Sights & Landmarks
Historical landmark
Perched on a hill overlooking the village, the Venetian Castle of Parga dates back to the 11th century and offers stunning sea views. Originally built by the Normans in the late 14th century, it was reconstructed in the 16th century and later fortified under Turkish rule. Visitors can explore historical inscriptions, emblems of Ali Pasha, and a secret pathway to the sea.
This is definitely worth the walk. The views from the castle are spectacular. Although the walk around some of the castles paths are a little rocky and uneven to say the least, given good footwear and take your time and care they are worth the effort. The walk from Parga is in itself an uphill effort, with lots of little shops and places to eat and drink on the way. And the best but is it's free to explore.
Tom S — Google review
There is parking nearby. The castle is open till 9pm in the summer, there is no entrance fee. Once you are there you can enjoy a mesmerizing view. There is no option for walking to the top with a stroller but you can reach the first level from where you can still enjoy a great view.
Bilyana M — Google review
Very interesting place to wander for an hour or two. Some impressive remains and, aside from some areas taped off for safety, pretty much allowed to explore everywhere. Would be good to see some info plaques around, but wiki will give you the history of the place. I didn’t visit the shop or museum so can’t comment on either
John B — Google review
The Venetian Castle of Parga is a must-visit! The walk up is a bit steep, but once you reach the top you’re rewarded with stunning panoramic views over Parga, the bay, and the Ionian Sea. The ruins themselves are fascinating to wander through, with plenty of little pathways and hidden corners full of history. There are also cafés inside where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. A perfect mix of history, views, and atmosphere – definitely worth the climb!
Sofie S — Google review
Everytime I walk into an old church, castle or big ruin I start thinking ”how the heck did they build this hundreds years back in time. The same question now. This is an old ruin that was built to protect Parga from invasion. From land and see. There are a lot of dark rooms and passages all over. A nice view to both side of Parga and the see. In the middle of the ruin you can find a restaurant. Didn’t try that today. Interested hour spent there.
Fredrik S — Google review
The castle is in the city center. It's fascinating to see the cannons that defended Parga centuries ago. There are some excellent photo opportunities from the top. You can see the beach and the island clearly. However, I found the castle to be in disrepair.
Alper Ö — Google review
The fort is a fascinating reminder of Parga’s strategic position between empires during far more turbulent times in history. It’s a pity that only the ruins remain and that there is no museum to provide more context. Still, it’s well worth a visit – not least for the spectacular views it offers over the surrounding area.
Asgeir D — Google review
The castle itself is not a great condition, but its worth visiting for the great views! It is free to enter and there is a nice caffe there.

Valtos Beach is a stunning destination in Parga, offering a picturesque setting for beach lovers. The beach boasts a long stretch of sandy shoreline with numerous beach bars and parasols, making it an ideal spot for swimming and water sports. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, the area provides a tranquil atmosphere with beautiful views of clear, transparent waters.
Valtos Beach is one of the best beaches in Parga! The waters are crystal clear, perfect for swimming and relaxing, and the beach stretches long enough to never feel overcrowded. It is very well organized, with plenty of sunbeds, beach bars, and excellent facilities. For those who enjoy fun activities, there are also water sports and aqua games that add to the experience. A truly beautiful spot combining relaxation and entertainment – highly recommended!
Kostas V — Google review
As you can see in the attached pictures, a fairly large beach with many sun loungers for those who want to sit on their "towels", the place dedicated to them is at the end of each side of the beach, different from, for example: Kefalonia where you could find places for towels on a much larger area. The price for a set of sun loungers starts from €25 in the first rows/€20 in the second row & €15 the rest. There is parking. There are bars and restaurants related to each beach sector. It was not to my taste, very crowded but tastes are not discussed.

Very nice beach to pass the day and enjoy the vacation. The water is fine but elsewhere the water of the beach is clearer. Lots of bars and restaurants around. 20 eur for the transats for the day.

Unforgettable experience at Valtos Beach Valtos Beach is a beautiful complex located right on Valtos Beach, offering a hotel, restaurant, and a private beach area. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to combine relaxation with top-notch food and service. The food is incredibly delicious – every dish is prepared with care and fresh ingredients. Words can’t truly describe the atmosphere here – it’s something you simply have to experience for yourself. If you’re visiting Parga, Valtos Beach is a must for both gastronomy and relaxation. A perfect choice in every sense.

Beautiful large beach with soft sand on the north side and small rounded pebles on the south side. Water is crystal clear and has a beautiful turquoise collor near the beach. There are plenty of caffes with sun beds for rent and there are also a lot of free zones.

Nice beach with different prices for sun loungers. Good service from the staff who have the sun loungers, serving both food, drinks etc. to the sun loungers

Immerse yourself in the rich history of olive oil production at Paragaea Old Olive Oil Factory. Take a guided tour through the charming old-world factory, where you'll witness the modern methods of olive oil production and learn about every step of the process. From the olive groves to your bottle, experience the entire journey in a captivating short film. Indulge in an olive oil tasting session and expand your palate with different varieties.
Not to be missed visit of the former factory cum museum which is in its original state so that you can understand the whole process of making oil from local olives the traditional way. The explanations provided are precious to understand why this production was so vital to Parga over hundreds of years and had to be stopped in 1974. Olive oil tasting is delicious and enlightening because you can sense the difference between younger, more mature, or flavored oils, all produced the traditional way. Brilliantly presented by lovely, knowledgeable ladies. Highly recommended to everyone with a curious palate. Entrance 5€ for an hour-long visit + tasting
Cécile E — Google review
Fantastic tour of the smallest museum. The guide was super good and dedicated— We became familiar with the traditional method of olive oil production. The guided tasting gave us a clear understanding of the differences between olive oil types. It's a must-try 🙂
OverLord P — Google review
The olive oil tasting was great. The oils were very good, with an explanation of what makes a good oil. The tour of the old factory, and explanation of how everything worked was very interesting. Can highly recommend a visit.
Phil P — Google review
I highly recommend a visit! The factory is very interesting, it's cool inside, which is very good in the heat. We watched a film about the collection and production of olive oil, tasted it, and also bought something as a souvenir. I was quite satisfied with the tour.
Nataliia S — Google review
Excellent visit to this wonderful olive oil factory lovely family run business very informative. Will definitely go again.
Janice W — Google review
Fascinating tour with an excellent guide who also led a brilliant olive oil tasting. We bought two bottles to take home! What an undiscovered gem!
Nathan W — Google review
We spent a lovely afternoon checking out the olive oil museum, which is on the site of a former family-run olive oil factory. We learned a huge amount about how to taste and identify quality olive oil during the tasting, which was included in our ticket (€5 each!). The team there were super friendly and engaging, and were experts when it came to olive oil and its relationship to the Parga area. We bought some orange flavoured olive oil in the shop afterwards, which was absolutely delicious. Hugely recommended if you have chance to pop in!
Elijah J — Google review
Very informative and I loved the Extra olive oil tasting. I bought some oil to take home and received a 10% off at their restaurant in the hour our.

Krioneri Beach is a beautiful coastal spot in Anthousa village, just 1.6 miles from Parga. The beach features a mix of sand and gravel, with some stones in the water requiring water shoes for comfortable access. Along the waterfront, visitors can find bars and taverns to enjoy refreshments and local cuisine. Additionally, there are sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent at a reasonable price.
Krioneri Beach is a true gem right in the heart of Parga. 🏖️ The water is crystal clear and inviting, perfect for a refreshing swim or a bit of snorkeling. The small island just across from the shore adds a magical touch — you can even swim out to it if you’re feeling adventurous. 🌊 The beach is well‑organized with sunbeds and umbrellas available (usually around €15–20 for a set), and there are plenty of cafés and tavernas nearby for a coffee or a meal. 🍴 The location couldn’t be more convenient — just steps away from the town center, making it easy to combine a beach day with exploring Parga’s charming streets. 🗺️ It can get crowded during peak hours, so arriving earlier in the morning is the best way to enjoy the calm and beauty. 🌅 Overall, Krioneri Beach offers the perfect mix of natural beauty, convenience, and atmosphere — a must‑visit when in Parga. ✨
Zlatko S — Google review
Sand on the beach.Perfect view, but very very overcrowded and dirty.... we could see fags on the sand. There is no control for pets and we had to witness an awful view of a dog shitting on the sand ..it was disgusting 🫣 also 90% of the sun-beds are reserved and there are no labels for it. Would definitely not recommend to be paid attention tonight to the beach, because the virw is magnificent.
Ultra B — Google review
The main beach in Prague is very crowded, for those who want to sit on their own towels, the space dedicated to them is at the ends of the beach and is very small.
Il _ — Google review
The sea is beautiful, with a fairytale view of Panagia Island and its little church, which you can easily swim to. However, it does get very crowded, and there’s quite a bit of noise from the busy road above. Some people might enjoy that, but it’s definitely not my type of beach. There are many better options in the area. For those who like having everything close by or don’t have a car to reach more remote beaches, it will do the job. Sunbeds were €15 in August 2025.
Dorde L — Google review
Beautiful beach, clear water and you can swim to the nearby island. A bit crowdy. I didn’t like paid sets, because they are really close to each others. I was on my own towel and umbrella, but I had to come early in the morning before 10am.
Zeljko M — Google review
Very nice beach of the city center. You must go early (before 9 o'clock) to take a nice spot.
Valon M — Google review
Gorgeous beach. Crowded but still enjoyable. Small island really close. Just several minutes of swimming. Must visit. I will be back

Greek restaurant
Sakis is a charming restaurant located near Pargas Venetian Castle, offering classic whitewashed architecture with gingham tablecloths and blue shutters. The menu features prawn saganaki, chicken breast with homemade chips, and grandma's lamb served with rice and potatoes. While the sea food platter received mixed reviews for overcooked octopus and juicy swordfish, the overall dining experience was pleasant with fresh seafood and excellent service.
We had no reservation, so we had to wait and it worth it. We had the 2 person fish dish, which comes with grilled vegetables and everything was well cooked and very tasty. It was big enough for two people. While waiting, we received ouzo from the house. We also received some garlic bread.
Cristina M — Google review
Taverna Sakis is a traditional Greek tavern that everyone seems eager to visit. Personally, I wouldn’t call it that exclusive. The food is good, though the calamari were a bit tough and over-fried, while the octopus was nicely cleaned and tender. The sea-view tables are probably lovely, but since we were with a baby and stroller, we were told they wouldn’t be convenient for us. Service was very good – fast and friendly. Make sure to book a table in advance, and don’t be late – they only hold reservations for about 10 minutes.
Violeta M — Google review
It's late October and not many places still open, but this little gem is open. So the staff are brilliant the venue is spectacular with views above the bay and sunset, next the Greek food is absolutely delicious. I had the stifado, probably one of my favorites and my wife had the Souvlaki which also was bostin . Definitely recommend this place to stop off and eat.
Carl P — Google review
We visited this restaurant specifically for the seafood, and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent — fresh and well-prepared. Despite being very busy in the evening, the service was impressively professional and attentive. The view from the restaurant is also beautiful, which added to the overall experience. We had made a reservation the day before, which we’d definitely recommend, as the place gets quite full. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality seafood in a great setting!
Elitsa A — Google review
Perfection, we are coming here for the last 3 years. Every time it is perfect. Food is tasty, portions are normal, service is awesome. There is usually a line so you have to wait a bit (5-10min) but they will offer you complementary drinks😊
Branislava V — Google review
We went here twice because the menu offers a good variety of dishes. Highly recommend getting the meze, either from starters or main dishes. I would say that their tzatziki is one of the better ones, so you kinda need to order an extra to dip in. Their weaker food was actully moussaka and pastitisio, it needed a bit more seasoning and was lacking some creaminess. So the food overall was a 4/5, though the restaurant as a whole considering the location and the friendly staff who served us really quickly both days it deserves a 5/5. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Parga.
Christian — Google review
We were recommended sakis by everyone, and the starters were outstanding, the prawn saganaki and stuffed vine leaves were divine. Unfortunately the mains let it down, the mousaka was tasteless and the lamb chops were ok. Perhaps the downfall is that they are so busy that their focus is no longer the food and just getting everything served. The service was fantastic although I think they forgot our bread and water.
Bree W — Google review
Wow, we are so impressed by the amazing experience at Sakis restaurant. The view, the food, the wonderful employees. We had to make a reservation upfront and were so happy we did because so many people were standing outside waiting for a table to come free. We got a table at a romantic spot overlooking the Valtos beach. I ordered cooked beef and it was simply melting in my mouth! Rice usually doesnt come with it, but the employees were kind enough to add a bit for me. My boyfriend loved the mixed grill he had! 🤤 We will definitely be back in a few days! Efharisto poli!

Restaurant
Bacchos is a family-friendly restaurant in Parga that offers traditional and vegetarian Greek options. The portions are generous, making it worth the money. The taverna-style decor creates an open and inviting atmosphere popular with locals. Despite being busy, the staff greets guests warmly and provides entertainment like sirtaki dancing. The service is fast, and the staff is friendly, although there might be a wait for a table during weekends.
A true greek experience which everyone must try. The taverna is ran by a family which is very friendly and cooks nice. The food is extra good, fresh and very but very big portions. Good house wine, beer served from frosted glass everything you need and also good prices. Don’t miss it. I recomend this place with all my heart.
Stefan B — Google review
Great food, but everything else is not a 5. If you want to go for diner you will have to wait a certain amount of time for a table to open because it works by first comes first serve rule. When you do sit down it's a complete rush around you, servers always brush on your chairs because of the small space between tables. The host guy is not pleasant at all, actually he looks like he doesn't want to be there and is not an inviting person. All the other servers are lovely people and they made the experience better 💞
Milica F — Google review
Very cosy and warm place, perfect for dinner time. The only place in Parga where people are waiting to get a table, because it's just so good and you get a table in 3 mins. The staff is more than friendly and welcoming. The portions are enormous and the food is fantastic. We ate there two times and we had a wonderful time. Totally recomend!
La C — Google review
Friendly staff and fantastic food, what more do you need. This restaurant is an amazing place for fresh family cooked Greek food. I would definitely recommend this place as a fantastic place to stop, eat and drink.
Carl P — Google review
Absolutely spectacular. This was our second time eating lunch here and it's hard to put into words how good it is. The marinated anchovies are probably the best I've ever had and the meatballs are amazing. The staff are also extremely friendly and can't do enough for you. Hoping to visit again before our holiday ends.
Karl S — Google review
The best taverna, restaurant, however you want to call it in Parga. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and incredibly kind to every guest, always making sure to say something in your own language, which makes the experience even more special. I won’t go on too much about the food and portion sizes, the fact that we had dinner here 4–5 nights and chose Bacchos again for lunch right before leaving says it all. 🤣 All in all, when visiting Parga, Bacchos should absolutely be at the top of your list. The atmosphere, the people, the food, the service, everything is just perfect. Warm recommendation! Greetings to our ‘brothers’ at Bacchos from your guests from Serbia, we’ll definitely be back again🇷🇸❤️🇬🇷
Sanja 1 — Google review
We ate here twice on our two week holiday and what can I say. The first time having spent the day in Parga we just happened to take a look at the menu and seeing it catered for our party of 8 gave it a try. The staff were excellent treating us like a member of their family, smiling and catering for all our needs, the food was great and we were all happy. The second time we drove 45 minutes from our villa to eat there again. This time being a little later we had to wait 5 minutes for our table as they were very busy, but yet again the service was outstanding, the food came out quickly and was delicious. Whatever you are looking for, fish, meat or traditional Greek cuisine I can guarantee that this restaurant will not disappoint.
Dan J — Google review
Food was great, we ordered two fish dishes and really enjoyed them. I’m giving one star less because during the weekend it was raining a lot, and since the restaurant didn’t cover the sides, our dishes got ruined halfway through.

Beach
Paralia Valtos is a popular beach with a stunning view of a historic castle. Nestled beneath the Venetian castle, this long sandy beach offers clear waters and protection from strong winds. It provides water sports facilities for activities like surfing, water skiing, and diving. The beach has various amenities including sun beds and umbrellas for rent, as well as restaurants offering diverse food options.
A beautiful beach with shingle (beach shoes make getting in and out of the sea much more pleasant on your feet). The sea is clean and crystal clear. There are lots of restaurants/bars with comfortable sun loungers with umbrellas. Most charge between 10-15 euro for the pair of loungers with umbrella. There are water sports options but we just enjoyed the gorgeous surroundings.

The best beach in Parga, offering both organised and non-organised seating — whether you prefer a sunbed and umbrella or just a towel on the sand. Enjoy crystal-clear waters, refreshing cocktails, and a wide variety of food options. There’s free parking available, as well as an Aqua Sports Centre fully equipped with every type of watersports gear for hours of seaside fun. Or, if you prefer something more relaxing, simply grab a bottle of Prosecco and take in the stunning sunset views.

Beautiful beach with crystal blue water. Many beach bars, restaurants, and cafes along the length. Also lots of sun loungers and umbrellas available to rent. We paid €20 euro in the Cactus Beach Bar, this included two sun loungers , 1 umbrella and staff service on the beach. We enjoyed our time here. Would recommend to visit!

Delizie is a popular restaurant in Parga known for its delicious pizzas and great views of the waterfront. The rustic setup and friendly atmosphere make it a charming place to dine. In addition to pizza, the menu offers meats in sauces served with roasted potatoes, dressed salads, beef tagliata, rigatoni chorizo, and mushroom risotto.
It was delicious and incredibly pleasant service. I took Flap steak (Black Angus) and Greek salad - I am delighted. Thank you for the pleasant impressions of Parga and Greece😊

The best meal we’ve had so far in Greece. Delicious food, presented well and served by charming and friendly front of house. We Had the steak, the seam bream fillet and the Arancini. House red was really good too

Excellent food and great service. We were 4 persons and we ordered shrimp gnocchi, shrimp risotto, chorizo pizza and 4 cheeses pizza and everything was delicious. We will definitely love to return here.

The food was amazing. We came back twice , the best food we had on our 1 week in Greece. The stuff is friendly and polite. Really nice place to come.
Alexandra M — Google review
Loved it all! Service was great! We had the best seat in the house looking on the water. The beef carpaccio was sooo delicious! The garlic bread was so soft and fluffy! The sea bream was fresh, and complimented well with the fennel! The shrimp gnocchi sauce was so delicious- would have loved a bit more extra virgin olive oil drizzled on top. The four cheese pizza was tasty but maybe needed a bit more Gorgonzola to round out the flavors but we love strong cheese. Overall would recommend!

Lovely friendly restaurant. Good selection of veggie and vegan items on the menu. Good quality food, served fairly quickly. Location is by the harbour. Lots of other restaurants all together. Good atmosphere. Didn't book, but you might have to at busy times, as it is popular.

Based on the reviews we read, we had higher expectations. Food was OK but nothing that really stays in your mind once you’ve left.

This is a restaurant along the coast which really brings out that Greek feeling. Nice place to sit outside in the evening to enjoy the view and food. Staff are extremely nice and friendly, and the owner is just lovely. We only tried the steak here, and while I first noticed it seemed a bit pricer then the neighbouring restaurants, I can in hindsight say it was because it's way better quality food. Food was great, and they were generally understanding and helpful when it came to food allergies (gluten-free in my case). Can highly recommend!

Hellenikon Traditional Taverna is an authentic Greek restaurant located in a charming courtyard with a traditional Greek theme. The restaurant offers a variety of daily changing local Greek recipes, predominantly seafood pasta and grilled steak with a creamy mushroom sauce and moussaka. They also serve delicious options such as eggplant and bean stew. The decor is chic and warm, while the plating of their modern Greek cuisine is equally stylish.
Great cosy place away from the main streets in Parga. We have had the chance to visit the restaurant two days in a row. How not to return to the amazing food! The staff is friendly and polite, the food is beyond wonderful. I can truly say that this is the best restaurant in Parga, and one of the best in all of Greece!
Magdalena I — Google review
The food was good, the atmosphere was slightly tense because there were so many people and between the tables there was no space, but the staff is the reason I am giving 2 stars. Everything was fine until we asked for the bill then we waited for 10 minutes and throughout the whole evening we saw how they gave all the tables a compliment from the restaurant and when it was our turn they didn't give any to us. Which isnt a "big deal" but it creates the impression of personal attitude. When we asked why we didn't get a compliment they told us that the bartender wanted us to leave quickly because there were people waiting outside for a table!! Again, we waited more than TEN minutes for the bill. I don't know how we were different from everyone else, their behavior was unacceptable for us:)

We visited as a party of two and were seated immediately, even though we arrived quite late in August, around 10 PM. The food was so delicious that we practically inhaled it! I would especially recommend the sea bream, which was elevated by the refreshing lemon jelly, as well as the shrimp saganaki. The salad and starters arrived within 12 minutes, and all seven dishes we ordered were served within half an hour. Overall, a wonderful dining experience — I would definitely recommend this place.

Taverna Petros offers a blend of traditional Greek cuisine in a modern setting. The restaurant's inviting space features a hip and modern look with pops of green and warm browns, creating an open-plan layout. Guests can enjoy delicious rustic food in a clean and spacious environment, with the option for outdoor seating. The menu boasts excellent and traditional Greek dishes prepared using fresh ingredients and modern techniques. Notable recommendations include the dry-aged veal tomahawk.
We went there for the second time tried different dishes and we can say the food is amazing. Fresh ingredients and made with love. Appetizers and meat in excellent conditions. The service is top and the staff is very helpful in make your order complete. Background music also very nice. 5 stars go on Where Greek classic cuisine meets the modern way❤️
Kosta G — Google review
During my visit to Petros Taverna in Targa, the experience was a mix of highlights and a few disappointments. The appetizers stood out as the strongest part of the meal – the feta sesame cheese pies were very good, the fried zucchini was excellent, and the meatballs were equally impressive. The fillet salad was also enjoyable. On the other hand, the mains were less memorable. The spaghetti was underwhelming, and unfortunately, the moussaka was one of the weakest I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was decent, though nothing particularly special, and the service was on the slower side. One thing I did appreciate was the visible cleanliness and organization in the back, which gave a sense of care in their food preparation. Overall, I would likely return, but only to enjoy their appetizers, which are definitely worth the visit.
THE R — Google review
The atmosphere here is lovely and the service was great – really warm and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. The chicken souvlaki was made with breast fillet and turned out very dry, so we couldn’t eat it. We asked not to be charged, and the waiter was kind enough to understand, which we appreciated. Overall, a nice spot for the vibe and service, but the food could be better.
Sofie S — Google review
Initially we ordered something that the waiter said unfortunately its sold out and he recommended some other dishes. We ordered and by the end of the night we asked why did you tell us the dishes we wanted were sold out when we clearly see them on the display? The answer was that it was a misunderstanding with between him and the chef. Either this or the restaurant wanted to push other 'recommended' dishes that weren't being sold much that night.. Apart from that the food was ok, the service was good and the vibe decent.
Dimitra D — Google review
Visited twice after a recommendation. Food was delicious and tasted so fresh. We shared the baked Feta on both occasions. I also had the Lamb and the Kebab and my partner had the Tomahawk and the Beef Stidado. The service was excellent too. Excellent value for money.
Hannah R — Google review
Absolutely delicious. The appetizers and desserts are especially legit. Went twice, brought friends. The fava/lentil appetizer. Wow. So good. Beet salad. Yum. Choco soufflé and lemon cheesecake.. oh man! The only disappointment consistently was the bread. Its cut too thick and dry. Probably my least favorite bread in a month if touring Greece. Also, you have to constantly flag a waiter down vs them coming by, which is a tad odd/annoying. But I could eat their different sauces daily.
Anthony R — Google review
Nipped here for a meal early evening before we e went on the Parga train. Food delish I had the stuffed meatballs! We were too early to order from the spit rotisserie as this would be ready around 7:30pm daily but definitely will come back to try. I recommend booking here as it is always packed when we walk past
Anna B — Google review
Another place with many locals eating. Great quality meat. We had the bisteki stuffed with graviera cheese and the pastrami. Both excellent. Regarding salads we wanted to try a different taste and we went for the tabulleh but we didn’t love it, it was more of a cold quinoa salad. Service excellent. Nice decorated place Even with the salad that we didn’t like, 100% recommended

Restaurant
To Kyma, also known as To Kaima Restaurant, is renowned for its unique setting on a spacious boat near Parga's harbor, offering captivating vistas of the azure Ionian Sea. This eatery exudes a maritime and Mediterranean ambiance, creating a vibrant atmosphere complemented by warm and amiable service. With reasonable prices, patrons can indulge in an array of delectable grilled fish dishes, fresh seafood delicacies, and traditional Greek as well as Mediterranean cuisine.
Excellent food. Portions are pretty big and prices were reasonable. Service was very fast and very professional. Greek salad was very good and very big , huge recommendation!
Sara G — Google review
We had the pleasure of dining at To Kyma one evening during our stay in Parga. With two adults and one child at the table, we shared a starter and each chose a main course – and that was more than enough food for us all. The portions are generous, and the flavors truly reflect traditional Greek cooking at its best. One of the reasons we chose To Kyma that evening was the way we were welcomed. Unlike many places along the promenade, the hosts here were respectful and low-key, giving us time and space to look through the menu in peace without any pressure. Their calm and humble approach stood out and made us feel at ease. Our appetizer was a plate of steamed mussels in a sauce made with peppers, white wine, and mustard – and it was nothing short of spectacular. The mussels were tender and fresh, and the broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It was one of the culinary highlights of our walk along the seafront. Finding better mussels in Parga would be a challenge! Moussaka: A classic Greek dish done well. The portion was very generous, and while it had a bit more potato than expected, the taste was comforting and well-rounded. Perfect for those looking to try something truly local. Lamb knuckle baked in the oven with honey and potatoes: This dish stood out. The lamb was beautifully cooked – fall-off-the-bone tender – with simple, clean flavors that let the quality of the ingredients shine. If you’re Norwegian and love lamb (especially dishes like fårikål), this will feel both familiar and special. Chicken schnitzel: A hit with our young one! Crispy, golden, and satisfying – exactly what you’d hope for in a family-friendly dish. The servers were friendly and welcoming, always with a smile, even if they seemed a little rushed when things got busy. Understandable, given the restaurant’s location right on the bustling promenade. Despite that, they maintained a pleasant attitude throughout. To Kyma offers more than just a meal – it’s a taste of genuine Greek hospitality and home-style cooking. We only wish we had more time to explore the rest of the menu. If you’re dining along the Parga waterfront, To Kyma is absolutely worth a stop.

Food is very good but we are vating 90+ minutes for our food. They brought us 1 portion and we asked for 5, after that they brought us one portion at a time for 30 minutes. They didn't even apologize...

I expected more out of a Kyma restoran on main pedestrian stroll, but it was disappointing 😞. Sword fish was dry and tasted like BBQ, small portion with no side dish ( there was one peace of grilled paprika and 2 pieces of zucchini), 18€ - ooooverpriced. Kids had chicken sulvaki with few potatos, it was just ok. Also we had seabas, it was fille with some souce...not bad. After all, service was so so, eyes rolled, we waited for our dishes long time, got a wrong water; not comming back ever. Not recommended, have some gyros at the corner, much tastier!

Nisaki is a popular restaurant that is highly regarded by families who appreciate its offerings. By far the best pizza in Parga ! I have visited every day and all of the times, it is perfect😍 Huge variety of salty and sweet treats

The only restaurant that disappointed us. We took shelter here from a storm and decided that since we couldn't go to the beach, we might as well eat something. Unfortunately, it didn't go well. I ordered tzatziki, but the bread was served separately, which was fine, but the tzatziki was terribly oversalted and sour. My girlfriend chose something sweet and ordered a waffle. She didn't know what was meant by the name of waffle "Mille-feuille", so she asked the waitress, who replied, "you know, milk chocolate and biscuits." Spoiler: there was neither chocolate nor biscuits on it. Overall, we felt like we were bothering the staff. The waitress practically threw the glasses onto the table, and I thought they would shatter. This visit really disappointed us.

It’s very beautiful restaurant next to the beach. It’s has a great view from here. We enjoyed our meal. It’s one of the best places in Parga to eat and it’s not too expensive. The food was amazing, the stuff was so nice. The wife is free. They have big choices of food which is hard to find in Parga (pizza, pasta, toast, deserts, burgers, breakfast…)

Nisaki is the perfect combination of great food and beachside comfort. 🍴☀️ Not only is the restaurant excellent, but they also manage a section of Krioneri Beach with their own sunbeds — and the service there is outstanding. Having food and drinks delivered directly to your sunbed makes the beach experience effortless and relaxing. 🏖️🥂 The two guys working on the beach are truly “golden” — friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. Their professionalism and kindness make you feel well cared for throughout the day. Whether you’re enjoying a meal at the restaurant or relaxing on the beach, Nisaki offers top‑quality service and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Parga. ✨

Cute cafeteria with very nice ambience and polite staff, however their waffles are a little dry on the outside and undercooked on the inside. I had seen a comment about the same thing on another review, and it is actually true. Also, a small bottle of water is charged 80 cents (!!) when it is sold for 50 cents everywhere and in the supermarket it costs only around 30.

We discovered this amazing restaurant just a few days before the end of our vacation, and our only regret is not finding it sooner! We came back several days in a row because everything we tried was simply perfect from savory dishes to desserts. The pancakes were the best we’ve ever had, the pizza was incredible my husband ordered it almost every time and the service was truly exceptional. The staff are beyond sweet, incredibly kind, and always smiling. They made us feel so welcome❣️❣️❣️
Angela M — Google review
We orderd a sallad with avocado, mozzarella, cranberries, almond, balsamico and some more stuff in it. It was one of the better sallads I have had. Their tzatziki was on the garlicy side, which I like, but something to note since I have found most tzatziki at the more traditional greek restaurants serve a more balanced tzatziki. We got some fried zucchini too. Recommend all of it. Good service too, however the location wasnt the most pleasant to sit and enjoy a dinner.
Christian — Google review
We paid- they didnt bring us the change. We ordered pancakes, ice tea and water. The pancakes came first, and the water never came. The pancakes were not tasty and they had just a little praline on the top layer. Nothing on the inside. Beautiful place though.

It was a wonderful experience! The view is very nice and the castle is in a good state, there is also a small tunnel you should visit. The entrance is free and there is a parking space near the castle.

Alonaki Fanariou is a hidden gem nestled within a small reef, offering visitors an enchanting sandy beach with crystal-clear waters. This picturesque cove features a mix of sand and pebbles, making it perfect for swimming and paddleboarding in its calm sea. While the beach is accessible via steps from a parking area, those with mobility challenges may find it less convenient.
Beautiful bay with clear, shallow water and a cozy beach bar. Easy to reach via short stairs. We arrived at 11 AM and all sun beds were already taken - come early!
Lisa K — Google review
Nature and the sea as well as the whole ambience with one cafe are phenomenal!! A must visit if you are in the area. You should arrive by 9 in the morning because there are very few sunbeds and umbrellas. If you have your own, you can do it whenever you want... Once again, the beautiful beach and sea
Antonio M — Google review
This is an absolutely stunning beach. It has a parking area and steps down to the beach (not ideal for those with mobility/access issues). It is a sandy/shingle cove with the most crystal clear sea, wonderful for a refreshing swim. The water is calm and was ideal to paddleboard. There is a small cafe serving drinks, sandwiches and if you purchase food/drink the use of the sunloungers/umbrellas is free. We visited the first week of July and by 10am on a week day the beach was full, It was busier on the Saturday. What a wonderful beach, the only thing to note is that the only toilet is a portaloo, located halfway up the stairs. Oh and there were some friendly goats 🐐 on the beach.
Lizzy B — Google review
Stone size sandy beach in a nice little bay with clear water great for snorkeling 🤿 This beach is also crowded in the summer time. We arrived around 11:00 and there was no sun beds available. There is a small walk from the parking place to the beach. The bar is a beautiful spot to drink and get some pictures.
Amit B — Google review
Hidden gem, crystal waters and beautiful beach! Recommend to go early in the morning because it gets crowded. Free sunbeds only if you take some drinks at the bar. 30 min from Parga👌🏻
Emirjona H — Google review
One of the most beautiful beaches I have been to. Combination of pebbles and sand, with many rocks you can climb in the sea. I saw wild goats on the beach when reaching it out in the morning. After 10:30 in the weekend, however, gets extremely crowded so not really comfortable. There are also sunbeds and a bar serving a variety of drinks, also they make sandwiches if you are hungry.
Diana I — Google review
One of the most beautiful beaches on that part of the coast.. Suitable for diving.. there is a lot to see.. A large space for parking, from which there are about 50 steps leading to the beach. The only downside is that it can be crowded
Milos R — Google review
A truly picturesque beach, surrounded by mountains and blessed with crystal-clear waters. It’s peaceful and not very busy, which makes it perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing swim away from the crowds. There’s also a cute little café nearby where you can grab a drink or snack while enjoying the view. A hidden gem well worth visiting!

We went by pedalo rented at a nearby Lichnos beach. It takes about 15 minutes to get there, so there is about half an hour left for swimming and diving in the cave. The cave is not huge but it's quite nice. Well worth the visit if you're into it
Zeljko C — Google review
Worth the visit. Put lots of sunscreen if going by SUP as its a bit of a distance plus the scenerey is amazing and you will spend a lot of time around. Aim for after 4pm so the sun hits the cave in the proper direction but 12 was also a good time. Avoid going before this time as the sun is still behind
Kleidi K — Google review
It's hard to arrive with the kayak, I felt with the waves and turned back bacause I was afraid to fall again, maybe the kayak weren't stable enought, at least for me, that I don't have a good balance. Better to go with the pedal boat, but in any case with a calm sea.
Alejandra B — Google review
I loved it there! Clear blue water, you could see the rock on the bottom. The water was warm even though the air was a bit cold. Loved to swim there!
Gabriela O — Google review
Close to Lichnos beach in Parga the breathtaking rock formations create the beautiful Aphrodite's cave only approachable by sea. According to the legend, the god of beauty, Aphrodite, used to swim at the crystal clear water of the cave. Worth visiting it on a kayak.
Outdoors K — Google review
Use a canoe or a water bike to enter the cave.

Lovely little beach. Great for early morning swimming when the sea is still. Areas around the rocks are brimming with sea life and the rocks themselves are great for climbing. Could do with less sunbeds though.
Irena S — Google review
Very small beach which is basically like a lagoon. Stony beach which is for me the preferred beach. clear water and perfect for snorkeling. It can be packed in the summer time. Walking distance from the 24H parking lot.
Amit B — Google review
This beach is smaller than Krioneri Beach and more tucked away, making it quieter and a better in-town option for those who don’t enjoy crowds. However, the pebbles here are larger, both in the water and on the shore.
Dorde L — Google review
Piso krioneri, that means behind Krioneri. Little nice Beach, a little crowded in some moments. Beautiful turquese water. Calm. Rocky seabed full of fishes. There are sunbeds, 12-13€ set. A couple of bars. To take a frappè I recommend Angela café.
Alejandra B — Google review
cute beach but at 9am already most sunbeds are taken lmao not kids friendly as the depth jump is huge overally nice but the pebbles are soo painful and it is so difficult to walk w/o shoes
Alex — Google review
A small rocky beach with great landscapes and clean water. Several good taverns and a supermarket located nearby. A great alternative for larger nearby beaches.
Pavle N — Google review
The beach is small and quiet, but very ugly. There are sunbeds and space for your own equipment, but it’s rocky and extremely crowded, everything is very cramped. From my point of view, one of the ugliest beaches I’ve ever been to.
Jovan S — Google review
Clean and beautiful water, great views! You will need beach shoes as it is not a sandy beach. It often gets too crowded, however, it is much much better than the town beach. Perfect area for snorkelling as there are soo many fishes. There is a wide free zone. The beach has a great location - just outside the promenade and the town buzz. Preferred for early and end-of-day swimming.

Peaceful, secluded beach popular for swimming, snorkeling & sunbathing, with a seasonal cantina.
A piece of heaven often not seen on the mainland. Very clean and turquoise sea, nice beach. Walking distance from everywhere and a place to stay for a long time. Definitely worth for a holiday.

Great beach, very particular with the little islands, you can swim to the main island and explore it, don't forget the beach shoes to walk there
Alejandra B — Google review
Too packed..too many umbrellas.. People like Sardines... would imagine it was once beautiful ... It did look pretty at night
Melissa R — Google review
Top Parga beach, rocks and islands available by walking/smimming/pedalo offer an array of cozy views. 15€ for a sunbed, bit the cafes that offer them are alright.
Krzysztof N — Google review
We visited in January and it was beautiful. I would not want to be there during summer probably as it is bound to get very crowded.
Fraus L — Google review
We had slushy, which was ok, but waffle unusual, but not in a good way. It wasn't soft at all. It was tough. We haven't been to other cafes, so idk if prices are cheap or not, but it didn't seem expensive to me. 2 slushys and one waffle with strawberry ice cream were about 20-25€
Davor P — Google review
Definitely NOT a 5 star beach based on Greek standards. Packed with beach beds, too crowded, not the best water.
Amerikanos — Google review
Beautiful place to rest. Clear water, fresh air, nice view of the islands where you can swim to. Far ahead Paxos and Antipaxos island where you can go by boat in an eight hours trip usually in interval 10:00AM - 6:00PM

Parga Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction located in a beautiful valley. Accessible via a sometimes steep walk from Parga or by taxi, the waterfall offers comfortable seating and shade for visitors to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. The entrance to the waterfall area involves purchasing a drink from Filoxenia sea view hotel, which is 300 meters away. Recent improvements made by the landowners include clearing the site of debris, rustic wooden fencing, and seating options including luxury double loungers.
Beautiful place with two waterfalls. You can refresh yourself in a pool under a smaller one. There are tables, cozy chairs and laizy beds in a deep shade. Entrance is 5€, one cold drink included, which is actually a maintenance fee. Not too far from Parga, suitable for a short hike or as a pleasant stop on your way to Ali Pasa's castle. Would visit again for sure...
Nenad K — Google review
It's a challenging trek in the heat from Voltos Beach. Take water. Expect an hours walk up hill, and expect to get out of breath and require a short rest every so often. The falls were peaceful and tranquil. Just one thing to note. The nearby hotel charges €5 for access. Which is typical of Parga to be honest. Every vendor wants to take us for every penny.
K R — Google review
A wonderful experience, I really recommend! You have to go to Filoxenia Hotel, down to the street on the left. There you have to pay 5 E and the receptionist give you a drink and the key to access the waterfall. There is a 6-7 walking route to the waterfall. The hotel has a great view! There are no visiting hours, despite the information on the entrance.
Crina B — Google review
Beautiful Natural Waterfall - Now easily accessible with great area to relax and enjoy the area. I have been coming to Parga for many years now with my young family and attempted to visit this area a few years ago. We gave up and turned back because the area was overgrown, dirty and dangerous to access. You had to climb over fences and huge rocks! It couldn’t be more different now!! The area is now easy and safe to access with my young children 11 & 14 and older parents (60+) There is a gate where you need to purchase a drink to access but it’s worth every penny and it’s not even a drink each! If it helps keep this amazing natural waterfall accessible to all then 👍🏻 There are some natural 4 post sun beds and some ‘love’ chairs which are cool. Don’t miss the 2nd smaller waterfall that has been uncovered down the steps. Crisp, fresh, cold mountain water that’s great for a cool dip! The apartments nearby also has some pretty gardens We will definitely visit again.
Stuart M — Google review
Very small but nice waterfall. You have to purchase a drink for 5 euro as entrance fee.
Stine D — Google review
A big and smaller waterfall in a beautiful valley with comfortable seating and shade. Well worth the sometimes steep walk from Parga, or by taxi it should be 8 euros. Take the Gremina waterfall path and halfway along it, there is a clear path leading to the gate of the waterfall area. The entrance is purchasing a drink (5€ in 2024) from the Filoxenia sea view hotel, which is 300 meters away. We were lucky to meet a representative of the hotel at the gate and she brought the drinks to us. It would be good if purchasing the entrance would be more accessible. Maybe this will be easier later in the season.
Inga H — Google review
We had a lovely peaceful visit to the waterfall having walked down from Anthousa. We visited last year but what a great improvement - the land owners have done a fantastic job of clearing the site of rubbish/debris etc and have erected rustic wooden fencing and seating so you can enjoy the serenity of the location. There are also some luxury double loungers for those who wish to spend a little more time there. The lady we spoke to (owner) was lovely and we all enjoyed a much needed cold beer! Well worth the 5€.
Veronica H — Google review
This is a fantastic and unexpectedly beautiful cool place in the middle of the olive trees. We came to visit around noon with a drink and a good book. We plan to stay for a few hours.
