The Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg is a vibrant hub for arts and culture. Housed in a historic building dating back to 1935, it offers a variety of activities for all ages and interests, including art exhibitions, live performances, educational programs, and lectures. The center showcases the work of emerging local artists and provides insight into Oregon's history. It also serves as a venue for free community events and offers affordable classes and camps for individuals with varying artistic levels and interests.
I can't say enough good stuff about the ceramics instructors. I have been taking classes from one of them for nearly two years. She is pretty awesome. She brings the fun into learning that helps students get past the inevitable clay disasters. I can't review CCC without mentioning their core values. The want art to be accessible to everyone. When I started I was in a bad place with my health and on disability that only pays 60% of your base salary. I desperately needed a creative outlet that could accommodate the double vision I had developed. Everywhere that I called had class prices far out of my range. But CCC not only advertised their desire to make art açcessible, they actually do. Their scholarship program has made possible a miracle in my life, helped me fight off depression and PTSD. I love this place so much I drive down from Portland.

Very small. A limited amount photos, paintings, sculpture. If you're coming for the art, look elsewhere. They also offer classes which may be more attractive, although I didn't take any. There's also a ballroom.

This place always does a great job putting on free events for the community, being an affordable venue and hosting camps/classes for people of all artistic levels and interests! I highly recommend taking a class, renting for an event, and/or coming for a Cultural Experience!
Aspen B — Google review
I love this place! A beautifully modern conversion of an old school with generous space for concerts, events, and activities. Musicians may appreciate the rentable music rooms and recording studio, parents would appreciate the art classes. I adore how ccc makes art in many forms accessible to the community. The grounds are beautiful as well with gorgeous flower beds and a fun play structure for kids nearby.

I rented this venue for my wedding this weekend. I paid $2800 with $200 deposit, and now they’re charging me an extra $900!! This is ridiculous and upsetting because they’re charging me for cleaning fees, when the man we spoke to told us they were going to clean it for with no reference to a fee, if I knew there was going to be a fee, I would have refused and cleaned the salon myself. On top of that they’re charging me a free for having “too many people,” when I did not even have more than 196 chairs. I know there was 196 chairs because I rented chair covers for what I had. I asked for 24 tables and 9 chairs, but they only didn’t 24 tables and 8 chairs. I even have videos showing empty tables and chairs!! In addition, they did not even have good, ventilated A/C, it was embarrassing because people came up to me personally and told me it was very hot and left early for that reason. They’re also trying to charge me for two rocks missing from the art gallery, even though the space was also open to the public. My florist came the night before the wedding to set up the flowers, and she said she saw rats!! My flowers died the day of my actually wedding because the A/C Doesn’t work. I spent more than $500 on my flowers, for no reason. Employees of this venue even told me the A/C wasn’t functioning properly. My drinks, along with ice was melted and hot. The rest of the building’s A/C was perfectly fine. They’re also charging me a couple of $100s to for boxes left when they told me I could come the following day to pick it up, but the space was closed so how could I pick it up???. I would not recommend this place!!
Danira H — Google review
We rented this venue for my cousins baby shower. our guest list was long and we were in need of a wheel chair accessible venue. The Cultural center was hands down the best venue for an event with wheel chairs. Andrew was amazing through the whole process. he took every phone call I made to him and helped me find solutions for all of the last minute worries with a fantastic attitude. Our family will definitely rent this space again I am sure. If you need a venue that is modern, accessible and easy to do business with call the cultural center and ask for Andrew. You wont be disappointed.

Very inviting atmosphere, quiet and somewhat peaceful. Attended an art show and was pleased with the exhibition. In the main lobby were other art objects as part of the cultural center's affiliation with local galleries.

The Painted Lady is a lavish restaurant located in Newberg, Oregon, offering French-influenced New American tasting menus and a selection of Oregon wines. Housed in a beautifully restored Victorian home, this establishment provides an exceptional dining experience with artfully crafted courses made from fine ingredients and locally sourced wines. It stands out as one of the finest dining destinations in the Northwest, promising an unforgettable culinary journey for visitors.
My wife and I visited the Willamette Valley for our anniversary, and this place made our trip! Each course was plated beautifully, absolutely delicious, and most importantly with an omasake type presentation was just the right amount of food! The service was excellent, and they even brought us a delicious complimentary cake at the end to celebrate our anniversary! We have added The Painted Lady to our list of places to go whenever we're in Oregon, and it's definitely worth the trip from Portland!
Laki V — Google review
Drove down to Newberg from Seattle just to eat at The Painted Lady—and the 4-hour trip was totally worth it. From the moment we walked in, our server made us feel super taken care of and explained each dish and wine pairing really well. We had about 9 or 10 courses, and everything tasted amazing. My favorite was the Ube Genoise—every bite was magical, and I honestly could’ve had three more. They were great about our dietary restrictions too—I had the vegetarian menu and loved how thoughtful and creative each dish was. The Miso custard and agnolotti with the sourdough bread were so good. They even brought out a chocolate cake for us to take home, to celebrate my spouse’s birthday, which was such a sweet touch. Definitely a great spot for a special occasion or just a really nice dinner.
Rashmi J — Google review
My partner and I had dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary on July 12. There were 10 courses, not including the anniversary cake. Everything was delicious. I heard the miso custard has been a popular dish and yes, that WAS really good, but the canapes was just as good. I was amazed how crispy the mushroom was. I have a big appetite but by the time they brought the dessert, I was stuffed. I just took a bite and my partner finished the rest. It took us 2 hours to eat everything, but we probably should have slowed down. I didn't take a picture of it, but they had decaf. Towards the end, I saw a fly, which was the only negative feedback on the Painted Lady.
Bon B — Google review
I was disappointed by this place as a whole. To be fair to them, their service was amazing- no complaints about their waitstaff. We did not do a wine pairing because we had been tasting all day and the pours were very generous at other tables- but it would’ve been a great option if we weren’t already a bit wined out. On the negative, the food. The portions were reasonable- we were full at the end- but the food itself was very, very underwhelming. In particular, the albacore loin was extremely fishy. We could smell it as it was coming to the table. You can’t serve something that is clearly that old/not fresh at this price tag. Was unable to eat it. Everything else was just ok. I feel like they tried to over complicate things to make them appear more high end rather than actually focusing on ingredients and flavors. Would unfortunately not recommend this place. Better food for 1/3 the price elsewhere.
Ashley S — Google review
My wife and I visited for our honeymoon and while the service was pleasant, the food was completely underwhelming in almost every way. It’s a tasting menu, so smaller, more curated dishes are to be expected–but every course was either very under seasoned, or just…boring. The salmon was not fresh at all and I could smell the fishy-ness as they brought it out from the kitchen. It was a blah course overall. The pasta and romesco sauce were devoid of any salt whatsoever, and the accompanying pork belly (2 bacon bits sized pieces mind you) were dry and hard. The steak course was fine, but that’s a low bar as it’s not hard to cook a good quality steak. The dessert course seemed like they didn’t know what exactly they wanted to do and threw a few things together which was a rubbery mess overall. The atmosphere was also…something. But I’ll leave that up to personal preference and ultimately isn’t why we chose this option for our honeymoon. The Painted Lady simply does not live up to the experience one would expect to have when spending $460 on dinner. This may seem as a harsh review, but we wish we would’ve known better before coming and made other plans. We’ve visiting numerous other fine dining establishments (including tasting menu dinners) while spending less $$ and having 10x the experience in every way possible.
Colton W — Google review
We went to celebrate an anniversary and it was one of the best dining experiences I've had and the best in Portland by far. We had the full 8 course tasting menu. Service was very friendly and attentive and the food was incredible. Tons of really complex dishes both in flavor and texture. I felt like I was slipping closer and closer to unconscious bliss with every bite. Food coma! The dining area is cozy and candle lit. Will definitely be back the next time we're in Portland!
Phi D — Google review
Hands down the most amazing food experience I have ever taken part in. Went there for our 24th anniversary and it was simply magical. There was not 1 thing I didn't just drool all over. Those tastes I tasted defy explanation. And with the wine pairing, it just made the evening perfect. This is a true hidden gem.

The Hoover-Minthorn House Museum is the childhood residence of President Herbert Hoover from 1885 to 1891. It showcases authentic 19th-century furnishings and offers free guided tours. This historical home in Oregon provides a unique opportunity to learn about the life of the nation's 31st President. The museum offers a glimpse into his humble beginnings and what it was like to live in a small house during that time period. Visitors can enjoy the informative and friendly guidance of knowledgeable staff members.
I took my kids to their fall harvest party. Kids had a blast making corn husk dolls, and doing various other crafts. Enjoyed some apple cider too! Museum is super interesting, a lot of neat items to look at and people are very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Highly recommend stopping by, especially if you love history!

Interesting piece of history about our president who was born in Iowa in ended up here after his parents died. A guide was on hand who was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly had an interest in history.

So much fun history to see! A really great attraction to visit when you’re in Newberg. I went to school through first grade in Newberg and I had no idea Herbert Hoover lived there in the late 1800s! The tour guide, whose name I neglected to get, was so knowledgeable and kind. She did a great job to keep us engaged and keep the tour fun while also teaching us some really cool history!
Alecsa A — Google review
Very pretty and well restored. It really is interesting to see Hoover’s childhood come to life through surviving materials and images (including the bed he slept on as a child and the pear tree that the Minthorn family grew). It truly is a walk through history and the tour guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked it so much that I went back a second time after about a year and a half for a refresher. I am looking forward to the summer events that take place at the house.
Caleb E — Google review
It’s a very nice experience to learn more about! And we as Oregonians I am proud to say Hoover was a great person
Ramces A — Google review
Visiting the museum house was a pretty fascinating experience. I didn’t know much of the history of how Hoover and his siblings came to Newberg. The fact that the house is still standing after all these decades is remarkable. Learning about the history behind it and its connection to Herbert Hoover added another layer of intrigue to the visit. The clothing and decor on display added a nostalgic charm to the whole experience. It felt like stepping back in time and getting a glimpse into the past. Overall, it was a cool and educational outing that I truly enjoyed.

Sadly I was there on a day that it was closed. I did walk around and enjoyed area.

Small, go at your own pace, historical home dedicated to President Herbert Hoover and one of his childhood homes. Free guided tours. Also has air conditioning, so it was a nice respite on our warm hike around town. We enjoyed ourselves, and I would definitely take my mom next time she comes to visit :)

I stopped with some friends to pop in and visit a friend of the family and take an impromptu tour. This campus is just the cutest. The fact that lots of buildings have so many windows, which encapsulate the outdoor feel is the highlight of this college. The bridge to the other side of campus & chapel are just adorable 🥰

As a future college student, the first things I noticed about this campus are that it emphasizes a close community, and focusing our lives on Jesus. Their promise, which is stated repeatedly in their informational sessions, is "Be Known." Ant of the graduates could tell you that it is a true promise that George Fox will keep.

Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery is located at the historic Springbrook Hazelnut Farm, offering a unique tasting experience with its dedication to brewing styles that incorporate wild yeasts and barrel-aging in wine and spirits barrels. The brewery prides itself on using pure Parrett Mountain water, house yeast cultures, local grains, and hops. Visitors can enjoy the outdoor beer garden while savoring the uniquely crafted beers made from local ingredients.
Decent beer selection. Super dog friendly. They have snacks but not food— so they’re cool with you bringing your own! Nice outdoor area and it gets pretty busy!

Great experience! We were a group of 8 visiting from out of state and tried all thirteen beers they offered on tap (and a few they had only in cans). Found something that suited everyone’s taste. The team was super friendly and engaging. Love the homey entrepreneurial spirit exhibited by the owner. If you are in the Newberg area, it is well worth the visit!
John M — Google review
Visiting from Michigan, I'd heard about Wolves & People from a friend who visits every time he's in Oregon, and I was excited to check them out... and it definitely didn't disappoint. I've been to many breweries, and Wolves & People is one of the best (and most interesting) I've been to—not just in Oregon, but anywhere! Everything on tap was unique and delicious, the setting is beautiful, and our bartender was incredibly fun to chat with. I love everything about this place. If I could give Wolves & People more than 5 stars, I would.
Travis R — Google review
Great experience overall! Hard to find breweries with beers like this! My actual score would be somewhere around 4.6-4.7, but in general, this is a place I would highly recommend everyone checkout. Things I would love to see change to take this place up a notch? 1) Install a sound system for music instead of just a little Bluetooth speaker. It will distribute sound more evenly and add to the atmosphere you're creating. 2) Offer some sort of snack item with the beer. Meats and cheeses go perfectly with the beer and only add to the atmosphere being created here! Perhaps a charcuterie board? It doesn't have to be anything big. Keep it minimal and selective 👍👍
Noah F — Google review
Came in for the first time to some soothing bluegrass by locals who loved what they were doing and really made for a great atmosphere. WC IPA was delish, and the Hazy IPA was also on point. Could use some wine, cider, or seltzers for gf who doesn't like beer. But otherwise, love this very cool, chill, relaxing spot.
J K — Google review
Great dog friendly location with amazing views. The staff is knowledgeable and personable (I wish it hadn't been so busy because i would have loved chatting longer). The beer here is delicious and unique. A must stop for anyone passing through. I would come here again and again....if only I lived closer.
Anthony M — Google review
Unique beer in unique location. Located in an old farmhouse in Newberg, Wolves & People has perfected the enjoyment of physically distanced beer. The taplist always has plenty of interesting small batch creations made with ingredients sourced from the property. Kids and well behaved dogs are welcome. Bottles and cans are available to go as well as crowlers of their draft beers. Enjoy!
Sanjay R — Google review
A perfect place to take your beer enthusiast and even the family. My husband is a brewer and enjoys this place so much. They are a farm style brewing company with an unusual flare for beer you can’t find elsewhere. There are games for kids to play and lot of land to wonder on while you sip your brew. It’s definitely one of our favorite spots to grab a cold one.

Herbert Hoover Park, located near Newberg, Oregon, is a historical park offering hiking trails and picnic areas along the Willamette River. Visitors can immerse themselves in pioneer history while enjoying budget-friendly attractions in nearby cities like West Linn and Portland. The park features a clean and fun playground area for kids, with some muddy spots after rainy days. Despite some teens taking over the playground at dusk, it's still a pleasant place to visit.
Came here to take some Fall pictures with the family because the leaves are turning and this park is beautiful. The Sun was shining the weather was nice and because it's in a kind of valley / depression the wind was pretty still down where we were it was lovely and pleasant.
Tim W — Google review
The green areas are great, and it's great for taking a walk or going to the disc golf. The only place that was a bit unpleasant was the playground, it's sad how bad it smells. We weren't able to stay in the playground, you can't enjoy it.
Adri K — Google review
I put up a really bad review at the beginning of the season because I was really tired of this place looking so horribly. If it hadn't been recently taken down I was coming back to update it. I went yesterday and it was cleaned up better than I've ever seen. I am so proud, everything is cleaned up and landscaped and awesome. Now if we all try just a little, we can keep it clean!! I am so happy it changed!

I'm getting married at the Chehalem Cultural Center in August. My fiancé and I were looking for a place to take pictures 📸 close by. I know that it's spring now, and everything won't be this lush, but I find this park a must-see for pictures if you like green hills and three quaint little bridges going over a little stream.
Cheryl A — Google review
Beautiful and awesome park. It is a steep walk down into the central area, but worth it. The kids park area is great. The ground was hot when we were there but the slide and play structure was not, which was something we were worried about. 7yo rated it a 10 out of 3, whatever that means.
Lauren W — Google review
Love this little park. Clean, fun and a nice little hike/walk after the playground. Walk was a bit muddy, so prepare if it’s been overly rainy, but nothing some boots can’t handle next time There were a few teens taking over the playground around dusk which was a little uncomfortable with my 4yo, however, they’re kids too and it was nearly dark so we went ahead and finished our playing for the day. All around it’s a very nice park.

Recipe is a charming restaurant located in a restored Victorian house, offering an artisanal menu that changes with the seasons and features locally sourced ingredients. The dining rooms are cozy and intimate, with ambient music creating a relaxed atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy courtyard seating for a more al fresco experience. The menu offers a variety of delectable dishes, from soups to pasta and steak, all prepared with great attention to detail.
Once in a while you stumble over a restaurant that exceeds any expectation you may have from the reviews and absolutely blows your mind. “Recipe” is that kind of restaurant. Atmosphere Imagine an old Victorian house where each room is converted to exquisite but cozy and intimate dining rooms with ambient tunes playing from the speakers at a level that promotes and allows for conversation. There is also a cozy courtyard type seating. We had not made reservations so we were seated at the bar which was perfect for us. Drinks My wife ordered a lemon drop and I got a Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned. Nothing out of the ordinary when it came to the order, but our bartender, Jessica, blew our minds. The Lemon drop was perfect; not to acidic and not to sweet. My old fashioned came with an ice cube made of bitters…I’m going to steal that idea. For the dinner Jessica recommended a 2018 Raptor Ridge Pinot Noir. Our interpretation of its expression: Dark fruits, coffee, toast, (hint of) licorice, bold. It was a great choice for our dinner and worth the 3x markup. (Price point: $87 - retails for ~$28). Appetizers My wife had a radicchio salad with eggs, casteveltrano olives, breadcrumbs and a light Caesar vinaigrette. It should be named “Ridiculous Radicchio” - it was SO good. I went for the tartare which came with an aioli with a slight kick. I have never had tartars with home made, herbed potato chips but it gave a perfect crisp and complemented the tartare very well. Definitely among the all-time best tartare I have ever had. Dinner We chose the Bourridge (somewhat like a bouillabaisse, but in an aioli based cream sauce. It came with cod, colossal shrimp, mussels and garlic crostinis. It was sublime both in terms of presentation and flavors. We also shared a Casio e Pepe which came in browned butter - if I was to describe it in one word, it would be “sinful”. SO darn good. Dessert My wife went for the Almond cake and I ordered the chocolate semifreddo. The sponge of the almond cake was perfect and the sweetness was contrasted with the cherry coulis - again, absolutely exquisite! The semifreddo came on a flourless chocolate cake and (I believe, with a coffee/chocolate crème). This was the only (small) disappointment of the whole evening. I had expectations of a half soft semifreddo, but the ball was frozen to hard ice cream. No biggie, but it was not a semifreddo. Thank you to the kitchen of Recipe for a wonderful, delicious and memorable evening!

We happened upon this wonderful place while driving back to Portland from Salem. It was 9 pm on a Saturday night, we were hungry, and spotted this lovely, cozy patio (under a big tree with cafe lights) that was actually open! The five of us were seated right away (we had masks and we all facing out, not straight across from each other), and the servers were excellent and friendly. We each ordered a different item from the menu, and everyone was very happy with their dinners. The radicchio salad I had was EXCELLENT and the Blue Plate special (pork cheeks) that my husband had was so tender he didn't even need to use the sharp knife provided. So, the dinner was excellent. Then, as we left at 10:00 closing time . . I stupidly left my purse at the table. I didn't realize it until we got back to Portland an hour later. We called the restaurant, but everyone was long gone, and it wasn't opening again until Tuesday, 3 days later. I was frantic, as we had to drive back to Seattle the next day. We emailed the restaurant, without much hope. Sure enough, though, the next morning at about 8:00 am, owner Paul called! He had my purse in his safe and very kindly offered to mail it to me, or to meet us back at the restaurant that morning (even though it was closed). So we drove back to Seattle via Newberg, met Paul, and rescued the purse. I can't thank Paul enough for that kind gesture, as well as for the excellent dinner--we'll be back!

It has been a long time since we had dinner here, but they still have the same great service and food. After a day spent wine tasting, it was a nice way to end the day by sharing a salad and the slow braised Wild Boar (which was fantastic!). This is still one of the few “very nice” spots in the Willamette Valley to have a reasonably priced meal!

Excellent food, friendly efficient service, good atmosphere. A perennial favorite, and it's great to see them back in the house after the fire of a couple years ago. The wine list felt a little thin on choice but I totally understand this is probably a very common thing emerging from pandemic times - definitely not taking anything away from them on that.

A quaint, local, foodie restaurant located in an old house in Newberg, OR. Good wine selection and other specialty drink menu. We really enjoyed the mixed greens salad and rolls, priced appropriately. For entrees we ordered the scallops and salmon dishes which were good, but not something I would need to order again, lacked a bit in the flavor profile for me. This restaurant was highly recommended for us as a local favorite. I'm glad we tried it. Very nice servers and atmosphere.

Italian restaurant
Rosmarino Osteria Italiana is a top choice in Newberg, offering traditional Italian trattoria dishes in a charming rustic dining setting. Chef Dario prepares authentic family recipes from northern Italy, creating a menu that includes prix fixe and à la carte options. This popular spot provides both indoor and outdoor seating, with reservations being essential due to its strong reputation for excellent food.
Elite food, great service, homemade gnocchi do I need to say more? They used great quality ingredients. Went for my 31st Bday and fell in love. Can’t wait to come back!!! One of the best meals in the PNW period. The house made smoke panchetta in my dish was amazing. My wife’s braised beef short ribs in her gnocchi melted in our mouths. It is a must eat restaurant.

Hubby and I came for our anniversary lunch and it was absolutely delightful! The menu changes slightly by the day and almost entirely by the month. Service was excellent - we were never left waiting - our dishes were served with great timing. Today was gnocchi for the main course and, oh my, does that gnocchi melt in your mouth! The flavors are delicious. The focaccia with the house branded olive oil and balsamic vinegar from Italy are to die for. All their pastas and sauces are made in house. I also really loved how the menu clearly indicated ingredients for those with dietary restrictions. Even better, housemade gluten free gnocchi was also available! Highly highly recommend this restaurant for a nice meal out!

Just spent an amazing hour having the absolute best traditional Italian food I have eaten since leaving the East coast and having family meals...or those that I have cooked myself. Chef Dario has his restaurant Rosmarino Osteria Italiana firing on all cyclinders. The food, by far, exceeded expectations. In English, my wife had the mushroom rissotto while I ordered the special, short rib raviloi, AND the lasagna. The lasagna is made with chef Dario's nona's bolognese. I want to say more about the food quality and its traditional qualities but frankly, no words will suffice. If you think you enjoy Italian and want to try REAL traditional Italian, make a reservation for Monday or Thursday night. If, like me, you enjoy a top shelf Chianti, try their house private label. Grown, made and bottled in Italy for the chef, it is magnificificant. My wife also had the beet salad. This consisted of cubed beets on a bed of truffle cream and topped with crumbled pistacios and micro greens. I am not a beet guy but this was the best I have ever had. Take my word when I say...top shelf. Happy birthday sweetheart. I hope you enjoyed it.

Incredible dinner in Oregon wine country.... This is a must try if you're anywhere near here. Our server Brandon was great and the entire staff was friendly/welcoming. Our meal started out withe the prosciutto and burrata salad which was so fresh. The table bread was also fantastic. The main course was vecchia modena gnocchi which was smoked guanciale with butter and cream to go along the a diavola pizza which was exceptional as well. The pizza crust was so light and a little chewy in a good way. Perfectly spicy. Dessert was the raspberry sorbet and the blueberry cheesecake which were both great ways to end the meal

Out of all of the restaurants I've tried in my decades of existence, it would be hard to single out any restaurant whose food was better than this. The pasta is truly handmade and fresh (not just claims made on a menu). Even the espresso martini was memorable. I had the Alla zozzona, and I wish I could describe how delicious it was. Our only complaint? Our party of two couples were traveling and celebrating anniversaries, and shared this when we made reservations, and when we arrived. But we were seated in the very back of a converted (think plywood hotbox) area behind the restaurant on a 95 degree day. If the food had even been a little bit more disappointing, we would have gotten up and walked out.

NEXT LEVEL! Just forget your alternative dinner plans---if you want Italian, THIS is the place! Rosmarino Osteria Italiana – A Transcendent Experience First Visit – Classic Italian Mastery. Forget your backup plans and make a reservation a few days agead of time—if Italian cuisine calls, Rosmarino Osteria Italiana is the answer. Having eaten my way through Boston’s North End countless times, I can say with conviction: I would happily dine here every day if I lived nearby. On our first visit, we experienced the depth of Chef-Owner Dario Pisoni’s artistry through a special risotto—creamy, perfectly balanced, and executed with quiet precision. The cinghiale (wild boar), slow-braised and tender, spoke of rustic Italian heritage elevated to fine dining. Service was warm yet seamless, and Dario’s intuitive wine pairings left no note unresolved. It was, simply put, transcendent. --- Second Visit – Oregon Winemaker’s Dinner. ($165/pp) Our return for the Oregon Winemaker’s Dinner Series was nothing short of a revelation. This five-course pairing menu, spotlighting Willamette Valley’s finest wines, revealed the restaurant’s brilliance in a new dimension. Chef Dario’s culinary imagination and genial, exuberant personality dazzled once again. Along with Sheena and their gracious staff, he doesn’t just serve food—he creates memories, welcoming every guest as family. The Blueberry Gorgonzola Gnocchi was tender, pillowy, and brilliantly balanced, while the multi-hour braised short rib over silken polenta was sheer poetry: decadent, soulful, unforgettable. With every pairing, Dario’s knowledge and wit shined, turning dinner into a performance. --- Verdict. Rosmarino Osteria Italiana doesn’t merely serve meals—it stages memories. Each visit has been a masterclass in cuisine, hospitality, and the joy of food and wine in harmony. On any scale, it deserves not just five stars, but ten. To miss it would be to deny yourself one of Oregon’s—and Italy’s—most transcendent tables. Saluté

Rogers Landing County Park is a picturesque park located along the Willamette River, offering easy boat access for activities such as boating, kayaking, and fishing. The park features picnic areas, walking trails, and clean facilities including portable restrooms. Visitors can enjoy watching boat races from the edge of the parking lot or launch their own boats to explore the river.
Not too busy on a Saturday evening in August. Place for swimming and launching kayak and canoe down by the East side of the parking. Ash island is pretty close. Takes less than an hour to get to the island with first time child paddlers. We ran out of sunlight so didn't go all the way around the island, just touched down on its closest end.

Beautiful section of the river where we watched the hydroplane boat races on memorial weekend. Plenty of parking and decent bathroom.

Great place if your looking to launch a boat on the Willamette River! Big parking lot, good slope on the ramp (and grooves are excellent for grip) dock could be slightly longer maybe. Seems quite busy come evening time in the summer! Good green space along river and an area to go down to water away from boat dock. So you can safely take a dip on a scorcher!

Ewing Young Park, situated in Newberg, Oregon, is a family-friendly park featuring expansive green spaces, picnic spots, and a playground. The park offers a one-mile walking and running trail along the riverbank, providing an opportunity to immerse in nature. Additionally, visitors can enjoy various activities such as disc golf, RC car racing, BMX riding, and skateboarding. The park also includes well-maintained dog areas for both large and small breeds.
Probably the best park for many miles around. It has one of the best walking and running trails you can get, considering it's in the middle of a town. It's one mile, packed with gorgeous, raw nature and half of it runs along a river. Going on that walk over lunch is a fantastic reset to the day. In addition, the park has disc golf, an RC Car track, a BMX track, a skate park, and a perfect dog park that is divided up for big dogs and small dogs. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but I can't think of a single superior park in Yamhill County in terms of variety and value to community. I heard that the park is expanding soon to across the river via a foot bridge, which I'm very excited about. The park has been providing immense value to all Newberg citizens for years, and investing more into it is just sound judgement. Looking forward to bringing my family and my pup Walter here for years to come. Edit: a couple things that could be improved would be a new playground, and perhaps an update to the parking lot / porta potty area.

Ewing Young Whiskey is truly something special. Smooth, rich, and full of character — it’s the kind of whiskey you want to savor. You can tell there’s real craftsmanship behind every bottle. Whether I’m enjoying it neat or sharing a glass with friends, it never disappoints. Definitely one of my favorite finds, and I love the local history and story behind the name. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates a quality pour!

I honestly live down the road and go there when I want to get out. I normally drive Radio Controlled cars there is a little dirt race track with some jumps and sharp turns always have a blast as well as go ok walks in the trails which have alot of fun and challenging crawling spots and the main part is on the creek so its fun and relaxing. I Drive my RC Crawers both areas and can handle 1/28th-1/10th RC Cars easily and the race track youcan run lipo battery or nitro as I've been down there with both. Honestly its not the best but it's definitely alot of fun and it's a pretty big park as well. But unfortunately it's missing some things like an actual bathroom (there's port-o-potty's) but the little things to me are what makes it worth it and it's Free.

My family and I love this park. I used to come to skatepark as a teen and even though I have not brought a board in years it still looks fun. The disc golf course is well maintained. The walking path is beautiful. The local school takes kindergarten through the path as a field trip and they love it too. The dog park can be hit and miss but we do bring our dog to the dog park on occasion.

Rain Dance Vineyards delivered one of the most memorable tastings we’ve ever had. Katie was so welcoming and knowledgeable—it felt like visiting family by the end. Matt, the GM, even came out to share stories about their locally sourced charcuterie board, which was delicious. My husband, who never eats olives, was shocked to find himself enjoying three of them thanks to their thoughtful pairings! The wines were fantastic, the atmosphere warm and genuine, and the handmade Christmas bell ornament we purchased was such a special keepsake. The only thing that could have topped it off would have been smooches from the adorable llamas. Tremendous job, Rain Dance team—thank you for going above and beyond. We look forward to enjoying every bottle we brought home!

We had a wonderful experience here. Sean did an excellent job of sharing about the wines and keeping us entertained. We really liked the wines and the variety offered, to the point that we brought several bottles home. Price is comparable to other wineries in the area but comes with bonus tastes in addition to the listed ones. We will definitely be back!

I attended my girlfriend's husband memorial gathering at this winery. It was the perfect afternoon, to spend time with her family and friends who came to enjoy memories of her husband. Beautiful grounds and location. Great wine and charcuterie fare for this event. Will definitely return for other enjoyable afternoons.

We enjoyed the location, live music, fire pit, and outdoor ambience. Didn't feel the tasting price is fair, but we aren't local and where we are from the tasting prices are far less than in Oregon. Wines were good. A bit too dry for our taste. Pricey. But nice. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

It was my first time visiting Rain Dance, and I came on a second date 😉 — what a perfect setting! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with breathtaking scenery that makes you want to linger. It’s the kind of place that truly enhances the company you're with. The wine was exceptional — you can genuinely taste the care and health-conscious practices that go into every bottle. A special shoutout to Kathy, our hostess — she was so welcoming and fun to chat with! Her energy added so much to the experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Made reservations a couple weeks in advance of our visit. Provided credit card to prepay for mom and sister and me. Got to tasting and Ron was our server. The wines we were offered were terrible. One of the worst tastings ever. All three of us choked down first two my sister dumped one and we were never offered dump bucket as if that’s insult. The third tasting I left in the glass and we waited so long in between. The clue is if someone is leaving essentially the full tasting in a glass they don’t want it. Ron was too busy with other people who obviously were big spenders. We were one of three groups and there were other people serving others too. No idea why we spent almost two hours there. My sister purchased a bottle out of pity. It was the best of the horrible. When she went to purchase Ron asked how the tastings needed to be charged and my sister said oh well my sister already paid and he said oh no we don’t charge the credit card. I thought that was unusual because everywhere else charged the cards when we booked ahead. Then on top of that the tastings were 5 dollars more a piece. There was no way we were each buying 3 bottle a piece to save on tasting fee. I even have the email stating 30 each not 35. The worst experience of our entire weekend. Oh and they had awful yellow jacket problem with them swarming.

Black Tie Tours offers a unique experience of foraging for truffles in the Oregon wilderness. Led by Stefan Czarnecki and his truffle dog, Ella, the two-hour hunting tour provides insight into the process of harvesting these luxurious food items. Additionally, Black Tie Wine Tours organizes private truffle hunts departing from Newberg, providing an opportunity to explore the region's truffle-filled experiences.
Black Tie Tours was the perfect way to experience Oregon's wine region. Ivan was our guide and was super great. We loved our day. Booking was easy and took away any stress. If we hadn't already figured out our gameplan, we would certainly trust their concierge service. What a wonderful day and would recommend them as a fun, stress free way to visit Willamette Valley.

The coolest experience with Stefan and his team of knowledgeable, thoughtful people. The food and wine pairing was amazing and the truffle dogs were adorable 😍 Highly recommend!!!
Bailey H — Google review
Had I known the Czarnecki family had this going, I would have been the first to book a tour! Because you just can't go wrong with ANYTHING this talented family (and their friends) do! (I'm looking at YOU Joel Palmer House). But we did manage to make it on one of the first Truffle Experience Packages which, quite simply put, was sublime. Teaming with the Allison Inn, Chef Eric Caballero of Paradiso in Salem Or, Furioso Winery, and being one of the leading Oregon truffle experts in the PNW (AND makers of the ONLY Oregon white truffle oil you should EVER buy), were just matches made in heaven. Starting with excellent accommodations (one of the loveliest hotels in the area) A multi-course truffle meal the first night of arrival prepared by Jory. A truffle dog foray demonstration, Furioso wine paired and chef Eric prepared lunch in a lovely intimate country setting, followed by another multi course, wine paired meal prepared by Chef Eric, hosted at Furioso winery with wine presented by the winemaker himself, made for a weekend of indulgence and decadence. The price accurately reflected all that was included and we look forward to seeing what this clever family and their friends/colleagues have up their sleeve for next year! As long time attendees of The Oregon Truffle Festival; the intimacy and quality of The Truffle Experience Package, curated in partnership with Black Tie Tours, Allison Inn, Caballero's Catering, and Furioso Winery, was unparalleled. Ian, our driver was delightful and incredibly knowledgeable. And sitting across from he and Stefan Czarnecki for dinner, hearing about their relationship to Chef Eric and the life of Black Tie Tours and getting to eat and talk with the wine makers at Furioso about their beautiful craft, truly was a treat. I will be heading to Salem soon, with foodie friends in tow, to see the beautiful Paradiso Restaurant and to sample more of Chef Eric's creations! And anxiously awaiting the arrival of NEXT year's Truffle season and watching email like a hawke starting in February, as to not miss this groups offering. Standing ovations to all who contributed to this weekends resounding success!

Ruddick/Wood is a popular rustic-chic bistro located in the downtown area, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant serves seasonal American fare made with locally-sourced ingredients, including dishes like chicken, pork, steak, and eggplant curry. The menu also features craft alcoholic drinks. Guests can enjoy a delightful outdoor dining experience with refreshing flavor combinations infused with wood smoke notes from the open flame grill.
A nice, laid-back dinner to top off wine tastings with friends! I got the Albacore Tuna while my BFF got the Pork Chop…absolutely AMAZING flavor and taste! The tuna was gently seared and the veggies enhanced this amazing flavor to perfection — not too much…not too little amounts of rice/veggies to complement this dish! The service took a bit longer than expected, as we were there for just over 2 hours (an hour of waiting for our dinner after placing our orders — and it wasn’t really busy during 6pm on a Tuesday evening). But the vibes and smells coming from the open kitchen made up for it! (Side note, I did inform an employee twice to refill the restroom with toilet paper but he never did — I would say the housekeeping there needs to be a bit more attentive — overall clean restrooms though.) I would be interested in tasting other dishes from the menu if I was back in town in the future!

10/15/17: 4.0 out of 5 - The standard hasn't changed. The food is still good and the service is friendly and attentive. Brunch was good but great with friends. HOWEVER... In a bit concerned about the bill having 5% tacked on for Health and Wellness, which I believe, is for the employee's Health Insurance. 02/19/17: 4.5 out of 5 - Ruddick/Wood was a first stop for food before my friends and I headed out for wine tasting. Firstly, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Great with explaining what is what and making suggestions. Secondly, the food was amazing! Every dish had a uniqueness about it. Portion size can be shared unless you are a power eater. And, lastly, the restaurant itself had a rustic modern look. It's clean and spacious. To my surprise, there is a bar in the back side where you will come across going to the bathroom. Overall, it was a great eating experience with friends. Definitely suggest, when in the area, trying out Ruddick/Wood once and decide for yourself. Enjoy!

Worth the trip. Went for a brunch because the Chicken and Biscuit was recommended. Happy to say I wasn't disappointed. Service was super friendly. Very nice atmosphere. Clean. Welcoming. The Eggs Benedict was great, the greens on it really helped the flavor profile. The Chicken and Biscuit was great, if not a tad salty. Hazelnut Biscuit made it a great combo together. Looking at the menu, there were other items I really want to try. The Pastrami Hash and the Deviled Eggs to be sure. We will be back.

We tried this place. Servers were nice but inexperienced. Our food took a while, ot was presentable but had no taste. Well, the stuff that didn't have red pepper flakes on it had no taste. Almost everything had red pepper flakes on it and was spicy. Even the fries and my kids couldn't eat them

(A pleasant change of Outdoor dining with no masks - although today was the first day the Communist Governor’s ridiculous “mandates” expired so that might have contributed) Delightful outdoor dining experience and wonderful menu selection. All of the foods had a refreshing complexity of flavor combinations due, in part, to the open flame grill and infused with wood smoke notes. Definitely try the fries and don’t overlook dessert. The apple bread pudding with caramel was stunning! Complaints: While their drink selection seemed well though, it was a disappointment they used table salt on our margarita. A “23% service & wellness fee” is added to every check. Sorry, if you can’t afford to pay your staff or your food isn’t good enough to draw a crowd, rethink your business plan. Disguising this as a “service and wellness” fee is a recipe for losing a repeat customer.

Despite occasional lines, the friendly staff ensures quick service.
This is the second time I have been to The Coffee Cottage, the first was simply to go thru the drive thru for coffee. This time we stopped in for a coffee and to soak in some rare sun on there huge outdoor patio area. What a great home feel coffee shop. I didn’t realize how large of a seating area there was, not how extended the outdoor patio and seating area are also. The biggest surprise, how many food options they offer with great service to match. The menu is massive, and offers a ton of different options. From the drink menu with shakes, smoothies, coffees and specialty drinks…to the food menu having snack breakfast options like muffins and burritos. We enjoyed our time today, sitting in the sun outdoors under the trees, and drinking a hot coffee with amazing flavor. They know how to make a coffee shop feel.

The coffee cottage is a very nice local coffee shop that everyone in the area should go and check out! Very good customer service and good coffee. People typically see a line when entering and get fairly discouraged thinking it's busy, but I can assure you the line moves fast and the employees work hard! I had the "ol st. Nick" peppermint white chocolate mocha, it was delicious! I also had the French turkey sandwich which was very good and came with complimentary chips and side of a pickle! Highly recommend for anyone in the area, it has a very home like feel to it!

The Coffee Cottage is your typical coffee shop in a college town. Very relaxed vibe inside with loads of caffeinated options to choose from. They also have a nice menu for breakfast and lunch options as well. The cottage is located in a former house on the corner. The employees are friendly and quick to take your order. This was my first visit and the food came out in a timely manner however I was told sometimes they can be slow. I ordered the grilled cottage roaster and it was delicious. I enjoyed the roast beef, spinach, and garlic aioli combo. The flavors really complimented one another nicely. The bread was also very tasty. Pricing seems average for the area and I would return.

What a lovely place for coffee! It’s spacious with lots of nooks, kind of like a community living room. Wonderful outdoor garden seating. Highly recommended
John R — Google review
Great in house roasted coffee, teas and smoothies to go along with some yummy pastries and gluten free treats. If you want something more substantial they have a nice sandwich/wrap selection. Several vegetarian selections as well. Freshly roasted bulk coffee beans are available as well.
Sanjeev L — Google review
A great little cafe right off of the highway. I only stopped here to kill time, but I would love to come back here. They have a decent selection of books to choose from, just to complete the cozy cafe vibe. Entering the cafe I expected to get a simple cappuccino, but looking at the large selection of flavored mochaccinos I ordered the "Grasshopper Mochaccino" and the "Viva a la Veggie" in a wrap. The food was excellent and served promptly on a. Little plate with chips and a pickle. During this time I admired the architecture and enjoyed a podcast next to a window which displayed the highway. My drink was placed on the counter up front and my name was called. The waiting time was so low I hadn't anticipated the drink, I was still left to my thoughts. This has to be one of the best mochaccinos I've ever had. Not too hot, great amount of foam, not far from what I expected but just the right amount of surprise. If you ever find yourself looking for coffee in Newberg, check out this little place. They have a drive thru and they're privately owned, so support a local business.

Super impressed with this cute place - the employees were so friendly and the food made fresh tasted hearty and homegrown. Definitely one of my top 5 coffee spots.

The service was fast, the food was tasty. Everyone was kind and extremely respectful of sanitation and social distancing. The space was adorable! I couldn't have picked a better morning spot to start our anniversary vacation. Featured: Iced MD Snickers with coconut milk and dark chocolate. Earl Grey Tea, Two signature breakfast wraps and salsa (meat and veggie) and a red, white & blue scone.

Rex Hill is a renowned winery located in the Yamhill Valley, Oregon. As you drive down the steep Rex Hill outside of Newberg on Route 99W, you leave behind the hustle and bustle of Portland and its suburbs, entering a delightful semi-rural area.
Being limited to 5 stars feels like an injustice. We celebrated our anniversary here last weekend, and it was nothing short of an incredible experience. We booked the Somm’s Table, and it was clear that every dish had been meticulously crafted to create something truly special. Each course was vastly different from the last, yet each one paired perfectly with their wines. To make the evening even more memorable, the chef personally came out a few times to serve us and share the inspiration behind the flavor profiles of each dish. Our server was an absolute joy — witty, attentive, and genuinely passionate, adding an extra layer of bliss to our experience. We will most definitely be returning!

It was my husband's birthday, and we came here to experience the Somm's Table offering. The food and wine pairings were fantastic, and the service was excellent. We had a great time, Jeff and Chef Billy took excellent care of us and had an answer to all of our wine questions!
Mina P — Google review
We loved the variety of seating, both inside and out, and the spectacular view. The wines we sampled were as good as any we sampled while in Oregon. And hands down, we had the most knowledgeable sommelier we encountered, and he explained things so well. He shared his experience and background, which explained how he knew so much about temperatures, soil, drought, etc., and how it affected the end result.

Rex Hill Winery was an absolutely wonderful wine tasting experience! The setting is gorgeous, and the wines were outstanding—we enjoyed a flight of five, each one unique and delicious. What truly made the experience unforgettable was Zoe. She is passionate, knowledgeable, and has such a gift for explaining the wines in a way that is engaging and approachable. Her warmth and expertise elevated the entire visit and made it so special. We left not only with a bottle of wine, but also with a deeper appreciation for them thanks to Zoe’s care. Highly recommend Rex Hill Winery, especially if you’re lucky enough to be guided by Zoe!

The grounds are beautiful! Jake was an amazing host for our seated tasting and the wines were all excellent! Would definitely recommend stopping in!

My husband and I were visiting Oregon for our Anniversary. We decided to visit Rex Hill winery. We did not have an appointment but were greeted and taken care of by Joan. They have outstanding wine and customer service. Their setting and landscaping is beautiful. I loved all the humming birds while sipping my wine. It was a relaxing experience. I would highly recommend visiting.

We will be canceling our 13 year contract today. What has been a fun experience had devolved into a caste system. This years summer celebration was sub-par. VIP sections in the newly renovated areas, (there are 3 tiers, only the top tier were invited inside and had access to things like tables AND chairs, AC, and running water, see photo) the bottom two tiers were in a 30 minute line for TASTELESS, unsalted food. Nothing like previous events. Lawn chairs and stemmed wine glasses are pretty much a joke, blankets are worse. But that wasn’t the real issue. I don’t know of any winery who would make your 61 year old husband carry his own case of wine from the event. See photo. I refuse to spend 13 years in a relationship being told for 12 years that we’re “building something together” for this…

With some friends in town from Central Oregon and the East Coast, four of us enjoyed a beautiful day of wine tasting, which included visiting Rex Hill. It was my first time at the tasting room, which included beautiful views and amazing wine. As a bonus, Garin took great care of us and answered all of our questions. I know I'll definitely be coming back again. Having such a previous great experience, I came back with additional friends to visit the gorgeous tasting room and enjoy the wonderful wine. A shout out to the amazing service from Tina, Joan and Garin.

The winery is known for its critically acclaimed pinot noir line and dry-farmed organic grapes from their own Nicholas Vineyard. Anam Cara Cellars is the ideal first stop on your tour through wine country or the perfect place to cap off your day when heading back to Portland. (Or anytime in between, of course!) Sheila and Nick Nicholas provide a unique collection of Oregon Pinots and other locally grown varietals from their vineyard just five miles away from the heart of Newberg. The tasting room is a welcoming and comfortable experience or you can enjoy your tasting experience outside in the fresh Oregon air! You truly won't be disappointed with your visit!

Drive-in movie theater
The 99W Drive-in Theatre is a classic drive-in movie experience that has been attracting larger car counts since 1994. This nostalgic spot offers double features shown on a digital projector, creating the perfect setting for fans of rom coms or anyone looking to relive the old-school charm of drive-in theaters. The snack bar serves up delicious food, including footlong hotdogs and popcorn, adding to the overall experience.
Last year on a trip to Florida with Trips Inc. (a travel company where I chaperone adults with special needs) I met a traveler named Jim. Come to find out we live near each other and we both love watching movies. We got to talking and somehow drive-in theaters came up and I mentioned how I had been meaning to go for years. He knew the exact times they open among many other details, more than even you’d find on the website. He and I met during winter, but they didn’t open until spring. He consistently checked in with me about times and dates, sometimes multiple times a day. He also wanted to get Abby’s pizza beforehand, according to him the best pizza in town. So we did all of that, and I think we both had a lot of fun. I accidentally scheduled this on Mother’s Day which was probably not the ideal celebration for my girlfriend but she was a good sport about it. Beforehand he implied to me multiple times that I could take a photo of him at the drive-in. So of course I was gonna take him up on that.
Scott W — Google review
I love this place, one of the last drive-ins around, complete with snack bar. I usually go when they are playing an old movie I love, but they play new ones, too. Recently I went to a huge horror market there with craft and VHS vendors, and then killed some time at the river, and came back for Dracula and Fright Night. Some tips: There are some thrift stores and such in Newberg if you want something to do before the movie starts. Just don’t buy a ticket (available at the entrance) until you’re ready to stay put at the drive-in, as there is no free readmission if you leave. Also, please don’t run your car continuously during the movie, block the view of others, or otherwise be inconsiderate. Please drive very carefully and slowly in there. It’s like a big parking lot with mounds to park on. You might want to bring a blanket, because even in summer, it can get chilly at night. The audio plays over the radio and also on speakers. It sounded really good. You can bring lawn chairs to sit behind your car if you want and whatever you like to be comfortable while you watch. If you have a very, very tall vehicle, you might not be able to get through the entrance (but you’d block people’s view anyway unless you park in the back row). This is a special, fun place for serious movie lovers and everyone there works so hard to make it a nice time and keep this historical time capsule going. It’s so important to support it. And FUN!
A. K — Google review
As a movie-lover, this was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. You can tell how much passion they have for film and they insist on offering a high quality, classically nostalgic movie-going experience. Sound was great, as was the projection and the bonus pre-show, intermission, and closing commentary from the announcer. The concession stand had all your favorite movie offerings like nachos, popcorn, sodas and hotdogs. Can't wait to go back to see new and classic offerings, and we'll definitely make another trip out to Willamette just to come back here!

Best place to take in a movie. I especially love when they double feature a new blockbuster with a complementary classic. It lets me feel like I'm both keeping up with the now and embracing the best of yesteryear.
Alexis L — Google review
Had a blast here watching the original Jaws and Jurassic Park. The staff are always friendly, the concessions reasonably priced and tge picture and sound quality are great for a drive-in. Its just a fun thing to do even if we have to drive an hour each way.
Pranavanathan Y — Google review
Have gone multiple times this year especially for horror thursdays and love it everytime. But for the love of god please know how to operate your car BEFORE you arrive, learn how to turn off your lights and if your radio doesn't stay on long bring a portable one with extra batteries, and jumper cables, you might have to jump the person next to you like i did. Only grievance was on 9/27 someone had their headlights on for 75% of the first movie (even after another patron told them how to turn them off 🙄).

Little Lavender Shop is a charming store located on College Street in downtown Newberg, offering a wide range of lavender products. The shop is known for its delightful aroma and extensive selection of items, including essential oils, bouquets, and flower crowns. Visitors rave about the high-quality products made from locally grown lavender at Little Lavender Farm. The farm itself is situated on a 2.
Little Lavender Farm products are wonderful! I use just about every product they have from hand soap to tea. The salve works wonders on dry skin and I never leave home without their lavender lemon chapstick. I love buying products that are handmade from organic locally grown lavender. If you have the opportunity to check out their farm in person...do it! The owners are the best and the grounds are beautiful. They just opened up a loft they are renting out which will make the perfect getaway in Oregon wine county.

I absolutely love this little shop - the owner and her staff are incredibly welcoming - to everyone - and so helpful when it comes to choosing perfect gifts. I recently bought the lavender eye mask for my sister and she's obsessed! And the shower steamers are just amazing! I kept those for myself ;) I also use their culinary lavender in the dreamiest drinks and syrups. A gem in Newberg!

My wife loves Lavender. We went in here to get a few things and were blown away by the gentleman's kind demeanor and wonderful customer service. If I could give this cute little shop 6/5 stars, then I would. Thank you for making my day off something special.

I love to support local and small businesses, and so when I found Little Lavender Farm and their shop, I was so excited they make the loveliest lavender gift bags, which were perfect for girls brunch I’m hosting. To stick to the lavender theme, I bought a bunch of their dried lavender bundles for centerpieces. And to boot!, they are the loveliest people! Finding the Little Lavender shop was such a win! I will be keeping them as a gift go-to!

Truly and honestly one of my favourite shops in Oregon. I live in Canada, but routinely make trips down the west coast and always make a point of stopping in and picking a few things up. The owner is exceptionally kind, and even assisted me in figuring out international shipping so I could ship her products to my Mother-in-Law. This shops soaps and hydrosol especially have become mainstays not just in my home, but in the homes of my parents and siblings. Really cannot recommend this place enough, whether you’re in the area or shopping online.

Delicious! Everything tasted as if I made it at home with quality ingredients not greasy at all. Burger was cooked just how I like it medium rare and juicy! Strawberry tasted like real strawberry not junk. Tots tasted like real potatoes not mush. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an old fashioned type burger joint 🍔🍦

The best part of this place was that it was run by all women and inexpensive! Suggest if you order grilled cheese to ask for more cheese. Burger was good. Suggest not ordering salad, pretty basic, but the ranch dressing was good. Small place with parking and ice cream.

This place is a hidden gem! Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere, amazing service, kind and respectful! This place feels like it is straight out of the 50's, so much so I wanted to immerse myself in the whole experience while I was there. This place reminds me of a burger place I grew up around. So thankful I found this place that reminds me of my childhood. Amazing amazing amazing! It's a must stop for anyone traveling, though! Yes, the food will take a little bit to get to you, that's because it's fresh meat, everything was fresh! Best burger place I have been at in a long time!

The prices are reasonable and the burger actually taste like meat. I will say the inside is a little dated The AC was a bit high and the bathroom needed to be tidied up. However, I will be back in the future and lool forward to trying different menu items.

Iconic Newberg dining experience. Don't come here with your pretension and big city values. This place is for families, friends and community. Be prepared to wait for you food without complaint, and be patient with the staff which is almost exclusively local youths. Food is affordable and delicious.

I go here often, one of the last places that carries impossible/beyond meat and can substitute for any burger. The milkshakes and ice cream is incredible, a very popular local spot indeed. Always a 5/5, however it is small (to be expected given how old it is) so a dinner rush can leave you waiting for a little bit for your food, but don't worry, it's worth it. If you're looking for an old fashioned diner with American eats, this is the spot.

Longplay Wine offers an incredible wine tasting experience in a picturesque setting. The winery, located closer to downtown, provides earthy pours and elegant single-vineyard bottlings. The owner and winemaker, Todd, ensures a personalized and private tasting experience for guests at a reasonable fee of $15, including a complimentary cheese plate. Longplay's selection of wines is diverse and reasonably priced, with the Pinots standing out as particularly delightful.
This was such a great and relaxing experience. Great wines at really reasonable price points and some older vintages that should have been a library collection but were poured standard instead! An incredible collection of vinyl records that could be requested to play and enhance your vibe. Side note: one of the bottles I took home had a cork failure and not only was it replaced, the owner opened a bottle not on the tasting menu to share. Highly recommended stop during your visit to wine country. Cheers

Wow! What an incredible experience. We were hosted by Todd, the owner and winemaker. We were the only guests there (which is too bad because this place is great) which made it feel like a private tasting. The tasting fee is a reasonable $15 and we were given a complimentary cheese plate. The wines are all at great price points. Collectively, our party bought almost a case of wine. Don't let the industrial building fool you, this is a great find. Love the small winery vibe where you can talk to the people who actually make the wine, not just the tasting room staff. Can not recommend this winery enough. We will be back!

For a unique wine tasting experience in downtown Newberg, consider visiting Et Fille Wines. This boutique winery, located on First Street, offers a range of exquisite Oregon Pinot Noir, Rose, and Sparkling Wines that truly capture the essence of the region. Led by owner/winemaker Jessica, they provide an authentic and elegant selection that showcases the terroir.
Lovely little tasting room in Newberg downtown area. Emma was so knowledgeable. I was excited to learn they are certified B Corp and woman owned. They don't have food but you're welcome to bring some in. There is a cheese shop about a block down to make it easy. Look forward to stopping in again.

My friends and I happened to stay in a rental across the street from Et Fille's tasting room and we were so delighted to stumble in after being in town a total of 5 minutes. We immediately connected with Emma who warmly welcomed us to the region and even though it was closing time for her, she stayed a bit longer to give us some really solid recommendations of other places to visit. We returned at the end of our weekend and couldn't have had a better tasting experience. We ended up ordering some bottles and they were shipped to my home in CA. They arrived very quickly after I returned home. It was really refreshing to find a winery that is run by empathetic women who care so much about the (impeccable!) wine and their community and we felt like we were a part of the family. We miss you already, Emma!

If you're looking for a boutique wine tasting experience closer-in to town, definitely stop by Et Fille Wines. Their tasting room is on the main street (First Street) in downtown Newberg, just a couple of doors down from Rosmarino Osteria. Owner/winemaker Jessica creates beautiful, elegant Oregon Pinot Noir, Rosé, and Sparkling Wines that are all very true to the terroir. I love her wines, and am constantly inspired by her as a woman leader in the wine industry. Josh in the tasting room will take great care of you, and Kyle who manages the wine club is super friendly (and a great chef! He created the dishes we enjoyed at the last wine club pick-up!). All in all, you're in for a warm, welcoming, FUN wine tasting at Et Fille, with delicious, well-crafted Oregon wines to enjoy.

This is worth stopping at. It is right in downtown Newberg. They have multiple tasting options and we did the Sleuth option. It was so fun! The wines and service were great, so I left wanting to come back and do another kind of tasting.

Incredible winemaking with subtlety, flavor, nose and length for many different varietals. The pinot noirs are superb, especially the single vineyard sites, all small production wines. The Rose is outstanding and the recently tasted white rose from pinot noir verietals which have lighter skins is intriguing. The Viognier is clean, fruity and light in the mouth. And do not miss the bubbly which is really outstanding and refreshing. Bravo, Jessica. And these corks are better than Antinori and most Burgundy wines now. No fighting with the corkscrew.

We recommend this winery to everyone, and if you haven't yet been, make sure to add it to you list.

Delightful experience! They make you feel like a VIP. No need to be a wine snob, to be treated like a special guest. I highly recommend this winery. The Pinot Noir was my favorite but they have a really good variety. The welcome sparkling concept gives a nice touch to the whole experience.

This place is amazing and the brothers/owners Mac and Sid were amazing. They were so much fun/nice/personable and took their time explaining the wines and their vineyard. We went and did the full flight for our tasting and they included a couple that weren’t on the list as a bonus and we ordered a charcuterie board and they put it together quickly and was so good. This was a memorable experience for my daughter and myself. This was our favorite of the places we went to and will definitely be back. Recommend anyone to go and experience this wonderful place.🌻

Mac & Sid have created an incredible experience at King's North Winery. The wines are truly unmatched. I especially enjoy the GSM, but EVERYTHING they have is so damn good! The Syrah was a big hit with the guests we brought with us to taste the magic. Kings North has an impressive selection of bold wines unlike any other winery in the area. The tasting flight is very generous & curated to perfection. I also like how the brothers' mom makes and delivers the beautiful charcuterie boards. I'll be a loyal patron of this place for the fun family team that pours their hearts into the delicious wines they share. I also appreciate that they send you off with coffee & chocolate. PRO TIP: Go at sunset, the views are epic. Cheers!

This place is truly paradise! Mac and Syd are very welcoming and you can tell how much effort they have put into the establishment and the wine. This place is a must-go if you are in the area - in fact, it was so good that we went back twice! It made our trip to Oregon wine country totally worth it!

Beautiful setting with spectacular wines. Owned by a couple brothers, they really know how to make amazing Pinot noir from their estate. Their latest blends are a great representation of the grapes and soil and it amazing to taste the difference a few hundred yards can make. Great views of the valley and a very intimate experience as the wine makers talk you through how they make the wines
Alex M — Google review
2023 update: Their estate grown wines are really coming into their own! It was awesome to compare Pinots from two different blocks (though small, they have four distinct soil types in the vineyard). I was impressed by the generous and tasty charcuterie board! Among the friendliest winery staff I’ve encountered. Strongly recommend. ________________________ Outstanding small winery. Passionate about their small batch wines. In addition to excellent Pinot Noirs, they also produce really nice Nebbiolo, Tempranillo, and Cabernet Sauvignon. They both grow their own grapes and source others from some of the best area vineyards. Personalized tasting service by very knowledgeable staff.

Visitors can enjoy sipping on exquisite wines while admiring the vibrant crafts created by co-founder Kim Bellingar, which are also available for purchase. Additionally, guests have the option to stay in well-appointed bungalows on the property, providing easy access to the beautiful vineyards.
Our group had a wonderful time at Bellingar Estates! Evan thoroughly explained each wine in our tasting and answered our many questions about Oregon wine country. The experience felt very personal compared to some of the larger wineries in the area. I’d highly recommend supporting this family-owned business! 🍷

This winery is an absolute gem! Not only do they serve some of the best wines in the area, but the host Kelly and the owner Evan are welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their craft. What really sets this place apart is the laid-back, family-friendly vibe nested in a beautiful scenery. It’s rare to find a winery where kids are welcome and everyone can truly relax. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and unpretentious—making it a standout destination. A must-visit for wine lovers and families alike!

Bellingar Estates produces a wonderful selection of wine for tasting and purchase. I particularly enjoyed their estate Pinot and Red Blend. They have a beautiful new tasting room overlooking their vineyard that offers a relaxing place to sip wine indoors or outdoors. You'll also find a curated selection of locally produced crafts and other items available for purchase.

Wonderful boutique winery and tasting room in the Chehalem Mountains AVA & our host Kelly was fantastic! One of the owners happened to stop by for a while and we got to chat with her about her experience. This is a perfect spot to visit for an intimate experience!

Huge shout out to Kelly, was incredibly kind and very informative. This winery has the most charming stories and you can feel the character and care come through with each wine we tried. Amazing views!!

We stayed at the bungalows located on the property as well as went to their wine tasting and had an amazing time! The back door opens up to to the vineyards. A delicious bottle of wine was waiting for us in our bungalow as well. The bungalows have every amenity you could need. This family owned and operated winery is definitely worth a visit. The wine tasting was informational, personal, and with gorgeous scenes. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone going to the Newberg area. Thanks for a wonderful time Kim, Lily and family!!

We loved our visit to Bellingar Estates in 2021. The owners were so fun and kind to us and the Pinot Noir was so good that we regularly have a case shipped to us in Indiana. We can’t wait to make another trip to their beautiful vineyard and tasting room!

Our visit to Bellingar Estates was the highlight of the day. Evan Bellingar was our host, and we sampled some absolutely fantastic wines. He is quite the engaging vineyard owner - his deep knowledge of the industry as well as the pride of ownership clearly shows in his explanations of his wines. There was nothing we sampled that we wouldn’t pay top dollar for. We highly recommend a stop here. Our next visit to Oregon will include another stop here!

Chehalem Aquatic and Fitness Center, established in 1970, is a popular destination for lap swimming. The facility features an 8-lane pool with spacious lanes, clear water at the perfect temperature, and excellent lighting and sound. It offers something for every age group, making it ideal for family visits. Visitors can enjoy toddler time activities as well as yoga and strength classes. The center also boasts a competition pool and family changing rooms.
This is such a wonderful place for swimming lessons! The pool here is lovely. It's so well maintained and sparkling clean. It's really just immaculate and it's so pleasant to sit by the pool because there is enough ventilation in the room that there is no overwhelming smell, like most pools. Their swim lessons are wonderful! We've used at least a dozen different instructors over the years and only had one that we didn't like. All the others were good to great. They have attentive lifeguards and the pool is very orderly during lessons. I feel like it's a much safer environment than some pools I've seen, which can be overcrowded and chaotic. The locker rooms are also very clean and nice. I'm so glad we found this place! It's well worth the drive for quality swim lessons in a beautiful, safe and organized environment. I really can't recommend Chehalem highly enough!

Chehalem Glenn Golf Course in Oregon's wine country boasts a magnificent 18-hole golfing experience. This course spans an impressive distance of over 7,000 yards from the back tees. Golfers are provided with various tee boxes, enabling them to customize the level of difficulty they desire. The rates offered for this exceptional course are reasonable, and it promises a challenging round of golf amidst picturesque hills.
Wide open and challenging. This golf course has something for everyone weekends can be tough to get groups on but there's always availability during weekdays. Take a day off of work and enjoy some great golf without the congestion of portlands golf courses.
C O — Google review
Serene setting and well kept. Unrelenting hills and lots of forced carries made it slightly hard to enjoy as a high handicap player while walking. Next time I come here will probably rent a cart instead
Jamie L — Google review
The intent of this review is to hopefully shed some needed light on course conditions. The positives - Great staff, mostly great layout, well kept grounds and mostly well run course. Watered, landscaped etc. The negatives that are keeping me from coming back: #1 - The greens have been consistently rolling slower than grandma's shag carpet. This is not an exaggeration. I play all over the valley and I cannot think of slower greens except maybe The Children's Course and honestly even that place might be faster. #2 - Holes look like they've not been newly cut in months and range mats are brutal and could use an upgrade. I get they might trying to penny pinch, but charge $3 more a round and topdress and roll your greens for crying out loud. It's not expensive.
Brandon J — Google review
I played 18 holes today and yesterday here at Chehalem Glenn! This course was awesome. It is really fun to play. While it is an easier course, it has many challenges too. I always get friendly service from the Marshalls and from the desk workers. I definitely recommend this golf course!!!
Rellick — Google review
I've had my eye on this place for a year or two now, and finally got a round in here recently... Good layout, great value. Front 9 begins mostly back-to-back, then opened up a little out near some houses before you play the 9th back to the house. Back 9 starts over near the Putting Course and seemed a little more open than the front, although the entire course is plenty wide. Challenging, but not overly difficult. Between the driving range, putting & chipping areas and the Putting Course, there are plenty of fun, golf related activities here aside from playing a round. For a winter round it was a fairly dry track. Well maintained with fun greens; anything over 4' or so will have some slope in play on your read. Staff was helpful & friendly. I would definitely play here again.
Nick S — Google review
Very nice staff. Reasonable price. As tough a course as you want it to be. A good walk as well. Greens are true, but slow. They keep them long probably because of all the play.
Stuart B — Google review
As always, golf here is full of trials and tribulations. Lots of forced carries with woods and creeks. Some of my friends refuse to play here but I rather like it. The course is in good shape. What's missing is a restaurant and bar. If you want more than a hot dog and a beer, find somewhere else for your 19th hole.
Susan W — Google review
I live 50 minutes away. Since moving here in 2021, I have played here multiple times . The course is already in good shape. Excellent and challenging layout. To walk the course, you have to be a strong walker. I do wish the greens were faster. There is a huge difference between blue and white tees. Holes 10-12 especially.

A charming little bridge spans a serene stream, adding to the park's picturesque charm. For those looking to host gatherings, there are ample picnic areas equipped with tables and even a gazebo for shade.
This park is a solid spot for families! 🎾 It’s got something for everyone—playgrounds for different age groups, a sweet little bridge over a stream, and picnic areas perfect for parties. The tennis courts are in great shape, and the softball fields are solid too. There’s a covered basketball area and a gazebo with picnic tables for chilling out. That said, the paths and concrete could use some TLC, and the grass looks a bit neglected, giving it a slightly worn vibe. Still, it’s a fun place to hang out, and the playground is a hit with kids. Definitely worth checking out for a laid-back day!
Christopher M — Google review
An OK softball park, since the facilities are a little bit rundown, and there isn’t much shade inside the softball facility. The rest of the park is pretty nice, with walkways, going in and around park, connecting you to the local neighborhoods. It also has a nice shaded area, with a large covered community area where you can have your birthday, anniversary, softball, or whatever party. It also has a covered basketball area, which can get a little hot in the summer, but I am guessing it’s just fine in the fall and spring.

Been bringing my daughter here to play in softball tournaments for 4 years at this point. 4 fields at this location including concession stand with working men’s and women’s restrooms. Almost no shade in softball complex but the park/playground in entirety shaded. For softball tournaments bring your own chair and plenty of water and snacks for you softball player… a pop-up for some shade in your viewing area, and for your player’s dugout. Play ball!!!

Cameo Theatre is a historic single-screen cinema that has been operated by the same family since its establishment in 1934. It showcases the latest movie releases, typically screening two films simultaneously. The theater offers reclining seating with footrests and maintains strict opening and closing times as well as parking regulations. The ambiance exudes a vintage charm, featuring classic movie exhibits and old-time projectors on display.
The Cameo Theater runs a tight ship. Opening and closing times are strictly enforced. The no parking zone is also strictly enforced. The theater is very clean and neat. The feel is very historic and has a fancy old time feel to it. There are several exhibits of classic movies and an old-time projector or two on display. The seating is moderately comfortable. The climate control can be challenging at times. I recommend bringing a jacket. The lighting is very low. Be sure to watch your step as the guard rails seem to serve as more of a decoration. We watched Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The feeling of the theater added to the fun of watching the movies in my opinion.

A Newberg classic. Sure it's not super fancy, but it's full of history. Expect squeaky chairs, but you'll leave with great memories of those chairs. I try to take my kids whenever possible, and they absolutely love it. I just went to see the new Despicable Me 4 movie, and I could have driven further to Hillsboro or McMinnville, and end up paying more to see it on higher definition screen, maybe better sound, but the local charm and appeal of this little theater keeps us coming back. Friendly staff is nice too. Oh and upstairs you'll find an old projector on display, classic movie posters and some Newberg memorabilia. Fun!

Extremely disappointed ☹️ Evidently, it's the off season. Yet we were still charged $70 to reserve the covered area for a Celebration of life for a friend who had passed. (We did this a month ago)After voicing my unhappiness at the condition of the covered area. We were granted a full refund. But that still didn't help with fixing the problem. I had to move the tables myself. Not sure I'll ever reserve a covered area in any Park in Newberg again?!🤷🤬 This should not have happened. Even with the refund I feel taken advantage of. Nobody said anything about an off season. Just that it cost $70.

Busy park in the middle of old-town Newberg. There is a constant rotation of people, even with COVID. Many times with the playground full of kids and parents. There is one picnic table on the east side of the park that is in contant use throughout the day. Some cover it, some wipe it down. Thank you to those people. Be advised. Stay safe. The scout house was recently crushed by a split oak tree. They are out there daily looking for branches. Don't forget to look up 🙂

My kids declared this their new favorite park. They didn't want to leave. They loved the play structures and tire swing. My baby had so much fun on the large splash pad. The baby play structure has a cool feature where two kids can race a couple race cars on a track. The climbing thing seemed taller than any other park we've been to. Came here for the 2023 Park Passport. Really great somewhat hidden park. Definitely good for bigger kids. Would not bring the 3 year old here, but the 7 year old had a blast. Not much shade for those of us just here to observe, so rating 4⭐️ for that. Will definitely be back though.

Champoeg State Heritage Area, a former pioneer town, has been transformed into a diverse recreational destination. The park offers camping facilities including cabins and yurts, as well as pet-friendly hiking trails. Visitors can explore the museum to learn about the area's history and early pioneer life. The park features various activities such as Frisbee golf, fishing, and boating at the boat dock. With both wooded and open field camping sections available, guests can enjoy serene surroundings or panoramic views.
Love this place. Great camping, walking, bike riding, birding, and a playground for the kids near the campground. We come here often as we live nearby, but we love to camp here in our trailer too. They have educational displays in a few are about the history of the place and early pioneer life. The VC is nice with cute gift items for sale too. They also have several group picnic sites that must be reserved. Perfect for retirement parties or any other occasion.

Beautiful State Park and would highly recommend for RV camping. RV sites are spacious and level with full hookups. Beautiful park setting with trees and shrubs set up between sites for privacy. We will definitely return. Lots of paved walking trails.
Kathleen S — Google review
We stayed a couple of nights in the "B" Loop (sites B5 and B30) in our 25 foot class C. Both sites are right on the edge of the large dog exercise field and lush meadow. The sites in B are large and private feeling and the park is so peaceful. We used the electric and water hookups (no sewer available at the campsite but might be available near the office?) Super easy online reservation (we chose our site based in the camp map) and check-in process. The "A" loop is more woodsy and the sites are a little closer together, but "A" seems more active and kid-friendly. Lots of walking and biking trails. Tons of birds and ground squirrels to watch.
Katherine R — Google review
We bought a day pass and were happy with the service at the visitor centre. The washroom was clean. The park is lovely and lots of walking trails. We spent several hours reading and listening to the birds. On a hot day the temp is perfect in our hammocks in the shade. No river access is my only disappointment.
Nanaimo S — Google review
Fun spot for camping. Even though the park is open year round, they close a lot in the winter and only RV sites, yurts and cabins are available for winter camping. Summertime there’s more tent sites and some group tent sites as well. The group tent sites are closer to the river. There is a dock but many signs saying no swimming. The camp hosts are always super nice and helpful and fun to chat with. The rangers are great as well. 💜

Great place to camp. Spacious and private sites throughout the campground. Paved driveways. Many with full hookups available.

Great place for a picnic. Right on the Williamette River. Walking trails, dog run area, lots of flat open spaces, camping sites, covered banquet or party area all at what used to be the historic old town of Champoeg Oregon.
Dave W — Google review
This state park includes many actives: Frisbee golf course, fishing, hiking, boat dock and picnic areas. There are two camping sections within this park. One section is heavily wooded, and the other section in an open field. We found the section in the open field of the park to be our favorite with better views and most sites included sewer hookups. As you enter the park, a gift shop and museum are at the entrance. Our site was level. Only a few sites within the wooded area were able to a DirecTV satellite signal. Our Verizon phones got a weak 3G signal. Our family is currently traveling this beautiful country via RV style, and have been RV'ing for many years. Therefore, we have an idea between high-standard qualities and poor quality. We utilize Trip Advisor to assist us on locating top attractions, tasty restaurants and exciting locations within our wonderful country. Follow our adventure via Facebook; “Happy Campers 227”.

The snacks to pair with the wine were incredible and all homemade. Homemade Snickers?!? Yesssss! The tasting room features photos and memorabilia of the proprietor’s famous aunt who was an actress. If you’re in the region, put this winery on your must-do list!!

A great wine tasting experience at Natalie's! 4 different wines paired with a small bite to bring out the profile of each wine. A charming tasting room and friendly environment made it the perfect afternoon. Cheers!

The Big Reds Barrel & Wine Tasting was so enjoyable and Boyd was fantastic (engaging, friendly and knowledgeable)! I learned more about wine in the hour-or-so I was there than I ever have. The wines are more to my taste (bold, flavorful and striking) and stood out amongst any of the thin, pedestrian, unremarkable and terribly similar wines from any of the other 11 vineyards I visited during the course of my trip (head and shoulders above even some of the big, elite vineyards).
Jason W — Google review
My wife and I went to the winery a few weeks ago with my daughter and her husband and my ex-wife, as part of a larger tour of 4 wineries. The property was pretty. We were taken to the Montana tasting room which was quaint and gorgeous. We had a tasting of 4 wines with a pairing of food for each. The owners were incredibly down-to-earth, friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was AMAZING, especially the Pinot Rose! Boyd made some delicious smoked briquette and Cassandra made a wonderful Cabernet Chocolate Truffle ball. As a bonus, we got to hear the story of their Hollywood room which was quite interesting and very unexpected. Would highly recommend visiting and we will definitely be going back soon. A hidden gem of Oregon wine!

Either way would definitely give them 5 stars and highly recommend for others to visit

Googled “kid friendly wineries” and Adelsheim came up and we scored the jackpot! Our group had 3 kids under the age of 2. The staff were accommodating and welcoming. We had a great experience with our host Jacob, who educated us on the wines we tasted and answered all of our questions. We were able to let the kiddos crawl and run in the grassy area while enjoying the wine and the beautiful scenery. Our group couldn’t have had a better experience than our visit at Adelsheim! One of our favorite tasting experiences of the week we spent in Willamette! Small tasting as Dave only takes one group at a time, by appointment only. The wines were also great! Highly recommend, worth the visit!

We had a great afternoon in April at Domaine Divio. Miriah guided us through the tasting of a rosé, four Pinot Noir, and a Chardonnay. She explained the differences to us and was so kind and fun. Surprisingly, in Pinot Noir country we loved the Rosé and bought a bottle to take back to our hotel in Dundee. The winery location is so beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend!

I been to many wineries in Oregon and my first time to Domaine Divio. What an incredible experience!! I went for Pinot and paella night, staffs were so sweet and attentive and made me feel so welcome. Chef Christophe was so knowledgeable and very nice to share his secrets to the yummy paella he made. Owners sons Louie and Gabriel shared their life experiences with me including travel wine making, mechanical engineering ( Thank you for taking the time to talk to me). Winery is so beautiful and everyone must visit at least once. Thanks so much to all the people I mentioned above to made my evening a magical.

Domaine Divio is a relative newcomer in this part of the valley amongst some well established older wineries, but don't pass it by. Decided to try a new winery on our latest trip out for our club pickups, and when we learned that Bruno is the vineyard manager for some of our favorite wineries we wanted to sample his winemaking. Wow, what a great place! The Pinot Noirs were on par with some of the best in Yamhill-Carlton, and I was most impressed with the Chardonnay. They also produce a Pinot-Gamay blend which is really nice, similar to a Beaujolais only better.
John D — Google review
Domaine Divio absolutely blew us away! The ambiance is stunning—think a cozy fireplace crackling indoors and a beautifully heated outdoor space that makes you want to linger for hours. The vibe is classy yet completely approachable, and the wines are truly outstanding. Their reds are richer and bolder than many Willamette Valley pinots, and the Passetoutgrain was the star of the tasting for me—an absolute must-try! The hospitality here is just as impressive as the wine. Jacob welcomed us with such warmth that we felt at home right away. And Mariah was phenomenal—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely excited to share the wines with us. She even poured extra tastings of bottles we were curious about, which made the experience feel so personalized. Domaine Divio is a standout winery that delivers elegance, comfort, and incredible wine. We can’t wait to come back!

Domaine Divio was one of many wineries on our trek in Oregon. This winery stood out for so many reasons; the location, the scenery, the hospitality, and of course the wine was exceptional. Jacob welcomed us with open arms and a warm personality that made us feel right at home in a far away land. Every pour Jacob served us was accompanied by rich history of the wine. They know their wine, and it shows. Don't miss out on this lovely family-owned winery.

Mediocre wines. Small pours. The wine specialist was great though!

We had an incredible time at this gorgeous winery today! Andrew helped us and was very knowledgeable and fun! We had a great time. The vineyard was beautiful and had plenty to do. Bocce and bags outside the tasting room plus comfy barrel chairs to sit and enjoy the view. We loved it and if we make it back to Oregon, Utopia is number one on our list!

Don't let looks and the dirt road deceive you, this winery is well worth the stop. Andrew hosted our tasting and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about each of the wines that we tried. Every wine we tasted was incredible and the views and environment were exceptional. Don't miss out, check it out.

Beaux Frères offers a delightful wine tasting experience that can be easily arranged through their website. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by knowledgeable and friendly staff who guide them through a selection of rare, single vineyard bottlings and older vintages in a warm and inviting setting. The winery's owner, Michael Etzel, is known for personally welcoming visitors during special events like the 'Not-So-Open House,' providing an extra touch of hospitality.
Stellar OG winery.. we tasted at sequitur since their tasting room was under construction, but the experience wasn’t diminished. Amazing expressions of the vineyard and wonderful flavor profiles with the explanation to go along. Can’t wait to try again in the new building! Peter was a fantastic guide and knew so much about the vineyard and history of the family.

Wonderful experience! We had a reservation for 6 and were seated at a table outside, which was absolutely wonderful. The guide for our tasting was excellent and the wines were top notch. We joined the wine club and are very excited for our first shipment. We also enjoyed our interactions with the cat and dog on the premises.

Easily my favorite tasting in the valley of all time. The wine knowledge shared by all of the staff here is unmatched. We learned so much about the process and truly enjoyed their incredible wines.
Nathan H — Google review
Wine tasting in Oregon. If you love Pinot Noirs do a tasting here. Came to town for a tasting menu in McMinnville and decided to check out this winery that is always making the Wine Enthusiast lists. There is a beautiful tabby lounging in the sunlight, three pears sitting on the high table outside the tasting room door, a glorious tree breathing the air and casting shade for the tasting table below it, and inside: a wine library of the more exclusive vintages, as well as some amazing music being played in the back room where vats and casks were incubating the next vintages (think Blue Monday from Upstairs at Eric’s). We like our wines, so we appreciated comments on the terroire and the small local vineyards that the grapes were sourced from. For my part, I was partial to the Stardust, the classic Beaux Frères and fascinated by the 2014 Gran Moraine Pinot Noir — it smelled wonderfully earthy like umami. I swear there was not a bottle the girlfriends did not like… And to prove the point they went home with seven bottles between them. Each bottle was approximately $90 on the lower end and $140 on the higher end. But those were just our selections. Alternatively, you can pay $55 for the tasting but at that price point why not just get a bottle of some amazing wine. One of the things we learned while we were there is that the luxury brand Artemis has bought the winery. It’s a testament to the quality of their product. But the news was also a disappointment bc as with many in the Pacific Northwest: we love the importance of the local independent wine maker. But survival of the fittest is a real thing so we raised glasses high to Beaux Frères and wished them the very best.

We’ve been here a week and have had many tastings, Beaux Freres was one of our favorites. Wines were all delicious in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

I usually bring my guests here and everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable. My guests love their experience. Oh yes! Their expressive, elegant, and age-worthy wines are amazing too. But you knew that already 😀🍷🍷

Trisaetum Winery is a must-visit in Oregon wine country, offering a wide variety of delightful wines including sparkling, whites, rosé, and an impressive range of reds. The tasting room is adorned with fantastic art and provides a relaxed vibe tucked into the vineyard. Visitors rave about the stellar views and huge patio. The staff members are highly praised for their knowledge and friendliness, ensuring a great experience for all guests.
Haven't had a winery visit this good in years! Now a top 3 next to Honig (Napa) and a secret in Italy I won't share. Ambiance on point - chill, quiet, unpretentious Hostess, Jasmine, was so kind and perfectly entertaining. Charcuterie board was easy, tasty, wonderful. THE WINE - I now think Willamette's best Pinot. We tried 4 Pinots and loved them all. 2 other surprises on the tasting menu that we adored Just go! And thank you, Jasmine!!

Another Oregon winery with a beautiful view, but the people here make the difference. I brought my family here and I can’t remember who helped us, but she made us feel like we were part of her family. Relaxed vibe, good wine, and good views
Heather F — Google review
We enjoy the wine but visiting in person is not recommended. The service and demeanor of the staff is unlike anything experienced at any winery in the region. The hostess/manager was very rude last year. We purchased a couple of wines quickly, even though they were rude, and took them home. We enjoyed the wine and returned this year thinking it was just a bad day for them last year, but again this year the hostess/manger made a point of jumping to attention when we came in and was very rude. We visit many high end and smaller vineyards and wineries and purchase wines for our cellar. I cannot recommend a visit here.

Lovely setting and good wines. We got to talk to Andrea, the owner, which made the whole experience that much more interesting. Didn’t join the club but recommend a visit here.

This winery includes a large shaded patio with a calming beautiful view. I enjoyed the wine tasting as the flights have an interesting range of tasty tones including a sparkling pinot! Would recommend!

The perfect winery for any season. Charming staff and the flights were all solid. We shared a sparkling, white and red with a delicious charcuterie plate. Can't wait to go back.

We went on vacation through Oregon's wine country and we made a reservation here and was not disappointed. The staff was very knowledgeable about the wines we tasted. Nick made us feel welcomed and taken care of. I hope to visit again one day.

Always amazing. Beautiful views, stunning artwork, elegant wines, fantastic staff! Jasmine and team never disappoint. I originally joined for their Riesling selection, but have since changed my membership to include the Pinot and bolder Washington varietals. You simply cannot go wrong!

Colene Clemens Vineyards is a stunning winery nestled in the Chehalem Mountains, offering an outstanding wine tasting experience. The owners, with their last name matching the vineyard's name, have created a fantastic selection of wines named after family members. The Rose, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir are particularly noteworthy and worth purchasing. Steve Goff, the former assistant winemaker at Beaux Freres, leads this impressive winery known for its excellent Pinot Noirs.
Beautiful scenery and knowledgeable staff that will walk you through a memorable experience of wine tasting. Highly recommend

Beautiful scenery. I didn't like any of the wines we sampled, but their charcuterie board was delicious.

Beautiful winery, wonderful hospitality, knowledgeable, kind manager who is generous with her wisdom. The rose really stands out for being crisp, floral and dry. The pinot noirs were great too. Perfect snack board.
Jenna M — Google review
Stunning view from a large patio on top of a large, beautiful patio. Went here as part of a wine tour and this winery was the most prestige. Since wines were so personal and named after women in the family, it felt like a shared experience.
Shelby D — Google review
Nice relaxing outdoor patio and view but I really didn’t enjoy any of the wines.

Superb staff, tasting (the chardonnay on a summer afternoon was light and crisp), and million dollar view!!
Desiree C — Google review
Steve Goff, former assistant winemaker at Beaux Frères, has been at the helm since the first vines were planted back in 2005. Nestled in the shadow of Bald Peak in the Chehalem Mountains, Colene Clemens is one of the most impressive wineries in the Willamette Valley. A selection of a handful of Pinot Noirs is complemented by a lovely Chardonnay and rosé that is often the very best you can find in Oregon. Five different Pinot Noir clones have been planted between an elevation 350-650 feet in an area where the Chehalem Mountains AVA converges with the Ribbon Ridge AVA; in turn, the wines from this estate possess a level of complexity typically not found in such young vines. Steve and the staff are quite welcoming and the views—particularly on a clear day—are second to none. So grab lunch and head up to Colene Clemens Vineyards! A/A+
David H — Google review
Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories. My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.

Patricia Green Cellars, located in Willamette Valley, offers a favorite tasting experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The vineyard tour led by Carolyn provides insights into the family story of Patricia Green and includes comparative tastings between vintages and soil types for the same varietal clones. The beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, along with adorable winery dogs, create a quiet and intimate setting for wine tasting. The winery is upgrading its outdoor space to accommodate more visitors.
Been fans of this winery in Willamette Valley for 20 years. The new(ish) tasting room, terrace and fire pits add to the experience. Large variety of bottling from single vineyards all reflecting the unique qualities of the micro climates and soil. General tastings as well as special events are always well done - wine, food, hospitality

Quaint, unpretentious, welcoming, delicious. Wasn't expecting to be wowed, but after visiting some of the larger establishments in the area, this place ended up being the best of all worlds. The wine we had was superb, the setting was quiet and had a rustic charm, and the service was unbeatable. Definitely recommend a visit on your tour.

My wife and I wrapped up our tour at Patricia Green and absolutely fell in love with their gardens, history and approach to their tasting. Super chill and relaxing atmosphere. End your day here, enjoy the garden and the view from the deck

We did both Willamette and Walla Walla on this trip. This was our first stop, and it was the most intimate with the most knowledge. The complimentary cheese plate was appreciated. We bought some pinot noir to have shipped home. The tasting fees were waived.

Had a fantastic tasting at Patricia Green Cellars! The wines were exceptional — beautifully made and full of character. Huge shoutout to Tekla, who was incredibly knowledgeable, sweet, and passionate about the wines. She made the experience both fun and educational. A must-visit in the Willamette Valley!
Rhea W — Google review
Beautiful location (both indoors and outdoors), quiet and intimate and very knowledgeable staff (plus adorable winery dogs!) They were also upgrading the outdoor space for more events and ability to accommodate more folks which I appreciated. We had an amazing tasting experience just myself and my husband tucked away in the shade with a fire and a blanket, we got history of the winery and had a great time chatting with their staff. Just be sure to give yourself at least 60-90 minutes to thoroughly enjoy everything and book well in advance and you'll have a great time. Wines themselves were fantastic (we loved them so much we shipped home a case!) It's a small producer so you're going to get a more one on one experience compared to the Domaine places. 10/10 recommend and can't wait to go back!
