It’s actually the best ski resort in the world. Over 1200km of excellent slopes, totally no queues to the lifts. I love this place!!!
Matchalatte — Google review
Very beautiful ski resort with dramatic surrounding scenery, but not my favourite one. So incredibly crowded, 40' waitting lines and expensive tickets. The ski pists a bit short, a lot of them blue, crowded with begginers. Unfortunately the weather was also terrible with very strong winds.

Waterfalls
Waterfall ringed by dramatic peaks, accessed on a trail crossing meadows & pine forest.
Easy hike to the waterfall. I would recommend starting at one of the lifts (you can reach the waterfall from both directions). We started at the cafeteria by the road but had to walk via busy MTB track where hikers are not allowed. The path leads directly to the waterfall. There is an area with picnic tables, fresh water and wc at the base. To reach the top you will have to cross water. I just took off my shoes and carried my child on hands, did not walk on rocks but in pebbles in water. If scared, take a stick for balance. Nice, very easy climb, a small adventure for kids :)

It’s an unexpected gem: the route to Cascate itself and the waterfall. The trail from Skipass is quite short 2km and comfortable, first through forest along the river, with a bridge, there are multiple benches on its way, toilet, dustbins, lawn with picnic tables in the end where you make a turn to the town of Colfosco through a picturesque meadow full of flowers.
Marina S — Google review
Magnificent waterfall, easy path. We started at the parking lot of "Ristorante Bar Mesoles", went east on bike path (that goes down between the trees), then connect to a woder path thet goes south to the waterfall.
Segev D — Google review
Hidden, great, free and close to the road (<1km) waterfall
Sagy B — Google review
Beautiful walk with tons of flowers in June! Very refreshing! It’s not a huge waterfall but it’s really worth it!
Amy B — Google review
Nice pleasant and simple (short) walk to the waterfall . Very calm and recommended. The waterfall is relatively small but easily accessible and admission is free.

Amazing waterfall and the path through the forest it's lovely and peacefully.

Very easy and short trail which anybody can enjoy. The view is quite beautiful both from the waterfall or from the trail. FYI: below the fall you can find benches and tables, a waterfountain and a small restroom.

Mountain peak
Transportation
Tramways
Piz Boè, the highest mountain in the Sella Group of the Dolomites in Italy, offers a relatively easy hiking trail with breathtaking panoramic views at its peak. With an elevation of 3,152 meters (10,341 feet), it is considered one of the easiest summits over 3,000 meters in the region. The 5.3 km (3.3 miles) trail provides hikers with stunning 360-degree views of the Dolomites.
Piz Boe offers a fantastic trekking experience 🏔 I climbed it in August during a weather breakdown 🌡, after an intensive snowfall ❄️ that lasted a full day. We started our trekking from Terrazza delle Dolomiti ⭐️, a wonderful viewpoint accessible via cable car 🚡 from Passo Pordoi, even in strong gusts of wind. From the top station, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the Rifugio Forcella Pordoi 🏠, where one can bolster their forces with a cup of very aromatic coffee ☕️ or something to eat. Continuing from the Rifugio, it should take you at most 1,5 hours 🕜 to reach the top of Piz Boe 🚩. The trail isn't always visible under the snow, so I recommend using a sport watch ⌚️ or a map on your phone 📱 for navigation. At some places, one can sink into the snow up to their waist! Choose your path carefully 👣. The climb to the top is quite easy 👌. There are even some metal chains for extra security, but they are also doing well as trail marks 👍 The whole round-trip should take around 3,5 hours (2 hours up, 1,5 down) in winter conditions 🌨. We made stops in Rifugio Forcella and at the top of Piz Boe, which added an extra hour ⏳️ to the trip. We managed to get to the cable car around 16:30, which was perfect. It's absolutely doable if you start at midday 💪
Michał K — Google review
We took a cable car to the top. It was mid of June and still some snow. We did hike a bit but we didn’t do the hike as we planned because the snow was slippery. Walking poles would help in this conditions.
Agnieszka Ś — Google review
My first 3000+ meters peak. Climbed during our Alta Via 2 hike. Relatively easy and excellent views.
Juraj J — Google review
Good news is that the place is marvelous, bad news is that this pictures and videos won’t show how majestic they really are, you will have to come here yes or yes to experience this gates to heaven.
Jonathan C — Google review
Easy hike. If you are able-bodied it should be no problem to climb this mountain, especially when you will ride 2ith cable car to sass pordoi. I highly redomend to make a round trip via rifiugio boe. But hike from rifiugo boe is harder. There is a place with high exposure.
Tomasz L — Google review
We took the trail 638 to the top. Some parts were quite tough, you need to climb up a very steep wall. You should be an experienced hiker. When you reach the top, you will meet hundreds of people who walked the easiest way, which is just around 200m up after using a lift. 🚡 It’s very crowded on the top. There are families, dogs and many bambini. So the trails to the nearby hut are very overcrowded. It gets better when you leave this area.
A. S — Google review
Humbled and privileged to be on the peak alone. Magnificent views. Technically not demanding except last part and if there is some snow. Go early in the morning.
Zoran S — Google review
This hike was the most difficult one that we did while we were in Dolomites. The weather made it more difficult than it should be.

The ice skating rink, Stadio del Ghiaccio Albert Pezzei, is an ideal facility for hockey with its excellent infrastructure. However, it lacks a warm and inviting atmosphere for spectators. The seats are made of cold concrete and the stadium is open on all sides, resulting in an icy temperature below zero degrees.

(Translated by Google) From the Alta Badia website open 3pm-6pm every day. I go to the stadium which is regularly open but magically you can't skate because it is reserved for the Milan team. The bartender at the facility tells me that everything is written....I go to the Corvara Tourist Office for information on the matter and the employee correctly informs me that he was informed of the closure 2 minutes before my arrival. Magical timing. Lost 2 tourists who wanted to spend a nice afternoon. (Original) Dal sito Alta Badia aperto 15-18 tutti i giorni. Mi reco allo stadio che risulta regolarmente aperto ma magicamente non si può pattinare xché riservato a squadra di Milano. Un magico tempismo. Persi 2 turisti che volevano passare un bel pomeriggio.

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful stadium but, having arrived here after checking the opening times online, we were unable to skate. At the bar they told us that for the whole week the space was reserved for a team for their training. Mountain cable car
Seggiovia Vallon is a chairlift that provides access to Sella for tourists, including those wearing low shoes. The prices are reasonable, and during the descent, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Fanes group. This slow double-seated lift is one of the oldest still in operation and takes you to one of the highest ski-able locations at 2550m. On sunny days, there's a fine view on the other side as well.
Nice open air cable lift. The views are brilliant. At the top is a rocky hill top good for some photos - see my video. But the fresh air is a big positive on the whole. Recommended…!
A K — Google review
Great lift to get high up and start hiking in the area. Gives a good overview of the area and the lake
Vidar H — Google review
Using the Boè lift also gives you the opportunity to then transfer to Vallon. This second lift is a two-seater open chairlift. Not sure if I would recommend it for people with small kids since at times it can be scary for some but overall it is a very pleasant and peaceful experience. The elevation is an additional 1000m, so please make sure you bring warm clothes - it gets very cold even during the summer.
J • — Google review
They didn't even think twice when I showed up with my 2 dogs (I'm a solo traveller). They stopped the lifts, let me get on with Shadow and Lumi and wished me a great day. Loved the visit!!
Sharon M — Google review
A slow double-seated lift bringing you up to the top of the mountain. Probably one of the oldest lifts still in operation, but at the same time, this is one of the highest ski-able locations you can teach (2550m, I think). If the day is sunny, then you also get a fine view to the other side. All in all, if you're close, take the lift and ski down the black slope once. (The slope? Not as challenging as I hoped, but cool enough.)
Gustav C — Google review
We took the cable car up to the top to have a scenic view of the city of Corvara below. I believe the fare was 15.80€ round trip. It's quite an impressive feat of engineering. Initially, it's an easy glide up, but the half way point, the car starts to climb almost vertically. We went in the afternoon around 4 pm, so there was no one else there. There's a bar and a restaurant at the top and the views are spectacular. I spotted a hiking trail when I reached the top, which looks like quite the challenge if you're going up to the top. See pics below for the hiking trail.
