test, and I managed to climb it in one go in 1 hour and 36 minutes from the lower Mereig parking lot. Satisfied. About 800 meters of elevation gain, enough for our current level of fitness. The descent was no less demanding.

(Translated by Google) Very nice hike from the Ordino pass. For example: in average physical condition, it took me 2 hours to reach the summit and 1 hour and a half to come down. The climbs are sometimes steep for those who are not used to it, but the view is definitely worth it. Bring good walking shoes, especially for the rocky descent.

(Translated by Google) A tough climb, but the truth is that it is worth it, there are about 2 times that it seems that you arrive but there is a little left, in summer it must be impossible to do it because of the heat, since at the beginning it is forest but 3/4 of the route is open sky.

(Translated by Google) I didn't see myself capable of reaching the top, but I recommend that you erase that thought and move on, because when you arrive, you will see incredible views. My feeling when I sat down when I completed the climb was special, magical, it made me feel powerful, and eager to do another one. When you start the path, you will find a forest, but the last sections are all open mountains, I recommend protection if like me, you go in sunny weather, I went up in the month of May or June. The Pic de Casamanya is 2740m, there is a clearly marked path and sometimes it seems like you haven't arrived, but don't give up, in the end it is a climb that you enjoy, and in various parts of the path, you can stop and regain strength. It is a very beautiful place.

Nestled in the heart of Andorra, the Museu Postal d'Andorra is a charming little gem that offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of postal history. While it may be small in size, this museum boasts an impressive collection of over 50,000 stamps, making it a must-visit for stamp collectors and history enthusiasts alike. Visitors can explore not only the intricate process of stamp creation and printing but also delve into captivating stories from Andorra's postal past.

I don’t know if I can visit separately… Because both museums are not large, tickets were sold in bundles. Although the space is small, there is a detailed explanation of Andorra's past stamp designs and how the postal service developed. Before turning around, a video explaining the history of Andorra's postal service was played, and I was glad to see a red mailbox that is very familiar to Koreans among the mailboxes from around the world that are used as example images in the video. Scenic spot
A great spot to hike in the summer. Drop your car off at Orcana Arcalis where you have free parking. Then two choices. 1. Lazy ascend via cable car and then ski lift (22€ to go up and down on two installations). You will then need to walk 10min up to the Mirador Tristaina round monument thing. 2. Hiking. Takes 1h15 to get up the first cable car bit, easy to modest level of difficulty. Then you can either continue up to the monument which is 1h30 more and moderate to hard difficulty. Or you can go check out the 3 lakes which takes between 30min and 2h depending on how many lakes you want to see. You can always get the ski lift midway up or down but it will cost you €20. Lovely views all around and you have a restaurant at the midpoint after the first cable car or the first 1h15 hike.

Tristaina Solar Viewpoint You can't miss in Ordino Arcalís the viewpoint–sundial located on the peak of Peyreguils, at an altitude of 2,701 metres and a few metres from the geographical border between Andorra and France. This peak is part of the Tristaina cirque, along with the Costa Rodona, Tristaina, Creussans, and Cabanyó peaks.

Really great views. We chose to take the cable car and chair lift up. With two little kids, this was perfectly doable but of course very weather dependent. After the chair loft there is still a bit of a hike, probably about 500-700m, so keep that in mind.
Rahul P — Google review
Amazing spot for panoramic views, right at the Western border between Andorra and France. Cabin and chairlift recommended instead of trekking (too heavy a climb in summer). Definitely worth visiting.
