Park
Nestled in the picturesque Rocky Mountain foothills of Littleton, Colorado, Chatfield State Park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The park offers an array of activities such as hiking, biking, camping, and boating against the stunning backdrop of the Platte River Valley. Boaters can take advantage of the marina and boat rentals while anglers can try their luck at catching trout, bass, crappie, and catfish.
I love going to this State Park. It seems to be a place that many other come to and enjoy. There is a nice beach to hang out at and take a swim, there seems to be a nice camp site, that I hope to experience in the near future. There seems to be areas to rent canoes and paddle boats. There also seems to be a lot of boats that Cruze around the lake as well. I have had a lot of fun each time that I've visited Chatfield State Park.
Keila C — Google review
Amazing park with many lakes that can be used for paddleboarding, fishing, or swimming. The large main resivoir you can also use powered boats. The resivoir has flooded recently leading to a number of cottonwoods sticking out of the water. They have sense died, giving way to very unique scenery. There is much wildlife to enjoy in the park, and camping is available in multiple lot types.

omg i love this place, everyone here is just so awesome and friendly. from campers, to park host, and as well as the rangers. everyone just waves and smiles at you and just sparks up a conversation. our car broke down and a park host saw our hood up and stopped to see if we were okay and if we needed anything, and he was nice enough to do run arounds for us in getting info on what we can do. then we met a park ranger name sweeney and he was very very patient understanding and accommodating always checked up on us if we were okay and was not an a hole like most rangers. then we met another worker from hawaii he was great n offered to help look at our car amd offered services . scene here is BEAUTIFUL!!! I just love the hospitality here

Very good park for boating, fishing, water sports, kayaking, paddleboarding, camping, hiking and walking. Can get very crowded in the summer season. Nice trails, decent camping selection if you book early, lotsa parking. Has a boat ramp and marina. Nice smaller lakes in the park area as well.
C L — Google review
June 6-8 2025 Really beautiful, green and lush right now. We stayed in handicap spot 148 in loop C. Nice cement pad and electrical available. No water on this site. Only bummer was the closest restroom to handicap spot was closed so a bit of a walk to next available restroom which can be difficult for someone with limited mobility. The sites are spacious and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean and they have showers that work but need more space for a bench or more hooks to keep dry clothes. The swim beach is nice and very busy. Go early to get parking and a space for your stuff. The view is gorgeous. They have a ramp that goes right into the water and allows for wheelchair access or access for people with limited mobility (like me) to get into the water and enjoy the fun instead of sitting on the sidelines! Best feature ever! There was a group of partiers near our site, which is fine, but they kept it up very loudly til after 3 am which made it hard to sleep. I think they need to enforce quiet hours better. All in all this is a nice campground and I would visit again.
Carol J — Google review
A beautiful place to have a picnic or walk around the lake. I went with my family — mountains on one side and the lake on the other. There’s plenty of parking, and you only pay per car. You can bike or walk around and enjoy the scenery.
Carlos G — Google review
Beautiful place to relax, fish, hike. Close to Denver. Water level was a little low.
Scott J — Google review
We have been camping in Chatfield State Park for 40 years. We tented for 10 years and then in a motorhome and two trailers. Tenters should try c loop because it has water and electricity and the other loops are full hookups and cost more. I camped in the group camp grounds every spring and fall with 30 of my buddies. Make your reservations 6 months in advance for the spot you want. The park could use 150 more spots.

History Museums
Nestled near the serene Ketring Lake, the Littleton Museum stands as a vibrant testament to Colorado's rich history and culture. As the state's first Smithsonian-affiliated museum, it offers an engaging journey through time with its interactive exhibits that span from prehistoric eras to contemporary life in Littleton and the South Platte Valley. Spanning 50 acres, this accredited facility features three exhibition galleries that delve into natural and cultural histories, alongside a Fine Arts Gallery showcasing local artistic talents.
This place is an absolute gem! They’ve got these super cool exhibits and displays that are all organized and put together really well. I was blown away when I found out they even have a room dedicated to dinosaurs! But the real highlight was the out-of-1850s and 1900 farms. They had all sorts of animals like chickens, sheep, cows, and even houses! There were even wool spinning and blacksmith exhibits. They had these old buildings that you could tour and they were all set up really nicely. It was like stepping back in time. If you’re ever in the area, you definitely have to check it out!
Eddie H — Google review
I recently visited the Littleton Colorado Museum with my two boys, ages 12 and 9, while we were in town from out of state. I wasn’t sure what to expect, thinking it might be a typical museum experience, but it far exceeded our expectations. The dinosaur exhibit was a major highlight! It was interactive and really brought the world of dinosaurs to life for my boys. They were so engaged and excited to learn. We also enjoyed the other exhibits, especially the exhibit on the waterway, which explained the Colorado water distribution system . The interactive portion where they could pretend to control the water was a big hit with them. The 1860s farm exhibit was another favorite. It’s an actual working farm that replicates life in the 1860s, and we were able to walk through the buildings where people were working and performing everyday tasks. My boys had so many great questions and really enjoyed interacting with the staff. We thought we would be there for just a quick visit, but ended up staying for 2 1/2 hours. The museum was an amazing experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Really liked it here..The exhibits inside were great and the wood structures and Pioneer houses outside were amazing
Danny B — Google review
What a fun little day activity. I went with my daughter and Mom and we walked around the 40 acre farm which is very accurately historically based. The inside of the museum was very interesting with an art exhibit, a special exhibit which currently focused on Kate Farretti and the Littleton history area which included a kids zone. The Kate Farretti exhibit depicted the life of a famous hat maker originally from Italy, she settled in Denver with her husband and made hats for Denver's elite including Molly Brown. Kate was also mother to the first triplets to be born in Denver. You can spend a couple hours here and make a day of it. I loved the living history farm portion which included 1860's and 1890's farms and contained 5 historical buildings as well as outhouses and a root cellar. It is an acutal working farm with 1800lb cows, turkeys, chickens, sheep, donkeys and a blacksmith! The gardens throughout were beautiful, we got to pick some pumpkins and see what would have been grown in this historical time period. Both livestock and gardens were accurately portrayed for the time period. You can only bring water in so don't try to do a picnic onsite. You are able to bring strollers and wagons and I would recommend doing so, there is a lot of land to be covered which requires a lot of walking.
Angela S — Google review
The Harvest Festival here is so engaging and very Fall-tastic! We love taking the kids here even when it's not a festival or celebration because it's a wonderful place to just walk around and see animals. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to be transported back to olden days.
Chelsey S — Google review
Great place to take the kids and let them run around. You can just walk straight in, there was no wait. There is a small museum, gift shop and art exhibition. It was interesting to go back in time and learn about how life was lived and fun to be up close to some of the farm animals. Spent a good hour and a half exploring. You wouldn’t even think this place is where it is! A hidden gem, free of charge.
Leah B — Google review
What a great place to visit! One of our kids came here for a field trip and said it was cool, so we sprung a surprise trip here, and we all had a great time. Very interesting living history farm set in old Littleton with plenty of animals for the kids and demonstrations for us big kids! They also have an indoor museum about the area back in the day. Best of all, it's a FREE activity! However, they do accept donations, and I seriously recommend donating. It would be a shame if something like this were to ever shut their doors.
B1krboy — Google review
We go for the farm. The trails are pretty easy to navigate even w/stroller. Lots of farm animals to see & structures depicting the 1800s. A real blacksmith, Bruce, is also working in the shop sometimes too- super nice & informative! Cool vegetable gardens & apple orchard throughout.

South Platte Park and Carson Nature Center is a sprawling 880-acre natural oasis nestled in Littleton, offering a variety of outdoor activities for nature enthusiasts. The park features five picturesque lakes ideal for fishing and water sports, as well as extensive trails for hiking, biking, and running. Visitors can also explore the interactive exhibits at the Carson Nature Center, which showcase Colorado wildlife and offer hands-on experiences. This urban green space provides a serene escape while being conveniently located near shopping centers in Littleton.
This is a fantastic place for a stroll. We absolutely adore the Plate River Trail and are gradually working on walking it in sections. This week, we started from the trailhead and the nature center near Santa Fe Avenue. The nature center was incredibly interesting and had some really cool exhibits. Plus, there were public restrooms there, which was a nice touch. Just a heads up, you’ll need to be careful of the cyclists. They can sometimes go a bit too fast, but most of them are pretty considerate. The trail goes both north and south, and we decided to go south. We walked all the way down to the bird blind and the small marshy area. Now, for getting back to the trailhead, you have two options. You can either go back the way you came or you can walk west around the lake to Mineral Avenue. We chose to walk around the lake. Just a warning, though - you’ll need to exit the park at Mineral Avenue. The gate there isn’t working, but if you’re flexible enough, you can slide under it. If not, you’ll have to backtrack. Also, don’t be fooled by the path that heads east around the lake - it’s a dead end. Be careful crossing Mineral Avenue to get to the Mineral Trail Path/Sidewalk. It’s a short and easy walk from there to the trailhead. I highly recommend this walk!

This is one of my favorite parks outside of Highlands Ranch! It houses picnic tables for those who enjoy a Mountain View with their meal, and a wonderfully soothing river where ducks lazily float by. From bike trails to bird watching, this place is perfect for a family getaway. While it gives strong vibes of a pleasant oasis tucked away, it’s actually within walking distance to food and shopping. My husband and I picked up bowls from Vibe just down the street and had a relaxing lunch in the shade of an ancient tree. Green buds are breaking through the tips of branches, heralding spring. Strongly recommend a visit!

I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Tom this afternoon. It’s always nice to have a nice conversation with someone you don’t know! The Park itself is wonderful. The nature center facilities are top quality, and the trails are well cleared. Lots of wildlife, and it’s nice to walk along the River. There’s a bike but then also hiking only path which is really nice. You must stop by and go for a walk or bike ride if you’re around town! I had a wonderful time. (around 4 miles walking). Thank you!
Aaron — Google review
Our school took a field trip to the center and we were so happy with how it went! The kids had a great time stomping through the river looking for insects and crawdads. The live animals, as well as the taxidermy in the museum were a hit. Even the sand and water table kept them well engaged. Thank you for everything.

The production Once was exceptional! The actors, musicians, energy, voices - simply everything! It was an immediate standing ovation!! Well done and a must see for Once and other productions!

Fun local theater with entertaining plays. Home town vibes and casual ambiance. Beverages and snacks available and ticket prices are reasonable. Support your local arts and go see a performance at this venue.

I'm leaving this review regarding their amazing customer service! I originally bought tickets for a show a friend was in that unfortunately was cancelled, and the response from the staff and management was very prompt, caring, and considerate. They even sent out a recording of the show that I missed, so I still got to experience it in a way, and it was an amazing production! Nothing but love for this place.
Alexandra R — Google review
My neighbor invited us to come with her and her homeschool group for an inside look at this theater and arts center. A very nice man who is the director of the educational department did a very cool play for us using volunteers from the group. It was so fun and the kids had a blast. They did a fun spin on Little Red Riding Hood. Afterwards he answered questions and gave us a backstage tour. I'm an old man and I thought it was fascinating to learn about the theater. They also have a ton of camps and classes for kids were they get to learn acting, about theater, and how to battle (were you learn how to act like your fighting, sounds very cool). I would love to come back and see a real show here and I think I'll do that soon.
Sean H — Google review
Always love checking out their art gallery! Nice exhibit going on right now!
Lauren D — Google review
This is a really cute theater! Last night was our first visit to the Littleton Town Hall Center for "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," which is my favorite play of all time!! I bought the tickets and knew that there wouldn't be a bad seat in the place, but with it being my favorite play, I chose the front row. It did not disappoint as we were a little raised from the stage so you're not looking up straining your neck the entire time. The refreshments sold are of a wonderful variety and the canned bloody mary was delicious! I do wish they had cup holders simply because I'm accient prone. I would love to see another play here soon!

The Hudson Gardens & Event Center is a charming 30-acre nature facility located in Littleton's historic downtown. Originally a personal gardening project, it was opened to the public in 1996 as an event center and botanical garden. The gardens feature beautiful flower gardens, fountains, and various attractions for kids such as a toy train, hay bale maze, and pumpkin patch in the fall.
This is a very beautiful, affordable wedding venue. I love the special photo spots and the Wedding and Reception can be in the same place. Lots of parking!!! The little coffee spot is a great first date. Right off the Platte River! Superb!!!!!!

My husband and I got married at Monet's Garden in August, and what a dream! Beginning with our first tour, Erin was extremely kind and helpful. The outdoor ceremony spot is stunning, and we loved the tent and string lights vibe for cocktail hour and reception. Comparatively, we felt like the pricing was more affordable than similar venues and well worth the value. Can't recommend using Hudson Gardens as a wedding venue enough! I liked the actual jack-o'-lanterns and the lights and the fog were fun, but the music... It was utterly ABYSMAL. I don't even know how to describe it. It was like one of those old up-beat YouTube tutorial videos or something you'd hear on a show literally for 2 year olds on an agonizing thirty second loop. I feel like they we're trying to keep it family-friendly, but they went way too far; it completely ruined the atmosphere. God forbid the mood be a little spooky at a Halloween event. Some of the art was genuinely creepy, but behind it they were playing LITERAL CHRISTMAS MUSIC, I could here the jingle bells and everything. And it wasn't just me, I heard other people put off by it too! To be fair, there was one really short graveyard section that had a little spooky theremin song playing which perfectly captured the Halloween vibe, but that just makes the rest of the place look worse. Why didn't they just do that everywhere else? It's not like it all needed to be actually creepy, it just should have been related to Halloween in some shape or form. There's tons of happy family-friendly Halloween songs out there. I can't stress enough how laughably bad the music was, I was legit offended. I wish I could give it a more positive review but the music nearly ruined it, it would have been better if there was no music at all. I'm only writing this review because I genuinely want to know who thought this was a good decision and for them to answer for their crimes. Thank you

We attended the Magic of the Jack O'Lantern festivities and it was really amazing. There were sooo many different kinds of carvings. Once inside, it was well staffed and organized. $8 for one s'more is a little high but I guess thats where we are these days. Parking is across the street at ACC and that was a kind of a mess. They did try to manage it but there were just too many cars at once. The parking situation made us miss our reservation time but the event staff didn't give anyone a hard time about it. Overall, we really enjoyed the event. If you go just make sure to arrive early.
Aaron L — Google review
This place is amazing! We have been here for a wedding that was gorgeous! Our most recent visit was Oct 2025 for the Magic of the Jack O'Lantern. It is super family friendly but even my adult son and DIL enjoyed it immensely as did us parents. The decorations were just breathtaking and the music worked so well!!

We went to Hudson Gardens for the “Magic of the Jackolanterns”. It was pretty cool (thousands of intricate carved pumpkins. This was at night so I can’t comment too much on the botanicals. Parking was easy and just across the street. We had a good time.

Great music at the Farmhouse ! Blue 88’s played!! Had a great footlong from the food truck!! Cody at the beer service was super cool!! Had great Edamame appetizer in the restaurant! Cool vibes! Kids dancing! Dogs chilling!

Food was solid. Staff was decent. Ordered the Juicy oasis but was given something else instead. It was good but not what I wanted. Drank it and had a juicy oasis afterwards. My buddy had the Christmas ale and said it was really good. Ordered our food and appetizer came out fast. Chili cheese fries are really good. Highly recommended. The bartender was far more worried with his side work cleaning glasses and what not than he was with helping customers. Our food was done fairly fast but mine stayed in the window for 10 minutes and was soggy and lukewarm by the time I got it. Was still good but would have been nice if the bread wasn’t soaked through. I had pulled pork so it wasn’t like it soaks in fast. My salad was warm and soggy by the time I got it.
BMF G — Google review
If you love beer, food, and family, this is the place to go. I’ve lived in Colorado all my life and I can say I have never had such a great experience with my family than this. I went for my birthday yesterday and Ben was the bartender outside. He made my birthday a great one along with the rest of the staff there. This is definitely a Colorado treat.

The beer is always good as is the food and menu options. During concert events the place can get very packed so be prepared. Best to bring chairs and food on busy days or make a Rez in advance for restaurant fare. During events the menu is very limited and the lines are long. Staff is fast but can get overwhelmed at times. Consistently a good place to visit.

We had a large party of 17 and were so impressed with how well Breckenridge Brewery handled everything. All of our food came out quickly, correct, and absolutely delicious. The cheeseburger, pot roast, and sandwiches were outstanding. Everyone at our table left happy. The environment is fun, welcoming, and perfect for groups. Highly recommend this spot for both great food and great vibes!

Me, my wife, and a buddy all cut split these meals! So delicious! This was after my wife and I did the tubing next to the Brewery! It made for an excellent afternoon! Good views, good vibes, good people, and GOOD FOOD! Definitely enjoyed that it was pet friendly and you could be outside! Definitely will recommend to others and be back myself!

Good food but not very fast. Arrived when they opened and was told we would have to wait for staff to arrive to sit us. Took 50 minutes to get drinks and place our order. Food was good but not worth spending two hours of our time. The chicken sandwich was juicy yet crispy. I would suggest.

Since there aren't very many reviews, I'd like to add my own. I've only been to Depot once, but I found it to be unique and a great space to view art. They have made good use of the available square footage to show a variety of work without it feeling cramped. I especially liked the caboose gallery dedicated to train-related art and photography.

Wonderful little gallery in Littleton. Used to be a railroad station, so lots of charm. A must see if you visit! Artists use different mediums and very reasonably priced! Shows change about every other month (check their website). Each year around December is the Holiday Express show with lots of wonderful gifts such as watercolor, acrylic, oil, pottery, jewelry, and the list goes on. These artists are very talented!

My favorite Co-Op gallery. As a member I have benefited greatly. Beautiful gallery that is very high quality with a nice ever changing variety of styles, media and prices. Love it! Just wish we weren't so tucked away behind (north) the Buck Recreation Center.

The women working were not welcoming and acted rude when I said I did not know anyone who had submitted to the show. Overpriced artwork and was shocked to see printed photos for $200+ that just were using a Lightroom filter to make it look like a hand drawn painting.

We have enjoyed visiting the Depot every time we are are in town. There is a wide array of art mediums from very skilled, local artists. I wish we were local so we could visit all the shows and I'm sure fill our home with more art 😊

Great little coop gallery staffed with friendly artists. The exhibits are updated frequently including traveling exhibits. The process age very reasonable. It's a little out of the way, but worth checking out.

Robert F. Clement Park, also known as Clement Park, is a delightful public park located in Littleton. It was established in 1987 and is managed through a partnership between Jefferson County Open Space and the Foothills Park and Recreation District. The park sits on the former Grant family ranch lands and is named after former County Commissioner Bob Clement, who played a significant role in its development.
Nice park with tons of things to do! I liked the path around the lake the most, but there’s plenty to keep busy with!

Brought my daughters here today while we were visiting from Texas and I’m blown away by the entire place! Plenty for the kids to do and beautiful sights for the adults. Great place community and gatherings. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. There’s everything you could want about this park and I wish we had something like this back home. We will definitely will be back!

Clement Park was very nice, I was there for a company picnic. The view of the front range is beautiful. I watched 3 different storms progress and pass through. Just amazing views. But the temp. was in the 90s. May go and enjoy the views and park when the temp. Is more comfortable.

Absolutely gorgeous park! My favorite in Colorado. Huge, awesome playground for the kids. Beautiful lake to walk around. Safe, great vibes, so scenic! Lots of cute prairie dogs. Don't let your dogs off leash though, prairie dogs are great to enjoy from a distance.

A wonderful park to walk your dog on trail, off trail or let them play in the creek. There's also fishing, bike lanes and so much more. Get some grounding in, prayer, or just lay down a blanket and take a nap in one of the many out of sight spots.

An overall great park which is quite big with the Columine Memorial, Columbine Library, Columbine high school, a couple restaurants, and this big walking area that goes in a circle around this big lake where you can see houses, the mountains, and a couple animals occasionally passing by. There’s also this large purple chair once you walk far enough into the circle which you can sit in and take selfies on!
Xoom T — Google review
Great park. Plenty of parking and good variety of play areas for different ages. The splash pad is awesome!!

This is a nice park, busy, but well kept and pretty. The water is so super low but that's not anyone's fault here. There are plenty of benches that sit all around the park, but my only only thing - that matters to me is there were no benches with a little privacy, shade, no trees where the benches are. It's random but important to me, otherwise great place for a nice walk around the lake with views of Mt Eva, Flora and maybe even James peak, among others. Nice people too! 💞

Located in Denver's historic downtown, the Colorado Antique Gallery has been a staple since 1992. With over 250 dealers and more than 50,000 square feet of retail space, it is the largest antique mall in the area. Visitors can explore a diverse range of items including furniture, artwork, jewelry, kitchenware, and collectibles from different eras. Whether you're into Victorian-style furniture or mid-century modern decor, this gallery offers something for everyone.
The best antique store in Denver! I popped in 2 hours before closing and it was NOT long enough! I had to come back the next morning and spent another 3 hours! I got so much great stuff! They have a fantastic jewelry selection! Truly a gem! Also a booth that’s just clown stuff which I thought was fun.
Samantha B — Google review
Colorado Antique Gallery has some fantastic specialized booths filled with solid items that you don't often come across, and certainly not in such quantities. These booths offer unique finds that make the trip worth it. However, I did find the prices to be a bit higher than I'd prefer, especially if you're planning to buy in larger quantities, which can add up quickly. The more general booths, on the other hand, tended to blend together and didn't stand out as much. Also, there hours were a little shorter than others in the area. Despite this, it's a great place for unique antiques and definitely worth a visit!
Erik — Google review
I have very little experience with antiques. That being said, the selection of items at Colorado Antique Gallery was staggering. I am reasonably certain the location is a former grocery store, but with a higher density of square footage covered by merchandise. Most everything I saw had a fair price and had been thoughtfully tidied up before being set out for sale. We will continue to pop in the check on antique jewelry.
Nick S — Google review
You will spend HOURS here if you truly love shopping for antiques! Within minutes I found two items I had been searching for! Two globe fairy lamps and the price was unbeatable! If you are a lover of vintage glass like fairy lamps, carnival glass, swung vases... then this place is for you!

Love this place. First time here and I found something amazing!! A beautiful amethyst that I just had to have. I will be back for some more incredible finds soon.

This place is so big that we had to come 2 times to finish looking at the whole store. I love it, they have everything from old furniture to vintage vinyl records, old typewriter, antique China dishes... I'm a little disappointed in jewelry selection though, mostly cheap costume jewelry

My wife and I visited Shane’s to purchase a birthday present for our granddaughter. We were greeted when we walked in and were helped within minutes. We knew what we wanted and the Sales Associate took us right to that case. He showed us both sizes of the necklace, talked to us about chain lengths and did not pressure us while we talked about it. Once decided, he expertly boxed and wrapped our purchase and wished us a great day. The store is well laid out, bright and well lit, and the staff helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. If the occasion arises again, we will surely go back.

We went to donate this funky old lamp my grandmother had. Pleasantly surprised with all the neat things that brought back memories. Antiques really are beautiful and rich in design and quality. Go antiquing, you never know what you might find!

Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is a 700-acre wildlife refuge and historic farm in Littleton, situated along Deer Creek. The facility features various gardens such as the Community-Supported Agriculture program gardens, sensory garden, iris garden, herb garden, and Janice Ford memorial garden. Additionally, there are riparian demonstration garden, survival garden, and native plant garden within the Deer Creek Natural Area.
I went here with my roommates for the Lavender festival and was so surprised to go and experience so many other amazing things. There were food vendors, live music, people educating about the dye garden, a butterfly house, a market, and of course the Lavender. The property was so incredibly beautiful to walk around. The flowers were in full bloom, and there was just so much to experience. For onky a $17 ticket it was more than worth it. All the staff were incredibly nice.
Tara H — Google review
We visited during the lavender festival and had a great time overall. There was plenty of parking, and the area itself is lovely for strolling around. The vendor booths were set up in the middle of a field, which made for a nice atmosphere, but it did get quite warm. It would be helpful if water stations were spread throughout the event to keep people hydrated. Other than that, it was a great experience!

What a beautiful venue, wow!! I had the pleasure of being a Wedding Coordinator at the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms. Got to work with Abby & Sana - they were so on top of it, great communication and were so incredibly helpful before, during and after the wedding day. This venue makes the planning process so smooth and they execute the day of plans flawlessly. 10/10 I would highly recommend hosting your wedding day here for ceremony and reception!!! Also, it's just a fantastic gardens to spend the day with family or friends - will definitely be back to explore more 😊 Thank you, Jessica @ Dream Big Events

We used Chatfield Farms as a wedding venue and it was so perfect! The gardens, in full bloom at the end of August, were the most gorgeous, natural backdrop for photos and just an incredible venue. We kept our decor simple, so as to not distract from all of the natural beauty. The stables (white open barn) was the perfect amount of rustic that we wanted. There isn't one thing we would change for our venue selection! The price we paid for the venue and amount of time for the venue rental aligned with pricing of other venues we looked at and this expense for the wedding went to a great cause as well, contributing to the ongoing conservation programs and projects at the native plant refuge and historic farm. Our venue manager was Abby Beck and I can't say enough good things about her! She was so accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and just overall easy to work with! One of the services offered through the gardens was the Bucket of Blooms. They will grow flowers for your wedding to be used however you want, matching your wedding (or party/event) colors and if you choose, they can build your bouquets from these flowers that are grown at the gardens. Our bouquets turned out absolutely stunning. They were HUGE! So well designed and used flowers I had never even seen before! We loved them and this is something everyone should use if you are using the gardens as a venue!! Our entire experience at the gardens was incredible and the perfect place for a wedding!
Katie D — Google review
Compared the the Downtown botanical gardens I found it to have less variety of plants, flowers and foliage. Nonetheless it was a beautiful place to visit with a beautiful Colorado backdrop and worth the visit. It has a small butterfly pavilion was very enjoyable and the walk through the gardens very relaxing. Came late August and still has lots of color, humming birds and great place to admire nature's beauty and relax and ofcourse take pictures.
Gus J — Google review
Our family went in the middle of June on a gorgeous day to be outside in Colorado. The gardens were fully in Bloom with tons of flowers and bushes and trees and the place was filled with people looking at all of the flowers and children running around. Looking at the ducks. In the Monet exhibit there was a family of ducklings waddling around and the children were all watching and chasing them into the pond. The paths were well maintained and easy to travel. They showcased many different species of flowers and bushes, grasses and trees throughout the gardens. Benches replaced all over so you could sit and look at all of the different plants throughout the place. The gardens are not too big. You can travel it within a day, a half a day or so and feel like you got the full experience. It was a very fun and enjoyable time.
Anna N — Google review
As a wedding coordinator, I absolutely loved getting to work a wedding at this beautiful botanic garden. Although we each got almost 30,000 steps in throughout the course of our couple's wedding day, it was well worth all the effort to see how happy our couple and their guests were celebrating throughout this absolutely stunning property. They made full use of the entire property; around every bend you'll find a unique backdrop for photos with different kinds of plants and wildlife. The venue coordinator Jeremiah went way out of his way to accommodate my couple's unique requests, answered all of our endless questions in a timely manner, and was the most helpful venue coordinator I've ever worked with on the day of the event. He was there when we arrived and stayed after we left to ensure that every need was met, even going so far as to help me load up my car at the end of the night. Between Jeremiah's genuine care and kindness and the immaculate beauty of the property, I can't recommend this venue enough to future couples looking to get married in a well-maintained natural setting.
Marea J — Google review
The gardens were well maintained, including rows of veggies with staff everywhere. They were more than happy to talk with you and share their love for this scenic sanctuary. I appreciated the paths that meandered throughout the shade areas of the gardens in 90-degree weather conditions. I found it to be very relaxing, quiet, and beautiful. The butterfly house was an unexpected treat to enhance the whole experience. If you love flowers, the outdoors, and butterflies, you won't be disappointed!

Nestled within the expansive 1,450-acre Hildebrand Ranch Park, visitors can immerse themselves in a stunning blend of prairie and mountain landscapes. This historic site, part of the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms, boasts a rich heritage dating back to the 19th century when it was established as a working cattle ranch. The park features an array of wildlife viewing opportunities and well-maintained hiking trails that meander through diverse terrains—from open grasslands to elevated hogbacks.
A quiet, well cared for, out of the way park, & the only one I've found in the area with an accessible restroom. There's a cool little waterfall, & a lot of hiking/walking/biking trails. There's also a spacious parking area that's paved with paving stones instead of asphalt, so it doesn't get as broiling on hot days. It's a very neat park.
DawningOf A — Google review
This place is a gem! It’s got this awesome open space with breathtaking views of Chatfield Lake, the city, and those nearby mountains. The walking trails are made of dirt and the wind rustling through the nearby neighborhood is just the cherry on top. But, there are a few paths that aren’t marked, so it can be a bit tricky to navigate. Overall, it’s a really nice place to relax and enjoy nature.
Eddie H — Google review
Great variety of terrain. It's very low traffic despite being right in town. This trail meanders through prairie grassland and turns into a trail in the middle of a subdivision for about a mile. People think they are off trail because of this, so if you're new, use a map or AllTrails to stay on track. There's a huge parking lot (maybe 80-100 spots and several long slots for campers/trailers. There's also a picturesque barn nearby. Very popular spot for family pictures. Great for intermediate mountain bikers. Occasionally, you will run into large groups of bikers that are a bit spread out, but almost every MTBer I've run into is very courteous and knows how to share the trail. While there aren't any remarkable sights on the trail, the whole area provides sweeping views of Denver and the plains as well as the foothills. If you are looking for a long hike, you can connect with the new Black Bear trail that connects to the Plymouth Mountain trail system in Deer Creek. It is around 14 miles total, so plan accordingly.
Mark S — Google review
Great close hike, trail run, or bike trail! There is lots of parking. No trees at this trail so it’s pretty hot in the warmer months. The trail doesn’t have many rocks on it and is well maintained. The loop is a little less than 5 miles!
Carolyn B — Google review
Excellent trails with great views. The loop can be a bit tricky to stay on as it goes through a park and housing area, but is really nice the entire way. There is basically no shade at all unless you go late enough in the day. This trail also connects to Deer Creek Canyon Park. The parking lot is well maintained and has an easy entry way. Absolutely worth a visit. I will be back.
Caleb S — Google review
The 2 Brands trail is absolutely beautiful. A 5 mile loop taking you through all sorts of terrain. From a neighborhood, some ponds, a small ridge line, and along the hog backs. Get out there and hike it.
Jeff — Google review
Hildebrand is a great little 5 mile loop winding along the hogback and down a valley through the fields overlooking Chatfield State Park and Botanical Gardens at Chatfield. You eventually pass through a neighborhood that has a small lake for bird viewing and you might even be lucky enough to catch a Sand Hill Crane during migration. Expect to see an occasional coyote or deer if you're there at dusk or dawn. You may also hot air balloons. Great place for a nice mountain bike ride on the loop, or get a brutal climb to the top of Black Bear Trail with a wonderful view.

This picturesque park features a charming lake teeming with ducks and geese, making it an ideal spot for fishing or simply soaking in nature's beauty. The lush, tree-lined surroundings create a peaceful atmosphere perfect for leisurely strolls or invigorating jogs along its winding trails.
We discovered a charming little lake and a peaceful walk at a new park. Parking was a breeze, and the lake was absolutely stunning. It’s conveniently located near the Littleton Museum, and the path takes you around the lake and the museum. It was a lovely stroll!

My buddy and I looped around a time or two and got over 2 miles. Saw birds living their lives on the water and people trying to fish. Part of the path goes past the Littleton Museum, so it is fun seeing the animals. Some of the path is more narrow closer to the museum. Loved seeing the memorial area and walking past the large older trees. It’s a charming park. No bathroom set up but a decent parking lot with available spaces.
A D — Google review
Very nice park in Littleton. It's clean and open space for my activities. There are park benches and tables for use. I didn't see any restrooms or playground. There is a pond with lots of water foul to watch. Very relaxing. Good for walking the dog and bird watching.

HOME... This park is natural art and has an absolutely delightful community. This park has so many positives and really captivates the mind on a nice day. Flocks of geese and many other bird types live together. It is so much fun to watch the birds and see what shenanigans they will get into. If walking dogs is your thing, then there are no shortage of beautiful and amazing dogs. So many good dog owners. Conversations abound with character and imagination. In essence there is so much more to this park, you just need to visit and you will find mystery, history, and fun!

Great park, there is so much to see and enjoy. Don't forget to go through the Littleton museum and the two farms adjacent to the pond.
Brigitte R — Google review
The park is located in a beautiful area. There is lot of greenery in summer and a small beautiful lake. There is ample parking and it is less crowded compared to other famous park like Washington Park or Denver Civic park. You can walk around the pond and children can ride their bikes. Couple of things missing are they don't have swings n designated play area for kids. Secondly many of the benches are not under 🌲 trees to give shade on a hot summer day. I went on a cloudy day so it was good. But overall still this park is gem of a place to enjoy nature with beautiful view of mountains 😀

Miniature golf course
Colorado Journey Miniature Golf is a popular destination in Denver, featuring two 18-hole courses designed after iconic Colorado landmarks like Garden of the Gods and Mesa Verde. The facility provides free use of golf balls and putters with every game ticket, and also offers private pavilions for group rentals. Visitors can enjoy the scenic setting and water features while playing through the Conestoga Trail or exploring other attractions nearby.
I came here with a few people for my boyfriend‘s birthday. This was a great alternative to boondocks, which also offers mini golf, but is usually busy with people in the weekends. A few of the holes, like the T-Rex one, are in a bit of need of repair. We only had time for one of the two courses, having come in close to around the last hour or so they were open. I loved how laid-back the atmosphere was and how the course was all about different Colorado attractions. I would absolutely come here again.
A D — Google review
This course was so much fun it's 100% accessible no stairs anywhere on the course. It's flat where you exit each hole making it very easy for someone with walker wheelchair or scooter to do the course. There are benches throughout the course to rest. The course was fun and challenging. Wish there was food and adult drink options available. I will be going back.
Marissa P — Google review
6/16/24: The majority of this park is ADA accessible for people with walking difficulties and even wheelchairs. Water was missing from many of their water features, which would have made it more enjoyable. There were a few places with super stagnated water where mosquitoes flock near dusk. The prices are OK, but could be better. They also allow outside food which is really cool. They do have a little food stand which has drinks and snacks. Some of their decorations need repairs like the t-rex missing its arms.

Such a fun experience!! I loved getting a “tour” of the greatest landmarks in CO. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset while you play mini golf too!!
Julia M — Google review
Surprisingly great! We went a bit later in the evening for a date, and was impressed by two separate 18 hole putt putt courses. The one we played was Colorado history themed, and they had some fun holes. Very affordable!
Max V — Google review
It's run down but it's fun, 5 star because they didn't charge us. It's vaguely wheelchair accessible, there is 1 to almost 3 inch curbs per course, uneven terrain, and a lot of hills one is quite steep; also chance of ball going off course and being down a hill, in the brush, bushes, or water. I lost mine down hill but our kiddo got it. I am experienced with off roading in my manual and power wheelchair so I could do it in either but if your not experienced with uneven terrain or don't have supportive help, then I wouldn't reccomend trying it. I did it in my questionable to fall apart wheelchair but had to get pushed a lot by my caregiver.

We had such a fun time at Colorado Journey for a great round of glow ball mini golf! Two courses to choose from with Colorado history in each of the 18 holes. The staff was super helpful and were very patient with our kids!

We had a blast at Colorado Journey Miniature Golf! BOOK ONLINE TO PAY HALF PRICE! I absolutely loved the water features! It’s set up as two 18 hole courses. We took the Conestoga Trail. Lots of benches to sit and rest while waiting for the group in front of you. We played on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t overly crowded. Some wear and tear on the greens, but that’s to be expected being outside and for the price.

A wonderful bookstore full of all of the books you would expect, plus many that you aren't expecting. Unless you're coming for something specific, plan on staying a while, because there's lots to look through on your way to the front register. This bookstore is great at all four of its locations across the city. I always leave with more than I planned on, and I'm always incredibly happy about it!

This is a great bookstore. I walked in the door, and the manager on duty said, “Welcome to the bookstore.” That hasn’t happened to me in a few decades. With the recent change in ownership, I was very curious to see the condition of the place, and I was delighted to find clear and bright signage; spotless restrooms; spacious and comfortable seating in several places all around the store; and a manager (Mark) who knew his inventory cold. The atmosphere is instantly welcoming and relaxing, and it was well worth the trip from Denver to Littleton. While the inventory is not as deep as the onsite team would like, we did get an actual paper NYT and several books for our grandchildren, including a terrific guide to Pokemon (the last copy for now). I’ll be back again soon to enjoy the space, the service, and the offering

Beautiful cozy bookstore. Very dog friendly. Localized to Denver, but owned by B&N. (Most) of the staff is super friendly, with the exception the lady who checked me out. She actually ruined the experience for me at the end with her attitude. Her energy was very just very negative and off putting. Littleton / Downtown Station is a charming and historic area that offers a delightful shopping experience with its artisanal shops, galleries, cafes, and antique stores. The downtown thoroughfare hosts various festive events throughout the year such as Halloween zombie parade, annual candlelight walk, and tree-lighting in November. The station also features a small coffee shop/cafe just 25 feet from the platform, making it convenient for commuters. Although the parking lot is small, the station's proximity to Main St.
Cute and spacious but could use more places to avoid inclement weather. You can catch the C/D lines here and even drop in the coffee shop for a drink to sip while you ride. Parking lot is small so parking is tough on weekdays but if you're willing to walk a few blocks there is street parking nearby.

Best pedestrian light rail station IMO. Includes a small coffee shop/cafe 25ft from the platform, which is extremely convenient for 9-5 commuters. The parking lot at this station is very small and many are forced to park in the surrounding residential neighborhood. Overall, I like it much better than any other light rail station along the I-25 corridor.

Busy bus and rail transit hub, easy walking distance to Main St. Littleton and convenient to downtown Denver. Parking tends to fill up quickly, especially for Littleton events, but it's still a great station.
David H — Google review
The coffee shop is cute, it has antiques, and a mural on the outside wall, that depicts the town of Littleton from the early 1900's. There's usually not a very long wait for trains in either direction, and it's well lit at night. Also only a few blocks from Main St. Littleton Blvd. and my favorite bar is just across the park!

NoNo's Cafe is a laid-back and charming restaurant in Littleton, offering a diverse menu of New Orleans-influenced dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Operated by Sonda and Brian Brewster, the cafe prides itself on using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create unique and affordable Cajun-style meals.
Came in for a business meeting and was not expecting at all the experience. The food reminded me of eating in the French quarters in New Orleans. It was fantastic! I had the smothered catfish with crawfish sauce, and it exceeded my expectations. I also had some of the Crab Meat Au gratin with bread and sampled the Chicken Sausage Gumbo. All of the food was so tasty, and on point, I went ahead and took an order of red beans and rice back to the hotel for the next meal. If you are having a craving for some authentic New Orleans Cajun stle food, this is the place. It's definitely worth a little bit of a drive. @reviewsontherickterscale

Oh my gosh, you won’t believe what happened! We just had this amazing walk at the South Platte River Park, and we were looking for a cozy place to grab a bite. And guess what we found? NoNos Cafe! It’s an inside-out gem, with a relaxing and super comfortable atmosphere. The service was top-notch - everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic! And then, the food arrived… oh my goodness! The Crab au gratin was to die for, with perfectly fresh bread and crab that was just divine. My friend had the Blacken Catfish with crawfish sauce, and it was equally delicious. I had the Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, and it was a hearty and comforting meal. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend checking out NoNos Cafe if you ever find yourself in the area. It’s a hidden gem that you won’t want to miss!

I had a solo dinner on a business trip. It is nor a full-blown Cajun menu, but what I got was very good. Pork green chili with a tortilla AND bread, which seemed excessive, but the chili was intense and perfect for dipping. Smothered blackened catfish was also very strongly flavored, which personally I like, and very generously portioned. Like many entrees, this came with an entire sliced tomato, which seemed unconventional but somehow went well with the catfish. Service was attentive. A man, maybe the owner, shouted a thanks at me as I left across the parking lot. I think I would return here if in the area. My photos, like in many reviews of Nono’s, look drab, as the lighting inside is dim. The food looks better in real life.

Amazing menu and absolutely delicious food! The catfish and gumbo soup were full of flavor, true New Orleans gems. We even grabbed some desserts to go: strawberry cake and beignets. Everything hit the spot! Even kid’s burgers is good. The staff were super friendly, and our waitress provided fantastic service. Food came out quickly and everything was fresh. We will definitely be going back for Nono’s shrimp and crawfish! Highly recommended if you’re craving Southern comfort food done right!

Everything was delicious! Service superb! I had the ribeye and my husband the Shepherds Pie. House cab was exceptional. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this place for a great meal and great experience!

We split Cajun egg rolls, a sausage poboy, and a crawfish pie. The egg rolls were well stuffed with quality ingredients and the sauce was fantastic. The sausage was a great balance of flavor and spice. The star of the meal was the crawfish pie. I was surprised to find that there was a TON of crawfish. The crust was a great blend of sweet and savory. Really hoping they keep this on the menu.

Nono’s cafe was a yes, yes for me!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend! The food is delicious, the locations convenient for travelers such as myself and the service exceeded my expectations. I would like to give a huge shot out to Christian: he went above and beyond to make sure that I had the best dine in experience and he made sure to top off my drinks, explain the menu and personally made the best horseradish cream with my steak I’ve ever had! He deserves a huge pay increase and promotion and knows how to take care of his guests. Even while the restaurant was full, he made sure every customer had what they needed and I’ll be coming here every time I stay in Colorado for work.

Dined here on a Saturday afternoon. Service was friendly but found myself waiting for some basics (water fills, check-ins, etc). We started off with The Crab au gratin appetizer which was solid, I had the pasta with crawfish and it was pretty good! The flavor seemed to be missing something, but it was by no means bad. My friends Po Boy looked out of this world. NoNos provides an inviting, family friendly atmosphere as a break from the big box corporate eateries (Applebees, Outback, etc). A solid experience and I would certainly recommend. I would definitely eat here again.

I'm stingy with my 5-star ratings, so 4 stars is high, for me. I enjoyed my time and meal at CT. I'd reserved a table online, which was easy to do. Parking wasn't as bad as I thought it could be but it was early in a Thursday. The venue is lovely, indoors and outdoors. Seating outside was enjoyable, though the setting sun did peak below the umbrella, so a sunsail would make it enjoyable for all people, seated anywhere. Service was friendly and quick, without going over the top. The food was well prepared and tasteful, though someone did comment that the salmon was a bit overcooked. The cake is definitely best shared, because it's a thick slice, for $10, but it's quite delicious!

We got the lido and the louthan. The lido comes with almost no food, where the louthan has some food. But neither had any flavor. The food was horrible. The only reason that this didn't get a 1 was because the manager was very nice and tried to really help make the experience better.

I have been to Cafe Terracotta twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. The food is great and I enjoy the atmosphere. When I went for brunch I had the huevos rancheros and a cocktail and it was delicious. For dinner my group shared the sourdough, the house and brussel Caesar salads, and I had the penne alla vodka with a pinot noir and everything was wonderful! Perfect portions and great service. Definitely recommend and will be back.

I and a friend came here on Halloween night. No reservation (I recommend having one!) and we were told we'd have a 30 minute wait - not bad at all. We came back after a 15, 20 minute walk and were seated at a booth. Though it was busy we were able to have a good conversation without hearing one another. Once seated, our server, Jackson, was fantastic! He had recommendations about each part of the menu - what parts were seasonal, were there all the time, etc. - and helped both of us choose between options when we were indecisive. The spicy lamb meatballs, cod, short rib, and carrot cake were what we ordered and, MAN, what a delicious meal. You don't find good food like that just anywhere. (Especially the carrot cake...that was incredible and also came at Jackson's recommendation.) I coukd rave about the speed of service and quality further since those things matter, but to me what really made the experience great was Jackson. He bantered with us, helped us out, and just all around added to our time in the restaurant each time he passed by our table. He also had that 6th sense of knowing exactly when to check on us without being neglectful or overbearing. Truly, an excellent server and I'm grateful for him taking care of us. I can only give 5 stars but I'd give 10 out of 10 if I could!

Living The Dream Brewing has been a staple in Littleton since 2014, offering a wide range of artisanal beers that cater to traditional and innovative tastes. Their family and dog-friendly Tap Room features an array of gluten-reduced beers on tap, including American ales, stouts, fruit beers, and IPAs. Visitors can enjoy favorites like Powder Run Vanilla Cream Ale and Vienna Lager.
Cool place! A little out of the way but I’m definitely glad I gave them a try. Gingerbread Powder Run was good; would pair well with the holiday dinners. The Leopold brothers bourbon barrel aged imperial stout is OMG strong 😳.

LTD is among the best breweries in all of Denver Metro. The staff is extremely friendly, personable, and attentive. The atmosphere is great, you can drink a beer indoors, outdoors, or in a lovely tent - your choice! They have some really great rotating food trucks, one of which I own and park there often. One of my all time favorite beers is the powder run, it’s super refreshing, light, and smooth. You can never have too many! Cheers Living the Dream 🍻

Used to love the atmosphere of this place and old location. This new one is solid but zero outdoor space and the cornhole patio is completely gone. One the of the main reasons I would come. Sterne Park, located in the charming city of Littleton, Colorado, is a picturesque haven that captivates visitors with its stunning landscapes and serene atmosphere. This delightful park boasts an expansive playground that delights children and families alike. At its heart lies a tranquil fishing pond teeming with ducks and geese, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation or leisurely fishing excursions.
I had the pleasure of photographing Brian and Tyler’s pre-ceremony and family portraits at Sterne Park, and it was an absolutely beautiful location! The park’s towering trees and peaceful atmosphere created the perfect setting for intimate moments and group photos alike. The open spaces and natural scenery provided so many stunning backdrops for our shots, and the soft light filtering through the trees added a magical touch to the photos. It’s an ideal spot for weddings or any special occasion where you want both beauty and tranquility. If you’re looking for a location that offers versatility, charm, and plenty of space for gathering loved ones, Sterne Park is a wonderful choice. I highly recommend it for anyone planning an event or simply looking for a picturesque place to create lasting memories.

The children that I nanny for and I went to this park on thursday, there's only 2 benches there that have shade. The rest of the park is full sun. Not good ! It's one of the little ones is that I nanny for how to use the restaurant as we were leaving the playground area to go there. We saw a bum sitting at the tables with all of his stuff put everywhere. That is so unsafe for a family playground. We have decided not to go back there. But I did capture some really beautiful photos.I will share that with you. If you plan on taking your children here, nanny, your parent caregiver, whoever please watch out for the bums.

My daughter and I adore this park! I grew up in the area and have been visiting since the late 1980s and early 1990s. The neighborhood children would fish for crawdads in the creek, and it has always been a wonderful place to spend time. They have a lovely, updated playground that keeps children engaged for hours. There are plenty of shady spots under the trees and benches conveniently placed. The geese are abundant, and I hope they always will be. I find it unnecessary for people to complain about goose droppings, as they are easily cleaned from shoes or blankets. I would much rather have the geese and their droppings than deal with inconsiderate people complaining about wildlife. It seems rather self-centered to think the geese are inconveniencing us when their habitat has been largely overtaken by human development. My daughter and I also enjoy feeding the geese Cheerios and bran flakes, a healthier alternative to bread. I hope this park remains for many years to come. I plan to bring my grandchildren here someday. Thank you for the nostalgia and the memories we continue to make here. It is truly a wonderful place.

This park is wonderful. My two year old loved every bit of it and so did I to be honest. Playground is very nice with something for big kids and little kids. There is also a large pond with tons of different species of birds to check out as well as a larger walking trail that circles the entire park. It was also very quiet. I went around 6pm on a Thursday and there were only a couple of other families there at the time. There’s also a huge open space for people to bring their dogs to run free for a bit. Great park! One of my favs thus far.

The trail features lush green meadows, serene lakes, abundant wildlife, and is popular for biking, running, walking, and birdwatching.

The Mary Carter Greenway Trail is the absolute splendor of the Denver metro trail system. It is a major hub of interconnecting trails throughout the entire downtown and South metro areas mainly connecting the South Platte River trail from Denver to the C-470 bikeway in Littleton and other points further South and West. When traveling on this trail expect to see rolling lush green meadows, shimmering blue lakes, a multitude of wildlife and of course your fellow trail user. The rest stop at River Run Park offers restrooms with running water, drinking fountain, biked repair stand, shaded picnic area and large pavilion. The entire trail is fully paved with smooth concrete and is mostly flat with no steep climbs. This trail is a must for any cyclist or outdoor enthusiast.
Christian B — Google review
It's a great biking trail, highly recommend.
Megan R — Google review
Take a stroll along the beautiful Platte River. The greenery stretches from C470 to downtown Denver, winding through the south metro area. There are plenty of spots to sit, relax, or have a picnic. Restrooms and play areas are conveniently located along the trail. You can also take a short detour to explore some nearby restaurants. If you’re a cyclist, you’ll love this route, but if you’re a walker like me, it might be a bit challenging due to the constant bike traffic. To avoid any surprises, it’s best to walk on the left side of the trail, just like you would on a road. This way, you’ll have plenty of time to see the bikes coming and avoid any sudden stops. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a long walk, and I highly recommend it!

Palenque Cocina Y Agaveria is a laid-back Mexican restaurant and bar located in downtown Littleton. Despite being overshadowed by the city, this gem offers a vibrant rooftop patio where patrons can savor traditional Mexican cuisine and cocktails. Originally established as a branch of Adelitas, it rebranded as Palenque after changes in ownership.
Awesome spot for Mexican food with unbeatable happy hour deals on both food and drinks. Everything came out super quick, fresh, and full of flavor. Great place if you’re trying to stay protein focused plenty of solid options. Our server was on point friendly and super attentive. The rooftop seating adds a chill vibe, and the portions are generous. Honestly, everything was so good we didn’t leave a single chip behind even dessert disappeared fast.

Palenque was very good. The atmosphere was probably the best part. They put a lot of time and thought into all of the details of the restaurant from the bar to the dining room to the rooftop. The food was also great, the carnita tacos and the palenque chicken both were 8/10. The queso was good but it was a little too thick but still tasty. Staff were on top of things and friendly. Will definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

I recently took my family to El Palenque, and as a returning customer, I was thrilled to experience it all over again! We visited on Taco Tuesday, and it truly was a feast for everyone. One of the best aspects of El Palenque is the wide variety of options available. My family was able to choose exactly what they wanted, ranging from traditional tacos to delicious vegan and vegetarian selections. As a vegetarian myself, I was delighted to find the vegan tacos—absolutely delicious and perfectly satisfying. The nistamal tortilla added a fantastic touch that made the meal even better! The ambience of the restaurant is inviting and vibrant, creating a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a meal with family. On top of that, the service was excellent—attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend El Palenque for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a family-friendly environment. Taco Tuesday is definitely the highlight of our week now, and we can't wait to return!

Food was delicious and ready super fast. Loved the service and atmosphere. I would definitely be back if I was local. That being said... The house salsa is wonderful, but we didn't like the other two in the salsa sampler and didn't eat them. Just not our style. The Carne Asada taco tasted delicious but the meat was dry. The Al Pastor and Carnitas Tacos were perfect. Refried beans were very good. The appetizer Quesadilla with shrimp and grilled onions added was perfect for an entree.

The BEST happy hour and taco Tuesday deals. I’ve never had a bad experience here and we go multiple times a month. Not too loud, servers are super kind and helpful with suggestions and questions, and lots of seating options. Great for a 2 person meal or a party! Amazing chips & salsa, guacamole, margaritas, tacos, burritos, and tamales. So many good homemade sauces too. They’ve catered an event of mine too and it went so smoothly, everything was perfect. I literally cannot say enough good things about Palenque, my favorite restaurant in Denver!
Grace K — Google review
I don’t understand how this place has anything less than five stars. On multiple occasions at the end of a hard week, my friends and I look for a place to lift us up and always end up at Palenque. Do yourself a favor and grab the case of Fito with chorizo. It’ll turn any frown upside down! We’ve had the ceviche, but don’t recommend it (it’s kind of bland). The chimichanga, the enchiladas, the fajitas, and any of the tacos will blow your socks off. I did feel that the fish tacos were a little scant on the meat, though the flavor was perfect. We always finish with the churros because why not. Of course, you’ll have to try their house margaritas. It’s the perfect way to end a week.
Joey B — Google review
We worked with Todd, the restaurant manager, for our wedding catering, and everything was fantastic. Our menu included tacos (two meats and one vegetarian), rice, beans, chips, salsa, and guacamole for 95 guests. The food was absolutely delicious, and there was plenty for everyone—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! Todd went above and beyond, even calling me a few times before the wedding to check in, answer questions, and make sure I felt comfortable. His team was professional, friendly, and made the whole experience seamless. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them for any event!

Chatfield Dog Park is a must-visit haven for dog enthusiasts looking to give their furry companions an unforgettable day out. Great area to let your furry friends run free. There’s paved walkways as well as dirt trails, benches throughout the park. They also have a swimming area for the doggos that like to cool off. People seem to be pretty good about picking up after their pets and the fee you pay for the park helps maintain the area. There is an entry fee to the park as well as a fee to use the pet area.

We love going to Water 2 Wine. Melissa is always so friendly, knowledgeable and provides great customer service. We have a wine club membership and all her wines are delicious. Highly recommend stopping in for some wine, some snacks and also music. It is a hidden treasure.

Had a 3 o’clock reservation to do a two hour wine tasting. Upon arrival we announced ourselves as having a wine tasting. The first thing he does is to tell us that we need to move to another location because he’s gonna be doing mopping of the floors. Mine you this is 3 o’clock in the afternoon and they don’t close till 7 PM according to their sign. We moved to another location and he brings out a sheet and explain to us the wines and the procedures. He brings out our first samples that we request and begins, mopping the floor all along while other customers not numerous, but are coming in and trying to buy wine and he’s not paying attention to us because he’s the only person working. This is not our first wine tasting by any means as we used to live in California enough said about that. We had to continually keep our eyes up upon him in between mopping to see when he was available to bring us our next tasting. The only reason we gave them a two star is because the wine was good…different and eclectic. However, as far as a wine Tasting goes I cannot recommend this place. In fact I would recommend you go somewhere else where they will give you their full attention and the selection of wines and what to select next… Another note the AC was not working inside and was extremely hot and he suggested that we maybe sit outside if we wanted to to get a breeze . This was not an option as it was 92° outside at the current time that we were there.

Came to Colorado for a concert and mini get away. We decided to look on Groupon for the titanic pop and instead we found this amazing deal for wine tasting with a bottle to take home. The staff was amazing and well knowledgeable. Would definitely come back when we come back to Colorado. ☺️

Wine is amazing, great selection and variety. Melissa is wonderful, she personally greeted everyone and made them feel at home, super chill and even remembered our names even though the only time we said them was on the phone when we called to check about wine tasting. I highly recommend. Low sulfites, no headaches, good people!

We have been coming to this company since 2018. We followed them from one location to another and even moved out of state and came back to join the members club for the 2nd time. We can’t wait to start getting their delicious wine! Malissa and her family always take time to talk with you and educate you on their company as well as treat every person who comes in the door as family!! This is a must try wine location for all of the Denver areas. We travel an hour and half to come here and it is worth it every time. Very happy to support this wonderful wine company!

What an amazing experience from start to finish! Malissa walked us through our 2 hour wine tasting, and it was fantastic. Definitely recommended making a trip out here!

It really is five stars. Heck I would give it 10 if we had the ability to. The reason I gave it three stars so that it stands out because I want the owner to see this and keep them open until late. I mean late like 10 o’clock at night. They close so early. I don’t even have a chance to get out of the house and go enjoy it. But if you’re looking for somewhere to go before 7 PM when they stupidly closed, this is the place for you. This place is so cool. The lady in there that helped us was so nice and such a nice lady. She’s what we say in Nebraska as good people. Marissa, instead of thanking me for my review, can you effect change? Can you make it open later? Please?

Thank you for being such a wonderful place for my 88 year old mother to shop for family gifts and cards for friends. She is no longer comfortable navigating noisy, large stores. I love being able to bring her in at opening time on a weekday and get a parking space right near the door. Your store is so beautiful and your staff is always so helpful and patient with her. I love bringing her in and family members love the great gifts! And we both love supporting Colorado artists!

This is such a great place to shop. Local artisans each have their own space to sell their own merch. There's so much to choose from, really unique items that you can't find anywhere else. They have a rewards program so you can earn money off on future purchases, and they have the vendors come on the weekends to give demos or samples. It's a cool place to find one of a kind gifts for friends, or to treat yourself. Check it out, I bet you'll have a fun time just like I do. I really do love this store :)

I came here for an oil painting class and I'm so glad I did! The class was so fun and intimate. I loved the painting I did over the course of 2 classes. The gallery itself is also so cool - they have so many unique local artists. I bought a few things for myself but I could browse this gallery for a long time!

I live in Idaho. My son and his wife live in Highlands Ranch. Every time I come to visit them, we all go to the ROX Arts Gallery. I enjoy seeing the variety of art on display at the gallery. There is a variety of mediums and subject matter there, from oil paintings to water colors, to mixed medium. There is hand made pottery as well as wheel thrown pottery. Also, hand made cards and jewelry can be found it the gallery. I always find a piece of art or pottery to purchase and take back to Idaho.

Roxborough State Park is a stunning geological wonder that offers visitors an unforgettable experience amidst its striking red-rock formations. Nestled just a short drive from Littleton, this park features well-maintained hiking trails, including the popular Fountain Valley trail, which provides breathtaking views but can be quite hot during midday hikes. The visitor center serves as a great starting point with spacious picnic areas and restrooms for convenience.
Absolutely breathtaking atmosphere. There's several hiking trails that go through the park, I did a few of them & none of them were too difficult. There's a really nice shaded Pavillion where you can sit & enjoy the view/have lunch. It wasn't too crowded when I came either. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, I saw several turkeys & their babies, deer & hummingbirds are active this summer. Tons of pretty wildflowers too. Make sure you bring lots of water & sunscreen, there's not too much shade on the trails.

Our first visit to this state park. Visiting from out of state. Decided that we love to hike and wanted to see what this state has. It's a beautiful park. Has many trails and places to walk. You definitely want to be prepared. Water is essential. Didn't see much wildlife but I know when we were hiking it was a bit warm. Visitor Center was nice. The team of workers are very thoughtful and friendly. Last note. If you are walking to the visitor center. Look at the path on the left. It's a small road. But easier to walk if you have mobility issues.

Gorgeous Park! The visitors center is worth the slight uphill climb. I did the shortest trail and the views were beautiful. Can't wait to visit again and do a more challenging trail!

Loved this park! We went on a Sunday afternoon in October and we had to wait about 10 mins until a few cars left (the max is 100 cars at a time). It was a beautiful park and we talked to the nicest lady at the visitor center. We hiked a 3 mile loop from there and had some beautiful views! This is a hidden gem and you should check it out if you’re in the area!

BEAUTIFUL! What a day hiking around this park in late spring. Wildflowers, lots of trails and what a view! We arrived early on a gorgeous Saturday morning and spent the day wandering around. My personal highlight of the day was the bull snake hauling tail across a path. This snake had places to go and vermin to eat. This is a no dog park. Lucky for you if you didn't check the website for alerts, regulations and need to knows. There is a for a fee dog kennel right outside an entrance for you to drop fido off while you hike around. I have no idea how quickly it fills up. The ranger station is a beautiful building with excellent interpretive displays. The display on how many years your litter takes to break down is eye opening and yes, this includes pistachio shells. Small gift shop in the station with the essential stickers, t-shirts and postcards. #COParksPassport

Roxborough State Park is absolutely amazing. The trails are super clean and well maintained, and I found them really easy to walk, perfect for a peaceful day out in nature. Deer Creek Canyon Park is a stunning natural retreat where outdoor enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while sharing the space with local wildlife like elk, bears, and cougars. This park offers an extensive network of well-maintained trails perfect for long hikes or invigorating trail runs. The terrain features rolling hills and varying inclines, making it suitable for both seasoned hikers and those looking for a more leisurely stroll.
This a wonder park that is located near a couple of other wonderful parks like south valley, the botanical gardens and Chatfield reservoir. It is an open space with some some Picnic shelters. Half of the park is still closed and won’t reopen till August 2025. The trail we took was the trail that went around half the park. I found the gradual grade an easy walk the winded up the hill through a couple of wooded areas. There are restrooms and plenty of parking.

So glad this has reopened (main trail loop)! Favorite place to hike when I don’t feel like driving to the mountains. Love that there are clean bathrooms at the trailhead, and a nice incline going up. You can also do the smaller loop if you’re not up for the steep part to the top. Very pleasant and peaceful. Incredible views. Big parking lot.

Beautiful Park with views of the plains and Denver with vegetarian at the ecotone or transition from plains to mountains.. Great trails for young kids too. However, more than half the park is closed to hiking due to last year's fire.

UPDATE: Following the DCCP closure last August due to the Quarry fire, the park partially re-opened May 15! Full opening scheduled for August 1. Breathtaking views of the Denver skyline, the Front Range and the Hogback to the east, the Rockies to the west. Stay on the trails! Although full recovery will take decades, Mother Nature has already started doing her remediating thing.

Carboy Winery in Littleton is a delightful destination for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Since opening its doors in 2016, this expansive 6,000-square-foot winemaking facility has become a local gem, offering an inviting industrial tasting room complemented by stunning outdoor seating that showcases breathtaking mountain views. The winery specializes in crafting non-sparkling wines from Colorado's Grand Valley, including the acclaimed 2019 Teroldego.
We had a beautiful absolutely flawless wedding rehearsal dinner at Carboy Winery. The arrival of guests was met with the appetizers and charcuterie boards that were amazing. Guests had the drinks they wanted brought to them as ordered. The Dinner was so delicious. Timing of the food was amazing. The hospitality and service were impeccable. I would highly recommend them for any and all occasions. Mallory was so helpful and knowledgeable. She worked with me on several changes to the menu and guest count. All the food we got for the price was far better than all other places we considered. I will definitely visit again and again. PBeck

This place has become my absolute favorite place to come to. The staff here are amazing! They can turn around a bad day in a matter of minutes. Today was the last day of a very long stressful week and Wes, Gabby, and Senia acted like me walking in was the highlight of their day. They had a smile on my face and the perfect wine in front of me in about 90 seconds. If you're not sure about wine, trust me they'll ask you a few questions and you will have the perfect glass in no time. In fact, for the longest time I'd forget what my fave wine was and I would say 'Its the wine Lexi suggested can you get me a glass of that?" These guys are the best!

The rock wall at Ridge Rec Center offers a great opportunity for individuals of all ages to engage in both physical and mental challenges while enjoying themselves. The dedicated staff members, Kate and George, have had a clear positive influence on the users' experiences at the rock wall. Their impressive ability to interact with children and their warm demeanor contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere for everyone who visits.
Lots of fun things to do at the ridge. Rock climbing, swimming, basketball, track, dance and racquet ball. Great playground out front for kids. Make sure you look at the swim schedule that way you can visit when the water feature and slide are on. The big slide is fun and also the lazy river. The rock wall also looks like a blast. Don't forget to check out the programs they have available. Would highly recommend.

I love this rec center but it needs some serious maintenance in the bathrooms. The family bathroom was atrocious. None of the showers worked right and were either freezing cold of blazing hot. It was also filthy. There were open poop diapers in the trash (guest problem, I know but staff should handle the bathroom trash when it’s almost full and foul smelling) and there were brown puddles on the ground by a drain in one of the there was also gross stuff on the walls and mold everywhere! It was so incredibly gross.
Javaneh F — Google review
4 stars for the amenities, hours, and staff. Our whole family likes to swim here. There's a family pool with a slide, a water channel and a kiddie slide. We are here at least once a week. I took off one star because the bathrooms and family locker room are always gross by 2pm. Early morning isn't bad but mid afternoon is terrible. They really need the custodians to do a quick clean up mid day.

I lap swim several times a week at Ridge and am so grateful to have such a lovely pool facility for us to use! If you're able to go in the middle of the day, there's pretty much always open lanes to swim. My only complaint is mostly on other patrons - lots of people will let their kids terrorize the lap lanes despite the fact that there is so much space for kids to play in the other pools/areas.

We rented out the Overlook room for a toddler birthday party. The staff they had working there was very rude. When our time was up, a girl came to our room and announced our time was up and we needed to leave. We were aware and were in the process of cleaning up. There are other better ways to inform us kindly. The facility does not have life vests or rent any and we had forgotten our puddle jumper. When I asked the front desk they said they didn’t have life vests. They had towels to rent for $7 though. The same rude girl turned to me and said no we do not have life vests. SORRY. Again, no ounce of kindness. This was our first time renting at this facility and I will say my interactions prior with Belinda was lovely in addition to the women I spoke to when I came in to sign the rental. The staff who work on the weekends need some training on kindness with people who come into the facility.
Michelle D — Google review
We rented the party room attached to the pool for a 5 year old birthday party. The party started at 2. By 2:30 the kids were ready to go to the pool. The pool was on a break from what seemed to be a life guard break but after 15 min we went to ask a life guard. They said it would be closed for another 40 min or longer. So I spoke to the front desk because by this time our party would be almost over. The kids would have maybe 30 min before we had to be out the room. I asked if we could take them to the therapy pool. She said no that one is broken. I asked what options we have. She said we could get rentry bands or a refund. I told her a refund and we would take the party to our house. Then we broke the news to our daughter. There were tears and disappointment of course by the majority of the kids. Then a parent was told by a life guard that there was fecal matter and that it would be closed for a while. I mean that’s understandable and appreciated and gross! Then the same lady from the front came back in and said well it might be open in 20 min. At this time the parents did not want to get in the pool with the added chemicals and fecal issues I don’t blame them, neither did we. Especially with the Nora virus going around right now. So I said we will just take the refund. The manager then said no they can’t do that. Per their policy they have no control over fecal issues. She was waving her hands around and clearly not fit for a customer service position. She refunded us the wrist bands but nothing more. So we had a party room that was not cleaned and not use of the pool and it cost us $100. I feel the situation should have been handled and communicated a lot better. First, maybe don’t tell the details of what happened maybe just say we have to clean or sorry for the delay. Maybe say I can get you a ball or you can go run on the gym or have a bigger room to play games in. Maybe don’t argue and wave hands around and be flat rude to your customers. Maybe don’t say a refund is an option and then take it back or better yet say it won’t be open then it will and get kids crying at a party all over again. The entire thing was not handled well. We will never have a pool party again. If you want to have a party that your kid might end up in tears at then it might be worth the chance. We won’t ever chance it again. Make sure to read the fine print in the policy. You might want to consider back up options for the unfortunate event that this happens again. From the sounds of it by being in the policy it sounds like that’s a likely possibly. Little kids look forward to their birthday parties for months. As a parent it’s disappointing that your team didn’t care at all. We go to the Ridge for lots of events and never had anything like this happen before. Maybe consider new management?

Dance here wasn't very good they also would cancel classes all of the time and still charged you for the whole month. For example, on the 4th of july, they canceled classes that whole week and emailed you that week stating classes wouldn't be happening at all the whole week. Ridiculous and unprofessional Jared also hires a teacher who doesn't like ballet and complains daily about teaching the classes but still does them. If you can't hire a teacher that actually enjoys teaching it, then you should find somebody who does enjoy that dance style. We also went on vacation for a week as well, and the teacher had an absolute fit about us not being able to make it that week. Considering foothills closes down so many times without notice in advance and still charges you for classes, I suggest you avoid these dance classes. You can go to many other studios for about 20 bucks more who dont cancel without notice.

We come here often with the Scout Troop. We love the climbing wall and the prices are much cheaper than a climbing gym. Once you take the belay class you can climb on your own. The pool staff is always willing to let us use the safety equipment for water rescue training.

Visitors can also enjoy a full arcade and go-kart racing, ensuring hours of excitement.
Came here today with my wife, brother, younger sister, and daughter—and we had an absolute blast! There’s seriously something for everyone here. Between the five of us, we got to enjoy so much: a full arcade, zip line around the park, ropes course, go-karts, a huge trampoline park with tons of different activities, a ninja warrior course, rock climbing wall, laser tag, and so much more. We spent about 3 hours here and loved every minute. Pricing is more than fair—around $120 for all five of us, and that included everything mentioned above. The café has a nice selection of food and drinks, and they even serve alcohol (we didn’t have any, but it’s a nice plus). Overall, Urban Air is an awesome place for family fun, and we’re already planning our next trip. Highly recommend!

We have came to this establishment many times and this is the first time we have experienced a very rude disrespectful teenage employee. On the sky ryder there was a sign on the bottom that simply said if you need help putting on your harness to bring it up and a worker will help you first of all if you do not have enough workers for safety purposes, you should shut that area down don’t assume a kid knows how to put on their harness There were two older kids in front of my kid. There were between 10 and 12 years old putting on their own harness, my kid is seven didn’t know how to put it on so she walked up to the worker to ask for help worker assumed that she was cutting in front of the girls and very rudely told her to go back in line. I’m not too sure what else she told my daughter but my daughter came down crying and my daughter told me that the worker told her to go back down so my husband got upset walked up there and told her there’s a sign down there for people that don’t know how to put it on, and that you would help she was rude and very disrespectful. He came back down another young girl claiming to be the supervisor started going off on us, gave us no chance to speak And my husband told her I wanna speak to your manager and she said oh well I am the manager and he told her I want someone above you so all she said was follow me and kept walking. I told my husband to watch our kid while I go talk to someone higher. I waited outside of the office. The young sassy, so-called supervisor with no customer experience service didn’t say one word to me not even a my manager will be out shortly just walked right past me with sassiness. A lady came out and asked me what was going on and I clearly explained to her what happened and I told her your workers need to know how to explain to children better she could easy said stand in line and when it’s your turn, I will help you And when a parent comes out with concern, you don’t just be sassy and be disrespectful that upset my husband and then you would think that a supervisor that is supposed to handle these situations properly would have better customer service. I honestly believe that those two workers should’ve been sent home if they don’t know how to talk to their customers they shouldn’t be working in a children’s establishments. We walked over to the ball pit area, and you can clearly see that they don’t have enough workers today. There was not one worker in the trampoline area the Paul pool area if you ain’t got enough workers to supervise each children and to advise them what the rules are Then close for the day I as a parent watch my kid, but everybody knows a lot of parents just sit on their butt and stare at their phones and don’t even watch their kids. Corporate needs to do something about this. Don’t hire anybody off the streets just to open your facility especially disrespectful kids that don’t know customer service that give attitude that is just therefore a paycheck and clearly hates their job.. one worker for the entire floor not even watching sitting on the massage chair staring at his electronics.. the manager should be out on the floor making sure the workers are doing there job….
Zoeann P — Google review
We have overall been satisfied with the park and its amenities. However I wanted to give a warning to parents about the massage chairs. I had $10 taken from my debit card when trying to use a broken massage chair. According to the manager, the chairs work “50% of the time”, they could not refund my money “because it was an outside vendor” and they refused to put up a sign saying the chair was not working which I thought was unethical. So spare your money and don’t pay for a massage chair. Otherwise, the park is a lot of fun and my kids really enjoyed it.

I had an amazing experience at Urban Air, but what truly stood out was Bryce. His unmatched work ethic and genuine care made all the difference for me and my four kids. He went above and beyond by offering help with patience and kindness. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and attentive. Bryce is truly a standout. Urban Air is lucky to have him!

Booked my daughter’s 9th birthday party here and we will definitely be back; and I hope to request Taya Kinnon as our host again. Taya was absolutely wonderful thank you for making this the perfect party we couldn’t have done it without you Taya. The best service we have ever received truly, you had everything running so smoothly everyone enjoyed themselves and left happy thank you again.
Lindsey M — Google review
This was by far the worst experience we have ever had at this establishment. The manager, Jack, conducted himself in an appalling manner—falsely accusing, intimidating, and even frightening children over an incident that was actually initiated by another child. Instead of responsibly handling the situation, he chose to stalk and berate the kids, flexing his authority in the most inappropriate way possible. Only after the children spoke up did he finally approach the parents, where he attempted to continue his power trip—escalating matters further and nearly provoking a physical altercation with adults. His unprofessionalism and reckless behavior not only ruined a birthday party but also left a lasting negative impact on our children. Jack’s conduct was disgraceful, and it reflects poorly on the business as a whole. This establishment has lost our trust, our respect, and our business—we will never return.
MrV T — Google review
When we arrived the staff was not helpful at all being it was our first time there. Took 20 minutes just to buy tickets online as the pass we saw online was not offered in person. The staff running the zipline was not attending to anyone. The kids harnesses were not secured correctly. The staff primarily set on their phones or seemed annoyed when you asked for help or when the kids needed assistance. When we got in line for the go carts the staff tried to put our two kids in one go cart. When I told him they wanted to drive on their own he was upset and was going to make them go back to the end of the line after we sat there for 20 minutes already while he took his sweet time doing anything. We paid over 70 dollars for this visit. The ideal of this place is amazing, but there needs to be a manager on duty and some oversight of the kids. Employee training on safety needs to happen as well

Amazing and unique natural beauty which runs along the "hogback". Trail surface is hard packed sand and gravel which is both dry and firm and makes for easy transit. Easy hills, meadows, stunning views, and many photogenic rock formations.

Civic Green Park is a delightful oasis in Highlands Ranch, perfect for families and nature lovers alike. This park boasts a lush, tree-dotted lawn with vibrant gardens and ample space for picnicking under the shade of its pavilions, which can accommodate up to 100 guests. Kids will love the playgrounds designed for various age groups, as well as the exciting splash pads that come alive during summer months.
I love this colorful park in Highlands Ranch. There is something to do for everyone. Enjoy walking the grounds and paths and taking in the flowers and beautiful landscaping. There are 2 splash pads and a small creek for kids to play in. There are plenty of trees to find a nice, shady spot for a blanket. There are also 3 pavilions with covered picnic tables. The parking can fill up, so come early in the summertime. However, it's not too bad as people are always coming and going. I am a nanny during the summer, and I absolutely love taking my children to this park. It fills up a lot of time, and as an added bonus, the library is adjacent.

Awesome park, gorgeous landscape, Dfiant garden area with must see plants yly won’t find anywhere else. Play structures for kids of all ages, no swings but has a canal and you can let kids splash around in it, also has a splash pad where water shouts out from, area for picnics and concerts both. Very safe neighborhood. Book themes as well featuring if you give a mouse a cookie and charlottes web.

Nice little park for young kids. There is a small play set, a climbing web, and a bouncer. The best parts are water features. Their is a little stream for kids to play in, a small fountain splash pad, and a larger splash pad at the amphitheater that is only on a certain times of the day. The library next door is a good place to take kids to cool down after playing in the park. Big open grass area for play as well.

36Harriman Lake Park

Park
Harriman Lake Park is a delightful upland prairie destination that features a serene central lake, perfect for fishing enthusiasts. The park boasts a 1.4-mile interpretive hiking trail, ideal for leisurely walks or invigorating runs with your furry friends—just remember to keep them leashed! While the trail can get muddy in spots due to its dirt and gravel composition, it offers beautiful views of the surrounding foothills and is generally less crowded with cyclists.
Great location, lakes a bit low but the bite is hot. Great views, great trails, lots of bird activity for those bird watching enthusiasts.
J.P. V — Google review
Nice little trail for walking your dog or taking a short run. The trail is dirt and in some spots gravel, so it gets muddy. There is a little parking lot (there's probably enough room for 30 cars) and a porta-potty. Dogs are allowed on this trail, but they must all be leashed. There are also dog poop bags available and a trash can.
Rachel B — Google review
Nice park around a lake. Keep an eye out for the entrance. Even though I knew it was coming, I had to circle back. Entrance and exit in the same area, treat that with caution too. My friend and I did a couple loops and figured that was about enough. Dirt parking lot, almost wish there were some lines to separate different areas, but I doubt they commonly have a full parking lot. Saw people fishing. Not much in the way of shade unless you get closer to the water. I would definitely come back here to run.
A D — Google review
Parking lot located off Route 391/ Kipling Street. Nice short walk with a great view of the foothills. The map doesn't show it, but there's actually a flat trail that goes around the lake. The water was clear, and it looks like some people fish there too. Not much shade on the walk. Dog-friendly with trash cans available.
Alisa O — Google review
Very nice path around the lake. Not too many bicyclists which is nice. There usually is wind and also only about %35 spots with direct access to the water. A good exercise lap for certain. The dog loves it and usually not too many people. Not a lot of shade, unfortunately.
Thekreal — Google review
We’ve done family photos here, but also just a perfect loop and the kids love riding their bikes and playing in the water.
Jess M — Google review
Love this little trail because it only takes about 30-35min to walk, it’s about 1.5-1.6mi. Some parts have shade but most is open, the water level is super low right now but still offers some great views. If you’re looking to get out of the house without a huge walking commitment- this is the place.

2023-May, Monday, Memorial Day. Lots of parking. There were not many people when we were there. We arrived around 2 pm. It was a nice park. It has a big field, and the ladies restroom has 2 stalls, a pond, shaded tables, and a soccer field. Across the parking space is a skate park.

Very peaceful in the evenings. The tennis courts are well kept and so are the soccer fields. The restrooms are well kept too, though the metal toilet was a bit... cold and odd, and the lack of towels or air dryer to dry your hands.

Redstone is one of the nicest parks we've visited in the area for little kids. There are 3 separate play structures for different ages, several swings, a nice duck pond, picnic areas, and even a skatepark and various athletic fields. There is a small park for young kids. Enough parking space all around and restrooms. Definitely recommend visiting this playground cum park

Such a beautiful park and area. Lots of parking. You can see the mountains in the background. There we're lots of soccer fields so the boys had a blast playing. Kids enjoyed the playground. Free entrance of course. Only complaint was the animal feces all over the grass. There were areas from the deer around the grass by the playground. But the areas in the soccer fields were insane! I have never seen so many drippings before. There was not one inch you could walk in without stepping on it. Fresh and old/dried. So nasty. I'm so thankful the boys' soccer fields are clean where we live. I could never handle coming here every week for games, and sitting and playing in this.
Cassandra L — Google review
Great, wide open space sports and recreation park. A place for open-air concerts, lots of parking, and good access to clean restrooms.
Martyn B — Google review
We play soccer here most weeks. The grass is in great shape. The playground is convenient and large enough to keep kids occupied. Parking can be hard at times depending on how many soccer games are being held. The one negative of the park is the main restrooms with running water were not open most of spring so you had to walk to the far ends of the park to use the permanent port-o-potties.

Not too busy on a cool 80° Friday! The only thing keeping this park from being a perfect five is the lack of water spigots. There are plenty of extra baggie posts and trash cans scattered throughout, which is super convenient. Otherwise, it’s a great little spot to stroll through a natural landscape with lots of wonderful smells for dogs to sniff. There are plenty of shady spots for owners to sit and lots of trees providing shade throughout this lovely park.

We usually leave a couple cars at the Brent Mayne baseball fields where we will exit the water, deflate tubes and shuttle everyone back for another run or a beer at Breckinridge Brewery! We bring our own tubes each time. We have had other friends try to rent tubes near the landing but they were all reserved for the day so I would definitely make a reservation if you choose that route.

46Creekside Experience Park

3.9
(32)
Park
Creekside Experience Park offers a natural play experience with its nature-inspired playground featuring a treehouse, climbing boulders, and a water play area where families can interact with the flow using natural logs. Situated near the South Platte Greenway, it's an ideal spot for families to take a break during a bike ride. Additionally, visitors can explore nearby Rocky Mountain National Park for wildlife spotting, trails, and camping.
This is such an awesome nature play area! It has a sand area with a teepee. There’s also a tree house structure. And access to the creek! This park is right off Santa Fe, in a pretty industrial area, but it's so cool!!

It's clean you can take your pets there and it's handy it was put together very well and it's I found it under Santa Fe there's probably a million cars that drive over the top of it but it's a beautiful place that no one ever sees
Timothy H — Google review
Nice clean little park next to the bike tail and a small creek. Note there are no bathrooms or picnic tables.

Great place for photography practice! Looks beautiful in fall during the golden hour
Heather E — Google review
Our family really looked forward to visiting this park. Upon arriving there were several transient tents and people all around. Super unfortunate that this park isn't safe for a family to visit. Hopefully Littleton can clean this park up.
Dillon L — Google review
It is a wonderful park that is usually really quite with only a quick walk to get to the Platte 😍
Mayme R — Google review
Numerous reviews saying no bathrooms.... I've seen on more than one occasion a few....unsavory individuals hunker down for a squat and do thier business here. This should be a fun and educational place for kids, but instead, it's very isolated and very frequented by...not kids and families. If you're looking for a good place to find dirty needles, here's your spot.
Chris J — Google review
I didn’t feel safe there with my two little kids. We were the only people there late morning on a weekday, save for two adult men who hunkered down in the wooden structure when they saw us approach from the trail. The park itself seemed ok - very bare bones - but the isolation combined with the shady characters caused us to leave.

I've always loved Foothills Golf Course. I've been playing here for 25 years and always have a great time on the Par 3, Executive 9, and every once in a while, Championship 18.

Beautiful weather got paired up with two wonderful people to complete the foursome course was in great condition atmosphere was very settled and laid-back had a great round of golf only reason for not getting 5 stars refreshment cart person left early approximately 3 p.m. and due to slow play from groups further ahead of us we kept getting the ball hit into our group of players from teenage boys who did not understand etiquette otherwise we had a wonderful day and would recommend playing golf at Jefferson County Foothills Golf course it is a wonderful place also had delicious food at the 19th Hole Bar and Restaurant
Marcelino G — Google review
First time playing course and was very pleasntly surprised. Course has some wide open holes and a few Target holea

Playground equipment supplier
Star Playgrounds is known for their excellent customer service. Hannah was quick to answer the call and offered assistance in identifying the play system through photos. This level of helpfulness was greatly appreciated by the customer.
I called this morning and Hannah answered my call right away. She was very helpful. I was unsure of the manufacture of the play system I currently have and she offered to allow me to send some pictures so she could tell me where it is from. Thank you! I really appreciate the help.

Extremely disappointed with this company. If we had know then what we know now, we would have never done business with them. They don’t return e mail or phone calls. I even went up to the CEO for help but no answer. If you want a company that will take care of your needs and be respectful of your time, and return your calls and e mails, this is not the one. Sorry!!
