Amici Restaurant & Pizzeria is a charming Italian eatery with a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant features sliding glass doors that connect the main dining area to a breezy terrace, offering a delightful dining experience. Located in Caloundra, it has earned its place among the top ten restaurants on the Sunshine Coast. The menu boasts authentic Italian cuisine, including delectable pizzas and gourmet dishes like risotto and chicken schnitzel.
Celebrated my 55th birthday here last night with a group of friends and had the best meal and time! The food was impeccable (hot, fresh and delicious), the service was 5 stars and the venue, beautiful! We are just sorry to other patrons for being such a loud group…. Would definitely recommend this awesome authentic restaurant!

Cosy and beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere. The food was amazing and so delicious. The service was outstanding - the best I have ever experienced. It was very busy when we visited and we didn't have a reservation but we were given a very comfortable booth to sit and wait, the opportunity to order drinks and entree and the staff made sure we were well looked after. It didn't take long to get a table either. Highly recommend We will definitely visit again!

Thankyou to the lovely staff member who fixed a custom drink and made it perfect 👌 the sauce with the steak is perfection theres nothing like it anywhere else and I'd encourage others to give it a try you won't be disappointed. The Italian in me for whatever reason didn't feel not like steak for the choice when going to such a lovely Italian restaurant so while away, I got a taste of it though and had to come back a few night later and my friend and I both ordered it it was that good. They got their perfect cocktail again, and I had the most delicious house cocktail. Thankyou it's was all delicious and perfect. All of the food was amazing, but that steak and sauce 🤌 All of the staff were perfect level of kind and courteous with attention to detail and making sure everything ok while being helpful. As an ambulatory wheelchair user who uses a powerchair, it is often a nightmare going one for meals. I never know how staff will react to needing to make room for a large power chair and it "being in the way" for the first time in a long time I felt normal again despite being in my chair they just made adjustments and didn't change tone of voice, show it on their faces or any other way no annoyance at having to move things. Thankyou! Being able to just have dinner and enjoys it and not worry made it all the more perfect it should be standard but it isn't hence my writing all this, all the staff did all the right things please keep it up. Please keep being a safe and welcoming place for wheelchair/powerchair users there arent alot of safe places. I'm also having to eat gluten loved how gluten free friendly the menu was! I ordered their gluten free carbonara takeaway the first night then when going back a few nights later got it again because it was absolute divine creamy heaven 🤤 (I can not comment on the bathroom and if it is WC friendly as I never used the facilities)

Magnificent! Walked in at 601pm Friday night and managed to snag a last minute table for 2. They asked us politely if we could be finished by 730. We were. The drinks menu is fine and our non cocktail ( watermelon and lychee) was terrific. I had the smaller size Vegetable Risotto and was pleased with both the quality and the quantity. My partner happily declared the Penne Marinara as one of the best ever … loaded up with plenty of seafood. The dessert Baileys Crème brûlée was also wonderful. Do yourself a flavour and try Amici soon.

On our mini vay-cay we were lucky enough to stumble across a beautiful Italian restaurant called Amici in gorgeous Caloundra, Queensland. This restaurant was a true pleasure to dine in, every element of our night was catered for professionally. We walked in without a booking, kindly ushered to the most aesthetically pleasing table in the house - under golden lights, right on sunset, beachfront view. We dined on the most spectacular feast and marvelled on every meal & desert that travelled past! Compliments to the chefs - because you can taste the love in everything we ate. We were looked after incredibly well, with staff displaying synchronised serving - very impressive indeed! Bar service was super pretty in all ways perfect for IG - above all every single one of the staff gave off a genuinely kind and caring attitude. Amici offer a high quality standard of food at fair affordable prices We would highly recommend, dress to impress & enjoy an unforgettable experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TRUE AMICI

A Wonderful Experience Every Time at Amici, Caloundra We’ve been to Amici in Caloundra several times now, and each visit has been an absolute pleasure. The service is consistently impeccable—friendly, professional, and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. What really stands out is how well they accommodate families. We often dine with our little four-year-old, and the staff are always thoughtful and kind, making the experience enjoyable for all of us. The gluten-free menu is fantastic, with plenty of delicious options that never feel like an afterthought. The drinks are excellent, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the venue itself is simply beautiful—the perfect setting for anything from a relaxed dinner to a special night out. We’ve always had a wonderful experience here and can’t recommend Amici highly enough. It’s a true gem in Caloundra!

Our table of 4 enjoyed our dining experience. Arancini balls for entree- beautiful. We all enjoyed our mains. And the chocolate brownie for dessert was the best brownie I’ve ever eaten. Waitress was attentive and lovely. We’ll certainly visit again on our next trip to Caloundra.
Melinda G — Google review
We have been going to Amici's since they opened. The food, the atmosphere the professionalism of the staff, has always been to an amazing standard. The staff are obviously well trained and it's always a pleasure to dine there. My wife has food sensitivities and as everything is made fresh, they have no problem accommodating her requirements. Of course the food is always amazing! I love the Spanish Prawn Pizza and I add fresh Chili's. Our favorite Italian restaurant by far!

Known for its flavorsome specialty coffee and creative breakfast menu, it's a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. The cafe's Quinoa Nasi Goreng and Shakshuka are among the top picks on their menu. With its spectacular location right by the beach, Coffee Cat on Kings Beach is a must-visit for those looking to enjoy great food with an amazing view.
Situated right on the beach with an incredible view, the vibe is just right for a nice breakfast early in the morning. Open early in the morning, a reasonably priced cafe that has a wide selection of options and a generous portioned meal.

Coffee Cat absolutely lives up to the hype. The açai bowl was fresh, tasty, and great value for money — generous portions, vibrant ingredients, and all the good stuff you’d hope for. The location couldn’t be better, sitting right on the beach in the gorgeous hustle and bustle of Kings Beach. Perfect for a relaxed breakfast or a post-swim bite. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Great location right on Kings Beach. Carpark is next to it but gets packed out quickly. Food is decent. Super busy weekends. If your staying at the resort just next door this is the place to go lots of options.

Lovely brunch at this beach-front venue. Everything was so nice, from the location, food, people and service. Check out my picture to see how good they delivered for our brunch.

In 2024 this cosy little Cafe use to have the best Sunday Roast Pork that was melt in your mouth and so meaty. Crackling, roast veges & a Yorkshire pudding.Sadly this year 2025 they havnt kept the consistency. Worst roast ever, different cut of meat, the round loaf. Recieved 1 kind of thick slice of pork which was 90% globby fat. No crackling and rest of the plate was full of veges. The pudding thing had a syrup in it that I'd never seen before, it was horrible and tasted like sugarsyrup was so sweet..I ate some of the pork fat thinking it was meat then left the rest of fat and ate the little bit of fatty meat that is shown inside the black circle I drew. I emailed the boss with pics who hadnt replied until I contacted Coffee cat on FB. She was not happy with me asking a reviewer what happebed to them at this Cafe when they said rhey had been discriminated against. I'll post her replies. I raved about this roast to everyone and gave it a great review. Waited with eagerness for a whole year to taste it again only to return to the holiday unit and spew what I ate down the toilet as I felt so sick from the gluggy fat.

Coffee is very sour - undrinkable. I wouldn't have a coffee there again. However, their chai latte is very good - creamy. Staff nice, atmosphere location good but loud music made us feel like sitting somewhere else.

Great atmosphere, excellent food, tasty cocktails, Staff were lovely and polite.

I’ve just had a bad run here the last few days. I really wanted to email them directly but they don’t give contact details so sadly I have to complain publicly. The staff don’t seem to pay much attention to customers and are happy to make you wait to order for takeaway coffee. Then I decided to dine in and I ordered an almond croissant. It was really stale. Obviously not delivered that day. If they had at least warmed it up it may have been nicer. Then, an ibis jumped on my table and tried to steal it!! That of course is not the fault of the staff but they didn’t even notice or seem to care. It was another customer who helped me. It seems like there is no one in charge there, keeping an eye on things and making sure the staff are focused on customers and not just chatting and laughing with each other. The setting is great though and I may just be unlucky but I’ve visited there for 4 days and yet to get the sense that customers are anything other than an inconvenience. Happy to review/ remove this if someone can tell me who to actually send it to.

We arrived without a reservation but we were seated immediately. Tonight we ordered the mixed grill share platter. Everything was prepared exactly to our request and for what we received we thought it was great value for money. Our server tonight was a young guy, Alfie, I think he said was his name, who did a wonderful job not only for us but we noticed for other guests as well. Our private little celebration went perfectly. Thank you!

I had the Eye Fillet, cooked perfectly (Med) and it melted in my mouth. My husband had the Rump Steak (Medium/Rare) which was also perfect. The sides were very generously portioned and the sauces, pepper for me and mushroom for him, were very tasty. We shared the Chocolate Bomb for dessert. OMG it was DELICIOUS. We thought it was all reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive. Our only negative comment is: the space looked a bit plain. Maybe some artworks on the walls would be good. We will definitely be back. Oh and bookings are recommended.
Melanie H — Google review
Amazing food at Three restaurant for such a great price! We expected to pay at least $300 for our bottle of wine, two mains, an entree and dessert and the total was under $200 for fantastic quality food. The service was fantastic and it was lovely and quiet even though the restaurant was full and everyone was chatting. We will definitely be back

Wow! One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The menu is so good, there is so much choice, and everything is seriously so well prepared with love. They must have a good team because it reflects in everything that came to my table. Thank you! I started with Oysters done 2 ways and the Lime Chilli was the standout. I chose the lunch special steak with red wine jus and handcut chips (they were so good). Deconstructed lemon meringue cheesecake for desert was amazing!! The in house meringue had that lovely chewy bite in the middle of the wafer. Hats off to you guys as the day was exceptionally busy and staff were run off their feet but so lovely. Make sure you book so as not to be disappointed.

Always good food at the Three Restaurant. Favourite meal 300 gram blackened poterhouse steak with sides chips, coleslaw and red wine jus. Also great value $25 to $32 lunch specials which include drink, selected mains and deserts. Best to book in as busy restaurant.

Service was fantastic and food came out really quick which is handy with a toddler. Both our steaks were cooked perfectly, nice but wouldn't say best I've had. Shared a dessert which was tasty but hard to eat in the jar it came in. Would come back again.

We went to Three Restaurant for a 30th birthday celebration lunch and had such a wonderful experience! The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Situated across the road from Bulcock Beach and Pumicestone Passage, it provides an ideal spot for affordable family-friendly dining with picturesque views.
Fantastic fish and chips from Sandbar today on what was a very busy day in Caloundra with the Beachfest weekend! Service was fast, friendly and very efficient! The quality of the fish and chips was the best we have had in a long time! (We had a double pack cod and chips for $24..very well priced we thought) The cod had a beautiful crispy batter, was very fresh and very tasty…it reminded me of the fish we used to get in England! Highly recommend! See you soon Sandbar..keep up the good work! 😊 (photo attached with mushy peas…please note as Sandbar do not sell mushy peas we take our own…very English we know! 😃)

Very friendly service and nice place. Tried fish chips and calamari. Chips were great! As was the calamari, though seasoning was a bit much for my taste. However the fish, in this instance whilst ok, was not the best, dry is my best description.
Andrew H — Google review
Four young staff obviously nearing the end of their shift and not putting any emphasis on customer service or speed of service. Waited at the counter for 2-3 mins before someone finally came to serve me. No salads on offer and not alternative offered by the staff. Shop wasn't busy at all. 1 piece of grilled cod and a medium chips took 25 minutes to make and then buzzer didn’t even work. Chips were very greasy. Clearly oil needs changing. Won’t be returning.

Okay picture this, it is new year's eve, everyone is out to spend money and have a good time. We are sitting and waiting for our delicious fish and chips to celebrate our last night of 2022. Unfortunately as time ticks away on the year our friends at sand bar decide to over promise and under deliver. It will be an hour wait, two underpaid staff tell prospective customers, oh too long, no worries mate, see you next year. Bye bye dollars out the door. Our hour wait turned into an hour 25, oops sorry. Fish was good. chips, not bad. But an hour wait. Dear owner, if you would like to improve your retirement plans, dig deep, add some staff and get people to wait 30min instead of 90 and you would have made at least 10 more sales in the 20min we waited. Look you may have pooped the bed this time, but I believe in you. See you next year.

We did order basket food for family with fish, calamari and wait for 1h to get it but they sent wrong order and food over cook. Very disappointed We called to ask them and noone pick up the phone. The cost not cheap

Always good food. The vegetarian burger is particularly good. I love to pick up some take away and eat it at the tables across the road. From there, it is relaxing to watch the sun set over Caloundra, with the Glass House mountains in the background. Across the water is Bribie Island. Just a great place to relax at the end of a busy week.

We dined on a Thursday morning for breakfast. We were seated immediately and the restaurant was clean and well decorated. I had the big breakfast and my beautiful wife something equally as cool. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The price was more than fair and the staff were wonderfully polite and helpful. The coffee was fantastic. We will be back.

Fast, friendly service. A nifty take on service, very relaxed with professional table waitress. We got Lunch for three. Sandbar fish and chips (without the chips and add salad) Crispy chicken wings and pork steam buns(forgot photo of buns) Absolutely delicious. Chicken wings were a tad salty; but the sauce counteracted that. Good prices for delicious food, a nice veiw and relaxing atmosphere. Will be back.

Seafood Market Caloundra is a must-visit for seafood lovers on the Sunshine Coast. Located in the heart of Caloundra, this market offers a wide range of fresh and cooked seafood, as well as salads and accompaniments. Whether you want to dine in or cook at home, you can find an extensive selection of grilled fish, oysters, kingfish, and more. While some visitors found the seafood to be just okay, others highly recommend it for its freshness and variety.
We have been in search of good fish and chip shop closer to home since moving to The Sunshine Coast. This place was referred to us by the shop assistant over at the shopping centre. The choice was huge with all the seafood and salads, and even alcoholic beverages, which we have never seen anywhere in Victoria, which was surprising to encounter. Will definitely be making this place a regular.

We got the family pack for $60 and extra seafood sticks and potato scallops for $25. Definitely heaps to feed 4 people with leftovers. Chips were fresh and hot, fish was delicious. Calamari was okay, just a bit tasteless. The food is pretty decent heated up the next day. Went at about 7:30pm on a Friday night and wait time was only 10 minutes. Service could have been better, no eye contact was made at all during ordering.
Zoe H — Google review
Perhaps we should not have arrived a half an hour before closing time. However. The chips were revolting and cold, the scallops burnt and the fish undercooked. $60 dollars poorly spent. The delightful web page expressed a seafood symphony of various awesome meals. You could smell the grilled prawns and imagine crunching some beautifully cooked hot chips. Nope. In reality you have a group of teenagers running a store the only way they know how. Furthermore they owe me a tartare sauce as I did not receive it in my order but they can keep it. Just chunderous.

That is a lobster mornay pie, dry, small piece of lobster if u could call it that, took them out of freezer for dinner as they come frozen cooked them then no 1 would eat it… took in to show manager this morning hewas not concerned at all said he sell a lot of them but I doubt anyone has gone back for seconds, happy to give me credit I didn’t take him up on it as well as frozen pies we spent $120 on our dinner as well DISGUSTING I will never go back ever thing about it was wrong except the nice under trained staff bring back the old owners…. Don’t get caught on holidays as if u have a budget and u want some nice fish and chips go elsewhere

MONDAY 20/10/2025. Husband suggested lunch here as he was craving oysters & prawns so we dropped in unexpectedly and unplanned at this shop. The prawns were delicious. The 1/2 dozen fresh Pacific Oysters were not acceptable. I ate my three and when asked if I liked them I couldn't reply they were scrumptious - only that they were okay. When my husband ate his remaining three....two were fair but his last oyster smelt funny. He promptly spat it out immediately. Then went back inside to advise the staff member who agreed it didn't smell too good. He offered a refund or full replacement which was great. My husband didn't accept any replacement or refund as this was not his purpose. He just wanted to bring to their attention the importance of FRESH OYSTERS as THE MOST IMPORTANT factor when selling them as this is your reputation at stake. Thank you.

The fish is the best fish I have ever had. Super meaty and fresh. The calamari and the fish was so fresh and just beautifully cooked. The owner is really friendly and his staff are all young and I love that he is giving the kids a job on the weekends. We have been here 3 times during our 2 week holiday and might even make it 4! I would travel back to Caloundra from Brisbane just for the fish! 💕 thankyou!
Kat — Google review
Been coming here for some years. Was usually pretty good but the last few times frozen fish sold as ‘fresh’. Don’t mind paying top dollar for good food but frozen Emperor and also a whole Snapper we bought to bake a few months back also frozen. As if you can’t tell when seafood, especially fish, has been frozen. Not good enough, especially for the premium price tag.
S W — Google review
Went in tonight excited for fish and chips was disappointed with the thinest piece of grilled snapper smaller than my hand and as thin as my iPhone… cooked to all hellll, dry as a bone. $14 for crap snapper that is barely edible, can get cheaper from Cole’s and cook 10 times better, wat a shame. When ordering I asked about prawns never agreeing to ordering them, at the end I did say “but no prawns” to still be charged for them.. on the bright side the chips are pretty good. $70 for 2 people is pretty outrageous.

Nestled in the heart of Caloundra, the Golden Beach Tavern is a delightful family-friendly venue that offers a vibrant atmosphere perfect for all ages. With its spacious modern dining room and inviting outdoor area adorned with swaying palm trees, it creates an idyllic tropical escape. The tavern features a gaming room for some fun entertainment and a sports bar where you can catch your favorite games while enjoying delicious pub grub and pizza.
I don’t normally write reviews, but I really wanted to take a moment to praise the exceptional service I received from Dan at Golden Beach Tavern. Every time I visit Caloundra, I make a point of having lunch or dinner here, and over the past two weeks, Dan has truly stood out. From my first visit, his friendly and attentive service made an impression, and when I returned a week later, he not only remembered me but greeted me with, ‘It’s nice to see you again,’ which made me feel genuinely welcome. He goes above and beyond for customers and is an absolute asset to the team. On top of the outstanding service, the meals here are always delicious and very reasonably priced. Whether you're a local or just visiting, I highly recommend stopping by!

Budget friendly, clean & tidy well appointed rooms! Comfy bed & living area, plenty of benchtop space and luggage space (2 adults), large bathroom. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Loved the personal use table and chairs on adjoining outside patio. Reception, Bar and Wait staff all friendly, helpful and efficient.

I stopped in at Golden Beach Tavern in Caloundra and was really impressed. I ordered the Cob Seafood Chowder and the Lamb Shank, and both dishes were excellent. The chowder came served in a warm cob loaf, rich and creamy with plenty of fresh seafood – it was hearty and full of flavour. The lamb shank was slow-cooked to perfection, falling off the bone and paired beautifully with the mash and vegetables. The portion sizes were generous, the flavours spot on, and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a great spot on the Sunshine Coast for a satisfying meal.

Cannot fault the service here! We are from out of town and stopped in on our way back to hotel for dinner. Place was booked out but they made room for us on an outside table, it was raining but we were covered and had great heating. Service was quick! Food was great and the staff were awesome- nothing was too much effort. We ended up coming back the next night and had exactly the same experience Wish we were local as we would dine here frequently.

Ordered our rib fillet steak medium rare. It was served well-done and dry. Cost $58 down the drain. The salad was bland and drenched in mayo dressing. Chips and pepper gravy were delicious. As were the prawns. Service was a bit slow. Had to ask where to order, at the bar or table service. Atmosphere quiet although it was almost 8pm when we arrived. Don’t think we’ll be back here again.

It took a little while to get a table, but we were placed in the outside area that was screened and heated so it was quite cosy. The noise level was low and we could converse quite easily whilst we waited for our meal. The meal service was a little slow, around 25-30 minutes. Our share plates, that we requested as entrees, arrived about 30 seconds before our mains so we have a table full of food which was predominantly potatoes. The calamari on the menu didn’t say it came with chips but it did. Half of the plate was straight chips and I had ordered a side of wedges as an accompaniment to the calamari. If I had known the calamari came with chips I wouldn’t have ordered wedges, both of our mains had sides of chips as well so we had $99 worth of food and drinks which was 50% potato. Needless to say we probably won’t be back even though we live locally there are plenty of other great places to choose from around the Caloundra area.

Got a burger and instead got 2 dry beef nuggets with no sauce on my stale bread. Ordered a burger cause I thought it would be harder to butcher. Please just go to maccas.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious Seniors Meal deal for lunch. The serving was a good size, fresh salad, crispy chips and delicious seafood. The general atmosphere is very calming. All things considered it was a very pleasant experience.

Hello Harry The Burger Joint in Caloundra is a popular spot known for its quick service, lively atmosphere, and delicious burgers. Located by the beach, it's an ideal place for a casual meal with friends or family. The menu offers a variety of mouthwatering options such as the USA burger and the Texan Beef Brisket Burger. Customers highly recommend the Aussie Battler Combo and Veggie Lover for their fresh flavors.
OMG. We were going to a restaurant next door but the teenage saw Hello Harry and wanted it! Great prices too. We ordered the texan brisket tacos, southern fried chicken tacos, the Louisianna pulled pork tacos, the grilled chicken burger, and the Gluten Free Texan Brisket Burger. It was amazing. The buttermilk chicken breast on that taco was OMG. So good. Just order something from here. We wanted tacos so it was less bread and more filling. So glad we did. Beer in tap too. We were full but had to try the Harry's Famous Dessert Bomb. WTH! I've never heard of Hello Harry. But it will now be my go to when in Caloundra. ASH that served us was awesome as well. Thanks guys.

Kings Beach Bar is a laid-back beachfront spot perfect for kicking off the weekend with cocktails and ocean views. Locals rave about the Tom Collins infused with housemade lemon-scented geranium syrup. The menu features share plates like crispy coconut calamari with kaffir lime aioli. For breakfast, options range from Poached Peaches to The Farmhouse Breakfast, a hearty dish loaded with free-range eggs, bacon, sausage, and more.
If you want great food and a view this is your place, my friend and I had only 3 things on our criteria for our dining experience that day - a really good burger, a view and it had to be well priced. Kings Beach Bar delivered, we went for a classic cheeseburger - it had a brioche bun w a juicy meat patty and the perfect amount of melted cheese, the fries were delicious they tasted like they were hand cut (they are not) however still the perfect companion for the burger. Staff were friendly, ordering is done at the counter and the decor is kind of “modern beach shack” and the location is just metres from Kings Beach. Lovely lunch all round.

We were recommend this spot, and I will recommend it more! I imagine it's very popular being next door to Rolling Surf Resort and right on the beach! We had calamari and the baked brie, so delicious! Great selection of local tap beers. Kai was friendly and chatty! And the other ladies , didn't get their names, but also super lovely. A really cool spot, they do live music apparently, we weren't there for that! Ours was an afternoon sesh. Thanks team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved Kings Beach bar! Staff are warm & friendly! We ordered a Lager, Chai latte, Satay Chicken bowl and the Poke Bowl with Mahi mahi & it was some of the best food we’ve had in a while! We’re from the Gold Coast, but will definitely be back again!

A really chilled and vibing establishment. We went for drinks and a meal in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. It appears to get quite busy, so at peak times, you may struggle to get a table if you had a big group. Live music on certain nights and delicious cocktails.

This is a photo of my plate! The satay chicken, just to show you how good this dish is. 10 out of 10 without a doubt! Flavour, texture, serving. All excellent. Pls don’t come here as I want it all to myself🤣

Sunday night @Kings Beach Bar was a fantastic evening especially with Sam Binnink entertaining us with his singing and solo guitar, playing endless mash-ups, getting the crowd involved and making for an unforgettable experience. 18% surcharge then wait an hour for a burger and teriyaki chicken .Not even close to busy with no apologies, just excuses own your incompetence. The burger was disgustingly greasy & didn’t finish it, what a huge disappointment. UPDATE So just let me start by saying after 30 years in my own business I’m the last person to say the customers always right. Not true. I posted the first ever one star review while sitting at the table after getting our meal. $81 for a burger ,Thai chicken and rice , a coffee and a can of coke. Now one of the waiters must have been paying more attention to the reviews coming in than the customers and thought he should give me a spray after we got up to leave. So here’s the best chance to help sort a very bad experience for a repeat customer ,but instead he decided to have a go at me . I would’ve thought you’d own up to a very very bad day and help sort out a solution but instead your smart arse employee thought that he’d take the low route and give me a spray . Well done 👍 what a true genius. I would’ve happily taken down the review if I’d seen some sort of action from the manager who I spoke to about the meal and the actions of his staff member, but nothing but smart comments from the bar staff. You so deserve this review.

Drift Bar is a trendy spot with a smart space and water views from its breezy terrace. It offers live music, events every week, craft beer, wine, and cocktails. The bar's location near the Pumicestone Passage on the Bulcock Beach Esplanade in Caloundra provides beautiful outdoor dining with large glass panels for enjoying the surroundings in any weather.
Great location, great food, great staff! The big bulcock breakfast was massive, tasted great and I consider the pricing very reasonable considering the location is across the road from the beach. Talked to the staff about the carrot cake and they make it in house - was great with cream.

A stunning establishment with hypnotic twinkle lights that light up the venue and draw you in at night. With prime location, it’s hard to walk past and not be drawn in during the day. Wonderful service, lovely selection of drinks both on tap and via menu. I got to sample a few different cocktails and each were made to perfection. The food was quite nice, we went as a big group so a few different things were tried and there were varied opinions across the group, but I quite liked everything I had. The music was quite loud and could be a little quieter as not everyone was there to party hard, like some other members of the community. But it is a place I would visit again and would recommend trying out.

Great view of the beach. Recommend you try this restaurant for lunch. Good selection of food and lovely view of the beach....get a window table. Food was delicious, good size servings. If you like desserts, they had a great choice, was all made locally and had generous servings for this delicious dessert. Staff were very good.

My search for the best traditional Eggs Benedict continues.. Why anyone would want Kale on Eggs Benedict is totally beyond me but its on the menu here. They are willing to edit and meal came through without the greenery. What has arrived is just lovely. A crisp sourdough slice with good portion of packet smoked salmon and enough hollandaise for every bite. Eggs were a bit small and slightly over cooked but still enough of the gooey gold to make this a worthwhile stop. I would gladly return for the same at $25. Good atmosphere along the waterfront. Dog friendly. Plenty of seating options for the walk in or with a group. Friendly service happy to help. Tables were quickly cleared and cleaned. A good sign. The savoury mince and two poached with toast, served deconstructed. Egg and mince in a bowl. Dry toast to the side. Make your own. A little butter on the toast would go a long way. Mince was tasty but the poached egg just a little over cooked. For $22 this is a decent breakfast. Two flat whites for $11 but a common mistake. Flat white is just milk and coffee. No foam. It originated in Darwin where you couldn't get foamed milk anywhere. Please bring back an Australian tradition, stop the foam.

Pizza delivery
Tredici Wood Fired Pizza Bar in Caloundra offers a wide range of menu options that have been thoroughly explored. The chef and waitress at this establishment are both highly professional, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The pizza toppings are all made using fresh and high-quality ingredients, with no compromises on the quality of meats used. The salads are exceptionally fresh, while the pastas boast an authentic taste.
The quality was excellent. My wife and I had pasta and the flavour was excellent. Good generous portions. They had a good selection of wines and beers including some from Italy. There was an extensive trade in takeaway pizza and they certainly smelt fantastic. Nice soft background music. I would definitely dine in again and recommend it to anyone visiting Caloundra.
Greg J — Google review
Decided to try this venue on Saturday night 31st August ordered before 6pm and was told 25-30min wait for takeaway. After waiting 45mins I enquired about whether our pizzas were ready- they had been sitting there for a while. The girls (3 of them) who were front staff are lazy and never bothered to check anyone waiting outside who had ordered takeaway. There were multiple people who needed to ask whether their food was ready. There were only 4 tables with customers inside, so they weren’t busy, but every time the kitchen staff rang the bell the girls continued to chat amongst themselves. The pizza we got was ordinary to say the least, I think Domino’s pizza has better toppings and the base wasn’t special either for $27 per pizza this place needs to be avoided at all costs.
Paul C — Google review
Very disappointed with the food from here. It was a wasted opportunity to experience local cuisine while on our holiday. While the young lady who greeted us as the door was friendly, the pizza lacked toppings and flavour and left us ultimately feeling as though we were eating little other than pizza base and cheese. It didn't taste like traditional wood fired pizza at all and was comparable to a fast food pizza chain like Dominos or Pizza Hut. Massively overpriced for what you get. Take my advice and try something else, otherwise prepare to be disappointed.
Adrian S — Google review
Friendly staff, clean place. Pizza was a let down, toppings sliding off, bit of extra cheese on the base could help bind it. Base tasty, but a bit too flimsy. Gotta be better if you're asking $27 for a 12" pizza.
Neil B — Google review
We were just visiting Caloundra for the day and dropped in here with a group of 10 with very short notice. The pizzas and pasta were super tasty and all the food came out together which I didn’t expect as the restaurant was busy. Lean front of house staff but friendly and attentive. We would come back on our next trip to Caloundra.

A good spot for dinner. The woodfired pizza was a generous size, decent toppings and can easily be shared with 2 people. A little taste of Italy on the Sunshine Coast.

Their signature beer batter is made fresh, while the frying oils are regularly changed to maintain that perfect taste. The result? Tender, flaky fish cooked to golden perfection alongside crisp and fluffy chips that hit all the right notes.
100% would recommend. The chips are great and fish and calamari tastes super fresh. The burger is just a good simple burger, well priced and very generously sized. My partner and I had almost given up on fish and chip shops until we tried here, so definitely worth the shot.

Yep, great classic fish and chips. We asked for crisp chips and they were crisp outside but still soft in the inside I ate the ones others couldn't. Fish was schnapper and basic cod and it was juicy and not oily Ample lemon wedges and sauces. We ate them in a beach side gazebo at sunset. Perfect

Nestled in the vibrant coastal town of Caloundra, Baskin-Robbins Caloundra is a delightful ice cream parlor that stands out for its extensive array of flavors. This colorful chain invites visitors to indulge in a sweet escape with an impressive selection that caters to every palate. Whether you're craving classic favorites or adventurous new tastes, this charming spot is perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or enjoying a treat with friends and family.
Asked for a waffle cone and was told they didn't have any, yet saw a staff member making them 🤦🏼‍♂️. Also tried to pay in cash and was told they didn't have any change. Was only a $20 note. So had no option except to pay with debit card and was charged around .25c transaction fee. Businesses need to be made to accept cash as it's legal tender. Not my problem if no change in the till, that's the responsibility of the manager / owner. Good ice-cream though and many flavours.
Gary M — Google review
So overpriced and such small serves. I paid $10.66 (although told it was $10.50), I guess they charge a fee for using card, that would have been nice to have been told. I bought 2 scoops in a cup and the scoops were that small that it probably filled 1/2 the cup and the customer service was very underwhelming too, the poor girl looked very sad and definitely didn’t want to be there.
Susie — Google review
The young lady who served us with the most sour look on her face between 2pm and 3pm today needs to work on her customer service skills. Terrible service which ruined the experience. The ice cream was average, my kid threw his on the ground in disgust. Milkshakes and thick shakers also average. If the service was better we may have looked past the average ice cream and not left a bad review. Wish the young boy served us instead, he seemed to be providing better service than the girl.
Jesse T — Google review
You’re better to go buy a 7/11 ice cream or go to Woolworths instead. Customer service or experience was below basic and poor. Servings were sloppy, bearly cold.
Belinda D — Google review
We have never experienced such poor BR service as we did here. Amidst the busy sarurday evening The youngish girl didn't even greet us with a verbal welcome, and just starred (without warm smile) waiting for us to order. The scoops were tiny, and the vertical sundae was barely beyond the half way of the cardboard cup. It was a very disappointing experience. Which is a shame because BR always has amazing flavours, and this Caloundra outlet is so well positioned! (We would like to give the benefit of the doubt and hope this brown-haired fair young lady was just having a bad day and busy weekend, hopefully her customer service is better for others; it genuinely shocked us as BR are usually better than this).
Kelly E — Google review
I was absolutely gob smacked when I went to buy an ice cream the other night. Not only was the person serving me not in uniform, but he (an Indian guy, who could not understand English or speak it either) he went to hand me a tub when I wanted a waffle cone. He had put the smallest scoop in the tub. Then told me it was nearly $10 for a cone with the same scoop. I'd just had a ice cream at Baskin Robbins Kedron day before. The service was better, girl who served us could speak English and was friendly. Caloundra Badkin Robbins can stick their overpriced ice creamsvas far as I'm concerned, I won't go back there!!

The one thing I noticed when I walked in the store is that it does smell old and musty. The store is very small but packed with lots of items. I’m not sure but it’s like everything has been washed. This store has really nice clothing. Only 5 min before walkingI had just purchased a Ruby Rain dress a couple of doors up for $70. To my surprise I saw a dress with the same label for $28 and in my size so I snatched it up when another lady put it back in the rack, a bargain. Not a lot of larger size clothing. Plenty of ladies, mens, child and babies wear. Also household items and decorations. They even had wet suits and for reasons I don’t understand what they sell winter gear in Qld. Nice store.

Food and service was really good. Staff was very accomodating and very professional. Inside of the restaurant was clean and looks pleasant.

Ordered delivery, and the bag was wide open and not sealed which is now against the law. Ceased salad was lettuce with nothing really added and the driver pulled up wiping his hands with a rag. He drove straight passed me at the delivery point and rang me saying he had no success in finding the lobby, and he didn't even look cause as I said I was waiting outside front. Do not order delivery from these people as i felt ill when I saw him and my wide open bag.

We stayed at the resort and stopped in with modest hopes, then left wondering if the kitchen was actively trying to sabotage poultry. The chicken Parmigiana arrived looking promising, but the first bite told a different story—dry, joyless, and begging for a rescue it would never get. The chicken pasta carbonara was even less forgiving: gluggy, cold, and so heavy-handed with garlic you’d swear the chef mixed up the garlic and salt. For $33, the carbonara was a miss, though to the restaurant’s credit, they did refund it without fuss. And yes, the kids ate free—which almost balanced the disappointment, but not quite. In short: over generous with garlic, free kids’ meals, and refunds… less generous with flavour, salt, or temperature control.

Food was amazing, steaks were worth the money in gold and the garlic bread was just what we needed to start with Dessert was a brownie, nice and hot with a side of ice cream

We stayed at the resort and thought we would try the resturant on the first night. My partner and I both got a parma and it was HORRIBLE!! You could taste that the chicken was reheated and not fresh, it was so so dry that it was stringy. We told the waiter and he said oh okay and walked is, never to come back to our table. It turned us off eating there for or trip and has turned us off parmas, absolutely disgusting

Visited this restaurant as a "first table". Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent. Would certainly recommend.

TLDR: cheap buffet that exceeds expectations. We've just checked into the Oaks Resort, we're tired and not keen on travelling too far for dinner or cooking. So the on-site restaurant it is. Buffet? Sure, why not. Keep our expectations low... But wow! The thing about a buffet is that there is usually about a third to half the dishes you try only once and not again. This buffets selection is limited, keeping the price ($28/person) low, but each dish is superb. This evening the selection included slow braised beef ribs, creamy white wine seafood pasta, herb crumed snapper fillets with lime aioli, pork scallops with garlic and white wine sauce... And all of it was great! Well done, we'll be back!

This delightful store offers an impressive selection of high-quality secondhand clothing and household items at incredibly affordable prices. The well-organized layout makes for a pleasant shopping experience, with everything neatly displayed in a bright and inviting space. Shoppers can find hidden gems, including beautiful wedding dresses priced at just $50!
I really enjoyed looking through this store. Well displayed, fairly priced and friendly service. 🙂

The best little op shop in the coast in my opinion, the pricing is very fair and all monies go directly to buy equipment for Caloundra Hospital. The volunteers are wonderful people who make one feel so welcome, going there lifts my spirits due to their friendliness and the great choice of bargains available there also.
Evelyn M — Google review
A most delightful shopping experience, everything is set out easy to see in a well lit space. Very helpful volunteers. Parking can be a bit hit and miss given its location in the grounds of a busy nursing facility. Pricing is reasonable for secondhand household items. I particularly pay tribute to the neat and clean presentation of all the household linens, a lot of effort has been put into ironing everything and marking the sizes where relevant. I wish I had more time on the day of my visit to look through the clothing, I imagine it is similarly well presented.

A good sized store to pick up some bargins. We didn’t pack my husband enough t-shirts for our weekend away so we pipped in to grab a few cheap ones, we managed to get some brand new with tags from a well known men’s clothing store for $10 each, we were pretty happy with that.

If you're in Caloundra, a visit to the Save the Children Op Shop is a must for those who love unique finds and supporting a great cause. This charming little shop offers an eclectic mix of recycled fashion, toys, books, and even some stunning antique and contemporary jewelry pieces. While it may be on the smaller side—making prams a bit tricky—it boasts an inviting atmosphere thanks to its friendly volunteer staff.
First time visiting this op shop in Caloundra. The store is a little small but nonetheless was still a reasonable size. I don’t recommend taking a pram inside but it is doable. The items were a little pricey for what they were but there was some good items for reasonable prices too. The set up and displays were great. No dust on jewellery items which is good to see. More clothes then anything else at $9.00 each. Large variety of Size 8-10 clothes. I loved the amount of jewellery they had here.

Caloundra Street Fair is a lively Sunday market located in the heart of Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. It features over 200 stalls offering handcrafted goods, arts, crafts, clothing, and delicious food. The fair also provides live entertainment and street theatre for the whole family to enjoy. Additionally, during holiday periods, visitors can explore the Caloundra Twilight Markets held on Fridays along Bulcock Beach esplanade.
The Caloundra Street Fair is a vibrant Sunday morning must-visit! Open from 8 AM to 1 PM, this bustling market perfectly blends coastal charm with lively energy. Stroll through tree-lined streets packed with over 120 stalls offering unique handmade goods, fresh produce, gourmet delights, and stunning local art. Live music adds a cheerful rhythm, while the friendly atmosphere makes it a treat for all ages. Whether you're hunting for treasures, savoring delicious eats, or simply soaking in the sunny vibes, the Caloundra Street Fair promises an unforgettable start to your Sunday!
Iam360 — Google review
Been coming to these markets for the last 30 years when visiting on holidays. Not as many stalls these days and the layout is more difficult to negotiate. Even though the quantity and quality has dropped, there's still plenty to see and browse whilst enjoying the market atmosphere. With the amount of dogs being displayed by their owners it can be annoying to move around; but has also added to an increase in dog associated stalls! Plenty of food/drink stalls/vans, you won't go hungry. Still a popular place to be on a Sunday morning, so come and check it out next time you're in Caloundra.

Caloundra Sunday Market is a must-visit! There are so many stalls to explore, offering all sorts of items — from handmade goods to fresh produce and more. Prices are generally reasonable, though some food options can be a bit pricey. The food is great overall, but seating is limited, with not many chairs and tables available. It’s a large, vibrant market with something for everyone!
Augilie S — Google review
Amazing. Very crowded, but food is so delicious and drinks are always nice and the clothing and jewelry are always beautiful. Surcharge is a lot, so I recommend bringing cash instead. Would recommend going there and going for a walk around the markets. 😊

Caloundra Street Fair have really stepped it up lately the quality of the stalls is so much better, way more well-presented than they used to be with lots gorgeous, interesting products I find myself spending so much more time (and money haha) there great spot to go if your looking for a cute gift idea. Love that they also have fresh fruit & veg, flowers and lots of great food stalls. If you haven’t been in a while definitely go and check it out, they also have more shade and seating down there now. It’s very family and dog friendly 💛

Kmart Caloundra is truly a gem for shoppers, offering not just a wide range of products but also exceptional customer service that leaves a lasting impression. Recently, I had an experience where I misplaced some printed photos, only to find them safe and sound thanks to the diligent staff who returned them from lost and found.
⭐ Bad Experience at Kmart I had a really disappointing experience at Kmart yesterday. There was only one counter open, with no one actually behind it — instead, there were about ten self-serve checkouts, which I hate using. I’d rather see actual people employed and working, not everything pushed onto machines while people get paid to sit at home. When I finally got someone’s attention, the young guy looked at me like I had two heads and then proceeded to go behind the counter to the checkout. He didn’t greet me, didn’t ask if I needed a bag or had my own — just silently started putting my items through. The only thing he bothered to ask was if I had Flybuys, so I guess that’s something. Once he finished my payment, he just walked off and left me standing there to pack up my own shopping. No goodbye, no offer of help — nothing. Luckily I did have my own bags. To top it off, I got to the front door and was asked to show my receipt. Normally I don’t mind, but after getting next to no service, it really annoyed me. Overall, I walked away feeling like Kmart has completely given up on decent customer service. Not good enough.
Kerry C — Google review
Today I returned an item with packaging and receipt. The not so nice lady serving was rude and obnoxious towards me. I am always polite to staff working but this lady was trying to fault everything even to point of not letting me simply exchange product with other purchases just saying angrily I need your card with xxx numbers we don’t do that here. She then spoke poorly of the lovely young girl at the front of the store. My parting comment to her if you hate your job so much Retire. Never going back when she is working when other staff are great.
Dianna B — Google review
There seems to be some shady stuff going on in this store with Hot Wheels - there’s a manager there (not sure of name - middle aged male?) who has been spotted keeping the valuable collector models separate from the stock that goes on the sale floor, so they get first access to the valuable models before they’re put on display. What’s going on with that - are they selling them privately to collectors for personal profit? Surely that can’t be happening in a department store like this - I’ve spoken to a few other hot wheel hunters who all seem to be quite aware of this situation - Anybody else experienced this???
Mick M — Google review
So you no longer have a legal obligation to provide trolley wipes? I would have hoped you wanted to keep your customers safe without the Federal Government forcing you to. However, I’m probably looking at it from a moral standpoint. Let’s look at it from a greedy point of view, as that is apparently what drives you. If I wish to shop and stay perfectly safe from the abundant winter viruses, including COVID-19, influenza or RSV, there is an alternative. I can sit in the comfort of my own home and shop at “TEMU”, where I will save up to about 70% on your prices. If I need help there are staff, not just AI there 24/7 to offer assistance. If I need to return it, they will give me an extra month on top of your T&C of 60 days. And as a bonus, I don’t have to tolerate the opinionated rudeness of your younger staff members and it’ll be Friday afternoon, delivered free to my doorstep. Honestly, I don’t know why I was “BOTHERING” you with my business in the first place. Please accept my apologies and my assurances that I won’t do it again.
Cathy W — Google review
I love how k mart say they r committed to customer safety. What a joke the whole store is full of hazards. Large pallets on floors so you can't get down aisles. Very dangerous for the elderly and alike. Considering the money this company makes the safety of the customers is last on their list for sure. Fill products at night and stop being stingy to make your store safer for all.👎👎👎👎👎
Kerrie D — Google review
Really disappointing experience tonight. Have been visiting from out of town staying in accommodation near by and my brother and I decided to have a look in kmart at approximately 7pm. An elderly female kmart employee wearing glasses approached us and said “what are you boys looking for?” We replied “just looking around “ . She then told us “i think its time to leave” and accused us of being up to mischief. Absolutely disgusted that because we’re young boys we have been judged with no reason why. Definitely won’t be back and perhaps staff need some lessons on not judging a book by its cover. My parents are disgusted.
Harrison B — Google review
I've just got out of kmart caloundra and I am not happy with my experience. I bought and went to pay for my items. There were a man and girl behind the cash counter and only 2 or 3 self service in use, as in no people at them. The girl finished serving the gentleman in front of me while I waited. As soon as she finished with him she left the counter and tried to move me to the self service register. Told her I didn't use them, she tried once again and I repeated I don't want to use it. She then pointed to the man on the other cash register and said well then, you have to go there and left, still with no one else to help. Made a complaint with the ladies who checked the dockets and got the distinct feeling they can't or won't further the complaint. She was there to provide a service which she didn't.

Good name for staff in the store! Really rude. We won’t be purchasing anything from here. Poor customer service toys falling off the shelf. Staff had a go at us and essentially kicked us out of the store over picking toys off the ground and looking at them and putting them back on the shelf… We were cleaning the place up but was actually accused of making the mess. Nice way to jump to conclusions lady!

Absolutely disgusted!!!! Visited this place today and asked a female packing shelves if they had some shower cleaner, old lady leaning over boxes at the end of the aisle butts in and she says “nah i’m out of it” I asked her if she knew when it was coming back in and her reply to me was “how longs a piece of string?” I looked at her and walked away appalled at her response. She continued on to yell to me to try Caloundra to save herself from appearing rude. Which I then replied, your too rude. As i made my way to the exit i asked Chloe who was on the registers who the rude lady is and her reply was Fiona she is the manager. This woman does not know a thing about customer service, she needs to find another job away from the public. Will not shop here again! Steer clear of the bogan in charge!

This store offers a huge amount of items at a very reasonable price. The list is extensive and sells mostly small items ranging from all manner of things for your pet, to gardening, household and kitchen goods, toys, food snacks like lollies, chocolates, biscuits and chips, personal and hygiene products, sheets, blankets and cushions, as well as some small furniture items like stools, small step ladders, a large range of automotive, tools and electrical equipment and gifts. Gifts may be items like scented candles, ornaments, vases, incense and holders, statues, perfumes and soaps etc. Some items are not made of the greatest quality, however, for the price, this is a store that is well worth the time to look for a bargain.

Love the inexpensive lollies, cleaning and laundry products. As a matter of fact I like the price of nearly everything. Staff are helpful and friendly. I can't say anything bad about the Caloundra Reject Shop.

Good range, of course great value, and (a bit unexpectedly), excellent customer service. I've been offered assistance with getting larger items to my car numerous times, and if I can't find something I regularly get, staff are always happy to check if they have any other stock out back. Shelves are often a bit untidy, or stacked in ways that items can fall out easily - touch one item and five others are falling out - but I guess it would be a constant problem to keep tidying after we've gone digging through looking for the last one of whatever colour.

I always visit the Reject Shop at Caloundra when I'm there. Has so much to choose from. This time it has heaps of different food to choose from - biscuits, noodles, pasta, lollies and chocolates. Great prices on cleaning products. Too much to list, just need to visit for yourself and allow plenty of time.

So much better than you expect this store! It's spacious and clean and has a lot of pretty cool little items. Not like a lot of other reject shops I've been "straight in and out of" quite an interesting store.
