We find the staff friendly, the exhibits interesting and, at least when we visited it, they had a exhibit on Captain John Smith. When scouting out the rivers Havre De Grace happened to be the most northern point of his exploration. A LOT of history in such a small town!

The collection is interesting, especially those regarding black and native american populations. Also, the facility is located within a very short walking distance to other points of interest.

An excellent museum for understanding the bay culture and how important the rivers were to earlier generations that lived here. The museum also has a nice exhibit on the indigenous population prior to European settlement in Havre de Grace. Also, the gift shop has a good selection of bay-themed gifts.

Loved all the artifacts and the the compass display was awesome as was the speed boat. Only issue was that the sign said $9 per family. We did have a big family but we ended up paying for three families as there is a 2 adult max per family. The Mark 2 looks cool.

We went last week & told the elevator was broke so the bottom half was unaccessible, only got to see top half. Still paid full admission to see half the museum.

Amazing place to walk in the morning and evenings. Super calm, you can hear the birds chirping and relax. There are public clean restrooms on the other side of the street.

Decided to do a quick impromptu stop to see the lighthouse with the family. Its a cute little spot. You'd expect the bugs to be awful so close to the water but they weren't that bad at all. Probably would reccomended visitng at sunrise hours if you get the chance to see the sunrise in the background. These photos are taken near sunset. Would reccomend for a little stroll break for any passers by on a long trip.

Wonderful hidden gem of a park. The walkway is wide and easy to walk with strollers or pets. Gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay and a quaint burger/ice cream joint by the boat launch to watch the sunset from. We visited after the light house was closed, as an evening stroll and dinner stop on our travels down I95. Highly recommend stopping here for a break while traveling!

Stopped here with my wife. Depending on the time of day you are likely to get some great photos. Must be epic at sunset... So we'll have to come back. We stopped about mid-day and parked near the Promenade Grille. There should be ample parking near the marina

What a charming little museum in small town on the coast. Well worth the detour, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the history of the area, building, and decoys! We enjoyed going for a walk to the lighthouse after visiting

A true American folk art museum. While the majority of decoys were carved to support the duck hunting lifestyle they definitely are an Americana art form. When you think about duck hunting you consider only a few carvers. But if you stop to visit you will learn that the number of carvers is larger than one would realize. Don't pass this place up!

Well, if you never visited a Decoy Museum I would suggest visiting this one. Me and my Mom spent a night in Havre De Grace to visit the city and learn of its history and hunting is a huge part of it. So the museum isn't just about decoys but also tells a lot of the story of the local area. And the decoys on display are art. So it is a art museum and a history museum.

The park is busy on a Saturday afternoon, there's wedding, party inside the park and games. My son had fun.

Such a peaceful place. Big playground for kids. Benches to sit. We ate at the promenade grill. And then went on a “promenade”. Walked till the lighthouse. Sat down by the water at Concord point. Our son was standing on the small rocks and enjoying the waves and I ended up writing a poem about Havre de Grace. Nice peaceful day spent. What I loved was they have proper restrooms. At Concord point, the water fountain even had an outlet for pets. Lovely!

Great little playground for a wide variety of ages. The western side of the playground is for the toddlers under the age of 4. The center equipment is for the ages from 4 - 12. There is enough equipment on the playground for concerned parents who worry about the bigger kids over-running the smaller kids. As always, parents, watching and helping the younger kids is recommended for safety and enjoyment of all.

We come to this playground every time we visit Havre de Grace! The kids insist and we love it! There is a large swing set so there is always room to swing, and multiple different playgrounds put together! There is a lighthouse play set with a rocking ship and slide and so much more! Down the hill is a delicious grille that serves ice cream and food! So good!

Walked the promenade on a beautiful January day, about 11:30 am. People about, but not crowded. Honking geese and lapping waves added to the ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the pier with the carved native birds on top of the pilings. Well worth the little bit of extra walking.

Beautiful scenery! Relaxing atmosphere! Definitely a hidden gem! There's a free shuttle that will tide you around the entire town.

Very nice park with lots of things to do, and a nice boardwalk path along the water! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there were LOTS of spiderwebs on the playground, but my kids still had fun.

Pretty good for free. The lock is well preserved and even has water in it, which is kinda rare. The building was tiny and underwhelming but had some nice artifacts.

Cool little museum about the canal along the Susquehanna River. Very informative

Quiet and charming. Staff genuinely cares and will take time to educate you on the history of the canal with demonstrations. I'd highly recommend coming for a tour if you care about Maryland history, but keep in mind the tour may take at least 30-40min. Theres also a small manicured field in the front and full access of the canal in the back with a few tables and a bench surrounded by flowers. Just make sure to take the bridge to the left if you want to cross the canal. It's less shaky.

Staff is very knowledgeable about the how the locks and canal system worked. Lots of historical information about this canal and how it was connected to the canals in Pennsylvania.

This afternoon there were several people enjoying this area. Some were fishing, some taking photos, some just sitting in their cars enjoying the view and cool breeze. We were all asked to leave because a tourist bus was coming in. There's plenty of room to park a bus there even with other cars in the lot. I thought this was a public space.

Beautiful, scenic and relaxing place. Perfect for family strolls. My kids enjoyed the walk along the bay, spotted turtles and enjoyed some outdoor exercise. Lighthouse was a nice surprise!

Peaceful and full of history, definitely worth a visit if you live in the DMV or are traveling to.

Pleasant place to relax. The Susquehanna River and its vast expanse flows alongside as you walk the Promenade. The Promenade is at least a 1/4 mile long. Maybe a 1/2 mile. It's enough to get your walk on. The Promenade is a very cool place and a good use of public space. You will find the historic Concord lighthouse, the historic house of the Lighthouse Keeper, a duck decoy museum, (no never visited), an eatery for a quick bite, a marina, and places along the Promenade where people fish for dinner. There's a pier that juts out into the Susquehanna. People fish there. Another spot where people fish right from shore is located near the eatery. Find this peaceful gem of a place in Havre de Grace, MD just off Rt 40 and down Revolution Road to its end. Make right. See lighthouse to your left. I come for the Nature. The place is a show-off with nature, birdlife and the river with its lapping "baby" waves. Its' a place where you can sit back, relax, take in the view and breath fresh air. Nice! Looking for a spot to launch your boat? A spot to picnic? A walkway to stroll with your family? A place of both historic & natural beauty? The Promenade is that place. You can avail yourself of the restroom facilities, the deli style restaurant and the pavilions at the harbor. A stroll will take you to the lighthouse. Top all this off with a wide range of shops and places to eat nearby and you have a place to spend the day or a vacation. Love this place.

Highly recommend this place. The Staff are friendly and fast. My husband loves the Cream of Crab soup, I had the French onion which was also delicious. My husband also had the crab cake burger which he also loved. I had chicken tenders which were only ok and a side salad which was good. It is a little on the pricey side but if you love seafood, definitely give this place a try. I am not a seafood lover, so would try a burger or something next time as the chicken tenders were just " meh"!!! The room at the back over looking the water is very pretty tho

Love the location! We were able to sit outside by the water. Great service and everyone was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The issue was the food. The seafood was overcooked. Scallops dish was a little greasy, and the salmon was definitely overcooked. I came here back in April and everything was so delicious. I dont know who was in the kitchen this time but it was not good and pretty bland.

The location is nice, with indoor and outdoor seating. Service is fast and friendly. The portions are good sizes with very good seafood options. My pasta was a little greasy.

This is my first time here as I was passing through. My waiter did reflect nor did job to satisfy me. He was always never to be seen and when I would ask for example, for a straw he would never come back with it. As for the food the crab soup was delicious! Plus, the price was reasonable! The crab cake sandwich on a pretzel bun didn’t impress me. I love a good crab cake, but I’ve had better. My family member ordered the blacken fish wrap and they didn’t like at all. In a very nice setting, seating inside and out. Umbrellas outside were small for the table size. Food was bland and disappointing. No garlic or butter flavor, we split the shrimp and scallop savory. The Bacon Jam scallops they were good. Very pricey for a nondescript meal. Service was good.

Love sitting outside near water. Prices have gone up since covid but quality of food is excellent.

The worst Food I ever had in my life as far as seafood. I ordered the pasta with the shrimp, scallops, mussels, and crabs. It was disgusting no flavor, bland and thrown into a container with tomato sauce,and charge me 40+ dollars I would never ever go back there again, to meet so disrespectful to serve somebody something like that!!🤮 UPDATE: 9/2/25-I don’t accept his apology. Why ?because I called not once not twice but three times left a message never heard anything back from him. I’m not trying to be mean I just hope that you learned from these reviews and listen to the customers !!

Awesome golf course. This is a Pete Dye classic with a ton of challenges that will test your mental and physical prowess. Greens were challenging with subtle slopes but not too tricky. I had missed at least 4 putts under 5 feet on the back nine, so kudos to Pete for making it a little bit tricky. Missing that many short putts would typically make me crazy but I was having a fun day at his course with at least 3 pins that I was able to hit including putting from 69 feet away as well as hitting it from 80 yards away. Moguls were everywhere from fairways to greens. Fairways had a lot of challenges as well, including downhill lies, forced carries, dog legs, dual fairways, and blind shots. The facility includes lockers with hot showers as well as a food shack on the 9th hole. Green fees were reasonable with my tournament fee under $200.00. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great condition. I'd give this track a 10 out of 10, but because the driving range was not easily accessible - it was at least 1.5 miles away from the club house and somewhat hidden, so I'm giving it a 9.9. However, they have a short game driving range for pin placements up to 85 yards as well as multiple chipping and putting green areas, which probably was the difference that helped me win my Grint tournament at this track last 03/22/2025.

June 2025. Pretty course. $99 weekday. In decent shape but the rough is tall. We spent half the time looking for our balls in the rough. Bring your water bottles because they don't have water stations around the course. Showers are reasonably clean and they provide towels and hair dryer. Bring your soap, shampoo, and hairbrush.

I had a chance to play the course this weekend with a few buddies. The golf course is in great shape. I highly recommend getting there early and taking advantage of the practice facilities, which are incredibly nice.

First and foremost, if you’ve never played here, you absolutely need to do it. The course is amazing and always in great shape, the staff is amazing and always courteous, the pro shop is always stocked with awesome gear, and the food is amazing. I bought a place at the bay last year and have been doing the associate membership the past two years. I’d like to compliment them on something else that I think is absolutely huge . I just called to try to book a teetime for tomorrow morning and I spoke with Riley in the pro shop. He let me know due to the aerofication schedule, that I would be playing the same nine holes twice. Now that is something that does not interest me so I did not book the slot. What impresses me is the fact that he simply told me about this over the phone instead of me showing up and being disappointed. I don’t know what is so hard about that and why other courses do not do this. I played a course this past Thursday that had just punched the greens and didn’t say a word about it. And the other weekend, I was really bent out of shape. I tried to book here but the women’s NCAA tournament was going on. We booked at Chesapeake Bay club and showed up an hour early only to find out that the range was closed, one of the holes was closed, the course was under all kinds of construction, and was completely overbooked… at one point we had four groups on one hole! That course is OK and I appreciate the fact that they are trying to make it nicer but had I known I would not have booked my slot and especially at $75 Anyways, great job to Riley in the pro shop

I've been here many times. I have never had a bad experience. From the time you pull up with your bag(s) you are greeted and made to feel welcome. Checking in, the pro shop experience is great. Hats, clothes, shoes etc. Good pricing. Driving range, a great short iron area, putting greens. Half way house always pleasant. The course is always in top notch condition. To top off the round you can get some food and drinks at the pub grille. Eat outside on the deck overlooking 18 or have a seat inside. The wait staff is attentive and personable. Great drinks and fantastic food.

First time playing here today and can't wait to come back. Challenging course in great condition with very friendly staff.

Sad to give this wonderful track only 3 stars, but what a disappointment it was when we played 2 days ago. Yes the course is lovely, diverse and challenging. And yes, greens were beautiful (if a bit slow), traps well groomed, and fairways and tees nice indeed. BUT… For $120, how about ball-washers on tees? Or water every few holes? Or a cart girl, or first cut maintained that you can’t lose a ball in it (yes, it happened twice)? Or perhaps keep the halfway house open so you could grab a dog, coke and chips at the turn without having to climb back up to the clubhouse and then wait for the overwhelmed barkeep to take your order (and lord knows how long it would have taken)? Just yesterday I played our local public track for $45. Almost as nice, and better service. NEVER AGAIN.

Beautiful Outdoor Atmosphere. View the Susquehanna River and our Chesapeake Bay. Perfect Bird Watching place. They Used to have Honey Butter for their Hush Puppies; but Every Restaurant has Had to Cut Corners. Meals are Large and My Favorite is Fish n Chips; fried Cod. Most meals are Very Good.

The softshell crab sandwich is a must! Their platters come with so much food and a drink, it was a great value. A little bit of a wait but it was worth it. No indoor seating, but nice view.

Great food and views. Crab cakes, fried fish, and shrimp were all excellent. Cooked perfectly to a nice golden brown with lots of fresh seafood flavor. The pit beef sandwich was just okay... good flavor yet overcooked for my taste. Overall highly recommended as long as it's a nice day where you can sit outside comfortably, or don't mind eating in your car.

The mahi mahi bites with lime barbecue glaze were the star of the show. A good grille option that is reasonably priced and portioned.

The location was great, however fish was over cooked, great if you’re going for the picnic feel.

We enjoyed our visit here. The hush puppies, clam chowder, salmon special, and kids chicken fingers were good. However, the kids hot dog was a sad excuse for food. I’ve seen gas station hot dogs that look and taste better. The staff was very friendly and the food was decently fast. Nice outdoor, covered, dining area and you can see and hear the water. Close to the public restrooms that have a family restroom and were surprisingly clean. Had ice cream after dinner and it is what you’d expect. A nice wrap up to a mostly good dinner. We would eat here again.

Beautiful artwork everywhere in this alley way and all around the building. Local artists also come out on first Fridays of the month all summer to demonstrate and showcase their own artwork. Also , they have family friendly events such as movie nights and art based workshops. A great place to take some great photos! Plus walking distance to hutchins Park and historic downtown havre de grace.

I visited the Concord Point Lighthouse and Keepers Museum on a Friday. You will need to schedule a tour in advance if you’d like to visit on a weekday but I highly recommend it. Our tour guide was Britney and she truly went above and beyond for our small group of 3. We saw the inside of the lighthouse and the museum. Britney was ready to go with all of the fun history facts and even suggested places to eat and visit on our next visit.

My wife and I came here this weekend for her birthday. We're from Philly so any chance that we get to venture out somewhere peaceful and quiet we're out. We came up to see Mount Harmon Plantation but had to see this......The park is beautiful the water and piers and the monument that they have erected is very nice . We got there early so the lighthouse was closed but still got some pics .

The entry is free and the keeper is so nice and can see the light house key and it is so bulky and it is about 70 yrs old. You can drop the donations in the donations box to help them keep running. The view of the shore and fishing pier can be seen in the pictures.

Pleasant view but the lighthouse isn't exactly located in the most dramatic (like a seacliff) location. Perfect for a casual stroll.

Love it so much here that we got married at this spot! It’s the cornerstone of the community. The park is well kept. The people are always super friendly. It’s a great atmosphere for an afternoon stroll as well as all the community events that are hosted there.

We recently held a private celebration of life event at Mt. Felix Winery, and it was everything we hoped it would be — beautiful, peaceful, and filled with love. The setting was perfect, but what truly made the experience exceptional was Mary. From our first conversation, Mary communicated clearly, kindly, and consistently. She made the planning process easy during a difficult time and was always just a phone call or message away. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel less like customers and more like longtime family friends. Mary went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly and truly reflected what we envisioned. She helped us take care of every detail with heart and grace, which allowed us to focus on honoring our loved one. The wine was fantastic and enjoyed by all our guests, and the rest of the Mt. Felix team was friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout the entire event. We are so grateful to Mary and the whole team. If you’re looking for a place to host a meaningful event, this is it. Highly recommend.

We had to get in their new outdoor globe and drink some delicious wine! It was a fantastic experience and we ended up buying 6 bottles because everything we tasted was so delicious. I definitely recommend getting the combination tasting which includes dry and sweet wines.

Such poor treatment on August 8. I had a rough day and was doing a job nearby so I called to see if they were open. Their answering machine said that they were open until 5:30. When we pulled up, the gate was closed so I parked my truck and started walking up towards the winery. A guy came out, got in a car, drove up to us and said that we were trespassing. He claimed that he has attack dogs there and he carries a gun and told us to get out of there. I don't know if I ever want to go back there again. I am highly disappointed that we were treated so poorly at a winery that we have patronized for years.

I recently had the pleasure of decorating for a prom send off at Mt. Felix and it was such a great experience! The grounds were beautiful and the perfect backdrop for the event.The owners and staff were very helpful and accommodating and provided excellent customer service! Oh and the wine is absolutely delicious!! I hope to have an opportunity to visit this beautiful venue again.

Great views, nice staff with a relaxed approach to presenting their wines. Large variety of wines to choose from. Did I mention the views? Today, their wine flights included 7 wines for each of their dry or 7 of their sweet offerings. Wine tasting room is one to be envious of as it has many levels where a big group can gather, and couples can be intimate. The large outdoor patio with several levels and many tables and chairs was perfect for this warm and sunny Veterans Day 2023

Lovely winery with a good selection of dry and sweet wines. We purchased a flight of sweet and summer wines 🍷. Ended up purchasing two bottles (blueberry pie and strawberry jam). We loved the laid-back atmosphere. No overcrowding! Live music and friendly staff.

The front row is about 4' from the stage and your eyes are at floor level so consider that when purchasing tickets. The production we saw was great (my nephew was 'Chip' in the 25th Spelling Bee. 😂😂), the sound was good, and the seats were comfortable enough. Would recommend seeing the show, and the venue to others.

This is a great historic location that stages great performances for the local community and beyond. I went to see the David and Ginger Hildebrand concert for the upcoming arrival of Lafayette in the 200th anniversary of the return of the last Major General of the Continental Army still alive by 1825. the stage was on the second floor, and one cannot come away from this and not know how historic and meaningful this place means to the community of Havre de Grace (me being from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania). The staff were friendly, and guided me to where I needed to go. In terms of the concert itself, David and Ginger Hildebrand are some of the best performers of colonial music in the country. As previous heads of the Colonial Music Institute, they compiled various tunes and lyrics to perform authentic pieces in the anniversary of Lafayette's arrival to Havre de Grace on July 29, 1825. Their experience as educators definitely were on display during this performance, not hesitating to answer questions from the audience, and making us all understand the importance of music in our understandings of the political, social, and religious history of Early America. Overall, I recommend both the Cultural Center as well as David and Ginger Hildebrand for a better appreciation of American culture throughout the almost 250 years we have been a country.

The River Stone Theater Company's production of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" was tremendous!

Disappointed in the Leadership and Lack of Integrity While the Opera House may appear to be a shining example of local culture on the outside, my experience has shown it to be a prime example of what’s wrong with arts administration in our city. This venue has become less about the arts and more about politics, favoritism, and backdoor dealings. What’s most frustrating is the obvious favoritism shown by City leadership—especially the Mayor—toward the Opera House and STAR Centre. It's hard not to notice how quickly and consistently resources, event promotion, and public support flow to them, even while other local venues like The State Theater have been left fighting for basic infrastructure and fairness. When grant money is held up for years and basic permits are delayed—only to be fast-tracked elsewhere—it raises serious questions. The Mayor’s continued public support of the Opera House, while other venues face retaliation for speaking out, creates the appearance of a system where staying silent or loyal gets you rewarded. Whether it’s an actual bribe or not, the optics are bad—and it looks like political favoritism at best, or abuse of office at worst. The arts should never be used as a political tool, yet that’s exactly what seems to be happening here. Until the City addresses the clear imbalance in how venues are treated and the leadership at the Opera House and STAR Centre is held to account, I won’t be stepping foot in this venue again—and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who believes in fairness, free expression, or genuine community support.

Great entertainment in a refurbished historical setting. Small venue and not a bad seat in the house. Easy to get in and out with parking close by.

First time at the Opera house. The old building was impressive, and the show was great. Can't wait to return for another show.

My expectations were low, because Havre De Grace is an interesting place. My experience was fantastic. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. It's a charming little restaurant and I highly recommend stopping in! Definitely get the Pork Belly Appetizer, a Catfish PO Boy, or the Jumbolaya. The Collard Greens were amazing! I hope to come back soon!

We’ve lived in Havre de Grace for years and had never tried this restaurant until last night. From the moment we walked in, we knew we would like it. Our server Maddy was so sweet. I could eat 6 more plates of the cornbread. We talked about the bow tie noodles that came with the dip several times after we left. The jambalaya was authentic & well made. My blackened salmon was amazing. The asparagus spears & corn sides were phenomenal as well. All of it was amazing. The apple cider beer was by far my favorite. My boyfriend said it was the best key lime pie he has ever had, and he is quite a pie connoisseur. All around wonderful experience. Will probably go back tonight :)

Visited for the first time and wow is the first thing that comes to mind! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Our server (a guy, sorry forgot his name) was super friendly and attentive! The food was absolutely delicious! Such a great variety! We loved the crawfish fries! The decor is so cool to look at! My New Favorite Restaurant After a day of fishing my friend suggested that we stop at Backfin Blues Creole De Graw and I'm so glad he did. I had popcorn shrimp and a bowl of gumbo and my goodness it was excellent. Took some food home and the family liked it too. Next we had a family outing, visiting the Havre De Grace marina... so you know I took the family to lunch at the same place... they loved it! I had the boom boom shrimp along with shrimp & grits, they had a salad, the gumbo with everything and a shrimp po-boy. The food was delicious the service was great. We enjoyed Backfin Blues Creole De Graw and look forward to when we come back for more that good food.

My fiance and I decided to come here last night and try and place that we have been talking about since we moved to Harford County. I am so glad that we finally were able to come and do so. The food was amazing and the wait staff was beyond friendly. This is definitely being added to our list of special occasion night out locale's. Cant wait to come back and try something new.

My son and I stopped by on Father's Day, and despite how crowded they were, they managed to find a spot for us. It was an awesome time, and the food was amazing!!! Our server, Bre, was fantastic, and her selection guidance was spot on. Katelin, the manager, was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. We started with Duck Fat Fries and Steamed Shrimp before moving on to the Etouffee with Shrimp and Chicken. Completely delicious and complimented perfectly by the beer recommended by Bre. I can’t say enough about the day we had and the welcome we received from these fine folks!

I grew up in the south and lived near New Orleans for awhile. This is as good as it gets. It's way better than we expected and was only going because we miss creole food. If you get a chance try this place for a real southern feel of comfort food. There is no way the chef is not from the south... At least their momma has to be hahahaha

One of the best things about this coffee shop is that they were always there when I needed them! I worked at a shop down the street, and I frequently stopped here for a coffee refresh. Carl and everyone on staff is always awesome, and always very friendly. The atmosphere is peaceful and bustling at the same time, and there is a lot of camaraderie here. Such a great community meeting spot for small local events. Stopping by Concord Point always put me in a better mood 💜

My sister accidentally ordered a cold brew when she really wanted a latte. They noticed her disappointment and offered to get her a latte instead making sure their customer was satisfied! Great customer service! Also, I think a guest was playing guitar and made for a chill atmosphere inside too!

Love Karl and his friendly staff! The drinks are great and you can substitute dairy for soy or oat milk. He has sweets/ bagels/ ice cream and also small gifts for purchase. Don't forget the sticker for your water bottle!!

Great shop! Plenty of seating, loved the local artist artwork all over the walls. The staff was very friendly too. The coffee was Great! I had 2 iced lattes, German chocolate cake and Black Forest and both great!

Stop by to get a my morning coffee. I ordered a caramel latte with almond milk. I did not order any food. The atmosphere is very pleasant and excellent customer service.

A really excellent coffee shop in a very cute town. Vibe is great, aesthetically it was very pleasing. Two big rooms full of seating and nice artwork everywhere. Hot tea was delicious and affordable. Bagel was very good and service was good as well.

Wonderful little shop to stop into and grab a cup of coffee in the morning. The town itself is quaint and that matches the inside of this coffee shop. I would highly recommend to the owner that you add a way to give electronic tips through your square checkout process. I usually leave 5 dollars and was unable to. That is my own complaint. Wonderful staff. Will definitely be back. With cash for a tip.

So when I got their I was greeted real quick and help was really nice, but to call this a bowl, what happened to actual scrambled eggs with shredded cheese not a hug piece of egg with cheese, what happened to cutting up the potato’s and actually dicing up the sausage. And they forgot the onions that was requested and not even salt was used. I want to go back but I won’t be wasting my money again, I will let everyone know about my experience

The quiche felt like a microwaved bowl of eggs and didn’t have a crust. We paid to add onions to our potatoes and they were almost raw.

I only visited once and would like to go again! The food was delicious and the environment is nice. I got the Wednesday special. But I’m really hoping for better service next time for a more enjoyable experience. My mom who invited me to come had the same server last time she went and they did not provide good service either. I will request a different server next time if we are placed with them again because it was really bad.

We had a short wait (10 minutes) to sit down no big deal. Then we ordered our food the first time the waitress came. We waited 30 minutes and the tables that got sat right when we arrived still didn’t have their food so we left because we had to be somewhere. The food looked good but sadly we didn’t even get to have any.

My aunt and I visited this coffee shop early this morning, and we were clearly the first customers of the day. Upon entering, we both greeted the two older women behind the counter. Despite the shop being very small and quiet – there was no way they didn’t hear us. We were completely ignored. No eye contact, no acknowledgment, just a cold and indifferent atmosphere that crossed the border of rudeness. Throughout our short visit, I was the only one saying yes and thank you. The lack of basic courtesy made us both feel very uncomfortable. As for the food, our “toasted” bagels were barely warmed and only slightly browned on one corner. The coffee was mediocre best – not worth making a trip for. We both left as soon as we finish, offering a polite, thank you and goodbye on our way out. Once again, we were met with silence. The only person who acknowledged us was a gentleman seated at another table (possibly one of the owners?), who returned our goodbye. Unfortunately, that small gesture wasn’t enough to save the experience. Based on the cold service and lackluster food, we won’t be returning.

Stopped here today for a couple lattes. The lady who took our order wasn't very friendly; no welcome or smile. This quaint little coffee shop that sells a variety of coffees, lattes, espresso and more. They have limited seating to sit and enjoy your beverage. I ordered a pumkin spice latte.The latte was a bit weak and watered down for my taste. Prices are somewhat expensive. Two small lattes set me back 11ish dollars. The ambiance is nice though; 50's Era music and warm atmosphere. They also have the shop packed with shelves of "knickknacks " which are available for purchase. If you want a quality tasting latte, though, I'd stick with Starbucks.

Stumbled upon the cutest coffee shop in Harve de Grace, MD. Wide selection of flavored coffees and pastries. Adorable inside with nostalgic nic nacs to take you back to the good-old-days. The old time, feel-good music playing takes you back in time and puts all your worries to rest. Step back in time and enjoy the treats and sweets.

Great to sit or come in for an awesome cup of coffee or coffee infused refreshments. And the smell of the fresh coffee is delightful. There is also a great selection of coffee beans that they ground and you can take home. Will definitely be back, wish I lived closer Much Love from NJ!!

I’ve lived in Havre de Grace for years and for some reason had never been in here. I’m glad I stopped in! We had a delicious muffin and bagel, and I LOVED the frozen vanilla latte. They also sell fresh beans and can grind them for you in store. Such a cute little place, will definitely be back!

Grew up in Havre and I miss Java btb. Coffee shops like this don’t exist anymore. Miss just getting my coffee in peace without all the small talk.

July 5th fireworks, family oriented and we had a blast in Havre de Grace all day.

Very cute park. a nice little fishing spot and the locals that frequent there are always friendly. the park is dog friendly . Also has a great view. the park also supplies dog waste bags at the entrance. public bathrooms as well .

Amazing 4th of July experience, love seed momma jump plus fireworks made it unreal. Love seed set the mood for an unforgettable experience !!

Go there for the farmers market. It usually has a nice breeze off the water. Also there is a good sized tent for some shade.

The park has a beautiful view of the train bridge that'll definitely play well on social media. Even with the worst camera and no skill you're guaranteed to get a reaction or two. But if you even half know what you're doing this bridge might be the best picture you posted all week.

It's small with 2 tables and a grill and garbage can. Would be great if bigger. Also under the amtrak bridge so loud too.

It’s a great park. Full of wildlife and having the most breathtaking views of the Atlantic, you will be thrilled with the beautiful scenery and calmness that surrounds this magnificent area! My wife and I always take pics and indulge in the moment as we don’t have too many days to enjoy this! Take it in when you can!!! Memories like these have more value than what you will spend on any materialistic product in a lifetime!

Excellent park. Cool lighthouse, lots of war history information, very cool wood sculptures all along the pier, and it connects to the promenade for some extended bayside walking. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

They have some reasonably priced items. Especially cereal. Don't have everything I was looking for. The cashier was very pleasant. I didn't catch what his name was.

Typical Home Depot. Although the tall guy at the paint department is one of the most respectful, helpful individuals I have met.

It would be great if there was a grocery store besides Dollar General in there. Seems a little desolate and lonely, but that's the state of brick and mortar these days. Also the Chinese Kitchen could definitely use a makeover, if there's tiles get any more loose from the floor they'll fly to the ceiling.

Plenty of free parking. Stopped into a CVS to purchase a few things. Not much traffic in the area either.

It's a lot safer in this Dollar Store than it is in most other ones that I've been too! They do have everything there that you could possibly need even off the wall things. It's a nice little shopping place to go did you have a grocery store on that strip mall and across the street they have restaurants

Ms. Maria is amazing!!!!! So sweet. She won't put cans in a bag with your bread. She can help you find ANYTHING. There are several Family Dollar stores I encounter to/from work. I ONLY go to the one in HdG (across from Burger King) because of Ms. Maria. She IS that store. "Raise, Promotion, Employee of the decade!!!". Give her what she deserves.

Dollar generals a good store, But some other things are higher than Walmart. But much lower than your regular grocery store. Christmas decorations are currently on sale. Remembering this store sells miscellaneous things as food clothing make up you name it They have it.

I went to this store with my buddy and we had a GREAT time! There were so many collectors items and they were selling for such a cheap price! I would DEFINITELY recommend going here!

Always on my list of places to stop by when I'm in Havre de Grace. Not only do they have a great selection of used books, but there is a costume display from movies like Hungar Games and other historical artifacts on display.

Amazing selection of used books. Lots of old toys and games for us 80's babies to ogle and reminisce. They also have costumes and props from movies st up throughout the store. Several from the hunger games.

Love the owner and the store. I’m a huge fan of pop-culture and a huge nerd for The Hunger Games. Coming to this store I was blown away by some of the things on display. An amazing collection, and there’s always something interesting for anyone’s tastes!

Visiting the area. Great store with mixed media, video games, toys to the ceiling (literally). Great owners. Happy customers. Fun place just to browse.

Great book store, books were priced fairly, large selection of rare books and movie finds. This was my first time at the location, the books gave an old original price and the actual price on the cover, so be aware of this when considering a purchase. The owner also told a member of our party that they wouldn’t be able to afford an item in the store, which was rude and unnecessary. We ignored the comment and left.

A fever dream (in a good way) of books, collectibles, comics, etc. they even have a very large collection of movie costumes that were worn on screen. Currently they have costumes from Hunger Games, Respect, and Carrie on display.

Nice trail. Didn't walk the entire loop, but what we did walk was mostly flat. Great for anyone who doesn't want a lot of sloping or hills.

Did a guided tour of the trail with Joe K and his daughter. Was very informative.

This trail is a great mixture of natural trail and wheelchair/stroller accessible. The trail is set up in a loop. Half of it is either paved or an old railroad siding that has had pea gravel put between the rails and levelled. The other half is levelled grass, or natural trail with roots. There are sections of this portion of the trail can be muddy. So come prepared to get dirty if it rained the night prior. The natural portion of the trail follows the bank of the Susquahanna. Many different types of birds make their home here. I've seen cranes, ospreys, hawks, and bald eagles, to name a few. This is one of our favorite places to go in Havre de Grace! You will not be disappointed!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the event.The music was amazing, and the vendors were exceptional. Enjoyed hearing the history of the school and meeting all of the dignitaries. I would definitely recommend attending their event. Looking forward to next year’s festival!

Such an important place memorializing such an important part of our history. If you live in Harford County and/or are raising a child in the County, it's essential to visit to learn about this history.

I took my children to Graw Alley upon the recommendation of a librarian at the Maryland Horse Library in Reistertown who mentioned the historical equestrian display there. Upon visiting, we were pleased to find not only the equestrian display but also a number of other historically relevant murals. The space is nicely laid out, tucked into a quiet corner that feels refreshingly inviting & open, yet safe and well preserved. Our visit was brief but enriching as the space was easy to navigate in a short space of time. Both my children and I enjoyed the murals and statues. We plan to visit again when we can take our time and really appreciate the space more fully. Overall, Graw Alley is a nice place to tap into the rich local history of Havre de Grace.

Spent the morning walking here. The art is very representative of the mixed life that HD has had over its time, as well as paying homage to local heroes. There are plans to open an art store & gallery in front. Looking forward to it. If you like street art, or mural painting definetely something to see.

Truly vile place to have to live. I can count on one hand the number of nice, normal, sane individuals I have known here. I had the great misfortune of having been born here, and I can't wait to leave.

The trail was very easy to navigate, with a couple of easy water crossings a long the way. The trail is definitely a moderate and has some decent hills here and there but nothing that can't be managed... Everyone out there was very friendly.

Good for a day hiking or camping at night. Many trails with light to moderate difficulty. Also have options of fishing, includes some architectural pieces like an old mansion and a big furnace in midst of state park.

There are 2 loops for camping. Needs some TLC. Roads need some attention and were narrow, branches need to be cut back on the narrow roads. The campsites were generous, but we had a 4” slope, so getting into our camper was a climb. Once you are on the trails they are well marked but finding the beginning of the trail was challenging. Bath/shower house were in the middle of the loop and modern and clean. It is situated well with some historical buildings within the park. We enjoyed ourselves, it just needed some TLC.

Very clean, nice site. spaces/not on top of each other. Clean and maintained bathhouse with laundry and a space for dishes available. Water pumps close by and portapoties available around the campsite.

Great trails for hiking. Clean trails, you can tell people pack in and pack out. Plenty of cool little gems to find as you hike.

Friendly and helpful staff. Humid but the shading from the beautiful trees on the trail we hiked was helpful. Campsites are spacious, with firepits, grills, and tables. Bathroom has electricity, soap, toilet paper, and warm water. There are showers and a laundry. Enjoyable time!

Went here for my son's field trip and had a great time!! Staff was incredibly kind and informative to both myself and the children. Everyone had a great time and stayed engaged. I would highly recommend checking them out!!!

Sadly, we found the museum to be closed when we arrived. The grounds are quite lovely, and we enjoyed photographing the tractors that line that entryway. I hope to return some point when the museum is open.

It was a nice sightseeing trip. They had vendors and pumpkin painting. My 1 yr old daughter likes the puppets “Horn’s Punch and Judy Show”.

Fun place to check out if you are out for a drive, lots of open space and don't forget to check in with the Harford County Quilt Barn Tour Map with a selfie there. If you like old farm equipment, there are plenty of tractors and pieces out to see and photograph.

I had a great time at the Karma Fest here! Glad I attended with family, loved the music, classes, and vendors. Learned some things while there about the farm.

Went for their folk and bluegrass festival. Wandered the property for a bit and it was very nice. Festival was really well run, great local bands for the first year. Just wish there was some more food truck options there that day.

Beautiful property. We were there on a Saturday, but did not see any volunteers or staff. All the buildings were locked, but the property was open for exploring the grounds.

A beautiful lasting tribute to those who gave “the last full measure of devotion.” For everyday is memorial day to a gold star family.

We love walking the Joe K trail! It is a wonderful mix of shady woods, and breezy waterfront trails. Today we saw lots of turtles sunning themselves on logs in the pond, and a beautiful doe ran across our path!

Beautiful little place for the playground it's never too crowded!! And nature is everywhere!!

One of my favorite spots to walk in Havre! Just a quick note, Google maps doesn't take you to the right area to park. It takes you on a street where there's no parking and down a one way you can't go down. Take "N Adams" street onto "Park Dr." The Loop Trail address will take you to an area you can't park at. There's no rest rooms here, but the whole trail will take 45 minutes to walk if you're walking fast. Slow walkers about an hr or so. There's a sign that says, "Joe's Trail" and on the side of that sign there's a box with maps of the trail in it. There's an area in the woods where you'll pass over a of TON of broken glass that comes off the hill from some unknown area and it enters the waterway. Extremely disappointed in this. Be careful walking your dogs through there. You'll be able to see it, it's hard to miss there's so much of it. At the end of the trail there's a fire pit right by the water on a sandy beach. There's seating for a small gathering. There's also another small fire pit inbetween the connecting trails. You'll also see Turtle pond. Pet friendly. Kid friendly. This area really reminds me of a hobbit trail. I feel like I'm about to walk into the lord of the rings or something. Lol. Really cute!

Went fishing with my husband there. It was really calm and relaxing. He caught one fish before my phone died and I couldn't get more photos, but the walking trail along the river is absolutely awesome.

We call it Squirrel Park. Great place for Children to run and play. Bird and Squirrels abundant

This is a perfect location if you like wide open green fields with a wide, asphalt walking track. It has quite a bit of convenient parking. It seems popular with people walking their dogs.

Trash cans for dog waste along walkable paved trail. Signs reminding about need for leash. Loads of parking. Little to no cover on a hot sunny day so I go when it is cool and cloudy.

It has a good, near level track for walking and jogging. Views are nice and very little traffic when no sporting events are taking place.

Really nice facility. The Ladies' restrooms were soo clean and well maintained.

Amazing place to train. However, the track is lacking some much needed care. Half of the track is just concrete and the other half is very thin rubber that provides zero bounce. Other than that, the bleachers are very nice as well as the bathrooms, the best in Harford County Public Schools. Another inconvenience is that you are unable to use the goals as they are locked to the fence. Other than that I highly recommend this stadium for all athletics excluding track & field.

It's great they gave lights I just wish they leave them on longer but other then that I love the courts!!!!

My son is playing football there this year fir the youth league and the stadium is beautiful except for handicap patrons coming for the home team have a long distance to walk from the gates to the home team bleachers

It's probably one of the best high school stadiums in Harford County. Great parking.

One of the nicer high school complexes in the county. Though needs an area for teams to properly warm up prior to games.

Not impressed. Large dog side had little grass and there were areas on the fence that need to be better secured. We have went a few times and no other pups for mine to play with. Ma & Pa Dog Park is much better.

Thankful the City provides us a fenced area to take our dogs. Has both large and small dog areas. Nice place. Has great shade and sunny areas. Poop bags provided (though some folks still don't pick up thier dogs poop🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️). The owners and thier dogs encountered so far have been very kind and friendly.

Nice dog park. Separate sides for large and small dogs. Lots of shade trees. Grass is kept mowed and fence line trimmed. There is a pet & human water fountain. A bench on each side provides a place to sit and watch your dogs. Lots of room for them to run.

2 fenced in areas. Large/small dog. Need to bring your own chairs. Very basic...small areas for the dogs. No other dogs on the Sunday I was there.

Never very busy, and I love the separation between large and small dogs, but the small dog area isn't much smaller so they still have room to run. They have poo bags and shovels so you can pick up after your doggos, and there's water bowls and shade. Very pretty area

I would use this more if the gate between small and large dog area was adjusted properly to keep the little dogs from sneaking to the large dog side. I would have fixed it myself if I had tools and wouldn't get in trouble for doing something to city property. Twenty minute tops to adjust gates.

Small Fenced Park best suited for small dogs. Do not go for several days after it rains, the area is mostly shaded and becomes very muddy... quickly especially with larger dogs. All the Amenities that the Town has.... this is not one. If you have a larger dog that needs to run, IM me on fb and I’ll inform you of some safe, local areas.
