Outdoor Activities
Praia da Franquia is a popular family beach known for its safety and calm waters, although strong river currents can occur. It is conveniently located in town and offers a sheltered environment, making it perfect for families. The nearby Praia do Farol is another option for beachgoers. For those interested in surfing, the beaches beyond the rivermouth are exposed to the fierce waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
A great sandy beach with many sporting opportunities. Kayaking and stand-up paddling are at the top of the list of activities. But even a normal visit to the beach for sunbathing or a walk along the beach is a great experience on this Copacabana-like beach. On the other side of the river, also accessible by ferry boat, lies the beach of furnas. The Mira River flows into the Atlantic Ocean here. Thus, there is the possibility of bathing in relatively warm river water or in the cooler Atlantic with real surf.
E L — Google review
Great sandy beach with a large space. A good place to walk to the left side and enjoy the rocky formations.
Joseph T — Google review
Beutiful view, very chill atmosphere but also with water activities at hand. I had the most incredible, realigning and relaxing massage with Fabiana, highly recommend ✨ Was a bit cloudy but then the sun came in.
Maria C — Google review
Beautiful beach to spend time. Very clean and near to all hotels. Near beach got two three bars too. Good for kayaking and sunbathing. Easy parking too. Overall a beautiful beach with superb surrounding.
Sadik S — Google review
Lovely beach for a nice walk and dip your feet.
Richard D — Google review
This place is just fantastic shielded against the winds, as the river joints with the ocean. Very cool. Lots of parking space beach bar right there.
Radek A — Google review
Plenty of parking, easy access to the beach, very quiet. Lovely sunny day end of September
Lysanne G — Google review
Wind protected beach at the river mouth. Plenty of fun things to rent to play in the water. Boat rides, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Restaurants at the beach, but packed over lunch hours.

Beach
Praia do Malhao is a well-known beach in the bustling Milfontes area, but it boasts such a vast expanse that finding space for your towel is never a concern, even during the busy summer months. The beach offers ample private areas and showcases a stunning landscape adorned with diverse plant life in the dunes. Impressive cliffs composed of vibrant colored stones further enhance its natural beauty, surpassing even the realms of fantasy or artwork.
Very beautiful beach. A lot of Private space even in the high summer season. Beautyful landscape with various plants in the dunes. Great cliffs of coloured stones show that nature can be more beautiful than fantasy or any painting. The beach is reached from the car park via a beautifully laid out wooden footbridge construction. The footbridges also offer a small circular path with beautiful viewpoints
E L — Google review
We returned 3 times with our daughter of 8 year's old. Very good access and she could play in the waves with safety between two flags... beautiful beach!
Ilona B — Google review
Visited several times in Aug / Sept 2019. Superb beach. Access is so-so, fortunately the authorities have no plans to change it. Keeps the crowds away. Odd that the only negative comments are from Portuguese people. It's not the overcrowded Algarve. Whatever you require (food, drink) must be brought in, no shop. Lifeguards present only during summer season. Not very recommended for young children, as waves, strong current and rocks are pretty much all over. During low tides it's perfectly suitable for all. Absolutely stunning sunsets. North side is a legal nudist beach, genuine one, not the "look there" variety. Thoroughly superb.
José C — Google review
This is really one of the best beaches I've been in Portugal until now. Beautiful scenery, clean beach and water. You can choose from a small beach between the rock's (first parking when you come from the south) or a larger one (last parking). There are a lot of surfers there and you can rent a board. No bar or restaurant to buy drinks or food. You have to bring it yourself.

Forte de São Clemente, also known as Castelo de Vila Nova de Milfontes, is a picturesque bastion fort situated on a rock formation overlooking the river. Completed in 1602 after a devastating raid, this fortified building adds to the charm of the well-maintained village. While not open to the public due to its private ownership, its stunning location and ivy-covered exterior make it a sight to behold.
It is such a nice fortified building. Unfortunately it is not open to the public since it is private property but its location and the ivy covering it are just wonderful. The whole village is very nice and well taken care of and the Forte de São Clemente just adds an additional touch of beauty to it.

Tasca do Celso is a charming restaurant with a rustic-chic atmosphere that offers traditional Alentejan cuisine and an extensive wine list. It's a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts, serving delectable dishes such as fresh fish, grilled meats, and traditional Alentejan snacks. The restaurant also boasts a selection of wines from its own Adega. With its delightful decor and authentic regional dishes, Tasca do Celso provides an experience that celebrates the essence of Alentejo.
We ate here on the first night we arrived and enjoyed it so much that we rebooked for later in the week. The restaurant has such a nice feel to it, and with it being a chilly February evening, the open log fire added to the ambience. We had Pork with Clams and steak on the first visit and Pork with clams (So good), plus lamb chops on the second. They are flexible with swapping the accompanying sides, which was great, and also their recommendations for wine by the glass was most welcome. Definitely recommend 👌
David P — Google review
This place had fantastic food, a cozy atmosphere, and great vibes. I especially loved the mushroom dish and fish soup. The service was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in town.
Nid L — Google review
We visited Tasca do Celso after hearing glowing recommendations from friends—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The service was impeccable, with a special thanks to our waiter Vasyl, who went above and beyond with thoughtful suggestions and warm hospitality. Every dish was a hit—from the flavorful pica pau de atum starter to the rich cataplana de peixe, topped off with a heavenly cheesecake for dessert. The vinho verde that was recommended to us paired perfectly. To round off a perfect evening, we were treated to two rounds of digestifs on the house. A truly great gastronomic experience with a fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Sady — Google review
This was the best meal we’ve had in Portugal and beyond. The 2 that served us were really lovely. Two young people from Ukraine who knew everything about the food they served …. Really impressive. We had a great food experience in this lovely Portuguese town.
Eddie C — Google review
Life's to short to travel second class all the way. Been "eating" our way thru Vila Nova de Milfontes during the week. Tasca do Celso easily become our favourite restaurant, not least because great service. The food... the food is top notch and well presented. However on the "downside" , one of the younger waiters need to read more fact/ history 😂. The equipment on the wall is not for towing behind a monkey and the fish soup contains Monkfish, Sea bass, Manta and Turbut for your info🐟😊
Patrik M — Google review
We come here a few times per year and advise this restaurant to our customers and everyone that visits the costa vincentina. Excellent food, wine and staff, 5 stars.
B — Google review
I accidentally stopped there on my way from south coast and WOW. I ate my best tradition Portuguese meal here - Acorda de Camarao. It is a bread pudding with shrimps and it’s water left from boiling them. All with lots of parsley and garlic and mixed with runny yolk 🫠
Joanna R — Google review
I had high expectations. However, I was disappointed. The octopus salad was amazing. Then came the main meal: cod. The puree that was served with it was almost cold. Meal was underwhelming. Maybe I should have chosen something else. Staff was nice.

Restaurant
A Choupana, a highly recommended restaurant with breathtaking ocean views, is known for its delicious seafood and fish dishes. It offers an incredible location overlooking the sea, and patrons rave about the freshness of their meals. Booking a table at least a week in advance during the summer season is essential due to its popularity.
“A Choupana” is a charming seaside restaurant offering fresh and flavorful seafood. The mussels are a standout, perfectly seasoned and delicious, while the fish dishes are cooked to perfection. With stunning ocean views and a relaxed ambiance, it’s a perfect spot for a delightful meal by the sea.
Adrian J — Google review
Grilled fish was amazing, cooked to perfection, shrimps were a bit dry. Stunning view on the ocean, I'd say cool little spot for a meal on the way.
Paulina K — Google review
Fantastic food with a great view and super friendly service. We had the sardines pate to start with and then a grilled seabass to share between two people. I also indulged in a fig and almond pie. I so wanted to leave a note for the woman who wrote a comment earlier stating that ordering by the kilo is "not their style". I suspect they don't eat in fish restaurants much 😬
Marcela S — Google review
This is a shack facing west over the ocean. If you can be here at sunset you won’t be disappointed. This is simple food done to perfection. We had sea bass and chicken. To say the grill man is master of his art almost understates it. I have eaten grilled fish on the beach all over the world and this was the best I’ve had. He nailed the chicken too. He cooks multiple different fish and cuts or meats and does so at pace. Make a reservation at least a day ahead of time or show up and take your chances, you won’t regret dinning here!
Daniel P — Google review
Incredible 10/10 dining experience. Went to lunch and immediately was in awe of the beautiful surroundings and the restaurant setting. You walk down a scenic staircase going into the open-air restaurant which has fresh fish and meats being grilled by a very skilled chef! Everything was delicious (favorites were the tiger shrimp, clams, chicken and the sea bass). Definitely worth a visit! Great service as well.
Simona S — Google review
Accidentally stumbled into this gem of a restaurant while walking the beach, returned the following night with reservations. Sat outside, ordered the grilled sea bass, which is also cooked outside. Watched the sunset. Perfect evening.
Karyn O — Google review
Right on the beach with a fresh selection of fish. What more could you ask for?
Ashley S — Google review
My husbands fave place to eat when we visited Portugal. We both got different kinds of fish and enjoyed them equally— both were delicious and freshly smoked. Plus when eating here you have and unbothered and scenic view! We would love go back and have since recommended to many friends.

Church
Located just a short distance from the fort, Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Graça is a charming 16th-century church in Vila Nova De Milfontes. Situated at the heart of the town, this small blue and white church was constructed on the grounds of an earlier medieval structure. To reach it from the miradouro, simply head right on Largo de Brito Pais and take the first left.

(Translated by Google) The church is modest and simple; it fits in well with the location. The exterior is in disrepair and needs painting. I was unable to see the inside because it is only open for religious ceremonies. The clock in the tower is slightly ahead of schedule and the bell no longer chimes every hour, which is sad to me. When we visit this pretty little village church located in the center of the village we aspire to a moment of rest, mediation, prayer far from the outside environment. Praia De Vila Nova Milfontes is a must-visit beach in Portugal, offering stunning sands, calm waters, and perfect weather. It's an absolute paradise for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty. The beach provides opportunities for boat rides, surfing, diving, and other activities. With its west-facing location, it boasts amazing views and more peaceful surroundings than river beaches. Visitors can enjoy the refreshing breeze while basking in the sun or swimming in the warm water.
Clean, beginning of May, not many people.

I know it is not always like that. Normally there is wind and the water are not warm the sun is always around anyway. But for my last visit this is what I have to say. Praia de Milfontes is an absolute paradise! With its stunning sands, calm waters, and perfect weather, it's the ultimate beach destination. I enjoyed blissful days basking in the sun, swimming in the warm water, and feeling the refreshing breeze on my skin. It's a must-visit beach for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

The place is amazing, the only let down is the public facilities available for the users, with only 1 public toilet available which is far far away from the beach it's definitely not enough. The rest the views are amazing.

Furnas Beach is a picturesque spot with soft sand and blue waters, offering a pleasant day out. It can be accessed spectacularly or by boat from Franquia Beach. The area provides excellent exposure to Atlantic swell channels and hidden reefs, making it great for surfing. With two access roads and parking facilities, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the sea and the Milfontes fortress. The beach offers ample space for relaxation and activities like hiking along the fisherman trail.
Has pretty much everything you could want on a beach, great sand, giant waves, but also an area suitable for swimming. There are also some spots with very few people.

Just a heads up for other dog owners! This is not a dog friendly beach even though multiple websites says so and earlier reviews here. Our guess is that the sad council of Odemira has recently decided to curfew pets here. We were told upon arrival it’s a 2000€!!! fine to bring pet to the beach. There is a shitty beach by the river which is just mud in low tide.
Kendrick M — Google review
Amazing rock formations and path to walk along cost, great for hike and beach

A wide beach with great surf, fine sand. There are two access roads and parking facilities. The northern access leads to the river Mira. Directly opposite and therefore with a view of the Milfontes fortress. The road ends at the restaurant Oasis, from there the road coming from the southern beach is a one-way street. If you come by car you can reach the beach by keeping the entrance on the left. Here you have a panoramic view of the sea. There is also a restaurant/beach club and cliffside parking with dining areas for a rest. The parking spaces at the beach restaurant allow wheelchair accessible access to the sandy beach.... Don not miss if you are in this area !

Restaurant
Located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Porto das Barcas is a must-visit restaurant offering fresh seafood, Alentejo meats, and modern dishes like ceviches and sardine toasts. The restaurant boasts stunning views of the sunset and provides a romantic or group dining experience with impeccable service. Despite its unique appearance, Porto das Barcas is the largest fishing port in Odemira municipality, playing a vital role in the local economy.
This place is an absolute gem! Highly recommend it. Not only was the food delicious – slightly spicy olives, amazing cheese from the Alentejo region (definitely go for the cheese platter!) – but we were also pleasantly surprised to be served peeled shrimp, which is rare in Portugal where they usually come with the shell. On top of the unique and flavorful dishes, the service was outstanding. We asked the waiter if we could pay our bill early so we could catch the sunset and return to finish our meal, but he kindly told us to relax and enjoy the sunset first, then pay when we were done. Such a thoughtful gesture! He even covered our plates to keep the food fresh while we were out. The restaurant also has a cozy fire heater and blankets to keep warm, and the view of the ocean is simply breathtaking. Definitely a 10/10 experience! Perfect spot for an unforgettable evening

We stopped at this restaurant when we were exploring Vila Nova de Mil Fontes and were pleasantly surprised!! The place is nicely decorated, the staff was super nice and welcoming and the food just delicious! We brought our dog and they were happy to accept him at the balcony. Km 17 coming from Porto Covo. Finally a café for well deserved drinks after walking around in the sand. We had a fresh orange juice, a pineapple and strawberry juice and the lemonade. They were all great and refreshing, especially the mint and lime lemonade. Maybe my review is biased by my thirst to be fulfilled. Anyway, also great cushions to seat and relax. And there is a restaurant as well if you want proper food.

Thanks to Google we found this out-of-the-way gem. Very characterful restaurant, overlooking the sea. Easy parking for our motorcycles and a welcome for us scruffs. Food superb. Excellent starters (you get upsold), tacos with big juicy shrimp, tomato soup and salad.

Fabulous. Do NOT believe the bad reviews. They almost put me off. - yes there is a (delicious) array of nibbles as couvert, but they are very clearly priced on the menu - talking of menu, it is wonderful, lots of variety and inventive. I had 4 starters because I couldn't choose! But no main course... - staff were delightful. Who are the bad staff that reviews complain about? They must have all been on a day off. We had 3 people look after us, all pleasant, helpful and efficient. - do book, it is a popular spot so don't expect a table if you don't book - you cannot book a table on the terrace, so book early (1230) and be prompt - if you sit inside, you will not suffer, it is lovely too!

Pátio Alentejano, an informal eatery located outside the city center, is highly recommended by locals alongside other restaurants such as Ritual, Tasca do Celso, and Porto das Barcas. This charming establishment offers a variety of grilled seafood dishes and skewers served with fries and potatoes. With its diverse menu options ranging from fried cuttlefish to the traditional Carne de Porco a Alentejana, Pátio Alentejano caters to different preferences.
Food was good. We had the pork with seafruit. Staff was nice. There was one waiter who spoke good English- the others were a bit shy and reluctant to serve the foreign tourists. Pity, because they were all sweet and sign language often does the trick. One dish serves two- that is what a local told us beforehand- we found it to be true and we are good eaters. We arrived upon opening time and got a table right away.

We were recommended this restaurant by a local, and for a reasonably priced night out, it was nice. The cuttlefish starter was simple but enjoyable, and the Octopus stew was huge, but delicious. I am so glad we only ordered one main meal, as recommended. The ambience and service were just ok.

We had a very good meal and very affordable. The atmosphere is good although we would have prefer to sit in the inside room. Staff is friendly and the portions are big, we had the octopus salad for starter and we shared a veal skew and it was enough for two.
Francisco F — Google review
What a fun place with amazing fresh grilled fish! We had sea bass and red snapper. Wow! And the local cake. The waiter even deboned the fish for us. Loved it.
Valerie P — Google review
Recommended by locals. Excellent food and service. Nice atmosphere.
VaL — Google review
Almost everything about this place was alright, but nothing was very good. We had a reservation and were seated right away. It took 14 minutes for a server to come to our table. The drinks arrived fairly quickly, and then we waited 26 minutes for our food. The rice dish was good, but the turkey steak resembled turkey jerky; it was very dry. The house red wine was very good. The service was pretty awful; to get anything we had to struggle to track down a server. No one ever checked to see if we needed anything. So, we didn't stay for coffee or dessert.
Rod T — Google review
Good - simple - local food - main portions are large - great if you are on the fisherman’s trail. Excellent value - no nonsense service.
Michael W — Google review
Always a good choice. Everytime I am staying im Milfontes I going to get one table for dinner. It is always helpful to make a reservation because it is not a secret anymore that you will find there great fresh meals with good quality and prices. Always very friendly and helpful staff !

Praia do Malhao is a stunning beach located near Vila Nova de Milfontes, within the Sudoeste Alentejano National Park. This picturesque shoreline boasts dunes, cliffs, and white sands perfect for sunbathing. Protected by the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano, it offers a wild and rugged appearance that attracts surfers seeking tremendous waves.
Our preferred beach in Portugal. Long sand stretch, dunes, warm and fun waters
Fernando G — Google review
Really great. The place is amazing. Odemira municipality should take better care of the WCs.
Carlos D — Google review
For me one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. No public transportation. Free big parking. No bar and no toilet. Trash bins at the access (please don’t leave thrash on the beach!). Wooden decks & stairs to access the beach. In low holiday season, during the week no people. Peace and sound of the ocean.
Anna L — Google review
Visited 2019 Splendid ! No other way to describe it. Both the South, family oriented, as the North area (naturist). The north is quieter, no peeping Toms. Fine sand, water is cold (Atlantic), fresh water piped from natural sources. No shops, so take what you need (take your rubbish home please. Access road is not tarred, thus avoiding the big crowds. Hopefully it will stay so. Google maps has a perfect picture of it, inclusive surf. As for the sunset, well... Splendid! Very much looking forward to April '22
José C — Google review
Huge sandy beach. Ideal for surfing and playing with the waves. Be careful there are plenty of rocks, which mostly are reviled when the tide is low. Amazing spot to enjoy the sunset. There is also a nudist part at the northeast part of the beach.

Lighthouse Beach, also known as Farol Beach, is a picturesque and sheltered beach located in Vila Nova de Milfontes. It holds historical significance due to the environmental disaster caused by the Marao ship accident in 1989, resulting in one of Portugal's largest oil spills. The beach offers stunning views where the Mira River meets the Atlantic Ocean and is adorned with rock formations left behind by visitors.
Beautiful beach and for us definitely and indeed one of the most beautiful of Portugal (deferent than the beaches in the Algarve region, but certainly not inferior!). The river Mira which flows into the sea gives an extra cachet and an amazing view ! You should visit this place when you are in the area… .
Frank V — Google review
Perfect place to catch the sunset. Fishermen in the background, a nice vibe amongst other sunset watchers, and easy to get out of the wind behind a small wall that surrounds the parking.
Nicholas R — Google review
Very interesting beach, with rocks, sand and zen trees from stones. It has good waves, but because of the rocks in the water it could be pretty dangerous. We have enjoyed this beach and it's environment.
Evaldas P — Google review
A beautiful beach with good views has not only soft, watched their ways but also nice fresh water flowing in from inland
MrRyan — Google review
West facing beach so more wind and cooler waters. More peaceful and nature than the river mouth beaches.
Jeanmarie B — Google review
Just beautiful, unspoiled, not crowded, and best of all, no jet skis!!
Andrew H — Google review
At Vila Nova de Milfontes you have the Farol beach...one of the two beaches on each side of Mira River (praia das Furnas is the one on the other side) when it meets with the Atlantic ocean. Beautiful to see where the river ends and where the oceanic waves begin...

Fun beach with a surprisingly good wave with a bit of swell. Hundreds of little rock towers too. More than I’ve ever seen I’m my lifetime.

SurfMilfontes Surf School in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Alentejo is highly praised for its exceptional beginner lessons. The instructors are described as kind, motivating, and enthusiastic, providing perfect communication and small class sizes to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. Students appreciate the personalized attention and encouragement they receive, even when facing challenging wave conditions. The school's structured teaching approach is commended for helping learners quickly regain their skills or experience surfing for the first time with confidence.
Great guys. We did family lesson for the 4 of us. Paged a lot of attention to the kids. Highly recommended. Very easy going teacher-Alfonso. Also Malhao beach is a great spot.
Gonzalo C — Google review
I took a wonderful surf lesson from three great surf teachers. The beach was wonderful and the tips were great. Still need more practice to adapt the remarks from the teachers into my skill set. They were really open for any kind of question and due to the small group size I received lots of input. I’d recommend the surf school and also the beach that we have visited. Fantastic sandy beach with good waves. In case you want to borrow a surf board for a session by yourself, you can go to the beach where they have a small outpost site to get boards and suits.
Headbanger H — Google review
Fun and friendly guys, individual Feedback and Overall Just a good experience. They alternate between two beaches depending on the waves - so all levels of Surfers and learners will find good conditions. Transport from Milfontes is also available (free). Greetings and keep it Up Guys :)
Alexander G — Google review
We had such an amazing time! The instructors were super friendly and explained everything really well — I learned so much in the session and felt more confident with every try . The waves were incredible, and the beach was beautiful. Booking a lesson was super quick and easy too. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn to surf or just enjoy great vibes by the ocean! 🤙 Best regards Antonia& Sarah

Cool Guys and good equipment. Me and my two boys had a privat lesson. It has been a lot of fun. The teachter was able the basics very good so we could stand on some nice waves. Everything was fine! Thank you guys!

I had an awesome time. Great instructors. Sara was great. I really learned a lot from her. Her feedback was essential and her teaching method very efficient. Communication with the school was great. We had to switch hours because of winds conditions and it went super smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to surf with them again

Sara was the best surf teacher i've had among many experiences across Europe and Australia ! great equipment, nice team, not too many people in the same collective lesson, and best surf ever on a gorgeous beach :-) she also took care of my 6 year old kid with a lot of kindness, attention & enthusiasm. thank you so much !

Most beautiful cliffs. Accessible. From here one can walk a bit North or South along the trail to obtain really cool ocean and cliff views. For those who need it, accessible wooden ramps allow a safe viewing of the main areas.

Beautiful lighthouse with a soccer field situated right next to it. Gorgeous cliffs. Parkings available but not for campers.
Connection E — Google review
Spectacular views of the cliffed sided inlets washed by the blue/green coloured Atlantic ocean. The headland is honeycombed with walks being used by many multi national hikers. The head land is watched over by a majestic lighthouse quietly doing its job.
Michael B — Google review
Although the lighthouse is not accessible, this is a perfect place to take a walk/hike across the rugged coast line on the public trail along the cliffs. The views are spectacular and because the more difficult parts have been flattened out, it’s also accessible with a stroller. Be sure to bring your football, because there is a one of a kind pitch right next to the wild sea:

Beautiful place for a walk, but do take care of walking outside the paths. Plenty parking. No toilets. Tip: The sunset is a beauty.

Thank you so much! Carlos, the hikers' angel of Rota Vicentina, saved me with my much to heavy backpack on the historical way. Together, we found a creative solution for the storage my luggage. He helped me to sort out even more unnesesary things. In addition to that, he is such a warm hearted human beeing and helped with planing the upcoming hike. Big recommendation!
Elena S — Google review
Carlos was absolutely fantastic and went out of his way to make our experience easy! He transported our luggage for us along four sections of Rota Vicente. Communication via WhatsApp was easy. He was super responsive and very friendly. He also really went above and beyond for us because we wanted to make a 12 pm bus on our last day so he not only carried our luggage to us but met us early and drove us to the bus stop. We really appreciated it, especially after the first transport company wanted to charge us for two bags because our bag was overweight. I cannot recommend this company enough!
Morgan M — Google review
Carlos was dependable and kind. He moved our bags each day of our hike and they were always waiting at our destination at the correct spot. He was also helpful, sharing a map and offering us a ride once when we couldn’t find a taxi. Overall he is a great person to hire for any adventure you might be going on and a lovely person in general!
Ava B — Google review
Nature Transfers handled our luggage transfers while we hiked sections of the Fisherman's Trail. I cannot overstate how happy we were with the service provided and speed of communication! Not lugging the extra weight was a fantastic decision....the Trail sections are challenging enough without it. (I promise!) We were so grateful for the prompt communication by Carlos - we had complete peace of mind over whether the luggage would be there to meet us at the end of the day. Well Done Nature Transfers and thank you!
Fss C — Google review
Carlos is absolutely reliable, on time and has good tips! We booked nature activities for transfer of luggage and also taxi-service between walking sections on the Trilho des pescadores. When we arrived we had a meeting where we agreed on pick-up times and Carlos was very flexible to adjust the schedule to our wishes. We were lucky that all transfers where direct transfers without additional stops. Thanks for the great service. Highly recommended.
Peter B — Google review
Carlos helped me get from Vila Nova de Milfontes to Porto Covo when I couldn't find a taxi after doing that section of the Fisherman's Trail. I believe people usually schedule in advance with him, but I called and he picked me up literally 15 minutes later. Very friendly, helpful, and really seems to care about people. Definitely would recommend!
Maria A — Google review
Carlos transported two of us after hiking the Fisherman’s trail. He was very responsive and our query was same day. His communication before and during the transport was outstanding. Professional. On time. Sociable. Very relaxed, flexible and patient. Gave us great local information during the travel. Highly recommend him! Also keep in mind his business is very versatile and he can adapt to your needs most likely. He does not just transport luggage in other words. A man of many talents.
Michele B — Google review
Carlos from Nature Transfers was AMAZING to work with!!! We contacted him relatively last minute and he was very quick to reply through email and then we communicated through what’s app. He was always so kind, helpful and was even so friendly with our little 8 month old baby :) I would recommend using his luggage transfer service 💯 !! Obrigada Carlos!!!

(Translated by Google) What a paradise I discovered as a child. I was 18 years old when I visited the Costa Vicentina for the first time, with my friends in minivans, Fiat 127s, etc. Today, I am 49 years old in a motorhome with my two beloved children. After losing count of the number of times I have visited, I returned. It is still practically the same, with the exception of some local tourism. A place that is practically deserted is so beautiful. The only fear I have is that by writing this I might influence you to visit it. But if I have to, because we have to share the best there is, for me this is the best. The photos I have posted show how special the place is. In short, it was one of the best days of my life.
