This is the unique museum, I suppose the only in the world. It shows us the history of match manufacturing and real equipment for it. There are several rooms with exhibits, little shop with souvenirs. Also, I’ve taken free magazine and brochures to find out more about Swedish match factories and the region. We visited in winter, so the entrance was for free. Thank you for this opportunity! Very unusual but interesting.

The museum was amazing. The staff is nice and it was free as it was höstlöv. We learnt about the history of the matchsticks. You can also make your own matchsticks. I would highly recommend to going to this museum with your family or friends.

I was really excited 😊 and happy 😃 to visit TÄNDSTICKMUSEET in Jönköping. Very interesting 🤔 things to visit and to learn about matches. This museum is near central station 🚉 and around city center. I recommend this place to everyone who will visit Jönköping city. Staff are very polite and helpful.

It's a cozy time machine packed with local legends, viking relics, and dreamy John Bauer troll art with a interesting futuristic point of view. It mixes nature, history, and magic. Free to enter but you’ll leave richer in whimsy ☀️

A perfect place to visit every now and then. Keep an eye on their social media for the announcement of new artists. It wasn't crowded when we visited on Friday afternoon. Also there's a Jönköping history part that's pretty cool. It is connected to the stadsbibliotek and you can access the space through their door. There's also a small souvenir store in the front.

We visited for free and there were 2 exhibitions which impressed most. One was about John Bauer work, am immersive one. The second one was engaging as well, about different people from the past with interesting stories. A new approach to knowing a place by knowing history of its people, the me real, some partislly imagined. Totally recommended!

Jonkoping Museum is located in the heart of the Jonkoping's downtown. It consists of two buildings: The older one (concrete colored) was opened to public in 1955. Later, in 1992 The new expansion (Reddish colored) was finished and started hosting exhibitions and events. The museum has a great collection of the Swedish renowned artist John Bauer who lived and worked in Jonkoping. The Museum dedicate some galleries to its permanent shows, as well as some to temporary shows and events. Also within the museum there is an art conservation rooms. A small art and book shop is located on the ground floor. The museum is connected to the public library by a spacious hallway and a lobby where the cafeteria is located to serve both buildings. Though it is a pleasant surprise to find that a small city like Jonkoping can boast a mid-size museum, you will be disappointed if you come here having in mind to see something like the Louvre of Paris, the Metropolitan of New York city, Madrid's Prado, or Cairo's great museum. The collection and the shows here are much more modest and austere, with an obvious stress on modernity that sometimes tends to be funky. Almost all the main Public bus lines stop right in front of the museum. Admission fee: Free.

It was really amazing atmosphere to visit Jönköping County Museum. Interesting 🤨 to see different pictures and paint 🎨 from different artists from Sweden 🇸🇪 and from different countries.

Nice compact museum, with an eclectic mix of exhibits. You need to be a complete geek to enjoy the vast range of power tools and chain saws. The motorcycle sections were excellent and worth the entry fee alone. Good value for money.

Really interesting history not just of one company but also of life as we remember things. All those things my mum used to have in the kitchen, now long gone, and a few surprises. Who knew solar powered robot grass cutters were first on the market in 1995!! Excellent place for a couple of hours.

An interesting place to go and see whe history of the company Husqvarna. It's not about the city. Gave an interesting view and history of the company. Entrance SEK 120 per peeson was a tad steep for what you get but not many were there and if staff are to be there and keep it open then I guess it's necessary

I'm not a museum person at all, but my boyfriend wanted to go, so I joined him. I must say I really enjoyed it! I love the fact that Husqvarna has produced pretty much every conceivable object possible, and could see them all displayed, and without being too wordy. It was also very cool to see some of the donated items that were still brand new, and others very well used. Thoroughly recommended, even to museum avoiders, and it's a very fair price.

Great place for overnight motorhome parking next to park with 2 dedicated MH spaces. Park in other spaces too as long as all 4 wheels are inside the white lines. No services, toilet in park. Litter-louts eat take away after dark & throw rubbish out of car windows (not campers), otherwise very quiet

Parked my car there during a weekend bike packing trip. Would not recommend because it is out of the city. Car was fine though but gave me some headaches during the trip 😂

Nice swimming accommodations with an outdoor pool with slides, indoor 'adventure' pools with slides, a 50m pool and diving towers ranging from 1m to 10m. Bring a padlock for closing your locker, or take your bag to the pool area.

Very nice facilities and friendly staff! However, the price is a bit unreasonable. The half year pass for exercise pool is 2020kr with a student discount, which is more than twice higher than other aquatic pools ( Compared to Högevall in Lund and Stadsparksbadet in Borås)

50m pool, jump pool, pool for children, outside pool and pool with attractions (sea waves, toboggan, river rapids, etc.). Water was colder then I expacted. Not so mamy showers and wc. You need your own lock if you want to lock your dress cabinet.

We have been here on our journey with the camper through Sweden to enjoy a rainy morning and cleaning ouerselfs. The bath is a bit old and on some points not that clean. There are no possibility to lay only if you have an premium (relaxing) access. For normal bath you need to pay 100skr each, for relaxing 200 skr each. We can recommend it and enjoyed the time here

Big public pool in Jönköping at a central location. It features a recreational, family and sports area. The latter has 50m lanes for competitive swimming. Staff was friendly and helpful. Inside there's also a snack shop and restaurant. It's a bit old but well maintained, could use some renovation.

For what it is, and where it is a really nice place to go either relax in the spa area, or hang out and have fun in the wave pool, or maybe if you are adventurous try out the jump towers, something for everyone even if the place feels a little old and could maybe use a bigger budget for renovations as it has looked the same for 10+ years.

Amazing place for summer season! Perfect for family with kids to have rest on beach situated in city center! Water is always clean but cold. During summer not more than 20-21 degrees, but for short refresh is perfect! Highly recommended!

Nice place to hangout with kids and family even for the adults. They have nice sandy beach kids play area and lots of space to sit and have picnic, when we went we saw lots of flys.

Vätternstraden is the best 👌 place where you can spend full day when is summer season in Jönköping. I’m very happy to live here, just to min from my apartment by foot 🦶 I enjoy 😊 training everyday with my bike 🚲 walking 🚶‍♂️ & running 🏃‍♂️ I feel lucky 🍀 to live close to the lake.

A really large mall with pharmacy, luggage shops, sports clothes, HM, Granit and many more. It’s a stop where you really can find most things. Quite busy on weekends and holidays.

I do like it. There are many things like clothing shops, pharmacies, and much more. I have been here a lot of times. and the best thing I loved was the old mcdonalds they removed from A6 at 2019 if I remember. Otherwise it's great!

I liked that design. It was a very beautiful and clean shopping mall.

A6 is the only shopping mall in Jönköping (Pronounced: Yon-sho-ping/ 160,000 inhabitants) The mall was opened in 1987 on a site formerly occupied by an artillery regiment of Swedish army. The Mall witnessed a major renovation and expansion works (some still going on) that almost doubled its space surface, and enhanced shoppers circulation. The mall features over than 80 stores and 17 cafes and restaurants. Though most of the main Swedish retailer brands are present in the mall, it lacks the international brand names as those those companies seem not keen yet on establishing a footprint in Jonkoping area. The mall is accessible by public transportations: Bus Lines #3, 4, 17. And a regional train stop is only 10 minutes walking.

Honestly, the mall is pretty good, except for the fact that you can find basically nothing but clothing and dining. Aside from that, i recommend!

Friendly staff. Food and coffee was pretty good but lost a star for being overpriced, even for some used to London prices. Very clean and comfortable sitting area, and quiet too.

We recently visited Bryggan Café & Bistro in Jönköping, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The view of the lake is absolutely scenic, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for a coffee break. The latte was rich and satisfying, and the cappuccino was equally smooth and well-balanced — both were exactly what we needed while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Service is fast and efficient, though it’s self-service, so we wouldn’t really rate that part. Still, everything was handled smoothly. The overall atmosphere is fantastic — a great place to sit and relax. We’d definitely recommend Bryggan Café & Bistro — a solid 5 out of 5 for the view, the drinks, and the overall experience!

Very nice ambient with a very nice view, good food and Coffee. The sizes are sometimes a little decent, didn’t make a lot of experiences on the staff yet. The price is really good for the location. During lunch time the coffee is even for free with the menu which is really nice.

First-class prawn salad here with a great quiet Sunday view over the water. Staff were good and spoke English. Help yourself to hit water for tea (meaning refills!) and plenty drinking water available for free, too, which is a bonus in expensive Sweden. Latte was a good size and temperature but possibly needed an extra shot for the bigger glass. All round, it was very satisfying. Thanks

Really nice cafe. Lovely ambience, cool music and vibes. We had a Mango and Passion Fruit Green Tea and Hot Chocolate, both were very good. Would have stayed for lunch but it was only 10am. The food smelt amazing! Staff were very helpful and quick. Will come back here.

Nice place with a very inviting view of a little cove and a modern lake front. Short menu with decent food for young crowd at reasonable prices. Good coffee, nice cakes, good sandwiches, pictures attached.

Good seafood restaurant for lunch or dinner. One of the best places to eat in Jönköping. I ate the Magda's Menu and got full. The area where it's located is very nice.

Delicious fish n chips, including chocolate cake, coffee for dessert and lunch salad. The fish batter was just done right by British standards, the potatoes were cooked also just right (crisp on the outside while soft and moist on the inside) and the salad side on the dish with cooked cherry tomatoes gave it the right level of sweetness and sour. I trust these people and would pay double. This is an absolute gem, if it was a publicly traded company I would buy stock.

Terrible service, we had to go to the bar when we wanted to order more, tried to wave to the waitress but no luck with that. I Like the brunch with pancakes concept but. It's a restaurant in the afternoons and it's super tasty, in the night around 10ish it becomes a nightclub. Not my typ of arena, but the music is good and it's probably best place if u want to dance. The entry for the nightclub is 160kr around 15 euros

If you want to feel like having a party in 2010 this is your place, they definitely don't have new music. Every time I visit this place I get disappointed because of the music. It really becomes boring to listen such old music when there are so many new good songs

Went there with my wife and it was very crowded. The coffee was really bad almost like machine coffee. The pizza was salty and my wife noticed the guy handling the salt like it was the main ingredient. Alot of food contains salt from the start so adding it doesn't make sense unless you remove the low quality salty and don't add equal or more. Maybe the quality is better when there is less people. The Semla was extremely good

We went there as a group of students from the university. They were so nice that they offered us special prices for students (which is almost half of the regular prices) along with free access to billiard, shuffleboards and darts. Service was amazing, and I will surely look forward to visiting it soon.

Good place to eat a hamburger and relax. We were able to sit outside with our dog, which was great. Even though you're "out", it's a covered area with heaters, so it's very nice and cozy -and you don't get wet if it suddenly starts raining. We had the Phil's Twin and BBQ burgers, both were tasty. Service was fast and friendly, and the bathroom was clean and stocked with everything.

The place it self is nice, staff was also nice, 4/5. But the waiting time for the food at the time was an hour. Note that the poor rating is specifically pointed at my pasta and desert...
