Burnham Park is a sprawling urban oasis in Baguio, known as the summer capital of the Philippines. The park features a manmade lake, gardens, and a grandstand for special events. Visitors can enjoy activities such as renting boats or bikes, skating at the rink, and indulging in local treats like strawberry or ube taho. It's one of the must-visit tourist spots in Baguio along with Mines View Park, Session Road, and the Valley of Colors.
Burnham Park is the vibrant heart of Baguio, offering a lively park experience from day till night. By day, the atmosphere can be peaceful and tranquil, perfect for a relaxing escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The iconic man-made lake at the center of the park is a major draw, where visitors can enjoy leisurely boat rides in rowboats or swan-shaped paddle boats. I think most of the boats cost 200 pesos for 30 minutes. Even if you're going solo or with a group, it's fun to row around the lake. Beyond the lake, the park buzzes with life. You can rent bicycles of all kinds, from single bikes to tandem bikes, and pedal along the designated paths. The open spaces are ideal for a picnic, jogging, or simply strolling through the beautiful Rose Garden and other landscaped areas. At night, the park’s ambiance transforms. A portion of Harrison Road, adjacent to the park, closes to traffic and becomes the famous Baguio Night Market. The area fills with stalls selling a vast assortment of goods, from thrifted clothes and souvenirs to local handicrafts. It's a bustling hub for bargain hunters. The air also fills with the delicious aromas of various street foods, making the night market a must-visit for a lively culinary adventure. The park's dynamic nature ensures there's something to enjoy from morning till late evening.

It was a great place where you can just stroll or sit and admire the view. There are also various activities to do in the area such as bikes, boats, and skates. You won't have to worry about food as well since there are various stalls for different kinds of food. There is also a small cafe within the area. The good thing also is that they have a public restroom.

A place we visit regularly... the kids playground is nice for energetic little ones, while the lake and its surrounding park are great for more relaxing walks. If you have time, and the energy, rent one of the 3 person bikes (yes, my wife and 2 boys fit in the bench seat just fine).
Lee C — Google review
20251019 - huge park which is nice to walk in the cool weather. There is go kart which can be rented to cycle in a roundabout. In case it rains, there is also an indoor park that you can enjoy bumper car, pirate ship, carousel, skating rink. Good place to hangout during weekend.

CLAN McCRA APPROVED!!! We had a great time here. The swan paddle boat was so much fun. But I would recommend getting the boat with the dual paddle wheel. We lost a race to that one (it is fast) we were in a swan boat. YouTube videos @ClanMccraAdventures If you’re hungry go to Kubo Grill 2 blocks away.

Burnham Park is a must-visit spot in Baguio! 🌸 The atmosphere is relaxing, with beautiful gardens, a serene lake for boating, and plenty of space for picnics or biking. It’s perfect for families, couples, and anyone who wants to unwind and enjoy nature in the city.

Location & ambiance: The park sits right in the heart of Baguio City, making it easily accessible from hotels, restaurants and commercial areas. You’ll find a mixture of lush pine trees, open lawns and a central lake that gives the place a relaxed, “escape-city” feel.
Gerald E — Google review
Burnham Park’s Bike Park area in Baguio is a delightful way to explore the scenic grounds on two wheels. For just ₱70, you can rent a bike for 30 minutes perfect for a quick, fun ride around the pond and gardens. The path is well-paved, flat, and safe, making it ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers. Along the way, you’ll pass fragrant pine trees, vibrant flowerbeds, and people enjoying the outdoors. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with street vendors nearby offering snacks like taho and ice cream. It’s also stroller-friendly if you’re with small kids. The rental process is straightforward just present ID, pay the fee, and you’re off! In busy periods, queues can form, but they move quickly. Whether you’re a casual rider or just want a charming way to tour Burnham Park, this bike rental experience is affordable, enjoyable, and showcases the park’s lush beauty and cheerful ambiance.

Nestled in the northern highlands, the BenCab Museum is a haven for art enthusiasts and culture aficionados alike. Showcasing an extensive collection of artworks by Benedicto Cabrera and other esteemed Filipino artists, this 12-gallery sanctuary also features indigenous exhibits from the Cordilleras. The museum's commitment to promoting arts and preserving the environment and traditions of the region is evident throughout its displays.
One of the best museums I've been to and perhaps the best museum in the Cordillera Region. The place is also trendy and usually a lot of visitors on weekends. It has a cafe at the lower ground level adjacent to a beautiful garden.

Great place to see art from traditional to modern visual art. I wish they would provide museum tour so I can learn more about the art. I’ll be back for the eco trail :) Not accessible for wheelchair since the elevators are not working.
Pamela A — Google review
Explored the area with young adults. I would have soaked in more at the gazebo below the museum if we had time. You can easily finish the place in a breeze. Overall, I think the ticket price is reasonable in order to maintain the museum. There’s cafe also at the basement. Would love to see this place expand since it embodies the culture of the cordillera people.

BenCab Museum is still a must visit when in Baguio after all these years ✨❤️ there is a new exhibition too which was great. All the other pieces from different Filipino artists and Bencab if course, are so incredible. It’s P200 fee to get in. Totally worth it! The outdoor area is also great and worth seeing. Wonderful and impressive art pieces by Filipino artists 😍

What an incredible experience at the BenCab Museum today! 🤩 The art, the ambiance, and especially our fantastic tour guide made it such a memorable visit. Seriously, our guide was brilliant – super knowledgeable and made the whole walk through the museum so engaging. We learned so much! It was such a chill and inspiring walk, and honestly, the perfect backdrop for some selfies. 🤳 Just a heads-up for future visitors: be prepared for some seriously erotic art that might make you blush! 😉 My camera almost did a double-take at a few pieces. 😂 All in all, a must-visit in Tuba, Cordillera Administrative Region! #BenCabMuseum #ArtReview #TourGuideGoals #PhilippineArt #MuseumAdventures #Cordillera #SelfieSpot #EroticArtAlert #BlushWorthy #TravelPH #CultureTrip #ArtLover #HighlyRecommend 🎨🚶‍♀️✨

A bit far from the city center. Going there is easy, but going back mahirap, less taxi and jeep. Better if may sariling car. There's something about the museum that would stir your emotions and appreciation about art. I'm not a fan of galleries or museums in general, but I was in awe of some of the pieces.

A Peaceful & Artsy Escape at BenCab Museum Visited BenCab Museum earlier today with my friends and it was such a refreshing experience! The blend of nature and art is just perfect—every corner of the museum feels like a photo-worthy moment. We especially loved the serene garden area with its statues and lush greenery (yes, we had to take pics on the grass!). The museum itself showcases a mix of contemporary and indigenous Filipino art, which we found both inspiring and educational. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who appreciates culture and creativity. Museum entrance: Php200 Food price range: Php 300+ - 500 We also had lunch at their café—great food, cozy ambiance, and a stunning view of the mountains. The prices are a bit higher compared to restaurants in Baguio city proper, but the quality and atmosphere make it worth it. All in all, it was a lovely day filled with art, nature, and laughter. Highly recommended for a chill Baguio side trip!

Nestled in the hills of Baguio, Tam-awan Village is a reconstructed Cordillera village that offers a glimpse into traditional culture and art. The village features traditional huts, cultural information, and an art gallery showcasing works by local artists. Visitors can explore boutiques offering traditional woven items, textiles, woodwork, and paintings while taking in the lush surroundings.
Why come here: 1. Tam-awan Village is just nearby Stone Kingdom. Before or after visiting the Stone Kingdom which is often crowded, you can enjoy a more realistic mountain dwellers village. 2. This tourist spot showcases different types of village huts, beliefs, traditions and rituals of the mountain people. There is also a mini museum which displays paintings, figures and artifacts. 3. You can also enter one of the huts, but you have to observe the rules. A group of dancers wearing traditional Igorot clothing performs traditional dances for the tourists. The entrance fee is 100 pesos as of dec 2024 for adults it might change today. You have to climb and trek uphill to explore the village. The village is a forest itself and the steps are a bit slippery so be careful trodding uphill or downhill. You can enjoy the nature vibe while learning about the history and culture of the Igorots.

Must visit in Baguio City! Immerse yourself with the local arts scene and the indigenous way of living all in one place. Plus, they have a massive garden with a short hiking trail through the mountain side filled with different artworks along the route.
Kurt — Google review
Could have been a better experience if there were attendants ushering guest coming in. The place needs to be maintained more. There were unnecessary clutter in the stops. Hoping they could get more funds to fix the place up. It's a small park and it would have been nice to understand what it's all about but no one was there to explain. Visitors come there from quite a distance hoping to get an idea of the past local history and I was dismayed that I wasn't able to make my daughter learn anything from the visit. Hoping that others have a better experience. Wear mosquito repellant please. Parking: road side. Better not come on a weekend.
RMP R — Google review
It was a nice experience for a 100 peso ticket entrance. A few huts while hiking to almost the top that depicts how it was back then. A glimpse into the past and a taste of culture. It was also nice to see young people dancing traditional dances.
Goldee M — Google review
We visited October 2025 and the rate was 2.5cad per pax. You cannot miss this village if you are going to Baguio/Benguet since they feature their cultural heritage and understand them.
Cm C — Google review
Not a good place to bring people without good balance as stairs are covered in algae and very slippery. It's pretty much a few palm leaf roof huts from different areas, a few places for local art works (some not very appropriate), and a small cafe.
Christopher M — Google review
I had visited the Village about 10 years ago. Visited it last Friday. It is not well maintained. I do not recommend it for seniors as the climb is quite taxing. All the native huts were closed and locked. I do not see anything that tells me it is an artists' village.
Peter C — Google review
Our country is very rich in culture! I once visited Tam awan long ago and vowed to return with my kids... and so I did! :) Tam-awan Village takes you to glimpse an era way before high technology, giving you an idea how our ancestors did it before. The huts, the scenery, and a lot more of history! A must to visit. :) They also have a pasalubong store and I can say that it's one of the cheap area to buy pasalubong (handicrafts). They have restaurant too which serves fresh delectable food!

Perched atop Mount Mary Hill in Baguio City, the Baguio Cathedral of Our Lady of the Atonement, also known as Lady of Atonement Cathedral, is a significant religious and historical landmark. Its striking pink façade and Neo-Gothic architecture with twin spires make it an iconic symbol in the city. The cathedral offers breathtaking panoramic views of Session Road and the city below, making it a peaceful place for reflection.
Baguio’s cool air always feels like a reset—but this Sunday, standing before the Baguio Cathedral, it felt like more than that. It was church #21 out of our 52 for the year, and this one stopped us in our tracks. The twin spires rising above Session Road, the soft pink façade, and the sweeping steps leading up—it looked like a postcard. But once inside, it was the silence that got me. Amid the stained glass and hushed prayers, my wife and I watched our three girls light candles beneath the statue of Our Lady of Atonement. They didn’t speak. They just stood in stillness—rare, beautiful stillness. For a dad, moments like that linger. This cathedral wasn’t just impressive—it was calming. It reminded me that amid our noisy schedules and long drives, grace still finds us in quiet corners. Church #21 left a mark. Not just because of how it looked, but because of how it made us feel: grateful, grounded, and just a little more whole.

Such a nice place to stop by when you visit Baguio. A place where you can pray and thank God for all the blessings and for the safe trip. It has parking spaces but I’m pretty it’ll still be hard for you to get a slot cause I noticed that even on weekdays, parking area is still full. It’s near Session Rd. and a lot of taxis are roaming around the area in case you’re just commuting. Lots of cafes and foodstall next to it as well. Steep so expect you’ll get tired if you’re walking from Session Rd. I recommend you try the steep stairs going to the Cathedral for the experience. 😊 It’s next to Il Padrino along Session Rd.
Jenny M — Google review
Visited the Baguio Cathedral on a Sunday and it was a beautiful experience. The church was very crowded during Mass, and getting a seat wasn’t guaranteed unless you arrived early. I recommend coming as early as possible if you plan to attend Mass. If you’re just visiting to pray or appreciate the place, you can come at any time. The cathedral is peaceful, stunning, and definitely worth a visit when you’re in Baguio.
Gracia G — Google review
As a foreigner, I think this is one of the most beautiful looking church I’ve seen in philippines. Even more than those in Manila. Not only how nice it looks from the outside, but the inside too. It was quite hard to reached here from the side (the steep stairs from session road) but once I’m here, I loved it. I can understand how is this place becoming such an iconic landmark of Baguio City. And turns out, many locals are coming here by cars so not everyone had to climbing the stairs.

A church where you can pray and light candles. You may visit anytime, a good place to talk with God and at the same time to calm your self from all your worries. White and red candles are available. There is also a chapel. They also have a food court and near porta vaga’s entrance

Walking distance of 400 to 500 meters from Mines View Park. But they have a few parking slots inside. Went quite early so no queue! Strawberry jam was unavailable so tried other products I am not familiar with. Became a fan of their ube flakes and ube crinkles.

Every time we go to Baguio it is a must to visit the Good Shepherd to buy the ube jam. We go there on weekdays, that is one of the good decisions that we had because of less tourists. As of this writing, ube jam cost php 350 with limit of 2 bottles per person
Harold C — Google review
Snowballs is their best product!!!! Next is the ube jam. Can't miss this place whenever I'm in the city of pines. No lines on weekdays
Armi S — Google review
Get your Ube jam here as this is the official outlet. Freshest stock at the lowest price compared to resellers. Although expect long lines during peak hours and it is recommended to go morning time. Parking is being actively managed/monitored by helpful guards and its mostly park-shop-and-go in around 15mins or so.

Me and family have been going to good shepherd when i was young. Now that i have a family of my own… we also go here for all of their products especially ube jam. But during weekends and holidays, there so many people… surprisingly when we went on a Monday and no holiday… the ube jam was unavailable. Oh note, compared to when i was younger, they now have a great view of the mine…

Parking: You will struggle on parking starting by noon time, where people starts to go here Restroom/ Washing Area: Yes they have Ambiance: Currently on renovation, thus I can say much Cleanliness: n/a Price : I can say worth the price 😅👌 Menu Range: Stocks are limited, so I recommend to ge here early in the morning. When we went here around noon, items were almost sold out Taste: good Staff: good Remarks: Lets wait for the renovation to completed and lets see if theres improvements. Many peps still choose to go in long line for thier authentic products such as ube jams. But I gotta warn you that you can only bought 3 jar (per person) due to limited stocks.
JOHN M — Google review
The place to buy the best ube jam in Baguio. They have other selections like Kalinga coffee, lengua de gato, peanut brittle (filled up inside, not just the outside), and so much more. The venue is actually very nice with a good view of the mine's view valley and a mini-park for the station of the cross. It's quite organized now given the number of people buying their goodies and plenty of available parking space. And btw, that's a rainbow tree by the men's CR outside for those who haven't seen one in person 😆

Nestled on the hills at the border of Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet, Bell Church is a charming Buddhist temple that serves as a hub for cultural and religious activities of the Filipino-Chinese community. Established in 1960 by Chinese immigrants, this enchanting temple showcases Taoist architecture with towering pagodas, lotus ponds, and lion statues. Bell church (from the point of view of a tourist) was far from Strawberry Farm. Via google, it says it is too close but it is not. Ride a jeepney or taxi so you can conserve your energy.

I paid 20 pesos for the entrance fee. Overall, the place is great with such vibrant colors and a must-visit for tourists. I will surely come back once I have more time to stay in Baguio.

Bell Church is a peaceful and culturally rich spot blending Chinese and Filipino heritage. The ornate architecture, dragon statues, and serene gardens create a spiritual vibe. Great place to reflect, take photos, and learn about Chinese beliefs and traditions in Baguio.

Just a ride away, the Bell Church offers rest and escape from the crowded strawberry farm. I had the best view of valley houses from the top.

Entrance fee is only 20 pesos each. It was fun but also tiring because we had to go upstairs to see more of it. One visit is enough here.

This was the nearest attraction near the event we attended at Magsaysay Avenue. It was a nice find that I chanced upon. I have been to Baguio several times but my first time to visit here. I paid 20 pesos for the entrance fee which was the rate per person and another 20 pesos for the parking fee. I went up flights of stairs to see the big bell, the shrines/gazebo and the pagodas. The view from the top was so nice too. The Buddhist church is well- maintained and flowers were in bloom when I was there. Met foreign tourists as well as locals and a group of students from Camarines . I had fun wandering alone.

Wright Park is a lovely place for a leisurely walk among pine trees and flowers. Even on a damp, misty day, it was a delight. There are many friendly souvenir vendors at the top of the hill.

We visited Wright Park in Baguio and it was a fun and relaxing stop during our trip. The place is well known for horseback riding, and my kids really enjoyed the experience. The horses are well kept, and there were plenty of guides around to assist, which made it easier for first timers. The area itself is spacious with lots of greenery, so it felt refreshing to just walk around and take in the cool Baguio air. The long pool and pine trees made for nice photo spots too. It does get a little crowded, especially on weekends, but that’s expected for a popular tourist spot. What I liked most was how the park captures that classic Baguio feel, simple, family friendly, and a bit nostalgic. It could use a bit more maintenance in some areas, but overall it was an enjoyable visit. Overall rating: 4/5. A nice place to bring family and kids when in Baguio.

Night market
Baguio Night Market, located near Burnham Park along Harrison Road, is a bustling outdoor market open until 4 AM. It offers a wide range of products including clothing, crafts, and secondhand items. Visitors can also enjoy street food such as kwek-kwek and barbecue from the food stalls. The market is known for its ukay-ukay wonderland with hundreds of stalls selling various products.
We visited around 10 PM, and even at that hour, the place was already bustling with people. It was during the first week of July when we came, and the weather added a cozy atmosphere—it had been raining on and off throughout the day, and by nightfall, it was quite foggy with occasional light rain showers. Despite the weather, the area was lively and vibrant. There were plenty of food stalls offering a wide variety of options—from classic street food to local favorites—making it a great spot for late-night cravings. We also spotted several thrift stalls with interesting and affordable finds, perfect for those who love bargain hunting. The overall vibe felt festive and local, and the mix of food, shopping, and people made the experience enjoyable. Just make sure to bring an umbrella or jacket if you’re visiting during the rainy season, as the weather can be unpredictable. This place is definitely worth a visit if you want to experience Baguio’s night scene, especially if you’re up for food-tripping and a bit of shopping.

The famous night market along Harrison Road. The street was completely closed off to vehicles and packed with rows upon rows of stalls lit by bright lights. It was a shopper's paradise with stalls selling everything from shirts, shoes and bags to jeans and all kinds of ready to wear items while all prices far cheaper than the big malls. The place was so crowded with both tourists and locals that police officers were visibly present along the stretch and they calmly ensured that everyone stayed peaceful and in order. It was the perfect and lively end to an unforgettable tiring day on our first night in the city of pines last week.

20251018 - busy and crowded night market that opens at 9 pm and has many stalls that sells many varieties of food, clothes, accessories. Clothes are very cheap as mostly are 2nd hand and in some shops, you can still bargain for discounts. Bought a new short for 200 php. Worthwhile to come to experience food and shopping in the cool weather.

From clothing and accessories to unexpected finds you didn't know you needed, the Baguio Night Market is always a fun place to stop for affordable finds. The whole experience is made more memorable by strolling around in the refreshing Baguio weather, even though the food stands are only passably good. An excellent location for shopping, strolling, and taking in the vibrant nightlife of the city.

Jampacked from 9-midnight. It was a very great experience especially for my daughter. There were a lot of branded ukays and there were brand new too. Majority of the jackets are so cheap but branded, unfortunately, my home city is so humid that we cannot use those jackets anymore if we bring it home.

It's nice to wander around and enjoy the weather, there are many delicious foods that give good vibes, especially when you're out sightseeing, there are also cheap clothes to buy, if you hit the jackpot, you can get original second-hand but expensive clothes and shoes, try them too, you won't regret it

We had two nights and spent it here. You can buy souvenirs and our tip is before buying you must haggle and ask prices from other shops for comparison. We bought a wallet for 300 pesos and when ask to other stall, the price is just 200pesos. So better ask many stalls since they price differently. We bought also some keychains and had our strawberry taho at night. Some other souvenirs you can buy are rugs, comforter, jackets, wood craft, and etc.

What a beautiful and well-maintained park 💗 We enjoyed our time here even though it was raining a lot. There are a lor of bathrooms and places to stay and eat. We enjoyed coffee by the cafe near the entrance of the park. Wear comfortable shoes since it’s also an eco trail (with pavement). I was with seniors so it took us about 2 hours to go around the park and it was raining too so we had breaks.

The place is enormous! Be ready to walk and slightly hike (optional). This place is best for people who are interested in flora. You can explore all you can. There is no time limit, we stayed the whole day. On top of that, you can buy food, coffee, and plants inside. 4-star because the entrance fee could still be lower. 100 pesos per head may not be affordable, especially for bigger groups.

There is a parking area. If you plan to go around 4pm-6pm, apply anti-mosquito. The place is pretty much open to all, just follow the signages and everything is great. They also sell some ornamental plants and other souvenir. A great place to enjoy the scenery of flowers and plants. Would come back again when in Baguio.

Our visit to Baguio Botanical Garden was a refreshing escape into nature! The moment we entered, we were greeted with the cool Baguio breeze and the calming scent of pine trees and blooming flowers. The garden has definitely improved over the years — it’s cleaner, more organized, and more scenic! There are beautiful walking paths, photo spots, and cultural displays that highlight the rich heritage of the Cordilleras. We loved the native huts and Igorot statues — very educational for the kids and a great photo opportunity for the whole family. It’s also nice that there are shaded areas to rest and clean comfort rooms available. Entrance fee is very affordable, making it a great spot for budget-friendly family bonding. Don’t forget to try the street food and souvenir stalls outside too! Overall, a must-visit when you’re in Baguio — perfect for nature lovers, families, and those looking for peaceful moments in the city of pines. 🌲💚

The ₱100 entrance fee was totally worth it! The student discount is only for Baguio locals, though. The place is absolutely beautiful, there’s so much to see! It almost feels like you’ve traveled to different countries because of how amazing it is, with Thai, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and many more themed areas. The Japanese tunnel was super interesting, but it smelled so bad, a mix of poop and pee! 😂 That kind of ruined the vibe a bit, haha! But overall, it was super fun. It’s just a bit sad that we didn’t get to visit the botanical part because it started raining. Hahaha!

Very beautiful. They were doing renovations to some of the sights when I was there getting ready for Christmas. The entry fee was cheap and you can easily spend a few hours there. All the vendor stuff is relegated to the last 100 yards of the exit.

Nestled in the heart of Baguio City, the Baguio Museum is a captivating repository of historical artifacts and cultural treasures. The museum's collection showcases a diverse array of displays and artifacts that offer insight into the local indigenous groups and the city's rich history. From antique musical instruments to traditional Filipino clothing, visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant culture depicted through paintings and interactive exhibits.
The Baguio Museum is an absolute gem! This expertly curated museum offers an unparalleled glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of the Cordillera region. The carefully selected artifacts and thoughtful displays provide a comprehensive and engaging overview of the area’s history and traditions. The staff’s exceptional kindness and attentiveness truly enhanced our visit, offering personalized guidance that brought the exhibits to life. Without a doubt, this museum stands out as one of the finest we’ve experienced in the Philippines, making it a must-visit destination in Baguio. Highly recommended for an enriching and memorable cultural experience!

The Baguio Museum is definitely an awesome place to go to in Baguio for sure. Not only is it close to Burnham, it's also a very informative museum about the Cordilleras. Teaches you about the origins of the areas, traditions, cultures, and life in general since the beginning of settlement. Definitely would recommend!
Regina M — Google review
I just walk my way here from Burnham Park. It's not that far. Entrance fee for an adult is 100 pesos. My visit to the Baguio Museum was an impressive experience. Its my first time seeing an authentic mummified body of a human. More of that later. While the entire museum offers a deep and fascinating look into the history and culture of the Cordillera region, what truly captivated me were the incredible dioramas. I was so impressed by the meticulous attention to detail they put into the miniature people and their surroundings. Each tiny figure was expertly crafted, bringing scenes of indigenous life, tradition, and historical moments to life in a way that was both engaging and visually stunning. It’s no exaggeration to say these are some of the best miniatures I have ever seen in a museum. The museum also features a compelling mummy exhibit. This is one of the highlights of the museum's collection, and they are very strict about its preservation. Visitors are reminded that taking photos or videos of the mummy exhibit is strictly prohibited, which helps maintain the respect and integrity of the display. This combination of detailed art and powerful history makes the Baguio Museum a truly must-visit destination.

Located at the heart of the city (near SM Baguio Mall), Baguio Museum (entrance fee: ₱100) is a small museum that makes for a good introduction to the history of Baguio, and the indigenous cultures of the Cordillera region, filled with various ethnographic artifacts, such as clothing, tools, and religious items. The most unique and interesting artifact on display is a centuries-old Ibaloi fire mummy (Visitors are NOT allowed to take photos and/or videos of the mummy, out of respect for the deceased.) On the upper floor, there are scale models on the floor showing how Baguio has grown over the century. I highly recommend visiting this museum together with Museo Kordilyera, another ethnographic museum nearby, located within the University of the Philippines Baguio campus.

We are lucky that the special exhibit from June to July happens to be Kidlat Tahimik's works featured internationally. We enjoyed the museum but we hoped that there is somebody giving a tour. The museum can get a little loud from the staff chatting happily with each other. The museum has four floors. There is no lift. i noticed a senior citizen guest who had to take a break going up to the third floor. The museum is packed with the history of Baguio City and the Cordilleran provinces. They have an actual mummy in this museum which you cannot take a photo of. This is a non-profit organization and not government-owned but for a P100 entrance fee it is a must see place when you're here in Baguio. There is limited parking in front of the museum but it is free. if there's one thing I hope they improve is the state of their gift shop. The board members and Baguio have a wealth of artists but the state of their gift shop is just disappointing. I hope they could offer at least post-cards from the old Baguio time.

There's entrance fee upon entering the Baguio Museum and there's space for car parking. The Museum is full of artifacts from different region of CAR(Cordillera Administrative Region) and a mummy. Cultural learnings and educational tour which is applicable especially to students and tourists. The Baguio Museum shows the values , culture and ethnicity of people in CAR region. It shows also the progress of Baguio from past to present time and the rulers, Mayors of Baguio.

Valley of Colors is a vibrant and massive artwork consisting of a cluster of hillside homes painted in bold, rainbow colors. Located in Barangay Balili near Baguio City, this community artwork covers a vast area and was created by local artists with the help of over 500 volunteers. Visitors can climb a mountain for an even better view of this unique space, perfect for striking photo opportunities.
Upon arriving, just need to register & give a donation if you can then you can start taking pictures & enjoying the view. No real parking but you don’t really spend too long so most people just park at the side with the hazard lights on. There’s a viewpoint & a little bridge where you can take photos. Best not to spend too long at the bridge so as not to inconvenience local people living in the area.
S. C — Google review
My visit to the Valley of Colors in La Trinidad was a real treat for the eyes. I was absolutely amazed by the sight of all the vibrant houses painted in a beautiful mosaic of different colors. The entire hillside is a color frenzy that you won't get to see everyday. I loved the unique and eccentric architecture of the homes, which all came together to form one giant, living art installation. Seeing this for the first time is such a bizarre experience. It is just one jeepney away from Baguio City, as every jeep that will go to La Trinidad will surely pass this area. Another cool part of the experience was crossing the hanging bridge, which connects the colorful community to the main road. It's a great spot for taking photos and getting a wider view of the painted houses. It's important to remember that the Valley of Colors is a real, active community with people living there. It's not just a tourist attraction. We should always be mindful and respectful of the residents and their homes as we enjoy the view and take pictures. Don't leave any trash behind. The vibrant beauty of the place is made even better by the community that calls it home.
Besinga, P — Google review
Giving the Valley of Colors a three-star rating because while the vibrant hillside houses are certainly a unique and visually arresting spectacle, the overall visitor experience is marred by significant practical issues, particularly for those arriving by private vehicle. The view itself, a massive, stunning canvas of brightly painted homes cascading down the slope, is a testament to community artistry and is definitely worth seeing once. It's a fantastic backdrop for photographs, truly living up to the 'Valley of Colors' name and providing a much-needed splash of vibrancy near Baguio City. However, be warned: parking is a nightmare and the rules are strictly enforced. There are virtually no designated parking spots, and any attempt to park on the roadside, even for a few quick photos, is met with immediate enforcement. This logistical hurdle significantly detracted from the enjoyment of the visit and can turn what should be a pleasant stop into a stressful one. I highly recommend taking a taxi or public transport to bypass this headache entirely. On a brighter note, don't miss the local vendors near the main viewing area. They sell some delightful treats, including a surprisingly delicious, refreshing strawberry ice cream that is an absolute must-try. It's the perfect sweet reward after dealing with the traffic and parking situation. There is also a small selection of local pasalubong (souvenir) items available, perfect for grabbing a quick memento of your trip. The colorful houses are the main draw, but the lack of planning for visitor accessibility, especially parking, pulls the rating down considerably. It’s an interesting and beautiful sight, but be prepared for the logistical challenges.
Alhakim H — Google review
The spot by the bridge at the gate entrance is awesome for photos, even if we didn’t stop there this time since we’ve been before. Just be prepared for a line if there are a lot of other tourists waiting to snap a pic!

Do consider contributing to the community through donation. You can see the beauty created by them. If you look closer you may find that communal bathroom may be a feature for some blocks. Beautiful rainbow Bridge.

This was one of my most favorite places that I visited in Baguio. I love the colors, the simplicity of the idea, the people taking care of the area and its visitors. Nestled in the heart of Baguio, Igorot Stone Kingdom Inc. is a captivating new attraction that beautifully showcases the rich heritage and traditions of the Igorot people. Opened in 2021, this expansive 6,000-square-meter park features winding stone paths reminiscent of the iconic rice terraces found further north. Visitors can explore a unique blend of contemporary and traditional Igorot culture through its impressive structures, including a modern castle juxtaposed with ancient stone walls.

Prior going to this, ive read from some reviews that theres nothing igorot in this but i can say that there had been hard work, sacrifices and an established artistry in order to feature such a showcase like this. The place has been massive and you can imagine how many days and nights the workers have done this tirelessly. The only thing that i can observe is that the trees have been cut ofcourse in order to pave the way for this project. I hope they can think of something so that this can be environmentally sustainable. The entrance fee was 3.25cad (October 2025).

I recently visited Igorot Stone Kingdom in Baguio City, Philippines, and it was an amazing experience! The place is a stunning recreation of Ifugao, Kalinga, and Bontoc architecture, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Igorot people. Walking through the village feels like stepping back in time. The thatched huts, traditional clothing, and tribal artifacts create an immersive atmosphere that lets you experience the Igorot culture firsthand. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable, sharing stories and insights about the Igorot tribes, their customs, and history. They even offer interactive demonstrations, like weaving and traditional dances. The village is nestled in a picturesque hillside, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. MA few areas were still under renovation during my visit, but it didn't significantly impact the overall experience. Food and drinks are available, but options are limited. Bringing your own snacks or eating before/after is a good idea. Igorot Stone Kingdom is a must-visit for anyone interested in learning about Igorot culture and history. The village is well-maintained, and the staff are passionate about sharing their heritage. It's a unique and enriching experience that will leave you with lasting memories. Visit early to avoid crowds and make the most of your time exploring the village. Don't forget your camera – there are plenty of Instagram-worthy spots! Would I go back? Absolutely! Igorot Stone Kingdom is a hidden gem worth discovering.

I recently visited Igorot Stone Kingdom in Baguio City and I would rate it 3 stars. The place has potential and it is interesting to see something different, but there are still many things that need to improve. First, the area is not yet complete. You can see that there are ongoing works and some sections are still being built. Because of this, the experience feels a little unfinished. There are also only a few parking spaces available. Visitors sometimes have to wait or park a bit far, which can be inconvenient especially during weekends. Another thing I noticed is the lack of a medical team on standby. With a place like this where many people walk around, climb, or go up steps, it would be safer if there were medical staff ready in case of emergencies. I also saw a dog near the entrance bite someone, which really worried me. I think safety and security should be given more attention. The cultural dancers also need improvement. They just laugh and don’t seem to take their performance seriously, so it doesn’t feel very authentic. Overall, the place is nice to visit once, but I hope management improves these areas to give guests a better experience.

Nice place to spend hours in. I have visited a historic house for John M Milton, around the house there is beautiful Garden, and I have been asking the security man on how to get to the Canopy ride, unfortunately, has been suspended l, but he said you can enjoy the horse riding if you are interested, also there is more than a hotel in the area and also visited Butterflies Sanctuary also nice to visit it’s nice you can take pictures for memories

Had a lot of adventure activities to offer. But if your not that adventurous, the 300-meter trek is worth it especially at the end of the walk where the amazing view of Itogon mountains awaits. Must visit destination at Camp John Hay.

It was the venue for my nephew's wedding and the first time I've been to this part of Baguio City. I'm one of the Filipino people who could be proud of this particular place for any party or get-together or any activity you name it. It's an adorable place which I've witnessed seeing it from top and looking down below I was amazed. I even dreamed of having the place for my party in future in God's will. Just take note of having a good caterer company to cater all your needs and up to your standard then everything will be perfect.
Abeer L — Google review
We started the trekking from butterfly farm and ended up exit via the horse stable which we think it’s not the exit. Lack of signboard is the issue. Overall the trekking was enjoyable with cool breeze. There should have been some shelters at checkpoint in case it rains. It rains when we were half way trekking, though we have umbrellas but it’s very chilling.

This place is wonderful. It shows you what happens when you take care of nature. This place's tree drop is very exciting but is also really safe. They have excellent staffs from the briefing area to the activities itself; they can precisely explain, hype up the activity and are friendly. But then I think that the real attraction here is the conservation of the forests. Photo attached below is the Skywalk where you can see the Itogon Mountains. The photo is nothing compared to the real view. It was breathtaking and can make you just stare for some moment. The canopy ride is for those who are not into extreme activities. It allows to view the forest from above. Overall the place is really worth visiting. The price for the activities is just right and is affordable. The staffs are accomodating. Excellent.

We did 'Trekking and Skywalk' and enjoyed the experience. The required hike was short and easy, and the view from the skywalk was breathtaking. The whole activity lasted us an hour. There is a briefing upon entering the place to inform visitors of the activities on offer and what those activities involve.
G A — Google review
My experience? Just had fun taking photos... I didn't knew there's dress code, I was in heels so I wasn't allowed to take any of the rides. The place is so nature, you could smell the pine trees' refreshing aroma. I definitely want to go back and try at least one of the rides! Recommend much!

The Bell House, named after General J. Franklin Bell, is a well-preserved American colonial house located within the boundaries of Camp John Hay in the Philippines. Once serving as the vacation home for the Commanding General of the Philippines, it has been transformed into a modern museum showcasing old architecture and lifestyle. Visitors can explore the interior of this American-designed home, complete with original furniture from its early days. The house also offers a picturesque view of the surrounding pine forest from its balcony.
This place would bring you back to American colonial period in the Ph. You can freely roam inside Gen. Bell’s house. Please don’t trash the place and follow the rules posted inside the house.

It was a sight! Seeing a place this old, being well preserved and kept. I got a few shots here. There were so many other events going on, plus rain.
Henry V — Google review
It's almost exactly like my aunt’s house in the States. The view was breathtaking, and the fog was mesmerizing, the rain only amplifying nature’s beauty. A good place to take a break and enjoy the view.
Yomi L — Google review
The house is named after General J. Franklin Bell, US official who had stayed there in the early 1900s. It was Bell who converted Camp John Hay into military resort. House was built in 1906 in American colonial style. There is not much to see inside. Just some basic furniture. It would be more interesting if there were some kind of information about the place and its residents. Building and surrounding areas were turned over to the Philippine government in 1991 and became open to the public It is still worth a visit as the structure is beautiful. Under one ticket to historic area (85 PHP per adult and 40 PHP for students) one may see The Bell House, Bell Amphitheater, Secret Garden and History Trail. Place is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.

No doubt, a great place to visit when in Baguio. But maybe, they can make the house more engaging to the visitors by posting any trivia about the Bell House. But still, I enjoyed my visit here.
Yahmil B — Google review
An interesting place, the house is well preserved. A little of history: Named after Gen. J. Franklin Bell, who was sent to the Philippines during the Philippine-American War, the Bell House holds historical significance. Gen. Bell played a key role in transforming Camp John Hay into a renowned military resort. Once the vacation home of the Commanding General of the Philippines, the Bell House has now been converted into a modern museum that showcases old architecture and lifestyle. Surrounded by picturesque gardens, the entire place exudes a colonial charm.

It's a lovely spot for those seeking a nature-filled escape. Lush with towering trees and pleasantly uncrowded, it offers a serene atmosphere. While there's an entrance fee, discounts are available for students, seniors, PWDs, and Baguio residents, making it accessible to a wider range of visitors.
Manuel E — Google review
Bell House is indeed a good place to visit when in Baguio. Entrance fee is php 20.00. Its location is near the boundary of baguio and la trinidad. There, you have to go up and climb up their stairs to reach and watch the good view of Baguio city. Hopefully, this place will be improved and renovated as old structures were noticeable throughout the area.

Nestled in a tranquil corner of Ambuklao Road, just a short drive from Baguio City proper, Arca's Yard Café offers a serene escape from the urban bustle. Housed in a charming three-story home-turned-cafe, this hidden gem boasts an art-filled ambiance and stunning mountain vistas from its balcony.
One of my favourite places because of the views and overall atmosphere there! Really enjoyed the food too! Everything was great, including the drinks and desserts that we had! The only thing that wasn’t good were the ebi tempura, but everything else made up for that! Will definitely be back here again!
Kevin T — Google review
Based on our order, I think their specialty is the desserts. The sweet potato pie we ordered was delicious; it’s has the ample amount of sweetness and the overall texture was nice. The main dish we ordered: Spicy tuna pasta, was okay and it has a homemade taste (but I was hoping for a unique flavor) Overall, the ambience of the place is serene with beautiful displays of art and a library space for books. Staff is hospitable. The overlooking will not disappoint. P.S They have nice bathroom.✨

This is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to during my vacation. The overall vibe and the food made it a wonderful experience. We were lucky it was just beside the hotel we were staying at. Getting here can take a bit of effort since it’s located away from the city. The restaurant is spacious, with three floors, and has outdoor seating that overlooks the mountains and pine trees. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a meal, especially breakfast. They offer a wide variety of dishes, and the food we ordered was worth the price and completely satisfied my cravings. What I loved most about this place is the library. I was surprised by the selection of books they had. If I had more time, I would’ve loved to just read and relax there. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere inside makes you feel like everyone is a friend. 🍃 Also, their dessert is worth the try!!

Lion’s Head is a 40-foot-tall landmark statue located along Kennon Road in Baguio City. It was carved into a large limestone boulder by the members of Baguio City Host Lions Club and unveiled to the public in 1972. The statue, resembling a lion's head, has become a popular spot for travelers to take pictures as they journey to or from Baguio.
September 13, 2025 around 12:30 pm A steep climb for a cyclist. I admit I hiked the last 300 meters to climb this area. Without Eddie Oribello's help, I won't reach this place. I prefer the time when they closed Kennon road to motorists. It has just reopened so tourists flock this monument. I should've biked here when the road was closed. What I love about this is there's no entrance fee, and you can take pictures of the statue free of charge. However, there are sections of the area when use with their props, you gotta pay them. There are a lot of stores and stalls: ice cream vendors, souvenirs, food, and props for rent for picture taking. There's also a restroom nearby. There's a railing by the cliff where you can view the panoramic view of Tuba, Benguet. This place is a go to of cyclists.
Vergel S — Google review
Despite the rain making it difficult to capture a perfect photo, the beauty of the place still shone through. Even with the bad weather, the view remained stunning, proving that some landscapes have a charm that stands strong regardless of the conditions. A memorable experience, rain or shine!

The Lion’s Head in Baguio City, located along Kennon Road, is a symbolic landmark that has welcomed travelers for decades. Standing tall and carved out of stone, it represents strength and pride, while also serving as a popular tourist attraction. Visitors often stop to take photographs and purchase local souvenirs from nearby stalls, making it both a cultural and commercial point of interest.

The drive was smooth with no traffic, which was great, but the trip itself was a bit intense. We had to detour over a recent landslide and even passed through a bridge that’s still under construction.

A must stop. The place was packed when we arrived there. We made our stop at the Lion Head during our descent from Baguio since we got up from another road. The Cemetery of Negativism is a place where people can bury negative thoughts and emotions, in order to create a more positive environment. The tombstones are usually punny and funny, with amusing animal designs.
It's also a cemetery of puns! Such a pleasant surprise. Here are photos of the graves I could relate to.

It is a symbolic site for burying negativism—emotions, frustrations, attitudes, and thoughts that today we would call as "bad vibes." “Negativism is man’s greatest self imposed infliction, his most limiting factor, his heaviest burden,” a marker by the entrance eloquently explains. “No more for here is buried the world’s negativism for all time. Those who rest here have died not in vain – but for you a stern reminder. As you leave this hill remember that the rest of your life. Be More Positive.” It sets the mood and manages the expectations for the visitors. (c) #jonahandpatrick #cemeteryofnegativism #campjohnhay #baguio #baguiocity

Why come here: 1. I think it will ease your stress a bit, the place for me has a nice ambiance. 2. It has an affordable price for adults, 85 php as of december 2024. Maybe it has already increased, I'm not sure how much is the entrance fee for kids. 3. The words written in the tombstone are funny also the figure itself. If you circle around you might find your negative behaviour. Also, the pine trees added some good vibes. 4. Not that crowded compared to other parks. 5. There is an area for picnic, good for family visitors This is a good experience as a first timer in Baguio.

The Cemetery of Negativism is a unique attraction within the Historical Core of Camp John Hay in Baguio City, Philippines. It is a lighthearted and thought-provoking concept that encourages visitors to let go of negativity and adopt a more positive perspective. The cemetery features humorous tombstones that display negative thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors. Each tombstone represents a different negative trait or mindset that people often struggle with, such as "Excusitis," "Pessimism," or "Procrastination." It serves as a reminder to reflect on these negative tendencies and encourages visitors to bury them metaphorically. Visitors can wander through the cemetery, read the inscriptions on the tombstones, and contemplate the associated negative qualities. Very unique place to leave all your negativity behind before heading back to the City. You have to have your sarcasm in check to appreciate the art. Had fun reading all the tombstones and relating a bit to it. I hope they add more to it next time we visit.

Great place to bury negative thoughts, they actually put in some puns to make a negative situation lighter. I was asked if it was a real cemetery, its not, the only thing buried here are negative thoughts. A good place to meditate, best to go here on a weekday so as to avoid the influx of tourists.
Vince T — Google review
It’s a neat concept with ‘tomb’ inscriptions ranging from mildly amusing to just plain absurd. I wish there was a lot more witty sarcasm and yes, negativism. There is an admission fee (70 pesos as of this writing), which also allows access to the nearby Bell House Museum and Amphitheater.

Baguio City Market, established in 1913, is a bustling hub for locals and tourists alike. It offers an extensive range of goods including fruits, vegetables, clothing, household items, and souvenirs unique to Baguio. The market plays a significant role in the city's trading scene and has influenced the growth of Benguet's vegetable industry.
I love buying vegetables at Baguio City Market—they’re incredibly affordable, both vegetables and fruits. It’s a great place for health-conscious people who enjoy salads, like me. The produce is always fresh. I make it a point to come here to buy vegetables every time I visit Baguio. The atmosphere is cheerful, and the people are friendly. The last time we came, we even caught a group doing Zumba and dancing right at the market—it was such a fun experience! Shopping here is truly enjoyable—not only are the prices low, but the cool weather also makes walking around comfortable. You won’t easily get tired or sweaty even if you take your time going from stall to stall.

It has been awhile since I have been to the Baguio City Market. My senses were awakened; from the sewer smell by the entrance, the scents of the different fresh produce, the fragrant and beautiful flowers plus the hum of the locals speaking their dialect. The paths were clean and well signed posts on which part of the aisles one needs to walk. You can hire a 'carrier' for your purchases and they will help you put them in your vehicle if needed.

Famous for 9-midnight stalls. Decades ago, they were selling on the roadside pavements then this October 2025 i was glad to see the sellers with stalls, they set up in a matter of seconds when it hits 9pm. There were so many people flocking. i cannot get my phone to document as there were pickpockets in this area. The sellers now know how to price their quality shoes. The jackets are really cheap and of good quality. Baguio/ The Cordillerans never ceases to amaze me.

Baguio Market needs a renovation asap. The place is old, and is a fire hazard. They should make the place more conducive to shopping as the area looks and feels grimy. There are plans to build a new market by SM , but there's an opposition to it . If the private sector can't do it, here's hoping that the local government can proceed to rehabilitate the area.

If you want an authentic, traditional Filipino shopping experience, this is the place to come. They probably have most anything you could want - if you don't see it ask someone and they can probably direct you. Mostly food - veggies, fruits, meats, eggs - but also plenty of other, non-perishable and non-food items as well. Spread out over a couple of city blocks, this is a maze, a rabbit's warren of alleys and side streets lined on both sides by vendors. Come curious. If you need to cook, this is undoubtedly one of the best places to get the freshest ingredients at the best prices!

Nestled among the pine trees of Baguio, Camp John Hay Park offers a picturesque setting for visitors to capture Instagram-worthy photos and enjoy the fresh ambiance. It provides a tranquil escape from the city, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature while still being close to urban amenities.
One of the best places in Baguio - a must visit. There's a lot to see, plus the place is relaxing. The area open to public is enough to see how incredible the place is! But if you wish to explore more, there's an area with an entrance fee (optional). One downside, but hasn't affected my rating, is the location. It's best to be traveled by own car. I don't think there's public transportation available in the area. Another thing (beneficial for those traveling with children), a place that not everyone might have seen, is a playground situated near a parking space. It's open for the public. Will surely entertain children for free.
Mary M — Google review
If you're ever in Baguio and love a good walk amidst some serious greenery, you absolutely have to spend some time at Camp John Hay. It's just such a breath of fresh air, literally! What I loved most was just being surrounded by all the trees and lush landscapes. There are so many spots where you can just take it all in, whether you're looking for a peaceful stroll or a more energetic walk. The air feels so much cleaner up there, and it's just incredibly calming to be away from the city hustle. We spent hours just wandering around, discovering different paths and enjoying the quiet. If you're someone who appreciates nature and getting your steps in, Camp John Hay is definitely your kind of place. My only little thought for improvement, especially since so many tourists like us love to stroll, is that some of the sidewalks could really use being a bit wider. There were times when it felt a little cramped, especially if there were a few groups walking at once. Given how popular walking and enjoying the outdoors is here, making more room for pedestrians would make the experience even better for everyone.

Nestled on Dominican Hill, the Diplomat Hotel is a captivating blend of history and mystery that draws in urban explorers and photography enthusiasts alike. This abandoned gem boasts stunning panoramic views of Baguio City, making it an ideal backdrop for capturing its unique architectural features and hauntingly beautiful ruins. Visitors often find themselves enchanted by the hotel's weathered charm, which tells tales of its storied past.
We've been to Baguio several times already but this is the first time I've visited Diplomat Hotel. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. We weren't allowed to enter the building. It started raining when we arrived so we stayed a bit longer while waiting for the rain to subside. There was an area with food stalls but they are open only during the weekend. This is where we waited out the rain. The guy we talked to who managed one of the stalls said there's a live band also during the weekends. You can visit the Diplomat Hotel during the weekends and also go food tripping in the area. We got lost along the way and the Google Maps pin actually led us to the back of the hotel so make sure to pin the "Old Diplomat Hotel." Entrance is only P10/pax and parking is P10 for motorcycle.

You can’t go inside anymore, unlike a few years ago when it was allowed. Now, you’re limited to wandering around the common areas. It still has an eerie vibe, though! It’s worth a quick visit if you’re in Baguio.

Diplomat Hotel is giving major aesthetic and spooky vibes 👻 The place is super peaceful, surrounded by pine trees, and the view of Baguio from the top is amazing. It’s perfect for taking pics and just chilling with friends. Just a heads-up though, it’s far from the town proper and the road can be steep, plus the building itself is more of a preserved ruin so don’t expect modern amenities. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re into history, good views, and that lowkey eerie but chill atmosphere.
GianTutorials — Google review
It was sooo creepy and eerily quiet, and I loved it!!!! 😱 So sad we didn’t get the chance to go inside because the building is too fragile now. I really hope this hotel can be preserved, it’s so beautiful and truly historical. We had a chance to peek at the infamous fountain just through the window. I don’t have a sixth sense, but you don’t need one to feel the weight and history of the place. There are also food stalls, but the prices are quite high. The toilets are a bit inaccessible for elders and PWDs because they’re just portable toilets, you have to squat to pee or poo, and there’s a fee of ₱10 for pee and ₱20 for poo.

Nestled in the heart of Baguio, Hill Station is a must-visit for anyone looking to elevate their dining experience. This charming restaurant has earned accolades as one of the most romantic spots in the city, making it an ideal choice for a special date night or even a memorable wedding celebration. With its rustic wooden architecture and enchanting decor, Hill Station offers not just ambiance but also an impressive menu that features both Continental and Asian cuisine.
My first time at this restaurant in Baguio. It was highly recommended by friends for its good food. We ordered soup, salad and mains. And yes, they were all good. We took home some frozen items from the deli and strawberry jams. The restaurant is located at the basement of a 1908 building which is also a hotel. We parked along the street in front of the establishment. But they do have a parking lot at the back of the property. It would be wise also to call and reserve before going.

Dining at Hill Station is always such a treat! The food and service have remained consistently excellent through the years, which is why we keep coming back. The staff are warm and personal, making every visit special. I usually order the Steak and Salmon, but this time I tried the Roast Beef—and it was outstanding! Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. This is also our second time celebrating my husband’s birthday here, and both times they greeted him warmly and even surprised him with a treat. Truly one of Baguio’s best dining experiences!

Great Value, Great Vibe! This spot is a fantastic find! The food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced—a rare combo these days. Every dish we tried was well-prepared and satisfying without breaking the bank. What really sets it apart is the ambiance. The lighting is warm, the music is pleasant, and the decor is stylish yet comfortable. It has a relaxed, inviting feeling that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food and a great atmosphere without the hefty price tag! If you tell me the name of the place and the type of food, I can make the review more specific!

It was pouring rain that day, and I went in just to take shelter. Unexpectedly, I ended up at a great restaurant. What I liked the most was the drinks — they were absolutely delicious. The dining environment was also very comfortable.

The staff was gracious and accommodating. I was seated very quickly despite the restaurant being full. Then, without asking or even expecting it, I was told they could move me to a window seat. Which they did. The house margarita I was told was made from scratch which is the only reason I ordered it. I asked for it less sweet. But it came as a thick, lemon syrup. Shame. The Thai seafood curry was excellent though there were far more clam shells than clams. Highly recommend go-to in Baguio

It’s my second time in this resto and I’d say that there fil-spanish dishes are so good, i so loved their callos and gambas, we also ordered their backribs, mixed seafood curry and calamares which was good as well. So sad that we werent able to try their paella due to longer waiting time approx 1 hour, the place is nice and homy as well, location is very much familiar as it is just a walking distance from sm baguio. A must visit also whenever you plan to go up north. ☺️

I feel a little let down. It’s been a while since I ate here and remembered that I enjoyed it back then but this time around it felt a little lackluster. The food is good, their hot choco was a little tasteless… I feel like I didn’t really get the value for my money. I enjoyed it but was a little disappointed. It was still beautiful though! We came in for breakfast so there were maybe 3 other groups. Our server was a little short with us, giving one-worded answers and didn’t let us finish our questions, but he probably was having a bad day. Every other worker I got to talk to were polite so might have been a coincidence. Hope next time I come visit would be more enjoyable 😅

Cozy dining experience. May bread sila na free, while waiting sa mga orders. Really love their Slow Roast Beef, super tender and yum. I had the lechon kawali with laing and sobrang crunchy ng balat ng pork. Recommended rin ang Death by Chocolate. Service was fast at first but it took us 20 minutes to get our bill last night. Staff are nice and approachable naman. They just need to check the dining area always lalo pag maraming tao.

Nestled in the heart of Baguio City, the Baguio Mansion House, also known as The Mansion, serves as the official summer residence for Philippine Presidents. This stunning structure boasts beautifully manicured lawns and gardens that are open to visitors, making it a must-see on any Baguio tour. Originally built in 1908 and later restored after wartime destruction in 1946, its architecture draws inspiration from Buckingham Palace with a touch of Spanish Colonial Revival style.
At last they open it to the public.nice one.but you need to have advance registration to visit the place.and it's better to visit it on weekdays.and be there at least 30 mins before viewing time, may orientation pa kasi.and worth it because you learn many things about our past presidents.

There’s not much to do at this spot aside from picture-taking. There are only a few trees near the gate, so expect it to be very warm especially at noon. Entrance is free. Public access is inside the Presidential Museum only, though I was not able to go inside.
Checkerra C — Google review
The Mansion is one of Baguio City's most iconic landmarks, and it's definitely worth a quick stop if you're exploring the city. Located just across from Wright Park, it's a picturesque spot with a rich history and charming colonial architecture. The gate itself is the most photographed part — it’s grand and well-maintained, and gives off a very regal vibe. Unfortunately, visitors aren’t allowed to go inside the actual mansion unless there’s a special tour or event, but the view from outside is still beautiful. There’s a small museum near the gate that gives a bit of background on the property and its significance as the official summer residence of the Philippine President. My favorite spot: the fountain

While the tour is informative and does include some interesting historical information - the tour guide treated the 30 minutes walk almost like a school trip. Rote chatter with an emphasis on trivia. You are only allowed to take photos in the main reception room. The tour is free - of the 20 who booked only 5 actually turned up!!
HeatSand C — Google review
Presidential Summer House, a quick stop to check out one of classic point of interest in the city. Wright park is across the street where free parking can be located. A short walk of the fountain row has a deceptive pic view that it’s part of the Mansion.

If you're here to just take a photo of the Baguio Mansion Gate or to do a tour, remember to drop by at the Baguio Mansion Visitor's Center. You can buy souvenirs that bear the seal of the Office of the President. If you're here for the tour, then the registration and orientation happens there. We booked a week before our tour visit. Booking ahead is recommended but they also accept walk-ins if there's are not many people in the tour. The tour starts from the Visitor's Center going up to the mansion. Senior citizens and people who have a hard time walking may request to use the golf cart. Tour guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes before the tour. The tour starts on time and lasts for about an hour excluding picture taking and buying of souvenirs. Photographs are allowed only at the front door and presidential hall. The tour is about the history and presidency of the 17 Philippine presidents. Some people may have differing opinions about particular presidents but the purpose of the tour is about celebrating and highlights of each president. At the end of the tour, you have an opportunity to send a letter to the incimbent president and buy more souvenirs. Our tour guide, Message, was kind enough to take pictures of guests in front of the Philippine flag and seal. This tour is barely one year old. it only started last September 2024. We have some Americans during our tour who pointed out some errors in the timelines of American presidents. Our tour guide said that they will review the inaccurate information.
Ia L — Google review
The Mansion House opened to the public as a museum of presidential history in September 2024. Today my husband and I took a tour of it led by Leisley Frias, who was knowledgeable, professional, and engaging. There is a separate exhibit for each former president of the Philippines, complete with photos and artifacts. The exhibits are bright, fresh, and visually appealing. The building is beautifully maintained. I particularly enjoyed the flooring throughout. Lovely watercolor paintings of every First Lady adorn a hallway. There is, of course, a large exhibit dedicated to the current office holder, President Bongbong Marcos. Visitors are invited to write a letter to President Marcos; our tour guide indicated that all letters are delivered to him. Photos and videos are not permitted in most areas of the museum, as is standard practice in many museums we’ve visited in various countries. It would be nice to be able to purchase a book about the museum that includes photos, as a memento; I hope such a book is planned for the future.

The Mansion serves as the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines. Built in 1908 during the American colonial period, it was heavily damaged during World War II but later restored. Over the decades, it has hosted various official events. The Mansion is open for guided tours from Tuesday to Sunday, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. While walk-in visitors are accepted, advance reservations are recommended. Tours are conducted exclusively with a guide, last approximately 45 minutes, and are free of charge. Inside, the exhibition showcases all Philippine presidents from the country's establishment to the current leader, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who has the most extensive dedicated section.

Restaurant
Nestled on Outlook Drive, Lemon and Olives Greek Taverna is Baguio's premier destination for authentic Greek cuisine. Chef Takis, a native of Athens, brings the flavors of Greece to life with a tantalizing menu featuring classic dishes infused with Greek essence. The restaurant offers an inviting al-fresco dining experience, allowing guests to savor their meals while soaking in the breathtaking scenery of Baguio.
Had dinner at Lemon and Olives Green Taverna, which was a pleasant walk from Baguio Country Club though taking a Grab is a smart option. The restaurant has a great vibe and we were lucky to arrive early enough to get seats at the veranda where the cool weather made the experience even better. We started with the Evia Salad with pomegranate pearls, dried Greek figs, walnuts, and feta cheese tossed with mixed greens and a sweet balsamic reduction. This was a standout and something I’d definitely order again. I had the Beef Souvlaki Plate served with pita bread, fries, and garlic, chili, and tzatziki dips. The flavor was alright though the beef was a bit chewy, so I’d probably try a different main next time. The chicken version was good though. We also ordered the hummus from their mezze selection which was good and served with warm pita bread. Overall, Lemon and Olives is a must-visit in Baguio with a relaxing ambiance and plenty on the menu to come back for.
Erwin P — Google review
We’ve dined here three times already, and the food never disappoints. The lamb chops are especially worth coming back for, and the whole menu from appetizers to dessert is consistently delicious. However, the service needs improvement. A server gave a smug look when we asked for additional orders, our plates were cleared while we were still eating, and dessert was placed on a dirty table instead of wiping it first. These details matter and can take away from an otherwise great dining experience.
Beverly R — Google review
We went here on a Sunday. Good thing we arrived early, around 11 a.m., when the place wasn’t crowded yet. We were able to choose our own table. I really missed eating Mediterranean cuisine, so I ordered my all-time favorites from when I was in Saudi: the Moussaka, Hummus with pita bread, and Baklava for dessert (best paired with tea, so I ordered lemon ginger tea to go with it). I also tried their chicken souvlaki, which tasted somewhat similar to chicken kebab but lighter in spices—and it was delicious too. The servings were generous, enough for two persons. By 12 noon, there was already a queue of people waiting to dine, so I’m glad we came early and had time to enjoy both the view and the food. I would definitely come back here the next time I visit Baguio.

Can't go wrong with anything you pick from their menu! All delish! Great ambiance too! We stayed not far from it so we were there everyday either brunch, lunch or dinner.

The reviews are real, this is a great place to hang out. There's a few parking outside, not crowded at 7am. People started to come at around 9am. I love the pesto eggs! My husband was surprised there's non-blood pinuneg in the breakfast platter. Free brewed coffee with breakfast. And yeah, the view is great! Pastries are the best too! Loved the pecan tart!

My go-to order here will always be the Souvlaki Plate, especially with the beef, chicken, and lamb combination — highly recommended! I loved their Greek yogurt too! The Chicken Kebab and Grilled Tuna are just okay in terms of flavor, but the portions are generous. The beautiful view adds to the overall experience and makes the ambiance even better.

The pastries are really good! 🥐 The view from the veranda was beautiful with the serene sight of trees and nearby mountains adding to the relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a place in Baguio that’s not too crowded. ☺️ Even better, enjoying a warm cup of hot chocolate while it rains makes the experience extra cozy and memorable.

Heritage Hill and Nature Park Garden, also known as the Old Diplomat Hotel, is an abandoned building in Baguio City that has long been considered haunted. It offers ghost-hunting tours and boasts hilltop views.
The trip was smooth since there was no traffic and barely any people around. It was quiet and peaceful, which let me enjoy the place even more. Even with its ghosty background, it didn’t feel scary at all. It was actually calming to just be there and take in the silence.

The Diplomat Hotel is a historic, abandoned hotel located atop Dominican Hill, offering stunning views of the city. This 33-bedroom hotel was initially a Dominican retreat house and seminary before being transformed into a hotel in the 1970s. Its unique architecture and rich history make it a popular tourist destination. The hotel is famous for its paranormal activity and eerie atmosphere, attracting ghost hunters and thrill-seekers. 📍Diplomat Hotel, Baguio City

Nice place to chill and see and buy local arts and craft. T The food stalls have a lot of variety. There is open mic wherein anyone can sing or do some spoken poetry. Though there aren't a lot of tables, there is a long bench at the side. The only thing not good is the public restroom.
Crystallene R — Google review
It was a pleasant experience visiting the place. It really looks haunted upon visiting as it was already abandoned but with a rich history. The hotel was now closed for entry because of previous sightings before and you can only see now the inside from the outside. Since it became a park, you can now buy stuffs from there like foods, souvenirs, etc. All in all, it is a great experience. ❤️
Virgilio J — Google review
An uncanny experience because of its backstory, but it is also a good one because of how interesting it is and how elegant the hotel design is. The creepy vibe isn't that visible because there are stores there with a lighthearted vibe. There are also other things within this area, I recommend going since it's a really complex experience.

Just wrapped up a memorable (and slightly terrifying) visit to the infamous Diplomat Hotel in Baguio with my mom, sister, brother-in-law, and niece! If you're looking for your typical hotel stay with fluffy towels and mints on your pillow, this ain't it. But if you want a dose of history, stunning views, and the very real possibility of a ghostly encounter, buckle up! 😱 This isn't a functioning hotel anymore, which honestly just adds to the eerie charm. Perched on Dominican Hill, the structure itself is a character. Originally a seminary and then a hotel, its most chilling chapters unfolded during WWII, when it served as a refuge but also witnessed immense tragedy. Tales of beheadings, torture, and a general air of sorrow are said to linger, and you can absolutely feel it. My history buff side was fascinated, while my inner horror fan was doing a happy dance. 🤩 So, did we see ghosts? My niece is convinced she saw a shadowy figure dart across a hallway, which sent her into a fit of giggles (and then a fit of hiding behind my mom). 😂 My mom, ever the brave one, kept claiming she felt "cold spots" even though it was a perfectly warm day. The best part? My brother-in-law, who was initially scoffing at the ghost stories, nearly jumped out of his skin when a gust of wind slammed a door shut. 🌬️🚪 Priceless! We heard whispers, saw shadows that probably weren't just shadows, and generally leaned into the creepiness. It was genuinely atmospheric and a fantastic backdrop for some family-friendly scares and a lot of laughter. 🤣 If you're into urban exploration, history, or just looking for something different to do in Baguio that will give you chills and thrills (and maybe a few laughs at your family's expense), the Diplomat Hotel is a must-visit. It offers a unique historical experience and panoramic views of Baguio City from the top, making for loads of photo opportunities. 📸 You certainly won't run out of stories to tell after a visit here! Just maybe don't go alone at night... unless you're feeling extra brave! 😉 #DiplomatHotelReview #BaguioPhilippines #HauntedHistory #FamilyTravel #SpookyAdventures #PhilippineHaunts #TravelReview #GhostHunting #BaguioCity #MustVisit #HumorAndHorror #DominicanHill #FilipinoCulture #CreepyPlaces 🇵🇭👻😂

There is a small fee to enter the premises. Unfortunately, you can no longer enter the old hotel building, but just roam around the place. Usually a tourist area, the place is does not need reservation. Walk ins are welcome. Toilet is also available inside. The heritage hill is big but there are also certain areas that is restricted from the public.

Established by the Maryknoll Sisters after a devastating earthquake in 1990, this sanctuary pays homage to the beauty and power of our natural world. Guests can embark on a unique 'Cosmic Journey,' exploring 14 stations that illustrate the universe's creation and our interconnectedness within it.
A place to unwind and relax. A good place for couples, friends and families. Pets are allowed inside. There's a wide space for parking. There's an entrance fee and a guide where to go. Lots of views to see especially if you're a nature lover. The place will bring you to the past/ history of the world. Some of the stations show the ruins which are one of the best places. I LOVE the place. It will bring PEACE OF MIND , HOLINESS, & CALM YOUR HEART. It's really a sanctuary place.

It really is an underrated destination in Baguio. U can definitely commune with nature and get peace from this haven. Most of the path are paved but it's better to ensure that u have comfy footwear with good grip esp. when it's raining. There are around 14 stations, 2 of which are man made mini-caves. Highly recommending this esp. for those who prefer less crowded places.

Maryknoll is an underrated gem in Baguio City. When I visited, I felt at peace surrounded by nature's beauty, carefully crafted into stunning landscapes and unique spots. This is an ideal spot for those seeking a quiet space and embracing solitude. However, it's best to avoid visiting during rainy days as it can get slippery, and some areas like the bridge and cave may require extra care and maintenance.
Julianna T — Google review
It's a really cool and unexpected gem. If you like being surrounded by nature but still stau close to the city, then this is the place for you. The place is practically empty, so you have the entire place for yourselves. There is an entrance fee of 100php but with no time limit.

Maryknoll ecological sanctuary is about ecology education on how the world forms and why we should take care of it. There is not much to see but every station ( there are 14 stations by the way) has a big lesson to learn, if you want visual history with serenity, here is a best place.

Mines View Observation Deck is a popular spot in Baguio, known for its stunning views of the town and abandoned gold and copper mines. Situated at the extreme northeast of the city, it offers breathtaking vistas of the Cordillera mountain range. Visitors can enjoy beautiful sunsets and shop for local delicacies to take home.
Mines View Deck in Baguio offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Benguet mountains and old mining town sites. It’s a must-visit spot for first-time tourists, especially for photo opportunities and souvenir shopping. The view is stunning at sunrise, and there are plenty of stalls selling local crafts, snacks, and traditional attire for fun photo ops. Though often crowded, the scenic beauty and cultural vibe make the visit worthwhile. Just be prepared for some walking and expect cooler weather. It’s a perfect stop to appreciate the natural charm and history of Baguio.

Very cheap ticket, about 20 pesos each I think. The view is very nice but I don’t know if I agree keeping the horses there for show. There’s souvenirs and other sellers like plants on the site. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys site seeing and it wasn’t too busy.
Oliver C — Google review
We visited Mines View Park in Baguio and it was definitely worth the stop. The highlight is the viewing deck where you get to see a wide, scenic view of the mountains and valleys. It was a bit foggy when we went, but the cool air and peaceful vibe made it enjoyable. There are plenty of souvenir shops around selling local crafts, food, and plants. It can get crowded, especially during peak hours, so mornings or weekdays are probably the best time to visit. Parking is also a bit limited, so patience is needed. What I liked most was the atmosphere. Even though it’s busy, it still feels like a classic Baguio destination that’s part of the experience. The photo opportunities with the view, traditional attire rentals, and even the dogs and horses for pictures add to the charm. Overall rating: 4/5. A must visit for the view and the Baguio experience.
Jay G — Google review
It’s good to be back here! The place feels so refreshing, and the view is truly mesmerizing. There’s a ₱10 donation upon entry. Inside, you’ll find plenty of pasalubong centers, some items, like local delicacies, are quite affordable, but the shirts and souvenirs can be a bit pricey. The food, such as inihaw na daing na pusit, corn, and other snacks, is also a little overpriced, but overall, it’s still a lovely experience!
Via D — Google review
Classic spot to visit… nature landscape view over a high mountain rock with cool photo shots (as the city is less scenic nature as the decades pass). Moreover, it gets too crowded. A lot of small businesses stalls or shops for pasalubong foods, delicacies, plants, native products, and a ton of souvenirs. One can rent out Igorot wardrobe or sit on a decorated horse / pony, and get authentic photos… though limited in location as it is not allowed to go to the prime spot mentioned above wearing said costume. Getting inside has relatively very cheap entrance fee.
Warren C — Google review
Although the scenery at the view deck is nothing short of breathtaking, the place is too crowded making it difficult to take a decent solo picture. Also, most of the park is occupied by souvenir shops and plant vendors making the park look a little displeasing to the eyes.
Paolo E — Google review
One of the most popular view deck, tourist destination in Baguio. Also a spot where you can buy souvenirs, pasalubong items and small ornamentals plant and vagetable seeds.

If you’re visiting Baguio City, Mines View Park should definitely be on top of your itinerary! The moment you step onto the viewing deck, you’ll be greeted with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Benguet mountains, lush pine forests, and old mining town below. The cool breeze, fresh mountain air, and peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect spot to unwind, take photos, and appreciate nature’s beauty. Whether you’re an early riser catching the golden sunrise or a sunset chaser soaking in the warm glow over the hills, every moment here feels magical. There are also local stalls nearby offering native crafts, souvenirs, and the famous strawberry taho—perfect for a complete Baguio experience! The best part? The entrance fee is only ₱10 per adult, making it one of the most affordable yet rewarding attractions in the city. If you’re planning a trip to Baguio, don’t miss Mines View Park! It’s a place where nature, culture, and stunning scenery come together, an experience that captures the true charm of the City of Pines.

Nestled in a rainforest garden, Choco-late de Batirol is a must-visit spot in Baguio, just 3 hours from Manila. This renowned restaurant is famous for its hot chocolate made using traditional batirol preparation. It's a popular choice for families seeking a hearty breakfast or merienda, offering dishes like tocino kalabaw and longanisa Vigan alongside bibingka and suman served with their signature cacao drink.
Walked over to Choco-laté de Batirol which is a comfortable distance from Baguio Country Club and a nice stroll through the cool air. Tried their Palabok along with the traditional blend of Hot Choco. The palabok was tasty and the hot chocolate was exactly what you’d want on a nippy Baguio day, rich and warming without being too sweet. With its rustic setting and the cool weather, the whole experience felt very much like the Baguio many people look for. A pleasant stop for merienda or a warm drink.

Visited this place because it was recommended by many. I expected much from the Hot Choco since it was hyped but the taste is not to my liking. I swear our palengke’s hot chocolate (sikwate) is tastier. We also ordered the bibingka not that good also for me hehe. Not to mention the food is expensive.
Dorothy ( — Google review
I ordered the Tocino Breakfast, and it was really good. The meat was tender and tasted like it had a bit of garlic in it, which made it extra flavorful. The plate also came with an egg, pickled cucumber, and tomato, which went perfectly with the sweet and savory tocino. I also tried their Baguio Blend hot chocolate, which has a hint of strawberry. It’s rich, creamy, and chocolate-forward, with just a light touch of strawberry flavor. It’s not overly sweet like commercial drinks, and you can tell they use high-quality chocolate. Definitely a comfort drink, especially with the cool Baguio air. They open as early as 7AM, but the line gets long quickly. I arrived right at opening and was already fifth in line. By the time I finished eating, around 20 people were waiting outside. The open-air setup makes it even better since you can enjoy the fresh Baguio breeze while sipping your drink. Overall, totally worth the wait. The food is great, the vibe is cozy, and it’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy breakfast in Baguio.

Nestled somewhere in the lush corners of Camp John Hay, Choco-late de Batirol offers a cozy escape from the Baguio chill. The ambiance is warm and rustic—perfect for quiet conversations or reflective solo moments. One standout is Marc, a server whose charm, smile, and fresh scent added a surprising layer of delight to the visit. He made the experience feel more personal. 🐾 Stray Cats Alert (but don’t worry!) Yes, there are roaming cats—but they’re gentle, well-behaved, and clearly loved. They won’t jump on your table; they’ll just wait patiently for a treat. Honestly, their happiness is contagious. 🍽️ Food Rundown: Hits and Misses - Salad: Dressing was pre-mixed. It was okay, but lacked a wow factor. - Bulalo: Tender meat and piping hot soup—great for the weather. But the flavor leaned too much toward beef cubes rather than traditional simmered broth. - Grilled Pusit: Soft, flavorful, and perfectly textured. A total win! - Grilled Pampano: Another star dish. Seasoned and grilled to perfection. - Kare-Kare: Thick sauce, but not in a good way. Felt heavy and lacked balance. - Garlic Rice: Soft, garlicky, and comforting. A definite yes. - Broccoli: Didn’t hit the mark. - Chocolate Drink: Just okay. - Chocolate Drink with Strawberry: Tasted like syrup—not worth the extra charge. 💳 Payment Options They accept credit cards, GCash, and cash—convenient for any traveler. 🚻 Toilet Check Clean and well-maintained. Always a plus.

If want to savor a traditional way of making hot chocolate, then this is the place to be. Along with a delicious selection of Filipino cuisine, nothing can satisfy the palate more. Located in the Camp John Hay, this is a must place to visit as there is no other place that serves the best Chocolates-late de Batirol.

We went at the place straight from the bus station and they actually let us in a few minutes before the opeing hours. The server, who is Micca is very accomodating and really pays attention! to us asking photo, to our table to our order. Kuddos to her! The food is tasty and very local. We love the place. It was a great experienced.

This Baguio classic serves authentic, thick, and bittersweet Filipino hot chocolate made with a batirol. Its rustic, cozy ambiance perfectly complements the traditional taste of the rich cacao tablea. A definite must-try for a comforting and genuine tsokolate experience.

It was really a nice experience to come back here. 7 years ago we went here and the tried the famous Batirol. The taste today is really improved! There are also much more options compared to before. We loved the food, was quite fast in serving the food. Overall we enjoyed our return and the new lines of food.

Café by the Ruins is a beloved establishment that captures the hearts of both locals and visitors alike. Nestled amidst the remnants of a garden theater from World War II, this charming café offers an enchanting al fresco dining experience steeped in history. The rustic atmosphere complements its menu, which features traditional Filipino dishes reimagined with local ingredients.
Stepping into Café by the Ruins felt like walking into a living canvas—walls whispering stories, food plated like poetry, and coffee brewed with soul. Every bite was comfort laced with artistry, from their signature bread to bowls that carried flavors of Baguio’s roots. The ruins don’t just hold history—they hold warmth, a space where creativity, community, and cuisine sit together at the table.

Finally got to the dine on this top rated restaurant in Baguio after 3 attempts On my last 3 attempt, twice was because there was a long queu in the waiting list already, the other attempt was we were already seated but took 40-50mins. And our order is still not served so we walk away. So when i got back in Baguio we tried to go super early. There was no one outside waiting and so many empty seats inside, but we were still told to wait - a clear sign this restaurant really lacks manpower. Hope we can call out the owner for this. Recommend going here super early in the morning like 7am. Food - the reviews were very true, everything we ordered tastes good and healthy. Even the coffee was superb with classic local sweetener and not your usual commercialized white sugar. Your order also comes with fresh fruits Price - little bit pricey on the side but definitely worth it. Ambiance - very homey and laidback. Staff - courteus and helpful ** TIP - if your coming here and already hungry, eat somewhere else. Timing and patience is key. They are understaffed so bring a little more kindness to them.

Café by the Ruins used to be one of my favorite spots in Baguio, but my recent visit was a bit disappointing. The food tastes quite different compared to a year ago, and there have been a lot of menu changes even the bread isn’t the same anymore. The place still has that rustic charm, but perhaps because of the rainy weather, there was a damp smell inside.

Cozy café with a lovely garden ambiance, perfect for a laid-back meal. Here’s what we ordered: - Longganisa Meal: 2/5 - Tapa Meal; 3.5/5 - Batchoy: 3.5/5 - Service: 5/5 all staff are very accommodating and friendly, special shout out to Danny, his warm and attentive service made the meal taste better! Worth visiting for the view, atmosphere and service, though the food could be improved

It’s been a while since I last visited Baguio, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Café by the Ruins now has a branch right in the city center. The location is convenient, the space is roomy, and it gives off a laid-back, casual dining vibe. As expected, the crowd picks up during peak hours, so lining up for a table is pretty common. During my visit, I tried their suman with chocolate (which I really enjoyed!) and their champorado, which for me could use a bit more flavor. Service was on the slower side, but hopefully that improves over time. Overall, it’s still a nice spot to check out if you’re craving the Café by the Ruins experience without heading too far out.

I went here for dinner together with my family on our last night in Baguio. We really loved the food. We ordered their baguio bagnet, kare-kare and a pasta. The staff were all approachable too. The food just took quite a long time to be served. But overall it was a good dining experience.

Finally able to dine here. We were planning to eat initally at Goodtaste at Otek but the queue is very long. Checked nearby areas and surprised that cafe by the ruins is just a walking distance away. We were 11th on the waiting list but able to get a table for 2 after 10mins wait. The area has lots of artworks! Most are for sale also. The lights are functional sculpture/art pieces also. We ordered the mountain and river salad - solo. The size is actually good enough as an appetizer for 2. 1st time to try a salad with watercress and grilled shiitake mushroom- super sulit! We had the vegetarian ravioli also. Not sure if it's a mainstay on the menu but it's also quite good. And the last one is the rice meal with bamboo shoots, ham, chicken. Tried to check the menu online but can't find it. It seems they update their menu every few months. Another reason to visit this place again.

Cafe Sabel is a charming restaurant and cafe nestled within the BenCab Museum in Baguio City, Philippines. Named after National Artist Benedicto Cabrera's muse, it offers a delightful dining experience with picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and a serene duck pond. The menu features an array of healthy dishes made from fresh ingredients, including the must-try Suman with Latik and the signature coffee blend known as BenCab Brew.
The cafe is located at the ground level of the BenCab Museum art gallery. It has a great variety of food and drink selections. All with the view that is stunning and breathtaking. It is a perfect end to seeing artworks and styles of the Cordilleras. Highly recommended!

Perfect spot to have a snack after admiring the masterpieces in BenCab Museum. Cafe Sabel is at the bottom floor of Bencab Museum. It's overlooking a beautiful garden. You cant see the garden when it's really foggy but nevertheless, you will still enjoy the ambience from its al fresco dining. Food is a hit or miss. Pumpkin soup was good. Bagnet pasta was great. Coffee was superb! Dynamite rolls were meh.

very good ambiance! the panini is a bit pricey but it can actually be shared by two. take note that they don’t do take-out for the drinks (good thing i had my tumbler). it was unplanned but we ended up eating here because the smell of coffee wafted upstairs hahah and it was convenient since there weren’t nearby places to eat. i actually didn’t know there was a cafe at the BenCab Museum. you can also choose to eat here first before exploring the artwork and sculptures.

Restaurant
Foggy Mountain Cookhouse, located in Baguio City, is a cozy restaurant founded by Chef Babes. The menu offers a diverse selection of comfort food, including Filipino classics and international favorites, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced locally. What sets this restaurant apart is its commitment to using fresh produce from the area. The restaurant's location provides one of the best views in Baguio City, with a picturesque setting and cool foggy air adding to its rustic charm.
I went to Foggy Mountain Cookhouse in late April 2024. As an American traveling to the Philippines for the first time it was complicated but well worth the complexity of getting there. For foreigners trying to dine here there are some things you must know. The accessibility of the place is somewhat limited in terms of parking. The day you plan to go I recommend taking a taxi. There are many reputable taxi services in Baguio available on Facebook. Facebook is also how you will make your reservation and order in advance. It is a policy to order in advance to ensure availability. At least the time of year I went. It was not exactly tourist season so my date and I were the only ones in the restaurant. It was really lovely, it was as if I had rented out the whole place to ourselves. We were greeted by our waiter and he showed us to a table outside with a great view of the mountain. As the evening carried on the fog rolled in and soon it was just us. Although the view is less impressive in the fog it is still very beautiful seeing the lights from the adjacent mountain. Some mosquitoes came out and the waiter was very accommodating and put out two cups with about 15 mosquito incense sticks to repel them. We were given a buzzer to ring our waiter to take orders or ask for anything specific. I was at first a little confused but to make a long story short, after our dinner we learned that Chef Babes was on Vacation and his Sous Chef was both our Chef and Waiter. He was absolutely incredible and he cooked everything to perfection. I would love to come again to have some of Chef Babes food, but what we had was hands down the best meal I have had in my life. We had an appetizer of spaghetti, my date got the Steak cooked medium well and I got the Lamb Shank. The Lamb was one of the most tender and succulent pieces of meat that I have ever had. The mix of flavors in the sauce were absolutely incredible too. The Steak was also very good but if I go back I am getting that lamb every time. It was the first time I ever had lamb too so if you are considering it, I encourage you. This was the first time I had Cheese Ice cream in the Philippines, I had no idea about it before coming here and it was really delicious with the bacon, I LOVED it! The Strawberry Icecream is a classic there too. Being Baguio the strawberries are the best in the world. I am a strawberry hater in the U.S. but they are so amazing in Baguio. The pricing is expensive for a dish in the Philippines but this place has food that rivals the best restaurants I’ve been to in America, including Gordon Ramsay restaurants. Taken that into account it’s amazing value for money. This place is truly a Diamond in Baguio and I hope I can return someday. Thank You Po 🙏

The place is/was an actual home turned restaurant, so the homey vibe is there... It was cozy and relaxing... just tranquil. The service was AMAZING and VERY HOSPITABLE. We ordered the following: 1. Steamed White Clams -- simple yet savory🥄🥄🥄🥄 2. Pasta with Smoked Salmon -- you can really taste the dill and smoked salmon🥄🥄🥄🥄 3. Cookhouse made Fries -- this was our favorite, we didn't need any dip whatsoever, had to reorder coz we totally enjoyed this 🤩😍🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 4. Mashed Potato -- 2nd fave after the cookhouse fries 🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 5. Cookhouse Lemon Iced Tea -- houseblend INDEED 🤩😍🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 6. Premium Artisan Ice Cream - Caramel/Vanilla with candy sprinkles, honeycomb crunch and topped with Cherries -- it looked your usual ice cream, BUT, the taste was really premium than your usual ice cream.🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 There was a tiny mishap though, coz I placed my order of Porchetta as our Main, and i was on the idea that the orders have already been confirmed, hence, i wondered why i was being asked for my orders again when i got there (which had some misinformation listed) and i didnt notice that the Porchetta wasnt listed coz we were preoccupied by the view of the place (being its our first time going there)... BUT... I let that slide coz what was served to us was all really amazing... but i hope that order placing process gets improved moving forward. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 Adding this as one of my Baguio Favorites to dine in... 🫰🫰🫰 And WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK to try their other dishes 😍😍😍

Foggy Mountain was the perfect setting for my early birthday celebration last night! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, with each dish impressing us with its unique flavors and presentation. The smoked salmon crostini was a refreshing and savory start to the meal, while the crispy squid fries were a delightful combination. The grilled boneless lamb was cooked to perfection, and the chipotle pork chop was a highlight of the evening, with its bold and smoky flavors. Paired with a glass of Cookhouse Rosé and Premium Cookhouse Red Wine, our meal was elevated to new heights. To finish, we indulged in the decadent cheese and bacon ice cream, a sweet and indulgent treat that left us both in awe. I was just hoping to have seen Koshka (resident cat). Sadly, the cat passed away. And of course, to have seen Chef Babes and thanked him for squeezing us in our last-minute reservation would've completed our experience. Overall, Foggy Mountain did not disappoint, and we left feeling grateful for the wonderful evening we shared.

Overall, we had a great experience. FOOD: We ordered Chipotle Pork Chop (for 2), Steamed White Clams (for 2), Crispy Squid & Fries (for 1). My favorite was the crispy squid. White clams were also delicious, the soup/sauce had a gingery taste which which was nice. Least we liked was the chipotle pork chop, it tasted ordinary for the price. The serving of our orders were just right for 3 pax. AMBIANCE: when we came, it was literally foggy. But when the fog subsided, you have a nice mountain view. The restaurant was literally the house of the owner, so it was very cozy and homey. SERVICE: Great service overall. The server was nice and courteous. The chef even asked to check how the food was. It is required to pre-order so when we arrived, the food ready in a few minutes (not much waiting time). OTHERS: You have to reserve and pre-order via Messenger or text. The restaurant is pet friendly. There is parking inside but road was sloped up, quite limited but seems to have road parking available outside. Will definitely try other dishes next time. :)

It was a very hearty dinner! Every dish was perfect on its own! I loved the tiny crunchy chick peas. Parking is enough on its driveway. We went here during valentine's, we just didn't feel the v-day vibes since it was very quiet despite the number of guests, no centerpiece etc. Nonetheless it was a good experience.

Salmon tartare was fresh but overseasoned? The porchetta - bland, quite tough. Skin is bot crispy? Lamb was ok for me but the others said it was delicious. My favorite would be the squid and fries. Went here on a weekday lunch. (We were the only customers) You have to contact them prior for reservation & pre ordering

Foggy eats 🍴 The way this place priced their food can't really deliver the quality you are expecting or maybe i just expect a little bit more. The lamb over mashed potatoes & green peas tasted like a regular estofado dish that we cook regularly at home but the thing is its all about the sauce and they lose the essence of that lamb. Not what I had in mind. Their prime ribeye steak on the other hand was tough, i think its a local beef if im not mistaken. Anyone who can cook a steak can do better. Try it for yourself! 😊 This Foggy place is a 2.1 🍎 out of 5 on the scale! 😁 #SolidFoodie🍎

Victoria Bakery Mabini is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, known for its signature cream puffs available in original, chocolate, ube, buko pandan, matcha, cookies and cream, and milk tea flavors. These flaky pastries are filled with custard and can be purchased individually or in boxes of 8, 12, or 20. The bakery also offers other items such as cakes and breads.
If you come from Session Road, lined up with a lot of branded and popular resto and bakeshops, you will be awed when you enter Victoria Bakery in Mabini street. The place is really unlike every stall you passed by. It feels like you are inside a five star hotel bakeshop. The place looks new, clean, and very brightly lighted. The line of customers gives you the idea which product their bestsellers are. I got what i needed and was not disappointed by the flavor and quality. Though prices are affordable, you tend to spend more here because the display is very inviting; so practice self-control😄 Regarding the well reviewed cream puff, i was also pleased with my purchase. The filling is not overly sweet. It keeps well inside the ref even after traveling back to Manila. The filling did not seep into the pastry; it is still fresh and not too thick. They’re still ok in 2 days refrigerated; and good as cold dessert. I’m glad i took the risk😃

We bought our pasalubong here since it was quite famous. We ordered cream puff original and chocolate since other flavors were not available. The queue is short and serving is fast. There are a lot of variety to choose from crinkles, croissant, and most common bakery breads. There is no dine in and mostly were just passing by to buy bread to consume on their own places. Chocolate and original were both so good! Must try to taste when you’re here in Baguio.

My friend mentioned that they liked the pastries at Victoria Bakery, especially the crème puff. Honestly, we didn’t know the exact location, and I had never been to this shop before. By accident, we found it when I made a wrong turn while following Google Maps. True enough, they have a wide variety of pastries, and above all, everything is very affordable. They also offer dine-in options and serve coffee. I’ll definitely go back to try their coffee products! The vibes are so inviting, with poinsettia plants that perfectly complement the cold and festive Christmas atmosphere.

We got the Original and Strawberry Cream Puff as baon on our way home and it was good for its price. I like the strawberry better but the original's custard filling is good too. They also offer a huge variety of baked goods but I wasn't able to take a photo. We went to the store on a Sunday around 11am and it was swarming with tourists getting their breads and pastries for pasalubong. The queue moves very slowly because despite having a lot of staff behind the counter and at the packing station, some of them are actually not fully utilized. Also, the line for buying cream puffs and for paying for the breads you took from the displays are the same so i think that also causes some delay.

Mount Costa in La Trinidad, Benguet? Five stars, and it’s no wonder this place is stealing hearts left and right! Tucked away in the cool, pine-scented highlands just a short 15-20 minute drive from Baguio City, this 6-hectare garden wonderland feels like stepping into a nature lover’s dream. With 24 uniquely themed gardens and 5,500 meters of winding trails, it’s a feast for the senses—think vibrant flowers, quirky art installations, and that crisp mountain air that makes you want to breathe deeper. Walking through the Yellow and Blue trails, you’re hit with one stunning setup after another. The Mirror Garden is a total standout—mirrors nestled among the trees create this magical, almost surreal vibe that’s perfect for fun photos or just soaking in the creativity. Then there’s the Music Garden, where you can tap metal instruments for some playful tunes, or the Inca-inspired garden with its fish pond and cultural nod. Each spot feels like its own little world, from the colorful Spectrum Garden with its rainbow ropes to the serene Zen Garden, ideal for a quiet moment of reflection. It’s not just about the plants (though there are nearly a hundred varieties to gawk at); it’s the way the gardens blend nature with art, making every step feel like an adventure. What makes it even better? It’s family-friendly to the core. Kids can run wild in the playgrounds, swinging and sliding while blending into the natural surroundings, and there’s even a pet-friendly policy, so your furry pals can join the fun. The staff are absolute gems—friendly, helpful, and sometimes you’ll even meet a member of the Acosta family, who poured their heart into turning their old strawberry fields into this eco-tourism gem. Food kiosks are scattered around, serving up tasty bites (their coffee and burgers get a thumbs-up!), and there are plenty of rest spots and clean comfort rooms, so you’re never left wanting. Sure, the entrance fee (around ₱200-₱350 depending on the package) might feel a tad steep for locals, and those with mobility issues might find the trails a bit challenging since wheelchair access isn’t fully there yet. But the peaceful vibe, the cool fog rolling in during the afternoon, and the sheer variety of experiences—from glamorous hiking to chilling in a rented Green Living Room—make it worth every peso. Whether you’re a solo traveler chasing serenity, a family looking for a fun day out, or a photographer hunting for that perfect shot, Mount Costa delivers. It’s a slice of paradise that feels like a love letter to nature and creativity, and I’m already itching to go back!

I'm absolutely speechless about the experience we have had here at Mount Costa! It is a nature park mainly themed around the Inca Civilization of Central America, though there are parts that are just there as to spark the curiosity of the visitors. First off, with the ticket, there's a different price for each package that you want to have: regular, with snacks, local, senior, and others that are available to choose from. Just note that each ticket is per head/person payment. There were a handful of areas to visit following different trails, but all were special in their own way; the view of the sky, the rustling trees, and of course, the fresh mountain air. The coffee shop within the park, Casey Beans, was the only one open. Although it's a small shop and had a simple menu, the foods and drinks were amazing; we were even surprised in how affordable they were! As for accessibility, there are some comfort rooms for some areas, although they are not very far from each other. And prepare to have a bit of endurance since you need to walk a couple of stairs to go through each part. If you are a nature lover or just thinking of visiting here, you'd probably need about half a day, maybe alone or with someone. Greatly recommended for anyone who wants to relieve their stress, hang out, or just want to have a little bit of tranquility. Overall, would definitely go again. We had a great time 🥰

Another one of my favorite places to unwind and relax with great ambience and great food! The quesadilla was perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a delicious blend of gooey cheese and flavorful mexican beef and veggies. The mushroom bacon cheeseburger, on the other hand, was a mouthwatering masterpiece. The juicy, tender beef patty was topped with pickles, mushrooms, crispy bacon, and melted cheese that created a harmonious explosion of flavors in every bite. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection, boasting a crispy and golden exterior while remaining incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. The flavor of garlic parmesan cheese and buffalo wings complemented the onion rings and potato chips on the side. Everything was perfect!

2nd Review from 3 to 5 Stars! Love how management takes feedback from customers seriously. It was a much better overall experience, excellent customer service plus the best Mongolian bbq we've tried in Baguio City! It deserves a repeat.

This place is always packed as well, great view and great for family dine ins. Their presentation is also quite generous same with their serving size. Great food!!

Hōka Brew 📍 Ben Palispis Highway, Tuba, Benguet Hōka Brew is a cafe/restaurant located at the second floor of The Podium Botique Hotel Building along Ben Palispis (Marcos) Highway near Baguio City proper. It boasts of a panoramic breathtaking view of the Benguet Mountains and true to it’s tag, it is truly beautiful! The interior has a wood theme, inspired by nature according to the owner. It has ample seating and huge tables for big groups. It’s outdoor seating is a bit limited, so I bet it’s first come first serve. They have a little stage which performers like acoustic singers and bands would play in some nights. Better check their page for schedules. They have a wide menu and serve numerous kinds of drinks aside from being a cafe. They also serve craft and local beers, wine and other alcoholic beverages. If you do come in the morning, they only serve their breakfast menu, and other items are available around 10 o’clock in the morning. We ordered the Hoka Full Breakfast that consists of waffles topped with whipped cream and sliced strawberries, sausage, ham, bacon and a sunny side up egg; and their beef tapa with a side of egg and pickled vegetables. The default is sunny side up egg but you can request it to be scrambled or well done. For drinks, we had a hot Matcha Latte (cute hearts) and Watermelon Shake (fresh fruit). While waiting for your food to be served from their open kitchen, you may take pictures in their balcony with the mountains and city as your backdrop. Definitely worth a visit if you’ll be going to Baguio. #GAPH #gastronomicladvetures #wheretoeatinBaguio #breakfast #Baguio #cafewithaview #restaurantwithaview #foodie #foodblog

The place looks very nice and cozy but I think it looks better at night because you'd get to see it with their lights on. They even have color pencils and paper mats on tables. Cute! Good place to hang out if you're a group. And of course they serve delicious food plus they have Mongolian buffet. Though what I liked the most is their 4 cheese pizza and the latte.

The ethnographic museum Museo Kordilyera is dedicated to the display and preservation of artifacts from the Cordillera Region, its peoples, custom, and tradition.
A must visit place in Baguio City. Unlike other museums, the exhibits are just enough for someone who is strolling around or just paying a visit. The architecture is also great. The place has a very wide parking area even on weekends; a cafe and a bookshop also operate at the museum. The exhibition usually changes every year so you can keep coming back. Wow! A real highlight of our trip! Museo Kordilyera is a museum that is equal parts beautiful and educational. I love how the design of the museum accentuates its unique location and cultural objects, and vice versa. I learned so much from the text of the exhibits, and seeing the fabrics in real life, up close, in all their glory added so much to the learning experience. There was also a UP Press bookstore upstairs, I think?, from which I bought 2 books about the Cordillera that I’ve only seen in this UP CU location. For adult museum-goers who love art, history, our country, or all of the above, I highly recommend visiting Museo Kordilyera. For UP alumni like us, make sure to bring your ID (or a photo of it) to avail the free admission

Great place to learn about the culture and history of Cordilleran people through the craft of weaving. The place needs some tune up with some flickering light bulbs but otherwise a great place to visit! They have a small souvenir shop with actual textiles.

Wonderful experience going around the school campus and the museum! We loved seeing the vibrant traditional clothing on display. The patterns and colors are truly beautiful!!!

It is recommended for those who want to learn more about Cordilleran culture. The current "Handwoven Tales" exhibit showcases textiles from different provinces and their production processes. UP students and alumni from any campus enjoy free admission.

Museo Kordilyera was surprisingly spacious despite it's small entrance. It's clean, informative and fascinating to learn different textiles of the Cordilleran. A must visit for the fans of Sagada weaving.

Step into the nostalgic ambiance of 50's Diner, an American-inspired restaurant located in the heart of the city. The diner offers a wide array of delectable dishes such as pasta, burgers, and milkshakes that will surely satisfy your cravings. Adorned with 50s memorabilia and a classic jukebox, this charming eatery provides a throwback to the retro era.
This charming little diner exudes a cozy and authentic vintage atmosphere. While smaller than your typical 50s Diner, its intimate size adds to its unique charm. The vintage decor and warm ambiance create a truly inviting experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, further enhancing the positive dining experience.

‼️check the images for your reference ‼️HONEST REVIEW ONLY 🍽 here's what we ordered: with our review & rating 🟠 SHE - 7/10 (it includes the ff below) ~ 1 cup of white plain rice ~ fried chicken - well-fried, flavorful and juicy ~ grilled porkchop - a bit dry but tasty ~ fish fillet - it's a cream dory fish fillet. well-fried and not salty ~ Chicken Sausage - a typical sausage that you can purchase from a supermarket. ~ A small serving of fresh veggies 🟠 The Famous 50's Burger with Fries and one slice of tomato and cucumber - 7/10 ~ a typical burger, nothing fancy about it. a bit of mayo with lettuce. the patty is well-cooked, not salty and bland. just the right flavor for a burger patty (i think beef and pork are mixed) 🟠 Chocolate and Strawberry Ice Cream Shake - 9/10 ~ we love the shake. not too sweet. and it's kind of creamy, possibly from ice cream. you can really taste the strawberry and chocolate flavor of it. 🚗 Parking ~ side/street parking only. but, Kuya Guard is there to assist ✨️ 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 Staff Service ~ it's funny cause they have this straight face, y'know like a poker face LOL may be they're tired or what? 😆 but yeah, they're kind of frowning. good thing is, after 15 mins they brought our ordered 😝

I didn’t expect it to be a little bit small! There were a lot of people when we went, so the service wasn’t very fast. We were a bit annoyed because there were three groups of people after us who got served their food first. Hahaha! The food was just okay, nothing too special. The place and the ambiance were the main highlights, I guess. Actually, their displays were mostly 50’s-themed, I think, and the tiles were cute. But yeah, it was still a nice experience dining there. The food is also affordable!

What you see is what you get: a very stylish 50’s-style diner. We loved the atmosphere and the food! I particularly enjoyed their strawberry shake.

We went here to eat dinner after visiting Baguio Museum. It's only four minutes away by car if there's no traffic. Luckily, there are not cars parked yet in front so we had an easy time parking. We were seated right away. There were only a handful of customers. There were more to come as dinner time approaches. We ordered the usual diner food: spaghetti, cheeseburger and fries? and milkshakes. We had the vanilla and ube milkshake. The ube milkshake was really good and I'd say highly recommended. Eventhough, it's really cold and raining, the milkshake is still a good experience. As for the food, you would say it's the typical taste of Filipino in an American dishes. The spaghetti is made from corned beef and tastes a bit sweet, the cheeseburger tastes like your usual burger from street vendors, and the all meat Gangsta meal is a rice meal with fried chicken, pork chop, Shanghai, and vegetables. They are all delicious but I want to highlight that if you're expecting American flavours, you'll be disappointed. However, if you'll focus on the atmosphere, the music, the presentation, and menu choices in the context that Baguio has been an American base during the American occupation and that they use local ingredients to create that American vibe, then you'll appreciate this diner better. We also shared a banana split which in hindsight might be too much since we ordered the ice cream milkshakes. We still enjoyed it but we we're quite full by this time. You can pay via cash and gcash. They have high chairs for toddlers. There is outside seating but it's not advisable when it's raining. The reason this is not getting a 5star in the atmosphere is because of the presence of mosquitoes. there's just too many that it's quite bothersome.
Ia L — Google review
Touts itself as an American 50’s style diner, burgers come plain, with mayonnaise and very flat, very Filipino style, no pickles or onions available (not very American style). I got about halfway through the burger and started hitting chunks of bone that was the end of me eating that burger. Only reason not an 1 star on food is the strawberry shake was quite good.
Andrew M — Google review
The place is overated. We ordered Guys on the hood, beef stew and spicy chicken but none taste good. Meat is not fresh and food is bland, the only good here is the servings and cheap price. Service is also slow.
Marvin A — Google review
The place is a downsized version of their branch in Session Road. Place is okay. Food is so-so and were served cold. Imagine eating pizza from the fridge. If there are other options, then try to avoid it. Or if you really want to visit this diner, go to the Session Road branch

Nestled within the lush surroundings of Burnham Park, the Baguio Orchidarium is a delightful botanical haven that beckons plant enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. This greenhouse showcases an impressive array of tropical flowers, with a special emphasis on stunning orchids. As you wander through this vibrant space, you'll discover not only exquisite flowering plants but also unique foliage varieties, cacti, succulents, and herbs—making it a true paradise for 'plantitos' and 'plantitas.'
My favorite place to unwind and buy plants ❤️🌿🌺 You just have to know what plants you really want to buy, then find the right store. ☺️ Daming plants and meron din parking space sa loob.

I did not notice this place until i walked back from burnham suites to the park. How i love seeing beautiful flowers into bloom. I just fell in love with its beauty. If only i can bring all of them home i did it already. But cannot, its too far away. So i just stare and gently touch them, smell them as i can. Flowers are really beautiful refreshes your eyes. Orchidaruim is too close to burnham park only. You can take photos but some shops lets you pay 10 pesos for capturing their beautiful flowers and plants.

Rebel Bakehouse is a game-changer in Baguio's culinary scene, offering a variety of delectable pastries with bold flavors and innovative brews. Located along Naguilian Road, this bakeshop and cafe has partnered with Hatch Coffee for their specialty coffee program. The spacious and peaceful setting provides a perfect refuge from the busy city, making it an ideal spot to savor their flaky and delicious croissants available in various flavors.
Disclaimer: I may have a different preference from you. :) Located just within the compound of the Baguio Cathedral, it is a good brunch place to dine in after attending mass. I went here on a Sunday, 10:00 AM, and there were more than enough seats inside. It is a good place to take a peaceful meal if you're alone. I tried the Beef Kimchi Rice, hot latte, and red velvet croissant. The Beef Kimchi Rice is good. It's quite filling. I bought the red velvet croissant because that's also what the female server recommended when I asked about their best sellers. The cream cheese filling inside the croissant is not too sweet. That's probably the highlight of my meal here. Although on the pricey side, it's still good to visit Rebel Bakehouse if you're in Baguio to try out their pastries.

Overall: This is a go to foodie splurge for the pastry gourmand taste ☺️ Food: So delicious. Tasted their food back when they started during the pandemic and the quality is still there, pasties are delicious and you can feel the love and care with each bite. Now, the love and care are still there. There are pastries that are appropriately priced, while other items might be overly expensive for others 😅 The smoked salmon in the croissant is just rightly salted, the sauce is creamy however it is a bit little (I prefer sauce/cream to be generous). The Leche Flan Danish is heavenly, overall it is not overly sweet, I would like that the danish itself is a bit more puffed or wide to balance the large Leche Flan which is creamy and caramely 😍 I tried the Burnt Basque Cheesecake as a takeout before and it was creamy and not overly sweet. Service: Staff is accomodating and others are friendly however I don't like that there is a service charge when I can just pick up my order at the counter when the order can be called, but that is just me and I hope the service charge is ethically given to the staff ☺️ Atmosphere: Wide dining area. I appreciate the open kitchen concept where you can view the pastries being made. The design has an industrial theme. I appreciate that there are a lot of fans making the area breezy to combat the heat.

Our first stop everytime we go to Baguio. Love their hot bonbon latte and pastries. Must try: ensaymada, white choco croissant, and tuna croissant. The beef kimchi rice was so so yummy the first time we tried it, when we came back it seemed a little far from what I remember. Staff are very friendly and approachable.

My bf liked the Beef Kimchi Rice. Lemon Soda isn't a soda at all, it tasted weird. Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders isn't that good considering it is priced around the Beef Kimchi Rice.. f overpriced I feel. Good Danish Leche Flan, Ok spanish latte. Rebel/bakehouse salad is ok, tons of lettuce in it. The place is neat, big and designed premium, even if there are a lot of people, you won't feel it is crowded. The staff are great. Overall, are we going back again? Nope. Definitely not. We'll just go somewhere more affordable.
Alysa A — Google review
Rebel Bakehouse is spot my partner heard good things about from Direk Tonet and Direk JP of AWKP. And seriously, it did not disappoint! Food & Pastries Everything we ate and all the pastries were incredibly tasty and looked so good you just wanted to dive right in. Bacon & Egg with rice - 5/5: Loved the thick bacon, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, and that touch of maple syrup really made it. Breakfast Platter - 4/5: Good flavors overall, but the sausage was a bit thin for my taste, especially without rice. The bacon was different but still yummy. It also came with veggies and two sunny-side-up eggs. Classic Pan Au Chocolat - 4/5: I liked that the chocolate wasn't too sweet. Just wished there was more chocolate filling throughout, not just at the bottom. Leche Flan Danish - 5/5: A total must-try! So creamy, it just melts. I'm already planning to get this again. Drinks Affogato - 5/5: They use Carmen's Best ice cream, and it's a perfect match with the espresso. Hot Latte - 3/5: This one was a bit bland and arrived cold, so we had to add sugar syrup to fix it. Atmosphere & Service The staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a big dining area, including outdoor seating, and lots of fans to make the Baguio breeze even better.

Redzel's Baguio is a small shop located along Legarda Road that offers delicious ube halaya and strawberry preserves. The ube halaya, or purple yam jam, has gained popularity on social media due to its rich purple color and is used in various desserts. Customers can enjoy a complimentary taste before making a purchase and witness the jam and preserves being made in the kitchen on the side. The products are not overly sweet and have excellent quality.
I have been passing by Redzel everytime on the way to my Condo but it was only today that i discovered that the Ube Haleya that Baguio can be proud of is just nearby. I just ordered the smallest bottle but the day isnt over yet and its almost finished, its that Good! And the Sweetness Level is just Spot On. Definitely my Favorite Ube Haleya now! And no long lines too! Ube Haleya last only 3 days at Room Temp but it will not even last a day! Lasts 7 days in the Fridge.

Take note: December 29, 2024 at 3:10PM We just bought total 6 bottles (2 ube flan + 4 ube). But the lady who sold to us was NOT approachable! It is disappointing! She is so much different from the previous personnel who handles the onsite selling. She exudes the aura that we owe her in buying the ube! She does not smile. Ube Flan has remaining 2 bottles but she keep asking how many bottles we will buy! When we buy 3 then she say only 2 left! Moreover, amidst buying 6 bottle, we ask for extra small ecobag and she gave us zip lock plastic! Why??

I read a lot of positive reviews with their ube and strawberry jams! It has different taste compared the other local jams here in Baguio. Smoother and richer. Keep in mind that the shelf life is only 3 days coz it has no preservatives. If inside the fridge, 1 week.

It is a hidden spot to chill. The road going here is a bit narrow but parking space is available for those who visit with their cars. Some of the animals are still being constructed/ painted but most parts of the place are available to see . It is very cute and you can step inside some of the animals mouths and pretend to be eaten. The kids enjoyed it here. They were amazed by the art and creativity that was put to this place. The air is fresh and I loved sitting at the mushroom table.

Cement sculptures attached to the rocks. It could be attractive for the kids maybe. In the dry season (beginning of February) and most of the plants in bad shape it looked upsetting. Half an hour is enough to finish the whole trail with stops to take photos Entrance fee is 100 php.

From town, we jogawalk going here (5.6km). It's more or less 200m away from the main road. There's an entrance fee, 100.00 for regular while senior and students are discounted. There's a parking area. I love how the place was maximized as it's not the usual wide ecopark size I expected. Rocks were made into creative stone sculptures you will surely enjoy especially if you're a fan and young at heart. There's a hanging bridge, a wall to climb, a cave to enter and more. Place is instagramable for me. They do have a snack house but with very limited options (instant coffee, soda, water, juice, biscuits and instant noodles). Hope they add more. Admins are kind and accommodating. If you go here, bring snacks and own car (dogs every kasi along the way going there from main road) Will I go back here? Yeah after sometime.
Sheena G — Google review
I had the opportunity to visit the place in 2021 and found it more enjoyable compared to the present. While there have been many improvements, the untrimmed plants vines create a congested atmosphere and may obstruct your path, especially when it rains and your clothes may get wet. Additionally, there is a section of the place that appears to be closed, possibly due to ongoing renovations. In the past, there used to be food vendors on top, which I greatly enjoyed. However, currently, there are no food vendors available. Nevertheless, you can still find a few snacks at the registration area. I hope that there will be further improvements and maintenance in the future.

La Sabores Cartel is a new addition to the dining scene in Baguio, conveniently located near Mines View Park. The restaurant offers a Mexican culinary experience and boasts a picturesque view of the Itogon mountains. One of its highlights is the option to customize your order from their selection of flavors when you avail their unlimited wings-tacos-fries-burgers promo for an affordable price.
We arrived at La Sabores Cartel at around 11 on a Saturday morning. This is just a walking distance from Mines View Park. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere and surroundings. The place is also clean and doesn't have any unpleasant smell. The staff were also polite and didn't have a bad attitude. We ordered beef birria for our snacks, it was served after 15 minutes. The beef birria was served with a bunch of sauces and freshly cut and cooked fries. It cost us around 330 pesos and it can feed two people. The consomme sauce was good especially when paired with the taco and the fries. Their habanero salsa tastes very good. It was hotter than other sauces as it should be and has the great balance of taste and spiciness. Their food is quite cheap but it does not affect the quality of their product. My partner and I had a great time dining with them. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Taqueria in Baguio 🌮 Got the burrito, quesadilla, chochinita, birria & more. This is one good Taqueria. Much better than the ones in the malls. Not your typical fast food commercial flavors. Everything is just satisfying even the salsa & the sauces but the tortillas are a little on the sweet side to accommodate the pinoy palate nevertheless portions are shareable & rich in flavors. Just skip their burgers & focus more on the tacos! You'll like it. 😋 The sabor is a 4.1 🍎 out of 5 on our scale! 😁 #SolidFoodie🍎
Carlo T — Google review
The burrito was delicious! I had the chicken burrito, and my fiancée went with the shrimp burrito—both were solid choices. The carne asada fries were just okay; unfortunately, they were served cold, which took away from the experience. Service could use some improvement, but overall, it’s a decent Mexican restaurant—speaking as a Mexican myself.
Roquie H — Google review
Unique ambiance. Went there at night so we weren't able to check out the view from their verandah. It was kinda gloomy but it might have been the ambiance management was after. Food is awesome and reasonably priced. Tried their best sellers: Beef Biria & the Mexican Cheese burger. We sure were not disappointed. Highly recommended. Had to get the burger to go as the biria was enough to stuff us full. Dishes came with fries. The dips and sauces were very good. The biria sauce was like spicy bulalo broth. Didn't let it go to waste. Service is nice. Recommend going there during off hours and on weekdays as parking will be a challenge. Walking distance from Mines View.
Hector V — Google review
Food:3.5/5 Ambiance:2/5 The price justifies the serving because of the generous serving size of side dishes. Don't expect much on the birria tacos, though; the consomme was disappointing, and it has no cheese, but It was good nonetheless. The quesadilla and Mexican burger are a must-try. If you are looking for an aesthetic place, this is not the place.
G A — Google review
Great ambiance and beautiful views of the rolling hills of Baguio. We ordered cheese quesadillas, shrimp tacos, and pulled pork burrito. Overall, flavors and ingredients are quite basic. The spicy salsa is the most authentic and flavorful of the sauces. But the cheese does not melt properly, and the other salsas are not made with fresh ingredients. For a cool, unique setting and something different, I recommend the place. For authentic Mexican food and good value for your money, there are better options in Baguio.
Brendan R — Google review
There are a lot of unavailable items in their menu but what we ordered were scrumptious! We were surprised how big the servings were. If you want a full tummy, one burrito is already enough with its contents. Very easy to locate since it is judt near mines view hotel. We sat at the narrow balcony area with the view of few city lights view while enjoying the cold breeze. Only downside is that their common restroom was very smelly and the door doesn't have a lock. A stool was inside (which I assumed since it's what I did lol) to use it for blocking the door from inside.

Amazing food! We had our first dinner date as husband and wife here, and it didn't disappoint! Perfect recovery/stressbuster/foodtrip! The wings are perfectly cooked, the flavors are just right. The cheese quesadillas are godsend! Kudos to the chef!

Toy museum
Nestled along Longlong Road, Campfolkswagen is a delightful gem in Baguio City that has emerged during the pandemic, attracting visitors with its unique charm. This museum-cafe offers an extraordinary experience where you can savor delicious snacks and beverages while surrounded by an impressive collection of Volkswagen memorabilia. The owner, Sir Roland Cruz, provides guided tours through his extensive 2,500-piece collection for a nominal fee.
THIS PLACE NEEDS MORE RECOGNITION!!! Such a hidden gem amongst the overly touristy places nearby. This is a must-visit!! Such an impressive collection of everything Volkswagen! There are 2 ways to reach the actual museum, one is thru a number of flights of stairs....and another easier route down the road, sa may kanto ng waiting shed, may daanan dun ng sasakyan and will lead straight to Campfolkswagen. We wish we knew about the 2nd route..hahah not gonna lie, going down that flight of stairs was kind of scary, but it did give us amazing views!! Upon arriving, you'll be immediately greeted by a customized motorcycle with a VW beetle rear and engine! My BF who is a car/motorcycle enthusiast was amazed right away! It was a great start. Ground Floor: CAFE We were in awe when we saw the view! It was so mesmerizing. It was really nice just sitting there in silence for a few good minutes and taking it all in. Watching the clouds roll on to the houses on top of the mountain. We ate at the cafe first. The cafe area was also filled with VW and other vintage memorabilia! Even the plant pots were painted with VW designs. There were also musical instruments you can try, such as kalimba and a drum. Food was good naman! Not as bad as other reviews here say. It was simple, but straightforward, in terms of taste. No frills. Lower Ground: MUSEUM & SHOP There was a city-wide blackout during our visit, so we didn't get pictures of the Museum part. But we still enjoyed it nonetheless. The displays were so interesting we really brought out our flashlights just to read and look at the displays. Was really really amazed at the concept of the timeline display, wherein key moments in PH history was enumerated alongside which VW model was popular at that time! It was amusing and at the same time, educational. I also like how each display was meticulously done, especially that Yolanda display, where the VW diecast display was made to look exactly like the picture. I think if it's possible to collect everything about Volkswagen, the owner has probably done it here. Lowest Floor: GALLERY Aside from being a collector, we learned here that the owner is also an artist! In the Gallery, were artworks, still all VW-themed. And there was also a workshop there. Super cool. We also got to talk to Sir Roland, the owner, collector and artist of the place. And we learned a lot about his interesting life and career. He is also a curator, has a background in architecture, also loves music, and is over-all a really cool guy. Really enjoyed our experience here, and I hope this place gets the recognition it deserves. Must be another Baguio destination staple! Ituhog nyo na pag pupunta kayo sa Igorot Stone Kingdom at sa Tam-awan Village! Pero kahit sadyain nyo lang sya ng mag-isa, worth it parin. Pramis!

This place is worth a visit. You will see sir Roland's personal collection of Volkswagens toys, figurines and the history of Volkswagen in the Philippines. The place also has a cafe that has a menu of coffee, rice meals, and snacks.

If you are looking for a museum that features old cars like the beetle, this is the place for you! They also have a cafe where you can enjoy their coffee and snacks. The retro styled cafe and museum brings you back to the olden days. Although there is a minimal entrance fee for the museum, it is worth the price. It takes you back to the olden days of baguio, how baguio used to look like. Food is okay, and you get to enjoy the pine trees while sipping your barako. The owner and staff are very accommodating too! With parking space.
Adrielle H — Google review
Lots of Folkswagen!!! A precise and brief description of the history of the People's Car can be seen here. 2 floors down full of Volkswagen Collections. They have a minimal fee for entrance. Love the vibes and the owner is very accommodating and friendly.

Homey, quirky, well-researched. Good food! Good history-pop and beyond 🙌 There is parking right on site, just drive down the incline. Sometimes parking atop can be negotiated too.

We found this gem more or less accidentally. It was a rainy day and we needed an indoor activity so we went there to explore the museum. The owner gave us a tour around the museum and told us some very interesting stories about the history of Volkswagen and the Philippines. Definitely a 5/5 rating If you are into Volkswagen, popculture and/or history you should definitely visit Campfolkswagen.
Der H — Google review
A nice humble toy museum, with interesting displays, a small simple restaurant, very accommodating staff and friendly owner. Delighted to support this business. Parking on the road level can accommodate at least 3 to 4 vehicles; then at least 2 parking slots right in front of the establishment.

3.5/5 The café is about 35sqm and has 5 tables and has great vintage decorations. you will be greeted by a cute pup. When you go there, try to bring some dog treats :) You need to walk some several flight of stairs before you can enjoy your coffee :D We had breakfast so we just decided to take some light snacks. We ordered Quesadilla, Nachos and Soda in can. Price: the prices on what we ordered are actually okay. not expensive. Food: -The portion is okay. the taste is not too good though, a little below "Okay". Nachos has about a spoon serving of meat. if you look at it, it is almost like it has no meat on it. The Quesadilla was better than the Nachos. Nachos: 2/5 Quesadilla: 3.5/5 Place: - The place is decorated with lots of vintage decoration. If you want to see more, there is a museum you can check below the cafe, you just have to pay 60.00 for the entrance. The view is really awesome too! Parking: - The parking is an open space near the main road. it can accommodate up to 4 cars. Wifi: - They have free wifi!!!! I did not try it though, I have great mobile data coverage. Staff: - Good service and friendly staff.

Tudor in the Pines is a charming estate nestled in Baguio's pinewood forests, offering five cozy Airbnbs including glass treehouses like Pine Cone and Pine Needle. These unique accommodations are perched 30 feet above the ground and connected by a hanging bridge to the main structure. The Tudor House, their largest dwelling, features a sky roof and glasshouse lounge ideal for capturing post-nuptial photos.
I very much enjoyed my stay at Tudor in the Pines and the Pinecone Treehouse. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, private, and very Instagram worthy. The property truly is beautiful. What really stood out to me was the hospitality and kindness of the hosts and staff. I highly recommend this stay!

We stayed at Pine cone treehouse recently. It was a lovely experience overall. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it a great getaway spot. The surrounding and glass cabin was breathtaking, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. That said, I didn’t realize beforehand that the stairs inside the cabin were so steep. For families with young children or anyone with mobility issues, this could be a significant concern. Adding safety features, like a handrail or a gate, could make it more accessible for everyone. Despite this, we had a great time and enjoyed the unique charm of the cabin. It’s a wonderful place for those who can manage the stairs, and I’d recommend it for couples or families with older children. Thank you for hosting us!
Saan M — Google review
I had high hopes for my stay but unfortunately it ended up being the worst place we stayed in the country. First of all, there were planned electricity outages for most of our stay that the host did not alert us about (or we would have cancelled) - this meant that we had no air conditioning or hot water, and we literally had to pay to go to another hotel during the day since the heat was so unbearable. There is also a camera outside the bedroom that can very clearly see in that we are not told about, I find this really inappropriate and it should be removed. They do warn you about noise from dogs but it goes far beyond this - it is next to a busy road so you hear honking all night long and roosters as well - we literally did not sleep for two nights even with earplugs in. Also since there are no restaurants nearby and no way to cook at the site you are basically stuck ordering food all the time. We really wanted a mountain getaway, but this is definitely not it - go elsewhere.

Beautiful view of Farmville in front of the Cafe. Food looks appetizing and delicious 😋 but service was somehow slow during our visit. Nice stop over and unique inverted architectural design of the cafe 🙂 👌 😌.
Fritzie B — Google review
A hidden gem, mainly because unless you look real hard, you won't be able to locate this place. Manong Rey, the in-house personnel, was really accommodating. He, as well as the whole place embodies the famed Ilokano hospitality. I've been to numerous places, and Ilokano hospitality is definitely up there. The Pine Cone, our accomodation for 2 nights, was incredibly beautiful. You need to use a hanging bridge to get there though, so keep that in mind. Since the hanging bridge wobbles, whenever someone crosses the bridge, the Pine Cone (treehouse) wobbles along with it (but only a little). My wife and I loved the glass walls/ceilings, especially when it rained. It was very relaxing, and there were also minimal external noise. So if you want hear nature, then you got it. A few nit-picks from my wife (but it doesn't really ruin the experience): - the stairs in The Pine Cone is a little narrow, and may be dangerous to people with big feet - the lighting in the bathroom; the natural light works great, but when it's night time, it's hard to take a shower if you can barely see what you're doing My wife and I recommend that if you choose to stay here, do yourself a favor and stay for at least 2 nights.

Tudor in the Pines, one of the most luxurious lodging facilities in Baguio City is dedicated to provide a relaxing and rejuvenating stay! Divided into different rooms and cottages with each unique feature you can surely find the perfect accommodation for your friends and family! This place is also great for intimate celebrations, book an overnight stay and celebrate with up to 10 pax at the Tudor house for smaller groups you may choose the Forest Terraces, Garden Terrace or Royal Cottage which can hold 4-6 pax or better yet book the whole facility and enjoy up to 30 pax :)

This little cafe that is located at San Carlos Heights offer's great ambiance, food, and view. Our server was so patient in our every needs even though she walks around serving others (she's also friendly). Overall we had a great time catching up with a happy tummy. The pizza and drip coffee are highly recommended and must try!!! 🙂 ** We'll sure come back**

The cafe is kinda far away, and finding a taxi to go back to the city proper is challenging. However, I can say that the food and the view is worth it! Love the burger and their hot chocolate is my favorite so far out of all the cafes I've tried. It would be great to see the view during sunset with clear skies!

The location is a bit tricky but the view, especially if you chance to catch a sunset makes up for it. plus.. the service especially from and of the owners who are warm, hospitable and very entertaining is worth the adventure.. plus their drinks are great and their food-delicious!!!❤️❤️

This is a great place to view the sunset and if u want to relax from a busy week! It is perfect to come around 5-6 (to watch the sunset). I find it pricey though especially the beverages. I ordered lemongrass tea and I was expecting a freshly brewed lemongrass but to my disappointment, I was served tiny bits and pieces of it. The price is not worth it.
