Beach
Murazzi Spiaggia libera is a historical construction built by the Venetians in the 1700s to defend the banks from lagoon water erosion. It replaced an earlier structure made of stones and wooden piles. The beach is easily accessible via Buses A & B, offering a quieter atmosphere compared to neighboring paid beaches. Visitors can enjoy sunbathing, painting, and beautiful sunrises at this peaceful and free beach on Venice Lido island.
It’s a public beach. Personally I prefer this part of Lido because it’s less crowded, but then you wont have the sunshades and bars.. depending on the day and the weather you may find algae on the beach. The water is not deep at all and it’s a perfect place for kids to play.
Roxana — Google review
Public beach, which was very easy to get to. We purchased a 24-hour public transportation pass. We took the water taxi then took the bus. You can rent umbrellas and chairs if needed. It's very congested when you first enter. We took a left and walked about 100 meters and found plenty of space to relax. They have toilets and an outdoor shower to freshen up along with a cafe for food and drinks.
Ralfie F — Google review
Garbage. As all such places in Italy for those, who don't want to pay for the service. When you walk along this beach you feel like you'll be killed in a moment.

I sat there and did some water color painting. The weather had just opened up so I assume overtime when sun shines more people will be there. Peace and quiet .

Venezia Spiaggia Blue Moon is a lively sandy beach with sun beds, umbrellas, and an outdoor restaurant offering entertainment. During winter, the beach clubs are closed but there are still access points to the beach. Visitors can enjoy a serene atmosphere and beautiful shells while kids have space to play freely. The option of splurging on a front-row bungalow provides a pricier but worthwhile experience with clean facilities and decent food at the snack bar.
Very nice and clean beach. You pay up to 20 euro for umbrellas and sun lounger. For additional lounger is 7 eur. To use toilets and showers you give 5 euro deposit and they give you special chip.

Was really great place!!

There are three main areas to rent umbrellas: fun area (family), enjoy, and comfort (no children). You can also pay extra to sit in the front row closest to the beach. The front row at comfort was 55 euros for two people. Bars to purchase food and drinks and a clean washroom, change room and shower facility are included with entrance.

Long beach line and very beautiful beach with direct bus stop a few meters away

When you visit Venice, you should take time to have a sun bath :) It's clean, it's soft sand and warm water. Maybe you ain't the only person there but hey... We loved it here
D. R — Google review
Beautiful beach, free of charge. However you have to pay for toilet and shower 1 euro each. I liked that they have bins so you don't have to take your litter with you. Also have restaurants and bars and a little shop where you can buy stuff you need on the beach!
Nikolett F — Google review
We ventured off the main island of Venice to go to Lido so we can have some beach time. Unfortunately the cheapest bungalows were all booked up so we decided to splurge for one on the front row. It was pricy but still half the price of a bungalow at one of the water parks back home and not nearly as nice. The bathrooms were clean and the snack bar had some decent food. The water was calm and fairly warm early in the day but later the wind picked up. Also the beach wasn’t that crowded that day. Not like Santa Monica on a summer weekend.

Des Bains 1900 Beach Club is a well-maintained and clean beach club with a wide and pristine beach area. Under new management since April, the club has undergone positive changes to enhance the overall experience. While some find it expensive, others believe it's worth the price for its comfort and amenities, including umbrellas, chairs, hot showers, and toilets. The snack bar offers typical options but with weak and pricey drinks.
We went with my friend for one day at the weekend and it was an amazing experience. We enjoyed ourselves and had a good rest. The beach club is clean and beautiful. Maybe the price is a bit pricey but it deserves it because the place was not that crowded.
Ainura — Google review
Who is running this company?! Are you people completely asleep at the wheel? This place has become a complete embarrassment. I booked a full week — not for this circus. Yesterday, I witnessed ten beach staff members surround and intimidate a couple for no apparent reason. Today? I had to watch your guys harass my daughters. That’s not just unprofessional — it’s disgusting. This used to be a classy, respected destination. Now? It feels like no one is in charge, standards are gone, and common sense left the building a long time ago. Keep going like this — and you’ll end up just like the hotel: irrelevant and empty. Sort yourselves out. Before it’s too late.
Julius — Google review
This was a really nice experience. The only con is the distance from the loungers to the sea but I don’t think they can control that. The shower and toilet facilities why great/normal. The bar/cafe where we had our lunch was great. Good sun loungers easy to manoeuvre. But it’s worth bearing in mind that you can’t escape the sun. Overall lovely beach and warm sea.
Jennifer H — Google review
Watch out for the scam salespeople that come by your chair. Enjoyed an afternoon under an umbrella for 5€ more than the online price but nice beach and good swimming. Good showers and bathrooms.
Z B — Google review
The beach itself is beautiful. However, the people are not kind. We went on a cloudy afternoon and most of the chairs were empty. We paid for a daily rental and were put in the back because of seasonal rentals (who were not currently present). We were told we needed to move back to the back. We explained we could not see our kids in the water and that if we had to sit in the back with no one there we would need to be refunded. The refund was denied. Multiple people continued to tell us we needed to move out of the chairs even the approximately 80% of them were not occupied. We don’t understand why it mattered to people we weren’t bothering when the chairs were empty. Just figured people were being unkind. We hadn’t spoken to anybody, didn’t have loud music on, we were just sitting watching our kids. I would not recommend this place.
Meagan B — Google review
We went to the blue moon beach but it was full so we walked down to this beach. We got a cabana for 125 euros. It was expensive and you don’t really get any service. You need to walk up to the bar and order. They speak very little English. We got there late so if you come early there are chairs on a nice grassy area with no view of the ocean. The drinks are cheap and you just need to ask for a bucket and ice. The location Is beautiful, the water was warm. Look up the history of the old hotel behind that is now closed. I hear a COIMA purchased the hotel so I’m sure good things are to come.
Adam L — Google review

Spiaggia Lungomare d'Annunzio is a spacious public beach offering swimming and seasonal amenities, such as umbrella and chair rentals. It's an ideal spot to unwind away from the hustle of Venice, with options to rent umbrellas, sunbeds, and changing cabins. While the sand can get hot, there are nearby snack and drink vendors. The warm waters make for a delightful swim, while a stroll along the beach reveals protective measures against high waters.
Wonderful sunny beach. Renting an umbrella and sun chairs is reasonable for all day. You do need to bring sandals or flip-flops because the sand is VERY hot. You can leave them at the water's edge and no one bothers them. The water is warm and beautiful. FYI tops are optional.
Julia E — Google review
wonderful 🏖️ in Lido with a side out café. Good place to take a break from Venice.
Padmapriya G — Google review
Went early to the beach (from Venice Gardini) and used paid entrance to the beach with umbrella and sun bed. It was worth it. Long ,sandy and beautiful beach. Local restaurant (Circus) under huge tent serves very good pizza and cold beer.
J H — Google review
Beach is very wide and long, water warm and clean however due to the sand don't expect it will be a cristal clear. A lot of shells on the sand so watch your steps. Sand very, very hot. Sun beds, towels umbrellas, changing rooms, showers - everything is paid. Shower costs 1euro for 80 second! Lido is not far away from St.Marco, it's only 20 minutes by water tram, so if you would like to rest a bit from overcrowded Venice, this is a good choice anyway.
Przemek S — Google review
Nice walk along the beach. They have built a sand dyke along the beach to protect the installations due to very high waters experienced a couple weeks ago. The beach is closed for now. Sure it will all be back to normal by this coming spring.
Hayes W — Google review
Beautiful.. DOESN'T describe beauty this region. Relaxing touring the beautiful homes , yard and shops.... Ocean adriatic sea ( on the beach )
Mack S — Google review
Good beach to spend some time relaxing away from the main city of Venice. Umbrellas and sunbeds are available to rent as well as changing cabins. The sand can get hot so you may want to take beach shoes. There are snacks and drinks available nearby and it is not far from a main street with more bars and restaurants on.

Palazzo del Cinema, located in the Lido di Venezia, is a true gem for movie lovers. The building itself is a stunning example of modernist architecture, designed by Italian architect Luigi Vietti in 1937, and it continues to serve as a grand backdrop for the Venice Film Festival each year. The cinema offers a large and comfortable auditorium that is equipped with state-of-the-art projection and sound systems, ensuring an exceptional cinematic experience for its visitors. Simply loved the place. Beautiful period building with everything huge with high ceilings and grandure which makes your feel under some spell. As you enter the building your feel like you have travelled back in royal times when everything used be royal and magnificent. Located in the lovely Lido faxing the sea the only word which defines it is grand. Staircase is huge vast and as per building grand. Beautiful fresco and long curtains with the splendid use of marble.

If you're a movie lover, you need to come to venice! It's extremely crowded tho, so be prepared 😂 The red carpet is huge and you have a 99% of seeing someone famous. In sala grande its best to reserve seats as far away as possible, because the screen is huge.

Went to the La Biennale di Venezia Cinema 2022 / Venice Film Festival. The Sala Grande/Palazzo del cinema was extremely nice. We went to the Premier of 'Bones and All' on the Friday night. The staff seemed very friendly, although there was a small queue for drinks it took a while to serve People however the drinks were very cheap. 2 glasses of prosecco and a bottle of water was only €10, I don't know if that was a mistake but I anticipated much higher prices.
Michael G — Google review
Worst bloody service. The ticket teller sold us tickets for wrong date and I did specify the date twice. Got refused at the cinema and after talking to three different employees, missed the show. Then they refused to change it to later screening and refunded our tickets without apology. We had to line up from the back of the queue again and then there were no tickets left. It was during the film festival. I'm done.

Lido Venice Beach, a 12-kilometer strip of sand, was Europe's first beach resort and a fashionable destination for royalty and celebrities in the early 20th century. Today, grand hotels still own beautiful fine-sand beaches where guests can enjoy for a fee. Public beaches are located near the church of San Nicolo at the north end of the island. This area is beloved by locals who escape to its shores on weekends to unwind from city life.
Not the best sea that I swam in (it was very wavy and blurred) yet it felt great to visit here for a day. I rented an umbrella with sun chair for 20€ and also had good cafe and croissant 🥐 I came here from Venice with a boat, which also was a nice trip
Esin H — Google review
Superb beach stretches for miles, lots of nearby local facilities in Lido, 15 mins from City of Venice.
Jim M — Google review
A highly underrated beach only 30 minutes via Ferry from the heart of Venice. It was well worth the visit, the walking portion was long but there were areas to stop and rest if needed. Or there was a bus line available if you're really exhausted. There were SO many shells on the beach, made for some fun shell-hunting. Waves were low, the sand was soft and the water was shallow enough for kiddos to play! One thing I didn't love, you have to pay to use the restrooms! $1-$2 per person to use the toilets.
Taylor M — Google review
Well. Free so not 3xpected much, however when we asked where is the toilet and how we can access, the lady with the sunbrella shouted on us, what we want in the toilet... Unfortunately very dirty, people half nude which not appropriate front of the kids also. Next time we will go to the paid side.
Monika G — Google review
Went to the free beach and there were many bad impressions. The place looked rundown. There were broken signs telling that there are no life guards and you are on your own. The guard towers had red flags (I interpreted it as a warning sign), yet people were swimming and it didn't seem dangerous. There was a lot of trash in the sand. A couple of annoying carpet sellers. Tractor wheel tracks all over the beach next to the water. So the place felt unmaintained. The water was nice though. So it's possible to have a good time here. Just too bad that nobody seems to care about maintaining the free beach.

Nice beach. We went to the free beach around 600m away from the pay beach. I agree about paying for showers and change rooms for cost of the beach, but the toilet!? The changerooms are pretty dirty, and there are no doors for the showers…
Cara P — Google review
The whole beach is too commercialized. There was only 1 small part which is free and rest was paid. The free part had no tourist facilities. And the people trying to rent umbrellas keep haunting you again and again.

If you're seeking a more off-the-beaten-path experience in Venice, consider taking a boat to the island of Sant'Erasmo and spending some time at Spiaggia del Bacan. This beautiful beach offers calm waters protected by the surrounding sandbars. With few boats and visitors, it's an ideal spot for relaxation. You can also find amenities such as an ice cream truck and a restaurant nearby.
water is really warm! and there's loads of crabs in the shallows. there is a lot of algae, and be careful swimming when there are speedboats in the water
Lailah — Google review
This place is really wild and left to the nature. The beach is full of algae, the water has its life. You can see here many little hermit crabs and huge regular crabs.
Jasper O — Google review
This long sheltered beach has good sand but lots of dead kelp and I did see some jelly's. Certainly not as good as the Lido beaches, but probably not nearly as crowded either. I was there in April and the water was still way to cold to swim. So it was no surprise that the beach was deserted.

Restaurant
Marco Polo is a popular restaurant in Venice known for its Venice-style food. The place can get busy, so it's recommended to arrive early. The menu offers a variety of meat and seafood options, with limited vegetarian choices. The service is friendly and efficient, and the staff is welcoming. Customers have enjoyed complimentary dishes like bean foam and cuttlefish soup. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of food justifies it.
Lovely restaurant located in the heart of Venice with delicious traditional local food and a very attentive staff. The decor is very warm and inviting with black-and-white photos on the walls and jazz playing in the background. I had a lovely meal with fresh grilled shrimps and langostines and a fish & seafood sampler plater all wonderfully prepared and delicious. Prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent.
Brian M — Google review
Absolutely fantastic food, and even better service. We had the scallops, rigatoni with pesto, gnocchi, squid ink pasta, linguine with crab, and the sea bass. All were delicious. One of, if not the best meal we’ve had in Italy. Highly recommend!
Samantha J — Google review
It was honestly the best pasta that we had. The service was also absolutely fantastic. No upselling, he even split the side salad for my dad and I because it was so big that we didn’t need two side salads. The salad was absolutely fresh and delicious. The pasta was also super fresh. The Chianti was also really good. It remains a little pricey (Pasta off of the special menu at 26€) but it was worth every cent.

We started with an appetizer of a variety of seafood prepared many ways. This was a fun way to try several new things. My main course was pasta with tuna and artichokes and was delicious.
Julie D — Google review
We had the most amazing meal of our entire Venice trip here. Ricardo saved us the perfect table and took such good care of us! The food is out of this world amazing. The seafood pasta was so delicious. The pasta is homemade and the sauce was so good we were licking our plates. The squid secondi meal was also delicious as was the risotto. For dessert we couldn’t decide between the tiramisu and the raspberry cake. So they threw the tiramisu in on the house! Both were superb! This was our final meal in Venice and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Bar Maleti is a charming café bar located on the Granviale in Lido Venice, making it an ideal stop for both locals and travelers. Known for its exceptional coffee and fresh pastries, it's a delightful spot to enjoy breakfast or a mid-morning snack while soaking up the Venetian atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of options throughout the day, including scrumptious club sandwiches, vibrant salads, and hearty tavola calda selections featuring vegetables and pasta.
Lovely location with variety of options to eat or take a bite with a drink. Kids friendly and they also have Gelato 🍨 we tried the Aperol and it was really good.

Stopped here after noticing it was busy on the way to the beach, seated quickly and orders taken. Spritz on point, food arrived swift. Never caught the waiters name but very hard working chap. Would return anytime.

Bar Maleti is a lovely cafe bar in Lido Venice that excels in its coffee and pastry offerings. The coffee is top-notch, exactly what you'd hope for in Italy, and their pastries are fresh and incredibly tasty, making it a perfect spot for a delightful breakfast or mid-morning treat. The atmosphere is also quite charming, providing a nice place to soak in the Venetian vibe. However, during my visit, the service was noticeably lacking. While not unfriendly, the staff seemed somewhat disengaged and slow to respond. Getting their attention for orders or assistance wasn't always easy, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. Overall, Bar Maleti is a solid choice for those prioritizing excellent coffee and delicious pastries in a nice ambiance.
Shah K — Google review
A one stop shop for any food or drink needs. In the morning you have wonderful croissants and at noon delicious salads and sides. Can get crowded but this is mostly due to its excellent location between the beach and the boat docks, surrounded by hotels. Staff was helpful on more than one occasion and food never disappointed.

Pizzeria Caribe Sorriso is a delightful spot located just steps from the beach, offering a vibrant atmosphere that invites you to unwind and savor delicious meals. With its inviting decor and stunning views of the shoreline, it’s an ideal place to escape the mundane routines of daily life. The menu features a variety of seafood dishes alongside tasty pizzas, making it perfect for both casual lunches and special dinners.
Great place with a gluten-free menu and chefs who actually do understand how to avoid cross contamination. Pizza was made on Schar dough. Nice prices, delicious wine, insane interiors with an incredible sight at the beach and the sea. Service was wonderful, the server was super friendly and knew all about the menu. A true pearl, that we found by chance just walking on the beach.

The place get 3 stars solely from the view of this place which is really nice. The food are not as good as i thought. The Caribe pizza (seafood) came quite wet so i didnt enjoy it that much. Seems like they put frozen seafood on the pizza and bake it thats why its wet. The grill sea bass is good nothing to mention. The worst part is the aperol spritz they dont use aperol brand but some cheap know off brand which doesnt taste good at all. I went there before 19:00 pm so the restaurant dont open yet. When i order the aperol the bartender say it 3.5€ and i say i‘ll stay until dinner so he say to pay later. When the bill comes the aperol cost me 4.5€ which is a bit odd that they change price like that. If anyone wants the nice view then its ok but be careful with the food and drinks. Lastly the cover charge bread are hard as a rock (probably 1-2 days old bread) not nice at all. Overall 3 stars from me.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat. We ordered 2 pizzas which were good but not outstanding. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was a nice pleasant place to eat. The only downside was the service. The waiting staff had no enthusiasm whatsoever and dressed in scruffy clothing, I think I caught one of them roll their eyes when we asked for water to go alongside the drinks we ordered. We didn't actually get any water, so don't bother asking. There is also a 2.50 euro table charge per person. Love Karen 🤣
Susanna P — Google review
We were in this establishment in the evening, there were not many people, but the service was very slow. It felt that we were specifically ignored. Seafood dishes are not tasty, there is not enough salt or spices. The guacamole was not prepared according to the recipe, the shrimp smelled bad, the dessert was very old (the preparation was in a glass jar). The location is good, but it is more of a norm than a privilege. Do not go here, in general I do not recommend Italian seafood, take the classic pizza with meat and steaks. All other food on this island is terrible, many restaurants...

We arrived here late one night as the chef had his coat on and the ovens were off. However they very kindly offered to make us pizza to takeaway. It's highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to dine in April, as it was the only establishment open with food after 3 pm.
This was the best food I have eaten in Italy. The Club sandwich, burgers, wraps, etc. were all amazing. You might get better service if you try to speak a little Italian. 5 stars for consistently professional beach staff members who genuinely care about guests. Chairs and umbrellas are fair price. Water and beach are clean. The restaurant and bar experienced subpar service in past years. However, this year 2024, the staff are all sophisticated, diligent, professional, and kind. The improvement in service is remarkable. Food is good to eat but pre cooked pasta should be considered, they are always over cooked.

Soft sand (with tiny shells) as far as the eye can see, and water that's as warm as a bath with gentle waves. Not too crowded, and dog friendly for those with canine companions. I really enjoyed my experience in Paradise Beach. Even though there are a lot of family and children during my visit, the atmosphere was relaxed and pretty quiet. The service was great too. I went after 14:00 and the prices for umbrella and beach bed were reduced to 13€. (Translated by Google) Absurd. Since the beginning of the summer, I've been spending no less than €500 a month in this place, yet I'm treated like a tramp. The guy at the cash register (it didn't even seem normal), because the POS had a problem that I just checked out, but it was their line, looked at me like I didn't want to pay. Not to mention a fried food I asked to remove the prawns from, but they put them on me... I remade it... they also removed the shrimp... and that's not all, I also bought the day pass with an umbrella... well, I asked to be changed... the moral of the story is that they were annoyed and said no. I've been patient for weeks, but now enough is enough. Even the incredibly arrogant girl this morning was imposing on me what time I had lunch. I asked for 15 minutes later, 1:15 instead of 1:00, and she snorted in my face. Okay, dear gentlemen, goodbye, since I brought you so little money, work with your friends who buy a coffee while sitting for three hours, but with whom you are the opposite of me. Learn some manners, and at work you don't behave like this with customers. Never again, and in fact, I'll tell everyone I sent to never come back. (Original) Assurdo. The bruschetta offered at this bar is outstanding and highly enjoyable. With its incredible offerings, this venue must be experienced firsthand.
This restaurant was a nice stop to rest and use the bathroom as we toured the Lido beach area. It was busy with locals and the staff were a bit busy to accommodate out table service but we ordered at the bar and they brought our order to the table. We had beer, americano coffee and a bruschetta. All was good and refreshing.

Splendid - lovely cocktails with fresh fruit (Try strawberry caipiroshka!) + amazing view onto the sea. Cool background music. Potential to become my favourite place! 🤩

My fiance and I reserved a Gazebo for the day, we showed up around 11a and stayed until just before 7p. We ate and drank and swam all day long and at the end our bill was only €79!?!?!?! I couldn't believe it! Truly one of the best experiences we had on our trip!

Super nice service. Food was okey simple and nice and wine was good. But view and sit in swimsuit and enjoy the food and kids enjoyed it. Love it and have been here everyday since I came to Lido.

If the beach is already fully booked but you’d like a place to have a cold drink in the shadow, go to Aurora Beach. Very friendly staff, plenty of choices of setup ( some confy long chairs too£ and some more) and nice music. Delicious beer, European standards.

Island
Murano is a renowned island known for its exquisite glass art. Visitors can explore various studios, witness demonstrations, and purchase unique souvenirs. The island also features the Museo Glass Museum and other attractions such as Murano lighthouse and Navagero. While some may feel hesitant due to aggressive sales tactics in San Marco, it's possible to enjoy a perfect day in Murano without feeling pressured to make expensive purchases.
This was the first stop of our boat tour, it was such a lovely island. The glass demonstration was amazing, the craftsmanship of all the individual glass pieces, just wow! The shop inside has so many beautiful pieces. We didn't see much of the place as we had to get back onboard for the next part of the tour but what we saw was great.
Rachel S — Google review
I want to see the glass fabric but I didn't know that they were closing early around 17:30! Which was my fault, however I think it's not worth it. It's an overrated tourist attraction. Lido is much better by 10x in comparison. Don't Recommend it if you don't have so much time!!
VolcanoAB — Google review
Overall pleasant experience when visiting this island. You can either take a taxi bus or private one to the island. Here they have glass shops/ showrooms, and factories. Products are various. The original factory also offers a walking tour for €5/person.
Thu H — Google review
Together with Burano - a must-visit if you’re spending a day in Venice. No need to book much time for it, but couple of hours should be more than enough. There are plenty of nice small cafes and stores, make sure to check them out!
Olha K — Google review
An island close to City centre of Venice where you can spend some time to see the glass making process, etc. Also getting there will feel like an old city, less modern, etc so it has it’s own charm.
Umang J — Google review
Excellent tour boat taken to Murano. We only had 45 minutes but it enough. The nearest bar we visited we ordered a Hugo spritz. It had too much syrup and didn't taste like it had an alcohol in. I don't think the server liked visitors as I didn't get a smile or greeting. Ah well... we didn't stay long. The view was amazing. We soon forgot the poor service Then off to the next island tour. Very pretty views. Definitely worth a visit
Julie — Google review
Overrated island to visit! It took me 1h53 minutes in the line to get into the boat that was going back to Venice! If you are there to buy something, you can find the same glassworks and craftsmanship in Venice! If you are there to get to know the glass craftsmanship better, the workshops with high-end designs don’t offer many visiting options, and the ones that do offer don’t show their high-end production process. Due to mass tourism, the island’s residents have difficulty getting on public transport boats to Venice. However, their livelihood is also dependent on tourism.
Maryam T — Google review
Great glass works. The eateries are a little over priced on my taste. Great pictures on the way to and from Burano with a glimpse of Marco Polo Airport.

Self-storage facility
If you're planning a visit to Venice and want to explore without the hassle of lugging around your bags, look no further than Nannybag luggage storage at Santa Lucia Station. This convenient service allows you to drop off your belongings just a short stroll from the train station, making it easy for you to enjoy the sights without any encumbrance.
Perfect experience ( first time for me ). The location of the locker was fairly far from Venice Saint Lucia train station. But no canals passed. The process of the drop off was so easy and smooth. You can feel safety from the cameras and the fact that it’s linked with your personal account. Was a relief to us because we had 2 heavy bags and a carry on. Actually we needed 2 Max lockers because one Max locker didn’t fit all of them. Used the discount code and I saved some money.
A. B — Google review
Really grateful for this place, we rented 2 maxi lockers. This location is close to train station in Venice. We had 5 carryons and 4 very full back packs and were able to squeeze them in these lockers. Worked perfect for having a place to put your luggage after checking out from our air bnb before our train left. Super convenient that it can connect to your phone for locking and unlocking.
Tasia H — Google review
The location was good. Close to the train station, though it’s a short walk over cobblestones with bags. We put our bags in to spend the day at Murano and found it convenient. The lockers are fairly small though. Even the maxi lockers only fit one suitcase and a backpack.
Tami — Google review
Easy to book and easy to use. This storage was cheaper than the one right at the station. You have to walk a bit, about 3 minutes from the station but it was easy to find. It's probably best to book once you're there as you can measure the size of the storage you need, they have sample ones. I would use again.
Doroty H — Google review
Used the facility in Venice, near St Lucia railway station. Very easy to find and use, in a good location also. Very simple to book. Good price. Ample storage for my two carry ons and laptop bag in the smaller compartment. Allowed my wife and I to explore the city for the rest of the day without worrying about luggage!! Definitely use them again.
Ryan H — Google review
It was the first time we used a luggage storage service. I was a little apprehensive but it was great. Very easy to use. You can pick the amount of time you want to store and pay per hour. The lockers secure, opened and closed digitally with a code sent to you. I would use them again when needed.
Nancy S — Google review
Going ahead to give 5-atar on the Stow Your Bags service since all worked as expected. Also, they had helpful "trial" bins to check if you could fit your bags before choosing standard vs. large size, and secondly, the instructions were available to decide if needed to extend for extra hour(s) of time. So, pretty good experience. Give it a try!

Bluemoon Spiaggia Lido di Venezia is a charming beach club with cabanas, striped umbrellas, and chaise longues available for nonguests for a fee. The public beaches on the barrier island offer a more rustic setting with amenities such as food and drink, lifeguards, showers, and toilets. Visitors can reserve lounge chairs and umbrellas at Bluemoon Spiaggia Lido di Venezia to enjoy the exquisite private beach.
It was fun to experience a beach in Venice. The vibes of this place are very cool. We got the two lounge chairs with an umbrella and it was worth the cost. We also ate at the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality. Very good food and fun seating areas. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and the attendant was very helpful.
Shannon R — Google review
Fantastic beach — well organized and truly enjoyable This is a great spot! One of the best things about it is the flexibility — there’s a free area, several category-based zones, and a quiet, more comfortable section where you can rent sunbeds. The prices are reasonable, and everything can easily be booked online. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite. They always guide you to your spot, explain everything clearly, and make sure you feel welcome. If someone nearby is being too loud — even in the calm zone — the staff is responsive and will step in to handle it professionally. That level of service really makes a difference. There are also great little cafés on-site with very fair prices, which is always a pleasant surprise at a beach location. Overall, it’s a top-tier beach experience — well managed, relaxing, and totally worth visiting.
Tatjana K — Google review
Great experience.Rent a reserved space on the beach with an umbrella and two chairs for 35-50 Euro per day, plus access to changing rooms with showers and toilets - which were very well maintained + constantly cleaned by an attendant. The water was warm + clean and shallow. Even after 75 meters out, it was only about 1 meter deep. The beach is only a 10 minute walk from the vaporetto stop - along a touristy yet somewhat upscale avenue with food, gelato, drinks available every block. Rent a bicycle for at a shop near the beach and explore this lovely island away from the main crowds of Venice.

Blue Moon Beach is amazing! 🏖️✨ Just a short trip from Venice, it’s the perfect place to relax, swim, and enjoy the sun. ☀️🌊 The beach is clean, well-organized, and has plenty of cafés and bars nearby. A wonderful spot to take a break from the city and enjoy the Adriatic! 🌴🍹

Katarzyna Z — Google review
Great food and location. Lido is a quiet area so therefore generally no wait for restaurants.
Sam I — Google review
Easy to get to beach that has everything you need for a relaxing day. It’s a short walk from the vaperetto stop and easy to make reservations the day before. A few suggestions would be to make the showers a bit easier to use - they didn’t seem to work properly and went on and off randomly. Perhaps you could give everyone a wristband instead of just one per umbrella - this made it awkward when both people in your party need to use the restroom. Otherwise it was a great place to spend the day and would recommend to anyone who is staying in Venice for a few days!
Rich P — Google review
Paid €55 for the so-called Comfort Zone (front row sunbeds). The loungers were fine, but the overall setup was a joke. No separation between beach sections, no staff presence, no access control. Several people without wristbands, clearly not entitled to be there, were walking back and forth directly in front of my sunbed, in the area that should be reserved for paying guests. No one intervened, and the staff was completely absent. On top of that, we received only one access wristband for a couple, even though the showers and hairdryers require activation via wristband. Because of this, we had to take turns and waste around 20 minutes just waiting for each other. If you’re going as a family, keep in mind you still get only one band. Completely absurd. This is not about who those people were. The real issue is poor management, lack of basic organization, and zero respect for paying customers. For the price charged, this was a complete rip-off. Avoid this beach and its so-called Comfort Zone. It’s just not worth the hassle.

Laid back beach, far from the posh areas on Lido. The only place on Lido where you can indulge in some naked sunbathing and even naked swimming, especially during the weekdays when it's not that crowded with families and kids. The beach is wild, but pretty clean, the sea is clear and deliciously salty and silky, even though not very deep. And you can always find refuge in the sand dunes and the bushes, if the beach is too busy.

Boat rental service
Consorzio Motoscafi Venezia is a reliable and cost-effective water taxi service in Venice. Customers have praised the company for its responsiveness, 24/7 availability, and flexibility with pick-up times. The staff are described as lovely and helpful with luggage, ensuring efficient transportation to the destination. Booking through their website is simple, and they offer discounts for round trip bookings.
This was one of the private water taxi companies recommended by the landlord of the apartment where our family of 5 were staying. I was wary of the negative reviews but decided to go with this company due to the reasonable price and other positive reviews. I booked an early morning transfer to the airport at 7.30am to pick us up at the nearest vaporetto stop from the apartment. Booking online was easy and I got a confirmation email right after the payment went through with the voucher attached, which I printed out. We did not get any other email leading up to the date so I was a little nervous whether anyone would show up. But when we got to the vaporetto stop at 7.30am, the driver was already there wiping down the boat while waiting for us. He was friendly and helped us with our luggage and we got a safe and comfortable ride to the airport with no hassle. He also asked for and kept the printed voucher. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
Catherine M — Google review
We pre-booked rides from the Venice train station to our Airbnb and from our Airbnb to the Venice airport - finding the proper pickup area at the train station and reiterating our destination was a bit confusing, but everything was otherwise quite efficient. Communication could certainly be more organized and proactive, but this is overall a solid choice if you're looking for private transport within Venice.
Zach C — Google review
I cannot fault this company as expected wary due to a few bad google reviews. We have just got back from a short stay in Venice. I didn’t think we would clear the airport as quickly as we did but they managed to sort a taxi for us almost instantly and it certainly was an experience my 2 kids loved it and a great way to enter Venice. I originally booked the taxi too early for our departure so emailed to change pickup time which they changed within 24 hours and sent an email confirming and then the driver arrived 10 minutes early which was great. All luggage on and a beautiful sunrise journey back to the airport. High recommend this for transfers great a value for money this one went straight to the veranda of our hotel
Sarah M — Google review
DO NOT RELY ON THIS COMPANY! We booked a hotel to airport transfer weeks in advance. We had no communication about the pickup location so we waited in front of the hotel and near the closest canal. 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup, we got worried. No one answered the phone number on the paperwork. Luckily we checked their website and found a call center number. The person we talked to said "there has been a mistake but a taxi will be there in 3 minutes". 10 minutes later a taxi finally arrived. Thank goodness we built in extra time, and thank goodness we thought to call when we did, otherwise we might have missed our flight!
Chris H — Google review
I recently had a great experience with this company. I booked online Airport to San Vio dock and return. Leaving the airport was easy. My voucher stated going to pier 3/4 and one of the guys took us promptly. The return boat was waiting ON TIME as we rounded the corner 5:40AM. Graztie for doing your part well to get us to the airport on time and home safe.
Mike M — Google review
No idea what some of these low reviews are on about because this is a very efficient and super helpful service!! It’s just like a taxi…. But a boat version. We had quite a few luggages (one super heavy one) and I was dreading having to drag them through the streets or onto packed ferries, so this saved us a lot of trouble when getting to our hotel. After our stay in Venice was over, I booked this taxi service again to take us back to the train station so we could catch our train to our vacation’s next stop. But when I got to the pickup point, I realized I had accidentally booked it for the wrong date… The people working at the dock were extremely helpful with rescheduling my reservation and arranging for a driver to come in minutes. (I didn’t even have to pay extra, and we made it to the train! lol!) 10/10 service! 😊

Very unpleasant experience with boat no. 222. The driver overcharged me, forced me to pay the INFLATED FARE upfront in cash, and then treated me with impatience and rudeness. His behavior made me feel discriminated against as a foreign visitor. Totally unacceptable.

DRIVER HELPED SCAM US! We had booked a taxi to take us to our hotel and some man came to help us put our suitcases on the boat, the driver then insisted that we tip the man, but we only had 20 euros. We asked if he had change and we said sorry but 20 is too much, he then ripped it out of our hand and was extremely rude. Horrible experience, was shaking afterwards. Do not use this company!

While it may not boast the renowned beaches found on other islands, it offers charming spots like San Pietro, an untouched gem, along with San Vio and Litorale do Pellestrina. Bagni Alberoni Srl is a hidden gem located on the southern end of Lido de Venezia. Unlike other beaches in the area, this beach is free to enter and offers a serene and uncluttered environment as it is set in a nature reserve. Visitors can enjoy the clear waters, moored boats, and water sports without the typical rows of deck chairs and umbrellas found at other beaches.
Beautiful beach, not too crowded especially not a little further on the sides. You have the possibility to rent some beach umbrellas and chairs. There is also a little bar, a restaurant that serves some good food and isn't too expensive. And a little shop to buy drinks etc.

Lady at the toilet can't even speak English. She said something about a ticket. I asked if i should pee in the bush, she said ok... the beach is a trash place. They dump the old logs hier you can see nails and old trees that dont belong hier. All that just so you buy the chair! Dont support these scum's

Best kept secret. Not overrun, rent a cabin for the day totally worth it, make sure you pick one on the right side when facing the beach (for the shade), careful restaurant on the beach closed at 3pm and only does 2 sittings 12 and we 14 o'clock

Nice clean sandy beach with all necessary amenities but not crowded with tourists. We spent half a day here, swimming, lounging, sleeping, walking and dining, all within reach and budget.
