Awesome bit of history.. it happens to be "one of the most photographed places in Canada" ... so here it is..
Les E — Google review
Just a bridge over a deep canyon, but an amazing view and a bit of an adrenaline rush since you can see th canyon below through the metal grating. Nice walkways on both sides.
Michael S — Google review
Amazing, probably one of the most impressive bridges in British Columbia.
Michael G — Google review
Love this iconic bridge, Let's me know I'm Home and it's a good tourist attraction, when walking across, if you look down you can see 100+ feet below and see Skeena River in all its glory. Plus our mountain is always a nice for pics.
Aaron M — Google review
Nice little trails to hike but be bear aware
Leon W — Google review
Scared me trying to walk out on it, so gets a SOLID 5 STARS It may be a really cool steel bridge but you can see the bottom as you walk out on the steel grates......driving too 😎 A beautiful canyon below as the river flows and hits the walls, changing directions Spots to park nearby to walk back for photos and if you dare.......walk out 🐱
Ross J — Google review
Cool one-way at a time bridge with a few different small trails to follow and explore the surrounding area. Nice views to sit and enjoy for a bit too.
Maxx W — Google review
A must see on a tourists itinerary, from the Hazelton side you can park, get out and walk the bridge, not a place for people who are afraid of heights.

The Estuary Boardwalk in Stewart, British Columbia is a 278-foot raised boardwalk that offers an immersive experience of the estuary ecosystem. It's a great spot for birdwatching, especially during the early morning or late afternoon. The boardwalk features educational plaques about local flora, fauna, and geography along the way. Visitors can also enjoy stunning views of the mountains and diverse birdlife while taking a peaceful stroll through this beautiful setting.
What a gem of a place. I took a 20 minute stroll out here early one morning. The boardwalk itself is very well maintained. You may think "what's the point" as you can see the views from the road - but, get out there and you will feel immersed in the nature and beauty of the location - you won't be disappointed.
Mark R — Google review
It was a pleasant walk with benches, a gazebo, and interpretive signs about the local flora and fauna. There is no entrance fee and it is located near the Stewart Visitor Centre.
Plumeria B — Google review
A must-see when visiting Stewart BC. Enter at park adjacent the Tourist Information centre. There are several educational info plaques describing local flora, fauna, and geography located at handy platforms along the way.

Provincial park
Kleanza Creek Provincial Park is a stunning and serene natural oasis that offers a variety of activities for visitors. The park is open from May to September and provides opportunities for snowshoeing, hiking, white water kayaking, picnicking, and camping. The campground is well-maintained with pit toilets and a beautiful creek running through the property. Visitors can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and access water from a hand pump.
Kleanza Creek is one of the most peaceful, beautiful accessible spots near Terrace. Camping creekside the sound of the water running over the rocks lulls you to sleep. The hike up and over the ridge to the impressive creek bed behind the pond is a must. The view from the top if the rock face is worth staying and enjoying. The fact that there are rarely too many people makes it special. If it weren't a bit isolated it wouldn't be the same. Seeing the spawning salmon run is life affirming.
M S — Google review
Nice campsites with standard amenities. You'll be close to wildlife and a gorgeous river. Stunning hike and fantastic picnic area. Find a place to plunge into the icy river!
Susan W — Google review
Wow what a gem!! Very simple and awesome campground, well kept including pit toilets and has a beautiful creek running through the property. Water is available from a hand pump making the experience even more fun. Janine is a terrific host and we really enjoyed chatting with her. If you like basic camping and are on your way to Prince Rupert for the day. I recommend booking your site on your way up and come back after your day in Prince Rupert. Thanks Janine, awesome park!!
Denis D — Google review
Great, quiet spot this early in the season. We were the only over night guests though the beautiful day use area had lots of visitors. The location was beautiful, the camp sites nice and the host was great.
Amanda O — Google review
Kleanza Creek is such a lovely, breath of fresh air. The whole park is gorgeous and soothing to the soul. You can enjoy it anytime of the year although the gates are only open May 5, 2022 – Sept. 19, 2022. There is so much to do here. A few activities I've personally enjoyed are snowshoeing, hiking and white water kayaking. It's also a great place for leisure, if you wanna just sit back and enjoy the water, have a picnic or go camping this is a guaranteed brilliant experience.
Raven M — Google review
Beautiful, well maintained campground and picnic area. Gorgeous view of the water fall. Cleanest pit toilets we have ever seen (they actually smell like cedar and not like an outhouse!).
Jenifer H — Google review
It's a stunning park about 15 mins drive from Terrace. Well maintained campsite and some beautiful trails along with the creek. It's a great spot where you can spend time and relax with family, friends, or your pets.
King M — Google review
Lovely little park! The operators are the friendliest we have ever met, and they keep the grounds well cleaned and accessible. Bathrooms are pit toilets, but still kept very clean. Campsites are almost all well shaded and quite private, and sites along the creek blot out any noise of fellow campers with the rushing water. The creek itself is very pretty, with a viewpoint at the top of a cliff available after a quick 1.5km walk. Will definitely be going back!

Hli Goothl Wilp-Adokshl Nisga’a, the Nisga’a Museum, located in Laxgaltsap near Terrace, is a breathtaking tribute to the rich heritage of the Nisga'a people. The museum's architecture draws inspiration from traditional longhouses and features captivating exhibits that include an impressive Ancestors Collection with artifacts like masks and headdresses from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Our second visit to this excellent collection housed in a beautiful building. Last year we had a very good tour guided by Clarence. This year we were there when staffing was low and no tours available. Although well worth the visit, a guided visit is preferable for the insights and information that it provides visitors.
Pasquale V — Google review
Pearl gave us a great guided tour, sharing a lot of very interesting and informative stories and background of this amazingly rich culture. Beautiful museum and tons of cool artifacts with knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.
Brandon B — Google review
An amazing experience. So many lovely artifacts and knowledgeable staff to answer questions. I am not exaggerating to say our visit to the Nisga'a Nation was life changing.
Tracey P — Google review
Very beautiful museum. The displays are so close & stunning, you’ll want to touch them (but don’t). Many of them are not behind glass so you can see them up close. There are invisible alarms to deter you from getting too close though. The reason I am only giving it 3 stars is there is no description or stories to help you understand the history. While it’s a lovely exhibit, I like to learn & it was unfortunate this museum did not meet my expectations. I took a picture of an item and had to ask the woman at the front desk what it was. She was so kind and helpful, and shared her knowledge, which I greatly appreciated at the time.
Chantelle P — Google review
This is an amazing facility with stunning exhibitions and totally amazing staff. As a former Education Department Manager for the Art Gallery of Alberta, I know what it takes to research, connect with and deliver an interpretive tour to the general public. The young woman who delivered our tour experience was engaging, thoughtful and made our learning experience quite memorable. As a resident and member of the nation upon which this Gallery stands, she imparted a sincerity and truth to her knowledge sharing that you simply wouldn't have in another exhibition setting.
Nicole R — Google review
Such a lovely museum. The entrance is incredible. The collection is impressive and a great insight into Nisag'a culture and history. Make sure you take advantage of the guided tour. Try and get there at least an hour before they close so you can get the tour and have some time on your own. Everyone working there was lovely and knowledgeable! Thanks for having us.
Susanna S — Google review
We drove a long ways to see the museum...I phoned the museum yesterday from Terrace and the lady said they were open today. Well guess what! We get here and they are still CLOSED. I am in my late 70's so it is the last crack at seeing this place!
John B — Google review
I was amongst a group of 6 ladies who arranged a guided tour of the museum. It was a young girl who gave the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great detail about all the artifacts. The museum is beautiful and do is the gift shop. We then participated in a workshop and made leather medicine bags. The entire Nass valley is worth visiting.

Heritage Park Museum is a captivating destination that offers a deep dive into the rich history of settlement in Terrace. Nestled on its grounds are ten distinct buildings, eight of which are original log structures carefully relocated from various spots around the area. Inside these charming buildings, visitors can explore fascinating artifact displays that showcase the local history, highlighting key industries such as logging, mining, trapping, farming, and tourism. The museum is not just about learning; it’s also a delightful experience for families!
Great place for time travel. Loved the school collection of small and large desks, and their little library. There is also a raspberry bush variety from the 1930s, still growing sweet. And, there is a fabulous wooden refrigerator!!!

Great knowledgable staff! Lots to do and see. Sensory supplies for sight and hearing impaired Wheelchair accessible Park next door so have a picnic, check out the Skernaview lookout and treat yourself to some swag in the gift shop at the museum after you enjoy a tour if days gone by

What a beautiful tribute to the past! This collection of working cabins, from the smithery to the one room schoolhouse is a treat! We loved the sweet kitty cat who seemed to want to be our guide, too!

A good history of settlement in Terrace. Ten different buildings sit on the site; eight of these are original log structures relocated to the Museum grounds from various locations in the Terrace area. Within each of the buildings there are artefact displays exhibiting the local settlement history of Terrace and the surrounding area. Displays highlight industries such as logging, mining, trapping, farming, and tourism, as well as the general ways of life of newcomers to this area. Tours are offered. Entrance by donation.

Love this place!! They always make it fun for the kids, whether its Haloween or Easter, the kids always have a blast. We also enjoy the car shows here as well. They always have lots of fun stuff going on here. The kids especially love the pony rides on Canada day as well 👍
Josh K — Google review
Kind of disappointing that there was no mention of the original people who probably did a lot to help

Such a beautiful place to go. All by donation! Love that they do special events during holidays. Also, if you have the time and a group with kids the tour is well worth it if they are able! Super informative. We had kids ranging from 5 to 10 and they all enjoyed learning about the history!

Cute little area with Huge tree's for folks who don't get to see them often, seems one was struck by lightning a while back but the trunk alone is still massive. The main pathway is pretty easy to navigate, and there is a lot of room for some fun pictures~ Absolutely gorgeous Flora.

Very cool little spot to check out. The trees are enormous. Worth checking out if you are interested in photography and it has many opportunities for some interesting shots. My fiancé and I stopped in our way to a fishing trip on the west coast and I am glad we did.
Brittany — Google review
It's such a cool giant spruce tree in the park. Also, It's the biggest tree I've ever seen so far in my life. Well maintained, and parking available on site.
King M — Google review
A great look at some natural giants. Parking is easy and the trail is quite short. The tree is dying, but the cycle is inevitable. Don't let the negative comments detour you. If you can, head a bit further down the road to access a beautiful riverside trail.
Brilianna R — Google review
Going to see the Giant Spruce is a experience you can not miss. It will give you a feeling of awe as you stand looking up under the majestic trees. The trees seem as if they are monarchs of time.

Chances Terrace boasts a decent number of machines, strategically spaced for social distancing. The restaurant in the establishment is also commendable, serving delectable cuisine. There are ample open seats at the slot machines and the bathrooms are well-maintained. This awesome little casino offers a perfect pitstop for relaxation and rejuvenation. When it comes to dinner, patrons can expect excellent food quality and top-notch service. The friendly staff add to the overall enjoyable experience at Chances Terrace.
When to chance for dinner food was excellent and service was great.

Great service & good food (Lunch time) You can play slots as you wait for your food. The ambiance is a little too "romantic" as they are having issues with lighting during renovations. But other than that, everything was great. The server was very helpful and friendly when we had questions about the menu. She came to look for me, playing the slots, to let us know when our food arrived. She was very quick to get refills and check if we were doing ok. 10/10 would recommend
Jasmine D — Google review
Ridiculous place. Came with a few friends to enjoy a Friday night. Gave it a few 'whoops' around the blackjack table which apparently isn't allowed and resulted in the five of us being kicked out. Many people around us confirmed we did not disrupt them and thought we were fine. They accused us as flipping them the bird which was inaccurate we will never return
Alyssa B — Google review

One digital black jack table and the rest was virtual slot machines. Regardless I am not one who goes to the casino but disappointed regardless. Secondly a colleague of mine received her food with a long hair in it. The staff said the whole table would be comped which made them think they really take ownership and responsibility for their errors. Around 30min later staff came to them and said they must pay the whole bill and that only the meal with the hair would be comped. Regardless this doesn't impact me as I arrived after the events transpired but it just seemed like something that should have been dealt with differently.
Adian L — Google review
Probably the worst customer service I have had. I brought in a back back multiple times. One evening they decide to do a bag check. The guy asked to see what was in my bag so I put the contents on the floor from the bag so the contents were visible. He didn't like my attitude and told me to leave. I left and went back another night because this scenario was an one time thing. The second time I went in, the same security guard asked to see my ID. I gave it to him but he was doing something different. He was looking at at and clicking a this computer mouse. This was untypical so I grabbed my I'd back and left. He was standing with it on the desk for a while. When I went to talk to the security manager he said he agreed with his security staff to ask me to leave and when I asked about my ID, he said the guard was trying to put a year ban on my presence at the casino. It is already over a year since the first situation.

If you have just driven from Stewart, you can take a break at Gitwangak Battle Hill National Historic Site. Here, you can stretch your legs while discovering fascinating facts about the renowned Gitwangak warrior chief 'Nekt and his mother's escape from capture and forced marriage to a Haida chief on an island near the coast. This site also provides information about the historical conflicts between local First Nations tribes and how they united to create a fortified village.
We went here for Mother's day and thoroughly enjoyed the history lessons. The views from the hilltop are spectacular. The photo displays are very informative. It was truly worth the time and effort to climb the hill and learn about the natives.
Bhushana I — Google review
This site was the location of a fortified First Nations camp. While all the fortifications and houses are gone, the site and explanatory signs provide a lot of information about the people that lived there. Great views of the river and mountains from the site, but be prepared to go up and down a dozen flights of stairs to get there.

Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park, located in northwestern BC along Highway 37, offers a remote camping experience with drive-in access. The park is known for its serene and quiet atmosphere, allowing visitors to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature such as loons calling in the morning and evening. While there are no services provided, the attentive camp host ensures that the park is well-maintained. Visitors can engage in activities like canoeing and fishing on the lake while enjoying clean and scenic campgrounds.
We LOVED Kinkaskan Provincial Park. You take your chances with no reservations, but we arrived on Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend and not only were we able to get a site, we were able to get a site on the lake! It was gorgeous! And so quiet. And you could hear the loons call in the morning and evening. So peaceful! But, there are no services. You need to come with your own water and use a sani-dump elsewhere when you leave. There is no cell service and no wi-fi. The camp host is attentive and helpful. There is firewood available for sale. There are numerous spaces for big rigs and the road is manageable for big rigs.

We stayed 2 nights 3rd week of August. Bugs were not too bad! We arrived fairly early in the day and got a great spot on the lake - easy kayak in and out. The Park Attendant, Alenna Kasner, was so friendly, quick to make the firewood rounds ($10/bundle - have cash) each day and the park is maintained beautifully, including very clean restrooms. This is a great place to camp a couple of days if you are driving down the Cassiar/Stewart Highway.
Gaylen H — Google review
Beautiful spot, a lot of the campsites located right next to Kinaskan Lake. The person at the time who was looking after campground was very friendly and full of local information. Try and get here before 3 pm then there is a good chance for a lakefront campsite.
GWoo — Google review
Unbelievable views and most of the campsites are literally right on the water. One of the nicest provincial park campgrounds is ever seen. Has outhouse for bathrooms and I think there might be electrical hook ups. Very well kept and has a swimming dock and boat launch as well.

Wow! This is such a beautiful, peaceful, incredibly well cared for park. We’ve been RV’ing since 2017 and feel that this is one of the best “campground” style parks we’ve ever stayed at. Alenna is incredible and so passionate about the park- it shows in every detail! We are in a 35’ rig with a tow and the other party in our group is in a 45’ rig with a tow and we were able to maneuver fine. These types of parks aren’t necessarily designed for big rigs so as you can expect in these areas- it might be a little tight or you might not put all of your slides out. Totally normal up here. The picnic tables were beautiful, the spaces were immaculate, even the trash receptacles were spotlessly clean! This was a fantastic stop over for one night of dry camping for us on our way to Alaska.

Very clean and scenic campground. I highly recommend spending a night or more. The best quiet place to stop on the drive north or south and the fishing is good as well. Firewood is available and the sites are spotless

Seeley Lake Provincial Park is a delightful and picturesque destination that showcases a magnificent panorama and offers visitors a small yet exquisite sandy beach for day use and swimming. The park boasts convenient amenities such as picnic tables and toilets. Anglers can find cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, and pan-sized fish in the lake. Nature enthusiasts will be thrilled to find a bird viewing stand amidst the captivating surroundings. Additionally, the lake provides an ideal environment for swimmers.
It was a very nice break. Has a camping area that was empty. Picnic tables spread around. And a pumpjack for fresh water. A taste I've never had. I don't feel stronger, younger, or wiser, it did not make me ill and I don't want more.

One of my favorite places to stop and stretch my legs during road trips down highway 16. There's a short trail that brings you to a viewing platform of the lake and the gorgeous mountains beyond.

Beautiful park but lake access is limited. The sites are very nice, picnic tables are new and smooth. Pit toilets are clean and only one fresh water source for the whole park. Good prices and we will be back.

11:45am We broke down right in front of the park and coasted into the parking lot. We called AAA and it would be over 6 hours for the tow Thank goodness we landed here( with our dog). Great park to spend our time waiting! We had cell phone service, hooters(restrooms), and a great hike. The lake wasn’t maintained well enough to show the true beauty of the area, but we are thankful for the park. Camp ground was closed, but really very nice and very well maintained.

This is an awesome little park with a stunning view and offers a small, sandy beach on the lake to visitors for day use and swimming. Picnic tables and toilets are available. There are cutthroat trout and rainbow trout in this lake but mostly pan sized fish. There is also a bird viewing stand for nature lovers, and the lake is perfectly fine for swimming.

The New Hazelton Waterfall and Lookout Trailhead is a popular spot for nature lovers, offering stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The trail to the lookout is steep but rewarding, providing an opportunity to stretch your legs and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. Visitors can enjoy a short, easy walk on a wide gravel trail to reach the beautiful waterfall, with opportunities for picnicking and enjoying the picturesque surroundings.
Found another waterfall and my legs needed the stretch. Path is awesome and the falls are beautiful. Local woman offered to take my picture. Her pup knows the command to pose so I said I would love a picture with them! Got nice and close and my feet slipped in but I stayed dry as my hands were free. My shoes were totally not for hiking but didn't know I'd want to get that close! Another great find.

Ski & Snowboard Areas
There are numerous ways to depict the experience at Skeena Cat Skiing Inc., but finding the right words is truly challenging. The individual tents are comfortable, cozy, and having a portable toilet for emergencies during the night is fantastic. The main lodge provides warmth and an incredible ambiance, while the hot tub serves as an added perk. The food is outstanding, and the terrain offers unforgettable moments.
If you're looking for an authentic, next-level shredding experience, Skeena Cat Skiing is the place to go. The terrain is incredibly fun with a ton of variety, and the guides take you to so many epic spots. The views are absolutely breathtaking—the photos don’t even come close to doing it justice. The guides are fantastic—super knowledgeable, friendly, and just awesome people to ride with. After a full day riding, the main tent area is the perfect spot to chill—it's super comfortable and has a great vibe. The sleeping tents are cozy and warm, making it easy to rest up for the next day's adventure. I can't say enough about how rad and accommodating the entire staff is. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have an unforgettable experience. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal—we ate so well all week! If you're after a true, unforgettable riding adventure, Skeena Cat Skiing is where it's at. Huge thank you to everyone there that made this trip so rad!
Kevin W — Google review
Wow! So many ways I want to describe the experience but it really is hard to put into words! The individual tents are comfy, warm, and the addition of a porta-potty for midnight emergencies is wonderful! The main lodge is warm, the atmosphere is amazing, the hot tub is an added bonus, and the food...incredible! The terrain...lifetime memory making! Our guides were knowledgeable, cautious, fun, and we skied amazing powder 3 days in a row! The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional and I can't recommend Skeena enough! If you are on the fence, get off the fence and book ASAP! You won't regret it!

Skeena! This is one of my favorite cat operations , I’ve been 4 times now and look forward to coming back. The terrain access is never ending and can accommodate a range of abilities. Lodging and food is well done but is still very personable. Thanks for an epic trip to the whole Skeena team, see you next year !
Ahmad H — Google review
The Skeena Catskiing experience is exceptional. Basecamp may be no frills but the terrain is deluxe, powder is deeply plush and staff are genuine. We stayed for 3 nights and skied 3 days and I don’t think I could have skied another run I was so exhausted after 13K vert/day. (Would highly recommend renting a powder specific board from the ski shop in Smithers.) Staying at basecamp meant we were on the first run each morning within 10 minutes of leaving camp in the cat. Guides are diligent about keeping the pace moving and want to get max runs in each day. The guides worked hard to open new terrain on the last day. Each day it snowed and it just got deeper and deeper. As a snowboarder I appreciated the solid fall lines to get out and that most runs ended right on a road so I felt confident I wouldn’t get too far off track if I wanted to explore. The most unexpected experience of the trip was the interaction with the unpretentious Skeena staff. They are obviously integral to keeping the operation running, but their grit, determination and enthusiasm for what they are creating in the B.C. backcountry is inspiring. The chef created tasty and nutritious meals that kept us well fueled. We researched a lot of catski places but chose Skeena because it is the farthest north, reports the coldest temps and moisture is always around.
Charley T — Google review
The most amazing weekend experience! Skiing is unbeatable. Fresh tracks every single time. Close to flying. The guides know the mountain incredibly well and take you to terrain that has the best conditions and is most suited to the group (thanks Doug). Just wow. The lodge and glamping style accomodation are comfortable and cozy complete with a sauna (run by our star bar man Vitaly). The food is incredible (thank you Chef Elliot). In general, all the staff are incredibly friendly and do everything possible to make sure everyone is having a wonderful and safe time. If I could spend every weekend here I would.
Rachel P — Google review
We skied with Skeena in early March 2025 and had an absolutely amazing time. This is a no-frills, skiing-focused operation and the terrain matches it. It's a trek to get there, but that's a part of the adventure and makes it great. The terrain is awesome - incredible views, variety of high alpine and tree skiing (came in handy for cloudy days as well as sunny days), plenty of diversity so you're not skiing the same thing twice, and the powder was absolutely amazing (light, fluffy, and soft!). The accommodations are a perfect match as well. The tents have everything you need and nothing you don't. Sauna was awesome, everything was really clean, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The main lodge building was very relaxing, cozy, and had everything we needed. Great bar and the food was awesome. The guides were so knowledgeable and friendly that they made everyday amazing. They were very focused on safety and avoiding issues, but still let everyone have a blast skiing and exploring great terrain. Overall I can't recommend it enough - we will definitely be back!
Brett P — Google review
Best snow, best atmosphere, best cat skiing experience hands down. I keep coming back to Skeena Cat Skiing and just can't get enough. When there is a lack of snow in the rest of the province they have knee deep pow and the diverse terrain keeps it exciting. The guides a great and to food is above and beyond. I reccomend getting out here if you have been on the fence or looking for a new favorite annual event
Kyler H — Google review
Skeena experience exceeded my expectations in every way. The terrain was incredible. Even with 2 weeks since the last storm they managed to find us epic runs every time! Unbelievable! Accommodations were fantastic! Great food, lodge was chill and the wood burning sauna was amazing after riding all day! Can't say enough good things about the staff from guides to cat drivers to cooks. Great crew!

The Gitwangak Totem Poles, situated near a highway and the first road close to a bridge, are remarkable monuments. These totem poles hold significant historical value as they now stand as a National Historic site. Bordering one side of the Skeena River, these genuine totem poles have become iconic cultural symbols of the region.

The Kispiox Totem Poles, located on the outskirts of a First Nations community, offer a tranquil setting to admire a collection of traditional totem poles. Despite lacking tourist development, there are informative signs that guide visitors to this site. It is unfortunate that there isn't more support in place to enhance understanding and respect for the cultural significance these monuments represent. The intricate carvings by talented Indigenous artists against the backdrop of stunning scenery make these totems truly awe-inspiring.

Quiet spot to see a group of traditional totem poles on the edge of a First Nations community. Not developed as a tourist attraction despite having signs to guide you there, which is too bad - it would be nice to have something to help understand the site and how best to respect the traditions represented there.

The poles themselves are beautiful, but there is no informational plaque or anything explaining their history, their meaning, etc. We wanted to know more about them. The drive there is good, crosses over a canyon bridge which is worth checking out on foot as it's beautiful.

Nestled in the enchanting Great Bear Rain Forest of northwestern British Columbia, Red Raven Art Gallery is a vibrant hub for local artistry. This charming gallery stands out by offering authentic creations from talented local artists, steering clear of mass-produced souvenirs. Visitors can explore an impressive array of artwork, including photography, stained glass, fabric art, woodworking, and intricate carvings. The atmosphere is warm and inviting; you might even catch an artist at work during your visit!
Red Raven Art Gallery is the best gift store in all of Terrace! The most wonderful staff and the greatest variation of gifts from local artists. It's always a joy to shop there, Sylvia has such a flair for arrangement and selection. My favourite go-to shop for all occasions.

Nice simple visitor center in Kitimat with adjacent park.

Really disappointing visitor centre. Kitimat should do better with tourism as the area is beautiful. The gift shop should showcase local artists and capitalize on having a large selection of Kitimat/outdoor themed swag. No patches, one design of a pin, and very small selection of cheap stickers. While the clothing design is neat, the selection is very limited. No fault of the employees working there but one would assume a decent gift shop at a visitor info centre.

We visited the Kitimat Visitor Centre August 4, 2022. I am semi retired and have done a lot of travelling. This visit was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at any tourist information Centre in the world. The lady was horrible and did not give out any information on what to see and do. She basically showed us the map and told us to have a look and decide what we wanted to see. There was no cultural events or cultural activities to see. No artisan's exhibits to see. The Chamber of Commerce of Kitimat should be ashamed of the total lack of community knowledge being presented here. I would not even give this Visitor Centre a 1 Star. But I had to give it 1 Star in order to post my comments.
