Aguascalientes railway museum. Huge area, with historic locomotives, freight & passenger cars. Restaurants, cafes, parks playgrounds. Excellent for families and kids. Highly recommend.
Jim B — Google review
Plaza de las Tres Centurias is a historic and cultural space with old railway buildings, beautiful gardens, and monuments that honor Aguascalientes’ railroad heritage.
Kayla R — Google review
Ome of the best places to just have a chill moment and be in touch with the culture of AGS. Every Sunday you can find stands of different people selling fruits, food, and a variety of products. Is also a greater place to spend time with your familia and kids. I love that is one of the few places where you can find that many trees.
Alex A — Google review
Very nice place to view old classic trains. If you take the kiddy train tour, you can learn about the location and the train they have. They also have a museum but we left a little early and didn't go inside. It's a nice relaxing place.
Arturo R — Google review
Probably the most photographeable spot in town. It has gorgeous buildings from an old train station complex built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This complex includes museum, park areas, fountains, fast food, real ancient trains, etc. But the place lacks of activities all around the place that engage the visitors or heritage inside its historical buildings. Anyways... This is an obligated stop in town.
Masher A — Google review
Nice area to chill with family, friends, or a significant other. Weekends there are vendors where you can purchase food, trinkets, souvenirs and more.

Great place to visit, cultural, relaxing. It has a small but very interesting museum.

Beautiful large gardens, very tranquil. Church outside, plaza del todos. Restaurants, cafes and shops across the road. Perfect spot to spend a few quiet hours.
Jim B — Google review
Very beautiful plant life, a lot of birds and even a squirrel or two, got to visit during Feria de San Marcos, so it was packed, but it was a very enriching experience.
Gabriel G — Google review
Good sized enclosed park, full of tall green, beautiful, luscious trees and plants of all kinds. Very unique place to listen to birds, see squirrels waking around, listen to relaxing music or reading. I've seen people jog around the perimeter. You definitely have to visit at least once in your life, it's worth the journey. All around here are fancy restaurants and fast food options with some of the best desserts too! While you're here, stop at the church right in front, it's also gorgeous😊
Yessi V — Google review
Nice well kept park. Clean, beautiful, not big but nice.

This is a very nice garden near the center of Aguascalientes, MX. Full of trees and singing birds. At night it is beautifully lit and many activities take place. A peaceful break from the hubbub of the city.

State park
Nature & Parks
Dams
Aventura Boca de Túnel Park is a state park that offers various activities such as zip lining and high ropes course. The complete course comprises 13 bridges and 2 zip lines, providing breathtaking views of the canyon and lake. Visitors can opt for a half-course if they are unsure about completing the entire thing. The price to access the park is currently 400 pesos, which includes a rowboat ride back to the start.
Amazing experience! 13 bridges and 2 zip lines is their "complete" course, which takes about an hour and a half. Beautiful views of the canyon and lake as your walk along the trek. Currently prices are 400 pesos for the complete course, but they also offer a "half" course if you're not sure you want to do the entire thing. When you're done, they take you back to the start in a small rowboat. Not much English is spoken by anyone here, but we managed fine.
Chris W — Google review
A lot of fun. If you arrange through the AGS Tourist place it's cheap, they pick you up and drop you off. Had a blast. I would say no children. It's safe, but unless they're daredevils.
Joel S — Google review
We had a fantastic time here. We showed up around 11am on a Wednesday and paid the $400 pesos. We and the two guides were the only people in the canyon, so we had a private tour. The ropes course was fun, not too challenging or scary, and the scenery was superb.
Emily B — Google review
Went here 9 years ago, and had an awesome time at the zip lines. Not to mention the town was beautiful.
Maira M — Google review
This is my second time I come. Great staff love the zip lines and bridges. They need more marketing so others can come and enjoy this awesome adventure in Aguascalientes.

Mundo A is an excellent destination to escape the summer heat. The water temperature was not overly cold, contrary to some reviews that stated otherwise. While compared to American water parks it may be slightly cooler, it still provided a refreshing experience. However, there were a few downsides such as certain attractive slides being closed and the wave pool lacking impressive waves.
This place is amazing. We had a great time at minimal cost. There is a store on site for those last minute necessities, as well as a food shack - or you can bring in your own picnic. The prices are all around economical. The staff are super friendly and helpful. From very young child to older adult, you will have a great time. The water slides are awesome!
Javier O — Google review
Great spot to beat the summer heat. Water was not too cold (other reviews I've read said the water was cold -- compared to American water parks, it's the same. Compared to some other hot-springs-fed water parks it is cooler, but it felt very good and refreshing to me). My only complaints would be that several of the coolest looking slides were not open and the wave pool had pretty anemic looking waves. The only food options I saw were packaged foods like chips and candy; they did have beer, pop and water but no fresh hot food that I could see. Other than that, great spot. We went on a Saturday when it was 85F and it was not crowded and easy to get a table in the shade. Cost was 95 pesos per person, and 40 pesos to rent a two-person tobogan for the day which I recommend!
Diana R — Google review
This water park has good location, it does have a few problems number 1 water is very cold so if you're ok with cold water dip in! The women's restrooms were very dirty other than that it has nice installations and parking is ok also, they play good music one pool area as well also you can't take alcoholic beverages in they'll make you leave them at the gate but you can purchase alcohol inside.
Lizet M — Google review

The view's awesome. It's $15 pesos per person and even in quarantine they let you in only with your mask. Incredibly good for a barbecue and just get relaxed

El Sabinal is a fantastic place for a family outing. The sights are stunning, with beautiful old trees and a refreshing river. Exploring the park was entertaining for everyone, both adults and kids. We enjoyed hiking the trails and picnicking by the water. Highly recommend it for a relaxing day in nature. Additionally, it’s a fantastic spot for birthday parties or any other special occasion, offering a beautiful and spacious setting to celebrate with family and friends.

With its inviting green spaces, the park offers ample room for picnics on the grass or at picnic tables, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. Nice park in quiet neighborhood. Good for kids, slide swings, seesaws. Grass to sit down for a picnic..picnic tables if you prefer. Good place to exercise or play basketball or soccer/Futbol. The downside is the bathroom situation..unless I didn't see it hidden.. it appears there is no bathroom, kind of important if you plan to bring children.

(Translated by Google) It is beautiful but lacks maintenance. For example; The "jog track" becomes a slalom due to so much bumpiness. Be careful when stepping because you may not leave with your ankles in good condition, in addition to a possible fall. All the bushes like a comb. Municipality, attention please!!! And people, put the garbage in the cans.
