Worth a visit just for the view. However there was little information to give you much history and you could complete a walk around in about 5 minutes. Nice spot though at sunset. Entry is cheap.

Unfortunately, the main church is under reconstruction. Only the small one is open for a visit. Nevertheless, it is beautiful and peaceful area to walk around and relax.

This is a beautiful place with commanding views across the bay. It's an easy walk up from the coast and worth the effort. The main chapel is undergoing a major restoration so access is not permitted but the doors were open allowing you to see in. There are great views of the church and the bay from the steeply tiered Graveyard. Glad we made the journey.

Absolutely stunning - we had a bit of a walk to the place from the winery but glad that we took the stairs down because like many Orthodox monasteries, this one is very well adorned. Additionally, they have a nice shop on-site with icons, wine, etc., so please do go and support them in that way. My quite a five star experience because the church was undergoing refurbishment and we could not do much but it is a very peaceful property and I was happy to see it.

The Old Town has been occupied by the Ottomans, the Albanians and the Venetians so the architecture is eclectic if not slightly bizarre. The 16 meter, Ottoman-esque clock tower is definitely one of the more bizarre additions added here on what was the main gate during Turkish rule. Regardless, it's a cool thing to see as many come to do, and well worth the steep walk up the many steps from the beach. Both sides of the clock tower, both inside the city walls and outside (Nikola Djurkovic Square) have many cafes and restaurants.

This is one of the most beautiful central places of the old town - a meeting place :) The perfect time for photos without people and tourists is 6/7am

My partner and I had the most incredible day with Nebojša on his boat tour of the Bay of Kotor. To put it simply, the day was unreal. The speedboat itself was fantastic – fast, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, making the journey between spots an absolute pleasure. ​What truly set this trip apart was Nebojša himself. We were blown away by his deep knowledge of the bay's history. He brought the stories of the charming villages and islands to life, which added a rich layer to the stunning scenery. It was like having a private historian and a skilled skipper in one! ​We visited several incredible spots, including the hauntingly beautiful Mamula island, but for us, the absolute highlight was visiting the sea cave. The experience of swimming in that brilliantly blue water was pure magic and the most fun we had. ​If you are thinking of a boat trip in Kotor, look no further. We cannot recommend Nebojša's tour enough. It was a perfect day, and we already want to go back. Our highest recommendations!!!

Absolutely fantastic experience! The wakeboarding was thrilling and well-managed, thanks to an amazing skipper who made everything smooth and enjoyable. The crew was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, which really added to the overall fun. The scenery was gorgeous. Truly amazing experience, Pistre (Nebojsa) was very professional in guiding us and showing the area. Boat ride was so much thrilling, it's not genuine Bayliner 🙃 but that's why it has a toilet in the back, ha!!!

The Church of the Holy Archangel Michael, in the Old Town, on the Hereceg Stephan Square, built in the shape of an inscribed cross, with equal arms, built with finely carved blocks of Krčula stone, and according to the design of the architect Milan Karlovac. Nice place to have a meal , a cup of coffee or just some refreshment and watching daylilfe passing by. Many people visit the Serbian orthodox church that is on this square.

Beautiful old town, just to look around and have a good time. I would love to have more vivid music or more people, it feels a little bit lonely, but in general you will find some options to eat, drink and have a good time.

With breathtaking views of the village and surrounding area this is a must vist. The steps are quite steep in places and there is very limited disabled access. But well worth the effort.

We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Savina Winery, and what a truly wonderful experience it was. While it's a very small, local winery, and the tour itself isn't extensive, the overall experience more than makes up for it. The setting is incredibly peaceful, offering a serene escape. We booked an evening slot, and it was simply magical to sit and gaze out over the bay, watching the sunset unfold. There was no rush at all; we were encouraged to relax and truly soak in the breathtaking views. The value for money here is exceptional. For a very reasonable price, the experience includes a grazing board, three different full size portion of their rose, white and red wine to sample, and a local spirit. The wines were so tasty, in fact, that we even made an effort to hunt down one of them on a different night because we enjoyed it so much! The staff at Savina Winery are truly lovely. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome, adding significantly to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It's clear they are passionate about their wines and their guests' experience. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and authentic local experience with delicious wines and a stunning sunset view, Savina Winery is an absolute must-do.

Absolutely magnificent in every single way - picturesque location, excellent staff and pristine views of the Bay of Kotor. I am slightly sad we could not take the tour - you have to book this ahead of time - but the staff did their best to make us feel welcome and make recommendations for tasting. I want to put out a special mention to the people working there because one of the children in our party had hurt their leg but the way they distracted him and applied a bandage was so sweet and turned the day around. Do not expect a full meal by any means but the combinations of wine and cheese are beautifully created and the owners deserve a lot of credit for what they have done.

Savina Winery, Herceg Novi, Montenegro: This was our only vineyard visit on our epic Turkey-Montenegro-Croatia-Albania-Macedonia trip, a stark contrast to our usual repertoire of multi-vineyard stops. Award-winning Savina Castel label is family-owned and pedigree too – no exports, only domestic market consumption. So if you love this and don’t live here, you’re screwed. The winery was the golden highlight of our Montenegrin chapter. Giving the tour a miss (we’ve done plenty), we just wanted to sit, stare out into the impossible blue of the sea and take in the astounding panorama. We had the bubbly and talented Paula serving us and engaging us in interesting chats and delivering superb service. There were 3 serves for the basic tier, plus a platter of sorts. While most vineyards work you from crap to premium wine, all 3 were solid. Bottle labels are basic too but the tastes punch quite a shocking palatable punch – chadonnay and cab sauv are not your old-world types. It clearly snubs traditions and carves out a modern note – about time vineyards adapt and evolve, given the downward drinking trend driven by Gen Z in search of experiences. The surrounds are incredible, olive trees abound, and the rattan stylish furnishings and elegant touches create a summer exquisite experience. I’ve never been on such an elevated plane for wine tasting, greeting the expanse of tantalizing blue sea. While vineyard visits converge in offerings, Savina stands out and ticks all the right boxes. #eatstylishtravelstylish

We were staying down the road at Lazure Hotel, they booked the tour for us and advised us getting a taxi as although a short walk it was very steep but ok to walk back down. We opted for late afternoon so we could go into the old town afterwards and we were the only ones there. The panoramic views were breathtaking! The service was excellent, the wine was delicious. It was quite expensive i suppose but for us worth every penny 🍷❤️

A great waterfront restaurant serving traditional cuisine, with a wide selection of seafood and fish. Generous portions and delicious dishes, we tried the fish pate and grilled calamari. Beautiful terrace with a view. In high season, it’s better to book a table as the place is very popular. But a tip, check your bill before paying. Once we had a dish added that we didn’t order, but mistakes happen. After notifying the staff, they removed it from the bill without any problem.

This area has lot of restaurants around. We decided to eat here and was extremely delighted with the meal and service. You can choose to sit outside and watch the world go by, or inside in a cozy setting. We had the octopus carpaccio with the sweetest tomatoes. For mains we had the mixed fish skewers. The spinach potato that came with it and carrots were really yummy. And the seafood risotto which was a huge portion. The staff were very friendly as well and made us feel very much at home. Definitely worth a visit!

A wonderful tavern with a sea view. All the food we had was delicious. I especially loved the Caesar salad (yes, it includes bacon, welcome to the Balkans), for which I returned there for a second time. The veal soup was also excellent.

We came here for my brother's birthday dinner. The drinks were great, we had red and white wine the waiter recommended, a local beer and an aperol spritz. For starters, we shared shopska salads and a Greek salad. Shopska salad was a bit underwhelming as it only had tomato and cheese, but the Greek salad tasted very good. For main dishes, we had a seafood spaghetti, a seafood risotto, chicken with peanuts, and a beefstake in mushroom sauce. The nuts were a bit weird with the chicken, but otherwise, everything tasted amazing. The portion sizes were huge though; we wouldn't have needed the starters to feel full. Our server was wonderful and asked us about the Finnish language and coversed with us. If you have a pet allergy, I wouldn't recommend the place since the bosses dog sleeps under the tables and a cat wonders around there as well.

It is one of the most contradictory places in Herceg. Not all the food we tried was excellent (but breakfast was). I recommend visiting for the stunning panoramic sea view from the terrace and balcony, which truly deserves your attention.

Gradska kafana was one of first places my mom took me when I was little. I visited many times during my childhood and adulthood. I can say that they kept level of quality, food, service, everything over the years, and that's rare. One of my favourite places on Montenegro coast. Beautiful terrace with sea view.

Operation: Gradska Kafana The rain had just stopped when the message came — a smudged set of coordinates, pressed into my palm by a stranger in the shadow of a crumbling wall. “You’ll know it when you see it,” they murmured, disappearing into the maze of crowds of Herceg Novi. The hill rose like a quiet dare, every step stealing more air than the last. The sun peeked out—opening a little more with each turn—winding past the hum of open-air markets, sun-baked beachgoers, and the salt-snap of Adriatic air. Heat shimmered off the ground, and the city unfolded above me in fragments until I reached the restaurant that deserved every bit of the spotlight it found itself in. There it was. Gradska Kafana. At the doorway, exactly as promised, a beautiful couple frozen in a perfect frame, the sea glinting behind them like a polished secret. Inside, the terrace hummed with the low murmur of patrons from everywhere and nowhere — eyes glancing, conversations dipped in foreign tongues. Were they watching me, or was I watching them? A bright blue-eyed waiter Mitskevich appeared, his smile equal parts welcome and riddle. He slid the menu into my hands. The medallion steak stood out like a cipher hidden in plain sight. I accepted the mission and he nodded. The first cut — tender, rich, and seared to perfection — unlocked something deep in my chest. The roasted vegetables carried the earth’s warmth; the bread, still breathing steam, melted into memory. Cool mineral water slid down like a tide returning to shore, bringing with it the taste of salt and stone. The view before me — the Adriatic stretching into forever — became the final piece of the puzzle. This was no ordinary meal. This was the blueprint, the energy, the anchor I needed to continue. When I left Gradska Kafana, I carried more than a full stomach. I carried a quiet certainty that the world could still be saved—though only with meals like this.

Good for a lunch and dinner, nice view, they are quite fast with bringing food and drinks, recepit aswell. Food is good, nothing special, waiter is not really dedicated to you the whole time (pouring the water for you, asking if anything is missing, etc.), most of the times he is chatting with other (5-6) waitres.

If you want something out of ordinary, this is the place to have a dinner at. Beautiful interior and breath taking view. The food is fantastic and so aswell the service. We had domestic wite wine from Vinery Savina. Five stars on that one!!! In my opinion the only thing that brings it down from five stars is that they don't have domestic coffe "domaća kafa" which is a bit strange because they have fantastic domestic brandy, which goes perfectly with a Domaća kafa. Highely recommended!

About a mile from seafront if herceg novi is this fortress a walk uphill. Its free to enter and walk around walls and a few buildings within it. Offers food views of town etc. Very quiet when visiting only a handful of visitors.

Very cool as a contrast to the other forts in Herceg Novi. Nature has claimed back the fort and there's almost no signage around the place other than a board by the front gate. At first, I wondered why the place looked so scruffy, but as I walked, explored and climbed around the fort, I came to appreciate it for being so unkept. It's a fort that's fallen out of use and has not been set up and prepared to receive tourists (not in a big way at least) and it's worth a visit for this reason and for the view from the walls over the bay. It was free to enter and I only saw one other person while there.

Possibly the best view of the entrance to Kotor bay. I can clearly see the strategic importance of this spot. It is a very impressive place but the sad thing is that it is severely neglected and therefore not very friendly for visitors. Surely, you can freely walk around, but some parts of the fortress are in such bad condition that you must think about safety before you examine every corner of it. The interesting thing is that the fortress is built by the Turks and as far as I know the actual Spanish fortress was on the same spot during their very short rule of the city but the Turks built a brand new fortress on the foundations of the Spanish fortress. I'm rating this place high only because of the wonderful view and I hope that some restorations will take place in the near future.

It's a little bit of a challenge to get there on foot - hikers will love it. The fortress itself is in a decent condition, and the views from the towers are magnificent.

Entrance is free. Good views of the Bay of Kotor, Herceg Novi and the mountains. I recommend walking around there with closed shoes. What is interesting about the fort is that there are various buildings inside it that are quite well preserved. I definitely recommend walking around there a bit.

Perfect for the exploring tourist. Away from all the crowds with a great walk past all the gardens from the road. Easy to explore this abandoned fortress and be relatively undisturbed by other tourists (and no entrance fee). Great views across the bay and out to the Adriatic. When standing at the top of the side closest to Bay you get a great view of Tito's abandoned villa in the neighboring town Igalo.

That's the centre of Herceg Novi. I think it's worth to visit this town but it can't compete with Perast or Kotor. But I liked sitting don at the Gradska Kavana with a view of Kotor Bay. The old town is nice but it doesn't have this kind of attraction to me as other places in the bay of Kotor. Still I recommend to go there, you won't regret it!

I enjoyed myself and my meal here. My waiter was relaxed, attentive and humorous. He suggested the fish as it was fresh and delivered earlier in the morning and his suggestion turned out to be perfect. Fresh, crispy on the outside and flavorful on the insides. The local red wine was yummy and the limoncello spritz perfect on a hot and humid day!

We heard good things about the roadside joint and wanted to try it but instead went to the sit-down restaurant because we had children with us. The first thing was that the staff were fantastic - two young guys and they were so welcoming to all of us and put together a few tables so that we could sit together. After that, we ordered some delicious food and the portions were absolutely huge. We all struggled and let us say we had to take a lot home! Long story short, it was a great meal at an incredible price and highly recommended for anyone visiting Herceg Novi.

A friend recommended this place to us, and it turned out to be a fantastic tip! The service was excellent, the food absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere warm and cozy. We especially recommend trying the Hobotnica iz pod sača (stewed octopus) – it was simply amazing!

Service is great. The ambiance is nice. As for food, our group was happy with their cevapcicis and pljeskavica. The black risotto was good but rice was too al dente. And the octopus was also good but it was fried instead of grilled. Tamjanika was the best wine choice for the sea food dishes. In average, a good experience by Skver.

Attractive ambient, fantastic grilled shrimps, excellent house white for a reasonable price, and a super friendly service by Dalibor, what else does one want! Strong recommendation!

This was amazing. We passed this place on our way down from the old down to fort marine and saw a lot of locals line up for a pljeskavica. We didn’t think it was a dine-in restaurant, but rather a hidden gem so we marked it down to come back to on our way back. We then discovered that this was a full-blown restaurant with a really cozy atmosphere. The food and drinks were all amazing, the service was really thoughtful and surprisingly quick! We tasted the pljeskavica and the fresh catch of the day and both were absolutely amazing. Size of an adult man’s fist for scale - come hungry!

The service was great but we were are not that impressed with the food. Fish needed salt and pepper to give it some taste. The squid and shrimps were ok but not fantastic.

It’s a very cute a small city center, the little church in the middle of the main square is a picturesque view. Maps are scattered all around and help you navigate, very nice touch. The only thing I did not like was the state in which the fortresses are kept, I would have expected more since they’re candidates to enter the UNESCO sites list. The parking is really difficult, since the only way to pay is through SMS, very difficult with an eSIM that only has internet (App was not working).

Visited this town a couple of times. A coastal historic town with a beautiful small church up hillside. Spanish Fort further up plus another Fort near to coast. A walkway goes under a clock tower leading to nice plaza area. Good restaurants and bars within this town. If walk out of town going pass coastal Fort after 1 km arrive at another church set in peaceful grounds.

Vibe is truly impressive, it feels like a little Italy. Surrounding, architecture are great. There are several pizzerias in front of the Clock Tower and if you walk down narrow street behind the square you will be passing by clothes shops and a mini market Voli

Very quaint place. There are a couple of places to drink and eat in the main square. There's also a very small church in the square. I recommend Belavista. Less than €4 for a pint of Czech beer.

Charming old city square, it is very small and that gives it special taste. In tourist periods must be crowded and may be even difficult to move around because of that.

The food was satisfying and enjoyable. However the serving speed was extremely slow, and we waited for a long time to eat our food (approximately 40 minutes). The view was also beautiful and peaceful. I guess everyone might have different experiences. The menu is rich and okay priced.

Konoba Škver is located at the best spot in town - on the curb of the town port, next to the waterpolo club & stadium. Dining at the port, watching in front of me moored boats at sunset is just priceless, an experience I can never get enough of. This traditional restaurant serves variety of local traditional dishes, most of which seafood specialties prepared from fresh seafood & fish delivered directly to the restaurant by local fishermen. Very friendly, yet professional service, without much waiting to get served. I was served expertly by smiling, polite Nikola Vuković, who was very patient to answer all my questions about the menu and recommend dishes! Portions just right, food arrived piping hot. The restaurant opens at noon and closes at midnight. However, the kitchen closes at 23:00 This place is open throughout the year.

In my opinion, the place is overrated. While the food is good, it isn't exceptional. The prices are on par with those of much more comfortable places in the city. Škver is crowded, the tables are uncomfortably arranged, and overall, it is not a pleasant place to spend time.

We were looking for a fish restaurant and locals recommended Konoba Škver. Located right on the waterfront in Herceg Novi, the atmosphere was relaxed and authentic, and we were looked after by Slavko, a classic old-school Yugoslav-style waiter; professional, no-nonsense, with the perfect touch of charm. We wanted fish for our main course and Slavko brought out a platter of freshly caught fish for us to choose from, which emphasised the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Everything was simply prepared and full of flavour, letting the food speak for itself. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting a real taste of the Adriatic, both in terms of food and hospitality. Highly recommended if you're after an authentic local experience.

The iced latte here and the croissants/cakes were all amazing! So refreshing on a hot day. The staff are also nice. Restroom for customers.

I'm so glad I discovered this coffee bar on my last day in herceg Novi. The coffee served here was certainly the best I've tasted since travelling around Montenegro. Great food, great friendly service, and of course great views. 5/5 for everything. Go check them out.

This is the main restaurant at the Lazure Hotel. It is set next to a small and exclusive marina. The setting and design are beautiful. The waiting staff were really great and spoke excellent English. The food was delicious and fairly reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend even if not staying at the hotel. Booking should be considered in the peak season but as we were there beginning of September there was no need for reservations.

Rosemarine absolutely blew us away. The food was stunning: we had the salmon crudo, the ravioli doppio, the sea bass papillon, and the lamb shoulder, and everything was a perfect 10/10. If the Michelin Guide came to Herceg Novi, Rosemarine would have a star! The setting itself is beautiful - the Lazure hotel is one of the most incredible hotels I’ve been inside of, and it clearly is the standout in this part of Montenegro. There are historical artifacts all around you. Finally, the service was top-notch. Our waiter, Uroš, was among the best waiters I've ever had – and my father agreed! He’s actually the manager, but waits tables because he enjoys it, and it shows. This was such an amazing evening, and one that will live long in the memory. Thank you!!!

We entered the place in the afternoon, on the way to the old town. Had spicy Wings and country style potatoes which were tasty. Also had tonic water and local POLACO IPA beer which was very cold and very fresh. The service was friendly, although it took a lot of time (well more than 20 minutes) for the food to arrive.

We stopped for a drink, as a big ale / beer fan it was good to see lots on offer in both draught and bottles (also non alcoholic) the chap behind the bar was very friendly and helpful - the bar itself was really cool and the outside bit had fantastic views. The only downside was a plastic cup if you were outside but I understand why if the bar is governed by local laws or policies, always best to drink a pint out of a nice cold glass though. Very cool bar, would recommend a visit.

Wonderful café located on a small lovely street in the old town, the most beautiful part of the city. The atmosphere is lovely, we enjoyed some local beer and coffee - although not the best specialty coffee, I loved the whole experience, as this may be the most beautiful café in the area.

Really wasn’t as blown away by this place as I expected. It didn’t seem like anything special which was disappointing! I ordered an oat flat white and a lemon cake, and my partner an iced tea and a cheese toasted sandwich. I liked my coffee, but it was much more bitter than I expected for specialty. The lemon cake was absolutely amazing though! My partner’s iced tea was incredibly sweet, and his toasted sandwich “fine”. They then didn’t have a toilet available which was a little frustrating!

After 2 weeks in Montenegro we didn’t find hardly any good coffee but this is hands down the best (we even took an hour 30 min drive to drink their coffee in Podgorica). If you are serious about your coffee it’s definitely worth a visit, also very good lemon cake and all at a good price.

Best specialty coffee in town! Herceg Novi is lucky to have such a place. Also it is located in a beautiful spot and has a very photogenic interior😍 We were happy to discover Koffein on the first day of our trip and had no trouble searching our “dose of happiness” on the following days as well 🫶🏼

I had a wonderful experience at this café! The owner personally roasts the coffee, and they offer a great variety of beans from places like Brazil and Ethiopia. The flavor was rich and well-balanced — you can really taste the quality. The service was excellent, and the owner is very friendly and clearly passionate about coffee. It’s a cozy spot that I’d definitely recommend to any coffee lover.

Came here this morning for a coffee before leaving the city. I had a cold brew, and my partner had a raspberry iced tea (they also had mint available!). I really liked my coffee, and it was served to me in a bottle with a glass with ice. This meant that I could drink as much or as little as I wanted and I ended up taking part of it away when I was caffeinated enough! The raspberry iced tea was also delicious! The member of staff was friendly and helpful and the order was taken quickly. I really liked this place, definitely the best coffee shop I found in Herceg Novi!

Best cacao latte in Herceg Novi! My mom and me went for a hot beverage, she got cappuccino (and she loved it) and I tried cacao latte with oat milk. It was exquisite! Just organic cacao powder with a bit of warm water and warm milk. No added sugars or additives. Mr. Rade that made the drink was polite and professional. Huge recommendation!

I am thrilled with this place. It was created by a very nice man who is always in the coffee shop, helping with choices, keeping the conversation going and providing wonderful service. There are fish and lots of greens, berries . I found there a dill rarely wich in Montenegro.

Today I bought cherries from the old lady selling at the market(first when you enter). They tasted like lemon — I couldn't imagine cherries could be so sour. It felt like a scam for tourists; they sell the worst ones to us.

Small local market. I could buy living plants (fig tree), too and njegusco local famous ham, delicious!

Great outside market where you can buy local produce, fish, fruit, wine, olive oil; just about anything you need or want.

Music is too loud, anoying and awfully picked. The kind of music they are playing does not fit the place. The beach misses much more ladders for entering and exiting the sea than it is provided. Changing booths should be washed off every morning because during the night people come and urinate in them. For beach visitors, hotel should provide a toilet at a certain spot.

Called in for pizza and a drink. Pizza was delicious, freshly made dough, fresh ingredients, my partner isn’t a great pizza fan but really loved this. The waitress who served us was lovely, as we passed by the restaurant during our holiday the she acknowledged us, remembering our visit and saying hello.

5 Stars – A Waterfront Gem! I had a wonderful experience at Peter’s Pie and Coffee in Herceg Novi! The staff were super helpful and friendly—and spoke English, which made things easy. I enjoyed a delicious slice of pie and a great cup of coffee while sitting right on the waterfront. The outdoor seating is limited, but I was lucky to get a table. There are also a couple of seats inside, along with a clean restroom. The vibe is relaxed, the Wi-Fi is free, and the offerings are absolutely delicious. Vegetarian & vegan cafeteria Peters Pie & Coffee is one of my favourite coffee places on the Pet Danica seaside promenade (Šetalište) between Igalo & Topla neighbourhoods in Herceg Novi. And not least for the dreamy sea view and direct view of Villa Sofia, perched proudly on Ilino hill un the middle of Žvinje village. The atmosphere in this cafe is so inviting, warm and incredibly calm that I often stop here to contemplate while watching the world go by. This cafeteria garden tables spread along the promenade, each table with a sea view. Unlike many other places, Peters coffee is open throughout the year. Freshly baked vegan muffins daily as well as mushroom, pumpkin & spinach pies. Scrumptious salads, omelets & sandwiches pair nicely with cold pressed veggie juices or Chinese leaf tea. Three types of sourdough bread available to order, including gluten & wheat free option. Although you will need to order one day ahead and collect the following morning around 9am. Variety of organic leaf tea from the mountain Durmitor pairs perfectly with the pear & Gorgonzola cheese bun.

Great location next to the water along a busy pathway. The service was quick and the Baileys cheesecake was lovely. The only thing I'd say was that we asked for an extra hot cappuccino but it only arrived warm. It was good coffee though. The waiter serving us was really pleasant and it's quite a busy little spot.

This is a cute little cafe. I arrived after breakfast hours (breakfast ends at 12). I sat in a shaded table and ordered a cappuccino. I asked for recommendations on the quiche and ended up getting a pumpkin piece. It came with some veggies and sour cream. It was fast as well. All fresh and home made. The coffee was fantastic and the food was pretty good. I also found out they sell sourdough bread, you just need to order a day ahead of time. The bread was amazing! It was not cheap, at €5 but worth it. If you ask nicely, they will even cut it for you. I'll definitely be back

Definitely some of the nicest coffee I had in Montenegro. I'd love to see a lighter roast though. The "premium" option tastes very darkly roasted mostly tastes of the roast with little of the characteristics of the actual coffee. Still it seemed to be well extracted and balanced espresso

We had with the 5 of us 2 fantastic diners. The location on the peer is superb! The scenery cannot be improved. We were a little annoyed by the mixed music from different places. The food was very nice, so good we wanted to go back a second time. We very much appreciated the meet&greet with the owner, Alexandra, who took the time to not only find out our impressions of the restaurant , she was also interested in our story. We also very much appreciated the service by Vladimir, who 3 days after our first visit still 100% correctly remembered our meals and drinks. Impressive. A strong recommendation from the Grégoir family from Belgium!

Our experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. Even though we clearly mentioned that we were in a hurry, we ended up waiting almost two hours for the main course, which is simply unacceptable. We had ordered it at the same time as the starter. The starter was decent and of acceptable quality, but the main dish, which arrived very late, was extremely poor – lacking flavor and far below expectations, especially for a place that promotes itself as offering quality cuisine. The waitress was polite and tried her best, but that wasn’t enough to make up for the overall negative experience. I wouldn’t return or recommend this restaurant.

First time eating octopus, and it was excellent and delicious and tasty, the atmosphere was so quiet with beautiful views, the location is comfortable and view are perfect, pļjeskavicka was tasty, soft delicious. And at the end I decided to eat tiramisu, this was the best tiramisu I’ve ever eaten in my life I LOVE IT

Overall a disappointing seafood restaurant experience I’m sorry to say. We had high hopes from reading online reviews and seeing online recommendations but it didn’t live upto expectations. King Prawn starter which we shared wasn’t served piping hot but lukewarm warm at best. My wife’s bbq seafood skewer was fresh and tasted good although appeared to be served with frozen potato wedges not fresh. My John Dory main came with cold polenta, they offered to provide some hot polenta but I declined and just ate the fish which was ok. Restaurant decor is also very dark and dated. People with tables outside overlooking the sea may have a different experience.

I visited this restaurant twice with my parents, and both times were excellent! On our first visit, our waiter Jovan recommended trying shark, swordfish, and tuna. The dishes were fantastic — especially the shark. None of us had ever tried it before, and we were all impressed by how delicious it was. On the second day, we couldn’t resist ordering shark again, this time with swordfish, and once again it was outstanding. I also tried lobster for the first time — it was very tasty and turned into another great new experience for us. Jovan was an excellent waiter: attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations really made our meals special. Overall, both visits were memorable, and I’d happily recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh seafood and great service!

Very nice restaurant, at the sea shore. They have great food, especially sea food. Daily fresh fish was extraordinary. Wine selection is very good, there are many local Montenegrin wines. Staff is very polie and helpful, they give great recomendations.

Not recommended. Used to be a great place. Prices and portion sizes were fair. Now the menu says 500 grams of mussels. But they obviously bring significantly less. Beer at 0.3 volumes costs like 0.5. Pleskavitsa is average, used to be much better. The bread they brought was clearly not fresh. Avoid this place. There are much better options around.

We were recommended this place due to its authentic and warm atmosphere. However our experience was very underwhelming. Olives came straight from a jar and were labelled as authentic, domestic olives - they tasted rather off. Half of the menu was blocked out and we were unable to order what we wanted. The wine tasted like vinegar and like it had been sat opened for a very long time. The meat I had tasted as if it was frozen. Pastas were very bland. Food was very very overpriced for what it was - was very excited to get some nice authentic food but unfortunately we had to pay a big bill for some bad food .

Beautifully located restaurant. Nice and polite server who informed us of the allergens and gluten-free options. We had stuffed calamari and ćevapi. Big portions and low prices. Plus you have a view at the entrance of the old town. I highly recommend and would come back, if we weren’t in Herceg Novi only for one day!

I don't want nor like to bring down a place based on 1 night only, but also that 1 night will decide whether you'll have a second one or not.... It wasn't the greatest dining experience we had during our sailing week in the area. For such a location, service and food should be better than normal. Maybe the chef was new, or experiencing new ways of cooking, maybe the waiters were tired at the end of the day...

I recommend visiting this place. Not because of the food (it's pretty average) or the restaurant itself (it looks outdated and a bit too fancy at the same time), but because of the stunning views of the sea and the town. Great Restaurant with fantastic view over the bay with the mountains, the old town and the castle. The food here is very good and it comes with a normal price tag. They serve fresh fish which is on display at the entrance. The two waithers are the best, always friendly and helpfull even when the place is full. We give them an extra thumbs Up!

Bife Beograd have had the best burger I've ever had on this month of traveling! The BB burger came with crispy bacon and a semi runny egg, the burger patty was cooked to perfection, the waiter even asked us how we wanted the patty cooked beforehand. I got to taste the sandwich with prosciutto as well, it was well balanced with salt savory and sweet! All of the other members of my family also really likee their meals. The waiters showed a good understanding of English, and they were very nice and pretty funny if the opening allowed it. I would also recommend the drink blue frog, it was delicious. And these are the reasons that I'll give them a 5/5 across the board 👍

We went here 3 times and the service and the food quality was aleays really nice. It's busier than the rest of the places (with both locals and tourists), which is always a good sign. The fish soup was really good. It's a lil bit more expensive than an average place in Herceg-Novi, but at least you won't be disappointed with the service and food

The waiter assured me the beef came with baked potato. He served me French fries. Then when I commented he tried to convince me that the French fries were baked potato. He was not interested in checking with the kitchen either. Embarrassing for a highly rated restaurant with ‘bife’ in the name? 🤨

I love visiting this museum. I come here whenever I can. It is a small treasure chest of artefacts. The view is magnificent, too.

What a gem, the staff were just amazing as was all the history.

Interesting museum with expositions ranging from history of the country to traditional costumes, music instruments and tools. It’s impressive that the rooms of the former family who lived there are preserved and you can feel a touch of old times. The absence of signs “Don’t touch” were also a pleasant surprise. Outside is a nice garden with a lonely lovely bench overlooking the bay. We visited it for free in the Museum day but I’d gladly pay 3€ for it.

I don’t recommend the museum except that there are no toilets there, and you can’t take pictures, they charge 3 euros each, besides all this, they also work there and I have never seen such an attitude towards visitors in any country in the world!

There's a surprising amount to see in here from various periods of history, and you'll learn a lot about the town and the area. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and speak enough English to explain things to non-native speakers :)

Lovely house of the Nobel Prize Ivo Andrić. He lived in this house with his wife a couple of year.

Beautiful little museum- an actual house where Ivo Andric lived with his wife Milica Babić for several years. Very welcoming museum curator, a kind lady told us a short story about the history of the house. Lovely 30 minutes to spend there. Entrance is 4 euro and there is no parking, so you need to park your car in a garage down the street 100m. Beautiful place to visit!

I loved this little museum, it's small but cosy! The woman on the reception is very helpful and friendly. The only downside for non-serbian speaking folks is that everything is written in serbian cyrilic...so since you have a lot to read inside, I guess for tourists it's not really enjoyable. Entry is 4 euros, and the view is great! 😊

St Jerome Church / Church of St. Leopold Mandić sits in the pretty and quiet St. Jeronim Square. It isn't a particularly remarkable church in terms of architecture. It was locked when I went so couldn't go inside. 'Viewpoint of Herceg Novi' is right here also. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this church but since the Old Town of Herceg Novi is small, nothing is really 'out of the way'.

It's a simple enough church, but the plaza surrounding it is usually quite peaceful, as often tourists don't wander back this far. Sometimes you can hear musicians practicing at the music school next door. There's an overlook across from the church that provides an amazing overlook over the town.

This is beautiful and quiet place, at 7am you can hear a beautiful and long ringing from the chapel. Love it!

Seems like a good place but it isn't. There is a sewage pipe coming out (photo) some black and white stuff. Toilets are a mess... But there is a cold shower and changing rooms. The restaurant is good.

While researching before my visit, I came across some complaints about noise from other visitors. However, I personally didn't find it to be a significant issue. If you're someone who craves tranquility and absolute silence, I would recommend considering a vacation in the wilderness. However, if you're looking for a friendly and vibrant beach destination, this place will meet your expectations and provide a memorable experience.

I am convinced that all the reviews with more than 1 star are from the owner’s family because I don’t know how a person with a common sense could possibly rate it higher (unless you like being pepper sprayed on nights out, then I guess whatever makes you happy). Also for quite a touristy place, the staff could learn at least 3 words in English and not ignore everyone who doesn’t speak Montenegrin. Avoid at all costs.

Another noise complaint… This place, single-handedly, obliterates the vibe of every other bar, restaurant, and hotel in HN/Igalo. The music is ridiculously loud and drowns out any other music for hundreds of metres around, from mid-afternoon until the early hours. To add further insult, they send a boat with loud speakers up and down the coast during the day promoting the club. We were so excited to experience Montenegro and this place really took the shine off our holiday.

Terrible place! I think the whole Igalo, Topla and all the surroundings want to burn it down! Music screams every day from 22 to 01 at night, nothing saves from this! And is it a tranquil resort for a quiet getaway? Stop noise pollution!

The locals are experiencing headaches due to the noise until 3am every night. Rocky beach but dirty, I was not a fan of it due to the garbage you can find at the beginning of the beach. You can rent an umbrella or lay in the rocks, just a place to get a shower.

The beach is clean and the staff is great. I come here every year and I must say, it isn’t always like that. Its the beginning of the season and there is not a lot of people so it’s easier to handle right now. The prices are higher than in other similar beach bars.

Luka Skver is located in walking zone between Herceg Novi and Igalo, this is pier for the smaller and bigger boats also Water polo court is also located at the same area. Whole area is mixed with old and new style surrounded with local restaurant's and caffe bars, whole area is good to be visited during the night as well as the day time, also few beaches are around.

Fantastic tour, don't let 7km of kayaking put you off, waters were calm, and the kayaking was quite easy. Ljubo was a great guide with some great knowledge of the area. Submarine shelter was fascinating. I never felt like we were in a rush. Stopped for an espresso in Rose, nice local village. Thanks for a great few hours.

Me and my girlfriend did the half day tour to Rose with Ivana. We paddled across the bay and then had a drink in a café in Rose, swam at the Rose beach and headed back. She was a great Guide and we had the best time! We can only recommend the Kayak Tour with her! It was really fun and we would do it again 😊

Of course, there are toilets at the many restaurants, but that naturally assumes you're dining there.
