(Translated by Google) Another temple that we saw while visiting the city. It is a Gothic temple with a single nave, with chapels between buttresses, a work from the 14th and 15th centuries. Renaissance style presbytery as well as the side doorway. Parallel to the nave is the Baroque-style Communion Chapel. The bell tower has a square plan and Gothic style, interesting is the set of gargoyles and clock from the 15th century. Inside the temple we must highlight the baptismal font and the organ. An interesting visit we made. (Translated by Google) Main façade of the church of Santas Justa and Rufina. It is a work of baroque style, carried out in the 18th century by the Lorca architect Antonio Villanueva, with a great influence of the master Jaime Bort, who was working on the same temple shortly before, observed for this work. The upper part of the cover is decorated with a medallion of the titular saints in a Berniniesque style. Two more were going to be placed on the sides of it, but finally the work was left unfinished. The building has an imposing Gothic bell tower decorated with pinnacles in which the clock is located, one of the oldest clocks in Spain.

Casa Museo de Miguel Hernández is a museum dedicated to the life of the renowned Spanish poet, Miguel Hernandez. Housed in his modest childhood home in Orihuela, the museum showcases personal belongings, furniture, photographs, and paintings that offer insight into the poet's life. Located near Santa Domingo Diocesan College, it features well-preserved furniture from the last century and offers an informative video presentation.
What an interesting man and the story around him is special. A significant person in Spanish literary terms and full of passion and fervour. The site is split in two and there us s short cine film about him To see.

This feels like a wonderful place to learn about the beautiful heritage left by the Spanish poet Hernández - a great beginning for learning about him or extending the knowledge of him for “fan boys and girls”. The staff here work tirelessly to support the visitors, answering questions and enlightening the visitors about the life of the poet and how this upbringing affected and birthed his work. They are both kind and helpful. The museum is open Sundays, but closed Mondays. Ensure to arrive at least 15 mins before closing time to be guaranteed admission. However, you should allow 30 minutes to appreciate the spaces and resources.

Being ignorant, I knew nothing about Miguel Hernandez before visiting his house, but we found it all really interesting and the staff were lovely. Much of the information is in Spanish only, Google Translate helped in converting text to English. I've bought a secondhand book of his translated poetry since returning to the UK.

The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the outdoor design makes it a pleasure to stroll around. Nice shopping area that have many brand stores and much else. A plus for the very nice toilets but a minus for the restaurants (a bit pricey for what you get). Of course this is friendly to wheelchairs. There are also playgrounds for kids, they seem to love the water fountain.

Call out to all UK shopping centers. Visit this place to see how a shopping centre should be run. It's spotlessly clean, shops are full and not boarded up, free parking and it's packed full of shoppers. It's a great place to shop for clothes or food. Plenty of cafes and ice cream parlours, places for kids to play. Open until late in the evening for convenience after work. I've not heard a bad thing said about Zenia Shopping Centre.

The plaza features Sala Passion Dance Club, known for its small size but lively atmosphere with resident and guest DJs as well as themed nights during the summer. Visitors can enjoy outdoor cocktail bars and a chill-out terrace. The plaza is praised for its diverse culinary options, although some have had mixed dining experiences.
Beautiful Plaza with two levels brimming with bars and restaurants, with Spanish, Argentinian, British, Italian and Indian cuisines amongst others to choose from. The Villamartin Plaza is a busy bustling place with a popular kids area making it a top destination for a night out, or if there’s a game on you can’t miss head to the Hub Sports bar about an hour before kickoff to secure a table and he’ll sort you out on one of their many screens unless it’s already on, with multiple games on he can literally cater for all. Some nights if there is live music on you need to call your chosen restaurant in advance to secure a table otherwise you’ve got no chance.

Great drinking and eating venue. We stayed in the apartments above for 4 and really enjoyed living there staying in September , weather was comfortable, not too hot... there was Motown and blues show on Tuesday last one for the summer season. The band were fantastic. We ate at the Indian restaurant, The Dining Room, great food. It's a big complex with lots or restaurants and bars around a courtyard Square.

A beautiful and stylish plaza with a refined atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed afternoon or an elegant evening out. The terrace offers great views and a calm, upscale vibe, ideal for people-watching or unwinding with a drink. The on-site restaurant is excellent — high-quality food, attentive service, and a sophisticated setting. A great spot for those who enjoy comfort, class, and good company.

It's simply surreal. I don't think I could find somewhere so British in Britain, if I tried. There are roughly 15 restaurants, a few bars, a cannabis shop, takeaways and a supermarket, and not a single morsel of Spanish food in sight. I love Paella & Tapas but simply couldn't find any. Plenty of fish & chips, curries, pizzas & burgers though! What Brits love about Villa Martin, is what I would steer away from. I love Spain, and this is not it. Beers are dirt cheap though, around 3 euros for a pint in some places.

On the eve of Easter, and with a temporary exhibition, which I really wanted to see, it is CLOSED, when it should be open according to the established schedule. He called the museum and whistled several times, and nothing. He called again, but to the tourist office, and they told me that the concierge is on leave and they have not appointed anyone to cover that leave, therefore the museum is closed firmly. There is no sign that I announced that it is temporarily closed due to lack of staff or ANYTHING. They have also not been able to announce the closure on social networks. I have moved for nothing, being from outside, and it seems embarrassing to me. Submarine S-61 is a floating museum in Torrevieja, Spain, offering public tours of a preserved Russian submarine that was once part of the Spanish military. The museum is part of the Floating Museums of Torrevieja and provides visitors with the opportunity to explore the interior of the submarine and learn about its history and operation.
A really unexpected experience in Torrevieja! You can enter 2 coast guard boats and a submarine. Everywhere there are many rooms and you get a complete overview including kitchens, bedrooms, machine rooms. Unique and definitely worth the 2 EUR entrance fee!

Nice place! Very interesting place and not very crowded either, at opening times. My son enjoyed it. Important - they do not allow children under 110 cm to visit! However - one very unpleasant thing - the guy doing the tours is very unpleasant and rude. He either has a problem with tourists or he was bothered by our presence when he was trying to do some sort of private tour to some Spanish friends of his. Very unpleasant individual that should not be employed in a position where he has to deal with people and tourists / clients especially.
Aurel D — Google review
Very good insight on what it was like to work in a submarine & military ship. You need to be fit and agile it involves climbing up and down steep fixed ladder steps. Young children would love it. Entrance is just 2 euros and includes headphone comintury in multiple languages.
Graham R — Google review
Third time lucky... We have lived in Torrevieja for just under 3 months now and have tried to visit the submarine museum three times, the first two unsuccessful with, as others have said, it being closed for no apparent reason. The times we tried were all weeks apart, so it's not like they were just having a bad week. We finally managed to get in today on a Thursday at around 12:30pm. I gave it three stars because if you actually manage to get in, it's good value for money at just €2 each. You're pretty much forced to go on the boat first, then you go on the submarine. The boat is interesting too and you have time to make the most of it. When we were leaving, at around 13:08, some other people tried to get in but staff turned them away because they were ready to shut the place. Not fair really when the sign says it shuts at 2pm and the people getting turned away looked quite disappointed. I think it should make it clear that 2pm means closed, not "last entry". If you want to go I would recommend turning up as early as possible to avoid disappointment. To get there, turn down the sand/mud track as soon as you see the sign. It will feel like you aren't going the right way and as though you should go into the Dock, but like other people have said do not go that far. If you go through the gates, you've gone wrong. Good luck to anyone hoping to visit... Hopefully it will be open for you.
Luke W — Google review
Very interesting experience for someone living on the ground all the time. Worth visiting. Access is straight, tickets (€2 per person) you buy at the entrance, go for a small ship first and then continue to the submarine itself.
Denis R — Google review
Decent museum to see a submarine and a relatively modern ship from inside. The value for money is very good - the ticket price is only 2 eur. For those planning to come with children, your child needs to be at least 110cm high to be allowed to enter.

An interesting and unusual museum. Friendly staff and fascinating exhibitions. Never been on a submarine before so this was a great opportunity to see what it's like. A great value hour or so for just €2. Thank you.

Great little museum. For only 2 euros, you get an audio tour of a submarine and a patrol boat. The submarine is fascinating. There are also a variety of smaller boats and naval artefacts to explore. A great way to spend an hour!

The worst of all is the lighting, especially in the first two rooms and the throne room. The paintings impossible to contemplate with the glare of the spotlights and the sculptures with ghostly lighting full of shadows. Added to all this drama of lights, add the mixture of cold and warm lights to illuminate the same work. You pay that price (high for such a small museum) because you think you will be able to enjoy it, but it is difficult to do so with such a sloppy presentation. This is an amazing view point over Cabo Roig beach and to watch the sun set over the marina. There are steps down to the marina and a nice restaurant on the sea edge.

Archaeological museum
Sala Museo San Juan De Dios is a unique museum in Spain that showcases the sculpture of a winged devil in female form, created by Nicolas de Bussey in the 17th century. This demon takes part in Easter processions and symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. The museum, located in a former chapel of the Municipal Hospital, also features an archaeological collection and temporary exhibitions.

(Translated by Google) Rubalcava Palace. Its construction was completed in the 1930s although it has some later additions. It was built imitating the scheme of the Oriolano baroque palaces (from a hallway illuminated by a neo-baroque dome and through a marble staircase with a tiled plinth you access the noble floor). The different rooms on this floor have been given environments consistent with their function and clearly differentiated. For example, the chapel is neo-Gothic in style; the black living room features sober furniture (some in Castilian and Renaissance style); the ballroom is in the rococo style, the green room in the empire style, etc. We must highlight an important set of furniture with a wide chronology and varied style, Renaissance, Recoco, Empire, Queen Anne, Provençal, Castilian, etc. It also has an interesting collection of ceramics, mainly from Manises, spice racks, fountains, plates, salvillas, etc. Among the multitude of canvases preserved in the palace, several with religious themes from the 17th and 18th centuries stand out.
