Absolutely fabulous ski town. Top class facilities. Great hospitality transportation. Lovely food, but very expensive if you like a pint!

A lovely ski resort with a cozy, intimate, family-friendly vibe. It’s perfect for a more relaxed and personal experience, away from the crowds. A great place for families and anyone looking for a charming winter getaway!
Amy S — Google review
It's the best place to ski/snowboard, based on that it's a 5 star location. You cannot beat Meribel and The Three Valleys. Note: Not for budget conscious, with prices at the upper end, especially food. Saying that, the food in every restaurant was outstanding.

Amazing ski resort . Stayed at a luxevaca property full white glove service !

Amazing place. Family friendly ❤️ can't wait to visit next year.
Penny C — Google review
Incredible place, beautiful, absolutely stunning. There are all kinds of facilities and lanes (from beginners to experts). The ville is great and there are a lot of stores. In the station you could find expensive and quite cheap restaurants. Prices to enter to the ski lanes are normal. Totally recommend
Andrea R — Google review
Great skiing resort. Excellent choice for any level. Easy transport links. Cute little village with shops/restaurants. Also great for children. Offers various ski schools. Easy to get to the top with a selection of skilifts, cable cars etc. Long slopes with well marked directions. Fun centres throughout. Good for beginners too. Beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend

Restaurant d'altitude La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel is a popular dining spot located on the Rhodos slope in the heart of the mountain. It offers a unique, trendy, and modern dining experience. The restaurant has received positive reviews for its ambiance and delicious food. Visitors can enjoy a variety of French and European dishes while taking in stunning views of the surrounding area.
There are many great restaurants in Courchevel, but what truly sets La Folie Douce apart is its exceptional entertainment programs. It's the perfect spot for a lively lunch if you're skiing in the Méribel area and want to enjoy great food with a vibrant party atmosphere. A must-visit for those seeking both fun and flavor on the slopes!
TS — Google review
Cool place with nice energy and show!! Beautiful view over the mountains! Great cocktails! My burger was so so but the fish and chicken dish was very delicious.
Food G — Google review
This is a simply awesome place, so this review will be short. Directly on the ski slopes, it is a true 'folie': great food, entertainment, and ambience... Fancy dancing on the tables? Big yes! Service is fast. Waiters are friendly and responsive. Food is gooooood. Drinks also. A must do while in Maribel or Courchevel...access from Courchevel is a bit more complicated need to change three telecabines but the mountain views make it a worthy trip. Super easy access from Meribel, one short telecabin trip. Don't think twice if you are looking for a nice daylight party place while taking a break from skiing.
Maroun Y — Google review
I've been following all the La Folie Douce branches on social media for a few months now and wanted to visit for my 50th birthday. We tried to book VIP online before we came out but had zero response. We managed to book La Frutiere for the first day of our holiday to check it out. As there were only 2 of us, we got stuck far away right in a corner where it was difficult to see the show. Before we left, we booked again for my actual 50th birthday day and specifically told the staff who made a note in the booking and we asked for a better table, closer to the action. When we arrived, we were given the very next table to the one we had previously, tucked away in the corner. We noticed other folk celebrating birthdays were getting staff clapping and holding a board with sparklers saying 'happy birthday' but I got absolutely nothing, despite pointing it out to them on my t-shirt. This place is over priced for what it is, the food is average at best, and they only care about big groups, not couples. The show was the same both times, so not even any variation either. If you do visit, don't waste your money on the over priced food in the restaurant, just stay in the bar side for drinks instead, it's more fun and involved than sitting in the corner of the restaurant.
Ell G — Google review
Didn't expect to have so much fun!!!! Awesome apreski party!!! We had a reservation at 12:30 pm at the Fruitiere restaurant. They have two seatings, 12:30 and 2:30. So, we had to leave the table by 2:30. We ate and went to the bar side. Up on the top side facing the stage, there is a VIP section. In the VIP, there is no minimum to spend, but there is a minimum to drink. FYI, it's not a cheap selection. So, having lunch and drinks is a better choice, in my opinion. However, it is still not cheap. It all depends on how much you want or can spend. VIP or restaurant reservations are necessary, but not if you want to party. You can show up and still have fun. Gets really busy by 2pm. We stayed in Courchevel 1850, so very useful information for the reader! In case you drink too much!!!You can get there by foot, I mean without skiing, by just taking a few lifts. So from Courchevel 1850, take VERDONS, then walk to SAULIRE, on the top take SAULIRE EXPRESS 2. Get off mid stop at the Folie Douce. Short walk down, and it's there. Going back is the same. Just walk up to the lift, little tougher in ski boots and skis, but manageable. From Meribel, just up and down on SAULIRE EXPRESS 1. You can always ski down if you feel up to it. It's good to have sunglasses if sunny outside. Have fun!
Povilas M — Google review
Amazing place. Family friendly too. The best apres bar show you will ever go to.
Penny C — Google review
Amazing show, it was so fun! I recommend reserving a table for 14:00, not earlier, If you want to have fun. Food wasn’t amazing, it was good but nothing special. But that is fine because you come here for the entertainment and experience. Service could be a bit better, sometimes it took a while to get the attention of a server.
Maria N — Google review
Insane! The Ski Apres spot in the region. Always wanted to go! This is the one on Meribel. There’s another on the Val Thorens. Pricey but a must do. Live performances and DJ/Electronics music in the late afternoon. Went there twice 🕺🏼

Les 3 Vallées is a renowned ski area consisting of three valleys with a total of 169 lifts, numerous lodges, and restaurants. Private ski lessons can be arranged through the ESF ski school. Accommodations in the area cater to various budgets and group sizes. The expansive ski area offers around 600km of diverse tracks with minimal wait times at the lifts. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views and excellent dining options, although prices may be on the higher side.
My favorite European skiing! After traveling to many different resorts across the alps, I think I can certainly say that the three valleys is the best of every world. It is certainly big enough to not get bored at even if you’re there for a week with tons of different areas of the mountain that you feel like you have to yourself. The views are also incredible! I would highly recommend.
Cale O — Google review
Beautiful Slopes. Easy access to lifts and the town from the slopes. Honestly breathtaking views from the top, great for improvers, with a mixture of easy and harder slopes. Make sure you have Half board or a fat wallet for food.
Amaar V — Google review
It was my first time skiing after a few years and I’ve never had quite an experience like this one. If you are a first timer in this type of huge ski resorts you are going to feel amazed by both the size and the services they provide. I stayed there for a week and I would’ve stayed for a month. In my case VT. The offer really good connections between the three valleys and really different types of slope whether you’re a beginner or a pro. You’ll definitely have a nice time both during the day and at the apre ski.
Álvaro — Google review
It's very hard to criticise the 3 valleys ski area. It's huge, varied, quite stunning and very well run. At busy times the queues can get long, especially down in Meribel which is the middle of the the valleys. But the lift system copes pretty well, and of course nowhere else is immune to such issues. Well worth a visit at least once in your skiing career.
James G — Google review
A Skier’s Paradise Les 3 Vallées is simply phenomenal. With an extensive network of long, beautifully groomed slopes, it offers an unparalleled skiing experience. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you'll find runs that cater to every skill level, all while enjoying breathtaking alpine scenery. The infrastructure is top-notch, ensuring smooth connections between resorts and minimal waiting times. The snow conditions are excellent, and the variety of terrain keeps every day exciting. Honestly, only truly evil people could say anything bad about this ski resort. If you love skiing, Les 3 Vallées is a must-visit destination!
Milan K — Google review
The best large, linked-up, ski area in France. VT is high so it guarantees good snow throughout a extended ski season. Great bars, restaurants, and other facilities. Very family friendly resort for skiing and other activities. Been many times as a uni student and now a parent, will be back again for sure
Andrew M — Google review
The whole ski area is very good. The tracks were amazing and there was very little or no wait time on the ski lifts. There are a lot of different ski tracks around 600km to be exact. I skied for three days and in the three days I skied a total of 140km which is a lot. I would recommend this place for anyone who likes skiing. The view is amazing everywhere you go and you can find amazing restaurants anywhere. The prices are a bit overpriced everywhere, but I think its worth visiting atsleast one time. We stayed in Courchevel 1650. Which is on the far left side of the three valleys. But you can still easily reach the surrounding valleys.
Kaszaics — Google review
Amazing place for ski (75% ppl) and snowboarding (25% ppl). All the valley were great, it’s easy to get any place with cabin, there are plenty roads and places with food on the top. The only thing I didn’t like sometimes it didn’t look like they fixed snow cover over night.

My kids of 9 and 11 years old did this tobogganing run. I specifically asked before buying tickets if they could do it by themselves - the answer was “yes, they are tall enough”. I emphasised that they had never done it before and again the employee said it was totally fine. It went horribly wrong with the 9 years old flown out of a corner, underneath the nets, and dangling above a big drop down into dark forest. The 11 year old had to help her sister as her foot was stuck under the straps (wearing skiboots which we also asked if that was safe or better with snow boots). The older sister had to climb under the net to undo the strap while holding the toboggan with her sister to avoid it smashing down the embankment. It was a very traumatising experience. We went to the counter again and explained what happened. They took my number so the manager could contact me…. But he never bothered to do so….

17Société des Trois Vallées - S3V

Ski resort
Société Des Trois Vallées S3V, the company managing ski passes and lifts in Courchevel, is known for its friendly and helpful staff who are fluent in multiple languages. Visitors appreciate the warm welcome and assistance they receive, especially when dealing with lost tickets or navigating the busy lift ticket office. While skiing in the area is praised, some mention that ski passes can be expensive, but group discounts are available.
Just good to be here
Gu K — Google review
Staff can be hit or miss, sometimes grumpy AF sometimes very pleasant. It can be absolutely rammed and take forever to get your lift pass so I'd recommend going late in the day before 6 pm to avoid queues. If you have just arrived in town and are skiing the next day get it then
Wayne R — Google review
Even the most experienced visitor to Courchevel find themselves clueless about directions, hotels, restaurants, ski passes, or just about anything else at some point during their visit. The folk here are friendly, welcoming and can convert in many native tongues. In some other resorts there is a distinct feeling that visitors are just about tolerated but not so in Courchevel where they clearly understand the value that tourism brings.
Mark W — Google review
The staffs were very helpful and kind when I asked for the replacement of my family's lost tickets.
Takeshi W — Google review
Friendly and helpful staff. Decent discount if you are in a group but must buy together
Lee H — Google review
Good skiing here. Ski passes can be pricey though. Discounts for groups are available...
Alaistair J — Google review
Lift ticket office. Can be very busy first thing; get ski pass afternoon before if possible.
Eric D — Google review
Skiing is great in this area. It is always very crowded in Val Thorens though.
