American Dream is a massive indoor complex located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It offers a wide range of entertainment options including shopping, dining, a theme park, water park and even a ski slope. The development faced some delays in construction but eventually opened its doors to the public. One of its main attractions is Nickelodeon Universe, the largest indoor theme park in North America with 30 rides and attractions for all ages.
Where do I begin? For starters this mall was absolutely way more than I thought it was going to be. There was so much to see and do, and the five hours I was there didn't even seem to scratch the surface. There was an excellent selection of stores from basic to designer and the architecture and design was absolutely stunning. Every area of the mall felt like a different adventure, unfortunately did not have enough time for the theme park, or the water park but that just means I have to go back! I would highly recommend this for any family as there is literally something for everyone here. Whether it's the insane amounts of places to eat with a huge variety, or if you're just walking around, to even shopping. There is something here for everyone! Thank goodness there are directories everywhere because you can easily get lost and lose track of time here. Another cool thing is the parking lot offers accommodations for the stadium right across the way, which has its own bridge that goes to it! I can't wait to go back, five hours was most certainly not enough! I can't wait to see what else goes in there when I finally do get to go back!

American Dream Mall is an unforgettable experience! It’s not just a mall it’s a full entertainment destination. From high end stores to unique attractions like Nickelodeon Universe, DreamWorks Water Park, and indoor skiing at Big SNOW, there’s something for everyone. The layout is spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with endless dining and shopping options. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a fun day out. You can easily spend the entire day here and still want to come back!
Mechy R — Google review
When we heard that this is actually the second largest mall in the country, we wanted to check it out. It really is a very impressive mall. We were particularly impressed by how nice everything was and many of the high end finishes in the mall. There are fountains in many parts of the mall, something you don't see all that often anymore, and some of the fountains even have koi fish in them, which is a very unique touch. There are also statues, unique seating, and creative construction features everywhere you look. There are about 450 stores that really provide a tremendous variety of shops for everyone. We did notice that there are quite a few empty storefronts, many that they were actively working on, so it looks like they'll be adding even more shops. I did notice that there is strangely very few shops in the housewares space, so hopefully they'll be adding some of those. There's even a two story Toys R Us, one of only two currently open across the country, which is very cool. There are also a ton of great dining options throughout the mall that provide a great variety of dining options. Aside from stores and restaurants, there is also a giant ferris wheel with views of the NYC skyline, an ice skating rink, and a skiing mountain... A very cool mall that I definitely recommend checking out!

If you are looking for a place to quickly, run in and purchase something or to spend the entire day, you are at the right place. Regardless, if your niche is luxury, kids' playground or good food, American Dream has it all. The food court and the restaurants have a variety of delicious bites all throughout the mall. Place is clean and airy. It does get very busy from time to time. But the mall is very large enough to fit them all. There's everything from an area to host events and small concerts to escape room, mini golf, water park to say the least about things to do. Many of the high-end fashion to everyday favorite brands are all here too. To finish off the day stop by H Mart for your groceries or grab a quick korean snack in the H Mart food court.
SY Y — Google review
This mall is huge. It was beautiful, decorated for Christmas and another section with a winter wonderland type theme. I didnt plan for this visit but I definitely intend to return as there is so much to see. I want to visit the NJ hall of fame on my next visit. Definitely come prepared to do a lot of walking. So many food options. Would recommend.
Lakeisha T — Google review
Beautiful big mall. Lots of variety of shops high end and lower priced. Has water park, amusement park, ski/ snow board slope all indoors. Mini golf, arcades, restaurants and fast food. Too big to see all in a day
Debbie M — Google review
The big supermarket at American Dream is impressive — you can literally find anything here. Tons of entertainment, great stores, food options for every taste — it’s a place where you can easily spend the whole day and still feel like there’s more to explore. A fun and convenient spot with something for everyone. 🛍️✨
Iryna S — Google review
This place is absolutely insane, coming from Australia. We’ve never said anything like this is the biggest mall we’ve ever seen. We’ve been walking around for ages and we still haven’t seen even a third of it, the food court was really nice down the Korean area and never we’re gonna go and have a bit more of a walk around and have a bit more of a look around but it would be great, especially if you had kids there’s a nickelodeon section which would be really cool. The only downside for me is it’s quite expensive, we were looking at the Ferris wheel but it worked out to about AU$45 each for us for one lap so we decided against that but overall a great day easy to get to from Manhattan. It only took us 15 minutes on the Bus. It was $42. Return for two of us US dollars and we’d highly recommend this as a day outing to New Jersey.

Football Field
MetLife Stadium, formerly known as Giants Stadium, is a renowned football stadium that serves as the home ground for both the New York Giants and the New York Jets. In addition to hosting football games, it also accommodates college basketball events, major concerts, and other headline-grabbing occasions. Notably, it was the venue for Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014, making East Rutherford the smallest city to ever host a Super Bowl.
What a fantastic evening!!! Traffic was typical N.Y.C. traffic on a Friday during rush hour, but hey... I'm going to a Football game at MetLife stadium. Just when I thought that was cool enough, I got even better. Platinum Parking 😉👍 I could hit the stadium 🏟 with a rock I was able to park that close. Upon entry of the stadium 🏟 all the staff that worked there were extremely polite and helpful. On to the seats and was one tunnel over from where we were supposed to be seated. So, back down the stairs and wanted to take a little short cut through what looked to be a restaurant. We opened the door to enter and a woman greeted us right there, noticed we weren't wearing wristbands. So we were unable to enter. This is where our evening took a turn and got even better. She asked us a few questions about our tickets and to our surprise, she advised us that were were entitled to Dine at the Resteraunt. All and anything we wanted to eat and drink... get this... on the house!! 🤯 It did not cost so much as a penny. The food, perfectly cooked rare London Broil sliced to perfection. Chicken grilled, Chicken fried, Pasta, Meatball, Sausage and Peppers 🌶... the list continues. Then deserts 🤯 Specialty Cookies 🍪 😋 Chocolate 🍫 Vanilla 😋 Canolis wrapped in chocolate shells, Many types of Ice Cream.... Good Lord!!! I'm in Heaven 😇 So then, on to our seats 💺 💺 and just when I thought I was in Heaven, I discovered that Heaven has a 2nd floor 🤯 Our seats were on the 50 yard line 15 rows up!! Schwing!!!! The seats were cushioned, the view was phenomenal. The food was fantastic. The whole evening was perfect. I would really enjoy having this experience again and again!!! I can't wait to go there again.

MetLife Stadium is a massive and impressive venue. I went for a Zach Bryan concert, and being on the floor was an amazing experience—you really get to take in just how huge the stadium is when you’re surrounded by it. The way they set up the stadium for the concert was excellent, and the sound system and speakers were very good. There’s plenty to see around the stadium as well, with cool memorabilia and décor throughout. Security is very tight, but it’s well-organized, and there are many helpful employees around the stadium to point you in the right direction. Food and drink options are plentiful, and parking is widely available (we paid $40 to park). Overall, an incredible venue for a concert, game, or event—both the atmosphere and organization make it a top-notch experience.

First NFL game ever. Great atmosphere. Loved the supporters and loved how they kept the crowd entertained. Would highly recommend anyone going to this venue. Security and safety important for all persons attending. Aussie dollar is low so expect to pay around $38aus for basic hotdog and one alcohol can beverage.

I'm a lifelong NY GIANTS fan and my sister and I were in MetLife when Big Blue crushed The Eagles. My sister is a Breast Cancer survivor and I took her to see her very first football game -- it was truly a PLATINUM experience!!! I reserved Platinum Parking and we sat in Sec 135, Row 5 right off the field and my sister was so ecstatic. It was such a blessing to spend quality time with her and also a WONDERFUL PLEASURE to see the birds go down 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kween R — Google review
Parking was paid for prior to the game. Upon arrival the parking staff asked if we had platinum or gold parking. We had gold. They had us go all the way around the stadium to a gravel parking lot across from the mall’s parking garage. The parking lines in the gravel are spray painted. There is no security, lightweight chained link fence, and plastic barriers. We had to cross 3 streets, walk into the mall parking lot, walk across the parking lot into the bridge that brought us to the gates. I noticed plenty of stadium parking so I’m not sure why we were forced into an unsafe parking lot. We got to the stadium with plenty of time before the start of the game. The staff scanned the parking pass and said pull in here. That parking lot should be 10.00 park at your own risk. Then at halftime the stadium ran out of food. No more cheesesteaks, just sausage no peppers or buns, hotdogs with no buns, NY Jets trays handed out at the NY Giants game because they ran out. I’m extremely disappointed and I feel taken advantage of. We paid a lot of money for terrible parking and then to be asked to pay full price on food that was missing its main ingredients. It’s a very greedy thing to do and it’s not right. I would love to hear from the corporation regarding this.

A nice stadium, home of the Giants and the Jets NFL teams. You can see the games very well from anywhere. The concession stands are very well located and there is plenty of them. There is alot of parking and perfect to tailgate. The access was easy and as easy to get out. Very nice experience.
Rui P — Google review
The game was amazing 49ers at Giants and we were so excited. Hubby is a Giants fan and I am a 49ers fan, we also took a friend who is a Giants fan as well. Stadium was amazing the staff we encountered were fantastic. Only downside was the lack of food options, maybe it was just the section we were in im not sure. But there wasn't many choices of food. Other than that the stadium was great!
Crystal B — Google review
It was my first time at MetLife stadium. It’s quite overwhelming, but the staff were all really nice and good about getting you where you needed to go. We were coming from Brooklyn and took NJ transit with the two transfers. It’s nice and convenient how the station is just outside of it and all the staff were great at guiding people back on to the train and home. All in all, a good experience. Even got to eat a pretty decent cheese steak sandwich. I only had to go to the bathroom once and it was AFTER the concert and it wasn’t even a poop. That’s a huge plus! After eating that cheesesteak sandwich. Must’ve been the soothing sounds of Michael Romance.

The Meadowlands Museum, located in a historic stone farmhouse, offers rotating exhibits that showcase the culture and history of the area. Situated in East Rutherford, New Jersey, this non-profit center is dedicated to preserving and celebrating regional history. Visitors can expect informative tours from friendly guides who provide detailed explanations about the exhibits. The museum is recommended for history and art enthusiasts interested in learning about local culture and history.
Excellent museum & kind + patient guides! Different collections in each room in each floor. Great for adults & kids. A number of unique items are on display and the house itself has many connections to local history, so a deep dive visit could take about 2 hours, but if you rushed through the house (which I wouldn't recommend because that would be a shame), you could see all in 30 minutes.

I called to confirm that the museum was open. The recording stated that they were open. Unfortunately after driving there the museum was closed. No one answered the door. It was very disappointing.

Wonderful local history museum. Humble, personable and informative. Tour guide Tom was awesome and came to open for us in under an hour on a day it was closed! We came for the William Carlos Williams exhibit but enjoyed it all. Thanks, Tom!

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center New Jersey is part of the global chain of theme parks dedicated to the iconic LEGO bricks. Located in Rockefeller Center, it offers creative building zones, unique builds for purchase, and miniature LEGO landmarks. Meanwhile, the sprawling LEGOLAND theme park in Goshen, just 60 miles from NYC, features indoor and outdoor attractions suitable for all ages. It includes a LEGO-themed hotel, water park, live entertainment shows, costumed characters, and themed eateries.
Had a great time at LEGOLAND Discovery! For my first time going to a LEGOLAND themed exhibition, I had a great time. You cannot enter unless you have a child with the age of at least 17 years old. I had fun, even though I'm a teenager, it was a dream come true for me. Recommend families with younger kids to come and have a great fun time!
Angel S — Google review
This alone was worth going to. Especially when your children are hyper. Just let them play. There’s a cafe, a ride, other things for extra cost but there being one way in one way out feels relieving because you can watch if your child sneaks out. The gift shop was awesome too. Reasonable pricing.
Lizz M — Google review
Had an awesome time here, such an amazing place for the family. Anthony the master builder really made our visit. He built a train with my son who is TRAIN OBSESSED! They had great building classes with him for their summer of Play and gave out cute pop out pins and stickers. Anthony, their master builder, really made our visit as he got special pieces so my son could design his train. He was there for over 3.5 hours 😂 My 6 year old had a total blast. I enjoyed the 4d theater and the little magical train ride is fun! This is a great spot for kids 10 and under. It may be too junior for older kids unless they want access to pieces for hour. The bday room when it wasn’t occupied was a great shelter for our 6 month old to take a nap ( it’s plenty loud in the center). An amazing LEGO store on the outside. The staff really make this place wonderful, clean, and full of excitement for the kids. Wish we had one in Seattle, we’d go and get a membership. LEGO stuff is the best and my son agrees! Oh yeah and Z blob and Mateo come out was awesome, the kids loved it!
Isaac H — Google review
Good for a group of kids or some solo play for sure. If your kids love legos and building, they’ll never want to leave. The 4d movie was entertaining. Daughter stepped on a broken tiewrap in the soft play tunnel that pierced her pretty good. Outside of that, the workers were friendly and it was a good time. Lots of tires and wheels missing from building kits though. Lots of ramps and race type tracks but not a lot of wheels to build a car when we went.
Thai P — Google review
We celebrated our daughter’s birthday here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The place is beautiful, and the hosts, Jenan and Harlene, were wonderful, so kind, helpful, and great with the kids. They kept everything running smoothly and made the celebration so much fun. Our daughter, her friends, and our family all had an amazing time. Highly recommend this place for birthday parties!
Grey C — Google review
In all honesty I was skeptical at first because I didn’t think adults could have fun too ( especially because I have no kid and was going for my boyfriend’s nephew) but I honestly loved it. I do build Legos sets , I wouldn’t call myself a master but I do enjoy it. Got to see a lot of Lego master pieces and also took a master workshop. Alex taught us how to build a dragon. Overall loved it and can’t wait to go again. If you doubting that you’ll enjoy you won’t go look it the cool pieces they have , I strongly suggest you take the class & if you see Alex say HI, He’s build most of what you see there. Just AMAZING!!!!!

We went with 2 toddlers and had a great time. There’s definitely more to do with older children but ours enjoyed a little train ride, a cinema trip and some Duplo building. We coupled it with a Sealife visit!

Amazing food and great place I got the fettuccine à la Vaca with chicken and the portion size is amazing. I love it and I can see the horses race each other. It’s pretty cool experience.
Lou P — Google review
Horse racing can be a very good time and the Meadowlands race track can provide that! I've been there a handful of times for live racing and in terms of driving there, parking, and entering there has never been congestion. If you do go for one of their event like the hambletonian except some lines and wait. The track itself, seating and the venue is awesome! You can make it a great time for family, friends or kids. Just know that there will be an environment there of habitual betters and people who do off track betting. There is a subculture for that. Also the fan duel bar that is within the track house is not much to rave about. Considering all of this it's Def a place to visit and check off the list.

Cool place to go with friends. Something to do. Some employees are nice and others are just not happy. Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Bathrooms were clean.

We went to go watch UFC on the 2nd floor. Forgot the name of the bar... when ypu go in the main entrance, go up the elevator and past the window seating to the velvet ropes. They got this big blue-lit room with a bunch of huge projected screens. The drinks were $25 each (what do you expect from the Meadowlands?), but we weren't there to get lit. We were there for the UFC. Anyhow, if you have the time and some extra cash, it's a lit different than your average sports bar.
Angry T — Google review
This place has changed so much since the last time I was there as a kid. I can’t remember it completely but I can say it’s so clean. Went there to bet on the derby, you can also do all your sports betting here! Seems all the lighting is led now, super bright. You have views of MetLife Stadium and The American Dream Mall. Food isn’t bad! It’s also an awesome place to watch the sunset!

The new facility is progression of Harness racing Unfortunately old school fans have never acclimated to the new changes. It’s very different. And in discussions amongst patrons there a lot agree I was a regular 2 to 3 times a week player there. Now in a facility that has chased old school fans and players away. In a game where they can’t get young people interested. Its fate is sealed. A shame. I give them an A for effort I get the downsizing aspect of it. But in the end it should have all ended when the State sold out But it’s a dying game

SEA LIFE New Jersey Aquarium is a family-friendly attraction featuring 10 large exhibits with over 1,000 sea creatures, including an ocean tunnel. The aquarium offers NYC-themed exhibits and interactive experiences for kids, such as crawling under and standing inside glass tunnels to observe marine life up close. Located at American Dream, it provides a break from the city's hustle and bustle.
Great value for both Aquarium & Legoland. We were there during the fish feeding and were able to watch almost all of them as they were staggered feeding. The kids loved the touch tank being able to touch the sea anemone, (starfish were busy eating and we asked not to touch them). They also had Halloween decorations inside the tanks that my kids thought were hilarious that the fish got to celebrate. Not the largest aquarium I've been to but they definitely utilize their space to maximize what people can see without hindering the animals comfort or care. In talking with the workers it is evident they enjoy the animals in their care. We were also suprised to find a jungle gym area by the giftshop. An added fun bonus was all the kid sized viewing areas that allowed them to get close to the animals and few them in an engaging manor!! I have already recommended it to a few people as a fun kid friendly activity which can be paired with the plethora of options the rest if the Dream Mall can offer!

Amazing Family Day at Sea Life New Jersey Aquarium! We combined our visit to Sea Life New Jersey Aquarium with Legoland as a package deal, and it was fantastic! The tickets were a steal at $45.99 for both attractions. We opted for the basics, and it was perfect for our family. Upon arrival, we breezed right in with our online tickets. The aquarium is a walk-through experience where you can marvel at the aquatic animals and read fascinating information on the walls. The kids loved taking photos (no flash!) and videos while exploring the tanks. We spent about an hour soaking in the underwater wonders. A word of advice: if you're bringing a big wagon stroller, think twice! It fit, but it was a bit of a hassle since the kids were eager to check everything out. At the end of the tour, we had the option to purchase photos and found a delightful gift shop filled with cool goodies and gadgets for the kids. The staff were friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive, making for a relaxed and enjoyable environment. Overall, Sea Life New Jersey Aquarium offers a wonderful family vibe that's perfect for creating memorable moments. Highly recommend for a fun and educational day out! 🌊🐠
Symone Y — Google review
The aquarium is below the mall and can be accessed from an elevator. Two adult tickets cost about $78. The aquarium is small but they managed to pack a lot into it. There’s a space for you to touch anemones and a tunnel that goes through their largest tank. It’s mostly seeing the same areas but from different points of view. The tanks looked clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend going to check it out. We went on a weekend and it wasn’t overwhelmingly busy. During the week, it seems even quieter. They have a souvenir shop as well but it was a little pricey.
Angela V — Google review
Something about these little cubby hole spaces had my littlest fighting for a spot! This aquarium was a welcomed day out from the routine of home and school for them. It's small enough to not be overwhelming, and yet filled with activities and sea animals that kept their interests piqued - so much so that 1.5hrs flew by and we were none the wiser until hunger hit lol! It was a time well spent and enjoyed by all of us.
Felecia B — Google review
I definitely enjoyed this place with my kids. The staff was super nice. There was a short young lady with short bob like hair and wore glasses that was super fantastic. I forgot to get her name, but she was super kind to my 4 year old talking her ears off. We enjoyed all the animals. The only downfall for me is the price. You are charged way too much for such a short time. I extended the time by taking pictures and letting the kids look, but if not, that would probably be less than 20 minutes walk through. That was the only thing that I felt wasn't worth it. Too much for little time, but it was nice. I'm glad I got the package with the Legoland because that's what made the length of the time feel longer, but if you're just buying the Sealife ticket, you may want to go else where with the money. There are other fun things in the mall. The Sealife was exciting to me, but I went with five kids plus my mom. Half of my party was ready to get out as soon as they walked in, so imagine spending money for someone who doesn't care to be there. Just make sure before going in. I definitely took some super awesome pictures that will be a lasting memory.

Hidden gem inside the American Dream Mall next to Lego Discovery center is this aquarium, it's not a big aquarium compared to the others but enough to entertain your little one, the concept and decorations of this place is inviting, we found so many sea species and colorful fishes, we live the aquarium tunnel and we spend a little bit time there watching big sharks and fishes, they also have small touch the fish area, the neon colors is so nice specially on the dark area, we took so ma y pictures inside as you can see, we enjoyed our time here but only took us couple of hours to see everything. It's clean and well maintained.

Family of 4, 2 adults, 2 toddlers. We decided to go on Thursday 06/12 with pre-bought ticket at 10:30 am. It was early, the parking was empty and we got to the place in matters of minutes. There was absolutely no queue nor wait which was great. It was not busy so we could just explore the place at leisure and took our time. The kids were thrilled and the whole decor was stunning! It felt like being thrown into Finding Nemo’s movie! The tunnels are amazing and great photo opportunities! If prices would be more family-friendly, we might visit more. Total was $134 for the minimum admission.

Went here first because it was closer than any other aquarium from the city-but I honestly expected worse from the outside view. Not as small as I thought but tickets are still a bit pricey-spent $180 for 2 kids and 3 adult tickets. I don’t have lids myself so not sure if thats normal but seemed expensive to me-also touch tank could’ve been a little bigger too

The Meadowlands Sports Complex is a versatile venue that hosts a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, and performances like Disney On Ice. It is home to the New York Giants and Jets stadiums as well as the Trenton Thunder. Visitors have praised the cleanliness and organization of the venue during large-scale events, with efficient security and amenities. While parking was plentiful, traffic on Thanksgiving weekend was noted as an inconvenience. Overall, it's recommended for sports fans and concert-goers alike.
Better experience than the last time I went . I had so much fun with the girlies . It’s more pricey now but it’s not insanely crowded and you can actually enjoy it . We loved the Puerto Rican food spot and ice cream. I ended up getting a cool drawing of my dogs from one of the artists . Enjoyed the circus show and pig show . See ya when you come back state fair .

To say it’s in New Jersey, it’s easy to get to. The stadium offers great viewing from any seat you select. We were at the front of the second tier.

My MAJOR surprise was that parking was not half as bad as i anticipated. Perhaps they learned/streamlined it from the previously held huge shows this year but they did a great job. (Parking lot port-a-potties were disgusting but hey-that's a lot to take on!)

Went for the Metallica kick off to their North American tour (2 day Friday/Sunday). Inside the venue was clean, organized and for the amount of people (89,000 Friday and more on Sunday) I was pleasantly surprised it how well everything flowed. Security was visible, staff ws actively cleaning amenities, lines at concessions were not out of control and handled with fast courtesy. Great arena. Very clean. The only downside was that it was very confusing for parking. When we did find parking it was then easy to find our way around. They had buses drive to and from the parking lots right to the front doors. Free as well. Once all non permit parking lots were full they direct you to the permit parking areas. Which is great because they are closer. So sometimes it's best to wait for a little but before heading in.
Vanessa F — Google review
They shouldn't have opened it for the public. With all the crowds heading to visit the highly anticipated place, they should have opened the food court to accommodate them. Only snack bars, ice cream carts, and drinks. Nickelodeon Universe is so crowded and can't imagine how it will look like in the summer with even more crowds. Rides are very very short and limited. Definitely overpriced. The rink is also so crowded. Smaller than expected. The staff are super friendly and helpful around the place though. I will give it another chance when all the shops are open. But I don't expect much.

This is a rating of the tour that they offer. The tour guides were very knowledgeable of the Meadowlands Sports Complex and facts about both teams. The tour gives great access to areas of the arena that open to the general public. They even allow you to walk around and take pictures on the 50 yard line. The complex is located right off of the highway and you must print your ticket to enter the tour. Make sure your camera is fully charged because there are a lot of photo opportunities.

Visitors praise the high-quality food and excellent service provided by friendly staff members.
Stopped by after reading great reviews and I’m so happy I did! Service was great and this place was busy on a weekday morning and I see why. My party of two was able to be seated immediately. I ordered the French toast and eggs— it was very filling and delicious with my coffee. Would definitely stop by again.

We arrived just in time before closing at 3 PM on a Sunday, and to our delight, they welcomed us in and served us a meal. I ordered a turkey burger, which was simple yet satisfying. My father enjoyed the strawberry and banana pancakes and generously shared one with me. The pancakes and fruit were incredibly fresh! I also tried their freshly squeezed orange juice, which was absolutely delicious. This was my first visit, and I can definitely see myself returning soon!

The kitchen should consider salting their ingredients during cooking. Everything was missing that ZING, and tasted bland. It’s hard to compensate for the missing salt at the end. Tea did not have the water at the proper temperature and it just tasted like it wasn’t heated enough. Service was good. Quite quiet in there. I also like things saucy or just not dry, didn’t deliver with that.

Had a late breakfast , and it was absolutely delicious. The interior design had a unique, nostalgic aesthetic—something that reminded me of a 90s film, which I really appreciated. Our server was incredibly pleasant and took great care of us. The garden omelette was spectacular, and the French toast was a classic American treat. Great parking and a lovely area. Chef’s kiss. Overall, a good experience

Been coming here for years but the quality of food has gone downhill. The Maywood Pancake House is much better. As far as the place itself, it’s nice but very noisy so if you want to be able to hear each other, I dont recommend but that just happens when it’s a busy place. The service sometimes is great, sometimes not so good, waitress doesn’t come to check and see if you need refills on coffee or water. Usually wouldn’t review negatively for that but the past few visits, if you want your food cooked to what’s considered normal, you need to ask for well done. These are the “hash browns” which were like a mashed up baked potato with no seasoning, barely cooked. The toast was just bread barely toasted at all. I did let management know but they didn’t seem to care, neither did the waitress who doesn’t seem to know the first thing about customer service. This is why I’m posting photos and my experience to share with others.

I recently visited Rutherford Pancake House and was really impressed by the number of vegan and vegetarian tofu options on the menu. I ordered the quesadillas and the Vegan Popeye, both of which were delicious after a little extra salt. The flavors really came together once adjusted. The coffee was fresh and tasty, which is always a plus! The restaurant was clean, and our server, Jennifer, took excellent care of us. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great plant-based options!

Ice hockey rink
The Rink at American Dreams is a popular spot for ice skating and hockey enthusiasts. It offers daily ice skating, learn-to-play programs, and the opportunity to host hockey games or leagues. The facility provides padded floors and rental skates, with the option to book online for a discount. Families with young children can make use of assisted ice pushers and seal-shaped plastic figures for added support on the ice.
We had my daughter's birthday party here and it was such a great time. Our party host Miguel was very kind and accommodating. The kids had a great time and the party package came with 5 of the support seals that the kids used for the ice. The party area was set up lovely with the colors we chose and there was even light up letters with my daughters name on the cake table. All the kids had a great time on the ice and they already can't wait to come back.

We had a great experience. We bought tickets online. It was warm inside, not many people, the rink was serviced during the day, so the ice was very smooth. The skates were good too. I recommend it.

Horrible time. Alicia or Alyssa one of the workers was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her excuse for majority of the concerns were "oh that employee was new, she didn't know any better" Very unorganized! It's a shame. They will lose a lot of business on customer service alone. She didn't even know who the supervisor was on duty. Time to retrain staff. The holidays are quickly approaching and they will be busier.

This place is so stupid, there’s only one small entrance to the rinx, every kids have to fight for the riding “seal”, there are maybe 7-8 for the entire rinx, we came here for vacation not knowing that we had to stand at the entrance, fight for 20 mins to grab a “seal” for my two year old to ride on and constantly being told my employee that we need to stay away from the entrance/exit where it is the only place to get a “seal”. Compare to other rinx we have been to, this place is the stupidest rinx without enough amenities for ticket holders. Terrible experience.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. The ice skating rink at American Dream Mall is one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. The staff were unbelievably rude and unprofessional. My daughter is only 10 years old and was skating with a support aid to help her balance. One of the staff members came from behind and pulled it away from her without any warning. She could have easily fallen and gotten hurt. There was no apology, no explanation — just a cold and disrespectful attitude. It’s absolutely unacceptable for a family-oriented place to treat children this way. The staff clearly need serious training and supervision. Unsafe, unpleasant, and completely disappointing. Avoid this place at all costs.

Intresting trip to the Rink at American Dreams. Very important to know to utilize parking lot B ground level when going to this rink. Once you park you can go in the rink two different ways. Through the ground floor there is a small corridor that leads to the double door which is the locker room level. If you park on level one of lot B you will need to utilizethe step to the locker rooms. Parking was validated as they have a scanner on the table prior to leaving. The white board has the locker room assignments. They have several locker rooms all of different sizes. Clean and full shower bathroom. Player benchs are a good size. The penalty box's and score table are on the same side. Ice surface was pretty good. Zamboni was parked right next to the rink. Remember this rink is in a mall. 3 levels to view from. Seating on the ends. Great score board with team names, shots and scores. Depending on the time of day, the glass roof gives plenty of sunlight. They have led lights for night time placing. Great place to play a game and shop. If your looking for other thing to do they also have snow tubing, skiing, or snowboard. Hotels close by as well.

I bought my niece and her boyfriend to the rink and it was a great experience. They had never been ice skating before and they got the hand of it quickly. They had padded floors and we rented ice skates. It you book it online it’s $5 cheaper. The staff was friendly. They had these assisted ice pusher things for you kids. I saw many parents with there kids using it. There was also a lot of staff on and off the ice. I would say this was a well oiled machine. I went on a very busy Saturday and I felt they were well organized. I highly recommend going here.

The attentive staff ensures a delightful and relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for those who appreciate high-quality Italian-inspired cuisine.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fiorentini in Rutherford, NJ, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. Our waiter, Eris, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food? Delicious across the board. We started with the bruschetta, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For the main course, we had the fish, and it was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. Fiorentini is a gem in Rutherford, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience.

Wow we had a spectacular experience! I’ll try to be concise: food is incredible - intentional, thoughtfully crafted and carefully & beautifully plated. We got to try the new fall menu that just dropped 3 days before, the standout was the honey nut cappelletti - pasta was so delicate and soft, all of the flavors were balanced and unique. Crab cake was very good, the poached pear salad was amazing, so balanced and every ingredient shone. We got the pheasant to try something different, so glad we did - again every part of it was balanced and intentional. Dessert!! Rosemary panna cotta was unreal, not too sweet, perfect texture, loved the rosemary and peach chutney on the side. Even my husband who doesn’t like sweets really enjoyed this. Service was also incredible, Eris was so helpful, never rushed us, and helped us decide on each course and dishes to complement each other. Portion sizes perfect to share multiple dishes, music was fun and upbeat, decor and restaurant is beautiful. Byob. Truly special, a perfect date night spot, I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu :)

Everything tasted so fresh, from start to finish. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the warm, authentic atmosphere makes it feel truly special. A huge thank you to Eris, our amazing server—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves real Italian food and great service!

Tremendous dinner and service I normally come on Sunday for brunch but decided to try dinner and it did not disappoint. My guest and I were extremely happy with our meals and the price for dinner desserts and drinks (coffee and tea) it’s byob, was very reasonable. I would highly recommend friends to go here and I would definitely recommend the dessert I had the Rosemary Panna Cotta and cappuccino. Fiorentini is definitely a great place to go on a summer night the food and service were very good.

Have heard so many good things about this place and it surely did not disappoint! The ragu was a bit underwhelming but nothing short of delicious. The crab ravioli had so much flavor and lumps of crab meat layered on top, they definitely weren’t shy about it! The steak tartare was the best I ever had, & the zucchini veloute under the buffalo mozzarella dop was my absolute favorite thing. My food was room temperature but we did ask the waiter to hold off for a moment. The service was outstanding, they constantly checked in on us and always refilled our water without asking. This is a MUST try restaurant while in Rutherford.

Visitors rave about the futuristic design and the immersive experience that makes them feel like they're on another planet.
Fun mini golf experience! The course was whimsical and neat. Overall, not too difficult, but still a good experience. It's a little small and can get a little crowded, but the lines went quickly because the holes aren't too difficult. Great place overall and definitely recommend checking it out!
David N — Google review
It is a fun place with the family. The decor and lighting make it different from other mini golf places. It is is long enough to keep kids engage but also has some challenging holes so even adults will enjoy.
Mohsin S — Google review
The golf course delivers on what is advertised as far as 18 holes of mini golf with uv neon glow and thematic carpentry. I was disappointed by other factors, such as the extra steps to check out online, asking questions and being told one thing, then to have the opposite said after a purchase is made. We had a 5th player willing to watch since they have signs posted saying a max of 4. We asked about this and heard that would be fine, after buying four tickets online, then we are asked to scan our codes and there is this expectation for a fifth code. So now it seems like one of our party needs to go away and sit in a corner while we play. As they walk away dejected. We clarify about the five-person limit, and they say oh well. That's just a suggestion even though once again there is a posted sign. So our party member comes back. Even disregarding all this, the amount of fun for the price was even keel and not spectacular. We also waited for 15ish minutes after we paid for new balls to be returned so we could begin playing. Generally, I wish the staff at the front desk had been more helpful and concerned about our experience.
Mark J — Google review
Probably one of the funnest and best value for your money at the mall. Make sure you buy online and not at counter. Also make sure you get the bundle with the Mirror Maze next door. They are both worth it as a package. Mini-golf has 18 holes. You use your QR Code to open a place to track your golf scores. The mirror maze is definitely fun too.
Amir M — Google review
We had such a fun time here. The only thing I would change is that on some of the courses the transition to go to the other course is in direct line of the hole and a ball will roll off.(I was playing with kids) haha but otherwise its a space theme and so fun! Also its cheaper if you purchase tickets online.
PCS G — Google review
It’s fun to spend time here, but I really don’t understand the need to wait. Every time you enter, there are like three groups behind you and two in front of you, which just doesn’t make sense. I thought the wait would be for better control of the crowd in such a small space. The last time I was there, I was honestly traumatized (drama queen moment) and couldn’t finish the experience, so we left. The reason? There was a large family with kids around 3 or 4 years old running around, taking everyone else’s balls, and the parents did absolutely nothing about it—neither did the staff. I get that it’s a family-friendly place, but there should be more moderation. Parents should be more attentive, and the place could use better organization.
Melissa C — Google review
Had a very bad experience. Went in with the hope that it was the same experience as a year ago, but it was very crowded. You guys should restrict the amount of people that can go in because it is ridiculous that you have to just stand there for 30 minutes waiting for people to finish playing. You guys didn’t have the little scorecard either which was so disappointing. This was honestly such a waste of money, and you’re better of going somewhere else:( The worker was nice though, which is such a bummer😔

Experience the iconic battle between birds and pigs in a whole new way at Angry Birds Mini Golf. This indoor 18-hole miniature golf course offers inventive challenges, cute photo opportunities, and tons of fun for all ages. While it can be challenging for little kids, the whimsical setting and decorative figures make it feel like a playground. Located at the American Dream mall, this mini golf course is a must-visit destination with friendly staff and clean facilities.
One of the fun activities offered by American Dream mall, this mini golf course is filled with colorful, fun, and goofy angry birds. The course itself has some tricky holes with a very high standard for scoring. The ticket cost $20+tax per adult. It’s better to buy tickets online, as they are limiting capacity due to the pandemic. Each time slot (15 mins apart starting from 11am) has certain number of tickets. It takes about 45 minutes for 2 adults to play through the whole course, while taking videos/pictures and having some fun with the angry birds. At the end the course, the exit leads to a Angry Bird merchandise store. Overall a fun, distressing activity for me, for relatively low expense

One thing to keep in mind is to plan your visit wisely to make the most of your experience. Arriving at a good time ensures you won't be stuck waiting too long for the group ahead of you or feeling rushed by those behind you. This way, you can take your time to enjoy every hole and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the mall. With its fun and simple layout, coupled with the lively decor, Angry Birds Miniature Golf provides a memorable outing for everyone. Jovanny G — Google review
Our experience at Angry Birds Mini Golf was extremely disappointing. My family and I came excited to play, but instead left frustrated and upset. From the start, we were treated poorly by a staff member named Susan, who acted rudely and made discriminatory remarks that were completely uncalled for. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with a manager, Sandra rolled over on her scooter, told us a generic “policy,” asked for my name, and then just drove off without offering any actual resolution or care for our situation. The worst part was that they insisted on charging my disabled wife for a full-priced ticket, even though she clearly could not participate and only wanted to watch our two kids play. To make matters worse, a family of 3 came after us, and the wife was appalled because they had just paid for her husband and their 5 year old son. For a family-oriented attraction, this level of insensitivity and lack of accommodation is unacceptable. American Dream is supposed to be a place for fun and memories, but instead we were left feeling discriminated against and dismissed. Until they address their staff training, customer service, and accessibility policies, I cannot recommend Angry Birds Mini Golf to anyone—especially families with loved ones who have disabilities. *I have pictures and videos to prove all of this, including pictures of your attendant reading a book, (attached) not caring who walked past her, the family that came after us, and our original interaction with Susan.

Nice 18hole mini golf. Friendly staff and clean. Buying tickets online would save you $3 per person on admission compared to buying at the gate. Lots of fun to kill time. Online score card is a bonus.
Jose E — Google review
They must cap the number of players immediately. I don’t care if it’s limited tickets or timed entry, but we were standing in an 4-5 minute line for EVERY hole. We ended up just skipping one portion to get ahead of one chunk of the crowd. The golfing layout also wasn’t anything of note. Maybe I would have stopped and taken some fun pictures with the characters, if not for the fact that hordes of people were watching me and waiting for their turn. Overall, it could have been a fine (yet expensive) experience, if not for the crowds. Also note it was quite warm - too many people for the space. I think they were over capacity- the sign said something like 148. It seemed to be easily hitting or exceeding that limit to me.
Anaïs M — Google review
Definitely an instagramable mini golf place. The course was nice. Very decorative so it’s really designed well. It’s a bit pricey at $20 for adults. The course is clean. The staff was friendly. The store afterwards was cute especially the Angry Bird theme food! Definitely worth checking out!
Marion N — Google review
The price is a bit ridiculous. Even if you don't play you have to pay, we didn't all want to play but I do understand how would you know we aren't lying. The place is absolutely packed. The line to just get tickets was wrapped around the building and then on top of it the line just to get into hole one was even worse. The statues are about the best part. Definitely a photo opportunity.

What a fun experience. I took my 4-year-old here for something quick and fun to pass the time, and she had an absolute blast. They require you to wear gloves, which at first I thought was just for germs, but it actually makes perfect sense. If there were fingerprints all over the mirrors, it would make the maze too easy to figure out. I definitely felt a little anxious at one point, but I kept my cool because my daughter was having so much fun. We ended up going through the maze three times in a row. Such a great little outing, and we’ll definitely be back.

It is what you would expect, a maze of mirrors. We made it through in 5 mins. The group ahead of us was cracking up. Their laughs brought me joy but I held us back so we would be able to figure out the way without following strangers my kid had fun. They give you disposable clear gloves so your hands don't smudge the mirrors. It was included in a package with nickelodeon theme park, Legends of a Hidden Temple ropes course, black light mini golf, and GI Joe laser tag. The black light mini golf is at the same check in. We kept needing to find a space between holes to wait as the course doesn't allow for pile ups, but it was fun. There is a link to record scores electronically. I believe tickets are cheaper online but you can purchase them online once you are there.

Lots of fun for the kids to map their way through a mirror maze, just make sure you keep your hands in front of you so you don't slap your face with the mirror wall. Tickets are cheaper in advance.
Hank C — Google review
This was a hit or miss for some, I thought it is not bad or good so a solid 3 stars. It is as you would've expect it to be a maze filled with mirror. It is okay since the price of it is only $8 per person so it is worth the 5 minutes. It took us 5 minutes to go through the maze, but it was something new. it is worth a try for those who enjoy maze.

One of the more affordable activities in the American dream. It seems small when you begin but you can get lost fairly quickly and there is no time limit (from what I can tell) that you are allowed to spend inside so there's no reason why you can't turn around at the end go back to the front and do it all over again, just don't exit when you get to the end. Important that people use the gloves to not leave fingerprints on the mirrors. As I contemplate the work involved cleaning the mirrors day after day, it's worth the price of entry.
Eric S — Google review
Not worth it. I brought a family for $10 for 9 people=$100 with tax. Took us all 5 minutes to get through. Could have seen a movie with snacks and all for that price. We tried going through the loop again but once you exit you can't repeat. Total waste....don't do it. I promise you will feel like you were robbed.

Front desk was very rude. We came earlier and were told I can accompany my son with 1 ticket. Then after when I wanted to accompany my daughter, they said I have to buy a separate ticket for my daughter and me.

It was ok. I think it will be fun for the little ones. We had 12 abd 14 yo and they went through it in like I want to say less than 10 min. It was fun but it was small.

Williams Center is a charming vintage theater that dates back to the 1920s. Originally built as a Vaudeville theater, it now screens blockbuster movies, offering visitors a unique and nostalgic cinematic experience. With its rich history and classic ambiance, Williams Center provides a delightful setting for enjoying the latest films.
The record store is amazing. A place where you can get great finds! The theatre area looks amazing and intact despite of the place caught into fire decades ago. I would have to go back and experience how the sound system goes once there will be a show or concert. The coffee shop is decent, Jackelyn, the barista was really friendly and nice. Thanks to Steven for showing me around the center and for a welcoming vibe! ✨

Came here recently for the first time to see a concert. Really cool little venue. It is old and falling apart in some areas, but the space is unique, the prices are fair, and the sound quality is good. Love the record/book store upstairs! All of the staff we encountered--security, ticket entry, bartenders, etc.--were all very friendly. Would come back again!

Checked out Williams Center to see Judge, Earth Crisis and Integrity on Friday, 10/03. My brother couldn't make and since it was an all ages show I brought my daughter. Security out front and inside were professional and considerate. The venue is spacious, the stage has a nice set up and the bands sounded topnotch. Bathrooms were clean and I really appreciate the affordable water bottle vending machine and functional water fountain. The venue had several stratigicallyset up bars to purchase other drinks from. I did have to drive around a bit for street parking, but found a good spot. Apparently, street parking is limited to three hours and there is also permit parking to account for. Overall, glad there's another NJ venue hosting hardcore shows. Will definitely return and keep tabs on other events that are hosted here.

I absolutely love Williams Center! They play so many great movies I wouldn't have otherwise heard of, and they host some really fun events (concerts, emo nights, comedy shows, etc). In addition to being a movie theater/event center, they also have a book/record store on the second floor. Very happy I found out about Williams Center because places like this are so hard to come by these days. Definitely check this place out!

Step back in time and immerse yourself in the thrilling experience of Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Located in a castle-like space, this attraction offers an unforgettable evening of jousting, horsemanship, falconry, and a four-course utensil-free meal. Watch as top knights engage in an epic battle while you indulge in delicious food and non-alcoholic beverages. The specially-trained performers will have you cheering for your favorite knight as they joust in a sand-filled arena.
We gifted my dad tickets to Medieval Times and our family had such a fun time! We really weren’t sure what to expect coming in, but were pleasantly surprised how great the experience was for all ages. We happened to be the first ones in line , which was great because the seats are first come, first serve on group sizes, so we had the best seats in the house. While the food wasn’t necessarily gourmet, it was better than most amusement park food, so we couldn’t complain. Our wench, Denise, was great and happy to accommodate us with utensils when we asked. We had fun cheering for the green knight, and came home with a souvenir stein and cute family picture. A great experience all around!

I visited the Medieval Times in Lyndhurst and had such a blast!! I even received a flower from our knight 🥰 I loved the four-course dinner and loved cheering on for our team with the Yellow Knight! 🛎️ Service: Kevin was our host for the evening and he was excellent and attended to everyone’s orders very well. He hustled and helped out everyone in our area so I give him credit for all the work he did tonight! The staff was kind enough to direct me to the bathroom as the building was fairly big so I got lost a few times 😓 My bf and I shared the vegetarian and the chicken meal which as a couple who rarely eats meat, it was meaty and tasteful. We shared the potatoes which were both served with the chicken AND vegetarian dish, beans and rice, corn on a cob which was very buttery and flavorful. I had a serving of the coffee which I always like coffee anyways. I was impartial over the eclair, tomatoes soup and garlic bread as they just tasted like a normal grocery store recipe. It still tasted delicious as I love a good garlic bread and tomato soup 🥫 💰 Price: The price was alright considering there was food and show. The drinks, as well as the picture when you enter the building were expensive. However, considering you get to keep your glass as a souvenir and just pay for refills, the pricing made sense. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I’m really looking forward to coming back! Cheers! 🍻 Love, Nadine 🥰🌸

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Every few years we go for my birthday and have a blast. The dining and concessions staff is friendly and make every effort to get you hyped up for the action. The performers are great at what they do and make their combat look as realistic as they can. Where it falls apart for me is the food. But not in the fact that it's bad. Is that the portions are progressively getting smaller. In years past, the soup would fill the entire bowl. The chicken was a whole Cornish hen back in the day, then a half a chicken, and now you're getting a breast and a leg. And dessert has been pared down from a sizeable apple turnover to a one-bite eclair that was still frozen when our section was served. Don't get me wrong, most of the food is delicious for what you pay, but it's just incredibly disappointing to see that it's fallen off so hard. Most likely due to economic factors. One additional note about alcohol purchases. There is NO option to get your drink in a normal glass. You are REQUIRED to get your alcoholic beverages in a souvenir glass/mug. The glass in my photo with a Sam Adams Oktoberfest cost a startling 26 dollars.
Michael S — Google review
I loved the ambience, the tournament, and the food was surprisingly good. You get a half rotisserie chicken, half of a seasoned baked potatoe, seasoned corn on the cob, and for dessert you get an eclaire..which I didnt care for. Let me note that the service was also A1. What I didnt like was the drinks sold at the bar... I had a Pina Colada, but all it is, is food coloring, water and sugar. You dont taste any liquor, pineapple or coconut in this drink, and I'm sure every other "flavor" is like that, but they're are trying to sell the glasses and thats how they get you. You're better off passing on the bar..unless you just get a Beer. The lemonade that comes with your meal is pretty good, so save your money and skip the bar. This place is good for family fun, or a fun date night.
T R — Google review
Such an unusual experience — especially for families! If your kids love horses, this is double the fun — our girls absolutely loved the horses, and the boys were thrilled by the knights and battles. For adults, it’s nice that you can order alcoholic drinks (though they took forever to arrive — we almost watched the whole tournament before the drinks came! 😅). As for the food: they serve chicken and a tomato “soup,” which honestly tastes more like warmed tomato juice than an actual soup. The chicken was tender and juicy, but the potatoes weren’t great, and the corn was a bit tough. The dessert — éclairs — were disappointing, not worth trying. Still, as an overall experience, it was really interesting and unique. It can get very loud, but the atmosphere is fun and full of energy. The horses look healthy, and it’s obvious the battles are staged, so no worries if someone is sensitive about that. There are also plenty of souvenirs to take home. Definitely worth visiting once for the experience! 🐴⚔️

I love the experience. However I don't like the fact that you pay your adult prices for children between the ages 11 and 15... A lot of children still behave like children... I also don't like the fact that you cannot use coupon codes some people are struggling to take their kids to somewhere nice.... And I also don't like after you pay $441 for one adult and three children they still have the audacity to tax an extra $30... Now this price does include about $50 worth of souvenirs but the total was $470... So it was fun however is not an experience I would try often

DreamWorks Water Park is an expansive indoor park featuring a wave pool, lazy river, waterslides, and movie-themed rides catering to younger kids. The park also includes Nickelodeon Universe with attractions based on popular characters like Avatar: The Last Airbender, PAW Patrol, Rugrats, and SpongeBob SquarePants. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the opening of DreamWorks Water Park was delayed but eventually reopened with restrictions in place.
This was our first visit to the American dream. We bought the tickets online and for the parking as well. Unfortunately none of the tickets were transferred to my phone. Service goes through a link website that was having issues. Had to check with the front office and they cleared us to go in. We still could not get the parking pass and the girl in the front office said she would send in over to my email again. But it never was received. Before we left the park the office gave us a QR code receipt. They did not explain that you had to use it when you actually exit the parking lot. We were trying to use it at the machines you run your ticket through to pay inside the mall. Confusing if you have never been in this the mall here before. So we ended up paying for parking twice. Make sure you do not park in lot D. A would be the preferred lot. Kinda a long walk for my mom In her 70's. My kids had fun on The wave pool and on the penguin slides. It was a really hot day when we went 95 so it was pretty brutal inside. Stuffy and very humid and hot. Definitely not for the older generation. Super heavy chlorine in the water, my eyes were burning most of the day. Still burning as I am writing this review. My son also was crying and Complaining his eyes hurt. Make sure if you have goggles they need to be on the whole time in the water. But my mom did not go in the water and her eyes hurt just from walking around the park We also ate at the burger shack which was pretty good. We had nachos, chicken nuggets, a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. We all liked our food and would eat their next visit if we needed to. We spent about 6 hours here and the kids did not want to leave. I said ok kids let's get ice cream at the troll's spot! Both of my kids had the churros and sponge bob ice cream bars and they thought it was Pretty good.

DreamWorks Water Park at American Dream is a great spot for a family day! The park is big enough with plenty of slides and attractions that kept both the kids and adults entertained. We had a blast! I definitely recommend renting a loft or cabana—especially if you have a baby or you're coming with another family. It gives you a nice space to relax and take breaks. One tip: wear water shoes! The floor can get really slippery, though they’ve added anti-slip pads in some areas to help. Also, even though the website says no outside food or drinks, we noticed no one was checking or enforcing it. I’m giving it 4 stars because the baby changing station is poorly placed. It’s right in the hallway near the lockers, where people constantly pass by or even use it as a table. I had to wait for others to move just to change my baby, and honestly, babies deserve more privacy for diaper changes. Overall, still a fun water park and worth visiting!

SPLASH-TASTIC REVIEW: DREAMWORKS WATER PARK AT AMERICAN DREAM MALL The Grown-Up Take: Hold onto your swim caps, folks, because DreamWorks Water Park is a tidal wave of fun! We made the pilgrimage to the New Jersey American Dream Mall just for this aquatic wonderland, and let me tell you—it was shore worth it. Parking? A breezy $5 (practically a drop in the bucket). The mall itself is massive, but after a quick consult with a map (and maybe a minor detour or two), we found our watery paradise. Walking in was like stepping into Shrek’s swamp—if Shrek traded mud for a monsoon of slides, waves, and adrenaline. The wave pool? Unreal. The lazy river? Anything but lazy—more like a "splashy scenic cruise" with waterfalls, bridges, and enough spray zones to keep you cool. Lifeguards were on point (shoutout to the vigilant crew keeping us all safe while we acted like kids). Pro tip: Get there early to claim your throne (or at least a lounge chair). Food? Classic theme park fare—cheeseburgers, onion rings, even empanadas (because why not?). The Prince and Queen hit the slides hard and declared them "amazing," which, coming from royalty, is high praise. The Prince’s 12-Year-Old Verdict (Unfiltered & Full of Energy): OKAY, SO. The How to Train Your Dragon rollercoaster waterslide was INSANE. At first, I was like, "Eh, this might be kinda slow," but then—BAM!—the first drop hit, and a booster track YEETED us forward like Toothless on a sugar rush. The third drop? A 20-foot drop before another launch. I actually screamed (but in a cool way, obviously). The rafts fit four people and were crazy durable—like, Viking-level sturdy. The line took a while, but trust me, SO WORTH IT. Final Splash-Down: This place is a 10/10, no question. We’re already planning our next trip because once is never enough when you’re living the splash life. If you’re debating whether to go, just dive in—you won’t regret it! Rating: 🌊💦🚀 (Translation: "Soaking Awesome") See you in the wave pool!

What an amazing experience! This water park had something for everyone tons of fun rides for all ages and an impressively large wave pool that kept us all entertained for hours. We rented a cubed room ( blue suite) for 10 people, and it was perfect private and comfortable, with a fridge, snacks, and even two complimentary kids' towels. It also included room service, which was a great bonus! The food and drinks were a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, it was worth it for the convenience and quality. My favorite spot? The relaxing hot tub area pure bliss! I would absolutely recommend this place to families or groups looking for a full day of water fun.

Being there was the best fun we have had in a long time. That indoor Waterpark was so huge so many rides. The music was awesome all day. The food was good. By the time we left we were absolutely exhausted. The changing room and bathrooms were very clean and tidy. For anyone that would like to know the lockers are $20 to lock your belongings. We had a cabana and looking down on to the pool is simply beautiful. I will say it does get hot in there but all in all the experience was 10/10 I will definitely go back again. Oh yes the stairs to get to the water slides is a bit crazy tons of steps so you will have to pace yourself.
Lyrical D — Google review
Dreamworks Water Park is absolutely amazing. It was my first time going to this water park. I really had a lot of fun. Changing rooms are clean, and they have lockers. My only complaints are that they need more tubes and have more character appearance times. I went during the sunset session, which is the last three hours of operating hours, and I didn't get to meet the characters.
Mike C — Google review
Today was my first experience at the water park with my family. I must say, for the price they charge towels are not included(bring your own), have to pay for parking(even to shop within the mall), the bathroom closest to the water area was filthy, pizza boxes thrown wherever with pizza on the floor(getting soaked by the water), bandaids and garbage floating in the wave pool, we decided to rent a daybed because online it stated “private lounging experience” which was not even close to being private(false advertisement) as anyone could walk in the area to oversee the pool. The daybed itself and table/chairs were dirty. Keep in mind, we arrived one hour within opening. Even the access point to the wave pool was unlocked and opened, luckily I watched my toddler carefully. Very disappointed. Maintenance would rather speak amongst themselves, talk on their phones and smoke their vapes. If this establishment wants to remain open they should reconsider their staff and increase pay. I do have many ideas to contribute to this establishments success if you’d like to contact me to discuss further!

It was such a blast! I didn’t expect the water park to be this huge it looked even more amazing in person than it did online. I was so happy and having so much fun that I completely lost track of time and even forgot about breakfast! The place is very clean and well maintained, and the water filter system keeps everything crystal clear. The atmosphere is full of energy and joy it really made me forget all my stress and hard times. Even though I went alone, I ended up chatting and laughing with other visitors while enjoying the rides. I highly recommend visiting this place with family, friends, or loved ones it’s the perfect spot to unwind, have fun, and create great memories together!

New Meadowlands Flea Market Review — 4/5 Stars The New Meadowlands Flea Market is a great destination for anyone who loves the thrill of bargain hunting and outdoor shopping. It has a wide variety of vendors offering everything from clothes and collectibles to larger items like cars and kayaks, so there’s always something unique to discover. One of the market’s best features is the diversity of both the products and the people. It’s refreshing to see such a mix of nationalities in both vendors and shoppers, creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. For me, visiting this market brings a wave of nostalgia, as it’s one of the few places left that reminds me of the old US 1 Flea Market in New Brunswick. That same sense of discovery and variety that made US 1 such a memorable spot can be found here, making it a comforting, familiar experience. Deals are plentiful, and you can always find something that catches your eye, whether it’s vintage items, electronics, or just an unexpected gem. The food options also add to the appeal, with plenty of tasty meals to enjoy while you shop. Overall, the New Meadowlands Flea Market is well worth a visit. Whether you’re here for the bargains or the atmosphere, it’s a great way to spend a day. For those of us who remember the US 1 Flea Market, it’s a great modern substitute.

Big SNOW American Dream is an indoor ski and snowboarding park that offers year-round powder, lessons, and bunny slopes. It is part of the larger American Dream complex which also includes Nickelodeon Universe theme park and DreamWorks Water Park. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were temporary closures but it has since reopened with restrictions. The indoor slope provides perfect conditions for skiing and snowboarding.
I purchase one of their six ride passes every year. It’s a great place for learning or warm up runs. Today I brought my skis and snowboard and had no idea the lockers aren’t big enough to accommodate actual skis and boards. The manager Emmanuel had amazing customer service and manager skills especially for someone his age. He was kind enough to accommodate me by letting me leave my skis behind the rental area while I’m snowboarding and vice versatility while I’m skiing. I’ll continue to use this place during the off season and try to bring another friend or two and spread the word to other east coast riders / skiers.

On August 22, at 4 p.m., I came with my family (me, my husband and 2 children aged 10 and 17) to go skiing at Big Snow American Dream. It was not our first time and we were in anticipation of a good pastime. A group of teenagers occupied one of the slopes, most of them did not use the lift, they used a couple of jumps and a rail and walked back straight up the slope, preventing everyone else from going down. It was out of the rules and very unsafe. I told the staff about this, zero reaction, twice asked these guys not to walk on the slope and not to stand on it. My husband also addressed the staff, Ahmed just said: have a good day, and with his right hand and silently said: shut up. It was very rude. Allen was more polite, but to any question he simply repeated: they are the same customers and can do whatever they want. Maybe they knew each other, I don't know. Teenagers, feeling impunity, started bullying me and my children, they repeatedly shouted F words, shouted from the lift, spat and threw some papers at us (I don't have a video, but you can check the video from your cameras, I saw they are there). When I tried to do the same trick as they trained, they started filming me and insulting me, two of them deliberately drove past me in a millimeter at full speed to scare and get me out of the way. The second slope was untidy and very plump, it was difficult to come down from it, because we also trained and trained our children I ask you to react on this situation and work with your staff, ask to punish the teenagers who spat from the lift, to refund me the cost of the tickets. It was a very unsafe experience, I do not advise anyone to use this slopes at American dream, the staff just behaved very strangely, favoritism as it is Maybe we would also be regular customers if it was safe

Very nice indoor skiing facility. Got the Groupon so the total was $73, and was easily able to make a reservation on the official site after. Went at 1p on a Friday, got on the slope at 1:30 and was able to have 2 full hours of runs until 3:30. I filmed every run, so I was able to get down the slope 12 times, with the rest of the time either waiting in line or going up. Took me a min to get down the slope each time. Staff was friendly and professional. Lines got longer as time went on. I would go again, but keep it to weekdays, just not on a busy weekend.

Traveled from Mississippi to visit my home and bought my family. Decided to ski ⛷️ for the first time, since there would be training. But, There was no one per your employee to provide first timers training per your advertisement for the rental package. We had to ask other non employees for help or figure it out ourselves. Overall we had a great time and when back in NY will do it again.

This is a review specific to experienced rides and snowboarding. Firstly, I went on a weekday which was not very crowded, which was great. I was also able to get through check-in very quickly and onto the slopes immediately as I had my own gear. The first few runs were pretty fun getting back into the binders again. However, the experience started to go downhill (no pun intended) the longer I stayed on the slopes. The surface is pretty slushy so definitely do not wax your board, just brush it. I had only used my board once last year and waxed it before hand, and I think lot of the slowness that I experienced towards the end of my run was due to the wax collecting dirt. The spacing of the jumps in the park wasn’t spread enough to get a good series of combos in because you don’t have enough speed. I only got air on the main jump once because I did not go on any other features just avoided them to build speed.

It was our first time visiting Big Snow to go snow tubing, and we had a great experience from start to finish! Our 3-year-old child was very hesitant once we got inside and was close to having a meltdown. That’s when one of the employees, Miguel (I believe from the medic team, since he had a white cross on his uniform), came over to check on us. He immediately started talking to our daughter in such a kind and patient way, showing her all the fun things around—the skiers, snowboarders, tubing area, and even the snow playground with slides. He also gave us a quick guide and pointers on how to get around. We were so grateful for how he helped calm her down and made her feel comfortable. She’s usually pretty shy with strangers, but he really made a difference change her demeanor. After that, we all had an amazing time! Miguel checked in with us a few times throughout our visit. All the other staff were also super friendly and helpful from when we were changing to when we left. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Big Snow for families with little children!

Star Review: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Big Snow Tubing Our visit to Big Snow Tubing was incredibly frustrating and absolutely not family-friendly. There is no separate line for kids to go up the slope, which makes the entire experience chaotic and unsafe. After sliding down, a five-year-old cannot possibly carry a heavy tube all the way back up the incline, and the only option is to use the magic carpet. But even that is a problem—because there’s no dedicated kid line, children are forced to wait 25 minutes or more just to get back up. Completely unacceptable for a place that markets itself as kid-friendly. On top of that, the slope attendant was extremely unpleasant, unprofessional, and seemed completely unsure of what he was talking about. Instead of helping or giving clear instructions, he made the experience even more stressful. Overall, Big Snow Tubing needs major improvements in organization, staff training, and basic safety considerations for children. I would not recommend this to families until they fix these issues.

TiLT Museum is an exceptional interactive art gallery where one can have a delightful time and capture numerous impressive 3D photographs. It is advisable to visit with friends rather than alone in order to obtain the most remarkable pictures. Upon entering, there may be initial confusion as the expectations might differ from what is actually encountered, possibly desiring a more virtual reality-like experience. However, assistance can be sought from fellow visitors within the museum to understand its workings.
Super fun photo ops... we enjoyed walking through and trying to be creative in the shots we took. We purchased tickets as something to do after Nickelodeon Universe and so happy we chose this! Fun memories made!!

This place was so cool I can't even express enough how much you should go there and take some awesome pictures it was set up perfectly they tell you where to stand to take the pictures there was literally nobody in there when we went which was great we went late at night and it was so much fun to just take as many pictures as we wanted and enjoy our time
Christina D — Google review
A cute little museum that will take you anywhere from 45 mins or more depending on how many pictures and videos you wish to capture. There sure are quite a few art pieces they are able squeeze into a fairly small footprint of a ‘store.’ There is a little Tilt gift shop at the entrance and a party/function corner in the back. Overall the TiLT illusions are great! 👍

Fun, unique museum. My friends and boyfriend had a fun time! It takes about 30-60 minutes depending on how many pics you want to take. For the price point, what do you have to lose?

This is worth the visit if you haven't been. The 3D is something new for us so it has exceeded our expectation. It depict the point of perspective really well. it might be short for some, but you will enjoy the time there and take many photo of the art from the intent of the artist. It is a very unique and fun experience.

I really enjoyed my experience here. Tickets were $20 each and well worth it if you like taking pics. Went in on a Monday at 1pm and there was basically no one in there. This was great because I was able to spend as long as I wanted to get the perfect shot. Obviously never felt rushed to take the picture. I would recommend having a third wheel for couples lol. A good amount of the paintings would be really nice for couples to be together in the picture. Even with nobody inside I spent about 2 hours going through it all. Definitely going back again with another friend so she can take couple pictures.

AMAZING place if you want to get silly and creative! My family and I had an awesome time. Took us about 1.5 hours to get through all the pictures and we have awesome photos and even better memories! No wait at the front door. Quick and easy purchase. Wasn’t very busy either on a Tuesday at around noon. Definitely recommend this place!! P.S. it’s located by the pretty garden area close to Foot Action (we got lost in the mall looking for this place initially so hopefully this helps!!!)

Ferris wheel
The Dream Wheel at American Dream offers a unique way to experience the Manhattan skyline with its 27 climate-controlled gondolas providing expansive views of the Hudson River and New York. The ride, which lasts up to 30 minutes, allows plenty of time for capturing perfect photos. Visitors can opt for VIP or Gold class experiences for added luxury and comfort, complete with special amenities such as free drinks and private cabins.
I did the VIP experience. $50 a person ( they have cheaper ones ) I wanted to have the swivel leather seats and blue tooth music connection. This also included a free drink. We bought some food at the stand to enjoy while taking in the beautiful view. It moves slow but it does gently rock at times...its only 20-30 minutes long....but was so much fun....you have to go with fun happy people because your attitude makes all the difference. If you are lame this will be lame if you know how to laugh, eat, joke and be merry this is great to do at least once.
Lay H — Google review
The Ferris wheel was a pleasant experience. Surprisingly, it didn’t even feel like it was moving—it was that smooth and slow. The gentle pace made it relaxing rather than thrilling, which was perfect for the kids. The cart was spacious enough for them to move around comfortably, and they weren’t scared at all. In fact, they hardly noticed they were on a Ferris wheel because it felt so steady and secure. I do wish the ride included two full rotations, though—it only went around once, which felt a bit too short for how enjoyable and calming it was

We really enjoyed our 25 minute ride on the Dream (Ferris) Wheel during our day out to the American Dream Mall retail and entertainment complex, when we visited NYC in September 2025 as part of my wife's 60th birthday year celebrations. The wheel took us 300ft into the air with stunning views across the Hudson River onto Manhattan Island, down the river into NJ and across to the adjoining Metlife stadium, which is home to the New York Jets baseball team and New York Giants NFL. We opted for the Economy Adult tickets at $26 each, which meant we could have shared our gondola with other people, and turned down the option to upgrade to a more exclusive gondola for just the two of us at a higher price as it was really quiet - as expected we ended up with one all to ourselves anyway.
Hong L — Google review
This is a really cool feature for a mall that I definitely recommend checking out. You get a great view of the NYC skyline from the Dream Wheel. They even have a concessions counter and you can get food and drinks to take on the wheel with you.
Matthew L — Google review
The views are amazing! I just went today during a summer sunny afternoon. You can see NYC skyline, the Meadowlands, Hackensack River, many surrounding towns, ect. Although the whole ride is 20 or 30 minutes, it passes fast, because there is a lot to see!! So in my opinion, it has the right time; 25 minutes is perfect. The employees are really nice, you feel welcomed. This is a true touristic attraction that I highly recommend. And keep in mind that there are many different times that are unique experiences: for example, riding in a summer afternoon; riding at night would be an awesome experience too; riding in the winter during or after snow would be also an awesome experience as well, so is worth to visit many more times!

Rumba Cubana is a Cuban restaurant and bar with locations in Guttenberg, North Bergen, Clifton, Jersey City, and Rochelle Park. The tropical-themed setting offers show-stopping tropical drinks like mojitos and pina coladas, authentic Cuban food, and lively music. Customers have enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and found the food to be affordable and tasty. Despite some waiting times on busy days, many have had exceptional dining experiences with knowledgeable and attentive servers.
A pasado muchos tiempo en El que no habia pisado un restaurant donde no Tengo absolutamente ninguna observacion negativa. Service food and atmosphere is spectacular. I do recommend the croquet de jamon. The shrimp mofongo absolutely fresh and smooth . The calamari was on point. And the server was absolutely professional y agradable. And prices affordable. Actually for the quality of the food and the great service they can raise their prices cause it's all so delicious. Mantengase ASI. Update : 2nd visit was also amazing . This time the shrimp ceviche was delicious and forget about the pina colada 🥥🌴 the best. Bistec de palomilla with rice and black beans . Plus the Cesar salad with some type of croutons that I loved. Fried yuca is so good. Amazing time. This will be my weekly favorite place to visit .

I have been to a few Rumbas many times, I always order the Vaca Frita. The morro is a little greasy, i can understand the vaca frita to be greasy but not the morro. But overall I do like this plate, just not sure why the rice was greasy. My bf had the marisco plate and he got sick and vomitted that same night and was sick next day too. I probably would stay away from the seafood. The service is always good, polite and accommodating.

The food is always on point, the service is always top notch, and the atmosphere is great! The staff is always attentive and you’re provided with a great dining experience. I tell people that this restaurant is a 5 star restaurant but with great pricing! I rarely write reviews but wanted to share how much my family and I love this place!

Been coming here since the place opened and have been pleased each time I visit. The food is consistently good and I enjoy the drinks as well. The sangria here is on point and I love the variety of appetizers. The entrees are so big that I usually just get a bunch of apps. Everything is fresh and comes out pretty quickly. No matter when I visit, the place is always crowded. They have valet parking, but you can usually find parking on the street.

Incredible that we were not allowed to sit down because there were not three people present for a birthday party of seven. The young lady at the front desk told me that I could not speak to the owner because he was busy with a guest. I waited five minutes and walked over to where he supposedly was supposed to be. I found out that the manager was not there at all which means the young lady lied right to my face and made us sit and wait until other people from our party arrived which was booked for 7:00 PM and we were there at 6:51 and we could not sit at our table. We had to wait and sit on a hard bench by the entrance. The food was terrible. The service was good after paying a $300 bill plus a large tip. I ordered a beer and surprisingly I was handed a bill for almost 6 dollars for a beer. I think that should’ve been a complementary beer at the spending all the money that we did. I will never go there again and you should not either. If anyone wants to contact me, they know my number and I would be more than glad to speak to anyone in person because it was embarrassing and absolutely unnecessary for them to treat us that way.

This is very fun! However, it is quite expensive for simply a 5 minute game. For a family of 5, I spent $140 for 2 games which only lasted a total of 10 minutes. Such a rip off. What they NEVER tell you is that each game is about 5-6min depending on the game. The booking site makes it appear at though each game is an hour long but they are not. I'll will give the fun a 5 rating but the overall grade is a 3 because it's expensive and very short. I would been happy spending money for at least a 25-30min per game but this is not the case. You can book multiple games for the same hour. You don't have to book one game for 12noon and another for 1pm. You can book 2 different games for 12 noon. 11am games are $10/person Everything after 12noon is $15/person. Make sure you PARK closer to section A. Section D is furthest away.

The park's beautiful scenery and well-maintained playground make it an ideal spot for families with young children. Additionally, the park features clean restrooms and a pleasant walking track through the woods.
Tonight were the fireworks at Memorial Park. I attended for the first time. The streets were closed at 5 pm, and I must say it was very well thought out. The streets approx. a block up were all closed, which made it very peaceful walking to the park. It really helped maintain a sound event. The fireworks were GREAT!!!! They blasted off earlier than expected, and the timing was perfect. As soon as they ended, the sky opened up, and it poured lol I'm looking forward to next year!

Visitors can enjoy themed rides based on popular shows such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, PAW Patrol, and Rugrats.
Great place for kids 12 and under. My son is 14 and he is down syndrome. This place is awesome. He loves playing in the paw patrol clubhouse. He is not much of a ride person so I don't mind hanging out for an hour while he plays. He does a few of the more calmer rides. If you can go during the week it is definitely quieter and there is a discount price. If you look hard enough online you will find discount prices. Tip for parents who don't like to go on rides. You do not have to pay for admission You are able to walk around with your children as they go on and off the rides. I do think that if you have a little one you should at least have one parent or adult ride with that child. But you do have to pay for yourself if you do want to ride with your child.

It was our first time attending American dream and nickelodeon universe did not dissapoint! The staff were friendly rides were entertaining. Price point was not bad. We came in weekday so it was quiet and the lines were short and fast. I removed a star due to the arcade. The claw machines totally rigged making the claw release your prize right before falling into the bin. Real scam and dissapointment for the kiddos. We still had a great time! Pay them a visit!

October 2025: Really nice park. I love the green coaster. It was irritating that the green coaster didnt take the pay by ride, but thankfully we hadn't paid for points yet. Someone actually gave us their extra day pass we had too. Staff was all great. No issues with staff. I had a great time. I only stayed an hour or 2. No lines really either.

I had such a great time here! The place is huge, clean, and really well-maintained. The water slides were my favorite especially the big one, which made me feel like a kid again! The pool area was fun and relaxing, and the staff were all polite and friendly. I even ended up chatting with a complete stranger while waiting for a ride, which made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have fun, cool off, and enjoy a day full of excitement. I can’t wait to visit again!
Pauline C — Google review
The only things that needs to be fixed here is the atmosphere. Maybe they can try adding more plants and colorfulness like the other Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America. One more critique is how some of the roller coasters supports don't have individual footers. They just stick it into the concrete ground and use it as on big footer. So some rides like their signature attraction (TMNT Shellraiser) is a bit rougher than it should be. Other than that, it's great place to be in. I don't think any of the rides are "rough." Some just have a rattle to them. Some of the other great rides besides their star ride is Sandy's Blasting Bronco, Jimmy Nuetron's Atom Smasher, Kraang Prime Pandemonium (my favorite,) and Aang's Air Gliders. The family attractions are great too. For a ride to be considered "thrill," it pretty much has to go upside down because they don't have a lot of room to build up. This is definitely a place for thrill seekers. And if you don't want to spend the whole day here, there's always the second largest mall in the USA to explore.
Jonathan C — Google review
Very fun and thought out. Not too much walking. It's comfortable, temperature-wise and well-lit. The park is clean and has clean bathrooms. There are rides for the big kids, too. The best part is that you can leave for lunch at the food court in the mall then return to the theme park and ride/play more!
Leah L — Google review
Always a great time for the kids. Some of the bigger rides can even put fear in adults! The proximity to NYC, amount of parking and stores/food options in the mall before or after your theme park visit is awesome. Buy tickets online to save $10 from cost at the park.

Got to see my first NBA game here, in 2008 (the 2008-09 NBA season, when Vince Carter and Danny Granger were still playing at a high level). The place inside, as far as I remember it, was confusing as hell. Layout was structured meh. Seating was also somewhat uncomfortable. But the atmosphere and AC was very comforting. Fans who still had the Nets to cheer for, especially when up against a then struggling Pacers team. The thundersticks were dope. Wish I still had them. Felt awesome to mess around with it. Staff was very nice and helpful. When we (me + my dad) had a problem they were quick to note it and find a solution. As respectful as they come.

Only weeks before Christmas last year, I had called to check on the availability of an OLED Switch console in white, since it was on my son’s wishlist. The owner was able to find one and have it ready for pickup well in advance of the holiday. We visited yesterday to enjoy a few hours in their gaming lounge, since it had been a while between visits. We enjoyed some retro gaming fun with both of my boys. Also picked up some Pokémon cards while we were there, and inquired about a card binder that they had previously had available. Less than 24 hours later, the owner messaged me with an image of the binder we were looking for and says he can get it for us. This is what you receive when you shop at a locally owned store! Exceptional customer service and the knowledge that you’re supporting a person, not a corporation.

Had an absolutely great experience here! I was able to get a brand new Nintendo Switch today 12/2/21, the week after Black Friday and with the holidays coming up. All of the other major retailers in the entire state of NJ were all sold out, and after driving around for hours to different places, calling the major retailers, being put on hold multiple times, and being told that the Nintendo Switches were sold out everywhere within a 200+ mile radius, I decided to try my luck by giving Side Scrollers in East Rutherford a call after Googling “Video Game Store Near Me”, and thankfully they had it! So I rushed over as quickly as I could and left a happy customer! This is why it’s super important to support LOCAL! Especially in this day and age with everything going on over the last year and a half. They’re store is very clean, the staff are very friendly, and I had the pleasure of meeting with the owner who was super cool and down to earth. I’m definitely going to be go back here in the future and to whomever is reading this, I’d highly recommend supporting this business!

Even if they hadn’t, I would still give them 5 stars. I went in while there was a tournament going on. The employee was able to maintain a conversation with me while also making the announcements for the tournament. Fantastic experience. Can’t imagine how people are putting 1 stars for such a fine establishment. I can’t fathom how wearing a mask can be such an inconvenience for some.

Extremely glad I found this place. I started getting back into YuGiOH around last summer and was extremely grateful to find a shop so close that hosts tournaments. The owners Justin and Audrey are always respectful and understanding when it comes to explanations and easing you into the game. They host a bunch of other games too and have a great collection of consoles games too just give a call to find out. The tournaments are always a good environment and the people are all understanding for any newbies that may feel shy to want to participate with other players. Look forward to many more visits and success for Side Scrollers !

I went here for the first time on 11/7/21 for my first ever yugioh locals, and I have nothing but great things to say! Everyone who worked there was really nice and the tournament was really well organized. The other players were all really helpful as well, which made for a really great atmosphere. Big thank you to everyone involved, I will definitely be going back!

Great atmosphere of players during yugioh locals when I attended for the first time. The people running the store were attentive and new rulings which helped. Definetly will be attending in the future for more events.

Excellent game shop. The attention to detail definitely makes a gamer feel at home, irregardless of age. The shop owners Justin and his wife Adrian are super kind and helpful. I wouldn't have given Magic the Gathering an attempt at all if they weren't so patient with introducing the game while teaching me the ropes every step of the way. I recommend any card gamer, video gamer, gamer gamer; vet or noob go to check them out. 5 stars easy.

Went in here about a week ago with the intention of purchasing a switch and a couple of games. However the staff refused to serve me as I wasnt wearing a mask. Now I have no issue wearing a mask since many people have been and are still negatively affected by COVID. Even after I told the staff that I planned on making a large purchase I was told that they don't even have a mask to provide me. Your store lost out on a $500 sale because of a 25c mask. Your store may want to reconsider accomadating customers with masks if you choose to be a minority store that still requires them. Most stores don't require them so most people don't have them on their person. How many thousands in sales has your store lost due to this short sightedness? The refusal almost felt political in nature. As if to say since I chose not to carry a mask on me my money is no good here. I will NEVER shop here again. I took my business elsewhere to digital press in Clifton. Not only were they only more accommodating, they had a better selection/deals too!

Family friendly and very quiet park. I love to walk there with my baby 😊

Park was lovely. We saw The Infernos. Very good performance. Park wasn't crowded. Only complaint is there should be more parking, especially handicapped parking.

This is a beautiful park where you can relax under the shade of the gazebo. I love meeting here on Sundays for worship service and fellowship.

Cute park, but not much to walk. The town has concerts here during the summer and early fall.

A perfectly sized community park for musical reviews in the summer and loved it and tonight we saw "New power soul"

Great roller hockey rink! Surface in good shape with nothing to really cause issues. Two nets. Benches. Plenty of parking Advise to always keep both gates open because it’s hard to open them from the inside if they are closed
