We went near the end of the season (December 15 - March 15) and the passes were covered in snow, making it very difficult to cover. We did the large loop hike from the entrance up to the top, and it was a great hike! The ranger station said this is about 14 kms, but our tracjer placed it closer to 17 kms, so plan for a,big, long steep hike over the whole day. It was uncomfortably windy at the top, but the views and landscape was spectacular and worth it!
