Explore the fascinating history of mining at the Queen Mine Tour in Bisbee, Arizona. Dating back to the late 1870s, this century-old underground complex offers hard-hat tours that take visitors on a journey through time. Led by knowledgeable tour guides, including retired Phelps Dodge employees, visitors descend 1,500 feet into the mine to learn about mining techniques, dangers, and dramatic stories from the past.
Tickets were sold out, very glad we purchased them ahead of time. The kids absolutely loved it. We’ll definitely go again. The gift shop was really nice and there was also the cool rocks that we got.

This mine tour was so much fun! They give you a hard hat, vest, and a light. The train ride is really cool too! Our guide definitely knew what he was talking about and answered our groups questions. The cave we toured through is wide open. As someone with claustrophobia, I felt safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend!
Courtney I — Google review
Very fun and informative tour. I did not plan this in advance, I was driving through Bisbee doing some sightseeing and came upon this place. I stopped in, it was 1:30 in the afternoon and there was a tour starting at 2pm. There was still room left on the tour so I was able to go on it, and I'm glad I did. There were mostly other adults on my tour, only 1 child. This is probably geared more towards adults and older children. Young kids might find it boring.

What a unique experience! The Queen Mine Tour was the highlight of our trip to Bisbee. Our guide, Neil shared real-life stories from his time working in the mine, and you could feel his passion for the history and the company (Phelps Dodge Corporation). The tour was well organized, informative, and fun. A must-do if you’re visiting Bisbee!
Niranda W — Google review
Absolute must do in Bisbee!!! When you arrive you’ll get outfitted with a hard hat, light, and safety vest. Then you’ll board the cart deal that takes you into the mine. You straddle the seat like a motorcycle. Joey, our tour guide was fantastic. He was funny, knowledgeable, and made the tour fun and semi interactive, while making sure everyone felt safe. We had a smaller group so it was like a private tour. We went 1500 feet underground and learned the entire history of the mine. We even got to see the illusive light show (not typically offered). Awesome experience for all ages.
Emm B — Google review
Loved the tour and the gift shop! All staff that we encountered were friendly. The tour was so informative! The mine is in great shape. Will live to take others through in the future.
D F — Google review
Awesome experience. Didn’t know quite what to expect but Stephanie and Joey were very informative and had great sense of humor. Made for a wonderful tour The stops were great and we learned new things that we never knew, saw a “ Toilet”, and rang the bell, shopped afterwards and would go back again. Not as chilly as expected, but could be the day we went. June 2, at 12:00pm. Would recommend this tour A great learning experience.

This was such a neat tour and fun place to know and explore 😺. Our tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable on the mining history in Bisbee. They also have a very nice gift shop. I loved the sunflowers at the very top when you exit and can see the view of the city just so beautiful and scenic. If you want to see something different and educational, this is the tour to go to. I learned alot of cool stuff from this tour and how rich at one point Bisbee was in copper and other minerals.

The Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum is a must-visit attraction offering underground mine tours, history exhibits, and a crystal cave. Located in the former headquarters of the Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Company, this museum provides an interactive journey into the role of western copper mining towns in America's industrialization. Visitors can explore impressive minerals, artifacts, photographs, and tools from Bisbee's mining era.
Wonderful place. Don't miss it! Main floor has history of the town with great displays and info. Upstairs is all about the mining in town. Very interesting and you could get a sense of how life was for miners. This town was THE SPOT in the 1800s. One of the best museums I've been to!

This is such a fascinating place. If you are visiting Bisbee for the first time I highly recommend this museum. As I post this it's only $10 and well worth it. It's a Smithsonian affiliate if that tells you anything about how great it is. They have a room that is still original and a gift shop that is tax free!
Bee K — Google review
Excellent mining and history of Bisbee museum. If you are in town exploring, make sure to stop by and see the history of this place. Pretty crazy the amount of copper that came from their and how it formed the town of Bisbee. The exhibits are very nice and interesting. You can really get a feel of what it was back in the day, minus the hard work and suffering a lot of these early settlers of this area faced. There's even a whole section that I believe the smithsonian helped with (could be wrong) that includes a ton of different minerals / rocks from the area that are absolutely beautiful. Cool town, awesome museum!

The Bisbee Queen Mine Tour was amazing. My partner and I visited during our weekend getaway trip. I'd never been in a mine before and it was something to experience. Parking wasn't difficult as they had their own lot. I would imagine during high visitor times you wouldn't be able to find a space.b Before we went into the doors, we saw many things to do outside and learned a lot of history about the mine. Entering the doors it's a museum and store to purchase items from. We did buy our tickets inside and was lucky enough they had a few seats left. We got hard hats and vests lights and boarded the mine train. It was an experience the entire family would enjoy. To see the entire experience visit my YouTube Channel called Eat and Travel with Toni.

This place is amazing. Really well done and I especially like the minerals. The docents are super friendly and informative. We learned all about the mining heritage of Bisbee. They also have a wonderful gift shop.
Karen — Google review
Beautiful place, learned a good amount of history and interesting facts. I recommend everyone stops by and supports the museum. $10 admission and $9 for seniors and military.
Nikki T — Google review
Wow, this was an awesome place to go with so much information and well laid out! The history of the area is downstairs while the upstairs is devoted to minerals and mining. Definitely worth the visit. This is part of the Smithsonian institute. The admission price is $10 and there are discounts for seniors and active military. There may be others as well. They have docent lead tours, as well as self led, which is what we did.

Cafe Roka is an upmarket cafe located in a historic building, offering New American cuisine and hosting weekly live jazz performances. The award-winning eatery provides a comfortable yet high-end dining experience, serving an affordable and delicious four-course dinner every night. Additionally, the area offers other dining options such as Little Rosas Italy for traditional Southern Italian and Sicilian dishes, Thuys Noodle Shop for fine dining, Contessas for Mexican fare, and Screaming Banshee for excellent pizza.
One of the BEST dining experiences you can have in AZ. Definitely the most memorable. Allan, our server, was impeccable and detailed. Every cocktail on the menu is 10/10 as well!
Dena M — Google review
Stepping into Cafe Roka was a little like going home, partly because it’s warm and cozy, and partly because it’s painted close to the same color as most of our walls, on which are hung similar, lively and colorful art. Located in the heart of Bisbee’s main drag, it has one of the coolest doors I’ve ever seen (but you need to walk by when they are closed to see it). There are plenty of tables on multiple levels but reservations are a must on Saturday night. We had reservations but we scored two seats at the corner of the bar, which is where we prefer to sit in most restaurants. It’s the kind of bar we like, rectangular, so we can see people across the bar. The bar is also a good place to get attentive service and quick help when you need it, which we got from the friendly bartender. Although the name “cafe” sounds casual and I would call the restaurant’s vibe comfortable, the food and service are clearly fine dining. The menu offers a selection of small plates and mains. We often prefer small plates, so we opted for that side of the menu. Between us we shared the short rib ravioli (delicious, perfectly al dente, and generous for a small plate), the small plate sampler of prosciutto-wrapped artichoke hearts (we ordered an extra plate of just these), bacon-wrapped dates (everything’s better with bacon), and cheese-stuffed roasted peppers (yummy). Sarah ordered the beet salad, which she really liked (I’m not a beet guy). The wine list offered a nice variety of reasonably priced bottles (we don’t like to spend a lot of money on restaurant wine). We’ll be back anytime we are in Bisbee. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

Is the best dinner we had in a while. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our anniversary and it was unforgettable. The server surprised us with the dessert and was amazing. We recommended this place for everything, is a sweet place, perfect service and quality of food and drinks.

Stop I mean Stop! Make a reservation whether you are local or are visiting. Absolutely fabulous restaurant. From making reservations to enjoying our dinner experience. This was absolutely the highlight of our weekend visit to Bisbee. Thankfully it's 3 1/2 hours away or it would be a weekly choice. Can you please open a location closer to Mesa? Warm friendly greetings from the hostess fabulous service from Memo to outstanding flavorful burst in your mouth dishes. Definitely didn't disappoint food and atmosphere doesn't compare to anything else in Bisbee. Got to meet Chef and Owner when he assisted with a mix up on birthday desserts. Totally happy with outcome and HIGHLY RECOMMEND a visit. We definitely will if in proximity. Thank you for a great Friday night.

A wonderful evening with my honey. Risotto, Gnocchi, salad, breads and spreads, a bottle of Pinot …all so delicious! Thank you (Edit , we came back Memorial Day weekend. My husband loved his filet, and the wine recommendation was excellent! )

Excellent place for food, service and ambiance. Creative menu; wife had seafood sampler of crab cake, shrimp and lobster ravioli. Silver Ghost Cabernet (2022) was excellent. Also, btry the breads & spreads appetizer. Outstanding

Incredible food and upscale, but modern, atmosphere. The spreads were great, the appetizers were great, and the seafood was great. I came with a large wedding party and the service was incredible. Thanks for such a special dinner on such a special day.

Mines
Lavender Pit is a former open-pit copper mine located near the famous Copper Queen Mine in Bisbee, Arizona. Despite its name, it's not actually colored purple; rather, it was named after Harrison M. Lavender, who played a significant role in turning the unprofitable low-grade copper-bearing rock in the area into commercial copper ore.
Easy access right off of the highway, plenty of parking, just watch your speed and angle due to the entrance height. Amazing views of the different excavations that took place and plenty of info to learn about its history. Definitely stop here is you are going to or coming from Bisbee. They even have cutouts in the fencing for you to put your camera through for pictures.
Christian A — Google review
This is a cool stop. There’s ample parking. The fence surrounding the lavender pit has cutouts so that you can take photos. It is a very interesting site. There’s also 2 memorials in the parking area.
Nelida S — Google review
I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because their parking lot/driveway is garbage. It could be a really nice place to visit if they fixed the pavement. I like how they made slots in the fencing so that you can stick your phone through to keep the linkage out of your shots. Very cool!
Anthony M — Google review
Really awesome can see how zig zagged thier way down into ground. Wish were able to see more of it like on others side to the right where is dug down as deep. Like cut outs have in fence to take pictures.
Tammy R — Google review
While I am saddened by what we humans have done to Mother Earth, this huge hole in the ground does inspire awe. It's amazing what people have been able to achieve. This mine is a testament to human industry. While the average onlooker cannot go into the mine, it's free to stop in this outdoor visitor center of sorts and read about mining history and look out over the pit. Looking at this massive excavation does make one feel small.
Cee G — Google review
This is less than five minutes outside of Bisbee. I highly recommend it. It is absolutely free, no wait the size, the colors and the views are breathtaking.
Lou G — Google review
The size and scope of this is immense – it’s worth it to stop quickly and take a look at the hole in the ground through the hole in the fence.
Bruce B — Google review
It's a pit! No lavender tho because the pit was named after Harrison M. Lavender, a mining engineer and executive for Phelps Dodge Corporation 😁

The Muheim Heritage House, located at 207 Youngblood Hill in Bisbee, is a beautifully restored 19th-century home that offers docent-led tours. Built between 1898 and 1915 by Joseph and Carmelita Muheim, this National Historic site showcases Queen Anne architectural influences and features period furnishings. The house has an unusual semicircular porch and was expanded as the family grew. Visitors can explore the elegant pioneer home to get a glimpse of early life in Bisbee.
Toured the Muheim House today with friendly, docent, Tina. Very impressed by both her knowledge and the restoration effort. Feel it should be included in the top 10 things to do in Bisbee. You can walk up or drive. Either way gets your heart pumping.
Brendy K — Google review
Very pleasant, interesting, historic home to visit and tour. A bit difficult to find, but well worth the effort. It is extremely well maintained and there are many objects and furniture of interest. The Tour Guide was quite friendly and knowledgeable. The back of the house is available for short term lodging.
Renata H — Google review
Everything is this wonderful old home/museum has a history and befits the museum. I could tell restoring it was a labor of love. A bit tricky to find (up those narrow streets). Use GPS if you have one. One parking spot in back. Well worth the time.
Kathy H — Google review
The house was nicely restored. The tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. We learned a great deal about the history of Bisby and the Muheim family.
Brad S — Google review
Neat old house, but the tour I'd rather disjointed done by volunteers usually who may not be providing the most historically relevant or riveting information. Most of the tour focuses on the accoutrements of the house, not the community or historical developments that led to it being built.

Just got to enjoy the outside part. Benches, lovely and romantic. That street, Young blood is extremely steep. Beautifull spot.

Warren Ballpark, established in 1909, stands as one of the oldest professional baseball stadiums in the United States. The grandstands made of concrete and adobe brick have hosted numerous minor league, semi-pro, high school, and amateur games over its 110-year history. It is considered to be one of the oldest continuously-operated baseball diamonds in the U.S., with a rich history deeply intertwined with the community's love for baseball.
What a great Mariachi festival with all the right prices and weather. A great wood-fired pizza. Parking could have been better if they utilized Vista Park.

We attended a Vintage Baseball event here and it was wonderful. All games were played with 1860 rules, and players wore authentic uniforms. This is the oldest, continously run ballpark in America, and it an amazing treasure.

A great Ball Park that is professionally made and used by B league and visiting A league. A great history. We just happened to be there when this guy was just ending a radio interview. He started talking to us about the ballpark and gave us a personal tour, unlocking the doors to the dressing rooms and everything. It was awesome 😎!

My review of Warren Ballpark. I've been here a couple of times for the Mariachi festival. My daughter dances folklorico for CDFA in Tucson, AZ. The field looks alright. It is a grass field with baseball and football all in one. There were an estimated 2000 people on the field with plenty of room for more. They were raising money for the homeless, among other non-profit organizations. The funds collected all go to great causes. If you hear about it, go out and sit in for a good time. Bring your own chairs because they do offer chairs, but it's on a first come, first serve basis. Food trucks are available.

The Shady Dell is a vintage trailer park in Bisbee, offering a unique and nostalgic accommodation experience. Each trailer is beautifully styled, taking guests on a delightful trip back in time. Despite some minor comfort issues with the sofa and bed, the connected diner and bar provide good drinks at reasonable prices. The peaceful atmosphere during weekdays makes for a quiet and enjoyable stay. Although there was limited office staff presence, the overall experience of staying at The Shady Dell left visitors eager to return for another visit.
Someone in Lowell told us to check this place out, just across the road from the end of Lowell’s Main Street, just past the police station. What a discovery, which I call AirstreamBnB! Spread across a couple of acres are around 20 vintage, permanently parked trailers, all of which are available for overnight rental, and some of which have vintage cars parked outside. If you look up the word “quaint” in the dictionary, you should see a photo of this place. The trailers are named for their brand, such as “Royal Spartanette” and “1947 Airfloat,” and there’s even a “1947 Tiki Bus”” and a permanently beached 1947 yacht (why so many from 1947?). Many of the trailers have tables and chairs like your grandparents had, for relaxing outside your temporary non-mobile home, and there’s also a firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see inside any of the trailers because the place was fully booked on a beautiful March weekend, but a couple of guests said they stay here every year. Lest you think Shady Dell is a recent nostalgic brainstorm that may not last, it has been an overnight destination for over 30 years. On weekends, the adjacent Dot’s Diner is open (see my separate review). We will stay here the next time we visit Bisbee. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

We recently reserved one of the larger trailers for an overnight with three adults. A little surprised to find the cemetery as one of our views. We were there during the week and, unfortunately, the dining car was not open. Sat down on the sofa and the dust flew. Beds were hard. Decided to look elsewhere for our night’s lodging. No one on site. Disappointed…
Valorie S — Google review
The trailer was dirty with spider webs and what appeared to be blood stain on floor. There was no electrical plugs in any of the sleeping areas. Some of the windows were broken and open even though it was air conditioned. It just didnt appear to be any effort to be clean. No one was in the office even though it was 3pm and we called the phone number and emergency number and no one was available. We left message and never received a return call! We didn’t spend the nite and fell lije it was a total rip off. Woukd never recommend this place. If coukd have been great if management cleaned and put any effort into the park

Juan G — Google review
This place had been on my bucket list since it opened 30 years ago. I live on the east coast so it took me a while to get there. It was very disappointing. I arrived at 3 pm, which is check in time. No one was in the office. There was a card taped inside the door with my name and directing me to my trailer with the trailer name. I didn’t feel safe at all because I was the ONLY person there, and mine was the only check in card, and the card advertised my trailer. There is no security around the property and the lock on the trailer is vintage and flimsy. I couldn’t connect to WiFi. I have a feeling it wasn’t turned on. I left after an hour.
Kim G — Google review
It's a great little trailer park. Remember, the units are from the 50s. So if you're looking for luxury, not your place. Everything is well maintained by Justin. We had a problem on a late arrival, he fixed it right away. That's great service. Everyone at Dots Diner very nice great food and service. We will definitely be back.

Nestled in the historic Lowell neighborhood, Bisbee Breakfast Club is a relaxed cafe offering an all-day menu featuring omelets, huevos rancheros, biscuits, burgers, and coffee. This multifaceted establishment also houses Old Bisbee Coffee Roasters and High Desert Market and Cafe. The eclectic dining repertoire includes artisan pizza, pad Thai, freshly-baked pastries every morning, as well as a variety of cakes and pies.
We had a fun time going up to Bisbee for breakfast at the BBC today. I haven’t been here since 2023 so it was cool to see how they’ve added the other room. The decorations were beautiful with such a fun 50s atmosphere. I loved all the large open windows. We got the hash-browns, with eggs, gravy & their giant biscuits. I’d also recommend the strawberry lemonade!!Definitely enough to share for two. The serving sizes were impressive. Will go back again!

Mitzi was SO nice, the food was excellent, and do not miss the home made pie! The loaded biscuits and gravy were excellent and the largest biscuits I've ever seen! The French toast is made with real French loaves and cinnamon with homemade syrup. This may be the best breakfast I've ever eaten in my life! It was worth the 10-minute wait for a table. It's always packed!

My partner and I visited Bisbee Breakfast Club in Bisbee Arizona on Erie Street for a quick couples getaway. This place was a sight to see. It's nestled between other abandoned stores and shops on Erie Street. Upon walking in there's lots of old school nostalgic items all around the restaurant. I'd never been in a place that brought back so many memories with the trinkets and items they have sitting around. Its like it's own museum. There's tables and chairs or you can choose a bar seat to order your food and drinks to enjoy. Take the family to enjoy. We had heard so many good things about this place that we had to try it. My wife had the jalapeno popper omelet which was absolutely delicious. I had the chorizo rancheros and that was wonderful too. My step daughter, who is extremely selective about her food, couldn't stop talking about how good her huevos rancheros were. The service was quick and extremely friendly. The portion size was quite generous. Had I not been overly hungry, my wife and I could have shared a plate. The prices were completely reasonable. We will be back to try more delicious entrees.

Food was decent but nothing special, good for when you’re on the road & need a quick bite. There was fly at our table that flew in my face thrice which was super annoying. It was busy inside but service was quick. The bathrooms need some serious work.

Historical landmark
Erie Street in Historic Lowell, Bisbee, AZ offers a glimpse into the past with its post-apocalyptic landscape from the 1950s. Once a thriving mining town incorporated in the early 1900s, it now stands as a remnant of history. The street is lined with rusting vehicles and abandoned stores, but still houses three real stores including the popular Bisbee Breakfast Club.
As open pit mining near Lowell expanded and in the mid 20th Century, it ate most of the town, eventually leading to the abandonment of what remained, and in the remainder, time stopped. The best evidence of this is the radio station. Press your face up against the glass of the building on the curve, just before entering Lowell’s straight main drag, and you will see a dusty, time-capsule radio studio that looks like the DJ went home one day in the 1960s and no one ever came back. But Lowell has a couple of thriving businesses, the Bisbee Breakfast Club where we had lunch (see my separate review), the Lady Pickers antique store, a private gym that looked nice through the window, and some guy who does something with motorcycles. There are a couple more storefronts that may or may not be businesses. It’s hard to tell. The main drag is lined with vintage cars, a Greyhound bus, and some old trucks. A vintage police car sits outside the Police Station. Today, a group of dedicated volunteers keeps Lowell stuck in time. Donations are welcome for this worthy cause. If you visit Bisbee, be sure to visit Lowell too. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

Erie street, in the Lowell district, of Bisbee Arizona. Located at 5000 ft above sea level. This beautiful historic district is kind of like a free outdoor museum. It has been condemned and it will soon be torn down. It is a great place to take photographs. It is also home of the Bisbee breakfast club, a restaurant that now has locations in Tucson as well. I had a wonderful time taking photos here today. I used to live in Bisbee Arizona, and I worked for the visitor center and the chamber of commerce. I came out here for a short day drive from Sierra Vista where I live now, which is 35 mi from Bisbee. Come and check out loyal before the state condemns it and tears it down. I really wish that the state would preserve this as a historical site it is really a wonderful place.

Bisbee was one of the most amazing places I've ever seen in my life. The buildings, the people, the area, the surroundings.... everything about it was absolutely stunning. I had the best time I've ever had in my life just walking through the streets and experiencing the town in person. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to go here and see how awesome it is. The colorful houses and the landscape. Oh. My. God. And this little food shop was sooooooo good. Im so happy I went here today. So so happy.
Trisha L — Google review
Erie Street feels like stepping onto the set of a classic movie, with beautiful vintage cars and charming scenery. There isn’t much else to see, but if you love old-school charm, this spot is worth a visit.
Priscilla W — Google review
This place is surreal, like riding my motorcycle into the Twilight Zone. Vintage cars everywhere, 1940s/'50s Harley and Indian motorcycle storefronts, bikes in the windows. Almost walked into what I thought was a moto museum but it was a private home. No people that I could see, just memories and ghosts.

You won't find anything like this. Plan a trip to Bisbee and drive 10 minutes away to experience Historic Erie Street. Old cars and old buildings. It is so much fun. I felt like a little kid in a candy store. Don't miss it.

My partner and I went on a Couple's Weekend Getaway to Bisbee Arizona. Some say it's a ghost town, but others say the population moved suddenly leaving the town vacant. It's located 90 miles southeast of Tucson and nestled among the Mule Mountains, Bisbee is the picturesque county seat of historic Cochise County. Bisbee was founded as a copper, gold, and silver mining town in 1880, and named in honor of Judge DeWitt Bisbee, one of the financial backers of the adjacent Copper Queen Mine. Bisbee is a quaint little town with a little less than 5,000 residents living there. It has made its comeback and thrives on tourism with visitors exploring its mine and staying in landmark hotels. We went to Eerie Street which is an abandoned street in the town and looks like a ghost town. When the people had their great migration from Bisbee, everything was left as it was. It's free for you to walk the abandoned streets and to see the town of Bisbee nearby. There's a sidewalk and it can be wheelchair accessible, but be mindful it's an old street that might not have full accessibility access. This is an attraction that you can take your family to enjoy as well. Its very interesting to see. I haven't seen anything else like it thus far. Check out the full video of our experience at my YouTube Channel called Eat and Travel with Toni.

It was awesome to step back in time with all the classic cars. Setting is beautiful! Allegedly one of the most photographed streets in America. Glad we went 5 minutes out of the way to check it out. We noticed cops were eating at the Bisbee Breakfast Club. Cops only eat at the food places! Wish we hadn't eaten before we got there. Hurry though. Rumor has it the mine (who owns the property) won't be renewing the leases for the only two businesses open on the street.

Specialty Museums
The Bisbee Restoration Museum is a volunteer-operated gallery located in downtown old town Bisbee. The museum showcases historical artifacts donated by local residents, providing visitors with insight into prehistoric times and the mining era. A small gift shop offers souvenirs or copper pieces from Bisbee. Admission is a suggested donation of $2, and the friendly staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The museum features numerous cool vintage relics and photographs of old Bisbee, making it an excellent educational experience for history enthusiasts.
This is a great museum in downtown old town Bisbee. Lots of history from donated items. It tells of history from pre historic times to the mining years. It really gave a good sense of what it must of been like to live in Bisbee in the past. There is a small shopping area to get a souvenir or a piece of your own Bisbee copper. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Very interesting Museum. Lots of things to see if you are interested in Bisbee, or history in general. There are clothes from different time periods, old tools and electronics, housewares, photos and signs from past business in Bisbee, and more things I did not see. The building is also interesting. It was a department store called "The Fair" a long time ago. The museum has been slowly restoring it, I believe. It is well worth the $5 (May 2025) admission.

I really enjoyed this little out of the way museum. When we visited, they weren't exactly open yet and were having some kind of meeting. Not to worry though...someone quickly came and invited us to enjoy the museum. They were excellent at answering questions and this is exactly the kind of museum I love to visit. Totally worth a visit when you're in Bisbee!

It’s 2 bucks donation to get in and there are a lot of cool old artifacts and old pictures of Bisbee. I learned a lot and the lady working was really nice. She came over and played one of the super old record players for us cause she had seen us looking at them for a while.

Great small town museum covering the history of Bisbee. Three floors of exhibits from clothing to old radio and mining equipment. Good descriptions and covers the less savory parts of the towns history as well as the good.

fascinating history of Bisbee in all its many facets. it is a non-profit, it gets gets little funding. a team of devoted volunteers makes it what it is. it is a work in progress and probably always will be, it is verging on spectacular, but has not quite made that leap yet.

Wonderful experience, there were so many exhibits and displays. Visual treats were in every room, hallway, and on some ceilings. Globally and locally known artists are presented in this collection of contemporary, graffiti, and street art. It was a truly amazing gallery to visit and explore.

We had a great first time visit there three weeks ago! Such a wonderful addition to the Bisbee art scene! Banksy is the current lead exhibit. While everything might not be my favorite type of art, they seem true to their vision. Google maps does not have the right location, it is now in the building where the old School House Inn Bed and Breakfast was. Signage isn't great due to local restrictions so go to their website to get the exact location.

St Patrick Catholic Church, located at 100 Quality Hill Road, is a stunning church with incredible stained glass windows that have been restored to their former glory. The community came together to raise funds for the restoration, and the result is breathtaking. The church also features lovely murals around the perimeter and a gift shop to explore. Visitors can take a stroll around the property and even visit the playground, which is currently undergoing improvements through fundraisers.
A must visit when in Bisbee. The Church is so beautiful and peaceful. Stay for Mass if you get a chance. And if you are not Catholic stop by and admire the stained glass windows. I was looking for an ornament at the gift shop and found a calendar, books and post cards. The volunteers are amazing.

I walked up the ways while I was waiting for the shops and eateries to open. I came upon St. Patrick's church a short walk towards the west of town. I walked in for a little prayer time. I was truly impressed by it's beauty inside! The stain glass work is amazing. The stations of the cross are gorgeous. I sat there admiring the architecture, statues and the altar. I only wished I could be there for mass. Perhaps the next time i'm in town. Additionally, they have a small gift shop. I had a short coversation with the gentleman working the desk, if i recall correctly his name is Tom, thank you Tom. I purchased a beautiful cricifix to take home from my trip. Our Lord always manages to show me the beauty which is he, no matter where I go. 😀

Discover the Miners & Merchants Antique Center, a huge antique store located in Bisbee, Arizona. This three-floor treasure trove offers a wide range of merchandise, from large leather accent chairs to tiny kitchen table settings for dollhouses. The colorful Arizona-flag patterned bomber jackets by Classic Rock Couture are popular among locals and celebrities like Florence Pugh and Miley Cyrus.
This was a really cool antiques and stuff place. They had a lot of interesting things at great prices. I always expect towns oriented towards tourists to be really expensive, so that was a nice surprise. The upstairs was kind of thin. The basement was great. I’ve spoiled the surprise in my pictures, but not everyone loves a good jump scare. I stayed there a while just to enjoy people getting startled.

Located in the 1897 Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Company office building, the Copper Queen Library is a must-visit attraction in Bisbee. The library is not only a historical landmark but also hosts various events and programs. The Friends of the library organize fundraising events to support its programs and collections, including an annual Altered Books Show and Silent Auction. Additionally, the library houses a used book store on the same floor as the Post Office.
Great library! Big and rich with history! It is a must to see, as it is the oldest library in the state of AZ. History inside, but very updated with a teen area and kids corner.
Brianna G — Google review
The best library I've ever experienced! And my 3 year old daughter absolutely loves it here. So many awesome kids activities. And they have--a seed library. A tool library. You can check out yard games, instruments, it's so cool. And the DVD selection is out of this world. The wrap around patios on the second and third floors really do have the best views in all of Old Bisbee. What a gem of a place. Kudos to all the incredible staff!
Lisa B — Google review
When we walked in, we were stunned. This library is a DESTINATION and we will visit again for sure— not just to discover something new to read, but also to experience the aura of glorious days gone by. The librarians are helpful and fun. They went above and beyond to help me understand how the Arizona and Cochise County Libraries work. Did you know you can check a book out here, then return it at any library in Cochise County? Bring a friend, park nearby, have a snack and coffee, tea, or smoothie at the Old Bisbee Coffee Company then walk across the street to here. Plan for a few hours. Don’t miss the insanely inexpensive book store next door in the historical Post Office!

I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the Director of the CQLibrary Amadee Ricketts. She helped me get my disorganised, last minute Library Membership in order, stopping me from having to spend EVERY WAKING HOUR with my family on our Great RV Adventure Holiday together. You saved what is left of my sanity Amadee. The World and everyone I encounter in it from that moment forward have SO MUCH to thank you for! You are Strictly amazing, and I never listen to an Audiobook now without saying a little "Thank you 🥲" to YOU. 🤗💜☮️

I cannot comment on the services the library provides because as a non-resident, I cannot borrow books. However, as a historical building and landmark, it is quite appealing and interesting. The brick facade blends with the overall look of Bisbee and the second and third floor outside decks provide a peaceful and serene respite from the hustle on the street below. Apparently, this library has one awards as one of the top libraries in America. I quite enjoyed my half an hour respite here before getting back in the saddle and continuing my ride south.

The Copper Queen Library Annex in San Jose is a delightful gem that combines literature with art and community spirit. One of its standout features is the Statas of Time Water Feature, an impressive sculpture that illustrates geological history through various layers representing fossils, bones, pottery shards, and artifacts from the mining era in southern Arizona. This unique installation not only serves as a visual centerpiece but also utilizes water collected from the library's rain catchment system.
