Located on the scenic banks of the Wollondilly River at Marsden Weir, Goulburn Historic Waterworks is a well-preserved site that dates back to 1885. It was Goulburn's first reticulated water supply and features a pumping station with an intact Appleby Bros. beam engine pump and W&J Galloway & Sons Boilers, making it the only complete, steam-powered municipal water supply facility in its original location in the Southern Hemisphere.
Amazing history here, last one of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Our tour guide had fantastic knowledge of the whole site, and while this is basically a free site, you can give a small donation and please do, as the site is mostly maintained by volunteers. We are so glad we popped in for a visit on our way to Canberra.
Val R — Google review
When passing through Goulburn, it's worth taking a moment to stop, look around, and enjoy a short walk if you have the time. It's peaceful and beautiful! You can see black swans relaxing in the river while the warm sun bathes you in calmness.
Yang Z — Google review
Popped in after the excellent river walk. Unfortunately the cafe was closed as it was not a steaming day. Even so, the kids loved the play area, and the gardens were lovely. The big kid (me) loved looking at the boilers. At first, I thought the museum was also closed. However, on pressing the call bell, a gentleman appeared unlocked the pump house and was a wealth of knowledge. Well worth a visit after the river walk and a must if you are a steam buff and want to see a working beam engine.
Darren P — Google review
Hidden gem in Gulburn. Fun fact: The steam powered pump is the oldest in the southern hemisphere in its original location. If you are driving by the town must stop for a quick visit. Michele the volunteer there was very kind and helpful in showing us around.
Rahul K — Google review
Well done preserving the engine in working condition. Gentleman explained every detail and was soo good. Voluntary Cash only donation, no entry fee.
Aby A — Google review
It's free to visit the waterworks building and museum. The interior of the museum is not big , but it is fascinating, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable . There is just so much to learn. If you visit out of peak periods, when you walk up to the water works museum there is a buzzer you can press that will call a guide who will come to meet you and give you the option of a tour. This is what we did when we saw the building was closed There is a free carpark here and a beautifully maintained garden, with benches throughout were you can sit and take in the scenery. Wheelchair accessible parking and entry, plus bathrooms which are wheelchair accessible as well At the entry of the water works is a lovely picnic area with BBQ grills and tables, swings and toilets
Jojo F — Google review
The Waterworks were just amazing 🤩 The lady was so helpful and told us about the history of the Waterworks and even showed us through the venue. The gardens were amazing and were maintained very well. It would be an amazing spot to have a picnic 🧺 at because there is a grass and water spot next to it. Also be CAREFUL OF SNAKES 🐍

The Big Merino is a monumental tribute to the local wool industry, featuring a massive replica of a Merino ram that stands at 15.2 meters high, 18 meters long, and weighs 98 tonnes. This iconic attraction was built in 1985 and offers visitors the unique opportunity to enter the structure. Inside, guests can explore a permanent exhibition showcasing the history of wool production in Australia.
Whoever design and build the structure deserves Bog Praise. The Big Merino looks so real & majestic and it’s definitely worth a detour from the main highway to see it. It houses a souvenir shop and a free museum, it’s nice to be able to walk in that Giant.
Ls C — Google review
Welcome to “Australia’s Statue of Liberty.” You’ve seen the Pyramids and the Eiffel Tower, but nothing prepares you for the majesty of The Big Merino. It’s a giant concrete sheep, complete with a wool museum and a gift shop, and yes. Seriously definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Daniel W — Google review
Stopped on our way to Geelong. Impressive statue. Took some snaps, had breakfast at Trappers Bakery, fuelled up and continued with the journey. Plenty of parking and other restaurants nearby. If you are planning a trip between NSW and Victoria make this place as your pit stop.
Antony R — Google review
This exquisite gift shop boasts an extensive selection of items, particularly focussing on high-quality woollen garments and accessories. The shop’s commitment to Australian-made products is commendable, providing an ideal platform to procure distinctive souvenirs. The staff’s exceptional kindness and helpfulness were evident throughout my visit. While searching for a specific dog coat, I was delighted to discover the Digeridoona line. The staff kindly suggested that I bring my dog into the shop for a fitting, which proved to be a valuable assistance, especially considering the chilly winds of Goulburn outside.
Christopher C — Google review
Great place to stop and relax with many shops around. It was a busy corner with the traffic coming in and out from the petrol station. The Big Merino Gift Shop had a nice collection of woollen clothes, souvenirs and hand made items.
Manasa T — Google review
The Big Ram is truly one of a kind such a unique piece of work that you can’t help but stop and admire! It’s not just the impressive size and craftsmanship that make it special, but the whole experience around it. The location is super convenient, with a bakery for a fresh bite, a servo nearby for a quick fuel stop and even a Maccas right there if you’re after something familiar. Don’t miss the amazing gift shop — it’s packed with quality souvenirs that really capture the spirit of the place. Whether you’re just passing through or making it a special trip, the Big Ram is well worth the visit! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-See Aussie Icon!
Peeran K — Google review
It is a good place to stop and get some food and coffee. There is a huge statue of sheep, a tourist attraction. There is a gift shop adjacent to the sheep statue. The prices at this shop are a bit higher than normal. It also has a variety of jams and honey. Parking is not a problem. You can have a picture around the statue.

Military Museums
Perched atop Rocky Hill, the Rocky Hill War Memorial and Museum in Goulburn is a tribute to the soldiers of WWI. The museum showcases a remarkable collection of military artifacts thoughtfully displayed in both old and new sections. The memorial tower, built in 1925 through public funding, honors local service personnel and offers breathtaking views of Goulburn and its surroundings.
Another really well designed Australian war memorial, where the modern expansion nicely complements the historical landmarks. Driving into the memorial seems a bit drab, but upon entry, it is much more pleasant. Enjoyed the views of Goulburn from the tower, makes for a nice detour en route to Canberra. Entry is free, but donations are welcomed.
Life's A — Google review
An interesting war memorial and museum. Before coming here, we did not know at all that there were soldiers from Goulburn who contributed and risked their lives for several wars that happened throughout history. Unfortunately, the museum was closed when we came on Thursday (their opening days are weird). Also, the memorial tower was on renovation. There is a scenic lookout that overlooks the Goulburn city, it was pretty beautiful. There is a picnic bench and I think we saw a walking track as well. We did not stay until sunset hour, but I bet the view of the sunset would be stunning from up here.
Zahra Z — Google review
Great war memorial in the Goulburn Hills. Stairs to the top are adorned with information boards. Awesome views from the top. Parking is plentiful as well as mobility parking. Beware of snakes signs on display. A museum is on-site as well.
Tim K — Google review
Beautiful views of Goulburn township and the surrounding hills. The tower is open again after being closed for a few months, there are a few flights of stairs to get to the top but it's worth it ! The adjacent war museum was great too.
CarolynA ( — Google review
This is a very good memorial and unusual being a tower with a great view from the top and contains interesting photos and a grand Marble Honor Roll. There is also a museum and Heritage Cottage on the same site well worth visiting with a gift shop. Well worth the donation suggested for entry.
Greg G — Google review
What a great place to learn our history and to give respect for our fallen hero's. Free entry with great things to look at and read. Take your time and walk up to the top of the memorial tower great views of Goulburn

The Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre, located on Braidwood Road, is a must-visit for railway enthusiasts. This museum showcases the transition from steam to diesel eras with its well-preserved 42-road roundhouse that operated from 1918 to 1986. Visitors can explore an impressive collection of steam and diesel locomotives, including a historic Vulcan Foundry tank engine dating back to 1884.
I am very grateful for my friendship with the steam locomotives there. It’s a pity 5916 and 3085 have departed permanently, though. I hope they’re enjoying their new residency at Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway. I saw the photos of 3085’s departure and I could sense that she was a bit nervous and scared. I guess a 113-year-old rust-covered steam locomotive would feel that way if she was taken somewhere unfamiliar.
Rebecca W — Google review
Great place to visit to see historic trains and the round yard. Friendly staff who were happy to chat about the locomotives and the items on display. We got there late with only 1/2 before closing, but we still got to see most of the displays. Would recommend visiting if you're in the Goulburn area.
CarolynA ( — Google review
The Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre is the main precipice of the railway centric town of Goulburn. Although I wasn’t fortunate enough to see any of the engines up And running, I was still amazed by what their collection of preserved locomotives had to offer. I even met a volunteer who actually met The Flying Scotsman during her Australian tour in 1988 when stopping at Goulburn. This museum is an absolute must visit when you’re on holidays in this very historic town.
Harrison A — Google review
Nice place visit! Pretty reasonable entry fee. Good informative chat with the ticket office. You just need to be more like a train or engine enthusiast to find more value.
Abhi K — Google review
What a great place to visit and wander around. Loved how we could go into a couple of the trains and see what it's like in them. Great friendly staff that would help you or answer any questions you had,a 10/10 experience

Goulburn Regional Art Gallery is a significant institution in the New South Wales region, housed in a purpose-built facility at the Civic Centre since 1990. It features a diverse range of contemporary Australian art and hosts regular exhibitions, some with an environmental focus that resonates with the local community. The gallery also spearheads a public art initiative, adorning the city with nearly 40 murals, sculptures, and installations that reflect Goulburn's heritage.
Small but interesting gallery with a range of exhibits and welcoming staff. Well worth dropping in.
S T — Google review
Welcome to Goulburn Regional Art Gallery. We are the region's hub for presenting, exhibiting and collecting contemporary art. Our program is big, bold and full of ideas that will provoke conversation and connection to the work of the artists we work with. We are a cultural facility of Goulburn Mulwaree Council. We are open six days a week with exhibitions that present what is happening now in Australian contemporary art across two gallery spaces. Our exhibitions inspire our education and outreach initiatives which engage everyone from littlies under five years old to senior members of our community. We run programs everyday both at the Gallery and on the road. We actively acquire works for our permanent collection and commission new work for our public art program. We are located at the Civic Centre on Bourke Street, but our accesible entrance is via Church Street. Admission is always free and the Gallery Store is fully stocked with a carefully curated selection of artisan items, as well as our Gallery tote bags and catalogues. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners of these lands and custodians of country. Everything we do is for our artists and for our community. We want to make the arts part of daily life in Goulburn and welcome you to join our conversation.

The Cathedral Church of St Saviour, located in Bourke Street, is a Gothic Anglican church that was designated as a cathedral by Queen Victoria. Designed by the renowned Australian architect Edmund Blackett, it is considered one of Australia's most beautiful Gothic-style churches. Constructed from Bundanoon sandstone, this masterpiece features delicate tracery throughout and a stunning east window. The cathedral offers services and tours to visitors.
One of the oldest gothic architecture in Goulburn. It is gorgeous. I came 9.15 and invited to have morning prayer in 9.30. And I liked it. The dean priest is also so kind. If visiting Goulburn again, definitely will stop by and contact the priest. Cheers.
Ricardo G — Google review
Such a beautiful building, unfortunately they had shut early so i couldn't go inside, but it was also Easter, so I completely understand!

We visited this church which looks like the biggest church in Gouldburn. The architecture is impressive and the atmosphere peaceful. We walked in quietly to have a look at the stained glass and pews. Worth a visit when in town.

I pass through Goulburn several times a year, but for the first time, I found out through Google Maps that there is a magnificent church in this town! The exterior is very beautiful, but because it is not an open day, I can only watch and take pictures from the outside.

Absolutely stunning piece of architecture. Really liked the high vaulted timber ceiling and all the beautiful motifs distributed throughout the entire cathedral. Well worth a visit if you're in town!

Victoria Park in Goulburn boasts a magnificent rose garden with around 1,500 roses of 100 different varieties, all conveniently labeled. The park has recently been renovated and now features excellent facilities for children, including a flying fox, climbing castle, mini maze, basketball court, and more. Visitors can also enjoy the modern BBQ areas and shaded spaces. While the playground offers something for all ages to enjoy, some visitors have noted that the restroom facilities could use improvement.
Great park to get the kids to let off steam, from the climbing nets to the maize
Mel ( — Google review
Fantastic Park! We pulled off the Hume Hey for lunch and stumbled across this awesome park! Built in 2018, it is fresh and modern with BBQ areas and lots of shade. The kids had a blast and didn't want to leave... We will definitely be back again!
Danielle G — Google review
This park is an absolute gem! It has recently been redone and has fabulous kids play facilities, BBQ facilities and open spaces!!! There is fabulous flying fox, a multi-tower climbing castle and mini maze. Park is suitable for all ages. There is also an aging basketball court if your that way inclined! Can’t speak more highly of the quality of the Park fit out here!!!
Michael M — Google review
Great park! The layout, the options, the shade, this park has something for everything. So many different things happening at this park it really has something for kids of all ages. Can’t wait to go back when we are visiting the area again
J D — Google review
This park should get better security, one of my friends got threatened (with a razor sharp knife) by a kid on the skateboard park, he also almost lit up a fire in the steep hill down the skateboard park, this park is good but security must improve, my friend is literally scared to go to that park. (If you’re wondering about his appearance he has a slightly curly orange hair, I won’t share his name for personal reasons and he’s short, I’ve heard he’s in grade 6 in 2024) so please upgrade the safety
Flynn T — Google review
We love the adventure park. From the flying fox to the big round swing and the slippery sides, we always have lots of fun. Feel like sitting some hoops, there is a basketball court and a rage cage if you want to kick a soccer ball or roller-skate. There is also a sandpit so pack a picnic or use the BBQ there and have a blast!!
Kylz M — Google review
Great playground with something for all ages. Downside is the bathrooms are revolting. Dirty, dark and full of cobwebs. Too bad that didn't upgrade those facilities whilst they were updating the park.

Riversdale is a charming Georgian homestead located in Goulburn, originally built as an inn in the 1830s. Over the years, it has served as a school and residence before being acquired by the Twynam family in 1875. The property showcases the artistic talents of Emily Twynam through her woodcarvings, artwork, and furniture that still adorn the house.
Good info about early NSW settlement in the tour. Nice historic furniture including a metre wide table made from a single slab of cedar. Nice gardens.

Thanks National Trust for caring for this very special property. It's in an unlikely area, hidden away behind an ugly industrial zone, but I felt like I'd stepped through a portal in time to a secret home and garden. Riversdale is so well cared for and clearly loved by its guardians. Many thanks to the guides for their inspired narrative and presentation.

Garroorigang is a unique private residence that offers a rare glimpse into life in the mid-19th century. Originally built as an inn for teamsters, it later served as a boys' boarding school and then became the private home of Samuel Harborne Belcher. The property, which has been preserved for over 160 years, is now open to the public by the Hume family, descendants of the explorer Hamilton Hume.
Highly recommend visiting Garrorigang House. The home is beautifully set on landscaped gardens and at the end of a nice long driveway. The home itself is amazing, full of original furniture, character and charm. Enjoy a fantastic guided tour by the owner and listen to the history of the home and how it was handed down from generation to generation. Take your time through the rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and lounge rooms. The home is amazing.
Chris B — Google review
An eclectic 1850s residence that has experienced alternative lives as a school and an inn. The current owner is a member of the family that owned it for most of its existence. He guided us through the house, each room full of wonderful artefacts and even more tales from the past. Unfortunately we are not permitted to photograph inside or I would show you how spectacular the rooms are. Anyway, at least I have photographs of the outside.
Gregory L — Google review
Stuart Hume very kindly allowed us to visit today even though it is not currently open to the public off season, as he happened to be there himself today. Being filled with several generations of the Hume family furnishings, photos, memorabilia and travel souvenirs adds so much to the warmth and atmosphere of the lovely home. Also hearing so much of the history and changing configurations of the home from its earliest use as a pub, then an exclusive boys' school and then settling as a simple family home, was great 'fodder' for my love of old properties and their stories. In a pretty and old fashioned garden setting, I can imagine it would look lovely in spring and summer. There is also an historical marker outside by the road commemorating Hume and Hovell's expedition passing through that location on their 1200 mile (4 month) trek overland to Geelong and back. I certainly recommend a visit here, on the Braidwood Road, just 5 mins out from the centre of Goulburn. The house is brimming with beautiful fixtures (eg gorgeous and unusual lights), artifacts, and precious family possessions.

Wonderful old home/establishment filled with beautiful, original furniture and treasures of those who have come before. An historical treasure, which is being so well looked after and shared by the Hume family. An entry fee of $15 each gives you a guided tour through much of the home.

Goulburn Wetlands, located near the war memorial on the Mulwaree River, has undergone extensive restoration in recent years. I took my grandchildren for day trip to Goulburn Wetlands We all enjoyed the walk but it proved hard to find enough water due to period of drought conditions The signage was excellent and we also found visiting the cemetery on route historically interesting The largest poundage had a wonderful hide to observe the water birds
Katalin T — Google review
This lovely wetland is a staged regeneration of an abandoned brick pit and pond flowing through Goulburn City. At the time we visited it was well established with heaps of birds in the air and water. There is a viewing platform that gives good viewing of the whole of the visible wetland area. Popular place, need to go early to avoid the heat as well. There are walking tracks around the area for the adventurous. Free entry. You can spend several hours here depending on your interests. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Beautiful place. Lots to see. Parking is easy. Great place for photography.
S V — Google review
Everything I visit the wetlands it gets a little bit more interesting and pretty. More birds, some landscaping, and the gardens becoming more established, all adding to the lovely walk around.
Naomi T — Google review
Such a beautiful place to go for a walk around town. It’s about a 25 mins walk slow pace taking in all the scenery. You can see birds and kangaroos up close.

Nice little park/wetland in Goulburn. Two different easy pathsthrough the area with a lot of information signs about the flora and fauna. Lots of animals, including a troop of kangaroos that has taken up residence. Also several Bird Hides for your early morning bird spotting.
Chiel ( — Google review
Quiet, flat walk and we were able to take our dog on a leash. Lots of kangaroos and birds and the gardens are growing and looking great.

Kingsdale Wines is a picturesque winery located just a short drive north of the city, offering a laid-back cellar-door experience with a focus on sauvignon, semillon, and shiraz varietals. The limestone-clad cellar door overlooks Lake Sooley and provides an inviting setting to sample their wines while enjoying coffee and light refreshments. Additionally, visitors can explore locally-made handcrafts and take in the stunning views from the verandahs.
Amazing Malbec and single malt whiskey. Such a lovely little gem just out of Goulburn.

A hidden gem! Was recommended Kingsdale Wines by a colleague so stopped by with some family and friends for a quick look on our way through Goulburn. Ended up staying for hours and sleeping the night in Goulburn. The A-grade wine, whisky, cheese platters and nibbles were surpassed only by the hospitality of John and Georgia, who are knowledgeable and experienced beyond their years. Will take our children next time so they can experience the conversational exotic birds, horses, cows, pigs, peacocks and other animals on the property.

Winery with a super beautiful view and with lots of farm animals! Definitely need to stop here if you are in Goulburn😊
Cindy Y — Google review
Went to try some wine but came away with an experience. The view from the cellar door starts a lot of I did not expect that. Next a variety of wines that one will suit most people's taste. Our host Bart loves to tell a story and you come away knowing so much more than you went in. Bart is a chef by trade (restaurant coming soon) but also the full time property caretaker. We finished our adventure with a tour of a mini zoo of exotic poultry and birds with a few sheep with lambs for good measure. Definitely an unexpected surprise.

Our plan was to do wine tasting around the area and unexpectedly Kingsdale winery has lots to see, mini zoo with variety of birds, alpaca, cute little ponies, a donkey and many more. SO much fun with parrots as they sing and communicate which is so funny. The owner was kind, surely we'll be back🥂. Wines tastes good too and a cheese platter🧀.

Our favorite wine we’ve found in the highlands. The Semillon and Merlot/Malbecs were great, the staff were kind and knowledgeable, and the resident Kelpie was such a cutie!

A good view, lots of animals to interest the kids including talking birds, nice snack foods like cheese platter, wedges and sweet potato wedges, recommend their sav blanc... would be my new friday or Saturday night dinner spot if they opened that late and did woodfired pizzas

Nestled in a quiet street near the park, The Roses Cafe & Catering Co. is a beloved spot among locals. The spacious interior boasts high ceilings and an impressive food display featuring freshly made focaccia, baked goods, quiches, and more. This family-run cafe offers modern service with a touch of tradition and provides great vegetarian options like granola with seasonal fruits or smashed avo on sourdough.
Set in an airy, old school hall, with ornate ceilings and old style windows, this restaurant/cafe is both spacious and cozy at the same time. It has a centerpiece of colourful flowers for sale and also some comfy couches set around a fireplace and old photo of the town. Friendly staff and an incredible selection of breakfast, lunch and tea items at the counter that are a feast for the eyes. Food was delish.

My partner, friends, and I were driving from Canberra to Wollongong and stopped here for breakfast. The staff were really friendly, and there was a great variety of menu options, pies, and salads. I had the roses meat pie with Caesar salad — the pie was full of flavour and sauce, absolutely delicious! My only mistake was ordering a saucy salad with it (They even provided sauce on the side, but I accidentally poured all of it in 🥲), as the pie itself was already rich and tasty. My partner and friends also enjoyed their meals. Definitely worth the stop!

Great found in Goulburn. Not many places open early Sunday morning but found this cafe right next to the motel we stayed was open. Plenty options for breakfast. Not only egg dishes, pancakes, French toast but varieties of pies, sausage rolls, quiches, wraps, pastries, muffins and so on… I had very filling and delicious Reuben sandwich and my partner had chicken pie and sausage roll. He said that was the best pie and sausage roll ever as they both had lots of fillings and the pastries were still fluffy and not too hard and thick. Highly recommended 👏🏻

We always stop on our way to Beechworth to this place, staff is incredibly friendly. The place is lovely inside out and dog friendly coffee is superb and it easily has the best Reuben sandwich that I've had in my life.!

Deli-café in huge historic school hall off the main street. A bit noisy due to original timber floor. Gorgeous high pressed metal ceiling. Friendly staff offering great service & good food. Order & pay at counter then items brought to table. Modern clean toilet facilities. Great for a stop when passing through.

Bakery

Trappers Bakery is a must-visit pit stop along the Hume Highway, offering a wide array of delectable baked goods and freshly brewed coffee and tea. Conveniently located just minutes from the highway exit, it provides ample off-street parking and boasts friendly and helpful staff. The bakery's sweet treats are not only delightful but also generously portioned, making them perfect for on-the-go enjoyment.
Everything you want in a cafe, you get it here at Trappers Bakery in Goulburn. Came here to see the Giant Merino sheep and it’ll not be complete without a coffee - which Trappers is just a minute walk away. Good coffee, good pastries (love the Berry Danish), good service and a nice place to sit in. Just wish the coffee was served in a normal cup instead of paper cup but looking at the crowd, I understand the need to use disposable cups. Though filled with customers, service is surprisingly fast.

Located at 4 Sowerby Street, Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a wonderful bakery and general spot to stop whether you’re a local or stoping for a quick meal travelling through. We were the latter. I had a sausage roll and a coke. It was delicious 😋. The menu is quite extensive for a bakery, plenty to choose from and there is a good cake 🍰 selection. The bakery is located directly across the road from the Big Merino and also has a Motel attached. It’s really well designed with wonderful quotes displayed on the walls and ceiling. There’s ample seating but from what I saw, it’s very popular so the seating can fill up fast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s a ramp to the side of the building so it’s also accessible and there’s good toilet 🚻 facilities, including disabled toilets. Would definitely recommend a visit. Thumbs up!! 👍👍
Nerine C — Google review
Ordered a Chunky steak pie, spinach and feta roll and coffee - latte and piccolo. The pastry was amazing and I reckon one of the best I have had. It was thin and crispy and the sesame on top gave it an amazing roasted taste with great texture. The coffee however was a little disappointing.
Claudia P — Google review
Lovely place and delicious foods. 🫰🏻❤️ One person who caught my attention is MOLLY serving as with an attitude of not being polite to customers! It’s been a tradition in Australia to greet customers and to make feel customer feel welcomed. Please train her on how to deliver services with good manner.
Franklin M — Google review
We’re from Sydney and stopped by Trappers Bakery in Goulburn during our road trip. The lamington and carrot cake were absolutely delicious, fresh, moist, and full of flavour. It’s such a nice spot for a quick stopover, and the bakery has that classic country charm. The only downside was the service — the staff weren’t very attentive or friendly, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the quality of the baked goods definitely makes it worth a visit!
Julienne — Google review
We enjoyed a stop here after meeting the Big Marino (directly across the road). It was freezing outside so finding a real wooden fire in the corner of this cosy establishment was very welcome. We enjoyed a pie each and some hot chips. Great service and the food was great, well priced too.
AJ R — Google review
Stopped in on the way to Sydney and this place was packed! It’s nice and big inside though, with lots of seating room. I got the veggie pie, a coffee and a berry danish. The place has few vegetarian options and the pie, while filling and full of vegetables, was a tad boring. I hope in the future they branch out and have use vegan meat. Good coffee, but the best thing was the danish. Getting a good pastry these days is hard and this was one of the best I’ve had in a long time! Sweet flaky pastry, a custard filling and a sugary berry filling - it’s definitely very sweet, but I delicious! I’d go back for this!
KDD — Google review
Overall, a nice place for a stopover to take a break from driving. They offer a good choice of food and drinks, and the large restaurant area combined with swift service makes you wish to return. We were unfortunate to run into a major issue with one of the staff members, but the duty supervisor swiftly defused the situation and took appropriate action. The coffee was tasty ☕️

We really enjoyed this cafe. Service, food and atmosphere were all very much loved and appreciated by all x4 of us who dined. The “green bowl” was really delicious and I would order it again in a heartbeat. The veggie burger was apparently awesome and the smashed avocado was given a very good rating by my child. Smoothies were great too! Next time we’re stopping by, we’ll make a point to call in here for food, such a great cafe with super helpful and warm staff.

Great fresh, healthy and inviting lunches & great coffee and loose leaf teas - the definite best choice in comparison to McDonalds the other side of the car park. Grit is definitely the far better choice. Friendly staff, cool vibe - food was fab - corn fritters for the thumbs up and I absolutely loved my salad bowl of 3 impressive salads - scrumptious and refreshingly tasty and satisfying.

On our trek from Sydney to Melbourne we stopped in Goulburn for the night and on our way out of town we visited the Grit Cafe. When we arrived it was pretty busy but our party of 6 managed to get a table. We placed our order at the counter and the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the pancakes minus the popcorn because to me it just didn't make sense. My wife ordered the avocado toast. Both orders came out in a timely manner and looked amazing. The whole table were all very pleased with their orders. All the food was fantastic!! The atmosphere was pleasant as well , not loud and very comfortable. If you're passing through Goulburn make it a stop on your list.

Food ok but terrible customer service. Teenage girl at counter, zero smile or greeting, barely any eye contact. Took the wrong order and overcharged me by $20. I only realised after I paid. She grudgingly refunded and charged the correct account with zero eye contact, apology, or any kind of personality. Some basic friendliness would go a long way.

Brewery
Food & Drink
The Goulburn Brewery, designed by renowned architect Francis Greenway and constructed from 1836 to 1840, is a heritage-listed establishment in country NSW. Its buildings, primarily made of load-bearing brickwork, stand as a significant industrial complex from early colonial times. Over the years, it has adapted to different economic shifts and now offers guided heritage tours, tastings, entertainment, and displays.
This brewery is an absolute gem. Housed in a beautifully preserved historical building, it has an atmosphere that’s both charming and unique you really feel the character of the place as soon as you walk in. The attention to detail in honoring the building’s past while creating a modern, welcoming space is amazing. The beer selection is top-notch, with something for every palate, from crisp lagers to bold IPAs and rich stouts. My two favourites were the Local Larger and Hazy Pale. But what really surprised me was the food it’s not your typical “brewery bites.” Every dish was fresh and flavorful, making the meal just as much of a highlight as the drinks. Between the historic setting, amazing food, and great craft beer, this brewery is the perfect spot for both locals and visitors. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Gareth D — Google review
We went out with friends on Saturday night and visited the brewery for the first time. It turned out to be such a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the cheese and cured meat platter, which was packed with flavor and a perfect way to begin the night. The pork knuckle was incredible—so tender it melted in the mouth—served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh slaw that complemented it perfectly. We also tried the scotch fillet, which was just the right size and cooked to perfection, something that’s rare to find these days. Overall, we had an amazing evening and truly enjoyed everything. We’ll definitely be back!
Vetta M — Google review
Great upmarket country vibe with delicious food and great beers. The arancini balls were great. There were a lot of whole olives with the ciabatta- I had hoped it would be more ciabatta and less olive but it was nice, and something different with the chorizo in it. Perhaps an olive and herb paste and some olive oil might be a nice addition to this dish, with a few less whole olives and more bread. The pork knuckle hit the spot and the burger had some great flavours. Quite good portion sizes. The beers were nice. The sparkling was different and we loved it. The IPA and the Hoppy lager were also favourites. The stout was on the lighter side but still a full flavour which we enjoyed - really nice. The grounds were picturesque with a heritage feel and have been manicured beautifully. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Table water was brought without having to ask, staff were considerate and waited for me to take my photo before placing more food in front of me, paying was easy and efficient. I love the uniform! Reminds me a bit of the Clarkson's farm style Farmers Dog pub with a quality feel that you can tell lots of heart has gone into. A kids menu would be a welcome addition to provide a cheaper option for families so parents can enjoy themselves and aren't priced out of going. Highly recommend and we'll be back!
Rebecca — Google review
We enjoyed a lovely lunch there yesterday afternoon. The venue is beautiful, with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing and well-priced, and it was hard to choose a favourite beer as they were all fantastic! The menu had something for everyone, with plenty of interesting choices that will definitely make you want to come back and try more. My personal highlight was the poached apple & pear crumble dessert—absolutely delicious! Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and great food. The outdoor area, with its beautiful lawns, is perfect for a picnic. We can’t wait to go back! There’s also a great little shop where you can pick up merchandise like T-shirts and hats, as well as take-home beer to enjoy later.

One of the best pools I’ve been to in Australia. Variety of pools to choose from, incredibly clean and well thought out design. Water temperature was warm which is perfect in winter. The deep end of the lap pool has a small ledge so shorter patrons can safely perch 😊 toilets and showers were clean relative to other public pools. 6.5 for a casual adult swim is very much a bargain.

Greeted upon entry by friendly staff member. Entry quite affordable for one adult and 2 children under 3 yrs. Facility is very clean and spacious. Although it was a Sat, there was plenty of room and it wasn’t over crowded. The cafe has nice, affordable food, old school favourites. Definitely a family friend place. I do miss some of the outdoor fun, but really can’t complain about the facility. The cafe also has a window which can be accessed by lift or stairs from close enough to the adventure playground outside, providing a cafe without having to pay entrance fees to the pool. I thought this was a particularly good feature.

My favourite place in town. Boasts a small gym and 4 pools. Yes you read that right! There is a hot water exercise pool, a program pool, a 25m lap pool all indoors. Then an outdoor Olympic pool. The hot water exercise pool is only available at certain times. The outdoor pool is not available in wild weather. I am looking forward to when the Cafe opens!
MESSY M — Google review
Great new complex, complete with kiosk. Plenty of space in the indoor pool area and a pool for every age group. The large pool is reportedly a bit cold but is the only option when swimming lessons take up the whole other pool. The kids play area is great and the children loved it. More family rooms would have been ideal. Even the old pool complex had two at the indoor pool area - it now only seems to have one - if there are more they are nowhere I could find them. This is a place for families so I would have expected better here to enable father's with young daughters to avoid dragging them into the men's room, mothers with multiple children to comfortably shower and dress, and parents to change babies. The service is good and swim teachers are competent and professional. The lifeguards they employ are great. The management are good. Facilities are clean. Entry fee was $6.50 May 2022 for me to take my son to a swimming lesson and my daughter for a swim without me getting in the pool. The pricing on the website is $3.50 for a concession and $5.50 for adult and $1 for spectators. I was charged adult rate for my 8 year old daughter to swim.

Courthouse
The Goulburn Court House, located on Montague Street in Goulburn, is a remarkable court building designed by James Barnet. Built between 1885 and 1887, it showcases the Victorian Free Classical architectural style. Constructed using a combination of brick and sandstone, its notable features include a striking copper dome and an attractive arched porch at the main entrance. These are complemented by loggias on either side.
Was too scared to go inside as it is a working court house. At any rate it is one of the most spectacular public buildings in Australia when viewed from outside and especially beautiful in autumn with the leaves in colour.
Riley K — Google review
Queen Victoria I reigns over the 1850s brick and the sandstone majestic remnant of our colonial days. The QVI carved into the stone balustrades at the front gate and the royal crown sitting atop the copper cupola. The building is a fantastic reminder of the once thriving NSW country and the challenging men and women who live in this region. If you get a chance visit during office hours for a look.

Been to Goulburn Court twice, and both times the experience was fair and professional. The officers are very friendly and respectful, and both judges I encountered were excellent—fair, patient, and understanding. A well-run courthouse overall.

5 stars. The funniest thing I have ever witnessed in my life happened here. The Honourable Robert Rabbiage opened the gates to hell on the most malicious individual I have ever met, Jessica Erith of Marulan. Like a death metal singer on steroids he unleashed a serve, not of this earth. Flames from his mouth, fire in his eyes and steam from his ears! The Truth, alas, was mine. A ray of sunlight entered the upper window and reated apon my head, a halo. And the swine, ah, retreat hoofed one.

Just so everyone knows, I am buying the Goulburn Court House and converting the building to luxury self-serviced apartments, which I plan listing on Airbnb. Was telling Gladys all about it when we had lunch the other day with Angus and Wendy. She said, "Totes cool Rum Baby, yeah nah don't worry about the paperwork. What are your thoughts on upgrading Goulburn TAFE into a stadium?" I replied, "Totes cool Gladys Baby, regional-based delivery of vocational education and training to meet local skills requirements is so 1890s." Angus said Goulburn needed to attract foreign investment by converting the hospital to a greyhound track with world class facilities like flushing toilets. Wendy disagreed. She thinks the hospital should remain, but something needs to be done about Goulburn's parking crisis. Someone suggested Victoria Park be renamed Car Park, but I can't remember who because we were all a bit sloshed TBH.

Goulburn Skate Park is a sprawling 1200 square meters of pure adrenaline, crafted from concrete and steel. This impressive facility features an array of elements including quarter pipes, bowls, grid blocks, rails, steps, and platforms that cater to skaters and scooter enthusiasts alike. Designed by the talented team at Convic alongside Dorfus, it stands out as a premier destination for thrill-seekers in the region.
Kids rated it very highly for both skate and scooter. Older style bowl section and brand new street area. Shaded seating.

New section is great with street and half pipe + spine, but the old bowl is rough and slow and has a slippery water course through it and needs to be upgraded

The cafe is known for serving generous country-style meals, making it a popular stop for travelers passing through the area.
Really great and delicious food. Service was great too. Portion of food was heavy too. Would visit again

Fantastic lunch with the charm and character one misses these days. Our server, of mature years, was delightful, helpful and efficient without being overly attentive. Our meals were generous and delicious. Loads of chicken in the salad and the pattie substantive. Looved the beetroot. The lunch special included a slice of cake and a drink. Everything was at the comfy booth in perfect time. All this at an incredibly reasonable price, even before the 10% cash discount. We'll be back 😀

I would highly recommend the Paragon Cafe! Staff are super friendly, the restaurant is beautiful and service is super fast. My order came in 5 minutes and my mums in about 10. Both our food was delicious and my chips came with my own bottle of tomato sauce. Which I loved! No more tiny little portions of tomato sauce.

We stumbled on this place during a one night stopover in Goulburn and boy are we glad we did! The service was friendly, the food was delicious with generous portions and I love booth dining! You can tell this place is an historical icon for a reason! Also for anyone searching for a proper old-school vanilla malt milkshake, this is your place! (So many cafes these days have never even heard of malt!). Good luck picking from the dessert menu too. I wanted one of everything. Whenever I am staying in Goulburn I won’t be eating anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Located on Auburn Street and McKell Place in Goulburn, the Goulburn Workers Club has undergone a clever renovation to resemble a wool store. The Brasserie at the club serves delicious food such as steak sandwiches and Caesar salads, while also employing individuals with disabilities. The staff is friendly, and the toilets are well-maintained.
Went there today and there was nothing wrong with my chicken snitz, but the winner was definitely the garlic prawns! I'll be ordering them next time for sure! Great amount of prawns and delicious garlic sauce. ☺️ We also both got a 3yr membership. We will definitely be back!

First off this is a must visit if you are coming through Goulburn! Myself and my co-worker stayed up in Goulburn for work for two weeks, and the service here at Goulburn Workers Club was superb. From the beautiful interior to the many spaces you can dine this place had it all. I would like to especially thank Deborah! For her amazing service to us and making us feel welcome and like a locals while we were there. To top it off the food was delicious and great prices. Also there was always something to do there during week nights as they held bingo, trivia, darts etc all week.

The meal was ok but the sauces tasted like they came out of a packet. How can you serve an expensive steak with a packet mix/caterers blend sauce????? A late 1900’s club used to serve that up, get with the times! Gravy masquerading as Diane Sauce…. disgusting and cheap and nasty

Steak on special but inedible. If you can’t cook it,or the meat is poor quality ,don’t serve it. I had spring rolls(2) for $16. Greasy, just minced pork and no flavour. Did not complain( other reviews show what appears to be an unacceptable attitude from staff) but took the remainder home for the dog. Waste of money.

Belmore Park is a charming city square located in Goulburn, with a rich history and modern amenities. Once a major service center for pastoral land, it now features landscaped grounds, shade trees, and a playground for children. The park's transformation from a marketplace to a picturesque public space is marked by the installation of the band rotunda in 1899.
A very well laid out park. Nice war memorials, beautiful old growth shade trees and great play equipment for the kids.

The park also has a lovely water fountain and a great playground for kids. A peaceful spot to relax and take in a bit of Goulburn’s history!

Awesome park. Well maintained and reminds me of most parks in Country towns and many city parks before the developera moved in the council's decides they couldn't be bothered maintaining them.

This photograph captures a beautiful, tranquil park setting, likely centered around a War Memorial. The statue, standing atop a dignified pedestal, is the clear focal point, surrounded by well-manicured garden beds and a low fence. The scene is dominated by the vibrant, lush green foliage of the large, mature trees that frame the memorial, providing a striking contrast to the bright blue sky dotted with soft white clouds. The intense colors suggest a clear, sunny day, making the stone of the memorial stand out beautifully. In the foreground, there are neat rows of freshly planted flowers, signifying care and respect for the grounds. Overall, the place exudes a sense of peace, history, and civic pride. It's a lovely spot for quiet contemplation and appreciation of the local heritage. Would you like me to focus on a particular element of the photo, like the memorial's design or the surrounding greenery, in a different style of description?

Bakery
Bryants Bakery Cafe in Goulburn is a historic and charming spot to enjoy some coffee, pastries, and pies. Situated in the oldest bakery in town, it offers a delightful alfresco setting where visitors can savor their famous pies while taking in views of the Victorian Italianate post office building across the street. With over fifty years of experience, Bryants Bakery is renowned for its delectable selection of pies, sausage rolls, cakes, tarts, and slices.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. I see some one else noted pies were overcooked, I tend to agree. The pastry was very hard though the filling was very nice. Most surprising was the size of the pies, for $5 they are very small. Saving grace was the caramel slice, with milk chocolate it was a knock out. So my tip go there for the cakes not the pies.

I needed an extra large and extra special Birthday cake for a function in Goulburn yesterday- we’re from Batemans Bay and the amazing Cheryl and staff at Bryant’s Bakery accepted the challenge over the phone! They went above and beyond to make an amazing chocolate mud cake with cream and names piped on top that I was able to collect at a time that fitted in with the busy weekend of soccer in Goulburn. I highly recommend Bryant’s Bakery’s for the amazing service and also the delicious food. Thank you

Huy T — Google review
Ruined our young man's 21st. We ordered a half slab chocolate sponge, with icing, a month in advance. Nothing complicated. Cost was over $100. It was our mother's contribution to the 21st and we were very clear and simple with instructions when ordering. The only change was a few days before the party where we asked specifically for the icing to be flat, not combed with a pattern. Picked it up on the day (Saturday) and got it home out of the rain only to find the sides had not been iced. Just icing on top. Then discovered it was a plain sponge, not chocolate, as ordered (we were clear about this - they said at the time "chocolate mud?". We said no, just chocolate sponge". Called to complain and the woman seemed empathetic, said she was really angry with the baker and that the front-of-house staff are the ones who always have to deal with angry customers when the baker does this kind of thing. She agreed a refund was more than fair. She could not find our original order - it had been thrown out by them. They said they would speak to the baker and get him to call us back as it was his "stuff-up". They tried to call back once that day but the party had already started. When the cake was brought out with candles lit, it was an embarrassment to the whole family and we had to explain to the guests that the bakery had neglected to ice the sides and that it was meant to be chocolate - the birthday boy's favourite. Our mother called Bryant's first thing Monday, asking for a refund for the cake. They had since found the original order in the bin and said that as we had not specifically ordered icing on the sides, our pensioner mother was not entitled to a refund and essentially said it was our own fault. Who would EVER have thought you would need to ASK for sides to be iced on a cake? Have you ever seen one NOT iced on the sides that has been "professionally" done? They advised they would speak to someone to see if something could be done but never got back in contact with our mother. How disgraceful that this local, "family" business would treat customers this way. A family that had supported them for decades. Ought to be ashamed of themselves. We will never spend a cent there ever again.

Despite some service hiccups like an unaccommodating barista and missed orders, the overall experience is positive with reasonable prices for food and great value buckets of beer.
Amazing place with so much on offer. Lots of fresh food options. We had a great chicken schnitzel and salad and the Greek pasticho with salad. Followed by really good coffee and a super delicious and creamy berry cheesecake. The place has such a great feel for fresh food with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables in displayed which are for sale and also the kitchen uses it as needed for juices, salads and more. It's been a good 10 years since I've eaten here. The place looks amazing and the prices for food are certainly reasonable. The buckets of beer are also great value and cheaper than what you'd pay at other places. Food tasted amazing, had the meatlovers medium pizza, which was a very generous serving 😋 👌. Missed out on 5 stars, unfortunately, as they failed to bring out the garlic bread that I ordered. 😕

I’m not a fan of food that comes to your table in plastic. The Bircher muesli was excellent, rich with yoghurt a strawberry and raspberry, nuts and oats. With a cup of English breakfast tea it’s a good way to kick off your day. The almond croissant was buttery and flakey. And check out Bella, a little robot that delivers the dishes to your table. A good spot when stopping by in Goulburn.

A unique gem in Goulburn: part cycle shop, part cafe, part fresh food grocer, part restaurant -- and all of it dished out with friendly service and good value. We enjoyed an excellent lunch of Pasticio (penne lasagna) and a chicken schnitzel -- absolutely delicious, gorgeously fresh, and massively portioned. Next time we visit we will definitely try the pizzas: they looked incredible. Thank you, Vicki and your entire team!

Nice big place. Great if you cycle with wash basins for you. Arrived there at 3:30pm after a stretch on the road. Can say the staff was pleasant and accomodating with the food we order. The coffee was ok but for sure the Barrista that day the dude needs an attitude fix. Suspect he was the owner as the kitchen was 1 minute closed and he asked the staff to try and sell us pizzas instead. Douche plus was not polite at all serving coffees. Have to give credit to the staff but not the douchebag owner.

St. Peter and Paul's Old Cathedral is an impressive structure with a rich history. While the exterior is stunning, some visitors were slightly disappointed by the interior, especially after visiting another spectacular cathedral. The atmosphere inside is serene and there seems to be a need for maintenance and restoration work. However, those fortunate enough to see it were captivated by its beauty, particularly the exquisite stained glass windows.

Playground
Goulburn Adventure Playground, located in Victoria Park, offers a wide range of activities for kids to enjoy. The playground features various play equipment suitable for both younger and older children. While the park lacks shade in some areas, it provides picnic tables, BBQ facilities, and ample space for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their kids. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the park and its accessibility during school holidays. Additionally, there are basketball courts available for those who want to engage in sports activities.
The Goulburn Adventure Playground is a must for any young family looking to break up the trip along the Hume between Sydney and Melbourne. New, well-kept, toilet and BBQ facilities, and plenty of options for the kids to enjoy.
Andrew D — Google review
Open playground with lots of space for picnicking and multiple shade structures for parents and adults to rest in without having to stand long under the sun. The toilets were also nearby. There are many play options but my nieces loved the zip line. There were provisions for two zip lines but only one was functional and with so many kids lined up, they were not able to play as often as they wanted. Nevertheless, we enjoyed some wonderful rest and play time with the other families in the playground. There is also an aquatic centre which we hope to explore during our next visit to the park.

This is a very large and beautiful park with plenty of street parking. The toilets were old but nice and close which was convenient. There are lots of defined spaces for younger and older kid with play equipment for each. There are a couple of shade sails but the majority of the park is exposed to the sun. There are some picnic tables and bbq facilities and lots of places for parents to sit to watch the kids.
Kim N — Google review
A fantastic park for the kids, heaps to do, easy to get to and always a pleasure to stop at. Even during School Holidays, whilst it was busy, it wasn't overly crowded at all. Goulburn Council seems to work very hard keeping this park clean for visitors. Hardly any graffiti seen. Could have done with some more rubbish 🗑 bins around.
Lewmish M — Google review
Great playground, picnic tables, flying fox and green open space. Basketball courts as well if you bring your ball 🏀 Pick up some lunch in town and let the kids to stretch their legs.
Steven B — Google review
A must stop with the kids, one of the best we have seen. Well thought out and an adventure. Kids had a ball.
Cathy C — Google review
Basically a great playground although not without its issues: not a lot of shade at present, although this will change as trees grow; a maze which is fun but means you inevitably lose your kids in it; and an inviting nautically themed climbing rig that small kids can get into but not out of, meaning every hour or so a parent has to go in there to rescue one.
Mark K — Google review
What an awesome playground. Just a fantastic place to stop to break up a long road trip, we’ll worth the detour

Performing arts theater
The Goulburn Performing Arts Centre is a vibrant hub for culture and creativity, showcasing an array of live performances that captivate audiences. Visitors can enjoy a variety of events, from theatrical productions to music concerts, all within its modern and well-designed space. The venue features comfortable seating and excellent sightlines, ensuring an immersive experience for everyone. Patrons appreciate the efficient intermissions that allow them to fully engage with the performances without lengthy breaks.
First visit to this updated venue and what a superb job they've done. Great reception and bar area then move to a brilliant theatre, great stage and seats well positioned. We went to see the 70s revival performance and apart from a couple of songs which we didn't know, it was an excellent performance especially as it ended with a song from Zeppelin and one from AC/DC extremely well done. Our only problem was that the temperature was on the cool side and I think we were a little close to the stage.... Get yourself there if you have an interest in one of the performances.

An absolutely amazing venue with a wide variety of entertainment options to suit all tastes.

GPAC has an awesome line-up of shows & theatre productions, while the theatre itself is a magnificent addition to Goulburn's visual & performing arts, & conference venues.

Had a wonderful time last night, I had been on a behind the scenes tour earlier this year but it was wonderful to actually sit in the crowd and enjoy a live performance. They have well set out seating, nice short intervals (as a non drinker and non smoker I really appreciate this as some plays I've been to took over 45 minutes in between with no costume or set changes), it's comfortable and surprisingly large, it's a very immersive experience. The building is so striking, I love the contrast of the modern and heritage architectural features. I like how they host a broad range of performances too including plays, comedians, dance performances, musicals and children's entertainment. I will definitely be attending again.

A great community-centred facility - but the booking process is not great, particularly if you want to change details. Changes can only be made by phone. I called ten times before I got through. They tried twice to make the change, but their system errored both times. I asked if I could cancel and refund, and book under new details. However, they said they cannot issue refunds. A morning of work - and the result is I eat the cost. I hope they read this and amend their process. Through all of the hassle, I appreciate the gentleman on the other end of the phone for trying.

We went to see 80 days around the world and this has to be one of the best theatrical performances I have seen. Cheers to all the artists!

What a fabulous success the Goulburn Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) has proved to be. Before this opened, I hoped that the finances poured into it would be worth it ...... and WOW !!!! The eclectic mix of shows, singers, bands, dancing, theatre - EVERYTHING, just blows my mind. We have been to several different genres of shows now and just love this great venue for so many types of entertainment. Well done Goulburn. Standing ovation !

The St. Clair Villa Museum and Archives is a charming establishment that houses local artifacts, photographs, and documents dating back to the 1800s. This small yet delightful gallery showcases the region's arts and crafts, with particular admiration for the exquisite patchwork displayed on their quilts. The friendly staff informed visitors that these masterpieces are generously donated by a group of artisans to help those in need—an admirable gesture.
Went on a tour it was great there is a ghost as well which adds to the old world historical displays and furniture

Such a shame this place was closed for maintenance when I was visiting Goulburn. Being from another St Clair in the world I would have loved to have seen St Clair Museum. Maybe next time. Please alert when open and the opening hours.

Good little gallery showcasing the local arts and crafts. Loved the amazing patchwork on the quilts displayed. The ladies there were very friendly and helpful and said the group of artisans donate the quilts for those in need which is wonderful.
