Galleta Meadows is a unique desert sculpture park located along the Southern California S-3 highway in Borrego Springs. Created by artist Ricardo Breceda, the park features over 130 massive metal sculptures known as 'Sky Art.' These sculptures include creatures such as elephants, raptors, dinosaurs, mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, serpents, horses, and even a sloth.
Great sight seeing spot for the tourist or the local. Arrive by any vehicle you prefer. You won’t be disappointed. All visitors were respectful of everyone arriving and taking photos. That’s the vibe. Respect for the community. 🤙🏻☯️💜

Excellent sculptures throughout the dessert. Can drive into area be respectful of property..owner gives permission... stay on paths already made & use car or walk around
Mitch K — Google review
Super beautiful road to this place. Viewing the sculptures takes from 1 hour to 1.30. There are paths between the sculptures. A great place to spend a weekend.
Sirin M — Google review
Fantastic and free. Recommend all wheel drive in places so you don't get stuck in the sand. Some deep ruts, high clearance recommended also otherwise just park on the side of the road and walk in.
Dan M — Google review
Sculpture in the Meadows run through Borrego Springs both North and South of the roundabout in town. You can drive up to many to get a close view and see the beautiful and detailed works of the artists. This is a must do in the area and worthwhile time spent viewing.
C L — Google review
Nice metal sculptures in Borrego Springs, by the side of the road, and free to visit.
Martin C — Google review
Spectacular metal sculptures all over the place. We only visited 53 while more than 100 should be out there. Some Google Maps coordinates of certain sculptures are not correct. But that is not a real problem, because you will see most of them from a distance!
Rüdiger G — Google review
This huge outdoor art exhibit is fun to visit. In the meadow, there are no fence, no paved roads and no set trails. You can just roam around in your car and stopped anywhere to see these large metal creatures. You see scorpion vs a grasshopper at one end, T-Rex at the other, then a Chinese dragon spanning 350 feet across both sides of the Borrego Springs road. You can easily spend a day here if you want to see everything.

Arts organization
Nestled in the heart of Borrego Springs, the Borrego Art Institute is a vibrant contemporary art hub that has been captivating visitors since its inception in 2005. This nonprofit organization emerged from a collaboration between local businessman Dennis Nourse and talented artist Nita Wipper. Housed in a beautifully renovated historic retail building originally designed in 1949, the institute showcases an array of rotating art exhibitions featuring exceptional works by regional artists.
I have been to the institute for various art shows. The space is very open with the natural light from the large windows. The shop is really nice too. There is a nice gift shop with a large variety of options to purchase. There is a good amount of space inside the gallery so you don't feel too crowded. The front of the gallery has some beautiful landscaping that is mixed with different types of art.
Greg K — Google review
This is always a must-stop on my visit to Borrego Springs. Located right on Christmas Circle. The exhibits are outstanding. They showcase artists while one has the opportunity to see our beautiful desert landscape through their eyes. Be sure to pursue the gift shop. Again, everything reflects the talents of our artists.

Nice place! Wonderful artwork and pottery, definitely a recommended place for artists and alike. Everyone was super friendly and supportive, can't wait to come back again!

Borrego Springs sure has changed in the last 10 years and this was a pleasant supprise. Excellent Pizza a bit pricey but was worth it.
Todd W — Google review
Was short on time so did a quick walk through. Would like to spend more time there to experience the local art. Dog friendly and the fountain out front was busy with birds drinking and bathing.
Floyd I — Google review
I love this art gallery. Well, worth a fun little road trip. Incredibly talented artista with shows that change throughout the year. They also have a wonderful, unique gift shop. Plus it's in a great historic mid century building!
Roam B — Google review
Didn't have any displays as getting ready for a Plein Air session this weekend. Was some nice art for sale.
Patricia M — Google review
to see an art institute in the middle of the desert is quite an inspiration. Local philanthropists pulled together about 10 years ago and made this happen for the local community. Hours may be seasonal for both the Art Institute as well as the attached restaurant, Kesling's Kitchen, but these, along with the other great shops and restaurants in Borrego are worth the visit. Most impressive, just like the unique sculptures scattered all over the desert in Borrego Springs, no tax dollars, government agencies, or outside developers have been involved in these local improvements.

Visitor center
Hiking area
The Anza-Borrego Desert State Park Visitor Center is situated in the picturesque desert town of Borrego Springs, Southern California. This charming village is surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the 600,000-acre Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, featuring wildflowers, palm groves, and rugged canyons. As the only International Dark Sky Community in California, it offers unparalleled stargazing opportunities with its clear night skies.
Uh, yeah! I stopped for the sculptures but stayed for the beauty. Located about 30 west of Coachella/Salton Sea the park is extensive but, near the highway and accessible by car, there are dozens of giant rusty metal sculptures of ancient giant mammals that used to roam the area. They have a giant scorpion and locust. As you head north the sculptures are of dragons and even an adventurous four wheeling pair in a Jeep. For the most part you can drive your car up to and around each statue. The ones that you can't drive up to see are close to road with clear paths to them. To the west are beautiful mountains and to the east the park stretches as far as your can see. A great place to visit. Children will love it. Bring your camera because you will never see anything like this again and your friends won't believe you when you tell them. Peace!
Mandolinman58 — Google review
Great place! We stopped here first to get info on the various hikes in the area. Great visitor center and staff to answer all of the questions. The center also has great samples of the various cacti out front. $10 entrance fee to the park/carload. Very clean restrooms with soap and paper towels! Picnic area both in the sun and in the shade around the center. Ample parking on dirt
Rich M — Google review
Amazing visitor center with plenty of interesting exhibits and park film. Amazing rangers to help you out too! Park stamps of the park and the Anza Trail are offered here as well as a junior ranger program (no age-limit, so anyone can do!). If you can, hit a star party for some astonishing night skies.
TheDoRanger — Google review
Wonderful Park, was lucky enough to see a Coyote right at the entrance. The visitor centre itself had wonderfully helpful members of staff and a small exhibition to show how the park came to form, there was even a short movie to watch. Various trails were pointed out by rangers and maps were provided free of charge(donations were welcomed). Short drives to each route, reason for 4 stars is because the actual routes were not brilliantly signposted, this was likely to keep the natural aesthetic.
Thomas C — Google review
Largest state park in CA ... 600,000 acres. Limitless hiking. Visitor center great helpful people. Take water on hike & eye glasses/prote ction. Winds are STRONG debrie flies. Pay park pass at ciocsk. CC or exact cash
Mitch K — Google review
The state park, because they are firmly under the spell of the radical environmentalist and the Democrats, have basically cut off access to most of the northern part of the park to all but the most hardy of hikers of which I am one so I thought I would post some photos of what others who aren't quite so fit used to be able to enjoy because they could drive their Jeeps back up into these areas but now can't. Seems like kind of a shame to me that only a very select few can enjoy these areas anymore, due to who knows what or why, but then again being under the control of radical environmentalists and the California Democrats means you don't have to answer the questions of what or why.
Steve C — Google review
Don’t be fooled by the apparent lack of a building from the map! The visitor center is build as a cave! It’s very nice with plenty of great information, Anza Borrego merch and super friendly and helpful staff that pointed us to some great hiking trails

Red Ocotillo is a popular restaurant in Borrego Springs, known for its delicious farm-to-table cuisine. Located just off Christmas Circle, this charming spot serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a menu featuring fresh garden salads, burgers, steaks, pasta, soups, and desserts. The restaurant's quaint atmosphere and high-quality food make it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Great service, beautiful atmosphere incl surrounding well manicured gardens. Terrific service both friendly and attentive. An impressive bloody mary with all the accutrements. Tasty pancakes with pecans. Biscuits and gravy avail in a half order. Happy with our order. Would eat here again!!

Our group of 11 motorcyclists arrived at Red Ocotillo after a three-hour ride, looking forward to a relaxing meal—and we were not disappointed! The restaurant provided a peaceful ambiance, which was exactly what we needed after our journey. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavorful dishes that satisfied everyone in our group. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home, adding to the overall positive experience. The combination of great service, tasty food, and a serene environment makes Red Ocotillo a spot we’d highly recommend to anyone passing through Borrego Springs. A wonderful place to take a break and enjoy good company!

Let me say that the food made everything else acceptable. Very young front of house staff that was very reluctant to tell people walking in that the wait was over 50 for food . I believe if they had more servers then this would have been a 5 star review. Walked in and. Told to seat ourselves, No menus offered or even pointed to. Staff was not rude at all, just overwhelmed. Overall a beautiful place with delicious food . I had the breakfast crab cake with Benedict sauce and the rosemary potatoes and it tasted like a home cooked delicious meal. I can tell the cook put heart into it. My husband had Peg Leg breakfast -French toast and bacon (cooked perfectly crispy) and the portion was smallest out of all of our order, but very very yummy.

Had a wonderful dinner here today! Our waitress Brianna was great and very helpful with our difficult allergy. Big shout out to the cooks as well who were willing to accommodate to us!

Very good food and reasonable prices. The service is excellent. The waitress included a few spanish words to make me feel welcomed.

We first came to this restaurant and were blown away — not just by the amazing food (seriously, the clam chowder on Fridays is a must), but by our incredible server, Sherry. The moment we walked in, she had us seated with menus, drinks, great food recommendations, and a fun, upbeat attitude that made the whole experience special. We enjoyed it so much, we came back the very next day! Fast forward a month — we couldn’t wait to return. Unfortunately, we found out Sherry was no longer there, and the difference in service was noticeable. The server we had barely checked on us, seemed to spend most of the time in the kitchen, and only really came out when it was time for us to pay. I was even looking forward to trying the cherry cobbler she told us about, but never got the chance to order it. That said — the food is still fantastic, especially the clam chowder on Fridays. I just hope the level of service returns to what it once was, because with the right staff, this place is truly top-tier.
Lorri P — Google review
Probably the best breakfast spot in Borrego Springs, but pricey. Our breakfast for 2 was $58.53 with tip: crab cake benedict and pancake with egg and sausage. Nice vibe.
Todd B — Google review
Came for lunch after a hike. Sat out on the huge covered patio and enjoyed the views of the flowers and mountains. Food took a bit to be served, but not horrible. Had fish tacos (a little bland and the fish is breaded) and a Reuben sandwich (awesome with huge chunks of corned beef). Prices were not outrageous. Staff very nice.

Borrego Palm Canyon is a popular spot near Borrego Springs, just 8 minutes away from downtown. It's a great hike for families, but it can get hot, so it's best to visit in the winter, spring, or early morning. The trail is about 3 miles round trip and some sections are still closed due to a past fire. The canyon features flowing water and a desert oasis.
Update march 8, 2025. The creek was a bit dry when we visited, but there was still some flow if you hiked up to the oasis. The trail was super crowded and full of kids. On the way back, we took an alternative route to complete the loop, which was completely empty—no people, no shade, and no sheep (we saw them here around this time last year). They have a new bathroom at the trailhead. There’s no door, maybe to make you feel more connected to nature. It’s a flush toilet, well-maintained and clean, with the sink located outside.
Churaibhon W — Google review
Awesome 3.0 mile (roundtrip) hike through the canyon to the Palm tree/Creek/Waterfall Oasis. This hike is in the wide open, so not much shade and you WILL NEED water, decent shoes, sunscreen and a snack - we saw way too many people not bringing the necessities! You are gaining elevation on this hike along with many rock steps and slight bouldering in sections. Be prepared! Awesome sites for a desert environment.
Rich M — Google review
The waterfall isn't running, but don't let that distract you from the fact that despite this being a very easy hike, people were turning around halfway up. Bring water and a camera. You may see bighorn sheep, scenic vistas, and other interesting wildlife.
Columbia G — Google review
Cool little walk, easy to do at 66 years young. Not even really a hike. Take water even in March, it can be warm. Enjoy the walk. Took me 1 3/4 hours out and back with plenty of time for pictures.
Grant I — Google review
My wife and I saw bighorn sheep on the return trip on the main trail. We also saw quail, lots of lizards, and hummingbirds. We went in early April at about 8:45 am and it was already 90° F degrees. By the time we left it was 103° F. Obviously bringing plenty of water is important. There is little in the way of shade. Despite the heat, I enjoyed the hike overall. My only complaint is that certain sections of the alternate trail are not clearly marked. Pay close attention to rocks lined up in unnatural ways on the ground to guide the way. The main trail is a bit more clearly marked.
Kurt D — Google review
This trail surprised me. I meandered for a while, finding the trail and then hearing water. Followed the water up. Lots of bouldering and looking down where you step with all the rocks. Many alternate paths, I went up a completely different path than I came down. It's about 1.4 miles to get to the Palm Oasis, took almost two hours roundtrip. In April after a wet winter, there was plenty of water coming down, very pretty. You could still cross the river though which was nice. $10 day pass to park.
Jenny R — Google review
I recently hiked the Palm Canyon dessert trail and had a wonderful experience. The trail is an in-and-out route, culminating in a stunning palm oasis that, while not accessible due to habitat preservation, offers a serene spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. The best time to hike is in the morning when there are fewer people, allowing for a more peaceful experience. The trail is also very kid-friendly, with easy terrain that even young hikers can manage. Overall, it's a fantastic hike for nature lovers of all ages.
Elias V — Google review
An awesome hike for families! Borrego Palm Canyon was beautiful this weekend. It can get really hot so time your adventure in the winter, spring or early in the morning. A sign said it was lambing season (February), but we only spied adult sheep. Bring water and snacks. Our trek was about 3 miles round trip, with some sections of the canyon still closed- due to a fire a few years back. With littles, anticipate about 30 minutes a mile. I was shocked at how much water was flowing down. A true desert oasis! Please note, dogs are not allowed on this trail.

Clark Dry Lake is a serene and peaceful spot where you can enjoy a quiet lunch while taking in the stunning views of Coyote Mountain and Rabbit Peak. It's a great place for camping, but make sure not to drive on the dry lake bed – park on the side and walk out to fully appreciate the tranquility. The landscape is surrounded by beautiful mountains, making it an amazing sight.
Went out there with my umbrella and had an awesome lunch on that dry lake bed lookng at coyote mtn and RAbbits peak and remembering how i use to run up and down these peaks when my knee was good, So quiet love it. You can camp out here no problem, just dont drive on the dry lake bed park on the side and walk out. Enjoy some peace,

Borrego Palm Canyon is a must-visit spot in Borrego Springs, especially during the super bloom when the desert flowers are in full display. The route through the canyon offers diverse landscapes, from rocky and barren areas to lush green surroundings along the stream leading to an oasis. It's advisable to start your hike early to avoid parking issues and witness the stunning sunrise. Remember to carry plenty of water and snacks while being respectful of the trail and wildlife.
If you haven't seen the super bloom . Get out there now, its amazing! One of the best places to see a variety of flowers is Borrego Palm canyon. Id recommend following the stream to the oasis. That route will take you through a wide variety of landscapes from rocky and barren to more lush green areas along the stream. Henderson Canyon road is also a good spot to see fields of flowers (however it is more dominated by one variety) PS: on a moonless night Anza is great for stargazing!
Mo — Google review
There's a reason why so many people go there. Peace and quiet. Been going there for years with my binoculars to see the mountain sheep and never seen any, went golfing one day and there they were, grazing on the fairway. What a sight. Made my terrible golf game worth it.
Paul V — Google review
Beautiful views and a little taste of the rugged wilderness. When there are rains and everything is green, I suggest getting there before there sun rises to start your hike as many other people will have the same idea and parking will be nightmarish if you don't come early. Pack lots of water and trail mix but keep your trash with you! Be mindful of the trail and the wild animals that call this place home.

Big Horn Burgers & Shakes is a counter-order restaurant located in the Palm Canyon Hotel and RV Resort, making it a great spot for families. The menu offers customizable options, and there is ample indoor and outdoor seating available. Despite being somewhat hidden, this restaurant provides a fun and cute atmosphere to enjoy delicious burgers. In addition to their specialty burgers, they also offer the option to create your own. The shakes are particularly excellent here.
The restaurant is inside the lobby of a hotel so there can be a lot of tourists and children running around making it loud, but the shakes are amazing and the burgers have been great too. We come and grab a shake usually at least once per visit through.

We really wanted something healthy, but wasn't confident that we would get a decent salad, so we both ordered burgers. After we got our food, another couple who came after us received their food. Their salads looked absolutely amazing and they seemed to really enjoy it. Well, too late for us, but know that this place serves great looking salads. The outside seating was lovely.

This place is neat! I got the mushroom burger, and the grilled onions and mushrooms were perfect. The burger was really delicious and the service quick and friendly. My son got a chocolate shake that is top 10 in best shakes I've tasted. The fries were overcooked, but the sauces are pretty great. The biggest drawback is how pricey it is. For being so conveniently located though it's a nice spot to refresh after hiking.

An unexpected delight. Come on in to the Saloon to order or go straight past Lobby Checkin and food counter is on your left. Gorgeous raised outdoor patio views with beautiful desert garden beneath. Very well done! Then the food! I haven't had a burger that great in a long time. It was the kind where you need five napkins and oh, so delicious. I chose to customize mine which they encourage. Additionally, their secret sauce was yummy. Full bar available. If you need more reasons to try them out; the service was impeccable and it's adjacent to the AB Park Visitors Center.

Service, attention, quality of the food served, courteous staff, it all comes together under a very capable management. The food is really good, and oh yeah they also have excellent craft beer selection at the bar. I do recommend this place to anyone. Even the atmosphere is relaxed and family oriented . I'm sorry I lost the receipt with all your names, but rest assured that the images are good enough for you to be recognized. You all did an excellent job and for that I'm grateful.

For a place kinda hidden.. it was a cute fun place to have a burger. And that's what they have..Burgers. They have 3 speciality burgers or make your own. I suggest the make your own, My was really good! You can sit inside or outside. And they have excellent shakes! It's by the small town towards the end of the road by a really cool old western lookin hotel.

This is the second place I've been to in Borrego Springs for food and I'm much happier with this experience vs the first one I had at a "fancier" restaurant in town (check my review profile for the deets). This place is super inconspicuous and you don't really know it's there unless you stay at the rv resort here or look it up on maps in advance, which I'm guessing is why no one recommended it to me when I asked for food recommendations in a local Anza Borrego group. You order at either a front counter or you can order from the saloon. The saloon had a good small town bar vibe going on and the food was quick to be finished. I had the chicken strips basket which was great and my partner had the mushroom burger with impossible patty. We were both a lot happier with this experience vs our last one in town. Bonus is free refills on fountain drinks and they give you your fries in a drink cup so you can take them to go. This may become my go-to place to eat when I'm in the area hiking or camping.

Nestled in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Borrego Palm Canyon Campground offers a range of camping options for both tent and RV campers. The campground provides sanitary facilities and spacious pull-through sites that offer privacy. While there are limited dining options in the nearby Borrego Springs, visitors can enjoy the convenience of bringing their own food to the park. The area is renowned for its wildflowers, attracting nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.
This is my first time tent camping here, and it has been a fantastic experience! The campground is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and a convenient token-operated shower. The natural beauty surrounding the area is breathtaking, and the hiking trails offer stunning views and a great way to explore the landscape. Whether you’re here for relaxation or adventure, this spot has a lot to offer!

Beautiful, but expect noise! Loved camping here; stars were some of the best I’ve ever seen. Bathrooms are super well maintained. But it is loud; there were a number of huge groups on either side of us, the campsites are super packed together with no trees etc to separate them, and noise continued well past 10:30pm. If you’re looking for solitude, I’d def recommend getting a Hipcamp instead.

We did the hiking trails in this campground. Able to see Big Horn Sheep and clearly marked paths. It gets hot early so pack plenty of water. The Rangers recommend 1 gallon per a person for the hike.

A nice place to camp with a tent or trailer. Full hookups and pull through spots available. The camp hosts and park rangers are very friendly. The town of Borrego Springs is close by for fun, food, and supplies.

Beautiful desert getaway mid-week only, in the winter only. Too hot in the summer. Only 2 hours away from San Diego. Great hikes up Palm Canyon and Coyote Canyon. Carry lots of water. Superbloom years are amazing! Spotting herds of Borregos is the BEST. Lots of rude noisy campers. No respect for where they are or fellow campers Rangers do not enforce quiet hours!

Great camping experience this year. This February was warm. Highs ate 72 and lies were mid 40s. Our loop had bathrooms and showers, with electricity. Great desert hiking, and a walkway to take your furbabies.

Hiking area
Palm Canyon Oasis in Borrego Springs offers a variety of hiking trails, including the popular Borrego Palm Canyon Nature Trail and Slot Canyon. The trailhead is accessible by bike, making it convenient to avoid parking fees. This scenic and easily accessible hike is suitable for all levels of hikers and features informative signs to protect the area's plant and wildlife.
Had a magical hike through this desert canyon to a true oasis surrounded by fan palm trees and frogs and birds alike chirping. The trail itself isn’t always well marked and there is plenty of climbing up and down rocks and slopes so bring your best hiking shoes. We got our visitor parking day pass at the nearby Visitor Center to the south so we didn’t have to bother as much with the longer line of campers - just showed them we paid for the day and the rangers let us through. Make sure to be on your way back to your car by sundown and have a good flashlight!

I'm not a huge fan of deserts and if you're coming from LA, there are definitely better options. While I wouldn't go out of my way for this hike, I can see how it's appealing to locals close by . Bring plenty of water and make sure to do this hike early in the morning or in the afternoon, it does get HOT! Even with an adventure pass or an America the beautiful pass you do have to pay $10, but it's only per vehicle. There was some water, but I wouldn't recommend drinking from it. We saw a European couple who didn't carry enough water end ended up using the steam to drink . Sunscreen, hats, shades and maybe even UV clothes is recommended. It is a nice place to take pictures.
Jon F — Google review
My family really enjoyed this hike. My daughter is 9 and was able to manage the whole thing, but I wouldn't try it with a smaller child. We saw nesting birds, some frogs, and bighorn sheep! Bring plenty of water, were sunscreen, a hat, ect.

A short nice hike. The trails are well marked and easy to follow. You might want to climb up the big rocks for cute pictures. There water through hike with small water falls to enjoy as well. I personally enjoyed walking on the rocks in the streams and played it’s cold water. The sound of water falls is relaxing throughout the hike. The palm trees at the top are beautiful.
Amie S — Google review
Great hike! Really neat going deep into the canyon. The geology is more complex than initially thought or seems. Really cool. The alternative route is really special definitely recommend taking that route on way back. We Love this park it always amazes us.
Carlos A — Google review
This hike was recommended to me and it was amazing! The lady at the park entrance said to go up the alternative route and down the main route which I would recommend, gives a you a good view of all the different terrains and plants. Oasis at the top is stunning. Was 10 dollars entry fee. Parking easy.
Ben H — Google review
Awesome hike and did not expect all the palms at the end. Was surprised to see all the palms on the main trail were uprooted during a flood several years ago. Hard to imagine that much water in a place so dry. Trail was pretty easy with a few places you had to climb over big rocks. Hike in morning during the summer as you are exposed most of the trail. Wasn't much water at the Oasis but was full of wildlife.
Robert B — Google review
You can cycle up to the trailhead for free and avoid parking fees all together and yes there's a bike rack. The trail is among the most scenic and easily accessible trails in the park. The hike itself is suitable for hikers of all levels and is wide enough to accommodate larger groups. If you go, read the signs and just do what they say. They're there to protect the area's plant and wildlife for a reason, not to prevent you from enjoying yourself.

Hellhole Canyon, despite its foreboding name, is a stunning oasis nestled within a lush canyon. The area boasts an array of diverse flora and seasonal waterfalls, offering a refreshing contrast to the surrounding arid landscapes. Hiking trails wind through the canyon, providing opportunities to explore this unique environment. As you traverse the well-marked desert trail uphill, you'll encounter cacti and eventually reach date palms in the valley.
Hike a desert well marked trail, but it is all uphill making your way gradually trudging through the soft sand of the path. All around are cacti be careful some of the cacti like to jump out you. If you get far enough at the valley trail you will come upon date palms. Now the trail becomes a boulder track, which is as far as we got. Taking cover under a huge rock by a palm cluster. Make sure you have WATER lots of it. Sunscreen, big hat and WATER. Enjoy

The flora and vistas were great. The waterfall was not a worthy destination though. If you’re uncomfortable going off-route or route finding, just remember to keep going up the canyon on way in and down the canyon on the way out!

Kesling's Kitchen, established in 2016, uses a wood-fired Mugliani oven to smoke, roast, bake and grill all its menu items. The daily changing menu has featured dishes like Fried Chicken, BBQ, Lasagna and Fish and Chips. Visitors are encouraged to check their Facebook page for the latest menu and hours. The restaurant offers wood-fired pizza, salads, beer and wine as well as desserts.
For being in the middle of the desert this place is really good. The setting is unpretentious with the exposed kitchen and pizza area. The entire place smells good. Was super hot when there so had to stay inside but outdoor seating is available. Shared a sandwich and a rice pudding, both delicious. They have pizza, haven't tried it but looked legit! I wish they had a better selection for salads but no complaints.

We just came across Kesling's Kitchen just looking for a quick bite. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious! We had the Fish & Chips, a Fried Chicken Sandwich and a Greek Salad. I would recommend all of them.
Paul K — Google review
We were visiting the area [March 7-10, 2019], and had the experience of hoping Borrego Springs would impress us with its culinary wonders!? This is my third review of our experiences; the other two being Kendall's Cafe and the Red Ocotillo, please see/read them. Out of the three, this place/experience was the best in food quality, service, and aesthetics. On that note; the first insights are that the weekends can be busy compared to regular weekdays. As we hoped for our second lunch on a Saturday afternoon, we noted a line emanating from the front door. Not so on trip one, Friday afternoon. This sight created a dilemma; so rather than wait being pressed for time and feeling hungry we decided on the Red Ocotillo 😒. Upon entering the door at Kesling's you order at the front so perhaps looking at their menu on line would be in order to make the process a bit more efficient? The restaurant was not busy so we had our pick of many tables. The order consisted of mine, the Safron Tom and the Go Go Greek sandwiches, and one of their beers on tap [which they were out of?] Made a second choice which they had. The food was well prepared, fresh ingredients, well presented, and tasted very good on the palate. A small side of their slaw was surprisingly fresh, hearty, tasty, and not too saucey. The beer was one of their (brown) offerings,; very good. I noted the business was not busy, so the quick and efficient service stands to reason. Enjoyed the modern and clean looking aesthetics, see my pics and others. A very nice touch was the the children's art work on the way to the restrooms. The restrooms by the way is often a factor of the whole experience. It was clean looking and well stocked including paper towels for drying hands...Overall the rating is in the range of 4.2-4.4 🌟's Enjoy! .

For it's limited menu options and a casual food court kind of feel, this place surprised me with its good food! We went here for lunch. No waiting time, but there is definitely a continuous crowd coming in, eating and moving on. We chose the house special cactus and green chilli soup, pork bahn mi and chicken on flat sandwiches. The portions were decent, the sandwiches come with a side of salad. Everything is fresh and definitely tasty! The cactus soup was delicious!! Will recommend this place to friends if they head out to Borrego springs. Didn't try their beers and wines on tap, but that is on my list for a next visit.
Pranjali S — Google review
The green chili pepper and cactus soup was absolutely phenomenal, never had cactus soup before but now I will search for it. And the Kesling sub sandwich also was very good and so filling. The grilled romaine salad was good but could have been grilled a bit more. Sitting outside is a great view of the mountains in the passing RVs. I also enjoyed the beer selection on draft.

Such a great experience with excellent food, friendly service, spacious indoor and beautiful outdoor patio dining—we went back for dinner after eating lunch earlier in the day. Seasonal super fresh and tasty food “made with love” that you can taste. A gem in this little town!

Really great space located in the Borrego Art Institute building. Very modern. The first step in the door you smell the wood burning pizza oven. You order at the counter and pick a seat. Excellent pizzas and specials. The day we were there they did a roasted green Chile's and cactus (Nopales) soup the was absolutely delicious and a little spicy. YUM. They also make their desserts like salted caramel cheesecake that was light and tasty.

Look, I am moving out to Borrego Springs from New York City so my experience with pizza is pretty darn extensive. So with that in mind, I decided to try the margherita pizza here. Why not? I wasn't let down, for sure, but I wasn't blown away impressed, either. Again, I've had some pretty awesome slices in my day and I really didn't have high expectations for pizza out in the desert. It surpassed my expectations! Honestly, I should have tried something else from the menu because it all sounded good but for some reason the thought of desert pizza grabbed my attention. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're trying to get some pizza or a cold brew. This place won't let you down. Promise. Don't go writing all your friends in New York City about the pizza out here, though. They might give you an earfull. A+ for overall atmosphere, vibe, service, and quality. Great visit

Farmers Markets
The Borrego Springs Farmers' Market, situated at Christmas Circle, had a decent number of vendors despite the impact of COVID. There was a diverse range of vendors offering various goods such as food, plants, and art. Although there could have been more vegetable and fruit sellers, it was still enjoyable for first-time visitors. The market featured nostalgic music from the 1960s which added to the overall pleasant ambiance. Christmas Circle itself was a nice location with restroom facilities and picnic tables available.
It's nice to walk around Christmas Circle and shop for fresh produce, Alaskan salmon, fresh French breads, plants, flowers, and other locals' artistry. Every Friday morning during our season in the desert.

A nice farmers market held on Fridays with the usual fair. Note that the cost for desert plants and succulents is about half of what you would pay in the city.

Eli's produce needs a lesson in customer service. Spent a lot of $ with them over the years but won't patronize them again. Had a 'senior moment' & accidentally left a bag of produce I had purchased at their booth , this was after asking their permission to store a huge cabbage + items I bought from them, especially the cabbage which was as big as a basketball & was difficult to carry around. After I left it came back but they were gone. Kindly asked via phone message & also text if they would credit me but the guy refused saying 'we don't make enough $ to credit you that $17 back'. They are pennywise & pound foolish because this shopper will not patronize them again.

I have two questions though: 1. Why is it called Christmas Circle Park? 2. Why doesn't more towns have a cool park like this in the center of them? Rams Hill Golf Club, originally designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio, underwent extensive renovations in 2014 after being closed for years due to the 2009 financial crisis. The modernized facility now operates as a sustainable venue powered by solar energy and bio-retention basins. It has garnered international acclaim and was ranked among the top 25 courses by Golf Advisor and TripAdvisor.
This was my second time at Rams Hill Golf Club and absolutely love it every time I go! Course was in great condition, workers are super friendly and the it's one of my favorite courses to play! Attached are a ton of photos I took of the course. Would highly recommend anyone and everyone to come out and try Rams Hill - you won't be disappointed.

Such a pure experience! Course is kept in fantastic condition, nice GPS carts that are stocked with ice and waters, Pro V1s on the driving range, delicious complimentary tacos at the turn and a warm cookie after finishing your round… what’s not to love about this place?! Every member of the staff at Rams Hill was also incredibly friendly - I will definitely be coming back!
Drew — Google review
This is one of the most spectacular courses I have played, from arrival to completion it is a first-class experience. Being greeted and set up on a cart right when you show up, the pro shop is nicely stocked with just about anything you could need, and everyone is very helpful. The driving range is stocked with Titleist Pro V’s, has club washing stations, and a few range finders to find the yardage of the many targets to aim at. Course conditions were superb, the ground is firm, so the greens don’t seem to get torn up by ball marks, making them flawless, but fast and very undulating. The scenery is beautiful and vast, I was fortunate to play 2 days with day 1 bringing 30-40 mph winds, but almost completely calm the next day, I guess you never know what you are going to get. This course is something special, even more so for me because I got a hole in one on hole #10! Shout out to the Head Pro Bob for sending me my hole in 1 flag, Ben in the pro shop, and Blanca in the Ram shack

Beautiful weather and great conditions today. We started with a great breakfast on the picturesque patio after driving from LA. The shop, staff, and starter were friendly and helpful. We started around 9:50 and the pace moved along nicely with some fantastic tacos at the turn. I highly recommend making the drive to play this gem. The greens were running quick as well has the fairways.

First class experience. Amazing layout, and the conditions after redoing the fairways and greens a couple years ago are immaculate. Greens were smooth, running at about an 11, no bumps. Fairway and Rough was great. The service is excellent, the clubhouse is great, the service is great. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

One of my bucket list courses to play here in California. Course is in immaculate condition from tee box all the way to the green. We came here to celebrate 4th of July early as we are all Veterans. Great job to all the grounds keeper and staff. Even though it was kinda warm we still manage to play ok. A very challenging course if its your first time but well worth it. All the staff from bag drop, pro shop, marshal, snack bar, and their restaurant treated us with respect and are very friendly. It was a hot day, they give you at the start 2 waters in a cooler with ice. Then there are water stations every 3rd or 4th hole i think. But the marshal also gave us extra water, a electrolite packet and some frozen grapes. Hydrate baby lol. At the snack bar they even had free shaved ice to cool you down. Thank you Rams Hill GC for the great experience you all impressed us. Till next time, we will be back.

4.5/5 (10/19/24) - Great round! This place is gorgeous and absolutely worth the trek. Conditions are excellent, pace of play was great, and the course layout and scenery is beautiful. They even let you play for free on your birthday, i'll be back next year for that free round. Price was slightly steep but understandable for how nice the facility. My only surprise and recommendation was a cart lady or some sort of snack bar before you head out. We had a group of 4 on a warm early afternoon and was looking to get food and snacks on the way out but had to wait until 12 which was a bummer. But hey, 2 free tacos we a nice touch for sure!

LUNCH WITH A VIEW!!!!! We decided to enjoy a nice Sunday luncheon with friends at the Rams Hill Golf Club Restaurant in Borrego Springs. Don't let the generic name scare you---not only is the BEAUTIFUL outdoor seating a major draw but the menu gives you over 4 pages of choices so even the most finickiest of eaters (including the kiddos) will find something to make them happy. The service was fast and super efficient. We started with a Chips and 3 assorted Sauces as a appetizer that included home made Guacamole, Pico de Gallo and a nice spicy salsa. The portion was HUGE so even with the 5 of us eating we had enough chips and sauces to start our meal. Our table had fish tacos, tuna melt, pizzas as well as cheeseburger and fries. Everything was hot, made to order and were generous portions. After the meal we had a lovely stroll through the back gardens watched some golfers while enjoying the lovely view then had a good laugh as we played some corn hole. This is a lovely destination for a nice meal while enjoying a scenic drive only 90 minutes from Palm Desert.

Visitors can explore nearby trails like Gas Domes Trail and Pumpkin Patch Trail before enjoying the sand dunes in the area. The sculptures are free to visit and are a testament to the artists' creativity.
These sculpture (now 130 spread around the area surrounding Borrego Springs) are fun, whimsical and add a lot of interest to surrounding landscape and views. Easy to access, just drive slowly in sandy roads.

Beautiful sculpture and a perfect backdrop for some astrophotography.
TheDoRanger — Google review
This is the coolest metal sculpture in Galleta Meadows, Borrego Springs. You can access it by parking on the road. This is one of the most popular sculptures in the desert. It is great for both sunrise and sunset photography. It is best to go to visit them between November and April. The summers are very hot and the steels can get hot to the touch.
Greg K — Google review
An excellent display of sculpture art. There are maybe fifty displays in the area... The serpent is the largest. Give yourself an hour to explore.
E&C C — Google review
The sculptures, and specifically the serpent, were definitely worth the drive from San Diego. We had such a fun time crawling around the various sculptures and attempting to see all of them. We wore ourselves out and then had pie in Julian to look forward to. I strongly recommend reading up on the sculptor. He was a construction worker by trade and has an interesting store.
Margaret R — Google review
Nice place to visit during the day or at night.
JJ W — Google review
The serpent is a beautiful art installation. Great for photos, best at sunrise for the light and the fewest visitors walking around. It’s a little challenging to keep your shadow out of the picture.
Holger S — Google review
This is an incredibly beautiful place to visit! I love how otherworldly it feels! It’s very peaceful and relaxing. The big dragon does get crowded so I recommend starting with the smaller sculptures because you may have to wait to snap a dope photo. I try try to go around the beginning of sunset for optimal lighting and also less people!

Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is a massive wilderness area that boasts an abundance of hiking trails, wildflowers, trees, shrubs, and cacti. It's considered one of the richest natural-history museums in the nation and features stunning desert vistas that are unmatched in their privacy and beauty. Camping opportunities abound for those seeking a more secluded experience, with plenty of space to explore off the beaten path.
A very well maintained sprawling state park with tons of beautiful trails and serene desert campsites and well maintained bathrooms and a gorgeous visitor center! Be aware that most if not all trails from what I can tell do not allow dogs, even on leashes

Really stunning area with lots to explore. We focused on the sculptures during our visit, spent hours but still didn't explore all! Will be back for sure.

This place is one of my favorite places in California because of the amazing hike into the canyon. I love the dinosaurs nearby and the town feels like it was frozen in time. Very much old California and the Wild West. Plus you have the mountains that are snowcapped in the winter about half an hour away and the beach 2 hours away. Beautiful place to explore the desert and see wild sheep (borregos) if you are lucky! 🐏
Maymie N — Google review
It’s an amazing desert, I really loved to be there and enjoy it with a Jeep Wrangler, it was an amazing experience to which I often think. I wish I could go back there one day🧡
Raoul — Google review
We had an amazing visit! We went early spring and several things were blooming. The stars were wonderful. The hiking was great. Especially the Palm Canyon trail! The oasis is amazing and some bighorn sheep came close to the trail. The welcome center is nice and the volunteers there are incredibly helpful. One of the naturalists (Ms. Bussey I think, sorry if that's wrong) helped us decided between two trail and her advice was so valuable.
Amanda G — Google review
This is an incredible desert park and is a gift that keeps on giving. Plenty of off roading, primitive camping, a great visitor center and a genuinely welcoming town. The desert is beautiful 365 days a year but always pay attention to the weather and park rangers’ advice!
Lynnann M — Google review
Huge area to spread out in, great hiking trails for all abilities, a few cool towns to shop and resupply...mostly great campers from all over the country. Camp grounds were loud with the "city folk" on the weekends but boondocking is better as long as we all respect the minimal rules. Thank you CA parks!
Michael M — Google review
Visited the park on a weekday in November when the visitor center was open, the weather was perfect for hiking, and the crowds were somewhere else. The wildflowers were long gone, and the bighorn sheep were hiding. But the trails were well marked, clean, uncrowded and a joy to hike...

Hiking Trails
Getting there is part of the adventure—it’s an approximately 1.5-mile drive on a sandy wash to reach the trailhead. The sand is quite deep in some areas, so all-wheel drive is highly recommended to navigate the route safely. Walking through the narrow, winding slot canyon was like stepping into another world. Especially at 3 pm when the sun was casting so many shadows. The hike to the end of the canyon and back took about 1.5 hours round trip, and the stunning rock formations and unique landscape kept me mesmerized the entire way. The photos do not do it justice! While dogs aren’t allowed, Richard, my service animal, accompanied me and handled the trail like a pro. I’m especially glad I did this hike in January, when the desert temperatures were mild and the snakes were safely hibernating—a perfect time to explore this iconic trail. The tight passageways, towering sandstone walls, and natural beauty make this a must-do adventure for anyone visiting the park. It’s a moderate hike that rewards you with breathtaking scenery and a sense of wonder. Highly recommended for an off-the-beaten-path experience!
Kytka — Google review
This is a perfect hike for beginners, and one of a kind as well! I highly recommend this trail especially if you have never had the experience of hiking through a slot canyon. Beautiful rock formations to enjoy, and lots of off the trail paths to explore as well. Great photos place to enjoy a scenic sunset or sunrise. Its best to go during those times, to avoid getting heat exhaustion. That being said, bring plenty of water, and some food to enjoy while enjoying the scenery. Perfect place to visit for a short weekend getaway and explore interesting geological formations!
Nikhil K — Google review
One of the easiest and best hikes in the park! If you want to do a hike in the middle of the day, most of the other trails would be too hot and have little shade. Not the Slot though. It was nice and shaded, and relatively easy for most people. Highly recommend if you want a short trail in the park, but still want an amazing experience. Note, after you see the arch in the Slot, turn back if you are short on time. Not much past that. You can also do the loop, but not recommended due to lack of shade.
TheDoRanger — Google review
Slot Canyon Trail is incredible but not a super novice hiking trail, there isn’t a whole lot of elevation changes but the canyon can get quite narrow so visitors will need a base level of nimble-ness. It’s a stunningly beautiful site though! It feels very otherworldly, a stark and haunting beauty. There are vault toilets at the parking area at the end of a graded road that doesn’t require 4 wheel drive thankfully
Nash H — Google review
Trail Overview: Difficulty: Easy, but with some tricky spots in the slot (young kids will need help here). Terrain: Sandy, suitable for non-SUV vehicles. Wear shoes with good traction. Dogs: Not allowed on the trail. Water: Bring extra water, even though it’s a short hike. Directions: From Hwy 78 east, turn left onto Buttes Pass Road. Continue for 1 mile to a "Y" intersection. Stay left. Drive 0.8 miles until the road sharply turns left; the parking lot will be there. Parking fee: $10 per car (cash only).
Linda L — Google review
Great hike in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. November weather was perfect. Took one hour to do the loop taking our time.
Llonyort — Google review
It is an easy two-wheel drive road to the trailhead. There is a fee required of $10 per vehicle. Bathrooms, get your bottles of water ready, and a nice one and a half mile hike to the end of the trail. If you go a little further past the canyon there are some really cool wind caves, wind formations that you can hike up to and check out do not bring dogs on the trail, make sure that you are physically capable of a couple of medium to difficult drop offs other than that it's super easy children and seniors can do it just fine
Columbia G — Google review
This place was awesome!! Not a difficult high (only if person is really overweight might have difficulty going through the really narrow trail part) we when at 4pm and it was perfect. Enough shade in 80% of hike/walk.

The Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area is an expansive desert location ideal for off-road exploration. The park is equipped with campsites and a helpful Ranger station that provides information, maps, and tips for fun trails.
Wow.. what a great way the state has spent a few bucks. Bathroom and facilities were in good working order.

We've been coming here for years! It's always a great place to ride quads or side by sides. There's always places to explore here like the pumpkin patch, shell reef and the fish wash, to name a few. Yes the rangers here can be hard on you but as long as you have your OHV's up to date on registration, have a whip on each of your OHV's and ride with your helmet on at all times, you should be fine.

The peg leg Smith historical marker is a museum that I camped at for a weekend. The atmosphere was tranquil and calm, as there were strict rules prohibiting the use of ATVs in the area.
Found this primitive Campground sight only after pulling up to the Borrego Palm Canyon Campground asking for advice on somewhere to Tent Camp for the night which also happened to be our first camping experience as a family. The ladies there ( i believe one was fairly new employee and the other (Nicky? I want to say...not 100% sure but she had an amazing bubbly personality and gave us the best advice and places to visit as it happened to be borregos anniversary. Overall amazing memories and all thanks to the amazing Rangers.

This is a Great Boondocking Campsite with plenty of room for parking semi-private DRY Camping. No water or dump facilities. There is a pit toilet that is maintained by the California State Parks Dept. The hiking of Coyote Mountain is fun, and the trails are well worn trails. Winter time is the best time to be here. You are limited to 30 calendar days of stay per year by California statues. The parking is unlevel and rocky in places.

Did not find Peg-Legs gold. Followed the trail about 2 miles up to one of the mountain peaks to watch the sunset and had the brightness of the full moon to light our path walking down. Added 10 rocks to the pile in respects to Peg-leg.

Nice boondocking spot. Like most of this part of the desert, insane winds at night. No services of any kind, save for decent Verizon lte

Nice little random spot with some fun little history! On of the more fun parts about coming is the tradition of bringing 10 rocks with you to leave in the rock pile. If you go, I highly recommend bringing your 10 rocks with you instead of looking around there for some to add to the pile.

At the end of the airport road and pretty hidden. The marker was all right but there were few things around that explained his life experiences. When I read that he had stolen Indian children and sold them that kind of turned me off. He was a very colorful person that's for sure.

The Borrego Springs Desert Garden is a pleasant and compact garden that showcases the native flora of the area. It provides an opportunity to familiarize oneself with the names of local plants in just a short 20-minute visit. Unlike the gardens at Anza-Borrega visitor's center, this botanical garden is free of charge. It boasts an impressive collection of desert plants, including various types of cacti, all neatly labeled for easy identification.
An out of the way botanic garden near Christmas Circle. Many interesting desert plants including an Orchid Tree. Informational sign provide some education. Hours are sunrise to sunset.

Hiking area
The Mine Wash hiking area offers a pleasant desert experience, albeit with occasional strong winds and cold nights. The sturdy tent provided reliable shelter, ensuring a comfortable stay. Nighttime in this remote location is pitch black, necessitating the use of flashlights with spare batteries. Unfortunately, there is no phone service available here, so it's advisable to equip oneself with satellite phones or watches for communication purposes. Dogs can roam freely off leash in this area, adding to their enjoyment.
One of my favorite camping spots. If you bring firewood, don’t leave it, take it back out with you, and bring your own fire pit. Open fires are not allowed. Respect the rules of the site and don’t be that person that ruins it for the rest of us.
Juan O — Google review
Mine Wash is a cool place to off-road and about two miles down the dirt road is the Kumeyaay Historic Village Site. There a few larger rocks you can climb for a view, some trees, and some historic evidence of those that lived here in the past. Worth a short detour off the main road for the scenery of the desert.
Brendan K — Google review
This desert was really nice, it did get very windy and cold at night but the tent we bought really held it’s ground. It’s pitch black at night so make sure you bring flashlights with extra batteries. The only downfall was literally no phone service at all. So get yourself those satellite phones or watches. Our dogs enjoyed the scene and had the freedom of being off leash. The night sky was extremely amazing because you can see a sky full of stars and it’s soo close to you. I was amaze by the amount of stars we actually have in the sky.

The Anza-Borrego Foundation - State Park Store serves as a valuable resource for visitors to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. It offers maps, guidebooks, and a variety of souvenirs. The knowledgeable staff provides helpful information about the park and local events such as hiking activities. The store is an excellent starting point for exploring the rugged beauty of Anza-Borrego, especially during late winter mornings when the desert comes alive with blossoming flowers after the rains.
Cute little store with a ton of info about the surrounding area. The lady here was very helpful and gave us some free maps and brochures.

I visited this small store looking for some nice souvenirs while staying at the park. When my family and I entered the store, there were some ladies having a conversation that quickly turned racist and demeaning towards people of color. I truly believe in free speech and support it but, having to experience the shop employee entertain and engage in such a conversation that spewed hatred towards outsiders and tourists, made me very angry. It is the tourists that keep the park alive as well as the store. It is the indigenous people that preserved the area for a millennia, shed blood sweat and tears so that you could have some culture and artifacts to marvel at. Let's be a little mindful of what is presented in front of the general public and keep hate speech out of a tourist store, especially when you have persons with family visiting.

Park
Borrego Springs County Park is a newly developed park that offers a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages. The park features amenities such as tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, exercise equipment, shaded playground areas, picnic spots, and walking paths leading to the new sheriff's department and library. One of the most popular areas in the park is the dog park, making it an ideal spot for pet owners.
The park hours are Sunrise to Sunset 7 days a week. This park is for Day Use Only. It is free. There is no camping. There is no overnight parking. The dogpark has an area for small dogs and an area for large dogs. The closest parking lot for the dogpark is the southern most lot, and not attached to the sheriffs substation., and not across from the library. The tennis court also has pickle ball nets. The Bocceball court is next to the tennis court. The basketball and volleyball court are also closest to the south parking lot. The playground and fitness area are closest the sheriffs substation parking lot. The playground has one bbq grill, and the picnic sunshaded areas adjacent to the basketball court have more bbq grills. Remember to clean the grill when finished for the next person, a hot ash/coals receptacles/s is provided. Never put the ashes or coals in the trash. The dogpark, playground, and amphitheatre area each have one trash and one recycle can for your inside the park generated solid waste. The County has posted signs and has fined people who were caught illegally disposing of their own outside the park garbage. If you think you may generate a lot of garbage (ex. a Bday party) you can contact the on site Park Host who can assist with access to a dumpster. The Park Host is located at the south end of the Sheriffs sunstation parking lot in a gated area next to the dumpster enclosure. The Park Host is a Volunteer and has limited hours and days of availabilty, but is usually always accessible for help. Call the Ranger Station in Santa Isabel Nature Center if no one is available. The amphitheatre is closest to the western parking lot. It can be reserved, and if so the power is turned on for your reserved time slot. It can seat 100 people. Contact the Santa Isabel Ranger Station Nature Center or SD parks online to reserve. You can also talk to the Park Host. The park is relatively new, clean, and is a safe place to spend some time outdoors. It still has large areas that are not developed that the local desert wildlife still inhabits and enjoys. Avid bird watchers come here. There are the occasional coyotes and all the animals they prey upon. If you come, leave it better than you found it and enjoy! Hope this helps answer any of your questions.

The new Park is a great addition for our community. Well equipped with tennis courts, volley ball, basketball, exercise equipment, covered playground area, places to sit and enjoy a picnic with friends and family,, walk ways leading to the new sheriffs department and the new library. But the most used area that I go to, is the Dog Park! I have a fairly large dog and he looks forward to go to the dog park. The only possible thing I would think that park could definitely use...is some lighting till about 10pm. Because during summer time...we are all up a tad bit later due to the temperature being so much higher and sun down later.
