Bart’s Books is one of our favorite places to visit. There’s something special about browsing books in the open air, surrounded by the charm of the space. The books are a bit on the pricey side, but the experience is always worth it. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and we enjoy the sense of community here. It’s such a nice way to spend time together.

What a cool concept. Still can't believe it doesn't rain enough to ruin the books. The selection is pretty large but it's easy to find what you're looking for. Very pretty book store, too.

Great used bookstore with a picturesque view from the front. They have a great variety of books ranging from nonfiction, to architectural and art books for your coffee table. Highly recommend for the bookworms out there. I didnt find anything for me but I'm sure someone will find something interesting, even if its just a picture.

This place is awesome! They have a wide range of books, super helpful stuff and many options to sit down and read a little. They have old and new books for more than fair prizes and also some first editions (some are even signed). I got a first edition of Anderson's Fairy Tales

I love this bookstore! My favorite part of Ojai. They have shelves with books on all walls of the house. Great oldies and collectibles plus modern books. Check them out!

Beautiful outdoor bookstore, and not full of ahem certain agenda -driven books There were books of all genres and I especially enjoyed the books from the 80s No Public restrooms

Ojai Rotie’s rotie chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The half portion was more than enough for one person — really filling. I was looking for something healthy and high in protein since I’m on a diet, and this grilled chicken was such a great choice. We also tried the white bean hummus, which was creamy, nutty, and had a slightly tangy flavor. It came with warm grilled Lebanese bread that paired perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic, and the Halloween decorations added a lovely orange-toned charm to the space. If you’re looking for something delicious and unique in Ojai, I’d definitely recommend this place.

Food was delicious! Highly recommend their dips and sourdough bread for a delicious meal. Outdoor dining - amazing for a casual or fancy outing. Great to go in a bigger group to split all the menu options in a more buffet style.

Are we in Spain or Ojai?! I love the outdoor seating. From the nourishing, clean, simple meals to the ambiance of the garden patio, Ojai Rotie has it all! This is my wife’s and my go-to spot for an amazing whole chicken dish. The plate with two sides is an incredible deal—we split it all the time! We love the local wine selection, and the Dry Brooks Cider is a must-try. Don’t get me started on the sourdough… all around, 5 stars!!

Really enjoyable meal here. I had the Habibi Lamb Burger on a sourdough bun. Lamb was perfrcty cooked but I felt the harissa overpowered the flavors a little. Coleslaw was amazing. My husband ordered the Tuna sandwich which looked really lovely. Would definitely go back foe the ambience alone. It's a special outdoor dining space. Well worth the visit.

The quality of the food + the vibe + decoration are on point. ( The best!!! First time here in this place. We had other foods before at Ojai but this place will be our number one choice next time we visit Ojai again. We 2 people seated outside under the shade. The area looks so nice. We can’t order too much but I think we select the great dishes. So we ordered: sour dough bread Half chicken with 2 sides + lamb burger Next time we might we Half or whole chicken with Lamb skewered instead. (2 of the potatoes side that come with half chicken tastes better than caramelized cauliflower tho. I might get carrot or something else next time) We are so full and had a great time there.

Delicious rotisserie chicken & sides in a beautiful outside patio with mellow music. We got the “We love Benny” wrap and “Le Sandwich” chicken salad. Both were delicious. The fresh white bean hummus was also very good. Highly recommended!

Incredible smoothies, breakfast items, and burritos. We love it here! Also immaculate vibes. And the cutest cat if you’re lucky enough to spot him napping on one of the stools.

10/10 place to enjoy tasty organic foods! I ordered the matcha mochi with the sweet help of the employees, helping me decide which one to choose based on which was sweeter. so I ended up buying the strawberry rose one too! I regret not buying any of their desserts cause my eyes and mouth were both watering at the sight of them… 🤤🤤

But a oatmeal walnut chocolate chip cookie, I realized it had coconut in it. When I took it back. They tried to tell me there was no coconut. Just had coconut oil and failed to realize how not disclosing that is a huge safety hazard for people who are allergic to coconut even take a place like this would be Michael of that.

My wife and I came here on a Saturday morning around 9 AM and there was barely any line. There was plenty of parking in the free parking lot. We also were able to get a table indoors and eat our meal. My wife ordered the breakfast burrito and it was super good. It even had some zucchini at which I thought was super creative. I ordered the açai bowl without banana and really enjoyed it. It had fresh strawberries and blueberries on it. My wife also had this golden latte and she really enjoyed it. I grabbed a decaf Americano. I really liked this option.

This place has the best vibe. The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy and strikes a balance between feeling like you're at a restaurant and somewhere having a picnic because there's seating outside in the trees if you like. We sat outside but close to the restaurant itself. There is indoor seating. There were many people from all walks of life enjoying lunch when we went. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Traditional Burrito which went too fast for me to grab a picture, and also the Farmer's Plate with cashew cheese instead of Jack, and added avocado (for an extra $2). It also came with beans, rice, pico de gallo, pickled cabbage and two corn tortillas on the side. Everything was delicious. We will be back!

Farmer and the Cook has been my first stop when coming to Ojai for over a decade. I love the goat cheese tacos and fresh baked breads / desserts. The smoothies are some of the best ones I’ve ever tasted. Love the atmosphere and consistency here. Cute outdoor garden area with additional seating. Great spot to soak in the vibes.

I love so many things about this place, the atmosphere, the staff and the FOOD keep me coming back again & again !!! I appreciate that they have dairy free & gluten free options.

I had a stout (Tux), which wasn't exactly what I was looking for on a 95deg day, but it was so worth it. It might have been the best stout I've had in a long time. Creamy feeling because of the nitro, and just delicious tasting notes. I should have gotten some to bring home. My partner had a white ale that he enjoyed. Cool space with AC inside and a shaded outside area facing the street.

We ordered the Wagu burger and a papaya salad. Both amazing. They asked if I wanted to spend $3 and upgrade to the tots as a side for the burger. I said yes... I do not regret my decision -best tots I've ever had.

Excellent brewery, it must-visit not only if you’re passing by, but even if you were remotely close-come by for a great selection of beers and awesome snacks

Beer is great but food is ALSO GREAT! I stopped here for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed myself! The service was so friendly and quick and the food was delicious. I got the rice bowl with lemongrass beef and friend mushrooms. It was a little spicy, and so tasty that didn't have to add anything! I'll definitely be going back. I took home a 6-pack of Chief Peak and am drinking it now!

Compact museum that succinctly summarizes the history of the valley. Included was an interesting textile art display with intriguing materials. There happened to be a local student art recognition event in the courtyard when we arrived, so we saw young artists and their families enjoying the atmosphere.

My daughter and I visited the Ojai Valley Museum while staying with family in Ojai in July 2025. I thought the museum had some great exhibits and there was a lot of great history to learn about. We enjoyed our visit.

Small Museum of Ojai, they have AC so it was nice to get out of the heat for a while too. They're very very friendly to our toddler. Quite a small display but they have a larger room with seasonal exhibits

The staff are welcoming and helpful. They provide a worksheet for kids to look for objects in the exhibits and will even help you locate them.

Small quaint museum with “suggested donation” of $5 each. Though it was “suggested”, one would feel pressured to pay when the person asks once you come in, And there wasn’t anyone else in the museum. It was a tiny museum with a small section of the history of Ojai and a special exhibit of architecture.

Ojai Deer Lodge is a historical place filled with reminders of the past. We really enjoyed seeing all the antiques and the rustic decor. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The menu has a variety of items sure to please anyone's palette. We ordered the patty melt, served on sourdough bread, and a generous amount of grilled onions. It was a delight to the taste buds. The side of coleslaw was very flavorful, and the cabbage was very fresh. I highly recommend Ojai Deer Lodge.

This place is super fun. Feels like we are in an old ski town. The vibes are mountain/biker turned hippie rancher. Great selection of local drinks. They bring in some cool indie bands/artists for live music, they also have a pool table out front to enjoy. There usually is a cover to get in on weekends.

The 3 stars is for the food only. We stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. Had 2 bloody Mary’s, tri tip sandwich, nachos, and hush puppies. The food was mediocre at best. Do not order the hush puppies. It was super dry and not good. We sent it back and wasn’t charged, thank you for that. Besides the food, I was happy that it was pet friendly and the outside is really spacious and nice. It’s a cute place just outside of downtown. There were lots of bikers there.

Had the pleasure of watching the live performance of Matthew and The Atlas! Cozy vibes and good food!

Our first (and only) visit to the Ojai Deer Lodge was for Thanksgiving dinner. To say that it was a disappointment would be an understatement. It was the food. Believe me when I say that it was comparable to the meals served in homeless shelters. Of course, those meals were free of charge; this one was over $200. The saving grace was the service. Our waitress did a terrific job waiting on our table while balancing the needs of the crowd of other diners. Note that there is very limited parking here.

Dinner was delicious! The buffalo burger is soooo good! The cookie sandwich dessert was not as good as the cookies were very hard. We will definitely be coming again!

My colleague's and I had a lunch break during our work conference at the Ojai Valley Inn and one of them highly recommended we go to the Ojai Deer Lodge for lunch. It was an excellent suggestion. The lodge is situated right off a main road with parking out front. There was a nice side courtyard with outdoor seating and ample seating in the rustic lodge. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the sun and fresh air. I would highly recommend that. The menu selection of food was very diverse at very reasonable prices. I ordered the wild salmon on wild rice with asparagus. The portion was very of good size and the price- just $26. Overall I would definitely recommend stopping by and checking out the lodge. Although we didn't eat inside I did get a quick tour. There was a small music stage, amazing decor of large antler chandeliers and a bar with a wide range of spirits. I would say it would be fun to come here in the evening. So come check this place out!

High quality beautiful delicious fruits, vegetables, flowers, and handmade goods for reasonable prices. The environment is amazing every Sunday morning, filled with music, families, animals, and pure joy! Totally recommend the market as a classic Ojai experience.

The produce is great and the people are AWSOME. Very friendly and informative about their products. We are not lical, but found many items to bring home including lavender, olive oil, wood crafts, Apples, papayas and much more. We also saw cheese, fresh chicken and eggs. Oh, and of course great flowers! There is a public parking lot across the street. The market is held on Sunday morning and closes by 1pm.

We love farmers markets but this was pretty underwhelming and very overpriced. Fairly small. No dogs/pets allowed.

Great farmers market. The absolute BEST FRUIT I have ever had in my life!!! And I even saw a TV star at the farmers market!!

Lovely selection of farmers some from right here in the Ojai Valley. One may find, in addition to fresh vegetables and fruits in season, fresh flowers from more than one vendor (the grower from Carpinteria has a great selection. Other vendors offer flowers in addition to other things.); honey, a few meat and poultry sellers (top notch), olive oil, eggs, baked goods - BreadLok from Santa Monica generously drives up to vend at this FM. Their's is a gluten free bakery and oh so wonderful - fav is the olive bread and that lavender dessert cake! Trying the focacia this time. Anticipating greatness. Stepladder creamery comes down from Cambria with excellent cheese. Goat and cow. Grooving on Cabrillo right now (manchego like). There's even a coffee roaster selling beans (not coffee to drink). BTW, it's all open now without capacity limits. Honestly not crowded at all when I went. Masks are still required (writing this review April 2021 while pandemic still in play. Obviously, things may be different in a few months). So grateful to have such a blessed FM.

The Tico salad had only 6 beans, about 5 or 6 pieces of meat and the huge whole leafs of butter lettuce were why the food got 3 stars. I really expected more beans & meat for the price & also think the meat was unflavored. It would be better if they chopped the lettuce even a little as if out on a date there's zero chance of eating that gracefully. It became messy and hard to eat due to the whole leaves. Their Songbird was delicious and the ale my date had was good too according to him. There's no rating spot for the drinks but 5 out of 5 on the drinks at least. This will be a stop in the future when in Ojai looking for a quick drink. The seating area is seat yourself, which is nice, you can choose where you'd like to eat. There's fans above the area and I believe I saw heaters for when the weather is colder. Cute area on the corner faces their main street. Parking on the street is probably easier than in the Plaza they're at as it's rather small for a lot of businesses to share. Clean eatery, nice healthy options, kid friendly environment, give them a try.

Very quick service, friendly staff. Went two nights in a row for dinner and ordered the fish tacos and the smashburger. Both dishes were exceptional; however, they were VERY expensive for what they were. $18 for two tacos is crazy!!!

Super cute window service eatery serving up delicious, super fresh and healthy dishes. On this trip, I tried the salmon tacos and they were phenomenal! Highly recommend if you’re ever in Ojai to stop by, order some tacos and dine outdoors on their beautiful patio and soak up the California ☀️!

What a steal of a meal! I loved this spot. It was a great post Ojai hike meal. The smash burger was INSANE. I love when restaurants have a nice shaded and garden vibe outdoor seating area. Highly recommend for families or couples traveling to Ojai. I even saw the waitress pouring a cocktail with Sparkling bottled Ouachita water...so you know they use the best ingredients possible here! :)

Nice place for comfort food. They have approximately 6 beers on tap and very knowledgeable and helpful selecting a beverage. Plenty of wines to choose from by the glass. During the week they closed at 4pm. I just made it before closing. I had the two fish tacos. The fish was perfectly fried. I definitely will return to try a different dish. No indoor/seating. Approximately 20 covered seats when it rain. Fun place to eat.

Great tasting local sourced items. Great tasting food. Good portion sizes. Plenty of seating options. Easy parking right out front. Great location right at the end of the downtown area. Salad was a bit over-dressed for me. I'd probably ask for dressing on the side next time. The staff were attentive and friendly. Quick service during the bustle of the dinner crowd. Drinks are strong with good flavor. Nice kids menu options. Recommend the fish tacos, Oaxacan and pixie juice.

Bad fast food. Stopped here for a light lunch on our way for a 4 day holiday to Paso Robles. That night I came down with a case of food poisoning which I traced back to the Ceasr salad, which potentially was prepared in an unhygienic manner.

Tipple and Ramble is a neighborhood oasis. It’s quaint and charming with the food and service to match. They have a good wine and cheese selection, and great indoor and outdoor seating options. It’s a gem in Ojai, just a few blocks off the main road. We ended up buying wine and habanero apricot jam to take with us. All around great experience.

Such a beautiful cute little place! The drink menu is not large but they still have a great selection. Empanadas! Yes, they have an empanada menu and we tried every single one. Delicious! They're small. Our party of 6 ordered 2 of each, split in half and enjoyed the variety. Several seating areas. All super cute! Absolutely loved this spot, I'm a fan!

We went there for lunch while we were in Ojai celebrating my daughter's birthday. I was disappointed in the menu. It was mainly expensive charcuterie boards & empanadas. It was more like having a snack than lunch. In our group of 12, 3 don't drink alcohol. There was a sparse amount of non-alcoholic choices that included San Pelegrino sparkling water. I paid $35.00 for a board of snacks. While we waited for or charcuterie boards. The server brought our drinks & didn't know who ordered what. She brought an orange juice drink that apparently was supposed to be a substitute for San Pelegrino. When we asked about the San Pelegrino sparkling water, she brought a different brand of sparkling water to one of person in our party, however 2 of us ordered San Pelegrino. The service was slow. A couple members of our party left to pick up tacos to eat at a wine tasting where we had reservations. We had to take our snacks to go. Tipple and Ramble is a small family business that didn't have the staff to handle the number of customers that arrived that day.

Beatiful little place to get a drink and a light snack. They have a comfy little outdoors area with seating and self serve water. Not a place to go to fill up, rather a place to sip, munch and let your problems wash away. Dog friendly so bring your pup.

This place is so cute! Empanadas and vinho verde we’re pretty good and the ambiance and decor is awesome.

The food was delicious as a whole but the Motley crew lamb masala was the star of the dinner, it was packed with so much flavor that complemented the tandoori chicken and naan so well. Our cocktails of choice were the Nuevo mundo which was more refreshing and the Free bird with more spicy, both were mezcal based. To end the night we got the falooda that had layers of flavor one under the other as pictured and were good to eat one layer at a time but when you grabbed a spoonful of them all that was when you got a something that can only be described as subtly tart, sweet, and refreshing.It was a very warm ambiance from the bar seating while waiting for a table, to the outdoor seating.

This is a MUST VISIT restaurant if you are in Ojai. We ordered the naan bread, crispy rice salad and pork belly with noodles. So delicious and savory and the ethnic collaboration is just fantastic. Don't miss out on the fact that they also have an amazing breakfast menu available as well! Our server, Gabriel, was fantastic and did a great job highlighting the details of the menu.

Super fresh food, really lovely staff. We got naan, crispy rice salad and coconut chickpea curry and 2 cocktails for $95 I definitely want to go back and try more menu items, or come with a few more people to get more items! Sophia was our server and she was so sweet. Next up : tea leaf salad , beef curry, and one of the aged tuna dishes

Expensive but very high quality pastries. I had a hard time picking what to get! Simple but good coffee, too.* *I will say that having the ONLY nondairy milk option be a housemade almondmilk that you pay $2.50 extra for kinda sucked

One of my favorite restaurants! We go every time we are in Ojai. Food is always good, they don't have the fish head in the menu anymore which is a bit disappointing but we have made peace with that. I am writing this review after I have tried every dish and drink on the menu that are nuts free ( I am allergic to nuts) 10/10 no notes! Fantastic! Can't for our next visit! The service is amazing!

We had a lovely time at The Dutchess. The food had some hit and misses. The coconut chicken noodle soup was delicious but the noodles could be chewier, a bit overcooked. The biriyani was delicious in flavoring but would do better with big chunks of lamb verses the minced meat. The rockfish flavor was not as spiced as expected but cooked perfectly. The chicken tikka was very delish and no notes! Great staff, very cool ambience. Worth trying.

Came for lunch and dinner. All the food was delicious, no wait when we went both times (it was a Monday for us though). Highly recommend the congee in the morning and the passion lime pie for dessert!

A wonderful, wonderful park. Plenty of shade, a nice water fountain and plenty of seating in the entrance courtyard, several parking options, one of the best playgrounds I’ve ever seen, short hiking paths, nice tennis courts at the back, clean toilets and water fountains available.

Lively Ojai park filled with fun experiences and people. There is usually an event going on whether it’s a small market, music group, performance, or tennis tournament. Must visit place in Ojai for a peaceful walk or fun play with children on the playground.

Very much impressed with this park! Out first time in Ojai and this park was a big hit with kids! Really cool rides, mist, fountain, stage, tennis courts... you make it, this park has it!

Nice park with a small plaza with a central fountain. A playground, sure to provide plenty of fun for the kids, is located here. Tennis courts with grandstands and the Libby Bowl amphitheater are major attractions, as is the old jail.

It's a cute park with tennis court where some world famous tennis players played. This small town Ojai according to the locals is for weekends. We found it odd that shops did not open until 11 or 12. Some open only Thursday through Sunday. But it was very sunny unlike the gloomy seaside. Traffic must be awful on weekends.

An excellent park for families and general recreation. Tennis courts, a generous playground, amphitheatre, hiking trails, squirrels being flirty - this park has something for everyone.

This has to be the cleanest, nicest park in socal. So many fun things to do and something for all ages too. Even a box sledding hill with boxes stacked nicely on the side. We walked to the part from the bike trail and it was so peaceful and lovely.

Walking in at 5:30pm with a toddler… I cringed inside but hoped for the best. Luckily for me; as I was starving & not the one with children… we were immediately sat on the patio. As I ordered everything that caught my eye. I was incredibly impressed by it all. Nothing was phoned in. Everything is beautifully executed. By the end I was delightfully full. Most time veggie dishes are an afterthought. Yet; at Rory’s they might still the show!!

The ambiance at Rory’s Place really makes it a standout experience! The service was very nice - our waiter was lovely, but left us for some longer stretches of time so we were there a bit longer than we wanted to be. The food was extremely fresh and well cooked, particularly the Japanese sweet potato - get it if you go! I also got the Hello Satan cocktail which was a mezcal passionfruit situation. Delicious and well balanced, and the rest of their cocktail menu looked equally as thoughtful. My main dish of King Salmon didn’t blow me away given the price, but my partner really enjoyed his hangar steak.

Waited over an hour and a half for a table (we didn't book a reservation) and it was worth every second. The food is phenomenal and the servers are wonderful! We got the market salad, hearth bread, chicken liver pate, hanger steak, and banana cream pie. All were delicious but our favourite was the bread!

This place is bomb. I did not expect to be writing a review that starts with bread, but OMG their sourdough bread for the cheese and pâté is amazingly fluffy. I could be smothered in this bread and I’d die happy. The cheese plate was one of the best I’ve ever had. I think cheese plates are fine on average but this was next level - every cheese had fresh and nuanced flavor. The carrot dish had such a vast variety of flavors that somehow all worked together (and the burrata in it is freaking lovely). The daily crudo was hamachi and is the only dish that fell flat - but the fennel and the sauce in it were surprisingly delicious. I spent the same amount of money here on dinner that I did at The Dutchess for brunch and this blew The Dutchess out of the water. Make a reservation - we reserved a table for a Saturday at 5:45pm and the place was packed. Well deserved, Rory’s. Keep the flavors coming.

We loved our experience at Rory’s! The service was excellent, shout out to Carrie! All of the food was fresh and delicious. I had the tomato margarita drink and it was exceptional. The salads are really something special, fresh, crispy, thoughtfully assembled. My husband is obsessed with the sweet potatoes. The skirt steak is a MUST. & the pavlova was the perfect balance of sweetness and passionfruit tanginess. I couldn’t recommend dining here more!

Lovely, vibrant spot with delicious food. Service is solid although we never did get a bowl for shells. Some really delicious bites like the tomato salad and grilled oysters. Seafood tower was pretty standard. I was hoping for more from the cocktail sauce or mignonette but the seafood itself was well done. I’m withholding the 5th star because they specifically say Channel Islands seafood on the seafood tower but I don’t think any of it was local. Possibly the bluefin crudo, but that seems unlikely.

The plates are mostly for sharing. Very creative and interesting dishes and flavors. There are no customary types of salads, so keep this in mind. The oysters were great, as was the hanger steak and the tuna tartare.

Our first time here, this place has been on our list for over a year and the timing finally lined up for us to check it out. The place is quaint and elegant. Our server, Anthony, was very attentive and had a great recommendation for the roasted beet ravioli. We split a salad, a soup and a pasta which they plated separately for us and did not charge us a split plate fee. I was pleased with each dish. They were pretty spaced out and if we hadn’t needed to catch our movie after, we would have felt more relaxed to stay. All in all it was a lovely experience and we will be back to try the spaghetti!

We had a great dinner here. The atmosphere is wonderful- located in an old house with a great deck/patio. The food was terrific. We had the pork chop and the ravioli.

We had a wonderful dinner at Nocciola! We enjoyed the ambience on the outdoor terrace, the pork chop, bolognese, scallops, salad, and short rib. Excellent service. The wine menu is a bit small and lacking, but the cocktails were very lovely.

Came here for my 30th and everything from food to service to ambience was phenomenal. My favorite was the quail! Dined with an Italian (who is a bit of a snob when it comes to his country's cuisine) and even he was impressed. Wish it was closer to home. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Ojai.

Used to love this place. Returned after a couple of years. Service was attentive but cold. Food was no longer special. Some dishes were very routine (ravioli, boar pasta), duck sauce was dense and sweet. Salad was fine. Scallops were about the only standout in a good way. Would not necessarily recomment anymore. Did the chef change?

Quick Summary Cool ambiance with the patio seating, especially in the back when you have the backdrop of the Ojai sunset. Food was decent (the highlights were the olive oil and the lamb carpaccio). Plenty of street parking available Food- 4 stars Food was decent but isn't worth going out of your way for Bread with olive oil- the olive oil was very solid and hearty. Really enjoyed it Lamb carpaccio- this was pretty good as well. The only downside is that it wasn't evenly salted (some portions were much more salted than others) Lamb shank- this was good, but the sauce was slightly too sweet. Pork chop- a bit disappointed by the pork chop. Overcooked and way too lean. Not the most enjoyable experience Service- 4 stars Pretty standard, although we did wait a pretty long time between our appetizers and entrees Parking- plenty of street parking Bottom Line Cool ambiance if you're around the Ojai area. Really wished I tried the pasta or ravioli dishes, because was disappointed by the entrees.

Nice room for tasting. It's pretty cheap for a flight of 4 wines. But it was nicer if we had an option to get some food along with it. So we ended up buying pizza and bringing it in.

Unfortunate experience. Selections were small, just 4 selections for flights and not so good qualities. It’d be bearable if the staffs were helpful and they barely explained when pouring wines. It was a single line. Don’t even had a single organic or natural wines. No worth.

Great atmosphere and service - very relaxing. Good wine I only tried their whites and rose but liked it (the Chardonnay and the estate white were my favorites).

This place is superb. Atmosphere is great; the girls who were working there during my visit were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I had the White Wine Tasting and I loved their wines so much that I ended up buying three bottles of their wines. I particularly like their Vermentino ( I am Italian and it is very difficult to find good local Vermentino). I will definitely go back.

Thank you, Charlie, for your excellent service, especially when my mother started explaining the rules of Codenames to you and then went on to explain in detail the clue I had given her in the previous round which was a very specific inside joke referring to her family name, leprechauns, and ghost stories. You are a gem of a person. I enjoyed the buttery Chardonnay and I don’t usually enjoy chards as a general rule. Same with the rosé - not generally my cup of tea, but it was perfect. Pure, unadulterated rosé. Just like the dinosaurs did it. Some of the best bathroom experiences I’ve ever had. Truly splendid. I would go again just to chill in there. Also, using grape vine roots as art is possibly my new favorite thing. I’m all for uplifting nature as art and incorporating organic materials into indoor surroundings. Nailed it.

Great wines! Despite not having the reserve tasting, all wines were outstanding with great flavor. The server was well knowledged and explained each wine in detail and origin of the grapes.

We spent a gorgeous afternoon wine tasting here 💕 They’re dog friendly, both inside and out! The flights were reasonably priced and (most importantly) delicious. Highly recommend.

A nice spot for a casual meal of salad and pizza. The salad dressing was unique and really tasty, while the pizza itself wasn’t particularly special but had a wholesome, healthy flavor. They don’t serve soda, so I tried the kombucha instead, which is locally made in Ojai—and it was surprisingly delicious. The atmosphere inside really captures the local Ojai vibe. If you plan to visit, make sure to check out the restroom—it’s definitely worth a stop!

Pinyon is a must-go for you next trip to Ojai! The staff there are very kind and laid back, and really know the menu well. We got two pizzas, the giant beans and the broccolini. If you go, GET THE BROCCOLINI! It’s finely cut with small pieces of date and some Calabrian chile, which makes for a super interesting veggie order. They also gave us a free sesame baguette on the way out - these people know their bread!

Must have forgot to review 10 months ago! This has been a go to spot when in Ojai. Post hike, post or pre anything honestly. Great sourdough pizza, the bagels are insane. I love how clean and tasty their ingredients are. Also, the homemade lemonade is crazy! They also serve great cold drinks as well. Super friendly.

Visit to Ojai found Pinyon. We enjoyed a pizza, and salad for lunch that was outstanding. Their fresh lemonade was delicious and tart from locally grown lemons. We also got some bread that was freshly baked sourdough baguettes and a free form load. It is the best bread I’ve had in a long time. Well worth stopping.

A delightful surprise! Wasn't our first choice for dinner but we ended up having an absolutely stunning meal. Ordering is a bit counter intuitive with the hybrid counter service / coursing, but the food more than makes up for it! The caesar salad was a lemony dream and the smokey goat cheese pizza was to die for! Will absolutely be coming back here.

VERY unhappy with the service and food here at Pinyon. My friend and I came in looking forward to dinner since we’ve been wanting to try the food here. We ordered an $18 pizza which ended up costing us over $23 because they include gratuity, and it wasn’t even a full service restaurant! You still have to go to the front to order your own food and pour your own water, other than them bringing us our food I’m confused why tip is automatically included?? Also, probably wouldn’t have tipped much if it were up to me because the host/waitress was AWFUL. She honestly acted like she hated us… and we both sensed it. It was hard to get her attention, and when we asked for ranch she brought us a cup for free but then said they charge for extra? The whole experience felt very off, and the food was below average. I wouldn’t even be leaving this review though if not for the mandatory tipping on top of the awful service. Left a very bad taste in my mouth and will not be returning

Nice clean small brewery with pool table and corn hole, and they were nice enough to turn on the outdoor fire pit for me. The beer had great flavor, nice balance of bitter and sweet, I will definitely return, would recommend

One of the hidden gems of Ojai - maybe some of the best beer in the area, family owned, small biz. Locals haunt. Great music and nested inside is their sister concept SIDESTREET. Its a no-brainer. This place is awesome.

This place has the best chill vibes in Ojai!! Great beer, wine spritzers, hard lemonade, etc….. Games and pool too! Live music most weekends and rotating food trucks.

The drinks are fine, nothing special. Extremely passive aggressive bartender, which I normally don’t mind but would not allow people to finish their drinks past 9 o’clock exactly.. sold people drinks at 8:55 and made them leave them? Literally kicked someone out of a chair at 9:03 maybe change your hours to 8:30

Have always enjoyed this place for the beer, good vibes, food trucks and music. Now they are also serving several really fabulous wines made from local grapes. Our go to place to meet friends or just chill together and play pool. An Ojai gem!

Outstanding 🤘🏻 Found ourselves in ojai, wanted to check this place out and couldn’t be more impressed I asked for the IPA, awesome 👏, barkeep Fabian steered us towards Just the tip (with spruce notes) and it left me wishing I was a poet capable of expressing myself in text better than my own pathetic limitations. Only a place that knows the art of aromas and notes of wine could produce such a unique blend. And the atmosphere was so damn inviting. People of all kinds kept trickling in, sad we had to go and blessed I got to chat with Fabian a bit about his top 3 recommendations for Japanese whiskey 🥃

You will not go be disappointed with stopping by and enjoying a cool craft beer and delicious specialty burger at the Ojai Beverage Company. We have been twice since moving to the area and will be back!! I was coerced into the “cheat day” and was not disappointed and neither will you! (see pic - yes it’s huge and no, I didn’t finish it!) Service was top notch and to be commended on accurately describing the nuances of the craft beer options we each chose. Craft beer selection options are plentiful amazing as well!!

It is a very unexpected sweet place to have yummy desserts and truffle fries while shopping for bottles of wine for a family party. We had only planned to shop, but the charming staff and adorable atmosphere had us sitting at the table and ordering snacks. You will be delighted with everything from the music to the lighting and super knowledgeable staff.

When you enter, it looks like a very large liquor store. At the back is a bar/restaurant. The prices, the food, and service were great. I highly recommend stopping by. I had the beer flight trio as well as the mezcal flight/sampler.

Absolutely love this place. Reminds me of Tennessee where I’m from. I love it, excellent food and service. Great selection of drinks! They are fast and thorough. I have never had anything bad here. My go to is the turkey burger with blackened fries. They are great with splitting things which is so nice a lot of places don’t do that so well. It feels like a second home.

Everything was great, I was very pleased with the opportunity to replace the meat patty in the burger with a vegetarian one. It's brilliant!!!

The meats? Succulent masterpieces of flavor. The drink selection? A dazzling spectrum, featuring even the elusive Ramune soda for the kiddos (because fizzy fun knows no age limits). And the staff? Long-term legends, serving up both deliciousness and charm with a side of friendly banter. Five stars? Pfft, give them the whole galaxy!

Loved the Firehouse burger and ribeye sandwich. I highly recommend the blackened fries, fried pickles, and sours.

We loved our stop here on the way to LA. The premises are so nice and well maintained and the servers were very attentive and friendly. I also really appreciated that we could bring our own food which we did. Having that option really enhanced our experience since some of the group wanted to have some wine and some did not so we were not forced into a full scale wine tasting. I also loved that the different wine varieties were labelled accordingly.

I had the best time at Topa Mountain Winery! Katie and the owner Larry (plus his dog Luke) are all wonderful! The wine tasting is well worth it! I loved the sparkling Brut. Also don’t forget to order a glass of frosé. I hope to be back with my dogs soon! Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Ojai.

As Santa Barbara wedding photographers, Ojai is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from us and we LOVE photographing weddings at Topa Mountain Winery. This venue has it all, we love the epic views at sunset when the Topa Topa Mountains turn their signature pink, the ceremony spot in the vineyards, and the reception area just a few steps away. Topa Mountain Winery has so many incredible spots for photos on a wedding day, including a brand new mural! This was the perfect backdrop for the bohemian and neon elements of Jasmine and Tyler’s wedding. Although the mural was just painted a week before their wedding, it complimented their day perfectly and felt like the inspiration for the feel of the day.

I want to like this place alot since it's a great location, I'll be back to try the other wine tasting. I always go for reds, but personally did not enjoy them. The host and my server barely tried, (almost got a snobby reflection) would have liked to know more about the wines etc. But certain styles of "flights" you don't get this opportunity, especially when all the wine pours come out on a baking sheet. Like I say though wonderful and manicured grounds, worth it for that! And right off the main road in Ojai.

Picturesque winery in downtown Ojai nestled below the mountain views, pretty atmosphere. The wines in the tasting were okay, nothing blew my socks off but the service was great and we didn't get the full experience due to some restrictions with Covid19. I would come back and enjoy it all over again.

We have come with one of our pups as well as on our own and thoroughly enjoyed both times. Tables are spaced now yet the ambiance is still very comfortable. We enjoyed the wines so much that we are wine club members now!

Cute plant store with a few other items, and they also do custom framing. It's housed in an old gas station just a few minutes from the main area of town but definitely worth the drive. Lots of nice looking plants, pots, and stained glass.

Mike absolutely crushed it with framing my latest piece of art and that was on top of taking the time to sit with me when I dropped it off to help really figure out what options to go with. Great shop that’ll be doing all of my future framing.

We had a awesome experience here celebrating our recent marriage. The team went above and beyond to make our experience special. The food was excellent, very creative yet a lot of familiar flavors we love. The drinks were great and Thomas our waiter was extremely attentive and fun. In the way our Chef Perfecte made sure to chat with us and it was great to hear a bit more of his story. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a special and/or romantic dinner in Ojai.

Got all of our orders wrong every single time the food came out. The insisted we ordered things that we didn’t order. They specifically told us they could accommodate a gluten allergy, and then they refused to serve us the accommodating dishes. Will never set foot back in this hilarious excuse for a fine dining establishment.

I was in the area and decided to stop at Agave Maria for an early dinner. They have a large patio and it was quite warm out but the patio felt nice as there are many umbrellas for shade. We tried the guacamole and chips which were good. The guacamole definitely has a strong lime flavor but it was tasty. They give you a generous portion of salsa and chips upon arrival as well. The chips were nice and fresh and crispy. The service was quick and the food came out right away and was hot and fresh. We had the chicken mole which was very good. I wasn’t fond of the rice as it was a little flavorless for my liking. We also had the queso Birria tacos which were very good along with the consommé. I thought it was a bit pricey but they definitely give you nice portion sizes. The wait staff was very friendly.

Good food. Got fish tacos but it was chopped up fish which made it harder to eat. Lots of flies. No complementary chips and salsa. Service was slow. All together good eats and flavorful but could have been better.

We came here for lunch on our day trip to Ojai. I'm glad we did. I loved the atmosphere of the place. The patio outside is very spacious and pleasant. I'd always any to sit there if it's nice out, which of usually is there. The service was quick and the guys war delicious. I had the Tostada which was great but both the plates we had were big and filling. We'll definitely be back!

I can't tell you how long I've been coming to this particular restaurant. Since before It was called Agave Maria's, in The Times when songstresses would get on the balcony across the street at the play house and sing to us, when it was called Tony's. Long ago, when they used to have jazz on weekends and the strawberry margaritas were enough to drive all the way from camaro. I can tell you with complete honesty and over 10 years of coming to this particular location that the wet burritos with red and green sauce are 100% the best burritos in at least a 75 mile radius. Great job guys

The Espresso Oreo flavor is a home run. The Rainbow Sherbet took me back to childhood. Staff was friendly and efficient, letting us try 7 different flavors. Yum yum yum yum yum. Prices are actually reasonable - $5 for a kids size which is a giant scoop. I feel like this is $6-7 in LA. I recommend this place!

The single scoops are way too small and not worth the $6.25 price. My kids and their friends asked for two flavors on a single scoop and each of those scoops was bigger than my one-flavor single. It was like I was given the child-size scoop. Note to the owners.... check out RorI’s single scoop in Ventura.

We love Ojai Ice Cream! Rocky Road is my favorite flavor-very family friendly with a cute orange bench out front and they are open every day! Go after dinner for a family dessert outing!

Cute little shop with many types of ice cream and sorbet. They have olive oil ice cream and I found that quite interesting (never tried that before). However, my favorite ice cream they have here is blossom orange. Staff is patient and happy to help in your tasting quest of the perfect ice cream serving. (I forgot to take pics but I’ll update my post since I know for sure I’ll go back!)

The store has been too busy before, to get in, but yesterday, my timing was perfect. Two scoops...Heavenly Honey and Lavender Honey. It was the best part of my day and it's a blessing I don't live closer!

Oh my God this taco was so delicious. I forgot to take a photo. The steak was amazing. It tasted fresh. There was no hard nerve pieces. The tomato was 100% fresh not discussing you could tell it wasn’t sitting there for a very long. The spicy salsa tasted very fresh. It tasted like tomato but spicy at the same time. It was delicious. I recommend this place.

Get your food and go. They quickly run out of your favorite meats . They are only open till they sell out. Reminiscent of the soup Nazi.

On a day trip to Ojai we followed the recommendation of some friends to get in line and order a bit of Mexican bliss. Totally worth it! The steak burrito was phenomenal, from the soft & fresh flour tortilla to the meat, rice, beans, guac, cheese, and salsa.

We were in Ojai because my son was taking a test at a near by school. We were walking around town and walked by the Tortilla house, they were closed so we went into a near by business. When we came out not only was the Tortilla House open but there was a lone down the block. I inquired from a few people in line what all the fuss was about. I was very mature of factly told that this was the best burrito, not only in town, but possibly the best burrito on the west coast. Now I love a good burrito and I feel I've had many near perfect burritos so I just had to eat here and put it to the test. I waited for my son to be done with his test, as he fancies himself a connoisseur of the bean and cheese burrito. I picked him up and we headed to The Tortilla House immediately. We waited in line, looked at the very simple menu, which is very refreshing, to me that says this is what they specialize in and the have perfected it and have no need for filler items on the menu. Burritos, taco, quesadillas, that's it, you choose your meat and toppings but you're only getting one of these three items. While we waited patiently and with growing anticipation in line, I noticed that there was a woman in the back hand making the tortillas as they were ordered. To say I was excited is an understatement. I ordered the al pastor with beans, rice, and cheese. The ingredients were obviously cooked that day, probably as I passed by earlier while they were closed, everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The beans and rice tasted like my grandma used to make, they were homemade ingredients in a tiny shop and they were wonderful. The tortilla was a work of art, rolled out and cooked with knowledge that only comes from true love of your craft. I cannot express how incredibly impressed I was, how happy this burrito made my palate, how exquisite the flavors blended together. I cannot say it was the best burrito I have ever had, but it sure was close.

Staff is warm and welcoming and work well together as a team to ensure an enjoyable experience! A great place to relax and enjoy a cup!

Sleek and modern ambience, small selection of baked goods and very friendly staff. The best part about this place - the coffee. We tried their Costa Rican chemex coffee, and it was absolutely delightful - not only how good the coffee was, but how they served it as well and how reasonably priced it was. Would highly recommend coming here for a cup of some great coffee.

Nice little coffee place taking covid precautions. Latte I got was pretty good, but not mind-blowing. Chai was literally spicy (burning in the back of your throat). The beans I got (washed Tarrazu) were fresh, light roasted as labeled, and high quality.

Iced vanilla latte was delicious. The gluten free donut was not so much. It looked so anemic. It was under baked and overly sweet. The shop has a nice atmosphere and lots of seating. Nice place to hang out and read the paper.

The ambience of the location draws you in from the side walk above with a tranquil sunken patio with umbrellas and garden setting. The wine tasting was ok, our group didn’t find any one wine worth purchasing, as we did in other wine rooms that day. The service was less than desirable (almost rude or bothered) for what you are expecting, especially after visiting other wine tasting rooms in Ojai.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and had our choice of seats in there awesome area. It’s well shaded and extremely comfortable. The man who helped us was super friendly, took his time telling us about each wine, and never rushed us to finish. I will definitely be going back!

What a gem! Great wine, the outdoor seating area is very lovely but the staff is amazing. Very welcoming & accommodating.

Sadly the servers really let this place down. We had high expectations when we saw how pretty the place was, but it seemed the servers really did not care at all about the customers or the business. They came across as rude and apathetic and gave the impression that it was a huge imposition to have to serve us. I felt pretty uncomfortable. On the upside, the wine we had was good and the setting had a great ambiance. I'm sad for the business owner that their employees appear to have no passion for their work or care for the business. I wouldn't go back for this reason.

The wine and ambiance was great. The servers seemed to not have cared less about us, they seemed annoyed. At the end, I asked the server if it was okay if we split the check, she laughed, and then said yes. I normally can count on a great experience in Ojai, unfortunately, not this time. I will not be visiting Majestic Oak Vineyard again.

We had a wonderful experience at The Day Spa of Ojai. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, and the massage was both professional and deeply relaxing. The staff is great, shout out to Kioni ( for me) and Don ( for my husband). We both left feeling refreshed. We highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a serene setting.

I'm a larger bodied woman of color, and felt really comfortable at this down to earth spa. The massage was genuinely one of the best I've had and exactly what I wanted. The facial was quite nice and the esthetician was lovely. The lobby is not the fanciest, and the chairs could be updated as they really swallow you, but I will for sure return to this spa on future trips.

This was by far the best massages we've had in a while. My husband had Kay and raved about his experience. She really cared about what was bothering him and made sure to target those areas with therapeutic massage and made him feel so much better. We've had massages all over the country, and this one was by far the best!

We (my BAE and I) decided to go to Ojai for a date night and went to The Day Spa of Ojai. We were pleasantly surprised that it was a wonderful experience. The facility was clean and very comfortable. We were greeted warmly as we completed the standard massage questionnaire. Both therapist did something unique, which was brushing our skin first, which was an added touch. My therapist had good techniques and the pressure was just right!. We will definitely return and refer our friends 🙂

This spa has a smaller, homier, cozier atmosphere. There is no pool or sauna if you like those kind of amenities at a spa. But everything, everything else is so wonderful you don't need those other things

I had a lovely time today at the The Day Spa at Ojai. The waiting room is cozy, with tea and water available. The whole place has a great vibe, friendly, the staff very attentive. The massage room was so comfortable, the warm massage table a comfortable temperature. Shannon was my therapist, and the massage she gave was excellent, leaving my whole body extremely relaxed. She addressed an issue I was having, and helped to make it feel better. She also took a few minutes to give me advice on how to loosen the area at home. She was so skilled, professional and thorough. I’ll definitely be back when in Ojai.

We talked to some locals and they recommended this spot and OMG… so good! We walked in around 6pm and were able to get two seats at the bar. Everything that was coming out looked so good. We ended up getting the insalata zarina, Pizza del bob, and Ezzelina. My favorite was the Pizza del bob but my friend lovedddd the Ezzelina. The insalata zarina had all fresh ingredients from the farmers market that day and the Ezzelina had homemade noodles! Definitely stop in :) can’t wait to eat our leftovers!

DOG friendly patio in back accessible through the walkways. Seriously some of the best pasta I have ever had. And yes, Im including Italy! Make sure you order the homemade pasta, although I'm sure the dry noodles are good as well. Many other options on the menu. See pics of menu from May 2018. I can't say enough about this place. We went for a romantic meal, mainly attracted by the ambiance and it turned out to be one of the best meals I've had in a while. If you're in Ojai, this place is not to be missed. The menu is extensive and very well curated. The food is fresh, flavourful and delicious. The prices are a bit high, but generous portions of the high quality food more than justify the prices. I would highly recommend the 'Fettucine di Limone alla Marittima' - lemon/herb pasta in brandy-tomato-cream sauce with fresh wild local catch and baja california clams - I was totally blown away; it is easily of the best seafood dishes I have ever had. The outdoor seating is perfect for the pleasant Ojai evenings, and makes the dining experience delightful. A big shout out to our server who took amazing care of us and made our evening even more memorable. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing place, great hospitality and the waitress are so warm. A big shout out to “ROSEY”, she was so warm and hospitable and made sure we are properly taken care of for all our meals. This was our one of the few Italian restaurant experience and she made sure we had a great time.We liked everything from drinks to food. If your in ojai please visit this place!!

Got here at opening at 5. Unfortunately couldnt try the local wine but had a great italian red that was equivalent. Enjoyed the mushroom risotto, mushroom toast, the housemade pasta with shrimp and a house salad. Ingredients fresh, lots of shrimp with the housemade pasta. The bread with olive oil and balsamic tasty. Since my partner is diabetic, we opted for more pasta vs a dessert so no sweets. Overall did not disappoint. No corkage fee if ya bring your own. Fyi.

Playing really good music ranging from Vietnamese to Reggae, this place knocks our socks off. We had the banh mi, the spicy torta, the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, and it was ALL vegan!!! They spared no expense for taste, and the staff was superb. We can't wait to go back.

The Hip Vegan definitely fits in with the vibe of Ojai, California. My wife and I stumbled upon it after a walk in Ojai and we had a fantastic experience. Typically we are carnivores and did not know what to expect with an organic and vegan restaurant. The Hip Vegan has a very interesting menu and at first we did not know what to order. We wanted to try something new and we were completely surprised by how much we liked the food. We tried the Souk salad which had a fresh and great taste. At the register we saw their specials and decided to give two dishes a try. We ordered the Spicy noodles and Lime in the coconut and they both tasted great. The food was very filling and nutritious and a great value for your money. They offer a vast selection of different specialty drinks and also beer. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had a calm and mellow vibe. Honestly was surprised by how much we liked it! If you are looking for a healthy and nourishing meal, while enjoying the town of Ojai give Hip Vegan a try!

This place has an amazing selection of vegan bites. They have a varied standing menu as well as weekly specials. Cuisine is varied; they have Mexican, Asian, and American-inspired dishes. Make sure to try the grilled tempeh.

The food here is super delicious and all vegan or vegetarian as well. Amazing flavors that they can pull off with a more limited ingredients. Was looking for a place to eat and also to setup my laptop and work a little, and this was the perfect find with good wifi. Great service and nice atmosphere.

A solid vegan spot 🌱🌮 After a disappointing tofu dish last time, I was skeptical. I checked the menu beforehand but wasn’t thrilled—two dishes were too spicy, and the third had tempeh (not my thing). Still, I gave it another shot, and I’m glad I did. The best options were on the specials menu. My group ordered from the main menu—a burrito (solid) and a Wagamama Bowl (also good)—while I went for the ‘Lime of Coconut’ special, which was very good. Prices are reasonable, the ambience is pleasant, and overall, it was a much better experience than last time. Would return—but probably sticking to the specials!

I visit Ojai about once a year and this place is ALWAYS on my list. The food is absolutely delicious! On this trip, I ordered delivery for the first time. Their website quoted an hour, and when the one hour mark came, their delivery driver (Lauren) called me to say she was on her way, about 10 minutes out. I’ve never had food delivery where the restaurant calls within the quoted time to notify me of delays. I’ve always had the absolute BEST customer service, which is only overshadowed by how good the food is!! Eat here, you’ll be back, too!

I appreciate that gluten free pizza options are available, but holy cow it is expensive. I understand paying a few dollars more to offset the cost for the restaurant, but paying the same amount for a small gf pizza and a large regular pizza is not right. Most people that are gluten free have no other choice.

Everything in THIS EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT!!! Upon walking in, we were greeted with a warm smile and friendly Hello, and allowed to choose our own seat. Ashley, our server took exceptional care of us, even seeing to a little extra toppings on our appetizer, the Potato Wedges. We enjoyed a lively and thriving business that places its guests and customers first, and it shows, as several parties came in over he next hour, keeping the staff hopping! The food was beautiful, from the salad to the woven edges of my calzone...it was as pleasing visually as it was on the tastebuds. The portions were excellent, as we both left with boxes to enjoy tomorrow, and left room for dessert. All in all, Ojai Pizza Company was every bit as awesome and fun as I had read online and I am thrilled to have come in. We will definitely be back!!

Revel kombucha Bar and açaí in Ojai has hands down the best açaí bowls I’ve ever had—no exaggeration. I come all the way from Oxnard just for them, and it’s worth every mile. The fruit is always fresh, and beautifully arranged. But what really takes it to the next level is their granola—seriously the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s crunchy, flavorful, and adds the perfect texture to the bowl. The quality and care they put into every bowl is obvious. It’s not just a snack—it’s an experience. If you're anywhere near Ojai, you have to stop by Revel Place. Just be warned: once you try their açaí bowls, you’ll be hooked.

Me and my husband LOVED this place. Amazing customer service. So friendly and kind! And their kombucha drinks are SO GOOD. My favorite was the harmonious blend and blue moon. My husband loved the eclipse. It was fun to be able to try them all. If we ever find our way back to Ojai we will definitely be stopping there again!

I don't drink it often, but the kombucha and acai bowls are FANTASTIC! My body really enjoyed them. The staff is wonderfully friendly, helpful with suggestions and the space is comfortably calming.

I have loved kombucha for a long time. I have loved acai for a long time. One place that does both is amazing. On tap booch, acai by the scoop, and even floats with both! Fire place. Love it here. I come out from Thousand Oaks all the time!

A must-visit for foodies! (5/5 Green Stars) I really liked the kombucha flight experience here. The place was relaxing haven on a rainy day, with friendly staff, board games to try and magazines to read. The Pink Moment was a favorite – it’s made from green tea, raw honey, ginger, hibiscus, orange zest and the jun culture. Technically, the culture is known as “jun” rather than a kombucha “SCOBY”. Kombucha is usually made by fermenting black tea and refined sugar while jun is made from green tea and raw honey. I learned something new today – two things, actaully! The other is that SCOBY stands for “symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast.” Anyway, even without strong flavors added (for example, the Om, which had just a little blackberry and lavender) Revel’s kombucha (jun!) tastes amazing. Perhaps even more enjoyable was the vegan charcuterie plate – vegan cheese and salami with crackers, olives and apricots. The vegan cheese was from Conscious Cultures in NY and the salami was from Renegade Foods. Honesty, I’ve never had better vegan cheese, and I’ve tried quite a few. There were two pretty sizeable chunks of cheese, in the styles of brie and blue, and each did really taste like the dairy equivalent. Another microbiology side-note: both brie and blue cheeses get a lot of their flavor from the Penicillium fungi that they are inoculated with, rather than the milk itself. So congrats to Conscious Cultures for figuring that out, and thanks to Revel for introducing them to me! I hope that charcuterie plate is still available as I don’t see it on the current webpage. I’m giving Revel Kombucha 5/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, for these reasons: • The kombucha is made from organic green tea and organic honey and various additions such as organic ginger, blackberry, orange zest, etc., depending on the flavor. • Besides being almost always organic, many ingredients are local too – like the oranges, of course! • The food on offer was great – the vegan charcuterie board introduced us to new products like amazing brie and blue cheeses from Conscious Cultures. • I appreciate that they let me purchase a liter of kombucha by refilling my Sigg flask. They also provide re-useable glass bottles for buying kombucha to-go.

My friend and I had the pleasure of eating at the Ojai Pub the other day. The food was yummy, the service was awesome, and the atmosphere casual and friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating, free street parking. Full bar and great music in the background. If you haven't been and you are visiting Ojai, give it a try, your taste buds will thank you.

Food is good. It’s not extraordinary but it’s good. The drinks are strong. They don’t come to you and take your order. You order at the bar and they bring your food and sometimes you also have to get up and get your drinks from the bartender.

Food was ordinary. I ordered the Sausage Platter with bratwurst for my sausage choice. The brats were dry and nearly flavorless. The fried broccoli was inedible. French fries were good but how do you mess up fries? As for the service, I sat at the bar. Despite literally sitting in front of the bartender, I had to wait for the bartender at the other end of the bar to take my order. The singer/guitarist was too loud for the venue. Also, he kept beckoning the crowd to accompany him on his songs. Great for a concert; not so much for a small pub.

Ordered to go tonight through DoorDash and it was amazing. Great vegan options and I called to verify my order was vegan and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable about my questions. Def new late night to go spot for our vegan family!

My husband and I just got married at the Ojai Retreat and Inn. It could not have been a more perfect experience. The retreat center is beautiful, situated on the hilltop overlooking the Ojai Valley and the Topatopa Mountains for the perfect view of the famous Ojai pink moment. We did a full venue buy-out and had our immediate families stay on the property. It was delightful enjoying the grounds, watching the birds and rabbits, and admiring the stunning views. The retreat center provided us breakfast every morning so we could visit together and enjoy a delicious meal without having to go off property. There were plenty of areas to visit and catch up, from the scenic Mountain View Terrace to the Living Room at night and when it was raining. There are three separate areas we used for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Each was the perfect location for what we needed it to be. We chose the Pink Terrace Amphitheater for our ceremony, with a stunning view of the mountains. The Waterfall Garden kept our guests surrounded in beauty while my husband and I took pictures in the Meditation Garden during cocktail hour. And the Mountain View Terrace was the perfect place for us to enjoy dinner and dancing under the string lights by the outdoor fireplace. Our guests came from all over the country and kept admiring the view and saying it was God's Country. It was like something out of a fairytale! And I can't recommend the staff at the Retreat Center highly enough. From Ulrich the founder of the center who first gave us the tour of the property all the way to the housekeeping staff that tidied our rooms throughout the week, everyone was incredible. Oliver worked the front desk and helped us with our tech needs for showing our slideshow on the Retreat TV Monitor. Dana was there the day of our wedding with his kind presence and gifted us a lovely basket for having our wedding there. And Lia the business manager was amazing from start to finish, from the first email with information for booking all the way to leaving us a box of all our guest's lost and found at the end. Her kindness, laid back personality, and the freedom she gave us with our wedding ideas made her a delight to work with. Book the Ojai Retreat for your wedding, and if you're not getting married, just go up for a peaceful, lovely getaway. My husband and I can't recommend the place and the retreat staff enough!

We booked the entire venue for our daughter's wedding. Dana, Oliver and the other staff were exceptional in helping us to plan this great weekend. The ceremony was under the giant oak, followed cocktails for the guests by the waterfall transitioning to the upper patio for the reception. The panoramic view is unbeatable, check it out.

I am so happy I got to know this place. Lia is the best host, and all of the facility is so cozy and beautiful. A real place for calm and happiness. Yes, the entry level basic rooms are basic and entry level. But this is a case of you get what you paid for. Everything is super clean, and this place was one of the best hotels along my 5 weeks California trip last year.

My husband I were shocked to see the state of this hotel after reading so many amazing reviews. We are staying in the green room, which you enter through the kitchen and hallway. There was a women’s group holding an event and we had to walk through to get to our room. It’s old and shabby. One of the things that turned me off most is that the towels in the bathroom are so dingy, old and miscolored and appear dirty. I’m sure they’re clean but I literally wouldn’t use towels like this for my guests at home. The bedding also ancient. Yes there are nice views, but it’s in need of some major TLC. The waterfall garden isn’t really a garden and has fake grass around it. The pond is dirty and unappealing. The property has so much potential, but in its current state, i don’t recommend. The price was no bargain. We live about an hour away and considered actually going home after our dinner at the Ojai Valley Inn. We decided to stick it out.

A let down. The view is the only plus. The rooms are very old. The cleaner came once, and didn’t come back so we couldn’t empty our rubbish. Was a nice area, but no restaurants nearby. You will need to drive into town. It’s basic considering the high cost in October.

We got to our room, called green room, which wasnt easy to find. It was located right next fo a kitchen/dining hall, walking through a sterile corrior in what looked like it could have been a converted office, with old lady decor and a misleading view from outside compared to pictures. We were so depressed about it that we asked for our money back before taking the room, and they discounted our experience and complaints and would not refund us the money we paid in advance for the room. Check rooms carefully- definitely don’t recommend this room sadly. We aren’t ones to give bad reviews but this was our sub par experience.

Spent the weekend in Ojai and this was a great place to stay. There are some places to eat within walking distance of you don't mind the hill. My wife and I walked down to the nature preserve and to some of the shops a little beyond that. Great views of the valley and it was nice and quiet when we were there. The rooms were nice for a 2 star place, no TV which was not a big deal for me and my wife. The breakfast was nice too, which was included. The staff interaction we had although limited was very positive.

Me and my sister did the play with clay class and had a blast. Was a great first time throwing clay on a wheel (I have no natural talent) and got to make some cool pieces. The lady who owns the studio is very friendly and said you should book this class directly through her website rather than Airbnb or other sites because it’s cheaper. I thought that was nice of her to mention. You’ll get to make up to five pieces and decide which ones you want to keep. Then if you’re local enough, you can come back and glaze it yourself which I plan on doing

Fantastic . Recommend a weekday class which allows more hands on instruction. Learned the history of pottery in the region. A great class with shipping for out of town visitors

We had a great time at Firestick! Really talented staff and awesome to see the advanced work that they have on display and for sale as inspiration before the class. They were very hands on and helpful. Took the class with my six-year old who had a great time and loved learning about the pottery wheel. We used the option for staff to finish the pots and glaze them, and then they were shipped to us. They turned out even better than I expected, and it was like Christmas for my six-year old opening up the package when it arrived. Highly recommend. Thanks!

Can definitely recommend the honey tasting here. It was a full tour learning experience where you can feel the family farm vibes. I had no idea the distinct difference in honey flavor & texture from single origin plants the bees were pollinating. Just beware, it is hard to narrow down purchase decisions when everything is so delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised by this lovely honey tasting room. The personal tasting experience, given by the owner, Barbara, was especially eye-opening. Each honey has its own story and journey that makes theirs special. The lavender honey was a standout for my nightly relaxing tea time and the Fiddleneck is now my secret sauce in my Salmon recipe. The chrystalled Sunflower Honey with Organic Lemon oil bests any Lemon curd I used to use. Stop in, enjoy the fun tasting and go home with some special honey. Better yet, have it shipped to you. It's a special gift to share with those you love.

$3 for tasting of 6 honey, which is not expensive but the experience was lackluster. I'm not looking for a spoonful of honey, but each sample felt very skimpy. No educational background or anything, just 6 samples which took less than 10 minutes even with the savoring. Nothing outstanding about it and it's something that's free at other honey shops so I wouldn't recommend it.

Love this place! I never knew there could be so many different types and flavors of honey! They are all so good I had to pace myself! They offer honey tasting and I strongly recommend it. They also have some cute gift items and candles to choose from. Stop by if you're in Ojai!

I am from the south, and honey is a staple in my diet. After 2 years and trying every brand sold in stores, I found this mom and pop while doing an exploration of Ojai. I use my honey mainly for drinks, but rarely I'll use it for desserts. The Sage honey and the Lavender Honey have completely annihilated all competitors for me. I bulk buy from this company every year now, I get it for people as gifts and they always come back about the lavender honey and how to get more. Its helped with my allergies as well, cant say enough good things about this place. 10/10 If you live in LA, and your in Ojai for a visit, this is a must.

A beautiful little home goods store! The outdoor alleyway is definitely the best part - so many cute planets. Next time I'm in Ojai, I'll definitely be coming back to this spot.

This is a must see. So many great, creative local crafty products. It is literally a hole in the wall so look for the turquoise doorway. Most of the items are outdoor gargen/patio decor, but there is a small interior shop with jewelery, blankets and much more. Not only many custom products, but more importantly, there are lots of local unique gifts. Some prices are high, but there are some must have values. This will be a stop for us every time we return to Ojai.

The perfect example of judgement in our society. The moment my brother of special needs and I walked in here there was no acknowledgment of our existence. Do not come here if you are Hispanic or not white. On vacation with my family and would have been happy to spend money on some of the sweet things I saw in here. Too bad only their materialistic products have any life to them. Continue the blatant racism. It’s what makes our society so much better.

If you want great food look no further! We just spent the weekend in Ojai for our daughter's wedding and enjoyed our first breakfast there so much we brought 10 people back with us the second day. The service with a smile is exceptional.

I was passing through Ojai just as Bonnie Lu’s opened and thought I would give it a shot. It is a cozy, welcoming restaurant with friendly service. I ordered the Denver omelette with bacon instead of ham, and it did not disappoint. If you’re in the area, you should try it out.

This 30 years family owned and operated diner has the ultimate classic breakfast recipes. The staff are extraordinary. Comfortable seating with food that makes you want to come back again and again. Try the thin pancakes or any omelette.

Pros: charming service, enjoyable food. Cons: $22.47 after tax and before tip for: one egg, one biscuit with gravy and hash browns is exorbitant.

Wonderful experience overall. Big meals for a great price and the friendliest staff. while the food was diner food it still had a true homemade taste, not just open a big bad of frozen foods and drop in the fryer. Felt like stepping back in time to an old family diner. We loved it and can’t wait to return. It’s a nice alternative to the rest of the area.

I'm sorry to disagree with most of the other reviews. I had "Country Benedict", which was described as poached eggs on a sausage patty, on a biscuit, all covered with gravy. The sausage patty was home-made and tasteless except for an occasional hint of spoilage. The gravy was a tasteless slurry. The poached eggs were undercooked. The coffee, which was extra, was weak. It's evidently the restaurant has a lot of regulars, so maybe I was just unlucky, but anyway this was my experience.

It’s a really traditional American style restaurant. You can tell the waitresses are really friendly and they’re happy to serve. Multiple choices on the menu. You can always find the dish you like! Some of the food are little too greasy, and the sour dough does not taste the best. It’s a nice restaurant but unfortunately we waited for 30mins to be seated and another hour for the food. Make our dinning experience disappointed. Hope you can improve it after seeing this review!

I had a five star experience here! Very helpful staff, everything was clean, fresh produce and great prices! They also have quality products! THE WAY WHOLE FOODS USED TO BE BUT EVEN BETTER!I love a place that caters to my needs and then some!

I recently moved from Miami to CA, it was a great surprise to find Cuban pastelitos at the bakery, I bought the guava and cheese and Argentinian empanadas I have to admit these are the best I had so far!

The WholeFoods of Ojai. Fantastic breakfast bar and the rotisserie chicken is excellent. They also have one of the best wine selections in town. I get a chicken burrito every Friday night! yummy

From five stars to three I've been here since 06 and it's just not the same. I used to go there for breakfast but the salad bar just isn't the same. It's got three or four mystery salads now with mystery goop mixed in with it. The individual offerings are cut down by at least 50%, so it's difficult to make a salad I consider nutritious for me. Otherwise I pretty much like the store. The people are nice and occasionally ask if they can help me and I've even been asked what I think of their operation by a couple people and I've been politely honest.

Big range of fresh, packaged, and ready-to-eat food. Small supermarket, but it packs a lot in. Friendly staff.

Very Nice Antique Store.Staff was nice. The prices seemed too high, but there was alot to see. Do not let the store front confuse you- go inside several dealers many different items. Even an upstairs with vintage clothing. Was worth the drive. The views from driving to the area are beautiful!

Some interesting items but prices are obscene. Antique navette ring listed for $5000 while identical rings listed in DTLA for around $700. $7 record bins full of $1 records in poor condition. Prices non negotiable. Don’t waste your money here.

Great place to stop and tour for about a half hour. Check out their performing arts theater for current productions as well as their gallery space for current exhibitions. Tiny little gift shop, but it gets the job done.

A lovely place. So many people walking and enjoying the city. Locals at restaurants and the arts center and there was a blues festival that we attended and although it was super hot, we had a great time.

Had the best time watching Young Frankenstein - such a talented cast! Not a bad seat in the house.

A cute local spot with an art gallery and a theatre for plays. This center has a small town feel, which is to say it's not enormous in size but is very inviting if not cozy. A Christmas Story was playing when I visited, and there were lots of families with young children in attendance.

Obsessed. I spent about an hour in this magical shop having the best time talking to Alexis and learning so much about the incredible local artists and their products. The backyard has an incredible 400+ year old tree and is so peaceful. Also a great collection of crystals, instruments and cards.

This has been the worst experience. I went in for a reading. They forgot to charge me for the reading with my crystals purchase. They came to my HOME unannounced tracking me down without any receipts etc. and have been hounding me and charging my credit card for higher amounts since then. Be aware.

The original and my favorite metaphysical shop in Ojai. Love the crystals, gifts and anything for your spiritual needs. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful. The store is beautiful and the patio is really special. Great psychic readers, astrologer and healers. A must see.

I absolutely LOVE this store! We go to Nutmegs every two weeks, the owner Meg herself is so warm and welcoming along with the rest of the staff here. Me and my husband make sure we stop here every visit. Which is probably every two weeks, we just can’t get enough of this place. The courtyard in the back of the store has a tree which is over 400 years old, the energy itself is just amazing, hard to describe. The tarot readers here especially Christina are just fantastic. This is a must go to store, especially if you love stones, gems, crystals etc, definitely the best store in town. So glad we discovered this little gem in beautiful Ojai.

Nutmeg’s Ojai House is a beautiful little oasis. Great crystals, stones, jewelry, and hilarious greeting cards. I performed The Divine Mess Show here — comedy plus a meditation at the end — and I’ve been hooked ever since! Meg, the owner, is a good soul who cares about making sure her shop has what people want. And her back patio, with that gorgeous tree, must be visited before you leave!

I went in hoping to get my bike fixed but instead got the worst service ever and my bike wasn’t fixed. They failed to repair it and wouldn’t even let me come in to retrieve it. They were beyond rude and complete nut cases about masks. I wasn’t allowed to come in and get my bike so I had to get someone to do it for me. No fixed bike and worst customer service ever! Never visit this establishment. Stay far far away.

Hands down the best experience I could wish for. From emailing some question before my trip even started to getting hooked up perfectly ready for a gravel ride. Chris, Tim and all the other folks from The Mob Shop made me feel at home and were the best crew to be welcomed by. Did Sulphur Mountain Loop, followed by some playing around in the River preserve. Best advice I could’ve gotten! Will come back, would recommend and just come and visit!

The best part about this place is that I don't know what's wrong with my car going in but I know it's gonna be fixed coming out. I'd let these mechanics give me a triple bypass surgery simply because they said they could. Reliable, great guys and honestly you're not gonna beat their price.

Terrible customer service. My partner and I made a reservation to reserve an e bike. The e bike was very uncomfortable and could not be adjusted unless we returned to the shop. We did so and asked if they had another type of bike that we could rent because this one was uncomfortable. No accommodations were even attempted. They happily took our $100 after we only rented the bike for 30 minutes due to the poor quality of the bike. Not to mention that they would not rent us an extra helmet and also insulted our own e bike. Hard to say if we received poor treatment due to race or gender discrimination as a queer, POC couple as I see most of the positive reviews are from white men. We have emailed management and have yet to receive a refund or response. Update: I received the attached email from the owner Tim after posting this review. While I appreciate the refund, as you can see from his tone, this shop is not interested in taking accountability for the poor customer service we received. I did call Tim and speak to him but again, zero accountability.

If you are looking for a non e-bike for riding the valley trail: go to Bicycles of Ojai. 25% cheaper, much more availability, and friendly and helpful service. We had reserved e-bikes at Mob Shop (since the right non-e-bikes were not available) and staff was not very interested in answering questions and certainly not in being helpful. We ended up canceling and paying the penalty (half), and were happy we did so.

If you are going to be in Ojai and looking for a great bike shop and tour guide, look no further! Kelly took me on a 30 mile ride through some of the most beautiful terrain I've ever seen! The bike i rented was awesome! Go check them out!

We are so lucky to have Bryan Kest and Serge Bandura in our sleepy little town. They are world masters of yoga and inspiring spiritual mentors. Not to take away from all the instructors at Light and Space. There are many creative and uplifting souls here. It's a beautiful space and lovely community.

Just what I needed in a studio after biking from Ventura into Ojai. The space is clean and gorgeous. The class I took was creatively designed and beautifully executed. I’d definitely practice there again.

I love this store the clothes and accessories. My biggest gripe is that the sizes are all so small. They order in tons of size 2’s and 4’s maybe a size 6 and hardly ever a size 8. EVERY time and I mean Everytime I have been in there (and it’s a lot as I live in Ojai) I have never ever seen a six 6 or 8 but tons of 2’s and 4’s when I ask why they don’t order 8’s or even a 10’s they look at me like I’ve lost my mind. (By the way they don’t order anything above an 8) I am 6 feet tall i am not going to fit into a 2 or even a 4 ever! I love this store however I can’t shop here only for super models apparently....
