Banj Beach is a renowned pebble beach in Sibenik, offering stunning panoramic views of the city's Cathedral and four well-preserved fortresses. It has been awarded the Blue Flag for its pristine landscapes and offers various sports activities such as volleyball, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, water polo, and picigin. The nearby restaurant Petrus provides a perfect spot to enjoy Dalmatian cuisine under the sun.
Small, charming beach with breathtaking view of Šibenik ♥️Fine gravel is as soft as sand, but nothing sticks to the body or clothes which is great. Toilets are large, modern and very clean. Petrus Beach Bar is serving large variety of food and drinks. Water, since it is a narrow bay, is amazingly warm 😍 The beach is facing south. Just over the beach there is a parking dedicated for beach clients. City centre is very well reachable from this beach, too.
Jacek O — Google review
Type: "Prilaz tvornici 35 parking" to get to a big parking area right above the beach. It's one of most affordable ones, 5 euros for a daily ticket. Banj is only few minutes away, walking distance. The sea here is specific because its mixed with water from a river, but still good for a city refreshment and daily fun. There is a big public toilet, pretty clean and no charge, basketball and volleyball courts, outdoor gym, children water fun park and a cafe with some food options and reasonable prices (chicken tortilla and fries 10 euros, burger and fries 14 euros, beer 3 euros, coffee 2.20 euros). Important: there is almost no shade at the beach. Secure something yourself. Dogs are only allowed on the leash and not inside the sea.
Iva V — Google review
Worlds above Jadrija beach in my opinion, and easy to overlook thinking you should be heading to other islands for a beach day. There's a restaurant, so you've got clean bathrooms, changing rooms, food, coffee and water. And the American (?) member of staff is lovely and very helpful. We went in early September, and there weren't too many people there so it was perfect. No sea urchins, but water is pretty rocky. You can rent beach beds for €8-10 euros a day, which is a bit steep but they offered room to barter, especially if you're purchasing multiple things. The aqua park was €10 for an hour which I found reasonable. Though admittedly there isn't too much to do on it. But the main issue is the barnacles underneath/ on the edges. We both got cut up and ended up with legs covered in blood!
Lucie P — Google review
Nice rock beach inlet, stunning views of old town, sun lounges and umbrella can be hired for a charge, jumping water slide 10 euro 1 hour 25euro all day, kids loved it, bar and restraunt on site. No shaded areas best to bring umbrella
Karen B — Google review
A little beach with a peaceful vibe and no crowds, about a 20-minute walk from the historic center. One thing to know before you go: the Krka River flows into the bay nearby, making the water much less salty than the sea. It caught me off guard — I had to work noticeably harder to stay afloat.
Roman P — Google review
May 1st holiday was a sunny one but very, very windy so not many visitors. Gave me a chance to check out the place and wander around. Theres a restaurant, already open, kiddies play area, and for fitness buffs an exercise set up with equipment to work out on. As usual on this coast beach pebbly so rubber slip on shoes suggested. Fabulous hot sunny day and plenty of people, many swimming, water playground area set up so its time to hit the beach folks. And the views of the city are post card perfect.
Serafin S — Google review
Ok beach with a views of the city and some mountains, water in the bay is less salty cause river KRK falls into the sea not far from the beach. The only beach for shinenik that you can do by easy walking if you stay in the old city.
Yaroslav K — Google review
Excellent beach, wonderful view on the city. There is icecream stand, free toilette and DJ on the beach on weekends. There is beachball and basketball court and gym on open. Parking is 100m away, cost 3€ per full day. City is super clean.

Renovated in 2017, it offers facilities for children and youth including a children's and aqua park, volleyball and basketball courts, and a mini gym. The beach provides free parking, showers, clean toilets, sunbeds and parasols for rent. While the food options are not exceptional, there are nearby buffet options available.
Nice public beach in Šibenik. Easy parking, free showers, free toilets, tables for snacks, playground for childrens, bars and restaurants...
Marcel M — Google review
Huge beach and tons of parking places. Water is clear enough for snorkeling. Playground area for kids, a bar on the beach Option to rent seats or small tables under umbrellas Some restaurants available nearby Good clean toilet
Dana P — Google review
Lovely beach. They have umbrellas you can rent €12 a day and sun beds I believe €6. They also have many shops cafe and all the amenities you will need like changing rooms bathrooms which is really nice and not that common to find. they have tons of stuff for kids like playgrounds and you can rent jets skis so really they have everything here. Sea is excellent just be cautious of the sea urchins but sea is beautifully clear and will be able to spot them no problem. Overall lovely beach really great easy to get to and free parking.
Karissa G — Google review
Great beach with a lot of free parking spots. There is no way You will not find a place to put a blanket on the ground. Clear water. Bars and restaurants. I really recommend this place.

It's a huge beach with plenty of free parking. You can rent sun loungers and parasols. There are toilets on one end. They are nice and clean but no toilet paper.
Stefanie K — Google review
There are showers and toilet. Shadow is limited under artificial construction in the center. Appropriate for snorkeling. Parking is big and free. Construction works continue near the beach but not very loud.
Zahar K — Google review
Top. Water ist crystal blue. So clean you can see many big fishes and also small ones. Watch out for sea urchins, many there because of clean water, not at first, just where you can’t touch.

Beach Jadrija in Sibenik is not your typical beach destination. It has a unique charm with its colorful changing cabins that symbolize the picturesque and welcoming nature of the city and its people. This community recreation area has been a retreat for locals over the years, offering affordable drinks and food, creating a charming atmosphere especially during summer nights. The beach is family-friendly with clean, shallow waters and plenty of rocks near the shore for swimmers to enjoy.
Blast from the past. We used to go here when I was young and not much has changed. Clean beaches, cool tree shades, and lot of families with kids. There are also cafes with ice cream and donuts. Relaxing and unpretentious beach.

Lovely sea is beautiful great for all ages some cafes and food you can order but no toilets except at the parking which are porta potties otherwise always a good time spectacular views and clean sea
Karissa G — Google review
This old fashioned beach literally stole my heart. It was like a blast from the past experience- free from all the fake bougie modern extras. Just crystal clear waters, beautiful nature and happy non-pretentious people acompanied by some chill music at the background.

Not really spectacular... Looks better on the photo 😂 not good space to lay down, people have their little huts there...
Katarina S — Google review
Beach Jadrija is a community recreation area that is quite unique in its ambience as it was kept by Sibenik locals as their place of retreat over long period of time passed. Drinks and food are very affordable as well and summer nights have a specific charm... similar to travelling through a wormhole in time. It is also very close to Fort St. Nicholas a UNESCO world heritage site just out of the town sea channel.
Kristian U — Google review
Jadrija is a huge family friendly beach with couple of affordable caffès here and there, mostly reserved by the locals or families on vacations. The sea is clean, shallow and warm, there’s a lot of big rocks close to the shore, but it’s totally cool for the good swimmers. There’s a lot of trees close to the beach, so if you’re looking for the shade or a place for camping, that won’t be the problem either.

St. Nicholas Beach is a hidden gem for those who appreciate the beauty of wild beaches. Nestled near the historic Fortress of St. Nicholas, which is recognized by UNESCO, this beach offers stunning views of both the fortress and the surrounding landscape, including the protected St. Anthony Channel. After enjoying a refreshing swim at this mildly wild beach, take a leisurely stroll along St. Anthony's Promenade to soak in more breathtaking scenery.
This is an off the beaten path near Šibenik with a huge area for families and nature seekers to come to swim or walk. There are some interesting old bunkers for kids to explore and a nice walkway from one island to the next and you can walk close to St Nicholas Fortress.

Enjoy the sound of the waves, the trees, the crickets and find yourself a quiet shady spot along the walk to base yourself and swim in the clear sea. Park at Sv Nikola and walk the path to Mineska beach. Beautiful spot. Very natural.

Thomas H — Google review
One of the best spots on the coast. Easy parking, lots of places to chill out with shade, nice warm water to swim in and good atmosphere. Lots of families. Bring supplies, no shops. Walk to the fortress via the "hidden" bridge.
Elliot M — Google review
Nice almost natural beach, with artificial pebble, but beautiful vegetation. Kids can enjoy the small playground. There's a parking with the shade.
Šafarek F — Google review
Went for a guided supping trip with friends here. Which in itself I greatly recommend for anyone active and who likes water. The beach was not to crowded and the parking spaces were plenty. Perhaps this is because it is somewhat more remotely located than other beaches in or around Sibenik. The waters feature several sights to see such as caves, an old Yugoslavian military bases, the entry point to a small shrine, and the 360 degree viewpoint from which you can see the entire city of Sibenik and it's canal. All in all a great experience and a recommendation.

Saint James’ Cathedral is a remarkable Gothic-Renaissance structure located in the heart of Sibenik's old town. The cathedral boasts over 70 sculpted heads on its facade and is considered one of Croatia's greatest architectural masterpieces. Built entirely of stone without any binding material, it showcases a blend of Gothic, Renaissance, and Gothic-Renaissance styles. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions like St.
Both inside and outside of the cathedral were impressive. Sunday mass was calming..71 sculpted faces adorning the side of the church was a rare finding for us... sitting down at a coffee shop. Amazing details of the faces...Dome was also magnificent...
TT O — Google review
Nice cathedral, great work by Juraj Dalmatinac but the 7 euros entrance fee is definitely too high..
Piotr M — Google review
Rising from the historic heart of Šibenik, the Cathedral of St. James is more than just a magnificent structure; it is a living testament to human faith, ingenuity, and spirit. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a sublime fusion of Gothic and Renaissance styles, a unique architectural masterpiece that tells a story not just of stone and mortar, but of the souls who shaped it. Crafted entirely from local limestone and marble, the cathedral stands as a tribute to the master builders who, across more than a century, meticulously brought their vision to life. Its most celebrated feature, the frieze of 71 sculpted human faces, each one unique, looks down upon the city with a quiet dignity. These are not merely decorative elements; they are the faces of the people—the merchants, the sailors, the artisans—who lived and breathed in this city, forever immortalized in stone. Each face seems to hold a secret, a memory, a silent prayer echoing through the ages. Inside, the light filters through the magnificent rose window, illuminating the intricate carvings and the hushed sanctity of the space. The absence of traditional building materials like wood or brick gives the interior a pure, almost ethereal quality. It is a space where the past feels palpable, where every arch and every column seems to whisper the names of those who stood there before, seeking solace, celebrating joy, and finding strength. The Cathedral of St. James is not just an architectural marvel; it is the spiritual and cultural anchor of Šibenik. To stand before it is to feel a connection to generations past, to appreciate the profound power of art, and to be reminded that the most enduring legacies are those built not just with hands, but with heart. It is a monument that speaks a universal language of beauty and devotion, a timeless beacon for all who seek inspiration.

One of the cathedrals that is worth the entrance fee (payable in cash). Though small, the baptistery is quite impressive. Outside the cathedral also holds many interesting details to look at. Take the brochure once inside the cathedral to read. Is well laid out information. The cathedral ticket comes with a free visit to Civitas Sacra museum (can skip unless you need find a place to escape the sun).

I visited on a weekday to avoid the larger crowds. The cathedral is one of the most significant and stunning architectural landmarks in Croatia. Since I wasn’t wearing the appropriate clothing (shorts), I chose not to enter out of respect, so I was only able to admire its exterior. Even so, the façade was breathtaking, and I look forward to returning someday to experience the interior as well. For photography enthusiasts, this spot is truly postcard-worthy.

Absolutely stunning, beautiful blend of gothic and renaissance architecture. I reccomend this and for art history lovers, and for people who just like to watch beautiful things. The heads on the fasade are just stunning!

The cathedral & the whole of Šibenik old town are stunning. Get there early or stay late to avoid the crowds. You won't regret it
Phil C — Google review
The must see in the cathedral is the small baptistery with carved ceiling. The 7€ entrance fee does also include the museum in a separate location. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to visit, so the fee is quite high. They only take cash too. They do provide a brochure in multiple languages so that you can do a self-guided tour, which is much better than many other cathedrals.

St. Michael's Fortress, located in the city center, is a restored medieval fort that offers guided tours and hosts various exhibits. It features an open-air summer stage with just over 1000 seats, making it an exclusive venue for cultural events and performances. The fortress, which served as a defense system in the past, provides stunning views of Sibenik and the Adriatic Sea from its upper courtyard.
If you ever come to Šibenik, you must visit the St. Michael's Fortress, absolutely awesome fortress above the old city with amazing views and of course great photo opportunities. The fortress has an open air theater and I wish to come back to enjoy one of the concerts during the summer season. Highly recommend to visit.
Tomislav P — Google review
There is not much to it as it's been modernised to make it more into a venue, I am sure it makes for a stunning venue for a close and personal performance and I would 100% go to an event here. But as a tourist location it really only offers a couple of nice views.
Wayne H — Google review
St. Michael’s Fortress offers breathtaking views over Šibenik, the sea, and nearby islands. The climb is well worth it, and the historic center below is full of charm with stone streets, lively squares, and beautiful architecture. Together they make a perfect mix of history, culture, and scenery.
G W — Google review
To be honest, the fact that this fortress has 9,000 reviews while the other two (Barone and Ivana) have just a fraction of that, I can only explain by remembering the lady selling the tickets. She was incredibly helpful, spoke perfect English, recommended other places to visit, and even helped us figure out how to get back to Vodice. As for the fortress itself, as a Czech, I didn’t find it particularly impressive. It’s nice, but I went through it in about 15 minutes, and realistically, I think it’s more of a top spot for a festival than a serious sightseeing destination. That said, for people who don’t plan to hike to the other two more interesting fortresses, this one is certainly satisfying enough.
Bruce W — Google review
Fantastic medieval fortress in the middle of the city, great views, awesome atmosphere! Rooftop had been turned to one of the greatest open air concert venues I have ever seen... Attended the last concert of Satriani/Vai band european tour there.

We bought the three-site ticket, which lets you explore Barone Fortress, St. John’s, and St. Michael’s. Each one is absolutely worth a visit if you want to dive into the fascinating history of Šibenik. My tip: start with Barone and St. John’s to get a feel for the city’s defenses, and then head up to St. Michael’s. From there, the views are stunning, and with so many restaurants nearby, it’s the perfect spot to slow down, enjoy a meal, and let the day fade out in true Dalmatian style.

I was at Roisin Murphy's concert here. The view from above is stunning. During the summer, you can attend concerts in the evening or visit the fortress during the day.

Perfect little spot for a great cup of coffee and delicious meals! ☺️ We had an amazing time not only touring the garden itself, but also enjoying the authentic atmosphere. If you're in Šibenik, I would definitely recommend visiting this place.
Dunja T — Google review
The garden is really sweet, a nice place to relax a bit under shadowing trees. The resturant is fitted nicely in the entrance of the garden and the staff friendly. Food is quite alright, but skip the smoothies. Simply lukewarm water with hardly any trace of the ingredients. Can't tell if it was a misshap or not, but not whort the 5.6 euros I paid. Recommend a visit though, the surroundings are charming, such a nice quiet place to eat and drink something a short way from busy streets.

Park
Aquapark Dalmatia, located at Solaris Beach Resort in Sibenik, is a vibrant aquatic playground suitable for families and thrill-seekers alike. As Croatia's oldest themed waterpark, it offers over 8,000 square meters of water-filled fun. The park features an array of attractions including slides, sprays, kids' pools, a lazy river, and the cascading Aqua Rain fortress.
Went to the indoor aquapark. The place is amazing. All the floors are heated, covered with some kind of ruubber foam in the pool areas so it is not slippery. 2 level dry playroom for kids above 3yo. Restaurant and caffee. The only thing lacking inside is a swimming pool. Since there is none, people swim in the lazy river
Lana O — Google review
It is a great water park for kids and grown ups. The outer part is huge and versatile. The kid loved the sliders and I found them very cool. My favorite was the Lazy River. I could float forever.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Give this review a thumbs up if you found it helpful 👍 Prices are not too high compared to what you usually expect in water or amusement parks – everything feels fair. There’s a great selection of food, ice creams, sunscreen and kids’ toys at the kiosks. The gym here really surprised me – it’s honestly one of the best I’ve ever seen in a water park or hotel: brand-new equipment, everything spotless, and it even smells like new. The waterslides are a lot of fun and the Lazy River is perfect for relaxing. The whole park is very clean, toilets are spotless, and hygiene is clearly a top priority. Overall, a really well-kept and enjoyable place – highly recommend!

A wonderful place for a family day out! I really enjoyed this water park, and the kids were absolutely thrilled. Everything was very clean, there were plenty of slides, and no smell of chlorine at all. The staff constantly kept the area tidy and clean. There’s convenient parking and a decent snack bar with hot dogs, fries, and burgers. A ticket for our family of four cost €140. The only small issue was finding a sunbed in the shade — not so easy later in the day. Luckily, we managed to find one without much trouble, so maybe we were just lucky. I believe if you arrive in the morning, you won’t have any problems finding a spot in the shade.
Alexander K — Google review
The price of the park is extremely high – €40 per person. On top of that, you have to pay for parking, which is also very expensive. You even need to pay for sunbeds. Food and drinks inside the park are also ridiculously overpriced. The cheapest option is a hot dog for €8 – and that’s without anything on the side. A small portion of fries with a small hamburger costs nearly €20 per person. That said, it is a beautiful park, and the pools are clean.
BegrijpbaarRecht — Google review
quite high price....but overall nice...for a whole day it's worth the money...but there are a few things that the administration of this complex should probably rectify...very few staff who speak another language besides the national languages...let's keep in mind that there are a lot of foreign tourists...I understand the notion of cleanliness but it's not good sense to go with a broom to pick up all the dust from below that settles on food placed on a counter for pick-up...
Valsan M — Google review
Great closed pool for smaller children, even for sunny days or windy weather. A bit poor choice of food for snacks. Prices ok regarding it's watter attraction site.
Alen V — Google review
1) This place was much, much too tame for my 12 and 15 year old girls. The slides are aimed at under tens and definitely not even for only slightly adventurous dads. The Lazy River could be better called The Stationary Canal. Their website doesn't really make that clear. If it had I wouldn't have booked. So now you know what to expect. It's why I only gave the place 3 stars. Judging by the amount of happy toddlers and small children though I can recommend it if you do have children under 10. There are indoor and outdoor slides and attractions depending on the weather and time of year. My children thought it was expensive at 40 euros/person. There are some other indoor 'wellness' and 'fitness' features that I was not interested in given I was there for my children. 2) The cheeseburger meal from the outside 'Fast Food Splash' restaurant was superb! The burger was perfectly cooked, fat and tasty and way above what I was expecting! Better than many 'proper' restaurants. Given what I got I was pleased with the price too. 3) I bought the tickets in advance online. The payment site debited my card but then said it couldn't process the payment and didn't send any email. Fortunately this was sorted in seconds on arrival by courteous staff. 4) Signs. It needs more signs to guide the day visitor. It's the only place of its type I've ever seen that doesn't have a huge colourful welcome sign at the open entrance. It's almost like they want you to be confused or uncertain! 5) When you finally get to the turnstile entrance to the waterpark they have nice yellow signs at knee height telling you which sensor/gate combination to use with your wristband entry key. However they are too low for the average adult to spot them when you are in front of the gate so you can use up your one entry with the wristband trying to open the wrong gate! I can't be the only one that stupid! 6) The place is very clean and tidy. Safety is clearly a priority. Everything is in good condition and there are plenty of staff. It wasn't very full on a weekday in mid June so I didn't really need to book online. Might be different during Croatian school holidays.

Aquarium Terrarium Šibenik is a small but diverse attraction housed in a traditional stone building near the cathedral. It offers an array of sealife, including tropical fish, octopus, sharks, lobsters, morays, and crabs. Visitors can also encounter reptiles such as tegu lizards from South America. The place is family-friendly and reasonably priced. Children can enjoy interacting with communicative lizards and fishes while learning about the different species.
Exellent place to spend 30-45 minutes with kids. Reasonably priced enterpreneurship (comparing to rip-off pricing at St Michaels castle), with taste of simple family approach. Most of reptiles (even fishes) have their own Name. Some of lizards and fishes are very communicable and willingly approaching for a contact. Kid's smile is priceless! Bravo!

The animals were all beautiful, most very interesting, but the aquarium itself is very small than we expected, we went through it all in less than 10 minutes. No glory, but when you are around you need to have kids to visit 🙌💁

It is very small place, but could be interesting for kids. Especially that it is only one this type of attraction in this area. Our 4-years old son was glad. For us it was very short rest (15 minutes) from sun, but it was also interesting to see some fish, snakes and lizards. But do not expect zoo, the number of animals is very little :).

Barone Fortress, a 17th-century stronghold perched on a hill above Sibenik, was constructed in just two months to protect the city from an impending Ottoman invasion. Following extensive restoration in 2016, the fortress now boasts a visitor's center and interactive exhibits using augmented reality technology to immerse visitors in its historical significance. Offering panoramic views of the old town and shoreline, this less-visited gem also features tourist facilities such as a museum, cafe, and toilets.
11.50 to enter. Spend 1.50 more for pass to all three fortresses. There is a cafe serving up drinks only, which is needed after the climb up. A combination of stairs and a road. But doable for anyone. Nice views of the city.

Listen up, folks – it’s a hell of a hike, but it’s totally worth it. The view is the second best (Ivanovova > Barone > Michaels), and there’s also a spot to grab a dessert, a coffee, or just cool off a bit. Kids will have fun too. That said, I still managed to walk through the entire fortress in about 10 minutes. I highly recommend bringing a bottle of water and an extra pair of legs.

Moshe S — Google review
READ CAREFULLY: I really don't understand the negative reviews. The fortress is not just about the view — which, by the way, is beautiful — but also offers a much deeper experience. If people took a moment to read, they'd realize that the ticket includes a free AR (augmented reality) experience using tablets provided on-site. These explain the history in a fun and interactive way, with lots of interesting facts. It’s a very pleasant place to visit, and there’s free parking available, which is a big plus. Tip: Get the family ticket or, for just €1.50 more, the combined ticket for all three fortresses — the other sites also offer great experiences. People should really inform themselves better before leaving bad reviews.

Great place to visit if you are near Šibenik. Very nice and friendly staff, comfortable cafe just inside the place with local brewery. Don't forget to take an interactive augmented reality tour and listen to the history of the place, it's quite creative. The view from the place is amazing. You can see both the seaside and the city. Parking for the visitors is free and right near the fortress walls, but be careful driving uphill - the road is a bit stiff and narrow, some cars might be moving in the opposite direction at the same time

St. John's Fortress, also known as Tanaja, is a significant historical site in Sibenik, Croatia. Built in 1646 by locals in just 58 days to protect the city from Turkish attacks, it stands on a hill overlooking the area. The fortress was named after a medieval church dedicated to St. John that previously occupied the site for centuries. Adjacent to Barone Fortress and close to St.
Amazing view in front of the entrance. I think this fortress is the best among three fortresses (Barone, St. John's, St.Michael). I truly recommend to visit this place just before sunset. Entrance fee is 11.5 euros for adults, including entrance to Barone fortress. But you can visit three fortresses for 13 euros. There are also a large free parking lot.

Campground
Amadria Park Camping Šibenik, located in Sibenik, is a family-friendly destination with attractions like AquaPark Sibenik and the nearby Krka National Park. The resort offers various amenities including multiple beaches, restaurants, beach bars, and water activities. Accommodation options such as mobile homes are recommended for families. While some visitors find the prices high, many appreciate the beautiful views and well-maintained facilities at this campsite.
We had such a wonderful stay at this camping park! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who made us feel so welcome and at home. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to chat or lend a hand if you need anything. The grounds are beautifully kept, with stunning views that make every morning and evening feel magical. Everything is clean, well organized, and thoughtfully arranged for guests. You can really tell how much care and pride goes into running this place. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and lovely camping experience!
Oliver T — Google review
This review refers exclusively to the mobile homes in Amadria Park Šibenik– I do not recommend them at all. Cleanliness was excellent – everything else was a major disappointment. Prices are too high, and almost everything comes at an additional cost – from the water park and sunbeds to even the most basic amenities. A mobile home for 6 was equipped for 4 – no cutting board, dish towel, or other basic kitchen essentials. The location is remote, and camping pitches clearly have priority. Our request to be placed near friends was completely ignored. The photos online are misleading – they show many facilities you either cannot use at all or can only use for an extra (and steep) fee. The pool featured in the ads is actually an old, worn-out small children’s pool, far from what you would expect from the promotional materials. Housekeeping ladies were kind, as were the foreign seasonal workers. Everyone else did not even greet us – no welcome upon arrival, no “goodbye” when leaving. Management should consider customer service training, as the service overall was disappointing. The promenade is long and beautiful, and the resort does have potential – but unless you are in the premium homes, you will pay far too much for very little in return.
Sveky — Google review
It is allowed to park cars next to your pitch, which means that on the seafront pitches, cars are parked right at the front, and other guests end up looking at cars instead of the view. A speed limit of 20 km/h on the campsite is too high. The swimming pool is too small and contains salt water. The reception dismisses feedback and acts as if nothing is wrong. If you think you’re alone in the world, this is the perfect campsite! The area is great for boating, with lots of lovely bays to snorkel and explore.
Jeremayah V — Google review
Camping – a total disappointment. The toilets are dirty, the water in the toilet bowl doesn’t flush properly, so there are always remains of paper inside. Cobwebs everywhere, dead insects and hair still on the sinks even until 11 a.m. People are already awake before 8, but the toilets aren’t cleaned until 11. It smells of urine even in the shower areas, and when you brush your teeth you can smell the stench. In the evening, there is no hot water left at all! One sink in the women’s bathroom is leaking, so the floor is wet. Yet you have to pay for very, very expensive pitches, considering the cleanliness and the fact that you don’t even get hot water. The campsite overall is very beautiful, but the toilets have been the same for 20 years, never renovated. In other campsites across Croatia, they are tidy, clean, and renovated, really beautiful. But this one is old and dirty. It seems that the prices for the plots in the campsite are not clearly defined, as in the end the amount to be paid is higher than expected. A very expensive campsite for what you actually get.
Nastja K — Google review
We had the best time for two nights in the park from 5.9. It’s not only the service, cleanliness, location, amenities, facilities and much more. It’s about the interactivity and personal touch just like with Lucia who accepted us on the first day and Ivan and Lucia who checked us out on the last day. Their approach, knowledge and language capabilities simply made the difference. Well done Amadria, Lucia, Ivan, the young polite guy in the entrance and all the rest. We WILL be back …
Eli L — Google review
A well positioned campsite with a beautiful beach and shaded camping spots. We paid for the premium camp site and were disappointed when there wasn't enough power outlets for us. When we complained to the management they asked me to speak with the other campers to help me. I told him that's unacceptable and we shouldn't have to do this, so he tried to do this on our behalf. Overall this experience started out holiday off badly but the rest of the site and facilities were great.

A nice park but a bit noisy and fairly expensive - especially on-site bar, restaurant and ice creams. The site is right on the beach (stoney), which is nice. The pool is good but quite small for the size of the camp and gets busy. The shop is quite good and prices are reasonable. A nice but not great site. If the location suits you it is worth looking at.

St. Nicholas Fortress is a 16th-century fortress located on the small island of Ljuljevac, at the entrance to St. Anthony's Channel near Sibenik. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built as a defense system against Turkish attacks from the sea. The fortress offers an intriguing glimpse into its historical significance and architectural design by Venetian builder Hyeronimus di San Michaela.

An interesting place and worth a visit for the fort and for the nice walks in the area. The disappointment with the fort is that entry is barred. There used to be a stone causeway leading from the small island, but this has washed away. However, the water is only about 300mm deep, so it's a quick and easy walk across if you don't mind wet feet. There is still scaffolding in place where you would once have been able to get into the fort through a hole in the wall, originally intended as a gun port. Sadly, this hole has been blocked up.

(Translated by Google) I don't quite understand the great reviews. People don't go there just for the view. Unfortunately, there isn't much else to see for the price of the entrance fee. We were expecting more based on the positive reviews. But we only had a ticket for St. Michael's and thought that would be the main attraction. It's better to get the 3-ticket combo; it's only a few euros more, and maybe you'll get more out of it.

Zvizda Beach is a hidden gem located at the mouth of the Krka river in Zaton bay. This unassuming beach offers basic amenities such as toilets and changing booths, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful escape from the summer crowds. The beach is surrounded by a pine tree forest, providing natural shade and creating a tranquil atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the blend of sea and river water.
Very nice public beach place in Zaton. A small bar by the water with music and many options to refreshment. View on the Zaton Marina and surroundings. 5min walk from Zaton Center, 10 mins by car form the highway.

Glorious spot for a swim on a sweltering summer day. Water too warm to refresh? Then use one of the freshwater baths next to the path!

(Translated by Google) A beautiful, neat and clean beach that is never crowded. There is a lot of shade in the pine forest and a beach bar that is open all day during the season. The sea is a degree colder because there is a water source on the beach. Right next to the beach is a free parking lot and a mobile toilet. (Original) Lijepa, uredna i čita plaža na kojoj nikada nema gužve. U borovoj šumi ima puno hlada i beach bar koji u sezoni radi cijeli dan. The Hosts are super friendly and warm people. The Appartement is very clean and has everything what you need and more!;) The pool was great and private. We felt super relaxed and like home. The fig three on the garden was my every morning highlight. We also book a day tour with Vojislav boat and it was an awesome experience and day. He showed us around, silence bays, small island village, snorkelling, stand up paddle, and also swimm stuff for our baby to take her into the sea. Highly recommended that Appartement and the boat tours!!!! The location is close to Krka falls, Sibenik city and lots of other attractions 5 stars

Jadrija Beach, located near Sibenik, is a historic coastal spot surrounded by pine forests and the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.
