Phoenix Art Museum is a must-visit destination in the Southwest United States, featuring an extensive collection of international art spanning from ancient times to contemporary pieces. Housed in a remarkable Modernist building, partially designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the museum boasts over 20,000 works of art, including masterpieces by renowned artists such as Diego Rivera, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Frida Kahlo. Visitors can also enjoy traveling exhibits and explore the popular Thorne Miniature Rooms.
We visited on a Wednesday to take advantage of the pay what you want/donation entry cost which is a nice setup from 3 to 8 p.m. We enjoyed our time browsing the varied art works on the second floor, spending a little over an hour to view the majority of the pieces up there. Will have to make another trip to view the other areas within the museum though. A very interesting trip, even for someone who’s not a big museum fan.

Extraordinary museum. Their collections are excellent! There's something for everyone here. We spent a long time chatting with docent Alice in the Baroque exhibit. I learned so much. It was a fascinating conversation. All the employees and volunteers here are friendly. The gift shop is fun, too. The girl at the ticketing desk was informative about the museum's layout and contents. She was so smiley and happy. I had a great time. Free lockers available to store your personal items, such as water bottles.

So many interesting exhibits! Anna Sui is featured now and it was so impressive to see her unique, artistic style in the many examples of her clothing designs! Worthy of a visit just for this. After this fun and entertaining showing, we made our way to a serious, thought provoking exhibit on immigration. Don't miss the sheer panels imprinted with the names of the people who did not make it across the desert from Mexico to the US! Helps to make you realize every name listed was a real living, breathing, person just trying to get somewhere better to live and prosper... Add in all of the other halls with more art representing all different media and you have a great place to spend a few hours on a hot summer day in Phoenix!
Donald M — Google review
The building itself is an architectural treat to enjoy. The collection is varied with some interesting items, but it also seems small compared to other art museums its size. We also did not find what was offered to be as compelling as other exhibitions. Overall, still glad we came and enjoyed what was there.
The T — Google review
Wow. The Anna Sui exhibit was absolutely fascinating. If you’re into fashion, I highly recommend visiting this exhibit in the Phoenix Art Museum before it is done in September. The wings of this museum are gorgeous. I really enjoyed the photo gallery on the top floor and the Anna Sui fashion exhibit. The presence of these exhibits really set the phoenix art museum apart from other art museums I’ve visited. Great place for an afternoon with family or friends; also ideal to escape the sun and enjoy art from various eras ✨
Sara R — Google review
Have been here several times over the years and I really appreciate the main collection. The collection of American art, specifically the art of the southwest, is inspiring. The special exhibitions are usually always good too. I have wanted to see Avedon's work in person for years and was thrilled when they recently brought some of his images to the museum. I loved the Anna Sui exhibition and their focus on fashion has been evident over the years... it's a fun time. Worth the drive from east mesa.
Jazmine J — Google review
I had a great time here. The exhibits were beautiful and I enjoyed walking through seeing all the different cultures and pieces. I wish it was a little bigger. Was able to make it through everything in under 45 min. Definitely will be going back sometime soon! Highly recommend.
Kelli C — Google review
I went here with my toddler and I was pretty disappointed with their lack of family friendliness. There is no kids section. I like that Wednesdays are a pay what you want day, and the staff were kind and not too harsh when reminding me and my kid about being safe around the art. For example I had a backpack for my baby bag, and they have a policy about keeping it on one shoulder to avoid hitting art behind you. Totally understandable and they were very kind about it. My kid played with the ropes at one point and they asked him not to. But they did it in such a kind way I didn't feel like I was being scolded. It's a great was to escape the heat during the summer, and I appreciate that it's open because there's a lot of museums that go under renovation this time of year. They have a cafe, but it closes pretty early (4:30 I think?) so we missed it. TLDR; Not kid friendly, but great staff and AC.

The Arizona Science Center is a dynamic 5-story hub of scientific exploration and entertainment. Visitors can immerse themselves in interactive exhibits that delve into the human body, mind, and various scientific phenomena. The center boasts a planetarium and an IMAX theater for captivating shows. From simulated natural disasters to hands-on displays showcasing mechanical and electrical principles, guests can engage with the forces of nature and renewable energy concepts.
We’ve been visiting the Arizona Science Center for years, and it never disappoints. They regularly feature different showcased exhibits throughout the year, keeping each visit fresh and exciting. One section we always appreciate is the Reduced, Reused, Recycled area—an engaging and important reminder of how we can all help conserve resources. The gemstones and natural elements displays are another highlight, showcasing fascinating specimens from Arizona and beyond. The center is full of hands-on activities—from sound experiments to weight distribution challenges, and even the thrill of riding a bike across a tightrope. The planetarium is always a standout for us—beautiful, immersive, and worth the extra cost. The 3D movie theater is also well-kept and enjoyable. We also love that they offer the Blue Star Museums program for military members and veterans—ID holders plus up to six guests get free entry (planetarium admission not included). The gift shop is reliably interesting, with unique finds every time, and the on-site restaurant usually serves really good food (though last time we visited it was under construction). Whether it’s a date night, an outing with friends, or a fun family adventure, the Arizona Science Center is a place we’re always happy to return to. Highly recommended!

We love using the ASTC Passport Program when we travel. This is the first museum we visited on the ASTC Passport Program that we had to pay for a family member to get in. It was total chaos on a Friday afternoon with school field trips attending the museum. We had a hard time using the elevator and not having our service dog get touched. Be aware the SkyBike costs money to do. We didn’t realize until my son had already waited in line for 30mins. It’s less than $10 to experience something pretty unique. The kids liked the health section and the poison exhibits the most. Fun afternoon at the Science Museum- happy we took a moment of our trip to experience.

We bought actual passes for our grandkids almost a year ago. We've been to the science center and average of about once per month. The kids love coming. They validate parking, so it costs $1 to park. Today there was an event, and the signs for parking said $40. After validation, it was $1. Also with the membership, you're able to come one hour early at 930am. That's been really nice, because for the first hour, there aren't a lot of people there. Recommended.
George M — Google review
Expensive and disappointed, I unfortunately came on an event day of “heritage event center” . Paid $30.00 parking and recommended bringing your ticket to their desk for a discount. They give maps and this place has gone down hill lol sorry it’s more for smaller kiddos…
Cynthia — Google review
We loved our visit! Our 2-year-old had a ton of fun. Lots to do and I think as he gets older he’ll enjoy it even more!
Matt S — Google review
Great time for my family! My almost 5 year old really enjoyed our time here the other day. There are three levels of exhibits ranging from the human body, physics, and a special temporary exhibit on poison. My daughter enjoyed engaging with the different exhibits and looking at everything. She was super excited! The exhibits are really good at helping kiddos understand the different concepts in a more hands-on way. I will say that some exhibits seemed to have seen better days. I hope they freshen these exhibits up soon to create a better experience for the kids in the future. The planetarium is temporarily closed until October — they renovated and reimagined it so we will absolutely be back for it!
Vanessa H — Google review
Have been before and had a great time however this visit a lot of the exhibits were broken. We primarily went to see the planetarium which is very nice but thought we'd stroll through the rest of the museum. My kids were pretty disappointed that so much of the interactive museum hasn't been maintained well.
Sarah B — Google review
What in the PBS 1998 outdated museum is this? It's nostalgic for millennials and older, but needs some serious upgrades to its graphics, videos, and displays for being a so called "Science Museum". 6 displays were out of order. The only saving grace is it's traveling displays and it's live science presentations. Other than that I can't see coming here every 5 years.

Historical landmark
Heritage & Science Park, also known as Historic Heritage Square, is a collection of historic homes and buildings in Phoenix. The area features history and science museums, as well as restaurants. One of the main attractions is the Rosson House Museum, a Queen Anne-styled Victorian house built in 1895. It's a must-visit for history enthusiasts due to its preservation of 18th-century furniture, wallpaper, woodwork, and decorative art.
Beautiful area with turn of the century homes and new buildings well. We attended a festival that was spread out pice the entire square and beyond. Perfect setting for this type of event.
Felicia W — Google review
I was here a few weeks ago for the Taste of Japan festival. It was 15 bucks for tickets and had a lot of booths. I had an amazing time. I got there 10 minutes before gates and there was a bit of a line. But around noon it got SUPER busy and lines for food took about 25 minutes. ALSO I was told they don't validate parking, so it costs 30 bucks for the day.
Breanna M — Google review
Nicely preserved houses, and the park is beautiful to walk around. The houses have been repurposed to serve as offices and restaurants. While the other houses have been redesigned as a museum and store.
Town T — Google review
I only walked through the houses. I did not go to the museum which seems oriented for children. The residential Heritage area is quite a small. I appreciate they have kept several of the houses in tact to give you an indication of how the pioneers settled into this region. I wanted to visit The Rosson House but the hours of visiting are really short and the list of days are also limited. My recommendation would be to make this part of larger downtown crawl.
The T — Google review
The Highlight of Heritage Square is the Rosson House. But you can only see it with a tour. Right now the participation of the really worth seeing tour is limited to 6 persons! So make sure, you come early enough to book a later tour, if it is booked out. The house from 1894 is really a jewel and our guide was funny and told us a lot of interesting stories. Don't miss that one out!
Manuel G — Google review
One of my favorite areas to take photos at downtown! They keep the landscape well maintained.
Lelah M — Google review
So to be upfront with this. It is a wonderful place to spend your evening, it is a great place great fun and great activities. The reason why I am giving it a one is because the parking. It has some public parking that comes right onto the square. . My family and I came before new years eve. And there was several prices. It's 0 if you were there for less a hour. There's another price that if it's a special event or a event going on its 12. We came in and supposedly we had to validate the ticket(Not like machines couldn't do it) , the time. There are no instructions on how to validate your ticket. We assume that the way you do validate are through the shops. Which we still had no way to validate it since most of the shops are closed. This entire process could easily be circumvented if you just put the time on the ticket. So we had to pay 12 dollars, this definitely soured the experience.
Philip T — Google review
Beautifully restored home makes you feel like you stepped back into the Phoenix Victorian era. The tour guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining. It cost $9 with a student ID, $10 without. Completely worth it!! Make sure to walk around all the other cool buildings too!!

Pizzeria Bianco is a popular Italian restaurant known for its handcrafted wood-fired pizzas served in a rustic-chic setting. It has set the standard for wood-fired pizza joints in the area and has had a significant influence on both local and national pizza scenes. The restaurant's James Beard-award-winning chef, Chris Bianco, is praised for crafting what some consider to be the best pizza in the world, thanks to the wood-fired oven and fresh ingredients used.
I first heard about this place from my aunt, a serious foodie who raved about it years ago when the owner first started making pizzas. This was actually my third visit. They start you off with fresh bread and a special oil that's seriously next-level--I could've just sipped the oil, it was that good. We tried the seasonal appetizer of navel oranges and fennel, which was super refreshing and delicious. As a huge pistachio fan, I had to try the Rosa pizza--and it did not disappoint. It's rich and packed with a unique, memorable flavor. Just a heads-up: if you're planning to get an appetizer, save some room. The pizza is so rich I could only manage one slice! I recommend this spot for a pizza night or a casual date night. The vibe is relaxed but has cool lighting and some really unique artwork that adds to the charm. We did not make a reservation and were able to walk in, but did have some weird interactions with the hostess in the beginning other than that the food was stellar.
Megan B — Google review
1st of all, service was so good! The workers were so genuine and took such good care of us. There was no wait and we walked right in. We got our pizza maybe 10 mins after we ordered, which seemed surprisingly fast. It was delicious!! The Bianco Verde was our favorite, highly recommend. The Farmers Market salad was amazing as well. Everything we ate was such good quality. It’s worth the hype.
Morgan J — Google review
Well worth the hype. It was packed even on a Monday afternoon, when we found outside seating. Quick service from helpful staff. Pizzas are absolute bomb, especially The Wiseguy — hands down the best. Second comes either the pistachio with cheddar OR feta with greens on top. Great combination both of them. You can’t go wrong here!
Jayesh S — Google review
My wife and I love Pizzeria Bianco it's a must every time we come to visit my parents. My wife always get the the pistachio parm pizza her favorite here. I always switch it up. Pizzeria Bianco takes its ingredients and its service seriously. Every pizza is handmade and the possible combinations are creative and delicious. You cannot go wrong with any of the pizzas they offer. These are large pizzas for one person so sharing might be a better way to go. 100% recommend!
Hagz — Google review
The place was absolutely packed when we arrived, and honestly, I think it’s a bit overrated. The atmosphere was fine and the staff were polite, but it took quite a while for our pizza to come out. My boyfriend really enjoyed it and thought the food was great, but to me everything tasted pretty average. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out either. Overall, it was an okay experience — not terrible, just not as amazing as everyone seems to say.
Pegah K — Google review
Fresh, hot, and delicious pizzas! I got a margherita with wood mushrooms and he got a (Rosa) pistachio pizza. We went on a Monday afternoon after probably a lunch rush went through. Lots of staff but not as many people in there. I've been in here before when it was a busy Saturday and the place was slammed. Nice atmosphere, nice vibe. For us it's a once in a year kind of visit for a birthday celebration but this time it was the first time during a slower afternoon which was a nice quieter pace. Worth the visit and the paid concierge parking. Definitely will be back.
Zerofever P — Google review
Best pizza I've ever had. Notice how the thin crust supports the toppings without bending, and it's perfectly toasted. The fennel sausage in the "Wiseguy" pizza had perfect flavor. The house-made mozzarella is incredibly fresh with such flavorful basil leaves. The staff all pitch in to help each other and create such a wonderful vibe that displays their pride in the food they serve. Watch how this chef searched relentlessly for perfect ingredients in the Netflix "Chef's Table Pizza" season 1 episode 1.
Tom E — Google review
Amazing experience at Pizzeria Bianco! The wait was about 45 minutes, but absolutely worth it. We had the Sonny Boy, Rosa, and Wise Guy (to go) — all brick-oven perfection. Fresh ingredients, stretchy cheese, and a crust that’s crunchy yet deliciously chewy. True Italian flavor with a magical touch. A must-visit for any foodie!

The Breakfast Club is a bright and casual cafe that offers a delightful breakfast experience. With locations in Bisbee, Mesa, and Old Town Scottsdale, this popular spot serves up great breakfasts, tasty lunches, and homemade pies in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The original building in Lowell expanded to meet increased demand while the Scottsdale location allows diners to customize their brunch dishes with handpicked ingredients.
This is a must try. The food is delicious. It was very hot in the morning already, they only had outside seating. We decided to stay because we have never been there. Next time we need to go earlier to sit inside.
Andrea R — Google review
Cute brunch spot with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a designated parking lot in the back. The bathroom was clean. Everyone was friendly. We were greeted at the door. We had to wait for about 20 minutes but nothing too crazy. My food was really good for the most part. I thought for sure that the grits were marked as VG (vegetarian). I took a small bite and it tasted a little off. I took another small bite and it tasted like meat grease in it. I asked the waiter and she didn't think it was cooked with any meat products but said she'd check. She came to say it's cooked with meat fat 😫 and quickly asked if I was a vegetarian. She apologized and said her sister was also vegetarian and had that happened to her, it would've been bad. I would recommend asking if there are food allergies before putting in the order.

We decided to try out The Breakfast Club in Scottsdale with my daughter-in-law, son, grandkids, and two friends — and we didn’t regret it one bit! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, right down to the fruit, which was perfectly ripe (not under or over). The Blueberry Lavender Lemonade was such a refreshing treat and quickly became a favorite between me and my grandson. And the Lemon Poppy Pancakes 🤤 … hands down a must-try! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience made for such a great outing with family and friends. We’ll definitely be back again!
DeAnna M — Google review
Great atmosphere, great service and great food. What else could you want? Started with a spicy Bloody Mary, added bacon… one of the best I’ve ever had. On point here! Opted for the avo-toast and added bacon. The eggs were great, the first was fresh and my only critique was that it needed some citrus. Would have preferred lemon, but stole my buddies lime and that was exactly what it needed. Great flavor, loved it. My buddy had the huevos rancheros. He said it was really good. The tortillas come out like tostadas just fyi. Very good meal and our server was amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

I will be excited to go back and visit this location again. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. It was just me by myself so I sat outside to eat and enjoy the weather on my last day in Arizona.

Denise G — Google review
Two thumbs up! Really good food. I love the vibe and the quality of the food is really good. I went there twice to have my breakfast in my 4 day stay in Scottsdale !
Ho K — Google review
The reason why I didn’t give them the 5 stars is because while the flavor of the chorizo eggs benedict was good, the English muffins were muchy instead of fresh and toasty, also, on the dish description it mentioned comes with pineapple pico de gallo, which reminded my some I had before at a different place, with the difference of the amount of pico de gallo was very little, at the point that I count the pieces. We also ordered pulled pork eggs benedict, which had an excellent flavor too, but again the muffins were not toasty. We’ll go back, because the menu seems to be yummy and varied, the place was very clean and good thing, they open at 6 AM

Hard Rock Cafe is a vibrant, rock 'n' roll-themed chain that exudes high energy and serves up classic American dishes like burgers. The restaurant is adorned with an extensive collection of rock star memorabilia, creating a cool and lively atmosphere. Visitors can expect a diverse menu offering delicious options such as cedar-wrapped salmon, broccoli, mashers, and California Cobb salad. The interior features eye-catching elements like a UFO guitar-embellished ceiling centerpiece and a piano.
The Hard Rock is usually a solid spot. Stopped here after a game to get some drinks. Place was about to close so it was pretty empty, but we stumbled through the door in single file ready to make it work! The interior was actually pretty great. Nice wood floors and things that would catch your attention including a piano. We sat down at the bar and the excellent bartender took our first round and then the last call. Prices were pretty steep for shots, but the bartender pointed out that they were 50% off during that time which was great! Had a great conversation with the bartender and not only that, but he gave us a free round as well as took shots with us so can't complain! Looking forward to stopping by here again and trying out the food as well. 5 out of 5 stars

This place is the new definition of cool. From the extensive collection of rock star memorabilia crammed into every space, nook and cranny - to the wild "UFO" guitar-embellished ceiling centerpiece suspended above you. The four of us went there for dinner and to see the place prior to the Joe Bonamassa concert nearby at the Comerica Theater. The menu is full of variety and the cedar wrapped salmon with a side of broccoli and mashers served with a grilled lemon was outstanding. The salmon portions were large and filling. Our vegan friends had the veggie burgers with fries. Prices are good. Drink selection is excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, entertaining and a delight to be around. The manager came around as we were finishing up to ask how we enjoyed our food and drink. Overall, a good experience.

Great place to eat and hang out. Our waitress was really great and friendly. The food was really good and the atmosphere is really cool. It was pretty empty because a dust storm came through. The waitress helped us feel welcome and not rushed while we waited the storm out. My only critique is that the restrooms needed attention.

It's Christmas day so we splurged on a movie and lunch. The service, drinks and food was great. I ordered the California Cobb salad and it was super yummy. I even had enough to bring home.

Kendra and Kristen were awesome. Very attentive, smiling and we never had to look for our sever for drinks. Kristen was very knowledgeable and shared the history of Hard Rock from memory. I watched as she table touched and made her rounds. We will be back again!

The best place in the town. I absolutely love this place and I love their burgers. They sell such fulfilling and hunger bursting food at such affordable prices. The place is definitely worthy of more than 5 stars. The amazing treatment that this place gives along with the tasty food makes it altogether a worth visiting place. It is a really good option for dining out. We usually visit this place for family dinners. Everyone in our family is fond of this place and it's food. Best in the area. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff.

We dropped in here for a late night dinner after a concert in the area. I haven't been to one of these since I was a child, so I had no idea what to expect. The food was actually pretty good for what it is. It's greasy, messy, and full of fat, but it tastes decent. I had the Hickory Barbecue Bacon Burger. It was big and greasy, but didn't have much in the way of flavor. The beef was a bit dry, the cheese was a little too aged, and the bun was too big and possibly a bit on the stale side. I know that all sounds terrible, but it actually wasn't that bad. Not much to say about the fries except that are good with the dipping sauce that accompanies them. The fries themselves are just okay, not too greasy which is good, but they were on the bland side. We had the Cauliflower Wings starter, and it was pretty good. I recommend doubling up on the Ranch dressing. Also, if you aren't a fan of spicy sauce, get the wing sauce on the side. My wife's chicken fingers were pretty good, especially with the Barbecue dipping sauce. They were moist and flavorful. I had a mojito, it wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. There was a sweetness I'm not accustomed to in a mojito which I was not a fan of.
Richard D — Google review
Amazing atmosphere. The manager was amazing. There was a mixup at the rock shop on a price and he took care of it personally. One of the warmest welcomes I've ever had at a restraunt. The all American sliders were juicy and well prepared. I will definatly be back. The memorabilia almost made me cry when I laid eyes on David Bowie's pants. Parking is 1.50 an hour on the street. But even that was completely worth it. #RockAndRollLives

Conference & Convention Centers
The Phoenix Convention Center is situated in the expansive metropolitan area of Greater Phoenix, known as the Valley of the Sun. While not primarily a tourist destination for specific attractions, it offers luxurious resorts with golf courses, pool complexes, gourmet dining, and spas that capitalize on Arizona's year-round sunny weather. Housed in the original Arizona State Capitol building, visitors can explore over 20 exhibits showcasing historical artifacts and engage in hands-on activities for all ages to learn about Arizona's journey to statehood.
The Phoenix Convention Center is a fantastic venue for the Volleyball Festival, offering a massive amount of space to accommodate numerous courts simultaneously. Its layout, with multiple buildings and halls, provides ample room for both competition and spectator seating. The convenient location in downtown Phoenix also provides easy access to hotels, dining, and other amenities, making it a great destination for teams and families.

This is a very accommodating space. I attended a 4 day convention and it was amazing. This CC is easy to navigate (ADA assessibble), had many food options within the facility, & was in close proximity to our hotels. Thank you Phoenix!

Beautiful modern facility with large ballroom, event spaces, and lots of smaller meeting rooms for break out sessions and classes. Well designed and well maintained.

I was very happy with my experience here for the G.I. conference this past week. The conference center is very large. I found that you actually walked around less here compared to other conference centers even though it’s very large. We did not utilize the whole space however there was a lot of areas that were quiet that you can make phone calls or just relax after a long day at the conference. In the rooms there was comfort chairs. There were times where they made the rooms too small unfortunately for some of the events but overall, I am pleased. The staff was very friendly and they have a food hall that’s in house with food that is above average quality, but was also a high price tag at a convention center. Overall, the area is very safe and there’s a lot of restaurants around. They also have guides that stood outside during the conference that you could ask questions too, which was a nice touch. One other thing is there was always water available in case you were thirsty.

We attended Phoenix Fan Fusion. What a massive event! Convention center and staff did a great job managing crowds. I saw them ensuring safety and cleanliness throughout the weekend.(See update below). The bag check area could use a little more shade. Staff were actively helping folks. We had someone with a medical condition and needed to bring supplies in. The staff at the bag check were quick to support his needs. Update from the last day: The escalator staff seemed to selectively allow exhibitors to bring wagons on the escalator (cute ones). My family were only asking to be treated the same as others. My husband was managing young adults with autism and trying to navigate out with their exhibit supplies. They were directed to the elevators, which were not working. My daughter was getting amped up from the stress of the situation and fell coming down the stairs. None of the immediate staff offered any help. She sustained pretty significant rug burns when she landed. Did the convention center have first aid support? Apparently not. One employee (female) ended up helping her up. I recognize that employees get tired of dealing with people at an event this size. Fair and decent human kindness for my family would have been appreciated in this moment.

I only wish there was more seating available for Old-Timers like myself and the AC blew colder but outside of that it was a great Grand Ole Time. There was Lots of creativity lots of costumes lots of good vendors and good stuff to buy the food was good this year and I'm looking forward to next year with my baby girl will be a year older and dressed up as Wonder Woman.

I think Arizona is like the 45th best date because it’s got really cool mountains and red rocks and some greener country in the north and some high deserts in the south Monson are pretty awesome but the heat man the heat just sucks and I grew up here so in the summer was were shorter and I was younger and it was easier to handle but now that I’m getting older The summer seemed to last from May to October and then November is beautiful. December is pretty nice and then it gets cold January in February and then hot March April May, and then scorching hot June July August, and then hot September October and then nice in November so if you’re planning on coming to Arizona or moving, just move here for one month a year otherwise just 45 better states to live in

At the convention center got Fan Fusion 2025. For what would be largest con turnout (predicting 70k guests) the facility and its staff did a fantastic job. The convention center is three filled with meeting space, conference rooms, and public space. Several bathrooms and all remained clean all weekend. The staff (AJ and the Pride Group) put on a great show. There were events and enough activities to fill three days. The Pride Group worked quick, efficiently, all smiled all weekend, helpful and really ensured we were all taken care of, safe, and clean. I will be back next year for sure.

Royal Coffee Bar, established in 2006, is a family-owned business that offers freshly brewed coffee and espresso drinks in a classic European style. The quaint historic Heritage Square carriage house built in 1899 serves as the hub for much of their operation, including roasting. Each location employs dedicated baristas who prioritize quality by remaking drinks with fresh beans when necessary. This cozy spot provides an unpretentious atmosphere and a serious approach to coffee-making.
Stopped by this coffee place inside the Biltmore Fashion District and was pleasantly surprised. Great coffee, smooth and rich in flavor—exactly what I needed during a shopping break. The location is super convenient, right inside the mall, making it an easy stop whether you’re shopping or just passing through. Cozy vibe and friendly staff too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and need a good caffeine fix!

Went out of my way to finally try the spot, but the espresso machine was down. Understandable but kind of disappointing. Cute little shop though

Coffee is above average, service pretty good, but what coffee shop isn’t open before 8 am? I live in the neighborhood and I can’t tell you how much I’d like to have a local coffee shop within walking distance other than Press, which is usually full.
Noah S — Google review
This tiny coffee shop is hidden right next to the MAC store. I ordered the large iced white chocolate raspberry mocha. Super good! Also, there was an Uncrustable on the counter where they had some baked goods. Pretty sure those are supposed to be kept cold. Would hate for someone to get sick. Who knows how long it was sitting out. Yuck.
Christine J — Google review
I have no idea what time this place opens! Google says 7 am Yelp says 10 am and there is no website to reference/hours posted. Went there this morning at 7:10 and it was closed. Went there one other time about a week ago(right around 8 am) and the drinks were good but service was meh. We live about three minutes away and would love for this to be one of our local coffee, shops, but it's not looking good.

Dorrance Planetarium is a must-visit for families with children of all ages, offering engaging shows that inspire creativity and imagination through art, science, and technology. Visitors can enjoy visually stunning presentations such as 'Beautifica' or the entertaining 'Grand Tour of the Solar System,' which features a humorous and engaging presenter.
Went to see the Beautifica light show by James Woods. It was amazing. It's hard to explain so someone would have to look it up. There have been other shows he has done. I finally was able to go and took my Mother-in-law. We were both in amazement by this show. It's an absolute must if you're able to. Looking forward to seeing another one sometime. We had VIP tickets so we didn't wait. But there was a line for the others not sure how much of a wait on that line.
Helen B — Google review
We saw Beautifica 360 last week and the show itself was absolutely amazing loved the narrating that went with it and felt it was an amazing message that all need to hear & experience. I gave this 3 stars only because the show had to start & restart 3 times I also was anticipating the seats reclining and being more immersed in the theater rather then getting a neck ache. But with all that I would still attend another show & would highly recommend it but would purchase VIP to get the better seating if you get general seating arrive early to get in line or else you will be front row. And a heads up you can bring water into the theater!
Angela V — Google review
The planetarium is sooo cool, BUT I don’t recommend taking kids. We saw the Arizona Constellations show. It’s a little dry and boring for little ones. I hope they create a show that is a little more simple and geared towards children! I also wish it was included in admission because $14/ticket per show is pretty steep.
Kymber P — Google review
Seats aren't set up ergonomically enough to enjoy a good show. I wish the seats reclined. They should also set up a system where the people who order tickets for shows far in advance get priority seating, instead of a free for all. This is what movie theaters do. Will probably not come back here, unfortunately. The staff, however, was nice.
Rae — Google review
Was an amazing experience. My husband came up with the idea for date night and it was amazing.
Katja B — Google review
Went to see the Beautifica show. After reading about the presentation I was pretty excited about it so we bought tickets for a date night. Though the visuals were stunning and the music was awesome, the actual show was quite boring and repetitive. We kept waiting for something to happen, a climax of some kind but the different segments seemed very disjointed. It didn't help that random words and phrases were an overlay on the music; breathe, alive, love etc. I really wanted to like this experience but hubs and I were quite happy when it was over. Though I'm definitely more "artsy" than he, I just did not understand the message of this performance. Probably something about the body, love, birth and life....but in the end, not worth the price of admission.
Marni R — Google review
went to see beauitifica not sure if it was supposed to look like it did, but it was like watching a CG movie through a pair of sun glasses. everything seemed dim and out of focus. there were a few times when something was in pretty sharp focus but the majority of it was very soft. Music was WAY louder than it needed to be. on 2 or 3 occasions it actually made me slightly dizzy. I really like CG video but this would have impressed me if it was 1995.
The F — Google review
I'm not usually one to complain but I was not impressed with the planetarium. I thought that it would explore all of outer space like a national geographic take or feel and narration, music ECT. Instead it was an in person speaker who gives facts about each planet. I was bored within 5 minutes. Not anything I Remember going to as a kid. It was visually un-interesting becuase you stare at the same planet for 5 minutes while the guy annoyingly tells you facts about each one zoom in zoom out. Next planet. The graphics were incredibly blurry as well. Definitely disappointed it was not the celestial journey through space as I initially was expecting. Several families including mine walked out within ten minutes. If you like boring then this is the place you to waste your money on. That will also be my first and last time at the science center which was also disappointing. I would rate it a 3 star alot of the stations you went to were also not even working so you could not interact with it. Also the parking was closed so we had to pay $30 to park in the event garage because there was no other parking available and didn't not give information where to go. Confusing to find as well. Rant over.

Wow, Went in with a rain check. The clerk accidentally overcharged me, so I went back in to get a refund. An extremely rude Store manager “Kay” tried to tell me that “BOGO” as written on the rain check actually means buy one get one 50% off (oddly enough the same value the clerk charged and thats how she (kay) writes it) she also wouldn’t look up the sale price for Me. Then later I realized that I had a photo of the sales tag on my phone, so I went back to the store. Her response to the photo was I should go back to the store I got the rain check from. And that they were just being nice by giving me any discount at all. But here’s the problem Kay or is It karen? that’s not Sprouts policy. Check the website. rain checks are good at any store. So ya wasted a bunch of time trying to get the rain check price and got shut down by a middle aged white woman with purple hair who I’m willing to bet money is divorced. Needless to say I’ll be doing everything I can to avoid this store going forward

Nobuo at Teeter House is a Japanese restaurant nestled in a late victorian cottage home in historic Heritage Square in Phoenix. This was my fourth visit to this restaurant, and I had to laugh a bit as my guests and I were seated at the same table as our previous visits. Apparently, we seem to be becoming regulars! To start the evening we ordered two add-ons to the $44 prix-fixe menu: Oyster with spicy daikon and ponzu sauce, and Tempura Squash Blossom stuffed with goat cheese, shiitake mushroom, dried shrimp, and chives. The fresh tasting oyster with the spicy daikon and slightly sour ponzu is a delicious amuse. The squash blossom is crisp and tasty, with creamy goat cheese and a slight hint of shrimp. It’s so delicious it makes me want to have another, even though I know I need to save room for the bento box which will soon be at the table. The service is consistent and friendly at Nobou, and they are always willing to explain any menu item questions. The first course was Hassun, a Japanese antipasto of four small adventures in taste and texture; haricot vert in miso-ginger glaze, snap peas with ground sesame and yuzu, roasted brussel sprouts with wasabi, and watermelon radish in a citrus dressing. Delicious and inventive. The second course is offered as a meat or fish three compartment bento box with rice and salad. I chose the meat option which included short rib slowly braised in ponzu with fried baby carrot and red chilli threads, which was perfectly seasoned and prepared, divine! Also included was fried chicken nanban with pickled pepper and egg salad, and braised pork belly bun with pickled mustard and hoisin sauce. The chicken was crispy and delicious and reminiscent of a picnic with the egg salad and pickled pepper. The pork belly bun was also hearty, tasty, and fulfilling. Finally, dessert is served: strawberry cheesecake, albeit, creatively constructed. I felt it was marginally satisfying to my sweet tooth and appropriate to the cuisine. Nobuo at Teeter House has never failed to impress me in artistry, skill, or flavor. Overall, another very enjoyable dining experience, assuring a return visit in the near future.

I am welcomed with warmth as I enter the doorway. Something special is cooking in the back, and I'm intrigued. I ask for a seat and I'm quickly placed in the corner but without a care. I know this music. A jukebox could exist here and it would never stop playin the music that sets the mood. Tonight it's California Soul. Outside crowds gather seeking Phoenix magazine famous pizza but if they only knew what was happening here. It's reasonably busy and the crowds filter in after the Opening day victory by the Dbacks bested the “Sawks” (Boston Accent exaggerated in my mind, like Chief Wigam from the Simpsons.) I'm enveloped in the tasting menu and my night gleefully gets better. The staff run the place like Fitz and Taurasi would, if given the chance to play the same sport. My water stays full and attention to detail is never lost. I'm happy to return any time, any place. “Saif Special”

I had the premium tasting of 7 courses. It was good; but overpriced for the experience. Feedback for improvement: 15-20mins between courses is long. And the lamb chops are medium rare one side but burned the other side; by 'burned' I mean turned to coal!
