If I could give them 0 stars I would! First let’s start with Sandra. You will know her by her heavily altered plastic surgery face. No hate to her but it’s how you recognize her. I came in looking for a specific foundation. When I first walked in, she had to end a phone call before she could speak with me. Then I explained to her specifically what I was looking for. Eczema friendly, Medium coverage, and budget friendly. She then sat me down and started doing an almost full face of makeup. My intention was to just be led to the correct product. However, I had no issue with her trying a Foundation on me. She started with a primer, then a foundation, blush and a lipgloss. When she had me look in the mirror, I looked like a clown.. The Lipgloss was heavily slathered on my lips. The blush was not even blended. All of this was distracting and made it hard for me to look at the actual Foundation. I then noted that I did like the foundation and asked how much it was(this part is important) She said no more than $30. She tried to convince me to buy all of the products +2 others that were $45 and $42. I told her I have similar things at home. I was not interested Especially since I was only here for one thing. She pushed for me to grab the primer which, after looking at the price I only grabbed a small bottle which that alone was $16. I was going to look at other things, but she grabbed the 2 products that I was buying, Didn’t even ask if I wanted to look at anything else and started ringing me up. At the counter, they had the better than sex mascara, which is my favorite so I also added that onto my purchase. In total, it was $90 which to me was crazy, but I just paid it. She then came around the side of the counter to hand me my bag. I took my bag from her and I went to go take my receipt which she pulled away. She started insisting that I do the survey on the bottom. I explained to her that my husband was waiting for me and promised to do it later. My intention was to do it and write about my bad experience. She then kept insisting that I do it right then and there. It would take less than two minutes, she kept telling me. At this point, I realized she was not going to give me my receipt unless I just did it in front of her. So I pulled out my phone, entered the information and she asked me to give her all 10 which is the highest score. Then, in a section where you can give a brief description of your experience she asked me to write down her name and say something nice about her. Her reasoning was she is part-time and she would like to move to full-time, but they won’t let her. (I hope you fire her). After I completed the survey, she gave me my receipt and I booked it out of there. I literally looked at my receipt and realized that the foundation was $45 instead of less than $30 like she had said. Not only was she pushy and rude and downright uncomfortable. She lied to me about the price. The next day I went to Ulta and I bought five items one including the better than sex mascara and my total was $47. I intend to return all of my purchases that I made here hence why I bought them elsewhere. I would have returned them over the weekend however we were leaving for our anniversary weekend away. I called this Monday to ask for a manager and spoke with Mia. Mia told me the beauty manager was not in today. I told her that I would like to speak with them and asked when they would be in. She refused to give me that information and said I would have to keep calling every day to try and speak with the manager. So I turned to Google in hopes that someone would reach out to me. I then found another review complaining about the same woman, Sandra, and her behavior to them was similar to her behavior with me. I hope that you look at this review and make the decision to finally terminate her. Because of her, I will never step foot back into the JCPenney beauty department to make a purchase ever again.
