Wasn't very crowded or busy Aug 25 2025 arrived close to 7pm not much of a sunset as it was really cloudy. Waves were strong from the previous hurricane.

Bethany Beach boardwalk and downtown business district has a delightful and manageable mix of retail shops and dining establishments on a beautiful and well maintained beach. All geared towards the love of the beach area without the hub bub of other entertainment. If you prefer amusement park rides and mini golf spots and arcade game establishments...this boardwalk isn't for you. If you prefer quieter...then Bethany Beach Boardwalk is perfect.

Such a beautiful town. The boardwalk is nice to walk around and see the beautiful beach. Lots of food and parking options during their “off season “ I learned it’s an entirely different experience: very busy in the summers.

I’ve visited here with family several times and have really enjoyed my experience. Overall it’s a welcoming, family friendly experience with lots of activities often associated with the beach as a pastime. Bethany Beach has it all including an arcade, ice cream, fried food, sea gulls, and of course a beautiful beach. It isn’t a spot for more party oriented activities associated with young adult crowds and that behavior seems well under control. I’d recommend this for families looking for a clean and fun beach getaway.

Beautiful quaint small town feel. Great restaurants and shops. The beach gets crowded in the afternoon, peaceful at sunrise. I come here every other year for a week or so. The perfect place to do nothing.

Not the typical boardwalk experience, it’s more or less a street with shops/food etc. and a small traditional boardwalk area. Either way cute shops, good snacks and dessert items. Loved the bookstore with local area book options with history of the area/state and surrounding states.

Bethany Beach is located about 1/2 hr from Rehoboth Beach, DE; about halfway to Ocean City, MD beach. I wish we had more time during our recent visit. Would have chosen to hang out more at Bethany beach. We went on a Friday so maybe not as many visitors yet but noticed it is still less crowded and quieter than both beaches I mentioned; cleaner - has landscaped traffic islands and the boardwalk is well maintained; smaller boardwalk area but has enough stores/eateries. High sand dunes between the ocean/beach and the boardwalk/buildings. There are pathways to the water. I noticed foot washing stations. Restrooms by the boardwalk. Learned about the umbrella rental by Steen's Beach Service, which I wish I knew on our previous trips here. By the hour @$8, by day or weekly (see photo for rates). After paying, they brought the umbrella and secured it at the spot of our choosing. Also has beach chair rental. up to 5pm. There are metered parking spots also. Easy to use with a credit card or coins, by license plate. We were able to add increments of 1/2 hour. Tip: we've driven up and down the DE-MD beaches and it's not a bad drive- as much as we can, we tried to check out each town/boardwalk/beach, attractions if any, restaurants.

Amazing! The attendant was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on wildlife nature. Got to see one Osprey nests! Amazing trail!

Stopped for a quick visit at the nature walk. It’s about a 30 min engagement with some neat nature sightseeing. We saw many birds and I was able to capture some Osprey in their natural habitat.

We had such a wonderful experience at Nick’s Mini Golf at Dino Land in Bethany Beach! Elizabeth was incredibly helpful, kind, and enthusiastic about serving us, and her warm energy really made our visit special. The entire staff was friendly and attentive, even bringing us water to help us stay cool. Our resident had a fantastic time playing, and everyone who relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful view left with big smiles. Highly recommend for fun, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere!

This was a highlight of our most recent trip to Bethany Beach. I am not sure how we have missed it in previous years, but we won't skip it going forward. First, there's a nice playground right beyond the historic house which functions as the visitor center. It is a pretty standard climbable play structure with monkey bars and a slide. Our two year old had a good time going up and down over and over. The next thing we checked out was the demonstration garden of native plants. It was getting on in the season so many of the species were done flowering, but there were still many late summer blooms to check out, absolutely swarming with pollinators. Then there was a nature walk that went out into a marsh area, where we were able to see several osprey going about their business. This part of the nature reserve had little shade which made it a bit oppressive in the heat of the day, but that's just how it is when you're in the middle of a wetland. Overall it was a great visit for families.

Very nice trails. Interesting children’s program. Presenter was not very kid friendly. In addition, when informed that toilet paper was out, simply said “we don’t have more”

A fine little nature center with a stroller accessible 0.8 mi out and back trail that includes a boardwalk above a marshland and plenty of opportunities to spy an osprey. The small playground makes this a nice way to spend an hour or so with kiddos

Small playground and short cute boardwalk. In winter not a lot of wildlife to see. But there are two osprey nests and a view of the marsh in winter. It's a nice diversion for little kids to get a taste of winter. Building was closed today so no idea what's inside.

Best Rehoboth Beach Happy Hour! Delicious happy hour food and drink specials (daily 4 - 6 pm) on the patio with friendly staff and quality live music? Upscale and beautifully decorated too? Sign us up! Fresh seafood and local produce abound as well as lots of other selections. Award-winning wines as well as a huge selection of tantalizing cocktails await. I can’t wait to return!

Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks and attentive service. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. On top of everything we had, which was so delicious, we ran into a few friends from back home so this seems like the place to be when in Bethany. Highly recommend this and can't wait to be back.

My dining experience at Blue Coast Seafood Grill Bethany Beach Delaware was exceptional. Arrived just after opening at 4 pm and the bar area was already full, but easily got a booth at the back windows. What a view of the sunset! Service was outstanding and food was great. Prices during the off-season were more reasonable than summer and no wait for tables. Definitely on my list of top places to eat, especially during late fall.

We came in a bit early for Sunday dinner and were surprised by how occupied the dining room already was. With two little ones in tow, the staff kindly rearranged things to seat us at a booth — super accommodating and thoughtful. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, knowledgeable, and easygoing; they know their product and audience and can deliver a great meal with zero pretentiousness in the atmosphere. Attire: upscale casual. The food was equally impressive. The burrata special was fresh and the flavors of summer were perfectly cradled- cantaloupe, watermelon, corn, etc. The blackened North Carolina swordfish entrée did not disappoint: beautifully plated over peaches, watercress, corn, and basil; the chef’s kiss was the honeysuckle vinaigrette. One of the best seasonal dishes I’ve had in a while. No secret why this is a staple for Locals. Some other details I appreciated: “Free Spirits” options (non-alcoholic wine), the consolidated but phenomenal dessert menu, and the hostesses greeting us and saying goodnight to us with equal courtesy and grace both times. Thank you to the staff for a splendid evening- we will be back!

This was our first restaurant in Bethany Beach- Recommended by some friends from the area. We came here on a Wednesday evening and there was a 30min wait. No big deal! They were busy, and we were seated before the estimated wait time. The oyster shooters could use some work. I wish they used a different filler Instead of using the shucking water. It dilutes the vodka and made the shot too big to shoot! The hot and Briney was a spicy take on a martini- it was good and the little bit of heat added to the flavor. The soup we got, I forgot the name, but it tasted more like tomato soup than any hints of seafood. Disappointed in this one. The steamed clams came out perfect, as did t the kids chicken tenders. The green beans were surprisingly good- perfect crunch and tenderness. The oyster flight was our favorite part- enjoying the locations and flavor profiles from surrounding areas. The crab cake entree was one of the blandest I’ve had- they added mayonnaise or mustard- it felt like they “deviled” the crab cake like they do with eggs - not sure but the flavors didn’t allow the crab to shine through. The fries were another disappointment- just not good. All in all, the raw bar is worth the money but be careful what entrees you order! I do not think we’ll be back to this place, as there are many other options. The atmosphere was crowded where we sat, if they had some more space between tables it would be nice!

Arrived at 4:30 and was unable to get happy hour pricing. Main dining area is a little cafeteria-ish and loud. Server was good. Deluxe sampler was very good. Crab cakes were good but overpriced at $48.

WELCOME: We were a family group of 10 on a summer Monday and called to check seating availability at 7:30pm. After being told to arrive immediately, half of us rushed out to secure the table. By 7:45 we were standing in the crowded bar trying to get the frenzied bartenders attention while we waited on the rest of our group to arrive. Once they did we were shown to a large round table in the corner. There was not much air circulation but it was nice to be able to sit together instead of splitting into 6 and 4, which is what we had been prepared to do with such a large group. SERVICE: Our waiter was charming but could not possibly have come around to serve the far reaches of this table. BEVERAGE: I do have to mention that the wine we ordered was a different year than what was listed on the wine menu. When it arrived at our table we called attention to that but no price adjustment was forthcoming. Perhaps the wine menu should not be that specific, or the wine cellar made larger. FOOD: The food was tasty and overall well-executed. We ordered the BlueCoast Tots ($17), Fried Calamari ($17) and Mussels ($16) to share. We also shared 2 dozen PEI oysters. My husband had the Lobster Cavatappi ($34) and the spiral pasta was the right vehicle to convey the delicate white cheddar and bacon sauce. I chose the Wedge Salad ($16) with a broiled Crab Cake. It was a good crab cake despite being on the smaller side, and since we’re close enough to the Maryland state border I made an exception to my self-imposed rule of never ordering crab cakes outside of Maryland. The Daily Fish Board offers a choice from 3 fish, and this week it was being served over cous-cous and grilled peaches. Our companion who ordered the salmon was very happy. DÉCOR: With all the glass and wood that makes it a chic place, it’s quite loud, so brace yourself.

Only stopped by for quick lunch after a day on the beach and the boardwalk, would definitely come back for dinner. Food was good and reasonably priced. Ocean view deck was stunning. The indoors is very nice as well

Mangos food was good overall. I was disappointed they could not do shrimp in the quesadilla instead of chicken as they seemed to be a seafood restaurant focused on creativity of flavors and excellent service. Anyway, the service was solid and the view was nice. The crab cakes were good enough

Nothing bad to write here! I had the nachos and they were THE BEST! Scotty was a great bartender, made my drinks exactly to my liking despite my critiques…and did I mention the nachos! Can’t wait to come back, love the atmosphere and the people I met :)

Took my parents to lunch to celebrate a belated mother's day and early father's day. It was busy but no real wait (5 minutes) for a table. Got a booth right near a window overlooking the ocean. Great ambiance in the place, fun decor, good views and location right on the boardwalk. Bar area was busy, as was the outdoor deck seating. Food was good, we all liked what we had (though I wanted the salmon but it was sold out, so that was disappointing, but also tells me it must be good/popular to sell out). Pricing varies depending on what you want, food dishes ranged on average from $15-$35, some seafood options were market price. Cocktails were fairly priced and well made.

Gorgeous views and surprisingly. Good food. Certainly the best spinach and crab dip we ever had. Lumps of crab and flavorful spinach great pork sliders and their mango creamy dressing is memorable indeed

Scotty is amazing! Her cocktails are some of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly mixed and full of flavor. She’s friendly, fast, and makes the whole experience fun. The nachos were also incredible — cheesy, loaded, and delicious. Great drinks, great food, great vibes — Scotty nailed it!

Came here the other day for lunch, it was my first time eating here but I will definitely be back. The bartender “Scotty” was lovely and had great knowledge of the menu. I was hesitant to get the nachos but she reassured me that they wouldn’t disappoint, and they definitely didn’t. The Caribbean atmosphere was very welcoming and so was Scotty.

This was the first time I went to a De beach. It was a super windy day but I really enjoyed the beach. I will be back

Bethany Beach has a lot of history. I didn't notice the historic signs until I visited today. This beach has cozy feel to it. It has shops, food place, and very dogfriendly during off season. I always come here when I'm vacationing in Dewey Beach/Rehoboth Beach. Bethany Beach is only 11 miles South of Dewey Beach. Because I visit during off season, parking is never an issue, and it is not crowded at all, which I prefer.

Wonderful place and nicely maintained. Memorial Day concert on Saturday evening was awesome.

It was really crowded. I now understand why it looked like that. Everyone was sitting away from the water, closer to the opening knot the beach. So it looked crowded. We went a little further north, away from the band stand, about 1/2 of a mile north and people were sitting a lil closer to the water. There we were able to get a better spot.

This farmers market is small but the quality of vendors is very high. Lots of produce, peaches, baked goods, honey, meat, seafood and more.

Fun and enjoyable atmosphere

Great place. Been a couple times and food delivers. This trip wasn’t that hungry and went with deviled eggs and Mac and cheese. Both top tier. My cohort got a Cuban who also really enjoyed. In the past I’ve got the ribs and spilt with them with a girlfriend and they were a perfect amount of food and didn’t break the bank. Overall good spot for BBQ by the beach

Full service bar and top notch BBQ, Philly cheese steak, salads and more. Everything we had was very good. Service was friendly and prompt. The bar also has a shockingly extensive bourbon and whiskey menu. Don't just look at the menu because the top shelf has some unlisted surprises. Recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing everything was cool perfectly came out hot and pretty quick. The service wasn’t too bad they didn’t seem super tentative from the moment we walked in and until we left.

This place is always an awesome stop. We try to come here for brunch on Sundays. Our server Morgan was fantastic and pointed out all the specials and helped give us recommendations when we were undecided. The cornbread pancakes are incredible as is Morgan’s Bloody Mary. We were stuffed and happy as we left. This place is awesome.

Nestled in the heart of Bethany Beach, Bethany Blues is a warm and inviting barbecue-and-bourbon spot known for its house-smoked Delmarva-style comfort food and spirited, laid-back vibe. My Maker’s Mark paired well with the grilled flat iron steak that was cooked over smoky mesquite wood and unleashed a bold, charred flavor complimented by onion frizzles and flavorful mashed potatoes. Well worth a visit next time you’re in Bethany Beach.

Update to my original review: After a disappointing visit last summer, I was contacted directly by the manager who genuinely apologized and offered to make things right. I recently returned with a party of 9, to give the restaurant another try. This time, the experience was much better. I had the scallops wrapped in bacon, overall delicious, We also tried the baby back ribs again. As a St. Louis native, I know it’s tough to beat true STL ribs, but I have to admit the baby back ribs were really tasty in their own right. I appreciated the follow-up and the effort to improve our impression. It shows they care about their customers and take feedback seriously. Looking forward to returning again next summer and seeing what’s new!

We love Bethany Blues. We have been going here for years. The menu has offerings for everyone in our family from vegetarian to gluten free. When we have guests in town we often take them to Blues for dinner or grab carry out. The brisket nachos are always a favorite, the bbq is delicious and they have a nice variety of salad options. If you have a chance to try brunch, I highly recommend it. The brunch menu has a nice variety of items for breakfast or lunch.

One of my favorite book stores at the beach! I love taking a walk down the boardwalk and stopping by Bethany Beach Books. There’s a huge selection with clear sections including top sellers/charts, staff picks, a Taylor Swift area, local MD reads and all of the typical genres of books for adults, YA & children. They have lots of options for book merch including bookmarks, calendars, bags and more. When I went for St. Patrick’s Day weekend, if you wanted a surprise, you could choose a “Feeling Lucky?” book that gave a little bit of information but was wrapped, so it was essentially a blind date with a book! They also now have “The Book Drop”, a monthly subscription service grab bag! There’s signed books available and they often do author signing events. So many options for books, goodies & events - sign up for their email list for updates.

Just discovered your bookstore, and wow—we're obsessed! The vibe was chill, the staff was super helpful, and the book selection? Absolutely on point! We spent what seemed like a lifetime browsing, fell in love with several local children’s books, and left with $200 of, what I’m sure will be, our new favorite reads. Thanks for being the highlight of our Bethany Beach adventure! The signed copies were a huge plus!

Cute little book store near the beach. Drove from Ocean City to check it out. They have a great selection, found a good Orioles book that I had never seen anywhere else. My wife thinks the romantasy section was a little small and we all know how popular that is right now, however the selection in that section was great. The lady working the store was very nice I wish I could remember her name. This is definitely a spot we will return to!

I absolutely loved spending time in this book store! Organized in way that makes shopping fun, there is so much to see and discover! The displays had me picking up books left and right. I enjoyed chatting books with the staff, and the staff recommendations and synopses on the shelves! I left with three sets of adorable, nautical postcards from a Maryland artist and some pins!

My seven year old requested to go to a bookstore on vacation and this bookstore was perfect! It's not huge, but has a wonderful selection of middle grade books. You could easily spend an hour or two browsing. Definitely worth a visit while near the boardwalk.

Excellent employees, very knowledgeable and friendly! Decent selection for a small bookstore, with some less popular books to discover. I love it when a beach bookstore focuses on the books instead of trying to be books & gifts.

This bookshop has a mix of beach reads and literature, as well as a children’s’ story hour ($5, you can apply this towards purchase of book) and nice selection of picture books. However, when I was there on a Monday morning, it felt rather unwelcoming - may have been just a fluke.

Very friendly - accommodating to my 8 yr old snd wife. Course was in excellent shape especially for this time of year! We all had a great time and my wife shot her first par…..will definitely be back!

Sorry but no pics. Salt Pond is a beautiful little community with a great little 18 hole executive gold course. Made a tee time and Played on a Monday morning . Was met at my car by a gentleman bringing me my golf cart for the day and he also gave me instructions for payment as well as course layout (excellent). This course is mostly par 3’s with the occasional par 4 mixed in. Back 9 is definitely more challenging than the front 9. This course does have a putting green and a driving range ( not large and into a netted area). I did not see a refreshment cart but they do have a halfway house for refreshments and food with tables. The only reason this course does not get 5 stars ⭐️ is some tee boxes and greens need work.

Fun par 61 course. Two holes have large water hazards so unless you are a consistent driver, you're liable to lose some golf balls in the drink. Plan to play again when we visit the beach next summer.

Great little course with some challenging holes. Mostly par 3’s with a few par 4’s sprinkled in. My son and I went in early August and the course was in really good shape. They take good care of the greens. You will finish in about three hours unless some guy decides to jump out in front of you. They could do a better job of moving slower players along and not just placing singles in between groups, but overall will go back again. Good price and nice little course.

Excellent part 3/part 4 Golf course. Well maintained and can be very challenging. Great staff and and wonderful day to play golf!

Wonderful pickleball courts. Gorgeous swimming pool very large and can do laps. Im not a golfer but the facilities and greens should satisfy any active person

A short course that can be played as all par 3’s if desired. Otherwise there are some short par fours. A good place to practice your short game and they keep it in decent shape.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant. It did not disappoint! We had the garlic bread which was probably the best garlic bread I’ve ever had, it is way more than just garlic bread! Homemade loaf of bread was perfect on its own merit but then they add to it cheese and whole cloves of roasted garlic. The best! My wife had the Chianti braised short ribs over mushroom risotto. I was able to try it and it was outstanding. She loved it. I was torn between chicken Parm and lasagna and our excellent server Gianna, was nice enough to suggest that I get the Bolognese sauce over the pasta as a way to kind of “have it all”. It was very good. Will definitely want to try this spot again. From looking at some of the other dishes, if you are a big eater, you may want to ask your server for suggestions. The salads and apps that we saw at other tables look delicious but small. Not so much for sharing. Anyway, would definitely recommend this spot and do plan to come back. They offer high-quality foods that are cooked very well.

We chose DiFebo's for our Anniversary dinner with friends and it was our first time visiting. We were impressed from the time we were seated, as the atmosphere was very nice and wow were we thrilled with how our server Maria G treated us. She made great recommendations and made certain everything was just right. The food was very good! All of us enjoyed the Caesar's Salad, and commented it was the best we'd had. All of our meals were prepared as we asked, and I went for the special bone in Veal Chop with Penne pasta topped with lump crab meat, and loved every bite of it! We're already planning to dine here again on our next trip to Dagsboro! Again, Maria G. deserves some kudos for outstanding service!

Have come here twice now and had two excellent dinners! Got the vodka sauce most recently and it was delicious!

I wish I could give half stars bc this would get 4.5/5 if I could. This spot was cute. Not a ton of parking but also not too bad and we all ended up finding spots. We came to celebrate my sister in laws bday! They have a super weird rule where if you have a large party, you can’t order your appetizers before your entrées? Kind of a bummer since we were pretty hungry and no one knew exactly what we wanted, but we all did know we wanted apps. The waiter ran a tight ship of when you could order drinks and apps, etc. but maybe it helped to keep him organized? Drinks were all pretty good, I like led the cocktails and the mocktails! I got the braised short ribs over mushroom risotto and it was excellent. Everything was perfectly cooked and I ate every last drop. My husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law all got different pasta dishes and their pasta was cooked perfectly. We all enjoyed the Calamari and bread. Portions sizes were fairly normal, only one to go box and lots of full and happy people. Our waiter sang to the birthday girl in Italian and it was a lovely dinner out!

We have an amazing dinner at DeFebo’s restaurant last night. From the food, service, and atmosphere it was just a wonderful experience. Our waiter Michael M made the experience top notch. He is a gem, and was the best waiter we’ve ever had (we eat out a lot, so that really is saying no something). He really knew the menu and gave us wonderful recommendations. Not pictured here is our entrees, but the lasagna (we added a chicken cutlet - Michael’s recommendation), and it was the best lasagna we’ve ever had. The garlic bread app is pictured here, and it was wonderful as well. I don’t think you could go wrong getting anything in the menu though! My new favorite Italian restaurant!

The food here was great! Felt like I was back in Italy for dinner. Great staff and food is affordable. We can’t wait to come back here!

The chicken parm was outstanding. And the homemade gnocchi was delicious. Also the Cesar salad was so good. Will be back again. Next vacation.

Have been to several Grotto Pizza restaurants in Delaware over the years and generally speaking the experience has been average. The pizza is average and other menu items such as sub sandwiches vary. On my most recent visit dining in, the chicken cheese steak was not good; the chopped chicken was very dry and there was minimal cheese. Disappointing. Service dining in is better than average but have had issues in the recent past with take out. Specifically incorrect toppings. Atmosphere dining is has always been better than average.

Some of the best pizza you will ever taste. The presentation itself is pretty cool: pizza sauce and cheese presented in swirling pattern on the pie. But, it doesn’t stop there. They have a blend of seasonings in the sauce that just pops with every bite. Definitely oregano and garlic, not heavy on onions or peppers. A perfect balance of sweet and tang. The sauce is intertwined with a tasty blend of mozzarella and cheddar, giving the cheese a nice bite. The crust is thin, but not a cracker. It has great flavor, and you can taste the ‘burnt’ underside from the ovens. We also decided to order a caprese salad with balsamic glaze. If I didn’t love the pizza so much, I would’ve eaten that all night. There was a healthy portion of tomato chunks in with arugula, drizzled with that sweet glaze along with sweet, creamy slices of mozzarella. Yum! Definitely, an alternative if you don’t want pizza. The XL pizza is our usual order, and the pie plate is cleaned off easily. Also, don’t forget to drink it down with PA Dutch birch beer. The two just go getter so well. The combination will become a staple for eating at the shore. I wish they were nation-wide.

This grotto pizza serves good food and is consistent. Sometimes I get the feeling the employees are overwhelmed by our party size which is between 4 and 8 usually. Service is usually a bit slow but manageable. The white Hawaiian is my new go to.

Went for lunch and it was not busy. Ordered a gluten free pizza big enough for two people. The toppings and bread was really good! It is very relax atmosphere. This location has an accessible parking lot. If you have a big group they are able to accommodate. I bookmarked this place to go again.

Horrible! I ordered a buffalo chicken boli on line, with tip paid just under $18. You will see the size comparison in photo next to my wallet. I thought the woman handing me this tiny box grabbed the wrong order. I got my money back and walked out. TO THE GREEDY OWNER, I HOPE YOU ARE EMBARRASSED, but I doubt you are or even care. Never again.

We recently visited this Grotto location and had a fantastic experience. Our server, Kendel, was tremendous and patient with the two young kids in our party. The food was delicious and fairly priced. Thanks for the great meal!

Food was only ok and the server was a little impolite...we asked her for straws for our drinks and she gave us an attitude. Also for some reason they had a box fan blowing directly on our table for the whole meal I wouldn't go back there it was below average for a restaurant.

This review is of the new "Claw Mania" location in Fenwick. My kids are claw machine lovers and were so excited to have a place less than a half an hour from us that had so many claw machines. This location is attached to Vikings Mini Golf so we played mini golf first then went to the arcade. This is a completely unmanned arcade. I understand of course that when you play claw games you're taking a gamble but itis really disappointing when it is clear that every game that isn't a guaranteed win (which are $5-$8 per play) is rigged. Claw machines that purposefully don't even grip so you have no chance at winning aren't fun. Even though we made the best of it we won't return. For crane game enthusiasts I recommend Kako claw in Annapolis where they actually encourage winning and prizes are awesome!

Our kids had so much fun and the people working there were so great to us. They gave everyone at the time a heads up they close at 11. Literally let us play out our credits and our last play got 1000 credit on some spin. Our kids were so excited and the guy behind the counter could not have been more patient. Really appreciated him and everyone here. The Game selections are great too they have something for everyone.

Fantastic arcade! The games are reasonably priced and there are so many options available to play. My whole family loves a good arcade and this is definitely one of the best ones we've ever been to. If you're in the area, definitely check it out! Only thing is, is that it's on the second floor so there's a few stairs to climb however there may be an elevator, I honestly didn't even check. Totally worth it though. So fun!

Probably one of the BEST arcades I have been to with the variety of games and prices and the wonderful prizes you can win! The staff are always so amazing as well! We stop here every year while on vacation! :)

This is a GREAT place right in the center of Bethany beach and near the beach. It has a good selection of arcade games and is easy to get tickets and choose from a large selection of prizes.

The items sold in this store are beautiful and really cool and most of them hand made. The staff are friendly and the store is neat, organized, and clean. The store is quaint and cool. The store has great quality items at a range of prices. The things I did purchase are great quality and managed to stay intact during my long trip back from Bethany beach. I'd definitely visit this store again when I get the chance.

I have been going to Bethany Beach every summer for about 15 years and shopping at the The Blue Room is something I look forward to every year. Kandy Kitchen has been a favorite for decades. We buy taffy and fudge there every time we come to Bethany. A great treat for all ages.

Decent candy store, prices OK for a tourist area. Chocolate was OK, but not great. The Salt Water Taffy was not the best I've ever had.

Everything has gotten expensive, so can't make everything at hope its a sweet treat to enjoy ☺. Once a year is a fun thing cant go to the beach with out stopping by at least 1 time.

Terrible service. The candy kitchen down the boardwalk has much nicer staff. Will not go to this one again.

Delicious food by the ocean, you get what you paid for: quality food from a sandwich to their seafood and steaks. I highly recommend if you want to treat yourself or a special someone. I don’t give a 5 star because they only offer bread and butter to people that order certain items on the menu; that should be a standard for all your guest our if curtesy for the wait time.

Mothers Day Buffet. Was almost double the price of all the other buffets in the area for basically the same options. That said we decided to go here for a more upscale atmosphere. We had a great time and service was great and loved the food. Not sure if I'd spend the money again for a "buffet", but no regrets either. Probably worth the trip for the regular menu and dining experience as well.

The quality of the food was excellent. The sauces they make are very creamy; keep that in mind when ordering. It was lovely sitting so close to the beach. Our server was friendly and attentive but he was definitely over-worked. We sat around a little longer then we would have liked, but with the atmosphere, it wasnt a hassle.

Gorgeous venue with an ocean view and refreshingly themed interior. The food options offered fresh takes on classics: Truffle fries drizzled with honey and lobster mac and cheese with a corkscrew pasta. The drink selection was vast. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Professional and friendly. Fresh greens. Steamed Shrimp with Old bay was excellent and tender. Sweet potato fries were crispy and just salty enough. Brussels sprouts were tasty and meat free.

Wonderful appetizers, drinks, and service. We were disappointed in our entree. Ordered the filet and lobster tail at $75 per person, a little pricey. The lobster was overcooked and tasteless. It came with champagne lobster sauce but there wasn't nearly enough to make up for the rubbery lobster. Everything else was so good that I would go back, but I would order very differently

Much better than expected being connected to a hotel. Upscale dining with a nice atmosphere. Not a ton of fish options but we were very happy with the results of everything we ordered.

My favorite library around for multiple reasons. The staff is always amazingly friendly and helpful. The library as a whole is extremely well maintained and very clean every time I visit. The programs they offer are great, the support they offer to the community is fantastic as well whether it's can food drives, pet donations, art projects and competitions for all ages. They have a broad range of items offered for all ages. This library isn't the biggest out there but it feels cozy and comfortable to all the patrons. I love that they offer puzzle exchanges, as well as having a puzzle out for the public to work on is a great idea. Nothing but great things to say about South Coastal Library. Always love going and chatting with the staff about recommendations. Keep up the great work!

Excellent facility. Bright and clean. I came here for 6-7 hours a day almost every day for a few weeks to study for a professional exam and this library was an excellent study space. I always sat at the big tables towards the back of the building and I never had any issues with loudness or distractions (although this was during the off-season so I cannot attest to how busy it may be in the summertime).

Very well run storytime and lovely children’s area. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful library with a wide variety of resources, books, videos, audiobooks, and more. The parking lot is crowded in the summer however, there is plenty of parking most of the year. They offer many children's and adult programs. I highly recommend this wonderful library.

They offer a mix of fresh and frozen seafood. Their shrimps are fresh and taste good. Slightly overpriced although I understand fresh seafood can be pricey but I think they’re on the higher end. They also offer some great fruit pies.

I lived in NYC for years. As a result, I was fortunate enough to have access to some of the freshest seafood in the world. I cook a lot -- and I'm really, really picky when it comes to buying fish. And let me tell you...this place has the freshest / best in the area. The salmon and halibut are standouts -- but I've never had even a mediocre piece of fish from this place. Five stars and two thumbs up.

The seafood is very fresh at a good price. Best seafood in town hands down. We went here on a recommendation from a friend and they did not let down. The salmon is excellent, the swordfish, the list goes on. Check this place out it’s really good!

The Seafood Bisque - to die for ! Hesitated at the $7.95, but WOW is it worth it. Brought some back to Michigan :-) AND as someone else mentioned, the Shrimp Salad is outstanding

Nice Kayak ramp for dropping kayak into the river, I wished there was more parking spaces, we got the last one, and I wished they used an electronic method for paying the state park fees, either a machine or an online service like Venmo or Park Mobile.

Such a nice walk! Flat, clean, even a clean bathroom. We scrambled to find $8 in cash topay for parking - no credit cards or phone payments accepted - you must deposit a pay envelope. You have to cross a street once. Threre quite a few bikers on the trail but people are nice and share the trail.

Not easy to find. Look for Town road. Assawoman Canal Trailhead park has a easy nature walk that takes you along a canal. Upsetting to find some residents - that buts up to the state park - dump their vegetation waste - in large piles - near or into the state property.

This is a nice, well maintained gravel tail that follows a section of the canal. It has many homes that back up to it so be respectful of private property, there are some signs reminding everyone of this also.

Nice little parking lot with bathrooms along the canal. Short bike trail also.

Great place for a not so long a walk. Good variety of birds; there is something different each time we go. Today we saw a couple of Great Blue Herons.

Bought my daughter a boogie board. She had it in the water for 10 minutes and it bubbled. Brought it back the next day and was refused an exchange for new because I "must have left it in the sun".

Junk toys and junk service. My son has been saving up for a souvenir for months. We walked in with a piggy bank with a couple dollars in change. Saw something for $3.99 When we went to the register the cashier said “oh no. That’s $6.99.” I answered the sticker says $3.99? She ripped the sticker off and said “well he’s pricing it wrong it’s $6.99.” Stunned and taken off guard I just went with it. However, this was terrible service. She had a little five-year-old with a piggy bank of quarters. Did she really need that extra $3? No. She was unprofessional and I wont be shopping here again. My family comes to Bethany at least twice a year. I'll be happy to give someone else my business.

First time visiting Bethany Beach. This shop have a little bit of everything, good for one stop shop. If your kids are looking for toys and souvenirs this is the place. Good prices. Staff and owner are super nice and friendly.

Fun selection of beach essentials and kids' toys - although a few higher-quality items would be nice. Great prices. One of the shop owners (I assume- since they are both there each of the several times I've been in) is extremely friendly and helpful, and the other isn't. The shop is well organized.

Amazing store! Has most things you need at the beach and you can’t beat their price for apparels. And they aren’t just cheap quality. The staffs are so helpful and friendly as well. I wanted an xl with specific color and print but couldn’t find it. But the staff got new xl shirt printed right on that spot for me! I was able to get it before I left the area for my sister’s birthday. Overall, great place to shop with helpful staffs and a great price!

Absolutely disgusted. I paid $148 for a mediocre course at best. First off, the help was not nice at all. Second, the course does not provide any water stations, or bathrooms, besides after the turn. Third, for what I paid, I play a course way better and help way nicer, for $65 at home with a cart. I will never be back. Never want to be back. Don’t waste your money here seriously. The only reason it is not a zero star is due to the greens being nice. The carts don’t even provide an electronic screen. You’re telling me this expensive public/private can’t afford better carts? i’m not buying that. Don’t come here.

The whole facility was excellent, from bag drop to last hole. Staff were friendly, and well oiled to get things rolling. Parking is a bit of a problem but being it is a multi course facility and residential area it is quite busy! Tee times were right on the money and a beautiful afternoon, what more can a golfer ask for! Highly recommend you get a tee time here!

Very nice course but no rangers anywhere to be found and pace of play was ridiculous. We had to forfeit 5 holes or our round would have been 6 hours. Will not ever play this course again. A waste of $150.

Played Bear Trap Dunes over the weekend. Beautiful course. Lousy management. Couldn't finish the round because it got too dark. Played 15 holes in 5:15 minutes because of huge backups. Example on hole 10 there were 3 foursomes waiting to tee off. We had to wait on every shot after hole 8. Either they had too many players, were not policing the pace of play or both. Either way it's completely unacceptable. For the amount of money we pay for the course we should be able to play the entire course in a reasonable amount of time. People fly in, rent housing, rent cars and pay to play golf. To have the golf course so poorly managed that you are unable to finish a round and with excruciating slow pace of play is terrible. There are too many other nice places to play on the east coast so do not come here.

Starter was extremely pleasant. Landscapers were super nice. Course was very nice. Do not appreciate being scolded by someone to speed up when we are stuck waiting at every tee box.

Played this past Friday with our group of 8. We had the first two tee times. Everything was great. From the bag drop, pro shop, starters, and the snack shack. Played 27 and it was a great day. Look forward to coming back.

Owner is not maintaining the place. Water pumps aren’t even turned on. The one corner of the coarse stank (either stagnant water or nearby trash can). Each hole is very compact. Not the greatest course, but we had fun regardless. The young man working was friendly. The dinosaur course is much nicer.

Very run down putting surface with a lot of loose bricks and odd pieces that weren’t attended. Gotta be hard to maintain with all the costal traffic. Felt like a tight squeeze. The holes weren’t the best design and felt a bit like cheap gimmicks but the set pieces were great.

While this is downtown Bethany so convenient, it really needs some TLC. The holes aren't marked, bathrooms haven't been cleaned all season, chipped paint and really a lot of rotten wood.

Been here before, so we decided to stop. The owners have not kept up with the place over time. Water attractions were not full and barely operational. The greens were torn and weathered. A piece of broken conduit was on one of the greens. The rest room look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks, and it still cost $56 for four people. I would steer clear of the place!

I’ve played some bad mini golf courses and this is by far the worst. Everything is torn up, broken, loose bricks. You name something that could be wrong with this place and it is. This owner is robbing people of their money. $14 each to play here is a joke.

Absolutely Trash!!! Holes were worn down and greens were uneven and dry. Every hole felt the exact same like I was playing the same hole 18 times. No fun gimmicks, just annoying props that are a pain to get your ball out of. Pirate theming was terrible, you would be better off watching Pirates of the Caribbean. Staff was very friendly. Spending your money here would be a utter waste. Definitely would never recommend ever.

This is the mini golf that Clark Griswold would have stumbled on during one of their family vacations. Flooded holes that you couldn't use, uneven slanted greens that roll your ball to rest against the cement edge. Someone's crazy uncle built this course 40 years ago and it's been falling apart ever since. What a mess ! Sorry I had to give it a single Star, at all. If there was a negative Star, I'd have hit that button. Staff very friendly.

Probably my favorite running spot in the Bethany/Dewey Beach area. The trail surface is a buffet of blacktop, sand, pine chats, and dirt! Seems lightly trafficked. Mostly shaded. Simply beautiful!!

This is a nice little trail just west of Bethany Beach. The trail is very well maintained and flat- so it's a super easy walk. There were 10 of us with a wide range of ages and everyone had a great time. I think it was just over 2 miles in total to do the loop. Nothing to crazy and we had excellent weather. Lots to see- the views of the water were fantastic! We even saw a bald eagle, but I missed the picture chance lol!

Wonderful wide clean paths to walk on, cushioned with pine needles, surrounded by beautiful tall pine trees with water streams, running parallel to the path in areas and views of the fresh pond. I felt as though I was on vacation but This park is just down the road from where I live. Magnificent place to walk. You can walk 3 miles or 6 miles - you choose. Which ever path you take you will feel totally isolated from the busyness of everyday life.

Nice trail. We took our bikes and it was a little slippery with the pine needles all over the path but still went okay. We walked some of it after my husband’s bike broke. It’s not a rocky or paved path. Off road type of path. We enjoyed it as a family.

Beautiful, calming place for a level walk. There were several vistas. The main distinctive I saw was what seemed to be a barn stocked with hay for horses. At the same time, I came across no horse droppings.

Excellent little trail network around Bethany Beach. Trails are well-maintained. Packed earth and pine needles make a comfortable surface to bike on. Mostly shaded and pancake flat.

Nice bike trail. I went here with my girlfriend and her mom. We rode a short trail, maybe two miles. It was a food exercise from all of the food we’ve been eating. We all enjoyed it. Beautiful views and it was a very easy trail.

Beautiful pictures, but they are far overpriced for what they're worth. It doesn't seem like extensive work went into making the pictures to cause them to be so high priced, but, the owners were friendly enough and some of the pictures really were stunning.

Great place just to get lost heather was great and the other young lady were great. The older lady was snooty still the place was fun the people helpful and for a fairly new lodge they did a GREAT job.

What a great photographic art gallery of Delaware's iconic scenes, local artisan's works as well as exceptional, custom photographic portrait creations.

Actually went to "Surfs up" and as always Billy, the owner, made delicious subs and was amazing!
