Yesterday a golfing Dream came true for me, at last to Play the Crans Sur Sierre Severiano Ballesteros Course, well it was better than I ever imagined, the quality of everything was just perfect. Very freindly and efficient staff with a warm welcome, the whole place just oozes charachter, and you feel the history, charm and excitement. Stepping onto the first tee is something special indeed. The maintainence and quality of the course is exceptional, greens true and quick, gorgeous fairways, but the views!! OMG!! I have player over 800 golf courses before and Crans Sur Sierre just jumped straight into my top 10, thankyou to the staff and the three very freindly members I played with for a day to remember for a long time❤️🇨🇭🏌️‍♂️

If you are lucky enough to be on the Modernity stage and the sun is shining, it‘s worth it - assuming the stage isn’t closed due to weather which it was twice this year (I get that you can’t do anything about weather but it’s also not exactly surprising that there may be harsh conditions at 2200m in April lmao).

There is even a small model of the funiculaire connecting Sierre and Crans-Montana. The time needed to visit the museum is at least one and a half hour. There are two floors with small trains. This museum is a good destination for the whole family. It is included in the Swiss Travel Pass.

A hidden gem in Crans Montana. Ms Boivin was a delight in showing us around her museum of miniature trains. The passion and knowledge she has made this onw of our enjoyable visits in the town. The Swiss Model Train Foundation was created in 2006 showing the history of Swiss trains and the toy-train.

Such an underrated place! You might think that going to see miniatures of trains isn’t worthwhile... well you would be wrong! It was incredibly interesting. The owner gives you a sort of private tour with all kind of information. She is a living book that’s for sure! The kids (4 & 2) absolutely loved every bit of it. Highly recommended!

Amazing museum if you like trains. Ms Boivin will guide you through the visit, explain, and show you their live models. Never had such a great service before!

The one thing that made our visit fantastic was that the park wad totally empty, so we tried all rides many times. Its a basic park and the price was fairly expensive, but there is a really nice view and its great for younger ages. Overall very happy.

Yesterday, my freinds and I went for a "girls hike" purposefully to Bisse du ro. We had an amazing time walking through the paths. Terrific view of nature: the mountains, the trees, the waterfalls in the mountains. It took us about 3 hours from Lac Crans Motanna to the Bisse du ro and back. I must admit that I am scared of height but if I could so it, then you can. I was encouraged when I saw a good number of people hiking around there. The views are wonderful, I strongly recommend this.👌 👍. We were fortunate to be there on Saturday which was the 25th anniversary of the Cantonal Music Festival. Very experienced njce life music from nicely dressed and bueatiful people. We also got free wine🍷 🤪 served to everyone who attended the opening event. 😀

Yesterday we left Crans Montana and followed this trail, which is not overly difficult but really really long (if you are on a tight schedule avoid it). It will eventually lead you to a wonderful dam with a lake. There are several benches on the way where you can rest, but it gets a bit scary at times, especially on the bridge. Overall a lovely attraction, definitely worth a visit.

A very nice walk on this Bisse trail. You can park at “parking du Bisse du ro”. At the parking, there’s also a restaurant. From the parking, it’s a flat walk all the way to the suspension bridge. Takes about 30 minutes without stop. Almost no elevation, crossing several bridges. Some parts can be narrow but they’re all safe and secured. The suspension bridge was only recently built in 2021. From there you can continue to Tzeusier dam. Still, recommended to go only on dry weather days, otherwise some parts can be slippery.

Gorgeous hike but unfortunately the path was damaged andth therefore the road closed. We tried anyway but decided to turn back out of safety reasons. We will definitely come again when it is restored as the little part that we could do was already breathtaking

Too crowded on weekend , mostly tourists, servants were attentive . Sponge was in the tables displayed , i think the sponge should be brought to the table with food for hygiene propose. Or if it keep in the table to be wrap by napkins. Distance were not implemented well . you must continue to follow the hygiene and social distancing rules. Such a fun spot for families! My kids had the best time on the forest adventure course — climbing, ziplining, exploring. It really works for all ages, even the little ones felt included and safe. Nicola and Cathrine were wonderful, so friendly and helpful from start to finish. A great way to spend a few hours outdoors.

We purchased classes for 3 days , 3 hrs each for snowboarding for my daughter. The instructor was mediocre at best. She pretty much was the same level when she started despite having 6 hrs lessons. On the 3rd and last day her bottom was totally blue and barely able to walk. she later told me she had a really bad fall the day before with the instructor conveniently overlooked not informing me , nor advising her that most probably she won't be able to move the next day!! I had purchased insurance for that exact reason, only to find out they do not honor the scam of insurance they sell! they wanted my daughter to go to a doctor, take scans, Xrays , etc to ensure no concussion / fracture is present and then perhaps review the doctors note to decide! I did go to the main office trying to speak to the manager explaining that we are from US and my doctor visit will eb more than the refund for the last day we had to miss, and also being a healthcare provider I can tell my daughter doesn't have a broken bone nor having a concussion yet she refused to refund our last day despite having purchased their insurance that should have covered missing class due to illness, her excuse? my teacher won't get paid!!! OUTRAGEOUS

Wonderful training experience with our trainer Gordan David. We started our training as beginners and we were able to learn ski basics. The trainer was super friendly, helpful and patient with us in training all the techniques.

I took a group and private classes at the ski school. It has been a great experience. The teachers I had at the school were focusing on success and giving a good experience, and in a short amount of time I changed from beginner to intermediate skier. Recommendable!

My girl had a wonderful time during her lessons during eastern last year and christmas break this year. She learned a lot and she really liked it, so she looked forward to get lessons this carnival holidays. Well, such a big disappointment for her en for me.... Starting skiing as an adult is really no easy feat, as we have so much more fear than kids. But Patrick helped me to overcome the fear. Highly recommend him and ESS over any other school on Crans Montana. Also, they've been around for so many years, teaching my husband from when he was a toddler. We're now in our 30s. So that says a lot about their experience. Go with ESS and support local!

We mostly book via ESS for our ski lessons. It is easy to find English speaking coaches. ESS Crans Montana was in particular very accommodating to our many requests. The coaches vary in their expertise so make sure you state your requirements clearly to get a good match. They are very responsive and prompt on phone and via email.

I really appreciate the time and effort he spent making sure I was happy with everything. The rental was great value and the location of the shop is a very easy walk to the main lifts. This is one of those kind of places that you have nostalgia about: small, privately owned, that lives off of expertise and top customer service and building clients for a lifetime. I took my skis to be serviced here and they stood behind their work in a way that is rare today. You can find a chain that will have a massive parking lot and a discount flyer, but if you want to real thing, this is where you should go.

Rented a snowboard for a week, the team was super helpful and accommodating. I will definately use them again next year. My wife also purchased some goggles and the team was very helpful and explained the models and differences.

Having had trouble with ski boots in the past coming here I was very pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and expertise that they exhibited by the end of the process they had my ski boots feeling as comfortable as my hiking boots.
