Museum is quite small, but very nice and inexpensive. Group it with a visit to the Audubon next door, and the Traveler's coffee house which is adjacent, for a full afternoon. The museum had plenty of parking and there is nearby walkable shops and restaurants. It felt clean, safe, and quaint.

Surprisingly good little museum, highlighting the biography and artistic eras of local artist Walter Anderson. It's interesting to see how many different style and media he explored, and the influences of both his life and historical art movements on his work, much of which is quite good.

We were recently in Ocean Springs for our daughter's wedding at a beautiful local venue The Jackson Pearl, and this museum was on their venue list of "must see" experiences that we shared with the entire family. Feeling very grateful we took their advice as it was a wonderful short and peaceful walk from our accommodations, and was an afternoon filled with beauty and history. We highly recommend taking time to visit this incredible Museum to anyone visiting the area. Make sure to add time in your planning to enjoy the surrounding gardens, shops and bistros. We walked down the street to their local beach afterwards and soaked in a paint worthy sunset.

This is a very nice and interesting art museum. They have room for the excellent permanent exhibit on the life and works of Walter Anderson and for temporary exhibits of the works of other artists. Anderson's life and works are fascinating and well captured here in a clean and beautiful setting. The murals and linoleum cuts were particularly noteworthy. We were there for a wedding (a very nice venue!), and the museum itself was a major (but fun) distraction. The art and artifacts are great for all ages. There are plenty of items kids can touch and a model of a home that is fascinating for children. There is also a separate room for hands-on art and activities.

The Walter Anderson Museum of Art is hands-down the coolest art attraction in all of Mississippi. While the state may not offer a ton, this place is a true gem. The art is vibrant, unique, and deeply connected to the local culture. If you're anywhere near Biloxi, this is a must-see stop. It’s worth going out of your way to experience this creative treasure.

A favorite place in Ocean Springs! Immerse yourself in the life, mind, and art of Walter Anderson, especially in the little room and the Community Center murals. Changing exhibits of other artists are always interesting, too! Staff is always friendly and the gift shop has something for everyone!

We had an amazingly peaceful time at WAM. Right next to the gift shop, you can enjoy a full length film from Mississippi Public Broadcasting, which sets the whimsical tone of the museum. For a man that traveled all over from New Orleans to China, he created uniquely distinct art.

My friends and I walked 1.5 miles to see the pottery. Upon arrival, and hearing that we had walked, we were offered water and a ride back to our Air B&B by Beth. The pottery is beautiful, and we selected a piece that will remind us of our visit to Ocean Springs and of Beth’s kindness.

What a wonderful place! It was a surprise find while visiting nearby Shearwater Park. The shop is tucked away down a very wooded road, which was a really pleasant drive. The pottery is unbelievably well-crafted, with so many beautiful and unique pieces. I was also happy to find several fine art prints. Although I didn't purchase anything on my visit, I will be back when I undertake some new decorating soon.

Visited with friends who are avid collectors. Been many times, always fun to see their work.

A great little art museum in the woods. Has a small ‘museum’ section of ceramics with a mix of local artists inspired by nature, similar to the inspirations of Walter Anderson. Husband found a simple screen print of his favorite Anderson art. I bought a few small pieces ($12 each) for myself and one kid. They have cards for sale as well. All reasonable in price. Staff was super nice and caring about our kids. The walkways are wide enough for a stroller and for little reaching arms.

Family run business with a wonderful history. Staff seemed preoccupied with other items and not open for questions. Products are limited & “as is”. Some questionably appropriate items as well.

I was in the Gulf area of Mississippi for work on my 50th birthday, and I was fortunate enough to have friends who wanted to take me out to dinner. I had no real opinions where we went so when we went to Vestige let me tell you I was beyond surprised and impressed. I’ve had a lot of good meals this one was a great meal. It is a tasting menu that changes with the seasons so with it being spring in Mississippi it has three flavors. In my opinion many tasting menus can be a bit disjointed and not have a flow to the dishes. That was not the case in my meal at Vestige it started and each dish kept building and building with different flavors and textures. One friend had an allergy that required some of the dishes to be altered to support them. Vestige did that without any issues or problems. What is even more impressed we called for reservations 45 minutes before we ate and they were able to alter the dishes. That shows the level of skill and attention to detail in my opinion. I also want to call out the service as well. The two waiters did an amazing job they acted as a team and provided excellent service with just the right amount of touch without being heavy handed in any way. If you’re going to be in the Mississippi Gulf Coast I would highly suggest Vestige and I’d definitely recommend a bit more than 45 minutes notice, but if you can get in try it and enjoy it!

Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. The restaurant is small, simple, and stunning, with a staff that was flawless—kind, professional, and perfectly attentive without ever missing a beat. The tasting menu was nothing short of spectacular. Each course kept building on the last, with flavors that were bold, balanced, and unlike anything we’ve tasted before. The venison, paired with an incredible sauce, was unforgettable, and the Okinawa black sugar crème brûlée was one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Unique ingredients we had never heard of were transformed into dishes that completely amazed us. A perfect meal in every sense—creative, delicious, and unforgettable. We can’t wait to return.

We were fortunate enough to grab a reservation for the Fantastic collab dinner w the dynamic duo of chefs Perry/Omori of Vestige OS and Chef Tyler of Mason! The amount of creatvity coming out of that kitchen last night was nothing short of incredible genius, delicious genius! We even got to meet Kumi Omori last night. Vestige is a true culinary experience. If you want to push your tastebuds to the edge this is the place. It will be an event you will never forget and you won’t be able to get enough. We are hooked. We are so fortunate to have Vestige in our backyard. No trips to Chicago for a culinary revolution or to New Orleans needed. Michelin Star restaurant quality! Top of the list for an amazing culinary experience.

Definitely one of a kind dining! The setting is unique and did not feel stuffy. The staff were personable and knowledgeable. Wide range of drinks. We love the Japanese influence. The first course was our favorite, the flavors were absolutely amazing. I also have to shoutout the grilled kabocha squash in the main dish, I am still dreaming about it! I was slightly disappointed in the dessert, as it was a little dry. But overall, this gem is a must try if you’re in the area!

Thank you Vestige Team for an incredible night. What an awesome treat on my wife’s birthday. It was worth driving an hour & 20 minutes. Every course is covered with layer over layer of umami explosion. The menu is thoroughly well planned and the cocktails is unbelievably good. It’s really a DEAL for 6 course tasting menu at only $99. We will definitely come back to bring more ppl in the future. Mike and Angie were awesome! They made us feel very special. Favorite cocktail was the flower to flower

We live right near this park and we love it. It's right on the beach and has a wonderful newly renovated playground, covered picnic area, nice grassy area to sit if you want to have a picnic or something. It also has restrooms. There is a little bitty fountain that kids can play in I wouldn't call it a Splash Pad but some people do. I think it's a little too small to be called a splash pad. But it's nice if the kids get hot playing on the playground they can go play in the little fountain. Very nice playground with really neat equipment

Great little park! The city has a lot of events at this location. They hosted a dj during the 4th of July and fireworks over the water. That was enjoyable. It is a fantastic place to sit and relax. Gorgeous views of the water and beach, and plenty of seagulls to entertain you. There is a small splash pad and play ground for the yungins.

The Fort features picnic areas, covered areas, a stage, restrooms, playground, small splash pad, beach access, parking, wood carvings and beautiful views of the Sound and Deer Island. You can also rent fire pits for a fun evening on the beach. The City of Ocean Springs really does a great maintaining this facility. On busy days, the restrooms are far from clean but it's a public beach park. No onsite staff.

It is a nice little park with bathroom and a picnic area. They have a playground for children. It is adjacent to a beautiful beach. Very picturesque and relaxing.

An awesome park right across from the beach. I went to the Fridays at Fort Maurepas event. The band Fever Dreams played and they were fantastic. It's a beautiful community park to that should be on your places to go.

This place is so serene! I love this place. It has a park for kids to play. A beautiful pier to walk on and take photos like myself. You can walk out to the water and enjoy the waves. Great place to come let all of your stress float away. Plenty of areas to park. Clean space as well!!!

This was my first time at Bright-Eyed Brew Co. I was looking for a good local coffee shop in Ocean Springs, and this place did not disappoint. The shop is very clean, the owner is incredibly friendly, and most importantly, the coffee is delicious. I got a vanilla iced cold brew, and it was excellent. I’d definitely recommend stopping by!

I stopped by this morning and was so impressed! The owner/barista was personable, friendly, and full of great energy. The coffee was excellent — smooth, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell there’s real consistency and pride in what they do. Definitely my new go-to spot!

This shop was my first stop in town, and after four months, it was my last stop in town. Every single drink I got over the four months was delicious! They have great syrups, great drip, fun speciality drinks, nitro cold brew, everything you could want from a local coffee shop, they deliver! The craft of coffee has been nailed down here, and above all, the staff is incredibly kind. Each time they greet you with a smile and work on your drink immediately. You feel cared for while you’re in this shop, and you receive great drinks that are intentionally crafted.

When we entered the coffee shop. I felt a friendly vibe that came over me instantly. Really beautiful and worm inside. They have merch inside to purchase. There is some seating inside and outside. This isn’t just a coffee shop, it’s the heartbeat of our community. It’s where neighbors gather, where orders are remembered, and where every visit feels like you’re part of something greater. We stop in nearly every morning and the coffee is always fantastic. Ryan and Katherine put so much love and care into what they do, and it shows. They roast their own beans and make them available to take home too. I keep their espresso stocked in my salon for guests, and they’ll gladly grind it for Keurig pods if you ask. It has become a staple for us. It’s more than a spot for great coffee, it’s a place that feels welcoming and genuine, every time. Whether you’re local or just visiting, it’s a must.

Fantastic coffee joint. I recently retired and moved to the area. This place has become my favorite. They serve the best iced latte I have ever had. I have the luxury of killing time in the outdoor seating area and have met some wonderful people in the process. It's a happy, cozy place.

These are The best people in Mississippi. We have never had a bad experience. The owners are so kind and have made it feel like our own local coffee shop while being on vacation. I wait all year for their chai! The trip from Houston is ALWAYS worth it for Bright Eye alone!

I came on a Saturday as I was in the area and feeling a tad peckish. I came in and everything just looked SO beautiful, I wanted one of everything! But, it was a bit out of my budget to do so, so I got a cherry turnover to have there, two cookies to go and an iced coffee. Everything was clean, the employees were very friendly.

I love love love this place. This is a must stop here moment. This place has so many desserts. My friend ordered some items for her daughter wedding. Everything was so good. Yummy. I highly recommend. The staff was friendly. Cute atmosphere.

Absolutely loved trying this place! It was mine&my daughters first time coming here and we weren't disappointed😄 The staff was so sweet, kind, and helpful when making my selection of pastries! I got the canolli, eclair, Red Velvet cake, Hazelnut Praline cake, Strawberry Bavarian cake, Vanilla Bean cheesecake, and the raspberry. They were all so delicious&great to try! Can't wait for our next visit to try their other goodies😊

I was searching for a small cheesecake or carrot cake for my girlfriends birthday. I walked in feeling out of place at first, only because I don't go to cafés often and they seem to be a very popular place to have small meetings or enjoy a quiet little date. That being said I felt very welcomed by the staff. We talked about the cakes and was hoping to get a recommendation but got the typical answer, "they're all good." This didn't help me so I bought 2 different cheese cakes and the carrot cake. She joked, "I'm sure she'd enjoy even if you just bought one." Turns out she was right... They were all good and for under $7 for each of these lovely little cakes, you can't go wrong.

Our new Favorite dessert spot. Everything is so reasonably priced, "below what I expected", and so delicious. The Owner is super Friendly and made our family visit memorable.

The kid was begging for chocolate cake and we searched low and high and then decided to drive here. I've been here before but its a first for him. He eye-balled this amazing "banana!" It was for sure delicious. Very creative. We did grab c.c. too. I'd try something different next time however. We played a game of checkers and very much appreciated the time there.

Stopped by for a birthday cake idea. Loved everything we got. The lemon pastry was one of the best desserts I have ever had.

We were there on a busy Saturday. While there were only two servers, they did quite well to keep up. The food was beyond delicious. Fresh, delightful mix of flavors. The only real issue was at two outside tables. They are situated close to a drain in the patio. A sewer smell emanated the area, making those two tables undesirable. Otherwise the outdoor dining was very comfortable and pleasant.

Fabulous to eat outside! 3 different locations to eat outside! Billy was a fantastic waiter! The food came out quickly and was amazing! Inside was loud but outside was so romantic!

Wow!! This place is amazing! We did not have reservations and came in at 4:15. We got a table close to the door that was available for a couple hours. Happy hour is until six and has two dollars off alcohol and appetizers.We had The pork chops and the hanger steak. Goat cheese torque for an appetizer. It was the most unforgettable experience. Staff were very personable and made our evening a very positive experience. I had the grilled salmon and my date had the veal. Both were very good but we both could have passed on the asparagus. Very tiny stalks that were overpowered by the balsamic sauce. Apparently the white chocolate bread pudding was exceptional, I was only allowed one bite!! Last visit to Ocean Springs, we ate lunch on the outdoor patio. Can't remember what we ate, but were impressed enough to come this trip for dinner.

Our dinner tonight on Halloween was wonderful. Steaks and fish perfectly cooked and favorable. Our server Arthur was attentive and friendly. Other staff also very good. A delightful evening. Goat cheese torte, cous cous and deserts so tasty!

I checked out Madison De Lu in Ocean Springs for lunch with a group of coworkers. Great place for lunch or dinner!!! The food came out quick and it was top quality. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Our group of 4 visited for our first, and most definitely NOT our last, dining experience! The food, outdoor courtyard, service, Southern Hospitality, wine selection and location are brilliant! The absolute BEST dining experience on the Gulf Coast! If you are not dining here, you’ve made a huge mistake! Impeccable experience!!!! Looking forward to our next dinner.

Fantastic tour, Jeff did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the house, it’s many trials during the years and it’s rightful place in American Architecture. The beautifully restored interior and exterior, including the period appropriate gardens are a must see in the lovely area of Ocean Springs. Plenty of places to dine and shop nearby too.

I was watching a documentary on Netflix about Frank Lloyd Wright and remembered I HAD BEEN IN ONE OF HIS DESIGNS. When Katrina hit, a group of 4 from our church (New Life Church in Brighton TN) drove down with chainsaws, plastic trash bags, tarps, water and food to cook for the hardest hit and ended up in the driveway of the house to the west. We setup camp and started cooking. We drove around cutting up fallen trees and clearing access for people and feeding the neighborhood but this was our camp. I remember we pulled a sunfish sailboat out of a tree next to the garage/shed in the back. It was 10 feet high easy. After we got it down, someone that was either overseeing the home or the owner at the time walked us through it and told us of the significance of it. They were super nice and appreciative wish I had taken pictures or could remember names. I do remember them complaining that their insurance was arguing trying to say it was storm surge and not hurricane damage to get out of paying for it. Odd what you remember. All I can say is you should have seen it that day. Ya'll did a great job bringing it back.

We called and arramged a tour. From the time we arrived and meet our guide to the end we learned about the house, the people who designed it.. lived in it and then later put it back together after Hurricane Katrina. Jeff Rosenberg Is a great story teller...charming...delightful..knowledgeable one of a handful of excellent tour guides we have meet in our travels. My husband usually waits out side when ever I go on a house tour but not this time he was intrigued right from the start. I do need to warn you it takes them a couple of days to call you back. If you go with out calling and and arranging a tour the gate is locked and no one is there...So make that call I am sure you will enjoy the tour..as much as we did.

Definitely worth making an appointment and visiting this historic home!

It is absolutely sad when a store owner's "regular customers" watch how they treat out of town customers and feel compelled to stop the customer outside and apologize for the owner's behavior, so I know I wasn't the only one who found this a disappointing interaction. I had been to this store this Summer. I actually drove 3 hours out of my way this week (some three months later) to purchase pottery pieces for corporate Christmas gifts. When I arrived, the owner was chatting with locals about the weekend car show. I was making some selections but, as can happen, needed to use the ladies room. I politely asked and explained I had driven several hours to get there to shop at her store. She told me she did not have a restroom and told me I could go to French Kiss Pastries or walk a block to the Welcome Center, where she said there were "public restrooms"...please note the plural. I would NEVER walk into a random business ONLY to use their restroom (seems she was ok with sending me to someone else's business, but NOT let THEIR actual customer use theirs...). I walked to the Welcome Center....WHERE THEY HAVE ONE RESTROOM shared by men and women. As I returned to buy from the store next door instead (a far better experience!!), the two local customers stopped me on the street and apologized for her rudeness and told me she had two restrooms, and she does let people use them. I did return, asked for her business card, and let her know that I found that one "public restroom"... and that her regulars were embarrassed by how she treated me (I'm a senior...and I have difficulty walking long distances). I'm sure she would have gladly taken my money as she did the last time...but know that customers are not "good enough" to use their facilities. Including photo of the store exterior and business card...

My friend and I drove in from Louisiana and wanted a quick bite to eat and have 2 rounds of cocktails. We ordered 2 appetizer. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which as very delicious and the Argentinian empanadas and they were interestingly tasty. I ordered as my cocktail 2 espresso martinis and my friend ordered 2 pink lemon drop martinis. We enjoyed out drinks. We both left with big smiles on our face. Our server was friendly and delightful. The ambiance was a laid back chill vibe. I highly recommend.

Food sucked. Ordered guacamole as a starter. As you can see in the pic, it was turning brown and watery. Plus, it seemed like it came out of a tub of premade. The chips were also stale. Server was nice but it was hard to get things ordered. We didn’t want to test the waters with anything else. Extremely loud outside from the live music that seemed to be on level 12.

We sat at the bar for lunch and watched our bartender work her butt off. The drinks were just ok, no measuring was done so they were not balanced. The Cuban was good but a little dry and the sweet potato fries were cold. The pimento cheese smash burger was excellent.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Mosaics Restaurant in Ocean Springs! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — a perfect mix of coastal charm and modern flair. Our server, Addison, was phenomenal! She was attentive without being overbearing, knew the menu inside and out, and made excellent recommendations. Her upbeat personality and genuine friendliness really elevated our dining experience. At the bar, Christina was equally amazing. She crafted some of the best cocktails we’ve had in Ocean Springs — perfectly balanced, creative, and beautifully presented. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows in every drink she pours. The food was delicious across the board — fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail, from the plating to the service, reflected a team that truly cares about their guests. If you’re in Ocean Springs and looking for a spot that combines great food, top-notch drinks, and exceptional service, Mosaics should be at the top of your list. I had such a wonderful dining experience thanks to our server, Addi. From the moment we were seated, Addi made us feel completely taken care of — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They anticipated everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Addi knew the menu inside and out, offering great recommendations that turned out to be absolutely delicious. Drinks were always topped off, courses were timed perfectly, and every interaction was upbeat and professional. You can tell Addi truly cares about making guests feel welcome and ensuring everything goes smoothly. It’s rare to find service and food this consistently excellent — Addi really elevated the whole experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for her by name!

Well I've been here a few times and this day I decided to try the shrimp fettuccine. I have to say it wasn't as flavorful as I'd hoped. I was expecting better seasoning for the prices paid. However , it did come with an acceptable amount of shrimp. I was expecting maybe 5-6 shrimp but had at least 9 shrimp included. The service was not the greatest, our waiter was not present except for the drinks upon sitting and to bring the check. Another server actually delivered the food to our table. As for as the atmosphere, it was a nice environment with good live music entertaining all guests. All in all I will come back in the future but this may not be my first option. Hope this helps anyone who's been looking for somewhere to have a bite !

I had such an amazing experience at Mosaics! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was warm and stylish — you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail, just like the beautiful dishes they serve. Our server, Addison, was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, attentive, witty, and genuinely passionate about the menu — she made great recommendations and checked in just the right amount. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, but Addison nailed it. The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and creativity in every bite. Whether it’s a casual night out or a special occasion, Mosaics is the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. Saw this place on social media and had to try it. I had the Pina Cola pop and I enjoyed it.

The kids said this was their favorite part of our trip! They love going out for ice cream, and this was a fun way to change it up! We enjoyed the visit from the rooster too!

Absolutely delicious and refreshing on a hot day! We got the virgin pina colada and strawberry lemonade. Both were delicious.

So flavorful! And so many to choose from: fruity, creamy, and indulgent. The proprietor will tell you how they use real ingredients. We had the watermelon lime (refreshing!) and brownie (caramely and rich!) Nice treat and fair price. *rooster companion optional

The fruit pops are very bitter and somehow salty in a way? Green apple and watermelon were inedible.

After eating my weight in street tacos across the street an acquaintance and I dropped by to soothe the burn with a popsicle. The only problem you will have here is making a decision as the menu is quite extensive.

Pop Brothers is a place we always look for on a trip to the Gulf Coast. Tasty cold treat break from the warm day. We’ve been to the Pop Brothers in Ocean Springs and in Gulfport. If you’re needing a good tasty popsicle, get a Pop Brothers.

Sadly, we only got to experience this beach during a storm. However it looked so nice and tranquil. I would definitely like to visit again.

Only a 5 minute drive from Davis Bayou Campground, this beach is dog friendly with excellent views of Biloxi, MS, a relaxed list of rules, and trees for shade, if desired. @followthedingo

Ocean Springs: Rest and relaxation, beautiful sandy beach ⛱️, stunning beachfront homes, quaint town with a cool bar and grill named Knuckleheads (A must-see for yourself). As for the ocean, the saying, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder comes to mind. Yes, the water is clean, but it is a bit brownish (for a valid reason). The bonus is the casinos 🎰 in Biloxi are nearby. Overall, a wonderful place to visit.

Rented a cottage in ocean springs within walking distance and spent several days at the beach. Kids had a great time, people were very friendly, had a small town feel, and felt very safe. The water isn’t crystal clear but in my opinion the lack of crowds and small town feel is a lot better than many vacation beaches further east.

I've been coming here to run pretty often, but may have to find somewhere else for 2 reasons. 1. People who bring their dogs don't train them well or socialize them before going out in public. I've had 2 incidents where a dog has tried to bite me while jogging past them 2. Everyone and their mother walks 4 abreast on the sidewalk Other than that, it's a great beach area. Just beware of the drunk golf cart drivers, the arts district in OS is an open container area so it can get rowdy.

Very clean, easily accessable beach. Beautiful sunset. The people are friendly. I enjoy seeing dogs and there were quite a few being walked. Temperatures were so nice for this time of year. I went in the evening. Saw a stunning sunset. As the light faded, a drum circle had started at one end, while there was a small group playing country music on a very nice outdoor speaker setup on the other end. People of all ages were out enjoying themselves. For such a nice beach it wasnt overcrowded at all. Some young people approaching me as i was taking photos even stopped as to not interrupt. Such a pleasant experience that we will be returning there in the morning.

Nice well kept beach. Family friendly, plenty of space in march to spread out. Street parking and bathrooms nearby. Park nearby. We really enjoyed it.

Nice walking trail surprisingly close to one of the main streets in Ocean Springs. It's really short, no need to prepare for an actual hike. The path in some areas feels more like a suggestion than a path, but due to the size you can't really get lost.

This is a very beautiful place! It was a leisurely 30 minute trail though it took us a minute to find the small sign marking it. The trail isn't always clearly defined but I liked that about it. Very rustic and charming. We didn't know where to park and many reviews have said the same thing. My advice is to stay on the gravel drive and park in the cleared off area in front of the gate! Go out and enjoy this hidden gem on a sunny day!

This was a very enjoyable short walk. Definitely more of a nature walk than a hike. The trail is short and easy and pretty easy to follow. Great views of the oak trees which are quite majestic. Also a nice view of the bayou with a bench. There was a stray cat who accompanied us on our hike from a distance like a little chaperone to keep an eye out for the park.

Beautiful hike tucked away in the middle of town! We enjoyed a nice walk through the trees and next to the Bayou. The views are awesome, and as you approach the bayou the sounds of the nearby traffic fade. I highly recommend this scenic trail for a place to unwind and enjoy the day.

By far one of the most magical places in Ocean Springs! The trees are astounding and so beautiful! The history is pretty cool as well. This is a hidden gem so -shhh! Let’s keep it the quiet and peaceful place it is! If you go please don’t trash it with picnic items and respect the natural beauty. **Photographers: if you do gender reveals here or “sparkle” poppers PLEASE pick up after yourself!! Always remember to leave no trace!

An absolutely magical place! We parked at the bank even though it said no parking and then walked down the gravel drive and around the gate. No idea where people are supposed to park. This trail is a little loop trail that would take no less than maybe 10min if you don’t stop and explore the nature around you but there’s SO much to explore! There’s a vista point overlooking the water but we didn’t see any gators. We did see a crab cross our path on the trail though but he was quick to burrow down. Also saw squirrels and a turtle. This is a beautiful peaceful place to stop and visit with the kids or family or just to get some quiet time to yourself.

This place is a short, sweet little gem! So pretty. There is no sign on Rt. 90, and my GPS didn’t take me to the trail head. Turn off 90 onto Hanley road at the corner where Bobby Tyson’s tire is.

Museum does a good job at covering local fishing and maritime history, did learn some interesting things. Enjoyed the room dedicated to Mississippi hurricanes. When you tour the local area, you can still see the many empty lots and signs dedicated to buildings that are now gone.

Love this museum- the location, the memorials, and the exhibits! Lovely staff. SO MUCH to see/view. I only had 2 hours to spend there but would definitely go back for another two or three hours to see more of their exhibits! Peaceful grounds close to the water; a perfect place for a quiet contemplation or respite from a busy (or very hot!, LOL) day.

What a fantastic museum. The history here is amazing.

What a great visit we had as a group of 48 people touring the deep south. I highly recommend a visit here! We had a guided tour an learned many things about the seafood industry, history and the rebuild of the museum itself after hurricane Catrina. It's beautiful inside, filled with lots of interesting items and we watched a movie as well. Gift shop is small but filled with lots of great items at decent prices. Thank you for accommodating our large group, it was a great visit!

They've got a great video about the devistation that Katrina did to the coast. It's long but what else do you have to do? It's made from. News clips from that time. Also the ships that are inside are amazing. The models are too.

If You're interested in history for the Gulf Coast and the seafood industry, this is the place to go. It's very clean and nicely done. Plenty of public parking maybe 100 yards from the entrance. Oh, if you're hungry after, there is the BEST BUFFET BY FAR right up the road inside the Palace Casino, see photo:). The attached brochure gives an overview of the Museum along with pricing. I went on a Monday and it was open even though the brochure shows closed. The entry door had it closed on Sunday but the brochure has it open, so maybe call 1st if going Sunday or Monday!!

The coffee shop-iest coffee shop in Ocean Spring. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff with a large menu selection of beverages and bites. Cozy interior with intimate patio seating outdoors. Great view of the vibrant downtown.

This place is totally hipster. That said; I’m into it! Good music and vibes. It’s a shame the staff is so unfriendly. Came here 2 days as it was the only coffee shop to hang while my child was at preschool. Food and coffee were decent. But that’s not enough. The staff made us feel like we were invading their space. Very unwelcoming.

This place is a whole vibe! Delicious coffee and other faboo drinks. Mood music and a social setting. Bring your computer and chill out for a while. Play games and relax.

Great hidden gem along government st in downtown Ocean Springs. Not only is it a coffee shop, it’s a full service bar, a brunch spot with delicious food and just an overall great chill spot. Future plans call for an expansion with a roof top bar. Can’t wait to go back and try something new.

Food and drinks were great. Atmosphere is what you'd expect for a small coffee/beer/food business. Only one table inside for a group of 4, more seating outside (but it was 🔥). There were couches and chairs for other patrons. There was a parking lot in the back, which was nice.

My wife and I ate here this morning. The mochas were delicious. We had some egg bites and a bagel sandwich. Both food items were hot and yummy

There was another review saying the staff were unfriendly and that the coffee was not good. The owner response was really nasty but we thought we would give this place a try in spite of the reviews. We love supporting local small businesses when we travel, especially coffee shops, and this is not a good coffee shop. The staff acted irritated when we walked in and I’m not even sure my drink had espresso in it, it tasted like chocolate milk.

incredible place! I had the milk tea with boba and it was the best i ever had. the brownie overload bingsu was such an incredible experience (it’s HUGE). I’ve never had anything like that before, but it just melts in your mouth, like fluffy chocolate snow. the brownies were especially good.

Nice thrift store with decent prices. I’ve been several times when we are in town and on some trips I’ve found a lot and other times just a few items but always had a good experience!

So much to see, browse and shop! I have saved BIG on clothing, shoes, and home decor items. A treasure hunt for sure!

I was there the other day and even though there was one cashier and a long line the cashier was friendly and patient. Eventually they did open up two more registers. Every time I go the employees are pleasant!

You can find decent used clothes and household goods at this location - low prices is what you will find. The store is organized.

High priced seller of Chinese products you have to know what you’re getting at Harbor freight the only single good thing about Harbor freight is the quality of the help. I shop there often, but I do realize that what I’m buying will not hold up to normal wear. And if you go in there with that knowledge, you will never go wrong.

Beautiful campground, with fairly level paved spaces for RVs, water and power. It’s surrounded by trees, and the Davis Bayou is right at your doorstep. Some sites are nice and large, others a bit smaller, so check the map prior to selecting one.

This is an excellent spot to relax and still be close to many areas including downtown Ocean Springs, Beach areas . We easily pedaled to all These locations with little effort . Smaller bath house for this size park but it was kept clean and had decent showers . It’s gated after dark and there is little to no vehicle traffic if you pick your spot accordingly . Hosts and rangers were very cordial and present , not sure what the other negative reviewers experienced but this was not our observation . Boat Ramp and canoe kayak launch easy accessible . Wish there was a park store on site for some keepsakes but ohh well .

It was a beautiful drive into this campground. Our RV site (35) was a little short and it’s not very private but it’s a beautiful area. We have great water pressure and electric service. We left our camper set up and drove into town close to the camper. The homes were beautiful and the neighborhoods were really kept up nice

This was our first time visiting this camp ground. Very impressed. The park rangers were present daily. The camp ground hosts were super nice, very polite and extremely helpful. I have a 41 foot fifth wheel and the sites that can fit my camper are limited but we were taken care of and everyone in the park was super nice. The only downfall of this campground is no golf cart but electric bikes are permitted. We rode our bikes to downtown Ocean Springs because it was close and had a great time shopping and listening to music. We will definitely be visiting this camp ground again.

Love the place! Lowest price anywhere for camping! Scenically beautiful and well maintained! Super peaceful campground. Be careful when choosing a site. Some have very short pads. The BIGGEST NEGATIVE is the strict rule against parking on the grass. You can't even be a little on the grass even when it's actually more gravel or dirt than grass.

In the off season this campground is ideal; very green, lots of vegetation, plenty of biking and walking opportunities and very close to shopping and dinning while still being away from it all. In the high season I would never come back to it. Some sites have the appropriate elbow room but way too many are incredibly close to your neighbors. So close that your RV is closer to your neighbor's cemented picnic table area than to your own. Also this campground tends to attract lots of large families who travel with other large families so it winds up being a very noisy environment. If you want peace and quiet stay away during the high season.

Beautiful campground. Beautiful park! Large and scenic with abundant wildlife. The camping spots are small and close together. Regarding the campground, I would also say that the Ranger on duty when we came in was really rude. Not what we’re used to when traveling! Regarding the broader park, the visitor center is definitely worth going to… Saw a great movie about the formation of the park and the islands… Rangers, there were incredibly helpful and informative. Give us great information on where we could see alligators and birds. Gave it four stars instead of five because of the difficulty getting into the small camping spots. This park is definitely worth a stop.

Unique and intimate venue with talented performers. I would visit this venue again. The show by candlelight was a wonderful experience and incorporating Adele songs was perfect. Thank you for an amazing night of entertainment.

We attended the Music Alive Ensemble concert on August 23rd. What a beautiful venue! The sound was superb! The building is an architectural gem! The staff is warm and welcoming. The concert was enjoyable in every aspect! What a lovely night!

Music was amazing and musicians were professional! Liked the idea with candles that created a magic and romantic atmosphere.Minuses: I missed a small cafeteria as in all European theaters where it is possible to buy a champagne,coffee,pastries and canape.Here they sell only soda,water and terrible low quality candies(???)..at the theater...?.Also my mood were screwed by people who came there in T-shirts and shorts/ jeans and sandals..wild and very unpresentable for such an event!!!!

The candlelight experience was great. We will definitely go back and see another one. It just would have been nice if they would have taken the pictures if they would’ve had the films ready, but besides that it was great.

I enjoy the Mary C in general. My daughter has performed here in dance on stage for a couple recitals, she's also attended social and emotional learning with Jessie and they have fun holiday events year round. My one complaint is the art teacher Danea for the children's art classes. She seems to have no knowledge on how to communicate with special needs children. My daughter is diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder - combined type, General Anxiety Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. She thrived in dance lessons and even thrives in jiu jitsu but I'm realizing now it is because those instructors are patient and calm and know how to instruct children with special needs, unlike Danea who ignored my child when she was asking for a tissue causing my child to panic and throw a marker and then when I arrived to pick her up and calm her down Danea scolded her right in front of me for not telling me about the marker she had thrown previously causing my daughter to drop to the ground panicking and crying all over again. Then tells me she just doesn't think this will work as if my child is the problem when she is the one who is uneducated. Anyone who knows anything about nuerodivergent children knows you're not supposed to scold them, it escalates behaviors and increases negative feelings like anxiety and stress, which can worsen their symptoms. You are supposed to use positive reinforcement, stay calm, and create consistent, clear expectations to build a stronger bond and help them learn. If you have a child with special needs, I do NOT recommend the art classes with Danea Brown.

The Fleetwood Mac music performed by a string quartet was a thoroughly enjoyable event. The musicians were excellent and the candlelit ambiance nice.

Beautiful gift shop located on a main street in Ocean Springs that has locally made works of art. Wide aisles to move around, well organized, friendly employees. I did not buy anything on my first visit here, but I will be back!

Husband and I came in looking like homeless people, after a long week of working on our Vacation Rental, we were looking for something specific. Found it! My new Least Tern painting! "Threes a Crowd" They treated us with respect and they were very helpful, offering coffee and water each time we came through the doors. Many blessing to you all.

I recently bought my sister for her BD a beautiful vase from here and like usual they sent it for me out of state. It arrived in tack, and beautiful and she loves it. My sister has a big beautiful house and is quite wealthy. She loves the things I get her from here. The sales people are always so nice too . My favorite place to shop in OS.

Wow!! Really amazing selection of prints made from Walter Andersons block prints. So many ways to get prints of his work. All kinds of things. Bookmarks, postcards, wallets, ties, pillows, phone cases, posters.... and then there are the prints themselves in all shapes and sizes. A must see place for any Walter Anderson fan.

If you want a Anderson print or poster large or small this is best place to go. The museum has good selection of smaller prints but this shop has a huge selection. Can be pricy

Always stop at Realizations when over in Ocean Springs. Great shop, ladies who work there are so helpful and dedicated to the artist and his works.

Although the print I wanted is out of stock they were quick to say that they could have more run the next time they needed to order and would let me know when it was ready. That was great, I was in no hurry. In less than a week I received a call that it was ready.i That's customer service.

Please try to become acquainted with Anderson's work before visiting Realizations. Look until you really see. Great customer service, love that is such a beautiful mom n pop shop, food is good 👍🏻 . Restrooms and restaurant was nice clean well kept . Has a nice view of the water.

Great atmosphere. Service was slow at first but once they took our drink orders everything else was quick. Catfish was very thin and had a lot of breading. The shrimp was better. Prices were kind of steep. Overall not sure if I will go back.

Great food at a good price. I had the catfish dinner and don't regret it. Wonderful southern hospitality. The tarter sauce is amazing and dill free.

We went for the all you can eat catfish, which my husband enjoyed. I am not able to eat as much so our server started me with a large order with the option to upgrade. There was too much for me to finish. The fries and coleslaw were irresistible. The fried catfish was delicious. A nice, relaxing dinner.

Nestled in a wooded area of the back bay with stunning views of it throughout the restaurant is what has to be one of the best local restaurants in the area. The home decor and southern charm add to the appeal. We were quickly seated and brought out the most delicious biscuits. The butter, jelly, and marmalade made for perfect toppings to them. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and ensured that our drinks were always filled before they were empty, we never had to ask for refills. The food was perfectly cooked and piping hot when it was delivered to the table. The chicken had amazing flavor and the perfect crunch to the breading! Those that had the shrimp were equally pleased with the portions and the flavor of the dish. Overall it was an incredibly delightful meal one which we won't soon forget. I can't wait to come back here again in the future.

Gumbo was best Hubs ever had. I ordered the fried catfish, was excellent! My son ordered the fried chicken....waaaay overcooked, but he enjoyed the biscuits. Turnip greens, okra, and fried pickles were amazing! The whole staff was super friendly and attentive, even though we arrived half an hour before closing time. (I just assumed they were open all day, didn't think to check the hours. Oops!) Overall, a neat place...felt like home 😀

1st- I do not doubt this place really could be a, "line-out-the-door" restaurant yet.... NO- 😥 perfect place but vibe was of being taken to the bank the whole time. "ALL YOU CAN EAT"= false/LIE and if you get a box to take your 2nd, 8 peices of shrimp to go home-It's considered, "Breaking the LAW! My mom needed a to-go box and without it being communicated, they took her plate and boxed it, & held at the cashier, hostage, which we didn't know about which is/was, absolutely ridiculous. IF you are charging somebody for 1.5 plates, and forbidding them to take home the 4 they can't eat, what happens?-! Tossed in trash? Naw..... You need to trust your customers. If, people want to take some in a purse home that they paid for, then let them. The $ you are saving is outbesting your performance due how you are treating those who keep you in business. There was no atmosphere except being watched like a hawk. Catfish is NOT the price online. That changed a long time ago. It's not 11. Or whatever for senior citizens. More like 17.95 and then those people are limited to 3 peices and one plate, tho listed under the, "All you can eat" umbrella. The CATFISH is filet....not a full fish. You can opt for fries or a sweet potato as sides. Suggestions are stop policing your customer base. Either get rid of the, "All you can eat lie" or sell less and refill plates as needed. If somebody is abusing it, put a stop to it, but this is riduncula. Your name will be known by the much more vast loyalty to those true admirers of the product, coupled with the service you offer! Prices need to be updated, and anything associated with bone-in catfish needs to be removed and clearly stated. As such, lowering your prices is in order. 13.95 and call it a day. There was no salad or baked potato option and you are charging as a restaurant that does. 2 options?!@&# 👎 no... Fix it or offer the place to an interested party to buy you out or something. The shrimp were tasty. The biscuit was nothing to write home about. My mom's fish were so tiny for 17.95 with fries....-(no salad option) 🥗 😢 Coleslaw was on the table. They would have tossed it too. The whole to-go-container fiasco was downright embarrassing. If one says they might need a to-go container it doesn't necessarily mean they don't want to munch on another luke-warm French-fry While you get the container. Instead, the process was, "Let me take it from you, to the back, (unbeknownst to me, to never been seen again), and finally finding it was up at the register. Huh?! 🤔 lower-class and that's probably how the business is running about right now. The waitress was nice. I paid for some real butter for the cold biscuit as I don't do vegetable spread. That, too, was like getting it from the black market....lol. 🤣 My dad said the fried chicken was done-up right. He was limited to 3 pcs. Under an, "All you can eat menu". We snuck out like bandits with a biscuit in each coat pocket, in a napkin- felt like, "BREAKING BAD"... 🤣 There was no nice, "Southern, Hey Ya'll, come on in" greeting. The hostess seemed bothered and so busy and had issues keeping up with her waitresses and tables and who was doing what when asked. (Perhaps get walkies?) Very little could be done to fix the mess made but a trust in your $ provider is needed. Even....IF you have instances of those wanting to abuse the policy, just your name would shine far above that mess and money would be waiting to pour in. You are also charged a 3% FEE for using Card services.... huh?! Lol. ¡Oy Vey! No.... Don't run it like the DMV.... come on #ThinkAboutIt- call chef Ramsey do something. Quite sad. This place is bleeding- somebody fix it before it dies!

I'd take a slow, early morning drive through Washington Ave (coffee optional) and then hit Front Beach Road. Take your time and settle in with a peaceful walk and/or book by the water. A jog over this bridge (at the end of Front Beach) brings you to the Golden Nugget Casino. Use the bathroom, play some slots or hit the tables and step back out to soak in some relaxation poolside before walking back. There's that nice seafood restaurant near where you parked your vehicle waiting for you when you get back. I wonder what you'll order😉.

This is as a fun attraction. Amazing views of the Biloxi Bay Area and the walk was refreshing. Loud traffic but earplugs or some nice noise canceling earbuds handle that well. On the Biloxi side we parked in the Golden Nugget parking lot. There are porta potties on the Ocean Sorings side. But the walk is about 3.5 miles total, so dress appropriately, wear a hat if it’s sunny, and a drink is appropriate.

No matter you are a local or a visitor. This bridge walkway will be your best workout place. Come at sunrise and sunset. You will also have the view while you walk, run, or ride bike over the bridge.

We went on the Alzheimer’s walk as our mom died at age 90 from this disease. Lots of people walked and gave $$ to help the fight against it. We walked in small groups to avoid covid. It was a lovely day and the kids all enjoyed the park.

Great place to fish! Come and check this place out in the morning or at night. Some nights we were there had a gentle breeze and serenity atmosphere. It has portable bathroom in the middle and the end of the bridge for your convenience. It’s not always the cleanest at a time, and trash can can be full for awhile.

Love this bridge! Fun to cross over with bikes. There’s a wide sidewalk parallel with the road with a cement wall separating the pedestrians from the cars, so it’s very safe. Beautiful plaques all along the walkway. The best thing is to park a little away from the Biloxi bridge and then ride your bikes over and into ocean springs and go along the beaches and then stop at tatonut donut shop in town. Then bike back and catch the sunset on top of the bridge. Super fun!

I ordered the Murky 'Mash Burger with a side of mac and cheese. The meal was hearty and decent overall, though I was expecting a bit more. The burger was fresh, but it could have used more seasoning, and the bun was a bit firm, almost as if it had been left out too long. The mac and cheese wasn’t quite to my taste, but I appreciated that they let me switch it out for fries instead. But I must say they do have some good drinks on there menu.

If you are looking for genuine smoked brisket and smoked burnt ends like you would get in Texas, delete your expectations. Hands down most disappointing restaurant with BBQ in the name across the US I've had so far. We ordered a 2-meat plate with sides and a burnt ends sandwich. Nothing burnt, end or BBQ 'd about it. Wasn't even grilled or had BBQ sauce either. Wings, brisket and burnt ends, all a let down if you are a foodie. Service wasnt great, place wasnt super clean but can all be overlooked for delicious smoked taste. Not the case here. Will not be back to give it another shot this time.

After living nearly a decade in Memphis, I didn’t expect to find BBQ that could rival it—until I tried Murky Waters BBQ in Ocean Springs. We've eaten there a couple times, authentic Southern BBQ that gives Memphis a run for its money. This time we had the BBQ nacho, wings, and the Cajun cubano!! OUTSTANDING!! Our server Keegan was great and very attentive to our needs!!!

We really enjoyed our Monday lunch. Had 6 wings w/out any sauce, and they were excellent. We split the Clarkesdale chopped sirloin sandwich and left full and satisfied. Service was prompt and friendly.

Order appetizer of smoked sausage, cheese, and fried onions. Tremendous amount of food. Sausage was good but not an overly smoked taste. More than enough for two people to eat.

Service was great and staff were attentive, but food was quite underwhelming- especially for the price. Pulled pork and burger were dry, so glad the BBQ sauce had a good taste, because I used quite a lot. Sides come in a very small bowl (almost a large condiment-sized serving). Beans were great, but macaroni and cheese was quite a miss (also a bit dry and the cheese wasn’t “cheesy”). Atmosphere was nice, but really matched most of other local restaurants’ decor- could use more personality. Overall, I’d give it a 3.5/10 for a BBQ joint.

First visit to establishment, while on vacation. Monday night at 5pm, young family of 4. We ordered the Crawfish dip to start. My kids said it was too spicy for them. The tortilla chips were overcooked or cooked in dirty oil as they tasted a bit burnt. We ordered the Catfish platter and fish platter. (Picture is a combo of both kinds of fish) both fish were bland and could use flavor. Fries were average and Ranch dressing was watery and below average. We also ordered a kids chicken tender meal, which was okay at best. For not being busy we had to seek out and ask for drink refills. However, the waitress was extremely kind and good with my kids. As for the atmosphere, it was fantastic. We sat outside in the covered seating. Plenty of fans and good music. Overall our food cost $65 and was very "mid". The fish platter was best "bang-for-buck" item.

Maggie was awesome!!! She gave great recommendations on food and drinks and we loved it.. my only con was that the blackened shrimp nachos were not blackened still good just not blackened as described on the wall menu. Loved the crab dip and will be returning for more of it. Thanks MAGGIE!!!

We found the Crawfish House online due to us wanting seafood. The food was absolutely amazing! We had everything from the crab, shrimp, oysters, and fish. It was all so good. The service was as good as we've ever had. We had one in our party of 12 that could not have gluten. The staff checked and rechecked to make sure they had plenty of options for her. We met the owner at the end of our meal and she was one of the most pleasant people you'll ever meet. I want to say thank you to the staff and the owner for taking care of our every need and making our stop a memorial one. If we ever make it back this direction, this will be our first stop! The only reason I'm leaving 5 stars is because it won't let me leave 10!

Her knowledge of the menu is spot on—she gave amazing recommendations, explained everything with patience and detail, and genuinely seemed excited for us to try her favorites. She has this incredible balance of professionalism and friendliness that makes you feel like you’re being taken care of by a close friend who also happens to be the best waitress in town. We stopped in at Crawfish House for lunch during Cruisin’ the Coast and it did not disappoint! The Cajun Reds were perfectly seasoned, the Dungy crab was fresh and flavorful, and the hushpuppies were some of the best we’ve ever had crispy outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. Our waitress Patty was absolutely awesome, friendly, fast, and made us feel right at home. Great food, great service, and a fun, laid-back atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town! 100% recommend if you are in Ocean Springs.

The food was great! The service and hospitality is really what made the choice to eat there soooooo worth it! The chef specially made my shrimp and grits and then came out and talked with us and made us feel like family. Our waitress Becca was so amazing and just very personable, kind, and went above and beyond. My husband made the comment that I’ll go there just to hang out with the staff because they instantly become friends/family. Can’t wait to try out the boil!

I went here with my wife for her birthday two weeks ago and the food was amazing and he service was even better, and the price for all of the above made the whole trip worth it. Here they offer all kinds of seafood, Po boys, pasta dishes, burgers, tons of appetizers, we got the bang bang shrimp, which was really good!

This is one of the best and most touching Vietnam era memorials I have seen. This is dedicated to Mississippi Vietnam Veterans but also honors veterans from other wars and Medal of Honor winners. A really well done and well maintained memorial.

Has a walking trail .33 miles long. Cement needs repairs, as does bridges, so be careful. Convenient place to walk a few miles and gwt some exercisein.

Me being a veteran, made it a point to see this place when in town. Very impressive and some very impressive markers. Make sure you walk around and see everything. I want to thank them all with their service and sacrifice.

I spotted the memorial on my way past and stopped to check it out. Id grown uphearing stories from families and friends about the war. Like the rest of my generation, I also grew up watching M.A.S.H. which combined the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. The memorial could use some upkeep, but since I only saw one "walker" on the nature path during my time there, I understand that resources may have been otherwise allocated. There are touches throughout to make this memorial worth a visit beyond the virtue of remembering their sacrifice: A Vietnam era helicopter stands among a copse of trees, plaques are erected around an American flag commemorating other conflicts and park features are lovely throughout with shaded benches and wooden bridges.

Great memorial honoring Vietnam Veterans from the state of Mississippi. There was far more to see here than I was expecting. Worth a 30 minute visit if you’re in the Ocean Springs area.

Fantastic 1/3 mile walking track. Park is well maintained and pretty. The memorial is quite humbling.

Very well kept trails! Front board has a map of the trail. There was a note attached with an updated map. There were paper maps offered as well. One trail is 3/4 miles and the new one is 1.25 miles. 2 overlooks and absolutely breathtaking flora. Was originally worried about parking but there’s enough room for 4-8 cars. It’s a small sized gravel turn in, easy to miss but there is a sign on the opposite side of the road.

Secluded area north of the school. It's a nice walk. There are benches and lookout points along the trail. Part of the trail is graveled but a majority is just a dirt trail. Make sure to bring boots because you will have to traverse some muddy spots. I enjoyed the walk. But I did not see any of the carnivorous plants but I think I was too early. I did not see any animals either. Most people pull up into the secluded parking lot but don't go on the trail.

Beautiful wooded trail with great signage of the different view areas. Well marked trails green / red with 2 different lengths. Very limited parking at the trailhead. Road is just dirt off the main road so look carefully when you come.

There are now two trails here. The green is advertised as 3/4 mile, and the red seems similar so probably 1 - 1-1/2 miles to do both. Pine Savannah and views of the bayou. Nice walk and close to the city.

Cool small brewery with unique, chill vibes. One of many adult beverage locations within a few blocks but this one's definitely worth a stop if you're into beer. Nice variety of styles. Something for everyone. All drinks seem to be brewed with effort and care. Friendly staff. Mississippi Hippie (hazy NE IPA), 1699 (pale ale), and Lost in an Altered Reality (porter) were great but I also tried others that I'd definitely drink again. Quality joint!

Indoor space around the bar is limited but there's an outside window from which you can order and plenty of outside seating. Big screens inside and out were tuned to sports programming and the crowd outside was enthusiastically following a soccer game. There are no food offerings at Lost Spring Brewing (that we saw anyway) and the beers on tap were limited, but they do offer a full bar. The one bartender/server they had was friendly and responsive in spite of her workload.

Bar tender was very friendly and was kind enough to make a specific absinthe drink for me. It's a cool space indoor/outdoor blending. Well stocked bar. Reminded me of some of the bars in New Hope Pennsylvania

Nice spot with great service and ok beers. We were expecting more of a brewery though. Their beer selection wasn't too deep. Probably better described as a bar with some signature cocktails and a few of their own beers than a brewery.

This place is amazing. Being fairly involved in the brewing scene this place does everything right. You have a nice mix of mainstream beer's that will keep the general public happy as well as some more complex flavors and profiles that will entice the more savvy brew connoisseur. Killer atmosphere. The stuffed mermaid for our two-year-old great-niece was a huge hit. With all the presents she got, she kept going back to that mermaid. The boys also enjoyed play-fighting with the stuffed dinosaurs. Thanks for the great gift ideas. BB - Raymond

Miner’s Toy Store is one of the best memories of my childhood in OS. I’m 26 now and still think of this place all the time. It felt so wonderful and whimsical as a kid, and makes me want my own toy store one day. The owners are so kind and friendly. I can’t wait to take a trip back to OS and stop by.

Miner's is hands down the best toy store on the MS Gulf coast! This local-family owned gem - has a great selection, curated for wide variety of ages & interests. Merileigh, the lovely owner, is an expert is play and always helps me pick toys that are loved. Visiting Miner's always brings joy to my day :)

Great, small-town-style toy store in downtown Ocean Springs. Miner's Toys is one of those classic toy stores that you just don't see around anymore. They have an awesome selection of toys: well-known brands like Melissa & Doug, Green Toys, Corolle Dolls, just to name three out of the many other brands and toys they offer. Pricing is definitely reasonable if not exactly the same as large chain stores that sell toys, but here you are supporting a local store, which my wife and I love.The staff was very helpful and friendly. Yes, take your kids here - they will love looking around, getting those birthday/Christmas wish lists ready. We can't wait to bring our daughter back again.

This place has been in business for thirty years. They are all about customer service and carry all the latest toys on the market. The front of the store has a wide variety of cool toys, stuffed animals (Gund) and novelty items. In the back they have an extensive collection of dolls. The owner of the shop is a real sweetheart and takes time to speak to each customer as if she's known them forever. She also has a great rapport with all the mini adults (the kiddos) which shows she loves people, young and old. We will be going back to shop there the next time we are in Ocean Springs.

We live about an hour away from Ocean Springs and drive over every now and then for the day. Ocean Springs Mercantile is my favorite little shop to visit there. It’s the cutest place with so many beautiful and unique things and everyone that works there is so friendly. My favorite is Arrow the beautiful senior dog who has been there for most of my visits. I was over in Ocean Springs and decided take a look in this store because it had some really great looking items. The sales personel we're so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I had an awesome shopping experience while purchasing my wife a very nice present that she'll cherish for years to come. I highly recommend this place to all.

I was in the area looking and browsing for that something special to jump out at me. Everything here was very cute, a lot of holiday spirit here. Everyone was friendly and helpful, though I got the feeling I was in the way a lot of the time from employees and customers. Otherwise, it was nice. Reasonable prices.

We were thrilled to find a local gift shop when searching for unique house warming presents but left without making a purchase after an employee told our son our “wallet probably couldn’t afford” an item if it was broken (no items were harmed during our family’s browsing). The gifts are unique and festive but our experience with customer service unfortunately was not superb. Update: The piggy bank comment was not the only comment made by the Poppy’s employee as implied by their response. We wouldn’t have taken the time to provide a review had that been the only comment made - we fully understand some messages are sometimes received differently than how the speaker intended. It would have been understandable and expected (and supported) had the employee reaffirmed what we had already discussed with our children - that they were not to touch anything we weren’t planning on purchasing - but the employee made multiple comments about finances. We’re not a family which is offended easily, and were willing to pay more than the “several hundred dollar Mark Roberts collectable,” but felt as though we were not welcome after being approached by the store’s employee. Again, the store has beautiful items and appears to be a wonderful provider of unique gifts, however, we’ve been told by local friends that our experience was not uncommon.

Poppy’s is one of my favorite places for great gifts and unique finds. Excellent gourmet food/drink selections as well! They’ll often have samples of their “yummies” sitting out so you can taste before you buy. I stopped in yesterday looking for Halloween/Fall garden flags because I knew they would have them ... and I hit the jackpot with 30% off all Halloween/Fall flags!!!

We had so much fun!!! We were the last group of the night and our host could not have done anything else to make us feel more welcome or have any more fun! We were able to escape Redemption (with a little help) and had a blast doing it. The only negative was that we didn't get to meet the bulldog...ah well, maybe next time! We could not have been happier with the challenge or the service! We ranged in age from 16-53. You should go!

Took my teenage granddaughters, last night. They loved it. It makes them use their minds, in a good way. The owner, is very friendly and welcoming, very much a people person.. I would highly recommend everyone, give it a go. Whether young, old, are in between, this is the place to go, to make some good memories. Will definitely be going back, to do other rooms.

My sister and I went last night with my 2 great nieces and their friend and I know I had a blast and they did too. I highly recommend taken your kids your family or even just a bunch of friends. So fun!! My family and I had the best time in Forgotten Souls and I loved the fact it gave off a Goonies vibe! My brother was squirreling everywhere so if you have an adhd kid they'll have just as much fun. My sister loved it as well and found the first ever clue which helped a lot. Our friend was scared about it being a tight space since she's claustrophobic but she had a blast. I already did the murder mystery one so doing this one just completes the 2 out 3 I have to finish and I am SO EXCITED for the Saw room! Fun place and great for family/friends :)

I had won a silent auction gift certificate from this business; which I wanted to give to a family member as a Christmas present. However, apparently during that time the (90 day) expiration date expired. This business would not honor the gift certificate (or issue a new one) to allow my family to use the gift certificate. I guess they did not need/want the business which would have exceeded the $25 credit.

I absolutely loved my tour unfortunately, I did not want to tour the lighthouse because the top floor had dry roded wood so we were not allowed at the top. I really enjoyed the videos throughout the tour and learned a lot about Biloxi. The staff was very polite and there was plenty of parking. I'm very glad I went.

We just passed by Biloxi and stopped at the visitor center which is located right next to the lighthouse. Biloxi seems to be a very nice town and I found very interesting the history of the Nasa Astronaut that was born and raised here. Besides a walk on the shore we did not do much more before leaving. A nice place worth a stop in my opinion.

Neat little place you can park, get out, take pics of the beautiful lighthouse and enjoy the surrounding area beaches. Bonus statue of Astronaut Fred Haise native to Biloxi and member of the Apollo 13 mission.

A great location to go sit and relax - rather it's a sunset or just out at night listening to the water and watching the moonlight. Noticed that the ice cream truck comes very often through the parking lot. There are a few homeless citizens around the area but never had any issues - they are mostly listening to music and gathered in a group. This is a dog friendly area also. Looks like they are repairing the pier. Beach area is clean and there are areas for barn fires, gazebos, and etc. A sidewalk to the east will get you to the casino.

This is a great stop traveling down I10. Easy in and out as well as beach access a few feet from parking.

The lighthouse was nice but the shore in this area has several fish hooks and pieces of glass we picked up walking along the water, so watch your step and wear swimming shoes or flip flops if you can. There's a store just a few minutes down the road called "Sharkheads" that sells both.

This museum is a must see! The campus is large and consists of multiple buildings., so it’s best to visit when the weather is nice. I learned a lot about the history of the area, particularly the beach and how people of color weren’t allowed to go. The exhibits were really cool and you’ll get some great photos. The staff were super helpful throughout our visit as well.

This is a fantastic art museum! They offer a reciprocal membership with our art museum at home through the NARM program. So we were able to visit at no charge. George Ohr was a genius! We very much enjoyed his work. We had never been exposed to him before and this was really a treat. Anytime you get to be on a campus designed by Frank Gehry, that is a treat! Stop by here if you have some time.

Unique and interesting reflections on culture and art in the region, especially the pottery of George Ohr. Other exhibits change so a visit is in order even if you've been before.. They had onsite pottery class and a lovely gift shop. Relaxing and art-filled.

So glad I visited here during my trip to Biloxi! Not only does this Museum house amazing buildings to learn about history, but the exhibits within those buildings are truly wonderful! They have classes for students and adults, and even a café to enjoy coffee or food while you're on the premises. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Gret museum and friendly staff. Their ceramics center is amazing. I very much enjoyed the portions of the museum that looked at the historical context of the permanent artists, the surrounding communities, and the museum itself. I do wish their maps were a bit better, but I eventually figured out where everything was.

Very nice museum. Has lots of local art. The pottery exhibit is amazing. I sat and watched the video in one of the galleries about the world famous potter Mr. Ohr. Its a great bit of history, and a wonderful story. A must see if you have the opportunity.

Absolutely beautiful museum. Unfortunately we came in the wake of a CAT3 hurricane so most of the art was being moved to an off site location. We happened to run into the Executive director David Houston who was nice enough to let us into some of the Gehry exhibition rooms. This was a truly fantastic experience being able to see the rooms both empty and full of art. A very memorable experience and one we will not soon forget!

A get away.... Nice park for a few hours of fun watching a baseball game... The shuckers ended up winning their rivals at home.

I have sat behind homeplate everytime I've been to games there and enjoyed it. Friday July 11 I sat in the outfield under scoreboard and it was amazing. Not only were the tickets 9$ instead of 30 but atmosphere was far better. Tiki bar concessions and splash pad for kids were out of this world. So bring kids and friends to enjoy this fun afternoon.. Credit cards only no cash except at ticket booth. Also check stadium specials for even better experience. Go support Biloxi shuckers Baseball.

Great little ball park! $2 beers and dogs on thirsty Thursday! Parking was a little difficult but found free street parking not too far away.

We had a great time. Food is a little spendy but pricy beer and a few bucks for popcorn is worth the memories. You can sit on the couch with a hundred bucks and be lame or go to a ball game and make a memory that'll out value that hundred many times over. There is very little to do on the gulf coast. Better get out there and do something. OH and the park is nice.

What a great find after breakfast at the Tipsy Yolk. So much fun. Really nice for kids.

Seriously if you haven’t been to see a Shuckers game at the MGM park, you don’t know what you’re missing …. Game day is fun something to do with the whole family! You can park at the Beau rivage and take the catwalk across highway 90 to the park. There is plenty to eat all types of yummy food, cocktails, beer, and soda. They have added a new tiki bar, a sand area, a splash pad, so it is almost like you are watching a baseball game and being at the beach! So for locals, if you haven’t been you need to go and if you’re visiting, you should check it out, and Friday nights after the games there is fireworks something for everyone ….

It was sad to see it vandalized. It is still worth a visit to remember what happened during Hurricane Katrina and the people who lost their lives. History always has value.

Was Soooo Disappointing... The park area around it is nicely kept but the Memorial Itself was Trashed and the Memento Case is No Longer. Also the Wood Carved Statue hasn't obviously been kept up in Yeeeeears and the Historic Info Signs are also in very need of a Update. All in All I Don't Recommend because it was Depressing to see the Damage and Disrespect and I Truly Wonder Why the City would let This Memorial go to Crap the way it has.. Feels Very Disrespectful to Those Who Lost Their Lives and Homes That Day. DO BETTER BILOXI THATS UNACCEPTABLE!

A plaque was missing. Looks like it had been missing for quite a while. I think they could have done something a little nicer for the people who not only lost their lives but also survived. (Missing plaque isn't shown)

Definitely wanted to stop by while visiting Biloxi during a weekend trip to see the names of those lost and pay our respects. We were definitely disappointed in the up keep of that entire block. Over grown grass and plants. Fading paint and the need for some pressure washing. It sorta looked like it may be a sleep area for the homeless although we didn’t see anyone. We never felt unsafe, just wished that it could be maintained better.

It is a beautiful memorial but a piece of it was missing, like it was torn off. There was not notice as to why...very odd. Sad, if it was vandalized.

If you're into historical markers, this one is one to put on your list, especially if you know about the impact of hurricane Katrina.

Awesome museum, what an amazing collection. We did not know the museum is open Wednesdays 10-5 and 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, also 10-5. We scheduled a visit / private tour by appointment for Sunday 7/28 at 2pm. Our 95 year old grandfather loved this museum and talking with Doug. "Mr. Mansfield" was so kind and patient with our 3.5 year old. Thank you for a wonderful outing enjoyed by all.

Fantastic museum!! There were so many great artifacts, a whole lot more than most large museums. Cheryl and Doug have curated and amassed an amazing collection. My wife and I have traveled all over and visited many museums (large and small) and this is one of our favorites. If you like military memorabilia this is the place to go. I look forward to visiting again the next time I'm in the area.

This is a great little museum if you are nearby. I would highly recommend the visit. The staff are very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have. There are a lot of artifacts in the museum.

This is by far the best museum I ever been to! Impressive, so much history and fascinating stories! I learned so much with Doug at his museum very intriguing. It had wonderful display of military uniforms and artifacts well preserved so much to see and learn. Ingenious! I would definitely go back. Must see!!!

We were very impressed with the overall experience. The owners personally explained many of the items and walked with us throughout the facility. Very elaborate collection of firearms. I was surprised how many artifacts fit in this building. This place is basically a well organized, dedicated collection of memorabilia from a couple of disciplined and courteous veterans.

Gorgeous shop with amazing art work of all kinds. If you're looking for an upscale gift, they have beautiful items at all price points. Sandra is a very talented artist who is genuinely kind and helpful. She and another very sweet artist treated us like family. They spent time getting to know us while Sandra wrapped my purchases beautifully. My daughter and I absolutely love this shop and the ladies who helped us.

Positively charming shop! Beautiful pottery, jewelry and original art. Even fragrances. The staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. I bought two pieces from the gallery, which they shipped to. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Highly recommend!

The Pink Rooster ladies are so helpful and attentive without being overbearing. And somehow remember you even when it might have been quite some time since your previous visit. Gift wrapping is perfect and great to have one less thing to worry about when buying gifts. Charming is an understatement when describing the Pink Rooster!

Nice barrier island with the Gulf on one side and the Mississippi sound on the other side. Spent a relaxing half day on the island along with a 50 min boat ride to and from the island. There is also a fort you can visit with a guided tour by the Park Ranger. It was flooded when we were there so we couldn't do the tour.

Beautiful spot to go. I actually loved this beach and thought it was better than most I’ve gone to. Much more tranquil and the sand felt amazing on the feet

The ONLY issue with Gulf Islands National Seashore is the bathhouse facilities at Ft. Pickens campground (loop A). I understand it's a campground shower and toilet, but it could all stand a good cleaning and updating. I'd drop a half a star for that if I could. Also, be prepared to drop $25 for the National Park entry fee, payable by credit or debit card only. Aside from that, this area is just what the doctor ordered if you're looking for a true getaway. There are NO streetlights, restaurants, clubs, traffic, loud neighbors or obnoxious party people. There IS beautiful, clear ocean water, interesting wildlife, soft, white sand beaches, historical ruins, and United States Navy Blue Angels practice flights. My family camped here in August 2025, grabbed groceries at the Winn Dixie, Aldi, and Walmart about 30 minutes up the road in Navarre, and enjoyed a week of snorkeling, napping, eating seafood, and watching sea birds, crabs, and fighter jets all do their thing without having to leave the confines of Fort Pickens.

Gulf Islands National Seashore is one of the true hidden gems along the Gulf Coast. The white sand beaches are pristine, the water is clear and inviting, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and unspoiled. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and just take in the natural beauty. There’s something for everyone — whether you want to swim, relax on the beach, kayak, hike, or explore historic Fort Pickens. The wildlife is also incredible — we spotted dolphins, birds, and even a few sea turtles. The area is clean, well-maintained, and not overcrowded, even during peak season. Parking and restroom facilities are accessible, and the entry fee is well worth it for the experience you get. If you’re looking for a quiet, stunning coastal escape away from the high-rise condos and party beaches, this is it. One of the best beach spots in Florida — hands down.

Absolutely beautiful, serene, relaxing, mesmerizing and tranquil. Sad was soft and water refreshing. Would love to get back during the warmer months!

Nice beach not crowded. Coolest thing was the Blue Angels were practicing that day. Very very cool. We're doing fly overs. Was awsome.

This place was beautiful! Some areas were inaccessible due to flooding, but most of the trails were fine. The staff was able to point out key animal viewing spots on the park map as well some trails that weren’t marked on the map. I saw baby armadillos, a tortoise, a rabbit, an osprey nest, dolphins, an alligator and a bunch of different sea birds like pelicans and cranes.

This place was great. I can't wait to take my littles to the sensory room.

Mississippi Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Mary C. Very enjoyable. Music and musicians were great. However the venue was very cold.

They started really good concerts there with cheap tickets Candlelights concerts but they offer very few things to eat and to drink which r overpriced

It was breathtaking!!!!! The music was a delight and the people were lovely. This is a lovely cultural center and you can see Walter Anderson's work there.

The building is amazing. Also the Mary O Keefe cultural art center is there. Alot of cool things to see.

Went for a candle concert, it was really wonderful. Place is beautiful inside and out.

The address on Magnolia Bayou Road leads to a residential area. All nice looking homes. No sign for any museum.

The picture of the planes are misleading. It also needs to be more accesible. Bones are very cool though!

Literally just a children’s room. Cool children though.

Cool statue but honestly drove by it several times and never knew it was there. Plus no where to park. Honestly I could have took a picture as I drove by and been just as happy. It was free so that was a plus.

What can I say? It's a big statue on the side of a highway. It's interesting, but you know what would be even more interesting? Some kind of plaque explain what and why. And maybe some maintenance. Something this grand ~ and possibly old? ~ should be better taken care of

Nice long-standing landmark. Not a friendly place to visit for all no handicap accessible areas or benches to sit and reflect. But it may not be that type of place

Monument when you first come in the Ocean Springs it's a big Indian head with a big feather sticking out the top of his head very cool icon didn't really notice what the information was on the tag I didn't see the tag until after I left so I don't know what icons but it's awesome I give it 4 stars

Crooked Feather is Mississippi's representative on the "Trail of the Whispering Giants" Each state has at least one giant Native American wood carving by the artist Peter Wolf Toth. A tribute to Native Americans. My family has made it a point to visit a "Giant" whenever we are in the vicinity. Some are readily accessible, others require some effort to get to.

Great visitor information center about the ecology of the area, the habitation and local flora and fauna. Also a great history of the area. Lots of walking paths, clean restrooms.

Open 9-4pm. Lady inside the center is super helpful. Don’t forget to take your blue national parks passport to stamp. Plenty of different stamps.

Visited on Sunday Easter and it was opened! Opened a bit past noon but it was great to visit and learned about the bayou and the seashore. There is access to water and a nice pier close to the center. Rogers on duty were quite friendly and gave a lit of info about the area and wildlife but also how to bike to Ocean Springs and the boys completed their junior ranger booklet and got nice badges. There is a small interpretation section in the centre. Nice osprey and its nest in the picnic area close to the water. A very nice spot to learn and discover!

This was the nicest visitor center I have seen. It's beautiful. It's really big with nice paths to walk. The only problem was the women's bathrooms were all closed. I waited about 45 minutes and they were still closed. I don't know if there's a problem with the plumbing or what. If not for that, it would have definitely been a five-star stop.

Staff very nice. Have some exhibits, hands on stuff for kids. Some exhibits are broken, in need of repair. Movie was interesting. The boardwalks outside are all closed for repair.

The gentleman working was very helpful and informative. The center itself was informative and interesting. We found out about the forts and did the Junior Ranger program of course. Wish we allotted more time to take a ferry over to the island fort nearby. The gift shop could definitely be expanded on. No bumper stickers.

Beautiful area. We were here for approximately one half hour an it came a down pour. We enjoyed what little bit we got to see.
