I bought some items from SHINE U Carpets and Cocokala-Artifact at Easy Home in Shiwan Town, Foshan. It was a good and comfortable experience overall. The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient throughout the selection and order process — especially Ellen. Both stores offer a great range of quality artifacts, textured pieces, and beautiful carpets. Everything was handled smoothly from order to payment. I’d definitely recommend Cocokala-Artifact and SHINE U Carpets to anyone looking for artistic or decorative pieces in Foshan.

Good if you know what you want but can be pricey and tiresome if you don’t. Targeted towards the middle to top end consumers. If you’re used to shopping in IKEA then this place can raise you’re eyebrows a tad. Examples of prices: Luxury leather bed with side tables ~£5000, cheapest porcelain tile 600x600 was 76¥ per tile, a leather office chair was around £70 which was quite reasonable I thought. Everything is under one roof but is quite tiresome. Just after browsing 4 shops we decided to pack it in for the day. It’s situated about a kilometre walk from the Lanshi station on the Gaunzhou Line. There is a McDonalds outside the store too.

Went on a Wednesday around 1pm. No wait to enter, and was extremely affordable at around CN¥20. I didn't plan my visit at all, I only knew that this zoo had pandas and was hoping to get to see them. Pandas are rather quiet creatures, so don't expect them to be doing a whole lot. They are very cute though, and I was very happy to have seen some in person. Loved the gibbons too.

The zoo was good and quite interesting. We had a nice time walking around and seeing the animals, but it wasn’t particularly special. Some areas could be better maintained, and there wasn’t much interaction or excitement. Still, it was a pleasant outing overall.

This was the first ever zoo i went to in China. It was very exciting to see the pandas but it was very crowded and busy. The zoo has a lot to offer. However, there isn't much guidance when going around. The monkeys were very cute, and it was cool to see the reptiles and fish.

Cheap entry and easy to get to. Upon entering it took us a good 15 minutes before we seen anything of note - with the lay out we didn't see any exotic animals at the start - some goats, and deer's and some enclosures that were completely empty. Did get better after a while - seen some depressing looking tigers and beers. We had to queue for the star attraction - a panda - just the one on display the day we were there but I think they might have two - the queue was about 40 minutes - but was moving all the time. Was it worth it? Not really to be honest. Panda was chilling out as they do - but after such a wait perhaps not worth it. Overall the zoo was a bit run down, the animals looked depressed, a good few of the enclosures looked dirty and very basic for the animals, and on the whole the zoo has seen better days. I went to the safari park the week or so after, which was so much better, but also so much more expensive. I think this zoo is for the general public that cant afford to see the safari and for that I guess its ok. But I wouldn't recommend it for a tourist coming to the city and wanting a day out here.

Visited on May 10. 2025. Tickets for both Zoo and Ocean World can be bought together as a package. Overall the zoo was clean but all the enclosures were much smaller than the requirement for the animals and birds.

Zoo is not well maintained, glass window to see animals are not clean and clear. Quite blurry. Panda queue is very long. Most animals are back in their own cage behind the show area so you might not see them.

We had a great time in this zoo. Great place to take the kids. Not too busy during weekdays. The zoo is quite large and takes a while to walk around the whole park to see the animals. We would recommend at least half a day if kids, or anyone who walks slowly. There is a giraffe feeding experience for ¥20 which we found worthwhile. There is also a small amusement park inside the zoo for kids who want a little bit more. Plenty of shops inside selling souvenirs at tourist prices.

China is a nice place to trade and travel to

The university is what you'd expect of a university. It had various departments and facilities that are of expected in a top class university such as Sun Yat-sen Uni. If you're planning to stay at the university for courses or other purposes, do mind that the food may not cater to some of you guys. My mate had a bad time consuming and chowing down Chinese cuisine (he's from SA). Unable to provide photos because I have to browse and find them first.

Enjoyable to leave the skyscrapers and walk in this large area of grassland for a while. BTW, some buildings are founded at least 60 years ago, nice to see some historical buildings.

I visited ten years ago and was blown away by this fantastic architectural masterpiece. Fast forward to 2025 and it basically looks like it's falling apart. Dirty and awful. An absolute shame and discredit to the memory of Zaha Hadid.
