This is one of the best Indian food option not only in Pyin oo lwin, but in Myanmar. The food is really authentic and not having the Myanmar flavour. The service was fast and location is great with a great view of small lake. I would never miss this place on my next visit.

Really good Indian food. The other reviews complained of service, but that was not our experience. Service was attentive, but not bothersome. Food came quickly, but was fresh and delicious. I don't know a lot about Indian cuisine and server was more than helpful. Great option for dinner or lunch. Beautiful view of lake, sunset was awesome.
This is a very nice and elegant place, and the staff speak great English, Hindi, and Burmese. The ambience is very nice by the lake with a cool breeze and A/C. Prices are typical for an Indian restaurant of this caliber.
The best naan my wife and I have had in a long time. Beautiful venue and great place to watch the sunset. Disappointed with the Avocado milk shake (a bit diluted) but everything else was wonderful.

Delightful Indian food restaurant in Pyin Oo Lwin. We went for a late lunch and found the whole place to ourselves. However, we were informed that between 3 to 4 pm, they cannot make rotis or any form of Indian breads. So we had to wait for about 15 mins for the same. The paneer makhan Wala was well made. The maa ki daal lacked the flavour. Rotis were well done and tasted good. Service was good. View is of the lake which is quite pleasing.
Great Indian food. Really enjoyed the butter chicken and vegetable biryani. Also a very attentive and helpful staff.

Just an eight-minute stroll from the iconic clock tower, it offers visitors a serene atmosphere filled with peace and silence.

An historical Anglican Church building, still in active use and maintained by the congregation. We visited on a Sunday morning and participated a little in their Sunday service, conducted in Burmese. Some of the congregation passed us English language hymns and service booklets. Lovely church building but really showing its age.

Because of its more famous neighbor, I think this place is quite under-rated and neglected. But in many ways, the National Landmarks Gardens is an acquired taste. It's has wonderfully recreated some of Myanmar's most famous landmarks in miniaturized form. Reasonably well maintained, there weren't that many people visiting. That's great for photos but having so few people visiting means nature is taking back some of the gardens (lots of spiders and cobwebs in more remote corners).

Lovely setting in a garden. But the food was not worth the price. 20 000 for a big soup that didn't taste good. The servers did not look happy that customers arrived. Didn't greet us and looked mad. But something must have happened because their very sad attitude is very unusual to be meet here in Myanmar.
Can order local food with reasonable price. Nice vintage decoration and also good for dinner time. You can also try May Myo coffee there.
The old colonial house transformed into a restaurant has its distinct old-world charm. My main concern for the place is the upkeep. Because of the dusty, humid air, everything just seems more run-down than in prior reviews and photos, with the white outdoor umbrellas noticeably graying. Food is excellent and prices are reasonable so overall, it's still a great place for lunch or dinner.
The food is delicious. The price is reasonable. But the big annoying thing is the cat/cats. Cats were around the table and they even tried to jump on us. Nobody paid much attention for that. Moreover, the owner’s young boy was playing around the restaurant and feeding food to the cats.

Yummy. Friendly and attentive staff. And its super high ceilings make it feel cool even during the mid Thingyan heat. Old vintage signs and trishaws hanging from the ceiling add to the vibe.
The iced latte tasted really good. The place was very large and the car parking was also large. The place is also clean and there are a lot of chairs and tables. The tables and chairs were also high and a lot of people can sit there without it being crowded. The service was also good and overall, it is a really nice place to sit and relax.

During my recent travels, I stumbled upon Krishna Indian Restaurant, a hidden gem tucked away on a quaint little street. At first glance, it may not seem like much—almost resembling a cozy family living room—but don’t let appearances fool you! The ambiance is simple and unpretentious, with the charm of home-cooked meals. I indulged in their chicken and mutton curries, both served with an excellent chapati that stole the show.
Incredible food at an impossibly cheap price. We ordered mains and got a bunch of complimentary side dishes, the chapati was especially good. I highly recommend this place for an affordable and delicious meal in a local setting. The place is like a family house where the common room has been adapted to act as a restaurant. Don’t expect any luxury!

Food is good, a bit long to prepare. Reasonable price. You choose the meat or veg and everything else is included. 4000 kyats for meat including 3 kinds of vegetable and rice and two Chapatti. Definitely one not to be judged by the cover and slightly hidden in a tiny street. The atmosphere could be better too (there is a man sitting there watching TV all the time judging by the same coat he was wearing on other's photos.) However, the chapati was excellent. We had chicken curry and mutton curry. Same sauce for both, the mutton was the best. The order came a bit slow (30min) but the food made up for it. The banana lassi was great.
This is basically a living room of an Indian family.

This is the best breakfast in all of Myanmar for me. Not only is the food and coffee great, but the atmosphere is super relaxing with the attached garden. The service is always fast and friendly too.
For food I always go for the Burmese classics, but they have a wide variety of other cuisines too, including Chinese, Japanese, and European. The Nan Gyi Thoke is particularly good (that's why it's the first item on the menu). I like to pair it with the Samosas with bean curry. For drinks they also have a wide variety, including high quality tea and pour over coffees at a really good price.
Amazing place to relax and have a great cup of coffee. We didn't get to try the food though so check for other people's reviews. Owned by the Sithar Coffee group who have a huge plantation in the area, they make nice, fresh brews of local and European variety of coffees. In my opinion, it's the best place to chill-out in Pyin Oo Lwin.
It is a good place to eat. All food are great. If you go there you will see beautiful flowers garden. You can also get presents for your loved one like hand-made jam, biscuit and fresh cake. One of the best coffeeshops in POL and very close to downtown. They make a great hand drip (V60) coffee. I especially like their sundried beans. You can also watch them do the whole brewing process if you want. The vibe is very relaxed, I appreciate that they don't play club music 👌

The pizza was unique and tasted really good. Was not really expecting such pizza from this shop. I also had Puri with vegetables which was good and loved the taste . Mutton soup with nun was ok , I have had much much better mutton soup in Myanmar . I would not recommend the mutton soup. The tea was quite good. Over all the total breakfast was 7800 MMK . Hospitality was really really good .

The staff are polite and sweet. They just started growing new orange plants again, so it wasn't beautiful to take picture with these plants. However, it was such a nice place to chit chat. You need to go further from B.E waterfall. It's a bit far.
One of the latest destination in Pyin Oo Lwin. Admission fee is 2,000 kyats for local and open from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Good place to get orange and avocado. Quiet and calm. So it's also good place to chill. And they provide both wine and coffee. Not bad.
You pay entrance, get a free and fresh orange juice, short ride to the orange trees, no explanation there neither on the different types nor a bit more regarding farming. Sorry to say but for me it was waste of time.

Absolutely perfect food was amazing, recommend the carbonara and the matcha latte, the chicken dumplings are a must try very flavorful and mouth watering.

However, the coffee and cake were quite disappointing. The coffee lacked flavor, and the cake was dry. On the bright side, the fruit tea was decent. If you’re looking for a cozy spot to relax with a nice view, this place has its charms, but don’t expect too much from the menu.

Kan Oo monastery is Buddhist monastery.It is situated at Nyandaw block.5 minutes walk from Shan market or Zay Lay.There are about 12 brick building for monks and a pagoda.Around there,Oo Khan ti payagyi and Nyan Daw paya,Shwe Myin Tin pagoda are situated.Most of the buddhist pay respect there.You can see the pagoda,beautiful sima hall(သိမ်),statue of shin siwali,shin oo pa gotta and sitting buddha statue with king dragon who cover from rain.There are some buildings that the pilgrims often come and stay there.Some places are made to take rest .
