Gage Park, Brampton's oldest park located in the downtown core, offers a variety of attractions for visitors. In the warm months, it hosts weekly concerts and has a wading pool and splash pad. In winter, an outdoor skating rink is available. The park features beautiful flower gardens, walking paths, and picnic areas making it ideal for family outings or leisurely days in the sun.
One of the most beautiful public parks in downtown Brampton with an awesome skating ring during winter This is the place to go to during the festivities The Christmas decorations and the way it’s lit and decorated during Christmas is a must visit It’s breathtakingly beautiful Would definitely recommend visiting this beautiful park I could go there every single day and be jaw dropped
Alka V — Google review
I went for a walk to Gage Park in Brampton, and it was incredible! The Christmas lights display was stunning, showcasing Canadian heritage and culture in such a unique way. If you have some time, you should definitely visit Gage Park in Brampton—you won’t be disappointed!
Irene M — Google review
This is a nice little park best during the Christmas season. They have a skating rink with equipment rentals. Its a bit difficult to find the parking. The best option is to park at the City Hall public parking where the first hour is free. Great for Christmas photos
Sanand A — Google review
Gage Park is an absolute gem during the holiday season! The city transforms the entire park into a winter wonderland, with beautiful Christmas lights that create a festive, magical atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to get into the holiday spirit. Whether you're strolling through the park to admire the lights or enjoying a fun evening of ice skating on the rink, there’s something for everyone. The best part,It’s all free! You can gather with family and friends, take in the seasonal displays, and skate without spending a dime. The ice rink is well-maintained, offering a great spot for both beginners and seasoned skaters alike. Overall, Gage Park provides a wonderful, budget-friendly outing where you can make lasting memories with your loved ones. If you're looking for a joyful and festive experience, this park is definitely worth a visit during the holidays.
G.S P — Google review
Gage Park is a very beautiful park specially during the winter with it's free outdoor ice skating rink. The rink is surrounded by beautiful lighting making it a delight to skate at night. Skate rentals and sharpening is also available. Rentals cost $15 for 2 hours and $10 for kids aged 12 and under, helmets are also available to rent at $5. The rink is open daily from 5pm-10pm and 10am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Underground parking is available in City Hall. Overall a nice option for a winter outdoor family activity.

Gage Park in Brampton is an amazing place. Beautiful park with lots of trees and greenery. Personally, I like it during the snowtime. During the winter, the park is illuminated with lights all over, and an absolute delight and treat to the eyes and mind. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience in the freezing cold, worth it, unforgettable and just loved it. Not to miss this illuminated experience during the next winter.
Thonta P — Google review
I was staying near Gage Park. I used to come here almost every week. I have seen this park in every season. Now I'm shifted to another place and i miss this park very much. It was such a cute park with cherry blossom tree, Farmer's market, fall colors, tree lightening ceremony, skating rink, beautiful decoration, and jamming sessions by some freelance musicians on weekends. I miss everything. I wish to come here someday to enjoy the charm of this park.
Archana W — Google review
As everyone is visiting places to get the wonderful view of cherry blossoms, me and my friend decided to go to Gage Park as it is in the Downtown hence, very accessible by bus. Although front side of the park was temporarily fenced due to renovation probably, we still got beautiful sight of the white cherry blossoms. We soaked ourselves in the sunlight and the fresh air and clicked tons of nice pictures. The bungalow is a great place to get clicked with. Overall, it was worth of spending time! Made our day!

The skating experience here was great! Went on a Saturday night and loved that it was not over crowded. The park was so cute with lights and skate rentals provided on site. There were washrooms and some staff available to help on ice. Skate aids require a helmet rental and are limited to around 4 so it’s first come first serve. We are new skaters and once on the ice, it was manageable but if you need support like rails or barriers then this may not be the outdoor rink for you. There was also ample parking on site. Would recommend.
Zoha K — Google review
All times fav park 😌with a lot of activities to do Chinguacousy Park, is the heart of Brampton. It is a nice park which that exemplifies natural beauty and recreational excellence. Spanning over 200 acres, the park features a diverse landscape that includes lush gardens, expansive lawns, and tranquil water features, creating a picturesque setting for relaxation and outdoor activities. It has golf, train ride fountains, farm animals, rides for children and too much to explore. And nice view from the top of the hill. One of the park’s standout attractions is its beautifully maintained botanical gardens. The vibrant floral displays, seasonal plantings, and well-designed garden beds offer a feast for the eyes and a peaceful retreat for visitors. The park's numerous walking trails meander through its natural beauty, providing scenic routes for leisurely strolls and invigorating runs. Families and children will find much to enjoy with the park’s expansive playgrounds, splash pads, and picnic areas. The serene pond and fountain offer a calming backdrop, enhancing the park’s appeal as a place for reflection and leisure. Additionally, the park hosts various community events and activities throughout the year, contributing to its lively atmosphere and strong community engagement. Overall, Chinguacousy Park combines natural beauty with recreational amenities, making it a cherished destination for both relaxation and enjoyment in Brampton.

Ok this park is awesome. We went around 11:30am so still plenty of parking. We did the petting zoo, splash pad, park and mini golf. We had alot of fun although my daughter fell at the splash pad hitting her head, saying it was quite slippery. Will take water shoes next time. Everything else is great though and will go back.
Melissa F — Google review
A nice and fun place for family. You can embrace nature even when you live from the city side. It has a huge playground for kids, peacful place for relaxing in the fountain side. There are tables for picnics (Clean as you go). Not too crowded especially on weekdays. Best season to catch here for me is fall. I hope this information helps. See photos for more details. It was all taken during fall.
Claude R — Google review
Perfect place for nature-lovers…one can do brisk walk, cycling, jogging and many more other activities while enjoying the scenic beauty of greenery, water pond, blooming vibrant flowers and cool breeze. So many rides for children, along with the splash pads for kids and adults as well. One can have a great picnic time with family and friends there. If not to do anything, just sit, relax and breathe; you will find yourself in the lap of mother nature there😊😊
Aakriti G — Google review
Perfect place for families with kids to chill out and have some fun! Less busy in the mornings. Pony rides and the petting zoo are a big win for the kids. You can rent scooters inside the park for $5. Pony rides are $4 and entry into the petting zoo is $2. Refreshments are reasonably priced too. Paddle boating is $10 for a boat for 30 mins. Overall a must visit!!
Dr. S — Google review

The trail is also very beautiful perfect for a walk or cycling. Kids can enjoy riding bikes or scooties on the trails as well. It also has a nice pond and some benches nearby to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Entry and parking is free and has ample parking space. Overall it is a great place to spend a day in the outdoor with your friends and family.

The park offers various outdoor activities such as hiking trails through forests and wetlands, fishing and boating on the lake, treetop trekking, zip-lining courses, and a splash pad for families to enjoy.
Had an amazing first kayaking experience at the park! I was nervous at first, but the staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel at ease. The lake was calm and perfect for beginners. Ended up having so much fun—can’t wait to go again!
Khushboo — Google review
A wonderful little lake, excellent views and nice hiking trails. Easy access with picnic areas and parking. Did not have difficulties ourselves but for some the hike could be longer to go around. Remember where you entered , eg L1 to L18 markers.
Dave C — Google review
It is very expansive and expensive to enter. Approx $28 after tax for a car of two persons. Trails were hard to navigate and very much nothing. The lakeside is lame. This place wpuld be great for a peaceful picnic. Lots of tables and space. The cost would clearly keep the population out. Its clean lots of parking.
Natasha H — Google review
Heart Lake is such a beautiful and wide open park. Everything is really well kept and maintained, and even the washrooms are clean, which is a huge plus. There are tons of picnic benches scattered around, so it’s easy to find a spot to sit and relax. The park has a bit of everything: a splash pad, pool, hiking trails, Treetop Trekking, and lots more to do. The entrance fee is on the steep side at around $28 per car, but it feels worth it when you see how much care goes into keeping the place nice. You can come here for a picnic, to hang out, or just to spend a day outdoors. Parking is never an issue either since there’s a ton of it, and it’s also a popular spot for people to host events.
Gabe H — Google review
It’s a wonderful scenic area with easy access for trails n family gatherings. Truly enjoyed a race event there. Treetop trekking is another great activity there.
Maliha M — Google review
We had an amazing time here! It’s a great place for a family picnic. The pool was perfect for swimming, and the lake offers a beautiful view. There were also other features we didn’t get to try, like the tree-top trekking, which would be a great option for our next holiday trip..
Maryam M — Google review
I did the kayaking by the lake with some friends. Customer service was great--I called a few times in advance for booking changes and was also greeted kindly and provided with support. We had a great time. Would come again.

In Parking lot, there are so many big nails. Why management is not looking into this. I saw around 8 nails in the parking lot. Be careful while parking. First you pay $28 for parking and then end up with a flat tire.

Claireville Conservation Area is a suburban conservation area located at the border between Brampton and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Covering 343 hectares of land, it features wetlands, valleys, forests, grasslands, and the Humber River. Visitors can enjoy bird watching and explore the natural landscape while hiking and cycling trails throughout the conservation area.
A beautiful conservation area, located just outside the city. Small free parking located at the entrance. We hiked the full loop which is under 4km and takes less than an hour. There are sections of fields, mature forests and a portion overlooking the creek. A great spot to spend an hour out in nature.
Brent — Google review
There are three entry points with parking spaces (no fees, and this one has adequate space even on Sunday as the trails open to the surrounding Neighborhood). In general, you will be all right if you follow the map (other hiking site could be wrong as no return loop once you crossed the concrete bridge to the parking lot when you travel along 407). Plenty of things to explore and more enjoyable once you are away from the main road.
MikeColumbia — Google review
There isn't a great deal of garbage on the actual trail but in the parking lot, there is quite a bit scattered around the ground. It seems most people who come to clairville opt to just sit in the parking lot than actually go hiking. Cellular signal is spot at parts. Averaging 2/4 bars of signal. The parking is free and usually isn't full during the week. The east parking lot is smaller but the west side has quite a big parking lot with a bike station with some tools.
Summer V — Google review
Nice trail for walking with friends and dogs. Things could be marked a bit better, and there’s quite a bit of walking on the hot open road before you get into the forested areas. Do yourself a favour and bring bug spray, and watch for poison ivy, and you’ll have a very good time here. There are nice views and scenic areas to walk through.
Nashid — Google review
Claireville Conservation Area is one of the best natural escapes in the GTA — I’ve been there many times for hikes and bike rides. It’s huge, with wide trails that wind through forests, fields, and wetlands, offering a real sense of peace away from city noise. It’s great for walking, cycling, horseback riding, and even wildlife spotting — you’ll often see deer early in the morning. The park is clean and well-marked, though some trails can get muddy after rain. Parking is free and easy to access. A must-visit for nature lovers.
Omar A — Google review
My favourite place ever to go for a nice walk. I really appreciate everyone who maintains this space for us to enjoy. Please be respectful and clean up after yourself, there is lots of wildlife here and this is their home so we need to respect that! Also, just clean up after yourself as a basic human rule!
Queen — Google review
Have been to this park so many times and it never fails to amaze me. So many different trails and paths, and it’s very quiet and peaceful. Around fall all the leaves change into beautiful colours and it’s great smell the fresh air and see all of the wonderful trees and plants. They also have horse back riding, i’ve never been before but it seems worth checking out.
Ari D — Google review
A peaceful spot with wide trails, forested paths, and wetlands—great for walking or birdwatching. It’s surprisingly quiet for being so close to the city. On the downside, signage is minimal and some areas feel a bit neglected. Parking can fill up fast on weekends. Still, it’s a solid escape if you’re nearby and want nature without a long drive.

White Spruce Park, located in Brampton, Ontario, is a peaceful natural area that offers various activities for outdoor enthusiasts. The park features well-maintained hiking trails, sports fields, and a leash-free dog park. Visitors can explore groomed and ungroomed trails that wind through the lush green forest and connect to the Esker Lake Recreational Trail. Additionally, the park boasts a disc golf course with 19 baskets and a tennis court nestled among the trees.
This place is an absolute delight, offering a perfect blend of activities and natural beauty. With a disc golf course, two tennis courts, and a well-maintained dog park, there's something for everyone to enjoy. After a long day, this spot is my go-to for unwinding. Whether you're looking to play a round of disc golf, take a leisurely walk, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere, this park is a must-visit, especially in the fall when the foliage transforms into a stunning display of colors. Beautiful and calming—just wow!
S J — Google review
This is one of my favourite dog parks! It’s spacious with a mix of vegetation and landscapes. There are wide open areas, a trail, and shaded spots. Benches and picnic tables are available for owners and lots of “sniff spots” for the pups! My dog has found lots of friends here, both animal and human. People are very welcoming and typically non-judgmental. There is lots of opportunity for alone time, individual play (such as Chuck-It with your own pup), and interactive play with others. A great dog park! Please be aware, though, that you must bring water as there is none available there and that this spot closes for the winter!!
Dianne C — Google review
I visited this place for the first time. It was by the end of fall and the place was so beautiful with a riot of colors. It was calm and peaceful. Not like the usual parks where you see a plenty of people roaming around or chatting and making loud noises. Parking is free and available most of the time, but there is no such designated parking spots for handicapped people.
Roshan R — Google review
This is a fantastic disc golf course , it would be really hard when the leaves are in full bloom . But the cooler weather allowes you to make some rookie mistakes without to much of a penalty or losing your disc in the deep rough ! This is definetly a must play !
Korey K — Google review
My husband loved going to the dog park and wandering the trails year round. They have a Frisbee golf course, that is quite popular. You can walk the trails from White Spruce to Heart Lake Conservation Area.
Kathryn P — Google review
In one word, this place is magnificient. It is clean, it is green, it is quiet and it is serene. It has a disc golf course with 19 baskets. You dont need to book it or spend a dime on that. Parking and entry is free. You keep going inside and you will find out a tennis court amidst the green forests. Further ahead is a dog park. The landscape is perfect for photography. Only thing it lacks is a water fountain so make sure you carry a bottle with you. The park looks beautiful in fall. Thanks.
Pravesh S — Google review
A nice park to enjoy a long walk, with plenty of incline hills along your path. When the paved trail ends, you'll see a tennis court and a dog park. If you continue walking, the trail will end (and begin) at a residential neighborhood on Richvale Dr. Fitness enthusiasts will enjoy this trail!

Nice, small park, with a lot of birds (walk quietly), pebbles under your feet are pleasant to walk (I recommend walking in shoes with soft soles) there is a large football bol A lot of birds (ducks, geese) live in the lake

The largest park it is... Many attractions one can find here. People were enjoying themselves to the fullest. Picnic, football, soccer, electric bike, fountain (where kids were enjoying and playing with water and getting drenched) Many activities were happening at the same time due to the large area. There was a gazibo and many areas where parties were organised. (Kid's birthday party was being celebrated) Just outside of the park, there was a cute and tempting ice cream van..!! Parking is huge enough, it was easy for us to find the parking even though there was a rush in the park. Much recommended place.

Amazing park on sandalwood and creditview intersection. The splash pad has a few varieties and kids love it. There are enough benches around to set the base. Press a sensor button and the splash gets active. There are plenty of swings to choose from. There are soccer fields, open fields, a walking path and some exercise equipment. Overall a wonderful park with plenty of parking. For the splash pad, go to the south parking lot, from the creditview side.

Best park in Brampton for people of all ages. It has a great path for walking and biking, people play all kinds of sports, a splash pad for the kids, a basketball court and equipment spread around the park for physical training. I am there almost everyday with my dog and he loves it. The fields and the paths are properly maintained by the staff including the washrooms for visitors and outdoor gazebos. Lucky to have one close to my house. Great idea by the city and amazing job maintaining it.

Great Walking Trail. Good option to learn direction for new learners as its comparatively small trail and less hurdles. You can have multiple exit points so you can take walk as per your capacity. Trail can lead you and you can reach up to Heart Lake Conservation Park easily.

**A Serene Oasis in Brampton: Professor's Lake Review** Professor's Lake is a hidden gem in Brampton, offering a serene escape from urban life. The man-made lake is surrounded by beautifully maintained trails perfect for walking, biking, or roller skating. During summer, the beach area is bustling with activities like swimming, paddle boating, and beach volleyball. The water quality is regularly tested, ensuring a safe environment for visitors. The recreation centre provides amenities such as party rooms and watercraft rentals, making it ideal for family outings. While the water slide and inflatable water park add excitement for kids, the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views make it a great spot for relaxation. Overall, Professor's Lake is a must-visit for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat for the whole family .

Great lake for inflatable boats, but staff communication needs work We visited this lake with our inflatable boat and overall had a great time. Parking was free, and the daily boat admission was only $6.54 (tax included), which is very reasonable. If you’re bringing your own kayak, canoe, or inflatable boat, it’s super simple, just head into the main building, pay the fee, and you’re good to launch from the designated area. The lake itself was calm, clean and perfect for a relaxing paddle or trolling motor ride. However, the staff seemed a bit disorganized. We were told they’d open the gate for us to launch the boat, but despite several employees being around and not being busy, they were slow to respond and didn’t seem to communicate well with each other. It took longer than it should have to get set up. That said, once you’re on the water, it’s worth it. Would definitely go back.

Update: Love it here! A little too windy to be on the water today, so I enjoyed a run instead. I enjoyed my first visit to Professor’s Lake. I brought my own kayak and spent $6.00 for the full day access. There are two parking lots. If you are bringing your own craft, I would suggest the second lot closer to the lake. Buy your ticket inside and show your receipt at the gate to be let in. Even if the lake is closed for swimming, it will still be open for water craft activities.

What a gem! Very reasonably priced to rent canoes/kayaks. $8 for 30 minutes to rent a canoe! Sadly the beach was closed due to water quality. Will call in advance next time or check the website. Didn’t know you can book a canoe/kayak in advance either.

Always a treat to visit this park, especially when the cherry blossoms are at peak bloom & sometimes you even get to catch some live guitar tunes - add to that the perfect summery breeze...a lovely way to end the afternoon. Pictures are from last year, looking forward to seeing this year’s blooms 🌸🌸🌸

We went here specially for cherry blossom and it was a very beautiful experience. It is crowded as of now since it's peak season of Cherry blossom. There are around 25 Sakura trees and flowers are bloomed beautifully. This park has good connectivity with Public transport and there are watery options near by to grab pizza or subway

It was really beautiful! I went to see the cherry blossoms in May and they were so cool to look at! It was a bit crowded but I didn't mind. It was just such an exciting experience to enjoy these trees before the leaves start to fall

A decent place to go for a walk or cycling.. a small park with a river/ creek mostly famous for its intimate contact with Cherry blossom tree/ flowers..!! There are no slides/swings for children on benches around the corners. The parking area is also near the tennis court which ia at distant, so once you park your car you will have to go by walk , cross the river and then enter the park!! And yes there are loads of restaurant nearby walking distance !! Thank you

Additionally, it boasts the best ice skating rink in the area and provides dedicated spaces for skateboarders, basketball enthusiasts, and baseball players. Well maintained ice, fun outing with the kids bring you sharpened skates and enjoy the ice. They have good elevator music and not overly busy. Great to get out and keep active.

I've been a proud member of this community center since 2010, and I can confidently say it's an incredible place! The pool is simply fantastic. The shimmering blue waters invite you in for a refreshing dip. I’ve spent countless hours at the skate park, honing my skills since I was just a little kid, gliding on my busted BMX 😂 and feeling the thrill of the ride. Over the years, I've encountered my fair share of challenges, like dealing with bullies during my younger days, but those experiences taught me valuable lessons. It's all about playing ball, ride safe & being responsible, and showing respect to everyone around you! 😊

Have had my daughter in learn to skate here for a couple of years now. Good program but cold arena. Prepare yourself with warm clothes if you’re thinking of putting your kids in the program. The arena does have heaters but will not put them on. Even when asked they make up an excuse stating that the outside temperature needs to be at a certain amount before they turn them on. Quite disappointing

This park shines in both winter and summer, offering thrilling sledding opportunities on its big hills during the colder months and exciting biking trails when the weather warms up. Visitors can enjoy various activities in the expansive open spaces while witnessing joyful moments shared among loved ones, especially children reveling in their outdoor adventures.
This has been a perfect winter getaway for quick outings in the snow every year. The hills are steep enough for tobogganing and snowball fights with little ones. It's tough to find parking, and the place can get crowded on popular days. It is good fun on sunny afternoons after a pile of snow.

Great spot for tobogganing. It has verities of Heights so it’s good for all ages. However, there is no parking space available. You can find a close by parking like 3-5 min walk. Professor's Lake: A Haven for Anglers Professor's Lake truly lives up to its reputation as an excellent spot for avid anglers. My recent visit confirmed why so many fishing enthusiasts flock to its shores. The lake is rumoured to be home to a variety of species, and from what I've heard and observed, these rumours hold true. Many report successful catches of pike, pickerel, and bass, offering a thrilling challenge for those seeking larger game. While I haven't personally reeled in anything large yet, the community consensus is strong that these bigger fish are definitely present. For a more relaxed fishing experience, there are also plenty of sunfish and bluegill, making it a great place for families or those new to the sport. Beyond the fish, the lake offers a serene natural environment. We were delighted to spot several turtles basking in the sun today, adding to the peaceful ambiance. For the best fishing success, local wisdom suggests timing is key. Early mornings, just as the sun rises, and later evenings, around sunset, are consistently recommended as the prime times to cast your line. The calm waters and beautiful light during these hours also make for a particularly enjoyable experience. Overall, Professor's Lake is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy a day of fishing in a scenic setting. Whether you're after a trophy pike or simply enjoying the tranquility and the chance to reel in some panfish, this lake has something to offer every angler.

There is no parking but it's nice to walk there or you can park in front of a house or park near by and then walk 5/5 and there is even more like more areas to walk, a skating rink, two Porta pottys in front of the ice skating rink I don't recommend using them. But I recommend the park.

Couldn't find entrance of this park. Moved around all corners but entrance was not found. No signs or markings about the park or directions were found across. Even google map could jot lo ate right entrance to it. No parking or trails were located going towards the park or nearby junctions. Highly not recommended. It was total waste of time looking for that park.

Best place to hangout with friends and family. There is a nice trail which first leads to a park from a big baseball ground and then leads to splashpad. There is also a tennis court for free for people to do recreational events. Have fun guys!

I was unable to find a designated car parking for the park.. parked in the street and then walked to the splash pad area.. the splash pad was nice but very few equipments.. few children were enjoying it.. there were broken pieces of glasses strewn across the slides/swings play area.. stayed only for 10-15 mins and then left for another park..

Creditview Sandalwood Park is Ontario's first fully accessible park, spanning 40 hectares and catering to individuals with physical, mental, and emotional challenges. The park offers a variety of activities such as a splash pad, climbing structures, playgrounds for toddlers and older children, swings, and more. While some areas are covered in wood chips that can be messy on windy days, most of the park features a rubber surface.
Creditview Sandalwood Park is an absolute gem for families, especially if you have young children. I recently visited with my preschooler, and we both had an amazing time! The park is beautifully maintained with plenty of green space, making it perfect for a relaxing day out. The play area is fantastic—it's spacious, clean, and has a great variety of equipment that kept my little one entertained for hours. From swings to slides, and even climbing structures, there’s something for every age group. The splash pad is another highlight, offering a fun way for kids to cool off during hot days. What really stood out to me was the thoughtful layout of the park. There’s ample seating for parents and guardians, so you can easily keep an eye on your child while they play. The pathways are stroller-friendly, which made it easy to navigate with my little one. The park also has plenty of shade, which is a big plus on sunny days. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and safe, making it an ideal spot for a family outing. My preschooler absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend Creditview Sandalwood Park to any parent looking for a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for their kids to play and explore. This park definitely deserves five stars!

On Civic Day, I visited Creditview Sandalwood Park with my family and kids. The park was impressively clean, making it a pleasant experience for everyone. There were plenty of different activities to keep us entertained, especially the splash pad which was a big hit with the kids. The park offers a variety of options for both children and adults to stay active and enjoy the day. One of the standout features was the ample parking space, making it convenient to access the park without any hassle. The overall cleanliness and the well-maintained facilities added to the enjoyable experience. Whether you're looking for a place to relax, play, or simply enjoy a day out with the family, Creditview Sandalwood Park is a fantastic choice.

And that's a wrap to the 3rd annual soul retreat remixed! Day 4 was just a day full of fun things to do. What better way to end the retreat than to be a playful as a child?! We made bracelets, splashed around in the water, played in the playground, blew some bubbles and ended with a silly string shoot out, lol. Until next year!

Nice park with a water fountain and kids play area and a cricket pitch. Would be nice to see more picnic huts/spaces, and even an enclosed space for dogs.

Very well maintained park with great splash pad. Kids remain engaged. Lots of place to sit around for adults. The ice cream truck is usually there ☺️☺️

This is a very spacious park with lots of activities, including a splash pad, lots of climbing structures, a toddler playground, a big kid playground, swings, etc. It is in good condition, except for the areas with wood chips, which are flying all over the place on windy days and are thrown around by kids. I'm a bit perplexed at this design choice, as most of the park is covered by a rubber surface. Overall, it is a great park to visit with the little ones.

Indian Line Campground is a serene lakeside retreat nestled in the woods, just 10 minutes from Toronto's Pearson International Airport. With over 150 campsites for tents and RVs, it offers a peaceful escape from city life while still being conveniently close to Toronto. The campground features laundry facilities, a swimming pool, and a store for all your camping needs.
Indian Line Campground is truly one of the best-kept secrets in Ontario. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the kindest, most welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. Their friendliness and helpfulness set the tone for an amazing stay year round and we continue to come back. The entire campground is immaculately kept—clean, well-organized, and clearly maintained with care. The washrooms and showers are always spotless, the grounds were tidy, and every site felt thoughtfully placed with privacy and comfort in mind. A lot of pride goes into running this park. One of the things we loved most was how quiet and peaceful it was, we forget we are in the middle of the city. Even when it is full, it never feels crowded or noisy. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy some true tranquility. The setting itself is beautiful—surrounded by nature, with plenty of trees, walking trails, and wildlife. It’s hard to believe you're still so close to the city because it feels like a true escape. Whether you're in a tent, trailer, or RV, this place offers a perfect balance of nature and convenience. If you're looking for a clean, quiet, beautifully kept campground with wonderful staff and a welcoming atmosphere, Indian Line is the place. It honestly exceeded every expectation.
Sarah A — Google review
The worst campsite experience I've ever had. We camped at the Indian Lines Campground from Saturday August 23rd and left Tuesday August 26th. While the site itself was spacious and open, nearly everything else was a disappointment. The bathrooms were consistently dirty, and staff were only available from 08:30 to 17:30—same hours as the pool. Because we were out during the day, we never got to use the pool once. The gates were never closed, meaning anyone could wander in and set up camp after hours without supervision. We had requested a site with no services, which was honored, and most of the other campers were friendly. However, our neighboring site on the second and third nights was occupied by an unhoused couple. Normally, I wouldn’t mind, but the woman screamed loudly from 1:00 AM to 4:00 AM, disturbing the entire campground. One camper asked her to quiet down or she’d call the police, which only escalated the yelling. Eventually, five police cars arrived, and things calmed down—until morning, when she started yelling again because her partner had slept through his alarm. My husband and I were furious. There were no staff around to manage the situation, and according to long-term campers, this couple had been there for a while and this behavior was typical. Why the campsite hasn’t addressed this ongoing issue is beyond me. We wanted to file a complaint, but the office was closed both before we left for our prepaid activities and after we returned. On the second night, she was slightly quieter but still woke us up around 1:00 AM. This level of disruption is completely unacceptable. People camp to relax and unwind. If the facilities can’t manage their site or ensure a peaceful environment, then what’s the point? I hope management takes this seriously and implements changes to protect future guests.

Indian Line Campground – Brampton I recently stayed at Indian Line Campground, and overall, it’s a great spot for anyone who wants to enjoy camping close to Brampton or Toronto without going too far from the city. 🏕️ Campsites & Layout There are plenty of sites for tents, trailers, and RVs — some with full hookups and others unserviced. A few are pull-through and easy to access. The sites are mostly open with grassy and gravel areas, and there’s lots of space to set up comfortably. If you plan to camp with both a trailer/RV and tents, it’s best to call ahead to confirm how many are allowed per site. 🚆 Noise & Location One thing to note is that a train track runs behind the campground, and trains do pass by regularly. It didn’t ruin our stay, but if you’re sensitive to noise, try to book a site closer to the front of the park where it’s much quieter. 🚿 Facilities & Amenities The campground is well equipped with washrooms, showers, coin laundry, and a small convenience store that sells firewood, ice, and basic camping supplies. The showers are set at one temperature — warm enough later in the day, but a bit chilly early in the morning! There’s also a playground for kids and a swimming pool during the warmer months, which makes it very family-friendly. 🌳 Scenery & Atmosphere There are beautiful walking trails around the area, plenty of green space, and a calm atmosphere. The weather was great during our stay, and it was such a nice way to close out the camping season. The campground itself is very clean and well maintained, with garbage and recycling bins placed throughout for easy use. It’s also conveniently located — there are small stores and restaurants within about a 10-minute walk. 🤝 People & Experience Everyone we met was friendly and respectful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I didn’t see many staff around, but the grounds were tidy and clearly looked after. 💡 Tips for Campers Choose a site near the front for less train noise. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Shower later in the day for warmer water. Great spot for families — kids will love the pool and playground. 📸 Final Thoughts Indian Line Campground is a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to camp near the city. It’s perfect for families, weekend getaways, or anyone who wants a simple and peaceful camping experience without going far. Overall, I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars — would definitely come back again!
Kierstynn W — Google review
It's a well-kept campground near the city. I stayed there for two nights with my trailer for the first time. There were no sewer hookups at any site, but the main bathroom and shower facilities were okay. There was a outdoor pool and a small playground for younger children.

Really nice campground! We spent about $40 for the night, which is pretty reasonable. There’s a huge lake super close to the site, so it’s perfect for swimming, fishing, or just hanging out by the water. The area feels safe and peaceful, and everyone we met there was super friendly. The site itself was clean and easy to set up at, with plenty of space to relax. Honestly, such a good spot if you want a chill getaway without spending too much. Definitely recommend!
Sahana B — Google review
Excellent urban campsite. Sucked that the pool is only open weekends when campers are here renting. Not normally supervised pool, so what's the difference. Campground is mostly seasonal, so traffic in the morning is busy with folks headed to work. We stayed here while our Dog was having surgery in Mississauga, so, amenities were not overly important, but pool would have been nice with it being 27c and all.

I thoroughly enjoyed 2025 camp season. Staff is incredible. Always smiling always willing to help. Such a friendly team! Park manager is also friendly, professional and wonderful. I love the organization and the way the park is run! I look forward to the 2026 camp season! Clean washrooms and I love the pool. Camp appreciation bbq was such a great touch! Thanks ❤️

My family and I camped here for 2 nights, because it's close to Canada's Wonderland and we didn't want to stay in a hotel or leave super early the morning of our trip, as we live in Eastern Ontario. The location of Indian Line was very convenient for our trip to Wonderland. I had no idea that a campground was tucked away in that area! The park was very clean and the staff were very friendly. There's a dumping site which was helpful to do before our trip home, and there's firewood on site for purchase if you forget to bring some. The park is subject to air traffic with planes frequently flying overhead, and if your site is close to the train tracks, you'll definitely want to bring earplugs. We found it challenging to sleep both nights because of the noise from planes and trains. We would definitely camp at Indian Line again!

Kay Snelgrove Valley is a stunning natural haven that captivates both wildlife and visitors alike. This picturesque spot invites locals to take leisurely strolls after meals, while dog owners enjoy the fresh air with their furry companions. The park's pond is home to ducks and geese, who seem to reign supreme in this serene environment. With no entry fee required, families can explore the vibrant wildflowers and towering pine trees that enhance the landscape.
It’s raw and it’s beautiful. A place which both humans and birds and tiny animals enjoy. It’s a place where near by residents enjoy to stroll in after a meal. Dog walkers bring in their dogs out for a walk too and ducks and geese feel like the real bosses of the park and live in the pond there. There is no entry fee. The wild flowers and pine trees are beautiful. It’s a kid friendly place where little children ride their bikes. The only hitch is there can be some mosquitoes and flying creatures especially after the rain. So I recommend using bug spray and wear sensible shoes.
